  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message Podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. I'm so excited to be speaking

  4. today. Pastor Earl and Marcy I'm are

  5. currently down at our Anchor Faith Church in Managua doing a

  6. Kingdom Rise Conference. Come on, If you're connected to

  7. the vision of Anchor Faith Church, this is an exciting

  8. moment. We have every pastor from every

  9. Anchor Faith Church. Every Head Pastor and every

  10. Anchor Faith Church is currently, right now in Managua,

  11. bringing a Kingdom Rise Conference to a whole another

  12. country. This is something you're

  13. connected to, a vision you're a part of that weren't able to

  14. start seeing it truly influence the world.

  15. It's an exciting time. And so Pastor Earl had asked me

  16. to minister while he was out, which is always an honor to be

  17. able to speak in your own home, church, in your local body.

  18. You know, it's a blessing to be here.

  19. And so, you know, as I was preparing for this message, it

  20. just kept stirring within me the word Pastor Earl spoke at the

  21. beginning of the year called raining resonance, raining

  22. resonance. And I realized we're just over,

  23. you know, the halfway point of the year.

  24. You know, we're we're in into August, a couple months past

  25. halfway. And I thought it would be a

  26. great time to kind of revisit a little bit of that and kind of

  27. do a check in on ourselves and see how are we doing this year?

  28. How are we doing in raining this year?

  29. How is our resonance? Right.

  30. So Pastor had began. You know, if you've been in

  31. Anchor Faith Church for many years, you know, we don't always

  32. do like a word for the year kind of thing.

  33. That's not something we've always done before raining

  34. residents, we were doing equip for like 3 years.

  35. We just felt like it was time to equip, equip at Anchor Faith

  36. Church, what we were doing. So it's not we're not always

  37. seeking to have like a word for the year or something that's

  38. going on. But Pastor had it late in his

  39. heart the word Rayma. And obviously we're connected

  40. with the Rayma Bible Church, which is awesome, and we do a

  41. lot with them and they're great. But he was specifically talking

  42. about the spoken word, right? The spoken word of God, the

  43. Rayma word, the spoken word of God.

  44. And what he said was In 2023, your words will have power like

  45. never before. In 2023, our words will have

  46. power like never before, right? And so I want to go into today

  47. and just kind of look a little bit into it and give ourselves,

  48. like I said, a little check in on how are we doing this year,

  49. Are we raining in our words? Right.

  50. So if you're taking notes, the title of my message today is the

  51. empty echo of a quiet. King Oh, wow.

  52. Good. Thank you, put a lot of thought

  53. into this title. The empty echo of a quiet.

  54. King, Let's start in a mark, 1123 through 24, it says, Truly,

  55. I say to you, whoever says to this mountain be taken up and

  56. cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes

  57. what he says is going to happen. It will be granted him.

  58. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and

  59. ask, believe that you have received them and they will be

  60. granted to you, right? Truly, truly, I say to you

  61. whoever what says, whoever, what, whoever says to the

  62. mountain, right? So right out the bat Jesus is

  63. telling us, look, it's not just enough to believe in your heart,

  64. you have to what? Say something with your mouth.

  65. So what is resonance then, right?

  66. What is a resonance? Resonance means to have a

  67. lasting effect, right? When something has resonance, it

  68. means it resounds beyond. Just the immediate.

  69. I don't know. Has anyone ever been in You can

  70. raise your Hand one of those really quiet sound rooms.

  71. No, I mean I've been in a couple doing some sound boosts and what

  72. they do is they got like. All the phone, all over, all the

  73. walls. And you get in there, and I've

  74. been in one. It was actually at Rama Bible

  75. Church. They have one.

  76. And it's like, so quiet. You can hear your blood, like

  77. rushing in your veins, Like it's just like unsettlingly quiet,

  78. right? And so then when, like, you

  79. speak or clap, it just dies. Like instantly.

  80. There's no resonance at all. The minute you say something,

  81. it's like it comes out your mouth and then hits the ground

  82. and it's just gone. It's like the weirdest feeling

  83. to be involved in something that has no resounding or echoing

  84. fact at all. It just kind of ends, right?

  85. But we want our words to go on past us and then resound into

  86. the world, right? And we understand that our words

  87. have the ability to bring change.

  88. Your words have the ability to bring change.

  89. And I understand sometimes people get locked up on like you

  90. have authority right. Which we just saying some people

  91. get locked up on like what do you mean we have the authority

  92. that Jesus had. And so taking, you know that off

  93. the table for a second, naturally speaking, there's tons

  94. of science to prove your words literally do enact change,

  95. right. Has anyone remember that little,

  96. like, kindergarten thing where they took all the plants and

  97. they put them in a room and then they spoke really nice to the

  98. plants, right? They walk in like, you are so

  99. beautiful. Your shade of green is the only

  100. shade of green that has ever existed in all of the shades.

