The Person of the Holy Spirit - Week Two with Pastor Marci Glisson

Now enjoy this message. So we started last week talking

about out of Revelations chapter 1 and verse 6 that he has made

Revelation 1 · chapter mention

unto us what Kings and Priests to our God.

And we started talking about the fact that we ourselves are

Kings. And we know that we know that we

are Kings, we've been taught that we are Kings, but it's

great that we refresh ourselves. In this Arena, we said that

kings are in a seat of authority.

Amen. That was number one.

Number two was that kings were terrain and to rule over the

territory or the domain that God has given you so kings are to

rule you being a king unto God and a priest unto God.

We are to rule over our own domain, first, and foremost,

that is us. Our body, our circumstances are

situations and then we're to rule over whatever territory

that God has allowed. That's to have influence over,

right? But I'm going to tell you,

you're not going to Reign over this and have influence.

If you can't even Reign, and rule over your own life and

dominate over your own life, over your flesh, over your

circumstances, over your situations, right?

Amen. And then the third point was, is

that Kings? Defend their territory from

their enemies. That means when you learn how to

rise up as a king, no matter what's going on.

You're now in a position of seven, saying to the enemy

devil, you don't have any Authority here, this is not your

territory so you can try to rear your ugly head by trying to stop

this or trying to do this or trying, to cause this, in my

family or in my life or whatever the case may be, but you're

going to defend your territory. Ori of the position of authority

that you've been given over the enemy, because he's been whipped

and stripped of all his power, amen.

Over those, who believe he's not whipped and stripped over the

loss, he's not whipped and stripped over those who don't

believe. It's only for those, who believe

those that are children of God have the authority now over the

enemy because the enemy is still at loose, right?

In the earth, he is the God of this world and he is still

functioning Satan the father Lies still functioning in the

Earth, but for us as Believers, he doesn't have to have any more

authority over our lives, but the Lost he has full Authority.

Those that are not born. Again, that's why they acting

like fools, right? And insane.

And going crazy because I believe there are a lot of them.

And what we're seeing today happening is a reprobate mind,

it's Insanity. Okay.

They followed Into the reprobate mind.

And this is what we see with all the foolishness happen.

All right, don't shout me down. So number four is Kings rule.

We talked about this under an anointing.

We've all been given as kings in the Earth because he is the king

of and the Lord of who are those kings?

Who are those lures? We are.

And he has anointed his kings in the Earth.

We have an anointing and so we talked about that, that's why no

matter what's going on, no matter what you're facing, if

you'll tap into the anointing on the inside which is the Holy

Ghost come on that will lead us and guide us to be able to

overcome whatever it is and we can walk through it.

He says we can walk through the fire and not be burned because

we have an anointing. And no matter what situation, if

we've learned how to tap into it, so Kings have an anointing

and we have the anointing on the inside.

I did not read this last point and I just want to say it real

quick Kings have a decree. We talked a little bit about it

just because I know Pastor B talked about that.

This year was the year to what a raining residents.

We have a decree Kings have addict Kree, that means whatever

the king decrees, it will be So whatever, we decree over our

situation, over our circumstance, over our

whatever's going on in our life. That's why, that's what it will

be. That's why I decree that, I'm

just gonna laugh at all, the things going on, right?

See, I'm calling those things that be not as though they are.

And I will decree that I'm going to be able to walk through this

right? Hallelujah.

And so whatever. Going through, that's why you've

got to get your confession on it.

You've got to get your decree on it because you're a king and

whatever will be will be Whatever you let go on in your

house is totally up to you and the words that are coming out of

your mouth. Whatever it is going on.

You have the authority because you're a king to decree not in

my house. Oh no, no.

Oh no, no, no. Not in my house.

Come on. Whatever it is.

You have the authority to decree it.

Amen. Hallelujah.

But I want to read this one scripture.

These few scriptures about our decree because it goes in line

with the fact that we Have the authority in the earth.

Matthew 16, 18, and 19 says, I also say to you that you Peter

and Upon This Rock, I will build my church.

Who's the church? We are, and the gates of Hades

will not overpower it. So if you are of the church, if

you are born again, and Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life,

Supreme and authority over your life.

Then guess what? The gates of hell.

L cannot Prevail against you. And that's why you take your

ground of dominion and your Authority and say not today.

Devil, Right. Oh no.

This is not gonna be happening. You can try to rear your ugly

head, but in the name of Jesus, I rebuke, you get out.

