Message podcast from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now enjoy this message, a couple of Wednesday nights ago.
-
Pastor actually ministered on Kingdom seasons.
-
Do y'all remember that message? It was a Wednesday?
-
I believe. And, you know, and he shared
-
about just seasons and people's lives and that this is just kind
-
of a season. I don't know about you, but just
-
in the world, there is just we're in a season in seeing in
-
the world. Some things just shifting,
-
right? And being shaken.
-
And, you know, it's not like 1950s when everything was
-
beautiful. And all these happy little
-
families and all these things. It's not like in the 70s, you
-
know. It's not anything like the 80s
-
and 90s. No but we are literally in 2022.
-
Which when we were in high school we thought you know we
-
wouldn't that we would be driving you know floating around
-
and cars and stuff, you know, by now, you know.
-
But In this, the, the natural, you know, the Bible tells us and
-
I did not write this down in scripture but there is a
-
scripture that says that we would know the time and the
-
season. In everything, there's a season
-
and everything there's a time and we see in the world just so
-
much shifting and so much changing.
-
And, you know, if you are in tune with scripture.
-
And you know, that this is just part of the combination of all
-
things coming together, that's been spoken and prophesied
-
about. We know that.
-
You know, in the natural people do not even like change.
-
Right in the natural people are just people of habit and you
-
know they don't like change so when change happens people get
-
freaked out. You know they look they act like
-
they're losing control or you know they don't have a grasp on
-
things and so if you don't recognize the natural concept of
-
seasons and change, Then you'll miss what God actually wants to
-
do in the midst of change and seasons.
-
You'll miss what God wants to do.
-
Because in every changing season, or when change begins to
-
happen in people's lives, it's there for a purpose.
-
He is a god of change, you know, he is a god of Seasons, he
-
created it in the natural in the world, right.
-
But when we look at the world in the fall and state, we know a
-
lot of what We've seen changes through the years was never
-
what, obviously God intended, right?
-
Even with the, the structure of family, you know, just all kinds
-
of dysfunction and things that we're seeing in the world today.
-
This was God's obviously not God's original intent and his
-
plan for his man. But at the same time, we are in
-
this world that we're not of And in the natural we can see that
-
change is happening all around us.
-
I mean Society, all kinds of things have changed right there,
-
trying to change, you know, even Humanity, right?
-
Trying to change Humanity to what was a male and a female.
-
Now it's no longer considered that, right?
-
So all the way down to the nucleus.
-
Of what God created man to be anyway.
-
So we see all this change that's happening.
-
And and and and we can also say transitions, you know, we're
-
going to even in our government, we could transition from
-
democracy to Republic to or the Democrats to the Republic's, you
-
know, to Independence, whatever's, you know,
-
dictatorships socialism all kinds of things.
-
So like once you once, you may have known Society in a way but
-
then it could change. Depending on who gets voted in
-
and who decides, they're going to take power, those types of
-
things is when I'm talking about.
-
So there's always and it changes the whole system's change, his
-
whole system's, right of what's, what?
-
We once knew, you know, back in the day, all there was was home
-
schooling until they decided they want to Public Schools.
-
Right? So things change ways of life
-
change and all of this, you know, can be scary.
-
Fearful people get in fear whenever there's certain changes
-
that happen in the natural, right?
-
Well, when you're a Believer and you have a sure Foundation, that
-
is not that is unchangeable which is the kingdom of God then
-
In the midst of all of this, we can have stability in the midst
-
of change in the midst of seasons in the midst of
-
transitions, right? And in the midst of all of that
-
stuff, if we are on the foundation of the rock, then we
-
won't be moved now off of that rock.
-
But what happens is if you don't recognize where the Just coming
-
from, you could get moved off The Rock.
-
If you don't discern properly. Where the change is coming from
-
or what season you're actually in, right or that this is just a
-
transition. So, we know that in the seasons
-
and in transition and in change that if our foundation has been
-
built upon the rock, then we don't have to get moved off of
-
The Rock and actually the rock can Propel Us in the midst of
-
change. JH transition and season at, but
-
what I found is that, when people start to become
-
uncomfortable, because maybe as Pastor said, he used, you know,
-
the pruning, you know, I am the van Vine, you are, the branches
-
of band remains in me, he'll bear much fruit apart for me, he
-
could do nothing, and then he talks about the pruning side of
-
it, right out of John, 15. And he talked about how what God
-
there are sea. Zed's just even in the natural
-
with plant life. That pruning is necessary.
