  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith.

  2. Message podcast from st. Augustine, Florida.

  3. Now, enjoy this message. So it's an honor that Pastor

  4. Earl's asked me to come and Minister.

  5. It's always an honor. I love my church.

  6. I love my church family. I love every one of you, you

  7. know, I've really kind of grown up here and I say that every

  8. time, but I have my, some of the most pivotal points in my life,

  9. have happened here with you guys that I prefer a church.

  10. I answered the call to Ministry. I came here, I've met my wife,

  11. I've had my children, my greatest triumphs, my greatest

  12. failures of all happened in this church body.

  13. So it's exciting for me to come and Minister and it's always a

  14. great honor. This is never something that's

  15. taken lightly by our pastors or any one of us that step up here

  16. because we know the, you know, the responsibility to rightly

  17. divide the word of Truth, the responsibility that rests on our

  18. shoulders to make sure that we're accurately communicating

  19. what God has said in his word. So tonight we're going to go on

  20. a little journey together. Either the title, my message is

  21. lost in the woods. Okay.

  22. The goal was to not be, so let's just be clear about that. but to

  23. any time that we ever, Anybody ever enters this Pulpit at

  24. anchor? In a church, you know, the

  25. message that we bring is not just the general message, you

  26. would hear from the regular Christian religious church.

  27. We always bring the gospel of the kingdom of God and that's

  28. not something I ever be taken lightly.

  29. Because you understand, I was raised in church and I, you

  30. know, every time I miss her, I say this and I get this little

  31. disclaimer but I was basically born on to a Pew.

  32. I think the second the service right after my mom can, you

  33. know, testify with a service right after I was born.

  34. Boom, we were we were there at church and we never missed But

  35. in that, I was taught a lot of great things growing up.

  36. I was taught a lot of the word, a lot of truths and foundations

  37. that set me up from my life. But I was also taught a lot of

  38. religion because the message I received wasn't through the lens

  39. of the kingdom. And when I read the Bible, I

  40. read it through religious eyes until the moment came that I

  41. received the revelation of the Kingdom, until I put on that

  42. lens of the kingdom. And then the whole world came to

  43. life for me. The word of God came to lat.

  44. I mean, everything that I ever had questions of became

  45. answered. I received the kingdom message,

  46. so it's not just a sermon that we preach about the kingdom.

  47. Everything that we talked about everything that we do every the

  48. way that we think all of it hinges on the foundation of the

  49. kingdom. And if you guys miss Sunday, you

  50. need to go back and listen to it before next Sunday, because

  51. Pastor Earle just started a new series.

  52. And it's again, re-emphasizing and Reba, you know, establishing

  53. this foundation of the kingdom of God, that really is just the

  54. message Jesus preached as well. I was reading through today and

  55. like, you know, I read the Bible every day but today specifically

  56. knowing I was going to come Minister.

  57. I started looking through the gospels and looking through the

  58. good news, right? The gospel means, good news and

  59. as I'm looking through the good news, what I didn't find in

  60. there. Was, if you die, you go to

  61. heaven. That's in the Bible.

  62. I'm not discounting, that's not, it's in the Bible.

  63. But when you're reading the gospel, why?

  64. If that was the best news for the church, why isn't it in the

  65. gospels of Matthew Mark, Luke and John Why is it specifically

  66. stated in fact, if the gospel and the good news for all

  67. Humanity was when you die, you spend eternity with God.

  68. If that was the good news, why did Jesus forget to preach that?

  69. So when we, when we look at the kingdom of God, and look at the,

  70. you know, this Forest, so to speak that we've entered into,

  71. you know, we've heard it said a bunch of times from the pulpit.

  72. It's like the kingdom is the forest and every individual

  73. message of Salvation healing forgiveness, all these, you

  74. know, Redemption, all of these things are trees within the

  75. forest. But what I've found is with most

  76. modern Christians. They've come into the kingdom of

  77. God, gotten into the forest. But don't know where they are

  78. and don't know what they've entered into and they're in fact

  79. lost in the woods. And they're wandering around.

  80. And if you ask them direct questions, you know.

  81. Well, you know, why is your if it just at work?

  82. If you say, well, why is your why are you?

  83. Why is your life so good? Because God is good brother and

  84. we walk into church more like God is good and then somebody

  85. says all the time so we know the Christian he's that we speak, we

  86. got it. But if somebody said but why is

  87. he good? How many people go, hmm?

  88. You know, because he is that's not a good enough answer or if

  89. you said, how is God good? Well, because that's what he is.

  90. We don't we don't really know what we have.

  91. So whenever we begin to look at the what God is trying to do in

  92. us through the kingdom, we got to start with the foundation of

  93. Genesis 1:26, put it on the screen.

    Genesis 1:26

  94. Some of you have heard this a bunch of times, like a thousand

  95. times but honestly, some of you in here, this is your first time

  96. hearing it. And I'm just going to tell you.

  97. If this is one of the first times, you've heard this

  98. message, you'll never ever be the same.

  99. You'll never able be able to go back from this revelation.

  100. So every time this gets mentioned any time Pastor Earle

  101. ever brings up the Scripture, it becomes alive to me.

  102. There's we have not exhausted the depths of Genesis 1:26,

    Genesis 1:26

  103. don't think, I know where we're going.

  104. God gave, man Dominion I get it. I'm telling you, I hear some of

  105. you talking in the lobby, you don't have it yet.

  106. I know what this is. Do you though, really because I,

  107. you know, you're the way the way you're acting is telling me you

  108. don't have it yet, but we're going to read it because this

  109. understand, we're spoiled a tanker, Faith Church.

  110. We get the word all the time. Rightly divided when, I mean,

  111. our pastors do exactly what the Apostle Paul did.

  112. He says, I didn't Apostle. Paul said, I did not withhold

  113. from you, the full counsel of God and I'm thankful for real

  114. pastors, that have raised us in developed us and taught us that

  115. way. But Realize there's other places

  116. outside of here that you'll go and they're not going to

  117. understand this. This is a answer to a deep

  118. theological question that church people and non-church people are

  119. both asking, why do we exist? God answers it on the first

  120. page? That we see God, the high

  121. Creator, the Creator. The emanates love the emanates

  122. life that that has created. All things says, and let us make

  123. man in our image, according to our likeness.

  124. And then he says these three words that are the foundation of

  125. every human Destiny from then, to Eternity.

  126. And I'm going to emphasize what I just said.

  127. Again, the three words that God says here are the foundation of

  128. every human Destiny from this point through eternity.

