-
Hallelujah, you can be seated. Amen.
-
Well, praise God. Anybody enjoying this Kingdom
-
rice. Is this good?
-
How. They'll Ouya.
-
And this morning we're going to just tie in and some things
-
you'll pastor always with sharing last night and talking
-
about who we are and what we are and how weird operating these
-
things have been a theme this week.
-
God is renewing within us. Who we are.
-
Our purpose. How to live in the, the
-
authority of the Kingdom. Amen.
-
Praise God. We're going to start today in
-
Luke's gospel. The first chapter, and I'm going
-
to, I'm just going to share some things and teach some things
-
today. I believe that will help you to
-
navigate through life and through this life and learn some
-
things about how to operate in your Authority as a kingdom,
-
believer, and find out that if there are certain things going
-
on, In your life, you're not missing it.
-
There's certain attacks going on in your life.
-
You're not in sin. Amen.
-
If things haven't broken loose yet, it doesn't mean that you're
-
not in faith. Okay, it just means that you're
-
living in this certain age that you're going to have to deal
-
with some of this stuff. Amen.
-
And so, what we're going to do is this if I was going to tie
-
dive just say, you know, one Kingdom with two ages,
-
hallelujah. Amen.
-
So here in Luke chapter 1, the Lord sends the Gable down.
Luke 1 chapter mention
-
We're going to pick it up in verse 30, and it says, then the
-
angel said to her, said to Mary, do not be afraid.
-
Mary for you, have found favor with God.
-
Behold, you will conceive. Conceive in your womb and bring
-
forth a son and shall call his name Jesus.
-
He will be great him and he will be called the son of the
-
highest. And the Lord God will give him
-
the Throne of his father David. And he will reign over the house
-
of Jacob forever and of his kingdom, there will be no end.
-
Now this is the Angel, Gabriel God's messenger, angel coming to
-
tell Mary what God is about to do.
-
And what he is saying, is this God is going to supernaturally
-
conceive in your womb, the son of the Living God, and he's
-
coming to be the Son of God in manifestation.
-
He's coming to be God back with you.
-
And his purpose is this. He's going to be a king.
-
He's going to rule over the throw, sit on the throne of
-
David. He's going to rule over the
-
house of Jacob and when he gets finished, his kingdom is going
-
to be so strong. So powerful and so mighty there
-
will be no end to it. Amen.
-
And we know the kingdom means Kings domain, or Dominion
-
Authority and Rule and so, therefore, he's saying, when the
-
son that you're going to conceive comes and God manifest
-
himself through the sun, he becomes the king, he's going to
-
set up his rule, his Reign, his Dominion forever and ever and
-
ever. And there's not going to be an
-
enemy that's going to be powerful enough to ever topple
-
his kingdom. Amen.
-
So He's saying this that the kingdom of God is going to be so
-
great. With this new King, sitting on
-
the throne, that they'll be no enemy that will ever be able to
-
overcome it. Praise God.
-
Now that's the kingdom. We're talking about.
-
Amen. Now in Luke's Gospel of the 16th
-
chapter. I want you to see something.
-
Here will tie this in in Luke chapter, 16 and verse 16.
-
We re down here in the Lord Jesus is speaking to the
-
Pharisees. He says the law of the Prophets
-
were until John told about John the Baptist since that time the
-
kingdom of God has been preached and everyone is pressing into
-
it. Now, the angel announces that
-
God's kingdom is coming back to humanity through a king being
-
born into the Earth. And then we don't hear much
-
about the kingdom until the Lord Jesus is baptized in the River
-
Jordan by John and he comes up out of the water and the Holy
-
Spirit comes down upon him and he's filled with the Holy
-
Spirit. John 3:34 says he received the
-
spirit of God without measuring other words.
-
He was fully baptized or anointed by the Holy Spirit.
-
And we know that because Luke chapter 4, then talks about he
Luke 4 chapter mention
-
then went in the power of the spirit and was led by the spirit
-
Into the Wilderness, a man. So Us begin to do this.
-
And so then we find out also that in John 1:29.
-
A John steps up whenever he sees the Lord Jesus coming.
-
And he says this Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin
-
of the world. So the angel Gabriel announced
-
to Mary, who her son was going to be.
-
And John was raised up by God to prepare the way for the son.
-
The Messiah, the king, and John on the River, Jordan looks up
-
and sees Coming and by the spirit of God says, Behold the
-
Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, here comes the
-
one. And here's the reason that the
-
children of Israel missed it is because they were looking for a
-
Conquering Hero to come in and just overcome Rome and set up
-
the kingdom and they were going to rule.
-
He's going to be this mighty king.
-
But the John describes this new king, as the Lamb of God, that
-
takes away the sin of the world. Well what's the conflict here?
-
Jesus came the first time as the Lamb of God and as a king, who
-
would be set in a place where he would experience all the things
-
that you and I experience. Hebrews 2 says he's a high
-
priest and as a high priest, he's touched by the infirmities
-
that we go through. In the feelings, we go through,
-
he feels everything by because he's been tempted with
-
everything. As we were see, Jesus didn't
-
come to the Earth to be a totality.
-
Therrien. King that would just ruled by
-
with without Mercy or anything and just come in my way or the
-
highway. But Jesus came first to
-
experience all that man was having to experience and go
-
through. So when he said on his throne,
-
he would be a benevolent. Loving King, who would be
-
touched by, what we're going through and be there with a
-
sensitivity to help us to get through it.
