  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. In our Bible reading.

  4. Plan We just, you know come out of Second Chronicles, right?

  5. So you you came across this scripture but Second Chronicles

    2 Chronicles 2 chapter mention

  6. chapter 2 verse five. This struck struck my spirit

  7. yesterday actually. Says the house which I'm about

  8. to build will be great for greater is our God than.

  9. All the gods. Let's see.

  10. Let's say that again, the house which I'm about to build will be

  11. greater. Great.

  12. Yeah, that's good. For greater is our God than all

  13. the gods. Now you can probably go back on

  14. our podcast and hear a message that I ministered once called

  15. someone greater than. Solomon is here, OK?

  16. And if you hadn't heard that, I encourage you to go find that

  17. message and listen to it. You know, Solomon is the one who

  18. announces I'm going to build a house with the Lord, and

  19. obviously his father wanted to do so, but the Lord's like

  20. you're not building the house. He says you're a man of blood

  21. shed. And now again David's bloodshed

  22. was authorized, but he says you're not going to build that

  23. house. And so he, you know, delegated

  24. that to his son Solomon. And in his lifetime he began to

  25. accumulate resource for the temple.

  26. Not only did he accumulate it from the nation of Israel, but

  27. from his own personal account. Did he put towards the building

  28. of this temple? And you know you can take time

  29. to go through for your own personal history lesson and see

  30. all the wealth that was stored for this building.

  31. And so now Solomon, and again, if you just jump over a chapter,

  32. you'll begin to read him starting this particular temple

  33. and the the main floor. OK, the main floor.

  34. Build out a cedar. But you don't see cedar when

  35. you're walking on it because the whole floor is overlaid with

  36. pure gold. The whole thing, I mean this is

  37. extravagant. And then they got precious

  38. stones and then they hand carve palms, you understand?

  39. He definitely loved the state of Florida and so.

  40. They were thinking of us when he was carving out the temple, but

  41. all gold. I mean, we really can't fathom

  42. what this place looked like, this house.

  43. And notice Solomon says this. He says, Now listen, I'm going

  44. to build a house for the Lord, for God, and it's going to be

  45. great. Now why is that?

  46. Because he's a greater God. Than all other God.

  47. If I'm going to build a house that we can see, that this world

  48. can see, then there's no way some other temple dedicated to a

  49. false God can be more impressive.

  50. I mean, Solomon was like, there's no way that another

  51. nation's going to come and see the temple dedicated to the

  52. creator of heaven and earth. And they go that ain't got

  53. nothing on our God. Oh, that's a shack.

  54. Oh, wow. That's not a big deal.

  55. Are you hearing me? Sodom was like, there's no way

  56. that I'm going to build a house that can be publicly seen by

  57. this nation or any other nation, and somebody would have the

  58. audacity to come into this place and act like their temple to

  59. their false God. Could even compare.

  60. Do you understand? Solomon had this mindset?

  61. Are you hearing me that when you see the House of the Lord, when

  62. you see the House of the Lord that I'm about to build, you're

  63. going to be in awe Now Solomon was someone who could clip

  64. people in awe? In fact, the Queen of Sheba, if

  65. you read about her, she came to see Solomon one day because she

  66. heard about all of his wisdom. Now you understand why Solomon

  67. has the wealth that he has anyway is because all he wants

  68. to do is take care of God's people, which is a whole another

  69. message by itself. When the king decides that all

  70. he wants is the rule God's people well, in essence be able

  71. to rule before the people well. Are you a little king?

  72. Are you rulers? Then you should desire to want

  73. to rule well before the people and because all he said, give me

  74. wisdom and knowledge to rule well before your people.

  75. And man, God came down and says wow, because you did not ask for

  76. the heads of your enemy because you didn't ask for wealth.

  77. He didn't even ask for long life, a legacy where your name

  78. would be remembered. Oh, he said.

  79. You're all you were concerned about is leading my people, he

  80. said. Son, I will give you that

  81. wisdom. But guess what comes with that

  82. now? What comes?

  83. What is happening? Hallelujah.

  84. Is it me? OK, Somebody scratching on a

  85. mic? Man, I'm going to be rapping

  86. here in a minute. Hallelujah.

  87. I think Meridas over there, going over there.

  88. Watch her now, because I'm going to start beatboxing here in a

  89. minute. OK, So what was I talking about

  90. before I was rudely interrupted by her beatbox?

  91. Over here, Wisdom. You get the wisdom.

  92. Guess what? Guess what follows Wisdom.

  93. Well, your enemy. And be at peace with you.

  94. And everybody's going to remember your name.

  95. Are you hearing me? So again, if we just put the

  96. order right. So here's Solomon.

  97. He's at his Kingdom. The Queen of Sheba comes, and

  98. she does not come to not be impressive because when she

  99. showed up, because you don't come to a king empty handed, she

  100. shows up. I'm going to say that again.

  101. You do not come to the king. And if you've come to this

  102. house, the king is here. His name's Jesus.

  103. I hope you did not come emptyhanded, but she comes with

  104. the most spices that have ever rolled in to Israel.

  105. The most. I mean, she has an entourage of

  106. so much wealth. Are you hearing me okay?

  107. And so with that being said, she in turn goes and sees the people

  108. all right? And before she even sees the

  109. king, she's like. Wow, look at his servants.

  110. Look how they're dressed. I mean, they're not dressed like

  111. slaves, although they were slaves.

  112. They were so dressed so well. The order of his house, the

  113. amount of wealth that it took her breath away.

  114. Just the natural sight of his house and his servants struck

  115. her in awe. Now you understand when Solomon

  116. wants to build a house for the for God, the God that's greater

  117. than all gods, He's like, it's going to take their breath away.

  118. Now here's the thing. What he's building is not his

  119. own, because the plan has come from the Lord.

  120. The Lord is the architect, designer of what this temple

  121. looks like. And so it's my, it's mighty

  122. impressive. It's mighty impressive.

