  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast

  2. from st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now, enjoy this message. So tonight I'm going to minister

  4. on leadership last year's, you remember?

  5. I said that the Lord started talking to me and says you need

  6. to speak on leadership to the body because the reality is,

  7. There's the wealth of the wicked to be laid up for the righteous

  8. and it's easy for the righteous to take over.

  9. Because as more lawlessness increases even lost, people are

  10. going to be looking for someone who keeps themselves together.

  11. Now, how do I know this? Joseph came to the captain of

  12. Potiphar's. Harem?

  13. Okay. And he was not a Godly Man at

  14. all, but he bought Joseph as a slave To start administrating

  15. things at his house. And the Bible says that he saw

  16. that, the Lord was with him. So much.

  17. So he was so impressed and know that he was above every other

  18. slave he had he put him over all this house.

  19. He didn't check in on anything. There was only one thing he told

  20. Joseph, he said don't touch my wife now for years, you know, I

  21. didn't think nothing about that. I just figured sure you wouldn't

  22. touch his wife but this is the Pharaohs.

  23. If you re one translation, this is Pharaoh's captain of his

  24. bodyguard of the vast body of his guard, which was of his hair

  25. on, which means he was a eunuch. And this is why I saying don't

  26. touch my wife. Are you hearing me?

  27. That's why his wife was like, Joseph, I have needs.

  28. Okay. So that was a huge Temptation.

  29. Actually, with that being said, when he gets thrown in prison,

  30. what does the Jailer see the warden?

  31. He says God's with this guy. Now this guy the jail or the

  32. warden is not born again. He's not follower of God, he's

  33. not in the Covenant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

  34. And he puts him over all the prison, obviously, when he comes

  35. up to Pharaoh, because of the dream, Farah says, we don't have

  36. anybody wiser and you you'll go ahead and do it and Pharaoh

  37. never changed the law of his land which was Hebrews were low.

  38. Some Egyptians wouldn't eat with a Hebrew and that Lon never

  39. changed which means the entirety of his tenure in.

  40. Egypt, as basically prime minister.

  41. The nation still discriminated against him.

  42. And Pharaoh did not change that law, why?

  43. Cause Pharaoh did not follow the god of Abraham, Isaac, and

  44. Jacob, and Joseph did not rebel against that King, because it

  45. doesn't matter whether you'll eat with me or not.

  46. I have a covenant with God because I don't need you to have

  47. to eat with me. I just need to eat with the

  48. Lord. Are you hearing me?

  49. But the Bible says that pharaohs soul.

  50. That God was with him. And so if we would apply the

  51. principles that are laid out throughout the Bible of how a

  52. godly man or woman responds in the Earth, by the power of the

  53. Holy Ghost. And what again, we are in a

  54. dispensation that God is in us with us and we are in his

  55. likeness, okay? If we will respond as as our

  56. history books communicate, then even the ungodly will promote

  57. you. It happened.

  58. So, you know, you're only, you know, there you could be so

  59. quick to a promotion right now. I mean there's so many things

  60. that could be in your direction if you just apply the principles

  61. and the Lord says, told me, he said now you need to train the

  62. church because not everybody's in the church.

  63. Which means when you're in business, if you're an employee,

  64. you can be a manager. And remember it's not based upon

  65. your experience. Based upon your what capacity,

  66. right? It's based upon your capacity.

  67. In fact, we could talk about Devin Hicks is Devon Hicks, even

  68. in here tonight? I don't see Devin, huh?

  69. He's in the bathroom. His wife told on him right

  70. there. She's the only one who can do

  71. that, but thank you for that information.

  72. Serena would you stand up Devin and Serena came to us from

  73. Kentucky. Okay, now, what was Devon doing

  74. in Kentucky? Anyway, what was his job?

  75. A heavy machine operator at a land filled, so, that means he

  76. drove a bulldozer and push trash around.

  77. He was a trash man. Okay, I mean let you see what

  78. I'm saying. How we have titles today, a

  79. heavy machine operator, At a waste management plant.

  80. He was a trash guy on a bulldozer pushing garbage.

  81. All right. Okay.

  82. And thank God for those positions.

  83. That doesn't mean that's a lo-- some position, because if we

  84. didn't have them, we look like India.

  85. And if you've never been to India the whole Nations, the

  86. trash field, well, not the whole nation but all of New Delhi,

  87. they say down, south is beautiful.

  88. Hadn't been down there. Myself and went to the beach and

  89. mu by one time, and I went out there to look at the water

  90. because I wanted to get in, but there was so much trash.

  91. Like, well, I saw it and that right.

  92. Pastor? Marcus, we went to Mumbai, he

  93. probably went to the bathroom to, okay?

  94. Just check it. Okay, good, I'm glad you're

  95. here. So, Dividend Serino is hearing

  96. the word that Devin's brother Pastor Brandon and Pastor April

  97. were here and since they started coming to the church and they

  98. were listening and eventually they're like we should move

  99. because of the church then have a job.

  100. Then have another heavy machine operator at a Waste Management

  101. Field. Position available?

  102. No, he came and became a factory worker, basically a production

  103. guy at Carlisle. He graduated from high school,

  104. correct? Okay.

  105. Just checking. All right.

  106. Graduated from high school and work.

  107. Probably third shift first. Is that what he did first?

  108. Yeah, third shift. so, he's just a employee but because he came

  109. because the Lord said go because of the church, Today Beyond his

  110. experience, and he still does not have a college.

  111. Degree, which the position he holds requires it.

  112. He is the plant manager of all of Carlisle.

  113. Why is that? Because when you do the

  114. principles of the word, it will make room for you.

  115. So what I'm going to minister on tonight is not just for in the

  116. church because leadership is everywhere.

  117. You know, the ability to oversee situations business, whatever

  118. people is available for every one of us.

  119. So it doesn't really matter. What batters is that we do the

  120. principles wherever we're at and it gives us opportunity.

  121. I could tell you another one that just got promoted into

  122. management. And by All rights, should not be

  123. in that management position, but is moving in out at Grumman.

  124. In our church. Hallelujah.

  125. Are you hearing me? So again, when we start applying

  126. these, I mean honestly people should come here and it doesn't

  127. matter how you come here. Because if you apply then

  128. ultimately God's like, I need your influence over people's

  129. lives. I need how you respond to

  130. situations to have the influence.

