Kingdom of Power - with Pastor Marci Glisson

Now, enjoyed this message. So last week, we ministered on

it. We are a part of a kingdom of

boldness. Amen.

That we've been given boldness by the Holy Ghost, we've been

given, we've been made bold and that we are a part of a kingdom.

That is bold. Amen.

Not week, not broke down. Come on.

Not a a passive Kingdom that we're apart of nowhere.

A part of a kingdom that takes territory that fights, the good

fight of Faith. Come on, Hallelujah.

And so this morning, I want to go in that same vein.

That we are not only just a kingdom of boldness, but we're a

part of a kingdom of Power Glory.

To God, a Power Glory, to God, a kingdom of power, his blood,

still the same. Come on yesterday, today, and

forever. Glory to God in that path, that

blood still has power to save to heal to deliver.

Come on to sit people. Free, Hallelujah, from no matter

what the new term is this day that this world tries to throw

on people? You know, I heard somebody said

well you don't know how hard it is for people to get delivered

from Beth meth. I said, I know how easy it is.

Well, when you have a child that struggling with it you'll know

under snow know I know what the word of God says and Method.

Come on. That's mess.

Don't have anything over the name of Jesus.

Hallelujah, not one thing ever. The name of Jesus.

Come on. There's nothing new Under the

Sun that his name. Cannot come on, defeat glory to

God because we've got the victory.

Amen. Hallelujah.

So, I was reminded of something that I had read back during

covid. I gotta calm down glory to God.

And I read this by aw, Tozer. And he said, what a frightening

world needs is a Fearless Church.

What a frightened world needs is a Fearless church and it is time

for The Fearless Church to stand up.

Amen. Stand up in their boldness.

Come on instead up in the power of God.

They're still the same power. They save up to deliver and set

people free today. Say glory to God.

Hallelujah. This is what the world needs for

us to stop shy and back and being quiet.

But to get out and boldly Proclaim, come on, the wonderful

miraculous works of Jesus. Hallelujah, glory to God.

You can just get sick of being sick and tired of hearing.

What everybody smack mouth says. And it's about time, we get sick

and tired of it and start actually demonstrating what we

actually believe. If you really believe it.

Amen, hallelujah. So there's a frightened World.

Mark my words, there is a frightened world out there full

of fear. Full of chaos full of

perversion. And they need the Church of the

Living God to stand up. Hallelujah.

Because we see in First Corinthians chapter 4 and verse

1 Corinthians 4 · chapter mention

20. It says this for the kingdom of

God does not consist in words but in power, but in power not

just words, I'm Tired of hearing words.

There's plenty of words being taught all around, but there's

be no demonstrations of the power of the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah. And people need to see the

demonstrations come on to be in connection with his word because

his word is living. Come on.

Didn't we just here Hebrews? 4:12 his word is living and

active sharper than any two-edged sword.

Come on. His Word is Alive glory to God.

So let me read 1st Corinthians 420 out of the New Living

Translation. It says it this way, for the

kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk.

I'm tired of a lot of talk. Ha ha, it is living by God's

power. It's time for us to live by

God's power in our life. Hallelujah.

It's time to live by God's power and quit talking about it, quit

talking about it and start living by it.

And how do we know people are living by it?

Because people are being set free in there.

Their own lives in their own lives.

It starts with your life, first. Hallelujah.

We need to see a demonstration in your own life.

Hallelujah. Glory to God.

A kingdom of power and we must realize that we serve a powerful

Mighty God, a powerful, Mighty God, Hebrews 12:28 and 29 says

Hebrews 12:28

this, since we are receiving a kingdom, what that is

unshakable? Let us be thankful and please

God by worshiping him. With holy fear and awe for our

God is a consuming fire. A consuming fire.

We are in a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

But I've seen so many Believers that say they're in the Kingdom

shaking in their boots. Come on being defeated letting

things of this world, keep them bound.

And in fear, just like everybody else.

We were supposed to live above that above it and supposed to

be. A place that we know who our God

is that he is a mighty God. Come on.

That he is a powerful God. Glory to God.

Hebrews 13 says this the sun, radiates God's glory and

expresses the very character of god.

