  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Read second Peter chapter one,

  4. verse 12 says. Therefore I will.

  5. Always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you

  6. already know them and have been established in the truth which

  7. is present with you. Verse 13 I consider it right as

  8. long as I am in this earthly dwelling to stir you up by way

  9. of reminder. One of the most difficult tasks

  10. that I have at the end of the year is determining what to say

  11. at the end of the year, especially when the Lord's

  12. telling me about next year. Because the Lord's talking.

  13. To me about next year. I want to be able to jump over

  14. into next year, but it's not time.

  15. And so at that point, I'm like, OK, Lord, what am I doing until

  16. we get there? What do we say, you know,

  17. because when he begins to already reveal things, you get

  18. so excited. You ready to talk about it?

  19. OK. So, you know, as we've kind of

  20. looked in these last few months and we're really in these last

  21. few weeks, you know, there's some things that have been

  22. pretty consistent that's been spoken either on a Sunday and on

  23. a Wednesday. Now this past Sunday was, you

  24. know, a little bit different move.

  25. But that is intentional for things that are coming in 2024.

  26. And if you weren't here on Sunday, you need to go online

  27. and listen, it will drop tomorrow.

  28. We're talking about, you know, being caught up, OK.

  29. When the Lord comes back and the trumpet blows and we're caught

  30. up together with the hem in the air, there are some things that

  31. will happen there. And the Bible is very clear

  32. about that. That's technically not been

  33. taken into that context, even though the Scripture says it

  34. emphatically. And I will say for those who

  35. have studied, the point on Sunday was not to let you know

  36. of Jesus coming in the cloud, whether it was him coming to

  37. receive the church or him coming to put his foot down and reign

  38. for 1000 years. The point was every time there

  39. was a reference of cloud, you could see him.

  40. That was the point. OK, But we'll talk more about

  41. that on Sunday. But Pastor Marcy, you know, I

  42. was out, you know, ministered on unity and we've talked about the

  43. church and we've been kind of dealing with the church and

  44. talking about things that are happening.

  45. Pastor Angie really launched this.

  46. And when I, we were out of the country and I said I I need you

  47. to minister on this thought process because we know there's

  48. a lot coming down range next year.

  49. And so then I felt like I needed to jump in with that and

  50. continue that thought. And then Pastor Marcy kind of

  51. stayed in that vein as well. And then obviously Sunday I

  52. started some preparation for next year, but tonight and I

  53. know I'm doing it with the lesser group.

  54. And when I say lesser, not lesser in people, but lesser in

  55. number, we have less here tonight than we typically do on

  56. Sunday. And this really is a Sunday

  57. message. OK.

  58. But the reality is, if you get it, then everyone who shows up

  59. on Sunday will get it. If you get it, then everyone

  60. else on Sunday. Gets it?

  61. Because the reality is, when you start talking about vision,

  62. vision always starts with a smaller group of people.

  63. And it is, it is, it is given and then caught by that group to

  64. where they sell out to it. And then that group then because

  65. of all of them selling out to that vision, are able to

  66. convince others to become a part of that.

  67. Vision. So vision doesn't start with the

  68. crowd. Vision starts with those that

  69. are showing signs of dedication. Are you?

  70. Hearing me, I'm going to take you back in time, back in 2003

  71. when I knew that I was going to be moving and coming to Saint

  72. Augustine to launch Anchor Faith Church, of which we launched the

  73. church April 11th, 22,004 and it'll be 20 years this.

  74. April OK, coming up when I knew that this is going to happen.

  75. Then I began to go to a group of people, individually or the

  76. couple. If it was husband and wife.

  77. Pastor Mike and Angie were one of those.

  78. In fact, Pastor Marcus was there, and Pastor Mark was there

  79. as well. Was he not that night that we

  80. went to? What was that breakfast place?

  81. Denny's, Denny's or Village Inn? One of those?

  82. I think it was Denny's, anyway. So I showed up with my little

  83. piece of paper, because I had a piece of paper only because I

  84. have a pastor who needs to see the vision written.

  85. I couldn't just speak to him. But the reality is it's

  86. scriptural and let's read that scripture real quick.

  87. You understand it. Habakkuk, Chapter 2, verses two

    Habakkuk 2 chapter mention

  88. and three says this. And the Lord answered me and

  89. said record the vision and inscribe it on tablets that the

  90. one who reads it may what may run notice, the one who reads.

