Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast
-
from St. Augustine, FL.
-
Now enjoy this message. Well, as I was praying today,
-
you know, obviously there's so many directions you can go when
-
you've been ministering the word of God for, you know, 3 decades
-
now and. You know, sometimes it's just
-
good to say what do you want to do.
-
I mean, I when I say that, I'm always saying that.
-
But sometimes you get a heading and you're already moving.
-
Sometimes you have no heading and you're just like, where are
-
we going? And you know, so it is my
-
custom, you know, to pray and then also just read the word.
-
I like to read the word before I get into study, just because I
-
like to feed myself. And I'm not looking for a
-
message when I'm reading, but it doesn't mean they don't
-
sometimes show up. Today, though, the Lord was
-
pretty specific with me, you know, because I was kind of
-
getting some unction that, you know, I don't really need to
-
study. I just need to go pray because,
-
you know, God's going to do something.
-
And now that doesn't mean I'm not praying.
-
It's just that sometimes you put yourself a little bit more in
-
prayer because. His direction is coming out of
-
prayer more so than it's coming out of just reading the word in
-
it. All of a sudden something comes
-
to light. But I got an impression of my
-
spirit because, you know, it's obvious when the need is around,
-
God wants to meet that need. So you know, unfortunately, as
-
believers, we like to keep God in the spooky category.
-
Now what do I mean by that? You know the mystery side.
-
We don't want nobody to know about nothing that's going on.
-
And then all of a sudden, God uses somebody to tell you
-
everything going on in your life.
-
And you're like, nobody could have known that but God.
-
And we like, elevate that to, like, the highest level, OK.
-
Those times come. God does use those times again
-
to gain our attention or to communicate to you that he is
-
very much aware of what's going on in your life as far as even
-
to the point of how much hair is on your head.
-
OK. But you understand, God doesn't
-
doesn't have to keep himself in that position, nor do we need to
-
keep him in that position to receive.
-
Because sometimes Jesus is asking what do you want?
-
He wants to know naturally before he does something.
-
That means you're telling me, OK, I now I'm going to meet what
-
you told me. Because again, we put God in
-
these boxes where, you know, if God's going to do something for
-
me, then it's got to be kind of out of nowhere.
-
Nobody knows. It's super mysterious as opposed
-
to. Here's what's going on and God's
-
like, fine, I'll meet. That are you.
-
Hearing what I'm saying, so the Lord obviously put an impression
-
in my spirit, he said. Lot of symptoms going around, so
-
I just want you to lay hands on the sick tonight and that's what
-
we're going to do. Now, as sound as simple as that
-
sounds, I expect expectation. And so I'm going to minister the
-
word and then I mix. I don't care what symptom you
-
have. God wants to demonstrate.
-
Remember Paul said this. He said I didn't come with you
-
with persuasive words, but with demonstrations of the Spirit.
-
And so the Lord wants to completely heal you tonight.
-
OK. And you know, say, well, you
-
know, lots going on. I mean, obviously anybody could
-
see that. Well, but God's the only one
-
who's the healer at the end of the day.
-
And God, you know, has no problem with the things you're
-
doing in the natural to continue to keep yourself moving in the
-
right direction. But you know, we can administer
-
healing tonight and get it all off you once and for all.
-
And if that's what the Lord's directed, then I would have that
-
expectation in my coming. Are you hearing me?
-
So I want to remind you of something that's included, say
-
included. It's included a lot of times.
-
You know, in the Scripture, you know, we can get, and that's why
-
we wrote the book. The force is we can get focused
-
on a tree that we lose context. And sometimes our focus is on
-
the wrong thing because when we focus on the right thing, then
-
there's what we call byproduct or it's included.
-
It's part of the package, right. So again, Jesus's death, burial,
-
and resurrection has. Nothing to do with getting you
-
to heaven, although it will get you to heaven.
-
That's not the emphasis. It is included.
-
I said it's included. All right.
-
So let's look at some things to understand what's included in
-
Matthew chapter 6, verse 9 and 10.
-
It says this Our Father. Whose Father?
-
Come on, Who's Father? Is he your daddy?
-
Does he care for you? Is he a perfect father?
-
He is 'cause he's not a man, that he should lie.
-
Your heavenly Father has never lied to you, ever.
-
Say Amen. He's never lied to you.
-
Now you may have misinterpreted something you heard in your head
-
that you thought was God and it wasn't.
-
Because God always does what he says.
-
And the only reason why what he says doesn't come to pass is if
-
you stop believing or never believe in the 1st place, you
-
can void it. You can't.
-
Even though the power's there for God to perform his word.
-
OK, so our father say our father say my daddy, That's your daddy.
-
He's your father. Amen, I said.