Let's get to the character of God.

He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command,

Hallelujah. The mighty power of His command.

And when he has cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the

place of honor at the right hand of majesty God in heaven.

Hallelujah later on. We know in Ephesians says, and

we are seated with him. Right there, we're seated right

there with him glory to God. Now, let me read a first

Chronicles 29. I want to quickly lay a

foundation. I want to get through these

notes. It's important that you see it

in the word because we can get up here and get the hoop on,

right. And seeing what a mighty God.

We serve it. You need to see it in the word.

Amen. You need to see it for your own

self in the word with your eyes. You need to hear it with your

ears. Come on, so that you can get it

down in your spirit and actually start believing this thing.

Hallelujah. So first Chronicles, 29. 10 and

12 says this. So David bless the Lord in the

sight of all the assembly. And David said, Blessed Are You

O? Lord, God of Israel are father

forever and ever. Ever yours O.

Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the

Victory. And the Majesty indeed,

everything that is in Heavens and on the earth, yours is the

Dominion. Oh, Lord.

And you exalt yourself as head over all both riches and honor

come from you and you rule over all.

And in your hand, is what if your hand is what in your hand

is power and might glory to God and it lies in your hand, to

make great and to strengthen who everyone Hallelujah.

Every single one of us can operate in this same power and

say, might that God Almighty has, we're going to see it in

scripture. Hallelujah, we know that Hebrews

13. 18 says this, what? He's the same.

What He's the what he's the same yesterday today and forever.

So if he has come on Mighty strength and power in his hand.

And guess what? He still has Mighty strength and

power in his hand today. This is not a dead religion.

Come on this, in those Allah life Kingdom.

That we serve glory to God. So we see that all through the

Old Testament, he did great and powerful and mighty acts, right?

We saw him split the sea open for the Israelites to cross

over. Come on, we saw Daniel not be

eaten up by the lion. Come on.

We saw all kinds of miraculous Mighty powerful things that he

did in the Old Testament. How about Elijah raising a bunch

of dead bones glory to God. Help out a Shh, stop in the

rain. Hallelujah, Great and Mighty

powerful, Deeds time and time and time again that we saw

throughout scripture. Hallelujah.

Oh and I could go on, I could go on and on But then, we go over

into the New Testament. And we see that Jesus, which is

the third person or the second person of the godhead, right?

And he did the same things when he walked in the earth in the

New Testament, we saw all the mighty powerful acts that he

did. Amen and he operated in that

same power. Not only did he operated it, we

see that then he gave that same power to his disciples.

Let's look at a couple of scriptures.

In Acts 10:38, it says this it says how God anointed Jesus of

Acts 10:38

Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with what power, who went about

doing good and healing. All that were oppressed of the

devil for God was what? What's with him?

God was with him. Is God With Us?

Is he Emanuelle? He is God in us.

God With Us. Come on.

God, all around us, God upon us. If we have been baptized in the

Holy Ghost, come on, he's with us.

Power is a part of his nature. Just like boldness is a part of

his nature but the in his character, but then he gave that

same character in nature to Jesus.

Come on. And we see that Jesus Is

operated in that same thing. Then, not only that he gave it

to the 12 disciples, let's look there in Matthew 28:18 and 20 It

Matthew 28:18

says this, and Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, all,

what power say it again? Say it again.

Say it again. I can't hear you say it again,

power, a kingdom of power that same power is given unto me in

heaven and on Earth, go, ye, therefore, and teach All

Nations. What baptizing them in the name

of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, teaching them to

observe all things. Yes, whatsoever.

I have commanded you, and lo, I will What I Am With.

You Always it. That what he just said, I'll be

with you. Come on until the end of the

world. How are we?

In the end of the world? Not yet, but people are acting

like it, Until the end of the world?

No, there's things to accomplish until he returns.

It's not time to sit back and Coast.

Come on because coasters aren't going to make it.

No, it's time to rise up in the boldness, that we know he's

given us and the power that we know that he also has given us

and start walking in that Authority.

