  1. Thanks for checking out the anchor Faith, Message podcast

  2. from st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now, enjoy this message. Our senior pastors, Pastor.

  4. Oh, Marcy are and Fort Walton at Champion Life Church.

  5. This is their last night. They're doing a kingdom rise

  6. conference. They launched it on Sunday and

  7. they're finishing it tonight. Most of our, a lot of our

  8. worship team and creative team went with them.

  9. Hallelujah. So they're having a wonderful

  10. time there. So the assignment tonight of

  11. ministering and Hallelujah want to start off just Sharing a

  12. little bit about myself. Amen.

  13. I'm course, Pastor Mike associate pastor here at anchor,

  14. Faith Church started my journey with the Lord in 1997.

  15. Hallelujah. And he is faithful.

  16. And I remember prior to 1997, you know, running the course of

  17. the world. BC before Christ, thank God for

  18. being redeemed, being brought out for him to bring us into

  19. purpose, Destiny and greatness. I remember that.

  20. I lived in Ohio, the great state of Ohio, big ten country, Glory

  21. to God, but I remember, you know, my senior high school

  22. there was actually a man, another senior that a

  23. transferred up named Steve Miller and he was actually from

  24. Florida. His dad was a Quaker State oil

  25. salesman and so he got relocated to Ohio.

  26. And I remember connecting with Steve, he was a, you know, a

  27. jock, you know, athletic like to lift course, we like to party.

  28. So we connected doing unrighteous things, amen.

  29. But he had a, this is a 1993. When I graduated high school

  30. just to date myself, I'm getting older.

  31. Praise the Lord, not that old, but I do turn 48 this year.

  32. I thought, wow, I'm going to be 15 in a couple of years.

  33. Praise the Lord. Keep on getting better with the

  34. grace of God. So anyways, you know, I ran with

  35. him and but there was some point after 1993.

  36. I can't remember the exact date maybe 95 in the 96 that he gave

  37. his life to Christ. And that was weird to me because

  38. he started talking about Jesus, which I was familiar with.

  39. I grew up in a Catholic Church, you know, but I never had a

  40. relationship with the Lord. Never read the Bible.

  41. Never knew him as it's revealed to us through the wonderful

  42. teaching a Ministry. Tanker fake church and the other

  43. Ministries I've been associated with, okay?

  44. But, you know, one thing you never gave up on me.

  45. I know there were others praying during that time, he kept on

  46. calling me finally, just to really get them off my back.

  47. You see? Perseverance Outlast

  48. persecution. So he persevered as well as led

  49. by the spirit of God and just kept on calling me.

  50. I would I had caller ID at that time, this is pre as funny as

  51. pre cell phones. Pagers were cool.

  52. You know, because doctors had them.

  53. But I remember dodging, his phone calls a lot when I see it

  54. come up on caller ID. But finally, I was like this guy

  55. won't relent he's talking to me about at the same time, I was

  56. working for Worthington, steal. My dad was a CPA or a command

  57. for control of her major steel factory up there and so I was

  58. working as a summer Tim and there was another guy named

  59. Brian, they were kind of tag-teaming me, you know.

  60. And I like Brian he was a real CIA, you know, CIA as a

  61. Christian in action. You know, it's an undercover

  62. agent with a purpose and a mission.

  63. And so I remember Brian, you know, talking to me, he knew, I

  64. like to lift weights and everything.

  65. So he start talking about herbs and different stuff that may

  66. help me in that. And all the sudden he started

  67. sneaking some scripture in there.

  68. You know, the Bible talks about different things and so between

  69. Steve and Brian. I'm getting this tag-team,

  70. right? But finally, Steve invites me to

  71. go to conference at the Columbus Convention Center.

  72. There's a minister there that was talking about the divine

  73. revelation to hell. So I literally gave my life to

  74. God because I got the hell. Owl scared out of me.

  75. That's how I came to Christ as like, I don't want to go there,

  76. right? I mean, she talked about things

  77. that she saw experienced and inhale and I was like that is

  78. not a place I want to be. So let me turn to Christ right?

  79. And then I remember Brian. Invited me to Rhema Christian

  80. Center, which if you've been around anchor Faith Church for

  81. some time if not I'll fill you in my first actual Church

  82. experience with was with Rama Christian Center with Apostle

  83. Lafayette. Scales.

  84. Which has obviously he's been here for a couple of our kingdom

  85. rise conferences and so, you know, Brian invited me there.

  86. I was able to connect a long story, short, Steve Miller and

  87. end up passing away. My first year, Bible School from

  88. cancer So thankful. That he didn't give up on me.

  89. So anyways, I was went to church 1997 sitting there, you know,

  90. and going to a Catholic Church versus a charismatic or Word of

  91. Faith. Or what we may label a

  92. Pentecostal church was way different.

  93. This is primarily a black church to.

  94. So you know Catholic Church I'm doing the water name of the

  95. father son, Holy Spirit they have lady greeters.

  96. Are there to pick you up off your feet when you walk in.

  97. And welcome you to church. Praise the Lord.

  98. You know. So you feel loved, you feel

  99. welcomed by member Apostle scales minister in the word and

  100. I remember just trying to take notes, you know, I was like

  101. where's this been my whole life? You know, I couldn't, I couldn't

  102. keep up. I remember one service being

  103. very frustrated, almost disappointed, little bit angry

  104. with my experience, prior with what I'll call religion, not

  105. knowing the truth because really the reality came I was not saved

  106. then I thought just going to church.

  107. You know, got me into heaven, you know, with that was false

  108. reality in a false narrative, you know.

  109. So you know I'm processing a lot of that but I'm bringing all

  110. this up because the church is so important.

  111. And you want to be where God sets you and I believe that God

  112. really set me at Rhema Christian Center for a season.

  113. Then, in 1998, I just knew in my heart that I needed to go.

  114. Get some further, training didn't have a visitation, from

  115. an angel, didn't get a prophetic word, just knew my spirit, that

  116. there was there was more. God was calling me to.

  117. Are right. So, my mom was listening to

  118. Kenneth Copeland lot. And Kenneth Hagin, she used to

  119. get the word of faith magazines. And obviously, they at that

  120. time, they, I think they still advertise this slogan.

  121. Maybe they've changed a little bit, but chain train up,

  122. laborers for the end time Harvest, and I just knew it was

  123. a good Ministry. Solid ministry, didn't know a

  124. ton about them knew, they loved God, knew they live by the

  125. spirit knew that had a great spirit of faith.

  126. And so in 1998, I went there to go to Bible school and thank God

  127. fall on the planet. God is wonderful.

  128. You know, the bible promises a Matthew 6:33.

    Matthew 6:33

  129. If you seek first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness,

  130. everything will be added to you. You know?

  131. So I go to Bible School in 1998, you know, that was another eye

  132. opener as you're going through, you know, four hours a day of

  133. training, five days a week and getting the the download of the

  134. word, you know, things that are like you're like wow.

  135. You know, it's like eating filet mignon, every day spiritually,

  136. you know, with a loaded baked potato and some cheesecake for

  137. dessert. Where one those bacon cupcakes?

  138. At Stacy makes. Praise the Lord.

  139. I didn't know bacon, a cupcakes went together, but it's good.

  140. Nice try. But getting that download every

  141. day man it was so rich. You know?

  142. And you know so I was there and obviously I was attending Rhema

  143. Bible Church and going to the college obviously.

  144. Thank God going through that process.

  145. The second year, you know, I really wanted to meet a spouse.

  146. At Rhema. And I almost gave up hope I'm

  147. like halfway through my second year and, you know, I said,

  148. Lord, I had this conversation myself.

  149. I'm going to go back to Columbus, Ohio and just serve

  150. Rhema Christian Center in any capacity.

  151. I could. That was my heart because as

  152. like, this may not happen at Rhema, you know, it'll be great

  153. to find a wife there. You know, because Same Spirit of

  154. Faith same teaching, you know, and you know, the Bible said he

  155. finds a good wife, wife finds a good thing, I'm seeking first,

  156. the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, so that all

  157. things to me. So I got to find a good thing

  158. according to Matthew 6633, right?

  159. So this is your promise God. So after that prayer, they'll lo

  160. and behold, once I think I Get mine heart and more of an

  161. unselfish humble attitude, you know, lo and behold my wonderful

  162. wife and Jazz able to meet her. Thank God, she's stuck with me.

  163. My first conversation with her. I knew that a man paid for

  164. dinner. So, I asked her, I said, hey, do

  165. you want to go out on a date with me?

  166. Actually, we had it, we had to do a date for one of our family

  167. classes at Rhema, it was mandated yet to take somebody of

  168. the opposite sex out. Born a male born a female.

  169. I didn't really good that not to into seals Italian restaurant.

  170. I had a white shirt on didn't spill a lick of spaghetti or

  171. spaghetti sauce on me. It's been a wreck since then but

  172. But I asked her when I asked her I said, hey, you want to go out?

  173. She said, yes, and I said, hey I'm going to wait two weeks, I

  174. don't get paid for another two weeks.

  175. She had faith in me, you know? Women.

  176. A man needs a job in order to be a husband, right?

  177. No job, no Pursuit. But she had faith in me how to

  178. see you, even though I said that to her.

  179. But so obviously, you know, we're there after we graduate in

  180. 2000, we're just seeking God and God will lead you, right?

  181. The first we prayed about things, obviously, I asked her

  182. to marry me and met right before commencement of graduation from

  183. Rhema. You know, went through all their

  184. honorable stuff faster. Dad asked her mom got all the

  185. permission or Mom. Want us to wait a year, which

  186. was fine. Right?

  187. Then after we got married. Read with prayed about what God

  188. wants to be, told to take a year, don't do anything.

  189. You know, you get out of Bible School, you kind of ready to go

  190. and we found a verse in the Old Testament said, in the first

  191. year and the Jewish custom, they took a year off, the parents

  192. actually paid for it. Wouldn't that be nice today?