  91. It's not just to rejoice. The one who reads does not just

  92. say, well, that's awesome. Well, that was a good read.

  93. Well, I read it. Hope, hope, hope you do.

  94. Well, wow, that's a great vision.

  95. God's giving you, OK? That the one who reads it may

  96. what run for the vision is yet for the appointed time it

  97. hastens towards the goal. It will not fail, though it

  98. Terry's wait for it, for it will certainly come.

  99. It will not delay. And so I wrote my vision down

  100. because I was when the Lord told me I was going to go and I was

  101. going to, you know, talk to pastor about it.

  102. And I knew I was going to let him know that I was time for me

  103. to do what he knew I was going to do when he hired me.

  104. And that is Pioneer Church. I said, now Lord, you know,

  105. Pastor David, he needs to see this.

  106. I'm not going to be able to go in there and just tell him, I

  107. think he, I know he's going to want to see this.

  108. So I need to know some things that are going to happen.

  109. Because I'm Abraham. Get up and go to the place.

  110. I'll show you. You can tell me why we're loaded

  111. up in EU Haul on the way. OK, that's me.

  112. I can get direction en route. Whereas Pastor David was Moses.

  113. I need to see the plan and I owed him that because he had, he

  114. had done so much for me in developing me as a young

  115. minister. OK?

  116. And so I God knew what he needed.

  117. So God gave me some phases of the ministry, 3 phases only

  118. actually, and I was able to articulate them.

  119. And Joshua Clay and I cause Joshua's in our youth ministry.

  120. He taught me Coreldraw. I used to work in graphic design

  121. with him when it came to our youth ministry.

  122. And from that I created a logo. No one has ever seen that.

  123. Logo. It did not make the cut for me.

  124. It. Was just an initial and then

  125. later on I didn't like it. So it never made it and you'll

  126. never see it because I don't have a copy of it and I'm not

  127. going to explain it. It isn't worth it, all right.

  128. With that being said, I had my logo on it.

  129. I did have the name Anchor Faith.

  130. That didn't change. And and then had phases, some

  131. demographics. And I went and met with him, and

  132. I handed that to him. Since that took place.

  133. I went to those that had made a statement to me when I was in

  134. Bible college. They said, you know, if you ever

  135. start a church or, you know, let us know, we could see ourselves

  136. doing ministry with you. Now what's crazy about that?

  137. It was already a Holy Ghost connection because I'm not

  138. talking anything like, hey, you know, I'm going to do this.

  139. And this is our. I mean, I don't even have a

  140. vision for a church. I just know I'm going to start

  141. one one day. I knew that.

  142. OK, so there was something on the other side.

  143. And we went to Denny's and Marcus and Pastor Marcus and

  144. Pastor Mark were there. And, you know, we all kind of

  145. got together, although they technically were just hanging

  146. out. I was, you know, mainly talking

  147. to them. I think they were eavesdropping,

  148. ultimately. But they were teen at, yeah.

  149. I mean, no. I mean.

  150. Pastor Mark was at Raima. He was first and yeah.

  151. 'Cause we left in 2003, so he'd have been in.

  152. He'd have been first year. It's your first year.

  153. And Pastor Mark was in his second year.

  154. So we're talking about this thing, you know, this is where

  155. we're at. So this is what I thought,

  156. figured at least these people to pray for me.

  157. At the end of the day, they'll pray for me.

  158. And so I ended up casting Vision to them.

  159. Pastor Marcus, we didn't really cast Vision to Pastor Mark.

  160. We just got him out of a dead end life in Texas and Pastor

  161. Marcus basically called him up and says what are you doing with

  162. your life? And he said nothing, going to

  163. church. I mean, he really wouldn't do

  164. anything. And he says, well, why don't you

  165. come to Florida? You know, Pastor Earl's starting

  166. to church and we need a drummer. You graduated from Raymond.

  167. Do something with your life. Well, I'm glad Pastor Mark

  168. answered because now he's that Anchor Fate Church pastor for

  169. over 11 years in one location. Now.

  170. Amen. Ain't that amazing?

  171. So there were some other people that I went to.

  172. Some came to me once. They heard and said we see

  173. ourselves there. And then when I got here, I knew

  174. some people that had said something before went by.

