  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast

  2. from st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now enjoyed this message, but we need to talk a little bit more

  4. about praise because praise today isn't, there's just not a

  5. lot of great praise out there. Just going to say it like that.

  6. All right, and we're going to talk about that today because

  7. again we coin something called praise and worship, right?

  8. And so obviously mentally in the church, you know, across the

  9. board praises, the fast songs worship is the slow songs.

  10. Well, worship has to do with bending your knee.

  11. Remember the in Luke and in Matthew's gospel, when Jesus was

  12. tempted of the devil, in the wilderness, he said, showed him

  13. all the kingdoms in a moment of Tommy said, now I'll give you

  14. all this domain. If you'll just Bow Down and

  15. Worship me, was he asking Jesus to sing him?

  16. Slow songs. No.

  17. So what he was asking him was to bow down and obey his word.

  18. So Worship in the truest sense is obeying God at his word

  19. that's worship. It has nothing to do with the

  20. song. Now you can see and be

  21. worshipping him. Meaning if he's saying seeing

  22. this or praise me, And you don't then you're not worshipping him,

  23. because you're not obeying, what he asks you to do?

  24. Are you hear me when he talks about?

  25. And we're not going to talk about this tonight, but he talks

  26. about holy hands, lifted High. Well, we should be able to raise

  27. our hands up. Amen.

  28. We should be able to do this. If we cannot do this, then we

  29. maybe are struggling in worshipping him.

  30. Well, I don't have to raise my hand to work.

  31. He said holding hands, lifted hot.

  32. So are you telling everybody that you're not?

  33. Holy, that's why you can't lift them just like we talked about

  34. last week that death doesn't, praise God.

  35. There is no praise and death. So when we start coming together

  36. and singing with our musical, instruments is outlined in a lot

  37. of Psalms, you know, if we find ourselves looking like this Then

  38. what we're telling the rest of the congregation and they just

  39. consider me dead. Because we should praise him all

  40. the time. I mean, surely, there's

  41. something he's done for you. That would get you to open your

  42. mouth. Right?

  43. Well, I don't sing well, we know there's a provision for you,

  44. right? Because that Provisions For Me,

  45. Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord he didn't say.

  46. Had to be on key, he didn't say it had to be perfect, right?

  47. And here's the cool thing, we turn up the volume enough that

  48. it can sometimes require ear plugs.

  49. Which means we really don't hear your bad voice anyway.

  50. So just scream away. Right.

  51. Just scream away. All right you're not going to

  52. distract anyone. I mean if you're really that bad

  53. and it's like I mean we can hear it, I'll turn it up more We'll

  54. just turn up a little bit more. I mean, because we saw that this

  55. word praise means to be exuberant, right?

  56. And it also carries this thought of going mad or insane.

  57. So you understand why, you know, David?

  58. When he was confronted by one of his wives that said to him, I

  59. can't believe you acted like that when you were dancing

  60. before the Lord, you know, he's dancing before the Ark of the

  61. Covenant and worshipping and praying are praising the Lord

  62. When he was dancing before the Lord, because he was praising

  63. him and and she's like, you know, you embarrass yourself.

  64. He said, I get an even more undignified in that.

  65. Amen. Because again, sometimes, you

  66. know, we think because I've been in denominational churches, I

  67. was raising the denominational Church, you know?

  68. And you kind of just set up grab the him, you know, when you sing

  69. like this and then we would even like seeing sitting down.

  70. You know I'm saying, like, you've stay in the seat During

  71. certain songs, you know? And, and they'd be the first

  72. second, third stanza or A first second fourth stanza, typically

  73. is what you were going to sing and you know you could do it in

  74. a seated position. Now again, I'm not saying that

  75. those people, there are people who genuinely love God, you're

  76. going to, you are going to praise Him based upon your

  77. revelation. Okay, I'll give you a case in

  78. point. Jesus goes to a man's house.

  79. He's a religious guy, studier of the law.

  80. Goes to his house the guys. Like invited him.

  81. Come on in. We have you something to eat,

  82. right? Jesus sits down with his

  83. disciples, you know, the guys like, you know, Jesus in my

  84. house, you know, this guy's been working miracles, trying to

  85. figure out who this guy is, you know, he says some stuff, I

  86. don't agree with but we're going to find out then all of a sudden

  87. a woman bus through right woman bus through and she's like

  88. crying all over him, you know, and wiping his feet.

  89. And this religious, guys, like will manifest do was a prophet.

  90. He know what kind of woman is like touching him right now.

  91. I can't believe this is happening.

  92. And then Jesus says, let me ask you this question while she's

  93. cleaning this feet. She says, you know, if a guy had

  94. a $100, I'm paraphrasing. Now you can look this up for

  95. yourself, paraphrasing old $100 of somebody, but somebody owed a

  96. million and they were forgiven by the debtor.

  97. Who do you think would love that?

  98. You know, the person who forgave he goes and the religious guy,

  99. he's pretty quick, he was smart. He said I would suspect the one

  100. who was forgiven more and he says you are correct this woman.

  101. Who just came into this house. Although her sins are many, but

  102. she has done more because you didn't even offer to wipe my

  103. feet off. So again, people can be in a

  104. position singing or praising. The Lord based upon a knowledge,

  105. but when you really start reading the Bible and understand

  106. all that God has done for you, I and that that spaz is always

  107. messed me up because it did I really didn't like it honestly

  108. because I was raised in church. So, you know, if you compare

  109. tively looked at my life in sin, I mean I pale in comparison to

  110. some somebody, some people's testimonies of sitting in this

  111. room right now. I mean, it's like, As a master,

  112. it's in. I mean, I I just checked all the

  113. boxes, right? I ran hard in it.

  114. Okay, I didn't run hard in it, you know, if you compare lives,

  115. you wouldn't think I was a bad person, but I'll never forget.

  116. The Lord said he said, Son, don't you know?

  117. Disobeying, your parents just one time is enough for me to

  118. eternally, separate you from me. So, son, everybody's desk the

  119. same. Then I realized just that one

  120. thing had Eternal damnation associated with it, and I sure

  121. did disobey my parents that happened.

  122. So I was like the worst. I said, I was like the worst.

  123. I may not have done all this in that other things have done

  124. based upon, you know, things that are wrong, but I've done

  125. enough, I had done enough. So at the end of the day, I am

  126. that individual, right? And when you think that you've

  127. not really been forgiven of much, so, you know, God, you

  128. kind of owe me. I'm not, I really, I mean, it

  129. didn't take much for me to get him with you.

  130. Well, those types of people don't really praise.

  131. But you get around somebody that knows what they what the price

  132. is, and I'm saying, you just may have disobeyed your parents, but

  133. you realize the price, I mean, you're going to raise your

  134. hands. You're going to shout, you're

  135. going to run in front is necessary.

  136. You're going to dance if dancing is necessary.

  137. You can but I don't give a rip what you think about me.

  138. I'm praising my Lord, he saved me from hell but not only, did

  139. he save me from hell and eternal prison system of the kingdom of

  140. God. He made me a son and then he put

  141. his spirit in me. And you mean I'm not gonna I

  142. mean I'm not going to Always smell.

