Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast
-
from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now, enjoy this message. If you have your Bibles, turn
-
over to Psalms 40 and verse 7. How many you do in your Bible
-
reading plan right now? How many red today?
-
Then you read this verse because this in today's Bible reading
-
plan and you know, I was at the house, I had a few things, come
-
up. And so I went to a place that I
-
get a lot of things from God and that was, I decided to cut my
-
yard and pray. I seriously get a lot of stuff
-
cutting grass, I probably should buy more land, be honest with
-
you. So I know when I'm preaching on
-
Friday at camp meeting, now, I know a series you're going to be
-
getting here pretty soon. You know, I got and that's a
-
pretty powerful series, just let you know, right out the gate.
-
And then, you know, then I got a heading for tonight.
-
I was like, praise the Lord, man, I got three messages.
-
Amen, he did not talk to me about Friday's service yet, but
-
that's okay. I'll get all this off my plate
-
and we'll be at a focus in on that.
-
But in Psalms chapter 40 verse 7, it said this, when I read
-
this, he gave me a launching because I like, okay, Lord, I'm
-
a preach this. Now, how do you want me to build
-
it? And then when I was reading this
-
Lord says you're going to start right here.
-
It says, then he said, behold I come in the scroll of the book
-
it is what of of me? Is written to me.
-
Now we know that Jesus himself communicated when he was alive
-
to the apostles and then to some disciples when he was walking on
-
the road with them after he was raised from the dead where he
-
was showing them how the scriptures were of him.
-
So it is true that we could say. This verse is talking about
-
Jesus, that is a true statement but Jesus is not the only one
-
who has a book Jesus is not the only one who has booked.
-
In fact, if we turn over to Psalms 139, we've read this
-
before in Psalms 139 starting in verse 13, it says that this way
-
it says for you For my inward Parts.
-
You woke me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you for.
-
I Am. What fearfully and wonderfully
-
made? Wonderful are your Works O?
-
My soul knows it. Well, my frame was hidden from
-
you when I was made in secret and skillfully wrought in the
-
depths of the earth, your eyes have seen my unformed substance
-
and in your book were were all written the days that were
-
ordained for me in your book, right?
-
When, as yet there were One of them.
-
So before you eat before you came out of your mother's womb,
-
God has a book of all your days. This is how intentional God is
-
about you that he already has a master copy of his plan for your
-
life. Are you hearing me?
-
Okay. And then he goes on and says
-
this in verse 17, can we use these stop there?
-
Let's look at verse 17 consent. You want to know what's in the
-
book. Concerning you?
-
If you could read your own book, what were some of the things be
-
saying? He said, how precious are your
-
thoughts to me? Oh, God.
-
How vast is the sum of them? If I should count them, they
-
would outnumber the sand. When I Wake, I'm still with you.
-
You know, when you talk to some Believers, you would think that
-
God went well with them. Now that doesn't mean God can't
-
be displeased. That doesn't mean that God can't
-
be angry but God's ultimate words to you or what he wants
-
you to be. And that's his thoughts toward
-
you. He may see you in a current
-
condition but his thoughts about you or the book, he wrote before
-
you ever showed up and in heaven, what he is trying to do.
-
When he communicates with you is to try to get you to see
-
yourself as he originally wrote you Now, that doesn't mean the
-
day going to go by. And when you look at the sum of
-
your choices, that God could be displeased about that.
-
But at the end of the day, what's his thoughts?
-
It would sound, let's say something like this.
-
You know, if your child falls down, you know, you hurt.
-
You know what happened? Get up ghetto.
-
You're gonna be all right. I mean, what do you do?
-
You encourage you talk? Why are you talking back to me
-
right now? Now you can't do that.
-
Now, you're better than that. And these short talking the
-
words that are right now that may not be your experience in
-
the natural because a lot of times fathers mothers,
-
Grandma's, Grandpa's Aunts, Uncles, siblings, you know.
-
All they do is talk - and then we try to Tribute that kind of
-
talk to our father but the Bible tells us put that back up that
-
his thoughts towards us are so awesome.
-
They're precious. There's a vast.
-
Some of them we can't even count if you want to.
-
I know how much God sees you as awesome.
-
Great, full of power of full of greatness.
-
I mean, I can't even give you all the different words that he
-
would use. Just go to the beach tomorrow
-
and start looking at them start, seeing yourself that way because
-
God has a book that he's written about your life and what he
-
wants is you to match your life with it.
-
In essence, he's trying to say at this stage, I want you here.
-
This is where I want you. And again, I don't care.
-
If you're 5585, if you get with God, God can accelerate.
-
So that the book he started 85 years ago, could be finished.
-
Cause God's not slack, right? I mean, Moses god knew Moses.
-
Mama knew, God had a touch on Moses.
-
The Bible says that she said he was special.
-
That's a terrible word to translate their special because
-
we're late was, she knew that he had a commission from God, a
-
Divine Destiny. This is why she would not, you
-
know, she hit him what she and then resting still by actually
-
sending him to the Palace. Where the order was to kill kids
-
just like him and she was banking on the pharaoh's
-
daughter to have compassion. And she did, she believed God
-
had such a touch of on This Boy's Life that even the law
-
against him. God's favor could show up and he
-
would be protected that she pushed him towards the Palace of
-
her enemy. Wow, how amazing is that?
-
It's so here he is. He grows up in the palace, he
-
knows he's not an Egyptian. He begins to understand that.
-
There's a call in his life to liberate his people, but he
-
tries to do it in his power and it cost him the land.
-
Meaning he can't stay there, he's ran out.
-
He runs for his life so at 40. When he tried to insert the
-
plan, the book that was written of him.
-
Before he came out of his mother's womb, he was failing.