  193. Hallelujah, for the merge because you know, there's a

  194. merge Hallelujah and a marriage covenant.

  195. Right. Okay.

  196. So anyways, we took that year off, but as we're praying things

  197. out, we obviously would graduate pastoral Marcy in 2000, they had

  198. came to Florida because they had in their heart.

  199. Let's do something for God. God brought them all the way

  200. back to Oklahoma to be youth pastors for Pastor David E, my

  201. Word of Life Church. So we were able to stay

  202. connected with them actually went and did one that they're

  203. young adults Ministries. I remember that we fellowship

  204. with them. They finally launched the vision

  205. for us an anchor. Church in 2004.

  206. After they got Pastor David hee, hee, hee - blessing.

  207. See when when God calls, you somewhere the senior pastor, be

  208. able to bless it. You don't be like, Nicodemus in

  209. the middle of night and leave. So Pastor David E my after

  210. Pastor showed him, the vision totem was on his heart.

  211. Gave the blessing. You know, obviously moved to

  212. Florida and I moved to Florida. Why am I bringing this all up?

  213. Because it's a good testimony, but I want to launch out there

  214. from Ephesians chapter 4. The fusions chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  215. I say that because I've only been in three churches Right?

  216. And the last 20. What is that three years?

  217. 24 years and the local body church has made a huge

  218. difference. Matter of fact, it's God

  219. ordained. And you are missing out.

  220. If you're not where God puts you And set you.

  221. Okay, before we launch out in Ephesians, chapter 4, you know,

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  222. God is the master architect, God is the master builder, the

  223. master designer and God has a plan and purpose, the Old

  224. Testament. He and, and First Corinthians

    1 Corinthians 10 chapter mention

  225. chapter 10 talks about the Old Testament Saints, they were

  226. reality, their real-life stories that happen, but he said they're

  227. written for the admonition admonition of us.

  228. Right. And so, we look at the Old

  229. Testament. We see that in Exodus.

  230. There was a nation in bondage, right?

  231. But then God said, I'm going to take that Nation out of bondage,

  232. right? So we see the deliverer Moses

  233. raised up. Exodus 1 through 19, there's 40

  234. chapters in The Book of Exodus. Exodus 1 through 19 S really

  235. historical and content about the 10 plagues and how God used

  236. Moses to go before Pharaoh for their release of his people.

  237. But then it and from Exodus 22, Exodus 40 God in his

  238. Architecture ability in his master blueprint says, I'm

  239. bringing you out. Now, say he didn't say, I'm

  240. bring you into heaven, I'm bringing you out of a place of

  241. bondage to bring you into a promised land.

  242. And if you've been with anchor, Faith Church for any period of

  243. time, you understand that salvation, let me say lordship

  244. is just not about when we get to heaven, it impacts us now and

  245. there's a stories in the Old Testament where there was a

  246. pilgrimage there was a journey. There was a purpose for these

  247. Old Testament Saints even though they're in Covenant relate for

  248. the God he said I have a plan for you in the ER Earth and I'll

  249. be with you in your journey and this is how I want you to live

  250. it out. So Exodus 20 through, 40 said,

  251. listen Moses, I don't want your opinion, I don't want your

  252. advice. Here's the blueprint and he says

  253. you've been living in a world where there's no morality,

  254. there's no worship everything you've experienced.

  255. Is not how I want you to live or live for me and you know, BC I

  256. had a life BC, it's amazing. I thank God for Washington are

  257. classical Christian school because they do memorization by

  258. song. Inseong stick with you, you

  259. know, I heard AC/DC song not too long ago at the gym.

  260. It's amazing. How you can just re-quote, that

  261. that's something I listen to BBC.

  262. I was a mess PC. My son, Jacob.

  263. I remember kind of arguing with him when he's in high school.

  264. You take on the characteristics of any music.

  265. You listen to no dad. No.

  266. Well when I was listening to rap music I wasn't wearing cowboy

  267. boots and a cowboy hat. Run DMC.

  268. That was my time right when I got into rock music, right.

  269. I wasn't wearing rap stuff some trying to settle my arguing with

  270. him. You know.

  271. You take on the characteristics of what you permit.

  272. The atmosphere you permit is what's the result of it, right?

  273. So anyways, God said you've experienced a lot BC, but I'm

  274. going to set up on this Earth how you were to live for me.

  275. So next it is 20 right off the bat.

  276. He gives a 10 commandments. He lays down a new moral law.

  277. Exodus 21 through 23 talks about a civil law.

  278. This is how you're going to interact with one another.

  279. What happens? If a sheep gets taken, what

  280. happens? If there's a kidnapping, but

  281. then exit is 25 to 40. He spends the most time on the

  282. ceremonial law. This is how you're going to

  283. worship me. We don't come to God on our own

  284. accord and say this, the Bible in the New Testament to bring it

  285. through the crosses, those that worship Him must worship me in

  286. spirit, and in truth. So God, sets the standard for

  287. the culture. Of how he wants us to live for

  288. him and there is a journey on the earth.

  289. The great thing about Exodus that we can bring into tonight

  290. is just like you had a plan for Moses and he there was Twelve

  291. Tribes and God such an organizer.

  292. If your life is a mess, he'll make it a message but he takes

  293. disorder and brings order. He takes chaos and brings

  294. Clarity. The Bible says, in Psalm says,

  295. word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

  296. Right? So he starts getting everything

  297. in order you've been living in Egypt, under pharaohs rule.

  298. What he eats. What he says, what they listen

  299. to how they talk. Now I'm bringing you out and God

  300. always brings you out. He said I'm but I'm going to

  301. bring you in God just never brings you out of Egypt to leave

  302. you in the wilderness. God brought them out to bring

  303. them into Canaan land which is a land of more than enough God

  304. called it a sweet life. It's going to be flowing with

  305. milk and honey and God's got a milk and honey life for us.

  306. John 10:10 says, I came to give you life and to give it to you

    John 10:10

  307. more. Gently, he came to give us more

  308. life. Right.

  309. But he said you got to do it by my way, by my rules, by my laws.

  310. And so he gets the 12 tribes, right?

  311. And now the 12 tribes. He said, I want three on the

  312. north three on the south, three on the East three on the west,

  313. God puts his design for what we call the Tabernacle of Moses

  314. which had an outer Court, holy place in the holies of holies

  315. and you know the tribes didn't get to decide where they Lord, I

  316. want to be on these side. No God said I'm setting you

  317. where I want you and within those Twelve Tribes you realize

  318. there was responsibilities within each tribe to perform one

  319. of those tribes of tribe of Levi.

  320. And, you know, the Levites didn't work.

  321. Their responsibility was to take care of the Tabernacle tonight,

  322. I'm going to talk to you about Ministry gifts.

  323. What is a Ministry if I just wanted to find that real quick,

  324. a Ministry gift is somebody that God has set in the body.

  325. That is not working a secular job, but a sacred job.

  326. I'm going to give you some scriptures.

  327. Go with me to 1st Corinthians 9. God.

  328. Sorry I'm this is later in my notes, but they should be able

  329. to get their first Corinthians chapter 9. now, you know, when I

    1 Corinthians 9 chapter mention

  330. grew up in religion I knew nothing about Ministry gifts,

  331. but thank God for Revelation and Truth.

  332. Amen. So, First Corinthians chapter 9,

    1 Corinthians 9 chapter mention

  333. I'm going to bring the scripture up again later, but it says, am

  334. I not an apostle? This is the Apostle Paul

  335. talking, am I not an apostle, which an apostle is one of the

  336. ministry gifts. There's five Ministry gifts,

  337. which I'll get back to Ephesians 4 shortly.

  338. But Paul said, am I not an apostle?

  339. Am I not free? Have I not seen Jesus Christ,

  340. Our Lord, are you not my work in the Lord?

  341. If I'm not Apostle to others yet doubtless, I am to you for.

  342. You are the Seal of my apostleship in the Lord, my

  343. defense to those who examine me as this.

  344. So people are saying, is Paul really an apostle.

  345. He said, do we not have a right to eat and drink?

  346. Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife as Duo as

  347. do? The other Apostles also.

  348. Like sea fish stores, only Barnabas and I who have no right

  349. to refrain from working. Whoever goes to war at his own

  350. expense, who plants a Vineyard and does not eat of its fruit.

  351. So Paul's making a case. He's saying, listen, if I plant

  352. a Vineyard, can I not even if it's fruit?

  353. Right? Or who tends A Flock is, do not

  354. drink of the milk. Now he's going to reference,

  355. this is an Old Testament, scripture verse 9, do I not say

  356. these things as a mere man. This first date or do not does

  357. not the law, say the same also. So he's referring back to Allah

  358. Moses. Verse 9 says, for as it is

  359. written in the law of Moses, you shalt not muzzle.

  360. The ox while Treads out. The grain is God is Ock as his

  361. oxen. All God is concerned about.

  362. He is referenced in the fivefold, ministry in that verse

  363. He saying those that preach the gospel live by the gospel.

  364. Go with me to Galatians chapter 6.

    Galatians 6 chapter mention

  365. Hallelujah. We're lie.

  366. When I was reading this day. Thank God for Revelation

  367. knowledge because even though I've been walking with God since

  368. 1997, we I'm still growing Pastor.

  369. Earle has this statement that all of us should make I'm going

  370. to be better five years from today than I am.

  371. Now, Hill says, I'm gonna be a better Pastor in five years from

  372. now than I am today, you should make that.

  373. I'm going to be a better wife, a better mother, a better a

  374. better, father, write a better business person, whatever it is,

  375. you should make that same confession, right life and death

  376. is where, in the power of our tongue.

  377. This is the year of raining, resonance where we are to speak

  378. into Claire's not. Oh, things are getting worse.

