  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith.

  2. Message podcast from st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now enjoyed this message. We're talking out of Jude

  4. correct. And in Jude, he began to talk

  5. about what things were going to begin to look like in the last

  6. days, right? and in that, we recognize that

  7. Jude told us here in verse 20, I'm just going to jump right on

  8. into the word it says here in verse 20, but you beloved

  9. building yourselves up on your Most Holy Faith, praying in the

  10. Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the

  11. mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ until eternal life and some Have

  12. compassion making a difference and others save with fear.

  13. Pulling them out of the fire hating, even the Garment spotted

  14. with flesh or spotted by the flesh.

  15. Now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and to present

  16. you faultless before the presence of his glory, with

  17. exceeding Joy to the Y to the only wise God, our savior

  18. Saviour be glory and Majesty dominion and power both now and

  19. forever. So it's him.

  20. Who is able to keep us from falling?

  21. Why is this important? Because we know in Jude, we

  22. talked about last week that what triggered this whole thought

  23. process of ministering out of this scripture was when Pastor

  24. was ministering a few weeks ago and he said that the Will says

  25. that in the last days, it will be like the days of what Noah.

  26. The days of Noah and why is this important that we recognize,

  27. what was going on in the days of Noah?

  28. Because that's the signs of the times.

  29. You see that, okay? In, this was founded Matthew,

  30. right? And not only in Matthew, we

  31. looked at and talked about and speaking of the last days that

  32. in second, Timothy, he begins to talk to us.

  33. About what it's going to look like what people are going to be

  34. like right haters of God, selfish selfish ambition, you

  35. know all kinds of lists of things.

  36. So that when we are walking around in our daily lives among

  37. people, we recognize that people are going to look like this.

  38. They're going to act like this Jude talks about, they will mock

  39. you and scoff. You, you know, he lets us know

  40. what we can expect. And I love that about God is

  41. that he never would have left us here.

  42. Unaware of what was going to be happening, what was going to be

  43. taking place in the times towards the last days?

  44. Why does he not want us unaware? Because he doesn't Let us to

  45. fall into because we know we've talked about other scriptures

  46. that talk about in the last days that many are going to fall away

  47. from the faith, this is talking about Believers and I'm going to

  48. tell you now, being in the church for 31 years and I know

  49. there's been other people here longer that's probably been in

  50. the church but I've been in the church. 31 years now serving

  51. him. nine years in the church and I'm going to tell you, I am

  52. seeing on a rampid level especially because now we are

  53. involved with other pastors Across the Nation and around the

  54. world on an epidemic level of Christians that were once in the

  55. church for 30 years, falling away and saying they don't even

  56. believe God anymore and are living completely opposite

  57. lifestyles on Epidemic level. This is happening today.

  58. And I could name them one after one after one, we see in our

  59. society, the culture and what it looks like.

  60. And what's happening, even just this past few weeks, right?

  61. With what was going on with Roe versus Wade, you know, you can

  62. drive down A1A now and see a beautiful painting of do

  63. graffiti about, you know, we don't want laws that have

  64. anything to do with. Body, our choice, all these

  65. things, you know. So all these things are

  66. clashing, we are having culture clashes, right?

  67. We see people straight up hating.

  68. God hating law. He says, in the last day that we

  69. there's going to be lawlessness. Nobody wants laws and less.

  70. It can help them because the same people that are talking and

  71. screaming about my body, my choice.

  72. Are the very ones that would want law against someone that

  73. would rape them? Right.

  74. Come on. So we see the insanity happening

  75. on an epidemic level right now before our eyes.

  76. He lets us know that they're going to be haters of God,

  77. haters of God, you have people that will walk up into the

  78. houses of worship with a firearm and have no fear of God.

  79. Have no moral compass. To walk in and shoot up people.

  80. You see people walk in churches today, as I said, a huge church

  81. just happened. Last couple of maybe last month,

  82. took off their clothes started screaming as the, pastor is

  83. preaching, with red marks on there.

  84. You know, you've seen it guys, no, fear of God.

  85. Mocking God, mocking the church and we kind of think that this

  86. is just really just a political it has nothing to do with the

  87. political agendas. It has to do with an antichrist

  88. spirit. An antichrist Spirit, period,

  89. they are completely turning, you know, what is evil thinking,

  90. that it could be good and what is good now is evil, you see

  91. it's completely opposite and so he lets us know that in this day

  92. in this hour, that this is what things will look like.

  93. We don't have to be unaware. We should be able to discern.

  94. He actually says the Signs of the time he says you should

  95. discern the signs of the time and if you as a Christian can't

  96. discern, what is really going on?

  97. Because we've already said our battle is not against flesh and

  98. blood but it's against what principalities right, demonic

  99. forces. And agendas and And so, if

  100. you're here just to play Church, you know, you're not going to

  101. make it, you're going to be one of those that fall away.