  143. I'm not gonna have a shout of Praise.

  144. When I have the third person of the godhead on the inside of me,

  145. did he gives me victory over all my circumstances?

  146. I mean, seriously, I can't shout praise or something, I can't.

  147. I mean, I've got a constant flow of, wow, look at God, and look

  148. what he's doing in my life. I mean, it gets pretty easy

  149. zubrin. We over here in the u.s.a., man,

  150. you know, we've created churches that are so, you know, dead and

  151. it's expression like we're digging.

  152. Defied your not dignified. It's called laziness because

  153. I've been in other countries man.

  154. They'll dance. The roof tops off.

  155. I mean, it's lioness the myth I'm not even told my women.

  156. I'm talking about the men I mean most men in churches.

  157. Are are the ones? Well, honey, you sing.

  158. I mean, that's what you do. Why don't you lead, man?

  159. Don't you just lead and praise and get up there and see, won't

  160. you come to the front show your wife?

  161. I'm not gonna stay here. I gotta go up here and serve my

  162. king. I'm going to just go worship him

  163. a little bit. Hallelujah.

  164. Okay. The Lord's.

  165. Good acts chapter 16. So we just full of it, right?

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  166. We full of praise. Right, were full of joy with on

  167. my that on Sunday, are you? Or are you happy?

  168. Just say, haha, does it not matter?

  169. What's going on, you got the victory.

  170. Amen. This is what overcomes the

  171. world. Our faith and God's word works.

  172. Okay? His word works but you need to

  173. know his word. If you don't know his word, then

  174. it's not going to work. What you think, you know about

  175. the word doesn't work. What works is the word?

  176. Alright. Alright.

  177. So Acts chapter 16. We started with this verse

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  178. actually was verse 25. We started with last week but I

  179. want to kind of set context a little bit so that we can dig a

  180. little bit more about praise. Amen.

  181. Alright says the crowd rose up together against them and the

  182. chief magistrate tore their robes off them and proceeded to

  183. order them to be beaten with rods.

  184. This is a great opportunity here, right.

  185. And when they had struck them with many blows.

  186. Threw them into prison commanding the Jailer to guard

  187. them securely and he having received such a command through

  188. them through them into the inner prison.

  189. Not not, you know, not only a house here.

  190. We going to get him. We'll get it.

  191. Wears very difficult for. You're not getting out, right?

  192. The inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks but

  193. about midnight. So who's been beaten with rods,

  194. Paul, and Silas? Paul and Silas were what

  195. praising? We are praying and singing.

  196. Hymns of praise to God. And the prisoners were what

  197. listening to them verse 26. And suddenly there came a great

  198. earthquake. So that the foundations of the

  199. prison house were shaken and immediately.

  200. All the doors were open and everyone's chains were unfasten.

  201. When the Jailer awoke and saw the prison doors open, he drew

  202. his sword and was about to kill himself, right?

  203. Supposing that the prisoners had escaped, but Paul cried out with

  204. a loud voice saying do not harm yourself for.

  205. We are all here and let me ask this question.

  206. What kind of Praise will cause the sinner to remain with the

  207. voice of the saved. Instead of fleeing with the

  208. opportunity to go their own way presents itself.

  209. I'll say that again. What kind of Praise will cause

  210. The Sinner. Now we know why Paul and Silas

  211. are in there. They're in there because they

  212. cast The Devil out of a girl. Because she was making money for

  213. some guys, and they've realized the money dried up.

  214. And he's got some power and it upset him so much that he got

  215. the whole city upset about it. Are you hearing me?

  216. So this is why they are in jail because they cast a demon out.

  217. Why do you think the rest of them are in prison?

  218. For crimes. So we're not talking like he's

  219. came in on a Bible study. Right.

  220. That this is like China. They caught a church and Paul

  221. just happened to show up with the rest of the congregation.

  222. So, he's in prison with people who belong there.

  223. For crimes that have been committed that deserve them to

  224. be there yet. These boys get praising in such

  225. a way that when the earthquake hits and all of the doors open.

  226. And the chains fall awful. They don't run to

  227. self-preservation. But anyway, for the next word,

  228. coming out of Paul and Silas his mouth, could you learn to praise

  229. God in a way that even The Sinner wouldn't want to try to

  230. find a way out? Let me just tell you this.

  231. There ain't a lot of that praise going on.

  232. Because there's a lot of Sinners showing up at church and leaving

  233. church the same. The showing up at church and lit

  234. and and leaving the same. Leaving the same.

  235. So there had to be something going on in their praise.

  236. How would you like how many would like to know what they

  237. were singing? Because scholars believe they

  238. know what they were singing. Now, my wife and I had the

  239. privilege to go to Israel and when we were going to Israel, I

  240. remember on one particular day is probably the Sabbath, but it

  241. may not have been. I mean, you know, it's a kind of

  242. a whirlwind, you go so many places and see so many things,

  243. but I remember we were in one particular hotel and in this

  244. room, it was obviously they were religious Jewish people and they

  245. were all in there with the Torah.

  246. And they were reciting. They were reciting scripture.

  247. So, you know, for the majority of the nation of Israel are

  248. Jewish people, they are taught at a very young age to know very

  249. specific scriptures and they have to memorize it, it's they

  250. got it. I mean, it's they can pull up.

  251. See, they don't need the that Bible or that law in front of

  252. their eyes to know it. They know it will.

  253. Do we know the word like that? If your Bible was gone, could

  254. you still quote stuff? Now, when I say that I can't.

  255. Okay, so I'm not trying to act like I'm a, you know quoter.

  256. I know a few people who are, but I'm just saying that just gives

  257. the attention traditionally, and they still do that today, where

  258. they've got that thing down there saying it, they're saying

  259. it there, it's in them, it's in their mind, they can pull that

  260. thing up. Well, there's a couple of

  261. Scholars by the name of Jameson faucet and then Ew Bollinger.

  262. They believe that this is the same him or if the collection of

  263. hymns that Jesus saying with the disciples in Matthew 26, the

  264. Jesus saying some with his disciples and go over there.

  265. Matthew 26. I think it's verse 30 said they

  266. sing some hymns before you know, they went on to pass over and so

  267. they believe what? Paul and Silas was singing was

  268. Psalms 113. Is what they consider the.

  269. Hallelujah songs. Psalms 113 to Psalms 118.

  270. So I didn't give you these scriptures because I was going

  271. to just read them. So let's pull up songs 113 and

  272. we're just going to go how many you want to hear what they're

  273. saying. Right?

  274. Because it's important. It's not it it's it's not enough

  275. to sing a song. Singing a song doesn't mean

  276. you're praising. Because not every song.

  277. Sung Praises God, even if it's using his name.

  278. In fact, I would submit to you that the majority of the popular

  279. stuff that is being played today.

  280. The church has fallen back into how it was in the world.

  281. And, you know, when you were in the world, we used to tell our

  282. parents, I sure told my mama mama.