  379. No, I'm growing. Why did I bring all that up?

  380. Because you're growing if you're through growing your through

  381. It's what you count after, you know, everything that matters.

  382. Right, there's humility, right? We should all be pliable and

  383. teachable and continue to learn. So, I saw something in Galatians

  384. today, that really don't, I don't have my notes but this is

  385. really a role of a pastor verse. Go to Galatians chapter 6 and

    Galatians 6 chapter mention

  386. then I'm going to tie it in with First Corinthians 9 because I

  387. want to have at least two or three Witnesses from scripture

  388. that of fivefold, Minister makes their living from the gospel.

  389. All right. So I'm going to tie this

  390. together a little bit, the role of a past or though too because

  391. there's a Reconciliation that's happened in this verse it says

  392. brother and of a man has overtaken in a truss pass.

  393. What's a trespass? God, we have a sign on our

  394. property, you know? No trespassing.

  395. Which means there are, there's a boundary you're not supposed to

  396. go past that point, right? If you do guess what you

  397. violated? That law for that command and it

  398. can cost you, right? Some people got dogs, some

  399. people got guns. So don't trust pass.

  400. How much more with God though if we trust past what he said, you

  401. know, God's way is the best way. He said you know, don't commit

  402. adultery. Guess what?

  403. If you go past that line, guess what that would do?

  404. That's destruction. Why does God draw lines?

  405. For our protection because there's a purpose and there's a

  406. Destiny said, if you go past that you're going to get off

  407. course, it could cost you your life, right?

  408. So he says Brethren if a man be overtaken in a trespass, you who

  409. are spiritual restore, such a one in the spirit of gentleness

  410. considering yourself. Lest you also be tempted, carry

  411. one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

  412. If anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he

  413. deceives himself. But let each one examine his own

  414. work and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone.

  415. Not another each one should carry his own load, and then

  416. verse 6 says, it's are really saw this today in the light.

  417. This is a general principle but I saw the anointing upon a

  418. pastor to do these verses. Verse.

  419. And you know, when when it comes to hermeneutics or Bible

  420. interpretation, any text out of context, becomes a pretext You

  421. could take any verse in the Bible and twist it, distort it

  422. to try to fit anything you want to.

  423. There's a verse in the Bible that said Judas hung himself.

  424. There's another verse in the Bible says, go and do likewise,

  425. but they're not in context with one another Stream Point, but So

  426. taking that together verse 6 says, let him who is taught the

  427. word. Are you being taught the word

  428. tonight? What's that nuts?

  429. Once a share, And all good things with him.

  430. Who teaches. What's that talking about?

  431. There's giving we're going to have tithe and offering later.

  432. You that are taught the word you can share with those that are

  433. teaching you, right. How do I know?

  434. It says do not be deceived, God is Not mocked for whatever

  435. manso's that, will he read? So, there's a general principle.

  436. So in reaping, what he's talking about.

  437. You know, giving right there. Okay?

  438. For He Who sews his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption,

  439. but he was suspect will of the spirit reap everlasting life.

  440. Let us not grow. Weary in well-doing for in due

  441. season, we shall reap. You know, God's awesome.

  442. Whatever you sow, you're going to reap.

  443. If you give your tithe, he said, open up the windows of heaven

  444. and pour you out a blessing. It's not just for the ministry

  445. to go on, it's for the personal benefit of your life to God.

  446. So awesome in his planning that it enriches the vision and

  447. expands the vision, but it also blesses your personal life.

  448. Let me This, I remember listening to brother Hagin.

  449. Kenneth E Hagin, who founded the Bible school?

  450. Now Kenneth his son Kenneth W. Hagin runs it.

  451. But I remember listen about tithing often and there was a

  452. time he was ministering, they were staying at the pastor's

  453. house in the parsonage, the pastor left.

  454. He said we didn't have anything to eat.

  455. Like you're, you know, you feel like your stomach's from your

  456. backbone and he's thinking. Surely is this pastor is going

  457. to take care of me and he's going to complain.

  458. Lord, you told me to do this, we're like broke barely getting

  459. to the meetings. His wife saying you know where

  460. is God's faith when they see. You know, it's a said just stick

  461. with me. And God is faithful to his word

  462. and he said, overtime. Now God took care of them during

  463. that lean time. But then they got to the point

  464. where she had like seven mink coats decades down the road.

  465. But you know what? Money never had him.

  466. He had money but it never had him, right?

  467. So let's go to Philippians chapter 4, let's get a third

    Philippians 4 chapter mention

  468. witness on this real quick and then we'll go back to Ephesians

  469. and talk about Ministry gifts. Philippians chapter 4.

    Philippians 4 chapter mention

  470. Once Again, taking everything in context, everybody's hurt

  471. Philippians 4:13. Can you quote it with me?

    Philippians 4:13

  472. It's great. We're having choir tryouts.

  473. That was great Unity, let's all say it again.

  474. I'm just kidding with you. Philippians 4:13, the eye.

    Philippians 4:13

  475. So what's the Apostle Paul talking about that verse?

  476. Let's back up to verse 10 and c and put it in context, right?

  477. He says this started verse 10, but I rejoiced in the Lord

  478. greatly that. Now at last your care for me,

  479. has flourished again that though you surely did care but you

  480. lacked opportunity. How do they care where they

  481. sending them cards, and email text messages?

  482. Obviously they didn't have phones back then but what were

  483. they? Well how did they express their

  484. care for him? Right he said not that it's re

  485. speak in regard to need If I have learned, this isn't a book

  486. experience, this is actually walking out the word of God and

  487. just like Kenneth E. Hagin said you stick with me.

  488. God's going to take care of us. We're going to be faithful.

  489. We're going to tithe. We're going to give offerings.

  490. We're going to do the will of God and any born-again believer

  491. child of God. If they just do that, God is

  492. going to accelerate you in life. now, when I say do the word, the

  493. word talks about where there's lack, there's or whether slack,

  494. there's lack in Proverbs, So you want to tie the you want to give

  495. your offering as God leads you, but you want to be a blessing

  496. when you go to work, because if you're have slack at work, guess

  497. what? There's going to be lack?

  498. Maybe another form of employment.

  499. So these things work. There's a there's keys to the

  500. kingdom. You think about Joseph?

  501. What did he do? He brought us solution to a dire

  502. need? Okay, but Paul said, back to

  503. flipping said, I've learned just like brother Hagin said we're

  504. going to learn that God is faithful.

  505. I've learned how to be content, whether I got to meet code or

  506. not, I've learned how to be content, right?

  507. In whatever state I am. I know how to be abased.

  508. I know how to be abound everywhere.

  509. In all things I've learned how to both to be full and had a

  510. hunger, both too bad, how to suffer need.

  511. Then our verse I can do all things through Christ.

  512. Who strengthens me really in context, this is about finances

  513. read on. You have done, you have done.

  514. Well, that you shared in my distress.

  515. What did they share? You Philippians know that in the

  516. beginning of the Gospel. When I departed from Macedonia,

  517. no, church share with me, concerning giving and receiving.

  518. But you only pause the same one that we're First Corinthians. 9,

  519. don't trust, don't muzzle. The ox that treadeth out.

  520. The corn. He was he was a five-fold

  521. minister who made his living by the gospel.

  522. Now he didn't mind working a secular job to get, there was a

  523. time. When there was an offering is

  524. coming in, he had to do tent meeting tent making In a side

  525. job just to support himself and a True Heart of a 5-4 ministers.

  526. Going to do whatever it takes. There was a season in this

  527. ministry, where we're pretty lean and Pastor looked at the

  528. whole staff. He said, I can't pay you all.

  529. Y'all can go do whatever you do, make to make it to make it work.

  530. And guess what? We piece together, jobs.

  531. I'm not saying that to bolster to brag but I mean we were we

  532. were working where we could. I remember doing side cleaning

  533. jobs but still coming into the office.

  534. To get the ministry done now, guess what?

  535. We're going to do. Whatever it takes, I'll go back

  536. to that if I have to Right. But you the the body of Christ.

  537. Mitch true. Misses out on the rich blessing.

  538. And you know where your money is your treasure, or where your

  539. treasure, is there, your heart is.

  540. There was just an event. We went to several weeks ago, my

  541. wife and I did, and they were expecting a certain turnout and

  542. had a lot less, but the event was for free.

  543. And I thought what Ed Cole and talked about during this event

  544. back when they were doing meetings for the Christian means

  545. Network. At one time.

  546. He didn't charge anything for his events either and God dealt

  547. with them. He said people will commit when

  548. there's money involved. His heart was rise.

  549. Like I just want to get this word out, but the command he

  550. found out that more people showed up when they made a

  551. financial. Because you guess what?

  552. Where your money is there? Your heart is hallelujah.

  553. So he said, you are the only one to share with me concerning.

  554. Give her seam free, even if that's an Ikea, you sent me Aid

  555. once. And again, not that I seek the

  556. gift. This is the heart of a true

  557. Ministry gift. Not that I seek the gift.

  558. I mean you've even heard it said if you don't want to give don't

  559. give nobody's forcing you to. Matter of fact I don't want you,

  560. here's the real connection with you.

  561. Make when you give give cheerfully, I'd say if you can't

  562. give cheerfully, don't give until you can give cheerfully

  563. I'm of every smile when they do their time and offer night and

  564. if you don't want to give this smile, anyways, me mad at you.

  565. He said, not that, I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that

  566. abounds to your account. Indeed, I have all about them,

  567. full have received from epaphroditus, the things you

  568. sent a now. Listen, this is a sweet smelling

  569. fragrance, think about that when you put that in the bucket

  570. tonight, that's just not giving Max a sweet-smelling exchange of

  571. faith. To God.

  572. Holiness. Right.

  573. And verse 19, we know this, everybody wants to quote this

  574. verse put in their fridge, right?

  575. And my God shall supply. All of my needs.

  576. God Wants. You supplying all my needs?

  577. Are you doing the verses prior? We just want about conditions,

  578. right? You can say men are owe me.

