  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. All right.

  4. But if you have your Bibles turn over to Mark chapter 16, verse

    Mark 16:15

  5. 15, I want to kind of continue in the vein that Pastor Angie

  6. was on assignment last week. In fact, you know, before I ever

  7. go out of the out of town. I I just don't let our, you

  8. know, I don't have people that I'm thinking of and say, OK if

  9. I'm not here so and so is ministering.

  10. You know, I'm always thinking in fact there's many times we get

  11. in our staff meeting they're like, you know you hadn't

  12. assigned anyone to minister. I said, well I hadn't got

  13. someone yet. It's not because I couldn't just

  14. pick people at random. That's pretty simple.

  15. But you know, sometimes I do. I mean often and always I know

  16. that God wants to utilize the gifts within the body.

  17. And so, you know, you want to be able to pick the ones that God's

  18. saying, I need them to release something.

  19. And so, you know, I pick accordingly to that.

  20. And so and then sometimes they'll ask pastor, what do you

  21. want me to minister on? And you know, sometimes, and

  22. they can do, you know, they can testify sometime, like, man,

  23. whatever's in your heart, you know, because I trust the Holy

  24. Ghost in them. You know, I'm with them day in

  25. and day out and I understand they're going to minister.

  26. A lot of times they'll joke around that, you know, they're

  27. going to reveal the Antichrist while I'm gone and stuff like

  28. that. But you know, obviously they

  29. never do that. But with that being said, you

  30. know, we you give them liberty, but sometimes you just kind of

  31. get it in your heart that I need them to mine out a specific

  32. subject. Because you know the gift that

  33. they are or they're going to tackle that subject different

  34. than I would. And so I give assignments and so

  35. I gave an assignment you know to them this time all of them

  36. actually. It seemed that it was right that

  37. I needed them to administer what they were specifically doing in

  38. the things that we're doing in our community are so

  39. overwhelming. It's almost you almost have to

  40. step back and take your breath and and you're like.

  41. Can we do that? Can we do that Now?

  42. There's a statement that I make in our vision partnership.

  43. And I say this, I said, you know, because you're here, we

  44. can now accomplish some things because the reality is there's

  45. some things we want to accomplish, but it requires the

  46. personnel to accomplish it because it was never my task to

  47. do so. You know, I feel like, you know,

  48. there's a great biblical example of that is that there became a

  49. challenge in the community with feeding widows.

  50. And so they came to the leadership of the church, the

  51. apostle, and said, look, you know, we got some widows here

  52. who's not getting fed, right? And we need to do something

  53. about it. Well, the apostle Peter was

  54. like, look, that's not our assignment.

  55. Not that we can't do it, but at the end of the day, that's not

  56. our assignment. We're bigger than just us.

  57. So here's the candidates that would be qualified in order to

  58. feed widows. And that was a pretty high

  59. standard. They had to be full of the Holy

  60. Ghost and wisdom. They weren't people that just

  61. got into the Kingdom of God. And so they're like, you know,

  62. these are the ones we're looking for.

  63. Well, one person started this ministry of feeding widows.

  64. His name was Stephen and he became a powerhouse.

  65. Just because he answered a call to help the community through

  66. the church. I said through the church and it

  67. developed his gift. And his gift was so powerful

  68. that it made Jesus stand up. Come on, let that sink in, that

  69. at his stoning, Jesus gives him a a standing ovation gets up off

  70. his throne. Wow.

  71. And that ministry started because he met a need in the

  72. community through the church, you know, So what we're doing is

  73. way bigger than all of us. And but it takes every one of us

  74. to accomplish it and to do it selflessly to really start

  75. functioning as the church was designed.

  76. And we're going to have that church here.

  77. Now. You got to ask yourself, are you

  78. going to be a part of that or not?

  79. And that's totally up to you. But it's going to happen here.

  80. It's going to happen on this property.

  81. It's going to happen through this thing called Anchor Fay

  82. Church, not only in this location, but in Valdosta, in

  83. Nicaragua and Dominican Republic and in India.

  84. And every location we have is going to manifest, because Jesus

  85. Christ is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle.

  86. A place where they grow in love towards one another, where

  87. they're unified around the vision and they do it selflessly

  88. in love with one another. Seeking first the Kingdom.

  89. It's going to happen, and I know it's going to happen because God

  90. said it would happen that there would be a church at the end

  91. that was greater than the former one because the latter rain is

  92. better than the former rain. And we're going to mature and

  93. we're going to be doing the great exploits.

