Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast
-
from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now, enjoy this message each month, we Endeavor, because the
-
Lord's actually spoke to me, he said there is a deficiency of
-
leadership in the earth and there's a deficiency of Your
-
ship in the church because the church has taken worldly
-
principles and brought them in and our training, their leaders.
-
And he says, you know, he says I need you to start doing some
-
leadership from the platform, he said you've been doing it with
-
those that are in layers of leadership in the body and you
-
give instruction which is a Biblical principle.
-
Jesus had how many disciples more than 12 guys right here.
-
He had to 70. Right?
-
So there were more, but we know the 12 disciples, right?
-
But of The Twelve, there were three that he spent a little
-
more time with then the rest. So, again, you know, the like,
-
well, you know, pastor does spend a lot of time with his
-
pastoral staff. Jesus spent a lot of time with
-
James, John, and Peter Right. So there are, you know, certain
-
layers, and Leadership. You have to invest certain
-
things and I mean he will literally tell the other nine
-
y'all stay here. I'm gonna take these three guys.
-
Right. Okay, you know that wasn't
-
favoritism. Nor was it.
-
God was respecting them more, he's not a respecter of person,
-
it had to do with their assignment, okay?
-
At the end of the day and then he spent more time with these
-
twelve. And one of them was a traitor,
-
but he spent more time of The Twelve than he did the 70.
-
That are mentioned, which means he gave them in some investment,
-
then just in general that, he would want them to come into the
-
kingdom of God. He would just speak to them in
-
parables. And they would make statement,
-
you know, he who has ears, let him hear, right?
-
So he's saying things that later on, when the spirit of God
-
starts to go through and begin to remind them of things, Jesus
-
says, and it will click. He said, the Kingdom of Heaven
-
is like I get it now and they would make Jesus Lord, right?
-
So again, it's not favoritism. Again, it's just layers of
-
leader, but the Lord said, you need to speak to the Saints
-
across the board about leadership.
-
You know why I believe that is? I believe it's because God wants
-
the wealth of the wicked. Be laid up for the righteous and
-
I'm telling you we are in some of the easiest seasons for this
-
to happen. Now, what do I mean by that?
-
I mean, customer service has plummeted.
-
I mean, some things that I'm trying to accomplish right now,
-
you know, just through the church and through my own
-
personal house. I mean, I'm like, man, if a
-
Believer could just get back to what customer service look like
-
a little bit, even better than Pre-K covid stuff.
-
I mean, some things, I'm like, I'm in a third world country.
-
It takes forever to get this. Stuff.
-
I mean, my wife was on the phone today because we're trying to we
-
are getting our gas stove, and it has to be plumbed, didn't
-
know that, right? But that's the term you have to
-
call a plumber to hook up your gas stove, okay?
-
And so, you know, I'm going to, they're going to do that, get it
-
connected, but they won't actually connect it to the tank,
-
the gas company. That owns the propane tank has
-
to do that. Well, they told her day, you
-
know. Well, you know, we'll get you
-
the schedule and I cannot tell you. when that is, Can't even
-
tell me. My wife is like can you give me
-
a ballpark can you please give me a ballpark?
-
You know, because not worse than getting it connected where it's
-
sticking through the wall and now I have a gas stove that I
-
can't even use. Which means I have to keep my
-
electric one in the garage I guess.
-
So we can warm stuff up. Hallelujah.
-
That's not convenient, right? So I'm like maybe we can ask the
-
guy, can he just put it together and technically you know, the
-
gas company. That owns the tank supposed to
-
do it, right? So we'll see if that's a real
-
technicality, I don't know. Anyway, I love you.
-
So, I'm just saying, if we apply these principles, then we'll
-
blow the world away. I said well blow them away and
-
they'll just keep coming to you because you'll become reliable
-
proficient. A person of integrity and
-
character person who does their word, right, who swears to their
-
own hurt? I mean they'll just come after
-
you. Hallelujah.
-
So that's just a nugget for you. Okay?
-
Last week we talked about chain of command and it kind of brings
-
me into the subject that I want to minister on tonight.
-
Maybe we'll go a little bit further, but I want to remind
-
you of a couple things about chain of command and the, and
-
that is this that there's a chain of command in the godhead.
-
Okay. We talked about that.
-
And in John, chapter 12, verse 14.
-
I'm just so that we can see this because it's going to help us in
-
what we're talking about tonight.
-
He says, is Jesus now, says for I Do not speak on my own
-
initiative, but the father. So there's father God, we know
-
that God is one but he's three. And one is God, the Father God,
-
the son and God, the Holy Spirit, right?
-
And so Jesus, speaking says, I do not speak on my own
-
initiative, but the father himself who sent me So who does
-
Jesus take orders from the Father?
-
Which tells us that when Adam ate the fruit fell from Dominion
-
sin entered the world, Jesus didn't jump up and say I'll go
-
save the day. Jesus turned to the father and
-
say what are you going to do? Cuz I'm not doing anything.
-
Unless you're doing something. Well then the father, you know,
-
comes down into the garden in the cool of the day and says,
-
Adam, where are you? Which is, I can't find you not,
-
where are you? But where are you, what position
-
are you in now? Right?
-
And ultimately, you know, Adam sells out on God.
-
So, it's your fault. You gave me this woman.
-
She ate the fruit first and then I ate it.
-
No, you were in rebellion and treason.
-
So we'll go on to your wife here and I'll come back to you.
-
So he says Eve was you do? She said, man, that the serpent
-
deceived And I ate the fruit. He said, okay.
-
Alicia told the truth. I'll come back to you and he
-
goes to the serpent. He says, now that you've done
-
this, I got a plan. I'm gonna bring my see through
-
the woman because she didn't lie, but you did deceive her and
-
threw her. He's going to crush your head.
-
I'm going to get the Dominion that Adam lost through another
-
seed, okay? And then he goes back to even
-
says, these are going to be your challenges.
-
Now that you, you know, didn't obey my my command and then he
-
goes to Adam and said because you didn't obey my I command
-
this is the challenge that you're going to have and then
-
love put them both out the garden.