  101. This flower is so unique that you have blossoms yourself,

  102. right? And then they go to the other

  103. room. They're like, you are the

  104. ugliest plant I've ever seen. I don't that's not even you

  105. can't even call that green. Is this supposed to be a flower,

  106. right? And then they come back after

  107. weeks of talking to these plants and they literally see the ones

  108. you spoke life into. I've actually blossomed and

  109. bloomed and shown more positive growth than the ones you spoke

  110. negative to. And this even goes into music,

  111. right? They'll play like nice uplifting

  112. music or like really sad and dreary music.

  113. And then you see the difference of the effects on the plant.

  114. So I'm not just even talking spiritually, just from a natural

  115. standpoint. Your words and that change.

  116. This is just a proven thing, right?

  117. Then you got like this the the, the new thing.

  118. Like like manifesting, right. I'm going to manifest something.

  119. Right. And why does this work?

  120. Because this is here you go. You're tapping into an actual

  121. spiritual law on a natural see because the God said I have no

  122. problem speaking and saying oh, I'm beautiful and I'm feeling

  123. better. Whether they're not speaking the

  124. word they are speaking word. The Bible says you are

  125. beautifully and wonderfully made so you can be speaking word over

  126. your life without actually knowing you're speaking Word

  127. over your life and you're seeing the change because God has

  128. placed the law into effect that will change your life, right?

  129. So just from a natural standpoint, we have to

  130. understand that the words you speak do actually enact change

  131. on your life, right? And why is this important?

  132. Because if you aren't speaking anything, then you aren't

  133. changing anything. If you're not speaking anything,

  134. then you're not actually changing anything.

  135. And so we can't go into life wondering, why is nothing

  136. changing when we're keeping our mouth quiet, right?

  137. So we look back and we say, man, I want to have a reigning

  138. resonance. I want to have a reigning

  139. resonance. Proverbs 1820 and 21.

  140. Says with the fruit of a man's mouth, his stomach will be

  141. satisfied. He will be satisfied with the

  142. product of his lips. Death and life are in the power

  143. of the tongue and those who love it.

  144. Will eat its fruit. Death and life are in the power

  145. of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit,

  146. right? So what have we been decreeing

  147. this year? Because, you know, the word at

  148. the beginning of the year, to an extent, is basically just like

  149. a, you know, a spiritual, like New Year's resolution, right.

  150. A lot of times it's like you come, what are you going to do

  151. this year? I'm going to lose 15 pounds.

  152. What are you going to do this year?

  153. I'm going to read one book every month.

  154. And then you read like your first book for the first month,

  155. the second book for the second month.

  156. Then you read like half a book the third month.

  157. And then you don't finish that book and you read like, well,

  158. maybe I should just go to like a I'll just read this pamphlet.

  159. Like, you know, what blog articles that's reading those

  160. count. You know what?

  161. Actually, I read 4 Instagram status updates today.

  162. So I've got my reading in, you know, And so like that

  163. resolution just kind of like Phase and Trickles.

  164. And if we're not careful, our spiritual resolution can do the

  165. same thing, right? We get fired up, like, I'm going

  166. to have a rating resonance. And then two months later,

  167. something kind of comes and you're like, the words aren't

  168. really there anymore, right? And we're talking about you'll

  169. have whatever you say. Then we got to be saying some

  170. things, right? Do you want to a raining

  171. resonance or do you want an empty echo?

  172. We want to have a raining resonance.

  173. We want to be speaking life into not only our situations, but

  174. into the situations of those around us, right?

  175. Like we preach so much here at Anchor Faith Church.

  176. This isn't just about you. We have to get out of thinking

  177. so much about my personal walk. You need a personal walk, but

  178. you should have that locked down.

  179. I don't have a big personal walk goal because I locked down my

  180. personal walk. So I started thinking, how can I

  181. now enact change for those around me?

  182. I want to spend more. I want to get myself locked down

  183. and what I'm saying about me so that I can spend more time

  184. focusing on those around me, so that when I have to take time to

  185. do something, it's because I'm actually helping other people,

  186. right? And we should be looking out for

  187. those opportunities, finding things.

  188. Where can I put my word today, right?

  189. Because if you understand that your words have power, then we

  190. should be looking for opportunities to speak life

  191. somewhere. We should be searching for them.

  192. I'm not satisfied with not having something to speak about.

  193. If we live faith to faith, then I need to be looking for the

  194. next place to put my faith. I'm looking for the next thing.

  195. I'm never satisfied with what I just had.

  196. I'm looking for what I can be doing next, right?

  197. I'm looking forward, just like Pastor said in The Greatest

  198. Right. It's OK to want to achieve

  199. greatness, but greatness doesn't come by only being satisfied

  200. with what you had, right? Because if you do what someone

  201. else did, you only ever have what they had.