  175. And so in essence, I. Communicated the vision.

  176. And when we started Anchor Feed Church, it was in my house.

  177. The Lord let me know you're not going to just start this thing

  178. in the house. Like we're adding people like we

  179. have them Bible study. We did not have Bible studies at

  180. our house. I had no open meeting at my

  181. house. I had only those who had agreed

  182. to be a part of it. So they were like my leadership

  183. team. And all I did was cast Vision

  184. and I would talk to them about what we were going to do and

  185. what we're going to do. And I sold this to about a group

  186. of maybe 11-12 at the time. That was it.

  187. So in essence, we had something before it became popular, and

  188. that is go plant a church with a team.

  189. God assembled my team. OK, I didn't pull this out of a

  190. book. I didn't get this from some

  191. seminar. I was just being led by the

  192. Spirit on how to do something, OK?

  193. And I was very challenging to them.

  194. I would let them know if you're coming, don't come because of

  195. me. You better come because you see

  196. yourself in the vision and that made the difference.

  197. I remember Pastor Mike and I after they had moved and they

  198. were working at the boys home and we were doing Saturday

  199. morning prayer on the beach. Back in the day, we used to walk

  200. the beach because we have a building.

  201. You know, we were up, we were at a school, set up, teardown, and

  202. on Saturday we were praying, walking the beach.

  203. And I looked over at him and I said, so if you had

  204. opportunities to leave, he said, Oh yeah, I said, aren't you glad

  205. you knew you were called to this vision?

  206. He said, absolutely, 'cause it's the difference.

  207. Are you hearing me? It's the difference.

  208. And when I talked to pastors today and let them know that my

  209. associates been with me for 20 years and that my worship

  210. minister has been with me longer than 20 years because we've been

  211. in two locations, but in this location been with me the whole

  212. time, it blows their mind. But what they miss is that I

  213. didn't hire them. Although they're hired now, you

  214. know, their own staff. I did not hire them.

  215. I cast a vision of which they saw themselves in it.

  216. And so that becomes my demand, because it's God's demand.

  217. I said it's God's demand. Are you hearing me?

  218. So we're going somewhere. I think we've just gotten

  219. started. In fact, I know we have because,

  220. well, you know, there's a prophecy concerning some things

  221. that we'll share next year. And you know, technically you'll

  222. see that prophecy. Just let us know that we finally

  223. got the foundation done. Hallelujah, We'll say well and

  224. took you 20 years to build a foundation.

  225. Well, don't you know the longer the foundation it is, the higher

  226. the building can. Be.

  227. Hallelujah. And the higher the building

  228. means the more people they can support.

  229. Amen. Because there is an in time

  230. harvest over into a catching away harvest and man we need to

  231. be a part of it. Are you hearing me now?

  232. Just to remind you this word here, record the vision, right?

  233. Inscribing on tablets it goes. On and it says.

  234. That the one who reads it may run another translation says the

  235. one that may read it fluently and is to proclaim.

  236. It. So it's not about reading and

  237. forgetting because now we're James, you know, one where he

  238. says you know you got to be a doer the word and not hearers

  239. destiny. Girl, come on.

  240. Come on, Destiny. Come on, let's give it up for

  241. Destiny right here. Destiny have was dropping to

  242. three pointers yesterday at the game.

  243. Man, she was like throwing down. We won like 88 to 56 or

  244. something like that. They dominated yesterday.

  245. You played an awesome game. I just want to let you know that

  246. it's awesome. If you weren't there, we missed

  247. out. We have another one coming up on

  248. January the 6th on a Saturday. Home game.

  249. So let's pack it out with Anchor Faith.

  250. Let let's go over into the guest stands because we have so many

  251. people there. That'd be kind of pandemonium,

  252. wouldn't it? All right.

  253. So again, it's it's not just to read and walk away and forget.

  254. It is the fluently know it and then proclaim it.

  255. You should be at articulate what we're doing and the reality is

  256. for us to be doing what God's called us to do.

  257. There's a lot going on now we understand this vision takes

  258. time to accomplish and and modern day church planting is

  259. they don't want to wait. Now getting people is not is not

  260. the goal, Discipling people is the goal.