  102. You're going to be. Because you're not going to be

  103. rooted in faith in actual your belief system.

  104. And what you believe, all right, you're going to get caught up in

  105. all of the world's voices but he lets us know that in Jude.

  106. One thing that we must be responsible for is to keep

  107. ourselves in the love of God. We are responsible to keep

  108. ourselves in the love of God. And this is not what the world

  109. says. Love Is Right Now.

  110. Love Is Love Is Love Is Love. This is not that type of love.

  111. God is love and he is agape. And that is what love is agape.

  112. Love is who God is and his nature K, it's who he is and so

  113. he lets us know that we must be the ones that are going to keep

  114. ourselves in this life. Love because listen it can be

  115. really easy to start coming against things that you're

  116. seeing on a daily basis and begin to start coming with a

  117. wrong motive and a wrong attitude towards people to wear

  118. your you get disgusted with people you start you can even

  119. start hating people what are you going to do when they come front

  120. you and and want to say whatever they want to say?

  121. Are you going to be like those that want to scream in your face

  122. and you've seen them on the news?

  123. Come on. So he lets us know this, this is

  124. the types of things that are going to be happening with

  125. people in this day. And but we're going to have to

  126. be responsible to keep ourselves in love because if we don't have

  127. love, the scripture says faith worketh by love.

  128. We will not be operating in faith at all in our lives.

  129. If we are not people that are going to keep our hearts pure,

  130. in a place of Love towards Another we were driving here

  131. today and in front of us was a car with all of these new mantra

  132. stickers on it, right? Black lives matter, you know, my

  133. body my choice, you know, love is love, you know, all the

  134. Mantra stickers on. Oh, and guess what was their tag

  135. save the turtles. But they want to murder the

  136. babies. See, the insanity.

  137. And so these are the types and we just began to pray for that

  138. person in the car that hit the eyes of their understanding

  139. would be enlightened and that the veil of Darkness would be

  140. removed from their eyes so that they could see the light of the

  141. gospel because they're blinded and they're groping around in

  142. darkness with the things of this world.

  143. And so he lets us know that that's the kind of heart you

  144. have to have when you see this when you When you see these

  145. attitudes, when you see the evil, the wickedness happening,

  146. our first response ought to be prayer.

  147. It ought to be, we need to pray for these individuals because

  148. that's going to keep us in a place that our heart is in love

  149. with God, and keep ourselves protected, and guarded from

  150. allowing us to take offense at it.

  151. Because we can't take offense at it.

  152. We cannot be people that take offense at anything because

  153. offenses will kill us. Amen.

  154. So, you know, we can have a righteous indignation, but

  155. that's always motivated by love, not hate, not vindictiveness,

  156. right? So, we have to make sure that in

  157. this last day, that we Nice, these things are happening and

  158. we have the responsibility to keep ourselves in the love of

  159. God, we talked about this last week that iniquity was going to

  160. abound and that the love of many could wax cold in this day and

  161. that that love their that is waxing.

  162. Cold has to do with Believers, not ungodly people.

  163. Our love can wax cold our love can wax cold and so we want to

  164. make sure that we are not these people and and that verse 13 out

  165. of Matthew 24, he says but he that will endure to the end.

  166. So this is what we're talking about if we're going to endure

  167. until the end, if we're going to be able to endure and stay

  168. strong in our faith and keep ourselves in a place.

  169. That we are ready for him when he returns.

  170. Then we are going to have to keep ourselves in the love of

  171. God. We are going to have to guard

  172. our hearts, with all diligence guarding it and keep it, he

  173. says, right. And we talked about what that

  174. meant to keep means to guard. It means to attend to, to take

  175. care of. This is the real self care.

  176. We need to be talking about as Believers.

  177. The taking care of our individual hearts.

  178. Because if our hearts have anything in it, that is against

  179. anyone. Come on.

  180. Period. So the self-care hashtag

  181. self-care. Needs to start right here in our

  182. hearts caring and tending for our hearts to make sure that we

  183. have nothing in it. That is not God has not already

  184. been able to be allowed to have full access in every area of our

  185. heart to bring healing. So that when We are in a

  186. position of wherever we're at in life.

  187. There's not going to be anything that would come out of a heart

  188. of a victim, a heart of unforgiveness, a heart of, oh,

  189. I've seen those people at like that so long, and they're Never

  190. Gonna Change. That's a wrong heart.

  191. So wrong heart. And so this is what we're

  192. talking about this taking care, the self care of our hearts is

  193. very vitally important, And that should be the number one thing

  194. we're caring for. He lets us know that out of our

  195. heart flows, the issues of life. If we are not to, he says to

  196. guard your hearts because out of it flows, the issues of life.

  197. And so if we want to make sure that we are not people that are

  198. having issues with ourselves and with others, than we're going to

  199. have to be those that guard and take care of our hearts.

  200. It also means to hold fast to, and to watch unto.

  201. So again, you watch your own heart, you guard your own heart,

  202. you take care of your own heart, Amen.

