  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Today I want to talk to you

  4. about Consecrated Kingdom Call. Consecrated Kingdom call.

  5. Hallelujah. I want to rehearse, review and

  6. just remind probably most of the people we have with us today.

  7. But I want to just remind you, it's good to stir our way selves

  8. up by way of remembrance. So this is kind of the appetizer

  9. before we get to the entree. Actually, I think of this is the

  10. appetizer and the dessert because I want to talk to you

  11. about the story and plan of redemption 1st and then I want

  12. to get into consecration to the call, OK.

  13. But just to remind you, by way of remembrance, I'm going to

  14. launch out from Genesis Chapter One.

  15. And verse 26 through 28. So whether you're following

  16. along in a paper Bible or on your electronic phone, it's

  17. important to pay attention at church.

  18. Amen. God has something for you today.

  19. Say God has something for me. Say, I'm not going to get

  20. distracted. All right, So don't text, Don't

  21. answer notifications. Let's pay attention.

  22. Amen. Hallelujah.

  23. Don't be like the dumb husband that's looking at his phone.

  24. Well, his wife's trying to talk to him.

  25. Hallelujah. We help you at Anchor Fay

  26. Church. Speak to the men.

  27. As the men go, so goes the house.

  28. You know it's something when you have eye contact, right?

  29. Was it communicate to God when you're not paying attention?

  30. Right. Do we honor him?

  31. Do we value him? Amen.

  32. Does he? Do you think he wants your

  33. attention this morning? Amen.

  34. Because he's got something to say to you, and the word that's

  35. going to be given to you is. Going to deposit something and

  36. you so that when you leave the building, you're impactful as a

  37. believer, as a child of God. Okay, this equips you when you

  38. come into this house for the work of service out there, all

  39. right? So in Genesis chapter one,

  40. verses 26 through 28, then God said, let us make man in our

  41. image according our likeness. Let them have dominion over the

  42. fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle

  43. and over the air. The earth and over every

  44. creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

  45. So God created man in his own image.

  46. And the image of God He created him male and female.

  47. Male and female. He created them.

  48. Female was not an afterthought in God's mind.

  49. Christianity is the only religion that actually.

  50. Elevates a woman to her rightful place.

  51. Then God bless them, and God said to them, be fruitful and

  52. multiply, fill the earth. Subdue it have dominion over

  53. fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over every living

  54. thing that moves on the earth. So the original command of God

  55. was five things in Genesis chapter one, verse #28.

  56. This is in the perfect state when there was.

  57. Man was without sin or without stain or without contaminant.

  58. God had to work for man in the earth, and He gave him five

  59. things to do. There's still five things that

  60. are He called us to do today, which is to be fruitful,

  61. multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion.

  62. All right, then we go over to Genesis chapter 2, and I want to

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  63. go to verse #15 and read verse #15 and verse #16.

  64. Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of

  65. Eden, is to tend it and to keep it in the Lord God commanded the

  66. man, saying, of every tree of the garden You may eat freely,

  67. verse 17 But of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and

  68. evil you shall not eat, for in the day you even eat of it you

  69. shall surely die. So God said to man, be fruitful,

  70. multiply, replenish of do, and have dominion.

  71. Then he actually assigned him or position, and replaced him

  72. somewhere on the earth. Amen.

  73. And he said, I want you to tend and to keep.

  74. That location that I've given you all right.

  75. But then he said, do not eat of one thing.

  76. Everything else is unrestricted. But this one thing's prohibited.

  77. So we know the story. In Genesis chapter 3, it says

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  78. verse #1. I'm going to read verse the

  79. number one through verse number. Oh, let's see.

  80. We'll read for a while. This will help you on your Bible

  81. reading plan. Now the serpent starting for

  82. someone, the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the

  83. field which the Lord God had made.

  84. And he said to the woman, has God indeed said, you shall not

  85. eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said to the

  86. serpent, We may eat at the fruit of the trees of the garden, But

  87. the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God

  88. has said, You shall not eat, nor shall you touch it, lest you

  89. die. Then the serpent said of the

  90. woman, You will not surely die, for God does know in the day you

  91. eat of it, your eyes will be opened.

  92. You will be like God, knowing good and evil.

  93. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it

  94. was pleasant to the eyes, a tree desirable to make one, why she

  95. took of its fruit and ate. She also gave her husband with

  96. her, and he also ate. Then the eyes of both of them

  97. were open, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed

  98. fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

  99. And then they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the

  100. garden of the cool the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves

  101. from the presence of Lord and among the trees of the garden.

  102. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said, where are you?

  103. So Adam said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid

  104. because I was naked. I hid myself, and God said, Who

  105. told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of

  106. which I commanded you that you should not eat?

  107. Then the man, said the woman. Whom you gave to be with me, She

  108. gave me of the tree, and I ate. Then the God said, The Lord God

  109. said to the woman, What is this that you have done?

  110. The woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

  111. Then the Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done

  112. this, you are cursed more than all the cattle and more than

  113. every beast of the field on the on your belly.

  114. You shall go, and you you shall eat.

  115. Dust all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you

  116. and the woman in between your seed and.

  117. Her seed He shall bruise your head, You shall bruise his heel.

  118. Now in verse 15 I'm reading from the new King James Version, if

  119. you look at that again. It says I will put enmity

  120. between you and the woman. He's talking to the devil,

  121. right? It says between your seed, so

  122. the seed of the enemy, and then it says her seed now.

  123. If in my Bible it's a capital S, is it a capital S in your Bible

  124. on your digital phone? See.

  125. Meaning the Lord Jesus Christ. So God went into action when man

  126. failed because God commanded man and man did what?

  127. He broke the commandment. So when you break the law, guess

  128. what? There's a penalty for breaking

  129. the law if you leave church today and you're doing 75 and a

  130. 35 and authority pulls you over. What are they going to say?

  131. You violated the speed limit. You go fast enough, you don't

  132. even get a ticket. You go to jail, right?

  133. Because you have become a menace.

  134. You have positioned yourself to become a menace or very

  135. dangerous in society because you're going too fast.

  136. So God guess. His Kingdom?

  137. There's laws within his Kingdom, and they're there for our.

  138. Benefit, just like the our U.S. government, for the most part.

  139. Tries to create laws. To help mankind, right.

  140. That's why we have stop lights are there are there not to keep

  141. you from having a good time. Yellow does not mean go really

  142. fast. Hey man, they're there.

  143. What? To really preserve, protect and

  144. keep safety. Same thing with the law of God.

  145. Why do you think you said don't commit adultery?

  146. Is that law? Still in effect today.

  147. Why? It's going to keep you from

  148. harm. It's going to keep a family from

  149. falling apart. It's going to keep the devil

  150. from getting his his access or his entry point into your life.

  151. Right now is can there be redemption in that?

  152. Yeah. But there's also consequence

  153. with sin. So God can redeem and restore.

  154. But man, it's better not. To do it, say Amen.

  155. So he said, I'm going to put in between between your seed and.

  156. And he said between your seed and her seed, talking to the

  157. seed of woman, talking about Jesus Christ.

  158. So we find in this verse that Adam and Eve were in the in

  159. these verses that they were in the perfect position, the

  160. perfect place, the perfect, perfect atmosphere with an

  161. assignment. There was a call.

  162. There was a plan. There was a purpose that God had

  163. for them before sin entered the world.

  164. Guess what? There's still a plan.

  165. There's still a call. There's still a design that God

  166. has for us today is born again. Believers, all right.

  167. But in this perfect place, they got removed from the perfect

  168. place because of sin. And it said.

  169. If you eat of the. Tree Then guess what?

  170. Death is going to happen. So there's three types of death

  171. in the Bible. All right, two of those I'm

  172. going to cover. There's a natural death and a

  173. spiritual death. Both of these happen

  174. simultaneously at this point. Now one didn't manifest till

  175. much longer. Are you with me?

  176. Spiritual death happened instantly, which means that God,

  177. if you go to back to Chad verse 7 in Genesis two said he

  178. breathed in that Adam the breath of life.

  179. So the spirit of the living God came into a holy vessel because

  180. God created him holy, and the Spirit of God lived on the

  181. inside of him, and man became a living soul.

  182. So when he when he sinned though, guess what, The Holy

  183. Spirit was taken from Adam. At that point, he would have

  184. lived forever on the earth if he would have never sinned.

