Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith.

Message podcast from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now enjoy this message. All right, so if you have your
-
Bible turn over to Luke chapter 12.
Luke 12 chapter mention
-
Amen! Luke chapter 12.
Luke 12 chapter mention
-
We're going to start in verse 32 and it says, As this new King
-
James version, says, fear not little flock for it, is your
-
father's. Good pleasure to give you the
-
kingdom, Amen. To give us the kingdom.
-
Let me go ahead and jump down a Colossians 1:12 through 14.
-
And it says this giving thanks to the father who has qualified
-
us to share in the inheritance of the Saints of light.
-
For he rescued us from the domain of darkness and
-
transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son.
-
In whom we have Redemption, the forgiveness of sin.
-
So when someone accepts Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in
-
their heart, that he came, God Came In the Flesh that he died
-
on that cross. He was, he took our Place was
-
our substitute for our wrongdoing.
-
On the third day, he was raised up by the Holy Ghost and because
-
he shed his blood, he forgave did it paid the price for sin.
-
And so when we call on his name to be Lord, we receive
-
forgiveness of sin according to Colossians.
-
Then when the event takes place that you are forgiven of sins,
-
there's a transfer a transfer from the domain or power or one
-
translation says kingdom of darkness.
-
Enos into the kingdom of his beloved Son.
-
Now, every one of you in this room including me, we did not go
-
to heaven, the day that took place.
-
So then, if we were transferred out of the domain of Darkness
-
into the kingdom of his beloved Son, the day we receive
-
forgiveness of our sins, the payment applied to our lives.
-
And we become children of God. Then the kingdom is not heaven.
-
So then Luke 12:32 cannot mean. It is the Father's good
-
pleasure, fear not little flock. It is the Father's good pleasure
-
to give you the kingdom, could not be heaven.
-
And besides that, how could it be Heaven?
-
Just in the on verse because when I go to heaven, why am I
-
going to be in fear? Why would I be in fear in
-
heaven? So if it's his father's good
-
pleasure to give me the kingdom and he tells me to fear, not
-
little flock, he's going to give it.
-
Which means something's going on down here but the kingdom can
-
manifest in our life so that we don't have to live in fear of
-
what we see down here because we're actually in a different
-
Kingdom, right? Okay.
-
So then back in Acts chapter 28, couple of review versus from
Acts 28 chapter mention
-
Sunday or excuse me, 26 Acts 26:18.
-
He says, it's to open their eyes and turn them from Darkness to
-
light, from the power of Satan unto.
-
God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an
-
inheritance and inheritance among them, which are Sanctified
-
by faith. That is in Me by faith in me.
-
So we see here that both Acts 26 and Colossians 1 tells us of an
-
inheritance. So Jesus death burial and
-
resurrection and are acknowledging him as Lord
-
repenting of our sins, In confessing him as Lord also has
-
an inheritance associated with it.
-
It's not just the forgiveness of sin, but an inheritance and that
-
inheritance is in operation today.
-
In essence, we become an heir. Of an inheritance.
-
Are you hearing me an inheritance is just an allotted
-
portion? Which means then at the reading
-
of a will obviously someone would say okay you receive this
-
because the one who has died has left this for you.
-
Well don't you know that Christ has died for us.
-
So again most of the time and I'll get into this Sunday, I'm
-
not going to do it tonight but I'll let you know.
-
There are there is an inheritance that you can
-
function in through what It's called a trust and there can be
-
a living trust. Meaning the person who has the
-
assets can put it in a trust and allow benefactors to operate in
-
it while they're still alive. But most of the time when we
-
think of inheritance we think someone has passed away and has
-
left something to someone else. Well, Christ has passed away, he
-
died for us, and he left us an inheritance.
-
Now he's alive, which is so awesome because he actually gets
-
to come back like a trust and say, I am, you know, the the one
-
over the treacherous, my trust. And so I'm making sure my
-
benefactors. Are receiving it.
-
As I have dictated it in the trust.
-
And there is a trust. If we trust in the Lord, with
-
all the heart, right? And lean not on our own
-
understanding, but acknowledge him.
-
He'll make our paths, straight. You know what he'll do?
-
He'll provide, he'll do everything will get into that
-
more on Sunday. You will, you don't want to miss
-
out on Sunday. So the inheritance was never
-
designed to be only available when you die is because someone
-
else died. So we die to self.
-
Yes, in the context that we are alive unto God old passed away,
-
behold all things. Become new but it's because of
-
what Christ has done. That's given us, this
-
inheritance and that we are the function in this inheritance
-
today. Now, I mentioned this but we're
-
going to read it tonight on Sunday and that is about the two
-
sons to a father that had an inheritance and the youngest
-
wanted his. Now we called this The Prodigal
-
Son story, right? Our account.
-
But we're going to focus on the older brother tonight.
-
We're going to read this out of the passion translation, okay?
-
In Luke chapter 15 verse 11. And 12 it says this, then Jesus
-
said, once there was a father with two sons, the younger son
-
came to his father and said, father, don't you think it's
-
time you give me the share of your state that belongs to me?
-
So the father went ahead and distributed among the two sons
-
Their inheritance. Now, notice that day.
-
The oldest son received an inheritance, he didn't ask for
-
it, he knew one day, it would come typically, its one, father
-
passes, one, and then leaves it. And again, if this is a Jewish
-
Family and most likely is, then the oldest son, gets a double
-
portion of the inheritance. Are you hearing me?
-
He has the blessing and a double portion of the estate the
-
youngers not going to get as much as the older.
-
Unless there was some prophecy right?
-
Some move of the Holy Ghost as we've seen recorded in the Old
-
Testament of some things like with Joseph boys the oldest was
-
not the one that would have the most in fact, Jacob or Israel
-
prophesied, he's going to be blessed to but the younger boys
-
going to have more, right? So unless that took place
-
tradition, is that the oldest son is going to get a double
-
portion. All right?
