  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. He's called every single one of

  4. us to unify. To get together and to do what

  5. God's called us to do. And we're going to talk about

  6. that this morning, what it looks like, what the church is

  7. supposed to look like and what we're supposed to do when we

  8. come in this place. I love the word that Brianna

  9. gave, and we're going to talk a little bit about that here in

  10. just a minute. I have about 50 pages of Notes

  11. Font 18, but this is like a Font 18 message OK.

  12. This is like a font 20 message. Because I need you to get this.

  13. I need you to get stirred up. I need you to ignite yourself,

  14. get ignited by the Holy Ghost that we're called to this city.

  15. And when the when the scripture tells us to go into the world,

  16. it's not telling you that you have to go to India and it's not

  17. telling you that you have to go to Albania and it's not telling

  18. you that you have to go to Tanzania.

  19. It's not telling you that you have to go to all these places.

  20. It's saying you're called right here to this city.

  21. And not all of us are going to go, and some of us are going to

  22. go at sometimes, but most of us are going to stay right here and

  23. do what God's called us to do here.

  24. And if we're called to ignite this city, we have to know what

  25. that looks. Like.

  26. So let's dig into the scriptures.

  27. This morning I'm here to kind of rally you and Brianna came up

  28. with a little coach anointing, and I'm going to come up with a

  29. another little coach anointing, OK?

  30. Just to get us together. If we have to all huddle up and

  31. say 123 at the end, then we will.

  32. OK, whatever I got to do, If I got to run up and down the

  33. aisles and slap you on the behind to get you motivated,

  34. then we'll do it. OK, All right.

  35. Now let me get spiritual, all right?

  36. Now listen, this is the word that pastor, our, our shepherd,

  37. our lead, Shepherd said we needed to have today, OK, to go

  38. into all the world, what that means and what community

  39. mobilization looks. Like.

  40. So I want you right now, first thing, to just throw off the

  41. cares that you brought in here. Because sometimes we get so

  42. focused and we're going to talk about that And what the

  43. Scripture says in the last days can happen to you, can happen to

  44. me. Sometimes we get so focused on

  45. our own lives, our own situations, our own issues that

  46. we come in here and when somebody says go into the world

  47. or. I have to do more.

  48. I have to get more involved. We kind of lock up and we stop

  49. and we go. I can't do anymore.

  50. I got so much on my on my calendar.

  51. I got so much on my schedule. God wants you to ignite and make

  52. influence right where you are. And that's where you have to

  53. start. In your workplace, in the

  54. community. That's where we start.

  55. So right now, I want you just to open up your heart and just cast

  56. every care. Just throw it off.

  57. Just get rid of it and open your heart to receive the word of

  58. God. Amen.

  59. All right, let's go to Mark, chapter 16.

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  60. I'm going to say a few things. While you're moving there, I

  61. want you to get out of your comfort zone.

  62. I want you to understand that your capacity, our capacity as a

  63. church is increasing. There is there are so many open

  64. doors, so many things that are happening and coming to us right

  65. and left. Honestly things that God is

  66. opening. The scripture says when God

  67. opens the door, let no man shut it.

  68. But The thing is, is we can't do all of these open doors, but we

  69. can do all of these open doors and and God is opening these

  70. things for us to walk into it because we have a body that is

  71. ignited, that is one that knows the message, knows the Kingdom

  72. of God, and we need to be able to go out and communicate it and

  73. get people set free. To mobilize means the action of

  74. a country. Or it's government preparing and

  75. organizing the troops for active service.

  76. You know the scripture says that you are his workmanship created

  77. in Christ Jesus for good works that he prepared already.

  78. That you would do it. There's such a peace and such a

  79. a rest in that faith of knowing that God's got a call on your

  80. life and what he's called you to do.

  81. You just have to take the steps. The Bible says the steps of a

  82. righteous man and woman are ordered of God.

  83. And so it's not just about me getting up every day and trying

  84. to figure out what I'm going to do, trying to figure out what

  85. God's called me to do. The scripture says that you know

  86. his voice. You do know him and you hear

  87. him, and the Bible says, another voice, you will not follow.

  88. And so you're not going to follow another voice unless you

  89. choose to follow another voice. So we need to put ourselves in a

  90. position to say, God, what is it that you're asking me to do?

  91. What is the the step of faith? If you're comfortable, then I'm

  92. just going to. I just kind of want to make you

  93. uncomfortable. A little bit.

  94. If you're comfortable in your everyday life, your job, I just

  95. want you to think about what kind of step do I need to take?

  96. What kind of step of faith do I need to step out and do?

  97. If we're going to take Dominion here on the earth, we got to get

  98. out and do it. We got to go, and there's a

  99. purpose for us coming here. I don't want to get ahead of

  100. myself, but my prayer and my passion this morning is that we

  101. would be ignited. To impact our community in our

  102. city and it's not just me being a community pastor.

  103. I can't do it all and I need you.

  104. We need you to to come in and say we're going to feed the

  105. homeless, we're going to do the families count class, We're

  106. going to step into all these doors that God's opening.

  107. We want to be the hands and feet.

  108. We want to be the ones that are doing it, Ephesians Chapter 4

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  109. says. And he himself gave some to be

  110. apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors

  111. and teachers for the equipping of the Saints and the work of

  112. the ministry. So we're here to mobilize.

  113. We're here to equip. We're here to equip you to go

  114. out and do the work of the Ministry.

  115. That's what our job is to do, not for us to always be the ones

  116. going out there and doing it. That's your job.

  117. And so I'm here this morning. To do that is to mobilize you.

  118. Mark Chapter 16. Let's bring some clarity to what

    Mark 16 chapter mention

  119. Jesus said after he rose from the grave.

  120. It says later he appeared to the 11 as they sat at the table.

  121. And he rebuked their unbelief and their hardness of heart

  122. because they did not believe those who had seen him after he

  123. had risen. And he said to them, go into all

  124. the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

  125. Right there is where we start to go.

  126. OK, awesome. I'll finance, we'll send pastor,

  127. we'll, we'll send those construction workers.

  128. They can go do it. We'll send whoever is is called

  129. to do do it. And that's not what the

  130. Scripture is talking about. So it says.

  131. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,

  132. and he who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he

  133. who does not believe will be condemned.

  134. And these signs will follow those who believe in my name.

  135. They will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues,

  136. they will take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing,

  137. it will by no means hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick

  138. and they will recover. The signs come after the going.

  139. The signs are not for right here, and it does not mean that

  140. those signs cannot happen in this church on a Sunday morning

  141. or a Wednesday. But you understand that you got

  142. filled with the Holy Ghost when you got born again.

  143. He came to live on the inside of you.

  144. But when you got filled with the Spirit, the baptism of the Holy

  145. Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, that is for

  146. service. That is for you to be able to go

  147. and for these signs to follow you.

  148. Not so that we can come up in here and do do all the gifts of

  149. the Spirit, but it's so that when you're in your workplace,

  150. you can get a word of wisdom for someone.

  151. You can get a word of knowledge for someone.

  152. You can say you're not feeling good.

  153. Do you mind? Can I just lay hands on you and

  154. and pray for you? And when and we're going to,

  155. we're going to squash any goofy fruit, loopy people going out

  156. and being all super spiritual. You have to be led by the Holy

  157. Ghost. That's why he's in you.

  158. That's why he's there to say he's the Lord of the harvest.

  159. And sometimes we want to be the Lord of the harvest.

  160. And we want to to push and we want to preach and we want to to

  161. push people into the Kingdom of God.