  283. I don't listen to the words. It's the beat that I like.

  284. Come on, having to use that. Oh yeah, I'm not listening.

  285. But yet, you know, if that song came on the radio today, you

  286. would quote that bad boy. You would be singing it.

  287. I mean, I could just start some stuff and many of you could just

  288. jump right in with me. Jump, write it.

  289. You know what? I'm gonna be honest with you.

  290. This is true statement. Most popular songs that are sung

  291. today. As many times as I've sung them,

  292. they still don't stay with me. In fact, I had no a very few

  293. today songs that I can remember that.

  294. When I start singing I always go further back.

  295. Because the content of those. Where they're rooted in.

  296. I'ma hit some sacred cows tonight.

  297. So you know, That's okay, right because you understand if you

  298. come to church so that you can just continue to stay with your

  299. agreement level, well, then you're not actually in his

  300. church because if you're in Jesus church, the one that he

  301. is, you know, building then he's going to constantly have a flow

  302. of growth, which is going to challenge what you think, you

  303. know, right. And I thank God he challenges

  304. what? I think.

  305. I know I was cutting grass today.

  306. I get some great sir. Is cotton grass today.

  307. Yeah, I got a title of a book to unlock the power of God's love.

  308. Yeah, it's amazing because I know the content.

  309. But that's probably how we got to say it, right.

  310. And then I got another thing too, but I'm not going to tell

  311. you I'll preach it to you later. Amen.

  312. Come on. You hear what I'm saying?

  313. So let's see what he was saying, songs 113.

  314. Go ahead and put it up. We're gonna do the whole

  315. chapter, right? So I'll just go that.

  316. So there this is their song. This is what they're saying

  317. after they've been beaten. Thrown in jail, just for

  318. performing a miracle by the spirit.

  319. All right, they said praise the Lord, Praise all Servants of the

  320. Lord. Praise the name of the Lord

  321. blessed. Be the name of the Lord from

  322. this time forth and forever from the rising of the sun to its

  323. setting. The name of the Lord is to be

  324. praised. I think we kind of heard that

  325. line tonight. Okay, but not every line in that

  326. song. Did we keep?

  327. Because if you actually go find that song, our sounds different

  328. because I changed it because not every line praised him.

  329. Some lines brought doubt. Okay.

  330. From the rising of the sun to its setting.

  331. The name of the Lord is to be praised and the Lord has High

  332. Above All Nations. His glory is above the heavens,

  333. who is like The God, Who is the Lord, Our God, who is enthroned

  334. on high, who humbles himself to behold the things that are in

  335. heaven and in the earth. Now this and even sound like a

  336. song, does it? I mean, the way we write songs a

  337. day, we got to have the rhyming words, you got to have the

  338. little pattern going. It's amazing how the psalmist

  339. here is like forget that I'm just going this saw Miss wrote

  340. what came up by the spirit. Wasn't there to try to get a

  341. record deal. One trying to get a bunch of

  342. followers. Oh, y'all don't want to hear

  343. this one. Trying to get on a platform so

  344. everybody can see them. But just came with what came by

  345. the spirit and he came by the spirit so much that when God

  346. decides. Okay.

  347. When I'm putting this whole thing together so that from

  348. Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:20, one that I want to clearly show

    Genesis 1:1 Revelation 22:20

  349. that the Bible is about a king, his kingdom, in his Royal

  350. Offspring, I'm going to include this song that I want my people

  351. to say, so that when Trouble Comes, they can pull it up.

  352. I have no idea what this tune sounds like, you know what, I

  353. love about the Psalms actually, and why I love that God publish

  354. all of these songs without musical charts is because we

  355. could actually make it any music we need to for Any Nation.

  356. And it transcends time. All right, he raises the poor

  357. from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash Heap to to

  358. make them sit with prince's prince's man in this awesome

  359. with the princes of his people he makes the bear more woman

  360. abide in the house as a joyful mother of children.

  361. Praise the Lord, man. In that great.

  362. They're singing this, this is what they say.

  363. But then they go on to the next one 114 and it says Us, when

  364. Israel went forth from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people

  365. of strange language Judah, which means praise became his

  366. Sanctuary Israel. His Dominion, the sea looked and

  367. fled, the Jordan turned back. That's The Parting of the Red

  368. Sea sees recounting, he's going back, the psalmist.

  369. And this is what Paul and Silas are doing.

  370. They're saying, we're praising the Lord, because look what he's

  371. done. Now, let's talk about these

  372. exploits would just in our generation because I'm not gonna

  373. sit here and cry. About that.

  374. I got beat. I'm not going to see her cry

  375. about woe is me. I'm not gonna cry about how bad

  376. my situation is, but I hope God, you'll do something.

  377. No, I'm going to put you in remembrance of what you already

  378. did, because what he doing, he's changing his thinking from how I

  379. feel right now and the circumstance.

  380. Let's just go ahead and let's magnify the Lord.

  381. I mean, because honestly, the audacity for me to give a

  382. praise, like, you don't know what I'm in right now.

  383. Not that you can't say, Lord you see what's happening because

  384. there are songs that communicate that I have no problem with

  385. that. But if you actually re specially

  386. David's Psalms even in his Agony songs, even when he's singing

  387. songs about, look what they're doing, look how they're coming,

  388. but he always turns it to. But you you're this you're going

  389. to do that and it's going to happen.

  390. You're gonna turn it for my he never stays in his moment but

  391. yeah, half the stuff. If we don't watch out especially

  392. in our praise life, meaning when we're out and about we're not

  393. praise him say Well praise the Lord he's gonna turn this around

  394. so that all you know lose my job we just we're gonna lose her

  395. job. I mean we take every piece of

  396. information And instead of turning to the praise of God, we

  397. begin to communicate our situation.

  398. Are you hearing me? Okay.

  399. All right. The sea looked and fled, the

  400. Jordan turned back. The mount skip like, Rams, the

  401. hills, like Lambs. What eles uoc that?

  402. You flee. My mom, right?

  403. Oh, Jordan, that you turn back a mountain that skip, like Rams,

  404. like the Lambs, terrible or Earth before the Lord Trimble

  405. Earth before the Lord. Before the god of Jacob who

  406. turned the rock into a pool of water, the Flint into a fountain

  407. of water. Now, I love that last line

  408. because Paul and Silas are remembering when something

  409. shouldn't even be happening in this situation.

  410. Look what God did. I mean, God turned our a rock

  411. into a pool of water. The Flint into a fountain of

  412. water. I mean, we remember when we

  413. didn't have any water and air are thirsty, but God just calls

  414. the fountain to fly out. So it doesn't matter.

  415. I'm chained today. The matter.

  416. I've been beat the matter how impossible this looks God's got

  417. a fly. I mean, they're tied into a

  418. praise of God's ability. Not in their situation.

  419. Let's go to the next one songs. 115 says, is not to us.

  420. Oh, Lord, not to us but to your name give Glory because of your

  421. loving kindness because the truth you know that you know,

  422. half the psalmist today that are popular.