  94. We're going to look like the the world has never seen the church

  95. like it has now. They're going to be

  96. counterfeits. I get it.

  97. There's always a counterfeit because the devil's always

  98. trying to counterfeit God. But the authentic and real will

  99. be here, and we're going to be those people, period.

  100. So just position yourself to be that.

  101. But in Mark chapter 16 verse 15 and said, he said to them go

    Mark 16:15

  102. into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

  103. And I love how Pastor Angie communicated once again that

  104. world is not Planet Earth. It is the systems that are

  105. within the world, that is the sectors of society.

  106. And she broke down those sectors of society once again for you.

  107. And if you did not hear that message last week, you need to

  108. go online and listen to it, OK? And so many people have gotten

  109. this completely wrong because they say all we got to go into

  110. all the world, and they're thinking nations only, and

  111. they're not even thinking about the sectors of society.

  112. And you know, and and your Commission to go tomorrow, today

  113. you're to go. And the minute you go to Publix,

  114. you're in a sector of society. It's called business.

  115. Are you hearing me? You're already in a place of the

  116. world, a cosmos, a order arranged way that something

  117. functions that you're the light of Jesus Christ to shine.

  118. Not only you're the light, but you're the righteousness of God

  119. in Christ. Which means if you've been made

  120. righteous by Christ, you ought to reflect that righteousness.

  121. So again, when you're out doing something, it's not your work,

  122. but it is the work that God did in you, so you ought to do it.

  123. Our righteous work should be demonstrated and we are to go

  124. into every sector of society. There's not one that we should

  125. not penetrate, and we are, as a church are not technically

  126. penetrating them all at this juncture.

  127. But God has given us a plethora of opportunities starting to

  128. show up. And so really, you have to start

  129. really shifting your mind through that word.

  130. Repent. Cause repent is not a religious

  131. word. It's not getting born again.

  132. It means change your thinking and you're ready to change your

  133. thinking about how you're engaged in the world.

  134. Because your first number one priority is not your family, it

  135. is your Lord Jesus #1. And he wants you to affect your

  136. family by living God in front of your family and worshipping him

  137. first. Now I can answer Pastor Marcy's

  138. question of why men struggle is because they were given the

  139. mandate. First let us make man in our

  140. image according to our likeness and let him have dominion.

  141. And he took Adam without Eve, placed him in the garden, and

  142. said This is the assignment. Because man fell from dominion,

  143. man always struggles in this system of wanting to fulfill the

  144. higher call. Because Adam was perfect and

  145. failed, we were acquainted with not doing it God's way, so we

  146. can go back to doing it our way a lot easier, especially.

  147. When we have lazy teaching concerning the grace of God and

  148. other things that are basically trying to empower people to not

  149. actually live by faith or follow the voice and command of God, we

  150. don't teach lordship correctly. Where again, lordship is just a

  151. prayer in your heart That's not Lordship.

  152. Lordship is. You have it all.

  153. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And so we are to go into every

  154. part of the world and preach the gospel.

  155. Now we know the gospel. The gospel is not only that

  156. Jesus Christ died on the cross. That is the door.

  157. The gospel is the Kingdom. Jesus preached the gospel of the

  158. Kingdom. And the Kingdom is the good

  159. news. The good news is that all the

  160. jump that's going on in the world today is going to be

  161. fixed. Because a superpower, I said a

  162. superpower is already in the planet.

  163. And it's not China, it's not Russia, and it's sure in the

  164. United States, but it is the Kingdom of God and it's weapons

  165. and warfare are more powerful than the nukes that are in

  166. totality of every nation. We are superpower.

  167. We are supernatural power. And we are a nation that will

  168. live forever. And our King's coming back.

  169. I said Our King's coming back. All right.

  170. So Jesus, in order for us to fulfill the goal, we need to

  171. know why we're going and you know why you're going.

  172. And he kind of lets us in on this in Matthew Chapter 4.

    Matthew 4 chapter mention

  173. Pretty basic simple teaching I'm going to do today, but it's to

  174. stir you up in Matthew 417 starting Matthew 4 starting

  175. verse 17 'cause I want to set context with that verse and then

  176. we'll go down to verse 22. From that time Jesus began to

  177. preach saying repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

  178. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Jesus saying change your

  179. thinking. The kingdom's here.