-
It's the younger son that wants his now.
-
Alright, now, we know the account of that one, he
-
squanders it and then he eventually shows back up because
-
he realized I've made a mistake. I should not have done this, and
-
I just want to go back to Dad's house.
-
I'm definitely not worthy to be called a son anymore.
-
I just want to work for him, the rest of my life because it least
-
dad takes care of as employees. But we know what Dad did right
-
Dad restored him. Because he was repentant, he was
-
truly, you know, not happy that he went.
-
The course he did. He didn't come back because he
-
was broke. He came back because he realized
-
he made a wrong choice. Okay, I know he was broke but he
-
was broke somewhere else and that was a little more
-
motivating. Okay.
-
So he wanted to come back home and Dad, obviously, rejoiced,
-
and in the rejoicing killed a cow that they had been stuffing
-
for quite some time. He was a big boy and they threw
-
a party. Now, verse 25 is where we're
-
going to pick up. And this is where what I would
-
say. The majority of the church is
-
The majority of the church. Why?
-
Because they know they've been forgiven of sin.
-
And they know when they die, they're going to go to heaven.
-
But they're not living out the inheritance while in the Earth
-
today. So a lot of people sound like
-
the older son. And let's look at how the older
-
son responds says, now, the older son was out working in the
-
field when his brother returned and he and as he approached the
-
house, he heard the music of Celebration and dances.
-
So he called over one of the surfaces.
-
What's going on? And the servant replied is she
-
younger brother. He's returned home and your
-
father's throwing a party to celebrate his homecoming right
-
now. He And ask how did he come?
-
What's the circumstance? What's going on?
-
All he does is thinks about how his younger brother left.
-
Which means he's holding on. I said he's holding on to how
-
his brother left was tells us. He actually had no real
-
concerned about his brother anyway.
-
All right. This is why Jesus told us as his
-
disciples, I command you to love one.
-
Another Here's the older brother obviously not operating in the
-
god kind of love because he doesn't care. he assumes that
-
he's celebrating a guy that has squandered his father's
-
inheritance. Okay, he's only seeing his
-
youngest brother in his sin. He's not holding out any hope
-
that he could change. Are you alright?
-
Okay, because I say this because the church the majority love to
-
win the lost when I mean loss, I'm talking about those who've
-
never been the family but it's a whole nother ball game when
-
someone's been in the family. And then they run off and at,
-
like a Hellion. But then, get that find
-
themselves in pig, slop will pass.
-
You didn't call me. I was hoping you get pig slop
-
Okay, y'all want to hear that? Again, I can go after someone
-
initially where he at what's going on, but at the end of the
-
date is going to come, of course that I'm kind of like the
-
Father, which I'm only supposed to do what the father does.
-
Anyway this like let him sit in it.
-
We did love me, you did. Come get me.
-
You didn't give me with my friends, abandon me.
-
Well, apparently you weren't broke enough because I never
-
left. Are you hearing me?
-
You don't want people know where I'm at.
-
I'm still passion the same church.
-
Okay, y'all too. Alright, we getting real now.
-
Getting into the real stuff, right?
-
You know how come you did? Come fi look, we went after you.
-
When you were going down the road.
-
Saying, where are you going? What are you doing?
-
Don't do this. But at the end of the day, if we
-
ever want to see you come back since you think, you know what's
-
right? Anyway, even though you know,
-
it's contrary to your nature. Then at this time, it's kind of
-
good to just sit back and let you just getting big slop.
-
Not bail you out. But you know how many Believers
-
are trying to bail them out? Well I'm Annie brother.
-
Well you know I ain't seen you in church watches.
-
Can you just help a brother out? Yeah come to church come home.
-
I can help a brother out come home.
-
Well where you going to show the love of God.
-
It's in the church the whole time.
-
Why did you leave? But you want me to nickel and
-
dime you to keep you in your sin?
-
Okay, right? But I mean but you know, here we
-
are now. We know that things are going
-
right, Dad. All the, while has the heart of
-
the father meaning he's like, I believe my son can come home
-
because he is waiting. He's looking for him to show
-
back up. I mean when I see people come
-
through the door ain't been in a while.
-
I mean, I'm like, man, belie, where you been?
-
Give him a hug at the end, they just give them a hug anyway.
-
You're hoping their hearts, right?
-
You're hoping they're going to say something that's going to
-
show, man. I blow good.
-
Just get in here. Let's go.
-
Let's a like, it didn't happen. Right?
-
That's how dad was, but the brother was like, I ain't even
-
if I'm not looking for it, I can't believe he did that.
-
Okay, so the older son became angry refused to go in and
-
celebrate. So, as father came out and
-
pleaded with him come and enjoy the feast with us and the son
-
said, father, listen. Now, here it is.
-
How many years have I been working?
-
Like a slave for you. Now, he doesn't, he's not saying
-
he's a slave. What he's saying is is I've laid
-
down my will for years. That's what he's saying here.
-
Okay, performing every Duty. You've asked as a faithful son.
-
and I've never once disobeyed, you But you've never thrown a
-
party for me. Because of my for me because of
-
my faithfulness, you know how many Believers are Mystic God.
-
I mean come to church all this time Reed and doing all this
-
stuff and then I get in a situation.
-
When you going to heal me. when you going to promote me, when
-
you going to, when you gonna they been forgiven there in the
-
house. But they don't know there's an
-
inheritance. I mean, he's blaming his father
-
for him, not having something. Well, you know, I mean I've
-
never left you told me to get up, do this?
-
I did it. You told me to go there.
-
I did that. I mean I've been faithful.
-
I mean, I had ideas, I had ideas like the younger brother I could
-
have left. I thought it but I didn't.
-
I stayed faithful. Right.
-
And he goes on, says, never. Once have you given me a goat
-
that I could Feast on a celebrate with my friends like
-
he's doing now. But look at this, son of yours
-
he comes back after wasting your wealth.
-
Whoo man, he just telling it how he was, right?
