  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast

  2. from st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now, enjoy this message. Hasn't this been Rich so far?

  4. Can you handle some more man? I just tell you these things

  5. just build on one another. You know we've done these

  6. conferences now for so long for several years especially in the

  7. vein of Kingdom rise. It was full force Kingdom

  8. conference before that and each time the the speakers that are

  9. lined up the speakers that we bring in.

  10. It just seems that everything just Builds on itself.

  11. One thing's connected to the other, we find ourselves, you

  12. know, kind of trampling over walking over each other's

  13. messages, I'm sitting down there this morning, you would think

  14. Pastor Daryl, and I studied together in preparation for this

  15. morning. But that's just how it's been.

  16. And, you know, I was telling Pastor Earle back in the room

  17. before we came out this morning. I said I've got so many

  18. branches. You know, you're trying to dial

  19. in which one do you can't. Can you take that morning?

  20. They're all connected to the same.

  21. Tree and then, Pastor Daryl does what he did.

  22. And I'm just sitting my wife's like laughing at me because she

  23. can see my notes and I'm just going, you got to be kidding me.

  24. You got to be kidding me. You know, I had the Rich Young

  25. Ruler in here and I'll have some things to say about it, but he

  26. pretty much said, much of what needed to be said.

  27. And but, you know, that's the thing is we get in here and I

  28. may see 10 different ways to go, somebody's gonna hit it because

  29. by the holy spirit is not all on me.

  30. It's not all on pasture. Earl, Pastor Daryl Pastor, Rowdy

  31. Pastor Marcy. Anybody else at speaking, we're

  32. all being used, it's a coordinated effort.

  33. If you will, we're all working together whether we know it or

  34. not because I texted or know we were together Pastor on I

  35. somewhere and you know, I just asked because it's his house.

  36. It's his conference. I'm submitted to the to the man

  37. of God and to the plan of God through him.

  38. And I just asked, you know, is there any specific theme is

  39. there, any specific Direction you want to go?

  40. And he just Laughs at me, you know, because I know the answer.

  41. But again, I'm just asking to ask you, not just want to be

  42. submitted to whatever he's sensing and feeling whatever

  43. direction we should go. And of course, we don't line it

  44. out that way, but it seems, I think every single time we've

  45. done a kingdom rise conference, we end up in the same vein.

  46. We end up in this same theme even though it's the kingdom,

  47. we're picking apart principles or elements of the kingdom, and

  48. they all just connect. And that's the way the kingdom.

  49. Works. That's what we're trying to get

  50. across to you, and and I hope that you are grabbing ahold of

  51. that. I had someone tell me yesterday,

  52. at next Kingdom rides. I'm taking two weeks off, one

  53. week to receive it. And I need another week just to

  54. digest it and process it. The conversations that we have

  55. back in the green room after each session or at lunch or

  56. dinner, or when we're to get just comes out of us.

  57. And I'm telling you right now guys, if you are not having

  58. conversations after these conferences with one You're

  59. missing out on one of the greatest aspects of Kingdom

  60. rise, do not. And I'm just, we're gonna talk

  61. about today, do not just, merely receive it has to be unloaded.

  62. It has to be talked about discussed processed digested

  63. shared with one another. Amen.

  64. And that is the way that this just continues to build on one

  65. another here and listen to what each other is getting take notes

  66. and then go back and reread those Us notes and highlight

  67. those notes and get in the verses and you've got to dig

  68. into this thing and that's what we're trying to unveil.

  69. I've been on a journey now with you since Monday on unveiling.

  70. This mystery of the Kingdom, The Mystery of the Kingdom, we saw

  71. Jesus having a conversation with the religious leader, the elite

  72. of the elite, the the ones that should have been able to grasp

  73. this in seen this based on man's qualifications or man standards.

  74. Our skilled, they're knowledgeable.

  75. They're educated their intellectual, right?

  76. Their analytical. These are men that have given

  77. themselves to trying to understand the nature of God,

  78. who God is God's laws and God's principles.

  79. But yet he says, we hear your great teaching.

  80. We see your signs and wonders, but Jesus says, man, you can't

  81. even see the kingdom, unless you're born again.

  82. And so, we've been looking at This understanding that the

  83. degree to which you exhibit the kingdom demonstrate the Kingdom

  84. live, the kingdom is always directly connected to your

  85. ability to hear and see the kingdom.

  86. And just because you can hear the powerful teachings and see

  87. the Miracles, and wonders does not mean you see the kingdom

  88. later on. He tells Nicodemus you can see

  89. the effects of the wind, but you don't see where it's coming

  90. from. You can see the effects of the

  91. Kingdom, but you are Sorted to applauding a miracle but never

  92. participating with one and guys, Jesus did not come to show us

  93. what he could do. He came to show us what we could

  94. do. Say that again.

  95. Jesus did not just come to show us what he could do.

  96. He came to show us what we can do.

  97. He expected us to be active, participants in this Kingdom.

  98. Not Mere bystanders, not Spectators, but participators,

  99. right. Getting us off the sideline out

  100. of the grand stands, and onto the playing field, and being a

  101. part of the last day and time Revival.