  185. But since he did sin, guess what?

  186. The consequence of sin came in and he died both naturally and

  187. physically. Now, naturally, you'll read that

  188. they live for hundreds of years until the flood, right?

  189. But guess what? Natural death did happen later,

  190. but it was always a manifestation of what happened

  191. spiritually. Issues of the flesh are result

  192. of issues of the Spirit. So what's going on spiritually

  193. is going to manifest naturally. But it happened spiritually

  194. first, right? So guess what God did in His

  195. work of redemption? Like I said, this is review

  196. rehearsal reminder for most of you.

  197. But you know what? We need to stir our way.

  198. It serves up every day that we've been redeemed, if you have

  199. been redeemed. The Bible says let the redeem to

  200. the Lord say so. This is the year of reigning

  201. resonance. One of your confessions every

  202. day should be God. I'm redeemed.

  203. What does redeem mean? Well, guess what?

  204. When? Um.

  205. They broke the commandment Adam and Eve.

  206. They gave dominion to the devil. 2nd Corinthians 4 four says the

  207. devil's the God of this world. How did the devil get the right

  208. to be the God of this world? Because Adam and Eve were in

  209. charge or an authority on this earth and when they blew it,

  210. they gave the authority to the one they blew it towards, which

  211. is the devil. But thank God there's a work of

  212. redemption in Jesus Christ. Redemption means this releasing

  213. affected by payment of ransom. Deliverance and liberation.

  214. I'll say that definition again. Released and affected by payment

  215. of ransom. Deliverance and liberation.

  216. So in the work of redemption, when man fell, he need to be

  217. restored to his position or his place with God.

  218. And there's only one person that could do that.

  219. Cuz sent, tainted, sent, contaminated, the spirit of man,

  220. and therefore fellowship was broken.

  221. Spiritually speaking now to God in the Old Testament, he passed

  222. over things through the Tabernacle and the things that

  223. he set up. But guess what He said.

  224. There's going to come up my seed in the earth that's going to

  225. once and for all pay the redemption for mankind.

  226. So let's go to the New Testament Romans, chapter 3, verses 21

    Romans 3:21–24

  227. through 24. Romans chapter 3 verses 21

    Romans 3:21–24

  228. through 24. But now the righteousness of God

  229. apart from the laws revealed, being witnessed by the law and

  230. the prophets, even the righteousness of God through

  231. faith in Jesus Christ to all and and all who believe.

  232. For there is no difference all of sin and fallen short of the

  233. glory of God, but being. Justified freely by His grace

  234. through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

  235. Ephesians chapter one, verse #7. In him Jesus we have redemption

  236. through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to

  237. the riches of His grace. What Adam lost when you call on

  238. the name of the Lord is restored because of the finished work and

  239. because of the blood of Jesus. Colossians chapter one.

  240. I really like this one verses 13 through 14.

  241. I'm going to read this in the Amplified Bible for He which is

  242. Jesus has rescued us, we could say redeemed us and has drawn us

  243. to himself from the dominion of darkness and has transferred us

  244. into the Kingdom of His beloved Son and whom we have redemption

  245. because of Jesus sacrifice resulting in.

  246. The forgiveness of sin and the cancellation of sins penalty.

  247. Who I like that. Let me say that again.

  248. The last part of that we have because of the work of

  249. redemption, the forgiveness of sins and the cancellation of

  250. sins penalty. Hallelujah.

  251. Romans chapter 5 verses 12 through 17.

    Romans 5:12–17

  252. Therefore, just as through one man, sin enter the world.

  253. And through death through sin, And thus death spread to all

  254. men, because all sin. For until the law sin was in the

  255. world, but sin is not imputed where there is no law.

  256. Nevertheless, death reign from Adam to Moses, even though even

  257. over those who had not sinned, according to the likeness of the

  258. transgression of Adam, who is a type, who is a type of him who

  259. it was to come. But the free gift is not like

  260. the offense. For if by the one man's offense

  261. many died much more by the grace of God, and the gift by the

  262. grace of the one man, Jesus Christ abounded to many.

  263. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who

  264. sinned. For the judgment which came from

  265. the one offense resulted in condemnation.

  266. But the free gift, which came from many offenses, resulted in

  267. justification for if by one's man offense, death reign through

  268. the one. Much more, those who receive

  269. abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in

  270. life through the one Jesus Christ.

  271. This just summarized Genesis Two and Three talking about the

  272. transgression of Adam and the restoration through Jesus for.

  273. Those that have made Jesus Lord, I want to go to Romans chapter

    Romans 10:9–10

  274. 10, verses 9 through 10, Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 10.

    Romans 10:9–10

  275. This says that if you, you confess.

  276. With your mouth. The Lord Jesus and believe in

  277. your heart that God has raised him from the dead you will be

  278. saved, for with the heart, with the heart one believes under

  279. righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto

  280. salvation. Hebrews Chapter 9, verse 22, the

    Hebrews 9:22

  281. latter. Part of the verse says without

  282. the. Shedding of blood there's no

  283. remission of. Sins.

  284. So I say this today, Church. Is there anybody in this

  285. sanctuary day that has not made Jesus Lord or experienced the

  286. redemption, the ransom payment that he made for you?

  287. It's a free gift. All you have to do is call.

  288. On the name of the Lord Jesus And guess what?

  289. You will be saved. Anybody in the sanctuary today

  290. want to make Jesus Lord right now?

  291. Anyone. I'm looking.

  292. Left to right. We don't have to have an ultra

  293. call at the end. This is how I thought the Holy

  294. Ghost wanted me to do it today. Anyone.

  295. Well, I'm going to have. We're going to do a confession

  296. together, all right? Just because it's the right

  297. thing to do. Say this with me.

  298. Say Heavenly Father. I believe Jesus is the Lamb of

  299. God that takes away. The sins of the world and the

  300. penalty of sin. I believe that Adam fell because

  301. he disobeyed the word of God. But in Jesus the payment has

  302. been made for me to get back into your Kingdom, and I declare

  303. that Jesus Christ is Lord. I receive His payment.

  304. I receive His finished work. I receive His blood.

  305. That's on the mercy seat. I believe it came this earth.

  306. He walked it. For 33 years he was crucified.

  307. Died, was buried but resurrected on the third day, and now he has

  308. ascended. He's seated at the right hand of

  309. the father. And the word says whoever calls

  310. on his name will be saved. I thank you.

  311. I'm redeemed in Jesus name. Amen.

  312. Hallelujah. So this message is specific then

  313. to those that believe that that have done that.

  314. This message is consecrated Kingdom Coal.

  315. I I want this tile it Now what? Now what?

  316. Meaning that was awesome. What a liberation, what a

  317. freedom, what a work that he did for us.

  318. What a gratefulness. When when we're at PCI.

  319. Just want to relate this real quick.

  320. We are at PCI Putnam Correction Institute.

  321. Well, it's been August now. Last month and we had a Kingdom

  322. rise first, Kingdom rise conference we did in there and I

  323. was able to look at those inmates and it was a powerful

  324. time of ministry that we had to to bring the Kingdom of God to

  325. them. Because the Bible says we're

  326. taken out of 1 Kingdom, the Kingdom of darkness and brought

  327. into the Kingdom of light. And you know what the Kingdom of

  328. light isn't when you die. The Kingdom of light happens

  329. when you give your life to God through Jesus.

  330. And you're when you say Jesus, your Lord, you know what Lord

  331. means in the in the Greek, Greek was the what the new testimony

  332. is written in. It means he's the master.

  333. He's the owner. Let me let me say it this way.

  334. He has the final decision for my life.

  335. I really like this definition. That means he's the possessor

  336. and the dispossessor. Of a thing he possesses me, but

  337. by his ownership he has a right to tell me whatever I need to

  338. do. And whatever God says out of

  339. love is going to be for the greatest benefit for my life and

  340. the others around me. Whatever God says for me to do

  341. is going to be for the greatest benefit for my life and those

  342. around me. Let me say it one more time,

  343. Whatever God, Jesus, the Lord Jesus Christ says for you to do

  344. is going to be for the greatest benefit for your life and for

  345. those that are around you. So we're not PCI, you know?