-
Put them out of the garden. Love did that love says you're
-
out? Right.
-
Okay, so then Jesus now could say, well, I heard what the
-
father says, he says he's going to come through a woman without
-
the help of a man. So, you know, Adam and Eve may
-
eventually have had a daughter. The Bible doesn't record it, but
-
there are women recorded and by All rights when those women were
-
recorded, whichever this is the first one.
-
I don't know. Is the first woman, maybe that's
-
a little trivia. Now, recorded by Rice, they
-
would have been a virgin at some point.
-
Which means God could up, the father could have said some
-
right? There's the Virgin we're going
-
to show up in this this one, Holy Spirit going there, go over
-
there come upon her and impregnate her with the word
-
that will become flesh and we'll call him.
-
Jesus, didn't do it. Didn't do it through a few
-
dispensations floods. The planet.
-
Wipes out a race of people and starts over with Noah and his
-
family and they're still problems.
-
But yet the father is not rushed.
-
And Jesus is not like stressing. Jesus was not worried about
-
Humanity because he knows my father has this thing.
-
So let's go back to that scripture, then Jesus them who
-
was with the father in the beginning.
-
Because we know in the beginning, God created the
-
heavens and the Earth. And we see in verse 3 that God
-
said, because Jesus is the word in the beginning was the word
-
and the Word was with God. And the Word was God, that's
-
John 1:1. And in verse 14, says the word
-
became flesh. So that's Jesus Christ.
-
So then when the God, the Father spoke that's Jesus, he's the
-
word, right? And it said the spirit was
-
hovering over the surface of the Earth, he was waiting for the
-
word to give a command. And so that he could perform it.
-
So that's the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit In the
-
Beginning, okay? He said, for, I do not speak on
-
my own initiative, but the father himself who sent me has
-
given me a command as what to say, and what to speak.
-
So again, Jesus is not giving us a piece of his mind.
-
Nor is Jesus speaking. Emotionally disconnected from
-
the father. Jesus does not speak about all
-
of his problems. Jesus doesn't say, you don't
-
know how bad this is. Right.
-
Jesus attempted on all accounts, like we were yet.
-
Never sinned. Why?
-
Cause I'm only gonna say and do what the father says, which
-
means there is a chain of command.
-
Now, when you say it, just like, we're saying it right now, it
-
can seem like, wow this is militant.
-
Well it's not militant because you don't understand the nature
-
of God. God is life.
-
He is the source of life. So anything he says is for the
-
purpose because he is life, right?
-
So again, anything contrary becomes death and God can't be
-
around death, nor will he be around saying or Rebellion or
-
things and he'll crush it completely.
-
So you want to follow his word because that's the pathway to
-
eternal life period. So This is saying I want to hear
-
from the father and only say what he says because that's the
-
only thing that's going to get going to get the victory.
-
It's the only thing that conquers and overcomes.
-
So God is love. And so he knows what's best
-
because he's very well calculated.
-
In his words and his thinking, he just doesn't say stuff off
-
the top of his head and then go out, I didn't mean that.
-
God, the father doesn't do that, right?
-
And if we would have never lost our dominion and there will come
-
a time that God will set everything back in order in his
-
original intent. Which means we're not going to
-
just be running off at the mouth anymore.
-
We're going to be very adamant to say, man.
-
Holy spirit, tell us what Dad saying.
-
Right. Let's talk to Father, let's talk
-
to the father. So Jesus is excited to only say
-
and speak what he hears which means he was always submitted.
-
Right. Then we saw over here in John
-
16:13 it says this concerning the Holy Spirit and Jesus again
-
saying, but when he that is the spirit of truth.
-
That's the Holy Spirit comes, he will guide you into all truth.
-
He will not speak of his own initiative which means the Holy
-
Ghost. Could say what he thinks. he
-
himself like Jesus has a will That's why Jesus said in the
-
garden, father, if there's any way for this cup to pass, let it
-
pass, but not my will, but yours be done.
-
At the end of the day, I'm not going to try to do it my way
-
because my way is rebellion, your way is Life.
-
Okay? So the Holy Spirit, same thing.
-
He's not going to speak on his own initiative.
-
This is why when people come and say, well, the Lord told me
-
this, and if it doesn't line up with the written word, then I
-
know that wasn't the Holy Spirit.
-
And again, they can say, no, it really was, it was gone.
-
I mean, I know he talked to me. No, he didn't because he the
-
Holy Spirit, never says anything contrary.
-
To what the written word and context is talking about.
-
It has to stay within the character and nature.
-
Are you hearing me? Okay, so for he will not speak
-
on his own initiative but whatever he hears he will speak
-
and he will disclose to you. What is to come which means then
-
Jesus himself says now another verse says that he'll remind you
-
of things that I've said the holy spirit is here to reveal
-
the word. So he's not here to reveal
-
himself. I said he's not here to reveal
-
himself. In fact, the gifts of the Spirit
-
are in operation for the revealing of the word.
-
So that the word can be revealed in a person I've just because
-
someone gets a word of knowledge about something going on,
-
someone's personal life is so that God is letting them know.
-
I know what's going on. I just spoke to you by the
-
spirit through someone about what's going on that only?
-
I would know and you would know, but then they typically are
-
giving a word that then can help you change your situation or
-
something to stand on. I mean to know what's going on
-
in Kirk's life, just to read his Male, I mean, psychics can do
-
that because familiar spirits know what's going on, but when
-
the real gift of the word of knowledge is in play it, so that
-
the word are the spirit can reveal.
-
Jesus is answer to your situation, or to confirm, maybe
-
something going on that, all these Bears already told you on
-
the inside. But for whatever reason, you
-
need a little bit more. Now, when I say for whatever
-
reason, It may not be a lack of you not trusting God.
-
It could be that God wants to submit that thing I know because
-
I was I didn't know what it meant to be led by the spirit
-
nor was I even baptized in the Holy Ghost so I didn't have a
-
context. So when God called me to the
-
ministry, it was pretty Supernatural.
-
But it's stuck because I had not developed my spirit to know and
-
be able to hear the Holy Spirit well enough.