-
Pruning hurts in that season. But what happens, what's the
-
result if we recognize the season and what God is doing?
-
More fruit which Pastor talked about more fruit but a lot of
-
times what I'm seeing now in my years of 30 years being in the
-
church and seeing Christians, come and go, is that a lot of
-
people don't recognize their season?
-
And they don't recognize the timing.
-
They don't recognize the change that actually even in the
-
natural of change and different things.
-
Happening that God can even use those things for your benefit as
-
a child of God, As a child of God, if you learn how to discern
-
and what I found is most of the time when people feel uneasy or
-
if there's, you know, a stirring or change or something shifting,
-
people start wigging out and they start reaching out here
-
instead of reaching in here. They start reaching out here to
-
figure out what's going on with in here, when really it's within
-
here, that you should be searching and looking to, right?
-
And so when that happens, if we are sensitive to the spirit of
-
God, and we're sensitive to what's going on in our lives.
-
When maybe God's trying to get us to another place of change.
-
Get Us into another season of growth, pruning off some things
-
because during that season things don't feel good at all
-
and you feel like you're just, what have I been doing all my
-
life, you know, or whatever the case may be, but yet God's
-
trying to get you to another place.
-
But what happens is we've got to be sensitive to know that I've
-
got to look into here and hear what the spirit of God is
-
saying. So that in these Seasons, I
-
Don't miss my opportunity. I don't miss my opportunity to
-
go to another place that God really intends to take me
-
because no matter what the season one thing that I have
-
learned and the 30 years of my life, being a mess.
-
When I first got into this thing is that through every season,
-
through every transition, through every shifting and and
-
thing that God, Wanted to do. And me it was always
-
uncomfortable. Always uncomfortable which made
-
me have to dig in deeper. See most of the time when things
-
happen, they people get distracted with the way they
-
feel instead of dig deeper into. Okay, God, I'm recognizing there
-
is something that needs to be dealt with so that, you know,
-
whatever it is that maybe he's trying to get you to another
-
place where you never have to deal with this kind of situation
-
again in your life because he's ready to get you to a place to
-
Come. Well, I don't feel good.
-
So what do you have to do? You have to dig in deep and say,
-
Lord, you show me you speak to me, you give me what I need in
-
the season because I see all these other things and they
-
could look crazy, and it could be a distraction and it can seem
-
like I don't even know what the world I'm doing, but I know
-
you're doing something in me. You're doing something in me and
-
I'm going to look to what's on the inside and not all these
-
circumstances are all these things that are going on, right?
-
And so if we properly discern and if we prophesy, so with, you
-
know, this is where pastor had ministered years ago, don't get
-
lost in transition. You can get lost in transition
-
when really God is wanting to put you to another elevation or
-
another place in him. Right, but so many times we let
-
transition we let different seasons.
-
We let change get us off of where God actually wants to
-
propel Us in the midst of us feeling uncomfortable.
-
Amen. So I said all that to say I
-
guess, Is that in every season, God is faithful.
-
I mean, time and time again. Time.
-
And when everything else is shaken, you can have stability.
-
And the number one way that you show stability in times of
-
change or Different Seasons or transition, is that you stay
-
with the word, you stay with the Lord and you don't let any any
-
of these things get you out of the number one place, you must
-
stay to remain. If you remain in me, right?
-
So we can't let things situations, heartaches
-
disappointments, you know discouragement you know all
-
these kind of things get us off of remaining in what we do know,
-
because he's supposed to be. The one thing that is unshakable
-
in your life, which will mean that then you, as a Believer
-
would be stable in every season. You're stable, you're reliable,
-
you're solid, you don't let anything get you off.
-
You are constantly in a place of growth and propelling forward
-
because in everything you just choose to keep one foot before
-
the other and dig in and dig deep and say Lord you what are
-
you trying to do? What are you trying to change?
-
What are you trying to speak? To me about in the midst of all
-
of these things that are talking to try to get me off?
-
Off or distracted, or right? Because I've seen too many
-
people fall off when God's really actually changing
-
something to propel them to another place.
-
So, in every season, he's faithful in every change.