  202. I'm not looking to be as good as someone.

  203. I'm looking to be better. Therefore, I have to do more

  204. than they were willing to ever do.

  205. I have to be willing to go a step further than them, Right?

  206. Romans 8, four through 14. We'll do a little bit of reading

  207. here. Romans 8, four through 14.

  208. So the requirement. Of the law might be fulfilled in

  209. us who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the

  210. Spirit. For those who are according to

  211. the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those

  212. who are according to the Spirit. The things of the Spirit.

  213. For the mindset on the flesh is death, but the mindset on the

  214. Spirit is life and peace, because the mindset on the flesh

  215. is hostile towards God. For it does not subject itself

  216. to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those

  217. who are in the flesh cannot please God.

  218. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

  219. However, you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if

  220. indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.

  221. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not

  222. belong to him. If Christ is in you, though the

  223. body is dead because of sin, yet the Spirit is alive because of

  224. righteousness. But if the Spirit of him who

  225. raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised

  226. Christ Jesus from the dead will also give a life to your mortal

  227. bodies through his spell it who dwell his Spirit, who dwells in

  228. you. So then, brethren, we are under

  229. we are under obligation not to the flesh to live according to

  230. the flesh. For if you are living according

  231. to the flesh, you must die. But if by the Spirit you are

  232. putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

  233. For all those, for all who are being led by the Spirit of God,

  234. these are the sons of God. For all those who are being led

  235. by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

  236. And I would further add that all those who are led by the Spirit

  237. of God will speak from the Spirit of God, but those who are

  238. led by the flesh will speak from the flesh.

  239. Why? Because what you put in you will

  240. come out of you, right? What you're putting inside of

  241. you will inevitably be what comes out of you, right?

  242. And a quiet king won't see any change, because if you don't

  243. have anything in you to say, then you won't say anything,

  244. right? And he is the king of Who are

  245. those kings? We are so I don't want to be a

  246. quiet king. I want to enact change around

  247. me. I want to be speaking from the

  248. Spirit. I want to be speaking words of

  249. life. I want to be speaking something

  250. that's going to enact change in my life and the ones around me.

  251. But I can only do it if I'm if I'm putting the word inside of

  252. me, and if I believe that when I speak it will.

  253. Actually happen. Numbers 2319 says God is not a

  254. man, that he should lie, nor a son a man that he should repent.

  255. He has, he said, and he will, and he and will he not do it?

  256. Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?

  257. When God says He will do something, He will do it, and

  258. this is something we have to be so firmly persuaded about,

  259. because if I'm going to speak his words confidently then I

  260. need to know that they are backed. 100% See, I'm the kind

  261. of person who likes to be prepared.

  262. Like I like to be ready for whatever the situation is that

  263. I'm going to go into. There's nothing more that bugs

  264. me than when someone's like, hey, we need to meet next week

  265. and then like, gives you nothing else.

  266. OK, what are we meeting about? Like, what does this pertain to?

  267. I need to collect my information so that when I get to this

  268. meeting, I know what's going on. I don't like being surprised,

  269. like I want to build the case. I want to know what's going on.

  270. Am I in trouble? Have I done something wrong?

  271. Like you start saying like I haven't done anything wrong.

  272. Like I know I'm good, so I can't be that.

  273. What is it we need to know? I like to have the game plan

  274. right, because when you have the plan and you know what's going

  275. on, then you can show it with so much more confidence because I

  276. already know the outcome. When I already know the outcome,

  277. it's so much easier to deliver information.

  278. And so when I know that God will do what he says every time

  279. period, it's easy for me to speak His word because I know he

  280. will accomplish it. But I have to have that

  281. confidence that when I speak, it will go for Isaiah 5511.

  282. Isaiah 5511 says so will my word, which goes forth from my

  283. mouth. It will not return to me empty

  284. without accomplishing what I desire and without succeeding in

  285. the matter for which I sent it. We have to believe that we're

  286. speaking from the Spirit and that we're speaking the word.

  287. See, this is where people lock up.

  288. They think it's what they are saying that's actually doing the

  289. change. No, it's what God is telling you

  290. to say that will have change. It's not just me saying whatever

  291. I want hoping it will change. No, it's me saying what God has

  292. told me to say that will enact change because with his word is

  293. being spoken. I know it will accomplish

  294. whatever it was sent for, but my word being spoken can hang out

  295. there in a lot of hope, right? That's why some of us have been

  296. saying a lot of stuff without getting a game plan from God.

  297. And you're like, why is this not working?

  298. Why am I not seeing it? Because you haven't actually

  299. gotten the word to say, right? We want to get a word from God

  300. and then speak that word because that's what he's obligated to

  301. make sure is accomplished is His word.

  302. This is why we say you have to understand that God's word in

  303. your mouth is just as strong as God's word in His mouth.