  346. It was an amazing I I wish I could just summarize everybody

  347. from you know Josh pastor Earl Roth everybody we had some

  348. chance to minister there was is great but I I got to look at

  349. those inmates and I got to say this is all of you're in here

  350. for a reason because you violated or broke the law and

  351. you're guilty as charged. Now, some fight it, some say I'm

  352. not guilty, you know, whatever the circumstances.

  353. But the fact is they had enough evidence.

  354. That a verdict was passed by a judge to say you were guilty,

  355. right. But I I said this to them so

  356. that the payment has to be made. If you did this crime.

  357. There's a duration associated with that time that a judge

  358. ultimately determines. It could be two to four years,

  359. but ultimately it's going to determine this.

  360. This is what satisfies or pays for the crime that you did.

  361. So I got to relate to them and I pray this sticks with you.

  362. Is what Jesus did for the US is we were guilty and there was a

  363. penalty passed and it it was for a lifetime.

  364. If you do not know Jesus, guess what, You are separated from the

  365. Father. Eventually you'll be in hell if

  366. you don't receive him. That's the the final verdict on

  367. it, right? But I told those inmates that,

  368. listen, it's like Jesus coming in here and saying you committed

  369. murder. It's a lifetime penalty.

  370. But I'm actually going in into the cell for you and letting you

  371. walk free. What?

  372. Imagine that that happened in your life.

  373. Would you be? Disrespectful or dishonorable to

  374. the person that traded places with you.

  375. How could you, if you did commit murder, want to go do that again

  376. and get right back into the same place even though he paid the

  377. price for you? No, you would go out a free

  378. person saying I am never thank God for the one what?

  379. Jesus is the one that liberated us.

  380. And I'm telling your life can be honorable and grateful and

  381. thankful consistently what he's done.

  382. And that's why. Consecration.

  383. To his call is so important. There's a purpose of plan of

  384. design that he has for you once you're born again.

  385. That's why I said, now what? Now that now that it's settled,

  386. there's a plan that we go to participate.

  387. If you just read the Bible, say, read the Bible, read the Bible,

  388. say I'm reading the Bible. Now, for some of you that may be

  389. a confession of faith. Some of you that may be a

  390. witness or testimony that I am reading the Bible.

  391. Either way, say read the Bible. There there are stories of great

  392. men and women, the earth. And guess what Their attitude

  393. was never it's settled when I get there.

  394. They, always, the great men and women, always had a relationship

  395. and an assignment. That God gave them I We could

  396. cover so many people. I could go to Hebrews 11 right

  397. now, which is the Hall of Fame of Faith.

  398. There there's sixteen men and women mentioned specifically in

  399. that chapter but but it alludes to many others because it says

  400. time would fail me to tell of all the others that through

  401. actions of faith they subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness.

  402. You know, some somebody want to be resurrected because they they

  403. knew that was going to be a greater glory because they were

  404. martyred for the gospel. But there was always an

  405. assignment with every man and woman of God.

  406. And guess what? God has not changed his mind.

  407. There's a plan for. Today, Matthew, Chapter 22,

    Matthew 22 chapter mention

  408. verse #14, I'm going to give you this thought.

  409. Then read, What are you going to do with the time you have left

  410. that God's given you? Some of us have more time than

  411. others. Hallelujah.

  412. I don't ever say I'm killing time.

  413. Can we eradicate that from our vocabulary right now?

  414. Church, I'm trying to help you out Now.

  415. You may be resting, but rest on purpose, but you're never

  416. killing time. I'm always investing time.

  417. Everybody has 168 hours in a week.

  418. What are you doing with the time that God's giving you?

  419. Time is really an investment. Time is really more important

  420. than money. God can, let me put this way,

  421. redeem time. Amen.

  422. Matthew 2214 says many are called, but few are chosen.

  423. Where are you at in this verse? Many are called.

  424. That means I heard a call for redemption.

  425. I've submitted and surrender my life to Jesus.

  426. But now what called? But many are called but few.

  427. Are chosen. Listen called means this.

  428. It means that your God has called you to an office.

  429. Or he could put this way, he's when I say office, I'll say a

  430. position or a place. This is your homework

  431. assignment, OK? Because if I give you all the

  432. answers, learning stops. First Corinthians, chapter 12.

    1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention

  433. Read that whole thing this week. This is a picture of the body of

  434. Christ. OK And and it great.

  435. Read it in the Message Bible. Read it in a couple different

  436. translations. Some of you have over over

  437. achievers. Read in five different

  438. translations. Amen.

  439. Because you need to see yourself in that.

  440. I had Ricky get me a pin, but I'm going to say this now.

  441. Hallelujah. But this goes with some of my

  442. takeaways. At the end of the of the sermon

  443. yesterday, I told you there was some college football games

  444. right now. I could care less about it.

  445. It's it's a fun little thing to watch.

  446. I got my team, but in the grand scheme of life.

  447. Somebody asked me on Friday, they said about Saturday.

  448. And this isn't just just bragged, they said.

  449. I forget what they said they said.

  450. Something about. I hope it goes.

  451. Well, tomorrow night and I'm thinking, what's going on?

  452. That was there. Is there a church thing going

  453. on? I was trying to remember what

  454. was going on. Am I missing?

  455. I was like, I thought Saturday's pretty open, but it was the

  456. Buckeyes are playing Notre Dame and I totally blanked out

  457. because I'm going to root for the Buckeyes.

  458. I'm from Columbus so that but it it just it did.

  459. I knew the game was coming. I wanted to watch it obviously,

  460. but I was not geared thinking about that at that moment.

  461. I was thinking I don't want to miss out was.

  462. Like his Caleb club. Going on or something.

  463. Like but I thought was a church related event.

  464. That I thought I forgot about. I'm like, wow, But it dawned on

  465. me, but the game doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of

  466. thing. But the the take away does so

  467. that in that game, whether you're a Notre Dame fan or a

  468. Buckeye fan. At the end that game, when it

  469. comes to the amount of players they allow on the field at one

  470. time, how many is that? 11.

  471. So this game was a tight game, is 14 to 10.

  472. There's about 17 seconds left, the Buckeye said third and 19.

  473. And they they throw the quarterback throws.

  474. They're they're about 20 yards. Roughly from from the end zone,

  475. right? So they they need a touchdown to

  476. win the game with about 17 seconds.

  477. They throw a pass. The receiver catches it about

  478. 1/2 a yard short of the goal line.

  479. Everybody know what a goal line is.

  480. That's where they scare a touchdown in points.

  481. You get points. GP, are you with me?

  482. Anybody from like early 90s, if you don't pray in the Holy

  483. Ghost, maybe got to reveal who that author is to you.

  484. So anyways there's that they have no timeouts left.

  485. So they the the quarterback runs down, you know and then the

  486. clock is ticking right and so he runs down.

  487. He's when you throw the ball down it stops the clock.

  488. So they they have 3 seconds left, right and they need a

  489. touchdown to win. So I'm like, actually Don's

  490. texting me, but I I don't like to watch the game in its

  491. entirety and I don't like to know the score.

  492. I let it play. And then I can Fast forward

  493. because I don't want to do the commercials, spend 3 hours

  494. watching the game. So even though, you know I'm a

  495. Buckeye fan, don't text me the score.

  496. It ruins the moment. I'll forgive you if you do, but

  497. that's just how I how I'm built. I let the game get way ahead and

  498. then I can just go through in an hour not to spend 3 hours.

  499. So anyways, the Buckeyes punch it in.

  500. They score. They win the game.

  501. But I found out this morning, you know what happened.

  502. Notre Dame, even though you have 11 players on the field, they

  503. went back and they counted the last two players.

  504. They only had ten players on the field.

  505. So that gave them a disadvantage to actually stop, right?

  506. But I got to think about that. The church many are called, but

  507. few are chosen. And if you're missing your

  508. place, it could cost the team. Pastor April said victory.

  509. Well, you know victory means you being in your position.

  510. If we need 11 people and there's only 10 because you fail to

  511. consecrate to the call, we could lose.

  512. Amen. Jeremiah, chapter 29, verse #11.

    Jeremiah 29 chapter mention

  513. So God needs you in place. God is faithful.

  514. If you fail to choose to consecrate and let me define

  515. consecration for you. It's a term that the world could

  516. use too. You know, Jesus didn't use terms

  517. that people couldn't understand. He wasn't making up new

  518. language, right. But when I I'm geared, I'll say

  519. this right now, they're going to put quotes up.