  102. Amen. And so, he says, you can't even

  103. see the kingdom unless you're born again.

  104. So he sets a different standard for this born.

  105. Again, live being born again to Jesus.

  106. Obviously meant something different to him than it has

  107. become to us. Because what we fail to

  108. understand, we typically redefine.

  109. So we've redefined born again because we didn't understand

  110. being born again. We didn't understand it.

  111. According to Jesus standard, that this is an invitation, a

  112. journey of discovery of finding out all that the kingdom has for

  113. you. And we have reduced it to just

  114. entry-level just getting into Thing, and then by standing,

  115. waiting by watching things, take place, but never participating

  116. until we go to Heavens. This making sense, just giving a

  117. little recap yesterday. We talked about the treasure the

  118. treasure, what you treasure, you attract, what you value, what

  119. you honor in your life. You get more of Jesus made the

  120. statement in Matthew Chapter 13. After he told the disciples,

    Matthew 13 chapter mention

  121. it's a mystery to you. It's been given to know the

  122. Mysteries. He's of the Kingdom.

  123. A mystery is a secret thing or a hidden thing.

  124. Remember, it is not hidden from you.

  125. It is hidden for you. Say that again, it's not hidden

  126. from you. It's hidden for you, it's set

  127. apart for you, but it's going to take some effort.

  128. It's going to take some urgency. It's going to take some yield

  129. Ignace of the heart. We talked about the posture of

  130. the heart, and if your heart is posture to receive you'll get in

  131. abundance, he said to him, who has more will be given to the

  132. one who does not have though. So, if I posture myself in a way

  133. that I cannot hear event, Actually, I will not hear

  134. eventually. I will refuse to hear.

  135. And you can see all the signs, and you still deny.

  136. You can hear all the powerful teaching and still be a downer

  137. and an unbeliever eventually becoming offended.

  138. I was going to go this morning, the direction of familiarity and

  139. talking about because familiarity is the opposite of

  140. Honor when something becomes common.

  141. You have stepped away from honoring something.

  142. It's common. It's and guys, this is the thing

  143. in our lives today. I see the Next Generation in

  144. this room. I speak to my generation and

  145. above what we treat as optional, they will treat as unnecessary.

  146. Brother Hagin said it. We are one generation away.

  147. From not seeing the move of God. We if we, if we fail to pass it

  148. down, they will pass it up. If we don't pass it down, they

  149. will pass it up. It's up to us to show them.

  150. The all of God, it's up to up, to us to show them the kingdom,

  151. of God, the value in the honor for these things.

  152. But when we, when our kids are urging us to get to church, are

  153. we going to church today? I mean, it's time and we're not

  154. even, you know, What are we passing down?

  155. They'll eventually pass it up. If it's optional to us, it'll be

  156. unnecessary to them. Okay, so familiarity and this is

  157. the thing in Mark chapter 6. We've been talking about it when

    Mark 6 chapter mention

  158. he went home and preached in his hometown Nazareth.

  159. Maybe they were familiar with him.

  160. When you become familiar, you're one step away from becoming

  161. offended because now it's common.

  162. Now I see the problems with it, more than I see the blessing

  163. with it. Now, I complain about the thing.

  164. I once prayed for This is what common does in our life.

  165. This is what familiarity does in our life.

  166. I now become offended with it. What's he, who does?

  167. He think he is this Man from Nazareth.

  168. Doing these Miracles and preaching these teachings and

  169. doing all these awesome wonders. Familiarity, isn't he just the

  170. carpenter, isn't he don't? We live with his brothers and

  171. sisters, didn't we grow up with him?

  172. It's familiarity. And when you treat something as

  173. familiar, you're one step away from becoming offended by it,

  174. but I'm not going to talk about familiarity today.

  175. My message today, I have titled it a better response.

  176. A better response and will take us back to Matthew Chapter 13.

    Matthew 13 chapter mention

  177. It's kind of where we've been entrenched here.

  178. Jesus said, the born-again life should be marked by a kingdom

  179. experience. You can't even see the kingdom.

  180. Unless one is born again and our Born Again, life should not just

  181. be a mere praying, a prayer and sitting around waiting to go to

  182. heaven. It should be marked by a journey

  183. and discovery of Kingdom things of Kingdom, reality of a,

  184. shifting of a perspective. That's what the Born Again, life

  185. should be marked by. And in Matthew, Chapter 13,

    Matthew 13 chapter mention

  186. Jesus, of course, gives the parable of the sower.

  187. We've Been digging into this and his disciples come to him and

  188. say why do you talk to them in these hard to understand

  189. stories, hard to understand illustrations?

  190. We've always defined Parables as a way that Jesus illustrated The

  191. Kingdom but it's actually a way that he concealed the kingdom,

  192. he hid the Kingdom from people that didn't want to hear, If you

  193. won't hear, you don't hear. But he said to you, it's been

  194. given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom.

