  1. Thanks for checking out the anger Faith Message podcast from

  2. st. Augustine Florida.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Well Happy Father's Day.

  4. All right, turn it over to Genesis 1:26.

    Genesis 1:26

  5. If we're going to talk about Father's we need to start in the

  6. beginning, all right? And Genesis chapter 1 verse 26

    Genesis 1:26–28

  7. to 28, it says this, then God said let us make man in our

  8. image according to our likeness and let them rule over the fish

  9. of the sea over, the birds of the sky over the cattle over all

  10. the Earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on

  11. the earth. God created man in his own

  12. image. In the image of God, he created

  13. him male and female he created them, God bless them and God

  14. said to them, be fruitful multiply fill the Earth and

  15. subdue it and rule over the fish of the sea over the birds of the

  16. sky and over every living thing that lives on the earth.

  17. I recently had someone send me a clip of a pastor who have the

  18. audacity to actually stand in the Pulpit of his church.

  19. And at like, if he was there when God started creation, that

  20. he would actually submit to God that he should.

  21. Probably get more options than male and female.

  22. And based upon the name of their Church, the word trans is within

  23. their Church name. And basically is saying, if you

  24. identify in a trans situation you are welcome here.

  25. Well you can be welcome to their church but you're not welcome in

  26. the kingdom of God. And again, it's called

  27. confusion. Again, this is not an attack on

  28. someone what it is is it's the reality.

  29. That there is a male-female, God created them and God identifies

  30. only in those. Capacities for Humanity to take

  31. up a different identification, it's ungodly.

  32. So when someone is in that situation you should feel grief,

  33. it should grieve. You don't get angry.

  34. It should grieve you. Because the enemy has done a

  35. really good job of distorting humanities image because the

  36. enemy knows that God had an image for man.

  37. Yeah. So when we talk about gender in

  38. our society, today we are talking about attacking the very

  39. creator. An order of image.

  40. God said, who said God said let us make man in our image,

  41. according to our likeness, and I'm going to create a male and a

  42. female, which means there is a role associated with both, that

  43. will be able to live in such and function in such a way in the

  44. realm of dominion on the earth that they'll look just like me

  45. and function, just like me. And for anyone to associate

  46. otherwise they're choosing to live a substandard existence.

  47. But worse in a situation that the scripture says will not

  48. inherit the kingdom of God. So, we're going to talk about

  49. fathers today, fathers are of the male type.

  50. I said, they're of the male type of the male type, and you should

  51. be excited that you are a male. If you are a male, they men we

  52. should be excited. Tony Evans and in in Texas, he's

  53. a pastor. He wrote this in his book

  54. Kingdom Agenda, he said God's view, God views, the father, as

  55. the representative head of the home in scripture, the father

  56. was the one through whom and to whom God would speak and his job

  57. was to transfer God's teaching to his wife and children.

  58. That's why Satan seeks to get rid of dads when the primary

  59. Presentative at home is gone, it places an extra burden on the

  60. mother. Now, I need to caution the

  61. women. Pull this scripture up, I wasn't

  62. sure if I was going to go here but it's Malachi chapter 4 verse

    Malachi 4:6

  63. 6, okay? Malachi chapter 4 verse 6 but it

    Malachi 4:6

  64. seems that I should go ahead and make this statement.

  65. It says he will restore the hearts of the fathers to their

  66. children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.

  67. This father here that the Bible says, the Lord is going to

  68. restore, is a father that that has abandoned his position.

  69. Yeah. Have we not seen in our society,

  70. specifically, that the Satan has done a phenomenal job of reading

  71. dad's, but Mom's, I want you to know God's going to talk to the

  72. dads. Which means he's going to bring

  73. them back to hit their kids. You don't want to stand in the

  74. way and hinder the dad from being restored to the daughter.

  75. Because if you say you weren't there, And you try to hinder.

  76. It look what it says, will take place so that I will not come

  77. and smite the land with a Now let's just be honest, all of us,

  78. have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God sin is

  79. selfishness. All right, and the man has been

  80. attacked more than all Now some of you saying why is Pastor

  81. Marcy, not preaching today, you said, pastor Marshall, was going

  82. to preach, you're not ready for Basta Marcy, men.

  83. No, we talked about it. She said, I really think you

  84. should do the service. I said, well, they're expecting

  85. you. She said it's going to be.

  86. All right, I said, okay. And so I'm ministering today, I

  87. ministered to the mothers on Mother's Day in no way shape or

  88. form. Am I devaluing women?

  89. Are you got to do is go back and listen to the message.

  90. I'm not doing that and not nor am I not acknowledging our

  91. understanding the attack on women itself?

  92. But you have to understand, ladies, any attack on you is so

  93. that you'll have a wrong image of a father in Nations where

  94. women are still treated as property.

  95. The enemy's attack is not that he wants them to be seen as

  96. property. He wants them to look at men in

  97. a way that they could never see the Father in heaven.

