  1. I just want to lead you into a time of communion now.

  2. Can you remember going back to year six or seven?

  3. That's been a long time ago.

  4. Remember those science experiments where you had you put a magnet near a collection of iron filings, and that magnet will keep picking them up on and on and on.

  5. The magnet never loses its power over the iron filings.

  6. The magnet never loses its authority over the iron filings.

  7. The other thing that I thought, if I take out new insurance, they send me a legal document saying what they will do for me.

  8. And I'm just looking at Mark 14, 24 to 8.

  9. It says, Jesus says, This is my blood, which confirms a new covenant between God and His people.

  10. This is God's legal commitment to his people through his blood.

  11. And looked at eight things that God gives us through the blood of Jesus.

  12. There's probably so many more, but eight.

  13. There's forgiveness of sins.

  14. There's peace with God.

  15. We're transferred from enemies into friends with God.

  16. We have moved from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.

  17. We are united with Christ.

  18. Once we were far away, but now we have been brought close.

  19. As we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God.

  20. And lastly, thank you so much.

  21. Goody.

  22. There is no condemnation.

  23. That legal document gives us those things, and there's so many more that we could find.

  24. As we take the blood and the bread.

  25. Well, let us rejoice that we are legally committed in a covenant relationship with God and He gives us so much.

  26. Let's be grateful, let's rejoice in all that He gives us.

  27. And as you are taking the bread and the wine, I'll invite the worship team to come up there when it's appropriate for them.