  195. You have ears to hear you have eyes to see, right?

  196. Well let's break down this. Parable starting in verse 18.

  197. We've gotten all the way up to this point.

  198. So let's finish this thing off, Verse 18.

  199. Now, listen to the explanation vert and the I'm reading out of

  200. the new living. Listen to the explanation of the

  201. parable about the farmer planting seeds, the seat that

  202. fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message.

  203. Everyone say, hear hear the message about the kingdom but

  204. don't understand it. The evil one comes and snatches

  205. away. The seed that was planted,

  206. everyone say planted in their hearts, the seed on the rocky

  207. soil represents. Those who hear everyone say,

  208. hear the message and immediately receives it with joy.

  209. But since they don't have Deep Roots, they don't last long,

  210. they fall away as soon as They have problems.

  211. You know, how many Believers are one problem away from falling

  212. away from the word, one crisis away?

  213. They are on the there's no margin in their life whatsoever.

  214. We're not even talking a multitude of Crisis, after

  215. crisis. We're talking just one little

  216. hiccup and they're, like, does this thing even work challenging

  217. and questioning Because they don't have Deep Roots, they

  218. don't last long, they fall away as soon as they have problems or

  219. our part persecuted for believing God's word.

  220. Verse 22 says, the seed that fell among the Thorns

  221. represents. Those who hear everyone say hear

  222. God's word, but all too quickly, the message is crowded out by

  223. the worries of this life and the lure of wealth.

  224. So, no fruit is produced. Verse 23 says the seed that fell

  225. on good soil represents. Those who truly hear everyone

  226. say here and understand God's word and produce a harvest of

  227. 30, 60 or even 100 times as much as had been planted.

  228. Notice that I had you repeat the word here four times.

  229. It can be easy if we don't maintain the authenticity of the

  230. word to think, we'll only one heard because one produce, how

  231. many produced, how many heard, how many produced?

  232. How many heard this is a problem.

  233. This is a problem. It actually says, even the one

  234. word, the seed fell, by the wayside heard.

  235. Guys, we're not talking about the world that is unaware of

  236. knowledge and Truth. We're talking about people that

  237. sit in these chairs sit in these pews, sit on the same row with

  238. you. And on this row, we can have one

  239. of four responses. But all of them were in the

  240. environment to hear the word. Faith comes by.

  241. We got to hear. That's the starting point.

  242. We've got to hear something. How can they do?

  243. Unless they have heard, how can they be sent?

  244. Unless they have her? The hearing is such a powerful

  245. component, but guys, there is a better response.

  246. So let's break these responses down and then we're going to use

  247. a couple of illustrations, one that Pastor Darrell's already

  248. used. So I can Breeze through that

  249. one, and then get 21 more. I always have one in the

  250. chamber. Pastor Earle taught me that I

  251. texted all my verses to Josh back there, Josh and Chase.

  252. And I have been having so many conversations this week about

  253. all this stuff and so I texted him my verses and then Pastor

  254. Daryl started preaching and I've responded back to Josh's and

  255. thing. He said that he got them and I

  256. said, you got to be kidding me. But I got another one in the

  257. chamber, so I texted him another verse right down there.

  258. As I've said, I was like, I know where I'm going.

  259. Then let's break down these responses, verse 19, the seed

  260. that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the

  261. message about what the kingdom. You know, that there's only one

  262. real message that the enemies after the enemy is okay, with

  263. you hearing messages as long as they have nothing to do with the

  264. kingdom. In fact, you'll flood you with

  265. messages that have nothing. To do with the kingdom to make

  266. you feel like you've accomplished something acquired,

  267. something been somewhere, done that and at the end of the day,

  268. you're just as empty as you were before you sat through the talk

  269. before you play it the podcast before you watch the Youtube

  270. video, he will send them to you. You know that little sidebar on

  271. the right at YouTube that says he a lot of that stuff, says

  272. content. It's not Kingdom related.

  273. There's no power in it. No, but there is one message

  274. he's after and it says that he comes immediately to snatch away

  275. the message about the kingdom, but it still says this, the evil

  276. one comes and this is the seed on the Wayside.

  277. The evil one comes and snatches away.

  278. The seed that was planted, it could be easy to think that the

  279. seed ended up on the Wayside because of carelessness of the

  280. sower. But that's not what it says.

  281. It still says it was planted in their hearts and ended up on the

  282. Wayside because the receiver failed to honor it properly.

  283. See, when we get up here and hold this mic, we're casting

  284. seed, and we're not carelessly recklessly just throwing seed

  285. around, hoping that it lands somewhere.

  286. We are sowing seed on soil. It's your response that

  287. determines is this good soil. Wayside soil just gravel, just

  288. remaining on the surface, has nothing to do with the sower.

  289. It really ought to be called the parable of the soil.

  290. Because there's nothing wrong with the sea and there's nothing

  291. wrong with the solar. It's the soil.

  292. That determines the results. Even the Wayside stuff is.

  293. Not our problem. I'm honoring the calling the

  294. assignment that God has placed on my life to deliver the word

  295. and I hold that in high value. Hold that in high honor to be in

  296. this position. Not carelessly recklessly with

  297. with Reckless abandon just know there's intentionality there's

  298. effort. Are we challenged our church?