  123. And you know, so again, this statement just struck me.

  124. The house which I'm about to build, who's building it?

  125. Solomon is. Who's building it?

  126. Solomon is now. He's not personally building it.

  127. He's, you know, because again, it's an architectural project

  128. and he's is, is enlisted all kinds of people.

  129. I mean, there's like 150,000 people that he's, you know, are

  130. working. And 36,000 are foreman and he's

  131. getting, you know, supply from all over the regions.

  132. But ultimately, once it's built, then he does this massive

  133. sacrifice, which was a lot of resource just to sacrifice 1000

  134. bulls. Wow.

  135. And all of a sudden God's present showed up in that house.

  136. So much so, the Bible says that the priests that were inside it

  137. couldn't even stand up. They couldn't even stand up the

  138. weight of the glory of God his presence that when it filled it

  139. is says his train filled the temple.

  140. His glory filled the temple so full that the the measure of

  141. that presence of God's spirit put them all down on the ground.

  142. They couldn't even stand. Are you hearing me?

  143. And he said, man, I'm about to build a house.

  144. It's going to be great for greater as our God than all the

  145. others. And then the Lord reminded me of

  146. First Corinthians chapter 6 and 1st Corinthians chapter 6 will

    1 Corinthians 6 chapter mention

  147. start in verse 19. It says.

  148. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy

  149. Spirit? Who is in you, whom you have

  150. from God, and that you? Are not your own verse 20 for

  151. you have been bought with a price.

  152. Therefore glorify God in your body. 1st Corinthians 3 verse 16

  153. says it this way. Do you not know that you are the

  154. temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

  155. Do we have the same attitude as Solomon that when we got born

  156. again and the Spirit of God came to live inside us, that when we

  157. look in the mirror we're saying, Lord, I am going to build you a

  158. house because greater? Is he that is in me, then he

  159. that is in the world? How in the world could I not

  160. build this house so that when it walks around in society that all

  161. of a sudden people are like, there ain't no way I'm better

  162. than that. Are you hearing me?

  163. I mean. All we are, we have.

  164. It's like we are not taking thought that God did not want to

  165. move in a gold house. He did not want to move into a

  166. natural home. He always wanted to be back in

  167. man. And now that he's showing up,

  168. what are we showing the world that's housing God?

  169. I mean, are we allowing the gods of this world to showcase more

  170. in those bodies than what God can do in us?

  171. Because at the end of the day, God came to the house that

  172. Solomon built. And at the end of the day, God

  173. made man, and through the dust of the earth he ultimately howls

  174. this suit. But when you make Jesus Lord,

  175. you're asking him to move in. And since he's moving in, what

  176. is he moving into? And he's giving you the tool to

  177. renovate. Are you hearing me?

  178. He's giving you the tools to renovate.

  179. He's giving you the tools to the renewing of your mind and to the

  180. point of keeping your body subject so that there's no

  181. excuse that when someone in the world would look at you, they

  182. would be in awe, OK? Well, now the Spirit of God, you

  183. can't see it. You may not be able to see it,

  184. but you can sense it. In fact, Smith Wigglesworth

  185. worked on his temple, so much so that when he was sitting on a

  186. bus, it was. It was testified to him that

  187. when one man was getting off a bus, he says.

  188. Your mere presence convicts me of my sin.

  189. Cause you understand, when the Holy Spirit or when the Spirit

  190. of God came down in Solomon's temple that day, they couldn't

  191. stand in his presence. When the power of God came down

  192. upon the mountain, they were in fear and trembling.

  193. I mean the presence of God and pure holiness is something to be

  194. with, be to behold. And it will put all of us on our

  195. face. I said it will put all of us on

  196. our face. Are you hearing me?

  197. But with that being said, we ourselves have a responsibility

  198. to take care of the house cause we've been housed, we've been

  199. housed, so we shouldn't be sick like the rest of the world all

  200. the time. We shouldn't be, you know, beat

  201. down all the time like the rest of the world.

  202. We shouldn't be come, you know, there shouldn't be creaking

  203. coming from our temple. You know what creaking is?

  204. It's complaining and whining. Now that don't mean we're not

  205. going to have problems, but we overcome them so fast that

  206. people think we don't have them. They don't see depression

  207. associated with you because that's other God's temples.

  208. They don't see you walking around in fear, that's other

  209. God's temples. You understand because Jesus

  210. said you are of your father, the devil.

  211. And some of those temples, those bodies, they not only are they

  212. dead spirits in them, they're housing evil spirits and we

  213. should look nothing like this. Now you understand Solomon built

  214. a building. Anybody can build a building.

  215. Anybody can build architecture. You know, he's not the only

  216. person who can put gold over wood.

  217. But there's something about this house.

  218. And man, there was something about that ark.

  219. That he brought into that house because that art, before it even

  220. had that house and it was stuck in a tent.

  221. But that was one fine looking tent people.

  222. I'm telling you, the wealth of the tent itself, you understand

  223. religious, religious Christianity can't handle the

  224. tent or the temple because that would go against their

  225. stewardship. They can't.

  226. Handle that now, Pastor. We are definitely not going to

  227. have gold floors in our church. That is way too extravagant.

  228. Well, I guess you're not going to heaven.

  229. I mean, we'll complain about how much we pay for carpet.

  230. Speaking of carpet, we bought the rest.

  231. You know, we asked for $45,000. We've got $41,000.

  232. I'm like we're buying the rest of the carpet.

  233. So if you're like, oh, I still want to get in that field and

  234. and so towards it, you absolutely can because.

  235. But I we bought the rest of the carpet.

  236. So our goal is to have that all the way in by the end of

  237. October. All carpet in the mall, all

  238. right. Then we can move to continue

  239. projects. And if you haven't been to the

  240. front of the mall, we got a little sneak peek on the white

  241. columns. They're disappearing.

  242. A couple of them have disappeared, right?

  243. We just laid hands on them. And they're gone.

  244. It did take a couple days. And I think now that we know

  245. what we're doing, we can do the next one in a day.