And so that is you taking your position of recognizing that all

of Hell cannot overpower me because I'm in the church.

And then in verse 19, it says this and I will give you the

keys of the, what kingdom, of And whatever you bind on Earth

shall have been bound in heaven and whatever you loose on Earth.

Shall be loosed in heaven. Come on.

So here we see that we have been given the authority with our

decree to bind and to loose in the Earth.

What? That's why I said, whatever will

be will be. According to your decree, do

that rhyme? I tell you I crack myself up.

So whatever will be will be at from your decree, right?

And so we have to recognize this and I believe because the Lord

is trying to get his body to another place of maturity.

There's Lot of challenges happening right now and we've

been given the Keys of the Kingdom.

This body, this church knows the authority that they're supposed

to be taken. And if things aren't changing

and things are happening, it's because you are not taking your

position just like. Adam didn't take his position of

authority and say, no devil. He said not to eat it.

I'm not going to eat it. It's as simple as that.

So what is the enemy trying to bring to your House because

we've been given Dominion as kings over our house.

Second Corinthians 4:13 says this, but having the same Spirit

2 Corinthians 4:13

of Faith, according to what is written, I believed, therefore I

spoke. We also believe therefore what

we also will speak. So whatever we believe come on,

what? This is, how Faith talks.

Faith has a sound, say talks, and so whatever we speak, come

on, We believe We believe We believe what we say is going to

happen, you can't just be saying something and not believe that

it's not going to change, so it's never going to change.

Never going to change. Oh, but, you know, they say I'm

supposed to say something about it.

So let me say this, you can't say the word one day and the

word the next day, what happened?

And not say it the next day because it counteracts itself.

Because what you believe you will continually speak and it

will be settled within you. Amen.

It will be settled with in you, Hallelujah.

So let's look at the priest side because he has made us not just

Kings to have dominion and authority over her own life and

be able to reign in life, circumstances and situations,

but he's made us priests And we know in the Old Testament, what

were the priests there for? The priests were there, too.

That we know that they were the levitical priesthood is what

they were called. And they were the ones that

would go into the holies of holies, right?

To make atonement once a year with the sacrifices for sin and

what we can see, not only about the priests.

They also priest also. Taught the law, they upheld, the

law and the standard of the law of what the law was saying,

right? And they would teach it, they

would teach the law. So the priest had that

responsibility to teach the law, to uphold the law in the, you

know, area there that they are there as priests and then among

the people. But then also, for bringing the

sacrifices. So what we see about the The

priest is they were called the go-between.

Priests were the go-between because before you had to go to

the priest to make the sacrifices right?

But we know Jesus, the scripture says, is what our great high

priest, and he was the sacrificial what lamb once and

for all. So now, we don't have to have

anybody to go to and go through. We don't have to go through

Mary. We can go actually.

Straight to the throne room. So, we don't have to have a go

between any longer because Jesus was our great high priest.

Another thing about the priests were is where we see intercessor

come from, which is the go-between.

They were the intercessors, they were the go-between.

That's what intercession actually means to go between or

to rest upon. Okay, which is a whole nother

teaching on. I could get onto with prayer,

but we're not talking about prayer, okay?

So I really want to just focus on the priesthood and being now

the priest of your own life because not only are you a king

over your life, you are the priest of your house, your

temple, your household, your family, if you're married, Read

your the priest over your own life.

Okay, you're the priest over your own life.

Now we know the priests were holy because they could not go

into the holies of holies unless they had a bell wrapped around,

right? And if they went in and they

were not wholly, guess what happened?

They died. Okay.

Aren't you thankful now that we get to go right into the holies

of holies right into his presence that we just sang

about? We get to go right into Do it

and not have to be fearful of dying.

Amen, hallelujah. So let's look at a couple of

scriptures concerning. The fact that we are priests

unto our God. But not only unto our God, we

are the priests now, over our lives, we have authority over

our own lives of how Godly we will be.

Or not. We are responsible.

He made a way. But now we're responsible to

keep James says and I didn't even have the scripture but it

just came up in my spirit James talks about that.

We are to keep ourselves unspotted from this world.

When you look up that word unspotted, it can also be, we

are the ones to keep ourselves from being contaminated by this

world. Because we even though we're in

this world, we know things are happening all around us and

we're brushing up, we're walking through we're and, and we've got

to be the ones now responsible to keep ourselves spotless.