-
But the minute he is on doing the the shepherding that he's
-
been doing for the last 40 years.
-
Now, he's 80. Get ready to retire.
-
All right. You know, I've worked 40 years
-
in the same job. I'm my first one was with the
-
state and then, you know, I fail, I made a mistake and they
-
were going to fire me. So I left, right?
-
I didn't do something right in this.
-
When I say State, you know, he worked in the king's Palace he
-
was with Pharaoh. All right, you know, that was at
-
least a 20-year job At least 20 year most of it, you know, when
-
you work for the government 20 years you can retire.
-
So he took a secondary job as a Shepherd for 40 years for the
-
next 40 years. He's doing that he's definitely
-
at retirement age, all right, but he sees a burning bush And
-
then the Lord said, let me talk to you about the book.
-
I could just say it that way, let me talk to you about the
-
book. I wrote about you, I hear the
-
cries of the edge of the Israelites, and I'm going to
-
deliver them. He's like, man, thank God.
-
About Tom. I tried that once 40 years ago,
-
didn't go well I'm glad you're doing it.
-
I failed miserably he said now you go do it.
-
Wait a minute, been there? 40, been there done.
-
That got the t-shirt. It's a wanted one.
-
It's a wanted one and I'm not your man.
-
Right? No, you the man because that's
-
the book. This is what I wrote.
-
Come on. Are you hearing me Moses?
-
I just need you to get in the book and we'll start at 80.
-
Hallelujah. I said, Hallelujah.
-
Well, this come this makes me think about these statements.
-
We've said in the past, some people are new here.
-
So this would be a new thought process.
-
But it comes from dr. Myles Munroe.
-
He said this, the greatest tragedy in life is life without
-
purpose. The greatest challenge in life
-
is knowing what to do. The greatest mistake in life is
-
being busy, but not effective and the greatest failure in life
-
is being successful in the wrong assignment.
-
Are you hearing me and there's tragedy everywhere?
-
Because many people are not living according to the book,
-
God wrote. They're living life without
-
purpose. They've not discovered why God
-
planted them in the earth. And God is trying to talk to
-
them about, get over here in my book, because in my book, it's
-
life reward, it's amazing protection.
-
All kinds of things are associated with that.
-
So in both Psalms 40 and Psalms 139, we're not just talking
-
about Jesus because God knows people and nose.
-
Is the plan for their lives before and I would, I would
-
submit all of us. So let's turn over to Jeremiah
-
Jeremiah chapter. 1 will start in verse 4.
-
We're going to read for a little while and it says this.
-
Now, the word of the Lord came to me saying before I formed you
-
in the womb. I So, Jeremiah is known before
-
he's even in the suit. Concepcion is the vehicle by
-
which who's already known by God can get in the Earth.
-
Are you hear me? So he says before you were in
-
the womb, I knew you. And before you were what born, I
-
consecrated you and I have what appointed you a prophet to the
-
nation's. So before Jeremiah comes out of
-
the womb, God has a book of his ministry.
-
And all that he wants him to do now.
-
He said, well, if he has a book, he's going to do it.
-
Not necessarily because at the end of the day, you are still
-
free will. And you're actually writing your
-
own book. This is why it's so important
-
for us to be led by the spirit and to hear the Holy Spirit on
-
what we are to do. Because God already has a book
-
that has all the answers. He knows every conflict.
-
You're going to get into. He knows every situation that's
-
going to arrive and he has an answer in a way of Escape.
-
Yet you could write your own ending.
-
Have you ever seen like trailers where it says alternate ending?
-
They had an alternate ending. You're like, wow man.
-
That would have been totally different if they would have
-
done it that way, right? And here's the thing, God will
-
let you choose because if God was making you do the book he
-
wrote about you, then you would have no choice which means then
-
by all rights. No one can go to the Lake of
-
Fire. Because it's not actually free
-
will. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
Don't you think he had a book for Adam?
-
It would have looked a lot different but Adam ate fruit, 81
-
fruit that he wasn't supposed to eat and he was separated from
-
God, are you hearing me? So, here we can write, and when
-
we stand before the Lord, the Bible tells the Revelation that
-
he'll bring out the books. He'll bring the books out and
-
he'll bring all the books and then a book called the Lamb's
-
Book of Life. Now think about this in the end
-
when he judges the dead does God not know where they're coming
-
from? Yet when the dead come, he pulls
-
out the Lamb's Book of Life and he searches to see if it's in
-
it. Now, I had a thought when I saw
-
this. I thought, I wonder if The books
-
that judge people. To be cast into the Lake of Fire
-
is the same book that rewards people.
-
I'm thinking now, I'm not giving you like thus saith the Lord,
-
but I'm thinking and what causes the things written in this book
-
to either be punishment proof that your sin exists or reward
-
is associated to your life. Could it be if your name is in
-
the Lamb's Book of Life? If your name is in the Lamb's
-
Book of Life than what's written in the book about you?
-
Because don't, you know, he's writing a book about everything
-
you're doing right now. See, we love religious Jesus.
-
We don't want to believe or we don't know that the Bible is
-
about a king, his kingdom in his role Offspring and that the
-
king, who is the king of domain. That's why it's Kingdom and that
-
his children are of his species, and he rewards based upon his
-
word that even us, who are children of God through a
-
confession of faith, that Jesus Christ came died and Rose from
-
the grave that he records. Everything nothing we've done in
-
the earth after our existence with Christ, and he'll open up
-
those books to reward us according to those deeds.
-
What activates those deeds to be rewards?
-
Where's your name is your name in the Lamb's Book of Life?
-
Does that name? Then calls all of that.
-
Those accounts to be looked at differently.
-
It's a good question because here's the thing.
-
God he is God and he keeps books.
