Thanks for checking out the anger Faith Message podcast from
-
st. Augustine Florida.
-
Now enjoy this message. Well Happy Father's Day.
-
All right, turn it over to Genesis 1:26.
-
If we're going to talk about Father's we need to start in the
-
beginning, all right? And Genesis chapter 1 verse 26
-
to 28, it says this, then God said let us make man in our
-
image according to our likeness and let them rule over the fish
-
of the sea over, the birds of the sky over the cattle over all
-
the Earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on
-
the earth. God created man in his own
-
image. In the image of God, he created
-
him male and female he created them, God bless them and God
-
said to them, be fruitful multiply fill the Earth and
-
subdue it and rule over the fish of the sea over the birds of the
-
sky and over every living thing that lives on the earth.
-
I recently had someone send me a clip of a pastor who have the
-
audacity to actually stand in the Pulpit of his church.
-
And at like, if he was there when God started creation, that
-
he would actually submit to God that he should.
-
Probably get more options than male and female.
-
And based upon the name of their Church, the word trans is within
-
their Church name. And basically is saying, if you
-
identify in a trans situation you are welcome here.
-
Well you can be welcome to their church but you're not welcome in
-
the kingdom of God. And again, it's called
-
confusion. Again, this is not an attack on
-
someone what it is is it's the reality.
-
That there is a male-female, God created them and God identifies
-
only in those. Capacities for Humanity to take
-
up a different identification, it's ungodly.
-
So when someone is in that situation you should feel grief,
-
it should grieve. You don't get angry.
-
It should grieve you. Because the enemy has done a
-
really good job of distorting humanities image because the
-
enemy knows that God had an image for man.
-
Yeah. So when we talk about gender in
-
our society, today we are talking about attacking the very
-
creator. An order of image.
-
God said, who said God said let us make man in our image,
-
according to our likeness, and I'm going to create a male and a
-
female, which means there is a role associated with both, that
-
will be able to live in such and function in such a way in the
-
realm of dominion on the earth that they'll look just like me
-
and function, just like me. And for anyone to associate
-
otherwise they're choosing to live a substandard existence.
-
But worse in a situation that the scripture says will not
-
inherit the kingdom of God. So, we're going to talk about
-
fathers today, fathers are of the male type.
-
I said, they're of the male type of the male type, and you should
-
be excited that you are a male. If you are a male, they men we
-
should be excited. Tony Evans and in in Texas, he's
-
a pastor. He wrote this in his book
-
Kingdom Agenda, he said God's view, God views, the father, as
-
the representative head of the home in scripture, the father
-
was the one through whom and to whom God would speak and his job
-
was to transfer God's teaching to his wife and children.
-
That's why Satan seeks to get rid of dads when the primary
-
Presentative at home is gone, it places an extra burden on the
-
mother. Now, I need to caution the
-
women. Pull this scripture up, I wasn't
-
sure if I was going to go here but it's Malachi chapter 4 verse
-
6, okay? Malachi chapter 4 verse 6 but it
-
seems that I should go ahead and make this statement.
-
It says he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their
-
children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
-
This father here that the Bible says, the Lord is going to
-
restore, is a father that that has abandoned his position.
-
Yeah. Have we not seen in our society,
-
specifically, that the Satan has done a phenomenal job of reading
-
dad's, but Mom's, I want you to know God's going to talk to the
-
dads. Which means he's going to bring
-
them back to hit their kids. You don't want to stand in the
-
way and hinder the dad from being restored to the daughter.
-
Because if you say you weren't there, And you try to hinder.
-
It look what it says, will take place so that I will not come
-
and smite the land with a Now let's just be honest, all of us,
-
have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God sin is
-
selfishness. All right, and the man has been
-
attacked more than all Now some of you saying why is Pastor
-
Marcy, not preaching today, you said, pastor Marshall, was going
-
to preach, you're not ready for Basta Marcy, men.
-
No, we talked about it. She said, I really think you
-
should do the service. I said, well, they're expecting
-
you. She said it's going to be.
-
All right, I said, okay. And so I'm ministering today, I
-
ministered to the mothers on Mother's Day in no way shape or
-
form. Am I devaluing women?
-
Are you got to do is go back and listen to the message.
-
I'm not doing that and not nor am I not acknowledging our
-
understanding the attack on women itself?
-
But you have to understand, ladies, any attack on you is so
-
that you'll have a wrong image of a father in Nations where
-
women are still treated as property.
-
The enemy's attack is not that he wants them to be seen as
-
property. He wants them to look at men in
-
a way that they could never see the Father in heaven.
-
Some of the greatest issues that women have in the United States
-
today is because they've been without fathers and then when a
-
man of God enters into their life and are they go to church
-
and they begin to talk about father God.