That's been given to us. Not only that he gave in Luke

Luke 10:19

10:19, he gave the 70. So we have the 12 disciples but

then you know there's more than 12 there was 70 and he gave

those 70 disciples also power. It says behold And I give unto

you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the

power of the enemy God's power, trumps the power of the enemy,

come on. His power is not more powerful

than God's power every time. Well, you saw when Moses when he

was talking to Moses and how, you know, those that were in the

Witchcraft and W, jit magicians, you saw that gods, that that

snake ate there's up. It's a simple.

It's a type and Shadow. Amen.

Of the power of God. That's more power than more,

powerful than the enemies. So now is not the time to coward

to what's going on in the world. Not only did he give it to the

12 and the 70, we know he gave it to us.

But not only that, he gave it to Paul who was not one of the

original Apostles. So a lot of teaching is out

there that these this power or the gifts of healings and

miracles died out with the 12 apostles.

Right. That's a teaching out there and

why people think that it that same power, don't operate today,

but Paul was not an original Apostle, and he operated in the

same power and wrote and actually did more than them.

All he said, wrote more than half the New Testament and said

he did more than everybody else. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah, cuz he knew how to tap into that power.

Glory to God, let me breathe out of Romans, 15 18 through 19.

It says for, I will not dare to speak of any of those things,

which Christ is not accomplished through me in word and deed and

to make the Gentiles obedient in Mighty, signs, and wonders.

And by the power of the spirit of God.

So that from Jerusalem and roundabouts and like chromium,

y'all know that word I have fully preached the gospel.

All of Christ, this is Paul. He's talking he said, listen it

was by the power of the spirit of God that he was able to go

out and do the mighty works that he did.

Amen. And accomplish the things that

he was to accomplish for the kingdom of God, and we are to

actually walk in that same way. First Corinthians 2:4 through 5

1 Corinthians 2:4–5

and I'm going to read it out of the Amplified.

It says and my language and my message were not set forth in

persuasive. Words, right.

Enticing or Possible words of wisdom.

But they were what in demonstration of the Holy Spirit

and power of proof by the spouse of the spirit.

And the power of God, operating on me stirring, in the minds of

the hearers, the most holy emotions, and thus, persuading

them. So that your faith might not

rest in words of wisdom of men, human philosophy.

But in the power of God, God. In the power of God.

That's what we are to rest it. Our faith is to rest in the

power of God. Did you hear that?

Our faith is to rest in, not just the words, but the power of

God And if we've preached a powerless come on word, then we

have powerless people. Glory to God.

First Thessalonians 1:5 says this for Our Gospel, did not

1 Thessalonians 1:5

come to you in the word only in word only but also in the power

and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction, just as, you

know, what kind of man we prove to be among you for your sakes.

So with the power and the Holy Spirit, look at Mark 16, Mark

Mark 16:15

16:15, 20. All, who will believe?

If you don't believe God has any power then, guess what?

You'll be just like all the other powerless Christians that

walk around acting like the world talked in like the world

complaining, like the world responding like the world.

Come on doing everything running around like, the world when

we're supposed to live the Kingdom Life, which is a higher

standard and it's more of an advantage to us that we would

live the good life. Amen.

And operate in the good life. Mark 16:15. 20 says this and

Mark 16:15

then he told them go into all the world preach.

The good news to everyone. Anyone who believes and is,

baptized will be saved, but anyone who refuses to believe

will be condemned these miraculous signs will accompany

the apostles, These miraculous signs will accompany the

preachers. These signs will accompany the,

you know, the apostles and the prophets and the evangelists.

Nope. No, it's all who will believe

all? Who will believe all, who will

believe say, I believe, say I believe.

Now don't say it if you don't believe it's a I believe.

It says, they'll cast out demons.

In my name and they will speak in new tongues.

They will be able to handle snakes with safety.

Thou that does not mean in that, we're going to go around snake

handling. We're not one of those snake

handling church that's been taken out of context like a lot

of other things are. No, that means if any deadly

thing would try to harm you. Or it also means anything that

the enemy tries to throw out you because the snake represents the

enemy The devil, the serpent from old, if there is anything

that he tries to come against you with well, we know the Gates

of Hell cannot Prevail against what the church.