-
So that the inward witness are the Small boys was enough for me
-
to know I'm doing this. But when my windshield
-
disappears while I'm driving down the interstate in Atlanta.
-
And I see myself preaching before, see a people, it's
-
stuck. The vision stuck eyes light and
-
at times in my life, when I was thinking, this is too hard.
-
I just could do it this way. The vision kept showing up and I
-
was just come. I can't.
-
I'm not going to run from. I've got to go.
-
Back to that. I mean I'll my life's nothing.
-
If I do not try to obtain this because it became that aware.
-
But now I can hear God hear so well that I'm like this is it I
-
don't need, you know, a movie playing in front of me.
-
Now, I don't have to have a vision if he wants to give 15
-
but he doesn't have to because the voice is enough.
-
I said the voice is enough. So what if the Holy Ghost talks
-
to me than he's telling me something about Jesus and Jesus,
-
if that's a word from Jesus, then based upon scripture, it
-
came straight from the father and was so great about that is
-
the father actually has the final say to all things.
-
So Were the father has said about my life.
-
Nothing can stop it. But me And for you whatever God
-
has said about your life. Nothing can stop it.
-
But you boys, that's power there.
-
That's like thank you Jesus. Thank you.
-
Jesus. That I can accomplish all that
-
you've asked me to do and no one and nothing can stop it.
-
Not a human being though. They can try to try to hinder
-
it, nor the devil and all of his, you know, cohort doesn't
-
matter because they're under our feet.
-
Anyway, I mean, they're actually easier to deal with than humans.
-
It's true. I mean, it's easier to deal with
-
the devil and his I mean I want to, you know, face to face so to
-
speak level because they don't talk back.
-
Okay, but humans who listen to the devil, you know, start to
-
reason and keep pressing stuff and they're like, you know, I
-
can review the influence that's around you but you may still
-
keep coming. But then that's a problem
-
because then you find yourself fighting against God's plan for
-
someone's life and you don't ever want to do that ever.
-
Whoo, its dangers. Okay, so then because there's a
-
chain of command, right? In the godhead, we said this
-
Jesus, then who's always for all eternity because God's always
-
been Has always been in the seat of under the command of God.
-
Which means that he never aspires to be the lead.
-
So, we said this last week, then, where does the aspiration
-
to be the lead of something come from?
-
And it comes from the Devil. The devil is the one who wanted
-
to exalt his throne above the most high.
-
Jesus never wants his throne above the father ever.
-
So we should never aspire to have our throne above something
-
or aspired to be over people for that matter. .
-
We should aspire to want to lead through serving.
-
Because that's how you become great in the kingdom.
-
Are you hearing me? Because again, Jesus, addressed
-
greatness not leadership. Is it a few want to be great?
-
You don't do it like the Gentiles who lorded over, who
-
want to be the lead and want to make everybody serve them.
-
What they do. If you want it, then you going
-
to find yourself serving everybody, which means you just
-
have a heart that is saying about me.
-
What can I do to help you? Now, that doesn't mean, you
-
can't help because you got to give and take at the end of the
-
day, there's going to be a give and take God's going to have
-
someone serve you because it helps their leadership and
-
you've got to accept it but it's hard for you to accept it
-
because you just want to serve them.
-
That becomes the challenge. Can I carry your Bible know?
-
I care. Moll model, thank you.
-
Right. But I get it, okay, so God wants
-
you to start, okay? Here is, you can have it, I get
-
why it's happening, but let it be known.
-
But when you really understand the principle of kings and
-
people start serving you, then you'll find yourself even going
-
over and above their serving you to serve them.
-
All right, so then because there is this chain of command and
-
there's this position of submission that then leads to
-
Greater Authority than we must talk about a thing called honor.
-
In Romans chapter 13 verse 7. It says this render to all what
-
is due them. Tax to whom tax is due custom to
-
whom custom is due Fear To whom fear as do.
-
And I'm gonna focus on honor to whom honor.
-
And by implication, although it's not there but it's there in
-
the first to render to all what is what do them?
-
So some are due taxes. So why are you complaining so
-
much? Okay.
-
Now there's nothing wrong with finding legal ways to keep money
-
that affords. You buy your citizenship but to
-
complain about it. All right, custom to whom custom
-
Fear To whom fear honor to whom Honor by implication is do is
-
do. So there are Someone there are
-
whom's that deserve honor and we're obviously going to deal
-
with the one who deserves the highest tonight, right?
-
So in our kingdom Institute school that we have here, one of
-
our classes is the life of honor and in that we teach this honor
-
is the key to submission which is required to walk in
-
authority. Remember, last week we saw that
-
the Jury and says I'm a man. Also, like you mean identify
-
with you Jesus. And the first thing that he
-
identified with Jesus, and that he was under Authority, not that
-
he was in it. But he was under and because he
-
was under, then he recognized apposite The Authority.
-
He was actually in most of the time, we just want to know who's
-
in charge. instead of who's under, Because again, most
-
people want to be in charge and make people do what you tell
-
them to do. Instead of, let me find somebody
-
I can get up underneath. I need to find somebody I can
-
serve because I'm find somebody I can serve, then it helps
-
release my ability to lead. Because Jesus had Authority
-
cause he was submitted. Are you hear me?
-
So, why you've heard me say that I was I came underneath Ramos
-
organization because it allows me to submit Okay, but I can
-
ordained ministers through anchor Faith Church.
-
In fact, Pastor Roman and his wife, Pastor Carla are ordained
-
through anchor Faith, Ministerial Association, so
-
through that I could ordained myself.
-
Who is the president of the organization right now?
-
Again, it sounds good. When we say, well, you're
-
submitted to Jesus. Well, we're all submitted to
-
Jesus, right? But there is a level of
-
submitting to one another And if I'm going to be great, as he
-
said, I got to be the servant of all not just a servant of God,
-
okay? Which means then I need to find
-
myself serving somebody and their Vision, not just the
-
vision God's given me, which is why I became underneath Rhema.
-
Then because Pastor gave me more responsibility.
-
That means I'm more submitted Right.