  203. So that we make sure that we are not going to wax cold.

  204. We're not going to have any offense in it towards anyone or

  205. anything going on. You know, there are good

  206. Christians that you know, spew hatred about political people.

  207. That's wrong. He tells us to pray for those.

  208. Pray for those it's wrong that we think we can talk about

  209. people and slander people. I don't care what all there on.

  210. We don't have that right as a believer.

  211. Because it will affect our heart, it will affect it.

  212. So he goes on to say, we talked about this that in Revelations.

  213. He told us again in Chapter 2 and verse 4 that you know, they

  214. had lost their. What First Love?

  215. They lost their first love. He talked about the Church of

  216. Ephesians or Ephesus Talking about the Church of Ephesus and

  217. he said that they had been doing good.

  218. They had been advancing, they were strong, they were doing

  219. great but they got caught up in what they were doing that they

  220. what forgot their first love and he had that against them.

  221. So we talked about the fact that we are going to have to keep

  222. ourselves in a place. In this last day that we stay

  223. focused on guarding our hearts and making sure that our passion

  224. for him. Is the very first thing.

  225. That's the most important thing in our lives is that we are

  226. loving God first more than anything else, more than our

  227. jobs, more than our families more than our kids, right?

  228. More than our vacations more than our money, we are to love

  229. him more. He tells us we are to love him

  230. with all of our heart, all of our strength, all of our might.

  231. And that that Should be a passion, a passionate love a

  232. passionate love for him. And so he we talked about that.

  233. If we were going to keep ourselves in the love of God in

  234. the last days than we were going to have to what make sure that

  235. we are not caught up in the cares of this life.

  236. The distractions, all these voices are distractions Ins to

  237. get you caught up in them and caught up in things so that it

  238. pulls you away from your love. It pulls you away from you and

  239. your relationship with the Lord. And so he let us know that that

  240. he told us here, let me read this Mark for 19, he says, the

  241. cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and the

  242. lust. For other things entering in

  243. will choke the word out and it will become unfruitful.

  244. So he, we talked about last week, that cares of this, life

  245. is the number one thing that we have to make sure that we are

  246. guarding against and not allowing all of these things

  247. going on in our lives. Because that was what was

  248. happening in the day of Noah, they were given unto marriage.

  249. They were, you know, doing all these things.

  250. You know, I've got this to do this, to do.

  251. It said they were, they were so distracted.

  252. With all of these things. Right?

  253. And that's how it was and the day of Noah.

  254. And so let us know that if we are going to keep ourselves in a

  255. place on fire for God and in love with him, then we're going

  256. to have to make sure that we don't get caught up in the

  257. distractions of this world, because what happens, it begins

  258. to choke you out. It begins to choke the word of

  259. God out of you because you slip on reading your Bible, you slip

  260. on your prayer time. You slip on taking time to be in

  261. the house of the Lord, because you're busy, you know, working

  262. and, and doing trips and go in here and going there.

  263. And you're so distracted that all of a sudden, you realize,

  264. man, I haven't read my Bible in three weeks.

  265. What's happened at slowly? Just choking the word out of

  266. you, right? That's what it talked about.

  267. Remember I mentioned Martha, oh, Martha Martha.

  268. She was so anxious and worried about and concerned about all

  269. the things going on that day. That Jesus was in her house.

  270. She was caught up in all the distractions that the very

  271. things she needed to be doing was what spending time.

  272. In his presence spending time with him because he was there

  273. among them, right? And so, it's important that we

  274. recognize, but I want to look at we also read the scripture out

  275. of Luke and this is really where I want to start tonight.

  276. Luke 21 34. So in Jude, he tells us that we

  277. are going to have to write keep ourselves in the love of God,

  278. and And in Luke, I read this and it said this, take heed to

  279. yourselves the word, take heed to yourselves.

  280. This is that self-care Take heed to yourself care for yourself,

  281. take key to it, right? I could have just titled this

  282. self-care. I guess.

  283. I don't know why I'm camping on that because I'm just really

  284. tired of seeing all the hashtags about it because this is

  285. self-care right here. This is self-care and so he says

  286. this, he says take heed to yourselves and that same word

  287. take heed means also to keep and Guard.

  288. So you take heat heed to yourselves.

  289. You keep you guard, yourselves, lest any at any time, your

  290. hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and

  291. what the cares of this life. And so that the day comes upon,

  292. you unaware. Now, that was in the King James

  293. version. Reading that I want to read it

  294. out of The New American Standard Version.

  295. And I want to go to verse 36 be on guard so that your hearts

  296. will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and

  297. the worries of life and that day will come on, you suddenly like

  298. a trap for it will come upon all of those that dwell on the face

  299. of the Earth, all the Earth. Keep on alert at all times

  300. praying that you may have strength to escape all these

  301. things that are about to take place and to stand before the

  302. son of man. So he says, listen you best be

  303. on guard? Which is the same word that he

  304. said in Jude, he must take heed to yourselves.