  180. I said the kingdom's here. Now that he's delivered the

  181. message and he is in his ministry on his assignment to

  182. let the world know the Kingdom is back, it is in operation.

  183. And I'm gonna give you access to it.

  184. Yes. Hallelujah.

  185. I'm gonna give you access to it. Why 'cause I'm gonna die so I

  186. can reproduce after my own kind. I'm going to be the seed that

  187. goes in the ground. I'm the seed mentioned in

  188. Genesis Chapter 3. I'm the seed that's coming.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  189. And when I die, I'm going to bring forth the plant that's

  190. going to allow you to become my fruit.

  191. I'll be the vine and you'll be the branches.

  192. And if you'll remain in me, you're going to bear much fruit.

  193. You're going to produce the fruit of the Kingdom.

  194. You're going to operate in the Kingdom.

  195. You're going to be back underneath the rule of God.

  196. You're going to be able to function in the capacity that

  197. the Kingdom offers humanity. And so in order for that to take

  198. place, I'll die, but I'll be raised up.

  199. And when you call on my name and make me Lord, supreme in

  200. authority. Not the confession of where you

  201. go when you die. That's not Jesus.

  202. Jesus is not. Where am I going to go when I

  203. die. God.

  204. Jesus is Lord of my life now and then.

  205. He changes me now and then puts the third person of the Godhead

  206. in me now and makes me like him now and allows me to function

  207. like him now and like he was in the earth.

  208. I get to be like he was. Oh, well, that's better shout

  209. than that, but that's OK. So from there he says, OK, I'm

  210. deployed my message. Now it's time to recruit because

  211. I can't do it alone. I'm going to do my part that

  212. nobody else can do, but what I'm doing was never about me.

  213. Because if it was about Jesus, Jesus like I didn't sin, I

  214. haven't blown it. Jesus could literally be on the

  215. planet today. Literally.

  216. Because Jesus was a man who knew no.

  217. And the wages of sin is so Jesus should never.

  218. And if the devil would have known that, he would have said

  219. don't touch the guy, come on. Because if he doesn't die, he

  220. can't produce after his own kind.

  221. And he has still been here. But he didn't know because he's

  222. stuck in his cycle. He comes to kill.

  223. All right, let me have a water if you don't mind.

  224. Now as Jesus was walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two

  225. brothers. Simon, OK.

  226. Simon, who was called Peter, and Andrew, his brother, casting the

  227. net into the sea for their for they were fishermen, and he said

  228. to them, follow me and I'll make you fishers of men.

  229. Immediately they had left their Nets, and follow him.

  230. Going a little bit further, he saw two other brothers, James,

  231. the son of Zebedee and his, and John, his brother, in the boat

  232. with Zebedee, their father, mending their Nets.

  233. And he called them, and he said immediate called them.

  234. Immediately they left their boats.

  235. And their father and followed him.

  236. Notice the call to Lordship was they had to leave everything

  237. they left everything. Now you may not have to leave

  238. your job and we'll talk about that here in a minute, but you

  239. do have to leave your way of living.

  240. That has to happen. And so Jesus says, I've got a

  241. message, but I'm not here to do it alone.

  242. Because I'm going to do my part. Because after I do my part,

  243. which means I die and I raised from the dead, then I'm going to

  244. impart this same message into them because they'll be like me.

  245. And then they're going to go everywhere and begin to catch

  246. men, because it's not just about me.

  247. And since it's not about me, it's about.

  248. Everyone to have an opportunity to be what they originally were

  249. created to be, and that is man in the image of God having

  250. dominion, rulership, life with the Father alive to God again,

  251. he says. In order for this to take place,

  252. this organization has to grow and it must be a global one,

  253. which means I'm recruiting, I'm recruiting.

  254. You know, we have so much fallacy in the American church,

  255. OK, which is carrying over into the world because the problem,

  256. the the problem with that is, is we are the greatest senders or

  257. exporters. The United States exports is

  258. greatest export is missionaries. We export, export them to all

  259. kinds of nations. And the problem is, is they're

  260. actually taking some kinds of thinking concerning Jesus that

  261. isn't in its totality, the right lens.

  262. It can. It can get you born of God, but

  263. it doesn't tell you how you are to function as a child of God.

  264. Many are getting saved and waiting to die.

  265. And God never intended for your Christian existence to be

  266. waiting to die, nor to tell people to ask Jesus to come into

  267. the heart and save him and wait to die like you.