-
I'm more submitted. Which means then there's things
-
that I do now and I don't, you know, I do because of my
-
submitted status and if Pastor ever calls me, a, my staff know
-
this, if he ever calls me and says, Pastor Earle, I need you
-
to be here. Then I'm making adjustments.
-
You said about because we getting this kind of like,
-
nobody can tell me what to do. You need to find somebody that
-
you'll yield to and say whatever they tell me to do I'll say
-
haha. Because it only causes whatever
-
influence you have in the realm of oversight to be increased.
-
And then you kick in the law of sowing and reaping, right?
-
And I don't do it so that I can be a better leader or by on a
-
selfish side. I do it because I'm submitted to
-
God's word and I want to serve somewhere.
-
So that in turn, you know, whatever he's asked me to do can
-
be the Most efficient. All right.
-
So then honor is the key to submission, which is required to
-
walk an authority on or simply means something.
-
So valuable that is held as precious prized cherished,
-
treasured valuable and very dear, almost say that again,
-
honor then is something so valuable that it is held as
-
precious prized cherished. Girard valuable and very dear
-
back in the day, you know, they didn't stamp, you know, your
-
currency so currency and even today, you know, we do have
-
certain metals that, you know, the value, there's a value
-
associated with bias weight like gold, gold is so much per ounce.
-
What is it today? 1800 1800 an ounce.
-
So that means if I happen to have 16 ounces and you have 5
-
ounces, which one has more value?
-
The weightier one. Right?
-
The one that has more weight so honor has the the context of
-
weighty or Great Value, right? So when we're saying we're
-
honoring someone we are showing them that they have great value
-
to our lives, right? Great Value to our lives.
-
And again, when you think of the Bible, when he says, the Kingdom
-
of Heaven, is like a man. Who found a treasure in a field?
-
Right. What did he do?
-
He went sold everything. He had to buy the field, which
-
came with the dirt. That he had to excavate.
-
To get the rest of the treasure, right?
-
So we see them because he it had such value to it.
-
It was worth him, selling out for it selling all he had to
-
acquire it. It was greater value than all
-
that he already possessed. Is what I'm saying, is there any
-
one in your life? That you hold at such honor that
-
you would sell out for. Well, I hope so his name should
-
be Jesus. And we need to check that
-
because a lot of times, maybe we don't sell out.
-
Me how much value do we actually put on Jesus?
-
Now, I'm not going to talk about that tonight.
-
I'm Gonna Keep it super positive, right?
-
This is super positive service, amen.
-
So if honor is given to someone or something, or if honors give
-
it to something or someone it they will be seen as valuable or
-
Irreplaceable. Irreplaceable.
-
Right. How about you Bulls are In the
-
natural light. Can't live without it.
-
Right? We sucked it out of the room
-
right now man. But do we honor it?
-
I mean, most of the time we don't even think about it.
-
We just breathe it. We have no Thanksgiving towards
-
it. Okay, Revelations chapter 5
Revelation 5 chapter mention
-
obviously we want to honor the Lord, do we?
-
Not look what it says in Revelation chapter 5 verse 12
-
and 13. It says in saying with a loud
-
voice Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and
-
riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.
-
So, he is to receive what honor and every Anything, which is in
-
heaven and on the earth and under the Earth and on the sea
-
and all things in them. I heard saying to him who sits
-
on the throne and to the lamb be blessing and honor and what
-
Glory How and Dominion forever and ever, how valuable is Jesus
-
to you right now? I mean walk, what kind of Honor
-
are we showing to the king? We're kind of honor.
-
Is that where are we at in our honor with the king with the
-
king, with the king, with the king, the savior of Our Lives?
-
The one who was slain come on second Peter 1:17 look what it
-
says here. Second Peter, chapter 1 verse
-
17, says it this way for when he received honor, this is talking
-
about Jesus and Glory from God the father.
-
So Jesus received honor from the father such an utterance as this
-
was made to him by the Majestic Glory.
-
This is my beloved Son in whom I am what well-pleased wow.
-
Right. Jesus himself said in John
-
chapter 5 verse 23 says so that all all will honor the son even
-
as they honor the father, he who does not honor.
-
The son does not honor the father who sent him and we'll
-
break that verse down later on, okay?
-
So Jesus honors the father and in turn, the father honors him.
-
And he's honored because he sold out to the will of his father.
-
Jesus had the same context. Dad has a plan for my life.
-
I've read it in the pages of the book.
-
Moses talked about me, Abraham knew about me, they are all the
-
scripture point to me and what I was to do for Humanity.
-
And so I laid down my life, I bought the field, I see Hold out
-
to everything. I allow I left Heavens realm
-
emptied. Myself of the glory of Heavens
-
realm, got clothes into a skin suit, became the son of man and
-
lived on the earth without sinning and then operated under
-
the power of the Holy Ghost to fulfill the assignment.
-
But father has had me do and I was very conscientious of always
-
do. Doing what I was commanded to do
-
because I was going to honor my father because he is the source
-
of Life, the source of life and because of that that he sold out
-
to that even death on the cross. Right, even death on the cross.
-
Now, when I say that many disciples have been martyred,
-
even Peter was crucified on a cross.
-
He said, just turn me upside down.
-
So, the cross itself isn't the grand statement because the day
-
Jesus was crucified two. Others were too.
-
But what did they do for Humanity?
-
Nothing. So, when G, when we say that
-
Jesus died on the cross, right, that he should deserve honor.
-
Well, what we really mean is that Jesus died to himself and
-
any desire to not fulfill the father's will for his life even
-
to the being separated from the father for the first time.
-
Because the man who knew no sin, what became ours.
-
And as he said, father, I'll take on the sin of all of
-
humanity. Wow.
-
And the father has to turn away from the Sun. and in faith, he's
-
like, but on the third day, The holy spirit's Going To Raise Me
-
Up. Whoo he's on Raise Me Up.
-
You know who else was raised up on the third day?