  129. This did not change when Jesus showed up.

  130. God's original intentions for Humanity.

  131. Never changed ever. His original intentions are his

  132. eternal intentions. So these are the most powerful

  133. words you could ever hear for your purpose, your assignment

  134. and your destiny. God says, and let them rule.

  135. Okay, he then he says over the fish of the sea over the birds

  136. of the sky over all the cattle over all the Earth and over

  137. every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

  138. We know that God in the original beginning, did not create man so

  139. that he could just be a being of worship to just Worship in a

  140. religious setting. Everything that I've read in the

  141. Bible. Don't know if y'all have read

  142. the Bible, but I read the Bible and everything.

  143. I've read shows that God gave man a kingdom and dominion over

  144. the Earth and an assignment on the planet to dominate the

  145. planet. And that didn't change with

  146. Jesus. So whenever God gave man a

  147. kingdom and said, you're going to, you were born and created to

  148. dominate this world. That means everything that

  149. happened from the fall all the way to Revelation was to get

  150. mankind back to God's original statement of let them rule.

  151. Since it's the foundation of your destiny, realize anything

  152. other than you ruling is substandard living.

  153. And I don't know what version of Christianity, you were told.

  154. But I've read the Bible. And it empowers me to dominate

  155. right now. The Bible talks about the

  156. afterlife and what happens when you die realize even after you

  157. die. You come back because you were

  158. made. To rule here not heaven.

  159. Who rules Heaven, think. Let's just think about it.

  160. Let's think it through, who rules Heaven, someone 1560s

  161. pretty clear 11650 now, which is one of those to get read both

  162. chapters. You'll find it.

  163. It says, the highest Heavens are the Lord's, but the Earth he is

  164. given to who, man or woman mankind, okay?

  165. We're not trying to say just men, but he's giving it to

  166. humanity to mankind. So if gods Original design was

  167. that we would dominate here. That's his forever.

  168. Designed that means Jesus came not to change the rules or to

  169. get you somewhere that you weren't made for.

  170. Jesus came to bring you back to the place that you are designed

  171. to rule. Okay.

  172. I hope we believe it. Let's go to Genesis chapter 2

    Genesis 2:15–17

  173. verses 15 through 17. We're going to do some reading

  174. tonight. It says something, God took the

  175. man and put him into the Garden of Eden, to cultivate it, and

  176. keep it. And I'm going to do what all the

  177. creative team hates. And I'm going to read portions

  178. of it and I'm going to stop and expound and I'm gonna read and

  179. pause all through this. But it says in, God took the man

  180. and put him in the Garden of Eden.

  181. Where did he put, man? Did God do that?

  182. Because he hated man. Did he do that?

  183. Because he wanted man to suffer. No God, put man in the garden in

  184. the Earth. Because that was God's very best

  185. for man, is that he would be where God put him on the planet

  186. if it was better that he just be in heaven with God.

  187. I haven't found that. It says in verse 16, the Lord

  188. commanded the man saying from any tree of the garden, you may

  189. freely eat but from the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil,

  190. you shall not eat for in the day that you eat it, you will surely

  191. die. God does a powerful thing for

  192. man. Here in this moment, he empowers

  193. his free will. He gives him an either/or Choice

  194. C without an either/or choice. You don't have free will.

  195. You just exist and are and you go around doing and there's no

  196. consequence. There's no choice.

  197. But God gave man, a choice and I find it interesting.

  198. This whole story starts with the tree.

  199. In the Epic tale that God is riding.

  200. Is the ultimate Storyteller. He starts out his whole story

  201. with you and I and a treat. That'll be important later.

  202. Write that down a tree. Draw a picture of a tree.

  203. If you're like me, take notes and you draw little pictures and

  204. there's this fine. We're not gonna do a Bob Ross

  205. tutorial. Don't worry.

  206. It doesn't have this is this was supposed to be a happy little

  207. tree, but it became not a happy little tree.

  208. So But he says and he put the tree of knowledge of Good and

  209. Evil. You shall not eat from it or in

  210. that day. You eat from it, you will surely

  211. die. So at this point, God gives Adam

  212. a choice to either obey the command or disobey life is

  213. simple for Adam. Would you agree that he has

  214. given obey or not? Don't obey.

  215. And I think it's worth saying for us as Believers right now,

  216. life is still that simple. We overcomplicate things. when

  217. really God is still dealing with us the same way, Okay.

  218. Okay, we'll just keep going. It's fine.

  219. If we look at what's in is we know that it in this story with

  220. just for the sake of paraphrasing.

  221. We know that Adam obviously doesn't obey this.

  222. We see that in the next chapter, he God gives him a woman and

  223. then the next one, they go and they eat from the fruit, and

  224. they're separated. God said, you will die.

  225. If you eat from this fruit, you'll be separated from the

  226. King. You'll be separated from the

  227. Kingdom's realm. And the ultimate thing that he

  228. was separated from was his Dominion.

  229. See sin, always Always causes you to Forfeit Dominion.

  230. Always. Send disrupts your Dominion, sin

  231. comes and divides your dominion and your assignment from what

  232. you're doing. So whenever God said don't eat

  233. from the tree, it was more than him just giving him options

  234. because God just wanted to see if he would obey it.

  235. God was giving him a safeguard to say, here's how you keep your

  236. Dominion. so, if sin destroys your Dominion of sin, hinders

  237. your Dominion, if it keeps you from operating in your Dominion,

  238. He had to send his son to save us from that environment.

  239. If we're to Define sin, a tank of a church, I love how our

  240. pastor always defined Senate made it so simple for me because

  241. sometimes you know you have this whole list of sins, you've got

  242. the unpardonable sin and you got, you know, these other sins

  243. that are you know whatever but in the end sin is only just in

  244. its simplest form. Disobeying what God Said, Adam

  245. didn't cheat on his wife, he didn't murder, he didn't steal,

  246. he didn't do the Ten Commandments, tough.

  247. All he did. Was disobeyed what God

  248. commanded. And that's in affected the whole

  249. world forever. Like, well, you know, sometimes

  250. there's some sins, you know, like, you know, that are worse

  251. than others Sin is Sin. Meaning if God says to do

  252. something, just do it. It doesn't matter how small it

  253. seems. It doesn't matter if he's

  254. talking about plants and fruit, or if he's talking about

  255. people's lives and relationships, just do what he

  256. says. And life simple.

  257. Alright, let's let's go for the further.

  258. Let's look at what sin does here.

  259. Let's go to Romans 5:12. And this kind of gives us the

    Romans 5:12

  260. explanation here. What happened with with with

  261. Adam Romans 5:12 says, therefore just as through one man sin

    Romans 5:12

  262. entered, the world and death through sin, so that death

  263. spread to all men because all sinned, so death entered in to

  264. all humanity and became the nature of everybody.

