Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith.

Message podcast from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now enjoy this message. I have a great word that I felt
-
the lord gave us verts and I and you know but we want to move
-
with him. We want to do exactly what he
-
Wants to do and I had sensed in my spirit that he may have
-
wanted to do something a little different tonight because just
-
because it's Wednesday, don't mean, he can't move.
-
Hey, men. And if there's ever a day that
-
we need him to move, I believe it's on a Wednesday.
-
We need to just be led by him and let him refresh us and do
-
whatever he needs to do. Amen.
-
Because he knows what we need, most of all, and when we come to
-
the house of the Lord, because you're committed and submitted
-
to the leadership and pastors and you know, teachers and
-
Apostle, you know, Pastor Earle is an apostle, you know, then
-
you know, the holy It is going to use these five, fold
-
Ministries gifts to be able to equip the Saints, but not only
-
equip. The Saints feed the Saints.
-
What they need? Amen, give them exactly what
-
they need. You know, the scripture says
-
that he was looking for Shepherds after his own heart,
-
that would feed his sheep. Feed his sheep.
-
So that means those Shepherds have to know what season of food
-
and what type of food people need, you know, and Being
-
refreshed in the Holy Ghost is part of his food.
-
Amen. It's part of his food and we
-
need it. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. We need it.
-
And we need it even more in these days and not only that,
-
it's equipping, the Saints. So what does that mean?
-
Equipping the Saints on how to release and practice and
-
activate the gift within It right?
-
It's not just about, you know, the preaching of the word.
-
Of course, the word has to come in line moment, right?
-
And the alignment was, is the kingdom of God is not just
-
eating and drinking, but what righteousness, peace and joy,
-
where joy in your self-care joy in your vacation joy.
-
In the massage, joy in whatever it is.
-
No joy in the Holy Ghost. Ghost, this is true.
-
Joy. This is joy unspeakable, joy.
-
Come on and full of Glory. So This Joy the world can't give
-
it to you, you know, there's a song.
-
This joy that I have the world, come on, sing it.
-
Y'all are sounded good like a choir.
-
Can it take it away? You can give it to him.
-
Right. So coming in sometimes we just
-
need to practice it so that when you're out and about in your
-
everyday, walk with the Lord, you know, how to tap into it and
-
I just we just showed you how to tap into it.
-
Amen. And the thing about it is is you
-
don't need the band to help you tap into it.
-
Because you can open up your mouth and begin to sing a new
-
song. A song in the spirit Colossians
-
says write a melody in your heart whatever and then you can
-
begin to release the tongues the Heavenly language.
-
Come on, that gift to be able to then continue to feel you and
-
give you exactly what you need through the day.
-
So that nothing has to steal your joy.
-
Nothing Has to steal it. Amen.
-
Because we, you know, we believe that the devil, you know, you
-
need to say, he can't steal from me any longer.
-
He can't steal from my family. He can't steal from my kids.
-
He can't come on. He can't still love from my
-
heart. He can't still Joy from me.
-
He can't. We've got to say that and
-
believe it in these circumstances and situations
-
that are arising in our everyday lives.
-
Amen, hallelujah. Well, I just, we'll just have a
-
little bit of time left tonight, but I do want to minister what I
-
felt. The lord gave me to share on and
-
I don't know what direction it will go since.
-
It's all into all kinds of directions tonight.
-
So you know, the last time I ministered, I ministered at a
-
Jude 120. Through 21 and we said this.
-
But you beloved building. Yourselves up on your Most, Holy
-
Faith. Praying in the Holy Ghost, isn't
-
that something? So we talked about building our
-
self up on our Most. Holy Faith.
-
First comes from the word of God, right?
-
Because faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of
-
God. So, the first way we build
-
ourselves, Is up on our faith is being in the word.
-
Reading, the word meditating in the word, right?
-
Making sure that we're having our daily bread that intake of
-
the word of God. But then he goes on to say.
-
What did we just do praying in the holy spirit.
-
So just as we exercise tonight, as we began to pray in the
-
spirit. What happened?
-
You began to get what built up. Did you feel a release?
-
Right. Did you feel, you know, Joy did
-
you feel full of the spirit and like, okay, I'm alive.
-
Yeah, cuz you came in probably dead from work or whatever.
-
The case may be, you know, right?
-
Tired, you know whatever you may have got bad news on your way in
-
the door you know whatever the situation may be.
-
But we just exercised how you can also build yourself up and
-
that is praying in the spirit. Amen.