-
It's how he left your wealth on prostitutes and Reckless living.
-
And here, you are throwing a great feast to celebrate him.
-
Well, first of all, the father's not throwing a feast to
-
celebrate his lifestyle of being with prostitutes.
-
And Reckless living. He's not doing that at all.
-
He's celebrating because he realized his life living with
-
prostitutes and Reckless living wasn't worth living and he was
-
wrong. And he's not even asking to be a
-
son. But the reality is your of the
-
family. That's why first.
-
John 1:9 says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
-
forgive us of our sins, you know how many Believers come Dragon
-
theirselves back up in here and refuse to receive from the
-
inheritance because all they do is look at their mistakes.
-
All the time. I don't deserve that.
-
First of all, it's not you to decide what you deserve anyway
-
because if it was up to what you deserve, then you wouldn't have
-
had the blood of Jesus and you would be in heaven going to hell
-
after you die. So yeah, it's for some reason we
-
are we will allow ourselves to accept eternal life that we
-
don't deserve. But we won't allow ourselves to
-
accept any other and had part of the inheritance because we've
-
blown it. It at crazy.
-
It's just kind of crazy thinking.
-
Well, because, you know, you want to go to heaven, mean,
-
nobody wants to burn in hell for eternity.
-
So you're going to allow yourself that but God wants to
-
heal you, what? I don't deserve it, you know,
-
I've just done so many bad things.
-
Well, I'm not. I shouldn't Prosper.
-
I, you know I shouldn't have joy.
-
I mean as much as I've done, I should just be, you know, I
-
won't let myself be happy. I don't deserve to be happy,
-
don't deserve you, okay? But you're going to let yourself
-
go to heaven, and you didn't deserve that.
-
Well, you might as well just take joy.
-
Then just go ahead and take joy. Go ahead and have peace.
-
I don't care that you made people's lives on Peaceful, you
-
know. Thinking, you don't deserve it
-
because of all that. You've done to individuals will
-
just have peace anyway because God forgive you Amen.
-
He's a forgiving God, he's a loving father, he just wants
-
repentance. He wants you to realize that is
-
wrong living and when you realize that then he'll lavish
-
you with the inheritance. Now notice he doesn't get the
-
inheritance, he's already lost. In fact, up to this point, he
-
wasn't having access to any additional inheritance.
-
So the brothers like look, you let the sun come back in here,
-
right? You wasting your wealth on
-
prostitutes and Reckless living and here you've thrown a great
-
feast to celebrate for him. The father said my son.
-
Oh man, this is good. Boy.
-
You need to put this on your refrigerator.
-
This is should be your confession.
-
The father said, my son, you are always with me by my side.
-
Everything I have. Is yours to enjoy.
-
In essence. He says, the only reason why the
-
cow didn't die earlier is because you didn't want it.
-
Now the Bible is very clear, concerning a few things one.
-
He says my people not other people because outside of his
-
people there already perishing, right?
-
But he said my people perish. Due to lack of knowledge.
-
Which tells us that God especially if you read
-
Deuteronomy 28 and obviously that is an old Covenant
-
conversation but it has New Covenant implications, but
-
keeping it in Old Covenant, the Lord saying my people perish
-
because of the lack of knowledge, they have concerning
-
the Covenant there in and what I will do with for them if they
-
will listen and obey me and it's listed in Deuteronomy chapter
Deuteronomy 28 chapter mention
-
28. Moses wrote it out, he said the
-
Lord said, if you'll obey me, if you're Hocking to what I say,
-
you'll be blessed in the city, you'll be blessed in the field.
-
You'll be the head and not the tail.
-
Right now. What makes you this because you
-
obey Not because year of that good.
-
Or that you deserved it. But it's because God is a
-
rewarder of those who obey him who diligently seek Him and do
-
what he says. He's a rewarder, that's what he
-
does. And he loves to reward his kids.
-
Disobedient kids, he do not, he doesn't reward, he's merciful,
-
but he's not in the reward business, he's in the redeeming
-
business, he's in a restoration business but at the end of the
-
day, if we will just obey him and you understand, it's no
-
different in the New Covenant because again we have to obey in
-
a New Covenant. Because you can't be born again
-
in a New Covenant unless you first obey that he's the only
-
way to the father. Correct.
-
You're only baptized in the spirit with evidence of speaking
-
in tongues because you obeyed that it is a promise from God
-
and you said I'll receive it and it came upon you and you begin
-
to you were you were filled with the holy ghost power came upon
-
you and then you begin to speak in the but you yield it and many
-
of us especially me growing up to as a Baptist guy never
-
hearing this. I'm glad I wasn't taught that it
-
was of the devil and have to rewire that but not taught at
-
all. When a pastor started showing me
-
a scripture, I said, you just gotta show me in the word and
-
I'll believe it. Now my mom can't wrap around a
-
language. I don't understand that I can
-
speak without being taught and then to speak something that I
-
won't even understand when I say it.
-
Because even when I speak Spanish, at least I know the
-
words that I'm saying mean something right?
-
Even though you know when you start saying this sounds weird
-
coming out of your mouth because you've been hearing this the
-
whole time. But once you get it down it goes
-
but then you know, you start getting into some new words and
-
you're saying it sounds, whoo, Indian, you know, when I go to
-
India those words man there they tell me you'll never be They are
-
language because your tongue cannot do, what it needs to do.
-
You know, was it trained to be at a make certain sounds?
-
Well that may be true. I would have to supernaturally
-
have that take place then. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
I'm not saying it's not impossible.
-
I'm just saying in general, right?
-
Because again, we do know you can live in certain places and
-
the way you articulate, words are based upon the place you
-
came from, but if I had a few of you say car right now, You sound
-
different than me? Our roof?
-
Right? You sound a little bit different
-
than me. And we are both speaking
-
English, you know, and as Pastor Rod, he says, anytime he
-
ministers, he's from Louisiana and ye may need an interpreter
-
and he's in the USA and that's true.