  265. Born after Adam sinned became inevitable.

  266. By Adam eating the fruit. He made sin inevitable, then the

  267. next passage we see in Romans, if we go to Romans 3:23, this

    Romans 3:23

  268. one we know really well, most Christians know this one really

  269. well, but they know it for different reasons than we're

  270. going to talk about. But it says for all have sinned

  271. and fallen short of the glory of God.

  272. So again what does this mean that we're all?

  273. We all are never going to make it never going to make it is

  274. that what this means? No y'all are taught to good.

  275. See this would this would slay at a different church if I went

  276. to the religious Church in some other town this they'd be like

  277. but y'all are talk to good here. See these points, somebody

  278. online. They're gonna be blown away in

  279. their car. They're gonna what Romans

    Romans 7 chapter mention

  280. chapter 7 put that up there for all have sinned and fallen short

  281. of the glory of God and then if Romans chapter 7, start in verse

    Romans 7 chapter mention

  282. 18, we're going to read Is this for, I know that.

  283. Nothing good. Dwells in me.

  284. That, and again, the writer of Romans here is kind of lamenting

  285. his past life. Okay, he's not presently.

  286. Talking about his present state, but he says, for, I know that

  287. nothing good dwells in me, that is in my flesh for the For the

  288. Willing is present in me, but the doing of good is not for the

  289. good that I want to do. I do not do, but I practice the

  290. very evil that I don't want to do, can anybody identify that?

  291. That was how life was? You're just trying to do good?

  292. I just want to do something good.

  293. It just seems like everything I'm doing is bad verse 20 says,

  294. but if I am doing the very thing, I do not want.

  295. I am no longer the one doing it but sin, which dwells in me, I

  296. find then the principle that evil is present in me and the

  297. one who wants to end me the one who wants to do good.

  298. For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the Inner Man, but

  299. I see a different law in the members of my body Waging War

  300. against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law

  301. of sin, which is in my members. So, if we stop there, this is

  302. the state of every person that's lost without God.

  303. And it's important to emphasize that as we move further on in

  304. this message, because there is no hope Without the king you're

  305. stuck, no matter what you do, no matter how good you want to be,

  306. no matter how many good things you try to do, it's all going to

  307. be burnt up and fall away. If you're not in the kingdom,

  308. and with the one who can fix the problem, see this man, that's

  309. talking this, this person this personification of this person

  310. needs saving They need a savior. Okay.

  311. Verse 24 Wretched, Man that I am, who will set me free from

  312. this body of the body of this death?

  313. Then we see in verse 25. Thanks be to God through Christ

  314. Jesus our lord. So then on one hand, my myself,

  315. with my mind, I am serving the law of God, but on the other

  316. with my flesh, the law of sin, does it go further?

  317. There's not another one, we'll stop there because I did that on

  318. purpose and I'll remember why in a second.

  319. But in this dreary terrible picture of the this horrible

  320. person that he is and me, we sing a song about this in

  321. Amazing Grace, right? And we all know that song.

  322. Amazing, Grace. How sweet, the sound that saved

  323. a Wretch like Me? So in knowing that we need a

  324. savior. Can we all agree?

  325. We need a savior. In fact, those of you who've

  326. been born again, are you saved? Come on.

  327. Are you saved? From what sin?

  328. What does that mean? No separation is the consequence

  329. of sin. So are you saved from sin?

  330. Are you safe from separation? I'll wait, I mean, look good

  331. because if you ask most Christians, I'll tell you the

  332. popular. It's, I'm not gonna come to, I

  333. could come down. Be like mr.

  334. Joe, what do you think you're safe from and then put him in an

  335. awkward position because then I'll come my friend correct.

  336. When he said me like you're wrong.

  337. Here's what I really meant my message.

  338. I'm not gonna do that to him. I'm just gonna tell you what he

  339. was gonna say what he was gonna say.

  340. Most crisp. Most modern Believers.

  341. It's got finger quotes in case. We're just audio recording, only

  342. see right here. Most modern Believers.

  343. If you said, you're saved, what were you saved from?

  344. They would say, hell, Eternal punishment.

  345. He paid the price for my sins so that I wouldn't have to pay that

  346. price and all they're talking about is the consequence of sin.

  347. But this this man in this passage isn't travailing as a

  348. Wretched Man because of a consequence that's paying out.

  349. He's not at the end result yet yet he feels the wretchedness

  350. that he is. He needs to be saved from his

  351. wretched State presently. Okay, okay, okay, okay.

  352. Okay, we'll go somewhere, hold on.

  353. Let's go to John chapter 8. John 8:34.

John 8 chapter mention John 8:34

  354. We all want Savior, Jesus to save us.

  355. We all understand. He is a savior, he does that,

  356. but who he truly is as Lord. So when we're trying to Define

  357. between Savior, and Lord, what does our Lord and our lordship

  358. that we confess when we get born again, what does that save us

  359. from? What were we in?

  360. What will rebound by? Bound by sin.

  361. Okay. We're, y'all are getting it,

  362. you're putting together. It says Jesus answered them and

  363. said. So if this was in, you know, my

  364. Bible, this would, these letters would be read their white right

  365. now. I have zero Bibles that have

  366. white letters, but it's okay. It says, Jesus answered them and

  367. said, truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin,

  368. is a slave of sin and the slave does not remain in the house

  369. forever, but the sun does remain forever.

  370. Then here's a popular scripture, we quote.

  371. So if the son makes you free you will be free.

  372. Indeed free from what. Free from Santa free from the

  373. consequence of sin. Because right here, it says the

  374. one who commits sin is a slave of sin.

  375. Then it says the son, if he makes you free, you will be

  376. free. I could just be in this one

  377. passage and say it looks like The son frees you from.

  378. The slavery of committing. Sin.

  379. It's gonna be a little quiet for a little bit but all the rest of

  380. you will get on board in a second.

  381. Because when in the end, we want Jesus to be the Savior that

  382. meets us at the Pearly Gates and says, hey, you're okay.

  383. Come on in. and what we get uncomfortable with is the savior

  384. that meets you in your bedroom and says, hey, I can save you

  385. from actually needing a consequence from here on out.

  386. See, it's understood when you accepted Christ that work that

  387. he did in his death burial and Resurrection, you became a brand

  388. new person when you get born again and you made the Covenant

  389. with your mouth that he was Lord forever.

  390. You're the old passed away and you became a brand new person on

  391. the inside free from sin and all your past sins were forgiven.