-
Praying in the spirit anyway. So in verse 21 we really focused
-
on this. Keeping yourself in the love of
-
God. Waiting anxiously for the mercy
-
of the Lord Jesus Christ to eternal glory, keeping yourself
-
in the love of God. So we came out of this scripture
-
talking about in the last days you know there's going to be all
-
kinds of people. There's going to be all kinds of
-
things happening but he lets us know.
-
As Believers, we are going to have to be people that are going
-
to keep ourselves in the love of God, right?
-
And we talked about that last Last Wednesday night that we are
-
responsible for putting love on putting Love On, We're
-
responsible for that. And before that we talked about
-
loving the Lord, with all of our heart, making sure that our
-
passion for him is still there. You know that we're passionate
-
in love with him, right? Because if we are, then we are
-
going to be people that will keep ourselves in the love of
-
God. And this is important in the
-
last days. but as I was looking at this, Because, you know, that
-
Wednesday night, I kind of tapped into faith and love Faith
-
and love. And so, I want to go towards
-
faith and love again tonight, but in a different direction.
-
Okay, Faith and love, you know, we said that Let's go to
-
Galatians 3:11. Now that, no one is justified by
-
the law before. God is evident for the righteous
-
man. What shall live by faith?
-
Is there any righteous in here? That means you're born.
-
Again, you've been made the righteousness of God in Christ.
-
Raise your hand, if you're born again your righteous, that's
-
what he calls you. So now, he lets, you know how
-
you are. To live and you are to live by
-
faith your to live by faith. This is not just faith in God or
-
that. I believe there's a God no as a
-
Believer now that I have faith in God and that he's given me,
-
the god kind of Faith. Now he expects that Faith to be
-
what lived out. Lived out in our life every day
-
and we live by that Faith. What is we live by that firm
-
persuasion? We live by that conviction of
-
faith in Christ that we believe we live by it.
-
We make our decisions by it right.
-
Whatever he says in his word determines the decisions that we
-
should be living by, right? So if he says, you know that You
-
know, you shouldn't be shacked up together, right?
-
Then as a Believer, what he expects is that to live by
-
faith. Meaning.
-
I'm not gonna do what his word tells me not to do because if I
-
don't, I'm not living by faith. I'm not living by what I
-
believe, right? So we so, you see, he expects us
-
to be living this thing out every single day.
-
Every Every decision that we make everything that we do, we
-
should be what living by faith. We should be asking the Lord
-
every decision that we're making.
-
What is it that you want us to do?
-
Lord, I want to be in faith in this situation, right?
-
I want to be in faith in every decision that I'm making, right?
-
So it's not just, there's a God and we have faith in a god, you
-
understand. This is to be lived out every
-
day in our life. So, Hebrews 10:38 and 39 says
-
this, but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks
-
back, my soul has no pleasure in him.
-
But we are not those who will shrink back to destruction, but
-
of those who have faith to persevering of the Soul, you see
-
that? So he's letting us know.
-
That we are to live by faith, but if we shrink back then, are
-
that he's going to have no pleasure in it.
-
No pleasure in it so we can't be people.
-
And what happened? We said that in the last days,
-
many are going to what fall away from the faith.
-
And so this means that just because you may have been in
-
faith in one season of your life, does it mean that you
-
could be in it in the next season?
-
You could have shrunk back from it?
-
So we need to be people that are always asking.
-
Sales. Okay, am I in faith in this
-
right, am I in faith? You know, it's just like Pastor
-
Earle has mentioned, you know, when it came to this mall, you
-
know, everybody. Oh yeah, pastor, we can do it.
-
We can get it that it added, ah, but he had to go find for
-
himself. Am I in faith?
-
Right? I meant Faith but I am I in
-
faith for this project you see what I'm saying?
-
So everything that you're doing, are you being a person?
-
That's actively asking the Lord. Okay, am I in faith in this
-
situation or that scenario because we are to what live by
-
it. Now we said this, I quoted it in
-
one of our other Wednesday night.
-
So I want to reiterate it Galatians 5:6.
-
It says this, for if, in Christ Jesus, there's neither
-
circumcision. Nor uncircumcision means
-
anything. But what faith?
-
Working by love Faith working by love.
-
So faith and love are inseparable.
-
They're Inseparable, they cannot be separated and a part of each
-
other. They're Inseparable.
-
We can't look at them as two different things.
-
No faith in love only operate together, only operate together
-
so you can say you're in faith but not be walking in love with
-
someone. And guess what?
