No Sin Is Too Much For The Lord Jesus To Forgive

We humans, without exception, have done something in our lives, whether small or big, that was not pleasing to the Lord. But the great thing here is that we can fall into temptation now, but it is what we do after that counts. We may blindly fall and do something so displeasing to the Lord, but once we realise that, it is what we do after that counts.

We may sin without knowing, and once we realise we have sinned, we stop and rapidly repent for the Lord’s mercy, grace and forgiveness. However, some people sin, and once they realise it, they still go ahead with it for something they want, forgetting all the adverse consequences they will have to face.

As the Scripture says, “No temptation has overtaken us that is not common to man.”

So when we fall into temptation, the Lord will always come and show us the way out. But we must be alert and vigilant to see when the Lord is showing us the way out of those temptations. Because if we fail to see that way out, which the Lord is showing us, we may be stuck with that temptation, in that situation, for a long time and even all our lives.

And there’s nothing worse than to live our lives based on lies, based on false hope, based on wrong choices because of that one deadly mistake we may have made.

The greatest thing is that we have God, and God is so good and compassionate.

No sin is too much for God to forgive, given that He sees a heart filled with godly sorrow and the willingness to turn from our wrong ways. Some sins leave room for God’s correction and discipline when He takes that situation to teach those who hear a sound teaching, leading them to repentance, and then, His forgiveness takes place. For this, we are always learning, whether in a good or an evil situation, thanks to the Great Lord who brings out the best even in the most terrible situation.

Yes. The Lord is great! No sin is too much for Him to forgive. But there is a condition. It is only when we do our parts by truly repenting. Let’s not think that we can just sin and expect God to forgive us even if we did not say sorry or truly show Him how sorry we are.

King David, showed God how sorry he was when he sinned against the Lord. We can learn from him.

We learn from Our Lord Jesus Christ, who never sinned. We can also learn from His human servants, who remain truthful to His teachings. The Lord’s servants who are faithful to His teachings won’t lead anyone astray but to the Lord Jesus Himself.

But once we understand that we’ve sinned, what do we do? We plead with God; we show Him how sorry we are. We show Him how much we hate what we have done and how much we have no intention of ever returning to sin again.

A new creation no longer practices sin. But there are times when the enemy, who’s so full of tricks, will place some irresistible temptations before your face. You must be so resistant to overcome them. You must be so much in the Lord and be quick at remembering what God hates. Because if we forget or just say, “Okay, just this minute, and we can get things right,” then that minute might cost us a lifetime of regrets.

So, we are humans with the capability of sinning. But that capability is not an excuse when we also have been given self-control and the ability to know right from wrong and to discern and to choose right from wrong. Sin is not in control of us;

We can be in control of sin because we have free will to say “No.”

No sin is too much for God to forgive. Suppose you are one of those who did not know and you have sinned so much, and now you’re thinking, “Oh, I have done too much wrong; God will never forgive me; I just must remind you that ‘No sin is too much for God to forgive.’

The Lord Jesus died on the Cross for us, and because of that, anyone who knocks on His door and pleads for His forgiveness and truly gives Him that godly sorrow repentance, God will not say, “Walk away from Me.” God only says, “Walk away from Me” when those who love evil continuously love evil and have no intention to repent and have all blown away every opportunity God has ever given them to repent. But God is not going to shut His door on somebody, even if they have committed too many sins, who comes to Him now and says, “Lord, please, forgive me. I renounce evil totally. Take my life; I turn from my wicked ways.” There is not one single person who has done this to God, and was truly genuine to turn from their ways, and God told them, “It is too late.’ Only our death, our physical death on this earth, will make it too late. And if we have missed out on all those opportunities we had to repent and make things right with God, then we have messed up our lives.

Yes, the Lord is willing to forgive those who are willing to let go of their sins and renounce evil. When the Lord sees a genuine heart who is so sorry, He knows whether they will return to that sin or not.