The enemy has no authority over your life anymore, unless you

let him, he's actually under our feet, you give him entrance, you

give him entrance. Into your life, through open, in

your, your door, to things that you ought not be doing and, and

exposing yourself to things. You ought not to be around.

Come on what happened to the day that we actually used to preach

that you ought to not be listening to all this crap.

You're listening to on the radio.

And you know what, to not be watching, all this stuff you're

watching on television and in movies.

Amen. Because that just is nothing but

it opened door for the enemy to use in your life.

We need to recognize that. We need to recognize it.

So, he says, they will be able to handle snakes with safety.

Yes, I said crap, because he actually says that in the Old

Testament, he calls it dung. I heard people like a Malaysian.

I just heard people like Jesus perceived in his heart and knew

what they were thinking. I perceived in my heart and knew

what you were thinking. Because it is what it is.

All this stuff. We're just opening the door and

let him get in our lives. When we need to shut the door,

shut the front door, right? And say, you're not coming in

here, no more. Come on.

Hallelujah. I mean, you know, Pastor sit me

down and won't let me preach If he if he don't think I should be

saying that word. And he says this and they drank

any in death, they drank anything poisonous it won't harm

them. It says, they'll be able to

place their hands on what the sick and they'll be what and

when the Lord had finished, this is just for who all who believe

when they finish talking with them, he was taken up into

heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God's right hand.

And the disciples went, where everywhere and preached and the

Lord worked, what through them confirming, what they had said

by many. He what miraculous signs?

Miraculous signs miraculous Signs, by the power of God,

coming forth through their lives.

Not God, not Jesus. But there's and he said, it's

for all who will believe All who will believe can actually

operate and do the things that he said we can do.

So he gave this power to the church.

This power actually was released on the day of Pentecost.

On the day of Pentecost, the power was released into the

Earth. Hallelujah, the power was

released in the earth. Hallelujah, Luke 24, 48 through.

49 says this and you are witnesses of these things.

And behold I am sending forth the promise of my father upon

you but you are to stay in the city until your clothes with

what power from on high. This is Jesus telling his

disciples Listen, I need you to wait because you're getting

ready to be clothed with what. And this is what Believers need

today. They need to be clothed in

power. If we are actually going to

continue to be those that God uses in these last days, come on

to see a great Revival, pour out across our nation before he

returns. We're going to need to be

clothes in power. It is not gonna be an option to

be powerless in these days that had that we're going to live

this, not going to be an option. You see how many people are

crumbling right now in churches and we gave that statistic that

during covid right? Before covid, there was over,

256,000, Evangelical churches in our nation.

And after covid, we've lost over a hundred and fifty one thousand

churches that have shut their doors and are no longer

operating. That is a huge, huge debt to the

kingdom of God. And so it showed us that there

was some powerless Believers and churches, that was not able to

rise up in the power that he actually left for us to operate

in. So we've got work to do.

There's tons of doors of opportunity.

Open people are a begging the church.

Now, where they weren't asking the church before for help.

Now they're begging the church for help.

Amen. And so if he can turn the world

upside down with 12, Come on, if he can turn the world upside

down with 12, how much more if we could just get his church to

rise up in the power of God and start operating in that power

and start seeing demons, cast out, come on.

There are some demons that need to flee.

There's some demons that need to get cast out of people and even

more when they're walking up screaming hateful thing.

Things and running around acting like a fool in church us' and

thinking they can have the audacity to walk in the house of

God and blow people up. There's some demons on the loose

that need to be cast out. That's demonic, that's not guns.

That's not a guns fault. That's a person operating under

the power and influence. All of the Demonic realm and

it's not against flesh and blood.

Amen. Come on.

We got to think guys. Don't fall went into the traps

of listening to this ridiculous stuff that's being said on the

news. We just think it's just a con

pray, it's not a good problem. It's a people problem.

It's a people problem that's influenced by the Demonic realm

walking up into schools. Walking up into churches.

Come on and now just running rampant.

Won't listen is running rampant all over our nation.

Amen. We're not just playing

patty-cake religion here, guys. That's why he gave us power to

push back, Darkness to push back darkness.