  162. And he says, no, I'm the Lord of the harvest, and I'll lead you

  163. in these things. And if we'll just walk into

  164. these places, in our workplaces, wherever we are, and just be

  165. listening and yielding to the Holy Ghost on the inside instead

  166. of just where's the butter, where's the stuff I got to get

  167. in the grocery store? Where's what I need for my daily

  168. task? Not just thinking about.

  169. You but going out every day and saying I'm going to put first

  170. the Kingdom of God and I'm going to be sensitive to the Holy

  171. Ghost and I'm going to ask him, is there something you want me

  172. to say? Is there something you want me

  173. to do? The signs are going to follow

  174. you when you go. We have to go.

  175. So let's look at what this word world means.

  176. Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

  177. We typically think it's going, but this world is cosmos, and

  178. that word cosmos means anything that is ordered, any system

  179. found in any part of society. In other words, it means every

  180. sector of society it is not talking about.

  181. You having to leave the country necessarily, and that is part of

  182. our vision. But when it says right here, go

  183. into all the world and preach and these signs are going to

  184. follow you, it means go into your sectors of society, go to

  185. your workplace place, go to your government, go to your places

  186. and expect God to be there and expect God to move.

  187. I'm going to give you the different sectors of society.

  188. ABCDEF&G KA is the arts. These are the different sectors

  189. of society that's performing. Arts, filmmaking, photography,

  190. architecture, the list goes on. The Arts B is business.

  191. Business. OK, Some of us own businesses.

  192. Many of us. Work in businesses.

  193. C is congregations, that is organizations, assemblies,

  194. boards, go. Ahead and jump.

  195. On your little HOA board? Those are fun.

  196. Go ahead and get on that HOA board and be a light in that

  197. place. D is direct media, broadcasting,

  198. Internet, radio, anything that has to do with media.

  199. E is education, education. There's lots of places we can

  200. jump in for education. Get on your school board.

  201. Jump in these schools. I'm going to talk about it.

  202. There's a shortage of a whole lot going on because people are

  203. so broken and we can step in and fill the gap and we need to be

  204. doing that. Families, FS Families, our

  205. church has many open doors for this opportunity.

  206. There is a a thing even on our our Saint Johns County website,

  207. our government website called the Fatherhood Initiative.

  208. And I'm going to look into that more.

  209. But we have a whole lot of men in this church that are taking

  210. mighty men and this fatherhood initiative.

  211. There's there's these things that our county does that our

  212. state will fund us for if we'll start helping these vulnerable

  213. people and these vulnerable families.

  214. And we need to start tapping into that.

  215. You know the Bible says the wealth of the wicked is laid up

  216. for the just. And so we need to start.

  217. Do we not have some men in this place that could father a son,

  218. could that could father these broken kids?

  219. There's so many homeless and broken and foster kids in our

  220. county. What are we doing?

  221. Are we just going to work every day and just making paint?

  222. Victor, are we thinking about what else we can do?

  223. I just happened to look at Victor.

  224. I love you. What?

  225. What else can we do? What can we?

  226. Who can we speak to? How can we say, Lord, I'm

  227. willing. I want to speak a word of life

  228. to somebody. I want to be available to heal

  229. the broken hearted. Use me.

  230. The last one is Government G Our political systems, our county

  231. meetings. Anything that's happening with

  232. our government, these are sectors of society that we are

  233. all involved in. That's what it means when it

  234. says go to the world, go to your cosmos, go to your sector of

  235. society. 2nd Corinthians chapter 4/4.

  236. It uses the same word cosmos for world.

  237. There when it says Satan is the God of this world, Do you not

  238. know? Do we understand that there are

  239. demonic forces in every sector of society?

  240. There is so much happening, so much influence, whether it's

  241. money, greed, whatever is going on though, Satan is not

  242. hesitating one bit to send his hordes of hell into every sector

  243. of society. And we're just going to come up

  244. in here and look cute and and hodgepodge with each other and

  245. and go out and go home and make sure our bills are paid, make

  246. sure what we're doing is done and not even think about or have

  247. God's heart. To go out and say, Oh my gosh,

  248. these people are so broken, they need help.

  249. How can I help them? How can I go into their sector

  250. of society and be a light when we go into our sectors of

  251. society and we're still broken and we're still heavy and we're

  252. still dealing with our own things?

  253. The Holy Ghost will still use you.

  254. It doesn't mean you're not going to walk through stuff in life,

  255. But you need to be able to put yourself in a position to say,

  256. Lord, I'm ready to deal with anything on the inside of me.

  257. Use me, Lord. I thank you, Lord, that I'm

  258. healed, that I'm whole, that I'm ready to be used so that I can

  259. hear and be sensitive to what God wants to do in my place of

  260. business or wherever I'm at. So this is where he the the

  261. demonic influences invade and the church as a whole.

  262. We've failed because we just want to make sure that our needs

  263. are met. And how are we supposed to go

  264. out when the scripture says take dominion and and take territory

  265. and take authority? If we're not doing it in our own

  266. lives, how are we going to do it out there?

  267. So we got to start making making sure we can get our, I'm telling

  268. you, Pastor Mike and I, sometimes when we deal with

  269. married couples, we talk about there's a pastor that we had

  270. heard years ago when married couples would would come and

  271. they would be having issues, he would send them away together.

  272. Just to spend. Time together.

  273. To pray, to start doing things for each other.

  274. You know when you get your focus off of you.

  275. And start giving to someone else.

  276. You know that the the Bible is is actually true when it says

  277. it's more blessed to give than it is to receive.

  278. That if you'll just go, you know what?

  279. I do have this need. I do have this thing going on,

  280. but but I'm going to yield and give this to some just going to

  281. start baking cookies for my neighbor or I'm just going to

  282. start going into the school and volunteering and mentoring.

  283. I'm just going to start getting my focus off what's happening

  284. with me all the time. And I'm going to go into every

  285. sector that's around me and influence.

  286. I'm telling you, people in our community are coming to this

  287. church and they're saying we want you, we want you to take

  288. over. We want you to help.

  289. We want you to coach. We want to give you this

  290. business. We want to give you this.

  291. We want you to come be on this board.

  292. They're asking us. They're coming to us.

  293. This church truly is a city on a hill.

  294. It really is that and you're part of a of a rally cry and A

  295. and a church that does it. We're doers of the word and you

  296. ought to get yourself like whatever, whatever you got to do

  297. to stir yourself up. Sometimes you got to move.

  298. Sometimes you just got to get get up and get out and do

  299. something. Quit thinking about you in the

  300. last days. That is going to be the biggest

  301. thing that you're going to have to guard against.

  302. Because the scripture says in the last days that believers,

  303. you, me, are going to be lovers of themselves, lovers of their

  304. own lives. Well, I don't want to serve

  305. because I have something going on, and that's just the church.

  306. That's just in the church. This work of ministry that

  307. you're called to is not we're not talking about the the, the

  308. nursery, we're talking about life if we can't even.