  131. Are you hearing me? I mean, I've been into Longhorn

  132. multiple times where Leo works over, you know, the cooks there

  133. during the week, and the manager speak of him highly all the

  134. time, all that his influence, even though he doesn't hold the

  135. managing position. He has that kind of influence.

  136. He now, he has tenure, don't get me wrong, he's 27 years but

  137. 2627, right, 25, 25 years but yet they could just say you're

  138. the cook. But they don't.

  139. Because something on the inside is taking place.

  140. Amen. Now, let me say it this way,

  141. just because your believer doesn't mean you are operating

  142. in it. Okay, so don't think you're the

  143. best person in the room just because you're a Believer now.

  144. You are the best person in the room in the context of your

  145. spiritual life and walk with God, you have that capacity.

  146. But you have to bring application.

  147. Amen. So today I want to minister

  148. something that I've done in leadership before I think I've

  149. done it here in the church at one point, I cannot tell you

  150. what year it was. I can tell you when I did it to

  151. our ministry coordinating team and that was in 2012 11 years

  152. ago. I said 11 years ago.

  153. Okay. But there's always new nuggets

  154. and so we're going to communicate this.

  155. I want to talk about a healthy environment.

  156. We're going to create a healthy environment at your workplace.

  157. So all through all types of people in a workplace are listed

  158. in this passage of scripture, wherever you are find yourself,

  159. and then operate accordingly. Amen.

  160. Turn over to Exodus chapter 18. Exodus chapter 18 starting in

Exodus 18 chapter mention Exodus 18 chapter mention

  161. verse 13. It says, and it came about on

  162. the next day that Moses set to judge the people and the people

  163. stood about Moses from the morning until Evening.

  164. Now when Moses says father-in-law saw all that he

  165. was doing from the, for the people, he said, what is this

  166. thing you are doing for the people?

  167. Why do you alone? Sit as judge and all the people

  168. stand around you from morning until evening, Moses said to his

  169. father-in-law because the people come to me to inquire of God,

  170. when they have a dispute, it comes to me.

  171. I judge between a man and his neighbor and make known the

  172. statutes of God and his law, Moses father-in-law said to him

  173. the things. That you are doing is not good.

  174. Now, it's not what he's doing. That's not good.

  175. I mean the information that they're going to God, they're

  176. trying to find out what God's answer concerning the issue.

  177. That's not what he's saying. He's saying how you're doing, it

  178. is not good. All right, he said, you will

  179. surely what you're going to wear out both yourself.

  180. And these people who are with you, for the task is too heavy

  181. for you. You cannot do it.

  182. Alone, say alone. Now, listen to me, I will give

  183. you counsel and God be with you. You be the people's

  184. representative before God, and you bring the disputes to God,

  185. then teach them the statues and the law and make known to them

  186. the way in which they are to walk.

  187. And the work, they are to do. Furthermore, you shall select

  188. out of the people. Able men who fear God, men of

  189. Truth, those who hate dishonest gain and you.

  190. Place these over, as Leaders of thousands of hundreds of 50s,

  191. and of tens, let them judge the people at all times and let them

  192. be and let it be that every major dispute, they bring to

  193. you. But every minor dispute, they

  194. themselves will judge. So it will be easier for you.

  195. And they will bear the burden with you if you do this thing

  196. and God, so commands you, then you will be able to endure.

  197. And all these people also will go on the their place in peace.

  198. So Moses listen to us, father-in-law and did all that.

  199. He had said, Moses chose able men out of all of Israel and

  200. made them heads over over, the people leaders of thousands of

  201. hundreds of 50s. And of tens, they judge the

  202. people at all times, the difficult disputes, they would

  203. bring to Moses. But every minor dispute, they

  204. themselves would judge then Moses made his father-in-law A

  205. Farewell and he went His way into his own land.

  206. Amen. When I originally through this

  207. out as a leadership teaching, I called it, the 70 principle,

  208. because Moses, obviously a portion of Moses has anointing

  209. went on to 70 other leaders, okay?

  210. And they were there to help him administrate things that were

  211. going on within the nation Scholars.

  212. Say, okay, that, you know, Moses had anywhere from a million to 3

  213. million Israelites. Okay, A lot of times, you know,

  214. because they're called a congregation in a lot of the

  215. translations. So it could be a church of three

  216. million people and the pastor or overseer Called Moses is taking

  217. care of it, all by himself. That's a lot of people, right?

  218. Okay, so with that being said, his father, in law, gives him

  219. some advice that obviously is of the Lord and Moses is going to

  220. apply that. So, with that being said, here's

  221. a few points that we can pull out, and I'll kind of jump back

  222. and forth in scripture to T. All right?

  223. If I teach tonight, y'all find, if I don't pop veins all the

  224. time, right? Okay.

  225. I mean, when's my vein popping Tom comes, we'll pop it, when it

  226. doesn't, then we don't Right? Okay, the first thing that we

  227. learn again, Moses. Let's put it this way.

  228. Moses is the owner of a Company CEO.

  229. Okay. I mean he is the final say of

  230. the organization, right? When I say that on earth, now

  231. obviously God is, but on Earth, okay?

  232. The 70 that are able men that the are picked are like managers

  233. district managers, are you hearing me?

  234. They don't own the company, you know, they're not, you know, the

  235. principal of the school, they may be an Administration they

  236. may be, or could be principles in or not the school board or

  237. you hear what I'm saying. So these are the layers.

  238. These are the ones that are in management type positions.

  239. There are still people under them.

  240. Obviously, the one that owns it or is over whatever the

  241. organization is, whether it's a non-profit, whether it's a

  242. business, whether it's, you know, the Owner of a football

  243. team. Okay, see how I'm trying to get

  244. us all together. If you are a governor in a over

  245. a state, okay? Then you have people underneath

  246. you that are in managerial positions.

  247. All right. Maybe you're here today and

  248. you're a manager. You're over people, you're over

  249. things, then that you're in that layer, okay?

  250. And we're going to be talking about each one, then you have

  251. the ones that are still just in the group because the

  252. leadership. It was over what thousands

  253. hundreds 50s and tens. Well the thousands hundreds 50s

  254. and Tents are the employees. These are people who have

  255. responsibilities with the environment because again, we're

  256. trying to create a healthy environment, no matter where

  257. we're at. And if you are just an employee,

  258. there's a way you can respond to help create peace.

