I haven't done a lot of Wednesday nights because Pastor

Marcy's had us in a series on the Holy Spirit.

Aren't you thankful for that? Again, I thank God for the

teaching gift that Pastor Marcy is.

And she said, look, I really feel like, you know, we've just

got a lot of new people and we really need to take some time

to, you know, minister on the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.

And I said that's fine, go. And so, you know, it frees me up

to be able to do some additional things that are necessary for

the vision on the Wednesdays. Again, thankful to God that I

don't have to do every service. But you know, it seemed right

with us that I would do this Wednesday instead of her since

I'll be out for a couple more and just want to actually come

back and do a leadership lesson. You know, cause when I was doing

them consistently on Wednesdays, we will periodically jump in and

do a leadership lesson because it's important that the times

we're living in believers can take over because there are

principles that we are willing to apply that the world is not.

And it will cause you to thrive and to to be exalted.

Now, when I say that, I don't mean that in a negative sense

because the Bible says he who humbles himself will be exalted.

So it's a byproduct. If you're literally doing God's

word, then he will elevate you so that your influence in the

workplace will grow again. It's not for your glorious

because you keep making him shine.

Right, So again, it will exalt you.

In essence, it will cause you to rise up within the organization

that you work at. Because God wants his people to

be the head and not the tail. To be above and not beneath.

He's the wants them to be the blessed ones.

And so he will cause increase again.

You should be increasing in your life.

If you look back five years or 10 years and you're no better,

you need to be asking yourself, am I not applying the word

properly? Because when you apply the word

properly, you are going to be in different places, period.

Because it's just a product of what God does to those who obey

His Word and want to follow Him with their whole heart, soul,

mind and strength. Amen.

So in Second Timothy, chapter 3, verses one through 7, we've used

2 Timothy 3 · chapter mention

this a few times, but you know, I I think it's a good place for

us to launch out on, it says. But realizing this, that in the

last days difficult times will come.

For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful,

arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

unloving, irreconcilable, malicious, gossips without

self-control, brutal haters of good, treacherous.

Reckless, conceited lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of

God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have

denied His power, Avoid such men as these.

Okay for among them are those who enter into households and

captivate weak women, weighed down with sins, led on by

various impulse, always learning, and never able to come

to the knowledge of truth. So learning does not mean you're

being taught. Okay learning does not mean

you're being taught. And we know in our society.

You know from the political side, okay and it's rampant.

If there's a problem everyone touts, we just need more

education. Well, we are the one of the

most. We have the greatest opportunity

for education than any other nation, and that's male, female,

minority. Doesn't matter.

Everybody has an opportunity to be educated.

And we have so many universities, so many schools,

public schools, right? You know, free education at the

end of the day. And yet we are not a better

nation because of education. So we're always learning, but

we're never being taught. And so, you know, the Bible

tells us that in these last days that there's going to be groups

of people that are going to always be learning.

And in essence, they're going to have title after title after

title, meaning degree after degree after degree, which means

they're going to be what's considered experts yet.

It will be as if they never assimilate to something, Okay.

And so you know, they can't ever come to the knowledge of truth.

And that's problematic because, again, if you're going to as

believers, we are to be led by truth because he's a spirit.

Are you hearing me? And so we don't want to be the

ones that are always learning and not being able to know how

to follow the Holy Ghost. And hear truth and understand

truth and then acquire knowledge.

OK, but the problem is, is that the more you know, the the more

one knows and is recognized for their knowledge.

The risk of pride is present. Now I do a teaching with our

teachers at Washington and, you know, with treasure of a

preschool, it applies a little more with Washington because of

the content that they have to give with our students than it

does with our preschool staff. Because you know, again, they're

basically just teaching them how to figure out colors and numbers

and shapes, right? And and they consider extreme, I

mean, it's preschool education, OK.

But when you get into Washington now, you know you're going on

into higher subjects. And what happens is they become

so inundated with the information that's out there

that you know you can get so much information that you have

knowledge of it, and you can begin to think more highly of

yourself than you ought, you know, because you could be like

you know. A Jeopardy person that knows a

lot of stuff. But that doesn't mean your life

is victorious, right? In fact, the Bible says

knowledge alone puffs up. So the more you know OK, then

the more at risk. You are at pride because you can

rest on your knowledge instead of resting on the Lord and your

purpose and assignment. Now knowledge that we acquire is

to help our assignment. Okay.

It's not so that we can impress people with how much we know.

Okay, because again, what gives knowledge If you emotionally

fall apart when the trial comes, are you hearing me?

You know, I don't care if you know calculus, because if you

fall apart the minute you know a bill you know goes and you can't

seem to pay it, what's the what's the issue?

This is simple arithmetic at this point, and you're

emotionally falling apart because you can't figure out how

you're going to pay that. OK, so you know, we have to put

ourselves in a different perspective now.

How many? You're doing your Bible reading,

playing with us? All right.

You know, we just read John Chapter 9.

John 9 · chapter mention

This is a great context where we're talking about remaining

teachable. OK, And so obviously Jesus

passed by and there was a blind man from birth.

Correct. He heals the guy by, you know,

telling him he sped on the ground, put some clay in his

eyes, and he told him to go wash it in the pool of Salome.

And then obviously once he came back, he could see right?

Well, he does this on the Sabbath.