  423. That ain't true. because they now, Whatever Church featuring.

  424. All are featuring. Featuring.

  425. Then they come out with their own albums.

  426. So, who, who is this, who we doing this for?

  427. Now, it can sound like that, I'm against anyone that's in this

  428. most people get caught up and they don't even realize what

  429. they're doing, okay? At the end of the day, I get it

  430. and some are doing it with this Pure Heart.

  431. Some probably are with a pure heart that they know based upon

  432. what they know. I'm not finding fault with that.

  433. That's not me to judge that. I'm just saying, Paul, we're

  434. staying with scripture, you understand what I'm saying, and

  435. when you stay with scripture, you realize that there is a way

  436. that you're moving around. That looks a lot different.

  437. Then what we currently are witnessing.

  438. I remember one particular Minister I mentioned named

  439. William McDowell he what was that one song?

  440. He wrote Give Myself Away right? Give myself away real popular

  441. right saying this I remember going to a little conference

  442. that he had and he made this statement.

  443. He said you know I really kind of regret.

  444. I became famous He said because then I will go to churches. and

  445. if I didn't sing the songs that they heard on the albums, They'd

  446. be disappointed, even though I thought the Spear of the Lord,

  447. all he wanted me to stay on two or three lines.

  448. Which means in the church has turned into a concert and

  449. entertainment. And we're calling it, praise.

  450. And I'm just speaking direct quote from a signed artist that

  451. said this I wouldn't sing anymore when I was invited.

  452. I would just minister Because they're wanting to take it in a

  453. direction that I knew God didn't want to and then they were upset

  454. at me, well, where's the love hat?

  455. I mean, we do we want God, or do we want a concert?

  456. And most of them are like this anyway.

  457. Now, don't get me wrong Clapton's, fine says, Clap the

  458. your hand, you know, all you people, there's no problem with

  459. clapping special you know when we're doing certain songs and

  460. stay with rhythm I mean it's an instrument you can use but to

  461. have a song sing and then we stopped back and we applauded

  462. You're at a concert because we're not supposed to.

  463. I mean we are not going to go to heaven and go Jesus.

  464. Wow, you're not going to plunge Jesus.

  465. Let me tell you what you're gonna do when you see him.

  466. There ain't gonna be no man-made Accolade, you know, make you

  467. feel better about yourself and most of the praise and worship

  468. times that are happening. Most churches, that's what it's

  469. like, they're not even there, not even singing fact.

  470. Pastor Market was telling me about his father who had went to

  471. a church and it'll very large congregate, very large

  472. congregation. It's his dad experience that

  473. they no one saying. While the band was playing. but

  474. the men of the song was over, everyone clapped And they

  475. consider that praise and they don't even know what they're

  476. missing out on. But again, when we become

  477. spiritually, illiterate meaning, we don't read the Bible.

  478. Well, then we'll adopt anything. Someone is saying, is something

  479. that's why I've said for years, do not believe anything that I

  480. say, because I say it, you should search the scripture for

  481. yourself to find that. It's so at the end of the day, I

  482. have no problem if someone can literally, show me in scripture,

  483. something I'm saying that's not correct.

  484. No problem. I'll change because I don't have

  485. a personal opinion about the matter but I very rarely come up

  486. here with two scriptures, email story and you know some life

  487. lesson and that's how we end this deal.

  488. We're like line upon line precept, upon precept.

  489. You know, we're going to read a few songs tonight.

  490. Because I love the word, it's the word.

  491. It changes our life, okay? Not us.

  492. Oh Lord, not to us but to your name, give Glory because of your

  493. loving kindness because of your truth.

  494. Why should the nation say we're now is their God but our God is

  495. in the heavens, he does whatever, he pleases that,

  496. that's a loaded statement that needs explaining but I'm not

  497. going to do it tonight. Their Idols are silver and gold

  498. and the work of man's hands. They have mouths, but they

  499. cannot speak. Okay, Lord, I'll do it.

  500. Go back. He does whatever he pleases.

  501. That doesn't mean God, does whatever he wants.

  502. Number one, where in the Bible does it talk about what?

  503. Pleases the Lord can he might tell me?

  504. Hebrews 11:1 6 without faith. It's impossible to please God.

    Hebrews 11:1

  505. Does God have faith? Where do we know that Mark

    Mark 11 chapter mention

  506. chapter 11, right? When Jesus telling them about

  507. the Fig Tree? He said have faith in God

  508. literal translation, have the god-kind of Faith, right?

  509. So God has Faith, how do we know?

  510. God has Faith. He believes his own word.

  511. What is faith? Faith is a firm persuasion of a

  512. word spoken. Now, that's just general because

  513. that can even be ungodly. Faith is firmly persuaded of a

  514. word spoken. That's why.

  515. Romans 10 qualifies our faith, faith comes by hearing faith

  516. comes by hearing period. You can listen to CNN, Fox News,

  517. political people, a doctor and produce faith.

  518. I heard I have cancer. I'm going to die in six months.

  519. Firmly be persuaded in 6 months tops.

  520. That's Faith. But wants to wants.

  521. What's Paul doing Roma's? The Holy Ghost says now you let

  522. them know. Faith comes by hearing right.

  523. Faith comes by hearing but Hearing in the word of God.

  524. So you're hearing is to come from the word of God.

  525. So faith comes to you cause you heard the word not because

  526. you're hearing what's going on out here.

  527. So where does our faith arrived from God?

  528. His word? Well to please, God we are to

  529. believe him at his word. Be in faith.

  530. God? God.

  531. Then, if he does whatever, he pleases, he's only doing what

  532. creates Faith which in turn then produces because God's faith

  533. always comes to pass. He said, I sent my word, right?

  534. He says it, it will not return unto me void, but it shall want

  535. accomplish that, which I sent it to do, so, whatever he pleases

  536. is. He's very calculated and what he

  537. says, God just doesn't do something because this line

  538. here, makes people think, well God, do whatever he wants.

  539. Well, if that's true, then why didn't he come down when Adam,

  540. ate the fruit and say son, Let's just forget about it.

  541. Because you do whatever. You please.

  542. I'm seriously it would save a lot of problems, wasn't it?

  543. I mean, it's to get this logically thought about before

  544. we take a wrong are thought Well, he can do whatever he

  545. pleases. That's what the psalmist says.

  546. Well then he could have came down and says, Adam.

  547. Didn't I tell you to eat fruit, you'll die.

  548. You know what? I really don't want you to die.

  549. So let's act like it. Don't happen.

  550. We'll just forget about it. Let me kick this little devil

  551. out because I already did this in heaven.

  552. You obviously didn't do it down here.

  553. You really don't get his Dominion.

  554. You gotta go, is that what happened?

  555. Why did it happen? Cuz he's bound to his word.

  556. So the minute God spoke let us make man in our image, according

  557. to our likeness and let him have the mini heat, literally gave

  558. him the power of an Earthly rule.