  268. Because Jesus wasn't walking around waiting to die.

  269. Jesus was transforming places. And so did the original apostles

  270. as well as the apostle Paul. They were community changers.

  271. I mean, they would go into places and people would

  272. abandoned their way of life, even their livelihood.

  273. In fact, Paul went into one location and the blacksmiths who

  274. made the idols realize what these guys were doing, that

  275. people were abandoning the craft or their their job.

  276. I mean, what they're manufacturing that they're like,

  277. we going to lose all of our money if this guy keeps

  278. preaching. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  279. And so they started a whole stir because they did not want to

  280. lose their livelihood, which ultimately was not life anyway.

  281. But we need to be changers within our community because

  282. again, we talk about the church without walls.

  283. OK, well, what's that mean? And how do we, how do we deploy

  284. ourselves then? Because, again, it's not because

  285. we don't lack opportunity. Now, there was a season of

  286. Anchorpate Church. That'd be 20 years in April.

  287. April be our 20th year of planning this church.

  288. And there were seasons that God wasn't giving us certain things

  289. because we sure weren't ready. I mean, we just working on us.

  290. Are you hearing me? And he gave us some assignments.

  291. We did a few things, But now we have shown ourselves so faithful

  292. that God has the world coming to us.

  293. And they're saying, what do you, what do you think, What can you

  294. do or could you get involved? How can you help?

  295. Now when they say you, they're not saying pastor Earl, I'm not

  296. the head of the church. I'm just pastor and for this

  297. ministry apostle. Of a work called Anchor Fay

  298. Church. Other than that, and then I'm

  299. still submitted under another organization called Rhema.

  300. Then I'm submitted to that leadership and if they need me

  301. to help do some things, I will. Which Pastor fought Meer and

  302. Pastor Bruna? She said.

  303. Pastor Earl, when you come back to Athens to teach at the

  304. schools, Rhema Bible Training colleges and Thessaloniki and

  305. Athens. And then also we're back in.

  306. When you go to Albania, I want you to preach on Kingdom

  307. economics, cause I've heard that you've the way you minister.

  308. We've not heard this. So that's my assignment when I

  309. go back is that we're going to take Dominionaire.

  310. Are you hearing me into these nations?

  311. Hallelujah. And we're working on that book

  312. right now. It's almost finished.

  313. Glory to God. Amen.

  314. So here we are. We've got to deploy ourselves,

  315. and we all have an assignment in it.

  316. And God, here to get his message out, says, I got to go

  317. recruiting. Now we typically look at the

  318. Matthew 4 and we stay focused on I'll make you fishers or men.

  319. And then we go into what we call evangelism.

  320. OK, Hallelujah. Now, I'm just going to be honest

  321. with you, most of the most of the evangelisms that's within

  322. churches today are religious programs.

  323. I'm just going to be honest. Now, I'm not going to tell you

  324. who that is and what it is. And I'm not asking you to go

  325. figure it out. I'm just telling you that they

  326. have formulized evangelism and it's not even in the model of

  327. the Bible. Because again, the 1st issue

  328. with evangelism is that you can't go talk to anybody you

  329. want to because Jesus is the Lord of the harvest and children

  330. of God are to be led by the Spirit of God.

  331. What you can do at full liberty is live your life in any place.

  332. That means nobody can stop your life from shining.

  333. Which means when you're in line and all of a sudden somebody's

  334. in the express lane and they don't know how to work in the

  335. machine and you start behind them now thinking surely you

  336. should have went to a cash register, you need help and it's

  337. express only 10 and you got 15, so why are you in this line

  338. anyway, right? And you're wanting to be

  339. aggravated, but you don't because you're eating your fruit

  340. and you're being patient and you're even starting to offer

  341. help. Would you like some help?

  342. I could scan that for you. I can help you out and you smile

  343. and you're all nice. Well, you know what?

  344. The person behind you may be aggravated and wondering why you

  345. can keep your calm now. They may never ask, but yet

  346. nobody can stop your life from shining.

  347. Meaning your character of the Kingdom has full display all the

  348. time and should be because somebody's watching you always

  349. you are in a glass house. Just know that, because even

  350. when you think that you're somewhere that nobody knows you,

  351. somebody knows you. I mean, the Lord does for sure,

  352. but you could be that one element in the midst of chaos

  353. that somebody's like something different about you.