  246. Hallelujah. But with that being said, what

  247. is your temple? Do you have the same attitude as

  248. Solomon that you're like, I'm telling you, when the world sees

  249. me, they are not going to mistake me with their temples?

  250. This is why this temple's not full of debauchery, right?

  251. I mean, this is not a dumping ground for toxic material.

  252. I don't feel this temple full of toxic material that messes my

  253. mind up. That starts to play with it

  254. because there's plenty of other temples in the world.

  255. Are you hearing me? I understand we're going to look

  256. the same to a degree. We're human, but you can begin

  257. to walk in the power and purpose of God so much that people will

  258. say something about you, something about you.

  259. I've been in multiple places where my wife where people have

  260. said you're glowing and it's not because she just had a facial.

  261. It's not that. It's not because she's, you

  262. know, just came away from the sun.

  263. It's not that something else. They're starting to sense

  264. something else. Amen.

  265. And you can walk in again. It's the inside.

  266. It's the Spirit of God radiating through your soul and your body

  267. that you decide I'm going to live such a pure life according

  268. to scripture. That the other gods temples

  269. don't look nothing like mine. Are you hearing me?

  270. So what type of house are you building?

  271. All right, Does it reflect God? Look at Hebrews chapter 6 verses

    Hebrews 6 chapter mention

  272. one and two. Hebrews chapter 6 verse one and

    Hebrews 6 chapter mention

  273. two. Therefore, leaving the

  274. elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to

  275. maturity. Not laying again a foundation of

  276. repentance from dead works and faith towards God, of

  277. instructions of instruction about washings and laying on of

  278. hands and the resurrection of the dead in eternal judgment.

  279. Notice Hebrews chapter 6 here lets us know that if you're in a

    Hebrews 6 chapter mention

  280. place that only preaches repentance from dead works,

  281. that's being born again. Okay.

  282. Faith towards God. That's being born again.

  283. That's one and the same repentance from dead works and

  284. faith towards God, that's salvation of instruction about

  285. washings again, baptisms. Okay to be baptized in water.

  286. All the laying on of hands. And most of that has to do with,

  287. you know, receiving the baptism, the Holy Spirit.

  288. And there's some places don't even get their foundation

  289. finished. OK, but then you lay hands on

  290. the sick even, and then the resurrection of the dead, which

  291. is the catching away, right? And then eternal judgment, which

  292. is the final judgment, those that are going to go before the

  293. great white throne judgment and be thrown into the lake of fire.

  294. All of those are elementary teachings.

  295. And if that's all you know, you have to say I am an elementary

  296. student and all you have at best, is a foundation.

  297. And we don't live only on a foundation.

  298. You have a great foundation. But when the storm comes, you're

  299. exposed. And This is why modern Christian

  300. religion has you on the foundation of salvation.

  301. Water baptism, right? Eternal judgment, the catching

  302. away. But when the storms of life

  303. come, they're completely exposed and they're begging out to God

  304. do something. He's like, why don't you build

  305. some walls? Why don't you get a roof on that

  306. thing? Why don't you get central heat

  307. and air in there? You know, why don't we build you

  308. some protect? Why don't you come into the

  309. House of the Lord? Why don't you get some other

  310. truths? Because he says we need to go on

  311. to maturity. And here's the thing, you are

  312. not going to look different from the temples that house other

  313. gods if you haven't gone beyond a foundation.

  314. In fact, Paul, according to First Corinthians chapter 3,

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  315. says to the church there. He says now I cannot speak to

  316. you as spiritual people. I'm going to have to come and

  317. talk to you as babes again. I want to come and give you some

  318. spiritual meat. I want to give you some some

  319. things that can move on to maturity.

  320. But I cannot do it because you have identified yourself through

  321. your words and actions that you are carnal.

  322. You are acting like mere men. In essence, you have the Holy

  323. Ghost in you, but you look like the other temples of people that

  324. aren't even born again. You're carnal.

  325. You're led by your flesh. You say what you want to say.

  326. You're led by your emotions. You're moved by your emotions.

  327. You respond by your emotions. You let the situations dictate

  328. how you feel. You're jockeying for position.

  329. You're doing everything the world does.

  330. Now you're born again. That's true.

  331. But man, I can't tell your temple from theirs.

  332. And Solomon said I will not build a temple that you can

  333. mistake that it's not greater, not going to do it.

  334. And in the church today, I'm telling you God is in the

  335. business of building you to maturity.

  336. He's. He never sent Jesus so that you

  337. could only have that one teaching of repentance from dead

  338. works and faith towards God. So when you die, you go to

  339. heaven. That was just the door.

  340. It doesn't bring maturity. Are you hearing me?

  341. Let's go over to Luke, chapter 14.

    Luke 14 chapter mention

  342. Luke chapter 14. Once again, nobody.

    Luke 14 chapter mention

  343. When I say nobody, I don't mean that literal, you know, it's

  344. just that too often because of religious Christianity, OK?

  345. And I say religious Christianity, and I mean that

  346. because at the end of the day, if you take God's word and you

  347. decide how you're going to apply it and never console God, that's

  348. religion. That is religion.

  349. And what we've done is we've done a disservice, OK?

  350. Our our ministers have by communicating that you know the

  351. word by itself. You know, if you try to do it,

  352. you know it's law, law, law. And now we're under grace and we

  353. have to do anything because we couldn't do anything.

  354. Well, that's not what law was. We're confusing law with

  355. religion and and the Pharisees were religious because they took

  356. God's word and then they interpreted it on their

  357. understanding what they wanted it to be.

  358. That's why Jesus said why do you forsake the commandments of God

  359. for the sake of your traditions? You are telling people that this

  360. is what I meant by that when I did not mean that this is what I

  361. meant. And the same thing happens after

  362. you're born again. We will try to fit scriptures to

  363. fit our emotions when it's not about fitting your emotions,

  364. it's about you changing your emotions to go to the word,

  365. renewing your mind to God's way of doing.

