  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. All right, so John chapter 4,

    John 4:23–24

  4. verse 23 to 24 says this. But an hour is coming and now is

  5. when the true worshippers say true worshippers say true

  6. worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth.

  7. For such people the Father what seeks to be his to be his what

  8. God is spirit verse 24 And those who worship him must must

  9. worship in spirit. And truth not, can, not, should,

  10. but must. Amen.

  11. Now who's talking in this passage of scripture?

  12. Jesus is. And he's actually talking to a

  13. woman that's obviously not living a very good life right

  14. now. This particular woman has come

  15. to get her some water from a well, and Jesus is hanging out

  16. there while his disciples have gone to get him some food.

  17. And so he's having a conversation with.

  18. And what's brought this conversation to the point that

  19. we're at is that, you know, he begins to engage her and he

  20. technically in the natural should not because he is Jewish

  21. and she's a Samaritan. So by all rights, he is

  22. destroying A racial issue right here.

  23. Not only is he speaking to a woman, but he's speaking to a

  24. Samaritan woman. And so, you know, they have a

  25. little bit of a discourse and he's basically letting her know

  26. what he has because she's like, well, how you going to get some

  27. water? He said whatever, woman, if you

  28. knew who I was and you'd be asking me for the living water

  29. and you would never thirst again, right.

  30. So he ends up going in and telling her her life story a

  31. little bit. Well, you have had five husbands

  32. actually, right? And the one you would now is not

  33. the one I see. You're a prophet, right?

  34. So then she begets spiritual on him and starts talking about

  35. worship, where to worship at and what the people are saying.

  36. You know the religious will say a lot about worship.

  37. There's a lot to say in religion about worship.

  38. But then Jesus makes this statement here in John chapter 4

    John 4 chapter mention

  39. and he says in hours coming in is now when true worshippers,

  40. which implies there are false ones.

  41. All right, so if there's true worshippers, then there must be

  42. false ones. Because again, Jesus saying true

  43. is letting us know there are faults, which then tells us the

  44. Bible must be able to reveal to us what false worship is.

  45. Okay. If he reveals us there are true

  46. ones. True worshippers will worship

  47. the Father in spirit and truth. Not just in spirit, but in what

  48. in truth. Which then tells us a false

  49. worshipper will worship the Father in spirit and in false.

  50. Because there are evil spirits, you can be led by an evil

  51. spirit. You can be in the spirit with

  52. the wrong spirits, with familiar spirits.

  53. So you can worship the Father in the spirit, meaning your spirit

  54. hearing from other spirits and it be false.

  55. Hallelujah, OK, all right. God is spirit and those who

  56. worship him must this is how we do it.

  57. OK, we must worship him in spirit and true notice it

  58. doesn't say worship him in soul. So whether you feel it or not,

  59. whether you're emotionally attached is not necessary.

  60. Because when you worship in spirit, you can actually do it

  61. in an emotion opposite of how you feel once you engage in

  62. worship. And if you'll do that, then the

  63. actual soul realm can catch up to the spirit realm.

  64. I don't worship him because I'm happy.

  65. I don't worship him cause I'm glad.

  66. I worship him in spirit and what's going on in my soul is

  67. irrelevant and it will need to change to get in line with the

  68. spirit. Hallelujah.

  69. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Amen.

  70. So I'm. I'm ministering out of this line

  71. because there is false worship in the churches, OK?

  72. And so I need to dress a little bit because there's a problem in

  73. churches in general, OK? And it's really in religion.

  74. Can I just say it that way? There's a problem in religion

  75. because if you're religious, then words in the Bible have

  76. religious meanings. But when you're in the Kingdom,

  77. then words are defined according to the king.

  78. Why do I say that? We've said this before in the.

  79. Again, John 11 in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was

  80. with God, and the Word was verse 14 of that same chapter one.

  81. And the Word became what's his name, Jesus.

  82. So Jesus is the Word. Well, if Jesus is the Word, he

  83. is the author of all words, which means he has the right to

  84. define them. So it's it's up to us to get in

  85. scripture to see how God's defining words, not how man's

  86. defining words, Because if man will define the word, the man

  87. will define it religiously. And once you take one of God's

  88. words and makes it a religious word, then it has no power.

  89. But when you let the king define what he means by word, then you

  90. get the full context. Like Lord, Lord is not a

  91. religious word. It means supreme in authority.

  92. So when we say Jesus Christ is Lord, that means He's supreme in

  93. authority. What does that mean supreme in

  94. authority? Who's the one in authority?

  95. He is. And he is he the first one, the

  96. supreme one. So then why are you making the

  97. decisions without him? Now religion will let you

  98. continue to do what you want to do and still call him Lord.

  99. Because the only thing that he has supremacy over is keeping

  100. you out of hell. Because he died on the cross,

  101. his blood was shed for the forgiveness of your sins.

  102. You called on the name of the Lord.

  103. His name is Jesus and you were saved and he can do nothing else

  104. for you, but he definitely keeps you out of hell and you get to

  105. do your life like you want to. Cause by all rights religion has

  106. defined grace as the the the unmerited favor of God that

  107. allows you to continue to sin because you couldn't do anything

  108. to get right. So you can't do anything to

  109. stay, right? All right, I'm preaching better

  110. than y'all saying Amen, but that's all right.

  111. Hallelujah. You understand, some of y'all

  112. been here for some decades, OK? And what you're failing to

  113. recognize is that not everyone in the room has been here for

  114. decades, which means some people in the room are like, I have

  115. never heard this before in my life.

  116. And your lack of enthusiasm makes them think you don't know

  117. nothing either. That you're like, I've never

  118. heard this before. Because, you know, when you

  119. first started hearing things about the king and you became

  120. speechless. But when you know something, you

  121. should say Amen to it. When you're like, praise God,

  122. yes, I remember that truth. That's awesome.

  123. You should have some kind of engagement.

  124. Hallelujah. So can we do a little bit

  125. better? Amen.

  126. Praise the Lord. I mean, no coach is gonna let

  127. their team play flat. They finish a play, they walk

  128. all right. Offense is in.

  129. How many games do y'all play? Well, we played a lot of games.

  130. Coach been doing this for a Little League.

  131. Just just just tell us to play man, right?

  132. I mean, if y'all watching Y'all's team do that, y'all be

  133. screaming at the TV, throwing things at it, tearing your

  134. shirts off, Find another team. I got to be around teams, got

  135. passion. I mean, Pastor Mike totally did

  136. repentance because of that. He was so sick and tired of the

  137. mediocrity of Michigan. They says I'm going back to my

  138. roots. Is that not true?

  139. He said. I'm tired of mediocrity.

  140. There's no passion in their game and I was born in Ohio anyway.

  141. I'm going back to Ohio. And there he is.

  142. Total repentance. That's repentance.

  143. From Michigan to Ohio State. He has repented.

  144. Are you? Hearing me now, he'll get to

  145. heaven when he makes the Gators. His team?

  146. I'm just kidding. We're in mediocrity.

  147. I might be coming somewhere else myself.

  148. My point is, is why do we get into mediocrity and services

  149. when we're hearing truths, when we're hearing things?

  150. Hallelujah. Because again, the more we

  151. desire to know, the more we will know.

  152. And The thing is, is that a religion can sneak in anywhere.

  153. I said religion can sneak in anywhere.

  154. Because religion starts to redefine God's word.

  155. And that's what the devil did in the garden.

  156. Well, God said it, but his deception, 'cause?

  157. That's what religion is. Religion is the deception that

  158. you're right with God, although you know something, right?

  159. But you're doing what you're supposed to do religiously.

  160. Hallelujah. But in the Kingdom, you have a

  161. daddy who sits on the throne. He's the creator of heaven and

  162. earth, and he's raised you up and seated you in heavenly

  163. places in Christ Jesus, where you're on the throne with him.