-
They associate father God with the no-good deadbeat physical
-
man that they never saw or cared about And so restoration of the
-
home, becomes a conflict. But God's going to do a work in
-
the last days where he's going to start turning the hearts of
-
the fathers towards their children and it's a work of God.
-
Why? Because he wants their kids to
-
see a right representative of the father who is in heaven, and
-
listen, what more representative is that your children that you
-
had to raise on your own? See that their father repented
-
God. Not right with God is wanting to
-
do now, take responsibility and admit their failure.
-
No, maybe I'm talking to an online crowd right now, but all
-
I know is that even in this house here?
-
There have been broken homes, broken marriages situation that
-
have take place. And at the end of the day, do we
-
not just want people to be born again?
-
And if we want them to be born again, and restore than all
-
relationships should be restored because anything you did without
-
the father, God. Has already rewarded you for it.
-
Anointed you with it and help you with the burden you were
-
stuck with. He did not forsake.
-
You, he did not abandon you. but if the one who participated in
-
the process, however that happened, whether it was when
-
marriage or just fornication, the reality is is that if God's
-
restoring and they've repented and gotten right with God, then
-
we should open those doors and allow them to take place because
-
there's more healing that God wants to do.
-
Are you hearing me? Because the attack on man has
-
been Relentless. The male species is in the
-
direct sight of the enemy more than anyone else.
-
Are you hearing me? Adam was given a command in
-
Genesis chapter 2, verses 15 to 17.
-
It says, then the Lord God took the man put him in the Garden of
-
Eden, to cultivate it and to keep it and the Lord.
-
God commanded. The man saying from any tree of
-
the garden, you may eat freely but from the Tree of the
-
knowledge of Good and Evil, you shall not eat from the day.
-
You eat, you will surely want your you'll surely die.
-
You'll surely die again. We've preached a message at
-
another time in life concerning relations.
-
Ships. And in the book of Beginnings,
-
we realize God is self-sufficient.
-
God is self-contained. He doesn't need anyone.
-
The reason why he creates his because he's loved and loved
-
gives. So, man, does not complete God.
-
Are you hearing me? So out of selflessness, God
-
created beings and created man. It's for man's benefit that he's
-
with God. Are you hearing me?
-
But a relationship when God established relationship, with
-
man, it did not come without purpose.
-
So if there's no purpose, there's no relationship.
-
We want relationship without purpose.
-
But here's what purpose does purpose defines responsibility.
-
So we can say it this way you are in no relationship with
-
anyone. If you're not being a
-
responsible party in it and this is why the enemy has attacked.
-
Man so much is because he wants man to have benefits without
-
responsibility and in turn. Then hinders God, the father
-
because God the father is a father that is responsible.
-
He's responsible for all creation and he's responsible
-
for carrying out his word. And so when he tells his son,
-
whom he loves and is Made In His Image, you can eat from any tree
-
of the garden because he is a father who provides he's a
-
father who has given instruction.
-
He instructed his son. This is how you are to live in
-
the conduct yourself, on this planet.
-
I've given you the same ruling power in this earth.
-
Like I have in heaven, I've given you the Dominion of this
-
realm. Like I have to demean of my
-
realm I have provided you with all the resources necessary to
-
Rule. Now, I will instruct you on how
-
to rule but you will not rule if you disobey And there's one
-
tree, don't eat because the day you eat will be separated and my
-
relationship with you is predicated on your
-
responsibility. To keep the instructions of your
-
father. When Adam ate the fruit man fell
-
from Dominion. We call it the fall sin entered
-
the world and what happened to the relationship?
-
It was severed. It was severed because Adam
-
failed to maintain responsibility.
-
But God took the responsibility of his own word.
-
I said, man would be created in my image and in my likeness.
-
So in order for that to happen for me to be able to give man a
-
pathway to what I said, man, would be, I'm going to have to
-
send my son. and he's going to have to pay their price, but if
-
they'll call on his name I'll put them back in their position
-
because I said man would be that way and I'll Give All Humanity
-
the opportunity to get back in how I expected man to be not
-
only males, but females This enemy comes into the garden and
-
begins to talk to the wife. And why wouldn't she looks like
-
God too? She's deceived eats the fruit.
-
And what does she do now? Two voices are talking to Adam.