-
He's a bookkeeper. Are you hearing me?
-
So here he is. He says Jeremiah this was my
-
plan for you. So Jeremiah is number one. and
-
all of us are number one assignment in the planet, Is to
-
discover what God knows about us.
-
This is why when I we began to learn this more and more.
-
My wife, and I changed the way we talk to our children, no
-
longer. Did I ever tell my child?
-
You can do whatever you want to do.
-
I quit that I said, son, daughter, Sons daughter.
-
The greatest thing you can do is discover God's plan for your
-
life because you'll find yourself.
-
You will actually discover you everything else you do won't
-
matter. Anything else that you do won't
-
matter fact, the Bible says there are great names that are
-
known in the earth that are going to be cast into the Lake
-
of Fire. And on Earth, their exploits,
-
the remembered. Through history yet.
-
In God's eyes. It's a blip.
-
It's a vapor. It's nothing.
-
Never to be remembered ever. Once he cast them into the Lake
-
of Fire is done, only memory will have his that's, that's the
-
prisoners. Those are the rebellious ones.
-
Right. Don't even remember their name,
-
but you'll have a name. I said you'll have a name.
-
Hallelujah. God loved me so much that he's
-
got a book written for me and he wants me to discover myself.
-
This is amazing. So he tells Jeremiah he said,
-
listen, I pointed you to be a prophet to the nation's, but
-
look what Jeremiah says in verse 6.
-
He said then I said alas, Lord, God behold.
-
I do not know how to speak because I I am a youth.
-
Now, before I go on and read the, the remainder of this
-
chapter of a good pastor friend of mine, was talking to me.
-
Oh, just about Ministry in general.
-
And I have used this phrase multiple times now, so much.
-
So that when I was outside praying saying, Lord, what do
-
you want me to go tonight that it came back up in me?
-
And I realized this is bigger than just that statement to me.
-
And I've said it enough. In fact, I've recognized that's
-
Holy Ghost moment, you Sometimes we'll just say stuff in our
-
everyday life or in a situation and we don't realize how much
-
the Holy Ghost is attached to that phrase. so, a good friend
-
of mine Pastor Josh Pennington was telling me about a situation
-
where his wife, he was asking his wife to do something in the
-
church and when he was asking her to do something, she
-
basically was being like Moses and being like Jeremiah,
-
Basically, developing an excuse of why they can't.
-
What did Moses do? He said, yeah, so I get there.
-
Who am I supposed to say sent me, right?
-
I mean first, he pulls that card.
-
He said, tell him I am sent you all right?
-
What if they don't believe that? What do you got in your hand?
-
Right? Does the whole little staff and
-
and hand deal at that point, he's like okay, I don't speak
-
well right. Same thing, this guy here is not
-
saying that he can't speak. Well, he just saying, I'm a
-
youth in essence, Jeremiah says why are you using?
-
I don't have any experience. So Pastor Josh painted, his wife
-
said to him, I said honey, I don't I don't think I'm capable.
-
And he said this, Holy Ghost term and I want you to get this
-
tonight. He said to her Honey, it may be
-
beyond your experience but it's not Beyond Your Capacity.
-
I want that to sink in tonight it may be beyond your experience
-
but it's not Beyond Your Capacity.
-
Now by definition experience means knowledge skill or
-
practice from direct participation in events or
-
activities. In essence you can say I've done
-
that, you know, I'm experienced there.
-
I've done it, you know, I'm well trained.
-
I know how to do it. You know, I could talk to Right
-
now. How many you know how to build a
-
wall according to code? Anybody raise your hand.
-
There's a couple there more. All right now not everybody
-
can't which means you don't have the experience, but there's
-
plenty in the room who have the experience because not only have
-
they studied it on a in a book or on a piece of paper, but
-
they've actually done it themselves and had it inspected
-
by the one. Who knows how it's supposed to
-
be done, okay? Are you hearing me?
-
All right, so there are things that we are experiencing a lot
-
of times, you know, we are always looking for experience
-
and thinking that we're better if we have experience.
-
Yeah, the word capacity means this the power to produce
-
perform or deploy. So the Lord told me this, he
-
said, the world gives you opportunities based on
-
experience, but the Lord are the kingdom gives you opportunities
-
based on capacity. I'm gonna say that again, the
-
world gives you opportunities based on experience but the Lord
-
or the kingdom gives you opportunities based on capacity.
-
Because when God begins to talk to you, he's not talking to you
-
based upon your experience. He's talking to you based upon
-
your capacity. But we want to talk to God about
-
our inexperience. Well or now I can't do that.
-
I want you to get up and get on the worship team and saying, I
-
can't do that. I'm not experienced like them.
-
Well, here's the job. You know?
-
I want you to apply for, I can't do that.
-
I don't have that experience. Are you hearing me?
-
I mean we will disqualify ourselves because we have it.
-
We don't have a knowledge or skill or practice of direct
-
participation in something. We'll begin to disqualify
-
ourselves yet the Lord's. Like you've got the capacity,
-
it's not Beyond Your Capacity. So here's Jeremiah saying look,
-
I'm just a youth at the end of the day.
-
I don't know how to see. I'm not eloquent, I'm not.
-
I'm a young got. You're calling me a prophet to
-
the nation's. I'm just a kid.
-
I don't have this kind of experience.
-
And the Lord says to him verse 7, look what he says.
-
But the Lord said to me, do not say I'm a youth boy.
-
Some of you need a quick, calling yourself what you think
-
you are. And that's the difference
-
between God, being able to utilize you or not is because
-
you keep talking about yourself in your experience and God wants
-
you to talk about yourself in your capacity.
-
And the reason why the church itself is not further along
-
because we have too many believers who are stuck in it
-
and evaluating their lives on their experience and not asking
-
God. Well what's my capacity?