  98. Some of the greatest issues that women have in the United States

  99. today is because they've been without fathers and then when a

  100. man of God enters into their life and are they go to church

  101. and they begin to talk about father God.

  102. They associate father God with the no-good deadbeat physical

  103. man that they never saw or cared about And so restoration of the

  104. home, becomes a conflict. But God's going to do a work in

  105. the last days where he's going to start turning the hearts of

  106. the fathers towards their children and it's a work of God.

  107. Why? Because he wants their kids to

  108. see a right representative of the father who is in heaven, and

  109. listen, what more representative is that your children that you

  110. had to raise on your own? See that their father repented

  111. God. Not right with God is wanting to

  112. do now, take responsibility and admit their failure.

  113. No, maybe I'm talking to an online crowd right now, but all

  114. I know is that even in this house here?

  115. There have been broken homes, broken marriages situation that

  116. have take place. And at the end of the day, do we

  117. not just want people to be born again?

  118. And if we want them to be born again, and restore than all

  119. relationships should be restored because anything you did without

  120. the father, God. Has already rewarded you for it.

  121. Anointed you with it and help you with the burden you were

  122. stuck with. He did not forsake.

  123. You, he did not abandon you. but if the one who participated in

  124. the process, however that happened, whether it was when

  125. marriage or just fornication, the reality is is that if God's

  126. restoring and they've repented and gotten right with God, then

  127. we should open those doors and allow them to take place because

  128. there's more healing that God wants to do.

  129. Are you hearing me? Because the attack on man has

  130. been Relentless. The male species is in the

  131. direct sight of the enemy more than anyone else.

  132. Are you hearing me? Adam was given a command in

  133. Genesis chapter 2, verses 15 to 17.

    Genesis 2:15–17

  134. It says, then the Lord God took the man put him in the Garden of

  135. Eden, to cultivate it and to keep it and the Lord.

  136. God commanded. The man saying from any tree of

  137. the garden, you may eat freely but from the Tree of the

  138. knowledge of Good and Evil, you shall not eat from the day.

  139. You eat, you will surely want your you'll surely die.

  140. You'll surely die again. We've preached a message at

  141. another time in life concerning relations.

  142. Ships. And in the book of Beginnings,

  143. we realize God is self-sufficient.

  144. God is self-contained. He doesn't need anyone.

  145. The reason why he creates his because he's loved and loved

  146. gives. So, man, does not complete God.

  147. Are you hearing me? So out of selflessness, God

  148. created beings and created man. It's for man's benefit that he's

  149. with God. Are you hearing me?

  150. But a relationship when God established relationship, with

  151. man, it did not come without purpose.

  152. So if there's no purpose, there's no relationship.

  153. We want relationship without purpose.

  154. But here's what purpose does purpose defines responsibility.

  155. So we can say it this way you are in no relationship with

  156. anyone. If you're not being a

  157. responsible party in it and this is why the enemy has attacked.

  158. Man so much is because he wants man to have benefits without

  159. responsibility and in turn. Then hinders God, the father

  160. because God the father is a father that is responsible.

  161. He's responsible for all creation and he's responsible

  162. for carrying out his word. And so when he tells his son,

  163. whom he loves and is Made In His Image, you can eat from any tree

  164. of the garden because he is a father who provides he's a

  165. father who has given instruction.

  166. He instructed his son. This is how you are to live in

  167. the conduct yourself, on this planet.

  168. I've given you the same ruling power in this earth.

  169. Like I have in heaven, I've given you the Dominion of this

  170. realm. Like I have to demean of my

  171. realm I have provided you with all the resources necessary to

  172. Rule. Now, I will instruct you on how

  173. to rule but you will not rule if you disobey And there's one

  174. tree, don't eat because the day you eat will be separated and my

  175. relationship with you is predicated on your

  176. responsibility. To keep the instructions of your

  177. father. When Adam ate the fruit man fell

  178. from Dominion. We call it the fall sin entered

  179. the world and what happened to the relationship?

  180. It was severed. It was severed because Adam

  181. failed to maintain responsibility.

  182. But God took the responsibility of his own word.

  183. I said, man would be created in my image and in my likeness.

  184. So in order for that to happen for me to be able to give man a

  185. pathway to what I said, man, would be, I'm going to have to

  186. send my son. and he's going to have to pay their price, but if

  187. they'll call on his name I'll put them back in their position

  188. because I said man would be that way and I'll Give All Humanity

  189. the opportunity to get back in how I expected man to be not

  190. only males, but females This enemy comes into the garden and

  191. begins to talk to the wife. And why wouldn't she looks like

  192. God too? She's deceived eats the fruit.

  193. And what does she do now? Two voices are talking to Adam.

  194. Not only Satan, but the wife because now she's deceived, but

  195. he and an act of rebellion. Eats the fruit and sin through

  196. one man. Adam through Adam, not through

  197. Eve. So no, this the attack on Eve

  198. was to get down Adam so again, when women are attacked, is

  199. because they're going after father figure, because if we can

  200. Crush father figure, do you know how many women really don't

  201. have? The most intimate relationship

  202. with God? They want to go to heaven, but

  203. they're not intimate with him because of their natural

  204. examples of men. So if you're a man in this house

  205. right now, what you need to do is you need to realize your

  206. whole lifestyle is an example to every woman and child in this

  207. room. And you should only be

  208. reflecting the father. You should only be reflecting

  209. the father. Because my reflection of God the

  210. father is not just for my wife and my children and my

  211. grandchildren and my great-grandchildren is for

  212. anyone. I ever come in contact with

  213. because the responsibility of this relationship is bigger than

  214. those who are in my home address.