-
And some of them guys that speak Cajun, I mean it's like right.
-
Then we get over to Mississippian some of them
-
speaking that Southern drawl. I mean it you guys coming from
-
Michigan. Y'all be.
-
Like what took him five minutes to say a sentence, right?
-
We can draw word out at least 10 seconds, it's one word.
-
Amen. It's just slap.
-
Pull it out. Are you hear me?
-
Okay. So the thing is, is that his
-
people are perishing because they do not know what's already
-
theirs. And in the New Covenant because
-
many of us, when I say many, I'm talking about the church at as a
-
whole. A lot of times, the only thing
-
they're really hearing is that the forgiveness of sin and that
-
the great inheritance is we go to heaven, but yeah, there's an
-
inheritance now. There's an inheritance.
-
Now, again, to be healed. Is only going to happen a couple
-
ways one. It can happen.
-
Well, three ways. Um, but they all have one thing
-
in common Faith. One way.
-
Is somebody else's Faith through the laying on of hands?
-
Get you healed? Or somebody by faith, yield to
-
the gifts of the Spirit and the gifts of healing.
-
Get an operation and you're healed or by your own faith, you
-
believe you're healed. But we know many people, well,
-
that aren't healed at all. And it's not because God doesn't
-
want them healed. But yeah, we built a whole
-
doctrines that God doesn't want some people healed.
-
Well, there's only one reason why people were sick if they
-
weren't healed anyway because they were disobedient.
-
And it is an amazing when you get around the religious people,
-
when it comes to healing and I said well I guess the Lord's
-
trying to teach me something. Well then why are you going to a
-
doctor? Why are you taking an aspirin?
-
If you think this is from God, why are you trying to stop it?
-
And being more Rebellion. Since we're thinking well I
-
guess the Lord's just trying to teach me what have you learned
-
it? Was just basically they're
-
confessing I'm not doing something right?
-
Well, we're a bit. I mean let's talk to the Lord.
-
Because the Sheep, here's the shepherd's voice.
-
I mean, there's just certain trains of thoughts that people
-
get in it's because they don't know their inheritance.
-
So they make, excuse for the discomfort in their lives when
-
again the Lord's. Like but I've given you in here.
-
Let's look at verse 31 again, put that up again because this
-
is I'm going to prove this with these scriptures tonight.
-
He said the father said my son You are always with me.
-
And by my side, everything I have is yours to enjoy.
-
You are upset because I'm throwing a party for your son.
-
Not why? You think I'm throwing a party?
-
But I'm throwing a party and now you're going to get upset
-
because you're saying, I didn't do one.
-
This your stuff when he came to me and said, Dad, I want my
-
inheritance I gave you yours. So the reality is it was yours.
-
So it's your fault. You didn't call your friends and
-
kill a goat and have a party and invite me.
-
It's in your power. Because it's part of your
-
inheritance. I said, it's part of your
-
inheritance and there are so many Believers that I, you know,
-
they'll won't do this. But I think in there, you know,
-
if you kind of look at how they're processing life, or
-
living life with God, you would almost surmise that they would
-
want to go to heaven. Say, how come you didn't do this
-
for me? Wheeler, why didn't you heal me?
-
You know that person over there and they were living and then
-
they got, he'll what about me? I mean, I went to church, I was
-
faithful. I, you know, the Lord's going to
-
say Well, that was part of your inheritance.
-
You could have had it the whole time.
-
If you only would have believed well how come their marriage is
-
so good, how much of a marriage do you want?
-
Now, I'm going to Tom, be honest in marriage.
-
I understand there's two wheels and you can't make your spouse.
-
Love God, with all their heart, soul and mind and strength.
-
But you can love in the relationship like you are
-
designed to love and God will fill in any other gap so that
-
you aren't missing out. At the end of the day cuz he's
-
too good of a god. I said he's too good of a God.
-
Now obviously in the natural is the most fruitful when both our
-
loving God and passionate about God, and then passionate towards
-
each other as God, it is ordained them.
-
But I'ma tell you right now, there's no reason not to hold
-
out for hope. Believe stand.
-
But what it doesn't work and that's happened.
-
That doesn't mean you can't give restored and by God if you go
-
into another one you better get it right?
-
So that you don't take baggage from the last Because whatever
-
was going on in the one with you is going to go on in the next
-
one with you. And you're the common
-
denominator. So let's just get it right the
-
next time and then stay committed to it.
-
I'm just saying, we have an inheritance and the Bible talks
-
about how we can have a marriage relationship, which means we can
-
just slap make a demand on it. And typically with someone said,
-
well, that's not like I expected.
-
Well, then you're not in your inheritance.
-
Same thing with your children. Well, that's not what I expected
-
at least do your part according to what scripture and fulfill it
-
based upon the inheritance, But as far as things that you can
-
get all by yourself that only include you, well, that's on
-
you. How do we know this?
-
Well, let's look at some scripture here.
-
Okay. Again, we have an inheritance,
-
remind you, this scripture. For we go on Romans chapter 8,
-
verse 16 and 17. I'm a look at in the past.
-
And translation says, for the holy spirit makes God's
-
fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost
-
being you are God's beloved child.
-
And since we are his Choo-Choo true children, we qualify to
-
share all his treasures. For indeed we are Heirs of God
-
himself and since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all
-
that he is and all that he has we will experience being co
-
glorified with him provided that we accept his suffering as our
-
own. So again we are joined to
-
Christ. We also inherit all that he is
-
and he has well you know what I got it. it, I inherited from
-
Christ kingship I was made a king today.
-
I got born again. He gave me back.
-
Dominion is Christ. The King is Jesus, King.
-
Come on, is Jesus, king. That's who he is.
-
He's the king. He became a savior of the world
-
because Adam fell from Dominion. But he's always been ruler.