-
What's my capacity? Because man, when you start
-
wondering what your capacity is, Well then you let Faith take
-
hold. I said you left Faith.
-
Take hold you all of a sudden say, God is, say, I want you to
-
do this and you're like, yes, sir.
-
And, you know, I have no experience here but at your word
-
I must have the capacity. Are you one of ask me?
-
You wouldn't have commanded me. You wouldn't have called me to
-
it. You wouldn't have said, I'm
-
supposed to do it. Because the minute you are
-
looking at your experience based upon something God calls, you
-
you're really evaluating yourself with a scene realm.
-
You're looking at someone else and now that means you're
-
automatically in your placing deeper within you that which
-
already exists called insecurity.
-
And you're inferior. Two others.
-
When you walk in a room you should not feel like you're
-
under anybody. Now, I'm not talking conceited,
-
I'm not talking cocky, I'm talking self-aware purpose, I
-
don't care if I walk in a room and they have 10 phds behind
-
them. I don't care if their brain
-
surgeons, I don't care if they've been to the moon and
-
back 15 time. I don't care if they've held
-
political office for the majority of their life, I don't
-
care if they've got five Nobel, Peace prizes.
-
I don't care if they, you know, No, discover the next medical
-
something that changed our they invented something that's
-
changed though. I don't care because God's
-
capacity and me to do whatever he's asked me to do.
-
Makes me equal. Maybe even more superior, but
-
I'm not trying to be better. I'm just wanting to find me.
-
I just want to find me, I want to be the best me that I can be
-
because God destined me at the end of the day.
-
I'm not trying to be like you, I don't want to be like you, your
-
you, I want you to find you. So you can beat you because if
-
you'll be you and I'll be me will be awesome.
-
Cause we'll all be following the will of our father finding
-
ourselves. We won't be in competition.
-
There will be no, such thing as compact will be like cheering
-
each other. Look at what God look what God's
-
doing in your life. Wow, you did what and you like
-
you know to know girl that you don't know nothing about that,
-
but God just did that. I mean, don't you want to live
-
the but God life, that life, where people, like, my gosh,
-
man. I don't even know how they own
-
that stage right now, but God did that, right?
-
Because capacity, showed up, you had the Consciousness.
-
The consciousness of an awareness that God has called
-
you to something bigger than yourself.
-
And at the end of the day experience was not, what's in
-
that on the table? What's on the table is my
-
capacity. Incapacity can expand.
-
Are you hearing me wink-wink capacity, calls paying follows?
-
Now, when I say that I'm not talking about Trial tribulation,
-
although that can be a source of pain, some of the pain is you
-
just having to stretch yourself? But what I'm learning more and
-
more about capacity, it's actually making the grace of God
-
active. You're basically starting to
-
walk into Kingdom ability. Hallelujah.
-
But let's go on see what he says.
-
It says it. But the Lord said to me do not
-
say your I am a youth because everywhere I send you you shall
-
go and all that. I command you, you shall speak.
-
Do not be afraid of them for. I am with you to deliver you
-
declares the Lord, then the Lord stretched out his hand, and
-
touched my mouth. And the Lord said, behold I have
-
put my words in your mouth. Whoa, glory to God.
-
He says, see I have appointed you this day over the next.
-
Nations and over the Kingdom's to pluck up to break down to
-
destroy to overthrow to build and to plant.
-
What in the world of Jeremiah done, he's done nothing.
-
But God's already said, this is who you are.
-
You are a name, you dominate Nations and kingdoms, right now,
-
son? You, when you pluck up, it
-
happened, when you break down. It's done when you talk about
-
what's going to be. Destroyed is glass.
-
Jeremiah and his ministry has nobody.
-
Converted nobody comes to the Lord but he pulls Nations down.
-
He raises them up and a word of God.
-
My gosh a young Statesman shows up on the scene as a diplomat
-
for the Lord no experience I guess so tired of hearing those
-
so they have no experience. Well man I hope they have
-
capacity. Because they have capacity, in
-
fact in the last days. It's going to be more important
-
for you to be tapped in your capacity.
-
Now, capacity ultimately, will give you experience.
-
That you formally did not have but it was capacity that opened
-
the door for experience. Experience does not open the
-
door for capacity. In fact, more people in the
-
world can't handle the capacity that they have based on their
-
experience. They may be the most experienced
-
in the room but they crumble under pressure, no come no
-
capacity. Why?
-
Because they're trying to do something without the Lord
-
Period. Amen.
-
Say I have capacity. Come on, say, I have capacity.
-
I mean, God is raising us up in these last days.
-
We're not going through all this teaching of decree, and declare,
-
all this stuff about walking and love understanding the love of
-
God, so that we can sit around here.
-
A few cute sermons, and then go back home.
-
Now, we're here to build our capacity so that when the Lord
-
says, I need you to go do this, I need you to go buy that.
-
I need you to go run this. I need this to be come here and
-
you're going to say I call it, I'll do it.
-
I declare it a take place. Quit your job.
-
Start this one. You're like fun.
-
I got to capacity. I've never done that kind of
-
business before. So I've never owned them all
-
before, Hallelujah. But I have capacity.
-
It's amazing. How many believers?
-
Who how's the Holy Ghost won't release their capacity?
-
I want to get ahead of myself. He goes on, is in the word of
-
the Lord came to me saying, what do you see Jeremiah, And I said,
-
I see a rod of an almond tree. Then the Lord said to me, you
-
have seen well for, I'm watching over my word to what to perform
-
it. Now, what's the Lord doing right
-
now? He's beginning to show him his
-
capacity, that's given him experience.
-
He's training him. How to hear and see the things
-
of God rightly, when you start tapping into capacity, God.
