Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast
-
from st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now, enjoy this message. So that y'all can come back up
-
because I just believe we're going to minister some more to
-
the Lord. Amen.
-
So you can be seated for a minute and let me read a couple
-
of scriptures. This morning.
-
Hallelujah. Concerning prayer.
-
Amen. So we started off by talking
-
about the fact that there's positions of our heart that we
-
need to be in. When we come into a place of
-
prayer, one of those was Faith. Amen.
-
At the bid first day, we talked about position ourselves with
-
faith. Next, we talked about the fact
-
that the holy spirit. Amen.
-
How A full supply for whatever we need, right, whatever we
-
need. And so yesterday we talked
-
about, you know, how important it is for us to yield to the
-
Holy Spirit, as we're in times of prayer, praying out in the
-
spirit, his perfect will having a spirit to be able to see and
-
hear what the spirit is saying eyes to see inside your spirit,
-
you know, we've given Some examples about that, you know,
-
what? A lot of times when you're
-
praying in the spirit, you'll just see a picture of something.
-
You know, could have a, you can see, you'll see a picture of
-
something. Amen.
-
And that's something that God is trying to reveal to you show you
-
and give you Direction in into praying.
-
Amen. But this morning, I want to talk
-
about because I believe that we've had such a great Just
-
download of impartation this week about the fact of
-
Thanksgiving because Thanksgiving is connected to our
-
prayers. He says, when you come into
-
prayer with Thanksgiving with Thanksgiving, right?
-
So being thankful for everything that God has shown you given to
-
you right revealed to, you just having a thankful heart is so
-
important. Because if you're not thankful
-
for what God has done for you, then why do you expect anything
-
else from him, right? If you're not grateful, if
-
you're not thankful for all that, he the fact that we just
-
have been able to be chosen by him to participate with him in
-
his kingdom. Come on.
-
If that's all there was to it. That's enough to be thankful
-
for. You've been what delivered from
-
the tyrannical ruler of Satan. Come on in the kingdom of
-
darkness, and we're just honored, and privileged to be
-
able to walk into the kingdom of his beloved Son and his light,
-
amen. So always remaining with a
-
thankful heart, and a grateful heart is so important when we
-
come to prayer and we've been given such great impartation
-
this week, haven't we? I mean, just a come on.
-
Have you not received anything? This week.
-
Amen. And so being thankful for it.
-
Amen, that's way. That's one way you're going to
-
guard. Your heart is having a thankful
-
heart and guarding and honoring the word that's been deposited
-
within. You is to keep your heart in a
-
position of thankfulness and gratitude that you've been able
-
to receive the engrafted word of God, which is able to save.
-
If your soul, amen. Hallelujah.
-
But this morning, I think because of thankfulness and
-
stuff, you know, we can talk about a prayer of worship, okay?
-
We've talked about praying in the spirit, but I want to read
-
1st Corinthians 14 13 through 15 again because it's in connection
-
with prayer. Where it says that.
-
So if anyone speaks in a tongue should pray, also for the
-
ability to interpret what he has what has been said.
-
Remember we said we can interpret what we're praying out
-
in the spirit, okay? It says, for, I pray in tongues,
-
my spirit is, when I pray in tongues, my spirit is pray, but
-
I don't understand what I'm saying.
-
Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit and
-
then I will pray. Also in words that I understand.
-
Well, look at this. I will sing in the spirit.
-
I'll sing in the spirit and I will also sing and words, I
-
understand. So in times of prayer, there are
-
times that you will begin to and should have times of worship or
-
singing unto the Lord. Okay, and it's a type of
-
ministry unto him and a Ministry unto you.
-
Now look over in Colossians, 3, Colossians 3:16.
-
Wow, this is good. It says, let the word of Christ
-
dwell in you richly richly. That means you're going to allow
-
the word of God that you've received this.
-
This week. Come on richly, dwell within
-
you. There's that Riches of his word
-
that's dwelling within you. One way, this were Rich means is
-
fullness or an abundance, let his word have fullness or
-
abundance within you. Come on in all wisdom.
-
Didn't we pray out of Ephesians earlier chapter one this week
-
that what that we would have a spirit of wisdom and revelation
-
Shin in this conference, right? So it in all wisdom, teaching,
-
we've received some great teaching this week.
-
Admonishing one another, here we go in Psalms, hymns.
-
And spiritual songs singing with Grace in our hearts, to the
-
Lord. So worship is a huge part.