  259. Right. Okay.

  260. So but there's also embedded how you come out of employee to

  261. management positions. All right, so Moses then is the

  262. what over it? So the first thing we learn is

  263. this, is that The Keeper of the vision.

  264. That's the one who has the vision of the whatever

  265. organization were over, is not to do it alone.

  266. So if you own a business and you're trying to do it alone,

  267. You're going to be wore out but here's the warning.

  268. Not only will you get wore out. You'll wear the ones out that

  269. are under you. Now, let me tell you what it

  270. sounds like to an owner when they are trying to do it all

  271. themselves. This is what it sounds like.

  272. I can't get nobody to do nothing, right?

  273. Nobody listen to me. No, you're doing it all by

  274. yourself, because they're getting worn out too.

  275. Because the minute you do it by yourself and start getting worn

  276. out, you will wear them out. You don't get worn out and

  277. they're fun. Right?

  278. So this helps you if you're somewhere and it seems like your

  279. manager is just and you're like, I'm so worn out, guess what?

  280. It could be that they're worn out because they're trying to do

  281. too much and maybe you need to say, what can I do to help you?

  282. Because we're trying to develop a healthy environment you know

  283. what? They don't deserve to be helped.

  284. They're so mean they're so okay. What's that mean?

  285. The Bible tells us it's the kindness of God that leads

  286. people to repentance. So go ahead and be kind anyway.

  287. I mean you're not endorsing their sin, you're not endorsing,

  288. what they're doing, you're just trying to be kind and help the

  289. organization at the end of the day.

  290. What can I do to help you? Even if that means, you do it,

  291. and give them the credit because you can do something, let them

  292. have the credit so that when the owner shows up said, this is the

  293. greatest thing ever in your life.

  294. That was my idea. But they're taking credit for

  295. you, don't have to say I should be getting this.

  296. They should give me that bonus. They should you work for the

  297. Lord? How in the world can you get

  298. robbed from The Lord knows what's yours.

  299. I mean this ain't this isn't competition when you're working

  300. unto the Lord, it doesn't matter who gets credit cause ultimately

  301. God will give you credit. It will manifest period.

  302. I can't tell you a timeframe but I'm just telling you to happen.

  303. At the end of the day, it will happen because God always

  304. rewards the righteous So if you're over something, you have

  305. to find yourself instilling that Vision into others to help and

  306. let them thrive in that capacity.

  307. Let them thrive. In fact, you should Champion

  308. when they're thriving, because ultimately, it makes all of us

  309. better. All of us better if we do not

  310. and we try to do it alone. I meant I talked with many

  311. pastors myself and, you know, they have congregations vary in

  312. size of less than 100, do you know, maybe three or four

  313. hundred and their staff is still, you know, kind of small

  314. and they're doing a lot and are, man, I'm doing everything.

  315. I'm doing everything. Well, my question is, why are

  316. you doing it alone? Why are you wearing yourself

  317. out? And the people In fact, I'm

  318. learning is because this reminds me this passage reminds me when

  319. I hear a minister say well you know what, we just don't want to

  320. go from project project so we don't want to wear the people

  321. out. No, the only reason the people

  322. are being worn out is because you're trying to do it yourself

  323. in the projects. And when you're worn out,

  324. they'll be worn out. Are you hear me?

  325. Okay? So, carrying the load along,

  326. will wear out the leader and all who follow, if God is giving you

  327. any idea as an overseer, it already includes people. .

  328. It already includes people. Now, the only challenge is

  329. getting people to surround you that have the same passion for

  330. what the vision is as you do. And when it is, then you're

  331. never intimidated. You know, I was talking with our

  332. staff Erich, Brady. He read a book recently, and I

  333. was saying, now, when you finish this book, I said, you'll be an

  334. identified leadership really easy because it's about King,

  335. David King Saul, and King Absalom.

  336. And I said, man, when you understand How that functions

  337. every time you get around someone you'll say um, and

  338. that's King Saul. It's identify ball.

  339. That's an absolute. Very identifiable.

  340. Oh, there's King David. You can see it because of how

  341. they function around people instead of Saul rejoicing.

  342. When it was said Saul kills his thousands and David his ten

  343. thousand and say, praise God, he killed his 10,000 because that

  344. means 11,000 of our enemies have been destroyed and thank God for

  345. Israel. God bless Israel.

  346. But what did he do? That boy is going to try to take

  347. my kingdom. He's outperforming working.

  348. Are you hearing me? Hallelujah. so, The Keeper of

  349. the vision is to teach, To make known the way to walk and assign

  350. the job descriptions. Again, the Bible says, my people

  351. perish due to lack of knowledge. Anytime, if you're overseeing an

  352. area, if you are, not clearly communicating what's expected

  353. written. Written.

  354. Then when your employees go crazy.

  355. It's your fault. Because you gave them no

  356. restraint. You didn't give them a boundary,

  357. are you hearing me, you're not communicating exactly where the

  358. their Lane is and where they can thrive?

  359. If you don't do that. And then they'll get over in

  360. areas that they aren't supposed to be in.

  361. They can really mess some things up, but it's your responsive

  362. Jethro told he said, I listened instead of you doing it all, you

  363. teach the people What God Says, do the trainee.

  364. Then when you've done the training, the ones that you have

  365. appointed as Leaders, they'll take what you've learned and re

  366. communicate that my wife and I went out to eat the other day

  367. and the waiter was like, now tonight, you know, tonight on

  368. the Menu. I have what he didn't have.

  369. This ain't his restaurant. But he talks like he has

  370. ownership and you want to talk like you have ownership.

  371. The reason why anchor of a church can be better is not

  372. because I can articulate the vision you can.

  373. It's not because I can tell people when I got here you can.

  374. It's not because I can tell people you know what God's done

  375. is because you can is because you know the history of this

  376. place, you know, the vision of this place you know the passion

  377. of this place and you talk about it as if you were the one. yet,

  378. even though, you know, you're not the Keeper of the vision but

  379. you helped keep it. Are you hearing me really

  380. important? So we are to instruct

  381. communicate now obviously that is not just in the overall

  382. leadership role that is also in the manager role because when he

  383. communicated the job description, these guys and said

  384. I listen these minor disputes you're going to do well he had

  385. to Define What a minor dispute was because if he didn't Define

  386. What a minor dispute was, how would they know what a major one

  387. is? How are you gonna know?