-
How they lujah. Amen.
-
And that's the king. We have sitting on the throne
-
today. A king that cannot be touched.
-
By the feeling of our infirmities.
-
He meant, he is touched. He is moved.
-
He's Minister. He's there to love us and take
-
care of us. Praise God.
-
Now, the king is wrote was looking for from the Old
-
Testament. Prophets is about to return.
-
Hallelujah. Amen.
-
And when he returns this time, he will look like a king.
-
Praise God. But you've got to understand
-
something. Here, this church age or the
-
kingdom of God was introduced back to humanity.
-
Through Gabriel when he spoke to Mary and told her that the King
-
was coming. Amen.
-
After the baptism of John notice there in Luke 16, he said that
-
the law and the prophets were preached until John the Baptist
-
up until John came the law and the prophets.
-
Office were the message that was being preached but when John
-
comes along, John begins to prepare people for the king and
-
the kingdom of God. And so the kingdom of God began
-
to be priests with John and Jesus steps up.
-
And the very first message is that the Lord Jesus preaches.
-
After the baptism of John is the gospel of the Kingdom, meaning
-
what? The change?
-
Took place there, Hallelujah, the kingdom was introduced
-
through Gabriel but then the king himself.
-
Begin to bring it forth in the preaching of the Gospel.
-
Hallelujah. Now let me show you look in
-
Mark's gospel. The first chapter over here in
-
Mark chapter 1. The Lord Jesus begins.
Mark 1 chapter mention
-
His ministry will pick it up in verse 14.
-
And it says as yeah. Now after John was set was put
-
in prison. See, Jesus does.
-
Is Jesus came to Galilee what was he doing when he came to
-
Galilee preaching, the gospel of the message of the good news of
-
the kingdom of God and saying the time is fulfilled and the
-
kingdom of God is at hand, repent, and believe in the
-
gospel. Now, the Lord, not only
-
preaches, the gospel of the Kingdom, but the Lord, Jesus,
-
now, comes and tells you how to get into the kingdom.
-
Amen. And it begins with repentance.
-
Now, there's a difference in Repentance and remorse.
-
Amen. When Judas messed up and
-
realized he messed up, he was remorseful and went out and hung
-
himself. Remorseful means I'm sad.
-
I got caught, but if I could do it again, I probably would.
-
Amen. Repentance is not only a
-
Brokenness or sadness that you've done something wrong.
-
It's a revelation that you're wrong and it is a complete
-
withdrawal from that wrongness to turn to what is right.
-
What Jesus is teaching here in this when he says repent he
-
saying you need to turn from having rule over your own life
-
and trying to control it yourself and turn that rule and
-
roll over to me so that I now have rule I now have authority
-
in your Life and now I'm the one directing your steps.
-
So we can say like this when the Lord is preaching the gospel and
-
says, repent believe the gospel. He's saying quit being your own
-
King and make me your king. Amen.
-
Quit being your own God. Doing your own thing in your own
-
self and turn to me and let me become your God.
-
Let me begin to direct you. Let me begin to be your
-
strength. And he says, what you have to do
-
is this you have to go from being your own source to
-
believing the word that I have for you.
-
And operating according to the word that I give you.
-
That's how you get in the Kingdom.
-
How many of you found out? You just don't go.
-
Forward in a church service kneel down say God forgive me.
-
I'm really sorry. I did this and the best I can
-
and will live for you and your leave.
-
Nothing happened in your life. Jesus is saying you've come to
-
the place where you're so sick and tired of the way it is.
-
And you realize that we are doing is not going to get you
-
anywhere and you can't change it and you're tired of trying to be
-
the head and Lord and king of your own life, and you need
-
help. And Lord, I'm making a complete
-
turn from what I'm doing to you. I'm going to God.
-
Instead of being rebellious to, I'm going to be submissive to
-
you. I'm turning to you for help and
-
your will to be done in my life. That's true repentance.
-
And it takes commitment to because you drop down to verse
-
17. And whenever Jesus found that,
-
you know, he started calling the disciples, he says, then Jesus
-
said to them, follow me and I will make you to become Fishers
-
of Men and immediately left their Nets and followed him.
-
You know, you could tell it like this.
-
The Amplified says he said, follow me become my disciples
-
and I'll make you Fishers of Men.
-
Learn of me. In other words, make the
-
decision to commit yourself to me.
-
Walk after me, And learn of me become a disciple.
-
And when you do, I'll change your life from being A Life.
-
That's All About You To A Life. That's all about the kingdom and
-
me. Amen.
-
Because you'll become a fisher men, you'll become an influencer
-
to the world of the good news that I'm bringing to them that
-
they can now be saved from their sins to amen.
-
But notice you have to be a follower.
-
You have to what true repentance means.
-
I, my life is going to be changed from this day forward.
-
Amen. Whenever I repented and gave my
-
heart to the Lord, I did. So because I didn't like the
-
life I had, Didn't like what I was doing.
-
Didn't like way of felt. Didn't like what was going on?
-
Didn't like the actions. I was done.
-
I did and I'd realized I couldn't change it myself.
-
So I turned to the Lord and he changed it.
-
Hallelujah. Because whenever I gave my heart
-
to the Lord, I changed Kings because whether you like it or
-
not, you're either serving King Jesus or your servant King
-
devil. Because the Lord said, you're
-
either with me and Matthew, he said, you're either with me or
-
you're against me because there is no middle the road here.