  299. Do you give as much effort to receive the word as I give to

  300. deliver the word, huh? What do you think I'm doing on

  301. the way to church in the morning?

  302. What do you think? I'm listening to in the car on

  303. the way to church in the morning?

  304. What do you think playing in my truck as I'm driving to the

  305. church? What do you think?

  306. I'm in be from before I delivered the word.

  307. This is Kingdom rise, right? Alright, didn't like that one.

  308. Let's try another one. Okay.

  309. This is the seat on the wayside. It remains surface.

  310. But yet, it was still planted sown in the heart.

  311. Let's not remove that aspect that's in there.

  312. The seed on the rocky soil. Verse 20 represents those who

  313. hear the message again, we heard it.

  314. This one we add a little more to it and immediately receives it

  315. with joy. Everyone say receive it

  316. immediately receive it. So that means we have now two

  317. different accounts, one that as it's being ministered it's just

  318. fallen on the Wayside. It's not taken in.

  319. It's not received with joy. There's no value.

  320. There's no attention. You're scrolling Facebook,

  321. falling asleep, getting up and moving around going to bathroom

  322. 10 times. I'm just not name them all, I

  323. just identify at all. All its Kingdom rise.

  324. Okay, that's the Wayside stuff got you just wasted an hour and

  325. a half of your time and if you're a taker, fake church and

  326. st. Augustine is probably two and a

  327. half hours, Tom's different down here on the coast.

  328. Ha ha, ha. You just wasted time.

  329. But now we've got those that immediately receive it.

  330. Everyone say receive, receive it with joy.

  331. What a powerful word passed the bar.

  332. Oh man, that's awesome. That's exciting.

  333. Oh, I get that. Oh, I see that.

  334. Oh, that's great. And there's a receptivity to it

  335. now. That's great.

  336. That's a step above. Just casually being in here.

  337. Not even receiving the word, but it still says, but they don't

  338. have deep roots. They don't last long apparently.

  339. That's not even good enough. filling the notebook but living

  340. an empty life highlighting the verse but not applying the verse

  341. Y'all with me, we good. I've got to go a little further.

  342. I'm not the one thumbing through Facebook while Pastor marks

  343. preaching, while Pastor Earl's delivering the word, but I'm a

  344. men and I'm writing it down. I'm highlighting it but I don't

  345. have it routed in me. How do we get there?

  346. Okay, that's the second occurrence.

  347. It says that they fall away as soon as they have problems and

  348. are persecuted. And so guys, some, some of us

  349. don't make it to the parking lot before we Face a problem or

  350. persecution. We got two arms lifted in here.

  351. Pastor Marcus is dripping all over this place.

  352. Worship teams doing amazing job but we get to the car and we're

  353. reminded of the bill reminded of the circumstance, reminded of

  354. the sickness reminded of the report reminded of the issue.

  355. The enemies coming immediately. I'll tell you what, if you don't

  356. honor the word, the devil, does he orders it in the sense that

  357. he values? What it can produce in your life

  358. if you get a hold of it and he'll go after it?

  359. Okay? But they don't have Deep Roots.

  360. Verse 22, the seed that fell among the Thorns represents.

  361. Those who hear everyone? Say, hear God's word.

  362. So, this is the third occurrence now, but all too quickly, the

  363. message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the

  364. lure of wealth. And no fruit is produced.

  365. In this occurrence as well. In the new King James, it

  366. doesn't have it here listed in the new living, but it says the

  367. same statement received it with joy.

  368. Once again, these are the individuals sitting in the

  369. service. Raising their hands worshipping

  370. God, taking the notes highlighting the versus

  371. receiving it with joy, as it's being delivered.

  372. Now if the enemy can't get you with persecutions and problems

  373. then he'll get you with the deceitfulness of riches and the

  374. busyness of life. You know what busyness is Right?

  375. Busyness is artificial. Significance, busyness is

  376. counterfeit purpose. It feels like purpose but it's

  377. not greatest tragedy in life. Being busy and not effective.

  378. So if he gets artificial, what I say artificial.

  379. Significance. Counterfeit purpose.

  380. Artificial significance. Feels like it.

  381. Even kind of little looks like it when you get to the root of

  382. it. It's worth nothing.

  383. Counterfeit dollar bill is worth nothing but it's got a feel and

  384. look it tries to replicate as much as it can but at the end of

  385. the has no value whatsoever. And so if he can't get you with

  386. circumstances, challenges managers rebuking the devil.

  387. No weapon formed against me, shall prosper dunna.

  388. I overcome imma conquer that. What he will do is to make you

  389. so busy, and so does seated by the loser of wealth, and the

  390. loser of acquiring things and loser of the world.

  391. We see it all the time popularity.

  392. Look, where are we are a sports household.

  393. Baseball is. We love it.

  394. I've passed that on. 21 at least one will see.

  395. Austin seems to be taking well to it as well, sit down and

  396. watch this baseball game, right? Let me tell you exactly how to

  397. double play. But it's not King.

  398. And we started this whole travel ball deal and you know, travel

  399. balls on the weekends while I work on the weekends.