-
He's faithful, if you keep your focus on him, Right?
-
If you keep your focus on him. So the title of my message
-
tonight is help yourself. Just help yourself, have you
-
ever been to, you know, someone's home and, and they've
-
come to visit you and they come in your door and you just say,
-
help yourself, you know, make yourself at, you know, you're
-
welcome, you know, help yourself to anything.
-
Anything. You need just help yourself,
-
help yourself. Right.
-
So this scripture, the Lord has been speaking to me on since
-
July. And I've shared it in prayer but
-
I want to share it tonight to the body.
-
It's out of Philippians chapter 1 and verse 19. he says this
Philippians 1 chapter mention
-
for, I know that this shall turn to my salvation, Through your
-
prayer and a supply of the spirit of Jesus Christ.
-
This shall turn for your salvation through your prayer
-
and a supply of the spirit of Jesus Christ.
-
So, how are we going to help ourselves?
-
We're going to have to pray. and tap into the supply of the
-
spirit in every season, we're going to have to pray and we're
-
going to have to tap into his spirit in every season in
-
anytime you're feeling something change shifting or you feel
-
uncomfortable. Listen.
-
That's nothing like most people that have anxiety or panic
-
attacks. A lot of times that's not true.
-
They're just anxious because God is actually wanting to try to do
-
something in them. I'm not saying that some panic
-
attacks may not be real and blah, blah blah.
-
You know I'm not a psychologist but he is and he said that
-
through me. so, a lot of times when there's anxiousness or
-
restlessness, Or things happening.
-
We usually think that it's something bad or something's
-
wrong. When all along it could be the
-
Holy Ghost trying to tap on the inside of us to actually discern
-
and tap in and go deeper and say, okay what is this?
-
Why is there this restlessness? Why am I feeling anxious about
-
some things? Right?
-
Because it may not be what you think it is and what they label
-
it may be. It may be God actually trying to
-
stir up something in you to actually come to him.
-
Come to him. Okay.
-
So he says listen I know that this is going to turn out to my
-
salvation. Pastor mentioned this, I believe
-
it was on Sunday that when you get saved saving of Jesus Christ
-
goes on and on and on and on you're going to be in situations
-
throughout your journey in your life on Earth that you're going
-
to need him to save you out of your problem and deliver you.
-
Right. So here's Paul, he's talking,
-
you know, to the Philippian Church writing a letter because
-
he's actually in prison, right? He's in prison right here in
-
chapter 1 and so he's letting them know, listen, even though,
-
I'm in prison, I know that when I come out, I'm going to be
-
bolder, he actually said that. I'm going to be bolder.
-
So what am I saying? So here he is.
-
Something that you would think. Oh my gosh, he's in prison.
-
How many of us want to be in prison?
-
But yet Paul, recognized that it made, you I'm going to learn how
-
to what be content in every situation.
-
He says know what, no matter what's going on.
-
If he's got me in prison for proclaiming and preaching Jesus
-
Christ, and guess what? He said, then the the prisoners
-
are going to get saved. The jail workers are going to
-
get saved read it. Philippians chapter 1.
Philippians 1 chapter mention
-
He said, all I know is that Jesus Christ is going to be
-
known. His name is going to be
-
propelled and the suffering that I may be encountering right now,
-
the place that I'm in, that feels a little uncomfortable
-
right now. I mean, really, I thought I was
-
going to be arrested for preaching the name of Jesus.
-
You know, there was some suffering, there was some things
-
happening in his life. It could have been a little
-
uncomfortable. We know that Paul was in the
-
bottom of the jail cell. where the poop and the rats and
-
everything else were but he said in the midst of this season that
-
I'm in here, guess what? Jesus Christ name is gonna be
-
proclaimed. He's gonna be glorified.
-
I'm not gonna come off and actually when I come out I know
-
I'm going to come out even Bolder to Proclaim his name.
-
So if Paul in the midst of what he was going through and feeling
-
uncomfortable, what we deal with in the little uncomfortable that
-
we have to see from day to day and, and go through is nothing
-
compared to that. But he said, let me tell you
-
this, I know that it's going to turn out for my salvation, it's
-
going to turn out for me, whatever it is that's happening.
-
And whatever I'm in right now, it's going to turn out what
-
because what the Opens for bad. God, can what turn it to good?