  366. And you do that by faith that His way.

  367. If I do it his way then I'll get the result of his way.

  368. OK, but in Luke chapter 14, verse 25 to 30 and then we'll

    Luke 14:25–30

  369. jump to 33, it says as massive crowds and read out of the

  370. Passion follow Jesus. He turned to them and said, When

  371. when you follow me as my disciple, you must turn aside

  372. your father, your mother, your wife, your sisters, your

  373. brothers, yes, you will even seem as though you hate your own

  374. life. This is the price you'll pay to

  375. be considered one of my followers.

  376. And anyone who comes to me must be willing to share my cross and

  377. experience it as his own. And he cannot be considered or

  378. or he cannot be what considered to be my disciple.

  379. So don't follow me without considering what it will cost

  380. you for who would construct a house before first sitting down

  381. to estimate the entire cost to complete it.

  382. Otherwise he may lay the foundation and not be able to

  383. finish and the neighbors will ridicule him saying look at him,

  384. he started to build but couldn't complete it.

  385. He couldn't complete it. Then verse 33 says likewise.

  386. Unless you surrender all to me, giving up all you possess, you

  387. can not be one of my disciples. Now what I love about the

  388. passion translation put it back on the 25 to 30 is there's a few

  389. things we want to say. Other translation says this.

  390. Unless you hate your father, your mother, your wife, your

  391. sister, the brothers, you know to come follow me.

  392. Now, it's not literally saying, husbands, you have a right to

  393. hate your wife. Now wives, you have a right to

  394. hate your husbands. Now, that's not what it's

  395. saying. What it's saying is it's

  396. literally saying this. If you're going to be my

  397. disciple, then you cannot. You got to put aside what daddy

  398. says. You got to put aside what Mama

  399. says. You got to even put aside what

  400. your wife? Says cause what your sister says

  401. your brothers have said. In fact, you got to put aside

  402. your own thoughts to the point that you even hate your own

  403. thinking when you know it doesn't line up with mine.

  404. In essence, a husband saying, honey, we're going to go to

  405. church. Well, I don't want us to go.

  406. Well, honey, I might have to put aside that thought.

  407. I'm going to church. You can stay home if you want

  408. to. But As for me and my house,

  409. we're going to serve the Lord. I got to put aside that, I said.

  410. I got to put aside that. I got to put aside that.

  411. There's Mamas out there. Some of the kids need to put

  412. aside Mamas. I'm talking about, you know,

  413. ones that are a little bit older.

  414. But again, even then, if you don't watch out, you know we

  415. should condition our children, our own lives, that we're what

  416. does the word say? What is the Father say?

  417. And he say, listen, if you're going to be my disciple because

  418. he's He's, this is what's crazy is that God clearly communicates

  419. what a disciple looks like, just like He clearly communicates

  420. what the church looks like. And I got this while I was

  421. cutting grass. The Lord's like, you know what?

  422. You know, people. It's amazing how people throw

  423. church around and just run church through the ground.

  424. It's, I mean, they drag church through the ground and.

  425. Right. I mean, the church has been

  426. attacked the most than anything. OK.

  427. But here's The thing is what? And I don't know, it's so

  428. amazing because of the illiteracy of believers.

  429. Why? Because they have a foundation

  430. that they never build, OK. And as a result of that, they're

  431. ridiculed. But here's the thing.

  432. The Lord's like, you know what everyone knows?

  433. You know the religious Christians, that there's God,

  434. only one true God, and that there are false gods.

  435. Well, if there can be false gods, then there can be false

  436. churches. But because we assumed church is

  437. only our name, well, you know God's not the only God.

  438. Now when I say that, I know he's the only God, but the world has

  439. other gods and we even acknowledge that they have them.

  440. We can go to like out. We'll be going to India in

  441. November. And I can say, well, that's

  442. their God. Now we it's no God.

  443. And I would love for God to let me just start ripping down idols

  444. in India. That would be amazing.

  445. The amazing practice of the Lord would just say tear it down,

  446. take it to construction team. Maybe we'll let us do it.

  447. I mean, they won't let us back. I get it.

  448. They ever catch us. But you understand what I'm

  449. saying. I mean, you know, you want to

  450. have one of those, like knock it over, grind it up moments, You

  451. know, you wish you could go back to some of that old covenant

  452. stuff. But with that being said, you

  453. know, well, here they are, That's that God, that God.

  454. And we know they're not gods, but we say that.

  455. But then we use church and we think church is only Jesus.

  456. Well, Jesus clearly defines what his church looks like.

  457. So then, if it doesn't look like that, I would say, well, that's

  458. a false church. That's really not his shirt.

  459. Oh no, that's it's not his church.

  460. Just like I can say you're not his disciple now, I'm not saying

  461. you're not born again. I'm just saying you're not a

  462. disciple. And Jesus never came or never

  463. commissioned us to go make converts.

  464. He says. You need disciples and disciples

  465. go beyond foundation. So look what happens, he said.

  466. Now listen, if you're going to be my disciple, you're going to

  467. have to put aside everybody else's thoughts, their way of

  468. doing it, Their thoughts. This is my parents.

  469. You got to be wiser than this. You got to say okay.

  470. Well. How does the the Lord want me to

  471. respond to these situations? And then you got to correct some

  472. stuff. You know, when you've been

  473. saying stuff wrong and you got to go back and say, you know

  474. what, I got to correct that one thing that parents need to

  475. correct right out the gate is telling your kids you can't

  476. afford nothing. You need to stop that.

  477. Now, it may not be in your account, but you know, when

  478. somebody hey, can we go? Don't say, well, we can't afford

  479. to go there. Say, well you know what?

  480. Let's see if the Lord wants us to do that, you know, because if

  481. the Lord wants us to do it, he'll supply it.

  482. Now that's more accurate. Now you're not promising them to

  483. go, nor are you telling them you have the means today to go, but

  484. what you are doing is acknowledging that if the Lord

  485. wants it, then it had come to pass.

  486. But at the end of the day, God doesn't do everything just cause

  487. we want all right. And it begins to give them this

  488. thing that you know, we're just talking with the Lord.