So, to speak the blood made the way the Holy Spirit, which we'll

talk about next Wednesday, when I start that Series has

Sanctified us, but we're still responsible Possible to continue

to uphold the standard of sanctification Holiness that

nobody likes to talk about anymore.

Keeping ourselves unstained from the world.

Okay? So first, I'm trying to think

where I want to go. Let me read this scripture

First, Peter chapter 2 and verse 9.

He says this, but you are a chosen race.

A royal Priesthood say, I am a royal priesthood.

Those that have been chosen. Come on those that are born

again. I am a royal priesthood unto my

life. I'm a royal priesthood.

Do you know what that word actually means?

Royal priesthood, Royal or kingly.

Again, confirming the kingship confirming that we are Kings in

this earth. He says that word Royal means

kingly, and it actually means the office of a priest.

A priest of kingly rake when you look it up.

So we're in a kingly rank of a priesthood.

Wow. Wow.

Wow. A lot to say about that.

So he says we are a royal priesthood.

A what? Holy nation?

Not just a nation, but a Holy One.

Because we're keeping our priesthood in Holiness.

Hallelujah. A holy nation.

A people for God's Own possession because the priests

were separated unto God. The levitical priests, they were

separated unto God. And so here, he lets us know a

people for his own, what possession?

So That you may proclaim the excellencies of him who has

called you out of Darkness Into His Marvelous Light, aren't you

thankful? Come on that.

You no longer are blind. You no longer have to live in

darkness. Come on.

Oh, but glory to God, you got brought into the light.

Hallelujah. And now, we must live by the

Light. Hallelujah.

We need to live by the Light. Hallelujah, glory to God.

So a people for his own possession and we'll talk about

that in a minute, but I want you to see in scripture where we see

that Jesus was our high priest. Hallelujah.

And that's found in Hebrews. Let's go over to Hebrews chapter

Hebrews 8 · chapter mention

8 and I am literally going to read verses 1 through 13, okay?

We Up the scripture around here, right?

It says, now this is the main point of the things that we are

saying we have such a high priest.

Who is seated at the right hand of the Throne of majesty in

heaven, a minister of the sanctuary and of the true

Tabernacle which the Lord erected and not man for every

high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices

Hallelujah. You might want to highlight

those gifts and sacrifices therefore it is necessary that

this one also have something to offer for if he were on Earth he

would not be a priest. Since there are priests who

offer gifts, according to the law, who serve and caught the

copy, and Shadow of the Heavenly things.

As Moses was divinely, instructed when he was about to

make the Well, he said that you make all things according to the

pattern shown on the mountain but now he has obtained a more

excellent Ministry. Say more.

Excellent inasmuch. As he is also mediator of a

better. Covenant say better Covenant.

Which he established on what better promises?

Say better promises. Hallelujah.

We have a better Covenant and we have better promises glory to

God verse 7. For if the first Covenant had

been faultless, then no place would have been Been sought for

a second because finding fault with them.

He says, behold the days are coming, says the Lord.

When I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel, and

with the house of Judah, not according to the Covenant that I

made with their fathers in the day, when I took them by the

hand and led them out of the land of Egypt because they did

not continue in my Covenant and I disregarded them says the

Lord. Yeah, say dis he disregarded

them? Hallelujah.

It says, in verse 10, for this is the Covenant that I will make

with the house of Israel. After those days says the Lord,

I will put my laws in their mind.

Remember, the priests were to what?

Uphold the law and only the priests Could Teach the law.

So normal regular people had to go to the priest to get any of

the teaching of the law. You have what?

They didn't have it. So it says I will put their law,

put my laws in their mind, say my mind, I will write them in

their hearts, a my heart and I will be their God and they shall

be my people. None of them shall teach his

neighbor and none have his brother saying know, the Lord

For All Shall know me. Say all shall know me from the

least to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their

unrighteousness and their sins and their Lawless deeds and I

will remember no more in that. He says a New Covenant, he has

made the first obsolete. Now, what is becoming obsolete?

And growing old is ready to vanish.

Hallelujah. And that's talking about the old

Covenant, right versus what was to come now.

However, the Hebrews I'm skipping ahead, guys.

Hebrews chapter 10, verses 1 through 25.