  559. That only Adam now can give away or keep.

  560. So when he gave it to the Devil, by eating, the fruit by obeying

  561. his word, Then God comes down and says, now you got what I

  562. said you get? Which is you die, the minute you

  563. eat. And the only way I can get

  564. Redemption is I got to send another man.

  565. Because I've given to mean a man.

  566. So it now requires a man to take it back.

  567. Now I'm going to put my seat in the woman so I can get a man in

  568. the earth which actually be me the word in the flesh.

  569. So he can destroy the works of the devil who now has the

  570. Dominion. so he can't do whatever he pleases but he does

  571. whatever his word says, But we read these statements and we say

  572. it all the time, what God can do, whatever he wants to do.

  573. God does not do whatever he wants to do.

  574. God is very calculating what he says.

  575. Because the mainly says it, Even he's Bound by.

  576. Now that sounds tough, doesn't it people like no way?

  577. See, because we don't understand real power.

  578. We think power in natural terms. Well, power means, you know, I

  579. can bully myself. I can just eliminate you.

  580. What? God, just destroy God, can't say

  581. something, and just destroy you, because he wants to, because

  582. he's powerful. Because now he's not Justice and

  583. since he's not Justice then he can't be God.

  584. He's like the devil. Okay.

  585. And we getting too deep here, I mean, I don't think we are but

  586. maybe we are. Because a lot of times, we just

  587. don't think these levels we make statements and we single this is

  588. the problem. We sing them.

  589. And they're not even scriptural, which means then even though

  590. those words are two songs, they are not praised.

  591. They're not praise because God's not listening to things that do

  592. not actually come from his Source.

  593. I'll show you here in a second. All right, let's go on verse 5,

  594. they have bowels but they cannot speak.

  595. These are all these other Idols, right?

  596. So, what's Paul and them doing their just recounting, you know,

  597. at the end of the day, our God, the only God, they have eyes.

  598. That can I see? They have ears that can I hear,

  599. they have knows, they can, I smell?

  600. They have hands. They cannot feel they have feet.

  601. They cannot walk. They cannot make a sound with

  602. their throat. Those who make them will become

  603. like them, everyone who trust in them.

  604. O Israel trust in the Lord. He is their help and their

  605. Shield Ohio's of Aaron trust in the Lord.

  606. What are they doing? They're singing a praise.

  607. They're saying listen, even though we're in this situation,

  608. it looks like maybe God abandoned us but obviously, all

  609. the other gods are the real false ones.

  610. Let's just put ourselves in perspective here because even

  611. though I'm in a challenging situation, for doing some for

  612. the game, you're like, well I just only done something for

  613. you. I helped liberate someone who

  614. was demon possessed. And instead of at like you

  615. failed me and now I got trouble because of only did your work.

  616. I mean, how many Believers have we said done this?

  617. I'm just going to church just doing it all of a sudden he'll

  618. like, everything went went terrible.

  619. Well, I mean there's an enemy out there that don't want you to

  620. tap into your power. He wants to take your mouth

  621. Paul's like, you're not gonna take my mouth, right?

  622. I said, I'm gonna trust in the Lord.

  623. He is their help. Their Shield who you, who

  624. Revere, or fear the Lord. Trust in the Lord.

  625. He is their help and their Shield.

  626. The Lord has been mindful of us. He will bless us sees like he

  627. ain't forgot us. We down here shock.

  628. He's all we got it. We will be blessed.

  629. We, he will bless the house of Israel.

  630. He will bless the house of are he will bless those who Revere

  631. or fear the lord. The small together with the

  632. great may, the Lord, give you increase, you and your children,

  633. may, you be blessed of the Lord maker of heaven and Earth.

  634. Here We Go. The heavens are the heavens of

  635. the Lord, but the Earth he has given to the sons of man, you've

  636. given us that Dominion back. Lord, we're going to overcome

  637. conquer the dead, do not praise. The Lord nor do any, who go down

  638. into silence. But as for us, we will bless the

  639. Lord for this time forth forever, praise the Lord 116.

  640. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, all the

  641. nation's law on him, this is 117.

  642. Got 116. Was that 116?

  643. I just read Put 116 up there. I'll get over there.

  644. This is what they're seeing in jail, y'all doing, all right?

  645. Then we gotta love the word, he said, I love the Lord because he

  646. hears my voice and my supplication, because he has

  647. inclined his ear to me, therefore, I shall call upon

  648. him. As long as I live the cords, a

  649. death and Compass me. See he's like, man, we dabble

  650. tough situation and the tears of s.h.i.e.l.d. came around me.

  651. I found a stress and sorrow, then I called upon the name of

  652. the Lord, meaning I realized what I Min, but I call on the

  653. Lord, oh, Lord, I beseech you saved my life.

  654. Gracious is the Lord and righteous?

  655. Yes, our God is compassionate. That the Lord preserves the

  656. simple. I was brought low and he saved

  657. me return to my rest O, my soul for the Lord has dealt

  658. bountifully with you for you have rescued, my soul from

  659. Death, Mighty at my eyes from tears.

  660. Now listen, obviously the psalmist when we see Soul,

  661. there's a context between Soul and Spirit.

  662. We get that, but in the New Testament, and Paul is a writer

  663. of the New Testament. He understood Spirit soul and

  664. body, and that his Spirit man has been made alive.

  665. So, you understand for him to be at at make This statement for

  666. you have rescued my soul from death and that's he's saying you

  667. help me. Keep my mind from going down

  668. there. Some of the greatest rescuing

  669. you need is to keep your mind from going there because you lot

  670. of you your mind goes there, your situation are taking you so

  671. long of your mind, your emotions and start taking you there.

  672. Be like man you got it you need a rescue.

  673. My soul from Death, my eyes from tears.

  674. Meaning I'm crying about what I see my feet from.

  675. Stumbling mean it I'm going to decide how we gonna change this.

  676. I mean I can't tell you how many people are doing this.

  677. It's because they really don't know how to praise.

  678. They don't know the source of Praise.

  679. They think Praises in a song that we song.

  680. I shall walk before the Lord, in the land of the living I

  681. believe. When I said, I am greatly

  682. Afflicted. I said in my alarm, all men are

  683. liars. What shall I render?

  684. The Lord for all his benefits towards me?

  685. I shall lift up the cup of Salvation and call upon the name

  686. of the Lord, I shall pay my vows to the Lord O.

  687. May it be in the presence of all his?

  688. People precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his

  689. Godly ones. O Lord.

  690. Surely I am your servant. I am your servant.

  691. The son of your handmaid. You have loosed my bonds to you.

  692. I shall offer a sacrifice of Thanksgiving and call upon the

  693. name of the Lord. I shall pay my vows to the Lord.

  694. Oh, may it be in the presence of all his people in the courts of

  695. the Lord's House? In the midst of you old

  696. Jerusalem, praise the Lord. 117, they'll do it.

  697. All right? Praise the Lord, All Nations,

  698. laud him. All people for his

  699. loving-kindness prevails over whatever that is US.