So all the experts, the educated, the ones that had all

the knowledge are miffed. They are upset.

In fact, they are accusing Jesus as being a Sinner because he has

to be a Sinner since he has done this on the Sabbath.

Disregard. The guy has never seen a day in

his life. OK, don't worry about the

miracle we we're we're too hung up in our tradition and and our

knowledge and who we are and and and what we've accomplished, OK?

And because they've not healed anybody, ever, of being blind,

you know they've got issues. This is a thing.

This is the problem with education alone.

You'll put your trust and information in your head, but

you actually have no experience. But you can acquire a lot of

knowledge about things but not actually have the experience of

the things you're talking about. You understand you can give a

class on how to run a business and never ran one and tell

everybody how to run one until something falls apart in

business like supply chain or something like that.

And then you got issues going on.

You got all the emotional strain that's going to help meet

customers and stuff. But you know, they don't have

that issue, They just get to teach it.

OK. And so these guys here obviously

are really aggravated about it because they want to look better

than Jesus. They're really upset that he's

created such a crowd and he has such authority.

And so, you know, they won't even believe the guys actually

was was blind from birth. So they have to pull the parents

in, right? I mean, this is how skeptical

they are. Can't.

I mean, can't you just imagine the arrogance that's happening

in this conversation? OK.

That's happening at this particular point in time.

You know, you know, cuz he says man, you know who he is?

He well his name was, Gee, he's a prophet.

And they are just utterly beside themselves over the statements

this guy's making concerning Jesus.

So they pull the parents in, as you know, in this 9th chapter

and they're like obviously concerned about the Jews and you

know how they're going to attack their family.

So they're like, look, he's old enough, ask him yourself.

So they're like, tell us, tell us how you got healed, he said.

I already told you're not listening.

This is the problem. When people are not teachable,

they don't want to hear anything that doesn't fit their

narrative. This is the problem that all of

a sudden when people don't want to get, you know, understanding,

you know, they have their thing where they're at.

And they're, if it's not the way I look at it, only now, again,

I'm not saying if you're rooted in Christ, in his word.

Cause you got to be conscious about this fact is that if you

know that you know the word says this, then that's one thing

you're standing on. But we're talking about people

who just has knowledge and opinions, OK?

It's their interpretation because this guy has obviously

had a miracle happen in his life, and instead of them

rejoicing and wanting to find out who, how and what, they're

disregarding it because it doesn't fit their narrative.

It's attacking their authority. Because the Pharisees know a

king is coming, and you understand the Pharisees would

have accepted Jesus if he would have bowed to him, If he would

have bowed to them. OK, because again, it's easy to

be a king as long as the king gets still submitted to someone

else, because people will accept kingship as long as you're

actually bound. To me.

But out front, it looks like this was the issue with Jezebel.

Well, you can be king, but at the end of the day, you're gonna

do what I say. Right.

And she checked him on more than one occasion and said, I thought

you were king. I'll take care of this for you,

OK? So at the end of the day, we

know. That there's this huge argument

that kind of takes place, you know, amongst them concerning

him. And what I find interesting is

that starting around, let's say 31, it says let's do a 30.

And the man answered and said to him, well, here is an amazing

thing, let's go back up further. Let's go to 27.

And he answered them. I told you already, you did not

listen. Why do you want to hear it

again? You do not want to become his

disciples to do you. And they are upset about that.

They say you are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

So again you know their university is better than his

university. We know that God has spoken to

Moses, but As for this man, we do not know where he's from.

And the man answer and said to him, well, here's an amazing

thing, you do not do not know where he's from yet.

He opened my eyes. He says we know that God does

not hear sinners. But if anyone is God fearing and

does as well, he hears him. Since the beginning of time, he

has never been heard. That anyone open the eyes of a

person born blonde, verse 33, if this man were not of God, he

could do nothing and they answered him said you were born

entirely incense and you are teaching us, so they put him

out. The problem is, is when we

decide we're not going to be teachable anymore, then we're

not going to be willing to listen to anybody.

When you're teachable, though, you'll learn from anyone or any

experience that actually reveals God's Kingdom and righteousness.

So testimonies that are actually demonstrating God's Kingdom

you'll want to learn from. But if you want to be the one

that the miracles work through, or that everybody looks at, then

you will disregard them. We've got to watch out that we

don't want to become people that we acquire.

Because again we say this in Kingdom Institute students is

that our second year students are our most dangerous students.

It's because they've developed some knowledge through first

year. We're coming into second year.

If you don't watch out, you can get prideful about what you

know. We found this out with Rayma

graduates, Rayma graduates. And it's not just here, It's any

church. The risk when a pastor sends

someone to go to Rayma that they graduated from Rayma, that that

individual when they come back, acts like they know everything

the pastor knows now. Well, you do know cause you were

in the same classes and you were taught the same thing, but that

doesn't mean you have the gift that we have, right?

And again, if you're not called to be the overseer of the church

that sent you and you're coming back to help.

Well, now you can't presume that you would know how it's done

because you don't have that actually anointing.

And if you actually learn something, Raymond, you know

that you should actually be submitting instead of acting

like you're you could do it better than them.

Because again, if you're called to actually lead a ministry,

then leave and go do it, because I'm amazed at how many won't go

and do it, but they'll want to critique the one who actually

left and did it. And this is what happens.