  305. Keep and attend to one's self is what it means.

  306. All right, I say this is God's self care and help plan care for

  307. and attend be attentive to yourself is what it means.

  308. Hold to your mind, pay attention, pay attention, please

  309. to what is happening in this, This world.

  310. Pay attention. But he goes on to say, pay

  311. attention be cautious about and apply oneself to, to be given

  312. to. So that's what he means, by be

  313. on guard, keep yourselves it. All means that and it has to do

  314. with, not only you and being in a position to take care of your

  315. heart and yourself. But also it deals with you and

  316. Mind. Because we know this is where

  317. the devils. Playing field is his playing

  318. field is to get in your mind and get your mind.

  319. So, distracted, with the cares of this life, the busyness,

  320. everything that you are doing, and you have to do that, you

  321. get. So and actually when you break

  322. and we're going to break it down.

  323. So go down. It says so that you get so

  324. distracted, you get weighted down You get so weighted down

  325. with all that you're doing, you get so distracted with

  326. everything that's going on from having to work, take care of

  327. your children, cook clean, you know, whatever it is, whatever

  328. it is, that everybody does on a daily basis.

  329. And everybody. Some people are working two and

  330. three jobs, but we get so weighted down, we get so

  331. distracted with everything that we're doing and get get to a

  332. place where we just feel burnt out or drained or weighted down,

  333. right? That we don't want to do

  334. anything. We don't even have time to read

  335. our Bible. Listen, we've been there.

  336. Been there. It's, you got to get yourself

  337. out of that cycle and get yourself in being a diss self

  338. disciplined person. A self disciplined person to say

  339. that I am going to do these things before I get distracted

  340. with anything else before. Anything else.

  341. I've got to do these things. All right, because if not, we're

  342. going to get weighted down. Alright, let me tell you what

  343. weighted down means. It means burdened.

  344. And I see people coming in. Weighted down there, just burden

  345. with everything they got going on.

  346. Right. Hallelujah.

  347. And then he goes on to say with this dissipation.

  348. Now dissipation has to do with really carousing and drunkenness

  349. and almost like a stupor. And he goes on and says

  350. drunkenness. And when you look up

  351. drunkenness, it literally is talking about drunk with wine,

  352. so I don't even know why in the world.

  353. There's so many pastors that think it's okay to be drinking.

  354. I still just don't even understand it.

  355. When it clearly clearly when you look it up in the Greek tells

  356. you exactly what that means. Right.

  357. So he goes on to say that word. Dispensation is light is a

  358. Lorene intoxication. You get so intoxicated in your

  359. mind with all the cares, you understand what I'm saying?

  360. All the cares, all the things going on in in your life.

  361. You get so consumed with it, you get so intoxicated with it that

  362. it learns you away from the word from him, from your relationship

  363. with the world. That were with the Lord.

  364. It lures you a way that you become intoxicated with all

  365. these cares. How many of you been there?

  366. You let your mind go ramp it on the million things you got to

  367. do? I mean, you can get into your

  368. mind. Can be like, whoa, swimming.

  369. That's what it's talking about. and then when he talks about

  370. that, it also means as if you've got a headache, I want to say

  371. like a hangover A headache. It literally says it when you

  372. look it up. Like a headache.

  373. Your head is a key with all the things swarming around in your

  374. mind, all the cares, all the things you've got going on, all

  375. the busyness, all these things that's happening, you get a

  376. headache from it. Your head is swarming, you get

  377. intoxicated with it. You are like you have a hangover

  378. the next day and you can't even function Which also entails you

  379. can no longer be sober-minded. You're not sober minded.

  380. This is one meaning of when he says to keep your mind sober.

  381. So I know many people that may not drink but their mind is not

  382. sober because they're drowning in done.

  383. Bridled Mind games. Right?

  384. The mind playing games on them, you know, all the things going

  385. on, in their mind, the worries, the cares, the anxiety, the

  386. anxiousness? I mean, have we not heard that

  387. term? Like never before anxiety,

  388. anxiety, anxiety, anxiety. This is the cure for your

  389. anxiety. This is the cure actually, when

  390. you look up in my Bible, it says in Matthew 6, the Don't love it.

  391. The cure for anxiety and worry. Yet we have so many people so

  392. anxious right now in our world. So worried so weighted down,

  393. right? Listen and we can't get caught

  394. up in it. So drunkenness, it literally is

  395. talking about being drunk, right?

  396. So you're getting, you know, drunk on the cares of this life

  397. and on the worries and on all the things you're getting drunk

  398. on wine. No wonder.

  399. We've got all kinds of things happening in the churches today.

  400. Right. Come on, I'm being real.

  401. I'm being really real because I really don't want to lose

  402. anyone. You know, I was thinking about

  403. this and I didn't know if I, the Lord, would let me say it.