-
Not going to work your faith. It's not gonna work because they
-
work together simultaneously. They work together, period.
-
You cannot separate the two. Many people try to separate it.
-
Many people say they're in faith about a lot of things, but yet,
-
we know, they have aught in their heart, towards their
-
Brethren, or they have some type of something going on and
-
they're not in a place of love. And this is his kind of love.
-
His definition of love, not, love is love.
-
No, his love is pure, his love is Holy, come on, his love is
-
not selfish. Right?
-
It's who he is. God is love.
-
So you can't even separate love from God because God is love.
-
It is who he is. It's the essence of who he is.
-
It's his very nature, right? So if you say you have faith in
-
God and he is love. Then you must recognize.
-
That is why I'm saying it's inseparable.
-
It's Inseparable, so you can't separate the two.
-
Now it says faith working through, love it's operative.
-
That's what that means. When he says faith working
-
working through, love it is operative.
-
Okay, that's what that means. It means ones activity and it
-
shows one self operative. That means basically that's how
-
it operates it's going to operate through love.
-
Okay, so when he says it worketh it worketh through love.
-
It worketh through love. That's how Faith operates.
-
It's not just a firm persuasion of a conviction, a belief, no,
-
it is faith. That is inseparable from Love
-
and it will all rework through it will only be operative
-
through that love You see that through that love, that's the
-
only way it can operate. It can operate on the three
-
principles of faith. Outside of love because it
-
doesn't work. It's Inseparable.
-
So you have to recognize that if we are going to be people that
-
are full of faith and stay in a position of Faith than we must
-
be people. As we said in the past,
-
Wednesday's that keep ourselves in love guard.
-
Our hearts, with all diligence protect ourselves right from You
-
know, what's going on in the world and what people are
-
slandering you about, and what people are talking about, you've
-
got to guard your heart, with all diligence, you've got to be
-
the person that's going to keep yourself in Love, no matter
-
what, because your faith will be hindered.
-
Your faith will be hindered. And a lot of people are not
-
going to see the fullness of all that God has for them.
-
And they're not going to see the promises of God, that that he
-
has for them. If they have things going on in
-
their heart, that is not the gods type of love.
-
There has to be a heart of forgiveness flowing.
-
There has to be a heart of Purity flowing and Holiness
-
flowing, right with nothing because he says you can speak to
-
the mountain and Have Nots. Love.
-
Right? So you can act like you're in
-
faith, but you have not love, it's not going to work.
-
It's a gonging, clanging cymbal. He says it's not going to work,
-
okay? So at work, if through loves, so
-
we need to make sure that we are people that are once again,
-
keeping our hearts pure and keeping ourselves in a position
-
of not allowing anything in these last days to hinder our
-
love walk. Now, I want to read that
-
Galatians 5:6 out of the passion.
-
Relation and Galatians 5 leads up to Galatians 6, where he
-
talks about what the fruits of the spirit is, and what's the
-
first fruit love, right? Lovejoy patience.
-
Kindness goodness, gentleness self-control, right?
-
All of these are the fruits of the spirit and even in
-
Galatians. He lets us know that we are to
-
walk by the spirit. So if we're going to walk by the
-
spirit, we've got to be people that are allowing the love of
-
God. Right?
-
The fruit of God's love to be operative in our lives and that
-
is the way to. Then we can know that we are
-
walking by faith living by faith.
-
But anyway, I want to read this out of the passion.
-
It says this when you're joined to the anointed one, is anyone
-
joined to the anointed one circumcision and religious
-
obligations can benefit you nothing?
-
All that matters. Now say all that matters now Is
-
living in the faith. That works and expresses itself
-
through love. Expresses itself through love.
-
So this Faith Works and expresses itself through love.
-
Amen. So everybody likes to talk about
-
faith being demonstrated by, you know, our confession and Faith
-
being demonstrated by, you know, maybe are giving and Faith being
-
demonstrated by, you know, maybe coming up here and, you know,
-
having hands laid on you But how about this one?
-
Faith expressing itself through love.
-
Through love. So faith, if you're truly a
-
person that's in faith, the first and number one expression
-
that should be demonstrated is love.
-
Is love. So that means your first
-
response in how you deal with people and how you come across
-
people. Whatever the scenario, maybe is
-
how does this affect my love walk?
-
Because if I'm going to be in faith and I need to make sure
-
that that expression of Love is Flowing because outside of it,
-
it's not going to flow. Outside of Love, expressing
-
itself. Faith is not going to work.