  489. It's like a regular conversation.

  490. Cause I didn't know you wanted to go to universal.

  491. And now you're saying, hey, this summer, let's go to universal

  492. and we're just conversing. But maybe we can and maybe we

  493. cannot. And there may be a legitimate

  494. reason why we would not. But just say, well, we can't

  495. afford. Well, then you say, well, I'll

  496. go to a place that I can always afford, and we're acting like

  497. God can't, so we can't. These thoughts, we have to put

  498. them aside, he says. And then he says this, he said.

  499. Now listen at the end of the day, and if you don't position

  500. your life, close again. You are the temple of the Holy

  501. Ghost. You're building a house that

  502. you're like. You got full liberty to give me

  503. all the instructions necessary for this house to be glorifying

  504. you, that through me you'll be glorified.

  505. And he says this is the price you'll pay to be considered.

  506. Now you may say on such and such day I ask Jesus into my heart,

  507. but that doesn't mean God's considering you a disciple.

  508. He may accurately be saying, well, your carnal they can't

  509. really do nothing with you. You're just a babe because

  510. you're not being trained in righteousness.

  511. I can't even give you mature stuff yet.

  512. I got to keep giving you milk because you won't get off the

  513. foundation, You won't build on the foundation.

  514. And again, if all you have is a foundation that keeps getting

  515. exposed to the elements, what do you think's going to happen to

  516. your foundation? It's going to erode.

  517. It's going to crack, and you have to continually do

  518. foundation maintenance. That's why all of those

  519. religious Christians are always having to come back and

  520. rededicate their life. I'm gonna do a rededication.

  521. I've come to fix my foundation because they constantly be

  522. exposed. They won't go on the maturity

  523. and they're not counting the cost.

  524. And so This is why it goes on and says if anyone's wanting to

  525. come come after me, must be willing to share my cross, What

  526. does that mean? It doesn't mean you literally

  527. carry a cross. It means you do what's Christ

  528. did. It's not my will, but your will

  529. be done. Even death on the cross, My

  530. purpose was to die for you. So you're going to have to have

  531. the same thing. You're going to die to your will

  532. and do the will of the Father who sent who who calls you to be

  533. born again and knew you before the foundations of the world,

  534. before you and your mother's womb.

  535. He knew your destiny. And I came into this world to

  536. only do the that's what Jesus said.

  537. He said, look, as the Father has sent me, I send and he only came

  538. to do the will of the Father. So he's saying same things

  539. required out of you. And let me tell you a few

  540. things. That's not on God's top ten list

  541. for you. A good job it's not on his top

  542. ten list. Well, for retirement it is not

  543. on his top ten list. It's not what college you go to

  544. is not on his top ten list, because you should already be

  545. enlisted in his university the day you got born again.

  546. Because what all professors fail to know is what the Holy Ghost

  547. already knows. Because he was there when it all

  548. started. He was the power that caused it

  549. to come to pass. Now, I'm not saying you can't go

  550. to college. I'm just saying we have this

  551. mindset. Got to get a good job, got to

  552. get a nice house, got to get good retirement, got to get good

  553. benefits. The Lord's like, I've took care

  554. of the benefits. I put you in the Kingdom.

  555. I got your education covered. I just need you to do my will.

  556. That's all I'm concerned about. You to seek First, the Kingdom

  557. and his rights and everything else.

  558. I mean, it's not complicated. Where's our kids going to go to

  559. college? You know, after they have you

  560. even asked the Lord, should they even go to college?

  561. Have you even? Maybe the Lord's like, they

  562. don't have time for that. Don't waste, don't waste four

  563. years on a piece of paper. I go ahead and do them with

  564. power and I got a whole another project for them to do.

  565. I'll tell you them all over the world, you understand the

  566. wealthiest people do not have college degrees anyway.

  567. But I'm just saying it's not necessary.

  568. But what's the enemy do? He gets us bond lives to

  569. distract. Why?

  570. So we won't build. So we got to take the cross

  571. again. We learn the parenting

  572. conference. The best thing you can ever tell

  573. your children is you need to discover why.

  574. What God's plan is for your life.

  575. It's the greatest thing you could ever do, because if you

  576. don't do that, you can't even be considered as disciple.

  577. I'll just even be more bold if you've never asked the Lord and

  578. what I do. Am I what I am?

  579. What I am doing currently right now?

  580. Is this even your will? If you've not even asked that

  581. question, then you're probably not a disciple, even though you

  582. may have informational knowledge about scripture.

  583. Because applying God's word to your will, that's right.

  584. Is religion. Is religion.

  585. Is everyone going to be called the pastor?

  586. No. Is everyone going to be called

  587. to be a prophet? No.

  588. I mean, he tells us this very specifically that not all are

  589. the fivefold ministry. I get it.

  590. But again, why are you in the sector of society that you're

  591. in? And are you doing what you need

  592. to do in that set? Are you walking with the Lord?

  593. And are you walking in a way that when you're at work, people

  594. are like, your temple's different now.

  595. They're not saying that, but you understand there's just

  596. something about your atmosphere that's all of a sudden different

  597. than everybody else. You know, I've never heard you

  598. cuss. How was that?

  599. You know, you did not get upset when we heard they were going to

  600. do cuts. Why is that?

  601. Because the great, the God in me is greater than all gods.

  602. And this house I'm building, it's going to be great.

  603. It's going to be such a reflection, right?

  604. So it goes on verse 28 though. And this is where the problem is

  605. in modern day religious Christianity.

  606. So don't follow me without considering what it will cost

  607. for you who construct a house before first sitting down to

  608. estimate the cost to complete it.

  609. Otherwise he'll lay the foundation, not be able to

  610. finish. You know how many people are not

  611. coming to the Lord because of people who came to the Lord and

  612. stayed on a foundation? Man, I got saved.

  613. I went to church. Oh, really?

  614. Yeah. And they're different for two

  615. weeks, a month, three months. And you know what happens at

  616. work? Well, we'll see how that is it a

  617. path. And you know what?