  404. But I guess he will. I was, you know, doing my walk

  405. and my wonderful preserve today in my prayer time.

  406. Because it wasn't in the middle of the day.

  407. For those of you that may not know, I did share a little bit

  408. about that preserve on Sunday morning prayer.

  409. But anyway, I was walking today and and thinking about how bold

  410. we need to be in this day and in this hour that we're living

  411. because of the boldness, that is being spewed.

  412. And people's faces today and the Lord spoke to me and said and

  413. you need to be, I said, Lord, how are we going to get to this

  414. generation? I'm tired of seeing, I just got

  415. another phone called this very week of a you know, good

  416. Christian kid, getting sent naked, pictures of another girl.

  417. I and I was disgusted thinking. I am, what is it going to take

  418. for us to deal with this happening in this generation?

  419. I was getting indignant and he said, the righteous are as bold

  420. as a lion. He said, but you're not a lion,

  421. you're a lioness and you go for the jugular.

  422. Lioness kill the prey and they bring the meat to the lion.

  423. That's what he said to me. You're a lioness.

  424. You go for the jugular, you go for the prey and that's the only

  425. thing that's going to push back. That darkness is if you rise up

  426. and starts laying that in the spirit, And that's what it's

  427. going to take because I'm tired of seeing this generation being

  428. intoxicated and actually when you look up that word

  429. dispensation at has to do with a sexual allurement as well, and

  430. I'm tired of seeing them. Get intoxicated with this sexual

  431. perversion, that was Unleashed on our nation on our Capital.

  432. The day, the rainbow was lit up on it.

  433. There was a spirit release stronger than ever in our nation

  434. and it is taking out good, good kids.

  435. He said you go for the jugular. Because you slay, the pray.

  436. You are the one. Amen.

  437. So I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it in the

  438. spirit. I'm going to push back that

  439. Spirit of Darkness over this generation.

  440. And how many women are going to do it with me, I want you to

  441. just stand up, stand up because I'm going to hold you to it,

  442. we're going to push back that Spirit that's trying to take our

  443. children. This generation.

  444. We're going to push it back. Amen.

  445. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father, lift your

  446. hands, father. You see these that are here that

  447. are going to be in agreement with us that we're going to push

  448. back that demonic Spirit. That's trying to come in into

  449. our children's lives. We're going to push it back.

  450. We're going to be in agreement that it has to go and it's not

  451. going to happen in this house. Hallelujah.

  452. Hallelujah. We need to get bold, guys.

  453. Because I'm tired of seeing it happen every single day.

  454. Every single day. Amen.

  455. So this sexual intoxication as well.

  456. That's what it means. When you look it up.

  457. So, we have to be people that recognize, what is the reality

  458. of what is happening in the hour that we're living and God, we

  459. are the only ones that God can use to deal with it.

  460. We're the only ones, no, one else, no government official can

  461. deal with the wickedness that is going on in our nation.

  462. We are the only ones that can deal with it.

  463. We have a responsibility. Need to deal with it.

  464. This is off the message but I'm telling you, we have a

  465. responsibility and we're going to be held accountable.

  466. We're going to be held accountable. if we just let this

  467. thing have this generation, Not on my watch.

  468. Hallelujah. Not when he let me know who I

  469. was. I'm going for the jugular, we're

  470. taking them out. Amen.

  471. Hallelujah, anyway, let's try to get back on my notes so we'll be

  472. all good. Hallelujah.

  473. So that's what it means, Kerry's worries and anxieties and life.

  474. The distractions of life is there.

  475. For one purpose, to choke the word of God, out of your life to

  476. get you. So caught up, what did he say?

  477. It was like he said, it will come on you like a trap.

  478. The one translation said in verse 34 again and The New

  479. American Standard, he said and that day will not come on.

  480. You suddenly like a trap. If you don't let these things

  481. get get you off, right. So what is he talking about here

  482. suddenly like a trap. What happens is when we get

  483. caught up into these things, we get so distracted, it's like

  484. this trap. It's actually like an animal

  485. trap, a trap that's at and the animal obviously gets trapped in

  486. it, right? There's a trap that the enemy is

  487. trying to lure you away with the cares and the things of this

  488. life drunkenness, dispensation carousing around.

  489. He's trying to get us caught up into all of these things so that

  490. he can actually it is a trap. It is a trap, this is his trap

  491. when you read it, it says an alluring sensual drawing to sin.

  492. And that's how he Alors you in and you're in it.

  493. And then all of a sudden you realize I'm in a trap and I

  494. can't get out. I'm stuck.

  495. How many I know that got stuck in a sin.

  496. Because they got lured away again by it and then all of a

  497. sudden now they're trapped is too strong, hold come on and

  498. they feel there's no way out. They've been trapped by him by

  499. the Devil, by allowing those things to come into their life

  500. and not keeping their hearts guarding.