  579. okay, if he's in chapter 4, Verses 7 through 14.

  580. It says but unto every every one of us now this is Paul writing

  581. to the Ephesian church and I want you to really get this.

  582. Are you a born-again spirit filled blood-bought believer?

  583. Are you a born again? Blood bot.

  584. Spirit filled believer. I got several people I say

  585. again. Are you born again?

  586. Redeemed confess Jesus is Lord believer.

  587. So this is for you. Because what Paul is writing on

  588. the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to the church at Ephesus

  589. is for us at anchor Faith Church today.

  590. God was able to see in time and only been bless the church at

  591. Ephesus, but know that this would be delivered tonight.

  592. So, every one of us, just not the fivefold ministry to

  593. everyone of us is given Grace. To the measure of the gift of

  594. Christ, there's Grace for your gift.

  595. People think a Grace is just saving grace, that's only one

  596. side of Grace. Let me talk to you about what

  597. Grace? Let me tell you what Grace is

  598. not Grace is not ability to fulfill the lust of the flesh.

  599. Paul wrote right into the room and said, should I should I sin

  600. to try to make grace abound? He said no, may it never be.

  601. Grace is not sin now and ask for forgiveness later.

  602. Grace is not disgrace, which disgrace is not a god-honoring

  603. life. I'll put it this way.

  604. Grace is not greasy. I could say lasciviousness

  605. lasciviousness talks about in Proverbs means, anything goes,

  606. you know, in the world today which were not.

  607. We're in the world but guess what we've been born again?

  608. We're not. We don't operate to the kingdom

  609. World System. We operate.

  610. It took according to the kingdom of God, and in the world, guess

  611. what they're doing? Or trying to make anything go.

  612. And that's greasy. And that's outside, the

  613. boundaries, the parameter the standard, the culture that God

  614. has said And that is not Grace. Grace is not Divine permission

  615. to do. What is wrong?

  616. Grace is divine power to do. What is right?

  617. Grace is God's activity. In your life, Grace is God's

  618. operational power in your life and he said to each one of us

  619. Grace is given according to the gift, you got to realize,

  620. there's a gift in you. You can't give yourself as a

  621. gift if you don't see yourself as a gift and I'm telling you by

  622. the Holy Ghost. Right now some of you got to

  623. work on your identity. We've all of us have been

  624. through tough times or may have come out of tough situations but

  625. it is no excuse for you. Not to take.

  626. Take personal responsibility and get in the word.

  627. That is not God's responsibility.

  628. Romans 12 says, verse 1 and 2 says, now listen to the Old

  629. Testament and that we have the outer core, the holy place of

  630. holies of holies they live. It literally the first thing

  631. they had to do was a sacrifice team to get to the holy place to

  632. get in the holies of holies. But Paul references, God's

  633. Master blueprint and Romans chapter 12, verses 1 and 2.

    Romans 12:1

  634. He said you present your body a Living Sacrifice He said don't

  635. be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing

  636. of your mind. So spiritually, God's done

  637. things for you, but we know we are a three-part being

  638. spiritually. I couldn't redeem myself.

  639. I couldn't save myself. I couldn't deliver myself.

  640. I couldn't make myself a new creation, but Jesus Christ, the

  641. King of Kings, and the Lord of lords, the Holy One without

  642. blemish, without blame, that was innocent.

  643. He died to Pardon us to expunge the record of sin.

  644. In to cut off the work of the enemy, the curse of him in my

  645. life, right? And Jesus spiritually, redeem

  646. me. The Bible says, if anyone in cry

  647. be in Christ, he is a new creation.

  648. What's that talking about? It's not talking about my body.

  649. Nothing changed. If I was bald before, I got born

  650. again, I'm bald after I got born again.

  651. Right? That's not talking about, if

  652. you're a new creation, even guess what?

  653. Your soul. That's another part of your

  654. being your mind, your own emotions.

  655. After I got born again, guess what, my soul wasn't just

  656. transform. My my thinking just didn't

  657. automatically change. I just didn't get up and have

  658. the whole Bible memorized the next day and just, you know,

  659. floating through her life on a flower Betty's is thinking, this

  660. is great. You know, the Bible gives us a

  661. reality check. He says there's going to be

  662. fiery darts. It says there's going to be

  663. arguments and reasoning is God loves us so much that he warned

  664. the church about the work of the enemy.

  665. He said, I've taken care of it. Spiritually this Authority back

  666. in your life. You don't have to operate like

  667. that, but your part to play in it is to make sure you you lay

  668. down your bodies, a Living Sacrifice and you renew your

  669. mind. And there's Grace to do that.

  670. That Divine empowerment. I like this definition of Grace

  671. and if you have I'm going to give you a tool reference

  672. tonight. Blue Letter Bible there's many

  673. different great software's out there.

  674. Listen it's so easy today. When I went to Bible school and

  675. we used to do this or Kingdom Institute, we gave you a 10,000

  676. page book. Called the Strong's, exhaustive

  677. Concordance. I don't know if it's 10,000

  678. pages, but I mean, if it fell from the Second Story, hitting

  679. the head, your own conscience and you'd have to flip through

  680. that thing to find the Strong's number.

  681. Some of the older Saint sir. No, today at the click of a

  682. button, there's no excuse. The Bible, says you study to

  683. show yourself approved to God. Thank God for software like Blue

  684. Letter Bible. I could just click and get the

  685. reference to the Greek or the Hebrew.

  686. The New Testament was written in Greek.

  687. The Old Testament is written in Hebrew and, you know, there's a

  688. richness to those languages. You can still get a lot out of

  689. the word of God with not going there.

  690. But as you grow, you want to go there.

  691. Like you don't know what love is because we say we love pizza.

  692. I love my dog. I love my wife.

  693. But in the Greek, you get the richness of four different

  694. meanings of love. So, some of the things in Rich

  695. or walk and your knowledge with God, right?

  696. So anyways, if you go to the Blue Letter Bible, whatever

  697. software you could look up in Ephesians chapter 4, you can

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  698. click on this Grace, right? And the reason I'm telling you

  699. this because I'm going to read you the definition quick, so

  700. you're not going to be able to write it down, because I'm not

  701. going to repeat it a bunch, okay?

  702. But you can find, this is what I'm saying.

  703. You go find it. I like this.

  704. This is literally, the Greek. Grace is the is of the merciful

  705. kindness by which God exerting his holy influence, upon Souls.

  706. Yes Grace is his holy influence upon this mine.

  707. This will that listen, it turns them to Christ.

  708. Keeps them in Christ, strengthens them in Christ

  709. increases them in their faith. Knowledge affection and Kindles

  710. them to exercise, Christian virtues, that's Grace.

  711. Romans 5:17 says this. For If by one man's offense

    Romans 5:17

  712. death reigned by the one. What's this referencing?

  713. When Adam transgressed the Commandment of God?

  714. You know, God had a plan for Adam on the earth.

  715. He said, this is the parameters. This is the boundary don't cross

  716. it. Right?

  717. And so when he crossed it, guess what death passed on to all

  718. mankind. But Renown this verse, we see

  719. the latter half it talking about Jesus.

  720. He said much more that they which have received the

  721. abundance of Grace. The abundance know, God just

  722. didn't say grace. He said the abundance of Grace,

  723. there's a gift Grace in your life.

  724. He's and he said, it's the abundance.

  725. I like he said, receive When I talked about some of you need to

  726. work on your identity, seen yourself as a gift.

  727. Some of y'all have a hard time receiving.

  728. That's not God's fault. He wants to pour it out.

  729. Receive means to lay hold of to possess to seize man.

  730. I want all that you have for me. God I'm not a loser.

  731. I'm not a nobody. I don't have wrong walls up.

  732. I am a sponge to receive. I have the right boundaries in

  733. place, but I got the right reception in place to.

  734. I'm tuned in to what the holy ghost in the word of God is

  735. saying and I receive if you don't receive that from God, you

  736. can go through 40 Years of wandering in the wilderness.

  737. And you know what? There's a lot of Believers in

  738. the wilderness but to God want them to stay in the wilderness?

  739. No, he said, I'm bringing out Egypt to bring you into a more

  740. than enough life. Don't be Wilderness.

  741. Wandering, barely getting along. Saints.

  742. Go into the promised land he said, but you got to receive it.

  743. I can't receive it for you. If you're married, your spouse

  744. can't do it for you. Best friends, can't do it for

  745. you. There's a kink in your hose.

  746. Meaning on God's side, he's got the channel wide open.

  747. And there's a kink going to the key.

  748. Let the flow come to see. See yourself as God sees you.

  749. Jesus told the woman at the, well, if you would have known

  750. the gift of God, You would have get Living Water.

  751. You've been looking for satisfaction.

  752. You've been with five men? The man you with now the 61 that

  753. you found on Mingle.com. It's not working either.

  754. But now you the seventh man, which is the number of

  755. perfection. Now you found the real name and

  756. you're not going to have a, you're never going to have the

  757. right man to you find the real man.

  758. In the real man, you always be satisfied.

  759. And know how to treat the right man.

  760. If the right man, get funny, you still got the real man. to get

  761. the funniness in the weirdness of Hallelujah.

  762. Just in parentheses as a side note.

  763. No I'm not going to go there. So listen to this, the abundance

  764. of Grace. And the gift of righteousness.

  765. He said, Romans, this is a great verse.

  766. Let's stick with you, let absorb it man, think about it,

  767. meditated speak at confess it over the the hours after this

  768. service ended Amaro into the week in man, this is this is New

  769. Testament reality for a more than enough life.

  770. He said he's giving you a bunny said receive the it now just

  771. what? Grace of the abundance, which

  772. means a surplus It literally means super abundance.

  773. God's overstocked. He's got more than enough.

  774. We live in a society where we have to renew our mind, we

  775. things are going to run out, we got to get more fuel, we gotta

  776. go get more groceries, but God does in a kingdom where he has

  777. enough and runs out. He's an endless supply of

  778. energy, we can draw from him in his life from now and through

  779. eternity he's like the Energizer Bunny.