  164. You're a child of the king, and dad says that he looks for those

  165. who will worship him and they'll be true worshippers.

  166. OK, so in the majority of churches based upon religion,

  167. and I say this, I'm not just eliminated to the United States.

  168. When we hear worship, we typically think of singing

  169. because we have a phrase, we say praise.

  170. And why do we say this? See, we really don't even

  171. question ourselves half the time.

  172. And it's habit we get into habit.

  173. Well, we're having. Well, we're doing a praise and

  174. worship service. Well, praise can include

  175. worship, but worship doesn't always include praise.

  176. Hallelujah. It doesn't always include it.

  177. So when Jesus is saying here, he's looking for true

  178. worshippers, what he's not saying and what a lot of people

  179. will say, and you've probably heard this in your religious

  180. circles, we were created to worship.

  181. Now when they say that, you know, they saying we gonna sing.

  182. And what's bad is if you were created to worship, how come you

  183. sing so bad? Why would God create someone

  184. who's supposed to sing all the time?

  185. They Can't Sing a lick. I mean, that's cruel and unusual

  186. for dad to say. I want you to sing to me.

  187. You are created to worship me, to worship and meaning singing.

  188. And you Can't Sing and you're like Dad loves him.

  189. Better listen to that voice and here's mine.

  190. But it's amazing we say this. We're creating worship.

  191. We just can't wait to get there. Now, are we going to sing?

  192. Yes. But were we created to sing?

  193. No, no. Genesis 126 tells us what we

  194. were created to do. Let us make man in our image

  195. according to our likeness and let them have a good voice who

  196. can sing to me all the time, praises to my name only and

  197. sing, sing, sing. They going to worship me,

  198. worship me, worship me. So it can't be that worship is

  199. singing and it's not slow songs praise and so we're praising him

  200. when it's fast. We are worshipping him when it's

  201. slow. Or we went to the worship set,

  202. went to the worship set. Right, went to the worship, said

  203. Oh, I just really love to worship God.

  204. And here's the thing, what brought this conversation to me

  205. as a 23 year old minister in Moundville, AL And he was about

  206. to introduce me and he says my generation, all they want to do

  207. is getting praise services. They love to sing.

  208. He said, but singing along won't change them permanently.

  209. And then he uses a scripture for that.

  210. And I'm like, that's good, that's good.

  211. Because what happens is when we are religious then we will begin

  212. to worship aspects of God are things that can you can do

  213. towards God. Ask the only thing.

  214. The reason why we wrote the Force was because we tend to

  215. find places that we want to stop and hug, and God never intended

  216. us to have an expression to stop us, and all we want to do is

  217. that. Period.

  218. We are going. To let the word define what

  219. worship is so you can understand what a true worshipper is.

  220. Then are you hearing me? Because the king is looking for

  221. true. In fact, he seeks them.

  222. I said he seeks them. I said he seeks them.

  223. And we're going to see how he sought after one and what it

  224. really means to worship which. Can include singing All right

  225. Y'all with me now, okay. So man was created in God's

  226. image, in the image of God. According to Genesis 126, to

  227. have dominion or rule, man was to have dominion, to have

  228. rulership ruling can require him to sing to the supreme ruler.

  229. No problem there But it does not mean that's all they do.

  230. In fact, if we see let us make man in our image, turn it, put

  231. it up there real quick guys. Genesis 126 and let's find the

  232. singing in it. OK?

  233. Genesis 126. Then God said, let us make man

  234. in our image according to our license, and let them rule over

  235. the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, over the

  236. cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that

  237. creeps on the earth. God next verse God created man

  238. right in his image, both male and female.

  239. He created them so both male and female has dominion.

  240. He tells them to be fruitful. To multiply, to subdue.

  241. To keep five things he mentions to them on the 28th verse for

  242. them to do. Never does he say man was

  243. created to worship. Where worship means singing, it

  244. doesn't say. Let us make men in our image

  245. corner our lives and let them sing to the fish, sing to the

  246. birds, sing to the cattle. Now you sing all you want to to

  247. your pets. I don't care.

  248. But you weren't created right. Nowhere in there does it say

  249. that our sole reason for existing if we're defining

  250. worship as. Singing is the sing doesn't say

  251. that at all. So you understand why a lot of

  252. people sometimes don't want to make a relationship with Jesus

  253. because number one, they Can't Sing #2.

  254. It just doesn't make sense to them that they would sing for

  255. eternity. You understand?

  256. God has taken care of the singing for eternity.

  257. He has created beings. They are not humans that are

  258. around his throne and they have one song they sing what not like

  259. this that we do up here. One song they singing, they

  260. singing one song and they have not worn out that song nor has

  261. that song gotten worn out in the ears of the Lord.

  262. They are singing holy, holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty

  263. come on. And they keep singing it and

  264. they keep singing it and they keep singing it cause they were

  265. created to sing that song around the throne.

  266. But man was not created to go around the throne singing.

  267. So religions got people believing that they accept Jesus

  268. into their heart so they die. They can go to heaven where he

  269. currently resides to sing for eternity.

  270. To him it is one massive choir, right?

  271. But the Bible doesn't say that religion does Hallelujah.

  272. Which means then if you are saying and all you're trying to

  273. do is be in praise services, again, according to their

  274. definition, praise and worship. I just love praise and worship

  275. services. Oh, I just love to be in praise

  276. and worship. I just love to get in the

  277. presence of God and praise and worship.

  278. I just love to be. That's all I want to do is be in

  279. the praise and worship service. Well, they can't be a true.

  280. They'll start running themselves to becoming a false worshipper.

  281. Are you hearing me? So let's see what happens when

  282. music plays first time in chapter 16, verse 14 to 23.

  283. Yeah, I know. Now y'all going to have to let

  284. me explain a couple things. OK, y'all going to be all right

  285. with me. Because the minute we read this

  286. first couple verses, they're very problematic.

  287. But again, This is why you have to read the Bible in context.

  288. This is again, This is why we say at Anchor Faith Church you

  289. need to read it from. Cover to cover Genesis 11 to

  290. Revelations 2221 because and again you have to interpret it

  291. based upon the covenants we're in, OK, the dispensations we're

  292. in because we're in a new and better covenant now in a

  293. different dispensation that things that were happening in

  294. this particular time don't have to happen like that.

  295. And you can't be act like it's still happening that way when

  296. you're born of God. OK now it says now the spirit of

  297. the Lord departed from Saul. He was king of Israel and an

  298. evil spirit from the Lord terrorized him.

  299. Saul servants then said to him, Behold, now an evil spirit from

  300. God is terrorizing you now. Is this is problematic because

  301. at this point you would have to conclude reading that, that God

  302. has evil spirits on his payroll, And that's troubling, right?

  303. This is troubling. So again, this is one of those

  304. verses that typically everybody wants to stay away from because

  305. we're like can't explain that one.

  306. Well, we can when we go to job. But when we go to Job because

  307. you understand there's a spiritual world out there.

  308. Besides God's heavenly spirits are righteous ones, there is

  309. another realm of spirit or fallen spirits.

  310. We can find this in Isaiah chapter 14 in Ezekiel.

    Isaiah 14 chapter mention

  311. We are aware and we know of Satan himself.

  312. But you understand Satan's not alone.

  313. The Bible tells us that a third of the heavenly hosts were cast

  314. down. Right now.

  315. I'm not going to get into some other debates concerning some

  316. other context where people talk about it Preadamic race and that

  317. because of that, there's some things there of some disembodied

  318. spirits out of humans. That is subjective and there's

  319. not enough evidence for you to build doctrines on.

  320. But when you don't know it entirely, you should keep

  321. yourself open to be able to be taught.

  322. That's all I'm saying. We do know there is a devil.

  323. We do know there are evil spirits.

  324. The Bible tells we know there are unclean spirits.

  325. The Bible tells us this. We understand that these demonic

  326. spirits, they can possess people.