-
Himself gets into training. He begins to show you.
-
What do you see here? What do you see in here?
-
You see what I'm saying? You're correct.
-
And that's what this means. Now, I love this first
-
statement, because if you get this, then you'll jump out in
-
capacity because the first thing he says, what do you see?
-
I see a rod of an almond tree than the Lord said you have seen
-
well for, I am, what watching over my word to perform it.
-
While I could, we've learned love, always does his word,
-
always, he He keeps it. He always keeps it.
-
Then he goes on some more training said than the word Lord
-
came to me a second time saying, what do you see?
-
And I said, I see a Boiling Pot facing away from the north then
-
the Lord said to me out of the north now he begins to interpret
-
it. He said out of the North the
-
evil will break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.
-
For behold, I'm calling all the families of the kingdoms of the
-
north declares. The Lord and they will come and
-
they will set each one his throne at the entrance of the
-
Gates of Jerusalem and against all its walls around.
-
About and against all the cities of Judah, I will pronounce my
-
judgment on them concerning. All their wickedness, whereby
-
they have forsaken, me and have offered sacrifices to other gods
-
and worship. The Works of their own hands.
-
Then he goes on and says, now, gird up your loins and arise and
-
speak. Talk to them all, which I
-
command you do not be dismayed before them, or I will, or I
-
will dismay you before them. And that's it.
-
Don't you? Question your capacity?
-
He says, Now Behold I made you today, I made you, what?
-
I've made you. What?
-
Today I've made you today that day was when he was a youth Not
-
after he gained the experience. Now, that became the experience
-
In God's eyes, this is you now and he's not even spoken to of
-
nation. One hand even had a conversation
-
yet hand, even decreed nothing yet.
-
Haven't even said, thus, saith the Lord yet.
-
Hannah had the backlash of the people yet he said.
-
Today, I've made you today as a fortified City and a pillar of
-
fire and as walls of bronze against the whole and to the
-
kings of Judah to its priests to its prince's prince's to the
-
people of the land, they will fight against you.
-
But they what will not overcome you for I am with you to deliver
-
you declares the Lord. Now he lets on the they go fight
-
against you but they're never going to overcome you.
-
It's just not going to happen. Open, why?
-
Because you have capacity, you're a fortified City.
-
What's the Bible say about us? And this age, no weapon formed
-
against the church. What kind of capacity do you
-
have as a saint? What kind of capacity do you
-
have as a saint? What are you not doing for God?
-
Because you're too inexperienced?
-
Now don't get any experience. Confused with faithfulness.
-
Don't do that, don't get that confused with there.
-
Still some things, even in the New Covenant that the Lord says
-
this is don't put a novice in leadership position.
-
So don't get confused. When I'm saying inexperienced
-
what I'm talking about is you don't know, you don't have to
-
know how to do it. You just have to have the
-
ability to believe, God will do his word and that stretch shows
-
your capacity. Which means then you don't have
-
to be a leader. When you first get born a little
-
again because all you want to do is just follow the word of the
-
Lord anyway, and he won't violate his word to put you in a
-
pressure place that you're not able to Bear yet, but he will
-
train you, he will raise you and I'm not going to tell you.
-
It takes as long as other people.
-
I'm not saying that I'm not saying there's this very
-
specific time, that you're going to have to deal with, but I me
-
tell you, you will have to deal with time when you're not
-
dealing. Will say that again.
-
You will have to deal with time when you're not dealing with
-
yourself. God is not going to override the
-
things that he's telling you to do about you, so that it puts
-
you in the best position to handle the capacity that he
-
wants to give you even though you're not experienced.
-
God comes to Gideon Gideon's. A farmer.
-
Y'all remember this historical account of one of the people of
-
our nation? And he's down there frightened
-
because the midianite nation always took all their stuff
-
during Harvest Time and so he's trying to get him a little bit
-
before they come and the angel of the Lord shows up and says,
-
what starts talking capacity. Toxic empathic capacity.
-
You're a mighty man of Valor. Getting is like, you're in the
-
wrong place, right? He started speaking as
-
experience. No, you're in the wrong place.
-
No, I am the in the least, Fam. I'm in the least family of the
-
least tribe. You showed up at the wrong
-
place, sorry. So you can go No, he didn't
-
change his mind. I said, he didn't change his
-
mind and without being experienced Gideon went from a
-
farmer to a judge. He went from a farmer to a
-
judge. Now there were tests along the
-
way. Don't get me wrong but what was
-
he doing? He was showing him his capacity
-
that ultimately he became the judge of Israel.
-
This judge started out as a frightened man in a cellar.
-
But he discovered his capacity. How about the shepherd who
-
became a king? Right.
-
I mean we're working flocks. One day.
-
The next thing we're taking down Giants.
-
We're working for the king. We're being pursued by the king
-
but at the end of the day, we are the king.
-
We had more experience with sheep, then we have with people.
-
But he had capacity. The only experience David had in
-
hand-to-hand combat were not with humans.
-
In fact, King Saul lets him know of his inexperience.
-
Sir. This man has been a warrior
-
since his youth. And you're just a kid.
-
So what's he say? Well, I have this experience
-
since you're talking experience, I've killed a lion in the bear.
-
And it's John to be no different but he didn't tell them.
-
None of the people the troops when they were up on the ridge.
-
Listen to him taunt all he started doing was talking
-
capacity. I mean he's not wearing armor
-
he's never gone to one army training exercise he's not has
-
nothing all he has is a slingshot that he's experienced
-
with outside of that. He's had no hand to hand combat
-
with another human being, and he's going to say, who is this
-
uncircumcised Philistine? That would defy the armies of
-
God. Capacities talking see when you
-
start tapping into capacity, you'll say stuff in places that
-
everyone in the room knows you're not experienced, but God.