-
One of the thieves I said, one of the thieves because remember
-
that he says, would you remember me when you enter into your
-
kingdom? And Jesus said today, you'll be
-
with me in Paradise, we going to Abraham's bosom, then on the
-
third day, we gonna bust Paradise, whiteout wide open.
-
It won't exist anymore because when you leave your body now
-
your present with the Lord and he's not in Paradise.
-
He is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.
-
Amen? Right.
-
So he deserves honor. That's why he was given the name
-
of Every day. That's why he has the seat of
-
Honor. Jesus.
-
How valuable is he to you? Look what it says in 1st Timothy
-
Chapter 1 verse 17, it says now to the Eternal King Immortal
-
invisible. The only God be honor and Glory
-
forever and ever. Amen, wow.
-
How valuable is Jesus to us? Is he Irreplaceable?
-
Me, how valuable is he? I mean how much do we actually
-
honor him? What kind of value do we place
-
on him? Daily?
-
If he was the lamb, that was slain for our transgression and
-
we know this and we've accepted him as our substitute.
-
How much honor do we have? Once our daily thought.
-
Of him. What's our response to him?
-
How often is he in our thoughts? And how often do we demonstrate
-
our honor to him? Hallelujah.
-
Well, there is one extremely clear way that we are to honor
-
him. This is just one we're only did
-
with this one tonight. Okay.
-
Because I'm going to open it up for people to do it tonight.
-
All right, Psalms chapter 50 verse 23, says it this way, he
-
who offers a sacrifice of Thanksgiving, Honors me.
-
And to him who orders his way. Aright I shall show the
-
salvation of the Lord. Now that means to live a
-
righteous life again, seek first, his kingdom and his
-
righteousness. His way of doing things allow
-
his way to govern. What we think say, and do how we
-
respond to every situation just like our King.
-
I don't speak anything on my own initiative, but I only say what?
-
I heard the Holy Spirit. Tell me that only came from
-
Jesus, who is seated at the right hand of the Father in
-
Heaven, who was Listing to his father, to give me that
-
instruction in the first place. And I'm going to say that I'm
-
going to do that. I'm going to respond that way.
-
Amen, that's how I'm going to respond.
-
So I'm going to act. That's what I'm going to say in
-
these situations. I'm not going to do what I want
-
to do. I'm not going to be quick to
-
judge things. I'm going to be quick to speak,
-
right? You were supposed to be slow to
-
speak. Quick to hear slow to speak,
-
slow to wrath and we can all work on that, right?
-
Maybe we can all work on that because we getting situation
-
where things are going and you're like, you said, I'm
-
fixing to say right, you know, if I could bite my tongue as
-
quick as I could say a word, probably better.
-
Right back at ya don't say nothing.
-
Hold that tongue. Wait a minute.
-
Would Jesus say that, right? I mean, I have been in
-
situations where I've said something, Right, felt validated
-
by it only to have the still Small Voice.
-
Say should have said it. Now, you going to go get it
-
corrected. Because now you can't be silent.
-
So now you just like, well, I ain't gonna say nothing.
-
It's too late, you've said something.
-
This is a problem called will say something and then we
-
realize we shouldn't have said anything.
-
Now we don't want to say nothing, but our silence is
-
making it worse because the Holy Ghost is saying, you need to say
-
something like you were wrong and they need to ask, you need
-
to ask them for your forgiveness.
-
The quicker, you get that done, the better.
-
Now, they may not receive it, but that's not, that's not your
-
problem. You need to just do it because
-
if you to listen, Better the first time then, we wouldn't
-
have this other step, but the Lord's forgiving, man, the Lord
-
to do stuff. He's great, right?
-
Amen. Again we've all have the
-
thoughts, you know how many times I got to forgive this
-
like, Peter, should we do the seven times the Lord's life?
-
Seventy Times Seven man. At the end the day, you know,
-
you gonna have to forgive that's gonna have to do it when I do it
-
again. Amen, I just want life was a
-
shirt. I want, I don't want to fence
-
the one, all the other stuff that comes with it.
-
But he loves a sacrifice of Thanksgiving, honors me.
-
Now it's easy to give a Thanksgiving when everything's
-
going great. It's another thing to give,
-
thanks when it seem like everything is going wrong.
-
But when you honor God and understand the value of him, how
-
he has delivered you out of all your trouble?
-
I mean, has he delivered? Anybody has anybody been
-
delivered out of trouble, right? So when we get it another
-
situation, whether it's self-inflicted cuz we did it or
-
where in a trial because the enemy is trying to tempt us and
-
get us off course. And there's pressures trying to
-
get us to have a different kind of response.
-
We can know and God's gonna do this, he'll deliver me.
-
He'll hear me when I call to him.
-
Right? And so I'm just going to say
-
Lord You're so valuable to me. I just going to honor you And we
-
can honor him with our words. So I'm gonna open up for some
-
testimony tonight. Amen.
-
I'm Not Gonna Let You Preach as long as I do, but I'm going to
-
give some opportunity tonight. All right, so raise your hand
-
that way I can look around and see which one the Lord wants me
-
to do, right? I'm just talking get, it's not
-
open mic night. Right, we're not doing karaoke.
-
Amen. But, I mean, I want you to think
-
and I want you to give God praise Thanksgiving.
-
Right. Thanksgiving.
-
I see that hand. Anybody else?
-
It's gonna be pretty easy. If only one person raises her
-
hand. Okay, I see another one, another
-
one. All right.
-
Okay, good. I'm seeing some more.
-
All right, I'm gonna start over here with you.
-
Come on up. Yep.
-
Come on. Come on.
-
We're here to give. Thanks to God and he honors him.
-
What kind of value has he done in your life that you're like,
-
man I just I give thanks to God because of whatever this
-
testimony is fixing to give. We're going to be like God, is
-
that valuable to me? It's Irreplaceable what he's
-
done for me in this situation or whatever the case may be.
-
Alright, state, your name to everybody.
-
Okay. This is Brandon's not pass to
-
Brandon, but, you know, it could be his brother.
-
You just don't have as much gray hair as Pastor Brandon does.
-
I think that's a Brennan has more gray hair than all of us.
-
That's youth ministry today. You need a lot of wisdom.