-
He's your father. OK.
-
Who is in heaven? Hallowed be your name.
-
Your Kingdom come, Your will be on as it is.
-
How many people are sick in heaven?
-
How many are sick in heaven? Do they have a hospital up
-
there? No, there's not.
-
No one is sick in heaven. So it must be the father's will
-
in his realm that sickness should not be is not a part of
-
his realm. And if he wants that to manifest
-
here, then sickness doesn't have to be a part of your life.
-
Are you hearing me? Or let's put it this way, it
-
doesn't have to stay with you. Now when I say it can't be a
-
part of your life, I'm not saying it's not on the earth
-
because it is on the earth because sin's on the earth.
-
Because the enemy's still functioning on the planet and he
-
has weapons that he forms against the church.
-
One of his weapons is sickness and disease.
-
Are you hearing me? So he does that.
-
And the fact that man has fallen in there and we are susceptible
-
to certain things, symptoms can manifest, but we don't have to
-
keep them. That's my point.
-
We can say, you know what, we're going to stop right here.
-
Amen. Because I'm going to believe the
-
report of the Lord. Because there were days that we
-
felt great, perfect. No problem.
-
Then all of a sudden we started feeling something different.
-
Well, guess what? Then we get whole again.
-
Even if you did it in the natural, my point is, it's
-
temporary. So you might as well believe
-
God's word that's eternal. Quit looking at what's temporary
-
and stay with what's eternal. So he wants his Kingdom to
-
manifest on the earth as it is in heaven.
-
In Matthew 417 you know this. It says from that time Jesus
-
began to preach and say repent, change your thinking, for the
-
Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Is it at hand?
-
Is it in our midst? Is it in our midst?
-
It has to be able to be in our midst, because how could God's
-
Kingdom come and his will be done on earth like it is in
-
heaven, if it couldn't be in our midst now?
-
So it's in our midst, OK? I said.
-
It's in our midst. And what did Jesus preach?
-
Repent. For the Kingdom of heaven has at
-
hand. So what did he preach?
-
He preached the Kingdom. But in order for you to get the
-
Kingdom, you got to change your thinking, right?
-
So he preaches the Kingdom, but he's letting them know you're
-
not going to get this if you're going to hold on to your
-
thoughts. Because if you keep living like
-
you're thinking, which is based upon your sight and how you
-
feel, well, then you're going to have what you see and have what
-
you feel your subject. But if you'll change your
-
thinking and believe my word. Then you can have what my word
-
says, and it can change what's going on here.
-
So I don't live by what I see. I live by the word of God, and
-
it changes what I see and what I feel.
-
OK, so we go on a few verses later in the same chapter, verse
-
23, look what it says. Jesus was going around going.
-
Throughout all Galilee, What's he doing?
-
He's teaching in their synagogue and proclaiming.
-
What's he proclaiming? The gospel.
-
But what is the gospel? It's the gospel of the Kingdom,
-
'cause that's what he preaches. He's preaching about this
-
government that he is the king of and all of his benefits
-
associated with it. OK, he's proclaiming the gospel
-
of the Kingdom. Now look what's taking place.
-
Because he's talking about the Kingdom and healing.
-
How many kinds of disease? How many kinds?
-
How many kinds? How many kinds except cancer.
-
Except lymphoma. Except tuberculosis.
-
Except type 2 diabetes. Except bipolar depression.
-
Except is that in there? Now I love this verse 'cause
-
it's every kind of disease. This is what I call the
-
algebraic equation. The guy was like, I don't care
-
what man's going to name anything, I heal every kind at
-
every stage. Every kind at every stage, every
-
kind at every stage, I said. Every kind at every stage and
-
healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness
-
because you understand some symptoms are not something that
-
technically can take us out physically.
-
It's not the it's not really taking us out physically anyway.
-
And here's the thing about sickness is that a lot of times
-
we'll put up with sickness 'cause we ourselves know it's
-
temporary. Well, this ain't going to kill
-
me. I'm sniffling a little bit.
-
This ain't going to kill me and we don't even bother God yet.
-
That's in his every category. I said that's in his every
-
category. And every kind of sickness among
-
the people. Look at Matthew Chapter 9, verse
-
35. Matthew chapter 935 says Jesus
-
was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in the
-
synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the Kingdom.
-
And what was he doing? Just in case you didn't get it
-
in the 4th chapter, we getting it in the 9th chapter.
-
Every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
-
I said every. Every kind.
-
Now the last thing you want to conclude is that there's no
-
other option but just to believe God only.
-
You are to believe God only and do what his word says.
-
Because some diseases and sicknesses you can't actually
-
stand in faith for 'cause you don't have enough information.