  501. Their hearts not allowing themselves to be entangled, or

  502. it also means a noose around your neck.

  503. You're going to be choked out in that.

  504. What he said with the cares of this life, deceitfulness of

  505. riches, it will choke you out. And actually, I saw a picture of

  506. a python, you know? I think it's really creepy when

  507. people carry around pythons and snakes because the only thing

  508. good for a snake is for its head to come off.

  509. So it really freaks me out. When people are walking around

  510. with these things wrapped around, and letting them lay in

  511. the beds with their Ed's and all kinds of stupid stuff.

  512. Anyway, a snake is a snake as a snake and it was cursed in

  513. anything that was cursed. I don't want on me around me.

  514. Near me. It was cursed by God.

  515. That's why nobody ought to be being friends with it.

  516. Anyway, he gave me a picture of this snake.

  517. This python, you know, all there at all friendly and wrapped

  518. around your body until all of a sudden, they start squeezing and

  519. squeezing a little bit more and squeeze in a little bit more and

  520. then you are trapped in choked out and you Can't breathe and

  521. how many people get so caught up in things?

  522. So trapped in things, caught up, slowly a luring them into

  523. things, they can do, it won't matter this time.

  524. Oh, nobody knows this time. Oh, I won't get caught this time

  525. and they get trapped in and choked out.

  526. It's a noose around their own neck, right?

  527. And so he lets us know that the only thing this trap is there

  528. for is to kill. It's for loss, it's for

  529. Destruction. Amen.

  530. And that's what we know. His only agenda is to come, the

  531. devil came to what kill steal and destroy, and that's what

  532. happens if we don't take heed self-care.

  533. Come on, take care of our hearts, keep our play rpr,

  534. ourself in a position that we are guarding this heart with

  535. everything because we're not going to allow anything to

  536. distract us or keep us away. From our relationship with the

  537. Lord. Amen.

  538. So he also says this, that we must be what sober-minded, look

  539. at 1st Thessalonians. This is a new scripture first

  540. Thessalonians everybody doing all right 5 first Thessalonians

    1 Thessalonians 5 chapter mention

  541. chapter 5 6 through 8 says this. So then let us not sleep as

  542. others do, but let us be on alert.

  543. Out, and sober for those who sleep do, they're sleeping at

  544. night and those who get drunk get drunk at night.

  545. But since we are of the day, let us be sober having put on the

  546. breastplate of faith and love as a helmet and the hope of our

  547. Salvation. So he lets us know that.

  548. In this day, we must be people that are sober, minded, I think

  549. I skipped ahead. But anyway, we ought to be

  550. people that are sober minded 1st Corinthians 15.

  551. He says, listen become sober minded as you ought and stop

  552. sinning for some have no knowledge of God.

  553. But I speak this to your shame. So he lets us know.

  554. Some people don't have any knowledge of God but he speaks

  555. it to your shame. We ought to be people that are

  556. sober minded because we know God, We know God, we ought to be

  557. sober-minded, we ought to be alert.

  558. We ought to be awakened. We ought to know and discern the

  559. signs of the times and what's going on and and ask the Lord

  560. for wisdom and knowledge in how to navigate with our family,

  561. with our work with people, how to navigate our everyday so that

  562. we don't get caught up into distractions that are going on.

  563. Man, we are responsible. He lets us know to be

  564. sober-minded. Not only sober-minded, first

    1 Peter 5:8

  565. Peter 5:8 says that we must be sober of spirit.

  566. So what does this mean? We must keep ourselves

  567. spiritually into. Spiritually alert, right?

  568. He says be on alert, your adversary.

  569. The devil is prowling around like a roaring lion seeking

  570. someone to devour. He's prowling around looking for

  571. an opportunity for you to let him in.

  572. To lower you in so that he can get you off, get you trapped and

  573. take you out. And we have to be spiritually

  574. alert enough to know what is happening and what is going on

  575. around us and and be able to discern good and evil.

  576. Amen. Now, look at First Peter, five

  577. and seven. How do we deal with all of the

  578. cares? All of the worries?

  579. All of the anxiety. I mean, people are already, you

  580. know, worried about gas prices. People are already worried about

  581. food shortages. People are already worried about

  582. monkeypox. People are already worried and

  583. caught up and anxious about. Yeah.

  584. Monkey paw. She'll know.

  585. That's the new one, all of these things.

  586. I mean people are worried fearful caught up in all these

  587. things people are. I mean I know people that's

  588. already bought thirty thousand dollars worth of food and

  589. stopped it. this is a true statement, a Yes.

  590. Yes, it's true. People are already.

  591. That's why the supply train is. They're buying up all the stop

  592. anyway. People are worried about all of

  593. these things and we have the answers.

  594. We have the answer to do. You know what the answer is?

  595. It is found in Matthew 6:25. This is what he tells me is the

    Matthew 6:25

  596. cure for anxiety. He said this, I tell you I'm

  597. going to read it out of the passion.