Hebrews 10:1–25

Hebrews 10 1 through 25 for the law since it has only a shadow

of good things to come and not from every form of things can

never be by the same sacrifices, which they offer continually

year-by-year, right? That's the old Covenant, where

the priest did year by year. They would go and make perfect

those who draw near otherwise. Would they not have ceased to be

offered because the worshippers having once been?

Glenn's would no longer have had consciousness of sins, but in

those sacrifices, there is a reminder of sins year-by-year.

We should not allow the enemy. If we have repented to ever

bring back up our sin. Because that's what the blood

did. See cleared, our conscious of

guilt and shame and sin. Hallelujah, hallelujah.

The enemy is the only one that wants to remind you.

He is the accuser of the Brethren, he wants to remind you

of how you used to be. Amen.

But because of the blood, once you get born again, your

Consciousness can be dealt with and rid of the sin and the

reminder of it once and for all amen.

So verse 44, it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats

to take away sins therefore when he comes into the world who's

he? He says sacrifice and offering

you have not desired but a body. You You have prepared for me and

whole burnt offerings, and sacrifices for sin, you have

taken, no pleasure. And then I said, behold I have

come in the scroll of the book. It is written to me to do your

Will O God after saying above sacrifices and offerings and

whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.

You have not desired nor you have taken pleasure in them,

which are offered according to the law and then he said, behold

I have come to Your will, he takes a way the first in order

to establish the second and by this will we have by this will

we have been Sanctified through the offering of what the body of

Jesus Christ, once for all, so, every priest stands, daily

ministering. And offering Time After Time,

the same sacrifices, which can never Never take away sins but

he having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, set down

at the right hand of God waiting from that time onward, until his

enemies. Be made his footstool for his

feet. For by one offering, he has

perfected for all time those who are Sanctified and the Holy

Spirit. Also, testifies to us for after

saying, this is the Covenant that I will make.

Make with them. After those days, says the Lord,

I will. What put my laws here?

It is again upon their heart. I will put their my aunt on

their mind and I will write them.

He then says, and their sins and their Lawless Deeds.

I will remember no more. Now, where there is forgiveness

of their these things, there is no longer any offering for sin,

therefore Brethren. Since we have confidence, what

to enter into the holy place by by the blood of Jesus, A New,

and Living Way, which he inaugurated for us through the

veil. That is his flesh.

And since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us

draw near with a sincere, heart in full Assurance of Faith.

Having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience

and our bodies washed with pure water and then he goes on.

Let us hold fast. Amen!

So Jesus was our high priest, and his body was the sacrifice

once and for all For All Mankind for sin.

So the blood made away, amen. Made a way for us to be able to

walk into this holy priesthood. That he now calls us as children

of God. Amen.

Now he says, he's going to I write his law in our heart once

we get born again, that's what happens.

Now, our spirit man. What is Made Alive unto God,

right? Alive unto him and he says, I'm

going to. Now, put a new heart is equal to

us about. I'm going to put a new heart

within them. I'm going to take out the old

cold Stony heart and I'm going to put in a heart.

Come on of, that's pliable like clay.

Amen. And he says, I'm going to right

now. Oh my laws in their heart and

all their minds glory to God. So now the law is within

Hallelujah. So my spirit man wants to obey

the word. Hallelujah.

And now we know we have the responsibility of also renewing

our mind to the word of God so that the word then can what wash

our mind? Hallelujah.

So that we have the law already on the inside, so that we can

now walk it out in our lives as priests.

And we no longer have to go through a priest because we can

be the priest of our own life and we can put as much word in

our life than that. We want.

Hallelujah, because we have a better promise.

We have a better Covenant. We have the word.

The written word of God. Amen!

Hallelujah. So if you're weak it's because

your spirit is deficient of the word.

And that's up to you, that's up to you.

You are now the responsible one to put the word in your life and

let it begin to feed your spirit so that you could walk according

to his ways. And according to his word

because now your spirit is alive.

And to him look at 2nd Corinthians chapter 3, go back

up guys to Second Corinthians Is to 33, it says you are our

letter. Written in our hearts known and

read by all men, being manifested that, you are a

letter of Christ cared for by US, Written, not with ink, but

with the spirit of the Living, God not on tablets of stone, but

on tablets of the human heart. Hallelujah.

You know what? When people see you, they ought

to see the word. You are a living epistle.

For the world to read. And what are they reading about

you? When they see you are they

reading the word come on? Are they seeing the word?

Exemplify out of your life or are they seeing the world?