  354. Reminds me of the testimony of Joshua Clay when he went into

  355. Dubai or one of our Middle Eastern country.

  356. And he needed to technically have a visa based upon having to

  357. come out of the system and go back in the way he bought

  358. flights. And so he heard he could get one

  359. there. But then they acted like, no,

  360. you couldn't. So they end up taking all the

  361. people who didn't technically have them and shove them in a

  362. room. And man, everybody was going

  363. crazy. But Joshua heard the Lord say

  364. it's going to be all right. So you know what he did?

  365. He just took a step back from everybody else that was crying,

  366. screaming, yelling about not being again on their next

  367. flight. And you understand the Arabs

  368. didn't care. They they are not moved by you.

  369. And in fact, they're a little put out that you're even coming

  370. through, just to be honest with you.

  371. You know, they're like, OK is an infidel.

  372. We got an infidel, We got a Westerner here.

  373. I'm not really excited about you, all right?

  374. I'm just going to let you know they're not excited about you.

  375. So with that being said, he just took a step back, right?

  376. And he got ended up having a conversation with the security

  377. people or whatever, TSA maybe, or whatever.

  378. And you know, he just stayed with the Holy Ghost.

  379. Well, next thing you know, this TSA guy, because Josh is acting

  380. in totally different culture, says you want some coffee?

  381. He said, oh, I love some coffee. So he got him a cup of coffee.

  382. And then people were like, where'd you get coffee from?

  383. He's like, well, TSA guy got it for me.

  384. All right. The next thing you know, he

  385. goes, where you going? He told me.

  386. He says, come on, come with me. They say, you know, he got him

  387. through. Now the guy doesn't know him,

  388. but the culture showed up. Now, he may not know you

  389. personally, but something can, and that's always on.

  390. Now you know what Joshua didn't do?

  391. He didn't say as he was transporting him to get his

  392. visa. Yeah, it's good.

  393. So if you were to die today, do you know where you'd go?

  394. Evangelism 101. I'm going to take you down the

  395. Romans Road. And he'd have took him back to

  396. the room and he'd have missed all of his flights because the

  397. Lord didn't need him to say something that day because the

  398. Lord was already talking another way.

  399. And so evangelism in and of itself has a lot of

  400. complications. And the reason why so many

  401. people are put off of the church today is because we have

  402. obnoxious, not spirit LED, but fear driven, fear messaging.

  403. What if you died today? Well, that's a great message,

  404. right, 'cause it's the kindness of God that leads people to

  405. repentance, not cause them to be afraid of going to hell.

  406. Now, some would say, well, man, I was afraid and I I got well, I

  407. get it, you know, hey, I can't help that.

  408. You know, you came in the wrong way.

  409. Now, I'm not saying you didn't come in, right?

  410. You asked cheese to be a part of your of your life, but again,

  411. you were basically kind of manipulated, OK?

  412. And I'm tell you right now, a lot of people who were afraid to

  413. go to hell, they don't have the same commitment in church, All

  414. right. But Jesus is going a whole

  415. another direction here when he says follow me.

  416. In order to understand this, you need to go over to Luke chapter

    Luke 5 chapter mention

  417. 5. I'm going to try to wrap this up

  418. in the next 15 minutes because we need to do water baptism in

  419. Luke chapter 5 verses one through 11.

    Luke 5 chapter mention

  420. It says this and this is the same context of Matthew chapter

    Matthew 4 chapter mention

  421. 4. And also Mark chapter one,

  422. because another context, Mark. And again we go, you know, we'll

  423. make you Fisher of men, make you Fisher of men.

  424. Now let's go evangelize in Romans Rd.

  425. Let's go and knock on every door.

  426. Let's ask people da da, da, da da da.

  427. And I'm not saying those methods didn't work and that people

  428. weren't generally changed. I'm not saying that.

  429. I'm just saying, if you want the biblical model, the biblical

  430. model is, is that you're just supposed to go into your sector

  431. of society, your community, and live it and hear God on how to

  432. say things. And when you do that, your

  433. success rate will go up. Because you need to understand

  434. that sometimes your conversation is not to win them, it's only to

  435. plant. And some of you is the water,

  436. not drown. You know, you can drown a seed.

  437. Somebody planted a seed about Jesus and they were leaning till

  438. you showed up and you drowned them.