  392. But the problem is if in that moment he said it doesn't matter

  393. what you do from here on out. He undoes what happened in

  394. Genesis 1:1 God gave man Choice C.

    Genesis 1:1

  395. Jesus is work on the death burial and Resurrection is

  396. sitting at is sitting at the right hand of the father that

  397. work didn't undo free will. And we're saying that's right

  398. but it's going to get it's it's going to be tight, it's going to

  399. be right. It's only going to get heavier,

  400. but it'll be okay. I promise it'll end.

  401. Well, is that okay, as could I forecast that at least Because

  402. our issue is, they're like, oh well Jesus.

  403. Forgives all my sins. Even the ones I'm gonna do.

  404. We've already failed that Wretched Man.

  405. That was going to be saved. Apparently, just wants to stay

  406. wretched. So when sin showed up, it was it

  407. was inevitable because there was nothing you could ever do

  408. outside of Christ payment to be free from it.

  409. But the moment that he came and the moment that he died on the

  410. cross and became sin on our behalf.

  411. Because isn't that what it says that he on the cross?

  412. He became what was inevitable for us?

  413. But it's important to note. There's something there's things

  414. that took place before the cross.

  415. Jesus is life, isn't summed up like most of the you know the

  416. Catholic Creeds right? Those are all summed up with the

  417. birth of Christ, the death of Christ and we miss everything in

  418. between which is all the kingdom stuff.

  419. And it was written for a reason. So why don't we go?

  420. And look at that, I mean, it, even if we look at Matthew

    Matthew 4 chapter mention

  421. chapter 4, look at Jesus, as our perfect example.

  422. Would you say Jesus is our example?

  423. Raise your hand. Let me see, is Jesus the perfect

  424. example. Okay.

  425. Then I never should hear from you, well, but that was Jesus.

  426. My brother. Can you do it?

  427. Because Jesus well that was Jesus.

  428. No, he's our example, an example, something to be

  429. followed and he's not unfair, which means whatever he said

  430. that he did that we could do, we can do so in Matthew 4, when

  431. he's tempted by the enemy. Did he?

  432. Bow to sin. Was he a slave to sin?

  433. so, when Temptation comes to you, Are you a sinner?

  434. Or are you in Christ? The one who overcame.

  435. Because again, when somebody says well, I've been saved the

  436. problem is they're lost in the woods because they know I've

  437. been transferred from the domain of Darkness into the kingdom.

  438. Forest, what's their? I don't know.

  439. But I'm here and it's good and I love it and God is good all the

  440. time and they can't even answer. What have you been saved from?

  441. And then when you throw that well punishment, tell me if I

  442. which one makes me a better parent if My child I know is

  443. going to do wrong. Goes out, runs out in the street

  444. and gets hit by a car and I know it's going to happen.

  445. But I pick them up, I take them to the best doctors and get them

  446. patched up the best I can. And I take care of them and make

  447. sure. Listen, you got hurt, but I'm

  448. going to, we've got the whole environment here to restore you

  449. or am I better as a parent to protect them from the thing that

  450. would cause them to have to go through the whole recovery?

  451. Then we say, father God. We think he's a deadbeat dad.

  452. We think that he's up there sitting going.

  453. Yeah, we'll see what you do. Let's see it.

  454. Lets see it, lets see it up your gut.

  455. Okay, do what you want? Look, okay, now, I guess we're

  456. gonna have to restore you again and there's this whole cycle

  457. with God, that he's just forgiving and saving us after

  458. the after we've done it. And it well, there's a

  459. punishment but we'll get you out the punishment.

  460. Oh, there's a punishment will get you out of the punishment

  461. and he's not here as your bailout plan for your

  462. punishments. He did way more than that.

  463. In fact, that's what the Old Testament people lived in.

  464. There were constantly given sacrifices, because God wasn't

  465. in them, and all they can ever do was wrong.

  466. So all they were going to do. Is blow it all the time, and God

  467. was going to have to forgive every time they brought a half

  468. of a dove or a half of a cow or a half of a lizard or whatever

  469. it was, they had. Every time they made a

  470. sacrifice, God was forgiving. Something they had done whenever

  471. Jesus showed up, he changed those the game he said, now you

  472. don't have to do the stuff that incurs punishment, he saved you

  473. from the thing that was going to hurt you.

  474. But we don't want the personal responsibility of that, not weed

  475. and Cafe church. But you understand what I'm

  476. saying? Because the gospel that I find

  477. in Powers, my choice and responsibility.

  478. The gospel that's preached. In other places.

  479. Widely removes responsibility and says just show up, do nice

  480. stuff, you're always going to fail but God, in the end will

  481. forgive That's a false message that's not in here.

  482. That's not in my Bible. Or any of the other ones I got

  483. the Bible app. I got a whole bunch of Bibles, I

  484. can't find any of them. So, let's keep going, we'll keep

  485. what will keep moving on because sin was truly the thing that

  486. bound us and held us down. I mean again, if you were

  487. chained in a Cell in a horrible place, I mean, you think of the

  488. worst circumstance you could think and some kind of prisoner

  489. of war camp because really isn't that what we were before Christ?

  490. That we were held against our well as captives by a horrible

  491. evil person that only wanted wrong for us and tormented us in

  492. our mind and in our choices in our lives, and then, you know,

  493. wreak havoc in our, in our guilt and in our families, and we were

  494. bound and all the sudden, the savior's shows up And takes you

  495. out of that. He doesn't wait until one day

  496. you die and then says now it's all going to be better.

  497. That's not a good savior. I want the Jesus.

  498. That's powerful in the grace. That's powerful to come in and

  499. break the chains off of me and get me in the Kingdom.

  500. Now noth-nothing Jesus said, just wait until it all goes in a

  501. handbasket to wherever see toeing the line here.

  502. That's the Bible were but that's all y'all think I was gonna say

  503. it. Yeah, I got catch me cussing up

  504. here or anywhere else. Let's go to first, John.

  505. Because the work that Jesus did was not just to forgive your

  506. past sins. And I found so many Believers

  507. really can only talk about where they came from.

  508. And who they were and the old man, and look what I did before

  509. God, and here's my testimony, but really answer the better

  510. question. Where are you going?

  511. Because I could ask the question you were, what were you saved

  512. from? But the better question to ask

  513. is what were you saved for? Why did he save you?

  514. Because he loves us. Listen go listen to pastors

  515. Wednesday night messages on the route of love.

  516. Does God? Love us?

  517. Sure enough. He loves us.

  518. But why were we saved? Why did he save us?

  519. Just so that we could feel his love?

  520. No. We got it.

  521. This isn't you know that he Capital H in case you didn't

  522. know when you read the Bible, there's a capital H for he

  523. that's talking about God or Jesus.