-
For those who love him and are called according to his purpose?
-
So he can turn it around but Paul recognized that it's only
-
going to happen through prayer. This is what I'm saying.
-
When things start getting shaky, you ought to be right getting on
-
your knees. Not literally, do you have to
-
get on your knees? But that's that terminology,
-
right? It's time to start praying.
-
It's time to start tapping into a supply of the spirit in the
-
seasons. And recognizing that.
-
If I can press through this, there is a full supply of
-
everything. I have need for whatever it is
-
that I'm going through in this season, in this transition, in
-
this change and the change, no matter what it is, can be
-
changed for good. If you choose to stay on the
-
rock, Right. It can be good.
-
So he said, listen, it's through prayer and the supply of the
-
spirit, that's why I say help yourself, you've you you, as a
-
Believer should already know how to pray you, as a Believer
-
should already know the third person of the godhead lives on
-
the inside of you and that he wants to come upon you and feel
-
you and do you with power from on high and fill you with the
-
Holy Ghost. So that not only do you You know
-
how to pray in the natural, you can pray in the spirit.
-
Because you have your prayer language.
-
So, these are times that I'm telling you, there is a
-
necessity that we must be people that know how to pray and tap
-
into the supply of the spirit in these situations right of in the
-
transition and in the things that we're going through.
-
Now, let me read that out of the Amplified.
-
It says there's four I know with confident that this will turn
-
out for my Deliverance. And spiritual well-being.
-
Now, he's in prison. You know, he's already been
-
beaten, he's in prison but he said this is going to turn
-
around. This is going to turn out for my
-
deliverance and my well-being, my what spiritual well-being,
-
this is what our spiritual well-being.
-
That's why he could say I'm going to be bolder when I get
-
out. This is just going to make me
-
stronger. What doesn't kill me?
-
What makes me stronger? Write it in.
-
Haven't you ever heard that term?
-
So he says it's through your prayers and the super abundant
-
supply of the spirit, which upholds me.
-
Hallelujah! There is a supply of the spirit
-
for us to tap into and these last days and in the situation,
-
with the church as a whole and all the things that are taking
-
place across the body of Christ, there is a super abundant supply
-
of the spirit if we'll just happened to it for this day and
-
for this hour that we can be bolder and we can be stronger
-
when the world's trying to shut every form of God, out of our
-
nation, we can be stronger and we can be bolder if we'll just
-
go through the changes that God's trying to do in our life
-
if will just allow him to prunus if will allow him to have some
-
things that maybe feel uncomfortable in my life so that
-
I can get to another place of boldness because we're going to
-
need it in this last day. We're going to have to know what
-
we believe. We're going to have to know what
-
we believe, but not only know what we're going to have to
-
speak. What we believe.
-
And we're going to have to be bold in the midst of people
-
wanting to let you know what you think.
-
You don't know. Right?
-
We're going to have to be bold so let's read it out of the
-
passion translation, it says. Because I know that the lavish
-
supply of the spirit of Jesus, the anointed one and your
-
intercession for me will bring about my Deliverance.
-
So this is not just Now, I lay me down to sleep.
-
I pray, the Lord, my soul to keep Our Father, which art in
-
heaven, Hallowed Be Your Name, Your Kingdom Come your will be
-
done. No, this is talking about real
-
prayer. Knowing how to have Throne Room
-
activity, knowing how to talk to the father come on, knowing how
-
to intercede and bring intercession in the midst of
-
circumstances and situations that you're going to encounter
-
or that you may be in intercession.
-
He's not talking about some little, thank you, Lord, for
-
this day and bless me and my four and no more and no, we're
-
talking about real prayer. We're talking about
-
intercession. Amen, to be able to tap into the
-
spirit and that supply that he has for us to be able to
-
overcome anything. We are Overcomers, we are
-
Overcomers, no matter what. It may look like.
-
If we learn how to tap into prayer and the spirit of God, we
-
will overcome every every Everything anything and
-
everything. Will overcome attacks.
-
Will overcome right? Depression.
-
Will overcome mental instability?
-
Will overcome? Come on in me thing.
-
Any insecurity. Anything that we may be dealing
-
with, Anything we can overcome, there is nothing that we cannot
-
overcome. And it's sad.
-
I have we have to remind people of that.