  439. Now they want to undo Jesus, 'cause you're trying to drive it

  440. home. You don't have enough spiritual

  441. sensitivity to know that they're really not taking the bait,

  442. 'cause, you know, not everyone who goes fishing catches fish.

  443. Yeah, sometimes, just like you can't keep them off the hook.

  444. But then other times, I mean you're you're wondering, did

  445. they, is there any left in the water?

  446. But sometimes they'll tease you and you'll see them and you're

  447. like, seriously? But you know what?

  448. They ain't hungry for? What you offering at the end of

  449. the day. So there's no catch.

  450. And the reason why we as a church have to be understand the

  451. real evangelism that's in the Bible and why we're saying we

  452. have to mobilize in our community is because you

  453. understand sometimes it may take us years to get some, but if

  454. we're not in the area for years, we'll never reap it because we

  455. only see the work we do is when we come here and we do our

  456. internal stuff and then when the call to, hey, we've got this

  457. opportunity here and you could do this.

  458. Pastor Angie mentioned something about fathers, some program that

  459. the county's doing. And I thought to myself, well,

  460. yeah, we going to find out about that one because again, you

  461. shouldn't be graduating that many people with swords to hang

  462. on a Dang wall. Because at the end of the day,

  463. I'm not going to tell you that the child you going to mentor is

  464. going to come to Christ. But I can't tell you this.

  465. They won't go before the Lord with that, with the excuse that

  466. someone, their community, wasn't giving them the opportunity.

  467. At the end of the day, for some, we're going to be the Jeremiah

  468. too, which means we're going to tell the truth.

  469. We're going to prophecy, we're going to give them it, and

  470. they're not going to repent. It's going to happen.

  471. That's evangelism. Some you don't ever catch, but

  472. they still hear the message. But there are plenty that will

  473. and we would do more because more people are open to receive

  474. when you just keep showing up somewhere because I don't

  475. understand why. Netflix and Hulu.

  476. Hulu. Hulu.

  477. Hulu should get more time than an opportunity because at the

  478. end of the day on December the 12th at 5:00, if you take, if

  479. you're off, instead of going home to watch a segment of Fox

  480. News or CNN, you could come to the Flagler game and make an

  481. impression for an hour and a half and could change somebody's

  482. life for all eternity. And it doesn't mean all of us

  483. have to come, Although that would be really impressive just

  484. to let you know. Because it'd be pandemonium if

  485. we all showed up at once and started cheering for Flagler,

  486. right. That's why they called us on the

  487. 1st place because they saw, saw us show up at the Washington

  488. games. They're like, these people are

  489. fanatics. They're these are followers of

  490. these teams. Yes, These are our own Amen and

  491. we are all warriors at heart, right.

  492. OK, so let's go back-to-back. Luke 5 Luke 51 says now it

  493. happened that while a crowd was pressing around him and

  494. listening to the word of God, he was standing by the lake by this

  495. lake. Now notice in Matthew's account

  496. of 4/17, he said he went preaching.

  497. Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

  498. Then it goes on, he says as Jesus walked by.

  499. This is something happening at once.

  500. So Jesus is preaching repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at

  501. hand. He is literally ministering the

  502. word and he's by his lake and he comes around and he says two men

  503. saw two boats lying on the edge of the lake.

  504. But the fishermen had gotten out of them.

  505. They were washing their Nets. They had gotten into one of the

  506. boats. He had gotten into one of the

  507. boats, which was Simon's, asked Peter and asked him to put out a

  508. little bit from the land that he sat down and began teaching the

  509. people from the boat. So again, Matthew 417 has a lot

  510. more context in Luke chapter 5. So now he's in Peter's boat

    Luke 5 chapter mention

  511. preaching repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand while Peter

  512. and his brother Andrew and John and James are mending their Nets

  513. on the shore hearing the message.

  514. OK, so then he goes on and it says when he had finished

  515. speaking, he said to Simon, put down to the deep water and let

  516. down your net for catch. Simon answered and said to

  517. Jesus. He said, Master, we worked hard

  518. all night, called nothing, but I will do as you say, and let down

  519. the Nets. And when he had done this, they

  520. enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their Nets began to

  521. break. Now they have been in this same

  522. place all night long, and caught what?

  523. Nothing but at a word from the King.

  524. At a word from the King he goes on it says this, that that they

  525. enclosed so much that their Nets began to break.