-
Not only Satan, but the wife because now she's deceived, but
-
he and an act of rebellion. Eats the fruit and sin through
-
one man. Adam through Adam, not through
-
Eve. So no, this the attack on Eve
-
was to get down Adam so again, when women are attacked, is
-
because they're going after father figure, because if we can
-
Crush father figure, do you know how many women really don't
-
have? The most intimate relationship
-
with God? They want to go to heaven, but
-
they're not intimate with him because of their natural
-
examples of men. So if you're a man in this house
-
right now, what you need to do is you need to realize your
-
whole lifestyle is an example to every woman and child in this
-
room. And you should only be
-
reflecting the father. You should only be reflecting
-
the father. Because my reflection of God the
-
father is not just for my wife and my children and my
-
grandchildren and my great-grandchildren is for
-
anyone. I ever come in contact with
-
because the responsibility of this relationship is bigger than
-
those who are in my home address.
-
So the call to manhood is bigger than just, the house is bigger
-
than your business. Are you hearing me God wants us
-
to be men that followed the instruction of the Lord Tony
-
Evans went on to say in his book Kingdom of Jenny says, what has
-
been lacking for. So long in our culture, our men
-
solidly living out their biblical places of leadership
-
and while God has given women, great gifts and abilities.
-
And while we could not function in our homes without them, the
-
great challenge for the church is to win many.
-
N and call them back to their rightful place of spiritual
-
responsibility as kings kingdom men.
-
Turn over to Hebrews chapter 12, Hebrews chapter 12.
Hebrews 12 chapter mention Hebrews 12 chapter mention
-
We sing a song on Father's Day about a mother's love.
-
It's good, isn't it? I always love it when we sing
-
that song because it is very reflective, but we and I talked
-
about this on Mother's Day. Is that a mother can function in
-
a way that she's calling it love and it is not love.
-
Because a father does a has the assignment of instruction.
-
Look at Hebrews chapter 12 will start in verse 5 now.
Hebrews 12 chapter mention
-
Verse 5 starts to communicate a verse that is found in Proverbs
-
Okay, they're highlighting. So, these all caps in this
-
passage here, when you see on the screen, The New American
-
Standard Bible. The all caps is telling you,
-
this is an Old Testament scripture, okay?
-
So again he goes on, have you forgotten the exhortation, which
-
is addressed to you as do we have a father?
-
Come on, do we have a father Our fathers in heaven.
-
Okay so if we're going to learn as men how to be Father's, you
-
got to go to your heavenly father women.
-
If you want to know how a father should function, you should look
-
at the heavenly father, you cannot view the heavenly father
-
through man alone. So, it says this, my son do not
-
regard lightly, the discipline of the Lord, nor faint, when he,
-
when you are reproved by him For Those whom the Lord. he what he
-
disciplines and he scourges every son whom he receives It
-
goes on, let will read this 2 verse 11.
-
It is for discipline that you endure, God deals with you as
-
with sons for what son is there whom his father does not
-
discipline. But if you are without
-
discipline of which all have become partakers then you are
-
illegitimate children and not Sons.
-
Furthermore we had Earthly father's to discipline us and we
-
respected them. Shall we not much rather be
-
subject to the father of spirits and live for.
-
They disciplined us for a short time as seems best to them but
-
he disciplines us for our good. So that we may share I share his
-
Holiness all discipline for the moment, seems not to be joyful
-
but sorrowful yet those who have been what trained by it
-
afterwards, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
-
Now, go back to verse 5. I want to break this down.
-
Hey, men Happy Father's Day in the garden.
-
God disciplines. Now, when we hear the word
-
discipline we meet, We think correction but discipline is not
-
just correction discipline. Also is instruction, in fact, in
-
this scripture here, in verse 6. It says whom the Lord, loves he
-
disciplines and he scourges so there's something there.
-
Between discipline and Scourge. The word discipline here is
-
actually means to train to give instruction scourging is the
-
correction. What is correction?
-
You didn't do my instruction. I tell our staff here.
-
Anyone that ever comes on staff and anchor Faith Church?
-
I said, if I ever come to you as the overseer of the ministry and
-
you've done something wrong and I say, hey guess what?
-
We really don't do it that way. And you never knew this, I am
-
not correcting you. I am giving you instruction
-
because you can do something wrong that you didn't know you
-
were doing wrong. And that's not correction,
-
because I'm not correcting. You didn't know, I'm letting,
-
you know, Your choice without information is not actually how
-
we do it. Now let me give you instruction
-
on how we do things so don't take what I'm saying.
-
Like you've done something wrong, take it.
-
As I was unaware. Thank you for letting me know
-
what's the right way? And I can do it now if I've
-
given you instructions on how to do it and you don't do it that
-
way. Then the next time I come and
-
have this conversation, it is called correction.
-
Are you hearing me? The problem is, is because all
-
of us have fallen short of the glory of God and sinned.
-
All of us lived, a life outside of God in are wrong.
-
We can't help but receive everything as correction.
-
We are the worst at it that the minute someone begins.