-
There is nothing that you and God cannot overcome.
-
Nothing is too big for him. Nothing at all right.
-
Listen to what Psalms 34 and 17 says, why do I want to say this?
-
Because listen, he said, I know that this will come out for my
-
deliverance, and we must recognize it says that in Psalms
-
34 17, when the righteous Cry for Help.
-
The Lord, what? They cry for help.
-
Help yourself. They cry for help but the Lord
-
hears them and what delivers them out of all of their
-
distress and their trouble. He delivers them out of all.
-
All their distress. That means stressed.
-
All the stress that we hear everybody talk about.
-
Well, I'm just stressed. I'm stressed.
-
I'm stressed, I'm stressed. I'm stressed and he lets us know
-
here that he can actually Deliver us out of that stress.
-
He can deliver us out of stress and what troubles, any kind of
-
trouble. You're having he can deliver you
-
out of it if you just ask him for help.
-
How many of us are not taking the time to really ask for help?
-
That's just the bottom line. We're being lazy.
-
We want to go through a McDonald's drive-thru.
-
And get some french fries and a Happy Meal.
-
Let's just say that Happy Meal. To be happy in 2 minutes.
-
That is not how our God works. It's a false sense.
-
It's a delusion to think that that's how he works.
-
No. It's a process of trusting of
-
growing of knowing him of pressing in to him to find out
-
what it is. We need from him to help us with
-
Right. And so he goes on to say this in
-
Psalms 54 and versus 7 for 37. It says behold, God is my
-
helper. The Lord is the sustainer of my
-
soul. And then when you drop down to
-
verse 7, it says this for, he has delivered me out of all of
-
my trouble. And my eye has seen its desire
-
upon my enemies. So here, he lets us know in
-
Psalms listen, The Lord hears your cries and he can deliver
-
them out of all of your troubles, right?
-
But then he goes on in verse 7 and shows you, he has delivered
-
me out of them. And that what it says he has So
-
the he had some troubles, he went to the Lord, he cried to
-
the Lord. The Lord helped him and
-
delivered him out of them. Amen.
-
You didn't, he didn't have to stay in it.
-
He was delivered out of it because he went to his source to
-
his help to the helper on the inside.
-
Amen. Now, let me read that.
-
Let's look at the Holy Spirit a minute.
-
Okay, talking about the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.
-
Cause he said, listen the only way we're going to get through
-
this and come out bold on the other side and be delivered from
-
these things is if through prayer and intercession and
-
tapping into the spirit, right? So in John 14, chapter 14,
-
chapter 15 and chapter 16. This is where you begin to learn
-
about the third person, of the godhead who is the Holy Spirit.
-
He's called our helper. He's called our helper.
-
This is why I say help yourself. Help yourself.
-
He's right there on the inside, go ahead and help yourself to
-
the Holy Ghost on the inside tap into him, so that he can bring
-
the deliverance and the supply that you need in this time.
-
Amen. So, John 14, 16 17.
-
I want to read this and I will ask the father and he will give
-
you a what another helper. He'll give you a helper.
-
We know that word is paraclete. I'm going to read it out of the
-
Amplified because it breaks it down.
-
Perfect about what the helper actually is the comforter.
-
Does anybody ever getting a place where they just need God
-
to comfort them? Guess what?
-
Just help yourself. Just help yourself.
-
He's the comforter how about Advocate come on and then here's
-
that word intercessor again. So he's letting us know that
-
through our prayers of intercession we can tap into a
-
supply of the spirit that we need but he also lets us know
-
that the spirit is the intercessor on the inside of us.
-
So help yourself. Just help yourself.
-
Come on, anything you have need of, there's a full Supply from
-
the spirit, the counselor. Oh, you don't know what you need
-
to be doing or you need some mental health care or come on?
-
You have you have a counselor on the inside?
-
Help yourself. You don't need.
-
Help yourself. He's saying just help yourself.
-
I'm there as a counselor. I'm there.
-
How about this? As a strengthener?
-
How about this as a standby? Hallelujah, to be with you
-
forever. The spirit of Truth whom the
-
world cannot receive, they cannot help themselves.
-
But you can help yourself. You can help yourself.
-
We ought to be so radically different than the world and the
-
way they act and the way they behave and the way they dang
-
think Hallelujah, completely different.