  524. Some of your like duh and then some of your like, oh my gosh, I

  525. just learned one thing tonight. I know that he appeared in order

  526. to take away sins and in him. There is no sin.

  527. Okay, let's read this part again.

  528. Okay, he came to take away sins and in him, there is no sin.

  529. Are you in Christ? Are you in sin?

  530. Because you can't be see, you're getting it, it doesn't work.

  531. Sin and Christ are impossible. Roommates.

  532. They're never moving in together.

  533. They can never dwell together. You'll never find them both in

  534. the same room. In him, there is no sin, no one

  535. who abides in him sins. Okay, hold on.

  536. I got it. I already heard it.

  537. I heard it from some of you already.

  538. Well brother, sometimes we make mistakes.

  539. You know if we sent we're not talking about making a mistake

  540. as a Believer, we're talking about habitually choosing to

  541. just send and go against What God Says.

  542. So let me give that disclaimer very clearly when you're saying

  543. well, since you know, I've you know, what happens when we sent

  544. listen, I'm talking about people who know what God Said and

  545. choose, I'm not going to do that.

  546. So know that as we continue to read, there's no one who abides

  547. in him sins. No one who sins has seen him or

  548. knows him little children, make sure that no one deceives.

  549. You the one who practices righteousness is what now hold

  550. on. I thought we'd been made

  551. righteous Have we been made righteous in Christ?

  552. Yes. Absolutely.

  553. We have So the question is, do we maintain that?

  554. Talking about Works. Your whole life is about works.

  555. You wake up in the morning because it works and you go sit

  556. down at your works and you do your Works.

  557. Don't tell me about Works. Everything we do is working and

  558. doing and moving. And that's because we're alive,

  559. and we're moving forward and we're passionate about

  560. everything that we're doing. So yeah, you're going to work

  561. something. You might as well say.

  562. I'm going to stay righteous. How do you stay righteous?

  563. Practice righteousness. O.

  564. If I said a person who's practicing sin is someone who is

  565. making a choice. I'm not going to do what God

  566. said. Well then the opposite for

  567. righteousness would mean I'm going to do what God Said and

  568. that behavior and that attitude and that heart is righteous.

  569. So don't be deceived a person who practices righteousness.

  570. That's a righteous person. Just as he remember, Capital H,

  571. I just told you that you should have written that down.

  572. He is righteous the one who practices sin is of who, the

  573. devil for the devil has sinned from the beginning and the Son

  574. of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of

  575. the devil. No one.

  576. Who is born of God practices sin. because, There you go,

  577. because his seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is

  578. born of God. There's a lot, there's a lot to

  579. be said, go back to the last slide.

  580. Okay. So in keeping life simple.

  581. The person who practices righteousness is what a person,

  582. who habitually practices sin is. Of sin.

  583. And as of who is of the devil for the devil, has sinned from

  584. the beginning. And the Son of God Jesus

  585. appeared for this purpose. To destroy what?

  586. What are the works of the devil? Don't say sin?

  587. Don't do not, do not do that. To me, you're going to leave

  588. here. And your children are going to

  589. ask you what you learn about, you like sin, because that's

  590. what they do to you in class. You know.

  591. We taught him a whole lot more in a cafe Church than that, big

  592. walk. I say what you learn about,

  593. Jesus. What about Jesus?

  594. Don't do that to me. The Works that it's got to be

  595. deeper than that, right? So let's find out what we're his

  596. works. From the beginning.

  597. Let's look at it. Let's go to Isaiah chapter 14.

    Isaiah 14 chapter mention

  598. This is the first account that we have of something that was

  599. taking place before planet Earth.

  600. Before the creation, there was this whole coup that happened in

  601. heaven. so, if we pick up in the stories, Where's it at?

  602. See, I told you if it happens going to call you by name,

  603. Kevin. There we go.

  604. Everybody say thank you, Kevin. He's the man.

  605. I'm telling you, he's one of the best that I've got back there.

  606. Isaiah Chapter, 14, verse 1 through you, you saw it 32.

  607. We're not going to read all the way there, but it says when the

  608. Lord. Wait wait, hold on.

  609. Skip ahead for me to verse 12. Almost.

  610. Here we go. So we pick up in the prophet,

  611. Isaiah's, getting this picture of something that happened in

  612. heaven before the creation. It says, and how you have fallen

  613. from heaven Oh, star of the morning.

  614. O, son of the Dawn. You have been cut down to the

  615. Earth, you who have weakened the nation's but you said in your

  616. heart. So get this.

  617. This is the devil. This is Lucifer and his

  618. beginning. The first time that we see

  619. rebellion in God's kingdom. He says, you said in your heart,

  620. I will say, I will, I will Ascend to Heaven.

  621. I will say I will. I will raise my throne above the

  622. stars of God and I will say, I will I will sit on the Mount of

  623. the assembly in the recesses of the north, and I will see, you

  624. got it Ascend above the heights of the clouds.

  625. And I will make myself like the most most high.

  626. But then it says nevertheless, you will be thrust down into

  627. sheol to the recesses of the pit.

  628. So the first time that we see sin or what we could call

  629. original sin because it doesn't get any more original or Was it

  630. precedent-setting than this? The route of the first fall in

  631. sin, was selfishness. The devil said, I will do what I

  632. want. Above what God wants.

  633. That's the work. The first work of the devil that

  634. we just read was in the beginning.

  635. So then the very next time that we see him show up and start.

  636. Doing his work in the earth is in Genesis chapter 3.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  637. Starting in verse 1. I deserve this because I did

  638. this to Pastor last week, I made him.

  639. Wait, Genesis chapter 3 verse 1. It says now the serpent was more

    Genesis 3:1

  640. crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had

  641. made. Do we know who that is.

  642. And he said to the woman indeed has God said You shall not eat

  643. from any tree of the garden. And didn't we read earlier that?

  644. God told Adam, eat freely of any tree but do not eat of the tree

  645. of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

  646. That's in the middle of the garden.

  647. Don't do it. The only command God gave that

  648. was an either, or the only one is the first conversation, the

  649. enemy brings up. Why didn't he talk about

  650. anything else? Why did he make up any other

  651. sin? Why didn't he get Eve to try to

  652. cheat on her husband? Or why didn't he get her to go

  653. and try to steal from something or, or do any other kind of

  654. detestable thing that we can think of?