  520. Well, I'll get there in a second.

  521. Consecration means you're set apart.

  522. We'll just simply, it means dedicated.

  523. You know what happens every four years When it comes to athletes,

  524. there's the Olympics. That's what consecration is.

  525. Those athletes, guess what? They do what we're not doing,

  526. which is when I say that jokingly, I mean like, I'm not

  527. training to, you know, I always want to do that one little sport

  528. because I wonder how much were they?

  529. They shoved the thing and it. The brush guy, you know, I'm

  530. talking about, what's it called? Yeah, I'm thinking, how much

  531. technique is in that, right? Oh, I pulled a hamstring.

  532. I'm not making fun of the curl either.

  533. But Bradley, you're going to have to edit that yourself.

  534. So, but what do they do? They dedicate themselves.

  535. Are they, you know, just eating, Whatever, whenever.

  536. Do they have a coach, somebody that's maybe been somewhere,

  537. done something that they haven't done, that has knowledge?

  538. Listen guys, there's a there's church.

  539. I'm going to tell you, there's a lot.

  540. We live in a technology age right now and it's great, but

  541. there's a lot of information out there and all information is not

  542. good information. What the church needs is

  543. knowledge. There's a difference between

  544. knowledge and information. You could be an information

  545. junkie, but really, in the Jewish concept, knowledge really

  546. to get to it, the Bible's Adam said he knew his wife, which was

  547. intimacy, right? Right.

  548. Knowledge means you really knows.

  549. I mean it's applied to your life information.

  550. You just got a bunch of facts. Knowledge means you actually

  551. applying truth. So a coach, guess what?

  552. They're going to They're going to challenge you.

  553. They're going to watch your form, your technique.

  554. They're going to keep you accountable.

  555. We'll get some of these other things later.

  556. I'm kind of getting ahead myself, but it's worth

  557. repeating. So, Jeremiah, chapter 29, verse

    Jeremiah 29 chapter mention

  558. #11. The whole thing about that

  559. consecration means you're dedicated.

  560. Many are called but fewer chosen.

  561. How do I get from call to chosen?

  562. Chosen means this, your choice your select you're the best of

  563. its kind or class. When you How do you go from

  564. called to chosen? It's called dedication.

  565. How do you go from called to chosen?

  566. It's called dedication. If you want to be choice or

  567. select or of the best kind, It takes dedication.

  568. Now that you're redeemed. Now what?

  569. Now it's a dedicated life unto God.

  570. He paid the price. I should be so grateful every

  571. day to think that he went in that prison for me and release

  572. me. And now I have a liberated life

  573. from the devil. I'm in the Kingdom of God and I

  574. can make an impact and a difference.

  575. I get to tell other people about what he did for me that are in

  576. the Dominion darkness. Rescue them out, get them on

  577. their feet cleaned up and get them in their place because we

  578. don't want anybody falling behind.

  579. If somebody needs redeemed and they're the 11th person on the

  580. team, but we only have 10 players, you could snatch them

  581. out, get them connected with Anchor Faith Church.

  582. Then they get equipped to get in the place that God wanted them

  583. to be. Jeremiah 2911 says.

  584. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.

  585. They are plans, for good and not for disaster, to give you a

  586. future and a hope. Romans chapter 8.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  587. Verse #28 says for we know that God causes everything to work

  588. together for the good of those who love God and are called

  589. according to his purpose. For them, you know it's.

  590. His purpose? It's not my plan.

  591. It's those that love God. How do you know that you love

  592. God? The Bible says if you obey his

  593. commands, that proves or demonstrates that you love him.

  594. If you obey his commands, if God says to forgive, forgive,

  595. forgive, Right. I want to be obedient to his

  596. commands. That shows that I love him.

  597. So if you love God, there's going to be an evidence through

  598. obedience and it says that we are called then according to his

  599. purpose. I want to be in God's purpose,

  600. not my own purpose or plan. I want to give you this verse

  601. where I move on to some other scriptures.

  602. Galatians chapter 2, verse #20. I'm going to read this from two

    Galatians 2 chapter mention

  603. different translations. Now what?

  604. Now that you've been redeemed, I love what Paul says in these

  605. verses. What are you going to do?

  606. He said I have been crucified with Christ is no longer I that

  607. live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the

  608. flesh. I live by faith by the Son of

  609. God who loved me and gave himself for me.

  610. Now another translation says it this way.

  611. I consider myself as having died and now enjoying a second

  612. existence, which is simply Jesus using my body.

  613. I have died. The old man, the unregenerate,

  614. the one that was in the Kingdom of darkness, now has been

  615. translated in the Kingdom of light, and now it's just simply

  616. the word of God using my body. Amen.

  617. In Matthew chapter 25. I'm going to start in verse #14,

    Matthew 25 chapter mention

  618. Matthew 25. This is the parable of the

  619. talents, and the word says this. This is a Kingdom message

  620. starting in verse #14 for the. Kingdom of heaven is like a man

  621. traveling to a far country, called his own servants and

  622. delivered his goods to them. Whose goods were they?

  623. His. The masters?

  624. So guess what? When you get born again, guess

  625. what? He put something on the inside

  626. of you. He places something on the

  627. inside of you and to one he gave 5 talents, to another two and

  628. another one to each according his own ability and immediately

  629. he went on a journey. Then he would receive the final

  630. talents, went and traded with him and made another 5 talents

  631. and likewise he had received 2 talents, made two more.

  632. But he would. Receive one went, dug it in the

  633. ground, and hit his Lord's money.

  634. After a long time the Lord of those servants came and settled

  635. accounts with them, so he. Who had received 5 towns, came

  636. and brought five other towns. Saying Lord, you delivered to me

  637. 5 talents. Look, I have gained 5 more

  638. talents besides them his Lord said him well done, good and

  639. faithful servant. You were faithful over a few

  640. things. I will make you roll over many

  641. things. Enter into the joy of the Lord.

  642. Verse 22. He also had he.

  643. He also had received 2 talents, Came and said, Lord, you

  644. delivered to me two talents. Look, I've gained 2 more also.

  645. Verse 23 His Lord said, I'm well done, good and faithful servant.

  646. You have been faithful over a few things.

  647. I'll make you ruler over many things.

  648. Enter into the joy the Lord. Verse 24 Then he had received

  649. the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you to be a hard

  650. man. Reaping where you have not sewn,

  651. and gathering where you have not scattered seed, I was afraid,

  652. and went hit your town in the ground.

  653. Look, there you have what is yours.

  654. But his Lord answered and said to him, You wicked and lazy

  655. servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sewn together,

  656. where I have not a scattered seed.

  657. You ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at

  658. my coming I would have at least received back mine.

  659. With interest, therefore, take the town from him who gave to

  660. it, it to him and and give who had 10 talents.

  661. For everyone who has more will be given, and he will have

  662. abundance, but from him who does not have, even what he has will

  663. be taken away. From him and cast that

  664. unprofitable servant enter the outer darkness of the weeping

  665. and and gnashing of teeth. So God gives everybody goods to

  666. work with. Talents.

  667. I'll say this Giftings. God has put a gift on the inside

  668. of you. Hallelujah.

  669. God has put a gift He's deposited on the inside of you.

  670. A gift. And what are you doing with what

  671. he's put on the inside of you now?

  672. What are you doing? Are you letting Jesus use your

  673. body to the glory of God? There will be a day when there's

  674. going to come and account for what you did with your life. 2nd

  675. Corinthians chapter 5, verse #10, Second Corinthians was

  676. written to the church, right? So there's two judgments that

  677. take place. There's the Great White Throne

  678. judgment. The Great White Throne judgment

  679. is for those that have never made Jesus Lord.

  680. They will at that judgment seat. They will be separated eternally

  681. from God because they never made Jesus Christ Lord.

  682. But then there's also the judgment.

  683. Seat of Christ are you with me? There's the judgment Seat of

  684. Christ and 2nd Corinthians chapter 5, which this is written

  685. to the church at Corinth. So these are born again.

  686. Believers. Verse #10 says we must all

  687. appear before the judgment. Seat of Christ.

  688. That everyone. May receive the things done in

  689. the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

  690. So guess what? There's the great white throne

  691. Judgment. But for born again believers,

  692. there's a judgment seat of. Christ is going to be an

  693. evaluation on your life now that you're redeemed.