  261. And I'm going to give you my analogy again because they're

  262. using Hastings. If you go to Hastings, there's a

  263. lot of farms out there. And if you plant 10 acres with

  264. potatoes, OK And you see the little greenery come up and

  265. you're like, oh, there's potatoes or cabbage.

  266. Oh, that's that's cabbage out there.

  267. But then there's a guy's got 1000 acres and you see the

  268. green? Oh, that's cabbage.

  269. But if at the at harvest time, the 10 acre guy, every one of

  270. his plants produce everyone. But you get over to the thousand

  271. acre guy and all he produces amounts to about 5 acres.

  272. Who was the more successful farmer?

  273. Because farming is not about how many plants you have in the

  274. field, is how much you harvest, and harvest is not being born

  275. again. Harvest is when a seed dies and

  276. what's in it comes out. Conversion is when a person gets

  277. born again. Discipleship is when you produce

  278. the fruits of the spirit consistently in your life and

  279. grow up in the things of God and able to crucify the flesh.

  280. You can have a field full of babies that will not change the

  281. world, although they're born again.

  282. But you get a handful of mature disciples, you'll turn the world

  283. upside down. So the goal was never for the

  284. church to pack it out with people.

  285. Coliseums, concerts, football stadiums, baseball stadiums,

  286. they all do that. Unfortunately, we're working on

  287. the Flagler deal. We're working on that.

  288. OK, we're packing these places out, but it's not changing

  289. people's lives. And we can do things in

  290. organized church again, and people are so hurt by those

  291. things that they blame every place when the reality is God

  292. never called us to convert people, He called us to

  293. discipleship. So the vision of the house must

  294. have discipleship a part of its equation.

  295. But here's the thing, Everybody wants it quick and it doesn't

  296. happen. Vision takes time.

  297. So again, God gave Noah a vision to build an ark.

  298. Took him 120 years. I'm glad he didn't quit, even

  299. though he had a lot of people telling him he was stupid.

  300. You're an idiot. What are you doing?

  301. You are. This is the dumbest thing I've

  302. ever seen a person do in my life.

  303. Until the water. Came.

  304. Are you hearing me? Abraham took 20 years to

  305. conceive his covenant son, once God got involved, took 20 years

  306. for him to conceive his covenant son, Joseph.

  307. It took him 20-3 years to get in position, and then another eight

  308. to maybe nine years for the dream he had as a child, as a

  309. teenage boy to come to pass. But he never abandoned it.

  310. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And let me just tell you how,

  311. how fast God is and how you know God's not worried one bit.

  312. When man fell from dominion, the Lord said I'm sending my seed.

  313. Took him a few. 1000 years for that to happen, but he said he's

  314. coming and did he come and did he die and did he raise and is

  315. he any heaven? Is he coming back?

  316. It's taking some time. But is he coming back?

  317. He's coming back and you're not going to stop it.

  318. The vision will come to pass. So what God has for this house

  319. and this church, it will come to pass.

  320. The only problem is, again, God had gave Abraham a different

  321. vision, he said. Your people are going to go into

  322. a nation that ultimately will make them slaves.

  323. They're going to be there for about 400 years, but I'm going

  324. to deliver them and bring them back to what you are on right

  325. now, a land flowing with milk and honey.

  326. Now, Abraham didn't even live to see the vision come to pass, but

  327. did it come to pass? Amen.

  328. So at the end of the day, there are things that have been spoken

  329. out that will come to pass. Now, when Moses is actually

  330. fulfilling that vision given to Abram, did everyone get into the

  331. promised land flowing with milk and honey?

  332. Nope. And they were at one time

  333. attached to the vision. Now you got to understand, when

  334. you get attached to a vision, there's two ways you can be

  335. attached to it on the outside. Meaning, you're around it,

  336. you're walking with it, but you're not actually a part of

  337. it. And you're in awe at what's

  338. going on. You get to on the outside, you

  339. can see every miracle. You can see everything come to

  340. pass. I mean, these people saw God

  341. part the Red Sea. Give them manna, you know, give

  342. them water. Before miracles saw this.

  343. So when they got you to promised land, this should be easy peasy,

  344. right? Instead, they didn't.

  345. And the Lord says, you'll watch this vision from the outside.

  346. So they still their clothes still didn't wear out, their

  347. feet still didn't swell because it can't have you dragging

  348. around when we got to walk around for 40 years till you die

  349. out. Are you hearing me now?