-
All right. Go ahead before, you know,
-
before I had a Jesus in my life, I was an alcoholic and it was a
-
struggle every day to pretty much live and you know, be sober
-
if I even tried and you know, thank God has delivered me from
-
that and it was crazy. It was it's easy now.
-
It's it. I don't even have, I don't even
-
have to try. It's not, it's not even a thing,
-
you know. It's, it's effortless.
-
And I do, I think God for that every day because, you know, my,
-
my family, I'm sure, you know, I'm sure they appreciate it.
-
You know. And, you know, I really
-
appreciate it. You know me, you know, my, you
-
know, my mental health was way better.
-
It's better now. Yeah, for sure it was.
-
You know, I was, you know, you do not type person, you want to
-
be around? I got you.
-
Thanks, Brian. Appreciate it.
-
Hallelujah, amen. I mean to be an alcoholic, you
-
know, and David Mackey, stand up.
-
I'm not going to testify but David Mackey, how many years you
-
been sober. How many years you been sober
-
now 15 years, okay? 15 years he came to church, he
-
was an alcoholic, all those years prior than these 15.
-
So 15 years ago he was an alcoholic but whole Tom was he
-
started when he was really young and he just looked at me
-
actually kind of tap me in the gut.
-
He said he said pastor I'm an alcoholic.
-
I want you to pray for me, you know, kind of what like I want
-
you to pray for me, you know, like you do it, you know.
-
And he hit me in the stomach. And he walked out.
-
I even give me a chance to pray for him with him.
-
Our that is. So I did and but he had a desire
-
already, I just got an agreement.
-
I had a prayer of agreements. What I did Father in the name of
-
Jesus, take it from him in Jesus name.
-
And he put it down. Hallelujah.
-
See when people are really valuing their lordship.
-
What would God those things fall off?
-
15 years now, he's had marvelous opportunities to go back and
-
found the hidden stuff that he had from his wife for years that
-
he forgot where they were at. But the devil said, I'll remind
-
you now. Where they're at?
-
But he just dumped them out. Are you hearing me why?
-
Because he got the value of what Jesus delivered him from.
-
And light Brandon said, is he see why?
-
Because when he puts that drink up against Jesus, right?
-
You left Branden and David talked to some of the Casual
-
Christians that are sipping right now, they'll let that let
-
them know how silly that is. And again mental health while
-
close, when you're not sober any voice gets in.
-
I said any voice gets in. You allow cuz you're not staying
-
sober minded. Okay, Janet, come on up.
-
Who else? I saw a few.
-
Okay, I got a couple more good y'all getting bold now.
-
See, Brandon had to break. You loose.
-
Your tongue is what happened? Yeah, that's what you say
-
happened. Somebody knew everybody's been
-
here for a while and I know what you're thinking thinking, well,
-
they don't want to hear mine again.
-
God, may want them to hear. That's why have you raised your
-
hand? Because the Lord may say tell
-
David to come up again, the Lord didn't do that.
-
I met David stand up and told it but it was necessary for us to
-
share his as well. Amen.
-
And yes you are. I know that go ahead, Janet a
-
testimony is wonderful because if you hear a testimony, you can
-
grab a hold of that power and you can receive and I always
-
told the Lord if you give me an opportunity to testify, I will
-
because I'm so thankful in 1979 and I know it was 1979 because
-
my son was three. I lived on Thomas Street in
-
Orange, Gardens in Kissimmee and my son would dig holes in the
-
backyard. And I Here, the shovel.
-
So I knew what he was doing. So I was free and I was do the
-
dishes and listen to a guy on the radio who preached to had of
-
money voice and I was like, oh good.
-
Joshua's digging. I can go and I can listen to the
-
guy with the funny voice. And I prayed and I said, God,
-
this guy knows stuff. I want you to send somebody that
-
knows the same stuff to Kissimmee and the Lord sent.
-
The Reverend Gary W Jones who was a Rhema grad in 1982
-
Kissimmee but there's more because God is a god of
-
abundance. And if you ask him anything
-
believing in faith, he will answer.
-
And so Reverend Gary Jones, new two and a half years before I
-
did what my ex-husband was going to do.
-
And that I was going to go to Rhema.
-
And I went to Reggie Scarborough's Church on Martin
-
Luther King Day in 1997 and I, along with the whole bunch of
-
people there were called, to go to Rhema.
-
And brother Hagin said, when we're done praying, and I didn't
-
put this together until several years ago.
-
Go, I didn't realize the guy with the funny voice was
-
brother, Hagin brother. Hagin came and he said, when
-
we're done, praying you come up to forward, all of you.
-
So I got done praying and I went up and I laughed and brother
-
Hagin laughed and brother, Hagin laughed and I laughed.
-
And the Lord said, go to Rhema and that was 1979.
-
While I went to Pastor Gary at lunch, I went to a And quit
-
place and he 15 minutes away from Reggie Scarborough's church
-
and church members were there. And I said, I'm going to Rhema
-
and they said go tell Pastor Gary.
-
He's in the other room and I didn't even know he was there.
-
So I went and I said, Pastor Gary, I'm going to Rhema and he
-
said, I know God told me two and a half years ago when he told me
-
everything that your ex-husband was going to do and you're going
-
and then two weeks later, Jim Hockaday was preaching for
-
brother Reagan brother Hagin, and the Lord said to me go
-
sooner because I plan to get divorced and then go.
-
So, the Lord was telling me to go sooner in the only time to go
-
sooner. Was 1970.
-
Are 1997. So I went in the fall of 1997 to
-
Rhema trusting God, I left teaching for a year thinking
-
praise I get to go in the ministry.
-
I don't have to teach anymore. Haha, joke on me.
-
I ended up coming back to teach because that's what God wanted.
-
But I actually not only had the Lord to send somebody who knew
-
that guy. But the Lord sent me to the guy
-
and the time I was at Rhema, it was such a blessing.
-
It was so tremendous and Rhema grads.
-
At least, 300 500 or more have influenced my life and God
-
answered my prayer. Far more abundantly than I could
-
have ever imagined. It's awesome.