  400. And I know it's not an option. We've told Camden, from day one,

  401. you will not play in any two-day tournaments.

  402. It's not happening. You're not going to miss church

  403. to be playing baseball. Now Saturday May we're out

  404. there. I mean, all day we got home, it

  405. was one time. We got home at 2:30 in the

  406. morning, we got there at 8:30 in the morning, left the house at

  407. 6:30 that mornings. It was two hours away.

  408. Play till we was playing. He was on the field at 12:45

  409. a.m. on the field. Came in second.

  410. Got home. Guess what?

  411. I was doing the next morning. Guess what we were doing the

  412. next morning we're in church? I know what, I'm know what I'm

  413. doing. But it's not going to compromise

  414. my call. I'm not going to get the kingdom

  415. gets gets reduced in our life as we accumulate more things in our

  416. lives where we're going to look at with the Rich Young Ruler,

  417. the more. He had the harder it was for him

  418. to gain the kingdom. He had too much to gain.

  419. Okay, so now we have this luer of wealth.

  420. We have this cares of the world, the busyness of life, look at

  421. this in the passion translation, let's just read through this and

  422. break it down. Verse 18.

  423. Now you are ready? Everyone say I'm ready now.

  424. You are ready to hear the explanation of the parable of

  425. the sower. What was sown along the path?

  426. Represents the one who listens to the message of the Kingdom,

  427. but doesn't understand it. The adversary then comes and

  428. snatches away. What was sown into?

  429. Oh, his heart. Verse 20 says the one stone on

  430. gravel represents the person who gladly here's the kingdom

  431. message but his experience remains shallow shortly after he

  432. hears it troubles and persecutions.

  433. Come because of the Kingdom message.

  434. He received everyone say received, then, he quickly Falls

  435. away for the truth. Didn't sink.

  436. Deeply into his heart. The ones sown among Thorns

  437. represents one, who receives everyone?

  438. A receives the message but all of life's busy distractions, his

  439. divided heart, here it is, his ambition for wealth result, in

  440. suffocating the kingdom message and it becomes fruit.

  441. Oh, this is so good. Oh my goodness.

  442. But what was sown on? Good rich.

  443. Soil represents the one who hears?

  444. And here it is. Fully Embraces.

  445. Everyone say, fully Embraces the mess.

  446. Sajjad of the Kingdom. Their lives bear.

  447. Good fruit. Some yield a harvest of 30 60,

  448. even 100 times as much as what was sown.

  449. Let's look at this in the Amplified, the Amplified.

  450. Listen to the meaning of the parable of the sower, while

  451. anyone is hearing the word of the kingdom and does not grasp

  452. and comprehend it. The evil one comes and snatches

  453. away. What was sown in his heart.

  454. This is what was sown along the roadside as for what was sown on

  455. thin rocky soil. This is he, who hears the word

  456. and at Once welcomes and accepts it with joy.

  457. Yet it has no real root in him but his temporary look at these

  458. words, temporary inconstant lasts but a little while and

  459. when Affliction or trouble or persecution comes on account of

  460. the word at once, he has caused to stumble, he is repelled and

  461. begins to distrust and desert him.

  462. Whom he ought to trust and Obey and he falls away.

  463. How is so good verse 22, as for what was sown among Thorns?

  464. This Is he who hears the word but the cares of the world, the

  465. pleasure and Delight in Glamour and deceitfulness of riches

  466. choke and suffocate the word. And it yields no fruit, what was

  467. sown on good soil. This is he who hears the word

  468. grasp and comprehend it? He indeed, bears fruit and

  469. yields in one case a hundred times as much as what was sown

  470. in another 60 times and another 30.

  471. This is the key. This is the what Is what I want

  472. you to get a word received without a proper response, will

  473. fail to yield the desired result.

  474. I'll say it again a word received without a proper

  475. response, will fail to yield the desired result.

  476. Oh, word received without a proper response, a better

  477. response. Going to church not enough.

  478. Going to church and being checked out, not enough, going

  479. to church and thumbing through things being distracted, not

  480. enough going to church receiving it with joy.

  481. Shouting. Amen, still not enough jerking

  482. and jiggling, his Pastor Ronnie said not enough being moved

  483. emotionally in the presence. Not enough, guys.

  484. We need to get to a point where we value the word over presents

  485. because his word can do far more for you than the presence.

  486. Can I'm thankful for the presence of God, but there was a

  487. Roman Centurion who had the greatest faith of all this.

  488. That I don't need your presence in the room.

  489. I need your word. If you'll send your word, you'll

  490. heal him and deliver him from all his diseases just speak on.

  491. A word only and my servant will be healed.

  492. Because you can't take Pastor Marcus in the worship, team with

  493. you. You can't take us with you.

  494. If you're always requiring, an external measure to make an

  495. impact on your life, you live at the mercy of the external.

  496. It's about internalizing this, it's about getting it.

  497. Deeply rooted on the inside, it's about being so confident,

  498. so assured, nothing can move me, nothing can shake me.

  499. Nothing can cause me to doubt or disbelieve what the word has to

  500. say. Become like an Israelite

  501. wandering through the Wilderness, living from Miracle

  502. to Miracle, but never gaining the heart of the father.