  700. Great towards us. This weird translation, the way

  701. they give it on. This particular thing you'll

  702. pull from the truth and the truth of the Lord has

  703. Everlasting. Praise the Lord 118 last one.

  704. This is what they saw what they believed scholars.

  705. Believe this is what the hymns they tapped into from their

  706. memory while in jail. In Philippi give thanks to the

  707. Lord for he is good and his loving kindness is Everlasting,

  708. all that is real. Say his loving kindness is

  709. Everlasting old left the house of air and say his loving

  710. kindness is Everlasting old, let those who Revere fear the lord

  711. say his loving kindness is Everlasting from my distress, I

  712. called upon the Lord, the Lord answered me and set me in a

  713. large place. The Lord has for me, I will not

  714. fear what can man do to me? You see what this guy's act?

  715. He's not walking man, do to me. Yeah, they may have beat us,

  716. they made chained us. They may have left this in here

  717. and that like they gonna do horrible things tomorrow

  718. morning. But at the end of the day, Well

  719. we going to fear God's got us. The Lord is for me.

  720. Among those who help me. I mean we got a scripture day if

  721. God be who can be and we crying about people, Oh, you don't want

  722. to hear it. The Lord is for me among those

  723. who helped me therefore I will look with satisfaction on those,

  724. who hate me. It is better to take refuge in

  725. the Lord. Look at him.

  726. He's like these guys have put me in are hated me.

  727. I'm just gonna look in with satisfaction knowing ya.

  728. The Lord's going to bring this to pass.

  729. He gonna do it. He's for me, man.

  730. I was just doing the Lord's business, I just cast.

  731. I mean, I didn't cast her out the first day, I waited till he

  732. said something. And you know, I cast her out for

  733. those who don't know, the Lord does not take kindly when evil

  734. spirits advertise for him. He doesn't take kindly to that.

  735. The reason why the Lord, because you can see it in Jesus's life

  736. because every time the demons came around and began, you're

  737. the son of the most high, he say, shut up and come out.

  738. The reason he does that because if he did not deal with that.

  739. And and people said, well, that person said he was the son of

  740. the most high under demonic influence, because demons know

  741. who Jesus is. Then, after Jesus two parts,

  742. then they can use that. Say, didn't we say that?

  743. He was a son of most, didn't we prophesy?

  744. Didn't we and bring the horse and he Two guys that they were

  745. working. This print, this girl, with a

  746. evil spirit to be able to tell familiar Spirit to tell you no

  747. fortune telling and stuff. So, if she's going to walk

  748. around and say your other, you know, you do the work of the

  749. most high. Then the minute he leaves town

  750. after he establishes that church, the whole congregation

  751. is going to go over there. So fishing lures?

  752. Like shut that up. Don't let them have her ties.

  753. The work that I have you doing. Are you hearing me okay trust?

  754. He said it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust

  755. in man, it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust

  756. in princes All Nations around me and the name of the Lord, I will

  757. surely cut them off. They surround me.

  758. Yes, they Surround Me In The Name Of The Lord.

  759. I will surely cut them. All, they surround me like bees,

  760. they are extinguished as they fire of thorns.

  761. In the name of the Lord. I will surely cut them off.

  762. You push me violently so that I was falling, but the Lord help

  763. me. The Lord is my strength and my

  764. aunt song and he has become my salvation, the sound of Joyful

  765. shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous Boyle.

  766. How do you think they sang that line?

  767. The right hand? The Lord does violently.

  768. The right hand of the Lord is exalted.

  769. The right hand of the Lord does violently.

  770. I will not die, but live. I will tell of the works of the

  771. Lord, man. He says thee.

  772. I don't think that's a rest verse 18.

  773. We want to go on. Thank you.

  774. The Lord has discipline me severely but he has not given me

  775. over to death, open to the me to the gates of rice and I shall

  776. enter through them. I will give thanks to the Lord.

  777. This is the Gate of the Lord, the righteous will enter through

  778. it. I shall give thanks to the Lord.

  779. You Have, you have answered me, you have become my salvation,

  780. the Lord, the stone, which the builders rejected has become the

  781. Chief Cornerstone. This is the The Lord's, the

  782. Lord's doing it is a marvelous, it is marvelous in our eyes.

  783. This is the day which the Lord has made, let us.

  784. And he's saying that in prison, let us rejoice and be glad in

  785. it. So what excuse do you have

  786. tonight in this air-conditioned environment?

  787. To not rejoice. Rejoice Rejoice.

  788. I mean that maybe we should be smiling and happy, happy people.

  789. I mean, be like, wow, look what God's doing?

  790. Oh my mama. Okay, this is day, the Lord has

  791. made. I will rejoice and be glad in it

  792. old. Not be mad innit, not be sad.

  793. And it may be what glad and O Lord you save we beseech You O

  794. Lord we beseech, you do send Prosperity that means help along

  795. the way. That's not just money.

  796. Although they have received money before blessed, is the one

  797. who comes in the name of the Lord, we have blessed you from

  798. the house of the Lord, the Lord is God.

  799. And he has given us light bomb, the festival sacrifice with

  800. cores to the Horn of the altar. You are my God, and I give

  801. thanks to you. You are my God, I exalt you give

  802. thanks to the Lord for he is good for his loving-kindness is

  803. Everlasting. It's also the scholars, believe

  804. that Paul and Silas were singing in prison.

  805. And this Psalm Psalm when they sang, it had the capacity. then

  806. when an event took place, they weren't asking for see, their

  807. praise was not for deliverance of the jail.

  808. They knew their situation was on founded and they weren't asking

  809. a specific way for God to do something, just be on their side

  810. and at the end of the day, what comes?

  811. We're not going to fear man. Because we've Tom and Tom again,

  812. seen our Lord deliver Israel. And I'm a part of that Covenant

  813. and I'm just going to exhaust your loving-kindness is for a

  814. mound, here we go but then the Lord decides I'll send an

  815. earthquake. And when he does all the doors

  816. open chains fall off of Everybody.

  817. Not just the singers. So does your praise impact

  818. everyone in the room or just you?

  819. Do you praise in a way only so it impacts you.

  820. Because a lot of people will praise for the tension, so that

  821. people can see. Look at me.

  822. Look at me. Well, guess what?

  823. That's why change. Don't come off.

  824. You are them. If your praise is not inspiring

  825. someone else to step out, it could be selfish.

  826. I'm not going to say that people are watching because a lot of

  827. people locked up in and of themselves.

  828. But I'm just saying that when people are genuinely not looking

  829. for manifestation, most people in most worship experiences,

  830. that's what we call them worship experiences.

  831. So great. I mean, it's like we got to tell

  832. you what you're going to get. You don't hear that.

  833. I mean, the church is peddling. Things by we're going to have a

  834. worship experience and all you really experience has a soul

  835. Realm. And not a spirit realm.

  836. Because if you're not staying in line with the word, then you're

  837. not praise any. Because they sang something in

  838. Spa, this is what I don't understand.

  839. It's amazing. Why are we not just going to the

  840. 150 Psalms and working with some of the I'm not saying there's no

  841. can't be something original. I have no problem.