  327. We know this. This is clear doctrine.

  328. In scripture across the board and we know that the devil,

  329. Satan is what Jesus called him is the Prince of the power of

  330. the air. Now why is he?

  331. That is because he held dominion.

  332. Where did he get the dominion from Luke chapter 4 in the

    Luke 4 chapter mention

  333. Temptation of Christ. Remember he takes Jesus up to

  334. high Pentacle, shows him all the kingdoms in a moment of time,

  335. not religions. But all kingdoms.

  336. And he says all these domains, that means the territory that I

  337. have authority over, I'll give to you, he said.

  338. All these domains I'll give to you.

  339. Cause they've been what? Hand it over to me.

  340. Where did the devil gain the possession of rulership at Adam?

  341. Because God told Adam, don't eat the fruit of the tree of the

  342. knowledge of good and evil, for the day you eat you will surely.

  343. Died when Adam ate the fruit based upon the words of Satan

  344. through the serpent who deceived his wife.

  345. He heard that conversation, watched her eat, then took it

  346. himself bit into the fruit. The Bible says he immediately

  347. died and a transfer of power. Now Paul says in 2nd 2nd

  348. Corinthians 4 four that he is the God of this world.

  349. He doesn't own planet Earth, but he has dominion over systems

  350. that function on the planet, and up until the time of Jesus he

  351. was controlling it all. Now he still has control based

  352. upon the fall and sin nature of man.

  353. There are kids that are still apart associated with him.

  354. Because remember Jesus said you are of your father the devil.

  355. So again, everyone on planet earth is not God's loving

  356. children. In fact, just to let you know,

  357. all of us are the minority because more are with the devil

  358. than with God. There are more unbelievers than

  359. there are believers. There are more children of the

  360. devil or children of darkness, children of wrath.

  361. Then there are children of light, children of God, children

  362. of righteousness. Because they've not come through

  363. the blood. Are you hearing me?

  364. So this is King Saul, this is the old covenant, this is before

  365. the death bear on resurrection of Jesus.

  366. And Joe gives us an insight of how the devil was trying to

  367. determine what did he get from Adam.

  368. So when he goes up before the Lord, cause he's the accuser of

  369. the brethren because again, he can devour you if you are in his

  370. territory. And his territory is where he

  371. steals, kills and destroy is death.

  372. It is sin. His territory is anything that's

  373. disobedient. Adam got underneath the devil's

  374. authority the minute he disobeyed God.

  375. He became a slave to the devil. The day he just the the second

  376. he disobeyed God, right? Which made him supreme in

  377. authority on the earth. Now God has given man dominion

  378. and he can't take it from the devil because, again, God can do

  379. whatever he wants to do. That's what religion says.

  380. Well, if that's the case, why didn't God come down the

  381. gardens? Slap the serpent?

  382. Take this invisible dominion that we can't see anyway?

  383. And give it and say I forgive you Adam.

  384. And give it back to Adam because the King's bound by his word.

  385. So when God the Father says, Let man have dominion on the earth

  386. to rule now it requires a man to come back and get the dominion.

  387. This is why God has to come as a man.

  388. He has to put himself in a flesh suit.

  389. Because it's legal entry. And God is a legal God.

  390. He does not go against his own word.

  391. And when Adam sinned, death came.

  392. And death has a price. Sin has a price.

  393. It's called death. It has to be paid.

  394. The wages of sin is well did Jesus pay that price?

  395. Yes he did. He died and his blood was more

  396. precious than silver and gold, which paid a debt.

  397. That's why we're called redeemed.

  398. So the Death Bear on resurrection of Jesus is a

  399. financial transaction between two kingdoms where the Lord now

  400. has the legal right. To deliver anyone who will call

  401. him Lord because he's paid the price for them, but now He will

  402. not deliver them unless they acknowledge him although he's

  403. already paid the price which means they have to denounce the

  404. Devil is Lord supreme authority telling me what to do, and now

  405. Jesus is supreme authority who I yield to and tells me what to do

  406. because His words are love in life anyway, you do not keep

  407. following this one. Expecting to go to heaven with

  408. that one. Are you hearing me?

  409. So the devil goes up and the Lord says, have you considered

  410. my servant job you. He said.

  411. What? He asked first.

  412. First thing he says to me, he says, he said Where you been?

  413. He said, well, you know, just roaming the earth.

  414. Why is he roaming the earth? That's where his kingship is.

  415. You're not in your kingship if you're not where Within the

  416. territory of your domain. President Biden is the president

  417. of the United States. He is not the president of

  418. China. Oh, y'all want to hear this?

  419. He can go to China all day long, but he has no authority in

  420. China. The only authority he has in

  421. China is what's in the home country.

  422. He only has protection from a land that he's not in.

  423. But at the end of the day, could China take him mean?

  424. I mean, capture him. He could.

  425. It could happen. I mean, plenty of presidents

  426. have been taken over before. He could go in for a summit and

  427. they capture him, throw him in prison, hold him ransom.

  428. Now, what takes place then? Anybody.

  429. Well, you assume war number one. What happens is the vice

  430. president assumes the role. That's what happens.

  431. Kamala Harris becomes president while he's in jail to negotiate

  432. with the country, to determine how they going to try to get him

  433. out, whether that's by brute force or through some form of

  434. negotiation or whatever. But she'll become.

  435. That's how that works. No problem.

  436. That's just how that works. My point is, is that the devil

  437. is not going to heaven to take dominion.

  438. The devil went up to heaven in the realm of the Spirit, you

  439. understand in the heavenlies and the Lord's like what do you been

  440. doing? Well, I'm roaming my domain

  441. because they all my people down there, he said.

  442. Why have you considered my servant Joe?

  443. Because ain't nobody like him. He's righteous now.

  444. He's righteous based upon the knowledge that's available of

  445. God on the earth that day at that time, and based upon what

  446. is known about God at that time. He is living righteous.

  447. And so he says, well, it's only cause you got him protected.

  448. Well, guess what God does to the righteous?

  449. He protects them. But then he says this, he says.

  450. Now listen, you take his stuff, he would curse you.

  451. In essence, He's only righteous because of the benefits that

  452. come with righteousness. If trouble actually came to him,

  453. ain't know what the Lord says. He says, well, he's in your

  454. power, which means he's already in your authority.

  455. It wasn't God authorizing Satan. It was him saying, well, his

  456. stuff is already in your authority because you have

  457. dominion over cattle. You all don't want to hear this

  458. you. Have dominion over the cattle.

  459. You have the dominion over his stuff.

  460. Now obviously he can't appeal to me, but in the end, you do have

  461. dominion over this. You're the God of this world and

  462. the kids that came from his loins.

  463. How was man made out of the dust of the earth?

  464. Now here's the problem. Daddy is doing sacrifices for

  465. kids because he's concerned that every night they having a party.

  466. They may be doing things and saying stuff that is not

  467. righteous to the king, and keeping themselves in the edge

  468. of protection of which apparently they were not.

  469. Because the Satan was able to do something to their skin suits

  470. which was of the earth. And they all died.

  471. They died, the cattle died, the plants died.

  472. It was his dominion. Did he curse him?

  473. No. So he shows back up, which,

  474. well, I'm just roaming my domain, He said.

  475. Well, you you're still thinking about Job.

  476. There ain't nobody, right? Just like the guy.

  477. And he did not do what you said he would do.

  478. Because again, when the Bible says you move me to go against

  479. him, basically all he is saying is you moved.

  480. To take his stuff that was technically near your dominion,

  481. but by right of righteousness I could defend him, he says.

  482. Well, you touch the man's skin, he's going to curse you.

  483. And guess what God does? He says, well, he's in your

  484. power. Meaning your is is true.