-
My people perish due to what? So the scripture is not saying
-
don't ever go to a doctor. Now how do we know?
-
God has no problem with a doctor because he was going to a a guy,
-
a religious guy's house, to heal his daughter.
-
One day he had come to him and said, my daughter, she's about
-
to die, she's at the point of death.
-
Will you come lay hands on her and heal her?
-
He says. OK, I'm go to the house.
-
So he's moving. Towards the house, right.
-
But it's a big crowd and it's taking some time to get there.
-
It just so happens that another woman.
-
Who's. Quite a bit older is, you know,
-
in the vicinity and here's Jesus is walking through the streets
-
now she's got a problem. She's had a sickness or disease
-
for 12 years. She is bleeding.
-
And so as a result of that, she's gone to the doctors.
-
The Bible tells us this historical count of her, you
-
know, diagnosis, and they have treated her with everything
-
known to medical science at the time.
-
She has not gotten better, she's only gotten worse.
-
So she's all of her money has gone into her trying to get her
-
healing. Well.
-
When she hears Jesus is here, she's obviously heard that he's
-
been able to heal because she concludes if I just touched a
-
man's helm. So she's heard something about
-
his touch. So she's like, well, if I can
-
just touch him now, she's already concluded.
-
I'm so weak. I'm probably not going to walk
-
up to the guy by the time I get through the crowd.
-
If I get through the crowd, although that's she's like, I'm
-
going to get through the crowd because I'm going to get mine is
-
I'm going to, I'll be at the place that I'm going to be on
-
the ground and I'm just going to be able to reach out and touch
-
the man. It's him of which she did.
-
OK, it says when she touches his hem, immediately say
-
immediately, immediately she's healed and she knows it.
-
But at the same time, immediately God knows power
-
leaves him and he's like, who touched me, y'all remember this?
-
And he says who touched me? And Peter's like, seriously,
-
Jesus, all these people, I mean you got so many people touching
-
you right now, how can you say that?
-
He said no, no, no, no. Power.
-
Has left me. When the woman realized that she
-
has not escaped notice, she testifies.
-
So guess what? She tells him.
-
This is what I had for 12 years. I've gone to the doctor.
-
You know what he doesn't say to her?
-
Why'd you waste all your money on doctors?
-
He never said that to her. He didn't rebuke her for going
-
to the doctor. So if a believer ever rebukes
-
you for going to the doctor, that's not God, 'cause God
-
didn't do that. The healer himself didn't do
-
that. In fact, the healer himself,
-
when he healed the lepers, 'cause they then came to him and
-
says, Lord, if you're willing, he said, you know I am and he
-
heals as they go, he said. Now go show yourself to the
-
priest that was which, and by all rights that was a physician.
-
According to the law to determine that leprosy was no
-
longer on the IT wasn't a medical doctor like we think
-
today. The priest's responsibility was
-
to determine whether leprosy was cured or not on a human being.
-
So when he says go show yourself to the priest, Jesus is saying
-
go back to the doctor to get your clean bill of health.
-
So again, when people's like, oh, the Lord's healed me, I'm
-
not going back to the doctor. Why?
-
Jesus made the lepers go to the doctor to get their clean bill
-
of health. And if you're healed, why are
-
you afraid to go to the doctor anyway?
-
Surely he's going to conclude the same thing you're believing,
-
and then we get to testify in front of them and the nursing
-
staff and anyone else that God healed.
-
Me say Hallelujah. So when we read those
-
scriptures, what this tells us is that the Lord may have
-
methods by which He needs you to understand how He is.
-
Now when I say that I'm not saying that God's answer is
-
medical. I'm not concluding that, but
-
some for some medical helps because it has not manifested
-
just in the Spirit. In your body.
-
And until then, you need to do whatever you need to do to keep
-
your process moving. Now you don't do anything to
-
violate what the Holy Spirit's telling you to do.
-
I'm not telling you just, 'cause you go to a doctor and they say,
-
hey, we're going to do this. And the Holy Ghost says don't do
-
that treatment, then you shouldn't do that treatment
-
because God knows your body better than they do.
-
They're practicing, and He knows you.
-
He created you. But if he says you can go ahead
-
and do this, well guess what? Then you need to do it, because
-
now you're following the will of the Father.
-
But my point is, is when the kingdom's preached, guess what
-
is included healing. Healing is included.
-
When Jesus has gone around all these areas, he's gone to
-
Galilee. It says he goes to cities and
-
villages, Matthew 9 tells us. All these locations that he's
-
going to, and he's just preaching on the Kingdom.
-
Guess what's included with that message?
-
Healing, healing, healing, healing, healing, healing.
-
Every kind. Every kind.
-
Every kind at every stage. Every kind at every stage.