-
We have the third person of the godhead on the inside of us, and
-
we are not helping ourselves. We're not helping our self.
-
So the world can't receive it and take it to his heart because
-
it does not see him or know him but you know him because he the
-
Holy Spirit remains with you continually and will be in you
-
John 15:26. But when the helper The
-
comforter, the advocate, the intercessor counselor
-
strengthener standby. Paraclete is the Greek word,
-
Right comes not parakeet. Paraclete comes whom I will send
-
to you from the father. That is the spirit of Truth who
-
comes from the father. He will testify and bear witness
-
about me. Hallelujah.
-
Now, John 16:7 and 8. However, I am telling you
-
nothing, but the truth. When I say it is profitable good
-
expedient or advantageous for you that I go away.
-
Jesus said listen, it is to your advantage.
-
Advantage. Now that I'm putting the third
-
person of the godhead in you, I've going away so that he can
-
come so that he can help you so that you can help yourself.
-
Just help yourself because as I've said before, God is not
-
going to help you. God has already done everything,
-
he's going to do, he established the Earth?
-
He put man in it, he gave me an authority over this Earth.
-
He already you know redeemed Man by what sending Jesus to the
-
Earth to get man back into a position of authority and
-
rulership. Over the Earth.
-
Jesus is not going to help you. Jesus already helped you by
-
pouring out his blood on The Mercy Seat to give you access to
-
the throne so that you can make Throne Room activity.
-
Jesus has already done everything.
-
He walked in the Earth as a man. He died Heroes come on and then
-
he said it is finished. His assignment, his purpose was
-
finished, but guess who's still in the Earth?
-
Because Jesus said, I must go so that he can and where does he
-
come? He comes to make his Abode in
-
man when you call on his name. So now it's actually up to you
-
and the Holy Ghost. To participate with one another.
-
Come on to participate with one another, to get things done.
-
To get things done to get things done and you.
-
To get things done in the earth through you.
-
Amen. So help yourself.
-
Help yourself. so, he said, I must go so that he can come
-
Because I do not go away. The comforter counselor helped
-
her advocate intercessor streets.
-
And her standby will not come to you and to close fellowship with
-
you, but if I go away I will send him to you to be in close
-
fellowship with you and when he comes, he will convict convinced
-
the world and bring demonstration to it about Sin
-
righteousness, uprightness of heart, and right standing with
-
God and about judgment, that's another whole nother subject,
-
but we're not going to talk about that.
-
That. So I want to look at what he
-
said here as a comforter. And counselor because there's so
-
many times with the Holy goes, that's living on the inside of
-
us. He's always prompting the Holy
-
Ghost. If you're a child of God and
-
you're in church and you're hearing the word, the Holy Ghost
-
job is always to be prompting you on the inside.
-
The Holy Ghost is always prompting.
-
Always speaking always trying to get your attention.
-
Always always. There's never a Time unless
-
you've hardened yourself, right? And blaspheme that that he's not
-
trying to get you to a place of understanding who he is more,
-
right? And who you are more in him.
-
So as the comforter he's one that brings you comfort, right?
-
So what am I saying that? No matter what's going on in
-
your situation. When you feel like You need that
-
Comfort. We've said this before.
-
You can't go find that comfort. In the things of this world, you
-
can't find that comfort in a relationship.
-
You can't find that comfort in, you know, food.
-
Have you seen the 600-lb, you know?
-
Show And most of the time they're comforting themselves
-
with food because of an issue, right?
-
Most of the time. So people are trying to find
-
comfort and security right there, trying to be feel secure
-
because things are changing or shifting or whatever the case
-
may be, and he's letting us know.
-
Listen, if you'll just tap into the supply of the spirit for
-
that Comfort, I'll give you the right thing.
-
And you won't move over into the wrong thing.
-
That's actually going to destroy you even more, right?
-
But the holy spirit's there to comfort.
-
You write. The Advocate is one.
-
That's there to argue your case for you.
-
The Bible says in Revelations, that the devil is the accuser of
-
the Brethren. What does he's always trying to
-
accuse you right in your mind that, well, you can't do this?
-
Well, you're not going to be good enough for you, fail, too
-
much or We'll never be able to do this or you'll never be able
-
to do that. He's always accusing.