  304. Why? Because if it's God's word, then

  305. He will accomplish it. You're just speaking it into

  306. existence. God still needs us to say some

  307. things. God still uses man and he needs

  308. us to speak that word into existence so he will go

  309. accomplish. It he's looking for you to open

  310. your mouth, not just be a quiet king.

  311. We can't be passive in our Kingdom relationship hoping

  312. someone else is going to say something for us.

  313. No, it's time for us to start speaking this stuff out.

  314. It's time for us to do it first, John 514 through 15 says.

  315. This is the confidence which we have before him, that if we ask

  316. anything according to his will, he hears us.

  317. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that

  318. we have the request which we have asked from him, right?

  319. So he's obligated to honor his word when you're asking

  320. according to his will. And This is why I like I said,

  321. This is why I think a lot of people get hung up, is they

  322. think they can just speak anything and God has to do it.

  323. Even if it sounds positive. Even if it's got all the well

  324. intentions. Even if you think it's the best

  325. course of action for your life. But God is obligated to honor

  326. his word and his will, and that's what he will see through

  327. to the end, right? So when we talk about having a

  328. reigning residence, we have to be resonating that which was

  329. spoken. We want to resonate that which

  330. God has spoken to us. A lot of time is God saying

  331. something and he's casting a word into your life and he's

  332. wanting you to push it into this resonance out into the world,

  333. but instead you let it hit you and then it becomes this empty

  334. echo of nothing. See, we're looking for the word

  335. of God, for our life, for the word of God on a situation.

  336. A lot of times people are trying to formulate some big game plan

  337. when they just need a word. You just need to speak that

  338. word, and if that's the only word you got, then you just keep

  339. saying it. Then you just keep saying that

  340. one thing. I've seen some people get led

  341. into baptism of Holy Spirit and sometimes they're like, look, if

  342. you only got 1, just keep saying the one thing over and over and

  343. over until it builds up enough that it starts overflowing and

  344. coming out. But then they think, well, I'm

  345. just saying the same thing, doesn't matter, just start

  346. somewhere, let it build and then it overflows out.

  347. Sometimes if you just start saying a word over and over, God

  348. will start bringing more context and like to that word, but he's

  349. waiting for you to start saying it and let it resonate out into

  350. the world. Some of you are just a few few

  351. spoken words away from getting what you need.

  352. I don't know how many times I've personally got just a little

  353. fragment of a sentence and then I just meditate on that fragment

  354. of a sentence and then it, and then it becomes something so

  355. much bigger it grows in. Sometimes it's months later I

  356. hear something else and I'm like.

  357. That's what that meant. That makes sense.

  358. I've heard things over my life that in the immediate didn't

  359. really connect with me. And then I've reviewed them and

  360. kind of sat on them and meditated on them, then let it

  361. go because I didn't really make a connection.

  362. The next thing you know, something else is spoken.

  363. I get and it connects in and boom, now I'm off on something,

  364. right? So some of you have a word that

  365. you just need to start enacting that one word and let everything

  366. else start piling onto it. Let everything else start

  367. forming around it, right? We don't want to be a quiet

  368. king. Our words have power when we're

  369. saying his words, right? Our words have power when we're

  370. saying his words, Second Corinthians 413 says.

  371. But having the same spirit of. Faith according to what is

  372. written. I believed, therefore I spoke.

  373. We also believe, therefore, we also those who believe will be

  374. speaking. When you know you know

  375. something, you want to talk about it.

  376. When you know you've got something, you want to let other

  377. people know. And so when we are truly doing

  378. this thing and we're believing what we've got going on, we're

  379. going to want to let other people know about it.

  380. We're going to want to say something about it.

  381. We're going to want to speak it into existence.

  382. You don't want to just hide it in yourself.

  383. No, you want other people to know.

  384. You want to see that they can see the change.

  385. You want to see change because sometimes you're not saying

  386. something that's happening in your life and someone might get

  387. sparked just by seeing the change that's affecting you, but

  388. because you're keeping it quiet, you're not impacting those

  389. around you. Now we want to be speaking

  390. Matthew. 823 to 27 This is when they got done.

  391. Jesus got done preaching. They're going across the other

  392. side of sea, he says. When he got into the boat, his

  393. disciples followed him, and behold, there arose a great

  394. storm. On the sea, so that the boat was

  395. covered with the waves. But Jesus himself was asleep,

  396. and they came to him and woke him saying, Save us, Lord, we

  397. are perishing. And he said to them, Why are you

  398. afraid, you men of little faith? Then he got up and rebuked the

  399. winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.

  400. And then they were amazed and said, What kind of man is this,

  401. that even the winds and the sea obey him?