-
And you know what the worst stage is?
-
In case you want to know is when it kills you.
-
That's the worst stage. But it's still not out of God's
-
reach because he can raise resurrect even the dead and get
-
off you. What killed you so that you live
-
and not die? Now that doesn't mean live and
-
not die naturally, because we're all going to die.
-
The Bible says it was appointed. For all men to die once.
-
Now the cool thing is apparently for us, 'cause I'm trying to
-
include myself into into this generation of the ones who will
-
put on immorality. That'd be so fast of a death.
-
Now it is death, because death just means separation.
-
I'll separate from my mortal and put on immortality, and that'd
-
be in the moment. In the twinkling of an eye, it'd
-
be the fastest death resurrection you've ever seen in
-
your life. Hallelujah.
-
I have to assume it doesn't hurt.
-
Dude, we just died and we're alive again.
-
Wow. I mean, I couldn't even think of
-
fast enough. It was so quick.
-
All right. Anyway, so here's the thing.
-
Jesus healed primarily 4 ways when Jesus did heal.
-
He healed by touch. He'd lay hands.
-
And they'd be healed. He touched the leopard, he
-
touched blind eyes, and they were healed.
-
Another way he healed was through the gifts of the Spirit.
-
Now there are healings that function through the gifts of
-
the Spirit. And this is the problem with
-
Christianity. You know again with us
-
fantasizing about God instead of seeing God for who he is.
-
The way that we hear God heals everything.
-
Then we conclude that one method does it all.
-
And that's not true 'cause if one method did it all, then God
-
would have only done one method. But God did not do one method.
-
God did some based upon the gifts of the Spirit.
-
There are 9 gifts, of which one of the gifts is the gifts of
-
healing. If the laying on of hands of
-
which we can do lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
-
There are conditions by which man can be healed that way, and
-
it doesn't have to be any other way, but there are conditions
-
that it requires the Holy Ghost to move.
-
For that to happen, which means the laying on of hands will not
-
get the results, because the gifts of the Spirit are not as
-
man wills, but as the spirit wills and he moves upon man.
-
And we know Jesus operated like a man.
-
He was all God, but he functioned as a man full of the
-
Holy Ghost. So when we get to the pool of
-
Bethesda, that is the gifts of the Spirit in operation.
-
Because here's a guy laying at the pool, paralyzed.
-
Can't get in, which means we got muscle.
-
What's that called? Thank you.
-
You know, the stuff's not working at all.
-
And guess what? In this?
-
Now that doesn't have to happen in every case, because the gifts
-
didn't function like that. When the guys ripped the roof
-
off and the other paralyzed came down because the gifts weren't
-
functioning, their faith was functioning.
-
And he healed that guy at his word.
-
He didn't even touch him. He said, pick up your mat and
-
walk. And what did he say?
-
Seeing their faith. So their faith prompted his
-
declaration. And when Jesus said get up and
-
walk, the only thing that stops you from walking is you're
-
yielding to that word. Because if the guy would have
-
said I can, I'm paralyzed, he would have nullified the power
-
of that word. But did he do that?
-
No, because he was in faith. And when Jesus said get up, take
-
up your mat and walk, he acted on that word and he was
-
strengthened in his legs and his muscles and his bones and
-
feeling came back and he picked up Walt, that thing right out
-
the house. Yet enough strength to be able
-
to pick the thing up. He was on, right?
-
But at the pool of Bethesda, there were a lot of sick people,
-
not just this one guy. And yet the Holy Ghost picked
-
the guy out. Now again, you can say, why did
-
God do that? I can't answer that question.
-
I can't answer. You can ask him one day.
-
All I know is he knows what's going on in everybody's life.
-
He knows what's taken and occurring.
-
For whatever reason the Holy Ghost that day wanted that guy
-
who had been that way for like 38 years and through the gifts
-
because he says what do you want?
-
The guy's like man, I can't get to the water.
-
He don't even know Jesus. No faith.
-
He has no faith in Jesus at all. But because of the gifts, Jesus
-
was able to function in a way. That and the Holy Ghost got
-
involved. And outside of that man's faith
-
he got healed. So you can do it by touch.
-
You can do it through the gifts of the Spirit.
-
You can do it at his word. But then you can also be healed
-
by their faith. Jesus healed people by their
-
faith. The woman again with the issue
-
of blood that was flowing touched his him.
-
She kept saying if I just touches him, I'll be healed.
-
Power left him. He wasn't even aware she was
-
near. He wasn't even conscious of her
-
faith. He didn't know she existed.
-
You said God. Jesus didn't know she, Jesus was
-
in a earth suit. If he's not getting the
-
instruction from the Holy Ghost, he don't know.