  780. He just keeps going, he doesn't sleep, nor Slumbers we can.

  781. Pull, are you doing stuff through his strength through

  782. your own ability? Right?

  783. The abundance, the super Buster Surplus, I want to give you this

  784. root word of Grace. I've already given you, you

  785. know, when you do Blue Letter Bible, to give you the word,

  786. which is Karis where we get the word Charisma from, but then if

  787. you click on the what we call etymology the root word, I want

  788. to tell you what that means. The definition means to be,

  789. well, and I really want to do this tonight, but there was

  790. enough practice in milady's, it means to thrive.

  791. Now we're not doing it this Mother's Day, but if you were

  792. with us last mother today, They sang a song on Thrive, not I

  793. Will Survive, but I will Thrive Wilderness wonders are surviving

  794. Canaan and Canaan land livers are thriving.

  795. What does thrive mean? It means to grow vigorously to

  796. flourish and to prosper, right? So in Egypt, you didn't have

  797. enough and the Wilderness you have just enough and Canaan

  798. land, you have more than enough. And in Egypt, you were a

  799. survivor in the wilderness, your success but in Canaan land your

  800. of significance a significant life just as an impact me

  801. because really the word rain when you look this up and says

  802. it means to flow over into others.

  803. Are you living? So well in Christ That people

  804. recognize the grace upon you. That's where God wants you to

  805. get to church in your purpose and your assignment, your

  806. living. So.

  807. Well in him, your marriage is just not heaven on Earth at home

  808. because, you know, marriage could be the closest thing to

  809. Heaven or Hell you'll have on the Earth but that heaven pours

  810. over it into the lies of others. That's when you're living a

  811. significant more than enough, it's just not about me.

  812. It's about us living. So, well, in the grace of God,

  813. there's Grace to be a man. There's Grace to be a woman.

  814. There's Grace to be a father. There's Grace To Be A Mother.

  815. There's Grace to serve in the local church.

  816. There's Grace to open a business if that's what God's called you

  817. to do. There's Grace to be an educator

  818. if that's what God's called you to do, right?

  819. There's Grace to be in politics If that's called you that

  820. there's Grace to work at a fast food restaurant.

  821. Wherever God, assigns you. That's where you need to be.

  822. Well, they don't pay enough. God will pay you.

  823. Your job is not your work, your work is your purpose.

  824. And I guarantee if you go and your tithe and you're working

  825. hard, you're going to go from flipping burgers and putting the

  826. fries in the oil, right? To assistant manager to manager.

  827. You can't keep a God man down. When I say man, I'm talking

  828. about Mankind. We just rise to the top even

  829. Joseph, when it seems like a demotion became a promotion.

  830. Hallelujah. A dear friend of mine from

  831. Raymond real quick story, Brian. He actually came here years ago

  832. to do, just the epitome of Service to the local body

  833. Church. This guy worked for a company

  834. for four years, and years decades, that help Christian

  835. Ministries, do advertising, you know, Outreach and marketing.

  836. It was like a, an intermediate service, right?

  837. Where they would really talk to his company and they would help

  838. with things right. During that whole time, he met,

  839. his wife Evelyn, went to a Rhema back in like 1982 from.

  840. I think it was Philadelphia. Yeah, because he's a Steelers

  841. fan, Don, he's a Steelers fan. I got your attention.

  842. Big Steelers fan, but he just served.

  843. And, you know what? Even though they graduated, they

  844. went to Bible School, guess what?

  845. God told him stick with Rhema? Serve.

  846. So he just became an usher. He's working this job, you know

  847. they're just being faithful at the local body Church sitting

  848. under a five fold Ministry. Which is equipping them will get

  849. there for the work of service for the edifying of the body of

  850. Christ will get there. And man, just Thrive and being

  851. faithful, you know, faithfulness is the key to anything.

  852. Consistency. Steadfastness Right?

  853. If you're faithful God, God rewards.

  854. The faithful and their faithful. Hey, they needed to help going

  855. to the Cancer Ward for to get the gospel out there.

  856. So they join that. He's ushering.

  857. They started teaching some after a while.

  858. They start teaching, Sunday school, they called School of

  859. the school of the Bible, right? School of the Bible.

  860. I think Iran has basically Sunday school.

  861. So as our faithful, you know, Pastor Kenneth and Lynette just

  862. started giving him this and that and, you know, he, I think he

  863. worked for a mica Tech which was the name of company for 15, 20

  864. years. During that time, guess what?

  865. Micah Tech had a cutback. And he was right, going up their

  866. ranks and Micah Tech and all sudden they get a cut back.

  867. He loses money and a title. Now this is a real man of God,

  868. with real issues because the he told me this story said, you

  869. know, I went home and kind of flopped on the bed and cried

  870. kind of complain to God. Like, what is going on?

  871. I'm being faithful serving two faithful.

  872. This company also and I got a reduction in Pay I lost in

  873. title. Well, you know, wasn't long

  874. after that that I like this because who likes to hang out a

  875. resume or going through an interview process, Pastor

  876. Lynette, Hagin personally reaches out to and say, hey, Do

  877. you want us to oversee the whole Rhema book distribution?

  878. Now, see if you don't handle things, right?

  879. And you start to complaining and grumbling and say God, it looks

  880. like things are going backwards instead of forward.

  881. Now he had to get his heart right on that, get as minor new

  882. get set on the word and it wasn't easy but it was right?

  883. And he stuck to the plan and purpose of God in all of a

  884. sudden, he still to this day man.

  885. I eat when I used to call for a now we get to do it all in line.

  886. You know, online is you get less?

  887. People interaction. I used to call him, just talk to

  888. him, you know, hey we need to order more.

  889. Why tons? Now we do our own.

  890. Why tongues book I'm going to just call him for some reason.

  891. But, you know, I remember calling him and, you know, and

  892. he was the only one at one time frame had to scale back a little

  893. bit, even though he's over the whole thing, he's running the

  894. whole thing by himself. Now, he's got some help, you

  895. know? But man, that's, that's God, he

  896. had to process the hurt, the pain.

  897. The disappointment of losing a title losing money with that,

  898. but still stayed the course. That's thriving.

  899. That's a life of significance. That's not Wilderness wandering.

  900. That's Canaan. Land living.

  901. All right, so Grace means to thrive means to grow vigorously

  902. to flourish at a Prosper. Hallelujah.

  903. Let me ask you this real quick and then we're going to jump in

  904. the fivefold ministry. Can people see the grace?

  905. Of God on you and Acts chapter 11 verse number 23, the word

    Acts 11 chapter mention

  906. says this, who, when he came and had seen the grace of God.

  907. So he was he looking at people and he saw the grace of God.

  908. They were glad they exhorted them all with purpose of heart.

  909. They they cleaved unto the Lord so you can literally see the

  910. grace of God on somebody. When you see somebody walk

  911. through a situation, like, Bryan and they don't don't falter.

  912. They don't get off course, they don't get offended.

  913. More people, quit because of offense in anything else.

  914. Luke 17 says, whoa, Jesus warns us.

  915. This is red letter in the Bible woe unto offense because they

  916. are going to come But don't let it take you out.

  917. He could have got offended. He could have quit but he stand.

  918. That was the grace of God and trust me, he's having

  919. conversations God. You said God, I know, I know

  920. there's more. I know there's purpose.

  921. I know I'm in your plan. Hallelujah there are no

  922. insignificant members in the body of Christ.

  923. So, I want to get to these Ministry gifts.

  924. Let's go back to Ephesians chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  925. There was Grace in Jesus life. There was Grace in The Apostle.

  926. Paul's life, matter of fact in 1st Corinthians 15:10.

  927. Paul said, I am what I am by the grace of God, then he made a

  928. statement, he said, I labored more abundantly in that Grace

  929. than they all. Some people think why am I

  930. growing? Are you laboring in the grace?

  931. Are you working it out? Remember, one of the definitions

  932. of Grace is to exercise. The virtues of it.

  933. You know, if he a bit of the gym for a while.

  934. And you do some resistance training, guess what?

  935. You're going to be a little bit sore, there's a new member of

  936. CrossFit talking right now. You just did a 6-mile run this

  937. week, right? Hallelujah.

  938. But you know, exercise is good for you.

  939. You know, it's the same thing. There's natural.

  940. Paul talked about natural pinch principles, but gave spiritual

  941. implications of what's really going on.

  942. He talked about those that run a race.

  943. Everybody runs to win. They talk about Appling in your

  944. body. The same way that an athlete is

  945. on a strict diet of strict, plan to win how much more we that are

  946. going for Christ, should be on a strict diet in a strict plan.

  947. Meaning I'm not talking about the physical gym, meaning the

  948. spiritual gym, Let me put it this way cuz this is a modern

  949. phenomenon. Everybody wants a coach today.

  950. And anybody can call themself a coach today because we have this

  951. thing called social media. Listen, there's cats and animals

  952. that get ordained. So, you put in coach in front of

  953. your name. Does not impress me.

  954. I want somebody who's been through walking through and

  955. coming through with the word of God.

  956. Even even Paul talked about proving yourself, don't put a

  957. novice in Ministry. And First, Timothy 3 said lest

  958. being lifted up with pride. He's going to fall.

  959. You know in God's plan of Education, you're going to walk

  960. through some things. God doesn't tempt you but he

  961. will prove you or test you. And you're supposed to end.

  962. Test. James, 1, count, it all joy.

  963. Ha ha. Ha ha.

  964. Ha ha. Give me another rep Lord, let me

  965. run that extra mile. Lord, this is fun.

  966. My military people say, can I say this embrace the suck?

  967. It's great more capacity. But Pastor said, you're not

  968. limited by what your experience but it's in your capacity.