  842. We have original stuff. We just make sure scripture when

  843. we say it. But at the end of the day, do

  844. you understand? We could just put music to the

  845. word. But then the writer can't get

  846. credit for writing it. Hmm.

  847. Now, I understand that this can be kind of tough to hear and one

  848. cents. But I'm telling you right now.

  849. I refuse. For us to be mediocre In Praise.

  850. And we're going to take it another level.

  851. Because Paul and Silas were not praying for the prison doors to

  852. open up because the minute, if they were, if that would have

  853. been their prayer, the minute they open had been gone.

  854. This tells you the prey Paul knew because he was Rome Roman,

  855. he knew if we leave, the Jailer is going to be killed.

  856. I sure don't want to put him at risk.

  857. Because I didn't ask God to do this but yet his praise also had

  858. the power to keep all of the other people who deserve to be

  859. there for crimes committed and yet they didn't leave.

  860. Did he leave? And when the Jailer was going to

  861. bite to kill himself, there's no indication that he was within

  862. the eyesight of Paul doesn't say he wasn't say, was it?

  863. You could just easily believe that he got it by word of

  864. knowledge that he was fixing to do this action.

  865. Maybe he could hearing pull the sword out.

  866. And he said to himself, don't do it.

  867. We're all here, we're all here. And what does that man?

  868. Do taste Paul and Silas out of jail.

  869. Now, you know what he did? He shut the rest of the cells

  870. and those guys stayed in Because here's the thing, salvation is

  871. not another location. It's a heart because it won't

  872. matter with these guys. If they get out, what matters is

  873. have. They been freed here?

  874. I can't tell you how many Believers jump from one Church

  875. to the next church, trying to get out but they're in the same

  876. prison every time they show up because they're there.

  877. Cuz who they are hadn't changed. And he takes him and cleans

  878. their wounds. And any like Paul's, like look,

  879. man, he's just let us go. Maybe pause.

  880. I mean Paul's big deal here this time out following the plan and

  881. purpose of God. He got to understand.

  882. Paul's assignments way bigger. It's why he's praising him.

  883. I'm here because you asked me to start a church.

  884. Of which I've started. And if I run in the Midnight

  885. Hour right now, then that church will never survive the adversity

  886. of the world. So you're going to take me back

  887. to jail and we're going to see how this plays out because I've

  888. already praised him. You've made a little more

  889. comfortable now because you've helped Mend My Wounds and he got

  890. this Jailer and his whole household saved, you know, how

  891. to get Paul jacked. Because I just started a church

  892. and you're going to need it in this church.

  893. Are you hearing me? So then he skits in the jail

  894. cell and you know how the report is they come and they're like

  895. all you're going to be free to go to.

  896. He says no no no. Hey how does going to work?

  897. He bowed up to the government. The rulers of the day and said,

  898. let me tell you what they did. And man he had him scared, they

  899. Then followed and allow Paul to go back to the church and say

  900. when you're doing God's assignment, don't you bow down

  901. to anybody? Any empowered them, then of how

  902. they would be able to resist in adversity.

  903. And establish a stronger Church than just being self

  904. preservationists in their praise.

  905. I remember one false prophetess at came here once.

  906. You know, they would come in late and sit in the back and

  907. then they would leave early, right?

  908. They did this for a month or two and all of a sudden, you know,

  909. felt empowered to meet with me. So I met with them with Pastor,

  910. Angie Pastor Andrew, would you stand up please?

  911. So everybody who you are. She was in the meeting with me.

  912. I will not meet with a woman without another female present.

  913. Okay. And so she she can bear witness

  914. to this. So the false prophet is came in

  915. and began to tell me how great the word was.

  916. How do you know she just loved the worship here and love the

  917. word and all this stuff? You know, just a collates man.

  918. Right? So I'm listening.

  919. So then, you know, they began to tell me that they are

  920. prophetess. And that, you know, because of,

  921. you know, how great we are in the word and rightly divide the

  922. word of Truth, and all this stuff that she feels, you know,

  923. release. Now by the Lord that she's going

  924. to come to service, tell me something.

  925. She'll just stay in the back because she's humble, and then I

  926. would deliver it to the people. And then told me never take up

  927. another offering. She put a bucket in the back and

  928. say nothing about money ever. although the Bible has a lot of

  929. things to say about money, Jesus even talked about it.

  930. Okay. So I said, well, first of all,

  931. you're not the Holy Ghost. So I'm not going to do that.

  932. I'm just I'm not going to do that.

  933. It's not going to happen and I'm going to talk, I'm gonna I'm

  934. gonna preach on anything that the Lord tells me to do so

  935. that's just going to happen. well at that point then she's

  936. like well then I'll just come, you know, to worship and leave

  937. Really? I said, well, now, if you're

  938. gonna come and just here come to the singing and I'll stay for

  939. the preaching, then there's probably no reason for you to

  940. come. Are you telling me I'm not

  941. allowed here? I said I never said that.

  942. What I said was if you're going to come just for the music and

  943. not stay for the preaching of the word, then there's probably

  944. no reason for you to be here. Are you saying I'm not invited

  945. anymore? I did not say that.

  946. I repeated myself a third time, right?

  947. And they said well I just believe the Lord's release me.

  948. I said I believe you're correct. And they didn't come back.

  949. My point is is the audacity of someone number one to try to

  950. hijack a church. But number two to think they

  951. could praise. With that spirit.

  952. They could praise without spirit.

  953. That type of attitude and I've seen the person more than one

  954. time in town. When I walk in I have no

  955. problem. I'll go up to people and still

  956. say hello. Because I don't have a problem.

  957. I mean I am commanded to love people right at the end the day.

  958. Now sometimes love is not what you think, love is and that's a

  959. whole nother subject. We don't have time for Psalms

  960. chapter, 40 verses 2 through 5. Look at this.

  961. He said, he brought me out of the pit of Destruction out of

  962. the Miry clay. He set my feet upon a rock

  963. making my footsteps firm. He put a new song in my mouth.

  964. A song of praise to my God, many will see.

  965. And Year and will trust in him because of what he put in my

  966. mouth. Others are going to be changed.

  967. So our praise should cause those outside the kingdom to want to

  968. get in the Kingdom. Now.

  969. Real quick. Let's look at the passion

  970. translation of this. Okay it says it just verse 3.

  971. The passion translation says this, a new song for a new day

  972. Rises up in me every time I think about how he breaks

  973. through. For me.

  974. It's static praise. Pours out of my mouth until

  975. everyone. Here's our God has Set Me Free.

  976. Many will see his miracles. They'll stand in awe of God and

  977. fall in love with him now. I like the latter part because

  978. they'll see his miracles. Why?

  979. Because of Don't in my life and they'll stand in awe of God and

  980. fall in love with him. But the other translation

  981. actually communicates it better because it this one just says

  982. ecstatic. Praise pours out of my mouth

  983. until everyone hears. But where does it come from the

  984. other translation tells us that it says he put a new song in my

  985. mouth. Which means then praise

  986. originates from the word and if it's not the word that you're

  987. saying, meaning it must be scriptural than it's not praise.