  485. I form man out of the dust of the and you have dominion over

  486. all the so you can put sickness on him, but you can't put a

  487. sickness that will cause his spirit to leave his body because

  488. he's done nothing deserving of death, so he limits how much

  489. sickness can be on him. Cause it's it's in your power

  490. now. You can't go.

  491. Well, I guess the Lord's letting the devil mess with my body

  492. today, because it's no, he's not in your power.

  493. He's been stripped and whipped of his power in this covenant.

  494. He has been whipped of his by the stripes of Jesus Christ.

  495. You've been healed. You don't have to wait one

  496. moment. You don't have to take one

  497. symptom because you're a child of the king.

  498. And the healthcare system of the king, is it by his stripes he

  499. were healed. So you don't put up with that.

  500. So you can't be pulling job over here.

  501. Job is even before the law, OK, just so we're clear, so, he

  502. says. It's in your power now what

  503. happens? He still doesn't curse him and

  504. in the end most scholars believe that was about a nine month

  505. period. The the Max is 18 months.

  506. Most say it's probably about nine months that the Lord says

  507. he did not do what you said. He maintained his righteousness

  508. and I have the legal right I do because of what he knows about

  509. me. He's following by faith.

  510. I always deliver the righteous out of all their trouble, so

  511. don't touch him no more. And when he couldn't touch him,

  512. what happened? He got double for his.

  513. Double the flock, double the farms, double the kids.

  514. Now he didn't have 14 kids on the planet.

  515. He had seven more because the other seven were with the Lord.

  516. Are you hearing me? Okay, y'all doing.

  517. All right. So then when we say an evil

  518. spirit from the Lord, then you have to understand, according to

  519. the scripture says, that the devil is the accuser of the

  520. brethren. In essence, Satan has come up at

  521. the time of King Saw and he says, you know, I got a legal

  522. right to this man. You know he didn't do what you.

  523. That's right, that's. Right.

  524. You know he was disobedient and you've put the anointing that

  525. was on him on somebody else already.

  526. And I I'm going to torment him. And the Lord, he's in your

  527. power, Okay. Just so we understand that this

  528. is functioning now. It's not God doing it, It's the

  529. devil going up. To that realm and saying I have

  530. a legal right under this dispensation that he was in.

  531. Now he can still do that with people that are that are #1

  532. lost. Number two, he can do it to the

  533. believer who is Baxlidden. Make no mistake about it.

  534. You can't go out under grace and do a bunch of sin and the devil

  535. can't touch you. No, he's knocking out your door

  536. and he's letting the devil know I'll be talking to your son.

  537. I'll be visiting your daughter's house this weekend.

  538. And you tie his hands because you are living up underneath

  539. that domain again. And you're crying for grace to

  540. protect you. When grace that can't even be

  541. activated unless you're in faith.

  542. It's by grace through through what you know, how many people

  543. aren't in faith. So then you're not in grace.

  544. All right. Amen.

  545. But religion lets you do the least instead of the Kingdom.

  546. God clearly defines. This is what I can do and only I

  547. can do. And this is what you do.

  548. And when you do yours and I do mine, nobody can stop us.

  549. That's how the Kingdom functions.

  550. Are you hearing me? Because Adams without sin and

  551. the Creator could not stop it. Oh y'all, He could not stop it.

  552. All he could do was empower him to not do it.

  553. And he did with the word son. Don't eat from the tree of the

  554. knowledge of good and evil for the day you eat it, you will.

  555. Surely he empowered him, but he couldn't stop him and some of

  556. your parents if you don't watch out with you.

  557. Why you need to come to our parenting conference is that you

  558. are trying to stop things in your kids.

  559. You can't stop it. All you can do is empower them

  560. to make the right choices, and then hold them accountable to

  561. make those choices all right. So do we understand where the

  562. evil spirits come from now? They petitioned, they went to

  563. the courtroom, they went up to the Kingdom and says, hey, I got

  564. a write to this guy because he's in disobedience and you pulled

  565. the annoying. Anyway, there's no protection on

  566. that king. All right, he goes on and says

  567. this verse 16, let the Lord now command your servant.

  568. This is his servants now King Saul's servant saying to him,

  569. let our Lord now command your servants who are before you.

  570. Let them seek a man who was skillfully A skillful player on

  571. the harp, and he shall come about when the evil spirit from

  572. God again that legally went to God, says, I got a right to go

  573. to terrorize this guy on is on you.

  574. Then he shall play the heart with his hand and you will be

  575. well. So Saul said to the servant,

  576. provide me a man who can play well and bring him to me.

  577. So there must have been something that it was known in

  578. the land that when someone played evil spirits would get

  579. off people. Are you hearing me?

  580. Then one man, then one of them young men said, Behold, I know

  581. the son of Jesse. Who is a skillful musician,

  582. mighty man of valor, a warrior, one prudent speech, a handsome

  583. man, and the Lord is with him. So Saul sent message, Jesse and

  584. said, send me your son David, who was with the flock.

  585. Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread and a jug of wine, cause

  586. you do not come to a king empty handed, and a young goat, and

  587. sent them to Saul by David his son.

  588. Then David came to, saw and attended him, and David and Saul

  589. loved him greatly. And he became his armor bearer.

  590. Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David now stand before me, for

  591. he has found favor of my sight. Verse 23 And and it came about

  592. whenever, say whenever, whenever.

  593. So that's not one time, it's whenever.

  594. Whenever the evil spirit from God came to Saul, David would

  595. play the harp and play it with what his hand, and Saul would be

  596. what? Refreshed and be well and the

  597. evil spirit would depart from him.

  598. And when we religiously define worship as singing, what happens

  599. is is the devil will accommodate environments.

  600. So you come to church, you're oppressed from the whole week,

  601. heavy burdened, and you just want to worship him.

  602. I mean, you want to dance before him.

  603. I mean, you want to give him your all.

  604. You're going to dance like David Dance.

  605. You're going to sing like David saying.

  606. You're going to just pour it all out every time and the you sense

  607. the president and all that heavyweight and it lifts and

  608. you're like, I wish they would let us do praise longer.

  609. I wish they would let it go longer.

  610. I just wish we could have more, You know, I just worship all the

  611. time in my house. I've got music.

  612. Going 24/7 all the time. I'm just singing praises all the

  613. time. Why?

  614. Because it lifts. And yet the Bible does say it'll

  615. lift. But you know what?

  616. That's not permanent, because why are those same people having

  617. to come in to get stuff off? Because whenever I said

  618. whenever, which means apparently the evil spirit had access.

  619. So what was going on in Saul's life obviously, or what's going

  620. on on these Christians lives, that there's always a heaviness

  621. that shows up that they need to get somewhere and sing to get it

  622. off. They got to get in the praise

  623. service. They got to go to the Hillsong

  624. concert or to the Gateway concert or to the Elevation

  625. concert, or they got to go down to the amphitheater or some

  626. other kind of Christian concert. They got to go to all these

  627. performances and get up and into all this music because why would

  628. it pulled up all my impression and it will for season, but it's

  629. not permanent and this is what that 23 old minister of

  630. Moundsville said. He said that my generation, the

  631. guys my age, all they want to do is get in the singing, in the

  632. worship conferences and all that.

  633. And he says it's no permanent change because David's music did

  634. not permanently change Saul. I don't care how much Pastor

  635. Marcus is worshipping up here, jumping, dancing, pouring his

  636. heart out towards the Lord, that is not permanent change going to

  637. happen for you. Will this environment lift the

  638. room? Yes.

  639. Will it be able to pull things off you?

  640. Yes. And why is it designed so that

  641. you can become a true worshipper?

  642. Because when it's lifted, you're supposed to then move into what

  643. causes you to be a tree worshipper.

  644. And it's has nothing to do with singing, although it may require

  645. it. At Tom's.