  969. So when you run another spiritual Mi, guess what you?

  970. Just increase your respiratory system to go further with God to

  971. have a life of Greater significance.

  972. So Ephesians chapter 4. Let's read this whole thing in

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  973. context and we're going to back up.

  974. So he says this in verse number 7, Ephesians 4, he says, but

  975. each one of us Grace was given each one of us according to the

  976. measure of Christ's gift. Therefore, he says, when he

  977. Jesus is talking about Jesus, ascended on high, he led

  978. captivity captive, and he gave gifts to men.

  979. So there's a thing called the Old Testament saints that were

  980. held in Abraham's bosom. That second verse, it says he

  981. led captivity captive actually released those that were

  982. basically in a holding place at the Redemptive work of Christ

  983. and he's taking them to have about the same time.

  984. Not only take somebody left something he said he gave gifts

  985. to men. Now this he which is talk about

  986. Jesus ascended. What does it mean that he also

  987. first decent and lower parts of the Earth, right?

  988. Hugh dicen is the once my one is capitalized reference in Jesus.

  989. Who ascended far above all the heavens that he might fill all

  990. things. Now, listen verse 11 says he,

  991. which is capitalized. Jesus gave some no students.

  992. They gave all he didn't call everybody in the Old Testament

  993. to the levitical priesthood, right?

  994. We have 12 different tribes. He gave some and this is the

  995. fivefold ministry. Those that make their living

  996. from the gospel. He gave some Apostles, some

  997. prophets, some evangelists some pastors, and some teachers, why

  998. did he give them? There's a purpose for

  999. everything. God does in his plan.

1000. He's the master architect he gave them why for the equipping

1001. of the Saints. Comma for the work of the

1002. ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

1003. Till we all come to the unity of the faith and to the knowledge

1004. of the Son of God to a perfect man to the measure the stature

1005. of the fullness of Christ. Verse 14, that we should no

1006. longer be children, say grow up, say, grow up.

1007. Look at your neighbor. Say, I want to grow up that we

1008. should no longer be children. Listen tossed to and fro and

1009. carried about with every wind of Doctrine.

1010. There's a lot of doctrine that floats to the body of Christ.

1011. Part of the fivefold ministry is to guard against wrong Doctrine.

1012. If you can rightly divide the word, you can also wrongly

1013. divide the word. And there is Doctrine out there

1014. a long time ago. Back in the 80s, people were

1015. saying the higher you get in prayer.

1016. The, the, the better God will be able to hear your request but

1017. they are let us say, like, you need you on top of building,

1018. some people written planes. I learned this at bible stomach,

1019. I'd rather hear a donkey braying midnight into 10 Barn.

1020. Which is a loud screeching noise to listen to that bunk for that

  1021. junk, right? Your?

1022. God doesn't God can listen to you on your knees while you're

1023. walking while you're in the plane.

  1024. It's a matter of Faith. It's a matter of your heart.

1025. It's a matter of lining up with his will not on how physically

1026. High you are right but that's that's a wrong Doctrine. there

1027. was a discipleship movement back, and I think the early 80s,

1028. And guess what, it started off, right?

1029. But you realize if I'm Lisa leave from Florida to go to

1030. California and playing. I'm off just a few degrees by

1031. the time, I'm to get to my intended destination, I'm way

1032. off. And so part of the fivefold,

1033. ministry is to guess what. Keep you on track.

1034. When their words, I'm kind of jumping all over the place here.

  1035. And I got it's 8:40. Well, I'm yeah.

1036. Praise the Lord. Glory to God it's gonna be more

1037. like a buffet then a shotgun approach.

1038. I mean an accurate rifle approach, right?

1039. Then a shotgun where it's come come be spread all over.

1040. One of the reasons they gave out for mystery for the equipping,

1041. the Saints, one of the words for equipping is so you stay in your

1042. place. Hebrews talks about being

1043. dislocated like a bones out of place and you know, when you're

1044. when you're dislocate your not functioning as you should and so

1045. what's any good doctor? And we got the great physician

1046. do, let me get that back in place.

1047. And when you're, if you're out of place, guess what?

  1048. It hurts. The body.

1049. Now, God has faithfulness was be Supply.

1050. Somebody else to fulfill. Maybe what you're not

1051. fulfilling. But the gifts and callings of

1052. God are without repentance. What's he waiting for you?

1053. Do is just repent. Repentance is a pivotal point

  1054. between reconciliation and Rebellion.

1055. If you don't repent, it'll lead to Rebellion which leads to

  1056. ruin. I gave you John 10:10.

    John 10:10

1057. It says, the thief comes to steal kill and destroy.

1058. I didn't give you the first part of that verse, but God came to

1059. give you life and to give it part of repentance has to stay

1060. on the plan of God, you just don't repent one time.

1061. But if you do repent from your heart, at least two

1062. reconciliation which leads to Restoration, I talked about

1063. Galatians 6, you that are spiritual restore, such a one

1064. one, the roles of a pastor and I've sat with Pastor own just

1065. absorbed in some counseling meetings because I'm like how is

1066. he going to answer that? And the anointing kicks in and

1067. I'm just like, okay, give me some impartation but without I

1068. want some of that buddy. I see him restore people in a

  1069. spirit of meekness. Hallelujah.

1070. So part of that, equipping is a put you in the right place.

1071. Didn't pass her or just do a whole series a couple years ago

1072. on the equipping. We just don't need information.

1073. We need equipped. You all could go back and

1074. probably reference that online. Great, great manufacturers,

1075. wasn't a series, it was like, a couple years.

1076. It was equipping 2.0. I believe the second year.

1077. So, whoo, you got a lot of homework to do glory, to God.

1078. okay, so Fusions for so he says that we're not taught tossed to

1079. and fro with every wind of Doctrine, by the trickery

1080. trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful

1081. plotting. Everything that God does he the

1082. devil tries to pervert. He does this in marriage, right?

1083. He's even trying to pervert how God ordained marriage right now,

1084. right? But I'm bringing us, guess what?

  1085. If there's a there's an apostle, guess what?

1086. The devil tries to do, give a false Apostle, if there's a real

1087. Prophet guess what? The devil tries to give a false

1088. prophet. If there's a real Pastor, what

1089. does it ever do? Try to plant a false pastor.

1090. Are you with me? Okay, so coach Remember I talked

1091. about online, why people say their coaches and you know a

1092. real Pastor is going to have walk through things or still

1093. walking with God. Guess what Pastor has been

1094. passed from since 2004? And you just keeps on getting

  1095. better. He has grown.

1096. You weren't, you know, when we say there were perfect.

1097. Everybody thinks without excuse or without fault blameless.

1098. That is not what the Greek rendered in the definition means

1099. it means maturing A mature person takes responsibility for

1100. their actions. And really it's respond to the

1101. ability that Grace in you and say God, I'm timing.

1102. David said it this way. King David, this is so great.

1103. He didn't blame others, he said, in Psalms 26, to God.

1104. Examined me. Try my reins re ins like a horse

1105. rains, my motivation, where am I going examine me?

1106. That's a true heart of a disciple of Christ.

1107. Is to have to be multiple and pliable.

1108. You cannot mould dry clay. But the water of the word, if

1109. you stay, humble and meek will God will shape you and mold you

1110. into the perfect Masterpiece of what he's got destined for you,

1111. while you're on the Earth. Hallelujah.

1112. A coach though I was thinking about Coach because I really

1113. wanted to coach is like a passion of mine growing up, you

1114. know, I really love football, the strategy, the teamwork, the

1115. lift in the offseason, the in season.

1116. I thought, man, I want to coach. So recently, I thought Lord, I

1117. love studying word. Studying the word, I said, what

1118. a coach come from, what's that concept?

1119. Lord, you know, so I did some research and really coach came

1120. from Stagecoach. The stagecoaches weren't common.

1121. They were people of royalty. That were able to get in a

1122. stagecoach to transport them, from one destination to the

1123. next. And so really, I look at the 54

1124. minute Ministry of spiritual coaches, you're a person of

1125. royalty born again that same. You need the fivefold ministry

1126. because they are your spiritual coach.

1127. And they're going to transport you from where you are now to

1128. where I want you to be. You're on a journey and a

1129. Destiny, and you need these Ministry gifts in your life.

1130. There are well-balanced Ministry gifts.

1131. Amen. So, let's run through these, we

1132. need different types of gifts to grow, and you'll see that in the

1133. fivefold ministry gifts, you need inspiration, and

1134. impartation from all these gifts, to grow Christ himself

1135. gave the gifts. And these gifts are for this

1136. steady growth Within These Walls for powerful witness.

1137. Without these Wolves. Why do I come to church?

1138. Is LG here tonight? Man, I'm trying to honor him.

1139. Oh, he's probably serving he played for Notre Dame.

1140. They're not big 10 because they missed it.

1141. The Big Ten, try to invite them to into the conference but

1142. they're too prideful. I pray for humility over them.

1143. You know, pride comes before the fall.

1144. They may lose that contract with CBS anyways.

1145. At Notre Dame, they have the sinuses play Like A Champion day

1146. when they come out of the locker room, everybody touches that

1147. sign all the team and I'm a sports guy, right?

1148. So this is this is the body of Christ or the team of Christ in

1149. here tonight and this is steady growth within what happens

1150. within the walls of a football complex or sports program.

1151. There's the coach challenging you stretching, you give me one

1152. more rep are do you have the plays memorize?

1153. How's your grades? I saw you miss study hall, all

1154. your out your girlfriend at 11 a.m.

  1155. Right. That's what a coach does.

1156. A bad coach go out with her till 1 a.m. just mess up the whole

1157. team. Go get intoxicated the night

1158. before the game, do whatever you want.

1159. Is that a good coach be about all yourself.

1160. The fake Trinity, me myself and I we're just care about just

1161. your stats and just you making it to the NFL.