  309. I mean, we got to get in unity. You got to understand what what

  310. unity does for a body of believers.

  311. You know, when you see anything. My husband and I are very

  312. similar in this. We're not when we watch a sports

  313. movie. Or something where people get

  314. unified. I'm not talking about even they

  315. had to win a game. I'm just talking about the

  316. moment in the movie where they get in Unity.

  317. I mean, I'll cry and he cries. We'll sit there and cry at the

  318. weirdest places because there's unity there.

  319. When you see, when you see two people dancing and there's like

  320. perfect unity, it's like, oh, I want to watch that again.

  321. I want to watch that like 10 times When you see something

  322. happening, you know, people are in agreement.

  323. They're they're on the same page of sports team.

  324. Whatever it is, there's something about it.

  325. And the Scripture talks about it.

  326. And so can we can we as a body, open our hearts to say, let's

  327. get unified, let's do this thing, let's get out and ignite

  328. our city. Let's let's do what we're

  329. supposed to do. He not only here in the church,

  330. but let's go out there and let's actually do this.

  331. And let's 'cause people to come here when you come here.

  332. This is just our this is just our mobilized time.

  333. This is just our time to come together and say, here's your

  334. marching orders, here's what, here's what we need you to do.

  335. Make sure you're staying built up.

  336. Let's get in unity and we're going to look at in scripture.

  337. If I can ever get back to my notes, we're going to look at

  338. what what that looks like when a church comes together and is

  339. unified and even when evil people do it, what that looks

  340. like. So let's first look at a woman.

  341. A wise woman. Who saved her whole city?

  342. I need you to get passionate about this city.

  343. Second Samuel, Chapter 20, it says.

    2 Samuel 20 chapter mention

  344. And there happened to be there. A rebel whose name was Sheba,

  345. the son of Bickery the Benjamite.

  346. And he blew a trumpet and said, we have no share in David.

  347. So this rebel Sheba is saying we have no share in David, nor do

  348. we have inheritance in the son of Jesse, every man to his tent,

  349. so Israel. So every man of Israel deserted

  350. David and follow this rebel Sheba the son of Bickery.

  351. But the men of Judah from the Jordan, as far as Jerusalem,

  352. remained loyal to their king. Verse six says David said.

  353. Now Sheba the son of Bickery, will do more harm to us than

  354. Absalom. Take your Lord's servants and

  355. pursue him, lest he find for himself fortified cities, and

  356. escape us So Joab's men with the those people and all the mighty

  357. men went out after him. Verse 15.

  358. Then they came and besieged him and Abel, and they cast up a

  359. siege mount against the city, and it stood by the Rampart, and

  360. all the people who are with Joab battered the wall to throw it

  361. down. So.

  362. So this rebel went into this city and Joab and all his men

  363. are going to the city and they've got these battering Rams

  364. and they're like, we're taking over this.

  365. City. We're going to conquer this city

  366. because we're going to get this rebel who's against David and

  367. we're going to take him out. So look what happens.

  368. Verse 16. Then a wise woman cried out from

  369. her city. The city, I put her city.

  370. Here, here please say to Joab come nearby that I may speak

  371. with you. And when he had come near to

  372. her, the woman said, Are you Joab?

  373. And he answered, I am. And then she said to him, Hear

  374. the words of your maidservant. So this woman was like a.

  375. Watchman on the wall of this city.

  376. And she said, hold on, what's happening?

  377. Why are you hitting? Why are you coming against our

  378. city with these battering Rams? What's going on?

  379. Hear the Joab, hear me, hear the words of your maidservant.

  380. And he answered, OK, I'm listening.

  381. So she spoke, saying they used to talk in former times, saying

  382. they shall surely seek guidance at Abel.

  383. And so they would in disputes I am coming the peaceable and

  384. faithful in Israel. I am among the peaceable and the

  385. faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city and a

  386. mother. In Israel there's something

  387. about a Mama, you seek to destroy this city and a mother

  388. in Israel, why would you swallow up the inheritance of the Lord?

  389. And Joab answered and said, far be it from me that I should

  390. swallow up or destroy. That is not so.

  391. But a man from the mountains of Ephraim Sheba, the son of Bakery

  392. by name, has raised his hand against the king, against David.

  393. Deliver him only, and I'll depart from the city.

  394. So the woman said to Joab, OK, she was like, time out, watch,

  395. watch what I'm about to do watch.

  396. His head will be thrown to you over the wall.

  397. She is not playing. Then the woman in her wisdom

  398. went to all the people. She went to all the people in

  399. her city. And she said, we have sin in the

  400. camp. We have a rebel in our city.

  401. There's something happening here.

  402. We're about to cut his head off and we're going to chunk it over

  403. the wall. You got me one 2-3 go.

  404. And they went and that's what they did.

  405. And and then he blew, and they then the woman in her wisdom

  406. went to all the people, and they cut off the head of Sheba, the

  407. son of Bickery, and threw it out to Joab.

  408. And then he blew the trumpet, and they withdrew from the city,

  409. every man to his tent. And Joab returned to the king at

  410. Jerusalem. The people rallied behind this

  411. wise woman, who's not even named, rallied behind her.

  412. And this woman saved her city, her family, herself, because she

  413. said no, no, we're not going to do this.

  414. We've got to, we've got to be like this woman and say, wait,

  415. there's sin in our city. Wait, wait, wait, there's

  416. poverty in our city. Wait, wait, time out.

  417. There's corruption happening here.

  418. No, no. We're going to rally our people

  419. together and we're going to go take care of this.

  420. We're going to go into these places that have poverty and

  421. we're going to, we're going to believe God for wise ideas to

  422. bring them out of poverty. Because it's not like you can go

  423. in and and build them new houses, because they'll just

  424. become the same if their hearts and their.

  425. Minds are not changed. How do we go in there?

  426. How do we bridge the gap? How do we bring all these

  427. cultures and all these people together and ignite the city?

  428. How do we do that? How do we become like this city,

  429. this woman in this city, and say, no, we're not going to

  430. allow this? Do you have that passion for

  431. your city, or do you just have that passion for your house, for

  432. your life? Is this the city?

  433. How many, How many Vision Partners do we have in here?

  434. That's a whole lot of you. So when you went through Vision

  435. Partnership class, you learned there, maybe for the first time,

  436. that the vision of this house is to ignite the city, impact the

  437. nation and influence the world. And so you sat there and you

  438. said, I want to be a part of that vision.

  439. Me, me, call me, I want to be part of this vision.

  440. But here we are igniting the city and we need you to get

  441. involved. We need you.

  442. When we say we're doing Osceola make a difference day, you know

  443. we had eighteen women sign up for that and two men originally.

  444. That's great, but but we had to say come on man, let's let's

  445. tell it was a lot of yard work and a lot of which we did that

  446. yesterday. And I'm going to tell you that

  447. that school and that that man that runs the, the stuff of the

  448. school was so blessed by us. And he said, I did not know you

  449. were going to bring so many people.

  450. And I said, well Joey, we've done this every year.

  451. We always, excuse me, we always bring a bunch of people and we

  452. always show up to help do this. We repainted for them.

  453. We we did all kinds of trimming of trees and bushes and wedding

  454. and and and digging, digging holes.