-
He did not know she was coming. He was not informed that she was
-
coming. He had no our king had no idea
-
that this woman was about to touch him, but when she did, he
-
knew power left and he didn't know who done it.
-
Our Jesus didn't know who did it.
-
This shows his humanity and his dependency on the Holy Spirit.
-
And that he himself had limitations in the context that
-
he was dependent upon being led by the Spirit.
-
And he's like, well, somebody touched me, powers left me.
-
In essence, you're not going to come get some without
-
testifying, right? And here's the thing.
-
A lot of times people want to get from God and don't want
-
nobody to know about it. And God wouldn't let that
-
happen, 'cause like, you going to testify, somebody's going to
-
testify. I'm not even moving now.
-
I mean, Jesus stops, so I'm not even moving.
-
And you understand the religious leaders, like my daughter's
-
about to die. Can we get to the house?
-
He's like, I can't go nowhere. I mean, somebody's touched me.
-
I I mean, who did this, right? And so she tells him so And he
-
says, he says, daughter, your faith has healed you.
-
Amen. Now tonight, three of these for
-
sure are going to be in operation.
-
I can't guarantee the 4th one, which is the gifts of the
-
Spirit, but I can't guarantee the three that is at a word,
-
we're declaring that it's included with the Kingdom.
-
So at a word you're healed. You can bring your faith when
-
you come. And then we'll lay hands on you.
-
And through touch, you can receive your total manifestation
-
of healing. Amen.
-
And you know what I've realized? Because again, I've gone back
-
into all my sermons back to 2005.
-
And when I type in healing, I don't have a whole lot.
-
I don't minister on the subject of healing a whole lot here.
-
Now that doesn't mean we shouldn't.
-
Because again, faith comes by hearing, but the reality is, is
-
we've been a extremely healthy church that we've had a included
-
process because we've been seeking first the Kingdom for so
-
long. The byproduct is that we've been
-
functioning in some really good health.
-
It's kind of what happens because the word does good like
-
a. Medicine.
-
So in essence, because we've been diligent every year to go
-
for the Bible cover, to cover what I've been giving you is the
-
vitamins and nutrition necessary for your body.
-
I'm not talking about just your spirit and your soul.
-
I'm talking about your body. We've been giving you a.
-
Diet that actually helps feed you physically.
-
It quickens your mortal body. And because of that, it's been
-
by products, so to speak. Now that doesn't mean there's
-
times that we don't need to focus on it and that we don't
-
need to bring it back up. Obviously in this moment some
-
things are kind of going around and we're just going to go ahead
-
and remind ourselves so that we can walk on into something
-
because what we do tonight who's not here and you see them on
-
Sunday and you hear them with a symptom.
-
They may be coughing, blowing their nose or something else.
-
Don't wait for them to come into service.
-
What you're going to do is you're going to say, you know
-
what Pastor prayed, did this on Wednesday night?
-
Laid hands on us. We received our heel.
-
I'm going to lay hands on you. Going to get rid of this today.
-
You're going to do it in the lobby.
-
You're going to do it in the parking lot.
-
You're going to do it with a chill.
-
I don't care where you're at. Because again, healing is not
-
just for this time is for the believer.
-
To do so you need to do. Which is another reason why we
-
don't preach on healing a whole lot here is because we do know
-
how to pray for one another. And let me just say this.
-
Don't get spiritually prideful to get your healing on your own.
-
Now believe God on your own. But when I came in a week ago
-
and I, you know, sounded deeper than Barry White.
-
You know, but again, what we're just pushing on.
-
We going to preach anyway, right?
-
And we're all gargly and sounded.
-
But you know what? I had three people lay hands on
-
me before I ever got to the platform.
-
They heard me pass her. I said, yeah, I said, well, I
-
got some symptoms, you know. Well, you're the heal the Lord.
-
Yes, I am. And then they and then they pray
-
for me. I didn't say don't touch me,
-
man. I got my healing.
-
I didn't do that. I'm like, bring it on.
-
Give me another witness. Give me somebody else in
-
agreement. Because you don't feel what I
-
feel, and at the end of the day, you're confident that you can
-
lay hands on me. According to scripture, I'll
-
receive the dose from you. I'll take another dose.
-
I'll get another infusion of faith, of healing in my body.
-
I'll do it. Pastor Mark, text me on Sunday
-
and said how you doing? I said good.
-
I said, yeah man, I'm like 9098 percent, 95%, you know, I'm,
-
I'm, I'm rocking. He said, well I sound like you
-
like you did Wednesday. I said, uh, I said wow, that's
-
not good. He said yeah, I said, well he
-
said pray for my voice. So I prayed right there as the
-
text. I said in the name of Jesus,
-
your voice is going to get stronger.