  215. So the call to manhood is bigger than just, the house is bigger

  216. than your business. Are you hearing me God wants us

  217. to be men that followed the instruction of the Lord Tony

  218. Evans went on to say in his book Kingdom of Jenny says, what has

  219. been lacking for. So long in our culture, our men

  220. solidly living out their biblical places of leadership

  221. and while God has given women, great gifts and abilities.

  222. And while we could not function in our homes without them, the

  223. great challenge for the church is to win many.

  224. N and call them back to their rightful place of spiritual

  225. responsibility as kings kingdom men.

  226. Turn over to Hebrews chapter 12, Hebrews chapter 12.

Hebrews 12 chapter mention Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  227. We sing a song on Father's Day about a mother's love.

  228. It's good, isn't it? I always love it when we sing

  229. that song because it is very reflective, but we and I talked

  230. about this on Mother's Day. Is that a mother can function in

  231. a way that she's calling it love and it is not love.

  232. Because a father does a has the assignment of instruction.

  233. Look at Hebrews chapter 12 will start in verse 5 now.

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  234. Verse 5 starts to communicate a verse that is found in Proverbs

  235. Okay, they're highlighting. So, these all caps in this

  236. passage here, when you see on the screen, The New American

  237. Standard Bible. The all caps is telling you,

  238. this is an Old Testament scripture, okay?

  239. So again he goes on, have you forgotten the exhortation, which

  240. is addressed to you as do we have a father?

  241. Come on, do we have a father Our fathers in heaven.

  242. Okay so if we're going to learn as men how to be Father's, you

  243. got to go to your heavenly father women.

  244. If you want to know how a father should function, you should look

  245. at the heavenly father, you cannot view the heavenly father

  246. through man alone. So, it says this, my son do not

  247. regard lightly, the discipline of the Lord, nor faint, when he,

  248. when you are reproved by him For Those whom the Lord. he what he

  249. disciplines and he scourges every son whom he receives It

  250. goes on, let will read this 2 verse 11.

  251. It is for discipline that you endure, God deals with you as

  252. with sons for what son is there whom his father does not

  253. discipline. But if you are without

  254. discipline of which all have become partakers then you are

  255. illegitimate children and not Sons.

  256. Furthermore we had Earthly father's to discipline us and we

  257. respected them. Shall we not much rather be

  258. subject to the father of spirits and live for.

  259. They disciplined us for a short time as seems best to them but

  260. he disciplines us for our good. So that we may share I share his

  261. Holiness all discipline for the moment, seems not to be joyful

  262. but sorrowful yet those who have been what trained by it

  263. afterwards, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

  264. Now, go back to verse 5. I want to break this down.

  265. Hey, men Happy Father's Day in the garden.

  266. God disciplines. Now, when we hear the word

  267. discipline we meet, We think correction but discipline is not

  268. just correction discipline. Also is instruction, in fact, in

  269. this scripture here, in verse 6. It says whom the Lord, loves he

  270. disciplines and he scourges so there's something there.

  271. Between discipline and Scourge. The word discipline here is

  272. actually means to train to give instruction scourging is the

  273. correction. What is correction?

  274. You didn't do my instruction. I tell our staff here.

  275. Anyone that ever comes on staff and anchor Faith Church?

  276. I said, if I ever come to you as the overseer of the ministry and

  277. you've done something wrong and I say, hey guess what?

  278. We really don't do it that way. And you never knew this, I am

  279. not correcting you. I am giving you instruction

  280. because you can do something wrong that you didn't know you

  281. were doing wrong. And that's not correction,

  282. because I'm not correcting. You didn't know, I'm letting,

  283. you know, Your choice without information is not actually how

  284. we do it. Now let me give you instruction

  285. on how we do things so don't take what I'm saying.

  286. Like you've done something wrong, take it.

  287. As I was unaware. Thank you for letting me know

  288. what's the right way? And I can do it now if I've

  289. given you instructions on how to do it and you don't do it that

  290. way. Then the next time I come and

  291. have this conversation, it is called correction.

  292. Are you hearing me? The problem is, is because all

  293. of us have fallen short of the glory of God and sinned.

  294. All of us lived, a life outside of God in are wrong.

  295. We can't help but receive everything as correction.

  296. We are the worst at it that the minute someone begins.

  297. Oh. We're being corrected, we're

  298. being corrected, we're being corrected.