  694. Now what are you consecrated to the Kingdom call?

  695. That's. Good.

  696. First Corinthians chapter Three First Corinthians chapter 3.

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  697. Say I'm listening. I'm listening.

  698. Say, Lord speak. Speak First Corinthians chapter

    1 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  699. 3, verse #1. We're going to read down through

  700. verse #15 now just to set this up contextually real quick.

  701. Paul wrote this letter from his initial visit.

  702. Within a period of four to seven years, he had three missionary

  703. journeys. Corinth was one of the church

  704. that he founded. He followed up with this letter

  705. upon founding the church to see how they were doing.

  706. He was he was getting communication of what was going

  707. on in their lives. It was really a lot of messed up

  708. church. He had to bring instruction and

  709. correction. Say I love instruction and

  710. correction. You mean that so four to seven

  711. years. But guess what, Paul?

  712. I'm going to read it Expected for them to do from the time

  713. they got redeemed. Was be consecrated to the call.

  714. So I brother, when I came to you to speak to you, I could not do

  715. the spiritual people, but as carnal as to babes in Christ, I

  716. fed you with me milk and not with solid food, for until now

  717. you're not able to receive it, and even now you're still not

  718. able, for you're still carnal. For where there are envy,

  719. strife, divisions among you, are you not carnal, behaving like

  720. just natural men? For one, one says I'm appalled

  721. and another says I'm appalled us.

  722. Are you not carnal or just fleshly?

  723. Who then is Paul? And who is Apollos, but

  724. ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to

  725. each one. I planted Apollos water, but God

  726. gave the increase. So neither he who plants, nor he

  727. who waters is anything but God who gives the increase.

  728. Now he who plants and Hugh waters are one, and each one

  729. will receive his reward according to his own labor.

  730. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field.

  731. You are God's building. According to the grace of God

  732. which was given to me as a wise master builder, I have laid the

  733. foundation and another builds on it.

  734. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.

  735. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is

  736. laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now, if anyone builds on this

  737. foundation, Jesus. With gold, silver, precious

  738. stones, wood, hay, and straw, each one's work will become

  739. clear, for the day will declare it, because it will be revealed

  740. by fire, and the fire will test each one's work of what sort it

  741. is. If anyone's work which he has

  742. built on it endures, he will receive.

  743. A reward If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss,

  744. but he himself will be saved yet, as through the Fire 6

  745. materials that Paul says things could be built with, their life

  746. could be built with. Right.

  747. He talks about gold, silver, precious stones, but wood, hay

  748. and stubble. So now what?

  749. This is the judgment seat of Christ.

  750. It's going to be a day where God's going to say what did I

  751. do? What did you do with the

  752. minutes, the hours, the weeks, the months, the years that I

  753. gave you? Did you do my assignment?

  754. Now, this isn't overly complicated.

  755. I'm going to simplify this a little bit before we get some

  756. more scriptures. If you're born a man, you are a

  757. man. If you're born a woman, then you

  758. are a. Woman.

  759. Like that. Praise the Lord.

  760. So what are you doing with your manhood?

  761. What are you doing with your womanhood?

  762. Right. You could put those quotes up,

  763. guys. Where purpose is not known,

  764. Abuse is inevitable. Many men and, I could say, many

  765. women, but I I tend to lean. Towards the man stronger.

  766. Not that as it does go for both genders.

  767. Where your purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable, meaning

  768. it's incapable of being avoided. If you don't know your purpose

  769. as a man or a woman, you're going to misuse it.

  770. You're going to put it to a wrong and improper use.

  771. If you don't know your purpose, now your purpose, you can find

  772. it where your passion and your pain intersect.

  773. The reason I start with manhood first is because I have a

  774. passion to be a man. That's why pastorals assign me

  775. to the men's ministry. There's a certain lane or a

  776. certain gifting or certain assignment that God's placed

  777. within me. I don't have so much of A

  778. passion to be an entrepreneurial right.

  779. I don't have so much of A passion to be in politics,

  780. right? But there's certain passions I

  781. have. It pains me to see a man out of

  782. their place. Right.

  783. Because I know if if the the heart of a man is turned to

  784. Lord, then their heart of their children is going to be turned

  785. to the to the man, and there's going to be healing.

  786. But if it's not the Bible says Malka, there's going to be a

  787. curse in the earth. So it pains me to know that.

  788. The what the divorce rate is right now because I know there's

  789. a remedy. I know there's a solution.

  790. I know there's a truth to it. To.

  791. To free and deliberate and to make this successful.

  792. Who created? The marriage concept.

  793. Who perverts it? The devil.

  794. Now he does that in many ways. It could be with pornography, it

  795. could be with confusion. But he tries to break up the

  796. home, right. So it pains me to see a man, but

  797. I got a passion to see have a man be in his place.

  798. I have a. Passion for fitness.

  799. It pains me to watch people at the gym sometimes.

  800. Sometimes I say that's interesting.

  801. Some people would completely misuse a machine.

  802. I mean, like that was for your arms, not your legs.

  803. Seriously, these things happen. So it pains me.

  804. It it pains me and my my wife and I both have a heart for the

  805. family, which you know, in general everybody's a heart for

  806. the family that. It pains us when we're out in

  807. public sometimes. I was just in Walmart, which is

  808. its own Mission field, about a week 1/2 ago.

  809. And little Johnny, they had just built a brand new like.

  810. Fast food restaurant used to be Subway, I think.

  811. Now it's Charlie's and this kid is throwing a fit, screaming at

  812. the top of their lungs. I'm like, Oh my goodness, this

  813. is this is a pain. Like I want to go spank his

  814. bottom. You know, and throwing a fit

  815. because he didn't get what he wanted.

  816. That's what an immature male does.

  817. Now. Our temper chance may be a

  818. little different, but it's still there when we don't get what we.

  819. All right, you can say Amen or me, but it's true.

  820. So your passion is where your pain.

  821. Your purpose, where your passion, your pain intersect.

  822. Some people are passionate it in the political arena, right or

  823. there. Or say the public education

  824. arena. Really.

  825. We're called Let me Let me give this to you, Matthew, Chapter

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  826. 28. If you're taking notes, you can

  827. write it down. A BCDEFGABCDEFG.

  828. And no, we're not reviewing the alphabet to make sure that you

  829. know it. But it's how it memorizes and

  830. sticks with me. So I pray it sticks with you and

  831. Matthew. Chapter 28.

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  832. There's two great commissions in the Bible, ones found in Mark

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  833. Chapter 16 and ones found in Matthew, Chapter 28.

    Matthew 28 chapter mention

  834. Now what? Consecrated to the call, right?

  835. Sorry, that's the wrong Commission.

  836. Matthew 28 is one of them. I want to go to Mark 16.

  837. Yep, so mark 16 verses 14 through 15.

    Mark 16:14–15

  838. I'm going to read this later. He appeared to them, Jesus to 11

  839. as they sat at the table. He rebuked their unbelief in

  840. hardness and heart because they did not believe those who had

  841. seen him after he had risen. He said to.

  842. Them going to all the world and preach the gospel to every

  843. creature. What are we to do?

  844. Going to all the world now? The word world in the New

  845. Testaments. The word word cosmos.

  846. Where we get arrangement. Systems and I had you write down

  847. a BCDFG because in any society, these sectors of systems or

  848. arrangements can be found in any historically any civilization.

  849. A is arts, B is business, C is congregations, D is what we call

  850. direct media, G is government, E is education, and F is Family.

  851. You got that? A is Arts.

  852. B is business, C is congregations, D is direct

  853. media, E is education, G is government, and F is family.

  854. So when I when he says going all the world, guess what?

  855. Now that you're redeemed, he has an assignment for you.

  856. Start off being the best man or woman you can.

  857. It starts in the home and then it trickles.

  858. As a husband and wife, if you're married, guess what?

  859. Be the best husband or the best wife you can be.

  860. And let me just let me just liberate you in this sense.

  861. If your husband or wife is not living up to what you think they

  862. should be living up to, switch your focus at that bema seat.

  863. God is not going to judge. You based upon what your spouse

  864. did or didn't do. Are you with me?

  865. He's going to judge you on what you did or didn't do.

  866. There's a way to win over a spouse.

  867. The Bible talks about it. The First Peter 3 Ephesians 5.

  868. Just going to give you a few chapters there that you can dive

  869. into to find out how to win over.