  455. We didn't have enough. Shovels.

  456. He's like, I'm going to have to go to Home Depot and get shovels

  457. for you. We did all kinds of work for

  458. them and they and they even the principal came out and he said,

  459. well, we were. Out there on the courtyard

  460. dancing a little bit and he called my phone and said is that

  461. you out there dancing and and I said yes it is.

  462. And so he came out there and he's like, this is amazing what

  463. y'all, what y'all do, what you always do.

  464. I talk about you all the time. I talk about your partnership

  465. with our school all the time. And when I go up in our

  466. faith-based board meetings once a month, you know that they use

  467. Anchor Faith Church as the model church for partnerships with

  468. schools. Our Superintendent, the people

  469. there say if you want to know how to do a partnership, you go

  470. see Anchor Faith because they know how to serve people.

  471. We're not just up in there saying let's get this done.

  472. What do we have to do? I'm like, send me the list.

  473. We got a bunch of people. We're going to knock it out for

  474. you. But we need everybody to hear

  475. the rally cry. And that doesn't mean you have

  476. to get involved in everything. But what is God saying for you

  477. to do? What is he telling you to jump

  478. in and be a part of? You need to quickly obey that

  479. and jump in. It'll bless you.

  480. I'm telling you, it'll bless you.

  481. So the Kingdom of of heaven, the Bible says suffers violence, but

  482. the violent take it by force. So we got to come in here like

  483. this woman and say, no, no, I'm we're not going to go cut

  484. people's heads off. That's not what I'm saying.

  485. We're not going to go, you know, jumping on people and acting

  486. awkward. But but what I am saying is that

  487. we're going to take it by force, through prayer, through getting

  488. involved, through being led by the Spirit, through loving on

  489. people. That's how we're going to take

  490. it by force. Not trying to give you a Wonder

  491. Woman story, not trying to just talk about a woman.

  492. But if I can just say, if you still have an issue with that,

  493. then you probably ought to just sit up in here and not go out in

  494. the community just yet. All right, How are we going to

  495. ignite the city? How are we going to do this?

  496. The the word ignite means to catch fire or to cause to catch

  497. fire, to catch fire or to cause to catch fire.

  498. Even in Acts Chapter 17, the the people that were coming against

    Acts 17 chapter mention

  499. the gospel said these people who have turned the world upside

  500. down, they're coming to our city.

  501. We want people to say, is that anchor Faith Church?

  502. The ones who are turning this city upside down, the ones who

  503. have bought the mall, the ones who are transforming things.

  504. Everywhere I go, I show up at West Augustine.

  505. There they are. I show up at Osceola.

  506. There they are. I show up at a Flagler game.

  507. Where Who are these people? Why are they everywhere that I

  508. go? That ought to be us.

  509. We need to be. Let me put a Flagler plug in

  510. right here. We went to the women's game last

  511. night. There's probably about 20 anchor

  512. Faith people. But.

  513. But when we do those cheers, I need about at least 50 of you.

  514. OK, so I need y'all. Whether you like basketball or

  515. not is irrelevant. Macy literally sits there and

  516. asks what every single call is like.

  517. What is that? What is that?

  518. And we're having to educate. Her while we're cheering.

  519. But but it doesn't matter if you love basketball or not.

  520. Just come because our influence is happening.

  521. It's for the girls we have. We is destiny here today we have

  522. one of the girls that attends here faithfully that plays on

  523. the Flagler team and I'm telling you they are coming to us.

  524. We're feeding them. We just we just said what can we

  525. do? How can we serve.

  526. We started just feeding them. We started just, and we still do

  527. that. We just take them, food,

  528. minister to them, open our homes to them.

  529. And now we have even more of an open door.

  530. And we need to be the one stepping into that.

  531. And it starts by going and supporting.

  532. You know, we want to be cheered for.

  533. We want our own lives to be cheered for.

  534. But I need you to forget about yourself for a minute.

  535. I need you to go out and cheer these young gals on, OK?

  536. These women who are given their all on the court, I need you to

  537. show up and be part of it. We have fun when we're at the

  538. Flagler. Games come and just be a part of

  539. it, Acts 432 Acts 432 says Now the multitude of those who

  540. believed were of one heart and one soul.

  541. What does it look like? What should we look like?

  542. Neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was

  543. his own, But they had all things in common.

  544. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the

  545. resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them

  546. all. Nor was there anyone among them

  547. who lacked, for all who were possessors, or of lands and

  548. houses, sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that

  549. were sold, and laid them at the apostles feet, and they

  550. distributed to each one as they had need.

  551. I I put that scripture in there and I have a few more on unity

  552. because we need to understand what a big deal unity is.

  553. What a big deal. If we're going to actually go

  554. out, if we're going to take on this mobilization of of our

  555. community, this rally cry for us to go out and start being a

  556. light to people, we have to 1st understand what it means for us

  557. to be in unity to unify Genesis Chapter 11.

    Genesis 11 chapter mention

  558. Here is a negative example. But such a great picture of what

  559. God says would happen when people get in unity.

  560. It says now the whole earth had one language in one speech, and

  561. it came to pass as they journeyed from the east, that

  562. they found a plane in the land of Shinar and they dwelt there.

  563. They then they said to one another, come and let us make

  564. bricks and bake them thoroughly, And they had brick for stone,

  565. and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, come, let us

  566. build ourselves a city and a tower.

  567. Whose top is the heavens? And let us listen to what they

  568. said here. Let us make a name for

  569. ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the

  570. whole. Earth, but the Lord.

  571. Came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men

  572. have built, and the Lord said, indeed the people are one, and

  573. they have one language, and this is what they begin to do now.

  574. Nothing that they propose proposed to do will be withheld

  575. from them come. Let us go down there and confuse

  576. their language, that they may not understand one another's

  577. speech. So the Lord scattered them

  578. abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they

  579. ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called

  580. Babel because they're the Lord confused the language of all the

  581. earth. So we see the power even in

  582. their their issue was they wanted a name for themselves.

  583. And you know, that's a big issue even in the church is that we

  584. want a name for ourselves. We want to do something and we

  585. want to be seen or we want the pastor to see us or we want

  586. people in our city to see us. And that that is the issue here

  587. is they wanted a name for themselves.

  588. But God said they're of one language, they're of one heart,

  589. they're of one mind. Nothing will be impossible for

  590. them. So he had to go down and confuse

  591. everything that they were doing. What would happen for us if we

  592. don't have our eyes on us? If we don't have our our focus

  593. on? I just want to be seen.

  594. I just want to have the limelight.

  595. I just want to preach. I just want everybody to see how

  596. great I am with the kids or what I'm doing in the community or

  597. whatever. If we get our focus off of that

  598. and we really get unified, it is really true that God will meet

  599. every one of your needs in overabundance because you've

  600. forgotten about your own self and you've chosen to seek first

  601. the Kingdom of God. That's when all your needs will

  602. be met. But it's when we're trying to

  603. put all of our stuff together and make sure all of our needs

  604. are met and everything's working out for us that we always lack.

  605. We always fall up, fall short in in whether it's finances or our

  606. emotions or our health or whatever it is.

  607. But God says just surrender. Just give your life.

  608. Just just seek first the Kingdom of God, and I will give you all

  609. of that. I will bless you with all of

  610. that. So nothing that they had

  611. imagined or purpose to do would be held from them.