Same thing happens. You know what jobs you know as

well as I do? Someone you know.

You're training them in a particular field.

Then they go and get some classes.

They come at. Now I they know as much as you.

Well, they may know as much as you.

But the question is, is can you still teach them something and

would they be willing to learn it if you learned it?

Because I don't mind learning from anyone.

Some of my greatest teachings that I received is from hearing

other people. In fact, I've got a great

message that I that I received and I say message I'm just

saying a statement that a pastor Josh that we went to Alabama,

he's 23 years old, 2323 years old and he made a statement

about worship and his generation.

And man, it was. I said, man, I am preaching that

now. He just gave a statement, but I

know there's a whole message there and I took notes.

I said I am preaching that. I am preaching that I did not

let my 30 years older experience and ministry that is 10 times

the size and scope. Hinder me from receiving a word

from that. That man, I'm like, bro, that's

good. I have never saw that angle from

there. I am preaching that.

I asked if I could preach it tonight, but the Lord won't let

me. So it's coming.

I say it's coming. It's good.

Oh my gosh, it's good. But you got to have a heart to

hear. And I'm amazed at how fast

people just disregard things. You know, the biggest challenge

in all churches is what is the words.

I'm saying having to filter through you because there are

many things that can hinder us from being teachable.

The first one, obviously, would be an offense.

If you're in offense, you're going to not be taught because

you're offended with anything that begins to challenge the way

you're positioning yourself. That's going to be an issue.

Unforgiveness will be another one.

Hardening your heart that's going to be another one.

So there are multiple things that can take place and some are

just perceptions. What some people perceive my

wife is always, you know, saying when they take pictures.

Man, you look you look mad. I said I can't do nothing about

my forehead. You know, I mean I'm.

I'm trying to smile even now here I am.

But you know when I'm because for me and I had to tell our

staff this at times if I'm thinking.

And I'm really like intent trying to hear.

I'm like in thought, like in my inner man, I look like this.

I mean, I do. I'm like, what's what's he

saying? Because I'm like trying to hear

in my spirit. But if I'm walking down the

hallway and I'm like, in this conversation with God, I'm

trying to get something. Well, you know, pastor, why you

mad? Not mad.

This is not mad. This is thinking.

I'm just thinking, I mean, I can't help.

That's the way my I I can't think like this.

I mean, it does. It's not natural, you know, I

mean, I would have to start taping my eyebrows up, you know,

when we're here, ministry, you know, and tape here.

So I just always smile. Some people just have that, you

know, But me, you know, when I start getting something out of

the work, you know, you just start getting like here we go.

And you know, it doesn't always translate well on film.

Right. You look like you're being

upset. And then when you get really

passionate, you yell you about something, like, come on, you

know, that's like, wow. Then they catch that picture and

you're like, OK, just be in service.

It's going to be fun. The point is, is that if you

don't watch out, people starting to do things based upon outward

judgment, and then we start to hinder ourselves.

You know, when I get in a room, I don't care where it's at.

I'm always like there's something I could learn here.

And if it's here, I'm going to get mine.

I've always developed my relationships this way.

I'm going to get mine. Mean it, Whatever there is to

learn, I'm going to receive it. Now, I may be in the room and

could give out all kinds of stuff, but at the end of the

day, if they don't want to receive what I have, that's

fine. I'm going to receive because I

will remain teachable. I want to grow.

This is why every Vision partner I say I'll be a better pastor in

five years. Because I'm learning, I'm

growing. That doesn't imply that I'm a

bad one today. We're progressing.

You know, I learn more, You know, I can apply the fruits

faster. You know, there's just more

revelation, knowledge. My IT continues to expand me in

my capacity to be able to do things.

Amen. So you're always learning.

You're always growing. You're always you know,

listening and and and I'm sensitive enough by the Holy

Ghost to recognize when I'm in a room and conversations happening

and things are starting to happen and it's coming from me.

I'm like man, I'm hearing the Holy Ghost about how to handle

these situations cause in the natural, I'm not trained to

think that way. OK, but it comes because you're

always trying to learn. OK, so you want to be teachable?

OK. Second Timothy chapter 3, verse

2 Timothy 3:16

16 and 17 says this. All scripture is inspired by God

and profitable for teaching. For proof for correction.

For training and righteousness, so that the man of God may be

adequate equipped for every good work.

The passion says it this way. Every Scripture has been written

by the Holy Spirit and breathe, breath, and the breath of God.

It will empower you by its instruction and correction,

giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you

deeper into the path of godliness.

Then you will be God's servant, fully mature, and perfectly

prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.

So you have to then recognize what are some ways to be taught

and to remain teachable. Because at the end of the day,

we are supposed to be enlisted as pupils.

We're always growing. I mean, the more I do learn

about God, I immediately equally know how much I don't know.

So it doesn't matter how much I know.

And I could get into certain places because the revelation I

have is different than the revelation others have.

And again, anything that I have is because God revealed that to

me. It's not because I figure that

out on my own. I have enough wisdom to be able

to have the mind of Daniel and Daniel when he stood before,

Nebuchadnesser says. First of all, I just want to

tell you I do not have an intelligence more than anyone

else. So the reason this

interpretation is going down is not because although I am 10

times smarter than everybody based upon the test that got me

here in the 1st place, because he did have that, he's letting

them know. In this case, no amount of

studying would be able to give this kind of information.