-
Oh. We're being corrected, we're
-
being corrected, we're being corrected.
-
Okay? We as the church have to change
-
that mentality because a lot of times when you come actually to
-
service, I'm giving you more instruction that I'm giving you
-
correction. Because if you don't know, God
-
hasn't revealed it yet, guess what?
-
He's given instruction. This is how you can receive
-
this. And this is how you can walk
-
here, and this is how you can be behave like that, and this is
-
who you are in Christ. It's called instruction.
-
Now, there's one way that we see instruction or we could call it
-
discipline that we tend to receive a little more in the
-
realm of instruction. Because later on the verse says,
-
whom he didn't win your discipline.
-
When you're first discipline is not Joy.
-
Joyful. So again, we immediately
-
associate that with being in trouble but you know what I
-
discipline myself to work out. It is not joyful while I'm doing
-
it. In fact, it becomes sometimes
-
downright painful. It hurts.
-
It'll make you scream, you'll get under some weight.
-
And your coach is telling you or you have your own personal
-
desire to do 10 and you're at 8:00 and you legs are shaking
-
like this. Like you ain't got another two
-
in you, right? So as you're allowing the weight
-
to come down, you're doing a little like this.
-
I remember when I used to do push-ups in the Army, there is
-
nothing worse. and seeing involuntary shaking, When you're
-
down and you're coming up and you're trying to come up that
-
drill sergeants, you know, trying to get you stronger and
-
you're like your whole body begins to just like convulse.
-
Like what are you doing? There's nothing left in the
-
tank, man. You're done.
-
And you just collapse under exhaustion, right?
-
But yet once you get up, you know, mentally speaking I'm
-
going to be stronger because of this, the next day you wake up
-
and you can't walk, you know, someone grabs your leg like and
-
it's self-inflicted, right? But why do you do it?
-
You discipline yourself because you want to become stronger,
-
better. More useful in summer.
-
Arena that itself is discipline. And so, the Lord disciplines us.
-
What is he doing? He wants us to exercise in a way
-
that we are stronger in the world.
-
He does this for his sons fathers.
-
The greatest thing you can do in the home is demonstrate
-
discipline. Discipline, you know how to
-
follow instruction? In the relationship with Adam
-
father. God creates his man in His image
-
of corn, his likeness gives him dominion and then all he wants
-
to do is he gives him instruction with the
-
expectation, follow it now be disciplined in your life.
-
To follow the instruction. The greatest example you can be
-
as a father in your home is to live a disciplined life.
-
To follow the instructions on the word.
-
It's the greatest thing you can do.
-
And if men would do this, then the whole house would change.
-
It is change. Because the Lord will instruct
-
you on how to treat your wife. He gives us instruction in the
-
word, how we are to treat them, how we are to respond to them.
-
How are we are to react? And if we will discipline
-
ourselves, So that we walk in those instructions.
-
And again, why is he doing it? Because he loves us.
-
He loves us. I said he loves us.
-
He loves us. This is what he does.
-
So, he gets said, my son, do not regard lightly, the discipline
-
of the Lord, nor faint, when he reproves you.
-
So, if he corrects you, when correction comes, don't fade,
-
don't get all upset, be thankful. and the reason why the
-
enemy has attacked the fathers in the home is because they were
-
to model what instruction and correction looks like Let me say
-
it this way. Father's if Mama is doing all
-
the correcting, you are failing. Mama should only have to look to
-
the children and say when your daddy gets home Now, I'm not
-
trying to relinquish you, you can give instruction you're
-
going to discipline yourself. I get it but yet but when the
-
father jumps in on that doing and you should be your daddy's
-
going to deal with this when he gets to that.
-
And that means when you get home, you can't like I've been
-
working all day. You ain't got, you have nothing
-
more important. Then the model instruction and
-
correction. Nothing is more important.
-
You should want to come home and not go to bed.
-
You should not come home and be served.
-
They can serve you because in your home, you should have a
-
climate of always want to serve each other.
-
But your kids should see this cold laboring together with your
-
spouse. This where y'all come together,
-
you're working together, you're doing things together.
-
You know, I'm coming to do my part now and you know my part
-
is, you know, going to talk to you Mama like that, you know,
-
Daddy's are doing this today even if they're in the home, the
-
kids are back talking to Mom and are watching sports.
-
And they want to know what's wrong with my kids, you're not
-
give, you're not loving them, bringing home, a vision is not
-
love. Provision is an owl source of
-
love, but provision comes because instruction is there.
-
It's amazing how the enemy has attacked us to the point that we
-
think we're doing a good job, because they have a roof over
-
their head clothes on their back food, in their belly.
-
What's the father say about this?