No sin is too much for the Lord Jesus to forgive except blaspheming the Holy Spirit. But I’m speaking about every other sin, that, though they may be deadly, if you come to God with it, He will forgive you.

The Lord Himself says, “The wicked behaviour of the wicked person will not condemn them if they turn and repent.” So that is proof that you can be wicked beyond control, but when you let go of that and return to God and beg Him for forgiveness, He will forgive you.

Some may say, “I went to the Lord, asked Him for forgiveness, but I did not experience anything.” Well, if you have noticed this, you need to examine your life and ask yourself if you have truly repented?

Many say, “I’m sorry Lord,” and you can see they’re meaning it, but the next day, they return again to the same very things. When we’re sorry about one thing, we should not do that very thing again.

The Lord won’t snatch from your hands something that you hold on to. If you want to hold on so much to your sins, the Lord leaves you with them.

Show the Lord that you hate sins, that you want nothing to do with them, and then He comes so rapidly because He loves that.

If God does not take somebody’s sins away, it is because they have never gone to Him, they have never let Him; they have never wanted those sins to go away. If someone ends up in hell, it is not because God did not love them, but they refused God’s love, they turned down God’s forgiveness, they turned down the Eternal Salvation the Lord Jesus has offered everyone on the Cross since He died for all. But when we don’t welcome that, we remain in the darkness. But some remaining in the darkness does not undo what the Lord has done on the Cross. But they did not welcome that in their life. So, yes, there is no excuse to not go to God and beg Him for forgiveness. There is no excuse that you have committed too many sins. God never said, “You have committed too many sins. So I won’t forgive you.” Even as we see in the Holy Bible, His own people were continuously sinning against Him; they were idolaters, most of them. He continuously pleaded with them to come back to Him so He would fix them, He would forgive them and heal them. So this shows the kind of God that we have here: an awesome God, beautiful, perfect God, righteous God, glorious, forgiving and merciful. He understands humans. He knows that we cannot be sinless like Him. But He wants us, at least, to know this. And know that we can come to Him with a determination to not go back again, for when we are truly genuine, and when godly sorrow takes in, it changes us completely, the Lord’s forgiveness takes place, and His Holy Spirit comes in. And it won’t be long before we are beginning to hate those very things that we used to think we love. No deed of darkness fixes anybody. No deed of darkness blesses anyone but damages them. So, let’s not waste this opportunity, let’s not be blind, let’s not let demons blindfold us while we’re still here on this earth. Let us look and see this Great God in front of us, right there, who is willing to forgive and to blot all our sins away, for no sin is too much for Him to forgive when we are genuinely sorry and want to renounce that evil and not go back to it. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus that this message will get to you and that you’ll see it is the truth.

No sin is too much for the Lord Jesus to forgive. He Is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Some sins are obvious to see, and others are not so visible. But each person knows their sins, and God knows everyone's sins. So, the humble sinners come before God to show Him they want to turn away from what He, the Lord, has already seen and known. They come, for they hunger for God to look at them again since He turned His face away because of those unrepented sins. They come because they have been away from the Lord for a long time and now miss God in their lives. They come before God because they have finally realised they are in the darkness, far away from the Light, Jesus Christ. They want the Lord to set them free from the darkness and fill them with His LOVE and peace beyond human comprehension. And so, because they now seek the Lord with all their hearts willing to let go of their own ways, because they are now ready to receive the Love of Christ, His forgiveness, His eternal salvation, He gives it to them gladly and opens His arms wide for them to come in. Amen.

Lord, I thank You so much. Thank You for Your mercy, Your love and compassion, and for helping me to understand this, Lord. You are God, and You’re always doing great things, and everything that You do is for the righteous purpose, for You are righteous and good forever.

I thank You, Father, Holy Father, God of Heaven and Earth. I thank You, and I thank Your Son Jesus, and I thank Your Holy Spirit, who teaches and guides us. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