Can't happen. So what I'm about to say,

there's no way a natural person could have ever come to this

conclusion, Could have studied it, period.

So as far as education is concerned and natural knowledge,

everybody in the room's the same.

You just need to know that. But there is a God, and I have

talked to him, and so here's your dream, right?

Are you hearing me? So at the end of the day, we

always have to have this acknowledgement that God is the

one who gave us revelation. But Paul himself says that we

are to live to the place we have attained.

OK, so I'll give you a case of point again.

I was raised in a denominational church.

It was the Southern Baptist Church.

And you know what truth they taught?

They taught you must be born again, that you are Sinner, that

you were going to be eternally separated from God, that Jesus

paid the price for your sin, and that if you call on his name

that he will save you, if you make him Lord of your life,

you'll be born again. And that's the truth now.

That's the only thing I learned there.

And if I never left that church, it may still be the only thing

that I would know. But I went to an assembly God

church. And at the assembly God church.

They taught me about the baptism, the Holy Ghost,

whatever, speaking the tongues. You know what I did not abandon,

I did not abandon. You must be born again.

That truth's carried with me. So then I got filled with the

Holy Ghost. Power came upon me.

I received the language of the Kingdom.

I speak an unknown tongue and I have power and man, It's way

better. But that's all I learned at that

church. Even though that pastor

graduated from Rayma so I was full of the Holy Ghost could

preach a powerful salvation message because I was raised in

the Baptist Church, but I was not really competent at getting

people baptizing. The Holy Ghost didn't even

minister on it because it wasn't in.

I received enough revelation to walk in it but to teach it whole

nother ball game. Then when I went to Rama, I

found out all kinds of subjects, all kind of trees were

available. But I didn't abandoned.

You must be born again. I didn't abandon yet you.

I was baptized The Holy Ghost. Whatever.

Speaking of tongues, now there's healing.

Now there's faith for everything.

Now there's the authority of the believer.

Now there's prosperity. And you're learning all these

things. Well, guess what I've acquired?

I could never go back to the Southern Baptist Church because

I've attained somewhere, not because I'm smart.

It's because the spirit of God revealed those truths that now I

walk in, nobody would ever be able to come to me and tell me

tongues are of the devil. I would laugh.

No one could come and tell me that healing passed away with

the last. I would laugh because I know

it's a lie. I'm walking in the light of that

truth. So Paul says you have to live to

where you attain to, and if we do not, we can slip back.

I said we can slip because the Bible is very clear, even what

you have. If you're not exercising the

revelation you have, then even what you have can be taken away.

So you never want to compromise your revelation.

I said you never want to compromise your revelation.

Now revelation will only be knowledge if not mixed with

faith. Are you hearing me?

Revelation will always will only be knowledge if not mixed with

faith because we are to live by faith.

I am actively living in faith-based upon all the

revelation that I have. So again, when I step out in a

particular area, if if it's requiring the believers

authority, well like the storm, I mean I'm asking the Lord now,

Lord, I know we can speak to storms.

What about Franklin? And what about?

What was her name? That one?

OK, Edalia, So what do you want us to say?

Where? What are we speaking?

What conversations are we having?

But I'm now having an exercise revelation.

I can't doubt that I have authority in the earth

concerning winds and waves because Jesus said the works

that I do in greater works will you do so There's some

conversation that can take place.

I would love to be able to get to that place of revelation that

I could stop storms from ever going to anyone's house.

But I don't know if you can do that because there are places

that pull death to them. The wages of sin is, which means

you pull things that can create separations in your life.

I mean, it just happens. Whole communities are built on

policies and and act and governing.

That is against God, and you don't think it's gonna pull

things to you. So you might be able to protect

your own personal self in the community.

You understand the community can get so bad that God won't even

let you protect the community, but only yourself, because this

is what he told Jeremiah, he said.

Jeremiah, you and my covenant community called Israel.

I know you're there, and I know you're gonna be speaking things

about repentance to them, but they're not gonna do it now.

I'm just going to let you know. Don't intercede for him because

I'm telling you, we have come to the point that the wrath is

coming and you're warning them and you're telling them to

repent. But I know they're not, because

it just allows me as the prosecuting attorney, to be able

to bring the case before the father so that the thing's going

to happen. Like it's going to happen.

Are you hearing me? He said.

Cuz I'm gonna tell you right now, I don't care if Daniel was

there, I don't care if Moses was there, and I don't care if one

other person, I think he mentioned maybe it was Elijah.

If they were, they could not save this community.

They would only be able to save themselves.

Are you hearing me? So you have to be able.

That's why I love the Bible so much.

It's amazing how many people pick and choose.

That's why. Like, well, Pastor Earl, if

you're Speaking of storm then, and you got that throw, why

don't you just tell it to be quiet and be still like the Lord

did? Well, there's other factors.

Some prophet showed up and was able to stand in the gap and

keep the community from having issues.

But there's other times that that's not the case.

So once again, you have to hear God.

That's the problem with people who only want to have knowledge

without revelation. They'll go to the book, see

something, and then try to immolate it, imitate it without

actually having revelation. That's what the seven sons of

Skiva did. They wanted to imitate it

without actually having a revelation of it.

And so they try something and you're not.

You're trying something. I don't try anything.