  350. How do you know if a person is in the vision or out of the

  351. vision when they're around it? It's what are they saying?

  352. If they're complaining, even though all these miracles are

  353. happening, they're not in it. They're on the outside looking

  354. in, and they they can testify with all of us.

  355. That person got healed, That took place.

  356. That miracle we got them. All this happened here.

  357. But yet complaining, which means in the ultimate grand scheme of

  358. the vision, there might be to the wayside, but it doesn't stop

  359. the vision. I've had people tell me

  360. personally through the years, I'm here to help you bring it to

  361. pass, but they're not here now. That's the issue between them

  362. and God now. Because if God had them here and

  363. they left here, then no matter what they're doing, that fruit

  364. is wood, hay and stubble. Say Amen anyway.

  365. So you can't feel the vision. You have to catch the vision.

  366. So how do you catch the vision? You have to believe what the

  367. vision says. See yourself in it and change

  368. your thinking to focus on it. In essence, you have to eat,

  369. breathe and drink it. It is the forefront of your mind

  370. and everything you do revolves around it.

  371. I said revolves around it. The greatest vision to have is

  372. the one that originates from God.

  373. Just because you can't believe it doesn't make it any less

  374. truth. Because I'm going to tell you

  375. right now. When God.

  376. Starts talking about doing stuff.

  377. It will make your mind go on tilt.

  378. You're like, what? OK, You you want us to do what?

  379. Right. OK, you go a little like, all

  380. right, well, I'll just believe you don't know how you're going

  381. to do it, but I'll just stand and believe.

  382. We'll just believe anyway. And again, I've imagined a lot

  383. of ways this can happen. So you're either going to do it

  384. one of these ways, I just figured it out, or you're going

  385. to blow my mind somewhere. Either way I'm OK because I know

  386. the vision will come to pass, Dr. Miles Monroe said this.

  387. The greatest gift God ever gave humanity is not sight, but

  388. vision. Sight is a function of the eyes,

  389. but vision is a function of the heart.

  390. And the problem is, most of the church at large has been sold.

  391. The gospel is about leaving and going to heaven when that was

  392. not what Jesus was selling. Jesus was communicating.

  393. I want your destiny to change. I want your nature to change,

  394. and I want you to have access to my Kingdom right here, right

  395. now, and I want the world to see it.

  396. And I'll do great exploits through all of you, because

  397. again, Jesus did not die for the individual.

  398. He died for this thing called the church, which includes

  399. individuals. Are you hearing me?

  400. He died for the body of Christ, Romans chapter 8 verse 28 says.

    Romans 8:28

  401. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good

  402. to those who love God. And we can't stop there, right?

  403. OK, To those who are called according to his purpose.

  404. So again, God's working things out for the good.

  405. If you meet the two conditions, you love God and you're called

  406. according to his purpose, not your purpose or not the purpose

  407. you want God to bless, right? Because if you'll do his purpose

  408. and doing his purpose is demonstrating you love him.

  409. Because Jesus said how do you? How?

  410. How do I know you love me? If you love me, you're going to

  411. keep my word. And I said you're going to do

  412. what I ask because I've laid down my life for you.

  413. I've done it in obedience to my father.

  414. I did what he asked me to do. Are you hearing me?

  415. And as a result of that, it's giving you access to our Kingdom

  416. for you to get in and to do the work that I've assigned for you

  417. to do with a whole bunch of other people.

  418. Amen, Doctor. Miles Monroe went on to say

  419. this. It's more important to know why

  420. you were born than to know the fact that you were born.

  421. If you don't know your reason for existence, then you will

  422. experiment with your life, and that is dangerous.

  423. Now, when I've read this all these other times, it was easy

  424. for me to jump over into natural abuses.

  425. I mean, when you don't know why you're created, Next thing you

  426. know, you'll experiment with sex, you'll experiment with

  427. drugs, you'll experiment with all you know, work, career, all

  428. kind of stuff. Then it hit me today.

  429. It's just not that when you don't know.

  430. Why you're born again, 'cause, he said.

  431. If you don't know why you're born, we are born twice, and the

  432. first birth is predicated on the second birth.