  299. Okay? We as the church have to change

  300. that mentality because a lot of times when you come actually to

  301. service, I'm giving you more instruction that I'm giving you

  302. correction. Because if you don't know, God

  303. hasn't revealed it yet, guess what?

  304. He's given instruction. This is how you can receive

  305. this. And this is how you can walk

  306. here, and this is how you can be behave like that, and this is

  307. who you are in Christ. It's called instruction.

  308. Now, there's one way that we see instruction or we could call it

  309. discipline that we tend to receive a little more in the

  310. realm of instruction. Because later on the verse says,

  311. whom he didn't win your discipline.

  312. When you're first discipline is not Joy.

  313. Joyful. So again, we immediately

  314. associate that with being in trouble but you know what I

  315. discipline myself to work out. It is not joyful while I'm doing

  316. it. In fact, it becomes sometimes

  317. downright painful. It hurts.

  318. It'll make you scream, you'll get under some weight.

  319. And your coach is telling you or you have your own personal

  320. desire to do 10 and you're at 8:00 and you legs are shaking

  321. like this. Like you ain't got another two

  322. in you, right? So as you're allowing the weight

  323. to come down, you're doing a little like this.

  324. I remember when I used to do push-ups in the Army, there is

  325. nothing worse. and seeing involuntary shaking, When you're

  326. down and you're coming up and you're trying to come up that

  327. drill sergeants, you know, trying to get you stronger and

  328. you're like your whole body begins to just like convulse.

  329. Like what are you doing? There's nothing left in the

  330. tank, man. You're done.

  331. And you just collapse under exhaustion, right?

  332. But yet once you get up, you know, mentally speaking I'm

  333. going to be stronger because of this, the next day you wake up

  334. and you can't walk, you know, someone grabs your leg like and

  335. it's self-inflicted, right? But why do you do it?

  336. You discipline yourself because you want to become stronger,

  337. better. More useful in summer.

  338. Arena that itself is discipline. And so, the Lord disciplines us.

  339. What is he doing? He wants us to exercise in a way

  340. that we are stronger in the world.

  341. He does this for his sons fathers.

  342. The greatest thing you can do in the home is demonstrate

  343. discipline. Discipline, you know how to

  344. follow instruction? In the relationship with Adam

  345. father. God creates his man in His image

  346. of corn, his likeness gives him dominion and then all he wants

  347. to do is he gives him instruction with the

  348. expectation, follow it now be disciplined in your life.

  349. To follow the instruction. The greatest example you can be

  350. as a father in your home is to live a disciplined life.

  351. To follow the instructions on the word.

  352. It's the greatest thing you can do.

  353. And if men would do this, then the whole house would change.

  354. It is change. Because the Lord will instruct

  355. you on how to treat your wife. He gives us instruction in the

  356. word, how we are to treat them, how we are to respond to them.

  357. How are we are to react? And if we will discipline

  358. ourselves, So that we walk in those instructions.

  359. And again, why is he doing it? Because he loves us.

  360. He loves us. I said he loves us.

  361. He loves us. This is what he does.

  362. So, he gets said, my son, do not regard lightly, the discipline

  363. of the Lord, nor faint, when he reproves you.

  364. So, if he corrects you, when correction comes, don't fade,

  365. don't get all upset, be thankful. and the reason why the

  366. enemy has attacked the fathers in the home is because they were

  367. to model what instruction and correction looks like Let me say

  368. it this way. Father's if Mama is doing all

  369. the correcting, you are failing. Mama should only have to look to

  370. the children and say when your daddy gets home Now, I'm not

  371. trying to relinquish you, you can give instruction you're

  372. going to discipline yourself. I get it but yet but when the

  373. father jumps in on that doing and you should be your daddy's

  374. going to deal with this when he gets to that.

  375. And that means when you get home, you can't like I've been

  376. working all day. You ain't got, you have nothing

  377. more important. Then the model instruction and

  378. correction. Nothing is more important.

  379. You should want to come home and not go to bed.

  380. You should not come home and be served.

  381. They can serve you because in your home, you should have a

  382. climate of always want to serve each other.

  383. But your kids should see this cold laboring together with your

  384. spouse. This where y'all come together,

  385. you're working together, you're doing things together.

  386. You know, I'm coming to do my part now and you know my part

  387. is, you know, going to talk to you Mama like that, you know,

  388. Daddy's are doing this today even if they're in the home, the

  389. kids are back talking to Mom and are watching sports.

  390. And they want to know what's wrong with my kids, you're not

  391. give, you're not loving them, bringing home, a vision is not

  392. love. Provision is an owl source of

  393. love, but provision comes because instruction is there.

  394. It's amazing how the enemy has attacked us to the point that we

  395. think we're doing a good job, because they have a roof over

  396. their head clothes on their back food, in their belly.