I ask the Lord. Then I'm firmly persuaded and I

stand in faith on it. And that's what God's constantly

wanting us to learn and be taught in.

But in order to do that, we have to be constant studiers of the

Word, and we have to always be learning and realize we've got

to keep learning. I've been around quite a few

pastors that are preaching messages that are 1520 thirty

years old and they are informational because they're

not actually doing them. We should be having real time

testimonies, not back here. Now we can talk about it back

here as long as we're still having some right here because

the back here is just keeping reinforcing the things that are

happening right here. So you got to look at your life

and say you know, am I progressing?

So what are some ways to be taught?

Well, the first thing is this. Again, you're wanting to remain

teachable so that wherever you're at, you can expand.

You can be used more. Because if you'll remain

teachable in whatever place God has played, whatever sector of

society God's placed you in, he will cause you to rise to the

top. But you've got to be able to

keep it a spirit of humility to be taught.

And you don't care who's in the room, whether it's someone

younger or whether it's someone older.

Wherever it comes you'll learn. Amen.

Number one, you wanna a way that to be taught is by studying the

scriptures personally. Now again when I say that, it

will help you even in the workplace because as you study

the scriptures personally then it allows you to hear and know

the voice of God. So when the Holy Spirit then

gives you an idea at work, you will know that was of God.

So you second Timothy 215 says, study to show yourself approved

unto God of workmen that need, if not be ashamed, rightly

dividing the word of truth. So again, you can expect to

remain teachable if you quit studying the word because who we

are is is the word of God, and it will always carry over into

the natural. Because if you'll seek God

first, then anything that naturally needs a breakthrough,

God can get it through you because you're spiritually

sensitive to him and his waves. I'm sure if we took the time to

actually look at some people in the earth who has some

discoveries, you might find that they had a personal relationship

with the Lord and God unlock their minds concerning some

things that previously was not there.

Are you hearing what I'm saying? I do know if you will do this

yourself, you will open that door.

Amen. So a way to be taught is by

studying the scriptures personally. #2 Another way to be

taught is by studying the scriptures from instruction.

Look what it says in Hebrews 1317.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over

your souls as those who will give an account.

Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would

be this would be unprofitable for you.

So another way that you can be taught is by watching someone or

someone's going to give you instruction.

You can learn personally by studying all by yourself.

The Holy Ghost is going to reveal things, but then someone

can give you instructions by which the Holy Ghost will reveal

what they are saying is truth. And then you can take it for

yourself. Hey, man.

Meaning you can get a direction that you never would have got by

yourself because God gave you the direction through someone

else. Just like Pastor Joshua in

Moundsville, Georgia, He had a direction.

Moundville. Sorry, Moundville AL.

You're right, Moundville AL, They all run together up there.

It's all red clay. But in Moundville, 23 years old,

had a perspective of worship. Then I'm like, man, never saw it

that way. And it's simple.

It's not like, like super profound, but it definitely can

help the process when you see just that little nugget.

Like, man, come on, are you serious?

Are you serious? OK, but you have to hear the

instruction. Then it comes alive in your own

spirit, and now you can take it as your own again.

You know, Pastor Joshua Pennington got a lot of

Joshua's. He had the conversation with his

wife about doing something with the women's ministry.

I think it was or or school. I can't remember now.

But he told her he wanted her to do something.

She said, look, I don't think I have enough experience to do

that. And out of that, the spirit of

God said it may be beyond your experience, but it's not beyond

your capacity. Now that resonated with me.

So much so that God gave me a message out of that.

Two of them, actually. Since then, he heard has heard

that message. He was there at Camping and he

goes, man, you got way more out of that than the statement I

had, right? But because I was willing to

learn and remain teachable again, he's 10 years younger

than I am. Are you hearing me?

There are things you could just say, well, we're you could make

all kind of excuses why you won't listen instead of just

saying, you know what, at any moment at anyone's mouth, I

could learn something I can learn from an enemy, Yeah, I can

learn from enemy. I can learn, you know, from

friends what not to do. I mean, I learned from Pastor

David EMA some things not to do based upon the way his

organization was like, well, not sure I would do that, but he can

do it. Whatever you're doing, that's

your organization. I have.

I'm just here to submit. But man, when I get over here,

not sure that's going to happen. It.

And you know what I learned from him?

That's what I learned from him. Don't assume your staff's

reading the Bible because he never asked me.

Are you reading the Bible? Never.

He assumed it. And I thought, I don't like this

assumption because I know too many people can just pull stuff

from anywhere and aren't actually reading the Bible.

And it's an it is an epidemic among pastors, an epidemic of

not having personal studies but going online and pulling things

from other people and basically regurgitating knowledge with

charisma. Alright, that doesn't mean

anointing. Running, shouting and screaming

is not an anointing. And there are some cultures

that, if you're not popping a vein, they don't think the Holy

Ghost is there. Yet I could have some people

stand behind this pulpit, not break a sweat, and have more

anointing than someone running around and screaming.

Now they'll have everybody an emotional frenzy.

But again, what do we do? We don't remain teachable when

we only like certain styles, just like we don't remain

teachable. We only like certain music.

I can worship any style now. I may not like every style.

You know, Pastor Marcy sends songs to Pastor Marcus.