  655. What did he try to tempt her say you should murder Adam.

  656. Think about it. The only thing that he wanted to

  657. happen was to find. What has God said, all I want to

  658. get them to do is disobey it. He didn't tempt her with

  659. anything else. So he comes in.

  660. He says, indeed has God said, You shall not eat from any tree

  661. of the garden that has he said that don't eat from anything.

  662. Then that just soundless, you crafty.

  663. God said you can't eat, right? Like you're not allowed to eat

  664. at all. Well no.

  665. Oh okay, let's have a conversation then sneaky sneaky

  666. sneaky snake. It says the woman said to the

  667. serpent from the fruit of the Trees of the garden.

  668. We may eat but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle

  669. of the garden, God said, do not eat from it or touch it or you

  670. will die. Now whether she added or didn't

  671. not my concern, but this next part is interesting of all the

  672. things he could have told her or had her do and all of the sin

  673. that is that is in the Earth and all the options and

  674. opportunities. The only thing he came after was

  675. what God Said. Think about it.

  676. If the word of God leave this up here, the word of God is so

  677. valuable. That God himself said, I exalt

  678. my word above my own name. He's got the name above all

  679. names, but he said there's one thing that's higher than that.

  680. And that's my word. In fact, the way he created the

  681. whole universe was with his word, whenever mankind fella

  682. says, he sent forth his word. So the most powerful entity in

  683. the whole universe, is the word of God.

  684. And that's the only thing, the devil cared about even in the

  685. garden and he shows up. And he says, what did God say?

  686. Then the serpent says what God Said won't happen.

  687. You won't die for God knows that in the day that you eat of it.

  688. Now listen, listen wait, go back, go back.

  689. Listen to how the conversation then turns.

  690. Because at this point, Adam and Eve have purpose.

  691. They've been given a mandate they've been given their terms

  692. and conditions of what keeps this Dominion mandate.

  693. And all they know is, God said it, we're doing it. then the

  694. devil says, listen, God knows that in the day that you eat of

  695. it, you know, we kind of read through this quickly, but he

  696. made it personal He said it in the day.

  697. You eat of it. Go back.

  698. Go back, go back. For God knows that in the day

  699. that you eat, now, you can go forward from it.

  700. Your eyes will be opened. All of the sudden they went from

  701. this God, focus of purpose. And what God has assigned them

  702. to your eyes will be opened. When you eat your eyes will be

  703. open. Doesn't this sound like his work

  704. in the beginning? When he said, I will do what I

  705. want. I'll have the only way that he

  706. could get them on board, with his way of thinking, is to get

  707. them to say, but you will have your eyes opened.

  708. And you will be like God knowing Good and Evil.

  709. And then here's where the whole shift takes place.

  710. Before the fruit was eaten in verse six, everything falls

  711. apart right here. In this verse, it says, when the

  712. woman saw that the tree was good for food, When the woman saw was

  713. she blind before, did she see the tree before?

  714. Did she know that it was there because she saw it.

  715. So this is a different kind of seeing This is when the woman

  716. saw that the tree was good for food and that it was a delight

  717. to the eyes. And it was desirable to make one

  718. wise. She took.

  719. She fell right into the Trap. the same trap that every

  720. believer, Will fall into if they don't know where they are in

  721. this Kingdom. And that is the choice between.

  722. Do I get what I want or do I do what he wants?

  723. Is my focus on what the king says or is my focus on what it

  724. does for me? But I want see that's dangerous.

  725. Talk. I need some me time.

  726. How about it? Just all be his time whatever

  727. I'm doing. I know the Lord.

  728. I feel like the Lord has drawn me that but I careful careful

  729. because you're not sounding like Jesus.

  730. You're not sounding like Kingdom.

  731. We read Genesis 1:26 and God says, let them rule.

    Genesis 1:26

  732. They don't sound like ruling. Because the moment that she he

  733. was able to get her to focus on herself more than what God Said.

  734. Then she fell to the Temptation and did what we call Sin.

  735. She disobeyed the word of the king all sin stems from you.

  736. Choosing what you want above? What God Said.

  737. That's the root of all sin. A selfish choice to take what I

  738. want instead of what God has said and every day, that's all

  739. you're faced with is that choice?

  740. That's your tree everyday self or God.

  741. So God could talk to Modern Believers this way.

  742. He could say listen. Any good thing that I've ever

  743. made for you everything. I've said in my word is all at

  744. your disposal, take all of it and choose all of it.

  745. There's just one thing you can't choose.

  746. That's yourself. The moment you eat from the Tree

  747. of self. You destroy your Dominion. so,

  748. if we need to be saved, Couldn't we say the greatest thing that

  749. Jesus saved me from I could say this, the greatest thing he

  750. saved me from was myself. I don't have to side with myself

  751. anymore. If I come to a situation where

  752. my own selfish desires rise up, I don't have to choose me.

  753. I can choose him. And in that moment, I don't need

  754. saving from a consequence. I'm saved because I don't have

  755. to have a consequence. I'm not in curing more and more

  756. and more consequences every day because I'm just a sorry sinner.

  757. Don't be deceived if you're a sinner, you practice sin and

  758. that's what you are. But if you're righteous, you

  759. practice righteousness. It's really simple.

  760. I love how that verse remember it started, I said, oh, little

  761. children, That means this is Elementary principal.

  762. The one who practices righteousness is, what the one

  763. who practices sin is what a sinner and belongs to.

  764. How are we over comp? Yeah, thank you.

  765. Being a light bulb. It's not just the shine on my

  766. head. See, I knew that joke would go

  767. over. Well, it's not in here.

  768. I didn't write it down. Pastor Marcus would have.

  769. I did not so note that So again, when Jesus shows up as our

  770. ultimate example, he didn't show up as a person who continually

  771. blew it and all we see is his pattern of making a mistake and

  772. how to get out of the mistake and making a mistake and how to

  773. get out of mistake and make a mistake and talking to the

  774. father. That was not his pattern.

  775. His pattern was only dominating, it was only Rising above

  776. Temptation and saying I don't have to succumb to it.

  777. It was only being faced with situations that he said I'm

  778. gonna choose God. And Jesus is the perfect example

  779. because he always only ever chose God.

  780. But he's Jesus, right? Nobody's perfect.

  781. Hey hey, hey, don't say that. You sound stupid because

  782. somebody was his name is Jesus and he's your example and you

  783. would say I'm a Christian. I'm christ-like.

  784. I'm like Christ in every way except I sent all the time, you

  785. can't be that you can't be in Christ and a thinner.

  786. Doesn't it sound wacky? I mean, seriously, there's

  787. people other Christian radio just this week.