-
Jesus said, now, when you pray, pray this way, our father, he
-
started that Matthew 6, right? Then he kept preaching, and he
-
said, now don't worry about what you going.
-
What you going? You have any father knows that
-
but seek the kingdom and his go find his right, his instruction.
-
Be looking for the instruction and correction because that's
-
where life exists, not in what you're going to eat, what you're
-
going to drink, what you're going to wear and fathers are
-
bringing home, what she going to eat, what you're going to drink,
-
what you're going to wear and expect to be respected.
-
We've abdicated our role of Correction and instruction and
-
Mama's. If you don't watch out, you'll
-
say well, don't say that. You're being too hard.
-
Now again, the Bible does warn Us in Ephesians chapter 6.
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
Verse 4 says fathers. Do not exasperate your children,
-
but raise them up with loving disciplining counsel that brings
-
the revelation of Our Lord. Pat the passion translation is
-
really good. So, again, yes.
-
If you come from a natural father, from a selfish mentality
-
about is what about I worked hard all day.
-
I can't believe I got to put up with this.
-
I get your mum your from a Only from a different father, lineage
-
attitude. But when you're born of the
-
kingdom of God, then you're not going to give expectations to
-
your children that they can never obtain.
-
I have set with grown men who are wasting their potential
-
because today they are born again, but they are still trying
-
to prove themselves to a natural father.
-
That doesn't even live on the planet.
-
But only heard them say that whatever accolades they did,
-
they weren't good enough, they couldn't arrive.
-
In essence, they're living a life from an from being
-
exasperated by father, no matter how much I did.
-
I could, never please them enough.
-
You know, the Bible is very clear on how to please.
-
Our heavenly father, just do his word and he's always pleased,
-
it's impossible to please him without faith.
-
As long as you're in faith, he's like jacked.
-
He's excited and he gives you what you're believing.
-
You know, I did a righteousness class for Todd today because he
-
had to go with the youth and they have the last class.
-
I said, you know, think about it as a parent.
-
There's only one thing that really bothers me about my kids.
-
Is when they don't do what I say.
-
That's it. I mean, it's pretty simple.
-
You came from me, right? You're part of me.
-
You have my name, I love you. I mean, that's who we are here
-
of me yet. You don't do what I say.
-
And there's conflict. It's conflict.
-
And this is how it is with our own father.
-
You don't do what I say is conflict.
-
God, the father comes down the garden after Adam.
-
He's the fruit and says son, you're out of the house.
-
Mama's want to keep them in the house, daddy wants to put him
-
out of the house. We say that again, mama wants to
-
keep him in the house that he wants, put them out of the
-
house. Now, I'm not saying you
-
literally have to get your kids out of the house.
-
What I'm saying is you have to let Dad, hold them accountable
-
to what they did not do and have the consequence of it.
-
Do you know why we have a lawless society today?
-
We've raised children without fathers and they could have been
-
in the home now, but without father's that do instruction and
-
correction. They do not hold them
-
accountable for their action. Now, if you do, that might take
-
your phone, they do it. You take their phone for five
-
minutes, you give it back to him.
-
Are you don't take it away at all, you just talk them to death
-
and then they just continue to learn by you that you don't do
-
what you say but that's not what the heavenly father does.
-
The heavenly father does what he says.
-
I don't you eat this fruit, we separated and what did he call
-
us? Adam, you can't even say in the
-
garden son. Life's hard for you now.
-
Now, I'm going to provide a way but it's not going to come in
-
your lifetime. It didn't even come in his
-
natural Lifetime and he lived 900 and what 30 years.
-
All indication is Adam live, more life breathing in sin than
-
he did in the image of God. Wow.
-
So he tells us here that we should love this aspect of God.
-
Verse 7, says for it's the discipline that you endure.
-
Do you know how many kids can endure sitting at a table and
-
eating food in a restaurant? Now, whose fault is this?
-
The father's because they're not giving them instruction, you
-
give an instruction in the house but get it.
-
Why we don't even sit at a table, you don't even give any
-
type of training how to function in society.
-
How do I develop self-control? Everybody's eating the fast food
-
sitting in front of the TV. So guess what restaurants have
-
to do? Give the games.
-
And so we're passing around our phones or iPads being trained by
-
the prince of the power of the air.
-
I mean, think about it right now in the United States alone.
-
Do you understand people who are struggling with their actual
-
identity as male and female is less than 3%?
-
Yet you can't watch a TV show. Get on social media without it's
-
like, everyone is like this. This is normal yet, in reality.
-
It is extremely abnormal. In fact, there was a time in our
-
nation that we considered it Criminal.