  612. And I want to read verse 6 and the amplified it says And the

  613. Lord said, Behold, they are one unified.

  614. People, and they all have the same language, and this is only

  615. the beginning of what they will do in rebellion against me.

  616. And now no evil thing they imagine they can do will be

  617. impossible for them. So he's saying they were one.

  618. They were a unified people. They can do anything they

  619. purpose to do anything they purpose to do.

  620. Psalm 133, Psalms 133 says, Behold how good and how pleasant

  621. it is. For brethren to dwell together

  622. in unity, it's like the precious oil upon the head running down

  623. on the beard, the beard of Aaron running down on the edge of his

  624. garments. It's like the dew of Herman

  625. descending upon the mountains of Zion.

  626. For there the Lord commanded the blessing life forevermore.

  627. God's looking for unity. He's looking for unity with him,

  628. with what the word of God says. He's looking for unity in your

  629. families. If we could get our husbands and

  630. wives unified, if we could get our parenting lined up with what

  631. God says. If we can get unified here in

  632. the church, what kind of territory, what kind of things

  633. you think we're going to take over in this city?

  634. He's called us and he's looking for you to get unified.

  635. What? What would happen?

  636. Like Brianna said when she when she had a word of exhortation

  637. that she gave us, she said it's not just so that when we come up

  638. in here, we can do this, but what are you saying at your

  639. house? What are you saying when you get

  640. up every day? If if me at my house and Donna

  641. at her house and Marissa at her house, we wake up, all of us in

  642. the morning, we say, this is the day that the Lord has made, I

  643. will rejoice and be glad in it. And I'm not saying we have to

  644. say that exact same scripture, but we jump out of bed and we

  645. get in alignment with what God says if we all get unified with

  646. him, get unified with each other.

  647. Sometimes we're dealing so much with our little offenses right

  648. here. The little, the little foxes

  649. that spoil the vine so and so didn't say hi to me so and so

  650. didn't talk to me like I thought they should.

  651. I didn't like the way Brianna got up here and talked to.

  652. Us like we were a team. I didn't like that.

  653. I mean, we have all these little things that we nitpick and we

  654. come at each other and we have offences towards each other.

  655. You need to let those things go. You need to realize that this is

  656. not about you. I don't know if you knew that or

  657. not. This is not about you.

  658. It's not about me. It's about the Kingdom of God

  659. advancing on the earth. Why In Malachi, the scripture

  660. says why did God make the family and why did he make them one?

  661. Why? For godly offspring, it says he

  662. asks the question and then it tells you the answer.

  663. For godly offspring, why? So that the Kingdom of heaven

  664. would just keep advancing on the earth, just keep moving on the

  665. earth, and we're making influence.

  666. But if we're out of control and our kids are out of control and

  667. our life is a mess and we've got chaos all around us, how are we

  668. going to go out when they're when they're going to look at us

  669. and say, well, you're not any different.

  670. You're just as stressed as I am. You're just as worried as I am.

  671. You're in just as much bondage as I am.

  672. We got to make sure that we're dealing with our own selves and

  673. getting unified, get unified with God.

  674. What God says about you. He said that you're free.

  675. He said that you're free. Indeed, he says that you don't

  676. have to live in bondage anymore. You don't have to live that way

  677. anymore. So what you choose every day is

  678. up to you. So when you get up every day.

  679. This is on page 50. I'll get back to this in a

  680. minute. When you get up every day the

  681. Bible says today I've set before you life and death.

  682. Choose life, Choose life. So it so he gives you the

  683. multiple choice and gives you the answer.

  684. When you wake up in the morning, You going to choose life?

  685. Are you going to choose death? Oh, I have so much to do.

  686. Oh, I don't feel good. Whatever it is.

  687. Are you going to get up and go? God, I thank you.

  688. Lord, this is the day that you made.

  689. What is it that you've called me to do?

  690. What is it that you want me to say today?

  691. When I'm in a workplace? What it where?

  692. Where is it I'm supposed to go? Am I supposed to go this way

  693. now? I'm not talking about being

  694. goofy and saying what? Shirt.

  695. Am I supposed to wear today? Just put your clothes on.

  696. Just put your clothes on and get out there.

  697. Do something. Don't be kooky weird

  698. spiritually. Just get your Put your big girl

  699. pants on and your big boy pants on and get out there and do it.

  700. Quit leaving the house naked. The scripture says to put on

  701. your clothes. Put on every day.

  702. Not your natural clothes, but your spiritual clothes.

  703. Put them on. Put on your armor.

  704. Every day I've got my helmet of salvation on.

  705. I've got my breast plate of righteousness.

  706. I've got the sword of the Spirit.

  707. I've got my feet fitted with these boots that I love.

  708. Or the the gospel of peace. I meant my belt With the the

  709. belt of truth buckled around my waist.

  710. I can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil.

  711. All of them. Quit leaving the house without

  712. your clothes on. Because when you leave and

  713. you're frazzled and you're not in unity and unified with the

  714. body of Christ and the word of God, then it messes you up and

  715. it puts you in a mental position where you don't feel worthy.

  716. You don't feel worthy to minister to anybody, and so you

  717. won't. No more, no more.

  718. This church how good and how pleasant.

  719. It is for brethren to dwell together in uni.

  720. That's where God commands the blessing.

  721. That's where the blessing is Philippians chapter 2.

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  722. Therefore, if there's any consolation in Christ, if

  723. there's any comfort of love, if there's any fellowship of the

  724. Spirit, any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like

  725. minded, having the same love, being of 1 accord, 1 accord, one

  726. mind. Let nothing be done through

  727. selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind.

  728. Let each esteem others better than himself.

  729. Do we do that. Let each of you look out not

  730. only for your own interests, but also for the interests of

  731. others. 1st Corinthians 110 Now plead with you, brethren.

  732. By the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, That you all speak the

  733. same thing, that there be no divisions among you, but that

  734. you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same

  735. judgment. What would it look like if we

  736. all had the same mind? I wish I could see all of your

  737. minds right now and what you're thinking and what's happening

  738. right now. What if we all had the same

  739. mind, the mind of Christ? What if we all thought on and

  740. meditated on the scripture says meditate day and night meditated

  741. on what he says about us? What if we all did that?

  742. Do you believe that God is searching like the scripture

  743. says, the the the earth. He's searching the earth looking

  744. for someone whose heart is in unity with his looking for

  745. someone whose heart is looking for a body of believers who are

  746. joined together of the same mind, the same heart in one

  747. accord. He's look, what's he going to

  748. do? And he's looking.

  749. Out. And he sees that church right

  750. there. That church are, they're

  751. unified. They're one.

  752. They're thinking the same thing. They're saying the same thing.

  753. Oh man, I got some territory for them to take over.

  754. I got some things for them to do.

  755. We got to get in unity. Acts Chapter 2 says that they

    Acts 2 chapter mention

  756. were with one accord in one place, not doing their own

  757. thing. And you know Ephesians Chapter

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  758. 4, Pastor Mike talked about it on these Wednesday nights.

  759. You know when he's called us in the the ministry to equip the

  760. Saints for the work of the ministry, it says until we all

  761. come to the unity of the faith, The unity of the faith, Jesus

  762. said, I, Lord, I pray that they would be one like we are one.