-
And I'm so thankful to be here, or I'm a grad in a Rhema.
-
Grat we're at Rhema the same time I was and you were too, and
-
so is chancellor Brian, and his wife, and God is so good.
-
And I'm so glad to be here. I'm so, Thankful because God
-
told me in a dream after I went to Kinder Louisiana, that
-
brother and sister Hagen were there and I had a dream and
-
brother and sister Hagen were a crew are not brother and sister
-
Hagen Pastor Mrs. Hagen Ware across the table in that dream
-
and to the left, there was a table in heaven and to the right
-
there was a table in heaven and the Lord said Rhema, is your
-
family to me and I'm so thankful.
-
Yeah, amen. Hallelujah See, when you want to
-
pursue God, right? Because he's that valuable to
-
know him, he'll connect you into the places and the people that
-
you'll flourish the greatest from I mean, I was called to
-
Ministry and 93 94. When I knew I was called, when I
-
had that Vision, I knew I was called to Ministry.
-
But I went to a Bible school out in Columbia, South Carolina and
-
you know, just was it the school.
-
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it per se, it just
-
was not the school for us, and it took a few years later before
-
all of a sudden, you know, I found out about Rhema and when I
-
went out there, I never heard a message, never heard the funny
-
voice from Brother Hagin. I had no context, I knew nothing
-
about them, I went on the voice of God.
-
He said this time next year, you'll be at Rhema and I went,
-
because I valued his assignment and I wanted to honor him which
-
means you leave. What you're doing, you leave
-
your job, your security, all that, the world could have
-
offered in that context, and then you go.
-
And then man set in five minutes of the first class, I'm like, I
-
don't even know the Bible. This is amazing, right?
-
And so God is so good. All right, where Steve at there
-
he is. Come on Steve, I was like
-
looking at the empty seat didn't come up.
-
No. Well, God is so good.
-
Good. He is good.
-
You know, some prayer requests, just take some time because
-
other people's will are involved in it.
-
But there's power in prayer. And two of the biggest prayer
-
request I had was for two of our children and I've got to see
-
both of them come to the Lord now.
-
Yeah, I like it. Yeah, I mean, I won't go into
-
details but you know, one of our daughter who comes here now.
-
So A member of the church and serve it into the church was an
-
alcoholic. Yeah and God has delivered her.
-
She's been free from alcohol for over a year and a half.
-
Now I love and God read her Bible and you know, and a
-
blessing. And then we have a son who was
-
away from God. Full of a lot of anger and hurt
-
and and so forth and you just got to keep praying for him and
-
probably a month ago. Now he gave his heart to the
-
Lord. He told me, he said, I wish we
-
had church more than two times a week, come on.
-
I could have gained and and he just loves coming here, he's
-
been a blessing to be around. He's getting his life together.
-
Getting his life straight. That's my son back there.
-
Gave gave wave at everybody. Yeah, the only reason he's
-
standing up is he's got a little pain here with Sciatic Nerve or
-
something. So he's better to stand up and
-
sit down and but but he's come to the Lord, his whole attitude
-
as Hearts changed, he loves church, he listens to you,
-
ladies that work. He's witnessing to those guys
-
that he works with. You go and letting his light
-
shine for them. So, I mean that's big when your
-
two kids are now serving. God.
-
Amen. Is he valuable, right?
-
Is he buyable Rihanna, come on up.
-
I have Brianna close this out. I understand, there's more but
-
Yeah, but we got another week. Go ahead is valuable so Todd and
-
I sold our house a year ago a little over a year ago and that
-
was a whole process. And so we've been we bought a
-
camper. Well we're actually been my
-
dad's came for for like five. It was yes.
-
And it was a great and small with four people and three dogs,
-
and a cat. So then we bought a bigger
-
camper to live in until we find a house.
-
And so we are looking and it was a process and Mama Mel was very
-
patient and awesome through the whole thing.
-
So, we were just, I was kind of getting a little frustrated and
-
frustration is not Faith. So I had to get my heart, right?
-
And I was in the shower because that's just where God talks to
-
me the most, and I was like, Lord, I just, you know, I really
-
want a house. I don't want to live in a camper
-
forever, you know. And there was one house open and
-
Elkton, and it was a new build and I was more excited about it
-
than Todd was, and it wasn't on as much land as we were wanting,
-
but it was new and no one ever lived in it.
-
And idea of that sounded really nice.
-
So we were going to potentially put an offer but it was like at
-
the price that you need to put in an offer, you know, you can't
-
like hesitate and but then the neighbors next to where our
-
camper is. Actually putting their house up
-
for sale and the Lord's like you should put an offer on that one.
-
And you know, I was kind of bummed to hear that because it's
-
an older house and it's really gross, but it was on more land
-
and ideally it was what more what we were wanting.
-
We just have to put a lot more work into it, which I didn't
-
want to do, but obviously, the Lord knows what's best.
-
So I would Got out of the shower and I prayed and then I woke up
-
in the middle of the night and I was praying some more.
-
And the next day I told Todd, you know I was like I really
-
think we should just put in an offer on this house.
-
Wants to go really low because it was peace crap and we knew it
-
was and so the first offer we put in there it was really
-
nasty. Guys, the first offer we put in
-
they didn't take it. They were like well we want you
-
to come up then our lender that we had at the time was like, no
-
way. We're not giving you more Or
-
like I said, I told Todd. I was like, I know that the Lord
-
told us to put an offer on this house.
-
So we just got to find someone else to lend us the money.
-
So we found this other lady who was like, oh yeah, no problem.
-
We can come up to that price. And so we ended up going up to
-
the prize and it was like, kind of a long even longer process
-
after that because they kept like wanting to do other things.
-
And then like the, you know, like the cabinets were weird and
-
the The inspector was like, you need to fix this on, like the
-
whole house is falling apart. Why does it the one cabinet
-
Corner matter? But anyway, we ended up getting
-
the house and it's a gut gutted. Currently, it was really yucky,
-
like we thought it was going to be, but it's are yucky house and
-
we love it. We are still in the camper but
-
hopefully we won't be in it forever.