  618. For most of them, it does. Next thing you know, they're

  619. drinking with them on the weekend.

  620. Again. They're custom with them again.

  621. They're jumping back into the same things.

  622. They're just like their passion, their fires.

  623. Why? Because they didn't consider the

  624. cost. Because too often the call to

  625. repentance. Isn't even a call to repentance.

  626. It's a call to be saved. Jesus did not preach publicly.

  627. Get saved, he said. Repent.

  628. You're going to have to change. That's his first word.

  629. Change. President Obama didn't didn't

  630. inaugurate that word change. The Lord Jesus Christ did change

  631. 'cause what you're doing now in Kingdom, it's not.

  632. And The thing is, is that God does it first have to educate

  633. you to get in it. He gives you the Spirit that can

  634. stay in it. Are you hearing me?

  635. He gives you the Spirit that can stay in it.

  636. Now you have the ability and no excuse to build a house to

  637. maturity. You're with no excuse and the

  638. reason why people laugh at you and laugh about you laugh about

  639. your marriages. Now, I'm not talking about you,

  640. I'm being general. But the the reason why religious

  641. Christianity is laughed at by the world is because their

  642. marriages fall apart like everybody else's.

  643. You know, they live on the weekend like everybody else but

  644. still go to church. They had.

  645. They act in rebellion. They hate authority.

  646. They talk about their managers and their bosses and their

  647. pastors. They gossip like everybody else

  648. because they haven't considered the cost.

  649. What do you think about the manager?

  650. I have nothing to say about it. What you just saw they did.

  651. Doesn't matter. I'm not falling back into that.

  652. I'm a different person. There's too many that are doing

  653. it. Why?

  654. Because they don't have the same mindset.

  655. They don't have the same insight that Solomon had.

  656. And I'm going to build a house that is great because our God is

  657. greater than all gods. Do you understand?

  658. The Hindus are more dedicated to prayer than USA Christian

  659. churches. Islam is more dedicated to

  660. prayer than US Christian churches.

  661. They're more dedicated now. It's religious nonetheless, but

  662. at least they have a commitment and we actually have the God on

  663. the inside of us. I mean, the one they're

  664. searching lives here. Right here.

  665. He's right here. He's alive in me.

  666. Yeah, like, well, you know, I'll get into prayer when I can.

  667. It's not building the house. Hallelujah.

  668. Go ahead and smile anyway. First, Peter, Chapter 2.

  669. Amen. I mean, this is good news.

  670. Honestly, the only reason why you wouldn't be shouting and

  671. running around is because you know, if you're like, dude, I'm

  672. letting my house stare up, you know we'll fix it.

  673. Guess what? Good news, good news.

  674. Good news if your house is utterly falling apart right now.

  675. I mean everything's like, geez man, I got the tiles.

  676. I mean my shingles are coming off because you know, I'm

  677. gossiping, you know, I mean you know I got water pot pipes

  678. busting you know, my hot water heater went down you know,

  679. whatever. I don't care how bad.

  680. And you're like I I don't have enough to fit the Lord's like

  681. that's alright I'll, I'll, I'll get you all the funds you need

  682. to. Fix it.

  683. I mean, he's going to fund your project.

  684. I mean, what would your natural house look if there was no, if

  685. you didn't have to come up with the money yourself?

  686. Oh. You don't want to hear this,

  687. right? Come on, Pastor Tim.

  688. You, you and Pastor Bridge. You don't know what I'm talking

  689. about. What would it be like if God's

  690. like, son? Just go buy it now.

  691. Again, God ain't going over there putting your sheetrock on,

  692. putting in your electrical outlets, putting up your.

  693. But you have all the resource. All you got to do is put forth

  694. the effort to apply the material that he's bankrolling and God is

  695. bankrolling on the inside of you.

  696. Everything you need to renovate this thing so that the glory of

  697. God is walking around with you everywhere you go.

  698. He's like, oh, you need a little bit of love to cover up that

  699. offense. I got that.

  700. Oh, you need some peace. I got plenty of peace to cover

  701. your pain right now. All you got to do is work it,

  702. put it in your house, build your life around it.

  703. And then people like, wow, how's he do that?

  704. First, Peter chapter 2, verses one through 5.

  705. He says therefore say therefore, putting aside all malice, all

  706. deceit, all hypocrisy and envy, and all slander like newborn

  707. babes, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may

  708. grow in respects to salvation. If you have tasted the kindness

  709. of the Lord and coming to him as to a living stone which has been

  710. rejected by men, but it's choice and precious in the sight of

  711. God. You also as living stones are

  712. being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood to

  713. OfferUp spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ

  714. Jesus. I mean he wants a place that is

  715. seen in the world that when people come by you all of a

  716. sudden this house that is housing the Holy Ghost is so

  717. different from the rest of the world that you have understood

  718. that God will only take up residence in the place that is

  719. holy and pure. And Jesus put the new spirit in

  720. me that gave the Holy Spirit permission to move in.

  721. He was the great sacrifice that allowed my spirit man to come

  722. alive and for the third person of the godhead to move right in.

  723. And now the greater one. I said the how many times we

  724. quote this? Greater is that is well how you

  725. housing him, You taking the Holy Ghost to bed on the weekends and

  726. fornication. I mean you taking the Holy

  727. Spirit out and say now, I know you could get me drunk, but I'm

  728. gonna get you drunk. I got some tongues.

  729. One starts with an F There's other languages because the Holy

  730. Ghost isn't talking that, I said he didn't talking.

  731. That and people will walk by your temple.

  732. And go. That place reminds me of the

  733. temple I saw at the club last night.

  734. And that temple reminds me, you know of that person at work and

  735. you know that sorry old manager, you know, it's always

  736. complaining and stuff. And the one who's who's tasked

  737. with the building is you. One of the powerful statement

  738. that Pastor John said. He said God took the

  739. responsibility of saving your child's spirit, but as a parent

  740. it's your responsibility to save their soul.