I send songs to Pastor Marcus. They are on two different

spectrums. I mean, you really don't want to

know what I like anyway. People be that pastor likes that

kind of music. I like that kind of music.

I like that sound. But at the end of the day, you

know, it is what it is. I mean, I like to get a little

more, you know, soul power up in here, but I just got to find

somebody with a voice. So we still hadn't done it

because I got a bass player and a drummer who's playing it.

We just hadn't been able to get the rest of the team on board.

The problem is, is that people can assume because we have a

whole team, we don't need you. That would be a lie.

We do not have gospel, and Pastor Marcus does his best job

as he can, but at the end of the day, we are not gospel now.

We're not here to be gospel to Showboat either.

I'll just throw that out. But there's some songs, man, I

just wish we could pull off. And they're just not being some

because we do not have the personnel that has that voice.

Or if we do, you're holding out and you need to get with Pastor

Marcus and get with the program so we can get on.

And if you're playing in Oregon, you've been in rebellion long

enough. That's all I'm saying.

If you are an Oregon player and you're thinking, well we don't

have one, you are not operating in faith, you should already

believe God for that thing. Got that one.

You know of two or three churches that have them and

they're not using them and you can get them donated to us and

you can get up here and let's go.

And then I'll get a triple anointing.

But I get a double anointing with a headset.

I get a triple anointing with a with a a anointed organ player.

Not just anyone trying to get your emotions up alright, but

music does have power OK if done properly.

So we can learn by studying scriptures personally #2 We can

learn or remain teachable by studying scriptures from

instruction. And again it says obey your

leaders. I probably am at some point

going to take on all the social media heretics Okay.

There's probably going to come a day that that God's going to

release me to come and minister on all the heretics that are out

on social media. Okay, because there's a lot of

stuff out on social media that is so utterly, absolutely.

It is doctrines of demons so bad on steroids.

And the problem is so many people get their little one

liner. You let them run through their

little 10 two-minute clip because everything sounds right

until somebody proves them wrong.

Okay. And again, you know, everyone

here's, here's what I know when people aren't going to be

teachable is that when you want to take a position and then you

only want to find scripture to support your position, this is

not God's. I said this is not God's.

And you can always find when it said their position, because

what they're saying actually doesn't line up with scripture

all the way across the board. They avoid scriptures.

OK, I'm not gonna do it today, But you know, I'm like because I

know everybody's flipping through.

I know you are. And let me just tell you

something. You keep stopping on it,

listening to it. Then you're going to find

yourself in a place where you're going to go.

And I don't mind. I have no problem with

somebody's thought process. Because here's the thing about

truth. Truth will only get stronger and

lies will fall apart. This is what's so awesome by the

Holy Ghost is that you know, if you really are led by the Holy

Ghost, you can't go off. You actually can't get wrong.

Now, that's if you're led by the Holy Ghost.

Remember, the Holy Ghost and the Word are inseparable.

So Holy Ghost doesn't say something different than the

Word. All right.

OK, so with that being said, we'll have that sermon later,

maybe a series, and we'll just deal with it.

That doesn't mean I'm going to bring them up here and let you

see who's saying stuff. I'm not going to do that.

But I'll just say it's being said and then I'll show you why

that's error, OK? Because it's not like Paul

didn't have to address error, error, error in the church.

Hallelujah. Again, I would love for people

to sit down with me if I was really in error because I would

get correct. I would take the correction.

No problem. Hallelujah.

I have one particular individual that struggle with the subject

of divorce. I'm like, okay.

Well, let's go to Scripture, you know.

So we start going to Scripture, you know, and they go to all the

ones about, you know, don't get a divorce.

All the stuff that supports, don't get in a divorce.

God hates divorce. Got it?

OK, no problem. But let's talk about Deuteronomy

24. Well, now they're struggling.

Amen. Then we get them over to

Jeremiah. God divorces Israel.

Now we really haven't heart, heart palpitations because we're

trying to figure out how to explain that one.

Amen. But I realized they just didn't

want to know. So the OR so they'll never know

this. So they know my love.

So just always next time you meet, just talk about the talk

about my love. So I started talking about love.

They didn't want to talk to me about love.

Well, if you don't know love, then you'll never understand the

subject. Amen.

Because some of our answers are not in the subject we're

studying. It's in a different subject that

we don't have our understanding of.

And you got to remain teachable about those things.

Amen. Because believe you me, I've

gone through the seasons where I'm questioning everything I

even know. Not that I don't know it, but

it's like I'll question it so that I'm stronger.

It's either going to be what I truly believe or it'll be a

fallacy. And if there's any tradition in

what I believe, I want it rooted out.

And all of us have some form of tradition somewhere.

Either we brought it in from another church, we brought it in

from some relative that was saying something, or we brought

it in because we have some selfish ambition still and we're

trying to make it fit how we're living.

But the word will root it out. Amen.

If things become more clear, just like we took the time at

the beginning of the year to talk about love and what is not

and what everybody else is saying, it is and there's no way

it can be Hallelujah. But yet we've all said it and

then you realize, you know what? Can't say that anymore.

That's just not true. Love Actually meets every

condition. Praise the Lord, and that's more

powerful. But people want to hold to the

other one so bad that they won't be taught.

And there's fallacies in it. It actually falls apart the more

you go out. Go after it.