  526. So they signal to their what to their partners in the other boat

  527. for them to come and help. And they came and filled both of

  528. the boats so that they began to what they began to sink.

  529. This is how much fish. But when Simon verse 8 Peter

  530. saw, he fell down at Jesus feet. Go away from me, Lord, for I'm a

  531. sinful man. For the amazement had seized him

  532. and all his companions because of the catch of fish which he

  533. had taken. And so also were James and John,

  534. the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon.

  535. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear, from now on you will be

  536. what catching men. And when they had brought their

  537. boats to land, they left everything and followed him.

  538. Now I find it interesting that Jesus's call to their call of

  539. apostleship happened in a sector of society.

  540. He met them at their place of business.

  541. He showed up at the business and was preaching to a crowd and

  542. then use one of their boats, fishing boats that they fished

  543. all night in and called nothing. Which means it's not good for

  544. the business or for the family. And Jesus uses this as a type

  545. and shadow of how we are going to catch the community.

  546. Are you hearing me how you catch the community?

  547. Because here's the thing, you can do all that you want to do

  548. all by yourself and you know and do your own programs.

  549. But if you'll do exactly what God says when he says, then you

  550. can maximize the results. Are you hearing me?

  551. So he goes into their sector of society, their business, and he

  552. says, listen, go ahead and launch out.

  553. Go into the deep and put your net down, of which he's taking

  554. the time to clean the whole thing up.

  555. Now in the US society today they'd be like, Nah, we'll do it

  556. tomorrow. Your Grace is sufficient with

  557. me. I'm going to say that again.

  558. Your Grace is sufficient with me.

  559. I'll do it tomorrow. So modern day Christianity is

  560. called laziness because we don't obey God when we hear him.

  561. We want to set the timetable when we going to obey because

  562. His grace, because it's really not what I do.

  563. Well, if you don't do it, when he said to do it because it's

  564. not you doing it anyway, it's you doing it at His word.

  565. But if you can't do it at His word when you want to, just ask

  566. the Israelites when they came back the next day and said OK,

  567. we'll take the promised land. Lord's like, forget about it.

  568. Don't be coming 24 hours later and tell me you ready now?

  569. Forget about it. Forget about it right?

  570. And again we are to obey the voice of the Lord even in this

  571. dispensation. We are to be out and about the

  572. Father's business doing what he says when he says and we will

  573. have the productivity. But here's the thing, he gives a

  574. word to one guy, Simon. So that tells me Simon must have

  575. been the head of the company. Simon go on out there.

  576. So Simon got the word from the Lord on what to do with the

  577. business. He let down his net and it was

  578. so much that he as the CEO of the company, could not pull it

  579. in by himself. And what does God teach him,

  580. Son? What I have for you, you just

  581. can't do alone. So let me just tell you this.

  582. If you're pushing out from the shore and you letting down your

  583. net and you can do everything in your ministry by yourself, well

  584. then it's yourself proclaimed ministry.

  585. Because when God gets involved, he's gonna let you know right

  586. out the gate. This is way bigger than you and

  587. you're gonna need some help and you're gonna need some partners,

  588. bro. You're gonna need some partners

  589. because Jesus is saying this. I just preached this Kingdom.

  590. I'm the one who's going to die on the cross and be raised from

  591. the dead. Nobody could do that but me.

  592. But yet I need me some partners. I need me some partners.

  593. I need some people that are going to the highway and the

  594. byway. They can go ahead of me and pray

  595. in this community. I need somebody to go lay hands

  596. on the sick before I show up so that when I show up they know

  597. what you did is what I bring. And so he proves this out that

  598. it was never about personal, but it was about partnership, It was

  599. about mobilization. And why is it mobilization?

  600. Because the Kingdom is an advancing force that is

  601. constantly moving and it's advancing and it's moving

  602. forward and it has buy in on all on everybody.

  603. God demands buy in. He demands it.

  604. It's not optional. It's not optional.

  605. This is fully committed to the vision you're assigned to, the

  606. place that he's given someone, oversight of your soul and you

  607. were to have total, complete spirit, soul and body buy in.

  608. It should be what you're eating and breathing and drinking every

  609. day of your life. You should wake up and say what

  610. in the world is Anchor Faith Church going to do in Saint

  611. Augustine today? Because I'm a part of a mighty

  612. moving force of God. God handpicked me.