-
But God, but God we have got to quit being saved.
-
We're talking Children of the king, who has the Holy Ghost on
-
the inside of us, a cowering down to things that are going on
-
in the world because we don't think we're experienced enough.
-
When we're reading the word daily, when we're spending time
-
in the word, we need to be saying ourselves.
-
Thank you. Lord, give me Revelation of my
-
capacity because when you start to discover your purpose, that
-
book that was written about you before you ever got in your
-
mother's womb, then all of a sudden, you'll start saying,
-
okay, I can believe even though I can't see it, understand it or
-
whatever. Just give me your word, I'll do
-
it because I must have the capacity.
-
See. This is what Paul Paul did in
-
Philippians chapter 3, verse 12 through 14.
-
He says it this way. He says not that I have already
-
obtained it or have become already become perfect, but I
-
press on so that I may want lay hold of that which I was laid
-
hold of by Christ brother. And I do not regard myself as
-
having laid hold of it yet. But one thing I do forgetting,
-
what lies behind and Reaching Forward to what lies ahead?
-
I press on toward the goal of the Prize of the upward call of
-
God in Christ Jesus. He doesn't have the experience
-
to be an apostle, but he sure has a capacity.
-
And he realized I'm pressing, this is why he said in First
-
Corinthians 15 9 through 11. He says this, he says for I am
-
the least of the of the Apostles.
-
I'm not fit to be called an apostle when you look at my
-
experience because I persecuted the church I'm the least
-
qualified. That should have this title but
-
what she say. Next verse but bother, but bada,
-
but by the grace of God, I am. What I am.
-
Now, you may not have picked me, you might not have picked me
-
when you saw me, in fact, the first, when I first got into
-
Pentecost, when left the Baptist Church and went over to where
-
people were speaking in tongues, it got full of the Holy Ghost.
-
All right. And I got baptized in the
-
spirit, the Assembly of God Church.
-
The the Hut, the my pastor and his wife, her grandmother, super
-
encourager. He's encouraged me.
-
Always spoke nice to me, always was really encouraging only to
-
find out later. She had told her granddaughter
-
and her mother. I don't know to, he amount to
-
anything. So for her, she was just looking
-
at probably how skinny I was why Ari?
-
You know, by lack of knowledge of charismatic.
-
I mean, when I priest a priest like a Baptist, but I was full
-
of the Holy Ghost. Because that's what I had been
-
trained. That was my experience through
-
all the years of my upbringing. I was learning this whole new
-
truth about the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit and
-
thing. But I want confident to speak it
-
out, but I had capacity now she never told me when I found out
-
about it. I kind of laughed.
-
I thought, I wonder what she think about me now.
-
Because I didn't do it but by the grace of God, I am what I
-
am. And then when you get ahold of
-
that, that's so liberating. I mean you're no lunch and me
-
just tell you when it comes to the fivefold ministry it's
-
amazing. How ugly insecurity is on the
-
fivefold minister. You know why?
-
Because they don't have like Paul, but by the grace of God, I
-
am what I am. I mean, when you by the grace of
-
God know that you are what you are, then you'll never
-
intimidated by anyone that preaches before you or after
-
you. Whether they got more books than
-
you or not, whether they more popular caused by the grace of
-
God. I am what I am and I am what I
-
am because he said that I am what I am and you, I don't need
-
your approval. I don't need you or accolades.
-
I don't need you to tell me whether I'm good, bad or ugly.
-
I don't need any of that because I am what I am by the grace of
-
God. And I'm going to tap the grace.
-
I'm not trying to tap you. You don't make me better by
-
saying you're awesome the grace. Gives me the capacity now.
-
Sure. Does it feel good to encourage
-
people and tell them, they're awesome and tell them who they
-
are. Sure.
-
I have no problem with that. But I am, if you're what you're
-
saying about me, doesn't line up with what God said about me, I'm
-
not listening to you anyway. He said, but by the grace of
-
God, I am what I am and his grace towards me.
-
Did not prove what? Which means there are many of
-
saints and fivefold ministers that the grace is in vain, on
-
their life because Grace is not activated.
-
If you don't understand capacity, You'll never activate
-
Grace if you're looking for experience.
-
It's never going to happen. Hey, we're going to go on a
-
mission trip, want to go. Well, you know, we've never been
-
before and you know, we just don't have that much in the
-
account. So what we don't experience
-
we've had not experienced enough money to be able to do when
-
someone's like, yeah, I believe the Lord is telling me to go,
-
well, how much is it? Well, let's see if thousand
-
dollars, I don't have that, but that's all right.
-
God saying to go, if you have been on a mission trip know, you
-
got a passport know. I don't even have the
-
experience. I had to figure out one but I
-
can find out why because the grace to start happening because
-
the minute you set yourself towards I am going to do what
-
I'm going to do, because God is telling me to do it.
-
Then Grace gets activated and capacity starts to show up.
-
But if you're always waiting for everything to line up, wait for
-
it, all to come together. They're doing nothing.
-
There's pastors that are taking territory because they're
-
waiting for the money to come in there, waiting for the people to
-
come in. Instead of by the grace of God
-
getting out and just start expanding their capacity.
-
Well we can't do what you do because it's because you don't
-
like tapping into the grace, He said, I am what I am by the
-
grace of God in his grace towards me did not prove vain
-
but I what labored even more than all of them yet.
-
Not I But the grace of God within me, whether then it was
-
I, or they so we preach. And so you believe, meaning
-
whether you heard from the original, the 12, when I say
-
original 12, not talk about the one that betrayed but, you know,
-
the original 11 with the new added one, and then me whichever
-
ones you're hearing all we are doing is preaching but at the
-
end of the day, whether you grew by the words that came out of my
-
mouth or their mild is only because of the grace of God.