-
Singing unto the Lord we know worship is Actually just to bow
-
down and submit. It actually means to submit
-
right? But so, but but we've termed
-
singing worship, okay? But as we begin to sing unto the
-
Lord or Minister unto him, which is a better terminology, and
-
we're going to see the scripture even says that when we come into
-
times of prayer there, is that time that can continue to bring
-
The things that we need in those times of prayer, because you can
-
begin to minister to the Lord and seeing the spirit, a
-
spiritual song that he gives you that he bring healing to your
-
body. Come on, that can bring a word
-
for you for months and weeks. If he gives you a song in your
-
spirit, it's what you don't need.
-
Actually a word from the Bible. At that moment.
-
You need a song that's going to stay in your heart.
-
Art that you can begin to just as you do, meditate on the word,
-
but you can begin to meditate on that spiritual song that he
-
revealed to you which is an answer that you need.
-
Come on to stand on. Because it came from the spirit,
-
you see that? So it's very important that we
-
recognize that were our ministry or singing unto the Lord is part
-
of prayer. Okay, we know this, we heard
-
them talk about Acts chapter 16 this week with Paul and Silas,
Acts 16 chapter mention
-
which is a perfect example. Paul and Silas how many of your
-
you know, we go into prayer, sometimes I need Deliverance, I
-
need you to give me a word. Lord, I need you to do this.
-
I need this to happen, but maybe what you need to do is walk up
-
in your room and begin to just worship Him.
-
Praise Him. Sing unto him Minister unto him
-
in a spiritual song, or by the spirit and your answer is going
-
to be found there. Okay, your answer will be found
-
there, just like Paul and Silas. What did they do?
-
You see this prayed and sang? Praises connected, they pray and
-
sing praises. It's connected.
-
Amen. So why do I always when we do
-
corporate prayer, I always give opportunity to do that because
-
it's what practice it is. Teaching you.
-
How to sometimes, you can be locked up, you can be in your
-
prayer time, you can be locked up your reader.
-
The word come on. You've been meditating on the
-
word, Lord, I need to hear something, but what you need to
-
do is just let us song come up out of your spirit and begin to
-
release that. And that's where your answer and
-
freedom is going to flow and your deliverance just like, Paul
-
and Silas, were they not delivered?
-
Because they prayed and sang praises and deliverance came.
-
You see that prayed and sang Praises unto God, and the
-
prisoners heard, they heard him. So you shouldn't be timid,
-
right? That's why we have prayer times
-
of teaching on prayer. So that then you can practice it
-
so that, you know how to flow in it.
-
So that anywhere Or at any time you can begin to tap into it
-
because you've learned how to do it and you should be okay to do
-
it when it's time to see Praises unto God, you ought to be able
-
to open up your mouth and see come to him.
-
It doesn't matter how you sound, right?
-
Just begin to practice it and release it, so that it becomes
-
naturally Supernatural in your life.
-
Right. Naturally Supernatural.
-
If you're uncomfortable, still that, you're still not, come on
-
naturally. Okay, with the supernatural.
-
And there's so many people that are still not okay, with the
-
supernatural. Because they've not Got beyond
-
the natural and into the Supernatural and they're not
-
comfortable with. But this should just be a part
-
of our everyday life that should be part of our everyday life.
-
You should be able to seek unto him in Assam.
-
And him and spiritual song. Spiritual song is you just
-
making up something of Melody in your own heart, in your own
-
heart? You don't you shouldn't have to
-
have words all the time. But on a screen for you to sing,
-
see that you should be able to just let us all come up out of
-
your arm, whatever it may be. It's just do you and the Lord.
-
Amen. Don't matter how it sounds.
-
Well, I can't think. Well, he said just make a Joyful
-
Noise, right? And everything.
-
Let me tell you something. It is joyful to our father to
-
hear you. Sing unto him.
-
Now, so Ephesians. Here's another good scripture.
-
Ephesians chapter 5 18 through 20, do not be drunk with, why,
Ephesians 5 chapter mention
-
you know, I was at a we were at a Minister's thing down south
-
just recently in Naples and we went to a restaurant well over
-
on the other side of where we were eating, it's the same
-
restaurant, but they, of course had Add a bar set up.
-
Well, they had an outdoor, you know, somebody plating or
-
whatever live music, but then, all of a sudden, we started
-
hearing people singing. Well, they had a karaoke thing.