  402. Jesus spoke to it. But see, they woke him up.

  403. And Jesus was like, where's your face?

  404. I gave you a word. OK, come on.

  405. I gave you a word that you could have spoken, but you stayed

  406. quiet. I gave you a word that we would

  407. get to the other side. I gave you something to hold on

  408. to. I gave you something.

  409. You could speak into existence. You could have stood here and

  410. said yourself, now we're going to make it to the other side.

  411. But because you held a word within you, no change took

  412. place. God wants us to be speaking, and

  413. he's telling them, where was your faith?

  414. You didn't believe that you could have done change here.

  415. You didn't have enough faith to believe the word I gave you, and

  416. so you were too scared to speak it.

  417. So you got to ask yourself, do I believe this thing, or am I

  418. holding on to a word God's given me because I'm scared it won't

  419. work? Because what if I do step out

  420. and I sink? At least you stepped out.

  421. Like I've said before, he took more steps on the water than

  422. anyone else. No one else in the Bible is

  423. credited for walking on water. We sure like to make fun of the

  424. guy for sinking, but he still stepped out there way farther

  425. than all the other disciples. It was him and Jesus walking on

  426. water for at least a moment, right?

  427. We can't lose sight of the word. We can't let the things around

  428. us affect the word that was spoken to us, right?

  429. This is why it's so important to have the word inside of you,

  430. right? Some of us are only dealing with

  431. surface problems because we only have surface word.

  432. See, when pressure comes, it's what's hidden deep down in your

  433. heart that starts to come out. When the pressure comes, it's

  434. those things that you've tucked away, those things you've

  435. meditated on, those things you've spent time in, that

  436. starts to reveal itself. Some of us are feeling pressure,

  437. but we haven't put enough word deep down, so it's not coming

  438. out. So on the surface we look good.

  439. Our little problems are fine because with a little pressure

  440. we got just enough. But once it starts to get tight,

  441. we realized we didn't put as much in as we thought we did.

  442. Why do we not see change? Do you have enough in you to be

  443. speaking? Do you have enough word in you

  444. that no matter what circumstances comes and it

  445. applies pressure, only the word will come out?

  446. I'm going to be honest, I'm not a big chapter verse guy.

  447. Like you know, that's not my strong suit.

  448. I read the Bible, I know get a lot of word, but I've always

  449. kind of struggled with like here's the word, here's where

  450. it's at. Like I know it because I've been

  451. in it enough and it's in there enough that it starts to squeeze

  452. out. And I've been in some

  453. conversations before and you know, the Holy Spirit has

  454. brought some things up that I've, I've wrote down

  455. afterwards. I've told my wife, sometimes I

  456. even preach messages and then some some section comes up

  457. that's not in your notes because you just get it by the Spirit

  458. and you're like, I come back and like add that back in for next

  459. time, right? Because when the word is in

  460. there, it's amazing how it will just start coming out right.

  461. I've been in conversations, just buddy conversations and

  462. something brings up and the next thing you know, some word is

  463. coming out. Why?

  464. Because I put it in me and it wants to get out.

  465. We talk about, we talk about in worship being overflowing.

  466. Why? Because you're so full it has to

  467. go somewhere else. Are we filling ourselves with

  468. the words so much that it has to get out or do we have such a

  469. surface amount of word that all these little surface problems

  470. keep draining anything before it can really sink in?

  471. Because I'm so focused on me and my immediate surface problems

  472. and I'm not getting enough where I got my Bahrain plan and I read

  473. and I checked this box, but I don't ever dive deeper because

  474. we all know that Bahrain plan. Some days it's like 3 minutes,

  475. right? Wednesdays is like Psalms and

  476. some of those things like you can get done reading before you

  477. even realize you started reading it.

  478. I've done it, Molly. Like you get done, you start

  479. reading like oh that was it. And I'm not a fast reader.

  480. Yeah. Then you do have other days

  481. where it's like I think like Thursday or Friday is where it's

  482. like you reading for like 40 minutes some, some, some maybe

  483. just me. Something might be a little

  484. slower, like I was reading for an hour and a half.

  485. I'm also one of those. Readers like I read it, then

  486. realize I read 3 pages and I didn't read 3 pages.

  487. You know, like I read it, but I didn't retain any of it.

  488. You know, like you read, then you're like, get to averse.

  489. Like, what are they talking about?

  490. Like, where did this come from? All of a sudden I had to go back

  491. and read it again. And I felt like, I'm like, like,

  492. you know, my daughter London's in Washington.

  493. She gets like those reading comprehension.

  494. Like what? What have you learned from

  495. reading? Sometimes I asked her a

  496. question. I was like, did you?

  497. That's like the title. And she's like, Mary had a

  498. little lamb. Who had the lamb?

  499. Oh, I don't remember her name. It's in the title of the book.

  500. Her name was Mary. What did you even read?

  501. And I you know. Like frustrates me.

  502. Then I realized I've read the bomb.

  503. I've done the same thing like King so and so was like where'd.

  504. This king come from, But then you ask yourself, do you keep

  505. going or do you go back and reread it?