-
And when the grace of God, I worked it more than them.
-
Mall. And I'll be honest with you,
-
when I look at the class of 2000 that came out of Rhema, I feel
-
like I'm working at more than them all.
-
Now, there are some in this room that are 2000 and they're right
-
there with me cuz they're in this house.
-
But I feel like I'm worth and what am I working?
-
I'm working the grace. How do I work the Grace by
-
faith, Grace can't happen until Faith manifest, it's by grace,
-
through faith, that you're even to become a Believer.
-
Which means they have the ability to give an unmerited
-
favor, that you who deserve Eternal damnation or punishment,
-
or the prison system of the Kingdom, because of your
-
rebellion, in your sin, God in his mercy and his blood, forgave
-
you, and you reached out by faith, I said, I'll believe in
-
that payment. I believe Jesus died on the
-
cross, he rose from the grave. He poured out his blood for all
-
my wrongdoing. I call him, Lord of my life, I
-
receive him as my Lord and then the grace of God activates and
-
evicts that Spirit, man, that was in me dead.
-
Kicks it out of this skin suit, puts a brand new spirit on the
-
inside, that's in the likeness of Jesus Christ in Christ, that
-
spirit. And then the Holy Ghost moves in
-
and said, Anna, let me teach you your capacity.
-
How are we on this property capacity?
-
How are we having a private school capacity, how we having a
-
preschool capacity? How we having a university
-
capacity, how we helping the governor's initiative, a family
-
counts capacity. How are we helping?
-
You know, West August e capacity how we helping, you know, the
-
homeless capacity. Jaime, how are we going to the
-
capital capacity? I mean, how are we to work
-
capacity? Capacity capacity?
-
It's not experience. All Pastor.
-
Oh, I love to come and work of treasure a preschool but I'll
-
have any experience. Good.
-
But do you have capacity, does he have capacity and passion,
-
man, we can put you to work. Right.
-
That's the deal. Well, you know, I've never done
-
this. Who cares?
-
It's God. Talking step out.
-
Let's do something. It may be beyond your
-
experience, but it's not Beyond Your Capacity.
-
Come on. Are you hearing me?
-
Paul went on to say it this way, in Philippians 4:12 and 13.
-
He said, then he said, I know how to get along with humble
-
means and also know how to live in prosperity in any and every
-
circumstance. As I have learned the secret of
-
being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and
-
suffering need. Here it is.
-
Verse 13. I can do all things.
-
Through him, who strengthens me? Meaning I have capacity, which
-
means why did he go hungry? Because he left the place of
-
prosperity on a word and went out somewhere else.
-
Why is Anchor Faith Church have an anchor features Valdosta.
-
Why does it have a neck of a church Managua?
-
Why are we planting one in Leon Nicaragua?
-
Why we plant one and Port apply to Doug.
-
Dominican Republic. Why are we doing one in New
-
Delhi while we looking at Chicago Illinois?
-
Why we looking at Sheldon? Cut Connecticut.
-
Why? Because a capacity its capacity
-
Sure, I could have came to st. Augustine found five acres.
-
Build a building the acute sermons.
-
Have enough people to support me the rest of my life.
-
And look like the majority of all the other Church in the u.s.
-
100 or less. But I dared to step out on
-
capacity and not experience. Why am I over the whole state of
-
Florida for Rhema and the Caribbean?
-
Capacity. Pastor called me.
-
He said now Pastor Earle you don't have to come Tuesday, you
-
know I'll see you in Valdosta. Because yesterday, I went down
-
to Apopka cuz they had a living faith conference there.
-
I said pastor, you are not coming to my state and I'm not
-
going to see you. So, I changed my schedule.
-
I made room. Because I have capacity.
-
And it's not because I wasn't busy.
-
But my business is not ineffective.
-
It's purposeful. In fact, I've learned that every
-
new thing that begins to show up from a word of God.
-
It stretches me. And in the moment of stretching,
-
it is extremely challenging. And I realized in that challenge
-
moment, I am determining my capacity.
-
Because I'll never forget before we ever bought them all.
-
We were right here in this space, you know, down the
-
hallway, didn't didn't have the 10,000 yet.
-
Well, maybe we did have the other 10,000 square feet.
-
So when the 33,000 we had, I know what we were doing every
-
month to take care of that. I mean, it was easy.
-
I said, man, if we buy this, we fixing to go into some other
-
figures. I mean figures that I didn't
-
even know we're out there because you discover a new
-
stuff. I did not know that when the
-
insurance showed up, And started looking at our facility and saw
-
these massive power stations that we had Breakers.
-
That they were of a company when the ball was built in 1980 that
-
no longer exists and has been rated by the insurance industry,
-
as not a safe breaker. They've been prone to fail.
-
Guess what I was heading? Felled for 40 years?
-
Run just fine. And I sure can believe God, they
-
can run. But the insurance says, I'm not
-
going to ensure you unless you change them.
-
All seventeen thousand dollars later, Now, here's the thing.
-
That is something I'm dealing with.
-
So I go to the Lord Lord, what are you going to do?
-
So then the Lord goes to somebody else.
-
And says, hey, there's a need at your church.
-
I want you to take care of it. Now that individual I'm telling
-
you right now, probably said, okay, well 17 thousand dollars.
-
All right, y'all can breathe. But someone decided they had
-
capacity. And wrote the check.
-
Are you hearing me now? I'm not going to tell you.
-
That was easy. I'm not going to tell you that.
-
They would just sitting around in the bank.
-
I'm going to tell you, they got a word from God, so as we're
-
stretching, I'm stretchy there stretching, we're all sure.