-
Well, later on that afternoon I said, how does service go?
-
He said. My voice got stronger.
-
Amen. What I loved about that is he
-
didn't act like I get on my own, though he can't get it on his
-
own. He knows healing, He knows the
-
scripture, He knows where to go. But again, it's about this
-
connection. It's about community.
-
It's about believers coming together in unity.
-
Amen. You know, because sometimes we
-
get into these situations about healing and they're like, well,
-
I already got mine. I'm not going to go.
-
I I don't need nobody to lay hands on mine.
-
I already believed I received well.
-
Did you receive breakfast this morning?
-
Did you eat lunch? I bet you ate dinner.
-
So you don't quit receiving because you ate once.
-
I mean, it's not a lack of faith for you to come up and say give
-
me another dose. Now it's different.
-
If you're like, I didn't get it, now that's a whole another ball
-
game. Because if you don't think you
-
got it and you don't think the laying on the hands is going to
-
get it to you, then you're not going to get it anyway because
-
your doubts, what's keeping your symptoms from changing?
-
Are you hearing me? So you might as well come get
-
more, because here's the thing I've concluded.
-
If it's not off. Then I'm doing everything to
-
continue to apply, 'cause it ain't over till it's over.
-
So why get complacent? And too often we do this with
-
the sickness. Well, it'd be a couple days to
-
be all right. I mean, we sound like Pharaoh.
-
Think about that. Moses says he's like Moses.
-
Get rid of these frogs, he said. OK, just tell me when you want
-
it. Tomorrow.
-
He said that tomorrow, not like now, right?
-
And we're like, well, we'll be better tomorrow.
-
Amen. I mean, when I had this, when we
-
came back from the trip, you know, 'cause I didn't sleep
-
super great on the flight back over.
-
And so the very next day I took something, my wife's like you,
-
Guinea, take something to help you go to sleep, and that says
-
knock you out. So you're not staying awake
-
'cause you're coughing. And so she gave me some of that,
-
like Alka Seltzer nighttime stuff, right?
-
It knocked me out, bro. I was out for like 24 hours.
-
My wife says I was out for 12. I got up while she was asleep,
-
got some water, and then I went back to bed, saw her the next
-
morning. So it was 212 hour.
-
Shifts is what it was. Anyway, she did.
-
And I called her back in the in the room and I said lay hands on
-
me and pray over me. I mean, don't just assume I got
-
something now, she wouldn't assume, but that's where I'm at.
-
Like, I'm not just here to assume that just 'cause I'm a
-
man of God and believe God and a child of God, that my wife get
-
in agreement, get up in here, put your hands on me, touch me
-
and pray over me, 'cause I want somebody anointed on your life
-
in this situation so that I can come up out of this quicker.
-
Are you hearing me? OK, so then, did it?
-
Does it stay with Jesus? Obviously not.
-
Matthew. Chapter 10, verse seven and
Matthew 10 chapter mention
-
eight. It says this.
-
And as you go, say me go. As you go, say me go.
-
That's not amigo, That's you. Go.
-
All right, as you go, preach, saying the Kingdom of heaven is
-
at hand, guess what's included? Heal the sick.
-
Now he gets a little deeper here because Jesus, when he's
-
preaching, we know he's healing every kind of disease and every
-
kind of sickness. But we understand it goes beyond
-
that because there's more included with the Kingdom than
-
that. And Jesus goes ahead and lets
-
his lets his disciples have this kind of access.
-
He said go ahead and heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse
-
the lepers. That means cure the incurable
-
disease, cast out demons, get rid of the source.
-
Right. Get rid of the source.
-
Because again, sometimes we can lay hands on people.
-
Now I'm talking more common, you know, workplace than it should
-
be in here. Obviously it can happen in here.
-
I mean, someone could come in and this could happen, you know,
-
because again, Jesus dealt with one woman that was bent over and
-
he rebuked a spirit of infirmity.
-
Sometimes if you pray for healing and they start symptoms
-
aside, but then it comes back and it seems like there's this
-
long period, you might want to take in consideration that a
-
spirit of infirmity keeps trying to show up with a little
-
symptom. So you might want to go a little
-
deeper and say I rebuke you spirit of infirmity.
-
Don't come to me no more with your symptom because there are
-
spirits out there that carry symptoms.
-
And you can get a reprieve, but you haven't gotten rid of the
-
source. So if you're a person that's
-
always having a nagging at something, it's like you can't
-
ever get past. You go from one thing to the
-
next thing to the next thing to the next thing.
-
We going to talk about this more next year?
-
In 2024 you might want to stop and say I bond the spirit of
-
infirmity. Because I should not have all
-
these conditions keep showing up in my life over this type of
-
period. Amen.