  613. To be a part of a mighty moving force that can't be stopped, the

  614. gates of hell can't prevail against it, and even Chris, even

  615. religion can't stop me. I mean, I'm telling you right

  616. now, 2024, the Nets already been laid out and we are getting a

  617. glimpse of a catch that is so big.

  618. I'm having to say you need to get off the shore and get out

  619. here and help me pull this net in.

  620. You got to help me pull it in for the fatherless, for the

  621. widows, for the disadvantaged, for the businesses.

  622. I mean, God is just opening up so many doors, but you're going

  623. to have to say I'm all in. You eat.

  624. Breathe, shrink it. It's your identity, you say?

  625. Wait a minute. My identity's in Christ.

  626. Well, the last time I checked, Christ is the head of the

  627. church. So if you don't identify with

  628. the church, you don't even identify with Christ.

  629. You have a false religion. There's so much opportunity

  630. because I'm going to tell you right now, as Pastor Angie said

  631. last week, gosh, if you will do God's plan for your life, you're

  632. going to prosper on all fronts. Nothing can stop you.

  633. Nothing can stop you. Nothing got to give you so many

  634. creative ideas to free up your time, and some of your time is

  635. only where it's at because you're stuck in the wrong

  636. system. You're living your life based

  637. upon a world system and not a Kingdom system, and you got to

  638. reevaluate that because the coming to the Kingdom was never

  639. about going to heaven. Although you'll go, coming into

  640. the Kingdom was about you partnering with the head of the

  641. church himself and the vision he gives to the CEO of the church

  642. on earth called the Pastor, and together you changed the world.

  643. Leo, have we not done something in West Augustine already?

  644. And we're just getting started. And the opportunities abound.

  645. I mean, they abound. I'm telling you, if I personally

  646. tried to fill every role, there is not enough time in the day,

  647. but God never intended me to do it, he said.

  648. Just put the net out. And when they start coming in,

  649. make no mistake about it, I'm like, hey, and I'm hollering at

  650. you. I need you to help me pull this

  651. one in. I need you to help me pull this

  652. one in. I need you to help me pull this

  653. one in. I need you to help me pull this

  654. one in and you need to be sitting on ready.

  655. Are you hearing me not closing up shop?

  656. Because if you're in the closing up shop, that just tells me you

  657. need to go to another church. And there's plenty of them out

  658. there to accommodate your lifestyle.

  659. And it don't bother me because there's only one lifestyle here.

  660. God Kingdom, It's Him and him alone.

  661. It's him and Him first. It's him and him and all that he

  662. does. Because anyone who's genuinely

  663. sought God first has never lost their family, has never lost

  664. their kids. Now when I say that kids are of

  665. their own free will anyway, they can do whatever they want to do

  666. because there's kids that are right here now whose parents are

  667. loving God with all their heart, but the kids ain't loving God at

  668. all. And it's not because the parents

  669. aren't giving them an example. I mean that that that's their

  670. own free will. We can't do anything about that,

  671. but we can do us. And so don't you let somebody

  672. tell you because you did this much with the churches, that's

  673. bogus, That's bunk. Because you know as well as I do

  674. there is no hope unless you're connected with it because this

  675. is where life is. So he calls the partners in and

  676. they helped him pull it in. And it was so much that even

  677. what they had almost sunk them both.

  678. You know what that tells me? Even when we all get involved,

  679. we're going to think like we need more people, we need

  680. another partner. So we'd had another partner with

  681. another boat. You see what I'm saying?

  682. This is why every time I do a vision partner, I said when we

  683. first started Lanka Bay Church, we said, well, we're a beginning

  684. church. We're not a small church because

  685. you know, what God desires at all would repent and come to the

  686. knowledge of him, right? So how do you put a limit on how

  687. large you are, you know, And people, I love small church.

  688. Well, I mean, I love a church that loves God and is growing

  689. and and willing to add people. Are you hearing me?

  690. And we want to constantly add and we want to add more than

  691. what we have. Why?

  692. Because the catch is great and there are more people that are

  693. destined for the prison system of the Kingdom right now than

  694. there are that are going in the planet today.

  695. And if you think this is going to happen just because we get a

  696. YouTube channel and we print some books, that is not going to

  697. do it. It's going to take your personal

  698. effort to get your hand on doing something and getting involved.

  699. And when you do it, I'm telling you, Saint Augustine can never

  700. be the same. It's already transforming right

  701. in front of your eyes. Thank you so much for listening