-
Always been King And so he died and he even testified himself,
-
he said, if a seed doesn't get in the ground and dies, it
-
remains alone. But if it dies, it will produce
-
many. After its own kind, will Jesus
-
showed himself which is a king kind.
-
That means then he produced King Khan, and we're all Kings.
-
He's the king of and who are those kings.
-
So, that's who he is. And that's who we are because we
-
are joint heirs co-heirs. But not only are we, what he is,
-
we have what he has. Oh my goodness.
-
We have it. Not going to have it.
-
Maybe have it. We have it.
-
And the only reason we're not walking in it's because we don't
-
know what our inheritance is. Because we keep putting it back
-
on God, but God's actually putting it on us.
-
This is called personal responsibility.
-
And the kingdom is easier to be religious and keep God in a
-
place of mystery so that you can keep yourself unqualified. cause
-
there's plenty of people that fill unqualified but he said he
-
qualified you He qualified us to share in the inheritance of the
-
Saints. In light.
-
He qualified US, I'm qualified. I'm qualified.
-
I'm just qualified now. I'm not qualified cuz I did, I'm
-
qualified because he did it, and I believed and as he is, so are
-
So we so instead of convincing yourself your something just
-
believe you are. Just go ahead and believe it.
-
And learn what the inheritance are.
-
Well, what what does Jesus have? Well, look what he says here in
-
Matthew 28 verse 18 to 20. It says Jesus came up and spoke
-
to them saying all How much all authority?
-
How much Authority come on. How much Authority does he have?
-
All authority has been given to me where in heaven and on Earth,
-
go. Therefore and Make Disciples of
-
all Nations baptizing, in the name of the Father, the Son, the
-
Holy Spirit, teaching them, to observe all that.
-
I commanded you and lo look what he says I am.
-
With you always even to the end, eh go back to Luke 1531.
-
The father says my son. You are.
-
Always with me, go back to Matthew.
-
I am with you. Now, what did the father say to
-
some son? You're always with me.
-
Everything I have. Is yours.
-
Now again just so we are very clear, I am not taking because
-
again, the two sons, let us know how the inheritance functions.
-
The owner says, I've been faithful.
-
I've been here. I've obeyed and the father's.
-
Like, yeah, and you're mad because I didn't do it.
-
It was yours to do, that's your problem.
-
You did right, son? You were faithful.
-
You were obedient but you're not acting on your inheritance.
-
You're acting like, I got, it's mine and you gotta But what I'm
-
saying is yours is yours. It is yours because I gave it to
-
you. Are you hearing me?
-
But the older son which means then that he's not saying so you
-
could have taken it and ran while too.
-
No, the younger son. Here's an inheritance that you
-
decided to do the inheritance without the father's.
-
Blessing. It's your way of handling it.
-
And how many again James talks about this James says, you have
-
not because you ask not, but when you ask, you ask amiss
-
because you're asking of the father, not because you want to
-
do his will with the inheritance, but you want to
-
spend it on your own Personal Pleasures.
-
So the younger son is the example of how not to deal with
-
the inheritance because if you take God's inheritance and you
-
go running the world with it, well the world is going to come
-
and kill steal and destroy. But if you'll stay with the
-
father, always at his house, then all that inheritance is at
-
your disposal and you can freely function in it.
-
And not be at risk of loss. The protection is there.
-
So, when Jesus says, all authority has been given me go.
-
Therefore, he's saying the authority.
-
I have you can operate in that Authority.
-
How do we know this? Well, let's look at a couple
-
other verses because again, this doesn't mean that God.
-
Jesus said, I have the authority.
-
So go do this, you can't do nothing.
-
No, we can do because he's given us his authority and were
-
functioning in The Inheritance based upon his design.
-
Again, you can't just take a couple of thoughts and run in
-
your own Direction. The young son did this, you'll
-
lose it, but when you do it the way Jesus did it, Jesus said I
-
don't speak anything on my own initiative.
-
If he said me and the father are what one so anything I'm doing
-
is because I know what I have as an inheritance I know what is
-
mine because me and Dad are one and I only do what he says
-
because I'm obedient. That's why everything I touch is
-
blessed. It prospers.
-
It multiplies, it works. It happens.
-
I talked to winds and waves. They listen, I speak to fish.
-
It hears me. I talk to things that are dead
-
to come back to life. It has to show up why?
-
Cause I've heard dad, Right with Lazarus father, I thank you that
-
you always hear me when I pray because we're one and I'm here
-
today because you told me to hold out and not run over here
-
because he was sick because I wouldn't have got back anyway
-
before he died. And if I too came immediately,
-
he'd been two days in the grave but you needed me to know.
-
You needed me to know. that the power of my words, of my words
-
can't even call a dead man from the grave after 4 days and I
-
know, I'm only going for three Come on, you'll hear what I'm
-
saying? I mean there was like just wait
-
because I want you to see him come back and forth which he
-
give you great confidence. That when you say it is
-
finished, you know, the Holy Ghost, gonna come get you in 3
-
because UV eyewitness of this thing that you pulled somebody
-
out of the grave. And for, are you hearing me?
-
I mean, these things that went on are not because it was just
-
happened. Chance is to strengthen and
-
fulfill the plan and will of God.
-
So here in John, chapter 14 verses 12 through 14.
-
Look what Jesus says, he says truly truly, I say to you.
-
He who believes in me. The works that I do, he will do
-
Also and Greater Works than these.
-
He will do. Why?
-
Because I go to the father. Look at verse 13, whatever Who
-
asked? Whatever you ask in my name,
-
that I will do. So that the father may be
-
glorified in the son, if you ask me anything.
-
In my name. I'll do it.
-
That's inheritance. I said That's The Inheritance
-
because when you are talking to the father when you are by the
-
spirit of God Giddy and we're getting it revealed.
-
What the father is saying through the sun called the word
-
of God. When you see again first, John
-
5:14 said this is the confidence that we have.
-
If we ask anything according to his will he hears us?
-
And if we know that he hears us, we have whatever we asked.