  397. What's the father say about this?

  398. Jesus said, now, when you pray, pray this way, our father, he

  399. started that Matthew 6, right? Then he kept preaching, and he

  400. said, now don't worry about what you going.

  401. What you going? You have any father knows that

  402. but seek the kingdom and his go find his right, his instruction.

  403. Be looking for the instruction and correction because that's

  404. where life exists, not in what you're going to eat, what you're

  405. going to drink, what you're going to wear and fathers are

  406. bringing home, what she going to eat, what you're going to drink,

  407. what you're going to wear and expect to be respected.

  408. We've abdicated our role of Correction and instruction and

  409. Mama's. If you don't watch out, you'll

  410. say well, don't say that. You're being too hard.

  411. Now again, the Bible does warn Us in Ephesians chapter 6.

    Ephesians 6 chapter mention

  412. Verse 4 says fathers. Do not exasperate your children,

  413. but raise them up with loving disciplining counsel that brings

  414. the revelation of Our Lord. Pat the passion translation is

  415. really good. So, again, yes.

  416. If you come from a natural father, from a selfish mentality

  417. about is what about I worked hard all day.

  418. I can't believe I got to put up with this.

  419. I get your mum your from a Only from a different father, lineage

  420. attitude. But when you're born of the

  421. kingdom of God, then you're not going to give expectations to

  422. your children that they can never obtain.

  423. I have set with grown men who are wasting their potential

  424. because today they are born again, but they are still trying

  425. to prove themselves to a natural father.

  426. That doesn't even live on the planet.

  427. But only heard them say that whatever accolades they did,

  428. they weren't good enough, they couldn't arrive.

  429. In essence, they're living a life from an from being

  430. exasperated by father, no matter how much I did.

  431. I could, never please them enough.

  432. You know, the Bible is very clear on how to please.

  433. Our heavenly father, just do his word and he's always pleased,

  434. it's impossible to please him without faith.

  435. As long as you're in faith, he's like jacked.

  436. He's excited and he gives you what you're believing.

  437. You know, I did a righteousness class for Todd today because he

  438. had to go with the youth and they have the last class.

  439. I said, you know, think about it as a parent.

  440. There's only one thing that really bothers me about my kids.

  441. Is when they don't do what I say.

  442. That's it. I mean, it's pretty simple.

  443. You came from me, right? You're part of me.

  444. You have my name, I love you. I mean, that's who we are here

  445. of me yet. You don't do what I say.

  446. And there's conflict. It's conflict.

  447. And this is how it is with our own father.

  448. You don't do what I say is conflict.

  449. God, the father comes down the garden after Adam.

  450. He's the fruit and says son, you're out of the house.

  451. Mama's want to keep them in the house, daddy wants to put him

  452. out of the house. We say that again, mama wants to

  453. keep him in the house that he wants, put them out of the

  454. house. Now, I'm not saying you

  455. literally have to get your kids out of the house.

  456. What I'm saying is you have to let Dad, hold them accountable

  457. to what they did not do and have the consequence of it.

  458. Do you know why we have a lawless society today?

  459. We've raised children without fathers and they could have been

  460. in the home now, but without father's that do instruction and

  461. correction. They do not hold them

  462. accountable for their action. Now, if you do, that might take

  463. your phone, they do it. You take their phone for five

  464. minutes, you give it back to him.

  465. Are you don't take it away at all, you just talk them to death

  466. and then they just continue to learn by you that you don't do

  467. what you say but that's not what the heavenly father does.

  468. The heavenly father does what he says.

  469. I don't you eat this fruit, we separated and what did he call

  470. us? Adam, you can't even say in the

  471. garden son. Life's hard for you now.

  472. Now, I'm going to provide a way but it's not going to come in

  473. your lifetime. It didn't even come in his

  474. natural Lifetime and he lived 900 and what 30 years.

  475. All indication is Adam live, more life breathing in sin than

  476. he did in the image of God. Wow.

  477. So he tells us here that we should love this aspect of God.

  478. Verse 7, says for it's the discipline that you endure.

  479. Do you know how many kids can endure sitting at a table and

  480. eating food in a restaurant? Now, whose fault is this?

  481. The father's because they're not giving them instruction, you

  482. give an instruction in the house but get it.

  483. Why we don't even sit at a table, you don't even give any

  484. type of training how to function in society.

  485. How do I develop self-control? Everybody's eating the fast food

  486. sitting in front of the TV. So guess what restaurants have

  487. to do? Give the games.

  488. And so we're passing around our phones or iPads being trained by

  489. the prince of the power of the air.

  490. I mean, think about it right now in the United States alone.

  491. Do you understand people who are struggling with their actual

  492. identity as male and female is less than 3%?

  493. Yet you can't watch a TV show. Get on social media without it's

  494. like, everyone is like this. This is normal yet, in reality.

  495. It is extremely abnormal. In fact, there was a time in our

  496. nation that we considered it Criminal.