  763. I pray that they would be. One.

  764. Now let's look at a type and shadow real quick from Second

    2 Chronicles 5 chapter mention

  765. Chronicles chapter 5 of What this Unity.

  766. Looks like when a church does it.

  767. Second Chronicles, chapter 5, verse one.

    2 Chronicles 5 chapter mention

  768. So all the work that Solomon had done for the House of the Lord

  769. was finished. And Solomon brought in the

  770. things which his father David had dedicated the silver and the

  771. gold and all the furnishings, and he put them in the

  772. treasuries of the House of God. Verses two through 10 is them

  773. bringing the ark into the temple.

  774. Let's jump down to verse 11, it says.

  775. And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most

  776. Holy Place, for the priests who were present had sanctified

  777. themselves. Without keeping to their

  778. divisions, and the Levites, who were singers, all of those of

  779. Asaph and Heman and Jedophant, with their sons and their

  780. brethren, stood at the East End of the altar, clothed in white

  781. linen, having symbols, stringed instruments, and harps, and with

  782. them 120 priests sounding with trumpets.

  783. Verse 13 Indeed, it came to pass when the trumpeters and the

  784. singers were as one. To make one sound to be heard,

  785. and praising and thanking the Lord.

  786. And when they lifted up their voice with their trumpets and

  787. symbols and instruments of music and praise the Lord saying For

  788. He is good and His mercy endures forever.

  789. That the house. This is what happened, that the

  790. house, the House of the Lord was filled with a cloud so that the

  791. priest could not even continue ministering because of the

  792. cloud. For the glory of the Lord filled

  793. the House of God. These people were one.

  794. They they made one sound to be heard.

  795. One sound. What is it like?

  796. You know how you know what it's like when you hear a choir?

  797. When you hear a choir making one sound all in harmony?

  798. There's something about it. What if we're all making one?

  799. We're not a choir. I'm not saying we're a choir in

  800. here. But we're all making one sound,

  801. one heart, one mind. 1 unification with the word of

  802. God. And we're saying here we are.

  803. We're we're here, pastor. We're here to receive our

  804. orders. We're ready to ignite the city.

  805. We're ready to impact the nation.

  806. We're ready to influence the world.

  807. What is it? What is it?

  808. You've called us to come in and unify on today instead of coming

  809. in here for us. You know, years ago the Lord had

  810. spoke to me about when David used to go in and play for Saul,

  811. and he was tormented. And every time David went in and

  812. played for him, he got peace and he got relief.

  813. And then and then when David left, the torment came right

  814. back. And and unfortunately, sometimes

  815. we come into the church that way and we come into the church and

  816. we're we're hurting and we're broken.

  817. And we just want some relief. And we come in here and we get

  818. some relief and then we go out there and we're in the same

  819. mindset and we're in the same brokenness.

  820. When God has called us to live in victory every day, all the

  821. time at home. Coming in here is for us, the

  822. churches, the the pillar and support of truth.

  823. So we come in here, we're just getting our getting our orders,

  824. getting what we need to go out and do what we're called to do.

  825. Getting in unity, enjoying the joy of being with other

  826. believers. That's what we're called here to

  827. do. Not that every time we come up

  828. in here, we're having to lay our stuff down at the altar.

  829. We're having to get our heart right because that's where Angie

  830. made me mad. We're having to make all these

  831. internal adjustments with each other.

  832. When God's saying get your focus off those little foxes that keep

  833. spoiling your vine and get at get in here, get unified, get

  834. your mind on what it's supposed to be on, and let's go out here

  835. and take the city for the Kingdom of God.

  836. That's what he's called us to do.

  837. You know, I can sense it even right now in this body that that

  838. some of us are like, Oh my God, what is her deal?

  839. Like, why is she spitting everywhere?

  840. Like, like, we're so caught up. Come on, I need you to.

  841. I need you to get out of it. We're so caught up with our own

  842. stuff. I want to.

  843. I want to come out and just kind of shake you.

  844. I I just want to come out and and jump on top of you or

  845. something and say, can you not see the cry?

  846. Can you not see the brokenness that's right in front of you

  847. Everywhere you go? Can you not see it?

  848. When you're driving down the road and people are shooting you

  849. #1, can you not see it? People are hurting, People are

  850. broken. People need Jesus.

  851. They need the Kingdom of God. How are they going to know if we

  852. don't take it to them? The Bible says how beautiful are

  853. the feet of those who go and do it.

  854. You don't have to wait for a mission trip.

  855. This city is your mission. This city is your call.

  856. It's what you're called to do. It's what you're called to do.

  857. We got to get together and get in unity and say where we

  858. received the rally cry, we're going to do it.

  859. Let's March out and do it. Let's go out and take dominion

  860. in our city. People are coming to this church

  861. because the Holy Ghost is leading them.

  862. But I'm going to tell you the number one way people come.

  863. It's their relationship. You've got to start connecting

  864. with people. When years ago, when I was

  865. working at the detention center, hey, Cody, when I was working at

  866. the detention center in Tulsa, OK.

  867. When I went in there, they knew I was a Rhema student.

  868. And so, you know, they didn't know me, so.

  869. So they just want to make sure, don't you come up in here and

  870. start preaching to these people and these kids, these girls.

  871. And so they were like, you can't talk about God.

  872. You can't talk about God unless they ask you.

  873. And I said that is fine, that is no problem.

  874. That's how I like to operate anyway.

  875. So I said OK, and so my prayer was God with every touch, with

  876. every word, with every, every time I play basketball with

  877. them, every time I whatever I do with them.

  878. That they sense your love, that they sense your presence, and

  879. that they ask. And they did.

  880. And they asked several, several of them asked at different

  881. times. When we worked at the boys home

  882. here in Saint Augustine, we couldn't necessarily go up in

  883. there and force them to come to. Church and and force them to

  884. believe God. So our prayer was God.

  885. When we're here, God's here you're here.

  886. And if you're here, then they can't help but change because

  887. your presence is here. And we saw a lot of healing.

  888. These are the signs and the wonders that are supposed to

  889. follow you because you're truly loving people, that you're just

  890. going out and developing relationships with them,

  891. developing a friendship with them, inviting them over for

  892. dinner. And because they know you really

  893. love them, they know you really care.

  894. Then when you, when you say come to church with me, then they're

  895. apartment to do it. Yesterday I met Barbara when we

  896. were doing our Osceola make a Difference day and she came

  897. because she lives by Marissa and and they were just Marissa was

  898. walking her dog. You were walking your dog and

  899. Barbara was walking her OK walking the dog and and you know

  900. just started having conversation and just eventually just said

  901. you know you want to come to church with me and and here she

  902. is and not only here she is she's hooked up connected now

  903. and and a a member of our church and that's how it happens not

  904. because Marissa said oh koramaki love love and and slapped her

  905. and said you got a demon in you come out that's weird.

  906. That's weird. And it doesn't mean that you

  907. can't ever, and you won't ever and God won't ever call you.

  908. When we were at the group home one time, there was a boy who

  909. was literally. Possessed with a demon.

  910. Literally possessed with a demon.

  911. And there we had to put a physical restraint on him, which

  912. they allowed back in the day. They don't allow it now, but you

  913. know anyway, let me be quiet. So.