-
You say, well I'm glad we changed will the kingdom didn't
-
change because the kingdom clearly defines all kind of
-
sexual immorality. And that's not a phobia, it's
-
called life. And that hasn't changed with
-
him. And so here instruction and
-
correction is a role of the father, and we're abdicating
-
this to our wives. To our schools.
-
And to television. To their friends.
-
Well, on my friends are doing it.
-
I don't care. Everyone in my class has a
-
cellphone so Every one of your classroom can't handle cellphone
-
behalf and all I was looking at pornography anyway.
-
And all of them are texting their body parts to each other.
-
Anyway. Just say, Amen.
-
When I give an instruction, we're not even following
-
through. Like, man, I can't believe the
-
world's like this. This is what happens when
-
father's abdicate. Instruction and correction,
-
because it creates a society that I am not held accountable
-
for my actions. I mean, how in the world can in
-
San Francisco people. Rob stores and open in broad
-
daylight. Cameras and everything.
-
And if they are apprehended out the next day, doing the same
-
thing, What develops this mentality?
-
We do not hold people accountable to what we say, but
-
that's not the kingdom. That's not our father in Heaven.
-
Our Father in heaven will hold everyone accountable to whatever
-
they've done. . because he's a father of instruction and again
-
if we want to endure is for discipline.
-
Is for discipline. Is for discipline, is for
-
discipline. Pastor Brandon, he's giving this
-
testimony to us and the church. It Bears repeating this morning
-
and that is this. His grandfather was diagnosed
-
with cancer his grandfather. So, his grandfather got online
-
began to, you know, look and try to figure out got online.
-
I mean, he's like, 80 something years old.
-
He's like, I want to live and not die. so he went on and he's
-
like, They say oxygen is good if ice cancer.
-
So at 80, he started running. He started running, he
-
disciplined himself every day to run he's cancer-free today and
-
still alive. Pastor Brandon's father was
-
diagnosed with cancer. But he would not discipline
-
himself to change and he's in the grave today.
-
So his natural father our pastor brain is Grandfather, outlived
-
his own son because the discipline That was the
-
difference. Not that God couldn't heal them
-
both God could but they were still natural things that need
-
to take place. One has endured in the earth
-
longer than the other for that principle and that principle
-
alone. We have people suffering with
-
diabetes and all kinds of stuff and the only reason why half of
-
the things that are in their body today is because they won't
-
discipline themselves, and how they eat Discipline.
-
There are 300 different sausages in Poland.
-
I had four of them Gumble Amor. No good.
-
I wouldn't eat them. I never eat them again.
-
He's some look so bad. You just can't get past what it
-
looks like something I can eat that.
-
Are you hearing me? I mean, you can.
-
All things are permissible but not all things are profitable.
-
And when you realize certain things that aren't profitable
-
for you, what will cause you to endure is discipline?
-
And it's not God's fault. If you want to grow spiritually,
-
you have to discipline yourself to come to church.
-
The salmon, you had great opportunities not to come.
-
You like you have to pass? There's no, I don't know.
-
A lot of people who can preach. I mean y'all call into work all
-
the time. You don't believe the
-
organization going to fall apart because you call out as you want
-
to go to the beach. Instead, it's such a beautiful
-
day. I mean, it was beautiful this
-
morning, I thought and uh, I've been in Poland.
-
It was 60 degrees. I want to go lay on the beach,
-
but I got to go Tuesday to the youth meeting.
-
When's that going to happen? You know what I'm calling in
-
Steve, You Preach, right? I could have Pastor Tim preach.
-
You could do something else, but why do you for discipline?
-
Why do we read the Bible? All the time discipline?
-
It's a discipline because discipline is why you endure?
-
And I'm thankful that God is constantly giving me
-
instruction. I'm thankful that God is always
-
talking to me and saying, hey son, do this to do this, or he's
-
all if he, if I ever get out or do something that I shouldn't,
-
he's like, hey, you need to make an adjustment, you know why they
-
let me know? I'm not an illegitimate child
-
because if you're like, I don't want God to correct me.
-
I want him telling me what to do, then you're an illegitimate
-
child. In fact, one translation calls,
-
you a bastard, Word. That's not cuss word is just a
-
word that means illegitimate child, okay?
-
So at the end of the day, you are you either acknowledging
-
that you want to be illegitimate, but still get to
-
heaven. So in essence father's, when you
-
do not discipline and give instruction, you really can't
-
communicate to your child, you're really not mine.
-
Just say, Amen. Anyway.
-
Because I'm gonna tell you right now, our society is telling
-
parents, how to train their kids telling them how to correct it.
-
Don't you spank a child? Don't do it.
-
Now, you need to talk to them. Tell them what they did.