  646. You know how many people are obsessed?

  647. They are worshipping, singing to the Lord.

  648. They worship the music. They worship it so much they

  649. don't even listen to the context.

  650. You know what I mean? We you know what I mean?

  651. Songs we change. I can't even sing have to stuff

  652. this out there. It's full of doubt, unbelief,

  653. old covenant doctrine that it has no place in the new

  654. Covenant. But you know what it is, it's

  655. emotions. So what it is, is create an

  656. environment where they're worshipping him and again cause

  657. they define worship as singing in soul and scripture.

  658. That's how I'm gonna say it. Cause just cause you're using

  659. scripture don't mean you're speaking truth.

  660. Oh, you don't hear this. You can use scripture to

  661. manipulate. You can use scripture to bring a

  662. false doctrine. I mean even the devil quoted

  663. scripture with Jesus. So just cause they're using

  664. scripture in their song doesn't mean it's scripts role or it's

  665. truth. The Lord giveth and the Lord

  666. taketh away If you read Job. God took nothing from Job.

  667. The devil did. So why are we singing Job's

  668. misunderstanding? Because he has no context

  669. concerning the devil. You understand Job doesn't have

  670. our Bible. God himself didn't even tell

  671. Adam about the devil. He comes down the cooler day.

  672. That's how he communicates with him in the garden.

  673. He didn't say, Son, I just want you to know where I'm living.

  674. We had a little problem. I mean, it didn't take long

  675. because your daddy's powerful, you know?

  676. So I had this creative being that I had.

  677. He went rogue, got about 1/3 of some angels to go with him, you

  678. know. So they came against the Kingdom

  679. up there and came against Michael.

  680. Man. They were fighting some stuff,

  681. but I took care of that with the word right.

  682. Jesus said I saw Satan fall like Latin from heaven, so I've sent

  683. him down here. You need to be looking out for

  684. him. His name is never said that.

  685. He gave him one word that it doesn't matter if the devil

  686. showed up, walked around. Don't eat the fruit, son.

  687. You need everything else. Don't eat the fruit.

  688. So we're assuming Job has this context of the devil and Satan

  689. and what he's doing mean. Scholars believe that is

  690. Genesis. I think up to chapter 22, the

  691. whole book of Job is there is considered the oldest book of

  692. the Bible because it's the complete book before Genesis.

  693. He actually finishes being pinned of its history.

  694. So Joe doesn't have the the the five, the Torah.

  695. He didn't have this. He has the conversations and

  696. testimonies of things that God has done.

  697. There's some knowledge that has been passed on through Adam

  698. somehow in the earth and his son somehow.

  699. Something's through to some degree that Job is able to have

  700. some context of God. Although we do know that Romans

  701. themselves says just through creation, God's invisible people

  702. are without excuse. No, there's a God.

  703. So there's something that he knew that kept him in this

  704. position of righteousness with the Lord, but he has no contest

  705. and everyone knows that God's all powerful.

  706. So at the end of the day, he's assuming then well, God, who am

  707. I to complain if God takes away what I have because I'm just

  708. going to worship him anyway? You know we should just worship

  709. him anyway, But God's giving us a whole scripture lets us know

  710. that's not my character. If something's being stripped

  711. from you and I'm a cause, it's cause you're in gross

  712. disobedience and I've done a lot to try to talk you out of the

  713. stuff you're in. I'm going to say that again, if

  714. the. Lord is personally involved.

  715. With the dismantling of stuff that you have, it's because

  716. you're in gross disobedience and he has been extremely

  717. long-suffering to talk you out of what you're in.

  718. So people want to just come to the singing stuff.

  719. I mean, most churches, the singing is longer than the

  720. preaching. Well, let's just feel better

  721. when they're really worshipping because of their definition of

  722. worship in soul and scriptures. That's how it makes them feel.

  723. And the more the song makes them feel good.

  724. Look, you know as well as I do, I could throw out some secular

  725. stuff. Right now, I'm talking stuff

  726. that's straight from the pit of hell.

  727. I'm talking stuff that. I mean, if I would have been in

  728. high school with some of the songs that come out today, man,

  729. it had been rough. Deal.

  730. It'd been rough. I mean, lyrically, there was

  731. some stuff in when I was in high school anyway.

  732. I mean, but it's become mainstream pop stuff.

  733. I mean, it's very descriptive. I remember when I was youth

  734. pastor. Now you understand this was 20

  735. something years ago. And this guy by the name of

  736. Nellie. Anybody know who Nellie is?

  737. OK, it got hot in here. I mean, you know that song.

  738. OK, some of y'all. Now you understand what happens

  739. when it gets hot. There is no way I wouldn't be

  740. going out and playing that with a girl in the car with the

  741. heater on. It's getting hot here.

  742. And I bet you there's a lot of girls that did that song.

  743. But I'm saying right now, you don't have to hear the words,

  744. but this, the beat starts going, you can't help but I see y'all

  745. y'all at the stadium. You'll be at the mall somewhere,

  746. you know, out and about. And if something's playing you

  747. can't be be like. Catching yourself working, that

  748. thing. UNICEF So Christian music, I'm

  749. talking about your shoulders. Working your shoulders.

  750. We are no longer at Nelly's song, so get your mind right.

  751. Y'all should be able to recover faster now.

  752. We're in church, people. But I'm just saying, I mean you,

  753. you can't help but be like you. I mean, we participate.

  754. We have no problem with moving with rhythm.

  755. I mean, OK, that is debatable, that is.

  756. Some do, but they still try, is what I'm saying.

  757. You know, you can't watch some of the people clap.

  758. You know you can't. You're like, I can't even sing

  759. this song now, but it's soul. And emotionally, I mean, you're

  760. screaming, you got veins popping, you're sweating, you're

  761. putting your whole soul in it. But your spirit may not even be

  762. close. In fact, most it's not.

  763. In fact, with some of the lyrics, it can't be.

  764. It can't even be. Again, I had teenagers before

  765. the Depot when I was in Florida that came to me and wanted me to

  766. sing a song with the worship team called Heaven Let Your

  767. Light Shine down by Collective Soul.

  768. Collective Soul, Is that what? Yeah, Collective Soul.

  769. It's secular. But why they want me to sing it?

  770. Because they have the word heaven in it.

  771. Yeah. Pastor Vanessa's youth group.

  772. I think she was the one who suggested it.

  773. Are you going to say it's Jimmy James?

  774. I see how it is. You're going to throw him.

  775. I saw Vanessa be over there. Yeah, I'm like, no, we are.

  776. No, no. Just cause it says heaven don't

  777. mean it's heaven. I mean it could be the first or

  778. second heaven where there's principalities out.

  779. But we ain't talking about the 3rd heaven people.

  780. Then I found out later that the guy wrote the song while in a

  781. strip bar and while I was watching the girl dance.

  782. This came to his mind. OK, just so y'all know, my point

  783. is, is that the enemy's doing a good job of keeping you in your

  784. soul realm and not in your spirit because he's redefined

  785. worship as singing and he wants you to be emotionally all in.

  786. Because he even knows that music has the potential and you can't

  787. get in atmospheres where it can pull things off.

  788. But here's the problem. If you do not do what's

  789. necessary, then even that environment.

  790. Will fail. And again we minister that you

  791. can get into worship and and things that are on you can begin

  792. to lift and they will. And I believe that you can come

  793. in Anchor Faith Church and we can do stuff here and things

  794. begin to rise. And it will rise.

  795. But the reason it's coming up off you is because of what you

  796. need to do to become a true worshipper.

  797. Because if you don't then you get First Samuel chapter 18.

    1 Samuel 18 chapter mention

  798. First time in chapter 18, verse 10 says this.

  799. Now it came about on the next day that an evil spirit from

  800. God, and we've already explained this, was mightily upon saw and

  801. he raved in the midst of the house while David was what

  802. playing the harp. And remember, whenever it came

  803. on, he played the harp and what took place.