-
Because again, the devil again, if he's trying to kill you, he
-
can't do it abruptly, that's true.
-
But majority of time he's like spoon feeding you stuff.
-
You know, it's like the people who's killed their spouses
-
because they gave them a little bit of something in their
-
coffee. It was hard to trace.
-
Well, you laugh, but I mean, that's how the devil does.
-
He puts a little bit in your head, puts a little bit in your
-
head, puts a little bit in your head, puts a little bit in your
-
head, and you eventually find yourself and then he can feed
-
more in your head because now you've developed a tolerance to
-
that one, right? OK, Well, same thing can happen
-
with the spirit of infirmity. And give you a little symptom
-
here that comes off, gives you different symptom here he ain't
-
left. He likes sitting in the room.
-
All right, so again, it's included with the Kingdom, even
-
if Jesus himself isn't doing it. Because he says as you go and
-
you minister the Kingdom, you talk about the Kingdom.
-
You represent the Kingdom well. He'll the sick raise the dead,
-
cleanse the lepers, cast out demons freely you receive what?
-
Freely what? Freely what?
-
Luke 10, nine says this and heal those in it who are sick and say
-
to them now this is when he's talking about going into cities.
-
He said, I want you to go into cities, right?
-
And you're going to go into these people.
-
And now if there happens to be anybody at the house you're
-
staying at that's sick, you're going to heal them and then say
-
this, tell them why they're being healed.
-
The Kingdom of God has come near.
-
It's included with the Kingdom. I said it's included with the
-
Kingdom. Now I the best example I can
-
give to you is modern day right now because at this point
-
there's a whole humanitarian aid showing up in Gaza and what are
-
they doing? They're showing up representing
-
the United nation or a nation and saying we're it's included
-
with us coming so. Because we're Kingdom citizens,
-
guess what's included with us? Healing.
-
Healing is included with us now. It's not.
-
We're not the doctors. We are really the the, the, the
-
RNS. We come, we get to come in, do
-
all the diagnosis, and you know, they do all anyway.
-
And then the doctor comes in and signs the name.
-
He authorizes it. So that's when we the RN, we get
-
to take all the vitals, say in the name of Jesus and he
-
authorizes it. They heal.
-
Amen. I'll be an RN for the Lord
-
because he's authorizing it. He's the one who paid the price
-
for it. Luke Chapter 9, verse two.
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
Then we'll jump down to 11 and it says this.
-
And he sent them out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to what?
-
It's included. Are we a Kingdom?
-
Church? Do we believe in the Kingdom?
-
So then the healthcare system of the Kingdom, and let me just say
-
it is healthcare because if he's curing you then you're not in
-
health. In order for curing to take
-
place, you can't have health cure cause health is health.
-
You're sick. That's why it's health care is
-
to continue to care for your health so that you can stay
-
healthy. Unfortunately, our healthcare
-
system is a broken system and it does not.
-
It doesn't help your health. It actually gives you more
-
symptoms cuz just check your prescriptions.
-
We're going to, I'll, I'll eliminate this symptom only to
-
give you these symptoms. But that's all right.
-
We got a pill for that. And now you're compete.
-
You are a repeat customer. It's called capitalism in the
-
medical system. That's why our cars don't last
-
as long as they do. Our phones don't last as long.
-
It's it our refrigerator. I mean, I ain't going to lie.
-
I spent some money on my refrigerator a year ago
-
thinking, you know, the Lord's blessed me.
-
I don't have to go cheaper. I'm going to get something
-
that's going to last. Ha, what a lie.
-
Yeah, I mean, got to. I mean, I'm paying for a
-
warranty. That why if you just make it
-
right, I don't have this problem.
-
Right. This is why some of y'all went
-
and bought those ones that are 20 year old washing machines
-
because they're still running. I'm not talking about these, but
-
it's not fashionable right? Man, forget fashion for I just
-
wash my clothes just keep my I mean we bought in a we bought an
-
apartment size refrigerator and I got in the garage because I
-
don't have one. My big fancy one is.
-
DO dead on arrival. You know, it's.
-
I can't get it to resuscitate. I mean, it only lives for three
-
days and then it dies every day. So, you know, praise the Lord
-
the Lord's vindicating us for us all over with.
-
And then at that point, once I get it fixed, I may just get rid
-
of it anyway and find an old one that actually runs.
-
And I'll paint it and make it look new.
-
I'm done with the stainless steel.
-
I'm bringing a new style back, painted, whatever.
-
No, I'll get the media team to do a wrap for me.
-
I'll just wrap it and I'll say this is a Kingdom.
-
House or something, OK. So the Kingdom of God and and to
-
perform healings. It's included verse 11.