  506. Because I know some of you sitting in the chair, I've done

  507. the same thing. We're like, yeah, I'll just pick

  508. up from here. Well, you get to so and so but

  509. get so and so but get so and so. You know, I love, you know,

  510. Joshua Clay because he's a big history Bible guy and you know,

  511. for me, like you just reading so and so, but get so and so, but

  512. get so. And so, like, you know, I'm

  513. reading this, but why? I don't even know my family tree

  514. this well. But then Josh comes in, He's

  515. like, did you realize David's father was actually this person

  516. was like, you know, I read it like four times.

  517. No, I did not realize. Right.

  518. So are we reading and actually trying to get something put

  519. inside of us? Or are we just going through

  520. emotion, trying to act like we're spiritual, trying to act

  521. like we got something? Because there's the thing

  522. Hebrews 412 says for the word of God is living and active.

  523. And sharper than any two edged sword, and piercing as far as

  524. the. Division of the soul and the

  525. spirit of joints and marrow, and able to judge thoughts and

  526. intentions of the heart. The word of God is like a sword.

  527. When we speak, we're getting battle ready.

  528. But if you ain't got the word, it's like running into a war

  529. with an empty sheath. Some of you are in a sword fight

  530. trying to Kung Fu with your arm. You ain't got no words.

  531. You just out there like, let's try to do something.

  532. We're leaving our weapon behind us, Running out into battle.

  533. Why we losing? Oh, I don't know why.

  534. I just keep feeling like you can't overcome this because I'm

  535. leaving my weapon behind. The big new thing, my praise is

  536. a weapon. I tell you something, the word

  537. is a weapon. Your praise is only a weapon if

  538. you're singing the Some of you are singing songs that ain't

  539. word and the weapon you're using is being used against you.

  540. Some of you are trying to praise your way through problems with

  541. the wrong songs and now you're just confession confessing

  542. death. So why we don't just sing

  543. anything in Anchor Faith? We check to make sure these

  544. words that we're going to be singing are going to be words of

  545. life. So why you can't just jump on

  546. YouTube and pick any worship band and then start going

  547. through their stuff? Because next thing you know,

  548. like I love this song. It's amazing.

  549. I realize you're confessing yourself into problems, but I'm

  550. worshipping. But what are you saying?

  551. Because most of your did. You just end up getting into

  552. emotion anyways and we find out if you ain't worshipping with

  553. the word then you're not really worshipping from the spirit.

  554. In a year of reigning residents, we got to check ourselves on

  555. everything we are saying. Because if we said our words

  556. will have power, then we want to make sure the words we're saying

  557. are going to be as powerful as possible for us, not against us.

  558. Because you all know you can get around someone who's negative

  559. and it's amazing how much of a drain they can be.

  560. You get around. Someone who's negative and it's

  561. just like you see them coming down the hall and you're like.

  562. What's the problem today? All right.

  563. Like you already know. There's gonna be something like

  564. no wonder there's never change. Every morning you wake up

  565. wanting to be angry. Like, what do you?

  566. Some of you might just need to have a morning confession.

  567. Tape it on your mirror. Say it whether you're mean it or

  568. not. Say it so repetitively that it's

  569. eventually sinks into your spirit.

  570. Then you do mean it, right? Because if we believe our words

  571. have changed and we want to be finding as much to speak about

  572. as possible, as much to confess about as possible, some of us

  573. are just a a simple mind shift away from having so much things

  574. open up in our life. If we can just start confessing

  575. something a little different, or just start confessing something

  576. we haven't been. This is why it's so important to

  577. watch what you are saying and to watch what you got being put

  578. inside of you. Like I said, I want to be so

  579. filled with something that it has to come out.

  580. I want to be so filled with something that is all that can

  581. come out. And look, I've seen movies.

  582. I've seen a lot of movies. I can probably quote movies

  583. right up underneath how much I can quote the Bible.

  584. So it's not like I'm saying you got to spend all your time just

  585. praying in the Spirit instead of doing anything else.

  586. But my point is, are you prioritizing it at least enough

  587. that it's there? Are we putting enough emphasis

  588. or are we just giving it Sunday, Wednesday emphasis?

  589. Because I'm telling you now, Sunday, Wednesday emphasis on

  590. the word will only help you with surface problems.

  591. Like Pastor said, a whole lot of time.

  592. That's only, what, 234 hours out of your whole week?

  593. Out of your whole week. So we got to be making sure

  594. we're putting the word in us outside of just this one time of

  595. just this two times a week. Look, I'm telling you, I don't

  596. want to be a quiet king. I don't want to have an empty

  597. echo. I want to be able to speak words

  598. of life into my life and those around me.