  388. I know with our pastoral staff. I know, with our, you know,

  389. Ministry staff. I know with our ministry

  390. coordinators, who by All rights are paid.

  391. We let them know, know, people are going to speak to you, but

  392. when these conversations come, you are to point them in this

  393. direction or alter care. How many are on the altar care

  394. team. Okay, you know that on the altar

  395. care There are three things you're dealing with down here.

  396. Being born again, being baptized in the Holy Ghost are

  397. rededication, you are not counseling them about their

  398. marriages that are falling apart.

  399. Because someone who's rededicate their life may be coming because

  400. my marriage is falling apart. My kids are driving me crazy and

  401. I don't know what to do. So what can they do?

  402. They'll come down there broken, they want God to change their

  403. situation. Their like, I need to rededicate

  404. my life to God. I need God's, you know, power

  405. and, you know, that's why they're here for.

  406. But then they begin to divulge other and we said we'd give them

  407. instruction. That's not your lane.

  408. You say, now you need to set up a meeting with our pastoral

  409. layer and they will not get their number and your counseling

  410. them on the side. Are you hearing me?

  411. And again it's freedom because it allows you to know your lane

  412. know what the anointing is therefore in the Altar and what?

  413. It's not. Hallelujah.

  414. You know, the reason why the world is like it is is because

  415. everyone has the Lucifer mindset.

  416. Now you know what the Lucifer mine said is right?

  417. I'm going to be to God, I'm taking it over, I want my thrown

  418. up there and no matter where you're at where the employee

  419. manager doesn't matter because even if your CEO I'm gonna take

  420. over the other businesses. The all the while you're never

  421. satisfied with your seat. Because the only seat that the

  422. devil satisfied. Is gods.

  423. Amen, political people that are in the realm of politics.

  424. This it they're not satisfied to be over a country.

  425. Why is the leaders in China and Iran and Russia meeting with

  426. other nations because someone's trying to develop a different

  427. Global dominance. Those Nations hate it.

  428. When it is said that, the u.s. president is the power.

  429. That office holds the greatest power hate that.

  430. This is why they trying to dismantle the dollar.

  431. I mean it's just but it is a Lucifer mentality.

  432. I want my throne above and it comes in the workplace.

  433. This is why it's easy for you. When you know this as Believers

  434. is that I don't have to try to get to the top.

  435. In fact I should even have an ambition to get to the top.

  436. My only Ambassador in is discern and ambition is to serve God in

  437. any capacity. Let him do the promotion.

  438. Then you won't be upset when you're over.

  439. Look for one. Because God never overlooks you.

  440. All right, just say Amen. Anyway so what becomes extremely

  441. easy? Now why do I say this?

  442. Because you have what the world doesn't have patience.

  443. It's a fruit of the spirit that when it passes You by and it was

  444. all your ideas and you should be having that Ray's right now you

  445. can eat patients and say my God will vindicate me, my God will

  446. do whatever you need because at the end of the day you want to

  447. demonstrate Eight Kingdom leadership and not at like, I

  448. got to be the guy Jesus Christ. I've said this, I'm going to

  449. repeat it. There is a chain of command in

  450. the godhead, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the

  451. Holy Spirit. Jesus said, would only do what

  452. Jesus tells him. Jesus said, I only do what the

  453. father says for all eternity. Jesus has always been in the

  454. second seat so to Beak. He's at the right hand of the

  455. father, he has never wanted to take the throne, so the idea of

  456. I want to be over, does not come from Jesus.

  457. It comes from the Devil. Now, there's nothing wrong with

  458. aspiring. There's nothing wrong with

  459. aspiring, there's nothing wrong with you.

  460. Knowing that there's a capacity in you greater than what you

  461. have. And there's a responsibility to

  462. that, but at the end of the day, I'm not going after I just know

  463. it's within me. Should the Lord deploy it?

  464. Should the Lord to the Lord deploy it?

  465. Are you hearing me again? Obadiah?

  466. Minor Prophet, not a major profit.

  467. Minor Prophet one book. One chapter.

  468. Most people in the Christian world today couldn't handle.

  469. That God would only write one chapter about your life.

  470. And the reason why is it's not because It's because you still

  471. have old mentality from your old, your other father.

  472. You want to be better than everyone else.

  473. Well, how can you be better? Seriously, how can you be better

  474. when God loves us all? And he wants you to be what he's

  475. created you to be? I mean, there's no issue with.

  476. I mean I play music myself. I'm a musician.

  477. Although I don't give myself to that and if I did, I would be

  478. better. But that skill, which is

  479. untapped is nothing compared to what's going on.

  480. And I'm not gel, I'm like, praise God man.

  481. And then you get around some people, you know, someone could

  482. get up and go well and they know the note and start a whole thing

  483. and they just make this stuff up as they go in your life.

  484. Wow. They're just like oozing with a

  485. ability. But why would you be jealous

  486. when God created them? That way.

  487. It serves its function and you do your part.

  488. They do their part in God's. Well, pleased with us all amen.

  489. Remember God told the five Talent, man.

  490. And the two Talent, man. Well done. he didn't say, well,

  491. you're not as good as the five, but I'm glad you got to Didn't

  492. say that. Now he gave it based upon their

  493. ability. So the two new I really can't

  494. handle five and thank God he didn't give me five.

  495. Because God knew the capacity of what he can handle.

  496. See, we want to try to handle capacities.

  497. We can't have. And then we fall apart.

  498. We blame God, and other people. And then we act like the rest of

  499. the world Grumble and complain. No just stay in what definitely

  500. causes the anointing to flow. And if you do that, you'll be

  501. well pleased, amen? So you got to stay within the

  502. Judgment boundaries, if you're an employee stay within the

  503. boundaries, don't try to be a manager.

  504. But if they ask you, then give them an answer, you know, how

  505. many times we you people, you know, y'all know this, you know,

  506. the manager comes in. We got this project and they're

  507. asking all here, what do you think?

  508. Well God may give you the idea that needs to be done and it's

  509. not the manager getting, it's, you Now they may take note and

  510. through these god-given ideas because you hear the Holy Ghost

  511. eventually gets you promoted could be absolutely but you're

  512. not looking for it. You're just like I'm here to

  513. help the company where I'm at At the end of the day, I mean, sure

  514. everyone likes to have more money.

  515. I get that, but you just may spend more that mean you're more

  516. responsible because you have more.