-
But the crowds were aware of this and followed him, welcoming
-
them. He began speaking to them about
-
what Kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.
-
It just is included, guys. I said it's included.
-
Now Jesus has died and raised from the dead just so you know
-
that it's still functioning though he's seated in heaven.
-
In Acts chapter one, we know Jesus is alive and he tells them
-
to tarry until the Holy Ghost comes.
-
They'll be in do with power from all high and then they can be a
-
witness for him and they watch him go.
-
In chapter 2, the Holy Ghost falls and they receive the power
-
of the Holy Spirit. And he preaches and people get
-
born again. It's pretty amazing time.
-
But Jesus is not on the planet anymore.
-
In chapter 3 they're going to pray and the guy's begging who
-
is sick and Peter through the gifts fixes his eyes on him and
-
snatches the man up out the off the ground who's paralyzed and
-
through the gifts heals the guy. Then the name of Jesus Raise up
-
and walk and he snatches him. If you study it from the
-
original Greek, he pulls him when he makes that statement.
-
And the guy's healed. Verse chapter 4.
-
He's on trial. Here it is, verse 9.
-
We'll pick it up. Chapter 4, verse 9.
-
So Jesus not on the planet in the flesh.
-
And he says, if we are on trial today for the benefit done to a
-
sick man as to how this man has been made, well, let it be known
-
to all of you. And to all the people of Israel,
-
that by the name I said, by the name of Jesus Christ the
-
Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead by
-
this name, this man stands here before you, in, in, in, in good
-
health. So Jesus does not have to be
-
personally present on the planet for you to be healed.
-
We just have to use the name. I said just have to use the
-
name. Just have to use the name.
-
Why are we authorized? Because of the payment.
-
First Peter chapter 2, verse four says for he bore our sins
1 Peter 2 chapter mention
-
in his body on the cross so that we might die to sin and live to
-
righteousness. For by His wounds you were
-
healed. His physical wounds did not
-
bring you spiritual salvation. His blood paid the price for
-
your wrongdoing, but the physical wounds is what opened
-
the door for your physical body to be able to have manifestation
-
of this alive person in Christ and the Holy Ghost living on the
-
inside of you. For you to be in the covenant of
-
a person who can have a healthy body as long as you continue to
-
do the purpose, God is a sign for you in the planet to bear
-
fruit for Him. You have a legal right as a
-
citizen of the Kingdom of God to walk in health and healing.
-
Amen. Because he's paid the price, he
-
bore it, Isaiah 53 five says. For he was pierced through for
-
our transgression, he was crushed for our iniquities, The
-
chastisement of our well-being fell upon him, and by his
-
scourging we are healed. Obviously Peter says you were
-
healed. Isaiah spoke before it took
-
place, right? Peter speaks after it's taken
-
place. So this is already settled.
-
Jesus does not go to the cross again for somebody getting born
-
again, nor is he taking the stripes on his back anymore.
-
For someone who needs to be healed, it is by faith.
-
I said It is by faith that you receive three ways.
-
By faith, if the gifts need to be in play, then the gifts will
-
get in play and the gifts will do what the gifts can do.
-
And your faith doesn't have to be included.
-
It will require your faith to keep because what the gifts give
-
don't mean you get for eternity you yourself again.
-
Jesus healed a guy who he said pick up your mat and go
-
somewhere. I don't know if it was the same
-
guy. So y'all can help me because he
-
obviously healed a lot of people.
-
But remember he walked around the Pharisees were like, why are
-
you walking with your mat bro? Because he healed him all the
-
Sabbath, right? And he's like, well, God told me
-
who was he? I have no idea, don't even know
-
his name. OK, so he finds him again,
-
right? And he says to him, go and sin
-
no more. So nothing worse will come on
-
you. So the gifts are not a
-
guarantee. You keep the healing you
-
received. You still have the
-
responsibility to know your rights and to continue in Bill
-
and make a demand on that what God did for you, independent of
-
you, you're not going to lose now.
-
And the devil has no right to 'cause there's many believers
-
that have had a have received healing only for symptoms to
-
come back at another time and then conclude, well, I guess God
-
didn't want me to have it after all.
-
That's a lie. God doesn't tease us.
-
He doesn't do that. He's not malicious like that.
-
Going to heal you supernaturally of something that only the gifts
-
could do, and then put it back on you.
-
He does not do that. That is not the character of
-
God, but the devil. He sure wants to put it on you,
-
so don't give him an opportunity.
-
Are you ready to be healed? I said, you ready to be healed?
-
Are you ready to receive it? Because you are healed as far as
-
eternity is concerned. As far as Jesus concerned, your
-
body is already whole. Thank you so much for listening