  788. It's why I don't turn it on and it came on randomly against my

  789. will. I didn't want it on and it came

  790. on this person was like, you know, we're all just sorry

  791. Sinners. Why is that a coin?

  792. The phrase among the charge If you're a sorry sinner, you're

  793. not in with him. Again, in the Old Testament.

  794. That's what they were Abraham. All them could get together and

  795. sing together. We're all sorry.

  796. Sinners saved by grace. Let me they were Sinners.

  797. It was inevitable in their life but Jesus is work in his death

  798. burial and Resurrection saved. You from the inevitability of

  799. sin, it is no longer what just happens with you.

  800. We're all human. Yeah, we're all human, but I'm

  801. in a different kind of humanity. I'm in a redeemed, Humanity, I

  802. got born again. I came into this Kingdom, and I

  803. know where I am. I'm not lost in the woods.

  804. I know where I'm supposed to be. Ask me what I've been saved

  805. from. I've got an answer.

  806. It's good. The last question that we really

  807. last is what are we saved for? Because again, if this was

  808. really just about Jesus coming and dying so that you could just

  809. go to heaven, one day, he didn't have to do that.

  810. He came to empower your daily living.

  811. He didn't save you for an end goal.

  812. He saved you for now, in fact all through the gospels, Jesus

  813. was always addressing people's present tense life.

  814. Present tense. This Kingdom that we preach is

  815. not a just a future tense. Its present tense, right now.

  816. When you got transferred from the domain of Darkness, could

  817. do, we all understand this? This passage, we were

  818. transferred from the domain of Darkness into the kingdom of his

  819. beloved Son in whom, there is redemption and forgiveness of

  820. sins. When are we there?

  821. Maybe. When are we there?

  822. When did that happen? Are you in the Kingdom right

  823. now? Where does that happen?

  824. When you die? Does it change the way you live

  825. right now? Or will it just be better when

  826. you die? Is there something you need to

  827. do? Is their responsibility for you

  828. because I found most Believers when they're lost in the woods

  829. is because they have allowed sin to come in and have such a

  830. strong hold. That it breaks off their

  831. dominion. And even though they're supposed

  832. to dominate, they fall into the Trap of trying to dominate while

  833. being dominated and it'll never happen.

  834. If something dominates you, you'll never dominate the planet

  835. and if your purpose is to dominate the planet and

  836. something's dominating you, you'll never enter your destiny.

  837. And I found so many times, when somebody says what's my purpose,

  838. you know, I just want to know my purpose.

  839. It's a big question, guys. It's a huge question.

  840. How do you find your purpose? I mean, it's one of the biggest

  841. challenges you'll ever have is finding and entering into the

  842. assignment that God gave you before you were born.

  843. But so many people can't find their purpose because the

  844. foundation of their purpose is to dominate yet.

  845. They constantly allow other things to dominate them and they

  846. you can't dominate while being dominated.

  847. I've got this addiction and, you know, God just, he's just

  848. forgives me and I just go back to it from time to time, but

  849. it's just because it's just, you know, I'm just only human.

  850. I gave up only human when I got into Christ.

  851. I became a god human. I came a human with the spirit

  852. of God living inside of me. That's different than only

  853. human. So, I'm not only human, I'm no

  854. longer mirrored in the Apostle. Paul say that we're no longer

  855. mirror, we're something greater because the greater one is in

  856. US. Okay, well, let's look over

  857. here. Let's go to Ephesians chapter 2

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  858. because what were we saved for? Why did we be saved?

  859. Why does this matter? If he's ins 2:1.

  860. Says and when you were dead in your trespasses and sins, we've

  861. covered clearly before Christ. We were this, right?

  862. We were dead in our trespasses and sins.

  863. Then it says in which you formerly walked according to the

  864. course of this world, according to the prince of the power of

  865. the air of the spirit that is now working in the sons of

  866. disobedience. The sons of Disobedience sin is

  867. simply disobeying the word of the king, which means these

  868. people are just operating. It's in verse 3, says among

  869. them. We too all formerly lived in the

  870. lusts of our flesh. Important to note the word

  871. formerly, he's not talking to Believers at the church of

  872. Ephesus and saying we to all presently live in the lusts of

  873. our flesh because we're all just sorry.

  874. Sinners saved by grace. No.

  875. He said, we formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh.

  876. Indulging in the desires of the Flesh, and of the mind.

  877. And by Nature, we were children of Wrath, even as the rest verse

  878. 4, but God being rich in Mercy. Let me just tell you, you didn't

  879. deserve his saving. We didn't deserve it again.

  880. Nobody's given the argument that.

  881. It's not of it's not of Works. Lest any man should boast.

  882. It wasn't something we did to earn his saving us.

  883. But now that he's saved us, don't diminish what he's done

  884. because you want to go back to what he saved you from.

  885. Again, even as a parent, leave that up there as a parent, if my

  886. child went over and got shocked in electrocuted in the light

  887. socket and I rescued them on my oh my gosh and we are

  888. resuscitated him and they came back to life and I saved her

  889. life because I brought them back to life from them talking and

  890. they immediately got up and went back again and I just let him do

  891. it and then I'll just CPR again. And we just have this cycle

  892. where every time they get up how wacky but how many Believers are

  893. doing that the very thing they were saved from and rescued from

  894. in the consequence that they had all the sudden they wake up in

  895. their salvation and go right back to the thing they need

  896. saving from He didn't come to save your consequence.

  897. He came to save you from the thing that was creating

  898. consequence. But God being rich in Mercy

  899. because of his great love and which he loved us.

  900. Even when we We're dead in our transgressions transgressions,

  901. he made us alive together with Christ by Grace.

  902. You've been saved and he raised us up with him and seated us

  903. with him in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

  904. Say in Christ is their sin and Christ.

  905. Where are you in? Christ is their sin and you are

  906. you gonna sin? If you do, can you stay in

  907. Christ? Deep question.

  908. We're gonna keep going verse 7, so that in ages to come, he

  909. might show The surpassing Riches of his grace and kindness

  910. towards us in Christ. Is their sin in Christ.

  911. If you want. What's in Christ?

  912. Can you get it through sin? Okay.

  913. Just trying to, We're just trying to just just do we get

  914. it, you know, I'm just wondering.

  915. For by Grace, you have been saved through faith, not of

  916. ourselves, but is a gift of God, not as the result of works.

  917. So that one may boast, but for we are his workmanship.

  918. And, again, we ask the question, what were you say from?

  919. But then the next question is, what were you saved for?

  920. It's answered here. We were his workmanship created

  921. in Christ for, that's a bad word and it's in the Bible.

