I'm gonna um lead us in communion.

What a great privilege it is to be able to um join together and take communion.

And um one of the things that it says about communion is that it's about doing it in remembrance of Jesus.

And um and I wonder, like when Jesus said that, do this in remembrance of me, of what he was thinking, you know.

There's so many aspects, isn't there, of Jesus to remember.

There's so like he's so huge, um, so multifaceted.

Um, and so I just wanna we're just gonna remember one little bit, or that's what I'm gonna focus on, just one little bit, and that is his coming back.

And um the book of Acts opens up with um the ascension of Jesus into heaven, and then in verse 10 it says, and while they, the disciples, were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes and said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven?

This Jesus who was taken up into heaven will come in the same way as you have seen him go into heaven.

And um it's like he he's gonna come.

I think like for me, sometimes I well often, really, is the truth.

Often I just get caught up in what do I have to do today?

Um, and but he's coming.

Like, what if I what if I thought every day he's coming?

And what if that thought every day he's coming governed what I was thinking about in that day?

Because he's coming.

Like that's what it says, his coming.

Um, and from um Corinthians, I received from the Lord what I deliver to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was portrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, This is my body which is for you.

Do this in remembrance of me.

In the same way he took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood.

Do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes, and he's coming.

So I just encourage you to take a few moments and to think about that his coming.

And we proclaim his death until his coming, but he's coming.

So I just encourage you to think about that his coming, and then when you're ready, eat the bread, his body broken for you, and drink the cup, the grape juice, his blood in remembrance of him.