  497. You say, well I'm glad we changed will the kingdom didn't

  498. change because the kingdom clearly defines all kind of

  499. sexual immorality. And that's not a phobia, it's

  500. called life. And that hasn't changed with

  501. him. And so here instruction and

  502. correction is a role of the father, and we're abdicating

  503. this to our wives. To our schools.

  504. And to television. To their friends.

  505. Well, on my friends are doing it.

  506. I don't care. Everyone in my class has a

  507. cellphone so Every one of your classroom can't handle cellphone

  508. behalf and all I was looking at pornography anyway.

  509. And all of them are texting their body parts to each other.

  510. Anyway. Just say, Amen.

  511. When I give an instruction, we're not even following

  512. through. Like, man, I can't believe the

  513. world's like this. This is what happens when

  514. father's abdicate. Instruction and correction,

  515. because it creates a society that I am not held accountable

  516. for my actions. I mean, how in the world can in

  517. San Francisco people. Rob stores and open in broad

  518. daylight. Cameras and everything.

  519. And if they are apprehended out the next day, doing the same

  520. thing, What develops this mentality?

  521. We do not hold people accountable to what we say, but

  522. that's not the kingdom. That's not our father in Heaven.

  523. Our Father in heaven will hold everyone accountable to whatever

  524. they've done. . because he's a father of instruction and again

  525. if we want to endure is for discipline.

  526. Is for discipline. Is for discipline, is for

  527. discipline. Pastor Brandon, he's giving this

  528. testimony to us and the church. It Bears repeating this morning

  529. and that is this. His grandfather was diagnosed

  530. with cancer his grandfather. So, his grandfather got online

  531. began to, you know, look and try to figure out got online.

  532. I mean, he's like, 80 something years old.

  533. He's like, I want to live and not die. so he went on and he's

  534. like, They say oxygen is good if ice cancer.

  535. So at 80, he started running. He started running, he

  536. disciplined himself every day to run he's cancer-free today and

  537. still alive. Pastor Brandon's father was

  538. diagnosed with cancer. But he would not discipline

  539. himself to change and he's in the grave today.

  540. So his natural father our pastor brain is Grandfather, outlived

  541. his own son because the discipline That was the

  542. difference. Not that God couldn't heal them

  543. both God could but they were still natural things that need

  544. to take place. One has endured in the earth

  545. longer than the other for that principle and that principle

  546. alone. We have people suffering with

  547. diabetes and all kinds of stuff and the only reason why half of

  548. the things that are in their body today is because they won't

  549. discipline themselves, and how they eat Discipline.

  550. There are 300 different sausages in Poland.

  551. I had four of them Gumble Amor. No good.

  552. I wouldn't eat them. I never eat them again.

  553. He's some look so bad. You just can't get past what it

  554. looks like something I can eat that.

  555. Are you hearing me? I mean, you can.

  556. All things are permissible but not all things are profitable.

  557. And when you realize certain things that aren't profitable

  558. for you, what will cause you to endure is discipline?

  559. And it's not God's fault. If you want to grow spiritually,

  560. you have to discipline yourself to come to church.

  561. The salmon, you had great opportunities not to come.

  562. You like you have to pass? There's no, I don't know.

  563. A lot of people who can preach. I mean y'all call into work all

  564. the time. You don't believe the

  565. organization going to fall apart because you call out as you want

  566. to go to the beach. Instead, it's such a beautiful

  567. day. I mean, it was beautiful this

  568. morning, I thought and uh, I've been in Poland.

  569. It was 60 degrees. I want to go lay on the beach,

  570. but I got to go Tuesday to the youth meeting.

  571. When's that going to happen? You know what I'm calling in

  572. Steve, You Preach, right? I could have Pastor Tim preach.

  573. You could do something else, but why do you for discipline?

  574. Why do we read the Bible? All the time discipline?

  575. It's a discipline because discipline is why you endure?

  576. And I'm thankful that God is constantly giving me

  577. instruction. I'm thankful that God is always

  578. talking to me and saying, hey son, do this to do this, or he's

  579. all if he, if I ever get out or do something that I shouldn't,

  580. he's like, hey, you need to make an adjustment, you know why they

  581. let me know? I'm not an illegitimate child

  582. because if you're like, I don't want God to correct me.

  583. I want him telling me what to do, then you're an illegitimate

  584. child. In fact, one translation calls,

  585. you a bastard, Word. That's not cuss word is just a

  586. word that means illegitimate child, okay?

  587. So at the end of the day, you are you either acknowledging

  588. that you want to be illegitimate, but still get to

  589. heaven. So in essence father's, when you

  590. do not discipline and give instruction, you really can't

  591. communicate to your child, you're really not mine.

  592. Just say, Amen. Anyway.

  593. Because I'm gonna tell you right now, our society is telling

  594. parents, how to train their kids telling them how to correct it.

  595. Don't you spank a child? Don't do it.

  596. Now, you need to talk to them. Tell them what they did.

  597. I don't have no problem. God always instructs first, but

  598. there are children at certain ages that the rod of Correction,

  599. the Bible says, will drive hell far from them.