-
I don't have no problem. God always instructs first, but
-
there are children at certain ages that the rod of Correction,
-
the Bible says, will drive hell far from them.
-
We're not talking abuse. We are talking correction
-
through a physical action that redirects their potential.
-
And God said to do that. And for you to think that that's
-
not godly and anyone doing it as abusive, your of the devil would
-
you're thinking, And as a parent, if you will not be
-
willing to correct your child. That way you are allowing
-
worldliness to come in. Now, I'm going to be.
-
Honestly some kids you're not going to do us often as others.
-
but if you take it off the table, Then you're saying God
-
did not know how to correct. God's standard is always.
-
Instruction. But even his own nation suffered
-
physically when they disobeyed. Suffered physically.
-
They would be taken over by Nations, some would die, and
-
that's worse. That's worse.
-
He said when I don't have to spank my child, praise God.
-
That just means they're obedient.
-
What's the problem? What's the problem?
-
but for those who receive correction, Your life.
-
Thank God. My dad, and he wasn't even born
-
again. Instill, the fear of God in my
-
life and not because he beat me because he probably whip me this
-
many times in my life 5, he actually abdicated his
-
instruction. But he would do it. if my mom
-
said it's going to require you, Does change his thinking.
-
And when Mama told me Daddy was going to take care of me when I
-
got home. And you know what?
-
He only whip me one time it was only one lick.
-
But it had the capacity to awaken my senses.
-
It never left a mark. But it was something about
-
coming from him that Force. And I'll tell you, I would
-
change. On a longer duration.
-
If my mom was the only one discipline me, it would be
-
shorter term. I would push the envelope more
-
often. but when Dad got involved, My righteous living
-
live longer. It really wasn't the physical
-
action. It was looking into his eyes
-
blue eyes and black hair. And knowing that, I've done
-
something that has warranted this.
-
And my dad when I'm born again. That's the power of father.
-
Do I love my mom? Yes.
-
But it's something whole another ballgame to discipline
-
disappoint. My father.
-
You know how? I know this is true.
-
Because as many fatherless people right now, they still
-
just want the acceptance of their father.
-
They never met It's amazing. You can even adopt a child, love
-
them. Like God.
-
They're still going to have a desire to want the birth one.
-
To accept them. The craziest thing.
-
But God designed man so that he would give these instructions
-
and correction in the home. That would create a Godly
-
Society. A Godly Society will never not
-
have instruction go back to the beginning.
-
Has Adam blown. It has he made any mistakes?
-
No. But is he getting instruction?
-
Yep. And his, he expect, is he
-
expected by the father to discipline himself to live that
-
way of his own free will. And every day and every year I'm
-
going to pull fruit from this tree and not this one.
-
I'm going to pull fruit from this tree and not this one from
-
that tree and not this one. Because I love Dad.
-
This is what he has instructed, and I want to please him. so,
-
when there's a new Heaven and new earth, And sin has been
-
dealt with once and for all. Thrown into the Lake of Fire,
-
which is the second death. And there'll be no more sin at
-
all, they'll still be instruction from Dad that he
-
expects his children to say yes Dad love to do that.
-
It's my pleasure to continue to do that.
-
I want to do that. Because you're telling me you
-
love me. And I'll discipline myself for
-
eternity. To live this way.
-
Let me close with this. Oh, I would say charge.
-
I would call it a charge. Because it's important Tony
-
Evans said in his kingdom agenda book.
-
He said if a father leaves or is passive in the home, the enemy
-
knows he can raise a boy or a child to be an undisciplined and
-
irresponsible individual. so even if you're in the home, if
-
you're not taking, The position of no, I'm going to bring this
-
instruction from the word. It's how we live.
-
This is our culture, this is how our at environment is.
-
For all those that are divorced and you have kids come in and
-
out, show them righteousness. I understand that they're going
-
to talk to you and and act like they don't want to be around you
-
and that you're too restrictive. I get it but you're the only
-
godliness they're seeing. Well, I don't want them to come
-
over all the time and all they do is get in trouble.
-
It's their choice. They don't have to do that.
-
They know the rules. You have to follow through.
-
Now, you create those based upon what they know.
-
But you need to demonstrate instruction and correction when
-
they're in your home. Because it's the only thing that
-
can help pull them back to the heavenly father because when
-
they get born again, least it should be.
-
That were like all right. Dad teach me something.
-
Amen. I question anyone who says they
-
gave their heart to the Lord, but will not hear the
-
instructions of the father. I would question it.
-
I won't judge it but I will question it.
-
Because you cannot manipulate the father.
-
This is what we raise when we do not instruct and correct
-
children, who will manipulate give me the benefit.
-
I'm not taking the responsibility.