  988. Psalms 119 says this way seven times a day.

  989. I praise you because of your righteous ordinances.

  990. The reason why I have a praise is because I know his word and

  991. the reason why his miracles are going to happen is because I'm

  992. only praising. What his word says about me in

  993. the situation. So Paul and Silas when they're

  994. in jail, they're not just singing Kumbaya or anything that

  995. pops up. They go back to the word that's

  996. inspired by the Holy Ghost written by a true psalmist.

  997. That had power associated with the words and an anointing.

  998. And then they sang that song in that situation that it for

  999. whatever reason I cannot answer. Because again, if you're trying

1000. I just want to praise him till the walls.

1001. Shake that mean that's stupid. I mean again your motive is

1002. already off so your praise is not founded or pure.

1003. We're just going to praise him. We realize there's a situation

1004. you've sent us here. We've established his church.

1005. Now this resistance has come and but we know you're for us was a

1006. man going to do to us. We just read everything they

1007. said. So they've tapped into the word

1008. and they're praising it and that praise went so much that it when

1009. the walls did shake and everything came out, it's

1010. obvious. All these people like they are

1011. serving the only God and there's no wonder why they went back to

1012. that one, because all the Other guys that are in there that have

1013. committed crimes, they were probably listening to the dumb

1014. Idol. That did have the ears that

1015. couldn't hear the mouth of couldn't speak the throat that

1016. couldn't talk the, the hands that couldn't touch.

1017. And so they're talking about all those gods in their praise song

1018. saying, but I got the only God and then God says, yeah, I'll

1019. show them. But if you get attacked it work

1020. or somebody says something about you at work or sickness comes on

1021. you and you speak like the rest of the world and then say well

1022. Lord I'm gonna praise you anyway.

1023. Well you're not pretty City. You're not praising him.

1024. You can't put a tag on. I'm gonna praise you anyway but

1025. yet sing in front of everybody, even though it's not to music.

1026. This is what's going on in my life, almost had a heart.

1027. That's how the world sings. What are you gonna do with

1028. covid? What are we gonna do about, you

1029. know, inflation? What are you going to do about

1030. all the rising prices? That's the Song of the world?

1031. Lord even though it may be the prices go, huh?

1032. You're even higher. You sit on the throne, you ohm

1033. Heaven and Earth Lord. Even though it may be that the

1034. price of gas hits ten dollars. That's all right.

1035. You've turned Water into wine. Right?

1036. You calls the Israelites close to not wear out in 40 days.

1037. You turn the widow woman's little bit of a flower to last

1038. her through a hole famine. And if this is the last time I

1039. fill up to take for the next month, so be it.

  1040. Praise the Lord. I'm just, Saying there's a

1041. different praise that comes out of the mouth of the believer

1042. that knows the word, but you can't see those praising.

1043. When you don't know the exploits of God, you can't even tap into

1044. certain things because you don't know the exploits of God and

1045. just singing God and Heaven doesn't make you a praise song.

1046. Just acknowledging, Jesus died on the cross and Rose from the

1047. grave. Doesn't make it a praise song.

1048. And maybe it's something, you know, but you're not singing it

1049. because you're singing something else.

1050. Could be some are Are you hearing me, Psalms 119, 1, and

1051. 171, Psalms 119? 171 says, let my lips utter

1052. praise for you, teach me your statutes.

1053. Psalms 119 175, let my soul live that it may praise you and let

1054. your ordinances help me. Hallelujah.

1055. Some songs have come from this platform and I listen to them.

1056. And I'm like, hmmm, maybe that's still wanting the best word to

1057. say maybe when he changed it again.

1058. Because I don't want to leave it.

1059. I thought of Doubt unbelief or dut magnify God most songs.

1060. We sing today are really about our situation and how God gets

1061. us out and never really about him anyway.

1062. I don't really go to Magnify Him.

1063. Right. So, what would it be?

1064. Like if we just decided we won't play any songs outside US.

1065. And you had to learn a new song every time you came in.

1066. Would we be not relevant? Because we don't do the latest

1067. stuff. What if I reach back in time?

1068. The places where songs actually Touch Heaven.

1069. Are they old now? Why is it at one time?

1070. Anointing can be on a song but all of a sudden just because we

1071. have a new style, we can't sing them.

1072. Why aren't even why are we even looking at them?

1073. Why don't we go back? Because, you know what, what I'm

1074. reading you is thousands of years old.

1075. It's called scripture. I mean, nothing news been

1076. pinned. Since what some uh scholars in

1077. here, 70 AD or a little bit past.

1078. I mean what's the latest one? I mean no one even 100.

1079. I mean, hit 100. And scripture is done the

1080. canonization that we have finished.

1081. We haven't even got a hundred years passed.

1082. Jesus, you know, birth. The death burial and

  1083. Resurrection. And that's all we're talking

1084. about and yet we're going to act like a songs old.

1085. That sounds cheesy. Oh, so you really only want the

1086. music and not the word. That's what you're telling me.

1087. I know we went to 50th camp-meeting, Rhema, singers,

1088. and band got up, and they were singing 80s songs.

1089. But the power God fall it was fall are like, man.

1090. Why in the world? Does it seem like the spirit

1091. gets there? It's because they were

1092. methodical about making sure what was said.

1093. Lined up. And then I was the Most Blessed.

1094. Has anybody ever heard of The Man by the name of David Ingles?

1095. Yeah, a few not many. Some of y'all should look him

1096. up. And you will be shocked at the.

1097. Sound would be true, but a statement was made about him and

1098. I thought we need a David Engel in this generation.

1099. We really do. This guy.

1100. Started hearing about faith. And went started going to a camp

1101. meeting. and all of a sudden the words that came out of Kenneth E

1102. Hagins mouth the revelation of God's word that he had never

1103. heard before. And it was rightly divided,

1104. scripture upon scripture, and the spirit of God was revealing

1105. to him. See that's right.

1106. And see that's right. And see that's right.

1107. And all of a sudden, the gift of who he was as a Psalm of started

1108. coming up and I'm one person said, it's so clear to, he says

1109. if brother Hagin is considered our modern-day move of you know

1110. the the message of faith. Then David Ingalls is the

1111. soundtrack to that move. That he basically put his his

1112. sermons to song and it's amazing people who came out of that

1113. generation that move in the beginning, they could talk about

1114. the authority of the believer and their authority over the

1115. enemy and over sickness and disease.

1116. Why? Because they are doing like we

1117. do with our classical school, they learned it in song.

1118. And they could sing it. Most of y'all sing and half of

1119. the popular groups. Today couldn't get you healed,

1120. couldn't get you delivered and can't keep a devil off of you.

1121. The fact that it brings depression to your life.

1122. Because some people are releasing stuff now, my pastor

1123. Marcus showed me. One thing that was with one

1124. popular group, just released something individually.

1125. And when they showed me the lyrics, I thought my first

1126. question would be are you saved? That would have been my first

1127. question when I got that song. And then I'm asking who are

1128. their pastors? Do they even have them?

1129. And if they do is the pastor intimidated by their popularity.