  517. Are you hearing me? I mean, some promotions have

  518. killed people. Because it's pulled them out of

  519. church. It would have been better for

  520. them, not to have the promotion in The Prestige.

  521. All right. Amen.

  522. All right, the next thing we see then there are situations then

  523. based upon this that you are not to handle again.

  524. When Moses says, okay here are my guys, these are the things I

  525. want you to handle than that. Immediately means there are

  526. things. You should not handle.

  527. And instead of taking offense at that.

  528. Have it as Liberty. Well, praise the Lord.

  529. I'll have to deal with that amen.

  530. Yeah in the words of myself and Pastor Hagen, that's your

  531. problem. Not my problem.

  532. Amen. I've been actually saying that a

  533. lot lately situation. I'm like, that's their problem.

  534. Not my problem. I mean I'm not getting in their

  535. Lane if they don't want to deal with it, then they don't want to

  536. deal with it. If the Lord can't make them, I

  537. sure can't make them because I've already empowered them

  538. through the word to be different and not handle it the way they

  539. are. Amen, can pray for everybody?

  540. Do a lot of praying. Do a lot of praying that they'll

  541. just do the word because I know this if you just do the word

  542. you'll win, it'll be successful. It's amazing.

  543. All right. So in recap, The Keeper of the

  544. vision, shouldn't do it alone. They should not carry the load

  545. by themselves because if they do, it will wear them out and

  546. all who keep. Now, here's the thing, the

  547. minute you begin to release. Responsibility.

  548. Then you've got to allow them. The ability to succeed or fail.

  549. Failure of something you've delegated should not make you

  550. mad. It should become a teaching

  551. tool. Now, that doesn't mean things,

  552. can't anger. You righteously, I'm not saying

  553. that. I'm not saying if you own

  554. something, you told somebody something they're doing it wrong

  555. and they keep doing it wrong, keep doing it wrong.

  556. You're like yeah, I'm really mad about this.

  557. You can have a righteous anger say if we do this again, you're

  558. going to have to be gone. I could I have no problem with

  559. that but but you're always looking at it really from a

  560. opportunity perspective, not you're an idiot perspective.

  561. I just can't believe this my gosh, I can't.

  562. I mean The world does that the world belittles puts us down,

  563. beats us down. Makes us feel like we're

  564. nothing. And if you're actually over

  565. something and you're doing that to someone, you're no different

  566. than the world. Now I can be upset with somebody

  567. and be upset with a decision they made or how they handle

  568. something. But at the end of the day, we're

  569. going to talk about how we're going to correct it and then it

  570. the meetings unless they walk out on me.

  571. The meeting will end your awesome, and you got this.

  572. You want to know how my mean? He's usually are you're awesome.

  573. Here's the problem. We can fix it.

  574. You're awesome in a nutshell. Right, very rarely is I can't

  575. believe and we started him with the problem always highlight

  576. something that but that's me, I'm highlighting, you know what?

  577. You know what you've done so far has been really amazing. but, So

  578. all you didn't mean it really would, then Jesus didn't mean

  579. Revelation when he went to the churches.

  580. He says, now you guys have done this, it's been pretty amazing,

  581. but I have this one thing against you Now, do you think he

  582. didn't me the good stuff? He said up front, he said it's

  583. of the problem I have. This is how you can correct it.

  584. If you correct it great. If you don't, you're fired

  585. basically a movie candle, right? The Lord will fire.

  586. You Are you hear me? The Lord's, not obligated to

  587. keep you on the payroll? I must say that again, the Lord

  588. is not obligated to keep you on the payroll.

  589. I mean he said he's told some of his you Wicked, what he thought

  590. of one with the one talent that was on his payroll, you lazy?

  591. Wicked servant. You're fired.

  592. Just say, Amen. Anyway, all right.

  593. So, when we do our job descriptions were given

  594. boundaries of what to do and what not to do, all right?

  595. The judgments then that people are assigned the areas that

  596. people can function in, whether if you're an employee, they're

  597. giving you a boundary to function in and then they're

  598. training, you through, whatever, you know, Corporation or

  599. organization, you work for how you are to handle those

  600. situations. They are to train, you teach

  601. you. Now, again, sometimes people are

  602. Doing good training. I get it.

  603. That's where you have to rely on the Holy Ghost.

  604. That's where you do some self-taught stuff.

  605. But again, you're being self-taught not to take over the

  606. company. But to do the position that

  607. they've given you the best period, I like a testimony.

  608. Pastor Hagen gives just gave it recently that back in the day

  609. when he was in Texas, he worked on a particular line.

  610. I think it was at the railroad and they would bring boxcars in,

  611. they had to unload them and send them.

  612. And one particular manager was like, Hey, can you do this in

  613. the guy was like, No And he said, hey, can you do this?

  614. And it was like, no, can you do this and said, Hagen can you do

  615. it? He said, yes, sir.

  616. I can do it and he said, all right, you be here tomorrow and

  617. you can do that. And the employer, you his fellow

  618. employee says, you've never done that before.

  619. You don't know nothing. He says well you know number one

  620. I've been around it. I've watched it a little bit so

  621. I'm familiar. He said but you know there was a

  622. library and I can go read. Now they have Google back then

  623. so we had to go Library. I mean, we have so many YouTube

  624. videos right now. Now, I'm not telling you that if

  625. you're, you know, Hospital, receptionist, you know, check

  626. and patients in and the doctor says we got open, heart surgeon

  627. Mark, can you do this? Yeah, I'm not saying do that.

  628. I want you, YouTube tonight will be fine.

  629. I don't think they're going to let you in any way.

  630. And we're probably not at risk at that, although, if I was on a

  631. desert island, and I needed you to do something, and the Lord

  632. said, And we had access to YouTube video, we'll watch it

  633. together, because we'll do what's necessary to survive.

  634. Just don't eat me when I go under.

  635. All right. Amen.

  636. So who is God looking for though?

  637. In when it comes to oversight? Exodus clearly lines out who it

  638. is that God's looking for. In verse 21, it says this, they

  639. need to be able men, and when I say men, it can be women, okay?

  640. In this context in today, so you got to be able Right now, Abel

  641. doesn't mean experienced. It does mean capacity.

  642. You got to be able, right? You need to be at a hat.

  643. Be at a know that you're going to have to handle those

  644. pressures and have that responsibility, all right.