-
You see that? That's what that's translation.
-
Says it expresses itself through love.
-
So faith is not just about believing God for the jet or
-
believe in God for the house or believing God for the business
-
or Billy. How about faith?
-
Expressing itself through, love to your spouse.
-
Forgiveness, come on to your children.
-
Forgiving them loving them. Anyway, that's not acceptance,
-
but that is truly saying, if I'm really going to believe, God,
-
that so-and-so can turn around and have faith that that can
-
happen and intercede and pray that I've got to make sure that
-
my love is Flowing there, That my love is Flowing there, right?
-
Because Faith isn't going to work unless the love flows and
-
left the love flows. So faith and love work together.
-
Let me say this and faith and love, always requires a
-
demonstration or action faith. We always talk about this Faith,
-
you know, demands an action, right?
-
That if you're really in faith and what a brother Hagin said,
-
you know a sick man doesn't lay in the bed all day if you really
-
believe and have faith, come on that you're healed.
-
Then what will you do? There is an action required,
-
you'll get up out of the bed and you'll begin to, what do
-
whatever it is? He tells you to do so, Faith
-
demands action, faith and love will always written.
-
Love is It as an action as well. We know that when we read First
-
Corinthians you know 14 13 13 13 1 through 8.
-
First Corinthians 1 through 8, love is patient.
-
Love is kind, right? All those things that love is,
-
we know that they are action words action.
-
So faith and love working together, activates activates
-
what it is that you need to receive by Faith from God?
-
If the love is not flowing, then guess what?
-
Faith is not working period? Because they're Inseparable and
-
you can say you're in faith all day long, but if there is stuff
-
in your heart towards your spouse, if there's all, if
-
there's all As a things going on, it's not working.
-
And you wonder why, you know, things are happening and
-
different things like that and because there's no peace and
-
agreement, you're not in agreement.
-
You're not in agreement. Right.
-
You're not at agreement. Once here and once here and it
-
and for to to come together and be one and be in faith about a
-
situation, then they have to be working their love and faith.
-
It's both required. Both required.
-
Faith Works. You see that what he said?
-
Faith worketh by love. Faith Works.
-
Faith Works. Faith Works.
-
We are not working out our salvation, but we are to work
-
out our faith. Live it out, Faith, work.
-
Kiss worketh by love. So there's some things that we
-
have to work by faith and love. If we're going to see the
-
evidence of what it is, that we're believing God for you.
-
Can't just say, I remember one time back over 20 years ago, You
-
know, when we were youth pastoring or whatever in Ramah,
-
I can't remember exactly what but it was a long time ago.
-
Anyway, you know, there was this just gentleman that said he
-
would. He believed he came up to us and
-
said he had been believed that he was called to the ministry
-
and you know was supposed to do this and do that but he never
-
seemed to do it. Oh, I know I believe in God.
-
I believe in God and my husband, let him say, you can believe God
-
all day long but unless you get out there and do it, unless I
-
would have picked myself up from Oklahoma and move with no money
-
and three kids and no job and started the church it was going
-
to happen. Faith Works.
-
Faith Works. That means you've got to get up
-
and work your faith. That means, whatever he tells
-
you to do, because action is required.
-
We have to get up and we have to work it.
-
We have to do what it is that he's telling us to do.
-
Amen. Because Faith Works, Hallelujah.
-
And I like to say this love laborers, Faith Works, but love
-
laborers. Faith Works.
-
But love laborers. Let me read this scripture to
-
you. First Thessalonians.
1 Thessalonians 1 chapter mention
-
Chapter 1. One through five.
-
And the reason why I'm going here, Is because in
-
Thessalonians at the beginning of the year, Pastor talked about
-
this is a year to what as this body to excel still more and as
-
I was meditating on these scriptures about faith and love
-
working together and Faith Works and love Labor's.
-
I realized that as I began reading in Thessalonians,
-
chapter 2 Three and four. There is a vein of what Paul is
-
talking about and he's talking about us working out our faith.
-
Bye. Love, let's read here in 1st,
-
Thessalonians chapter, 1, 1 through 5, Paul, and Timothy to
-
the Church of Thessaloniki Thessalonians in God, the father
-
of the Lord Jesus Christ, grace to you and peace from the, from
-
our God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
We give thanks to God. Always for you all making
-
mention of you in our prayers. Always making mention of you in
-
our prayers verse 3, red. Remembering without ceasing your
-
work of faith and labor of love. Your work of faith and labor of
-
love. Here it is again.