  741. OK, now you understand it's your responsibility to help them save

  742. their soul. Because ultimately they going to

  743. have to save their own soul, just like you have to save

  744. yours. Meaning you're renewing your

  745. mind to the new person you are and the recognition that the

  746. Holy Ghost is in here. Man, when you know the Holy

  747. Ghost is in here, it changed the way you start responding all the

  748. time when you're in a real awareness, because at that

  749. point, all you. Got to do is go.

  750. What would you do? What would you do?

  751. You know he's not going to respond carnally and as I was.

  752. Going to say, well, I'm in this flesh like you.

  753. I feel it too. Let's do this still.

  754. No, he's going to respond. I mean, he's going to respond

  755. beyond your capacity because he'll be able to say, I know.

  756. Things I know, things he can talk to you and say, you know, I

  757. know things. And at this point I just want

  758. you to forgive. Because if you'll do this, I

  759. know some things, it can unlock some stuff in them, but I need

  760. you to be the first one to do it, because I know some things

  761. could also say I know some things.

  762. All that you're hearing right now.

  763. It sounds good, but it isn't coming from my round.

  764. There's manipulation with that and they're using my scripture

  765. to boot. So you just hold your course

  766. because I know some things. But I don't want you to give

  767. vocal and get frustrated and mad.

  768. You just be quiet, because I know some things.

  769. And what happens is when you yield to that, then the temple

  770. starts taking on the glory. Everything gets purified and

  771. refined. You understand, Solomon, when

  772. they laid the gold out, it was not unpurified, it had been.

  773. Tested by the fire, the dross has been pulled off and purity

  774. is covering the temple. And so the Holy Ghost could.

  775. We always want the Holy Ghost and fire, for the fire is to

  776. burn off the impurities, the impurities of your thoughts, the

  777. impurities of your flesh. And listen, it's a constant

  778. burning because your flesh and your spirit battle daily because

  779. your flesh is like, I'll take that, I'll go back to that.

  780. And you're like, no, you're never going back.

  781. And the greater is he that send me that it keep you from going

  782. back. Because I am the man of the

  783. house with the man of the house And we're going to make sure you

  784. don't take residence here. We don't have a temple that

  785. looks like the other gods. Ours is greater.

  786. So how you going to build your house because in these last

  787. days? Listen, in these last days.

  788. Wow, should I say that? Thank you, Jesus.

  789. Hallelujah. Hmm, hmm, hmm.

  790. In these last days, the Bible tells us that things will get

  791. worse in the world. Gross darkness.

  792. That's in the world. It should never have put you in

  793. fear. Ever.

  794. I don't care how bad it is, and let me just say it this way,

  795. it's not going to get any worse than the days of Noah.

  796. So my point is it can't get worse than it's already been.

  797. So don't think this a new bad that's never been.

  798. Because the Lord will come like the days of of Noah.

  799. Now when his wrath gets poured out, that'd be like the world's

  800. never experienced. Because when he did it in the

  801. flood, I mean that was quick. They drowned.

  802. What's the longest that a person can hold their breath?

  803. Well, anybody know what the record is right now?

  804. 20, maybe 20 minutes? Maybe somebody Google it real

  805. quick so I can help save your life.

  806. OK. The days of Noah says he'll come

  807. like the day. It'll be like the days of Noah,

  808. OK, they'll be eating and drinking, giving to marriage,

  809. right? They'll just be going on as if

  810. nothing's coming. But those that are like Noah the

  811. righteous, they know. It's coming.

  812. Wow. Y'all's phones are really slow.

  813. 24 minutes. All right, 24 minutes.

  814. So, OK, just so you have perspective, the most somebody

  815. would have been living when the flood hit and the waters got

  816. there and they went under. 27 minutes, 24 minutes and 37

  817. seconds. That's nothing.

  818. Compared to the tribulation that people are begging to die, just

  819. perspective. But he said in the last days

  820. people will be deceived and deceiving.

  821. So deception will be at a heightened place, which tells me

  822. if you're not a disciple. You're going to be in trouble,

  823. even if you're a believer. I preached a message in 20/17/18

  824. and 19 called equipped only for 2020 to turn out being a very

  825. different time, but it didn't take us long to find out who was

  826. applying the last three years of teaching.

  827. The good news? The majority did.

  828. There are very few people who did not.

  829. I actually only had one person leave the church because of

  830. COVID that they're thinking was I'll never assemble again.

  831. Only one person. Okay.

  832. But that means the Lord prepares you again.

  833. These moments that we're having right now are not just midweek

  834. fillings. These are in preparation for

  835. things to come. Again, one of the assignments of

  836. the Holy Ghost is to disclose things to come.

  837. And the thing of it is, is that disclosing things that come are

  838. not just coming through the gifts of the Spirit called a

  839. Word of Wisdom. They can come through the

  840. teaching of the word and subject matter that you're like, you

  841. know what? I just got into this trial and

  842. pastors been. Preaching on this and now I got

  843. plenty of things to stand on. 10 virgins are waiting on the Lord.

  844. Ten of them, and they all have oil in their lamps, all of them,

  845. and the fire is lit, but five have more oil.

  846. When they hear the bridegroom coming, they wake up, trim their

  847. lamps. The five that had more oil

  848. resupplied. The five who did not said, man,

  849. we're not going to make it. Can you give us your oil?

  850. Some of them they said can't do it won't be enough for us both.

  851. You're going to have to go back and get your own.

  852. You got to get your own and says why they were gone.

  853. The door opened. I said it's why they were gone.

  854. The door opened. The five came back and said

  855. knocked on the door and said, Lord, Lord, let us in, He's

  856. like, who are you? He said.

  857. Because I don't even know who you are now, that word means I

  858. was not intimately acquainted with you.

  859. That don't mean I don't know. I don't know of you, but I don't

  860. have a intimate relationship with you.

  861. The Lord's showing me very clearly.

  862. I'm extremely bold in this statement, very clearly, he

  863. said. Son, everything is by faith

  864. everything, nothing that you get from.