  503. Miracles have their place, but Miracles should always point you

  504. back to the word and to the heart of the father.

  505. Hopefully, we'll see that here in a minute.

  506. A word received. Without a proper response, will

  507. fail to yield the desired result, Revelation demands, both

  508. reception and responsiveness. I'll say that again, Revelation

  509. demands both reception and responsiveness.

  510. I pray this over our church, I started doing this.

  511. I don't know, it's probably been at least two or three years.

  512. I pray this over our church every single time.

  513. I Minister father, I pray that we have Minds that are receptive

  514. and hearts that are responsive I pray that we have Minds that are

  515. receptive to receive the word but receiving the word without

  516. responding to the word. Will still leave me fruitless.

  517. Still need me is a mystery. Mysteries are discovered not by

  518. information, but by revelation. I gave you my testimony

  519. yesterday of when the kingdom message first came and I was

  520. relying on information. I was reading the books.

  521. I was listening to The Minister's, but I was trying to

  522. be informed of the Kingdom rather than having the kingdom

  523. revealed. There's only one way that he

  524. will bring the kingdom. It's through Revelation, it's

  525. the only way and Revelation demands both receiving and

  526. responding. There's a better response.

  527. Everyone say there's a better response.

  528. There's a better response. Mark chapter 4, this is the

    Mark 4 chapter mention

  529. parable of the sower in marks account.

  530. That my account, there's another Mart.

  531. Mark chapter 4. and in wrapping it up, Jesus says this in verse

    Mark 4 chapter mention

  532. 24, Verse 24 and he said to them, pay attention.

  533. Everyone say, pay attention, pay attention to what you hear.

  534. This is what he says, by the measure, you use it.

  535. See we thought hearing was a passive word.

  536. Hearing is in Jesus's context is an active word.

  537. That what I hear should be put to use, pay attention.

  538. The measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

  539. I wonder how many Believers are expecting more in return than

  540. what they have put in. You know, we heard that

  541. statement or too poor to pay, attention, pay, pay, pay

  542. attention, what's that? There's a cost involved.

  543. Be leery of a gospel that doesn't cost you anything, be

  544. leery of a gospel. That is a require, anything of

  545. you be skeptical cautious, apprehensive of a gospel.

  546. That doesn't demand anything from you that freely gives you

  547. everything with. You just do whatever you want.

  548. It's covered it grace and mercy and love, know the love Demands.

  549. A response Grace, the man's our response.

  550. Mercy demands a response. I live from Even now I don't

  551. live from the earth anymore. Pay attention, there's a cost

  552. involved. Gospel cost, always determines

  553. value. You don't pay for what you don't

  554. value. And Jesus is saying, I'm not

  555. bringing my valuable word. My valuable Kingdom down to your

  556. level of cost. You're going to pay the cost.

  557. There's a high price but it's worth it.

  558. It's worth it. Pay attention to what you hear,

  559. by the measure, you use it, not hear it, not receive it by the

  560. measure, you respond to it. That's what you'll get in return

  561. too. Many of us are wondering why

  562. we're not seeing signs demonstrations wonders.

  563. Because I've heard the word and I know the word and I believe

  564. the word, but if the Leaving isn't producing action,

  565. associated with it, faith and obedience walk together.

  566. We heard that yesterday. Then you don't really value it.

  567. It's not costing you anything. The Amplified says be careful

  568. what you are hearing the measure of here.

  569. It is thought in study. You what?

  570. Give We thought hearing the word, was what it was about.

  571. What I get. I'm coming to church to get

  572. alert. Everybody wants to get a word.

  573. What are you gonna give in response?

  574. You know, a prophetic word, doesn't do anything in your life

  575. if you don't obey the word given Why are we demanding the word to

  576. produce results in our life when we're not responding

  577. appropriately? It provides power, it provides

  578. life. But what I do with that life and

  579. what I do with that power is what determines the results?

  580. What I do with the word determines, what the word will

  581. do for me, what I do with the word determines, what the word

  582. will do for me. A better response.

  583. Well, at least I'm going to church but you're distracted.

  584. Well at least I'm raising my hands and worshiping but what is

  585. the response out of here? How Deeply rooted is the word in

  586. you? How much do you value?

  587. What's the price that you pay? Because here's the thing guys if

  588. it doesn't cost you anything then it's not worth anything.

  589. If it doesn't cost anything from you, then it's not worth

  590. anything to you. I think it was Willie George

  591. back in the 80s. He used to travel, he pastor

  592. church on the moves, he's handed the church off to his son.

  593. Now back in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but he used to travel and teach

  594. churches how to do a children's ministry because that was his

  595. vein. That was his second.

  596. He had the Gospel Bill show and and all that, you know, and he

  597. would travel and he said he used to do them for free and couldn't

  598. get anybody to come out. This is a free thing.

  599. We're just just come out. Nobody would come.

  600. He said he started church and charging. $25. and because

  601. people paid for something, they valued it and they came and not

  602. interesting. but the first year, the first year that we were here

  603. in 2004, The my first weekend here, I moved here.