  870. But so many times we go to counseling session and.

  871. This is the list of everything they're not doing.

  872. And I got to remind them what? What are you doing now?

  873. Do I condone or permit? Absolutely not.

  874. If they're acting a fool, I'll call them foolish, but it still

  875. don't change your place or your position on your role.

  876. It's quiet now. You could leave and say that

  877. wasn't for me, but you're not going to be liberated because

  878. only truth sets you free. Sermons don't set you free.

  879. Truth set you free. Let me put this way, applied

  880. truth will set you free. So quit looking at your spouse,

  881. getting the word, and say OK, what happens if you start to

  882. change one. You'll know that when God calls

  883. you on that day. Now listen, I know your husband

  884. was Freddie the freak. I'm being very exaggerated, but

  885. you held your place and your position.

  886. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

  887. Right? At the best though you position

  888. can go. Guess what could win them over?

  889. Hallelujah. I'm going to give you a quick

  890. testimony. I learned this.

  891. From reading Doctor Cole's material, so it's a secondhand

  892. witness to it, but it's true nonetheless.

  893. This is an adult conversation. Some will keep it general, but

  894. there was a lady that was coming to church, coming to church, and

  895. the spouse wasn't the husband. What he liked to do is be not

  896. shave on Sundays, drink alcohol and watch NFL.

  897. So she would come to church, get filled up, go home, and guess

  898. what? She'd be real agitated when she

  899. got home. And have kind of a holier than

  900. thou attitude be frustrated and rightfully so because what he's

  901. not in place or position. But Ed Cole came to town to do a

  902. men's conference and then he admitted and missed her next

  903. Sunday. So she went up and just kind of

  904. unloaded about how much of her husband was a jerk.

  905. And he said, you know what you need to do when you go home

  906. instead of being holier than thou go home and take.

  907. Perform the benefit of being married.

  908. I'm looking this way. I know the voice.

  909. And so you know what? She went home.

  910. I'm keeping this general and performed the benefit and then

  911. told the husband. It's the pastor that told me to

  912. do this. Guess what happened next Sunday?

  913. He said. I want to meet the pastor that

  914. told my wife. To perform the benefit.

  915. Say Amen. So just keep your position.

  916. Hallelujah, Church is. So those quotes put them back

  917. up. You either live by default or

  918. design. Anybody had their clock or their

  919. you, their oven go out when the power goes out.

  920. What's it do? Resets at 12:00, right?

  921. That's living by default. When something traumatic

  922. happens, or something stressful, or an affliction, do you go back

  923. to default or are you pressing on the things of God?

  924. So when the power goes out, so to speak, in your life, are you

  925. are you blinking 12? Did you fall off the turnip

  926. truck or did you realize, God, you're going to get some glory

  927. out of this? I'm consecrated to the call.

  928. I found this out in lifting because I told you have a

  929. passion for fitness for for family, right?

  930. I found this out in lifting though, because there's a lot of

  931. parallels between what Paul ministered that we can take in a

  932. natural but applies spiritually. And you don't get stronger

  933. unless there's some resistance when it comes in the natural,

  934. that's. True.

  935. Go with me to Judges. We're going to go to Judges

  936. Chapter 33. Before we go there, I want to.

  937. I want to give you a few more scriptures.

  938. Hallelujah. I'm going to go First Timothy

  939. 414, First through 15, First Timothy chapter 4, verses 14

    1 Timothy 4:14–15

  940. through 15. Do not neglect the gift that is

  941. in you. Do not neglect the gift that is

  942. in you. Do not neglect the gift that is

  943. in you. Romans chapter one, verse #11.

  944. This is written to the church. I long to see you that I may

  945. impart you some spiritual gift so that you would be

  946. established. I long to see you, Paul said.

  947. Because I want to impart some spiritual gift that you'd be

  948. established. First Corinthians 17, so that

  949. you come short. No gift, eagerly waiting for the

  950. waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  951. First Peter Chapter 4, verse #10, as each one has received a

    1 Peter 4 chapter mention

  952. gift. Minister it to 1 another's good

  953. stewards of the manifold grace of God.

  954. The word gift means this. It denotes extraordinary power.

  955. It distinguishes, distinguishes Christians in their services,

  956. and also says it enables them to serve in the body of Christ.

  957. So what's the gift that God's placed on the inside of us?

  958. It's the extraordinary powers. I'll put it this way.

  959. He puts his supernatural on your natural You're never going to be

  960. the best man, the best woman, the best parent.

  961. You're never going to be best hitting those sectors of society

  962. without the anointing of God. So he takes his supernatural and

  963. puts it on your natural and guess what?

  964. It becomes a God glorifying gift.

  965. Hebrews chapter 12 verses one through 2.

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  966. Says this therefore. Now I read earlier Hebrews

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  967. Chapter 11 about all the great men and women in the Hall of

  968. Fame of Faith. It says, therefore, since we are

  969. surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside

  970. every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us

  971. run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking under

  972. Jesus. The author and the finisher for

  973. finisher of our faith, who, for the joy that was set before him,

  974. he endured the cross, despising the shame.

  975. And it sat. Down at the right hand of of the

  976. throne of God, now that that we're in this race, it says it

  977. strip off every weight and sin. What's a weight?

  978. It's a burden. It's a load.

  979. Listen. Unforgiveness could be a wait

  980. that hinders you and your call. I'm.

  981. I'm talking about dedication. Be dedicated to let things go

  982. and walk in love. Forgive.

  983. Forgive means to drop it, release it and let it go.

  984. It could be a wait. You know what cares of this life

  985. could be a wait. Well, you're just thinking about

  986. this world in the world system all the time, right?

  987. That could be a wait. And the Bible says what to put

  988. it aside. Put it off.

  989. Stay focused. Everybody say stay focused.

  990. So put it off, he said. And the sin now sins easy,

  991. right? In the sense that we know what

  992. sin is. It means to wander from the law

  993. of God. It means an offense or to miss

  994. the mark. So he said, in order to run this

  995. race effectively, you got to be dedicated or consecrated.

  996. You got to get rid of weights and sins because both both will

  997. hinder you. In your journey and destination

  998. and design that God has for you, He has a purpose for you in the

  999. earth. And it says that we need to run

1000. with endurance. Endurance means that we say

1001. steadfast no matter what we're we're not swerved or moved by

1002. any trial or suffering. That's what steadfast means.

1003. And it says the race. Now that word race in Hebrews 12

1004. is the same word that the Apostle Paul used to when he

1005. says fight the good fight of faith.

1006. You could literally say and run with endurance the fight because

1007. it's the same word. It means a contest really in

1008. that society. It mean that it meant the Greek

1009. Olympic Games is what Paul was saying.

1010. So I'm. Going to go to 1st Corinthians

1011. Chapter 9. First commitment is Chapter 9.

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

1012. We'll get to judges in just a second.

1013. First commitment is Chapter 9 versus 24 through 27.

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

1014. I'm going to read this from two different translations to the

1015. first one being I think it's the new King James, the second one

1016. being the message. Do you not know that those who

1017. run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize?

1018. Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

1019. And everyone who competes for the prizes temperate in all

1020. things. Now they do it to obtain a

1021. perishable crown, but we an empiricable crown.

1022. Therefore I I run thus, not with uncertainty.

1023. Thus I fight not as one that beats there, but I discipline my

1024. body and bring it to subjection less.

1025. When I preach to others, I myself should become

1026. disqualified. The message says it like this.

1027. You've all been to the stadium and you've seen the athletes

  1028. race. Everyone.

  1029. Everyone runs. One wins.

1030. Run to win. Run to win.

1031. Run to win. All good athletes train hard.

1032. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades you after

  1033. you after one. That's gold Eternally I don't

1034. know about. But I'm running hard for the

1035. finish line. I'm giving it everything I got.

1036. No lazy living for me. I'm staying alert and in top

1037. condition. I'm not going to get caught

1038. napping telling everyone else about it and then missing out

1039. myself. Second Timothy, Chapter 20

  1040. versus second Timothy 20, Chapter 2 versus 20 through 20.