  598. This I tell you to Never Say, Never Say Never say never be

  599. worried about life. That's in a fatik statement.

  600. He says never to be worried about your life for all that you

  601. need will be provided such as food water clothing, which is

  602. what everyone is working for. Everything your body needs is it

  603. there? More to lie?

  604. Isn't there more to your life than a meal?

  605. Is it your body more than clothing?

  606. Consider the birds. Do you think they are worried

  607. about their existence? They don't plant or reap or

  608. store up food yet your heavenly father provides for them.

  609. Each with food aren't you much more valuable to your father

  610. than they? So Which one of you by worrying

  611. can add anything to your life and why would you worry, right?

  612. Why would you worry about your clothing?

  613. Look at the beautiful flowers of the field.

  614. They don't work or tool and yet, not even Solomon, in all his

  615. Splendor was robed in Beauty like one of these.

  616. And he was robed Solomon. Had it all.

  617. He had it all and he's saying these flowers are more beautiful

  618. than what Solomon had. It says so if God has closed the

  619. meadow with hey, which is here for such a short time and that's

  620. where we're at realizing. That we are life is but a vapor

  621. and we're not to look at the scene but the Unseen and that

  622. should be our Focus, but we're all caught up in the day and and

  623. what we see. But he says listen, he says he

  624. says, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and

  625. burnt, won't he provide for you the clothes, you need.

  626. You of little so when you're worried about your food about

  627. your clothes, about what you're going to do with all these

  628. things, You have little faith in God.

  629. Is it that? What?

  630. That just said, you of little faith?

  631. He goes on to say, he says, let me find where either.

  632. So then forsake your worries, forsake your worries, don't

  633. forsake God, forsake, your worries.

  634. So many people are forsaking God for all of these things of this

  635. world, that is choking them out. They are forsaking.

  636. God for their jobs for the money, come on for the things,

  637. for all the things that are going on there, forsaking God,

  638. and he says, don't forsake God, forsake those worries, forsake

  639. those things. He says, listen why would you

  640. say what will we eat? Or what will we drink?

  641. Or what will we wear for? That is what the unbelievers

  642. chase after. So what the unbelievers chase

  643. after. But we're supposed to be

  644. Believers. Doesn't your heavenly father

  645. already know the things? Your bodies require.

  646. So above all constantly seek God's kingdom and his

  647. righteousness. Then all of these things, what

  648. these important things will be given to you abundantly refused.

  649. They refused say refuse, say refused refused to worry about

  650. tomorrow. But deal with each challenge,

  651. that comes your way. One day at a time tomorrow,

  652. we'll take care of its self. This is the cure for your

  653. anxiety. How about this?

  654. Just don't do it. Don't do it, don't be anxious.

  655. Don't be worried, don't take a care.

  656. Actually, he lets us know that self-care would be what casting

  657. all of our cares upon Him? Here it is psalm 55:22.

    Psalms 55:22

  658. This was one of my favorite scriptures about now.

  659. Wow, 20 years ago, when I was in Ramah.

  660. This is one of the scriptures, the lord gave me.

  661. Twenty years ago. Because 20 years ago, I wasn't

  662. where I act today. When we get to Rhema and we have

  663. no money and no house, come on and someone stole the little bit

  664. of cash, we did have. Cast your cares on the Lord.

  665. This is the scripture I stood on.

  666. And he will sustain you, you cast those anxieties those

  667. worries, those cares on him and he's the one that can sustain

  668. you through it all because he is faithful because he is faithful,

  669. he will sustain you actually, when you look up that word, I

  670. still know it by heart, he will uphold you, he will support you.

  671. He will never let you be. Brought down.

  672. And when you look up that word support and take care of you, it

  673. actually means everything. You need everything you need.

  674. That's what that word sustain means.

  675. He will sustain you with anything and everything.

  676. If you just cast that care, that worried that anxiety on him, he

  677. will never let the righteous be shaken.

  678. He'll never let the righteous be shaken.

  679. And then in First Peter, 5 7 and 8.

  680. See that's why, how good God is. It's not just one scripture.

  681. There's multiple scriptures for your can cure for anxiety and

  682. worry and care. And this is how you guard your

  683. heart. This is how you guard your

  684. heart. This is how you take care of

  685. your heart. This is how you take heed to

  686. yourself by making sure that you're giving him that care and

  687. you're not burdened down with it and weighted down with it.

  688. And being intoxicated with. What am I gonna do?

  689. What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do?

  690. I'm gonna write how are we going to do this?

  691. Just it it up. No, I'm just cast that on him

  692. because he cares for me and whatever I need.

  693. He's got it and he's going to bring it because he delivers me

  694. out of all of my troubles, he always does always has because

  695. he is faithful. So first, Peter 5, 7 & 8, says

  696. this casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.