-
You're even the kingdom of God. You're in the kingdom of
-
darkness. You either under the lordship
-
and King and Rule of the Lord Jesus Christ, are you under the
-
lordship of the devil? One of them is now directing
-
your path. Determining, what you have,
-
where you go and where you end up So I chose to go with the
-
winter. Hallelujah!
-
Amen. And I chose the Lord.
-
Jesus Christ. Praise God.
-
Now, you're right there. In, Mark, go to marks the tenth
-
chapter, and here's where we were setting this up to get to
-
praise God. Mark, chapter 10 and I'm sure
Mark 10 chapter mention
-
we, you know, the story and, but we're going to touch on a little
-
bit. We're going to begin in verse
-
17. Talk about the Rich, Young
-
Ruler. And it says this.
-
Now as he was going on the road, talking about the Lord Jesus.
-
There came. Came to him and knelt before him
-
and asked him sit and he said, good teacher.
-
What shall I do that? I may inherit eternal life.
-
So Jesus said to him, why do you call me good?
-
No one is good. But God alone but one that's
-
God. Now notice here, the Lord's.
-
Yeah, I want one who say that Lord knows this this this this
-
young man comes running to Jesus and he says, good Master.
-
What do I need to do to inherit eternal life?
-
Now, we think about an eternal life.
-
We think about living forever. But eternal life, here, Zoe the
-
god, kind of. How do I get the kind of life
-
you got How do I enter into a life?
-
That's greater than the life I've got.
-
And knows the Lord says, why do you call me?
-
Good. There's only one good and that's
-
God. The Lord is testing him.
-
He's coming to him and saying basically he's looking and
-
saying do you recognize me as God incarnate as the Son of God?
-
Who is one here? Who has come from God, or do you
-
recognize me just as another good teacher?
-
Are you sincerely? Wanting a change in your life by
-
looking to me as deity and as God as the Messiah or you coming
-
to me as a Good teacher that will just add to your profile
-
and help you in life. Because how you approach the
-
Lord is going to determine what you get from me.
-
When I came to the Lord Jesus Christ, I didn't come to a good
-
teacher. I didn't come to a historical
-
figure. I didn't come to somebody.
-
That's going to come back, someday.
-
I came to a living and Lord savior Redeemer, king of kings
-
and Lord. I came to, he became real, he
-
was God to me, hey, men Jesus out, he wasn't just good.
-
He's God. And so the Lord has is locating
-
where this man is. We're what's your mold is why
-
are you wanting this kind of life?
-
Because to give this life, you have to understand who I am
-
because this life flows out of me, you can't have this life
-
without him. Amen.
-
So it doesn't start with eternal life.
-
It starts with the one who gives eternal life Amen.
-
And so the Lord is teaching here and he's showing us.
-
So, Jesus said to him, why do you call me good?
-
No one is good. But one that is God.
-
You know, the Commandments? No, she didn't say do you.
-
He said, you know, so the Lord knows this guy in Amazing when
-
we come to the Lord, he already knows as we might as well get
-
honest. Amen.
-
Well Lord, you know I really believe in the Lord says no.
-
I really know you don't believe it.
-
So the Lord says this he looks and says, you know, the
-
Commandments do not commit adultery Do not murder, do not
-
steal, do not bear false, witness do not defraud, honor
-
your father and your mother and he answered and said to him,
-
teacher all these things I have kept from my youth.
-
Okay, Gordon knew that said, you know, these things and the young
-
man says I've done that. See, it's still all about him.
-
What do I do to get eternal life?
-
I've kept all these things. I've been successful, I've been
-
prosperous. I have a good standing in the
-
community. I have great potential because
-
I'm young and they tell me already.
-
I'm doing great things. I have done all of these things.
-
Notice it. He's still looking at himself,
-
he still, he still the center of his life.
-
Okay. So look what happens.
-
And Jesus looking at him loved him.
-
Everybody say Jesus loved him. The words of the Lord are going
-
to give to him are not words of being mad at him upset with him.
-
Trying to put him in his place. Jesus is speaking out of love.
-
Jesus loves this young man and Jesus is already seen into his
-
heart. Jesus knows everything is going
-
on his life. He's already set him up.
-
To have to make a decision. Amen.
-
So this read then, Jesus looking at him, loved him and said to
-
him. One thing you like man, the Lord
-
looked at me and said, love me said about 100 things.
-
You praise God, that's pretty good.
-
This guy. He said one thing you like,
-
here's, here's the, you could say it like this.
-
So the most important thing you lack, The one thing that's the
-
most important over you, keeping these Commandments.
-
You, prospering you've been having good standing in your
-
community, you trying to be a good person.
-
The most important thing you're lacking and here it is one thing
-
you like, go your way. So whatever you have and give to
-
the poor and you will have treasure in heaven, and come
-
take up the cross and follow me. But he was, he was sat at his
-
word and went away sorrowful for.
-
He had great possessions. And then Jesus looked around and
-
said to his disciples, how hard is it for those who have riches
-
to enter the kingdom of God? Hm.
-
Now let's read on because right now you think you know you can't
-
be rich and big Christian. Love people say that.
-
And then if we preach the poverty mentality, if you're
-
going to make Chris you have to suffer their life.
-
And yeah then just live on the handouts that fall from Heaven,
-
okay? But let's let the Lord continued
-
on here. Let's don't break him off in his
-
sus and so, okay, then verse 23 again, then Jesus looked around
-
and said to his disciples, how hard is it for those who have
-
richest in the kingdom of heaven?