And the world standard come on, or your flesh.

Right. Okay, the priest of our own

right? Listen, he's now living on the

inside. I want to read that scripture

out of the passion translation, second Corinthians, 323 out of

the passion. It says, for your very lives,

are our letters of recommendation.

So what are you recommending to the world?

By what they see from your life. Are you recommending freedom,

and hope and joy, and peace? Come on and forgiveness, and

love, and, and passion? Or are they reading?

And are you recommending? I'm just as hopeless as you.

See that so says you for your very lives are our letters of

recommendation. Permanently engraved on our

hearts recognized and read by everybody say everybody is

reading you. You know, I've heard that same

as quit trying to read me. Everybody's reading you.

Everybody is reading you. They have professionals, we just

were talking about this. That read you have you seen the

panels on the news and they bring in those professionals and

and by their body language, you know they can tell you know?

Well I think they're, you know, this means this see how their,

you know, whatever twitching here or moving there or he's

blinking blinking really, really fast?

Or their eyes are wide open. Oh they're afraid.

Eight, right? Everybody's reading you.

So what are we recommending to the World, when they read our

lives, our family, our marriage, our children, come on.

It says, as a result of our ministry, you are living letters

written by Christ not with ink. But by the spirit of the Living,

God not carved on two stone tablets.

But on the tablets of Tender Hearts, Hallelujah, glory to

God. So priests over our own lives

now that we have the word and the law that's been made

available to us because we are priests unto him.

Now, look, Look at First Peter, chapter 2.

1 Peter 2 · chapter mention

First Peter chapter 2 again in verse 5 we were already in First

1 Peter 2 · chapter mention 1 Peter 2:9

Peter 2:9 but if you go back up to verse 5 it says this.

You also as living stones are being built up as a spiritual

house for a holy priesthood. So you are a spiritual House of

God. Inhabitant.

Right. Just how we know that the Holy

Spirit, his glory could only come down in the temple right

now. You are the Temple of the Holy

Spirit and you are now the one that is inhabiting the

priesthood and being a house built, right?

Being built as a spiritual house.

A spiritual house. They are being built as a

spiritual house. Not a cardinal house.

Come on, not a fleshly house. Not a mere man.

Human Mystic house, but a spiritual house as a born-again

Believer. You are now a spiritual house

for a. Holy priesthood to offer up

spiritual sacrifices. Here it is acceptable to God

through Jesus Christ. Hallelujah and acceptable.

Priesthood unto Jesus Christ. I said that we are temples of

the Holy Spirit but I want to give you that scripture, it was

in 1st Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God?

That the spirit of God dwells in you?

If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him.

For the temple of God is Holy. Which Temple you are.

This is New Testament. You are to be a holy Temple unto

God. Amen.

So what are we allowing to be a part of our life that could be

defiling? Or bring in a spot or a blemish

or a wrinkle. Upon our lives, right?

We are to be the priest of our own life.

And Priests were. Holy.

And this is for every believer. This is not just for pastors and

Prophets and evangelists and teachers.

Right. No, this is for every single

person that calls themself a child of God, that he chose and

called them, a royal priesthood unto him separated unto him.

We are the ones now that are to be Allowing or not allowing

things to be in our lives. Psalms 119 says this, your word

I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you.

So, if we're going to continue right in Holiness, we're going

to have to what hide the word in our heart.

That means we're going to have to keep the word.

First place in our life continually every day, putting

the word in our life. Reading the word keeping it

before us, right? So that what so that we won't

sin against him. A lot of people are stumbling

and falling and walking into sin.

Remember he says Lots in the last days are going to fall away

from the faith and they're going to do it because they're not

hiding the word in their heart. And then they're going to let

access for sin to be a part of their life and we know where

their sin there is death. Sin pays out in death only

destruction, right? So if you open your door for sin

to be a part of your life, even as a Believer, you can still

reap the consequences of death in your life whatsoever.

A man. What soweth that, shall he reap.

If you sow to the spirit, you'll reap of the spirit.

If you sow to the flesh, you'll reap of the Flesh and the

Scripture says destruction. So we have a choice to be the

priest over our own lives and what it is that we're allowing

being a part of our life and we must be people that hide the

word in our heart. Keep the word.

First place in our life, Colossians 3:16 Says this.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell richly in.

You write with all wisdom teaching and admonishing and

then he goes on to saying with Psalms hymns spiritual songs as

well. Singing with Grace in.