  804. It would go away. He would be refreshed.

  805. He was playing the harp with his hands as.

  806. Usual. And a spear was in Saul's hand.

  807. Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, I will pin David to the

  808. wall, But David escaped from his presence.

  809. Twice. So this time, when singing went

  810. instead of them Saul come being refreshed, Saul got more angry.

  811. This is important because again, if you don't do what you need to

  812. do to become a true worshipper, then all the worship of Anchor

  813. Faith Church is going to do is make you mad because that's why

  814. you'll stand in the back like this.

  815. And Pastor Mars said, well lift your hands and you're hurling

  816. Spears in your mind because you're saying this is stupid.

  817. I wish they'd go on. Man, so dumb.

  818. I don't understand why there's people up there acting like

  819. that. It's just so idiotic, which they

  820. just shut up, sit down and let them preach.

  821. Well, the preacher is doing nothing for you, although it

  822. would do something for you if you actually would listen.

  823. Because there is a time to raise your hand.

  824. There's a time to dance. There's a time to shout.

  825. There's a time. I get it.

  826. There's there's a time when it's time to praise.

  827. Let's praise him, let's praise him, Let's lift our hands, let's

  828. clap. Let's do it all.

  829. I mean, the scripture says we should praise the Lord.

  830. But if you're having a hard time praising us because you've got

  831. more souls at. Because when things were lifted,

  832. you didn't do what you supposed to do to be a tree worshipper,

  833. and now you're mad in it. And it's ain't the only

  834. occasion. First Same year, chapter 19.

  835. Very next chapter, Chapter 9, a verse 9 and 10.

  836. Now there was an evil spear from the Lord on Saul as he was

  837. sitting in his house and his spear was in his hand.

  838. And Dave was playing the harp with his hand.

  839. And Saul tried to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he

  840. slipped out of the Saul's presence so that he stuck the

  841. spear into the wall. And David fled and escaped that

  842. night, that night because in this account, he sent the guys

  843. over to his house because at this point now he's married to

  844. his daughter, the first one. He wasn't married to his

  845. daughter. So he sends him off to the

  846. Philistines to get killed. And the reason he said, I'll let

  847. you know, you need to marry my daughter.

  848. And he said, look, I'm just a guy from the, you know, out in

  849. the field. I I have nothing to be able to

  850. do a dowry for your daughter. I can't even, you know, he's

  851. already rejected being his son once.

  852. Now he's like, what do you, what do I do?

  853. He said. Look, you just kill me.

  854. It's 100 Philistines and you know, basically circus size them

  855. and bring that, that, that, that piece of skin back.

  856. And David did it. He was hoping that David was

  857. going to die, but he did. And when David came to town

  858. after that one, they said Saul kills his thousands and David is

  859. 10s of thousands and the worship service didn't lift him anymore.

  860. In fact, he was never in another musical session with David ever

  861. again because music could soothe him no more.

  862. And there's a lot of people in churches that music does not

  863. soothe them anymore. And now we're at a problem

  864. because you've been told religiously you were created to

  865. worship and you can't. In fact, that makes you mad.

  866. I'm preaching better than you're saying.

  867. Amen. But I appreciate the 1:00

  868. because we are in a culture right now that our praise and

  869. worship has gone so secular. I can name bands right now and

  870. y'all listening to them. You're watching them on YouTube.

  871. You're singing to the top of your lungs, and most of you're

  872. not even examining whether or not what they're saying is

  873. scriptural at all. Now, I'm not telling you to

  874. abandon singing. Please do not, please sing.

  875. I'm not telling you to never listen to anyone.

  876. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying be more

  877. understanding. As you grow.

  878. There's probably some things that you were singing you're

  879. probably not going to sing. And if the Lord's not dealt with

  880. you about a. Particular song Sing Away.

  881. But the minute you begin to realize, man, I don't know if

  882. that's right, then you need to make an adjustment because God

  883. wants you to be accurate. Are you hearing me Now?

  884. How can we determine what a true worshipper is?

  885. Well, we picked up this whole context about David showing up

  886. in first time. You're 16 in the 14th verse.

  887. If we go back to that chapter, verse seven, it says.

  888. But the Lord said to Samuel, do not look at his appearance or at

  889. the height of his statue, because I have rejected him.

  890. For God sees not as man sees, but man looks at the outward

  891. appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

  892. What kind of heart is God going? After he tells us 3 chapters

  893. earlier in First Samuel 13 go to First Samuel 13 versus 13 to 14

  894. Samuel said to Saul, You have acted foolishly.

  895. You have not. What?

  896. Oh, come on. You have not kept the

  897. commandment of the Lord your God, which you which he

  898. commanded you. For now the Lord would have

  899. established your Kingdom over Israel forever.

  900. But now your Kingdom shall not endure, for the Lord has sought.

  901. He's looking now. Sought out for himself a man

  902. after his own heart, and the man and the Lord has appointed him

  903. as ruler over his people, because you have what not kept

  904. what the Lord commanded. You.

  905. Now what took place here? This here.

  906. The Lord said, hey, Samuel said show up.

  907. We're going to do a sacrifice. I'll be there to do the

  908. sacrifice. The people started to leave, so

  909. he wanted to please the people. Samuel's not there.

  910. He's not being patient. He doesn't do what Samuel says

  911. that the Lord said, so he doesn't sacrifice himself.

  912. And now the Lord says you didn't know, baby.

  913. Now he did a sacrifice to the Lord.

  914. But the Lord didn't say him to do the sacrifice, the prophets

  915. coming to do the sacrifice. So the Lord says I'm looking for

  916. somebody, but he gives him another opportunity or at least

  917. he again tries to come back to him and say, listen, if you're

  918. going to be a true worshipper, this how it works.

  919. So we go to the 15th chapter for Samuel, and he says now, so

  920. you're going to go into battle and this group of people right

  921. here, you keeping nothing? You destroy it all.

  922. You're not. You don't keep a thing.

  923. I understand that these past battles, you guys have taken the

  924. best. You've done a sacrifice.

  925. You've honored me with that because I helped you win the

  926. battle You've done. But with this group right here,

  927. I've already judged them. None of them are good.

  928. No one will ever be good out of this breed.

  929. No one will ever be good. God knows the end from the

  930. beginning. They'll nobody will ever turn to

  931. me out of this race here, this nation of people.

  932. Destroy it all. He kills everyone but keeps the

  933. best. And the Lord says I regret.

  934. I regret that I have made Sal king.

  935. And so Samuel all night contends with the Lord about this deal

  936. shows up and he says what in the world, John?

  937. He said I only obeyed the command of God and I love

  938. Samuel's response. Then what is the sound of sheep

  939. that I'm hearing right now? So he goes on and says, look, I

  940. mean, I did what God said we could have, But you know what?

  941. At the end of the day, some people came to me and we talked

  942. about how we should go ahead and sacrifice to God for this great

  943. win. And so we kept the best stuff to

  944. do a sacrifice. And here it comes in the 22nd

  945. verse of First Samuel. 15 Samuel said, has the Lord as much

  946. delight and burn, offerings and sacrifice as in obeying the

  947. voice of the Lord. Behold, to obey is better.

  948. Then sacrifice and to heed. Then the fat of Rams.

  949. For rebellion is is as the sin of divination and insombornation

  950. is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the

  951. word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being king.

  952. A true worshipper. Bible definition of worship.

  953. Worship means obey God. If the Lord says give obey,

  954. that's worship. If the Lord says run obey,

  955. that's worship. If the Lord says be quiet, obey,

  956. that's worship. If the Lord says read the word

  957. obey, that's worship. If the Lord says pray, pray,

  958. that's worship. The Lord says forgive your

  959. brother, forgive him. That's worship.

  960. That's worship. And the Lord says I'm looking

  961. for true worshippers. I'm looking for people who obey

  962. me. And if the Lord says sing, sing.