-
Which means the minute I find out God's will then I declare, I
-
know, what is best inheritance? So since that's what I have
-
inherited because that's the will of the father.
-
For me, that's what he gave me as a son, when you know what
-
he's giving you as a son, then you can ask for the father in
-
the name of Jesus. And he has to give you the
-
inheritance because by legal, right?
-
It's yours. Man, we're going to see on
-
Sunday, what's ours? We're going to see what's ours
-
that when you realize well because I'm a son, that's mine.
-
Again, the young son, wanted it for himself, but Dad gave it to
-
both laid out the terms said, this is what you have.
-
And so, he rebukes the older one.
-
Not because so much because his he was looking at his younger
-
brother wrong, but it was because I mean, you're upset
-
because you just didn't function in your own inheritance, Because
-
let me tell you, when you know your inheritance you'll rejoice
-
when somebody that's got to squander their inheritance
-
repents and comes back. Why?
-
Because, you know, I don't care if you come back, I don't care
-
if we kill a fat cow for you, I don't care if everybody runs
-
around and rejoice because you've got robbing me of my
-
inheritance, I mean you're not affecting my life in that sense
-
I got what's mine. I'm so glad you realize that
-
stay home with Dad man because When you do, then Heritage can
-
just flow flow flow. It's the good life, it's more
-
disappointing when they're out and you're like, wow, Are
-
squandering the inheritance and now they're living.
-
Like they don't even have one. or they don't have it because
-
they, it's been stolen from and you just want them to repent and
-
come back and you want them to And it's sad, it's sad, it's not
-
like, you know, I'm mad as much as it's just sad.
-
He Grieves, how you can be way Freer than this man could walk
-
in Freedom. And I mean, and get it like
-
clockwork because this part of your inheritance, look what it
-
says in John. 15:16 says, it's, you did not choose me but I
-
chose you and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit.
-
He appointed adieu to bear fruit.
-
He did appoint you to heaven. Okay, he didn't choose you for
-
heaven. He said I you didn't choose me
-
but I chose you. So since I chose you let me tell
-
you why. I'm choosing you.
-
I'm choosing you because I'm appointing you to go and bear
-
fruit and that your fruit would remain.
-
I mean we are so Heaven conscious at least the majority
-
of the body of Christ that they won't even commute.
-
They won't even layout fruit and don't let me start preaching on
-
the fruits of the spirit. Because I you can see when a
-
Believers only about heaven, because the fruits of the spirit
-
are like very difficult to bear in their life.
-
They are the most impatient people on the planet.
-
They get so mad so quickly, yet, fruit, the fruit of self-control
-
is right there. I mean, they get so put out when
-
someone does something wrong that where's the long suffering?
-
No kindness and we're talking about believers.
-
But he's like, you're supposed to be bearing this fruit.
-
But he goes on and says so that whatever you ask of the father,
-
how in my name, he may give it to you.
-
Now, how can we have these kind of scriptures and our prayer
-
life be. So fruitless.
-
Well, it's because we religiously think of our God as
-
in control of everything. And that he kind of picks and
-
chooses the rules at whim. So we really can't figure this
-
thing out anyway. He does for some, he doesn't do
-
for others. I mean, he's just he's really a
-
complicated dad. That's how we picture him.
-
That's how many picturing. But yet, he's not complicated.
-
He has the same inheritance for his children.
-
The majority of our inheritance Every one of us get to
-
participate in. Now function is different.
-
Because you're going to do something that I'm not going to
-
do. And as a result of that, there's
-
something a set aside in The Inheritance to allow you to
-
accomplish that, that maybe I don't need.
-
And that doesn't bother me because at the end the day, you
-
need to fulfill what Dad said for you to do.
-
I need to fulfill what God taught, dad told me to do, and
-
at the end of the day is going to be fulfilled.
-
We both going to get well done. I mean how can I do anything
-
better than what dad wanted me to do?
-
That's not looking at us as competition.
-
Well let's see what son. I can see find out which one
-
does better, he's not doing that.
-
Let me tell you what dad's not doing.
-
That's not walking around say, I wish you would be more like that
-
is not coming out of Daddy's mouth.
-
What that is saying, how come you just won't be what I've
-
created you to be because he not comparing you with someone else.
-
I was just talking to someone recently in their life, you
-
know, those are some big shoes to fill.
-
I said well I didn't ask you to fill their shoes.
-
I'm asking you to fill your shoes.
-
But I don't need you to fill their shoes.
-
I mean, if we were filling their shoes, they would be here and
-
you wouldn't, but you feel yours?
-
Fill your shoes, man. God created you, you're too
-
special your to individualize and and perfect for God.
-
He has a specific thing. He will and he wants you to do
-
it and you alone. But again, when you're
-
functioning in your hair, that's what all of us qualify for.
-
Then you're not upset at what someone's doing, because you're
-
like, but I got mine, we're all function in The Inheritance.
-
So then we're not talking for a Pulpit.
-
We're not jockeying for title. We're not jockeying to be seen.
-
Go back to that. I didn't choose you.
-
Listen, if you're struggling with being on, then you don't
-
understand. He's already picked.
-
You may I say getting better than that.
-
I mean I don't want to be no I don't want to be chasing for
-
people to choose me to come Minister.
-
God chose me. You can't be better than him.
-
Choosing me. I mean if I give up him choosing
-
me for everyone else, choosing me, I have sorely missed out.
-
Wow. No, I am handpicked.
-
I mean, I can say I'm dad's favorite because I feel that
-
way, but I know it's not a true statement because he loves all
-
of us, right? Because she think you, I can't
-
see because you should be like, Dad loves me so much.
-
I mean, I don't know that you can love anybody better than me,
-
but he does. He loves us all that way, but
-
you should feel you shouldn't feel inferior.
-
In fact, Dad loved his kid so much when the younger son was
-
asking for the inheritance for wrong motives.