  645. The second thing is you need to fear God.

  646. You know in all of us can fear God, I do not want to do

  647. anything that would displease my father.

  648. I want to do it with Integrity. I want to do it up, right.

  649. That's how I want to function. Now, listen you could be doing

  650. something unaware. But when things get brought to

  651. your attention, then you got to be like, okay I need to make an

  652. adjustment and even the Lord will give you Mercy in a season

  653. to transition. if you have all intentions to get it right, but

  654. if you're always trying to stay under the radar, then you're not

  655. actually being honest. Because he talks about dishonest

  656. gain, that means doing something, not honest to gain

  657. something. So Integrity has to be a part of

  658. and no matter where we're at, whether we own a company,

  659. whether we manage something or where employee somewhere, we can

  660. be honest people, Honesty means I'm not going to do it.

  661. Dishonorable, the manager asked me to do this to cheat on the

  662. numbers. I'm not doing it, even if it

  663. means. They fire me.

  664. There's another job because this paycheck doesn't own me.

  665. My father does. And if you will stand for that,

  666. instead of say, but how am I going to take care of my kids?

  667. If I don't do this, I'll lose my job and that's the devil giving

  668. you a spirit of fear. But you don't fear God.

  669. Because if you're willing to compromise your integrity, which

  670. then becomes blackmail, later on Yeah.

  671. You've got to be honest enough saying I'm not going to do it

  672. with a I'm a it's going to cost you you know.

  673. It's going to promote me now I you may never see it, but I'm

  674. not here to impress you because I don't have to show off to you

  675. but my Lord knows. Amen.

  676. At the end of the day was Joseph Brothers, not honest in

  677. business, And dad said, good go, see how they're doing son

  678. because you've already brought me reports that they've not been

  679. honest. And what did the brothers do for

  680. his honesty? So, neem as a slave pocketed,

  681. the money. And thought they were done with

  682. it. Are you hearing me but a decade

  683. later our little more, they're hungry, and Joseph is eating in

  684. a palace. They don't know it, but he is

  685. and then they show up to get food from their brother.

  686. Now, how do I know the brother ain't like I'll show them who I

  687. am, because the minute he got promoted to prime minister and

  688. is amassing. All this wealth through the

  689. seven years of plenty. He never went to pharaoh and

  690. says, you know, my dad is in Canaan and he doesn't know where

  691. I'm at. And I got some brothers there,

  692. man. I can, I can I if I found favor

  693. with, can I go and just tell him I'm alive.

  694. Why didn't you visit them? I'll tell you why, because the

  695. dream said, they'd come to him and bow down, he knew if I go

  696. back where they're at, they will never bow to me.

  697. That I don't have authority there.

  698. This is where the authority is. So, you know, I'll just wait

  699. till they show up and they said, and they and they did They sure

  700. did. You know what the problem is,

  701. that we don't have what the father has.

  702. It's called long-suffering Because we want our promotion

  703. now. We want to reach the Pinnacle

  704. before everyone else. We want to be the best young.

  705. But what if the Lord wants you to hit your Peak at 86?

  706. And that Peak is a global company that is on every major

  707. continent that now has the resource to supply widows and

  708. orphans so much money that you're building them and all

  709. these nations. But because you wanted it at 25

  710. or at 33, you compromise and though you have that beautiful

  711. house on two or three private islands, You never became what

  712. God wanted you to be. And when you stand before the

  713. Lord, all of it burns up. Just say, Amen.

  714. Anyway, see because the world is always jockeying for the power.

  715. We have the power. I said we have the power where

  716. the children of the king and Children of the King still lead

  717. by serving. We don't lead by Leading, we

  718. lead by serving. We're always trying to help

  719. somebody else find their potential.

  720. Amen. Oh, praise the Lord.

  721. So the qualifications for the position, then were men of men

  722. who fear God men of Truth. And haters of dishonest gain,

  723. aren't you? Glad you're a person of Truth

  724. can't be a person of Lies. Can be personal I if you if you

  725. sell a product, don't exaggerate it.

  726. Be honest. Don't exaggerate it.

  727. Don't lie about it. To line your pocket.

  728. Good. All right.

  729. Well, I won't get a bonus, I want, you know, they're

  730. pressuring me to sell this and I don't care.

  731. Be honest. If you're a car salesman,

  732. sometimes it's better for you to say, you don't need this car.

  733. I mean, we can get it at, get you in it today, but it is going

  734. to Max your budget and honestly it's just not worth it.

  735. Yeah, but then I can't feed my family.

  736. Again, who are you working for? Because God can send the next

  737. person that's going to buy a fleet of trucks.

  738. That pays cash. Because you were honest with the

  739. one that really just doesn't need that new shiny car that's

  740. really not their problem. They have other issues, and they

  741. think this new car is going to solve it.

  742. And if they're like, no, I'll go to someone else in your other

  743. guy sells it. At least you were honest.

  744. He liked Lord, you know, I didn't try to put them into

  745. something that would hurt them. All right.

  746. So we want to be men of fear or people of fear, who fear God,

  747. people who are of the truth and they we hate dishonest gain.

  748. You understand, oversight, numbers May Vary, do not get

  749. upset if somebody has is bigger than you.

  750. I mean, that's insecurity talking.

  751. Insecurity. I always know an insecure

  752. pastor. because they asked me, how many people are in my

  753. church, Always no. What does that matter?

  754. I never ask how many are in there because I'm not

  755. intimidated with any size. Now there are some that are

  756. larger that have some systems that I totally could learn from

  757. because the reality is, they're managing things at a scale

  758. larger than I am. And there's some experience now

  759. that they have that my capacity may not have taken me to yet.

  760. But just because someone has a great system in more people

  761. doesn't mean he's actually producing Godly God-fearing

  762. people. They come to us is not because

  763. we have experience as well as we're capable because we have an

  764. anointing. Because I know that there's a

  765. day coming, that they're coming and they're not going to say,

  766. are you looking to bother going to say the Lord told us to get I

  767. don't we're going to give it to you because the wealth of the

  768. wicked is laid up for the righteous.

  769. Why would you meet with somebody?

  770. You can't. Because the wealth of the wicked

  771. is laid up for the righteous. He could be, they got in our

  772. presence and that was enough for them to say, you know what, and

  773. they could come back and say, you know, I remember our meeting

  774. and I'm in my moms like can what can we do?