-
And his disciples were astonished at his word.
-
Now why would the disciples be astonished at his words?
-
If they didn't already were experiencing blessings in their
-
life? You know, if I'm poor and
-
Beatdown hungry, you know, I would have said yes.
-
That's right. Amen.
-
But you know, Peter had already gone out and got a boatload
-
sinking, net of fish tour. The market up.
-
I mean, they'd already taken that, you know, a few fish and a
-
few loaves of bread and broken fed over 5,000 people.
-
So, they were hurting, okay, and The Disciples of already seeing
-
that limb for God's a pretty good thing.
-
Because he Supernatural taking care of us.
-
So when they said it's hard to be rich and get in they went I
-
got a pretty nice cloak here and got a nice bowtie cuz I got to
-
and so they're just kind of like us today.
-
They jump to conclusions. Supposed to be poor Beatdown
-
dredging through life, living a Christianity.
-
But one day. Hallelujah.
-
When we get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be
-
no, praise God. We should have rejoicing now.
-
He, man. But Jesus answered again and
-
said to them, he's going to explain it to him children.
-
How hard is it for those who trust in riches to enter the
-
kingdom of God? It's easier for a camel to go
-
through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the
-
kingdom of God. And they were greatly astonished
-
saying among themselves and who can be saved.
-
But Jesus looked at them and said with men, it is impossible
-
but not with God, for With God, all things are possible.
-
Now, the Lord brings us to the place and he's saying I will
-
never ask you to do. something that I would not give you the
-
ability to do If you come into the kingdom of God, is not all
-
that. You can do is what I can do for
-
you. And when I ask you to do
-
something, I'm going to do it with you and for you and through
-
you. And you'll never have to deal
-
with anything that ask you to do in your own strength or young
-
power. Your own might come on.
-
How many of you know, that you can't repent without that.
-
Repent of heart that the Lord gives you whenever you hear his
-
word and reveals himself to your faith is not of you.
-
Your faith comes to you through the word of God through your
-
relationship and fellowship that you have with the Lord Jesus
-
Christ. So God Romans 12:3 gives us
-
Faith to live by It had amazing, you saved by grace through faith
-
is the gift of God, is Not of Works.
-
Lest anyone should boast everybody says, all The Graces
-
gift. Will you?
-
Faith is against everything you get in this life?
-
It comes to your king. Hallelujah.
-
And the Lord is saying if you sit down and try to figure this
-
out in your head and try to do it in your own strength, you're
-
going to struggle, you're not going to make it but With God,
-
all things are possible. Amen.
-
And one is talking to this young man.
-
Is this? He said, when he says, you go
-
sell everything you have. And give to the poor and you do
-
this. He is basically saying to the
-
young man, you need to get rid of anything and everything that
-
would hinder you from submitting your entire life.
-
To me, do not let anything else have rule or any.
-
Kind of hold in your life if it does you're not completely
-
submitted to my room and so therefore if you really want to
-
experience the blessings of God, you cannot let something else be
-
Lord in your life. Amen.
-
So he's saying cleanse yourself, son from anything that would
-
dilute your commitment to me did get rid of anything that is
-
before me. Amen.
-
Come on now. And so the Lord is speaking to
-
us. What true repentance is
-
repentance is, I don't come to God with conditions.
-
And also, we now find the motive of the heart of this young man.
-
He wasn't coming to inherit the Kingdom or go move into the
-
camera. Move into the life of God.
-
He was coming to get another notch in his in his sword so
-
that he could show everybody what kind of a good person.
-
He was, it was about him. The folks, I want to tell you
-
something. The kingdom of God is not about
-
me. It's about Jesus.
-
Amen. And Pastor brought out last
-
night, I'm an ambassador of the Lord.
-
Paul said we are ambassadors. We had the privilege of taking
-
this word of reconciliation to the world and telling the people
-
but I don't go and tell them I can get them saved.
-
I don't go and tell them what I'm doing.
-
I don't go and tell them what I'm living.
-
I go and tell them what God wants or them to have on what
-
the kingdom. All about, I'm representing
-
Jesus. I don't speak on my behalf even
-
when I pray for the sick and minister to them.
-
Jesus said, in my name, they will lay hands on the sick and
-
they shall recover. You know, that means, that means
-
in my stead, in my place, in my behalf, doing it.
-
As if I was there myself, you lay your hands on him and my
-
name. And I'll step in and heal them
-
because you're representing me. And the Lord is trying to get
-
across this young man. Even the disciples are having a
-
little difficulty with it because they're attaching things
-
around here. And what they do with the
-
kingdom of God, and what the Lord is, trying to get them to
-
the places is, and he's saying those are just blessings of the
-
Kingdom. Those are just things I give you
-
to enjoy life work with you, but the true things that I have for
-
you. The kingdom of God, is the
-
relationship of walking with me, And knowing me and being a part
-
of me being a part of what I have and joining in with me to
-
bring the kingdom to others and having the joy of seeing lives
-
changed and harsh touch and said he shaking haleluya and so he's
-
ministering to the disciples here.
-
And so then he goes on, let's go down here and read again.
-
Verse 28, then Peter began to say to him.
-
We have left all and followed you We've left all followed you.
-
Now, a lot of times we take them we said well I've got to walk
-
away from everything I've got, I've got to give up my business
-
and go bit missionary someplace. Not unless the Lord told you to
-
Amen. Let's read it.