-
That's so, well, I'm not going to cut out the older one.
-
I'll go ahead and give him his now.
-
He mass for it. But unfortunately, the older one
-
has problems too. Because he wouldn't function in
-
his inheritance. Okay.
-
John 15:16, right? So whatever you ask the father
-
in my name, may give you look at this in John 16. 23 to 26 last
-
scripture tonight. Says, in that day you will not
-
question me about anything. Whoa, when are we going to get
-
to that day? I'm at that day, just let you
-
know. I'm at that day.
-
I don't question him about anything.
-
I'm not I don't know why you're not doing that or why?
-
How come I don't know. Uh I asked him questions but I'm
-
not questioning him about anything.
-
Mean it. I'm not like I don't understand
-
why you would and how I don't I know who you are, I know what my
-
inherited is. I just need you to tell me what
-
I'm to do here at this juncture, because I'm already sitting on
-
belief I mean, I'm leaning already in faith without the
-
word yet. I'm just waiting on the word
-
because I'm already geared to say.
-
Yes, I'll do it. I believe can't be any of the
-
ways, tell me what to do and I'm Gonna Stand, we'll get it to
-
come to pass period. So that in that day, you will
-
not question me about anything. Truly, truly I ask you, I say to
-
you, if you ask the father for anything, how in my name, and
-
the reason not to use his name is because he is the the one who
-
has set up the trust. And you're the benefactor.
-
So you're finding out what's his will.
-
And his name, legally authorized, is the transfer
-
because the name of Jesus, when we been authorized to use his
-
name in essence that he has given us power of attorney.
-
Now, I know what power of attorney means.
-
And I functioned in power of attorney, which means who I have
-
power of attorney in That means in those areas stated I can do
-
the decision without them even being there.
-
I do it in their name. And they allow me to do it
-
because when they see me, they see the person that I have power
-
tourney. When we begin to ask in the name
-
of Jesus, the father sees Jesus not us and as he says, oh well
-
this is Jesus Christ and well actually as early as a know
-
you're in Christ. So see I'm in cry America but
-
I'm in Christ because I'm in an inheritance, I'm co-heirs with
-
Christ, which means whatever Christ gets I'd yet.
-
And I get it by use of his name. But if I don't know what is Mine
-
by The Inheritance, then I'll live my whole life never and
-
acting a trust that was mine the whole time.
-
You go stand before Jesus at the marriage, supper of the Lamb are
-
the Judgment seat of Christ. Is your say man?
-
You sure didn't use your inheritance much, huh?
-
Yeah I had all this for you. Here's what you were to do.
-
Well, I didn't have that. Yeah, you did.
-
Yeah, you did. I was with you low, even to the
-
End of the Age. Whatever was mine.
-
I transferred to you through the use of my name.
-
This is why when I say, okay, hey, we're going to be doing
-
this particular trip, right? Or you know, hey, here's an
-
opportunity to so you don't consult the checkbook.
-
That's not your inheritance. Your inheritance is with the
-
father. Should I go on that trip?
-
And the father's ya, go. You look at your account.
-
Say, well, it's not there, but I haven't inherited.
-
So it's got to come in. So, do you live by faith?
-
Now, how does he bring your inheritance in to go on that
-
trip. He could do it a multiplicity
-
ways he could do it. That all of a sudden you get
-
money that you didn't even know you had through a natural
-
inheritance paid for or someone wants to pay for someone and you
-
are paid for or you get a promotion, didn't know the are
-
raised or you find the money on the side of the road.
-
A bonus. I mean, there's so many
-
different things that can take place.
-
You may not know all you know, is he said go, so the
-
inheritance gives me the right to go because I'm a stand on his
-
word believe and I'm going to call in and his name period, but
-
many many, many Believers. He's with them but they don't
-
Consulting. They consult what they think
-
they only have and possess. Well, we need to go on a mission
-
trip and I would love to do that but that's too expensive.
-
Hmm, your dad owns the planet. Go ahead name, go ahead and give
-
the names of the wealthiest people on the planet.
-
They're broke as far as God is concerned.
-
Broke. In fact, he even says their gold
-
is rusting rusting gold. Oh, y'all want to preach that?
-
That's fine. I mean, to the world's eyes,
-
they're the wealthiest to God is rust.
-
Wow. And we have an inheritance.
-
I mean, you're not going to need the inheritance there.
-
Truly truly, I say to you fiance father for anything in my name,
-
he will give it to you. Until now you have asked for
-
nothing in my name, ask And you might get it but because we
-
really don't know what Dad's doing for me, any day to the
-
next man. You know, his ways are higher
-
than our ways. Can I just tell you, I'm, Jesus
-
died on the cross Rose from the grave.
-
I mean, I was just so confused about the father's.
-
Anybody else is that Jesus? No, he said, father said to do
-
that. Well, that was Jesus, though.
-
Yeah, but you can hear like, Jesus.
-
You've been made in His image. So you just have to then accept
-
the fact that I've not fine tune myself to hear like Jesus hears,
-
although I can so the reality is many of us want to live
-
substandard called we don't want to discipline ourselves to
-
develop ourselves to be at a here and function like Jesus did
-
And we would much rather live on the devil's welfare state. then
-
in the Kingdom of God's inherited state, Are you hearing
-
me because well, let the devil he made all kind of decisions
-
for us and force them on us. God, lets us participate with
-
obeying his that brings us amazing things.
-
Hallelujah, until now you've not asking asked for nothing in my
-
name, ask and you will receive. So that your joy may be made
-
full full. Have you seen Believers that
-
aren't full? Of Joy.
-
Now again, when I mean you get around a believer that gets an
-
answered prayer. How do they respond?
-
Right? They were sick and then they get
-
healed. What do they look like?
-
they were lacking, but then they get the provision while they
-
look like, Right? I mean, it's true, we get
-
excited, all the Lord did this, but yet, why is that not a
-
consistent Behavior action of ours?