  775. How can we partner with, how can I just give it to you?

  776. I mean I think you'll do something with it.

  777. That can happen, you know? I don't know what the Holy Ghost

  778. is talking to them about right now.

  779. This is the world, we live in where there's, there's

  780. lawlessness and nobody wants to work and laziness and everybody

  781. wants to see themselves on their own phone.

  782. We have a leadership vacuum. People want to be influencers,

  783. but don't even know what influence actually means.

  784. They want to coach everybody and can't coach themselves.

  785. We are seeing an epidemic of the blind leading the blind, but in

  786. there, somebody's going to say, I want to see.

  787. And it's going to be like, they're on a side of a road and

  788. they're going to hear you came into town or you walked into the

  789. business. And they going to do like blind,

  790. man, Bartimaeus to start crying out for your name.

  791. Come, talk to me. Help me.

  792. How did you take your company and do that?

  793. How did you rise up to management?

  794. How did you, you know, do this, do that.

  795. Whatever the case may be, come to me.

  796. Help me. I'm crying out, for Mercy.

  797. Show me how you did it. You point them to Jesus, we can

  798. take over people. I said we can take over So

  799. oversight varies and numbers at the end of the day, it doesn't

  800. matter how many people is on your Workforce, doesn't matter

  801. how many people you oversee as a manager.

  802. It doesn't matter how many Pete, how low you are in the company.

  803. You may only have to manage yourself.

  804. So, start there, be the best employee show up on time and

  805. shocked, everybody. I mean, be early be willing to

  806. stay late and not complain about well, you know, it's almost

  807. quitting Tom and you're over there.

  808. Ready to clock out 15 minutes before when they ask for

  809. voluntary, you know, over time. Be Willie.

  810. Now, I understand. We have families, I get that.

  811. But at the end of the day open, have an open conversation with

  812. Your spouse and say, listen I feel led that at times, I mean,

  813. I could just do it. And take a couple hours.

  814. I mean, cause nobody wants to do nothing and it'll be worth a

  815. little sacrifice in the long run for us.

  816. At the end of the day, well, that was just want to take

  817. advantage of you. No one can take it.

  818. People can take advantage of you but God will not let you be

  819. taken advantage of which means you may feel like you're being

  820. taken advantage of. But God is watching it all and

  821. he'll reward you openly it happened.

  822. Man. Now when we all come together

  823. and do this, listen we share a burden.

  824. When we're all running behind the vision, we all share it.

  825. He says you shouldn't bear. This burden alone, which means

  826. it becomes a shared burden. You should fill a portion of the

  827. responsibility of the place you work with.

  828. You should have some response. Not a not.

  829. Well, I don't care about this thing.

  830. I just gave my check. I'm going home.

  831. Those are easy people to weed out people in management and

  832. owners. Can it easily identify your

  833. atmosphere? When you are actually taking a

  834. share of the burden? A share of the burden.

  835. Okay, so we share the burden, are they share the burden?

  836. So when you share the burden, guess what?

  837. You're going to feel the burden, you'll feel it.

  838. But don't take on the burden. Or think you're the only one,

  839. who understands the burden. Because that's when Absalom is

  840. created. I mean, I'm the only one.

  841. I think about this morning, anybody else.

  842. I should be running this place if they would only put a remote

  843. me. Okay, you're going to feel the

  844. burden. But not in his full weight.

  845. I tell this to any Pastor, that's not overseeing a vision,

  846. senior pastor lead pass or whatever the little crazy phrase

  847. they want to use today is the guy in charge, okay?

  848. So to speak. All right, but anyone under that

  849. when they believe God wants them to Pastor one day.

  850. I tell them, I can train you everything but there's one thing

  851. in all the training I do you will not be able to experience.

  852. Audience this until you become the pastor period.

  853. And that is the weight of the final say, because until it's

  854. yours, you'll never know what it's like to have that weight.

  855. when I was with, um, when I was with Pastor David imai, we had a

  856. situation where one of our youth leaders, a lady had had a

  857. sex-change top, only okay, didn't know about the bottom.

  858. And had a nephew was in our youth ministry.

  859. Extremely sweet person born again, this is pre salvation but

  860. we've had surgery. They're single By.

  861. All right, a eunuch for the Lord.

  862. Can I say it that way? Well.

  863. The ex relationship found out they were in church working with

  864. youth. We did not know the the church

  865. wasn't set up to ask this question.

  866. Have you had a sex change? Then ask that question.

  867. Right? So they came to my house great

  868. person. I mean, what was not perversion

  869. with the kids. Great person.

  870. Heart changed, new spirit, no issues ever.

  871. Said you know my my ex-boyfriend is wanting to cause me trouble.

  872. Okay okay well there's something I got to tell you I said okay

  873. just tell me what's the problem you know what work did he say so

  874. then she tells me is he? And then the first thing she

  875. says is I know you want to know what my name was.

  876. I said no I don't want to know what your name was.

  877. I said you're a new creature in Christ and we're just going to

  878. focus their I said but now that you told me, I have to tell

  879. Pastor David. And what that does in youth

  880. ministry I cannot tell you that, right?

  881. We pray with her, she left and that day.

  882. I was like, praise God. I am not having to make this

  883. decision day. Went all Pastor David.

  884. Now, at the end of the day, Pastor Dave, and I by All

  885. rights, collaborated on what to do.

  886. And it came that we had to take her out of the youth ministry

  887. because if anyone found out people just they'll crucify you

  888. man. I get it, I get it.

  889. So, we're gonna have to safeguard the ministry at the

  890. end of the day. But we would put them with

  891. adults and we moved her to College and Career close by All

  892. rights. They were an adult.

  893. You know, it heard them really did because they love the youth

  894. ministry, but a life decision. Hindered the capacity in our

  895. culture for them to stay in that area.

  896. All right, they later on. Got sick time later.

  897. I went visit him at the hospital and they told me their male name

  898. because I told him back and I said now when I see you You

  899. going to be different? Because I'll see you as God

  900. originally intended. You understand that?

  901. When I'll know you in heaven, but I'll see you as God always

  902. intended you. And they said my name was Donny.

  903. I'll see Donnie one day. you know, the Devil is a deceiver he

  904. destroys, that's what he does, destroy people's lives, but once

  905. you've made the choice and then you come to know Christ,

  906. Sometimes it's hard to reverse certain things.

  907. Now I told her straight up, I said, you understand, you're

  908. going to stay single the rest of your life.