-
Let me bring it out to you. So, Jesus answered and said,
-
assuredly, I say to you. There is no one who has left
-
house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or
-
children or lands for my sake. And the gospels you did for my
-
sake in by 4:30 me and your commitment to me and the gospels
-
who shall not receive a hundredfold.
-
Now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers
-
and children with lands and lands with persecutions and in
-
the age to come eternal life. Let's just sit like this, the
-
Lord Peter comes up to him and he says, Lord.
-
We have put everything we've got under your Authority.
-
Because they didn't leave their house.
-
Still had a house. Didn't leave their family, they
-
still had families. In fact, even after
-
Resurrection, Peter went fishing.
-
And and and that meant that I left my wife left, my kids left
-
my home and Stranded them just to go out and do things of God,
-
I would be wrong because the Bible teaches me that I'm to
-
love my wife and nurture. Her Bible teaches me time to be
-
a good parent to my children. Bible teaches me that I can't
-
even preach in the house of God, if I can't do that.
-
Know how to take care of my own home?
-
The Bible teaches me. If I don't take care of all
-
these things, I'm worse than an unbeliever.
-
So there's got to be something that's, that's missing here when
-
we say, I left house, and brother, and father, mother and
-
sisters brothers, and for your sake, and you'll receive 100
-
folder in this lifetime. Let's just sit like this.
-
Let's go back to the Rich Young Ruler.
-
What do you say? Take, and give everything you
-
got. And come follow me.
-
Lord, I make the commitment. That I will love you.
-
First more than I love my wife. I will love you first more than
-
I love my children. I love you first and more than I
-
love anything. I've got or anything that I'm
-
doing because see, if I love you more than I love my wife, then I
-
can love my wife. The way I'm supposed to.
-
Because then I'm going to cherish her and love her with
-
your love. And if I love my children after
-
I love you, then I'm going to be to them what you want me to be
-
and raise them up the way, they should be raised up and that's
-
what the Lord is saying. He say anything, you will
-
surrender to me and put me Lord over.
-
I'll make it a hundred times better than you could have if
-
you'd have done it yourself. I'm living proof folks.
-
I want to tell you something. Next few months bonding that
-
will celebrate 48 years, that we've been together.
-
Hallelujah. And we watch God, take us from
-
we didn't have anything when we came to the Lord.
-
I mean we you looked up the word poverty and have picture men
-
Bonnell beside Okay. We had very little of anything
-
and we just but but we had a commitment to the Lord Jesus
-
Christ that we were going to get it.
-
We didn't have a Bible with to go out and you heard start I use
-
S&H Green Stamps to get our first bible yet while y'all
-
don't know what it is. A Redemption story.
-
We found a Bible in a Redemption story.
-
I had a book of essays Green Stamps and took it and got us a
-
Bible That's first Bible. Whatever.
-
Wasn't raised to know anything in China.
-
I was raised to be a good person leaving God.
-
Amen. But we made a commitment to the
-
lordship of Jesus and when we first got married, we didn't do
-
much of anything. But I looked at her and I said,
-
we need to make this commitment to each other.
-
I said, You need to love me second and I need a love you.
-
S. You need love Jesus first.
-
And I needed love Jesus first because if Jesus is first in my
-
life than at put you in the position, you need to be in my
-
life and if and if I love and commit to Jesus first, then I
-
would have to break my walk with him before I could ever break my
-
commitment to you and I'm not going to break my commitment to
-
the Lord. Therefore you can trust me.
-
I'm never going to do you wrong. Tell me to do my wife wrong I
-
have to do my Lord wrong first and I'm not going to go against
-
my king. Amen.
-
And so we made that commitment and and in making that, praise
-
God. God has blessed us and prospered
-
us. And he's given us a hundred
-
times more than we could have ever experienced in our life.
-
If we did try to do it our own way.
-
The kingdom of God works. Because we have a benevolent
-
King who loves us and is touched by our infirmities.
-
And knows how to get us through those situations.
-
Praise God, and he's and, and what he's asking for us in this
-
hour, is to renew your commitment and consecration to
-
my lordship and my rule in your life because when you consecrate
-
everything, you've got into my hands, I'll make it better than
-
you could. And this is the thing to you
-
know, God blesses us with money and he started teaching me this
-
one. I went to Rhema We went to
-
Raymond, have anybody helping us.
-
And we went out there with no money, just enough to get the
-
first month paid for and get a rented, a, an apartment.
-
And so, you know, I was really needing some cash.
-
I walked into the front lobby there of the old Rooker,
-
Auditorium only had two buildings when I went there.
-
Hallelujah. But anyway, I walked in the
-
front lobby and somebody walked up and said praise the Lord
-
Brother Darryl I shook my hand and there's a twenty dollar
-
bill, the God is a good day. Hallelujah.
-
I stuck that twenty dollars in my pocket.
-
I got about 15 Steps. Heading towards the auditorium.
-
Somebody came as hey Darrell you got any money.
-
I went why and it was young lady said and I think her name was
-
Kate. Katie.
-
She yeah. She's about 20 dollars short of
-
having her tuition. We've raised up about except 20
-
you have any money and I still got my 20 in my hand in my
-
pocket. I'm thinking I was two steps
-
away from getting into the sanctuary.
-
Two steps away from my $20 been in my pocket Holly but
-
immediately my heart. I had that auction you.
-
So in her you give that's why I gave it to you.
-
Now I'm placed in the same position.