  599. I want to be able to speak words of life into people, not even in

  600. this building right now. I want to speak words of life

  601. that that resounds into generations.

  602. I want to speak words of life that impact my kids, that impact

  603. their kids, that impact their kids.

  604. I hope when I have great grandkids one day they go, well,

  605. well, great, Papa Chase used to say, because my words have

  606. resounded so much further past my own life, you can have a

  607. resounding you can have a reigning resonance that impacts

  608. so much further than you if you're willing to start stepping

  609. out and speaking. You know, we sit back and we

  610. think about all these greats in faith and greats in the Bible

  611. and these historical accounts that happen and all this kind of

  612. stuff. We're like, wow, look how it's,

  613. you know, impact their lives. And we got to think man, what is

  614. my resonance? What will be spoken of me in the

  615. history? I really didn't, you know,

  616. appreciate all that. Maybe it's not the world

  617. history, but maybe it's just your family history.

  618. But how will you be spoken of in your family history?

  619. When we look back we say man, he had so many see growing up as a

  620. pastor's. I got so young.

  621. As I got older, I realized how much word and opportunity I had,

  622. you know? And so, like, now I always

  623. people like, oh, how is this, you know, how is it going with,

  624. you know, Pastor Earl on this thing or going here?

  625. And I'm like, honestly my favorite moments.

  626. That I get to be a part of are when we go to the dinners or we

  627. go to the and you can just sit back and be like a fly on the

  628. wall and hear these ministers who have been doing it for so

  629. long and just all these little bits.

  630. That they drop, that you can just start to absorb.

  631. And I didn't realize how impactful that not only has been

  632. on my my personal life, but then even into like my parenting

  633. style. And so all these kind of why?

  634. Because I realized, man, I'm getting to sit around these

  635. people that are so. Filled with the word just in

  636. random conversation that isn't even about the Bible, they're

  637. dropping these spiritual Nuggets because it's just all that flows

  638. out of them. Right.

  639. You sit at this table in your eyes, man.

  640. I'm picking up so much that they might have been doing for the

  641. last 30 years that this conversation probably means

  642. nothing to them. They're just having a good time.

  643. And I'm like, man, I can apply this now.

  644. I can see change now, you know? And so you sit down and you

  645. think, man, those words they're speaking are resounding past

  646. them without them even realizing it.

  647. Because here's the thing, every word you speak has the ability

  648. to resound past due period. So are you saying things you

  649. don't mind your kids hearing, or are you dropping things that's

  650. resonating in them, that you don't realize how much it's

  651. resonated in them? That's why we got to watch what

  652. we say sometimes, too. I'll never forget when I was,

  653. you know, or my oldest daughter was younger.

  654. We had a dog and I don't remember what happened.

  655. It was like a small dog or something like that.

  656. I hate small dogs. Don't understand the point of a

  657. small dog, right? They're just always in the way.

  658. They bring nothing to the table. What is the point of a small

  659. dog? Don't get it right.

  660. So I'm walking through the house one day and I step on the dog

  661. and I trip because it's a small dog and like you kind of feel

  662. it. So you know, so you do that kind

  663. of half step thing because you don't want to crush it.

  664. Something like you kind of fall. And like as I fall, I kind of

  665. like kick back because I'm trying to.

  666. The dog goes flying across the hallway and I'm angry.

  667. So I like, punch the wall kind of on my way down.

  668. And I look over and my daughter staring at me and I realized

  669. really quickly it looks like I just punted this dog across the

  670. room and punched the wall. So I was like man, And she's

  671. just so I look at her and I was like, will you please forgive me

  672. for being angry In this moment I lost my temper even though I

  673. really didn't kick the dog. I realized she saw it and there

  674. was probably no real explaining away how it looked when the this

  675. like £5 dog goes slinging into a door and running away.

  676. So I went like picked up the dog in front of her and like let her

  677. know like hey mean I love this dog.

  678. So excited, I drove 5 hours to pick this thing up, right?

  679. Let me put it back now. Why?

  680. Because I realized I had the ability now for my daughter to

  681. have a thought about me that would stay with her whether it

  682. was a big deal or not because it's amazing what impacts kids.

  683. Man, I'll know. I we took, we went to Downtown

  684. Disney one day, just me and my wife.

  685. We were like celebrating anniversary something.

  686. So we want to get our kids something.

  687. So obviously like, you know, like good parents.

  688. I went in and it's Downtown Disney.

  689. So I spent like $150.00 on a bracelet made of plastic, right?

  690. You're like, she's going to love it and you're going to love this

  691. thing. I'm going to be a great parent.

  692. And then I had like changed. So I also did like the little

  693. quarter roll thing where the penny comes out, You know, it's

  694. like $0.75 for a penny. What a markup that is.