1041. One we're going to bring this all together by help with the

1042. Holy Ghost. But in a great house there's not

1043. only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wooden clay, summer

1044. for honor, some for dishonor. Therefore, if anyone, if anyone,

1045. if anyone, if anyone, cleanses himself from the latter, he will

1046. be a vessel of honor, sanctified, dedicated,

1047. consecrated, and useful for the master, prepared for every good

1048. work. The JB Phillips says that Tran

1049. that verse this way. God's solid foundation still

1050. stands, however, with this double inscription.

1051. The Lord knows those who belong to Him.

1052. Let every true Christian have no dealing with evil.

1053. In any big household there are not there are naturally not only

1054. gold and silver vessels, but wood and earth, and where one

1055. ones as well. Some are used for the highest

1056. purposes, and some for the lowest.

1057. If any man keeps himself from the contaminations of evil, he

1058. will be a vessel used for honorable purposes, clean and

1059. serviceable for the use of the master of of the household.

1060. All already, in fact, for any good purpose.

  1061. I went to judge. I said judges, didn't I?

  1062. Hallelujah. I meant Numbers 33.

1063. I'm kind of giving you a highlevel.

1064. And we're going to get about 5 takeaways.

1065. Numbers 33 says this. These are the journeys of the

1066. children of Israel that they say journeys, some translation say

1067. stages. So I bring that up because,

1068. listen, now that you redeem, there's a purpose for you.

1069. There's a Kingdom. Call and there's going to be

1070. different stages or different seasons of life if you do what

1071. we're telling today, the word of God, and sanctify yourself or

1072. dedicate yourself. Remove every weight and every

1073. sin. Flee every appearance of evil.

1074. I'll put it this way, Matthew 5/8.

1075. It says Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

1076. Blessed are the pure in art. The purer your life, the more

1077. focused the vision. The more purity you have in your

1078. life, the stronger the vision. If you have weights and sin,

1079. guess what? You're going to suffer loss like

1080. that? Wood, hay and stubble because

1081. God's got a plan for you. But sin distorts and confuses

1082. but. A holy life, a sanctified life,

1083. keeps the focus there. So there's different seasons.

1084. When we went to Bible school when it was Kennethy Hagan was.

1085. I have two, what I call historical mentors in my life,

1086. which is Ed Cole and Kennethy Hagan.

1087. I never had any personal contact with him but read a lot of their

1088. material. So there's not what I call

1089. relational mentorship with them, but a historical in the sense

1090. that I really fed on a lot of the material.

1091. It's interesting that both, both of them, both of them say, both

1092. of them 57, say 57. God had a new season, a new

1093. stage for their life. Why?

1094. Because they dedicated their life to God, they consecrated

1095. their life to God. Kennethy Hagan said it this way.

1096. God said now you're getting ready for the third phase of

1097. your ministry at 57. So guess what?

1098. Have you missed any phases or seasons of your life?

1099. Faithfulness and holiness will keep you on track.

1100. Say faithfulness and holiness will keep you on track for God's

1101. seasons for your life. At 57 Ed Cole was was pastor in

1102. A at a prophetic word that he need to leave the pastorate and

1103. step out and do full times men men's ministry.

1104. There was no men's ministry in the 80s.

1105. He was the pioneer in the trailblazer at that time.

1106. Now there's a lot of men's ministry but he he left the full

1107. time pastorate at 57. Just when most people are

1108. thinking about retiring they're refiring.

1109. Because you know what there's no retirement in the Kingdom of

1110. God. There's just new assignments.

1111. Say new assignments. There should be a wealth on the

1112. inside of you that people should be seeking you out in your 80s.

1113. I'm reading the book right now by Lester Summer.

1114. All he sought out Smith Wigglesworth in his 80s.

1115. Smith was in his 80s. Lester was younger.

1116. Why? Because he knew there was

1117. something in him that he wanted. And when he went and sought him

1118. out, Smith Wigglesworth end up praying over him in that

1119. relationship before he passed away.

1120. And they said tears was flowing down his eyes.

1121. He was a taller man. Lester Summerall was smaller.

1122. They were really flow flowing onto his head.

1123. And Lester Summerall got some of what was on Smith Wigglesworth.

1124. And had a very successful ministry and finished strong and

1125. that's what God wants you to do with your life is finish strong.

1126. So let's get 5 takeaways for finishing strong.

1127. Number one, your daily devotional life.

1128. How is that going? Anchor Faith.

1129. Church encourages, prompts, reminds, presides the resources.

1130. Both some of y'all got digital versions and the hard copy ones

1131. of a Bible reading plan out of guest relations, right?

1132. Why do we do that? Because we thank God for church.

1133. But if you don't read your Bible, you're only getting two

1134. meals a week if you come to Wednesday night.

1135. And I don't know about you, but if I lived off of 2.

1136. Meals a week. Maybe that's why you are a

  1137. cranky husband. Amen.

1138. Because you're spiritually malnourished and you don't have

1139. energy. Hallelujah on the on the the

1140. great side. If you stay in the word of God

1141. daily and read that Bible, what it what is the Bible?

  1142. It's it's fellowshipping with God.

1143. It's taking time. And let me encourage you before

1144. you get it. It's a heavenly Father.

1145. I am listening today. You know, I I like saying this.

1146. You know what's going to happen in the days, the weeks, the

1147. months to come. So give me a word to stand on.

1148. A fresh word, right? In the Old Testament, they had

1149. the mana. But guess what?

1150. That mana was only good for that day.

1151. If they try to take the man into the next day, guess what?

1152. It got stanky. For our good grammar.

  1153. Don't be a stanky or a stinky Christian because you're living

1154. off of old mana, right? There's a word for you.

1155. There's nothing like fresh bread, you know, And we're

1156. almost done. That melts the butter when it

1157. comes out the oven. Oh yeah.

1158. And that's what God said. And I got a fresh word for you

1159. every day. You need to be in the word of

1160. God. That's the first take away every

1161. day. Don't let it slip.

1162. Right. Secondly, you need to develop

1163. your your prayer and your meditation life.

1164. Prayer is more than just asking for things.

1165. Prayer is coming in the Prince of God to to fellowship and

1166. commune with him, and in Genesis said they were the hear the

1167. voice of the Lord, the God walking in the cool of the day.

1168. There's a good goal for you. Read Pastor Marcy's book on

1169. prayer, the cool of the day. Stir up your prayer life.

1170. If you really want to get to another dimension, spiritually

1171. stir up your meditation life. All of us are thinking something

1172. all the time. It'd be amazing that to look

1173. into your mind right now and see what you're thinking about.

1174. Some of you could be thinking about bread with butter, because

1175. I just said that and say I wish we could hurry so we can get

1176. some bread with butter. But meditation?

1177. What's that mean? It means to imagine, to revolve

1178. in the mind, to think about it. So you need to develop your

1179. prayer life and your meditation life.

1180. Prayer is fellowshipping with God.

1181. So one way to fellowship is just to chew on his word all the

1182. time, right? I mean, think about it.

1183. When you were engaged, courting, guess what you took the time to

1184. do? You guys are quiet.

1185. You listen right? You put your your best foot

1186. forward, so to speak. You smelled good.

1187. Your car was clean. Glory to God, you'd get the

1188. door. Have you lost some of that good?

1189. He had said he has not. That's good.

1190. But you took How much more with God do you do?

1191. You rush in in prayer out of more religious habit than a

1192. relationship. So we need to develop our daily

1193. devotion. We need to develop our prayer

1194. and our meditation life. And back to the analogy of when

1195. you're recording man, you were thinking about that person all

  1196. the time. Guess what?

1197. You need to think about God all the time, right?

1198. If you want to be the being your purpose as a man, as a husband,

1199. as a father, whatever ABCDEFG he's called you to whatever

1200. sector, society, wherever your passion is at you can, you need

1201. to develop that prayer life. Why?

1202. Because the Holy Ghost so quicken you.

1203. That's the that's the next thing that you need.

1204. You need the Holy Spirit. You need the Holy Ghost.

1205. John 16 Seven These are takeaways #1.

1206. Daily Devotion #2 Develop your meditation in your prayer life

1207. #3. You need to realize daily, you

1208. need the Holy Ghost, Jesus said in John 16 Seven.

1209. It's expedient that I go away because if I go away, I'm going

1210. to send another one just like me.

1211. What was he talking about? The Holy Ghost acts. 18 Says you

1212. shall receive power when the Holy Ghost says what come upon

1213. you. I don't want to do everything in

1214. my natural effort. I want to do it through the

1215. anointing. Philippians 413 says I can do

1216. all things through Christ who strengthens me.