1162. Forget about the rest of them, they're losers.

  1163. You're the best, that's a bad coach, right?

1164. A real coach is trying, trying to focus on the team and

1165. development and accountability and criminal chemistry and

1166. Oneness and unity. How much more these are all

1167. principles in the kingdom of God, that God and glory to God,

1168. he's the one that set them. The world uses them, but God is

1169. the one that came up with him. Now, the world uses it apart

1170. from him. But God set these principles in

1171. the Earth, right? So steady growth within they

1172. say, play like it. So what's that?

1173. Play Like A Champion, they prepared all week to go out for

1174. three hours on a Saturday. They prepared all offseason for

1175. three hours of Glory. Listen, preparation time is not

1176. wasted time, you serve them with the kids is not wasted time, you

1177. are pouring into their lives. You being a greeter just like, I

1178. went to Rhema, man. I'm not saying go hug people.

1179. We haven't initiated that yet. But their greeters are trained a

1180. hug and pick you up off their feet.

1181. So greeters, do not do that. You know, handshake is good and

1182. smile, don't be a greedy like welcome to church.

1183. Have some passion, you're born again, right?

1184. Listen and come to church on Wednesday and Sunday.

1185. I was thinking back over the decades, you know, there's only

1186. been evil, Errata town, we go to church.

1187. There's been probably five times six times in 24 years of serving

1188. God that we just didn't have the ability to get to a church on a

  1189. Sunday. I remember when I I didn't even

1190. know what I was really called to do see there's a general purpose

  1191. and there's a specific purpose. I just knew I need to be a

1192. church in 1997. Nobody told me, nobody had to

1193. prod me, remind me. I was excited.

1194. I had wrong cannoli on a cassette in my in my Honda Civic

  1195. two-door. Five-speed Remember they used to

1196. eat the tapes and you have to roll your, hope it didn't bus,

1197. you have to roll them back up with a pencil, your finger, some

1198. of you got it easy today because I don't eat that, that's my

1199. favorite one. It's real good.

1200. When you get the nice cars and it was fast forward to stop at

1201. the next song. Instead of you trying to guess,

1202. Hallelujah. But I remember going to church

1203. on a Wednesday being a hard maybe day at words and steal.

1204. Whatever. And just excited to be at

1205. church. I'm still excited to come to

1206. church because this is where you're getting a meal.

1207. A spiritual refreshing. Your wasn't people like Precious

1208. Faith. The Bible says, I was glad not

1209. sad when they said let's go to the house of the Lord.

1210. Why? Cuz God, so loves you put

1211. Ministry gifts in the church. So you'd have steady growth

1212. within. So you could be a powerful

1213. witness without go, change the world, be an agent of change.

1214. A person of transformation you go to your job as man.

1215. Your yeast working into that do truth life.

1216. So, you're looking for a word? God, do I need to say something?

1217. Just keep praying, just keep praying.

1218. Oh, they don't even know what's about to come.

1219. Great, Deliverance up in this carnal, place if Tim Tebow.

1220. Yeah, Chris go, no Gators. 0h, where Jesse I, oh, there you go.

1221. My dating brother. He's from Dayton, Ohio.

1222. Now, you got me all messed up. I forgot was going Chris Now,

1223. you got me really messed up, Miss Diane.

1224. Tim Tebow which I heard can go in the Florida locker room when

1225. he's a freshman and here's a bunch of carnal words and foul

1226. language and just live Christ before them see his character.

1227. And I pray, this is a real story.

1228. I heard by the time he was a senior he had eradicated most of

1229. the language, one man, and four years.

1230. Changes 115, scholarship players to shut their mouths.

1231. Not that they weren't talking but you been around somebody

1232. before. This is gracing you.

1233. What do you do? I'm a pastor.

1234. I'll send their Lanes with their language.

1235. Cleans up. Sometimes, we don't have to say

1236. much, that's foul language, brother.

1237. Sometimes we get say, you know what, you should really talk

1238. like that, you need to be led those instances wrote though,

  1239. right? Hallelujah.

1240. Oh, say Okay. So the ministry gifts.

1241. First, I'm going to go over the Apostle.

1242. Now, there's different. What we call parallel passages

1243. in the Bible, you can find gifts and general.

1244. And First Corinthians, 12, Paul does a great job.

1245. Just outline the body of Christ in general.

1246. Everybody has a part to play. Everybody has Grace in a gift of

1247. Grace for that gift, every born-again believer.

1248. Okay. First Corinthians 12 really

1249. talks about that but verse 28, really starts to highlight the

1250. fivefold ministry. So, If I fall Ministries part of

1251. the body of Christ, just like in the Old Testament, guess what?

1252. All the tribes are part of the nation of Israel, but there was

1253. individual tribes all doing their assignment but they all

1254. represent it guess what? There's a universal church still

1255. today, the family of God, but we're in a local body right now

1256. and there's many gifts that God set in this local body, bring

1257. your supply to the local body, right?

1258. So first, first Corinthians 12, 28 says, God has set some in the

1259. church first apostles, secondarily prophets thirdly

1260. teachers after that miracles. Yes of healings.

1261. Helps government's diversities of tongues Ephesians 4:11, which

    Ephesians 4:11

1262. already read. He said he gave some Apostles.

1263. So the ministry gift which heads the list is Apostle.

1264. However, that does not mean that this is the most among the most

1265. important Ministry gift just because it's listed first and

1266. First Corinthians 12 and other references, they don't list

1267. Apostle first, it's just how Paul wrote to the Corinthians

1268. church. I say that because for every

  1269. real Apostle there's a false Apostle.

1270. So I got to give you a balanced teaching because Some Apostles

1271. will come come in and saying, you got to tie to me, I tell you

1272. how to run the ministry. I tell you about the

1273. discipleship movement, which I kind of got sidetracked in the

1274. early 80s, guess what? It started off good.

1275. But it dwindled off doctrinally where you can even buy a car

1276. without them telling you, what color the car was that's

1277. hogwash. Now, I'm a look at you.

1278. And say to God, really tell you to buy this car as a pastor.

1279. I'm looking at your budget. You make twelve hundred dollars

1280. a month and you're going to go do a seven hundred dollar car

1281. payment. Have you thought this through?

1282. I may say that to you. And if you said God really told

  1283. me. Go for it.

1284. We'll find out three months. I may be repeating or you may be

1285. sleeping in your car because you can't afford your rent, but one

1286. of us is right, one of us is wrong.

1287. And I Rejoice with you because you heard God, because the real

1288. pastor wants to see people grow and actually respond to the Holy

1289. Ghost. I'd love to say I miss that

1290. situation. Of a sudden you got a promotion

1291. and now you make a 3500 month, I'll be like wow, they got it.

1292. They did hear the Holy Ghost. Amen.

1293. So the Apostle, real Apostle does not dominate the local

1294. church. A fake Apostle will try to try

1295. to throw away their title as about this about coaches, just

1296. because you put a label on an empty can doesn't mean the

1297. continent labels in the can you can call yourself whatever you

1298. want? Doesn't mean that you actually

1299. call it at office. You're not called a five fold

1300. Ministry, because your wife calls, you, your husband calls,

1301. you, your aunt calls you. Write your call because God

1302. called you, all right? Soda pop.

1303. So I'm going to run through these pretty quick and just

1304. really give you a shotgun approach because it's already a

1305. 55. So quickly and Apostle is one.

1306. Who gets people solidly established in the word and a

1307. real Apostle solid solidly, get people established in the word.

1308. Number two, a real Apostle will establish churches solidly in

1309. the word. So the established people and

1310. churches solidly in the word to stand in the office of an

1311. apostle, one must have a deep personal encounter with the Lord

1312. and an ongoing spiritually. Strong relationship with him and

1313. his word, the Apostle Paul had such a relationship, you know,

1314. in Galatians is said that the gospel was revealed not by man

1315. but by the Lord Jesus Christ, that's a pretty strong

1316. relationship when you get a revelation.

1317. But that's when the signs of an apostle they have a deep walk

1318. with God, not that we can't have a deep walk with God and we

1319. should be intimate with him, but there's something connecting him

  1320. with God. That assignment.

1321. Write a distinguishing characteristic of an apostle is

1322. to establish. Church is So we can see this

1323. with Pastor. Oh, he started off Pastor and

1324. anchor Faith Church. But guess what?

1325. Now, we have. Anchor Faith.

1326. Church Valdosta. We have anchor for a church.

1327. Managua. We have anchor fake Church.

1328. India, we're gonna have anchor, Faith Church, Chicago.

1329. And there's others as he outlined in the vision in

1330. January that are coming. So that's the that's an

1331. Apostolic anointing. If you call yourself Apostle and

1332. you have an established a church, your false, you're just

1333. calling yourself that the fruit will show out.

1334. An apostle can also be a missionary who is really called

1335. to the mission field. Some went somewhere said don't

1336. be a person that just went be sent.

1337. So if you're sent why because they're going to go and they're

1338. going to establish works and in foreign territory.

1339. Another characteristic is the ability to provide adequate

1340. spiritual leadership and have we not seen that from Pastor or a

1341. pastor, Marcy? The real definition of apostle

1342. is one cent a commission. One, a special a special

1343. messenger and one sent forthwith orders when I was getting ready

1344. for this. I thought you know, Pastor were

1345. Earl, got the word, we can calm Apostle Earl on the kingdom of

1346. God, that was a special message that he got back in 2009 and

1347. released at and living that in our body right now, right?

1348. Let me move on to the prophet. I'm kind of highlighting these

1349. real quick just to show you quickly.

  1350. A prophet a prophet is also called a full-time Ministry just

1351. because a Layman prophesize does not mean that they're a profit

1352. First Corinthians 12 Paul encouraged the whole church to

1353. prophesy but just because you prophesied doesn't mean you

1354. stand in the office of a prophet.

1355. A real Prophet simply is going to be able to teach and preach

  1356. the word. Okay.

1357. A real prophet in First Corinthians 12, there's nine

1358. gifts of the Spirit, I'm going pretty quick.