  963. If he says shout, shout. But he did not take every town

  964. with a shout. Why do we go to churches and we

  965. want to shout every service? God didn't take every city with

  966. a shout. So it doesn't mean that we

  967. should have to shout every service.

  968. God didn't have expressions of joy in everything, so that that

  969. mean every service you got to be laughing and rolling on the

  970. floor. What you have to do is obey some

  971. of God's most powerful services, like.

  972. But because we're religiously worse.

  973. Oh Lord God, oh God, God, everybody else is quiet and

  974. you're screaming and Lord, I love you, Lord, Lord.

  975. And we're like God's not in your song at all.

  976. You are emotionally responding right now because if you were in

  977. the spirit, obedience would be be quiet.

  978. But now if everybody is like, glory to God, glory to God, and

  979. you're like, you're definitely not in the spirit.

  980. But I don't feel like shouting. But he says to shout.

  981. And I am do it by the Spirit, not by my emotions anyway.

  982. Because again, we all those little religious Christians,

  983. what do they do? Well, you know, we're supposed

  984. to be led by faith, but I don't feel like, well, you're not

  985. supposed to feel faith, right? You're just supposed to obey

  986. God. I don't feel like singing.

  987. Who cares? Sing and there.

  988. And since you're not created to sing all of us forever in

  989. eternity, although we will sing, you can make a joyful noise.

  990. So God did include. You right.

  991. So again, it should be easy. If people are truly worshipping,

  992. they come to church. Because he said, oh, forsake the

  993. assembly and you can't, you cannot interpret that any other

  994. way. And they are trying, but they

  995. are already. I mean, it's like they, you

  996. know, you don't have to go to church.

  997. They use this scripture all the time, assemble.

  998. But they didn't actually go to church that they assembled.

  999. They did assemble, and God says assemble and you can't assemble

  1000. by yourself. Can't happen.

1001. I mean, it's just crazy doctrine out there, but it's because the

1002. devil's really good at keeping people separated and not true

1003. worshippers. Are you hearing me?

1004. Well, How relevant is this to today?

  1005. Well, Mark chapter 12. Mark chapter 12, verse 28 to 34.

Mark 12 chapter mention Mark 12:28–34

1006. One of the scribes came and heard them argue, and

1007. recognizing that he had answered them well, asked him what

1008. commandment is the foremost of all.

1009. Jesus said the foremost is here. Sing to the Lord.

1010. Sing to the Lord with all your heart.

1011. Sing, sing, sing because you were created to worship.

1012. Now if you define worship like God, then you could say we were

1013. created to worship because I was created to always obey my

1014. Father. So it is true we were created to

1015. worship when worship means to obey God whatever he says.

1016. So if God says sing, I worship him singing because I obey.

1017. If God says to lay down and be still, I worship him.

1018. If the Lord says go to this place and pay for this person's

1019. meal, I go do it. I'm worshipping him.

1020. You know you can worship God that way.

1021. We say worship God with your giving.

1022. Well the reason we worship God with the giving because he says

1023. give worship then means not because we're singing it out of

1024. our hands, but it's because we're obeying the command of

1025. God. So Jesus says, well, they asked

1026. what's the form? Jesus answered the foremost.

1027. It says here on Israel, the Lord our God is 1 Lord, and you shall

1028. love the Lord with all your there's your spirit, all your

1029. there's your soul Round that's your mind, will, emotion.

1030. And with all your mind that's your intellect and with all your

1031. that's your body. Your body's not your.

1032. OK, the 2nd is this. You shall love your neighbor as

1033. yourself. There is no other commandment

1034. greater than these, the scribe said to him.

1035. Right, Teacher, you have truly stated that he is 1 and there is

1036. no one else beside him. Now look where this guy goes,

1037. and that you shall love him with all your heart, with all your

1038. understanding, with all your strength, and love your

1039. neighbors and himself in so much more, is much more than all

1040. burnt offerings and sacrifices. Didn't we just read this that

1041. Samuel tells Saul you get no more Kingdom God stripping you

1042. of your King's anointing because you are coming and giving a

1043. sacrifice of praise? Oh, you don't want to hear this.

1044. That's fine. You going to come and bring a

1045. sacrifice of praise, but you're not going to actually obey me.

1046. I mean, you gonna sweat more than anybody.

1047. You gonna dance more than anybody.

1048. You gonna shout more than anybody.

1049. You gonna run more than anybody. Unless you in the house that

1050. teaches this stuff and then you don't move at all.

1051. But then you go to places that nobody knows you and you're all

1052. over the place and he says all that burn off rings.

1053. The second he said when Jesus saw, look what he says.

1054. When Jesus saw that he answered intelligent.

1055. Look what he responds, he said to him, look what he said.

1056. You are not far from you want to get into Kingdom.

1057. You got to obey. It's not you're not singing your

1058. way in. You're singing is not making you

1059. more Kingdom. Your obedience is what makes you

1060. Kingdom, and sometimes the Kingdom says you need to sing, I

1061. said you need to sing, you need to sing.

1062. Because if the Lord tells me just to dance, or if He tells me

1063. to run, I'll run if he tells. Me to shout, I'll shout and you

  1064. understand. I'll praise period.

1065. And a lot of times, you know, you get in some places where

1066. there's a lot of ministers. They don't do nothing, but I get

1067. around a lot of Saints that all they do is sing and they ain't

1068. obedient, which means they're not a true worshipper because

1069. they don't put down the flesh, they don't crucify it, they

1070. don't walk wholly, meaning they don't keep themselves separated

1071. unto God. All right, it's getting getting

1072. nice and loud up in this place right here who love it.

1073. Well then we got to define love, right?

1074. Because if God's looking for true worshippers and worship

1075. means to obey him, he said Now like he seeks.

1076. What was he seeking when he went after David?

1077. A man after his own heart. And what was David?

1078. A man who obeyed? There are only three accounts.

1079. I believe it is 3 accounts of David of his failures.

1080. But yet we act like, you know, they're right there.

1081. Especially the you know the Bathsheba one right there.

1082. You know what? He did so many more obedient

1083. things. I mean, it just compels in

1084. comparison his obedience to God compared to his three documented

1085. disobedient things. He was a man after Gaza.

1086. This wasn't. And most people say a man after

1087. Gaza. Heart is a man who's quick to

1088. repent. God was after his after this

1089. guy, before he ever became king. So his repentance to Nathan

1090. didn't mean it was a man after his own heart.

1091. It was because he was already a guy that recognized worship is

1092. obeying God. And since you've called me out

1093. and you're right, who am I to kill the prophet?

1094. Because other kings did that to make them continue to look good,

1095. he said. I'm going to obey God because

  1096. that's what a true worshipper does.

1097. They obey. And you can't obey God in spirit

1098. and in truth unless you're connected to truth.

1099. Hallelujah. Cause worship means you love

1100. him. How do we know this?

1101. John 1415 says it this way if you love me.

1102. Who's saying this? So you can't just sing?

1103. I love you, I love you. I love you.

1104. I mean we sing these songs about how much we love God, but he's

1105. like, I don't care you're, I mean, you know, half this half.

1106. So many people are married and they're here and I love you.

1107. And most don't believe it because it's a word without

1108. action. And you know you're not duping

1109. the Lord. The Lord's not a man that he

1110. should lie, number one, nor is the Lord mocked.

1111. So you can't say out of your mouth, I love you.

1112. And he don't know in your heart that it's a lot to your actions

1113. if you love me. Jesus the King defines how he

1114. knows you love him. Oh my gosh.

1115. Guys, I've already told you this in the bears repeating today.

1116. God creates Adam in his image. He's just like God, no sin.

1117. But how does God even know Adam loves him?

1118. He's made his image. Why would he not know that Adam

1119. loves him? He can only know one way.