-
I won't heaven without you. I mean I want you there but
-
don't you tell me what to do? I mean as long as you stay on
-
your side I'll see you. Stay on your throne, I'll get
-
them on. I mean, I just don't want go to
-
hell, you understand this? No, you got to love him and to
-
love him is to do his work. Y'all doing all right?
-
Okay. I don't have like depressed
-
parents right now because your child is going to camp and
-
you're missing him already. Are you?
-
I mean I told Pastor Brian I said you tell all them parents,
-
when they drop them off, don't go home and go to bed.
-
Miss church. He said I'm going to tell him to
-
go down to kookaburra and get them a cup of coffee and come
-
right back and give you are for prayer.
-
So I'll get the list of whose children are gone.
-
And I'll see if you were here today.
-
Just kidding. All right.
-
Proverbs chapter 4. Let me give you this charge
Proverbs 4 chapter mention
-
instructions from the Father Here, All Sons, the instruction
-
of the father give attention that you may gain understanding.
-
For I give you sound teaching, do not abandon my instruction.
-
When I was a son to my father tender and the only son in the
-
side of my mother, Then he taught me and said to me, let
-
your heart. Hold fast my words, keep my
-
Commandments and live acquire wisdom, acquire.
-
Understanding, do not forget or turn away from the words of my
-
mouth, do not forsake her and she will guard.
-
You love her and she will watch over you.
-
The beginning of wisdom is acquire wisdom and with all
-
acquiring get understanding, prize her and she will exalt
-
you. She will honor you, if you
-
Embrace her, she will play Xuan place on your head, a Garland of
-
Grace. She will present you with a
-
crown of beauty here, my son and accept my sayings and the years
-
of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way
-
of wisdom I have led you in up right paths.
-
When you walk your steps will not be impeded and if you run
-
you will not stumble. Take hold of instruction.
-
Do not let go guard her for. She is Is your life.
-
See the roll you met you, you bring to your family father's
-
when you give instruction and correction.
-
You're modeling our heavenly father verse 14 says, do not
-
enter the path of the wicked. Do not proceed in the way of
-
evil. Avoid it, do not pass by it,
-
turn away from it and pass on for, they cannot sleep unless
-
they do evil. And they are robbed of sleep.
-
Unless they make someone stumble for they eat the bread of
-
wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
-
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that
-
shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
-
The day of the wicked is like, Darkness, they Not know over
-
what? They stumble, my son.
-
Give attention to my words incline.
-
Your ears to my saying do not. Let them depart from your site,
-
keep them in the midst of your heart for.
-
They are life to those who find them and health to all their
-
body watch over your heart with all diligence for from it flows,
-
the Springs of Life, put away from you, a deceitful mouth and
-
put devious speech far from you, let your eyes look directly at.
-
Ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you, watch
-
the path of your feet and all your ways will be established,
-
do not turn to the right or to the left, turn your foot from
-
evil. Fathers, when you take the role
-
of the heavenly, father, in the home to bring instruction.
-
Correction. You bring life.
-
Do not abdicate this position. Do not abdicate it.
-
For those who are being reintroduced to their children.
-
Walk in wisdom. In their minds.
-
You've already advocated your ability to instruct and correct.
-
So, you're going to have to demonstrate serving.
-
Serving. serving, but in all you're serving, you can continue
-
to communicate. how you received instruction and you received in
-
correction and you made adjustments, and then you can
-
model that. For those who have been
-
re-engaged with their children, you have the responsibility to
-
show them the word. But if you don't know the words,
-
you can't demonstrate it, you cannot separate God from the
-
word because God is the word. God is the word wives.
-
If your husband is a man of the word, you should cherish that
-
And when would they want to give instruction according to the
-
word you should applaud. because you'll be able to say, That's
-
our Father. God damn coming into the house.
-
Now know, it's going to be sorrowful.
-
When it first comes. Both in the positive training
-
side. Like I said in weightlifting but
-
also in the correcting side, Is going to hurt.
-
It's going to cut against their will.
-
It's going to be conflict. But when they're fully trained,
-
it will yield. The peaceful fruit of
-
righteousness. The peaceful fruit of
-
righteousness. Instruction is not subjective.
-
It's not even opinion. When we're modeling our heavenly
-
father, it's just his word on the matter.
-
When you act on that. You bring life into the home.
-
Amen. I thank God that he loves me and
-
he loves me. Not because I fell out in the
-
spirit one day. Not because I laugh done with
-
the Holy Ghost for a long time. Not because I ran around the
-
church. Not because someone gave me
-
money. but because he gave me that, which to hold on to
-
instruction, Wisdom understanding.
-
Because he's a good father because his words are life.