  865. Me does not come by, does not come unless by faith, period.

  866. Are you hearing what I'm saying? So healing can come to you by

  867. somebody else's faith. There are some things that God

  868. will allow other people's faith to come over to you, but then

  869. there's some things that it requires you.

  870. You know what one of those are? Being born again, I cannot have

  871. faith for your salvation. I can believe for you to be

  872. saved, but ultimately you're going to get your.

  873. But we know people today that are born again.

  874. They've confessed Jesus's Lord, but they do not by faith believe

  875. in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

  876. Whatever speak in its tongues. They're in the Kingdom.

  877. Why are they not in do with power?

  878. Why didn't it just come on them anyway?

  879. Why didn't it just fall on them anyway?

  880. Why didn't it just happen? Cause here's what's crazy is

  881. that a person not born of God can be an atmosphere of people

  882. that are are that are full of the Holy Ghost being one of

  883. those meetings where the Holy Ghost falls and they fall down

  884. under the power, but they don't yield to anything and they just

  885. fall under the power physically. They can't stand in the weight

  886. of the presence of the Lord, but yet they're still not speaking

  887. in tongues because God will not make them do something they

  888. don't yield to. We know there's people that are

  889. born again, filled with the Holy Ghost, but sick because they

  890. never renew their minds that healing is in the Kingdom.

  891. So why do we think that when a trumpet blows, everyone

  892. automatically goes? Why do we believe that?

  893. Because there are so many people that are ask Jesus in their

  894. heart and they don't think about God at all except as a CEO.

  895. Christmas and Easter only, and most of them are just an EO.

  896. Easter only. It's true and yet you're think

  897. and you're you're and you're like because and I understand

  898. the debate that takes well you're that's worse.

  899. No it's called faith. It's called faith. 10 virgins is

  900. 10 virgins. So anyone who tries to take that

  901. scripture and tell you the five virgins weren't born again,

  902. that's the law. They are pure.

  903. They're pure, but they don't get in.

  904. Now I'm not telling you they won't ultimately go, But man,

  905. I'm saying some things because we are in a we have always been

  906. from Genesis one. We've always been in the

  907. position I prove my love by obeying his word.

  908. So I sacrificed my will on how to do it.

  909. That is consistent in any covenant of God, in any

  910. dispensation of God. And it's by faith in every one

  911. of them. There's not one that doesn't

  912. exist. Not one, not one.

  913. So there's some form of crucifying something in order to

  914. live to something else. At minimum, Adam has to crucify

  915. not his flesh because he had him have sin.

  916. He just has to crucify His will and do His after the fall.

  917. Now it's crucifying and today we're in.

  918. We crucify our flesh daily. So that we walk by the Spirit.

  919. Could it be, if you're not willing to crucify your flesh

  920. today and let you and be led by the Spirit, that you find

  921. yourself left behind? And the Lord's going to say,

  922. well, we'll find out in the natural if you really love me

  923. because you, Are you going to take the mark or not?

  924. Because when you didn't have to die, all you had to do was die

  925. to yourself. You didn't do it because taking

  926. a mark is the same as what Adam does.

  927. Because the work of obedience is consistent, Adam had to obey to

  928. stay alive. Forever.

  929. So why are we in this dispensation that we know we

  930. have an advocate with a father? I get it.

  931. But that we think we can go back and practice, live, be habitual,

  932. and think of trumpet blows. And we're coming that that kind

  933. of life is discipleship, although the scripture never

  934. says it. That's called religion.

  935. It's called deception. The life I Live Today.

  936. I live by faith that the Lord shows me.

  937. Son, I made you a new spirit. You know you alive now.

  938. Then I put my spirit in you, and he bears witness with your

  939. spirit, your child of God. And you know you are now.

  940. Now, son, you know that I talk to you about things you're

  941. thinking that you need to get rid of.

  942. And you know we're talking. You know I'm talking to you, and

  943. all you got to do is yield. I can't make you do it, son.

  944. But I can empower your choice to choose me.

  945. I can cause what I say to you, come alive.

  946. And you have the power now to deny that stuff.

  947. You've always had the power to deny your will.

  948. You now have the power, through a spirit that's alive, to

  949. operate like I do and build your house, that the glory of God can

  950. be seen to the world. So these meetings, these times

  951. together are not just Fillins. They're strategic.

  952. They're necessary. Some of make you laugh or some

  953. of make you examine because God knows what's coming and you're

  954. not going to stand before Jesus and say I didn't know, I didn't

  955. know. For some he's going to say, I

  956. told you leave that other church a long time ago and you didn't

  957. listen to me, but you loved your tradition, so you have no

  958. excuse. You loved your tradition.

  959. Told you leave that church a long time ago.

  960. You know, it's really going to be shocking to most believers

  961. when they found out, when they find out that there was a

  962. church. Because I believe there are,

  963. there is a church within a I'm not going to say every

  964. community, but I will say within the vicinity that there's no

  965. excuse. And what's vicinity?

  966. Well, how far will you go for a vacation?

  967. How far will you go for a quick weekend getaway?

  968. Man, we'll run down to Disney like no problem.

  969. We'll have season passes to football games.

  970. You told my vicinity. Those people in NFL and college

  971. are die hard. They show up at the away games,

  972. they go make it to church, so they going to make it to their

  973. church and they going to pay their offerings.

  974. They don't give their tie to get their season tickets and then

  975. they going to pay their offerings through concessions.

  976. And then they going to be drunk, as we suppose, and they going to

  977. brag about it all week, about the next service they're having,

  978. and then they get depressed when the season's over and they can't

  979. assemble. Oh, y'all.

  980. Don't want to hear that kind of preacher.

  981. I get you. Oh, yeah.

  982. Hallelujah. No, I'm here.

  983. I'm going to do the little father.

  984. You know what? I want to build this house that

  985. every time I walk by anyone that's not of God, God can

  986. rattle them. That I'm never confused with a

  987. Lesser God temple. Thank you so much for listening