1120. Adam has to obey to show love. That's why he says you can eat

1121. of any tree. But if the tree of the knowledge

1122. of good and evil you shall not eat for the day you eat, you

1123. die. I just want to know.

1124. Adam, do you love me? It's the only way.

1125. Saying I love you doesn't mean it.

1126. And Jesus reaffirms this now. If you love me, you sometimes,

1127. but not always, because you understand this is grace.

1128. Anyway, you don't have to Jack. You will.

1129. Keep my commandments and there's so many people religiously

1130. worship in Jesus right now as false worshippers crying out.

1131. This is why I'll never forget I was in at a particular

1132. conference and I just teenagers were on this wall just wailing,

1133. wailing in a in a praise session just, I mean crying everything.

1134. And I'm like, wow man, these teens are going after it.

1135. And the Lord told me he said no, they're not.

1136. He says I don't even hear them. I'm like Lord, he said none of

1137. them are connected to me in the spirit at all.

1138. Now that doesn't mean God is not compassionate.

1139. That doesn't mean that God isn't trying to move them somewhere to

1140. get them somewhere. See, here's the thing.

1141. Don't be so arrogant to think God's got accept how I'm doing

  1142. it. I mean, that's the I I I cried

1143. out and cried out. He had.

1144. God doesn't have to do anything but what His word says.

1145. And if you'll do his word, then he has to do that.

1146. That's why Jesus can be in a crowd.

1147. It's why people are so crazy and they say, well, if I just get in

1148. the presence of God, just get in the presence.

1149. God has been in the presence of all kind of people and did

1150. nothing. It did not change them

1151. permanent. You know what miracles sound?

1152. If we could just get the miracles back, can we just get

1153. the miracles back? Miracle Signs and Wonders does

1154. not. Mean permanent change in people

1155. because Jesus did miracle signs and wanders 3 years into as

1156. many. She said I ain't doing no more

1157. miracles in this town. All you do is seek a sign.

1158. You are a perverse and evil generation.

1159. All you do is seek a sign. I'm so sick and tired of all the

1160. signs that are testifying in me. If you if you believe the signs,

1161. then you would obey me. But you're not obeying me, so

1162. I'm not going to perform for you.

1163. So you can't come and make me do what you want, nor can you make

1164. me respond to you in your flesh. That's good.

1165. I'm not going to be in your service just because you're

1166. crying and you got a problem. But I'll be in your presence if

1167. you'll make a demand on my word and I'll show up.

1168. I'll show out. I'll stand up, I'll do it and

1169. I'll deliver you like nobody else.

1170. But you're crying doesn't do nothing for me.

1171. He can say I got a whole book of criers that I did nothing.

1172. Are you hearing me? Because this is how good God is.

1173. You can be doing so much in the flesh and God to send you a

1174. spirit man or woman to come by and say no.

1175. Honey, I can show you some things that help move God, but

1176. if you want to worship God your way religiously, then you'll get

1177. that God Well, but he's done stuff for me.

1178. He's done stuff for the people praying for you while you stay

  1179. ignorant. That's the problem.

1180. Did God get you out of that? Yeah, but it wasn't your

1181. prayers. It was someone who knew how to

1182. tap God on your behalf. There was a Moses in your life

1183. that was standing up while you were stiff, stubborn and

1184. hardhearted doing it. Your way and somebody was in the

1185. gap still for you. And yeah, it was God, but it was

1186. nothing. You were snotting out.

1187. Just say Amen. Anyway, this is true deliverance

1188. right here, people, because this how you tap into God and become

1189. a true worshipper, because you're like, I'll find out what

1190. God says. Because he said now if you love

1191. me, you'll keep my word. Then he goes on down in the 21st

1192. chat verse of the same chapter and he says he who had, who has

1193. my commandments and keeps them, is the one who loves me.

1194. And he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will

1195. love him and will disclose myself to him.

1196. But what is it that shows that we love him, we have His

1197. commandments and we keep them? Then he goes down to 23rd verse.

1198. In case you're confused, he says Jesus answer said that him if

1199. anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my father will love

1200. him. Which then implies if you don't

1201. keep my word, Dad is definitely displeased.

1202. OK. And we will come to him and make

1203. our abode with him he who does not.

1204. Love me now. How do we know who doesn't love

1205. you? Doesn't keep my word.

1206. Well, I love the Lord. Where you keeping his word?

1207. Well, I mean, when you're going to church.

1208. Well, I go when I want to. But the Lord says don't forsake

1209. the assembly yourself together. You're supposed to get up

1210. underneath the pastor man. Become part of a body, you know,

1211. share, pray. I mean, you know.

1212. Well, you know, someone so hurt me, I got church her.

1213. Well, you're just offended, you know?

  1214. Get over it. Forgive.

  1215. Let's go. Well, you don't know what I've

1216. been. OK, so you don't love him.

  1217. Then? Don't tell me I don't love hell.

1218. You don't judge me. I'm not judging you.

1219. The scripture said if you're not keeping his words, you don't

1220. love him. What do you want me to say?

1221. I'm not going to believe you're lie.

1222. I mean you want me to believe you over the word who is saying

1223. verse 24. He who does not love me does not

1224. keep. My words and the word which you

1225. hear is not mine, but the father who sent me and that's what he's

1226. saying now. I'm not saying this.

1227. Daddy told me to say this so you don't do what I'm saying and.

1228. Then you have like you right with dad and your dad are tight.

1229. I'll go on over to 1st John just so we have no confusion today

1230. before we leave because God's seeking true worshippers that

1231. are those listen. This is why heaven will be

1232. nothing but worshippers. Because everyone who is with God

1233. in heaven for the time frame we are before we come back to new

1234. heaven, new earth. At the end of the day they will

1235. be worshippers because we will obey dad.

1236. We love to. I mean we just love to obey dad

1237. because he's life, he's love, he's existence and his ways.

1238. The only way, and we're so good with that, because it makes us

1239. discover who we are and all that we can be.

1240. First John Chapter 2, verse 3 through 6 is this.

    1 John 2:3–6

1241. By this we know that we have come to know him.

1242. By this we know that we have come to know him notice.

1243. It doesn't say experience him because you can experience

1244. something about someone without knowing something.

1245. I've been in plenty of sports or concert experiences or political

1246. experiences for that and don't know the people.

1247. But I've been in an experience and I've walked down and go,

1248. wow, that was some experience and it touched me, it moved me.

1249. But I don't have a personal relationship with that which

1250. moved me. But this we know that if we have

1251. come to know him, if we keep his commands, the one who says I

1252. have come to know him and does not keep his commandments, is a.

1253. Is a what? It's a liar and the so God

1254. seeking after true worshippers and the and he seeks after them.

1255. Who worship him in spirit. And so if you don't keep his

1256. word, then you're a liar and the truth's not with you.

1257. So that means you're really not a true worshipper.

1258. So you're manipulating God's scripture to worship him the way

1259. you want to, but he don't hear you.

1260. But now he wants to be able to have the relationship, but you

1261. have to have it on his terms. Jesus said I am the way, the

1262. truth in life. We we don't get in this

1263. relationship our way. Why do we think then we get to

1264. love him our way. Okay.

1265. So I have come to know him. If if one says I have come to

1266. know him and does not keep his commandments, he's a liar.

1267. The truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word in

1268. him, the love of God has truly been perfected by this.

1269. We know that we are in him. How do we know?

1270. Because we come to church and sing and we are the most

1271. passionate singer. We sing more than anyone else.

  1272. Longer. Harder.

1273. No. By this we know that we are in

1274. him. The one who says he abides in

1275. him ought himself to walk in the same manner as he walked.

1276. And Jesus did not love his will even unto death.

1277. Not my will, Father, but your will be done.

1278. I'm only going to do what you say because I'm a true

1279. worshipper. Thank you so much for listening