  604. July 4th weekend is like July 1st, July 2nd, drove all the way

  605. from Texas came out here, we're not going to talk about all the

  606. details and we can leave that in that's BC days.

  607. We did a, we handed out water bottles at the fort on July 4th

  608. with the fireworks. Go off here in St.

  609. Augustine you'd be amazed at how hard it is to hand out a cold

  610. bottle of water on a blistering July 4th afternoon.

  611. People are just like, you know, they're like, what do you want?

  612. We're just giving you water. And here's a little piece of

  613. paper about a perfect church. That's all we're doing.

  614. They'd rather pay four dollars over here.

  615. The little vendor. Because you don't, you don't

  616. want a free. That there are things that are

  617. freely given to us, that are made a gift to us.

  618. But there's got to be a cost involved, there's got to be an

  619. effort involved. There's got to be intentionality

  620. involved. Y'all getting something.

  621. He goes on down Matthew Chapter 13.

    Matthew 13 chapter mention

  622. Remember this? Is the parable that explains all

  623. the other Parables. If you don't understand this

  624. one, you won't grasp the other ones, he jumps down to verse 44,

  625. Heavens Kingdom in the passion translation, Heavens Kingdom

  626. realm can be Illustrated like this.

  627. The person discovered that there was hidden treasure in a field.

  628. Upon finding it. He hit it again.

  629. What? I'm telling you the kingdom will

  630. flip everything on its head. He hid the treasure again.

  631. Now, watch the following actions.

  632. He discovered there was a hidden treasure in a field upon finding

  633. it. He hit it again because of

  634. uncovering, such treasure. He was overjoyed.

  635. But notice that being Overjoyed about the treasure doesn't

  636. happen. Help him gain the treasure.

  637. He was overjoyed, then sold. All everyone say, all that word

  638. in the Greek, the word. All It means all.

  639. All right, that one fell a little flat.

  640. Sold all that he possessed, all that, he possessed, all that.

  641. He had to buy the entire, not just the treasure the entire

  642. field. Just so he could have the

  643. treasure verse 45 Heavens Kingdom realm is also like a

  644. jewel Merchant in search of rare pearls.

  645. When he discovered one very precious and exquisite Pearl, he

  646. immediately gave up all ass that same word, all that he had in

  647. exchange for it. When you come in this room on a

  648. Sunday, on a Wednesday in a conference, whenever there's an

  649. exchange taking place. What am I laying down?

  650. Not just. What am I taking up?

  651. The kingdom is not something you add to.

  652. It's something that replaces something I had before.

  653. And so the Rich Young Ruler without getting into it.

  654. He was looking to add something to his profile.

  655. I love how you put that looking to add to.

  656. He remember, he's a rich young ruler.

  657. He's got a lot of wealth, he's of young age.

  658. Got a whole life in front of him and he's a ruler.

  659. He's a man of influence. What else does he need?

  660. And so Jesus says well, you know the Commandments and I love the

  661. statement and Pastor Daryl pointed out.

  662. I have kept all these things from my youth, think the

  663. Amplified reads, I have I have something along the lines of.

  664. I have not violated these commands.

  665. What's he resting on? What's he putting his wealth it?

  666. What's he putting his trust in my ability?

  667. He's building his own kingdom. The Jesus Kingdom looks

  668. attractive to him. And so Jesus says, okay, are you

  669. willing to burn down your kingdom to gain my kingdom?

  670. I have kept, he was really good at getting and he was really

  671. good at keeping. I've kept, I've kept, I've kept

  672. and I value, keeping over laying down to gain something else.

  673. Just go ahead and turn their Mark chapter 10 and throw it on

    Mark 10 chapter mention

  674. the screen because I need to point out a couple things.

  675. Verse 20. He said to him, teacher, I have

  676. kept all these things and, you know, that he's good at gaining

  677. because he has, he's a Rich Young Ruler, he's gained

  678. something in life. And Jesus looks at him and says

  679. you lack one thing and I had that in my notes, just as Pastor

  680. Daryl said, man, we were right on man.

  681. It was just, you didn't just lack one thing, but you lacked

  682. the most important thing. because you lacking this thing

  683. is the reason why you're lacking everything else in your life,

  684. There's a priority issue. The sound familiar.

  685. Matthew chapter 6, c key. What do you think that there's

    Matthew 6 chapter mention

  686. other seeking that supposed to take place after you seek the

  687. kingdom? No, it's not seek first and then

  688. seek everything else seek first, and you'll find that seeking

  689. this will replace all the other seeking you ever have to do in

  690. your life. You lack one thing up.

  691. There's a lot of things you like, but if you fix this one

  692. it'll fix all these two its priority.

  693. Jesus loved him. I loved that.

  694. They left that in there. They were loving words.

  695. These are not rebuking words. These are not condemning words,

  696. it might be challenging, But where there's no confrontation.

  697. There's no growth. Well, there's no challenge,

  698. there's no growth. We said it yesterday you can

  699. have comfort or you can have growth, but you cannot have

  700. both. The kingdom will disrupt.