-
Okay. And patience of Hope in our Lord
-
Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father knowing beloved
-
Brethren your election by God. For our gospel, did not come to
-
you in word only, right? But also in power.
-
One translation says in demonstrations.
-
Right? We sing a song that we're not
-
just believing but we're praying for what demonstrations, right.
-
So he says I didn't just come to you with the word, he didn't
-
just come and preach, but he also came in the power of God or
-
the demonstration of God, you see that and then he goes on to
-
say and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance Do you know
-
what kind of men we are among you for your sake.
-
So here he highlights that he remembers without ceasing their
-
work of Faith, say work of faith and labor of love.
-
So that's the title of this message.
-
The labor of love. Not keeping love but the labor
-
of love, right? The labor of love because love
-
is labor us. If anyone has any Encounter of
-
truly allowing the agape love of God, to reign in your life.
-
There is a labor to love like God loves Now he says it's easy,
-
his yoke is easy and his burdens are light, but that doesn't mean
-
why, because you're doing it up underneath the grace that he
-
gives us, but that doesn't mean that there's not going to be
-
some labor, there's going to be some grief, there's going to be
-
some pain in, loving the unlovable, and loving people,
-
and forgiving, people of things, you think that you shouldn't
-
have to do. It's a labor, right?
-
So Faith. Works love laborers.
-
Now, let's go to 1st Thessalonians.
-
And verse 3 and read it out of the passion.
-
It says for, we remember before our God and Father, how you put
-
your faith into practice and how your love motivates you here it
-
is to serve others. When you are really a person in
-
faith, living by faith, allowing the faith of God to be operative
-
in your life. You will be motivated.
-
By the love of God to serve. Period.
-
So faith is not just for believing God for this and be
-
believing God for my business and believing God for more money
-
or a bigger house or whatever. No.
-
Faith is there so that you can be motivated by God's love
-
working through God's love, laboring God's love to serve
-
others. So people that just come to
-
church. yeah, I'm going to be Mama here, people that just come
-
to church. That's all you going to get.
-
No. And you can say you're in faith
-
all day long, but your faith will be demonstrated by love and
-
serving others period. Love always demonstrates.
-
Why do we know this? Because our God, right?
-
Demonstrated his love, before we were even right, while yet,
-
while we were sinners. He demonstrated his great love
-
and how did he demonstrate it by an action of going to the cross
-
and obeying the father and made it operable so that his blood
-
could be shed? So that his back could be
-
scourged, right? So that we could then receive of
-
this so that we could walk by faith.
-
Come on, Andre participate with him in this love this.
-
Great love just like Pastor. Earle was talking about on
-
Sunday. Everybody wants to say, they
-
love God, but how do we know you love God?
-
Because you keep his word. What does that mean you
-
demonstrate? You keep it.
-
You do it, right? So how do we truly know a person
-
is really in a position of Faith than guess what?
-
They'll be motivated by love to serve others.
-
They'll be motivated by love to serve the body of Christ.
-
They'll be motivated by love to be doing something and not just
-
attending church. Love.
-
Always motivates a person to serve just as he did.
-
Demonstrates your service unto the Lord, right?
-
This is how we know a person is truly activating.
-
Now you can have faith. In God.
-
But it's there. It's not activated.
-
How is it activated working through love, through action of
-
service, serving, his body, serving his body, his body, his
-
body. Who does he say?
-
His body is the church, the church.
-
So every person should be, and this is something that I've been
-
praying that I want every person in our congregation serving in
-
this. Church serving in this church.
-
Putting their hand to something, right?
-
Putting their hand to something because you are doing it unto
-
the Lord, right? And this is how you work out
-
your faith and work that love, and be a person that's
-
demonstrating it by serving his people.
-
Hallelujah. Because there's a lot to do for
-
the kingdom of God. Is a lot to do for the kingdom
-
of God. A lot to do so.
-
You know, if you say you're in faith then why don't we get in
-
faith that we can actually serve the body?
-
Because you're motivated by love.
-
That you could serve the body because his love is motivating.
-
You to do it right serving the body.
-
Hallelujah. Nobody's taught.
-
Are y'all tired? Be ready to go?
-
We can I'll just read one more scripture and we can go.
-
Let's see. Serving.
-
Why? Because there's a lot.
-
Do you know that we have been for the last two months know,
-
you don't know. You don't know what goes on
-
behind the scenes, you don't know.