And that's the greatest thing that we could be doing, is using

our Authority everyday and pushing back, Darkness everyday,

coming against it. In the name of Jesus, using our

Authority, using the things that he said that he has given us to

operate in. So, he gave this power to Who

believed he gave it to the church and it was released on

the day of Pentecost. Look at Acts chapter 1.

Acts 1 · chapter mention

Acts chapter 1, verse 3, through 8, it says, I'm going to read

Acts 1:3

the whole thing through eight. It says to those he also

presented himself. Alive after his suffering by

many convincing proofs appearing to them over a period of 40

days. Speaking of the things, what

concerning the kingdom of God and being assembled together

with them commanded them that they should not depart from

Jerusalem but wait for For the what the promise of the father?

He left us a promise. I like that.

He left us a promise that he was going to leave us help and that

he was and it was to our advantage that we received help

from the helper. How many people don't want help

from the helper. Not only does the helper the

Holy Spirit helped develop the fruits of the spirit in our life

but the power of the Holy Spirit.

All right, come on, we'll push back.

Darkness will cast out demons. Come on, will speak with new

tongues will lay hands on the sick and see I'm recover glory

to God. Hallelujah and the fire of God

be upon your life that everywhere you go.

That fire can be lit. Amen.

So he says and being assembled together with them, he commanded

them that they should depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the

promise, which he said and ye have heard of me for John member

we talked about John last week, John the Forerunner for Jesus,

right? And he actually told us, I said

this before years ago in prayer, that this church was going to be

a forerunner for the Return of the King so that we needed to

prepare Pair the way that as John said he was preparing a way

for him in the wilderness, we need to prepare the way for the

kingdom, to show up for people to actually quit thinking that

this is about a religion of Christianity.

But there is a king that's getting ready to return.

That's gonna be right back with rule, with a scepter of

righteousness, in his head. Come on to set up his kingdom in

the Earth. Glory to God.

When he returns and most people aren't ready for the king to

show up because they still like what they think Jesus is about

to them. They're a version of what God is

their version and opinion. Like everybody else has an

opinion of what God is though, it's going to be exactly what he

said, he is in the word of God. Amen, a king.

That is ready to rule. Hallelujah.

So John prepared the way in the wilderness but it but he says it

here. It says for John truly baptized

with what water which is repentance from sin.

But then he goes on to say, but you shall be baptized with what

the Holy Ghost, not. And one translation says the

Holy Ghost and Fire. Speaking of the outpouring of

the Holy Ghost that was getting ready to come.

Hallelujah. And when they, therefore had

come together, they asked him saying, Lord.

When will this time be that to restore?

Again, the kingdom to Israel, and he said unto them.

It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the

father hath put in his own power, but you shall receive

what? Power after the Holy Ghost comes

upon you. So the Holy Ghost is not just

about you getting your prayer language and getting it is also

about receiving what power. And we need the power.

We need the power. Most people need the power to be

over to able to overcome the flesh.

And this is why so many Believers still struggle with

carnality and falling into sin and walking into sin.

It's because they don't have the power to overcome because

there's power to tap into help yourself.

Help yourself to the power of God.

That's what he said, help yourself to the power of God.

Come on, anybody, anybody that will believe anybody that will

receive the power of God is available.

So you shall receive power after the, Holy Ghost comes upon you

and you shall be a witness unto me in Jerusalem, Judea Samaria.

And to the uttermost parts of the earth acts, 2:1 in four acts

2 1 and 4. And when the day of Pentecost

was fully come, they were all with one Accord in one place and

suddenly there came a sound of Heaven rushing Mighty Wind and

filled the house where they were sitting and there appeared upon

them cloven tongues of Fire And it said upon each of them and

they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak

with other tongues as the spirit, gave him a trance.

Hallelujah. And this is when the power was

poured out. This is when the power was

poured out. Glory to God, let's read Acts 2

and 38 as well Acts 2:38 and I want to go ahead and read all

Acts 2:38

the way to 47. It says, then Peter said unto

them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of

Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.

There's, there's the Holy Spirit coming to living your life as a

Believer. Now, forgiven of sin and you

shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for the promise is

unto you and to your Your children and to all that are

afar off. So if the same, God is still

calling people to be born again today or save today.