  433. Because if you don't make the second birth, then abuses are

  434. inevitable. Even if you're successful

  435. according to the world's way of saying success is but once

  436. you're you receive the second birth, the new birth, then it

  437. will affect the first birth. But if you don't know why your

  438. second birth is there, abuses are inevitable.

  439. And there are many believers that are abusing the church,

  440. abusing believers, abusing the fivefold ministry because they

  441. don't know why they were born again.

  442. And let me just give you an answer.

  443. It's not to go to heaven. That's not why you were born,

  444. why you were born again. Let me tell you another it was

  445. not so you could escape hell. Going to heaven and escape and

  446. and not going to hell are byproducts of the purpose you

  447. were born. The reason you're born again is

  448. so you can become a child of God and the Holy Ghost can come live

  449. on the inside of you and assign you the reason you are in the

  450. planet now and the purpose he has you here.

  451. That's why, and most never discover it.

  452. And the reason they never discover it, because another

  453. issue happens. If they know the why of their

  454. second birth, that it has something to do with purpose.

  455. But if they don't know it's connected to the church, 'cause

  456. there are many believers who read the word, watch it on TV,

  457. but they function like the rest of the world.

  458. They don't seek first the Kingdom, they don't put his

  459. church in any priority. And after Jesus died and

  460. ascended, Paul's writing concerning Jesus has a couple It

  461. keeps this title, the Christ, but then he has these references

  462. concerning him. He's the head of the church,

  463. he's the head of the body. There's always these

  464. connections. And again, if you say you know

  465. who you are in Christ, then you should be actively involved in a

  466. local body church. Helen Keller said it this way.

  467. The the only thing worse than being blind is having sight but

  468. no vision. When you when you know and

  469. understand what you were born to accomplish, that is purpose.

  470. When you can see it in your mind by faith and begin to imagine

  471. it, that is vision. First Corinthians chapter 12

    1 Corinthians 12:14–21

  472. verses 14 to 21. Says this, this is the message

  473. Bible, and then we'll jump down to verse 27, he said.

  474. I want you to think about how all this makes more

  475. significance. Than less, not less.

  476. A body isn't just a single part blown up into something huge,

  477. it's all the different but similar parts arranged and

  478. functioning. What together?

  479. Remember, Jesus is the head of the body.

  480. It's the body of now the minute we say body that includes you as

  481. an individual, God. Christ laid down his life so

  482. that the church could exist. And when the church exists, that

  483. means people are in His Kingdom. Remember, Jesus Christ is coming

  484. back for not you individually. And when we get this concept, we

  485. realize this doesn't diminish your individuality.

  486. Because again, I'm preaching you all right now and my fingers, it

  487. is not reduced, My ears are not reduced, my eyes are not

  488. reduced. But it's part of this, and I

  489. need it all. And thank God my lungs are are

  490. working right now. My heart's beating right now.

  491. You know, my vascular system's functioning right now and my

  492. muscular system's functioning. My nervous system and my

  493. skeletal system, all those things you can't see.

  494. I'm glad they're all working together, not compete with one

  495. another. And saying when Jesus comes,

  496. only my pinky gets to go, You know, cut me off and put me on a

  497. shelf. So when Jesus comes, I'll go

  498. with him, 'cause you'd be like, where's your pinky?

  499. Well, I lost it. I'm gonna say that again.

  500. Ah, so why does a believer think they're OK if they're

  501. disconnected? We call when something's off us.

  502. Lost, he says the body isn't a seeing isn't just a single part

  503. blown up into something huge. It's all different but similar

  504. parts arranged and functioning together.

  505. If a foot says I'm not elegant like hand like hand embellished

  506. with rings, I guess I don't belong to the body.

  507. Would that make it so? If ear said I'm not beautiful

  508. like I lipid and expressive, I don't deserve a place on the

  509. head. Would you want to remove it from

  510. the body? If the body was all I, how could

  511. you hear? If all ear, how could you smell

  512. as it is, as it is verse 16 very powerful verse as it is, we see

  513. that God has carefully placed each part of the body right

  514. where he wanted it, where he wanted it.

  515. And if God wanted you at Anchor Faith Church, then you've got to

  516. see yourself. There.

  517. And when you see yourself there, you don't see yourself there as

  518. this optional, like, body part that we can take off, 'cause if

  519. you can take off a body part, then you don't have the

  520. original. It's called a prosthetic.