-
Because he said, if you ask anything, Now that anything is
-
more. What do you want me to do?
-
But this one, what you do, okay? Then we're going to have that in
-
Jesus name. Now the end of the day, I don't
-
care what it looks like, how I feels what's going on.
-
I'm just going to see this come to pass because I have the
-
inheritance. It's part of my inheritance and
-
as a result of that, there's a legal, I have a legal right to
-
it. It's going to come to pass
-
period. It's already because it's
-
already done. So that means every time I ask I
-
receive not, sometimes I ask and sometimes I receive every time.
-
Every time, every time, These things I have spoken to you and
-
figurative language. He says verse 25 and an hour is
-
coming when you will no longer speak and figurative language.
-
But I'll tell you plainly and let me tell you, he's telling us
-
plainly because look at verse 26.
-
In that day, you will ask in my name and I do not say to you,
-
that I will request of the father on your behalf.
-
What? In that day, we got another one
-
that in that day, in that day, you'll question me.
-
Nothing in that day. You will ask in my name and I do
-
not say to you, that I will request of the father on your
-
behalf. That tells us when we know who
-
we are in The Inheritance, we go straight to Dad and in both
-
Jesus's name and Jesus isn't like, saying, would you father?
-
Would you do that? He's like, well, I'm not making
-
that request. That's just inherited.
-
He's s inheritance talk. That's already forever settled.
-
I don't have to get involved in this conversation actually at
-
this juncture because that's forever settled in heaven.
-
That's already laid out in the trust.
-
They have a right to ask in my name.
-
Yummy, people praying to Jesus to do something.
-
But if you would learn what's in the inheritance, you're not
-
talking to jeez. You're talking to the father?
-
Father, in the name of Jesus then Herod, it says, and I
-
receive it. You know what Jesus is doing in
-
those moments. He's rejoicing because you know
-
who you are. And then you're receiving.
-
What's rightfully yours because of what he did.
-
Come on. Do you know as a parent?
-
you know, as a parent Okay, you like scratch save, I mean, you
-
sacrifice to develop this whole little, you know, fun for your
-
child that when they get a particular age, you're going to
-
give that to them, you want them to take it, right?
-
So they get to that age, you give them the account number,
-
you're like, you know, son daughter, take this and do what
-
you know God's Destiny to do. And they say I'm five years
-
later broke. Strung out and I what happened.
-
Well, you know, I want to do this but I didn't have it.
-
You go and check the account and they pulled nothing out.
-
You're not going to be like, What are you doing?
-
I've already done this. You don't I've already done it,
-
just pull it out. I don't deserve it.
-
Oh, you don't want to hear that. I chose to do it because you're
-
my child. You could have had that house.
-
It was already paid for. Could I have that job or that
-
career already paid for She didn't enact your inheritance.
-
But we have an inheritance. No, sonny.
-
We going to talk about what we have in Christ.
-
Because that's our inheritance and we receive it because we ask
-
the father, in the name of Jesus, we have a legal right to
-
it because Christ has died. He has Rose and he has said all
-
authorities. Mine.
-
Here's my name. While you're in the planet.
-
I give you power of attorney to function as a king.
-
Of the king. Because you're a child of God,
-
because our dad has chosen gladly to give you this Kingdom
-
and to function in all that you can inherit from it.
-
Just asking my name. Because you're the kings are.
-
And it's amazing. How many people can sit in a
-
service like this and still be checked out?
-
Because they looks like they want to earn it themselves.
-
I don't want to make a name for myself.
-
I want to use his name. I want him to be known.
-
Like John, the Baptist said I must decrease.
-
He must increase. Why?
-
Because all authorities with him.
-
All wealth is with him. All Prosperity is with him.
-
All pieces with him. Oh joy is with him.
-
I mean, and he's with me and if I just walk with him and say he
-
what he tells me to say because I learn of what is mine and then
-
begin to say it in the name of Jesus, then I'll walk this thing
-
out knowing dad. Love to do this for me.
-
So I'm like expand my thinking. So that I would believe nothing
-
is impossible. All the time that every day, I
-
could wake up and say what seems impossible to man is not
-
impossible with me because I have a name, I have thee, nay
-
that authorizes me. And I'll close with this one.
-
Okay, thank you. Lord. five to one, in essence,
-
they received and inheritance to some degree to work on behalf of
-
the Master 5, made five more tomb, a tomb or one buried it
-
One who buried it. The law was not well because he
-
did not use. What was given.
-
Although we had ability But he took the inheritance in one
-
sense from the one and gave it to the one with 10.
-
Let me tell you you don't want to be in this room and I get
-
your inheritance because you're not working it.
-
Because I'll spend mine and yours.
-
Oh, I'll do it. I remember when I was in Youth
-
Ministry and Sand Springs. Oklahoma, we had a budget
-
Seventeen hundred dollars a month.
-
We could spend in our departments.
-
I was in the youth ministry. Then I had a children's Pastor
-
in the children's ministry. In each month.
-
He would always have money left over.
-
I would spend it and I looked across the table and Tom.
-
And I said, if you don't spend your budget, I'm going to take
-
it. I told him I said, I'll spend
-
yours too. Because in my mind, I'm thinking
-
we're not saving them money. They're authorizing us to use it
-
to advance the kingdom and to change people's lives.
-
Get creative enough to spend it. Get it in the earth cycle.
-
That stuff out towards somebody. If you want to hold onto yours,
-
I'll come get yours and work it. Because when I get to heaven,
-
one day I'm gonna have empty Pockets.
-
But a full treasure. I might have a full treasury.
-
I'm gonna have a full treasury because all my stuff's getting
-
stored there. Hallelujah!
-
Whatever you about every eye, closed.
-
Whoo, glory to God. Amen.
-
I have an inheritance. I don't know what your 401k
-
looks like, but mine haired as is so amazing and it can't be
-
touched. Moss, can't eat it, Robert can't
-
steal it, Russ can't eat it away.