Amen #3A Way of being taught because you want to remain

teachable is by demonstrations of scriptures or we call them

experiences. John chapter 10, starting in

John 10 · chapter mention

verse 25 to 24 and 25, says this.

And the Jews then gathered around him, and we're saying to

him, How long will you keep us in suspense?

If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and you do not believe the works

that I do in my father's name. These testify of me.

Jump down to verse 37. If I do not do the works of my

father, do not believe me. But if I do them, though you do

not believe me, Believe the works, so that you may know and

understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

Hallelujah. So we could study the scriptures

personally. It helps us to remain teachable.

We can learn by instructions because again, God placed in the

body the fivefold ministry for the equipping of the Saints.

So they already give instruction by revelation of the Spirit,

which then means you'll sit and sit in a service, or sit in a

class or sit in a conversation and all of a sudden revelation

to come on. Amen.

Then you're like, wow, Because God's revealing, through the

instruction of that person, that five full minister, that leader,

that overseer, the one who's watching over your soul, that

the Holy Spirit makes you that. And Jesus purchased with his

blood, the church that he's made you an overseer of.

OK. But then there's the side where

you're seeing it because you're watching someone actually get

what they're saying. It's manifesting.

They're believing for healing, and they're healed.

They're believing in some realm of additional provision for

something God's called them to do, and it comes to pass.

Are you hearing me? You you see them walk through

the trial and they get the victory on the other side.

And you're like then when you know that God's not a respecter

of person, then you're like, well, praise God.

You've given me that example. I realized about two years in to

us believing God for the mall that it was became very aware to

me that I am not just believing this for the sake of Anchor Bay

Church anymore. We have to see this done for the

all the other ministers that are going to find out if we did it

because it's going to inspire them.

In fact, I just got a text from a pastor in in Washington, the

state of Washington, and he showed took a picture of his

phone. He said you called me last year

On this date and left me a message something about

acquiring land. Are you hearing me?

And so he's acquired the land and now he's, you know, putting

together his presentation or what he wants to build so that

then, you know, they can go and start raising money.

But he's going back to that moment in time, you know, and I

know that moment is a direct connection because that was

2022. That's a year after we acquired

them all that we were able to say because God did it here, got

to do it there. He's not a respecter.

So he has real time. He's not talking to a pastor

that's been in ministry for 40 years and talking about a 40

year faith project that I mean that happened 40 years ago and

they got a victory. We're talking about right now

that what seemed impossible, we pulled off by the word of God,

by our faith, we got the victory.

And so you understand your faith battles are not just for you

because someone needs to know that you stood on the word.

You studied yourself. You were submitted to the

instruction and the the house that got assigned you to, you to

and you glean from it. And then you move.

Carlos, stand up in the back. Carlos.

Carlos, you have a sailboat, correct?

How big is that sailboat? It's 42 feet.

Correct. 42 feet. This sailboat that he has, a

gentleman was saying he was, you know, like he's going to give it

to him, you know what, going to sell it to him.

And but he wouldn't do anything, just dragging around.

So he came out one day. How long ago was this?

It's been a year. We were out in the foyer and he

says, Pastor Earl, you don't know what to do.

You know he's talking about I really want need this boat.

You know I need this other because he lives on his boat and

so he had a smaller one, but he knew he needed to get this

larger one based upon purpose and things that he knew God

wanted him to do. And I said, look, go give the

man $500.00 cash and let him know you're serious about buying

the boat so he can give you a price.

So he grabbed $500.00 cash and gave it to him and the guy gave

him the title. He bought a 42 foot sailboat for

$500. Are you hearing me?

The point is, is that he was. You know what he didn't do?

He didn't say Passer. Old knows nothing about boats.

I mean the, I mean the man builds boats.

He's built yachts. Okay.

He sell. He has, he has sailed and all

over the world. He has navigated boats all over

the world. Okay and I, my experience and

knowledge compared to him, Forget about it.

I mean, it's not even there. The point is, though he was

willing to remain teachable and what seemed like he was getting

nothing, he agreed in his spirit that the words I told him he

should act on, and when he did, the impossible manifested.

Amen. Hallelujah.

So the point is, is that this these kind of moments that you

want to always be listening. But again, if you're at odds or

or you feel like you've arrived, you know, and that you know you

know enough now and nobody can tell you anything you know or

you know you you kind of got crossways somewhere.

So now you don't want to listen. This is why the Bible commands

us to love. I I don't have time to be

crossways because there's too much of God to know that's going

to help you with your destiny, to hinder being teachable

because you know you're just upset about something.

I mean, get over yourself, OK? Please get over yourself so we

can actually go on and do something awesome because God

wants us all to come to be together wants us all to bring

our gifts and you have I remember one time someone when I

was in youth ministry again I'm youth pastoring.

You know we're growing the youth and they're just a leader and we

were had grown enough that you know it it basically the

students in the back could not see the screen so when we were

putting the words on they couldn't see them at all.

So this leader came to me and say, Pastor Earl, you know, the

teens can't see back here at all.

You know, I was thinking, what if you bounded a couple TV's on

the side so that they could see the words, You know what I

didn't do? I didn't go.

You're not a youth pastor. You don't know Jack.

I was like, what a brilliant idea.

I mean, someone was a problem solver.

And it wasn't against the vision.

It was for the vision. And because you're willing to

not out like you know it all, you end up saying what a great

idea. Not only is a great idea, but

then you let all the other leaders know who came up with

the idea and you let the pastor know who came up with the idea.