-
The Rich Young Ruler is in. Now, he may have had great
-
possessions but that $20 was a great possession at me at that
-
moment. And I've got a decision, do I
-
give it and trust my Lord and my king or do I keep it and trust
-
in me? Well thank God.
-
I made a commitment to the lordship of Jesus and I just
-
pulled that 20 out and I said I got 20, they grabbed out of my
-
hands at all. That's great.
-
You'll be able to stay in school.
-
She got to pay it today and they ran in and gave her the money
-
and I looked in and she's up there dancing and praising
-
crying. And I rejoiced I went in sit
-
down after the service. Got up went out.
-
Hallelujah. Got my car and said Lord how it
-
was so great, but how am I going to get gas to get home?
-
Hallelujah. And it wasn't too long after
-
that, somebody came up and bought me a tank a guess.
-
How they though, you and took care of me.
-
And from that time on, I learned something that the Rich Young
-
Ruler didn't learn the Lord, never was asking me to give up
-
something. He was asking me to put myself
-
in a position. To get something.
-
He was wanting me to operate under his lordship and not under
-
the lordship of the enemy who was stealing, killing and
-
destroying. And he wanted me to learn to
-
trust that I have a king that is trustworthy good and kind and
-
cares for me and he wants to get me through.
-
Amen and since then, thank God, we've been able to give a whole
-
lot more Hallelujah because every time the Lord asks we've
-
done it. God's asked us to do certain
-
things. We've done it.
-
Praise God. Have we done a perfectly?
-
I know, but we've committed ourselves to follow the king.
-
Amen. Now, look, something here in.
-
Verse 30, we really want to touch on this for the next few
-
moments is so help you Nosy, says who shall receive a
-
hundredfold. Now in this time, everybody say,
-
in this time, houses and brothers, sisters and mothers,
-
and children, and lands with persecutions, and in the age to
-
come eternal life. Notice that the Lord talks about
-
two different ages, This time. And the age to come.
-
You understand, you gotta understand some folks.
-
The kingdom of God is broken up into two ages.
-
An age is a designated period of time.
-
And right now, you and I are living in the age of blessing
-
with persecution. You understand.
-
Now there is a cut and all of this has been in response to
-
answer the question. What must I do to inherit
-
eternal life or what must I do to get over into the fullness of
-
the life of God. Amen.
-
And Jesus says, you've got to commit your whole life to me and
-
he got to do this and he says and here's what I will do even
-
in this present age, I will bring to you a hundred times
-
better than what you can have. But the difference is, in this
-
present age, you're going to get the blessing with persecution.
-
And somebody says, well, why are we getting blessed with
-
persecution? What do you mean the two
-
different ages you have the age to come, which is the millennial
-
age and then you have the age that's right now, let me show
-
you this age this right now. Real quick lations 1:4 glaciers
-
chapter one. Look what the Apostle says over
-
here. See you got to understand the
-
age that you're living in, and then you'll understand how to
-
ruin to have dominion as a king of under the king.
-
Praise God. Glaciers won't.
-
Listen. Let's begin.
-
Actually in verse 3 and we'll read the verse 5.
-
He says grace to you and peace from God, the father, and our
-
Lord Jesus Christ. Now listen, who gave himself for
-
our sins, that he might Deliver Us from this present, evil age,
-
according to the will of our God.
-
God and Father to him be glory forever and ever.
-
Amen. Notice that Paul calls this
-
present age and evil age? Well, women brother died.
-
I thought we were living in the kingdom of God.
-
And Jesus came and brought Redemption.
-
Yes, he did. I thought we were supposed to
-
rule and Reign. We are.
-
But have you never ruled the even and when you're under
-
attack, and whenever things are going south Paul writes to the
-
Romans and he says, all this stuff is going on, yet, in all
-
these things, we are more than conquerors through him.
-
That loved us. What's that mean?
-
You? And I need to wake up and
-
realize we are not living in the age to come yet.
-
We're not living in the millennial age, this age began
-
An with the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ because in
-
Ephesians chapter 2, he says this that when we were even dead
Ephesians 2 chapter mention
-
in sins and trespasses, God raised us up together with
-
Christ and seated Us in Heavenly places and brought Redemption to
-
us and that in the ages to come. We you know we he was chose His
-
blessings and and work in our lives.
-
Praise God. And so thank God.
-
Yes. We have been brought into the
-
kingdom age. But this age, you Got to
-
understand Galatians 3:13 and 14 says Christ hath redeemed us
-
from the curse of the law and that right becoming a curse for
-
us for it is written. Cursed, is everyone who hangs on
-
a tree, why that The Blessing of Abraham might come upon the
-
Gentiles that we might receive the promise of the spirit
-
through faith? And then he brings it to the
-
reality of my living at vitally in verse 29, it says, and if you
-
be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed and heirs,
-
according to the promise. So even right now, we are
-
redeemed from the curse of the law but you need to understand
-
something though. We are redeemed from the curse
-
of the law. Jesus did not receive Jesus, did
-
not remove the curse from this age.
-
The curse of the Lost poverty sickness disease.
-
Are you listening to me? And all that stuff is still
-
here. Hebrews 2:14-15 says that Jesus
-
Christ took upon himself, the form of Flesh and Blood and came
-
and and through death destroyed him.
-
That had the power of death that is the devil.
-
So that those who were through fear of death were all their
-
lifetime subject, to bondage, could be delivered and set free.
