-
A Sermon By Elise Beatrice - Saturday 29 November 2025
-
Lord Jesus, please take over and guide me. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Your will be done. We love You, and we thank You.
-
Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy and Your love. We can't do without Your peace, Lord. So, thank You for Your peace, for Your joy, for Your light, for Your Salvation, and strength and power. We love You, and we bless You. Please hear my prayer in Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
-
Isaiah 12,
-
In that day You will sing:
-
“I will praise You, O Lord!
-
You were angry with me, but not any more. Now You comfort me.
-
2 See, God has come to save me.
-
I will trust in Him and not be afraid.
-
The Lord God is my strength and my song;
-
He has given me victory.”
-
3 With joy you will drink deeply
-
from the fountain of salvation!
-
4 In that wonderful day you will sing:
-
“Thank the Lord! Praise His name!
-
Tell the nations what He has done.
-
Let them know how mighty He is!
-
5 Sing to the Lord, for He has done wonderful things.
-
Make known His praise around the world.
-
6 Let all the people of Jerusalem shout His praise with joy!
-
For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”
-
So, "In that day You will sing."
-
What day?
-
This is the Day when the Lord will be among us, when we will see Him face to face. We will be saying to Him these words,
-
"You were angry with me, but not anymore." For You have forgiven me, You have taken me with You, You have adopted me, and now I'm with You here, and I will spend eternity being comforted by You.
-
"Now You comfort me."
-
Isaiah 40:10-11 says,
-
"He tends His flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart. He gently leads the nursing ewes. Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and His arm establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him."
-
Revelation 22:12-13,
-
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
-
The Lord is coming; He will comfort His children; He will comfort His people. We have suffered here on this earth for our Lord. And with the Lord's great presence among us, He comforts us with eternal love, goodness, happiness, joy, peace and more. No more darkness, no more demons, no more satan, no more lies, no more oppression, no more spiritual attacks, no more of those things, no more evil. And we will just live for eternity with the Lord, and while we're living with the Lord, we praise Him. No one will help but praise the Lord; they will be expressing the truth because, once the lie is out of the way, only the truth remains. Many people on this earth are not praising God because the devil is continuously filling their minds with lies. And when they are believing the lies, they cannot truly, fully praise God. But once that lie is out of the way, there is nothing left but the truth. And everything is evident. And everyone will see their whole life flying before their eyes, all the great things that the Lord has ever done for them. Even those who may not see now, they will see then. There will not be any more lies in the way to obstruct the truth. And so, once you see something like that, it's just pure gratefulness; there is no ungratefulness in the way anymore. There is no immorality and injustice in the way anymore. There is no greed. There is no more taking things from the Lord and taking the credit and not praising the One who deserves praise. Everything will be evident.
-
"2 See, God has come to save me."
-
So yes, the Lord Jesus kept His promise, and now He is here.
-
The Scriptures say in 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8,
-
"6 In His justice He will pay back those who persecute you. 7 And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from Heaven. He will come with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus."
-
Yes, my God has come to save me. He did what He said He would do. I can see Him face-to-face.
-
God was angry with us; He was angry with humanity for having left Him, for having been rebellious against Him from the very beginning. So His Son Jesus came to die on the Cross for us, so that the Lord Father God would no longer be angry with those who welcomed His Son Jesus and listened to Him. And because of what His Son, Jesus, did on the Cross, Father God has adopted billions of children in all generations.
-
In all generations, God has been doing a great job of forgiving people and saving them from the darkness; those who let Him. And those people will be there now, seeing their God finally face-to-face.
-
The Lord is confident, saying to us that this is how we will sound on that Day. He has already seen this happen, but as for us, we will only see it on that Day. So, let's visualise ourselves on that day, saying all these beautiful words of gratitude and thanksgiving to our Lord, and let this be a powerful reminder that what the Lord has already seen and approved of will happen. And even more of a reassurance when it is the Lord Himself telling us what we will say to Him on that Day. Now that we have finished visualising, we should then take a firm decision and stick to it, no matter what, to live in such a way pleasing to the Lord, so that we will indeed be among the Lord's children who will give Him thanks on such a Day."
-
Now, I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.
-
In that Day, we will tell this to the Lord. God is seeing the truth; what will happen. We will tell God these words. So while we're still here, then, we should trust Him and not be afraid, knowing that He is our strength, our song, and He has given us victory on the Cross.
-
The Lord Jesus said on the Cross, "It is finished." He did it, He has done what He came to do, and that work He did on the Cross was not just in the past; that work He did on the Cross is the same work that will continue on the Last Days when He Comes Again.
-
It is because He has already done the work on the Cross that He's coming now to condemn the world, to judge the Earth. So, we, who live in the Lord, have already gained that victory over the enemy, even though he's still oppressing us; it's because he is angry. But we will trust in Him and not be afraid. I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.'
-
Yes, "with joy we will drink deeply from the fountain of Salvation."
-
This is the price of Salvation. The beautiful price of salvation is not just one thing; it's eternal happiness. Well of Salvation, deeply from the Fountain of Salvation, meaning, it is a salvation that never ends.
-
So, when we see a fountain that is sucking water from the sea to bring to people, that water never runs out, 'it's coming from the sea, or from the mountains, or from the spring. God is the One providing water that never runs out. So the fountain just brings that water to us.