  909. There's no way that you can be in a relationship.

  910. Because of that choice. And be honorable, at this point,

  911. you know what, they had no problem with that no issue.

  912. Right? Because at the end of the day,

  913. they just want to love Jesus. My point is, I didn't have the

  914. final weight on that. I felt the burden.

  915. But when I became pastor of anchor Faith, Church st.

  916. Augustine, I know what Pastor David felt.

  917. This is why. I know why David wouldn't kill

  918. Saul. Because he's like, I know what

  919. the anointing is and I know what he has capacity to have, if he'd

  920. only repent. And who am I to touch God's

  921. anointed? Wow!

  922. Okay. Are you hearing me?

  923. So, if you're not over at all, you're going to feel the burden

  924. of it, you feel the burden of anchor, Faith, Church, and our

  925. faith projects and things but don't think you are the only one

  926. and that you're the only one who understands you understand to a

  927. degree. But with us all doing it

  928. together. Laura wait, is she in here?

  929. Lower waist and up lower weight and I we left the other.

  930. I mean, it's been months. Now, could have been year.

  931. I don't know. We left too driving.

  932. I had my vehicle. She was out stopped in the

  933. middle of the road. I like what in the world is she

  934. doing something to Mel the road here on the campus?

  935. So put I said, Laura way was problem.

  936. Well someone had picked up one of the concrete you know parking

  937. spots and put it out you know I guess to sabotage someone when

  938. they come through. Sir like that.

  939. Who's that? I said, well, you know, I'll go

  940. back. Find somebody to get in little

  941. ways like no, we can do it. Okay.

  942. All right, we'll get been with Unis girl, right.

  943. So she got down there and lo and behold she shared the burden of

  944. that concrete parking and we moved it out of the way.

  945. She still brags that we did that.

  946. Yeah. Hey man, you sit down.

  947. But I knew I can't do that by moving this by myself.

  948. Now, if I was Pastor Mike, I to move to by myself out of through

  949. it, but I'm not, I know my capacity and I don't feel bad

  950. about that if he'd have been there, he said, pastor might

  951. move that I'll see you later. You go by yourself, right?

  952. You're not going to help? No, it's a toothpick to you.

  953. Why am I wasting my time? All right, at the end of the

  954. day, we shared a burden together.

  955. I do believe I carried more She felt the burden.

  956. But don't you think you understood the side?

  957. I had. All right.

  958. Amen. You're not the only one who

  959. understands the burden. All right?

  960. When we all do our part, when you do your part at work,

  961. whatever it may be. You actually Aid.

  962. The endurance of the leader. He said, well, I don't want them

  963. to endure, you want them to be there as long as God wants them

  964. there. Was that the end of the day?

  965. It's not you to remove them. But when it comes to church, you

  966. want your pastor to be able to have endurance.

  967. Right? Well, we pain buddy.

  968. You do not pay me. I know it comes through the top

  969. but at the end of the day, there are resources that came to me

  970. long before this thing ever grew and they'll be resources long

  971. after But I'm just saying we do this together.

  972. There's a mandate a vision of something that's bigger than

  973. ourselves and when you actually are active in the parking lot,

  974. guest relations, as you know, children's youth worship,

  975. whatever those area are in Outreach, family counts, all the

  976. things that we do you Aid, My longevity and yours because

  977. we're doing it together. And when that takes place, It

  978. says, peace would come those individuals, you know, after

  979. they judge them said they would leave the place in peace.

  980. If we want to have peace in this church and you want to create

  981. peace or be a peacemaker on the job site.

  982. Then you want to be the one. That is doing it within the

  983. boundary set, with a heart full doing it, as unto the Lord

  984. fearing, God being a person of Truth, not after dishonest gain,

  985. and I'm telling you, bring priests into that environment

  986. and whatever promotion comes comes, whatever it is, but you

  987. will bring peace to your co-workers that some of you've

  988. already experienced this, your co-workers come to you, why?

  989. Because you have the atmosphere of Peace.

  990. That's why they want you to pray.

  991. Pay with them when they're in chaos.

  992. This is why they come to you about their problems because you

  993. have an atmosphere of peace, right?

  994. And this church will always function in peace when we're all

  995. coming together doing exactly what were called to do.

  996. I'm not asking you to do something, you're not supposed

  997. to do, your responsibility is to do it with all your heart and

  998. don't disqualify yourself in your position.

  999. And if you'll do that, then we will take the land everything

1000. that is supposed to be ours, because it will eliminate all

1001. grumbling and complaining disputes or inevitable, even in

1002. the church. Their disputes are inevitable in

1003. the church. God should have the final say.

1004. If it's in scripture, just do it.

1005. Just do it. I've been accused of personal

1006. agendas but I can guarantee you. I have none.

1007. And if anyone who's actually been in my office and we've

1008. talked about stuff, you would be lying and you know, you'd be a

1009. liar if you know that I always said well what's the Bible say

1010. how are we going to do that according to scripture?

1011. It's nothing personal. It's at the end of the day, we

1012. got to be righteous people. It's only the ones who don't

1013. want to do the Bible. It says you're off.

1014. Period. but if you do the word, There's only one truth will find

1015. it for whatever situation to dispute we have and we'll all

1016. get in alignment with it period when we do how we not have

  1017. peace. Amen.

1018. Have you learned anything? All right, let's pray.

1019. Father, we love you. We honor you.

1020. We thank you that you're teaching us to be leaders in a

  1021. world. That's Fallen.

1022. They need great leadership. And we have lead followers in

1023. the room, people who know how to tap into the Holy Ghost.

1024. Not be led by their emotions, led by their situation that led

1025. by every report that comes into their place of business.

1026. They're able to call those things that be not as though

1027. they were, they are the calm in the storm, they are the voice of

  1028. sanity. Among.

1029. Insanity. They are order in the midst of

1030. Chaos. And they were prepared for such

1031. a time as this. Hallelujah.

1032. If you're here today, and Jesus is not Lord of your life, I will

1033. not take much time because the majority of you as I look

1034. around, probably are in the kingdom of God, but I do not

1035. want to not give an opportunity tonight.

1036. If you have never made Jesus, Lord of your life, you're always

1037. going to be in calamity. And it's time to get into peace

1038. and that only comes to a profession of faith that Jesus

1039. Christ is Lord. Thank you so much for listening