  600. We're not talking abuse. We are talking correction

  601. through a physical action that redirects their potential.

  602. And God said to do that. And for you to think that that's

  603. not godly and anyone doing it as abusive, your of the devil would

  604. you're thinking, And as a parent, if you will not be

  605. willing to correct your child. That way you are allowing

  606. worldliness to come in. Now, I'm going to be.

  607. Honestly some kids you're not going to do us often as others.

  608. but if you take it off the table, Then you're saying God

  609. did not know how to correct. God's standard is always.

  610. Instruction. But even his own nation suffered

  611. physically when they disobeyed. Suffered physically.

  612. They would be taken over by Nations, some would die, and

  613. that's worse. That's worse.

  614. He said when I don't have to spank my child, praise God.

  615. That just means they're obedient.

  616. What's the problem? What's the problem?

  617. but for those who receive correction, Your life.

  618. Thank God. My dad, and he wasn't even born

  619. again. Instill, the fear of God in my

  620. life and not because he beat me because he probably whip me this

  621. many times in my life 5, he actually abdicated his

  622. instruction. But he would do it. if my mom

  623. said it's going to require you, Does change his thinking.

  624. And when Mama told me Daddy was going to take care of me when I

  625. got home. And you know what?

  626. He only whip me one time it was only one lick.

  627. But it had the capacity to awaken my senses.

  628. It never left a mark. But it was something about

  629. coming from him that Force. And I'll tell you, I would

  630. change. On a longer duration.

  631. If my mom was the only one discipline me, it would be

  632. shorter term. I would push the envelope more

  633. often. but when Dad got involved, My righteous living

  634. live longer. It really wasn't the physical

  635. action. It was looking into his eyes

  636. blue eyes and black hair. And knowing that, I've done

  637. something that has warranted this.

  638. And my dad when I'm born again. That's the power of father.

  639. Do I love my mom? Yes.

  640. But it's something whole another ballgame to discipline

  641. disappoint. My father.

  642. You know how? I know this is true.

  643. Because as many fatherless people right now, they still

  644. just want the acceptance of their father.

  645. They never met It's amazing. You can even adopt a child, love

  646. them. Like God.

  647. They're still going to have a desire to want the birth one.

  648. To accept them. The craziest thing.

  649. But God designed man so that he would give these instructions

  650. and correction in the home. That would create a Godly

  651. Society. A Godly Society will never not

  652. have instruction go back to the beginning.

  653. Has Adam blown. It has he made any mistakes?

  654. No. But is he getting instruction?

  655. Yep. And his, he expect, is he

  656. expected by the father to discipline himself to live that

  657. way of his own free will. And every day and every year I'm

  658. going to pull fruit from this tree and not this one.

  659. I'm going to pull fruit from this tree and not this one from

  660. that tree and not this one. Because I love Dad.

  661. This is what he has instructed, and I want to please him. so,

  662. when there's a new Heaven and new earth, And sin has been

  663. dealt with once and for all. Thrown into the Lake of Fire,

  664. which is the second death. And there'll be no more sin at

  665. all, they'll still be instruction from Dad that he

  666. expects his children to say yes Dad love to do that.

  667. It's my pleasure to continue to do that.

  668. I want to do that. Because you're telling me you

  669. love me. And I'll discipline myself for

  670. eternity. To live this way.

  671. Let me close with this. Oh, I would say charge.

  672. I would call it a charge. Because it's important Tony

  673. Evans said in his kingdom agenda book.

  674. He said if a father leaves or is passive in the home, the enemy

  675. knows he can raise a boy or a child to be an undisciplined and

  676. irresponsible individual. so even if you're in the home, if

  677. you're not taking, The position of no, I'm going to bring this

  678. instruction from the word. It's how we live.

  679. This is our culture, this is how our at environment is.

  680. For all those that are divorced and you have kids come in and

  681. out, show them righteousness. I understand that they're going

  682. to talk to you and and act like they don't want to be around you

  683. and that you're too restrictive. I get it but you're the only

  684. godliness they're seeing. Well, I don't want them to come

  685. over all the time and all they do is get in trouble.

  686. It's their choice. They don't have to do that.

  687. They know the rules. You have to follow through.

  688. Now, you create those based upon what they know.

  689. But you need to demonstrate instruction and correction when

  690. they're in your home. Because it's the only thing that

  691. can help pull them back to the heavenly father because when

  692. they get born again, least it should be.

  693. That were like all right. Dad teach me something.

  694. Amen. I question anyone who says they

  695. gave their heart to the Lord, but will not hear the

  696. instructions of the father. I would question it.

  697. I won't judge it but I will question it.

  698. Because you cannot manipulate the father.

  699. This is what we raise when we do not instruct and correct

  700. children, who will manipulate give me the benefit.