-
He's going up and trying to get you to get off of what God is
-
telling you, that you are. So he's always tried to accuse,
-
always trying to accuse but the advocate the Holy Ghost on the
-
inside, is there to help you to argue the case?
-
What's he going to do? He's going to remind you.
-
Another working of the holy spirit is going to remind you of
-
what the word has said. So, the Holy Spirit, then when
-
that's happening, could actually argue Your Case by bringing up a
-
scripture and saying now, say that devil it is, Written, it is
-
written, right? What's the word say about that
-
situation? When he says, no, you're going
-
to be broke? No, but the word says, because
-
he just argued the case, because on the inside, he said, no, I
-
have more than enough, right? No Lack for any good thing.
-
Or my God, shall supply, all my needs.
-
According to his riches in his. So he's always there as your
-
Advocate, working on your case to remind you of what God has
-
already said, actually, an advocate can be as one, you
-
know, when you go into a lawyer's office, there's there's
-
those that are called advocates. To help you in your case.
-
Amen. Then we see him as what, not,
-
just the advocate, but the counselor someone that gives you
-
advice according to the law. A counselor in the natural right
-
now, you know, and the definition they brought up
-
mental psychologists counselors, right?
-
Well, you know what, the greatest mental counselor is the
-
word of God. The greatest mental counselor is
-
the word of God. Is the word of God.
-
Now I'm not saying you don't need to seek counsel, you know,
-
from others may be that you know are a good source that actually
-
is going to lead you back to the word of God, not the ways of the
-
world and the way they think. And their psychology that you
-
shouldn't spank, your children are.
-
You shouldn't do this or you should.
-
No, my counsel comes from the word of God, right?
-
My counsel comes from the word of God, right?
-
So the counselor he's giving you advice, according to what is
-
written, So you know that if you're getting advice from the
-
Holy Ghost, it can never fail because his word will never
-
fail. His word is the only thing
-
that's going to stand and remain until the end.
-
So, whatever this word says it. Sure, wonderful Council.
-
And it's wisdom, right? It's not of this world and so we
-
have to make sure that we recognize that the Holy Ghost is
-
there to give you counsel but it's going to come in line with
-
the word. Amen.
-
The intercessor is a mediator. Intercessor is a mediator, the
-
Holy Ghost on the inside of you is, is a mediator.
-
What, how do we know this? Because Jesus Christ is what
-
sitting at the. Right hand of the father, we are
-
seated with him. And as that mediator, as the
-
intercessor as a Holy Ghost is they're taking orders from
-
Jesus. So, he is then interceding and
-
bringing those orders, from Jesus, about your case to you.
-
So that then you can have what you need from the Lord from God.
-
Right? You need, you have the answer
-
because he's that mediator. He's the one actually hearing
-
from Jesus to get Jesus hearing from God.
-
Then he's relaying that as a me. Mediator through the Holy Ghost
-
to you of what the Lord is saying about your situation,
-
right? The strengthener one, who
-
provides additional strength. I like that.
-
Additional strength, one who provides additional strength,
-
you know, because there's times you don't feel what you feel
-
weak, you don't feel like you're going to be able to make it
-
through whatever situation you may be going through.
-
I don't even know how we're going to make it.
-
I just need you know, but the Holy Ghost is there to give you
-
the strength to make it through. If you just tap in help yourself
-
to the street, there's more than enough strength.
-
He's got plenty of strength, and we know that other scripture in
-
Jude 1:20 says that when you pray in the spirit, you what
-
build yourself up on your Most? Holy Faith.
-
So praying in the spirit is twofold, you're praying in the
-
spirit to get direction, to get the words.
-
You need from the Lord in those times of Prayer.
-
When you don't know how you ought to pray.
-
You're getting direction, you're getting the word.
-
You're getting the information that you need, but then he also
-
has building you up, strengthening you at the same
-
time. It's a two-fold thing.
-
It's twofold. Because you're getting build up
-
as you begin praying in the spirit looking for your answers.
-
So when you pray in the spirit, listen it is not just, you know,
-
babbling off the top of your head.
-
When you pray in the spirit, your spirit, he's Spirit.
-
God is Spirit. I'm a spirit weak.
-
Immune, Spirit to Spirit. So when I'm spending time in
-
prayer, it's building me up. It's reminding me who I am.
-
It's making me realize, hey, I can do this thing, right?