-
Now, what's he mean? Destroyed him that had the power
-
of death. It means to render powerless or
-
take the authority away from. Jesus didn't do away with the
-
devil during this age. He still here.
-
Second Corinthians 4:4 says he still the God of this world and
-
he's blinding the minds of people that don't believe John
-
10. Jesus said in verse 10, he is
-
still the thief that's still in killing and destroying.
-
Amen. See a lot of times we get say,
-
we give her life to the Lord and we think everything's going to
-
be wonderful. And we're never going to have
-
another test or trouble or problem.
-
But in John 16, Jesus said, in verse 33 in this world, in this
-
time you're going to have test trials, tribulations, struggles
-
and troubles but be of good cheer.
-
I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of its right
-
to overcome you and defeat you. Hallelujah.
-
See, when we talk about ruling and reigning, you have to know
-
the age, you're living in. You need to understand.
-
They're still opposition here. Jesus didn't remove all this
-
wickedness. He delivered us from it.
-
Hallelujah. And so, you know, if you don't
-
understand this age and what we're living in then when some
-
bad thing happens in your life, you think you're missing it.
-
You think you're not worthy? You think you don't have enough
-
Faith. You think that you?
-
What were you getting those thoughts?
-
The same stinkin Thinkin thought.
-
Give her. The devil is still here and he
-
can't, he can't just come in and take you down.
-
He has to talk you into submitting and agreeing with him
-
first B25. Peter than say, he is a lion
-
that roams about, he says he Is like a roaring lion who roams
-
about? Many.
-
What his biggest his Roar is much more worse than his bite.
-
That's what Jesus said. Take no thought saying, take no
-
worries. Thank saying don't be anxious.
-
Why those are the things of this age?
-
And whenever you give and God starts blessing, you get ready
-
persecutions coming. Why?
-
Because the devil wants you to feel like something's wrong
-
because you're getting blessed. Are you hearing me?
-
We need to know this age. We need to understand this
-
segment of time that we're living in that we are still
-
living in a lost world. We're still living in a world.
-
Where the kingdom of darkness is here.
-
We're still living in a world where there's a devil and their
-
demon forces that's why in Ephesians 6.
-
He says, to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might
-
put on the whole armor of God, so that you can resist and stand
-
steadfast Against the Wild schemes and plans of the devil.
-
Amen. Then he As listen, don't get
-
caught up in, fighting flesh, and blood and war with people
-
and things in there that your problem for the weapons of our
-
Warfare are not Mighty. There are not carnal but they're
-
Mighty through God, to the pulling down of the strongholds
-
and he says, if we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but we
-
stand strong against principalities and powers and
-
rulers of darkness and wicked spirits.
-
And every High thing that's lifted up in heaven, as we bring
-
them down. Hallelujah?
-
Why? Because we are here to represent
-
the king of kings and Lord of lords and he gave us a
-
commission to take his kingdom and going to All the world and
-
change the nation's change people and deliver them from
-
this darkness. That the devil is trying to keep
-
them in and then he says in Hebrews, he says forsake, not
-
the assembling of yourselves. Why?
-
So you can be reminded every day that we're still living in a
-
loss. Dirty, stinking darkened world.
-
But we are delivered from all that dirty darkness and stinking
-
world. And we are to bring the Light of
-
Christ in the light of the kingdom of God, to all the
-
people and set her free. And so we come and exhort each
-
other and learn who we are in Christ and learn of the kingdom
-
of God and learn of our Authority and learn of the time
-
that we're living in. So that we walk out here, we are
-
not blind sided by some silly thing that the devil is trying
-
to defeat as well. Well, I got saved in this been
-
worse. Since I got safe.
-
Welcome to my world. The Lord didn't promise that
-
Rich Young Ruler Lord, he said follow me and to follow him.
-
What did the disciples do? They got?
-
They got persecuted. They got run out of towns.
-
I mean they had the same attacks against them that Jesus had
-
against himself. The Lord wasn't offering the
-
Rich. Young Ruler, a nice easy, Peezy
-
Weezy life. He was offering him a life
-
filled with authority and power that you could take losing
-
situations and turn them into victories that you could take
-
bad situations and turn them for good that you could walk in the
-
power of God, right? In the midst of all the attacks
-
of the enemy and walk right out of that fire, without being
-
singed. Touched A Hallelujah.
-
But you see, you have to understand this is the season
-
that we're living in. This is the time that we're
-
living in. But then here in over there, in
-
Luke's are marked 10:30 when the Lord continued on.
-
He said, you know, you're going to receive a hundredfold.
-
In other words, anything you put in my hands right now, even
-
though you've got an enemy that's resisting, you I'll make
-
it a hundred times better than you could have done without me.
-
I'll make your life a hundred times better.
-
How bless your family? I bless your home.
-
I'll bless the work of your hands.
-
You you sow and reap when everybody else is not. and when
-
they beat you and put you in jail, At midnight. when you
-
finally wake up and come to yourself, you look around and
-
say Jesus is still Lord less praising.
-
And right there, like Paul and Silas right there in that jab
-
midnight. You just start Prince, you'll
-
pray. And you'll praise why.
-
Because you know, the season, the time, the age of living in,
-
you know, what your purposes, you know, who you Lord Is, You
-
Know, Who You Came? Yeah, I've told this before,
-
but, you know, Paul and Silas, we're not praying to get out of
-
jail. No brother.
-
Don't, how can you say that? Well, I say that, because the
-
word says that No, no, yes, yes, read it.