-
It was a karaoke life. Well, they had some Spirits in
-
and they sure weren't shy to get up there without karaoke machine
-
and start wailing out in the middle of the public.
-
Come on, outside, for everybody to hear how much for if we're
-
full of the spirit of the Living, God should we be okay
-
with? Come on singing.
-
Heart Of The Hill, maybe, because I can tell you one
-
thing. If Paul and Silas had not
-
praised, then the change cooking a shucks.
-
They prayed. Come on so but they needed pray
-
to shake the chains off. Come on.
-
And they weren't as ashamed of it.
-
Why do I know they weren't ashamed to seeing out loud?
-
So loud? It's that the prisoners heard
-
them. They all heard him.
-
Now, we know what Paul was and them where they were down down,
-
deep it. That what we heard?
-
And the bottom where all the feces is and the urine is they
-
were at the bottom of the pit of the prison.
-
So they were singing so loud that the other prisoners could
-
hear them. Come on.
-
So let me read Ephesians it says don't be drunk with wine.
-
I was sidetracked with all the drunkenness that happen even in
-
people's lives at the church. Anyway, it says because that
-
will what ruin your life instead?
-
What we filled with the spirit, so guess what?
-
The antidote for you? Be drunk with wine and liquor,
-
it's the Holy Spirit. So he said what first 19?
-
But be filled with the Holy Spirit singing, Psalms hymns and
-
spiritual songs among yourselves and making music to the Lord.
-
In your heart, you're making using to the Lord, in your
-
hearts and give. Thanks, there's the thing.
-
And give, thanks to God, the father in the name of our Lord
-
Jesus Christ. ISO worshiping him singing
-
praises unto him. Having a joyful song in your
-
heart is connected to our prayer life.
-
Now, let me read one more scripture now, because this is
-
where we get the word, really, when we sing in times of prayer.
-
And when we come into, The church and we have used it.
-
It should be considered, let's come and Minister unto the Lord,
-
not praise and worship. Let's Minister unto the Lord
-
because when we come in here we are to be lifting up his name.
-
Glorify him come on, bringing his presence into this Fleck to
-
minister to him and we bring his Fear is right for more
-
impartation. How do I know that because of
-
Acts 13 wanted for. It says, now in the church, that
-
was at Antioch, there were certain prophets and teachers
-
Barnabas Diamond that are now drop down to verse 2.
-
It says, as they were, as they were ministering to the Lord and
-
fasting, which has to do with prayer.
-
Fasting. One translation says, the holy
-
spirit said, so as they're ministering to the Lord, as they
-
are welcoming his presence into the play and they are glorifying
-
him as they are honoring him. As they are singing unto him
-
through prayer and fasting. What happened?
-
The Holy Spirit was then able to say some things.
-
I was able to say some things and what did he say now, you
-
separate to me Barnabas and Saul for the work for which I have
-
called them. Then having fasted and prayed
-
and laid hands on them. They sent them away.
-
So be sent out by the Holy Spirit.
-
They went down to this place and from there, they sailed to
-
Cyprus. Amen.
-
Hallelujah. Stand to your feet.
-
So in time, Times of prayer. You know what?
-
We did. See, the minister unto the Lord
-
Minister unto him with Psalms hymns spiritual songs singing in
-
the spirit. Praying in the spirit.
-
Come on. And, as we do that, then the
-
Holy Spirit can begin to speak because its presence is here.
-
He could begin to speak to us. He could speak to us
-
corporately. He could speak to you.
-
Individually everything. Thing that you may have need of
-
come on. He has a full Supply in the
-
spirit is found in the spirit. So this is your time to practice
-
it practice. Come on, practice, singing,
-
worshipping, ministering unto him out of your own heart.
-
Now, we're going to start off by just, let's just give it back.
-
Let's just see, come on, let's just minister to him.
-
That's if you all, you can do is pray in the spirit just say
-
thank you. Lord, we get to pray in the
-
spirit and then let me come up by the spirit and just begin to
-
To respond it. That what we learn?
-
We need to respond to the spirit.
-
Now, this is your opportunity. Come on, lift your hands.
-
Oh Father, we just backed up by you in this place.
-
We bag this. Why you in this place?
-
Oh, we give you glory in this place.
-
We all honor your holy name. O for you are worthy, you are
-
worthy father, you are worried. come on, let's start out by
-
he'll bless the Lord O my soul and all