It's in your hearts to the Lord. So but the word has two richly

dwell within you. Then you'll find wisdom, let the

teaching, let the teaching of the word, the wisdom of God and

admonishing. What's in monitoring correction

admonishing. Hey, I don't think you should do

that. The Holy Ghost will say that to

you through the word. He's not going to just tell you

how wonderful you are. And that you're perfect.

People think that that anything negative from the word or that

God would say is just not, right?

Because God loves us. He does love you.

He loves you so much. He wants to correct you so that

you don't fall into a situation. That's what the word is there

for. Amen.

And thank God for it. Hallelujah.

Because my life would be a complete wreck and and Bob, I

mean, just just a nuclear bomb waiting to happen.

Without the word. Come on.

Amen. Now let's look at Romans chapter

Romans 12 · chapter mention

12. Romans chapter 12, we're talking

Romans 12 · chapter mention

about being the priest of our own life.

Romans 12:1, I appeal to you, therefore, Brethren and beg of

Romans 12:1

you in view of all the mercies of God to make a decisive defeat

dedication of your body's presenting all your members and

faculties as a Living Sacrifice. Well, I thought once I was born

again, I didn't have to do anything.

There wasn't going to be any sacrifice.

Jesus, Paid the sacrifice for me, but he lets us know where to

present now our body. Our faculties, Our Lives unto

him as now a sacrifice. Look what it says.

As a sacrifice. And what is the sacrifice wholly

devoted consecrated because that's what the priests were in

the Old Testament. They were holy, they were

devoted to the priesthood and they were consecrated unto God

for his work for his purpose. And he lets us know.

Now that we have that same responsibilities as priests over

our lives that we are to present.

Isn't to him right ourselves as a Living Sacrifice, holy devoted

constitute crated and well pleasing to God, which is your

reasonable. Rational intelligent service,

I'm reading out of the Amplified and spiritual worship Wow.

So, if we're going to really walk into this, holy priesthood,

come on, this kingly rank. Then we have to ask ourselves,

have I actually presented my whole self as a sacrifice to

God. Is everything about my life.

Laying on the sacrificial table, so to speak, for him, to do,

with whatever it is that he wants.

That's what that word. Present means to present

yourself. You know what it means?

It means to provide yourself at his disposal.

So there's things that he's going to ask you to do that.

You don't want to do, but guess what it is.

It's saying, Lord, I'm your sacrum, the I am your Living

Sacrifice, whatever you need me to do.

I'm at your disposal and I'm gonna do it.

If it takes me out of my normal routine, if it causes me to

sacrifice a little bit more over here, if you want me to do this

over here, come on. Whatever it is.

I bet your disposal Because I am a priest unto my God, come on,

and whatever it is that he's asking me to sacrifice that.

I am gonna be the one at his disposal. and then he goes on to

say, That word present also means present yourself ready to

help. That's a sacrifice that are you

always willing to help? Sometimes that's the sacrifice

it in it. Yeah, you, you know, the Lord's

asking you to help here or there or do something over here and

you don't really want to do it. But you don't own you.

Because you're his. So, are you going to be that?

Sacrifice that day? Are you going to be that one?

That's going to be ready to help?

It also means a person for another to see and question.

For another to see and question a Living Sacrifice.

Again, goes to, I am a recommendation.

So, can people see the sacrifice in my life?

Do people see me sacrificing for the kingdom of God?

Can people see it in your life or do they just see you still

living for self and just want your happy about your life.

And one day when you die, you get to go to heaven.

Or are you doing anything that actually is sacrificial for him?

And can people see that about your life?

You know what I've heard people could you know, family members

are people complain at church, they seems like that church.

All you want to do is just you know serve Oh, I'm sorry.

I'm being a Living Sacrifice. Willing to do whatever it is he

at his disposal and it's not just for the pastor's guys.

It just seems like you just do it too much for that church.

Oh, I'm sorry. It's the very thing that he died

for. He actually says he died for the

church and he's coming back for the church, so guess where I

want to be. you see what I'm saying, but if you listen to

these things that people say, Come on, you're going to pull

back from being that sacrifice unto God.

Amen. And the things you know people

are going to look at you and say, well I don't ever see you

doing anything putting your hand to anything for God, I don't

know that's for you. It also means here to present

yourself means this in the Greet, these are all found in

the Greek under that word present right here in this

context of the scripture, it's to Sent.