1359. They're going to operate and what we call out of the nine

1360. gifts, you breaking up in the three gifts of nine, they're

1361. going to flow in the, what we call the power, the power gifts.

1362. Which is the working of Miracle. I'm sorry.

1363. The not that praise the Lord. That's those are Revelation

1364. gifts. I'm getting all going.

1365. They are I got all my notes. Just look at my notes Word of

  1366. Wisdom. There we go.

1367. Word of knowledge and Discerning of spirits.

1368. So real profits going to flow in two or three of these frequently

1369. or some of that prophesizes going to kind of be in and out

  1370. of them. And they're not full-time

1371. Ministry, a real Prophet or called to the ministry.

1372. Gift of profits going to be in full-time Ministry.

1373. The word of wisdom is Supernatural Revelation by the

1374. spirit of God, concerning the Divine Purpose, in the mind of

1375. will of God real quick and Word of Wisdom talks about future

1376. events. A word of knowledge is really

1377. getting the facts in the mind of God, that talks about present or

1378. past events. And Discerning of spirits, means

1379. you actually see in the realm of the spirit and you can discern

1380. Spirits, good or bad. You could discern evil spirits

  1381. or actually Angels. Right.

1382. So a prophet speaks by divine inspiration and immediate

1383. Revelation not something, he thought of, but something given

1384. at the spur of the moment by sudden inspiration.

1385. So we see this with Pastor Marcy and corporate prayer, guess what

1386. I was thinking about this years ago, she called out a boat and

1387. foreign territory some was going on.

1388. I'm trying to the whole story and the newscast hit a few days

1389. later. That's a Word of Wisdom of

1390. prophetic utterance given during our corporate prayer.

1391. Luckily she called out, I think it was drugs that were going to

1392. be busted. She called this corporate prayer

1393. on 9:30 is a fun time because what you're seeing prophetic

1394. utterance by Pastor, Marcy happening during a corporate

1395. prayer. I would not be in the lobby,

1396. drinking your latte. I'd be in soaking it all in

1397. because there is prophetic under, there's many, many

1398. examples of her flowing in that gift.

1399. Not only she a pastor but she has a prophetic utterance with

1400. her too. All right, an evangelist.

1401. An evangelist, there's only one, evangelist mentioned in the New

1402. Testament, Philip in Acts 20 18, but a really Vangelis.

1403. Once again, if somebody's in full-time Ministry, they bring

1404. the good news or the message of the Good Tidings.

1405. They bring the message of Redeeming Grace, the

1406. supernatural equipment of an evangelist, includes miracles in

1407. the gifts of healings. So I was talking about the gifts

1408. of the Spirit In First Corinthians 12.

1409. Well, they're going to flow in the Miracles and the healings It

1410. becomes a supernatural advertisement of the power of

1411. God to get people into the kingdom of God.

1412. Guess what? If somebody that was sick, got

1413. healed or had something that was broken, get repaired.

1414. And they hear the gospel with that Supernatural Miracle.

1415. They're going to be more likely to say, man, I'm giving my life

1416. to God. Now, first current in Ephesians

1417. 4, it talks about the and the office of the Evangelist.

1418. If you go to First Corinthians, 12, verse 28, you notice that

    1 Corinthians 12:28

1419. evangelist isn't listed there. But it what is listed as gifts

1420. of Miracles and healings which is referring to the office of

1421. the Evangelist. The pastor is probably the most

1422. widely recognized office in the Christian Ministry today, the

1423. Greek word for pastor literally means Shepherd shepherds are

1424. necessary for a maturing and equipping of the Saints.

1425. God Set this off in the in the church as Believers in there as

1426. the early church began together, together and local churches and

1427. oversee them. Every local church think about.

1428. If you're giving your life to Christ the Evangelist, they need

1429. to get connected to a local church because we just don't

1430. want to birth a baby and leave them unattended.

1431. So the role of the pastor's probably one the most necessary

1432. and needed offices because think about all the local churches

  1433. throughout the world. Right?

1434. So we need good pastors not false pastors that are anointed

1435. and called by God to help equip us without the ministry.

1436. Gift of pastors. All other Ministry gifts are

1437. really in vain, Because even though the Apostle can establish

1438. churches, guess what? Paul had to set Timothy in a

1439. local church because they needed oversight, nurturing and Care.

1440. A real Pastor is going to say that's a wolf in sheep's

1441. clothing. Don't go out with them.

1442. I remember one of the Rainbow Christian Center man, somebody

1443. gave me a book on diet and about don't eat, you know, it's under

1444. the law and I know Pastor scales heard me because I was talking

1445. and it was after church and he probably saw the book.

1446. Somebody had one of his congregation members hint to me.

1447. So I'm like, I'm not going to eat pork again, it's a dirty

1448. animal. So the next service I kind of

1449. get rebuked publicly, but privately.

1450. He said did you know that I think he was talking also to

1451. person gave me a book that you know when Christ redeemed us it

1452. says it's not that that goes into the belly that defiles us

1453. that which comes out. And Jesus said this in the

1454. gospel there by declared all foods clean what they didn't

1455. have in the Old Testament and why God was so adamant was in

1456. order for them to be healthy, they didn't have the name of

1457. Jesus sanctify, their food. Now I'm going to say about, does

1458. that mean you can go out and live off of Twinkies?

1459. And eat pork all the time, you're going to be a pork if you

1460. eat pork what you sow, you shall read.

1461. So I think balance is the key to life.

1462. Can I can't eat bacon. Yeah but even in this, it gets

1463. the point. That is it going to offend

1464. somebody? I ain't going it in front of

1465. you? I do enjoy my baking at the

1466. house. Then bacon cupcakes, Miss Stacy,

  1467. praise the lord, it's organic non-GMO.

1468. So pastors are usually equipped with the word of wisdom, and the

1469. word of knowledge and tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

1470. Man, I gotta say it's about give me five minutes.

  1471. Okay? We're conditioned along

1472. preaching. I know we got school tomorrow

1473. and everything, but there's going to be great to get up in

  1474. the morning. Hallelujah.

1475. In the Old Testament and the New Testament there are similarities

1476. between the profits, but I want to say this real quick on a

1477. balance side, profits, preach and teach the word prophets,

1478. have visions and Revelations. But, you know, John the Baptist

1479. was one of the greatest prophets in the bible and he never told

1480. anybody a prophecy. He literally preached, the

1481. kingdom of God, repentance and made a way for the Messiah.

1482. So true Prophet can teach Can they give words?

1483. Yeah, but here's my, here's my concern.

1484. As a lot of people run to profits forwards and somebody's

1485. in fanaticism. And excess is always trying to

1486. give a word and the New Testament, what they didn't have

1487. in the Old Testament was they didn't have the spirit of the

1488. Living. God, on the inside of him.

1489. Romans 8:14 says, as many as are led by the spirit.

    Romans 8:14

1490. These are the sons of God. So the Old Testament prophets

1491. gave guidance it. Guess what the New Covenant

1492. prophets took and can still give a word of knowledge of word of

1493. wisdom and should if they're true Prophet.

1494. But it's only going to go. To confirm what you have in your

1495. spirit. Cuz we're to be led by the

1496. spirit not by prophets. So true Prophet can give you a

1497. challenging word but you know, it's right.

1498. But a false prophets going to try to give you a word to get

1499. you off, okay? A true.

1500. Pastor is going to recognize false prophets.

1501. It's I just I got four Bandit they get the tub seconds on this

1502. to I can literally say I'm keep my word it's not 07:03.

1503. This is like a wad workout right here right?

1504. Amrap as many words as I can get in three minutes and 45 seconds

1505. I'm going to be on the leaderboard today.

1506. No. I've just been introducing the

1507. cross since its October. I'm it was a whole new world

1508. going in there IMA my mom. Amrap eat you know what?

1509. Todd Seriously, my wife is like, what are they talking about?

1510. I don't know, praise the Lord. Thank God for coach and from

1511. Rack City who helps us out? Oh my goodness.

1512. I'm not doing very well in Breaking any records.

  1513. Now, A shepherd's going to guard.

1514. Obviously a teacher this is not a Sunday school teacher, the

1515. early church and have Sunday school teachers.

1516. This isn't something you can just teach with natural Billy.

1517. This is everybody in the body. Should be able as you grow to

1518. teach the word. But the office of a teacher that

1519. the minister gifted teacher actually is in full-time

1520. Ministry. And has an endowment endowment

1521. from God, a Divine teaching ability, It's Supernatural.

1522. Okay, this ministry, gift is great at watering the word Paul

1523. first. In chapter 3 said, Paul or

1524. Apollo's which was a teacher full-time teacher can look this

1525. up, it said some soda, but he watered that word and watering

1526. relieved, you revived and refreshed just like watering a

1527. plant leaves, you reviver and fresh at a spirit anointed

1528. teacher and that gift is going to really bring break down the

1529. word in a great instruction and water it.

1530. And you're really going to get watered and refreshed for your

1531. journey with a with the Lord. So I got 1 minute 10 seconds.

1532. So for the equipping of the saints, that means he's going to

1533. eat. Going to equip, he's going to

1534. supply everything. You have need of, he's going to

1535. fill you up and furnace, you for your journey for the work of the

1536. ministry. Listen, there's Ministry inside

1537. these walls. We have a vision partnership

1538. coming up this Saturday for people that are going to get

1539. connected with the vision. And guess what, as they come to

1540. church, are going to be equipped for that as you continue to

1541. come. You'll continue to grow why.

1542. So, you can also be powerful Witnesses without at your job,

1543. and your home at Walmart, in Public's, Weiss of the body.

1544. Of Christ is being edified that word edify means.

1545. This to build up or an architect, just the same way

1546. that God masterfully put together the Tabernacle in the

1547. Old Testament, Peter says, he's building to unto us a spiritual

1548. house today, you're part of that spiritual merits.