-
You don't know the calls. We get of people begging for
-
help because churches aren't doing anything today.
-
Well, I don't know about you but I didn't join a religious group.
-
I joined the the church. The Living God that he says is
-
the hope of the world. And I'm going to keep my faith
-
active and I'm going to work it. Because love motivates me.
-
Love motivates me to serve his body.
-
Faith in action, we for, for several months, we have been
-
doing our Polly Maneri. You know, looking at a
-
initiative by Governor DeSantis has wife.
-
What was her name? Casey DeSantis put in initiative
-
this last year on families count families count, and they're
-
looking for churches to host. Families that are in situations
-
where their children have been taken away from them, or maybe
-
they're on the verge of being taken away from them.
-
And so, what they wanted to do is get churches involved to be
-
able to do a to be able to do like a court-mandated,
-
Counseling, but it's not counseling.
-
It's a program, a court mandated program, you know, how they go
-
to light Bridge or whatever and they have to go through programs
-
and stuff. Well she saw the desire that the
-
really the churches need to be involved in this, right?
-
And so for months we've been doing research on how we can
-
make this happen. But do you know what that's
-
going to take? People serving because not only
-
do you host them and and and and have them go through a program
-
at your church. And what is the goal?
-
What is the goal to reach this generation that is broken to
-
reach these families that are in destruction and if they could
-
come to the church every day and there's a group of people that
-
Would be willing to serve them. By not only having the program
-
available but it requires they require you to feed them a meal.
-
Every time they come they require you to pick them up.
-
We need bus drivers, we need a bus.
-
We need Vans, this is an opportunity that is handed to
-
the church, but if people won't get off their butts, And get out
-
of religion, then we are going to see another generation taken
-
out by the devil. That's just the honest truth.
-
When they, they are asking for the church's help.
-
They're asking for the church has helped to help these
-
families, feed him a meal. Let him go through the program,
-
then not only that have a family Mentor, like another good solid
-
family. Are we good solid families?
-
In this church, or do we still have dysfunctions and problems?
-
We ought to be good strong. Believers living out the word of
-
God, Everyday by faith, working it through the love of God, so
-
that we can serve so that we can serve.
-
So that we ourselves can be hold, and healed, and taken
-
another family, and Mentor them and pick them up, bring them to
-
the program. And then come together and have
-
a meal planned out for him for six weeks.
-
But do you know that that requires a lot of work that
-
we're doing in the background that you have no clue of?
-
But then not only that they wanted us to start this in
-
September and we've been looking at this for months and Pastor
-
Angie and some others had went to the program itself, but you
-
know what? We said we're not going to do it
-
unless the court mandates it Because I want to know that
-
they're made to come because if they have a choice guess what?
-
but I'm not going to put all this together and then hope one
-
family shows up especially when we're trying to pull for people
-
to just get involved and just start serving and come on and
-
say look at the opportunities that this church has been given.
-
What about West Augustine? That's getting ready to open
-
back up in August the the coaches wanting to the person
-
that started the thing or whatever is over, the thing he
-
wants to relinquish it and give it to us.
-
Well guess what? If we don't have people that are
-
willing to serve then we can't do it.
-
So guess what my prayer has been every person that comes to this
-
church is going to be actively serving in some type of
-
capacity. That is My Confession.
-
It's My Confession over this body because they're ours, we
-
are in a prime time. of where we are at in the world today, and
-
the church is being asked Come on.
-
Faith. Worketh And love laborers.
-
Love Labour's, love laborers, and is motivated to serve
-
others. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. So let's get motivated.
-
Amen. Believe God with me, that every
-
person in this body over 700 people say, this is their
-
Church. But every given Sunday, you see
-
the result? We need people that are all in
-
all in all in in everything and anything we should not be people
-
that aren't doing. More for the Lord.
-
I'm sorry. I don't see it in Scripture.
-
That you can retire or that you've done enough or you don't
-
have to do as much. No, he says, he increases your
-
capacity and gives Grace upon Grace heaped, upon heaped, upon
-
Grace, to empower you to be able to do more for the kingdom of
-
God, to be able to do all that you need to do in 24 hours, and
-
to also be able to do all that he needs you to do in that 24
-
hours. That's the way I believe that's
-
the way I know. It scripture reads.
-
Amen. So let's look at 1st
-
Thessalonians. Again.
-
Pastor read this to us at the beginning of the year and then
-
maybe we'll close 1st Thessalonians. 4 one said this?
