  2. God’s Beauty Is Beyond Description

  3. A Sermon By Elise Beatrice - 21 May 2025

  4. The bigger your calling, the bigger your trials and tribulations. Depending on what God has given you to do, the amount of it will define the amount of your trials. If your calling is a small one, your sufferings will be small. If it is huge, your sufferings will be huge.

  5. If living for Christ were easy, many would come, even those who don’t believe in Him, nor love Him, nor listen to Him. But because it is very challenging, that’s why it is the narrow way, through which only a few will walk to heaven.

  6. In the past, God’s people rebelled and abandoned Him, but when they sank into the darkness and cried out to the Lord, He came to their rescue. Even today, in this broken generation, we see so many believers practising sin, embracing the deeds of darkness that kill them spiritually. But when they finally realise it, and call upon the Lord, He comes to their rescue. So, let’s not take the Lord’s grace for granted.

  7. Most of those people still have problems with their faith, and even with their beliefs. Most of those people have suffered and even been attacked by demons because of their sins. They disobey God and practice evil of any kind, yet the Lord came to their rescue when they called upon God.

  8. This is for everyone who still thinks wrong things against God to see that God is perfect. So, we’re seeing God at work, even among those who have been so disobedient to Him. And when they are finally looking for God, God is there. So what does this tell us? It shows a God who is faithful, who is perfect, who loves us, who loves His creation,

  9. and who loves His people that, even if we’re led astray, some without knowing, and find ourselves in darkness, the Lord will always come to our rescue when we finally realise something and are seeking Him. Sometimes, people may seek God without actually realising that they are seeking God, but their heart is crying out for help, and only God can see it. And the Lord will often reveal Himself to such people. So, we are seeing around us the lives of those who have practised all kinds of sins being redeemed by our Lord Jesus Christ, for they have shown sincere regrets and have begun to hate their own ways.

  10. And once the Light of Christ came and shone in their lives, they finally found peace that they had sought for years and could not find.

  11. Because many people would be looking for Christ, but at the same time, they want to do their own way, and they often are serving two masters. They want Christ today, and tomorrow, they want the things from demons, and once they’re stuck in them, they think by obeying the devil, he will go easy on them and not torment them with his fear and hatred. But then, they just get worse and worse and worse, and worse, and the only solution to that is the Lord Jesus Christ. So, many may not understand why God would rescue people who have done atrocious things, wicked evil, - and this is today, this is not the past, - but I do understand why. God wants us to see that even in the lives of those people, He came to their rescue when they were looking for Him. And that is amazing, how people treat God with such injustice, but the Lord shows Himself when they call upon Him. And that is amazing of Him.

  12. I have suffered a lot for being devoted to Christ, but the Lord has always been rescuing me. He has always been exposing any evil for me to see. He has been my victory every day.

  13. While others are suffering because of their devotion to Christ, some are suffering because of their own sins, yet the Lord still comes to their rescue when they finally are seeking Him. That shows a God who is beautiful, God who is blameless. And why does God do that? Because He is LOVE. He is perfect LOVE. No one has an excuse to blame God. God is not to blame for anything that we do. God is not to blame for people’s sins. God is not to blame for any evil, because it is not God practising evil, it is us humans practising evil. Why? Because of rebellion, disobedience to God that began in the Garden of Eden. Many have embraced that disobedience, and they continue to disobey God today. However, some are stopping that disobedience, and turning to God and beginning to live for Him, and now they live their lives according to the Lord’s ways. Those are new creations who no longer practice sin. It is written ’a new creation no longer practices sin.’ So if you’re indeed a new creation, you will no longer practice sin.

  14. It is God’s grace because He is perfect love. He is perfect Love. Some people out there, as soon as they are going through some trials, they blame God, and resent God, and insult God and say wrong things against God. And this is unfair.

  15. They’re suffering because of their own sins. They are rebelling against God, and they are insulting God that they’re suffering. And that is wrong.

  16. They are in the darkness, doing whatever they want, which is hurting them daily and taking away the peace, taking away the love and replacing it with hatred, yet You are coming to their rescue when they finally realise that. How great Are You, Lord? What a great God You Are!

  17. Romans 8,

  18. “31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t He also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one—for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

  19. “35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

  20. 36 As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.” 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

  21. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  22. Nothing can separate us from God’s love. No matter what we do, God will still love us. But because God loves us and will always love us, it does not mean that He is going to take everyone to Heaven. He is not going to take those who did not welcome that love, who did not welcome Him, who is LOVE, to Heaven. That is why He is here, even in this broken generation today.

  23. Some people are say that God is no longer at work. This is because they have not let God show them that He is still at work, even today.

  24. Here in 2 Chronicles 15,

  25. “15 Then the Spirit of God came upon Azariah son of Oded, 2 and he went out to meet King Asa as he was returning from the battle.”

  26. And he said to him,

  27. ‘Of course, this is the Spirit of God. This is God speaking to these people, using Azariah.’

  28. And he said to him,

  29. “Listen to me, Asa!” he shouted. “Listen, all you people of Judah and Benjamin! The Lord will stay with you as long as you stay with Him! Whenever you seek Him, you will find Him. But if you abandon Him, He will abandon you. 3 For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach them, and without the Law to instruct them. 4 But whenever they were in trouble and turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought Him out, they found Him.”