Or to bring you into fellowship and intimacy.

Fellowship and intimacy. So again that goes back to

consecrated unto him. I'm his and his alone.

I'm in an intimate fellowship with him.

I'm presenting myself to be that for him.

Amen. So it goes, It goes to the

spiritual level. It goes to the Natural level of

your physical body. This, that's what he's talking

about, right? Presenting all your members,

your body physically, there's going to be sacrifices that he's

going to need for you to do physically in your body.

Not like a you know you know what I'm talking about.

You're not going to have to sacrifice anyone or any that

kind of thing, you understand what I'm saying, but you're

going to have to present your body as a sacrifice.

That means you're going to have to do things.

That your body is going to say you're too tired.

Morning prayer. Yeah, right you're too tired,

you can't go back up at that church again you don't you know

you've been up there all week. For that conference you mean you

got to serve with the baby's One More Time.

By the way, we need help with our children's ministry.

We're growing And we need people to say, I'll go rock a baby,

I'll go, I'll go minister to the Next Generation and love them.

We need help, or you know what? We're going to have to start

having a capacity limit. Sorry you got here too late.

We're at full capacity. We have nowhere else.

No one else to watch the children.

That's how much we're growing and how much we need help.

So if you're a vision partner and you're just sitting here not

bringing a supply, Because every joint brings a supply.

Amen. So that's just a side note, just

because I know what's going on. So right presenting our body,

all the members, our faculties, which is our mind, everything we

are to present it unto God as a sacrifice.

That means I'm not going to think ungodly Unholy things

about other people. Because I'm going to present my

mind to be holy, I'm not going to watch the garbage that's

going on on my phone because I want to keep my mind as a

sacrifice unto God. I'm going to keep it.

Holy unto him and consecrated unto him, right?

I'm not going to go and do the things that I see everybody else

doing because I don't want to, Allow those things.

Do you have opportunity to get into my life?

Amen. You know teenagers today think

we're just old school, you know? But you know this has been going

on for Generation after generation after generation if

you want to serve the Lord and live for him, holy you have got

to cut things out of your life. Barry. .

When we were raising our kids in our home, we did not Lau any

movies of PG-13 and up until they got 13.

We didn't let rated, we didn't let them sit and watch rated R

movies. We still don't watch them,

there's things you decide. I'm going to live a holy and

consecrated life. And I'm not going to allow these

things in my life. I remember when my teenage boys

were growing up and the 360 machine, is that what it's

called? What is those things called Xbox

not 360 whatever. Xbox, because I hated them and I

wanted to shoot them. Right, those Xbox things first,

it was the little Nintendo things, the little Game Boy

things, and then there was, you know, whatever, I don't know.

Well, I remember them, get the Xbox and all of these stupid

games that were, you know, gruesome.

But even back. Then this was, you know, they're

pushing 30 now, guys, even back then.

Then, you know, and I would get so aggravated, right?

We would say no we're not going to get that game.

Well that guy who Bears the new game everybody has the game.

I don't care. Well, does it have?

Does it have blockers, you know, because you can block listen to

that music, that's on it, right? So we would go in if there was a

game that he would approve that would be on the verge that he

would go in and then block the The calf and where they couldn't

hear anything, then they would complain about.

Well, it's no fun, not being able to hear, you know, them

explode, and blow up, you know, all these things.

But I would tell you, we had to go through the same thing,

raising our kids and saying this is not going to be a part of our

house. We're not going to let it in our

house where the priest of our home, where the priest over our

lives and we have to say, in the midst of it, I don't care that

every boy and girl are going and dating at 16, it's not going to

be in my house. Because I was a teenager, does

he was a teenager and we knew every every way to manipulate to

scheme to lie to sneak out of the house.

Come on. You had like we just don't know

what's going on. I snuck out of my house a mini

and time got back in and got up the next day and went to school

like nothing ever happened and lie right to my mama's face

doing drugs, whatever I wanted to do.

And you know what? They believe me parents.

Don't believe your kids. They are not innocent, little

perfect children, they will lie straight to your face.

Quit believing them trust, but verify.

Oh yeah, I trust you out. Don't you trust me?

Yeah, I trust you but guess what?

I'm gonna do. I'm gonna verify Come on, don't

act like y'all just saw so innocent.

Don't know how we were was we were teenagers.