-
And then he dropped down when he read this 2 verses 9 and 10 as
-
well. But we're going to read one
-
because you can see the theme as I was saying about what Paul was
-
talking about here in chapter 1, he's talking about putting your
-
faith into practice and being motivated by love, but now let's
-
look in the fourth chapter, it's the same theme.
-
It says this finally brethren, we request and exhort you in the
-
Lord Jesus Christ that as you have received.
-
From us instruction as how you ought to walk.
-
And please God. So this has to do with what
-
without faith. It's in to, okay?
-
How you ought to walk. And please God, just, as you
-
actually do walk, he's saying, hey, you're walking out your
-
pleasing. God, you're walking in faith,
-
but then he goes on to say that you Excel still more.
-
So he's saying they're still more, there's still more that
-
you can excel in for him. There's still more that you can
-
grow in for him. There's still more that you can
-
do, Hallelujah. All I know is I want my life
-
being poured out like a drink offering.
-
I don't want to leave nothing on the table.
-
Because when I stand before the Lord, I want to know that I've
-
done. I mean, you know, done
-
everything that I was supposed to do for the Lord, right?
-
So let's read on down to verse 9 and 10.
-
It says, now as to the love of the brethren, Here's the theme,
-
see it. You have no need for anyone to
-
write to you for. You yourselves are taught by God
-
to love one another for indeed, you do practice it towards all
-
the Brethren who are in Macedonia.
-
But we urge you Brethren to what Excel, still more.
-
He's saying you're walking in, love, you're practicing.
-
You're doing these things. But he's saying, listen, there's
-
still some more that you can excel in.
-
There's, I know I've done my time, you know, here are there.
-
I don't have to serve any more, I mean, you know.
-
No, he's saying, listen, you're doing well and you're being
-
pleasing unto God, but they're still excelling something.
-
There's still some more that you can excel in.
-
There are still some more that you can do.
-
For the Lord that you can actually walk into amen.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
My husband always says this pastor Earle.
-
He didn't just save us so that when we die, we get to go to
-
heaven. He actually saved us.
-
To accomplish his purpose and plan in the Earth.
-
Hebrews 9:14 says this. How much more shall the blood of
-
Christ? Let's think about his blood
-
because we always want to talk about it when we just want his
-
grace, and to be saved. Who through the eternal spirit
-
offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your car, your
-
conscience from dead Works to what?
-
Oh, just so that. When you die, you get to go to
-
heaven so that you can make sure you escape hell so that, you
-
know, you can have a prosperous and long living life on the
-
earth and you're not a wretched sinner anymore.
-
No. so that you could actually what serve the Living God, Serve
-
the Living God. Serve the Living God and how do
-
you serve the Living God? You serve his body?
-
His body, who is the church? That's how you serve the Living.
-
God. You obviously Walk It Out by
-
faith, you walk by faith, right? But one way you demonstrate Is
-
by serving the body of Christ because love will motivate you.
-
Love will motivate you. So I have to ask myself a lot of
-
times are people really in faith when they don't want to do
-
anything at the church, when it's pulling teeth, are they
-
even in faith? I mean, are they when you're
-
having to beg people to help No, because Faith Works by love and
-
if love if you're in faith, that love is the thing that's going
-
to make you want to serve and have you be a person that's
-
always willing to be able to do whatever the Lord needs you to
-
do? We should always be willing and
-
have a willing heart to say, Lord, whatever you need me to
-
do. Right now, I'm not saying, you
-
know, you know, you have some people that just get overboard
-
and they're doing, but I mean, I would like to see that I've not
-
ever seen that little bit more could happen, right?
-
Kind of like when he said, you know, in the Old Testament when
-
they were to build the Tabernacle and he said, bring
-
the all the gold and the silver everybody, bring your offering
-
your offering and everything. And What happened?
-
There was two so much. There was more than enough that
-
he said we don't need anymore. How about there's so many people
-
ready to serve and willing to serve that hard off?
-
We don't need anymore. Because everybody is serving in
-
some capacity in the body of Christ.
-
Do you know how much we could actually get done?
-
If everybody was putting their hand to something?
-
Putting their hand to something. And it can go back to actually
-
if a man don't work a man, don't now that could be in the natural
-
but it also could be in the spirit.
-
You're not going to get all you need to eat if you're not
-
willing to serve. There could be so much more that
-
God would want to download a food into your little Spirit
-
man. Right?
-
If we just had a willing heart to serve the Lord.