  914. So I can't remember I had restrained.

  915. Or you had restrained. I think he had restrained him

  916. anyway, I had looked at him and said I'm going to do it because

  917. we both knew there's a demon here and we got to deal with the

  918. demon. And so we cast that demon out.

  919. And when we did, when we cast that demon out, that boy who was

  920. flipping all around, got up and sat on his bed and was just

  921. limp, kind of started drooling for a minute.

  922. Just was kind of limp for a minute because that demon had

  923. possessed him. It wasn't just a demonic

  924. oppression, it was a possession. And so there's times that that's

  925. going to happen. There's times that you're going

  926. to need to do things like that, but you better be led by the

  927. Holy Ghost. Because if not, you're going to

  928. cause people to be like you're weird.

  929. And no, I don't want to come to your church.

  930. Never. Never.

  931. I'll never come. But but that's not this church.

  932. We need to learn how to to have wisdom and love people and

  933. embrace them. Love on them, no matter what

  934. their lifestyle is. Love on them.

  935. Let me wrap this up. Matthew 28.

  936. When it says go into all the nations and make disciples, that

  937. word nations is ethnos and it means every ethnic group.

  938. It means gentile nations who don't believe.

  939. So when it tells us again, go into all the world and go into

  940. all the nations, quit thinking it's another country.

  941. It's right here. It's right here where you are,

  942. Luke 6. But if you love those who love

  943. you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who

  944. love them. And if you do good to those who

  945. do good to you, what credit is that to you?

  946. For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from

  947. whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you?

  948. For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.

  949. But love your enemies. Love your enemies.

  950. Love your enemies. Do good and lend, hoping for

  951. nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you

  952. will indeed I'm adding the word indeed be sons of the Most High,

  953. for he is kind to the unthankful and the evil.

  954. He is kind. To them, God himself is kind to

  955. the unthankful. And to the evil should we be

  956. therefore be merciful, just as your father also is merciful.

  957. John 435 In the Passion translation, as the crowds

  958. immersed from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, Why would

  959. you say the harvest is another four months away?

  960. Look at all the people coming. Now is harvest time.

  961. Their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain ready

  962. for harvest. It's harvest time.

  963. Look around you. Schools are short staffed,

  964. businesses are short staffed, There's volunteer positions that

  965. are needed. And everywhere you go,

  966. everywhere you go, Psalm 34, verses 15 through 18, says.

    Psalms 34:15–18

  967. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are

  968. attentive to their cry. But the face of the Lord is

  969. against those who do evil to blot out their name from the

  970. earth. The righteous cry out, and the

  971. Lord hears them, and he delivers them from all their troubles.

  972. Verse 18. The Lord is close to the broken

  973. hearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit.

  974. If He's close to the broken hearted, should we?

  975. Should we be? I think about the story in the

  976. Bible about the unjust judge and the widow that just kept going

  977. to him. And I think about, you know,

  978. things that are happening in our government that may not, that

  979. may be corrupt, it may not be right even in our city, that may

  980. not be right that the Scripture gives a picture, that she just

  981. was persistent. She just didn't stop.

  982. She wasn't moved by his. No, she wasn't moved by what he

  983. was saying. She just kept going.

  984. And finally he said because of her persistence, fine, I'll give

  985. it to you. And and and what are some things

  986. that we're getting nose on? What are some things that we're

  987. getting, maybe getting some kick back on.

  988. But we need to keep going, keep being persistent, keep pursuing

  989. those buildings that we need. Keep pursuing those businesses

  990. that should be turned over. Keep pursuing those lands in

  991. those houses that we should be taking.

  992. Don't take no. Don't quit it.

  993. No. Be persistent, Psalm 147.

  994. Three. He heals the broken hearted, and

  995. he binds up their wounds, healing their pain and

  996. comforting their sorrow. I want to go through a list of

  997. some of the things as we close that we do here in our church.

  998. We do. We are partner with Osceola,

  999. which I already mentioned to you, and we have a faithful

1000. team, really, of about four people every week.

1001. They come in here and pack 110 bags and they come in here on

1002. Wednesday and we have someone who delivers them to the school,

1003. to families that need them. Every week we do this our.

1004. Partnership with them, we We give cupcakes a business in our

1005. church. We give cupcakes to two teachers

1006. a month to appreciate them in our school.

1007. We're there to say whatever you need.

1008. We'll do it for several years in a row.

  1009. They've needed basketball coaches.

1010. I coached for a couple of years. Coach Fred is still coaching

  1011. there. They need coaches.

1012. I know to Tyus stepped up and and took the Murray coaching

1013. position. I'm telling you, people are

1014. falling by the wayside because of things going on in their

1015. personal lives and mentally people are not able to handle

1016. it. And we're there to help them,

1017. but we're also there to step in and say I got this, I'll do

1018. this, I'll take care of this. There's there's team after team

1019. after team in our city that need to be coached.

1020. Can you coach A-Team? Can you step in and and coach a

1021. cheerleading squad? Step in and and volunteer in

1022. these positions so that you can start to love on these people.

1023. Love on these kids. To Tyus and Murray, we painted I

1024. put on here. We painted a mural at Osceola,

1025. the elementary school. Todd and Brianna actually

1026. painted this awesome mural. The principal.

1027. Called anytime they need something, they'll call me and

1028. say, hey, you got anybody that could paint this cool?

1029. This new principal came in this cool, this cool mural on our

1030. wall because I wanted to like pop and be exciting.

1031. I was like, yes, we do. Todd and Brianna did that

1032. probably about a year ago. Was that about a year ago?

1033. And The funny thing was, he wasn't.

1034. Wasn't actually supposed to do that and kind of got a slap on

1035. the hand for doing it. But it looks awesome.

1036. It looks really good and and they joke about it,

1037. Superintendent, they all joke about it because it wasn't

1038. really in the protocol. But he he's a great principal

1039. and he just wanted to come in and and do something.

1040. But people in our body go in and say we got it.

1041. We've got many artists in our body that can come and come and

1042. do that. Our faith-based board meetings,

1043. we attend those, we go to those and we find out what's going on

1044. in the county, what's happening in our schools, how we can

1045. partner with other schools. You know, there's a lot of other

1046. schools that have needs but we're doing so much at Osceola,

1047. we can't take over all of them. But but there are more that we

1048. probably could do if we had more people say, hey, I want to help,

1049. I could do that. I can come pack some bags, come

1050. come pack some snacks. These things bring connections.

1051. Feeding our Pedro football team, jumping in and and and getting

1052. food. Say I'll make the lasagna.

1053. I'll do that and realize your reward is great for doing those

  1054. things. It's not a chore.

1055. It's not something just like Brianna said, you we can't just

1056. come up here and be like I have to, have to.

1057. Praise God, I have to lift my hands.

1058. I have to. Oh my gosh, what a blessing to

1059. be able to serve and to be able to give.

1060. God truly is going to bless you. Bless not only your heart, but

1061. bless your life, your finances, everything when you.

1062. Learn how to say I'm going to take my focus off of me and I'm

1063. just going to give. I'm just going to give my life

1064. jail ministry, the jail ministry.

1065. We have the men's and the women's jail ministry going on.

1066. Pastor Marcus and some other men just went and did a Kingdom rise

1067. in our in our jail ministry, in our women's ministry.