There are very few. Very few that are really good

children. I'm telling you because they all

have sin nature, they're all have sin nature in them and sin,

no matter what. I don't care if they were raised

in church and have the word sin is going to be knocking at their

door and they have to make a conscious choice and decision to

choose and they're not always going to choose.

Right thing, they are going to make mistakes.

And they're going to fail, you just better hope they don't fail

big. You know.

They're going to fail because they're not perfect.

Nobody is. So, don't believe the lie.

Guys. Don't let your teenager to

manipulate you. They will lie.

I don't care how wonderful they are and how your perfect little

baby angel is Dada. Dada Dada Dada.

They're going to lie to you because they're not born again

unless they get born again and then they're going to have to

choose. Am I going to lie or am I?

I going to tell the truth. Okay, I don't know how I got off

that, but y'all just think we're just so oblivious about how it

is that these kids are so perfect and if you raise them in

church, they're never going to make mistakes and they're never

going to do what you did. Yes, they are.

You have just given them a better tool for the opportunity

for them to choose life instead of death.

You know, I don't believe in giving these kids phones.

The dangerous tool within their hands and they are not mature

enough to handle it. Most adults are not mature

enough to handle it. How can a child handle it?

Most adults cannot handle the screen and what's coming through

it. And they're falling, just like

that. Verify always verify always

every day, every minute of the day.

And if your kid don't want you to, then you take the phone, you

get the hammer, you blow it up, y'all wouldn't have wanted me to

raise you. Hallelujah.

I'm telling you parents need to wake up these kids today.

All right, the kids are kids. They're the same today,

yesterday and forever. Just like God, Nothing new Under

the Sun, just more ways and more access.

More access, and they don't need the access.

All right, everybody. Good, maybe we'll just end with

that. No, let's don't, let's give one

more scripture so we'll end on something positive here.

I want to go to Second Corinthians.

Second Corinthians, I'm skipping a lot second Corinthians chapter

2 Corinthians 5:17–20

5 verse 17 through 20 says this. Therefore, if anyone is in

Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away,

behold. All things have become new right

now. All things are from God, who

reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us.

The ministry, are the office of service of reconciliation.

Namely that God Was in Christ, reconciling the word, the world

to himself not counting their trespasses against them and he

has committed unto us. The word of reconciliation.

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ as though God.

We're making an appeal through us, we beg you on the behalf of

Christ be reconciled. This is in context of talking

about being the priest of your own life and the fact that we

are living Epistles and people are reading us and as a royal

priesthood, right? As a holy nation as God's

chosen, we have the responsibility as priest.

Just like the priest did to be a voice for him as an ambassador.

What are we ambassadors? What are the That authority to

what represent the kingdom of God and the king.

And so we are his ambassadors and we have the responsibility

of living a Priestly life, a holy life.

So that when people see us, they see God, right represented

through our lives. But here, because we are here to

bring reconciliation to the world and how can Can people see

us as ambassadors? If we are not representing the

king properly. And living a Priestly life and a

holy life. People are not going to see

anything about us that would, you know, draw them.

So here we've been given the responsibility to help reconcile

man unto God. And how much more should we take

Serious? The fact that we should be that

Living, Sacrifice, that we should be consecrated and holy

unto him. So that when people when I go to

be a representative that then I can help others get into the

kingdom of God. Reconciling the world.

It's our responsibility as living sacrifices as the priest

of our own lives to make our self in a position as an

ambassador, to represent the king properly, so that we can

help reconcile the world to the kingdom of God.

Amen. Because we've been given the

ministry, the priests were that was their Ministry.

The priest, that's what their Ministry was.

And so, our ministry as individuals are those that are

going to then, help reconcile, man to God, people ought to see

our life and be able to say, wow, what is it about their

life? They're always overcoming their,

you know, they may be going through this, but it seems like

it always comes out on top, you know, look at their marriage.

Their marriage was in shambles before they came in, but God

Look at their marriage. Now Right?

So those things as an ambassador ought to be able to speak to the

world. And people, you know, we don't

even have to say a word, people should be able to read our life

and then then be the voice. To be able to speak how it is

that we're able to operate in this world and not be of it, and

the way that we're able to overcome and do the things that

we do because we've positioned ourself as priests, and in that

Ministry to help bring reconciliation to the world.

Amen! Hallelujah.

So we are Kings, but we are also priests and the the number one

place that it's going to Operate is in our own personal lives and