-
So there is light at the end of the tunnel and We are so
-
thankful for our little soon to be clean house.
-
Hey, man, is he valuable at the end of the day you just want to
-
do the will of God for your life, you know?
-
Now all these testimonies sound a little different, right?
-
You know, I mean, you know, we talked about honoring God, a lot
-
of times we would think only that, you know, we're going to
-
give him. Thanks for again when we were in
-
this major issue and he delivered us but we should not
-
honor. God just when we're, we got in
-
trouble when he's getting us out.
-
Out. We should honor him because he's
-
so valuable to us in every Affair of our life we should be
-
Consulting him. So that's what's important about
-
the testimonies here, right? Is that at the end of the day,
-
we want to be able to say God, you're so valuable to me now
-
he's not just valuable because of the things he's brought me
-
through. You know, hit the first and
-
foremost thing that keeps us where we're like man I just want
-
to honor the Lord is that I was a sinner man.
-
I was destined for the Lake of Fire.
-
I was in Rebellion against his kingdom.
-
Hated everything about it. Wanted to do it my way and he
-
still made away from me. Love made away from me and kept
-
drawing me. To change right now.
-
I didn't have to change first but he was like you're going to
-
have to change and I'll do it for you.
-
Right. Just like Brandon, obviously,
-
God started drawing on him. He said, now, listen, I love
-
you, but you're not change, but I'll change.
-
I'll change you. I'll do it for you if you'll
-
trust in me. Now what is Brandon have to do?
-
Same thing, the David had to do to be sober for 15 years.
-
He has to literally never pick it up, never Pop a Top never
-
however you drink today, right? However, it is right.
-
You don't do. You have to do that part.
-
But God because of your desire initially he'll put a Grace on
-
your life that you don't need to have the desire.
-
It's not even a part of your thought, process, your whole
-
physical body. I remember one service we had
-
not too long ago where it was called out by Pastor Marcy.
-
That if you had some kind of addiction of some sort that God
-
would deliver you. And I remember I have actually
-
prayed over people who had caused some of the one of the
-
hardest addictions to overcome a cigarette, you know, nicotine
-
stuff to kick. I mean it's just like in your
-
fiber of your being, you know, in your bloodstream.
-
It's all throughout your body. So why they say people get so
-
addicted to cracks because it's oil base and it is stay in your
-
lungs. So that it, you could be without
-
it and then all of a sudden the oil in your lungs are start
-
moving and you'll start absorb it and you'll get where you want
-
it again because it's still there.
-
And I've prayed over some people with nicotine and the Lord has,
-
you know, instructed me. You command it to come out of
-
their pores, their skin, their sales there, you know, just
-
start naming parts of the body and while I was doing it, you
-
know, because I didn't know this, my dad smoked growing up
-
so I Didn't realize that nicotine had a smell to it,
-
right? And, and then after my dad,
-
passed away, a few months later, all of a sudden, I started
-
smelling stuff and I'm like, what is that smell?
-
Well that cigarette smoke on people.
-
I didn't know that because, you know, I've just lived with it.
-
It's just, you know, part of being, you know, growing up and
-
around someone who smoked all the top.
-
So I'm like, wow, that's what my clothes smell like all the time
-
anyway. But I so I'm familiar of the
-
smell. What it Start coming off their
-
bodies. And sometimes it would get so
-
strong. I'm almost was gagging in the
-
altar. I'm like, trying to hold back my
-
breakfast, because it is so pungent, but it's being released
-
and the Lord, and Essence was purging them so that their body
-
wouldn't crave, it, no more, which gave them time to get
-
their mental mind. In a place that they could
-
always overcome. Because when your body's
-
fighting against you too, and you don't have the mental
-
capacity to resist it. Well, then you go back and then
-
you hate yourself for it, right? Well, you got to renew your
-
mind, I remember, Kenneth Keith Moore Usher's, would you come?
-
I'm gonna do an alter call here in a second.
-
So our altar workers. Would you come worship team?
-
He said, he was talking to a particular guy.
-
One day who came up to him in a Ministry line and said that I'm
-
smoker and I just really want to get delivered from it.
-
And he said, okay, He said, well, he said, this is what I
-
want you to do. He said, I just want you to say
-
from here on. I am delivered from nicotine.
-
From smoking. I am delivered.
-
He said, okay, he said you can you do that?
-
Yes. And I listen when you leave, I
-
want you to say I'm delivered from smoking.
-
Cigarettes. I'm delivered from nicotine.
-
He's okay. So now, when you wake up in the
-
morning, I watch the first thing out of your mouth.
-
I want you to say, I am delivered.
-
I'm delivered from smoking, cigarettes, and nicotine.
-
He said, now, when you get your Or pack of cigarettes and put
-
them in your hand. I want you to say, he said when
-
I'm holding in my hand. Yeah, he said.
-
Now, when you pull your cigarette out tomorrow, I want
-
you to say something. When I'm pulling it, I see ya.
-
He said, when you light your next cigarette, he said, when I
-
Lacey, I want you to say, I am delivered from smoking.
-
He said, when you pull your first drag, I want you to say,
-
he goes when I'm smoking it. I want you to say, I'm delivered
-
from cigarettes because he knew he didn't have faith to be
-
delivered. But he was trying to get his
-
mind to keep speaking a confession of Faith.
-
Till it came alive, in his spirit and he said about two
-
weeks later, the guy went to pull one out again, and he kept
-
saying it, just like you said, I'm delivered.
-
It registered. He goes, I am delivered and he
-
threw it down and never smoked another one.
-
Now, in faith calling those things that be not as though
-
they were Hallelujah. But then when God gets involved
-
and pulls it out of your body, Well that's that's pretty
-
Supernatural. The Bible says in him, we live
-
and breathe and have our being, we need to honor God.
-
And I'm going to say it this way.
-
We're really not honoring him. Like we think we are.
-
Because giving thanks to him is honoring him, but it's not the
-
only way. If we're not doing the other
-
ways then you're given a. Thanks may actually not be given
-
a things. Thank you so much for listening