  701. I'm not taking the responsibility.

  702. I won't heaven without you. I mean I want you there but

  703. don't you tell me what to do? I mean as long as you stay on

  704. your side I'll see you. Stay on your throne, I'll get

  705. them on. I mean, I just don't want go to

  706. hell, you understand this? No, you got to love him and to

  707. love him is to do his work. Y'all doing all right?

  708. Okay. I don't have like depressed

  709. parents right now because your child is going to camp and

  710. you're missing him already. Are you?

  711. I mean I told Pastor Brian I said you tell all them parents,

  712. when they drop them off, don't go home and go to bed.

  713. Miss church. He said I'm going to tell him to

  714. go down to kookaburra and get them a cup of coffee and come

  715. right back and give you are for prayer.

  716. So I'll get the list of whose children are gone.

  717. And I'll see if you were here today.

  718. Just kidding. All right.

  719. Proverbs chapter 4. Let me give you this charge

    Proverbs 4 chapter mention

  720. instructions from the Father Here, All Sons, the instruction

  721. of the father give attention that you may gain understanding.

  722. For I give you sound teaching, do not abandon my instruction.

  723. When I was a son to my father tender and the only son in the

  724. side of my mother, Then he taught me and said to me, let

  725. your heart. Hold fast my words, keep my

  726. Commandments and live acquire wisdom, acquire.

  727. Understanding, do not forget or turn away from the words of my

  728. mouth, do not forsake her and she will guard.

  729. You love her and she will watch over you.

  730. The beginning of wisdom is acquire wisdom and with all

  731. acquiring get understanding, prize her and she will exalt

  732. you. She will honor you, if you

  733. Embrace her, she will play Xuan place on your head, a Garland of

  734. Grace. She will present you with a

  735. crown of beauty here, my son and accept my sayings and the years

  736. of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way

  737. of wisdom I have led you in up right paths.

  738. When you walk your steps will not be impeded and if you run

  739. you will not stumble. Take hold of instruction.

  740. Do not let go guard her for. She is Is your life.

  741. See the roll you met you, you bring to your family father's

  742. when you give instruction and correction.

  743. You're modeling our heavenly father verse 14 says, do not

  744. enter the path of the wicked. Do not proceed in the way of

  745. evil. Avoid it, do not pass by it,

  746. turn away from it and pass on for, they cannot sleep unless

  747. they do evil. And they are robbed of sleep.

  748. Unless they make someone stumble for they eat the bread of

  749. wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

  750. But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that

  751. shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

  752. The day of the wicked is like, Darkness, they Not know over

  753. what? They stumble, my son.

  754. Give attention to my words incline.

  755. Your ears to my saying do not. Let them depart from your site,

  756. keep them in the midst of your heart for.

  757. They are life to those who find them and health to all their

  758. body watch over your heart with all diligence for from it flows,

  759. the Springs of Life, put away from you, a deceitful mouth and

  760. put devious speech far from you, let your eyes look directly at.

  761. Ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you, watch

  762. the path of your feet and all your ways will be established,

  763. do not turn to the right or to the left, turn your foot from

  764. evil. Fathers, when you take the role

  765. of the heavenly, father, in the home to bring instruction.

  766. Correction. You bring life.

  767. Do not abdicate this position. Do not abdicate it.

  768. For those who are being reintroduced to their children.

  769. Walk in wisdom. In their minds.

  770. You've already advocated your ability to instruct and correct.

  771. So, you're going to have to demonstrate serving.

  772. Serving. serving, but in all you're serving, you can continue

  773. to communicate. how you received instruction and you received in

  774. correction and you made adjustments, and then you can

  775. model that. For those who have been

  776. re-engaged with their children, you have the responsibility to

  777. show them the word. But if you don't know the words,

  778. you can't demonstrate it, you cannot separate God from the

  779. word because God is the word. God is the word wives.

  780. If your husband is a man of the word, you should cherish that

  781. And when would they want to give instruction according to the

  782. word you should applaud. because you'll be able to say, That's

  783. our Father. God damn coming into the house.

  784. Now know, it's going to be sorrowful.

  785. When it first comes. Both in the positive training

  786. side. Like I said in weightlifting but

  787. also in the correcting side, Is going to hurt.

  788. It's going to cut against their will.

  789. It's going to be conflict. But when they're fully trained,

  790. it will yield. The peaceful fruit of

  791. righteousness. The peaceful fruit of

  792. righteousness. Instruction is not subjective.

  793. It's not even opinion. When we're modeling our heavenly

  794. father, it's just his word on the matter.

  795. When you act on that. You bring life into the home.

  796. Amen. I thank God that he loves me and

  797. he loves me. Not because I fell out in the

  798. spirit one day. Not because I laugh done with

  799. the Holy Ghost for a long time. Not because I ran around the

  800. church. Not because someone gave me

  801. money. but because he gave me that, which to hold on to

  802. instruction, Wisdom understanding.

  803. Because he's a good father because his words are life.

  804. And as men we want to bring life into a thank you so much for