-
Amen. Hallelujah, I'll let you go.
-
Father, we thank you so much for your word.
-
We thank you, Father, that you're stirring us up.
-
Teaching us what faith really looks like.
-
That faith cannot be separated from the love of God.
-
And that love does labor. Love does labor?
-
and father, I thank you that you are speaking to each and every
-
heart asking are they in a place of Faith to be able to be In a
-
place of service unto you to serve your body.
-
So that we can be people that are truly living by faith in
-
everything that we're doing. Father, I thank you for your
-
word that it's living and active sharper than any two-edged
-
sword, able to penetrate between Soul and Spirit joints, and
-
Marrow, even to the dividing of the intentions of one's heart.
-
So, I thank you Father, that you'll divide, you'll divide
-
those intentions of one's heart tonight to divide between,
-
Whether they are really in faith and motivated to serve the body.
-
Father, we know that time is Drawing Near and that there's
-
many people that need to hear about your freedom, about your
-
love and about your forgiveness. And so father, I thank you that
-
you'll continue to stir up within us a heart.
-
Have compassion to say Lord, what else can I do?
-
What else can I do to be of service to you, stir, those
-
thoughts up. And father, I thank you that
-
people are going to rise up and yield and work their faith.
-
Work their faith by laboring in the love of God.
-
Hallelujah. Glory to God.
-
We thank you Father. For your anointing tonight.
-
We thank you for your refreshing.
-
We thank you Father. That that that Grace is upon us
-
in the midst of anything. You're asking us to do that.
-
If we would just tap into the grace that you would Empower us
-
to be able to serve to do, you would Quicken our mortal bodies,
-
you would do whatever we ask, so that we can run our race and not
-
grow weary. Hallelujah, and we give you
-
glory and honor, there's one scripture that I was reminded
-
that I had in here. And I believe that I read it
-
several times at the beginning of the year as well, but I want
-
to close on this positive scripture.
-
It says this. Let me see Hebrews.
-
Hebrews 10 6, 10 and 12. So it was a little bit further.
-
It says, this for God is Not unjust to forget your work and
-
labor of love, which you have shown towards his name in that,
-
you have ministered to the Saints, and do Minister.
-
And we desire that each one of you show the same Diligence to
-
the full Assurance of Hope until the end.
-
So we know the draw then the day is drawing near, the end is
-
Drawing Near and we need to be completely diligent.
-
In still doing what it is that we've been doing to serve and
-
minister to his people because he says this, he is not unjust
-
to forget it. If you have done it unto the
-
Lord, anything you're doing and serving any capacity, if you are
-
doing it unto the Lord, he is not unjust to forget your labor.
-
That's what the scripture says. He's not unjust and it says in
-
verse 12 that you do not become sluggish.
-
I don't want to do that anymore. I mean, I've done that for years
-
and then you start pulling back and you you know, all this
-
thing. So he says don't become sluggish
-
but imitators. Those here.
-
It is through faith and patience who inherit the promises if you
-
get. Guess, guess what?
-
You're not going to inherit some promises that he has for you and
-
so he lets, you know, listen, don't think that God does not
-
see, he is not a God, that does not see your labor unto the body
-
of Christ. Amen.
-
He sees it, let me read that out of the passion for God.
-
The faithful one is not unfair. How can he forget the beautiful
-
work? Work.
-
Oh, there's that word work. Oh, I don't have to do anything,
-
you know, I'm under grace. I don't have to work.
-
I don't have to do anything. You're not working out your
-
salvation but you do have to work your faith because James
-
says, what faith without works is dead.
-
Faith without works is dead. So don't say you have faith, if
-
you have no works, Works are demonstrations of his love and
-
faith throat flowing through your life anyway he says it's
-
not forget the beautiful work you have done for him.
-
Are you doing it for him that he's not going to forget it.
-
He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually
-
serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name but we long to
-
see you, passionately advance until the end and you find your
-
happy Fulfilled. So don't allow your hearts to
-
grow dull or lose your enthusiasm.
-
But follow the example of those who fully receive, what God has
-
promised, because of their strong faith and patience
-
endurance. Amen.
-
He is not unjust. He does not forget the work that
-
we do for him. If we're doing it with the right
-
Heart, full of Faith, we're not doing it to please, man.
-
We're not doing it to try to get people's attention.
-
We're not doing it for any other reason.
-
Other than he says that we are to do it by faith and labors of
-
Love serving and ministering to his people, his body.
-
Amen. Thank you so much for listening