  697. These ought to be two scriptures that you have highlighted wrote

  698. down because I'm going to tell you every day, just like he

  699. said, there's gonna be a day for worries, but he tells you to

  700. refuse them and this is how you refuse them by casting them on

  701. him by giving him those cares. And saying, father, you, you saw

  702. where we would be and what would be lacking before we even knew

  703. it was going to be lacking. You already saw it.

  704. You already knew it and you care for me.

  705. Amen, he cares for us, he cares for you.

  706. And he goes on in verse 8 and say, be sober in spirit and be

  707. on alert for your adversary. The devil prowls around, like a

  708. roaring lion seeking, who he may devour.

  709. Amen. How about this one?

  710. And our last scripture, I'm going to read.

  711. Philippians 4. Six through eight, this ought to

  712. be another one that's highlighted in your Bible be

  713. anxious for but in everything through prayer and supplication

  714. with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

  715. And that's what I just said. Father, I thank you that you

  716. care for me more than anything else.

  717. You love me. You said in your word, not to

  718. worry. About a thing.

  719. So you know what? Lord, I'm not going to worry

  720. about a thing. I'm not going to do it.

  721. I'm going to give it to you. You're going to take care of it

  722. because you care for me. I don't know how you're going to

  723. do it. But you are the Waymaker.

  724. Come on. You're the Waymaker.

  725. You make away. Come on.

  726. When there seems to be no other way, you are.

  727. The one that can deliver? Come on, deliver the Israelites

  728. in the middle of a sea. He made a way for deliverance.

  729. He made a way of Escape he said, hit that there would never be a

  730. thing that you could be going through that.

  731. He couldn't get you out of and give you a way of an escape.

  732. Amen, because he cares for you. But the number one qualification

  733. is, is you've got to give it to him instead of giving it to the

  734. prayer chain and giving it to, you know, so-and-so to help you.

  735. And Give it, no, give it to God because he's the one that cares

  736. for you. He's the one that wants to take

  737. care of you. He's the one that wants to show

  738. you his goodness and show you his Deliverance.

  739. Amen. And he says all you have to do

  740. is cast it on me. All you have to do is give me

  741. these worries, give me these anxieties.

  742. Give me these cares so that what is going to happen when you do

  743. that then? Your heart.

  744. Come on. It's not going to be weighted

  745. down. Your heart is not going to be in

  746. any position that you're trying to manipulate people for the

  747. money. Or whatever else the

  748. circumstance, maybe, or put pressure on somebody that they

  749. need to do something for you. Come on.

  750. No, I'm going to give this to God first, and then I'm going to

  751. ask him to lead me and guide me and speak to me.

  752. And what I need to do, if there's anything I need to do,

  753. if there's nothing I need to do then all I need to do is trust

  754. him. Trust him and be in a position

  755. of faith and expectation that he will show me the way of Escape,

  756. he will show me what I need to do to get out of the situation.

  757. Verse 7 says and the peace of God see he connects the anxious

  758. heart or the anxiousness to people that are so anxious.

  759. They don't have peace in their life.

  760. They don't have peace when they're worried about everything

  761. when they're caring about everything, when they're anxious

  762. about everything, there's no peace.

  763. Because true faith will bring rest and written, where there's

  764. true rest in faith. There's peace.

  765. So, you don't have to be twiddling your thumbs.

  766. You can just have peace, demeanor.

  767. You don't have to get all upset. You don't have to get

  768. distraught. You don't have to get emotional.

  769. We will have emotions, but we don't have to let those emotions

  770. rule in the moment. Because we can have peace if

  771. we've given it to God and trust that he's going to take care of

  772. it. And then he goes on to say which

  773. surpasses all comprehension. You don't know how you don't

  774. know how God does it, but he does it.

  775. You don't know how he always comes through.

  776. But he does, you don't understand all of how he

  777. navigates things that, you know, you need and it gets to you, you

  778. don't Stand at all but he does. And listen, you don't have to

  779. know. It says then it will guard your

  780. hearts and your minds. You see that is connected to

  781. your mind as well so therefore you ought to be sober in your

  782. mind. Meaning you should not let all

  783. these worries concerns. All these things be so

  784. intoxicated that it's getting you so emotional.

  785. From day to day, that you are swarming around and can't even

  786. make a decision. Can't even function have to take

  787. your Xanax. Come on.

  788. Eat them like candy today. People do.

  789. And this is why this is the answer, this is what people need

  790. and we must be demonstrating this in our own lives for us to

  791. let people see that the word of God, and the power of God works.

  792. Then he says, finally, Brethren whatever is true, whatever is

  793. Honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is

  794. lovely, whatever is good repute if there are any excellence and

  795. if anything, worthy of praise, These are the things that you're

  796. to dwell on because when you have the gas prices, going up

  797. and food, shortages, and chain supply demands, and all these

  798. things going on, you can start meditating and getting so

  799. focused on all those things. Come on, but he lets us know.

  800. We ought to be dwelling on things that are good.