-
But we are speaking here about the Fountain of Salvation, that fountain will be there forever, running with salvation; we will be enjoying eternal salvation; that is such a beautiful thing. That is the best thing of all that will happen to us. I mean, Christ is Salvation, He is the Best Thing of all that has happened to us. It's only in Him we live. It's only in Him we are truly saved. So that Salvation will be forever, and we will look at our God and feel only joy, only peace, only love, true divine love. Our Joy will no more be stolen by satan and his demons. There will no more be hypocrisy or fake fellowship.
-
The Well of Salvation:
-
When we see the well, it never runs out of water. Many people fetch water from the well, and it never runs out, because God, the One who provides water, never runs out of it.
-
God is the Well of Salvation; the Lord Jesus is the Well of Salvation; He's the Fountain of Salvation. He is the Spring of Living Water, and living with Him in eternal life, we will be drinking water from the Spring of Living Water.
-
So, in that wonderful Day, you will sing,
-
"Thanks the Lord, praise His name! Tell the nations what He has done! Let them know how mighty He is. Sing to the Lord, for He has done wonderful things. Make known His praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout His praise with joy. For Great is the Holy One of Israel, who lives among us!"
-
These are beautiful words from the Lord, reminding us to have hope, reminding us this is what will happen when He comes again. Our cup will be so overflowing with pure joy; with love that only our new bodies will be able to contain.
-
The Joy of the Lord is beyond human comprehension, and our bodies could not even cope with such a joy. But because the Lord will give us a new body, we will cope with the joy we will experience. So this is a beautiful thing, and I want to be part of it. Aah, yes, I'm part of it, as long as I remain faithful to the Lord, and I pray that you will do whatever you can to be part of this wonderful thing the Lord will do; this wonderful thing the Lord is about to do.
-
He said through His apostle in 1 Corinthians 2:9,
-
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him."
-
So this says it all. No one has seen. We can imagine, we can even try to think of how it will be, but 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.'
-
So, we can try to think, but we have not seen such a thing to compare it. If we have not seen such beauty, we can't even know how to describe something we have not yet seen. So we can only describe what we have not yet seen by using the words that were presented to us on this earth, or by using what to us appears as beautiful, but 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him.'
-
So, the Lord is bringing us this beautiful prophecy, coming from His own mouth, saying to us, 'Yes, this is what you will say on that Day to Me. So while you are still on earth, trust in the Lord, trust in Me.'
-
The Lord Jesus indeed has said many times, 'Trust in Me. Trust in what I'm saying to you.'
-
Trust Him; trust that what He is saying, He will do it. Trust that the beauty He is speaking about, we will be speechless. There are no words to describe what the Lord will do. We don't have those kinds of words to describe the beauty of God. When we are describing God, we can only limit ourselves to the words that we know from the dictionary; the words that human beings have ever used. Only the Lord has the words to describe Himself as He is. There are no words on this earth to describe the full beauty of God.
-
And the Lord makes it simple for us to understand by saying,
-
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what the Lord has prepared for those who love Him."
-
So this is a beautiful prophecy to encourage us here, while we're serving the Lord, while we're leaving as true children of God, as His sheep who listen to Him, time will be hard for us. We are living in a world where there is evil, and those who love evil are bound to hate those who hate evil. For this, He is comforting us, saying, 'Yes, you may go through tough times, you may go through persecution, verbal, spiritual and physical, but if you endure and persevere and do not give up, if you trust Me and keep listening to Me, you will see Me face to face, and you'll be so happy that you will keep thanking and praising Me.'
-
Verse 2,
-
"I will trust in Him and not be afraid."
-
So, we must understand that it is here, while we are still here on earth, that we should trust the Lord and not be afraid. Because when the Lord Comes Again, there will be nothing, no more, to be afraid of, because the Lord will be with us, and even when He will let the devil come out of the bottomless pit after a thousand years, we will still not be afraid because the Lord will be with us. And the Lord Jesus will send fire from Heaven to consume satan's army, who will attempt to surround God's people and the New Jerusalem, as in Revelation 20:7-10.
-
So, it is already over for satan even now. Because the Lord Jesus had conquered the grave, He had triumphed over death. Satan is waiting for his condemnation. That's why he is angry, that's why he is bitter, because he knows his time is short. He's continually forcing himself, throwing himself on God's children. But the Lord knows that if we are in the Lord and listen to Him, He won't let satan triumph over us. The Lord won't let any demon possess us when we are listening to Him; those who belong to Him.
-
So we should not be afraid; we should trust the Lord and not be afraid.
-
In this battle, we keep listening to Him, no matter what; we keep living by His ways, no matter what. And in doing so, the Lord will do the rest beautifully.
-
May the Lord Jesus' peace be with you. May you be comforted by this sermon, and may the Name of the Lord be glorified forever and ever.
-
Thank You, Holy Father, thank You for such beauty. Thank You for Your promise and Your faithfulness. Thank You, Lord, for Your joy and Your peace, for Your light and salvation, Your healing and deliverance from evil.
-
Thank You for Your protection and Your strength. You sustain us.
-
Thank You for Your continuous reminder that we should put our eyes on You. So, Lord, thank You so much for Your great presence in our lives.
-
Thank You for Your peace and joy and for the eternal salvation.
-
Thank You for You, Lord. You are our Comforter, and we love You forever. Thank You for loving us, Lord, forever.
-
May your will be done always in every area of our lives. May everything go in our lives, homes and churches, according to Your righteous purpose, Lord.
-
May we all be Your obedient children and remain in Your love.
-
In Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.