And you're not actually taking any credit for the idea because

you realize every part is super important for this thing.

And when you do that in the workplace, because most people

won't say, well, who had the idea, because that means you

might be promoted, you might get the raise.

So they wanna be and you gotta be like nobody can take what

God's got from me anyway. I mean, because your destiny is

your destiny and nobody can take it.

I don't care if you have a labor network, if you're Jacob, made

no mistake about it. They can screw you over 10

times, but in the end, you're gonna get the wage.

You'll take over the company. Are you hearing me?

Doesn't matter how much they mess with you.

Doesn't matter how much they rob and steal from you, because if

you'll just do it God's way. Hey, man, You all right?

My wife's, you know, freaking out about my word up.

Forgive me. You know I didn't mean it in one

sense. I mean, you know, in the sense

that all you took it, you can get messed up with somebody that

will try to mess up your promotion, but don't you worry

about that because God will highly y'all forgive me, OK?

I mean, I'm teachable. Just using your own slang,

Apologize. Amen.

Nobody walked. I understand.

Yeah, but people get offended over that.

And that is true statement, you know, because, again, the pastor

has to forgive everybody. But if he does something

questionable, then at the end of the day, but I can.

I ask for forgiveness. No big deal, you know.

No big deal. Amen.

No pride on me, man. I just fix it.

I just fix it. All right?

So you may get messed up by somebody multiple times.

You just stay, Jacob, and you'll be promoted.

At the end of the day, you'll be promoted because nobody can rob

you. God will always promote you.

But you're not going to get ahead in the workplace if you're

not being teachable in the spiritual place, because that is

A and I'll close with this thought.

It is a sewing and reaping concept.

You know, today in today's environment, people want to do

as little as possible with the most amount of pay.

Now some people say, well, that's smart.

Well, at the end of the day, it's not purpose because again,

if you're trying to barely be somewhere but get the most money

so you can actually be somewhere else to do what you want, well

then you know what? You're a slave because I'm where

I want to be. And the time is not an issue

because I'm in destiny. See, when you're doing your

destiny, I mean, again, the thought process is to be able to

make money, and yet you get to do what you want to do.

That's how the world functions. I want to do what I want to do,

but be able to make money. Well, I do exactly what I'm

called to do. And God provides.

That's amazing. And when, I mean again, how do

you tell someone who wants to mountain climb all the time

that, hey, we've already been doing this for four hours, let's

go back, we've already been hired. 88, can we get a break?

15 minutes. I mean, when you're passionate

about something, breaks, are you already thinking about breaks?

You're not thinking about that kind of stuff.

But what do we do in the workplace?

Because we really, it's not not what we're called to do.

So we want to do as little as possible, get a lot of money so

we can go do our own stuff. And I that's not impressive to

me because really that's robbery.

Because at the end of the day, you're really not giving your

all to the place that's actually hired you.

You're cheating them, you're robbing them.

I mean, you are labing at that point.

You wanna be the Jacob you wanna come in and serve, You wanna be

there. You wanna cast ideas, You want

it to prosper and be awesome. And it doesn't matter if it

looks like they're making all the money.

Because again, the Bible even talks about you can make all

kind of money for unrighteous people and in the end gotta just

transferred over to you. You know, some people aren't

having companies today is because they were squandering

their talents at a particular company.

When we don't get in the word to grow ourselves personally, then

guess what? You're not going to try to grow

yourself naturally in the workplace.

If you're not going to be able to receive instruction from your

pastor and those that oversee you in the church, then you're

not going to receive instruction of the ones that are overseeing

you. If you're rebellious to us,

you're going to be rebellious to them.

And that's even if you're following Mammon.

I'll do anything, the manager says.

I want to get up a leg up. Now that's actually selfish

ambition. In your rebellion, even now,

although you're serving and you'll do whatever they say and

work however many hours and then they all ask someone and reaping

is the fact that you can see someone do something and learn

from that experience instead of shutting it down and just be the

only one who gets it done. But I can't learn from them.

I mean, that was the problem with the one talent guy instead

of going to the five and two guy and say how you doing this?

What do they do? Bury it.

Think about that. He's given a talent and he's

supposed to reproduce. What's he doing while the

master's gone? How's he eating?

Where's the food coming from? The master's table.

Where's the drink coming from? The master's table.

Where's the the lodging coming from?

The master's table. So he's squandering all the

master's resources and burying his very purpose.

So no matter. No wonder the masters upset

because you have squandered, you have taken all my resource and

then you won't even work. You want to do your you want to

take my stuff and do what you want to do.

And this might be the modern day US Christianity.

I want to do my stuff, but squander God's blessings.

Take them instead of saying, no, I'm going to remain teachable.

I'm gonna grow personally. I'm gonna receive instruction

and grow. And then when I see people

actually getting the faith done, I'm gonna learn from their

experiences so that I myself can learn from them and grow.

How did you do that? What were you doing?

And how does that apply to me? And how can I do that So that I

overcome, then we all overcome. And then you apply that over

into your workplace. The next thing you know, you're

getting the promotion. Or God may say, your time's done

here. Start your own stuff, whatever

the case may be. But when you remain teachable,

you're always going to excel because we can always learn

something no matter how old we get.