  701. The kingdom will challenge, the kingdom will confront my way.

  702. My will, the self will be obstinate the in my position to

  703. selfishly ambitious. I mean, it's all this stuff

  704. starts rising to the surface only because Jesus knows what I

  705. have to give you a return far. Outweighs what you're holding on

  706. to. It's a matter of value, it's a

  707. matter of Honor. In verse 22.

  708. It says he was dismayed by this demand and went away grieving.

  709. Why? Because he had many possessions

  710. Jesus goes on and he relates this to entering the kingdom

  711. because in verse 23 he looked around and he said to his

  712. disciples how hard it is. For those who have wealth to

  713. here, it is, enter the kingdom. That's what got us started on

  714. this whole thing in John chapter 3.

    John 3 chapter mention

  715. Unless you're born again, you cannot see or enter the kingdom.

  716. Why are we coming to church? Feeling notebooks, highlighting,

  717. Bibles listening to podcast accumulating.

  718. All this is because we have been more interested in what we gain

  719. than what we give. Be leery of a kingdom that

  720. doesn't require anything of you. He goes on, he talks to his

  721. disciples, his disciples say, you know, my goodness if he

  722. can't get in the Kingdom. Now there's no hope for any of

  723. us. Poor broke little fisherman.

  724. He says, I'm not talking about natural will I'm talking about

  725. what you deem valuable in verse 28, Peters tells him.

  726. Look I could just see Peter like hey whoa, we left everything and

  727. followed you That's not us. That's him.

  728. We've left it all, man. You said come follow me.

  729. I'll make you Fishers of Men. We put down the net.

  730. I came followed you. We left home, we left, follow,

  731. we left mother, we left Comfort. We left familiarity with

  732. everything. We knew we left our jobs.

  733. We left it all. They were here.

  734. We're here. In the Amplified, verse 23, Mark

    Mark 10:23

  735. 10 verse 23, Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, with

  736. what difficulty, all those who possess wealth, and keep on

  737. holding it. I received it with joy, but I

  738. kept holding. There's a better response.

  739. Receiving a word and failing to respond to it.

  740. Will still not produce the desired result.

  741. What's the proper response? Josh and I we've been talking

  742. Josh clay back there, we've been talking.

  743. Like I said, last several days, I'm going to give him credit on

  744. one, we shoot each other a little little text and things

  745. I'll give him credit on one. He said this.

  746. How do you know if someone has the kingdom when they have

  747. nothing left but the kingdom The mystery.

  748. Hidden. Hidden.

  749. Not from you. But for you, how do you know

  750. when someone has the kingdom when they have nothing left but

  751. the kingdom Matthew 6:33 in the Amplified reads this way but

    Matthew 6:33

  752. seek a mat and strive after a love that.

  753. First of all, his kingdom and his righteousness, his way of

  754. doing and being, right? We talked about yielded -

  755. yesterday. We talked about obedience

  756. yesterday, we talked about the posture of the heart yesterday

  757. and then what all these things taken together will be giving

  758. you besides, notice what you gain in response to giving up.

  759. God never asked for you to give at your deficiency.

  760. He always asks you to give so that you can gain Colossians

    Colossians 3 chapter mention

  761. chapter 3. Colossians chapter 3 and verse

    Colossians 3 chapter mention

  762. 1. I'm going to read this in the

  763. Amplified, we'll just go straight to the Amplified you

  764. know if you were raised with Christ seek those things which

  765. are above, let's read it in the Amplified verse 1.

  766. If then you have been raised with Christ, notice that raising

  767. with Christ's Kingdom rise but there is following action

  768. required. If then you have been raised

  769. with Christ meaning since you it's that that word.

  770. If is actually defined since since you have been Is with

  771. Christ. Here's the appropriate response.

  772. Since you have been raised with Christ to a new life, thus

  773. sharing his resurrection from the dead.

  774. Here it is again, a mat and seek the rich Eternal, what is what

  775. we're talking about. The treasure in the field, The

  776. Mystery of the Kingdom, the hidden thing.

  777. No one takes treasures and just leaves it, laying around, and

  778. commonplaces your word. Have I hid in my heart that I

  779. might not what The appropriate response.

  780. I don't get the response of not sinning until I value and hide

  781. the word, treasure the word value.

  782. The word honor, the word The rich Eternal Treasures that are

  783. above where Christ is seated at the right hand of the father

  784. verse 2 and set your minds and here it is.

  785. Keep them said, I don't know how many times I've heard someone

  786. minister at Kingdom message come back a year later, and it's

  787. absent, you can. It's evident, it's not there,

  788. it's not it's not least, they're not lacing the kingdom.

  789. To every weaving, the kingdom intertwine in the kingdom, and

  790. every element, the way that it ought to be, you can tell the

  791. difference. it's because they set their mind but they didn't

  792. stay said, there's a there's another action involved here,

  793. set your minds and keep them set on what is above, which tells me

  794. that there is something trying to get me to get my mind off of

  795. the things that I once, had them set on, whether it be the

  796. persecutions of the trials of life, Or whether it be the

  797. busyness and distractions of life.

  798. Set your minds and keep them set on what is above the higher