-
I can do this, I can get through this, I can be strengthened with
-
additional strength and then he's our standby.
-
Listen, I'm on standby. Right?
-
You have are pilots what are they on their on standby.
-
So that if something happens to one of the pilots, or maybe they
-
get tired, or whatever the case may be, they have somebody else
-
on standby. Ready to what step right in.
-
He lets us know, the holy spirit is as our stand by He's right
-
there, Hallelujah, which goes back to God saying I'll never
-
leave you nor I will? What never forsake you.
-
I'm stand by. I'm always there help yourself
-
because I'm always here. I'm standing by waiting for you.
-
Come on waiting for you to just tap in and ask for help.
-
I'm on Standby, come on, I'm there when you dive go into the
-
three and four jobs trying to make ends meet When you're done
-
trying to, you know, do all these things in the natural that
-
you can figure out. I'm all stea by, I've been
-
waiting all along for you to just help yourself so that I can
-
give you the answer. You need.
-
You don't need to work for jobs. All you need to do is learn how
-
to tap into the full supply of the spirit for my God, shall
-
supply, all your needs. According to his riches and
-
Glory, come on, oh, your needs, of course, he was talking about
-
financial, needs there in Philippians 4 when you read on
-
down but he's He's letting us know.
-
They're all your needs. All your needs.
-
I'm old standby. I'm right there.
-
I have a full supply for whatever it is that you have
-
need of. All you have to do is help
-
yourself but we're not helping our self.
-
It's just like you know, he says I've prepared a table before you
-
before the presence of your enemy.
-
All these things are laid out on the table, help yourself, help
-
yourself to Healing help. Yourself to Joy, right?
-
Help yourself to, you know, provision, help yourself to
-
whatever it is, help yourself. It's all laid out.
-
We are not tapping into the helper to the help that we need
-
every day. Come on, he's right there.
-
He's off standby. He's ready to go, he's ready to
-
go, whenever you're ready. And all we have to do is press
-
in and say, yeah, everyday, I need help, Lord everyday, I need
-
help. I need help.
-
Every day. Thank you.
-
Lord, that the helpers on the inside of me.
-
Thank you, Lord. That you're giving me wisdom for
-
the day. Thank you.
-
Lord. Come on, whatever it is that I
-
need help. When I don't know how I ought to
-
pray. He says listen and Romans 8 that
-
I could begin to pray in the spirit with groanings that words
-
can articulate. But what am I doing?
-
I'm interceding. I'm pressing in to get the
-
answers that I need by the Holy Ghost.
-
Let me just Read that Romans 8:26.
-
It says, likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses.
-
There he goes. He lets, you know, when your
-
stroke when you're struggling with strength, to be able to
-
make it through another day. Come on.
-
I'm right there to help in your weakness for we don't know what
-
we should pray. I mean have you ever been in
-
that situation Lord? I've just done.
-
I just don't even know what I'm supposed to say what I'm
-
supposed to do. Help yourself.
-
Come on, just help yourself to the Holy Ghost on the inside of
-
you that standing right there by waiting for you to just happen
-
to a full supply of everything you need for an answer.
-
Everything you need everything for we don't know how we ought
-
to pray but he's there the spirit himself, what makes
-
intercession? For us with groanings, which
-
cannot be uttered. Hallelujah glory to God.
-
So I'm telling you, all we have to do is learn how to help
-
ourselves. Just tap into the Holy Ghost on
-
the inside of you start pressing in in this season of change and
-
things shifting in the atmosphere of all the stuff
-
that's going on in our world. I'm telling you we've got a
-
press in even more even more and say Lord I mean, come on I need
-
help here. I don't want to get off The
-
Rock. I want to be stable in the midst
-
of every season of Every transition of anything that
-
you're doing or anything that's going on in the world.
-
Right, because we know y'all know I've said this so many
-
times. that in the last of the last days of many Will fall away
-
from the faith and a lot of times they fall away during
-
these types of seasons. Of instability.
-
Of change of pruning of him, trying to prune of him, trying
-
to bring you to another transition in your life, many
-
fall away because they don't understand that.
-
If they would just look inward during that time and just help
-
themselves to the Holy Ghost on the inside, the greater one, the
-
greater one, the greater one that's on the inside of each and
-
every child of God. Laver.