  30. Yes. Isn’t it what God is doing today? For all those people who are embracing darkness, some without knowing what they’re doing, some knowing that it is wrong, but they still do it, but then, when they truly are seeking the Lord, He shows Himself. Isn’t it what God is doing today in this broken generation? Because God is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. He is LOVE forever. He is the God who cares. He did not create us not to love us. He created us out of love, because He is Love.

  31. So, when you find yourself on the Judgment Day of the Lord, you will realise that God has always, always been there for you, even when you did not, God was knocking at your door.

  32. The Lord Jesus says, “Look, I stand at your door and knock. If you hear Me and open the door, I will come in and dine with you as friends.”

  33. So, while you don’t know, God is standing at your door and knocking. But that one who continuously shuts their door on Him and abandons Him, and says, “I want nothing to do with You,” until they die in their sins, they will go to hell, though God still loves them. But God’s love did not stop them from going to hell, because they made wrong choices by blocking the door to God, the God Most High, who is the Creator of all humans, who knows what we are going through, who is the medicine we need, who is our deliverer, who is our healing, when we let Him.

  34. So, Christ died on the Cross for us. But did you welcome that Love? Did you accept that forgiveness, did you accept that eternal life He presented to you on the Cross, and said, “I give you Eternal life?” You must welcome it.

  35. If somebody gives you a gift, and you reject it, you don’t have it.

  36. If I buy something for you, or give you something, the minute you take that gift, it becomes yours. But if you don’t take it, it is never yours. But if you take and do not take good care of it, you lose it.

  37. The Lord Jesus won’t force anyone with salvation and eternal life, though He continuously repeats the truth and pleads with us, humans, to listen and let Him save us. The fact that many will end up in hell is proof that the Lord God did not force His forgiveness, love and Salvation on humans.

  38. So yes, the Lord Jesus gave us a gift on the Cross. But did you take yours?

  39. God loves everyone, but do you love Him?

  40. God has a way pleasing to Himself, the way He taught us to love Him. We all have read the Scriptures, and He tells us continuously how we should love Him, and it is simple.

  41. “If we love Me, obey My Commandments.”

  42. That is how we show God that we love Him. He loves us, He will always do, for He has no problem. But if we don’t love Him back, we don’t have Him, and we don’t know Him. And He doesn’t know us. So, that’s how to please God, to live for Him and obey His Commandments, to thank Him for loving us and saving us on the Cross.

  43. Obeying God is proof that we love God, that we love the Lord Jesus who died for us.

  44. But those, still, who though they have done all kinds of evil, have remembered what Christ did on the Cross and came back to God, and

  45. God came to their rescue. And that shows a God who is beautiful forever. He is eternally righteous and good, and loving and caring, and generous and merciful.

  46. So, we have no excuse, really. No one has an excuse to blame God, because He is always going to be there for those who call upon Him, those who turn from their ways to acknowledge His ways. So, there is no excuse for anyone who’s making wrong choices and might end up in hell. It’s just an excuse they’re using to blame God. But the truth is, they indeed just want to do what they want. But they need someone to blame and hide behind in order to do that evil.

  47. So yes, toss your pride aside and get to know your God. Know who He is. That way, when satan comes to you to label his ugly characteristics upon God, you will refuse it and say, “No! I won’t accept that. Because that is not the God of the Holy Bible, He is not the God Most High; the God of Heaven and Earth describes Himself in this Holy Bible, and those who know Him know His beauty, and His Character, and His Love, and His righteousness, and His goodness, His Faithfulness, and His promise He always keeps.

  48. So, if somebody must do evil, at least they should have the decency to leave God out of it, because God does no evil.

  49. I pray with all my heart and soul that you would welcome this message. I never foresee what the Lord will give. I just take the words and I stand there, and the Lord fills me, wherever direction it goes, and I know God is the One speaking now, using me, even, to speak to you. So I’m praying that you will take this seriously, for that might be the beginning of your new life.

  50. Christ said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble at heart, and you will find rest for your soul, for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

  51. We may suffer here on this earth, but it ends on this earth. And the next life is free from that evil, from those oppressions, persecution. So yes, Christ is the Saviour, the only Saviour. He is the hope of every human being. Christ is the Key. Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Don’t live without Him. May His peace be with you.

  52. Thank You, Lord Jesus. You are so amazing, Lord. Holy Father, You are perfect. Oh, Lord, how beautiful You are, my God. How can we ever express how You are? There is no word. All the words in the dictionary

  53. could not even come close to Your beauty, to Your perfection, to Your grace and mercy and faithfulness. Lord, You are beyond our comprehension. And You only reveal to us the little we can handle. So, we could not even explain Your beauty. No one can ever be able to say how beautiful you are. We can just use the words that we’re familiar with, the words we have come to know. Even so, they don’t come close to Your beauty. You are amazing, Lord. You are perfect forever. You are eternally beautiful and awesome, and I’m just praying that many will hear this and know that You are at work, even today, and You are reaching out for them to grab Your mighty Hand, so that You can uphold them. So, thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You for Your grace and Your mercy. We love You, God, we love You, Lord, we love You, my Jesus, we love You, God. Holy Father, we love You, thank You so much. Thank You for this great thing You do for Your people, You do for Your children, You do for the lost. You are perfect, Lord, thank You so much. Thank You for Your perfect love that cast out fear. Oh, please, my God, hear my prayer and welcome this praise for You.

  54. In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Thank You, Father. Amen.