Is he still calling all to be filled with the Holy Ghost of

power today? Still calling people to receive

that that same power. So he says this, and with many

other words did, he testify and exhort saying, save yourself

from this, you know, unto word, whatever, that word is untoward,

untoward, generation, just this crooked and perverse generation

when I say that. Those who believed what Peter

said were baptized and added to the church that day was 30,000

and all, all believers. What did they do?

They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, you didn't

have to beg people when they got born again to show up for

church. Immediately, they became devoted

those that really make. Jesus Lord are devoted.

You don't have to beg them to be at church.

You don't have to beg them to show up to serve.

No, they're devoted. They know that.

That's a part of his nature. His character is to show up to

serve. Come on, you don't have to beg

them. They're devoted, they devoted

themselves to the apostles, teaching to Fellowship sharing

meals, which is the Lord's Supper as well to prayer.

You didn't have to beg them to prayer.

How come there's, you know, five people that show up for prayer

meetings and half the churches across our world Because they

don't know the power prayer. A deep sense of all came over,

all of them. The apostles performed, many

miraculous signs and wonders and all the Believers met together

in one place, shared everything they had sold their property,

their possession, shared the money with anybody and need.

They worship together at the temple, everyday, mad, and homes

for the Lord's. Supper, they shared meals with

great joy and generosity all and they were all the while praising

God and enjoy. And Goodwill with all people and

each day, the Lord, what added to their Fellowship, those who

were being saved. If we would just act like the

church, this is still the church.

Dispensation this is still the church age and I don't see the

church looking like the church in the book of Acts because this

is the same church that's in existence.

This is the church. Dispensation Amen.

And so the church needs to start looking like the church that he

actually left in the earth. Amen.

In the book of Acts, what is power mean, strength ability.

His nature. Power for performing miracles.

Moral power, which has to do with Excellence of your soul.

So, not only is their power to deal with you and, and, and get

you out of sin and get you into a place in the kingdom of God.

But now, there's also power for you to be able to renew your

mind and save your soul. You get born again, your spirit

is recreated in Christ, right? The old has passed away, behold

All Things become new but now he tells us that there is a saving

of The soul and this is where most Believers are.

They've not renewed their mind to the word of God.

So that their souls can be saved from this perversion in the

world. So we have to take the power of

God and tap into it, to be able to help renew our mind to the

word of God and what God actually says.

So this power also is influence also to for riches and wealth.

What's so awesome about it is he gave us the power to what To get

wealth. Create well thank you.

One person, knew it in this prosperous Church.

He gave us the power to what? I guess nobody in here is

worried about this economic situation.

Because y'all to get well. Okay y'all stay broke.

All right. Anyway it says this.

He also gives us the power 4 numbers.

Four numbers for actually being added to write the power

consisting in or resting upon glory to God.

Mighty strength, miraculous power virtue, might Hallelujah,

not only that dunamis, Dynamite dunamis, power Dynamite power.

I mean, I remember that show Dynomite.

What was that? Good times.

What happened to Good Times? All we got is bad times around

here, good times. Dynamite come on, Dynamite

miraculous power, living on the inside of us.

Come on each and every one of us can be closed in it and we need

it today. Amen.

Hallelujah. Glory to God.

Power power power. Glory to God, power miraculous,

Mighty power, healing power, come on, forgiving power deliver

its power. Deliver its has anybody been

delivered in here? Has anybody been set free in

here? Has anybody been healed in here?

Has anybody bitch filled in here?

Come on power, the power of God at work in and through our lives

today, every single one of us glory to God, glory to God.

Hallelujah, power to restore marriages.

Come on power to be able to help you through whatever situation

you're going through. Power power is available.

For healing your body, healing your mind.

Hallelujah glory to God power, his power, his power flowing,

lift your hands. Oh Father, we thank you we thank

you, Father for your power. Oh you're Great and Mighty

power. Oh we thank you.

Father God that you poured it out on the day of Pentecost and

we thank you, Father. That we get to partake of this

power in our life. Lives.

We thank you Father for your word that says that we can walk

and operate in this power father and that we can begin to push

back Darkness all over this world.

Hallelujah. We can we can thank you so much