1217. What's the Christ, Christos the anointing For the assignment.

1218. I want to do it through the anointing that the fourth thing

1219. you need is church attendance. Church attendance.

1220. You need to be regularly come to church, the Bible says in

1221. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11. He gave some.

    Ephesians 4:11

1222. These are some assignments in the body of Christ.

1223. Not all people have the same assignment.

1224. God is way too creative to make everybody do the same thing.

  1225. Everybody's fingerprint is different.

1226. Personality wise we have sanguines, melancholy,

1227. flagmatics and calorics. All different personalities.

1228. Why? Because God is way too unique

1229. and way too creative not to. Not to put a gift in you that

1230. won't reach a sector of society. The thing is, don't get

1231. sanguines. Don't get frustrated with the

1232. melancholies. Sanguine's the life of the

  1233. party. Melancholies.

  1234. All the paperwork's done, I's dotted, t's crossed.

1235. Well, I just want to go out and have fun.

1236. Well, we got to finish the paperwork, right?

1237. The caloric is a type driven visionary, the flag mag says.

1238. Can't we just take a nap? But what?

1239. God's way too creative. He put us all.

  1240. What? Because there's a uniqueness

1241. about you. There's a gift in you that

1242. nobody else has. And God one day is going to

1243. judge you on it. And what we're trying to set up

1244. is you want to have him say well done with what I gave you.

1245. Even forgiveness is a well done. You got that.

1246. So you need regular church attendance.

1247. I've had three pastors since 1997, three.

1248. I've been in church regularly. There's probably been only five

1249. times in that time frame that I've probably missed since due

1250. to vacation. Even I'm on vacation.

1251. We typically try to find a church to go to.

1252. I remember one time my wife and I went to Texas.

1253. Early on, we were members of Rema Bible Church, but we were

1254. down in Dallas, and so we went to TD Jakes Church.

1255. Wow. Because that's what we do Sunday

1256. morning. Let's go to the Potter's house,

1257. right. So regular church attendance.

1258. Why? Because in Ephesians 4, it says

1259. if you go to church, that pastor, that apostle, that

1260. prophet, that teacher, that evangelist is going to what?

1261. Equip the Saints. So you could do daily devotion,

1262. develop your prayer, meditation, life, have the help with the

1263. Holy Ghost, but miss out because you don't attend church because

1264. there's an equipping. What it means that there's a

1265. supply in a setting that happens when you come to church, right?

1266. And guess what in church is where you're going to find some

1267. of your giftings. We had a we had a parenting

1268. conference last week past Marcus.

1269. You can come and if you need to get ready for water baptism, if

1270. you signed up for water baptism, you can go and be dismissed

1271. right now and get changed for that okay.

1272. At our parenting conference, I think there was a question that

1273. we may ever verbally answered. It was at least asked or

1274. discussed, and it was about how do I find my my child's call or

1275. purpose right. I want to help get them in it.

1276. And man, the Holy Ghost because we need the Holy Spirit

1277. quickened on the inside of me. You find your gifting through

1278. serving just like that. Now I was getting ready to

1279. answer and John George actually answered it.

1280. Really got the same thing by the Spirit in principle.

1281. But I thought, man, why is church intense important?

1282. Not only you quit, but you find a place to serve, and in serving

1283. you find your gifting and God will say what?

1284. Well done. And guess what is if you're

1285. faithful and you're gifting, he's going to give you more.

1286. In this life, sometimes I reflect.

1287. I don't think about title often I could care less about title.

1288. I I'm not ambitious like that. I just want to say humble.

1289. You know, I think about my journey since 1997.

1290. It was just, I went to church. God said go to Bible school.

1291. I went to Bible school. At Bible school.

1292. I was hoping to meet a spouse. January my second year.

1293. I thought, Lord, this ain't going to happen.

1294. I caramba, I really want to meet somebody at Rama Rama Bridal

1295. Training Center because I know it's not really what it's

1296. called. They have been trained the same

1297. way. And so in January that I just

1298. kind of set my heart. You know God looks at the heart.

1299. Okay. I'm going to go back to apostle

1300. scales because that's the church I came out of in Columbus.

1301. I'm just going to go serve him. When I got my heart right bam.

1302. Heart right bam. I met Angie never end up going

1303. back to Columbus. But guess what we were just

1304. faithful at Rayma. She end up working for the

1305. ministry. I selling cars just faithful.

1306. Faithful faithful connect to a pastor or during that time we

1307. did some jail ministry together with them.

1308. Some youth ministry together with them did we had graduated

1309. the same time just stayed faithful to him.

1310. Stayed faithful to him, 2000 and.

1311. Four, he says, hey, we're starting a church.

1312. Pray about it. You want to come with us?

1313. Angie and I prayed about it. We actually, in our heart we had

1314. just got married. We're going to wait one year.

1315. So we said we're in arrest but we're going to wait.

1316. They actually came to Florida but end up going back and

1317. serving our pastor David EMI for several years before they

1318. actually came in 2004. So then in 2004 they they said

1319. we were going and we had fell right at that time we said we're

1320. going with you. He didn't promise anything.

1321. He just said no. And your heart's supposed to

  1322. come. So we came.

1323. No title 1 seeking title. Care less about title.

1324. Just following God, right? State Faith one church, State

1325. faithful knew these other three things.

1326. Prior to that, 2009 was a big moment for me.

1327. I was working for Enterprise Rent a Car.

1328. Enterprise Rent a Car 4321 in the house.

1329. Pastor Marcus work for Enterprise two and I knew

1330. someday, you know, as as probably would go in full time

  1331. ministry. I wasn't asking for it, wasn't

1332. trying to manipulate anything. Just let things work out.

1333. Just being faithful, right? 2009 Chloe was born July, but in

1334. that month too, that's the same month Pastor called me, said,

1335. Hey, you want to come off full? I didn't have to pray about

  1336. that. I knew, Yes.

1337. You're asking it. You need the help?

1338. Yes. So actually I was.

1339. Chloe was born. I was on paternity leave.

1340. I had an annual evaluation and I met Ty, our manager at the

1341. restaurant, and I said Ty, I said, and I was honest with

1342. Enterprise. I've been with him for several

1343. years. When they hired me in the

1344. interview they said, where do you see yourself in five years?

1345. I said church. They still hired me.

1346. And you know what? Through the anointing though,

1347. through the gift of the grace, I'm telling you, they look for

1348. college degree people. We had Bible school degrees.

1349. But Pastor Marcus, I didn't have college degrees.

1350. You know that the top branches when we were in branch managers

1351. in Northeast Florida, Pastor Marcus and myself, we were

1352. trumping not to put down a degree but we had the anointing

1353. upon us. And we're running to the most

1354. successful branches for Enterprise faithful.

1355. But at that evaluation, I said, Ty, I'm, I'm giving you my two

1356. weeks notice. Boy, he got up real quick and

1357. left. Called his boss is like freak

1358. out mode. But I told him it was coming,

1359. you know, back several years ago.

1360. What am I saying? Because it's no different for

1361. you what God hasn't planned. See, it started with me being

1362. faithful as a man, faithful as a husband, Faithful on parenting

1363. faithful my devotion. Life, faithful my prayer

1364. meditation, life. Faithful to listen to the Holy

1365. Ghost, faithful and church attendance.

1366. And this fifth thing I'm going to give you is accountability.

1367. Mediocre people want authority without accountability.

1368. I want somebody to be able to speak in my life.

1369. My my wife knows this. I have.

1370. I wasn't as close with Kenneth W Hagan, Pastor Kenneth W Hagan,

1371. like obviously Pastor has been able to develop a close

1372. relationship with him. That was a large church.

1373. I really didn't get to know him very well intimately, although

1374. he knows me. But, you know, obviously

1375. pastorize of intimate relationship because they text

1376. and call off. And now I I was able to get a

1377. little closer to apostle scales when I was at his church.

1378. And I've gotten really close to Pastor Earl in my role here.

1379. So listen when I talk about accountability, though.

1380. My wife knows if I ever get Squirrely, she's got two people

1381. she can text Apostle Scales and Pastor Earl, and that'll keep

1382. you on track. When there's no accountability,

1383. guess what? You can get out of your lane or

1384. out of your gifting because you got nobody to speak into your

1385. life. Thank you so much for listening