-
Well, we're trying to find our capacity.
-
Now, we get to JCPenney. 17,000, that's nothing.
-
This is like 25, 30, maybe 40 thousand dollars that it works
-
but I can't keep it. Capacity, every time of eunuch.
-
Another tenant comes, guess what?
-
Another AC. Another one, I let me just say,
-
hallelujah, I mean we talking about a window unit people.
-
I mean, you enjoy this air condition you're in right now
-
because the one above you is about 15,000 dollars meant.
-
Well actually more not probably 20 just 20,000 that one alone.
-
I talked about the one over here.
-
Just say Amen. Anyway.
-
Right capacity. I mean, Reverend Randy, how many
-
electric bills do we have? At least a dozen.
-
Electric bills. Yeah, go ahead and say, Amen.
-
It's called capacity. But here's the thing, I didn't
-
know nothing about it. But the grace I said, but the
-
grace and we're doing what we do today because I'm tapping my
-
grace, you tap your great, come on.
-
I mean, what it would look like, if all of us just tap, our Grace
-
Because I didn't pull out of my pocket 17,000.
-
But somebody did that was connected here.
-
Because the vision compelled the grace on their lives to be
-
pulled out so that they could expand so that they could
-
Prosper so that they could enlarge their tents so that they
-
could have a bigger influence. Oh my gosh, man, can we get
-
this? And so Paul's like I can do all
-
things through Christ, who strengthens me because I'm not
-
just gonna say, wow, we're doing good and you know if I'd go over
-
there man that's just going to be another Faith fight.
-
That's just enough. You know what?
-
Capac just stretch me. I'm going off.
-
On the next one. Can I do everything?
-
No, because I'm not called to do everything, but I sure will get
-
on the path and ask We are County.
-
Commissioner has set a meeting with a property owner to meet
-
with me because they don't know what to do with their property
-
and the county. Commissioner says you need to
-
talk to Pastor Earle because he has vision.
-
Now, do I have time to sit around and talk to somebody
-
about their own property in land?
-
I could say no, but I could say, well, maybe I have capacity.
-
Now the end of the day I'm going to step on a road and if the
-
Lord says, just stay off that road that I say follow.
-
Because if I'm not if he tells me not to get on the road, then
-
that's no capacity there and I'm not trying to do something.
-
I'm not called to do. Are you hearing me capacity?
-
Because Paul recognized look when it's all said and done, I
-
can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
-
I can have capacity, I may not have the experience, but I can
-
do and I'm Gonna Leave You this verse here first.
-
John, 4:4, You said, you are from God.
-
Are you from God? Come on to you from God.
-
Come on, look at somebody's. I'm from God, man.
-
You need to be excited about that.
-
I'm from God, go ahead, look, June, a, I'm from God, go ahead
-
and tell your neighbor. I'm the child of a king say I'm
-
royalty. And Kings take Dominion Kings,
-
take territory, Kings, expand Kings want more capacity Kings,
-
don't want any King, who is just fortifying themselves and
-
hoping. No one comes in enacting very
-
kinglee because our father owns the planet.
-
And let me tell you God said, I'll give you another one here.
-
You get five, you get two. You get one that's based upon
-
your capacity. Now, your experience.
-
So the five takes off. Now, I'm not going to say he
-
didn't have some experience. But we know the two doesn't have
-
the experience the fob did. And if I was probably getting
-
something more in his capacity, in fact, I would say five to 11.
-
Had some of the had the same idea as the one, the one didn't
-
have any experience, that's why I buried it, but he had
-
capacity. And the one who had to could
-
have said, this is too much. This is too much, man.
-
I I can't handle that but he's like, well, we going to work it.
-
I'm going to stretch myself. I could do one.
-
I'm going to get the tea gave me too.
-
Now he's giving me to. Okay, what, okay, let me go work
-
the to the five could have said, man, I had three, but he's
-
giving me five now while five. Okay, let's see what I can do.
-
If I I mean, we assume that the father to our, like, we got this
-
in the woman's, like, we're got it.
-
I just got one, I'm no. Good.
-
I mean, again, somebody give you charge over one to manage one
-
store, then they say, oh, we're going to have you give you five.
-
That's called capacity. Pastor Mike, didn't you bit when
-
you dissed manager for Enterprise, right?
-
And then you did one store, right?
-
Did a store. Well, he had a district guy that
-
was over multiple stores and I bet him a pass.
-
After Marcus for that matter, y'all probably recruited to go
-
up more than the store you had. Sure why they wanted them to
-
have capacity. The only reason why they didn't
-
do it because they were called to Ministry.
-
And they're like, that's not my road, my roads in the church,
-
and that road opened up, and they're here today, and we're
-
stretching capacity. How many songs can we pull out a
-
pastor Marcus? We have not even begun to tap
-
all the capacity. I mean, in our whole creative
-
team for that matter, we've not even hardly tap.
-
The capacity how many men can Pastor Mike inspired to be Godly
-
men. We're not even tapping all the
-
capacity. But we got to tap it and we got
-
to tap him book writing because I'm tired of hearing Ed Cole.
-
I want to hear my cruising Right.
-
Because there's a whale down there that were drilling into
-
when we pulling up the capacity of this stuff.
-
Maybe I don't have any experience, whatever, just go
-
ahead and step out anyway. All right, you are from God
-
little children and have overcome them.
-
That's capacity. Why because greater is he, who
-
is in, then he who's, in the the world.
-
Old is waiting on your experience.
-
But God says, won't you step out on your capacity?
-
Let's no longer be quibbled by experience.
-
Let's tap capacity, let's begin to say but by the grace of God,
-
I am what I am. But by the grace of God, I am
-
what I am and everyday I tap that capacity.