  922. Works as a bad word. In fact, I find most of the time

  923. when someone wants to quote, to me something about works that

  924. use this passage It's not of our works, lest any man should

  925. boast. but if you just finish out the passage, it says, we

  926. were his workmanship created in Christ for Good works.

  927. Which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

  928. I think God is expecting more from Believers than Believers.

  929. Are expecting from believers. Are we tracking with What's

  930. Happening Here? God, prepared and created us for

  931. good works. So you were saved to do.

  932. The Lord's will and there's nothing holding you back from

  933. always obeying and getting it right?

  934. Every time. The only thing that would

  935. Endeavor hinder you is the same thing that would hinder even the

  936. garden. The same thing that would I

  937. mean, who was listen, who was Lucifer's enemy?

  938. We know that in this in the story that picks up with

  939. Humanity, the enemy in the garden is the serpent.

  940. Who was the Serpent's enemy in heaven?

  941. Himself. Sometimes we we pray and we want

  942. God to Deliver Us from something.

  943. But the thing we really need to liver from is our flesh.

  944. And I'm sorry you can't have a Deliverance service for the

  945. flesh. You're not gonna come down,

  946. we're gonna play Canada and I look what the lawn and you come

  947. down and just dance the flash off.

  948. You're gonna put on worship music in your house and your

  949. flesh is going to melt away. And when you make your daily

  950. choices and daily decisions, you're still gonna have to

  951. choose. Do I side with what I want or do

  952. I side with What God Says? Do I side with my flesh?

  953. Or do I side with my spirit? It's Paul was clear.

  954. You're at War these two things, go against each other.

  955. All the time. You're never free from the

  956. conflict of do I choose flash, or do I choose spirit?

  957. In fact, if he delivered you from the conflict, he's removed.

  958. Your free will. The existence of the choice.

  959. Do I choose God? Or do I choose me?

  960. Means you have a free will in a God who will never violate that.

  961. And it's such a powerful, Eternal principle.

  962. The devil will never ever violated either ever.

  963. The devil is coming after me. Yeah, but he's coming after you

  964. with one thing. A choice.

  965. Always the devil made me do it. No he didn't.

  966. You're a little kid, little kid. Say that stuff.

  967. Don't be a little baby about it. That wouldn't make you do

  968. anything to bed. Offered you?

  969. A choice C was easy for you when she really just new.

  970. I'm just gonna do what God wants and all the sudden, whenever a,

  971. the contrary came in and was handed over on a platter, don't

  972. do what God Said. He didn't force her to do

  973. anything. He offered a choice to choose.

  974. Do you want what you want or do you want?

  975. My God doesn't? He had a good argument?

  976. Look what it would do for you? Think about you think about your

  977. family. Think about how tired you would

  978. be. Think about how hard it is,

  979. raining outside and churches today.

  980. But what if the rain gets you really wet before you go in?

  981. You can listen on YouTube on Thursday.

  982. But God said don't forsake the assembling of ourselves together

  983. and why would I do that for the sake of the weather?

  984. But what will it do for your kids?

  985. They'll get wet to. These are the real life

  986. situations that we deal with. We're not I mean not God's not

  987. tempting. Everybody to murder and rape and

  988. steal and plunder with good people.

  989. All he does is he tempts you with good things?

  990. That aren't the right thing that God said?

  991. Because in the end all he tempted Eve with was, eat some

  992. fruit. Who's going to say that's bad.

  993. Who ate fruit today. Was it bad?

  994. No. So what he did is tempted her

  995. with something that was good but not right?

  996. But we have to be mature enough to distinguish between the two.

  997. What has God said that I should do?

  998. What has God said in his word? Do I do that thing or do?

  999. I do what I want? The last scripture tonight,

1000. we'll look at is this and we should leave here tonight.

1001. Empowered, we started one way. We're ending one way because I

1002. do want to make mention to this because I just have this

1003. thought, you know what, it was awesome.

1004. So I'm going to say it God started the whole story with the

1005. tree. And when that one fell apart, he

1006. started a new story with you with a tree, the thing.

1007. Wow. In the Bible, it says that

1008. cursed is any man that hangs on a tree.

1009. Why? Because the first curse was

1010. hanging on a tree. It was taken off the tree.

1011. And use selfishly. So, be careful with what you do

1012. with the man who hung on a tree for you.

1013. Because you can take him selfishly and miss the gift.

1014. that when man fell with the first tree, got offered a second

1015. tree, that contained all that you would need to overcome 1st.

1016. John 4:4 says this you are from God little children and you have

    John 4:4

1017. overcome overcome. Say I've overcome Because

1018. greater is he? Remember, look, he with the

1019. capital, got it. He that is in you, he who is in

1020. you than he, who is in the world.

1021. What could the world come against you with?

1022. That would force you to forfeit your Dominion.

1023. Nothing. The better question is, what

1024. could you do and bring against yourself to forfeit your

1025. Dominion? Because in the end, whether we

1026. do God's will or don't will stand before him?

1027. Alone, not with our pastors, not with our parents, not with our

1028. friends, not with our children, not with the person who did us

1029. wrong. we're all alone will stand there and he'll say, Did

  1030. you do? My will?

1031. Or did you do yours? And you'll give an answer.

1032. One of my favorite quotes by c.s.

1033. Lewis, is he said in the end? There's only two kinds of

1034. people. Those who say to the Lord thy

1035. will be done and those to whom. The Lord says, thy will be done.

1036. You have the choice and the ability to choose God to choose,

1037. right? And to live above sin.

1038. And only you. But again first John, 4:4 and

1039. you are from God. And you have overcome because

1040. greater is what's inside of you than anything that could come

  1041. against you. Amen.

1042. All right. Let's pray father.

1043. God, we thank you, Lord, so much for the word tonight.

1044. We thank you that you truly have redeemed, us and saved us, and

1045. brought us out of what was damaging Our Lives into a

1046. lifestyle, that would only produce life, and joy and peace

1047. at all times. Lord, you empowered more than

1048. just A consequence in an afterlife, but Lord, you

1049. empowered, our present life and our ability to choose right?

1050. Right now, So father I pray right now.

1051. I think he that each and every one of us Lord, no matter where

1052. we've come from. No matter what.

1053. We've done, we don't focus on who we used to be or where we

1054. came from. But Lord continue to reveal to

1055. us the plans in the purposes and the and the dreams and the

1056. things that you have for us in our future so that we can truly

1057. give an answer and say I'm a Child of God.

1058. I was a sorry sinner. I was bound by sin but Grace has

1059. brought me and made me a brand new person who's no longer

1060. hindered by anything. This world will throw at me.