  695. So I come back, I give her the bracelet and I give her the

  696. penny. She loses the bracelet in an

  697. hour but can't shut up about this penny.

  698. I could have saved so much money if I just would have got the

  699. penny right? But the truth is you don't know

  700. sometimes what is gonna make the most impact on them, what

  701. they're gonna and most of you if your parents, you realize this,

  702. you ask like, oh, how was the, you know you go on like a big

  703. family vacation. Like what?

  704. Was your favorite part. And then they tell you, like

  705. that was your favorite part. Like we did all of this, and the

  706. extra cheesy popcorn is the most memorable thing you have.

  707. Right. But that's why it's so important

  708. that we're paying attention to what we're putting out because

  709. we don't always realize the positive or negative side of

  710. what it is. And so when we talk about having

  711. a reigning residence and you're going to have what you say, then

  712. we want to be taking captive all of our words to making sure what

  713. we're saying is going to be the most impactful.

  714. That I'm placing my word in the opportune places to enact the

  715. most change possible, and I'm not letting myself slip when

  716. pressure starts to come. Because here's the thing, when

  717. you start speaking a word, pressure will come.

  718. Because obviously the enemy doesn't want everything to be

  719. accomplished. But it's because you keep the

  720. word inside you that you push through that pressure, and then

  721. you hold on to those things and you look back on his

  722. faithfulness and you say, man, look how far I've come on my

  723. walk with God. This would have probably

  724. stumped, you know, made me stumble a year ago.

  725. Now it's not even a thought, right?

  726. Has anyone progressed to a point that you have an unexpected bill

  727. or unexpected something come up and then in your mind you're

  728. just like, this is nothing. I've seen God's faithfulness way

  729. beyond this. I can handle this thing.

  730. I've seen God's faithfulness so much in my life.

  731. This isn't even a thought for me.

  732. I'm just going to put a word on it and get moving.

  733. I'm just going to put a word on it and move on to the next thing

  734. because I'm not going to let it try to get me off course.

  735. I'm not going to let it apply pressure.

  736. It doesn't need to because I got word available for it.

  737. And then you realize you get so much word build up that when

  738. something even try can't even apply pressure because the word

  739. is just right there. The word is just right there,

  740. you know, like I said, I like movies and I find myself

  741. sometimes quote movies with the family.

  742. You know, sometimes I say something real quick.

  743. I'm pretty quick, pretty fast with the comebacks.

  744. I'm pretty quick with like recalling things and sometimes

  745. do that. But at the same time, I also

  746. have realized that now and I think, you know, this is God,

  747. you know, showing me something I've realized in conversation.

  748. Sometimes I I give like a. Scripture real fast or a

  749. scripture comes to mind super fast.

  750. I'm like that was fast that recall was.

  751. Quick Why? Because I put it there for the

  752. Holy Spirit to pull on it. Some of us are wanting the Holy

  753. Spirit to try to pull on things you haven't put in.

  754. The Holy Spirit can recall it to you if you've put it there to be

  755. recalled. So it's on us to put things

  756. there to be recalled, right? So like I said, are we having a

  757. reigning resonance or an empty echo?

  758. Ephesians 320 says now to him, who is able to do far more

  759. abundantly beyond all that we ask or think.

  760. Then you can come up according to the power that works.

  761. Within us, not only is God going to make His word happen, He will

  762. show up far beyond what we thought He could even be

  763. accomplished. Come on, that should be a little

  764. bit more exciting, right? God is not only going to

  765. accomplish the thing he said, but he can go far beyond that

  766. which he said he would. Like I said, what are we saying?

  767. Because some of the stuff we need is just a couple sayings

  768. away from something far and beyond showing up.

  769. Some of the stuff we're going through, we're just a couple

  770. speaking the word away from God, showing up far beyond what we

  771. could have imagined from God, taking it to a place we didn't

  772. even think was possible. So I want to ask today, do we

  773. have a raining resonance? Do we have a raining resonance

  774. or have we let it start to fade as the year has gone on?

  775. No, I'm not going to let my word fade.

  776. I'm going to end this year strong.

  777. And maybe there's some things you were speaking on in January

  778. that you didn't see by February. So you stop speaking on that.

  779. You need to pick back up right now so that we can see it before

  780. the end of the year because I'm not going to let something take

  781. away a word from me. I'm not going to let time Get Me

  782. Out of where God wanted me to be because I'm going to open my

  783. mouth. I'm going to start speaking life

  784. into this problem. I'm going to start speaking life

  785. into this situation. I'm going to start speaking life

  786. into my kids. I'm going to start speaking life

  787. into my family. I'm going to start speaking life

  788. into my job. I'm going to start speaking life

  789. into those around me. I'm going to start speaking life

  790. into whatever it is you got going on.

  791. There's a word for it that is life, if you're willing to say

  792. it. Thank you so much for listening