-
And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang, Praises unto
-
God. And the prisoners heard them.
-
And while they were singing and praising, God the Earth Shook,
-
and the jail doors opened, the chains fell off and the guard
-
came in. It was going to fall on his
-
sword because he was entrusted with the keeping them.
-
And Paul says, do yourself, no harm.
-
We're still here now. They've been praying to get out,
-
brother. I'm going to tell you what soon
-
is that jailed opened up and those change fellow?
-
Boom. You would have seen nothing, but
-
a trail of dust with me. Praise God, I'm heading to the
-
nearest boat at the nearest dock to get off of this island.
-
Hallelujah, amen. But they're still sitting there.
-
now, while they still sitting there because they understand
-
the season Asia lived in, but they also understand that Jesus
-
said follow me, Go sell all you have and follow me.
-
So when they came into the kingdom, they ceased living
-
their Kingdom, they ceased being Kings over their lives and they
-
met Jesus king and Lord of their lives.
-
They gave him full Rule and they're trusting him that even
-
though the enemies came in like a flood Lord, I believe that
-
you're turning this thing around and what the devil meant for
-
bad. You're going to turn for my good
-
and and Paul never forgot his purpose.
-
His purpose was to go. Do what Jesus said, I'm going to
-
send you, and you're going to establish the kingdom.
-
All over this place. You're going to preach to the
-
Gentiles. You're going to reach the
-
nation's you're going. And so he is he is established a
-
church. it's right there, ladies house already and if he'd ran
-
out of there, what kind of example that have been He
-
understood there's a greater purpose here than me having some
-
Comforts right now. The purpose is I was sent here
-
to stablish the kingdom of God. I'm here representing my king
-
and if I run out that's the image they're going to have of
-
him. So I'm going to turn this thing
-
around so he just put it in God's hands and started praising
-
the Lord for his victory. Lord, shut that place, delivered
-
him out of it and then he goes to the jailers house, gets him
-
and his family. Safe, he cleans him up the next
-
day he makes the authorities. Come and apologize to him before
-
he leaves. I'm going to show you that the
-
kingdom of God is greater than the kingdom of darkness.
-
When you College eyes to me, then I'll consider leaving the
-
town. He went from the bottom to the
-
top from the tail to the Head. Amen.
-
Why? Because anything you give to me,
-
I'll give it back to you a hundredfold in this life with
-
some persecutions. But then the age to come, you
-
don't have a lot of time to touch on the HTM.
-
What's the age to come? It begins in the millennial
-
reign. It begins the millennial Reign.
-
When we inherit the fullness of life, that that when we get
-
blessed, we don't get persecuted.
-
Because the persecutors locked up Romans to Revelation 20 says
-
in the bottomless pit, And so we enter into the fullness of time
-
age of the Millennium. Amen.
-
The age to come and thank God. But you know it's a great about
-
the age to come. Let me show you something.
-
Look in Ephesians chapter one real quick.
-
Hallelujah. And I don't want to take too
-
much time, but how many of give me two more minutes.
-
Pray, praise God. Let me quickly share this with
-
you. It'll help you praise God in
-
Ephesians chapter 1. The Apostle Paul is writing to
Ephesians 1 chapter mention
-
the Church of Ephesus, gives them a prayer.
-
We're going to pick that prayer up down here in verse 17.
-
It says that the god of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of
-
Glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and Revelation
-
in the knowledge of him. God wants to have a revelation
-
of him. The eyes of your heart, your
-
understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the
-
hope of his calling, what is the riches of the glory of his
-
inheritance in the Saints and what is the exceeding greatness
-
of his power to Ward us who believe according to the working
-
of his mighty power? Which you worked in Christ when
-
he raised him from the dead, set him at his own right hand in the
-
Heavenly places far above all principality and power and might
-
and dominion. And every name that is named not
-
only in this age but also in that, which is to come Jesus is
-
Lord over all things in this age and in the age to come, but in
-
the age to come, there's going to be the fullness of life
-
without persecution. Somebody says, well, what does
-
that do for me? Now?
-
Hebrews chapter 6, and verse 5, or more closer with the
Hebrews 6 chapter mention
-
scripture, I was going to quote it to you, but you need to read
-
it Hebrews. Chapter 6 and verse 5. and if
Hebrews 6 chapter mention
-
you have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to
-
come, what's the powers of the age to come for healing for
-
deliverance for Prosperity, full Victory, full piece you over,
-
the Lord is saying to us, grab hold of this, even though, we're
-
living in this age. Now with persecutions where the
-
enemy still operating you and I can reach over into the age to
-
come. And when the sickness of this
-
age, tries to attack my body, I can reach over into the age of
-
to come and grab my healing. That's going to be full healing
-
and bring. Healing from the age to come
-
into the age. I'm in and receive my healing
-
from God. Hallelujah.
-
When the enemy comes in tries to steal my finances, I can reach
-
over into the age to come and grab my Prosperity.
-
That I'm going to have over and bring it into the age.
-
I'm in right now. Why?
-
Because I'm an ageless child of the Living.
-
God, I'm not restricted to ages. I'm living in this age but have
-
access to the next stage. Woo, Garita.
-
God. And when you get this Revelation
-
that you have access to the age to come, no wonder, you begin to
-
rule and reign as kings. And Priests on this earth right
-
now, no wonder your righteousness put you in a place
-
where you walk in your rights and Privileges and you walk and
-
tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power
-