1068. We go through a a book, a Bible study with them.

1069. You know those the, the women up in the jail can get on iPads and

1070. can talk to you. They can send you a message and

1071. text you and and I do that with some of the women.

1072. Maybe some of us could do that with some of the women.

1073. Just that's when I have the most conversation with them is when

1074. they say, hey, Pastor Angie, answer this.

1075. For me, what is it? What does the Bible mean when it

1076. says this and we are able to talk back and forth that way?

1077. Jail, ministry. We need more people.

1078. We need more people for that. Our detention centers.

1079. I'm going to find out about getting in our detention

1080. centers. We need people to step up.

1081. And get involved in that W Augustine, as you know man,

1082. we've had such a great turn out. I want to say thank you for all

1083. that you've done getting involved in our W Augustine

1084. community. You know, the new guy that came

1085. in and and started leading that organization said who are these

1086. people that show up all the time?

1087. Who are these people that are that are here faithfully serving

1088. all the time? And they said that's Anchor

1089. Faith Church. And he said, I want to meet with

1090. them. And so they came here and met

1091. with me and then pastor and I went and met with them.

1092. And they're like, we need you to actually be on the board and

1093. make decisions because because this Saint Augustine, this West

1094. Augustine youth development, and it's not just about football,

  1095. it's about it's about transforming the whole W

1096. Augustine community. How can we come in there and how

1097. can we help do that? We need people.

1098. We need you. We need all.

1099. Of us to step up and do that? Flagler feeding money.

1100. Give give to that cause for feeding our teams.

1101. They're so blessed every time we do it, let's just keep feeding.

1102. I want to feed them every chance we get, every home game, some

1103. away games even before they leave.

1104. Make sure you're given towards that.

1105. Dining with Dignity, Feeding the Homeless partnership, That's

1106. another ministry that we've joined in on.

1107. What a blessing. If you've never been a part of

1108. that, you got to go through the right channels.

1109. But jump in and love on these people.

1110. We've been asked to take over Rick's family.

1111. Christmas on Christmas Day, right, Christmas Day where we

1112. minister to people love on people see them get born again

1113. feed them. There are things happening where

1114. we're we're like yeast kind of making our way out into this

1115. community. And I'm telling you, you want to

1116. be a part of it. You want to be a part of it.

1117. Families count. You've heard me talk about

1118. families count. There's some exciting thing

1119. things happening with that where where DCF has it and it's in the

1120. process of getting reviewed so that we can get it actually

1121. either court mandated or just judicially approved.

1122. So that it automatically is one that Family Integrity says you

1123. need to go to Anchor Face parenting class for.

1124. For people who are about to lose custody or have lost custody of

1125. their kids, we have a few people in this congregation today that

1126. have been through. Our family's class counts class

1127. and we want that to be. In fact, it's already being

1128. talked about because I had someone from Family Integrity

1129. call me the other day and said, hey, when's your next parenting

1130. class? I heard about it.

1131. We had a local shelter just a couple of months ago.

1132. Call us and say, hey, we heard about this mentoring you're

1133. doing through this family's count.

1134. Are you mentoring? Will you just mentor anyone?

1135. And I said I would love to, but I can't fit it on my schedule.

1136. But I wonder who could? I wonder in this body who could,

1137. who could step up and say I want to be a mentor to somebody

1138. that's living in the the shelter that needs just some guidance

1139. here and there and help them. That's for us.

1140. That's for all of us. Anila attends our county

1141. Commission meetings, our, our government things that are going

1142. on. Who else can show up for those

1143. things? Who else can get involved and be

1144. a part and run for different things that pop up, different

1145. offices that pop up? But we want you to know what

1146. you're doing. Have some wisdom, OK?

1147. Not just, not just. I want to be political and I

1148. want to, you know, just jump in here and have a voice.

1149. No, You want to actually have some wisdom and know what needs

1150. to happen According to the Bible, Saint Gerard, we help

1151. there, our town halls. We have people come to our town

1152. halls, our local parades. You know, we've we've built

1153. floats before in years past for our parades.

1154. And those were fun. We could do it again.

1155. It's just a way for us to be a face in the community, you know?

1156. I don't know if you saw recently on Facebook our mall.

1157. The mall was being talked about and there was somebody.

1158. Took a picture of the Christmas decorations.

1159. And said what? What's happening in there?

1160. And they had this. I read the thread and it's like

1161. I thought it was just a church. What's going on?

1162. And people were saying, no, there's businesses.

1163. They're bringing them all back to life.

1164. It was all pretty positive and all these people were like, I'm

1165. coming, I'm coming to visit, I'm coming to see it.

  1166. I'm telling you, there's a moving, there's a shaking,

1167. there's an igniting happening in our city and you need to get

1168. fired up about it. You need to get ignited yourself

1169. about it. Matthew chapter 10, Matthew

Matthew 10 chapter mention Matthew 10:5–8

1170. chapter 10 verses 5 through 8 says Jesus sent his 12 harvest

1171. hands out with this charge. Don't begin by traveling to some

1172. far off place to convert unbelievers, and don't try to be

1173. dramatic by tackling some Public Enemy.

1174. Go to the lost, confused people right here in your neighborhood.

1175. Tell them that the Kingdom is here.

1176. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead.

1177. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons.

1178. You've been treated generously, so live generously.

1179. Don't think you have to put on a fundraising campaign before you

1180. start. You don't need a lot of

1181. equipment. You are the equipment.

1182. You are the equipment worship team.

1183. You can come. We've got to start going to

1184. these places, local shelters. He is kind to the unthankful and

1185. the evil. God is kind to them.

1186. First, Peter 29 says. You are a chosen generation, a

1187. royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own special people, that you

1188. may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness

1189. and into this marvelous light. Let me say this to you.

1190. You got to forget those things that are behind.

1191. You know, in Philippians chapter 3, it says one thing I do is

    Philippians 3 chapter mention

1192. forget those things which are behind and I'm straining forward

1193. towards the mark of the call That's in Christ Jesus, you

1194. know, and in Joshua. God had to tell Joshua, listen,

1195. Moses is dead. I need you to go in and I need

1196. you to take the land, and I need you to understand that every

1197. place that you put your foot is yours.

1198. And I I sensed when I was studying this morning that that

1199. we need to to to forget those things that are behind those

1200. things that are weighing us down, that that are causing us

1201. not to to step up and say, I'm going to, I'm going to put my

1202. foot on the land. I'm going to, I'm going to put

1203. my foot in the city. I'm going to step into this

1204. school and and and start being yeast in this place.

1205. Sometimes we're still carrying the weight of our past and God

1206. does not want you to carry any kind of weight, any kind of

1207. heaviness. You going to start remembering

1208. to forget, remember to forget, forget those things that are

1209. behind and press on towards the call.

1210. You're anointed. The Scripture says the Spirit of

1211. the Lord God is upon you because he's anointed you to set the

1212. captives free. He's anointed you to proclaim

1213. liberty. He's anointed you to give them

1214. beauty for ashes. He's anointed you to do that.

1215. You know God always chose a man and a woman.

1216. He always chose a man. He always chose a woman.

1217. He's choosing and has chosen us. He's chosen you, but you've got

1218. to lay aside every way everything that so easily

1219. entangles you. Thank you so much for listening