  521. So if the church isn't something you're so connected to, then in

  522. essence you're really a prosthetic in his church.

  523. Oh, I'm preaching better than you're shouting.

  524. But that's fine, 'cause if you get it, then we'll all get it.

  525. Amen. See, people think that I'm only

  526. passionate about the church because I'm pastor.

  527. Do you understand how easy it would be in this society to

  528. leave all you folks and go get my little TV camera and preach

  529. to hundreds of billions of people and and and develop a

  530. following without having to counsel them, deal with their

  531. flesh? I mean, if it was just about

  532. that now I would have to mess up my doctrine because you don't

  533. get a huge following doing truth, 'cause you're doing truth

  534. and you're like, well, I have to be in the church.

  535. OK. So we act like that, but that's

  536. not the truth. The truth is I'm passionate

  537. about it because Christ died for me and put me in it.

  538. And then he said, you're this and who am I to argue but God

  539. say, but I'm not that, he said, But that's what you are, That's

  540. what I made you. That's what I ordained before

  541. the foundation of the world. I mean, the ear can't say, man,

  542. I want to be the big toe. You're not, you're not the big

  543. toe, you're not. And God knows what he wants you

  544. to be, right. All right.

  545. Let's go on and read or I'll never get done.

  546. Maybe I still. Won't we'll see.

  547. Verse 8.19 But I also want you to think about how this keeps

  548. you significant, keeps your significance from getting blown

  549. up into self importance. For no matter how significant

  550. you are, it is only because of what you are a part.

  551. Of. An enormous eye or a gigantic

  552. hand wouldn't be a body, but a monster.

  553. And let's just say if my hand swole out of proportion, you'd

  554. be like, what's wrong with your? Hand Oh, I got.

  555. I just got a big hand. You'd be like that's abnormal.

  556. Pastor Earl Yeah, but I can palm the basketball now.

  557. It's like a golf ball in my hand.

  558. That'd be kind of weird, wouldn't it?

  559. If my hand was so big, a basketball was like a golf ball

  560. in my hand, and you'd be like, what's wrong with you?

  561. And this is what we say about believers.

  562. Who are in church trying to be a big hand?

  563. You're like, what's wrong with you?

  564. That's not normal, right? Listen you We want to be normal.

  565. We want to flow, right? We don't want something to bring

  566. more attention than the other. All right.

  567. I'm OK. Hallelujah.

  568. He says. For no matter how significant

  569. you are. It is only because of what you

  570. are a part of verse 20. What we have is 1 body with many

  571. parts. Each is each its proper size and

  572. its proper place. No part is important on its own.

  573. Can you imagine I telling hand get lost.

  574. I don't need you or head telling foot you're fired.

  575. Your job has been phased out. Verse 27 You are Christ body.

  576. That's who you are. You must never forget this.

  577. Only as you accept your part of that body does your part mean

  578. anything. See, all vision from God is for

  579. the bettering of humanity, thus requires multiple people to

  580. accomplish. It if the vision you have only

  581. includes you, it is and is independent from the Church.

  582. It is not from God. It is not.

  583. When I pastor, I got, I got this ministry really Well, who are

  584. you submitted to? Where are you bringing your

  585. supply to the local body? Because he said we are joining

  586. him where we bring our supply and there's plenty of them out

  587. there, right? But that's independent.

  588. And it's not from God. Because, again, the world has

  589. plenty of programs that help humanity, but they don't

  590. originate from God. All vision requires people.

  591. The vision from God will be accomplished.

  592. Vision doesn't fail, but people may fail the.

  593. Vision. Not everyone will.

  594. Stay with the vision, but the vision will come to pass.

  595. And I think for me, young coming into ministry and God dealing

  596. with me when I say dealing with me, it just seemed like he

  597. showed me enough in scripture that it was not problematic.

  598. I realized if I'm the keeper of the vision, meaning I'm the one

  599. who's spearheading what anchor Faith Church is, then at the end

  600. of the day, if not everyone stays, I'm not going to be upset

  601. about it because not everyone stayed with the Lord.

  602. And if God can't keep everybody, what makes me think I can?

  603. In fact, God had no problem with some going, and some pastors

  604. would do better by their churches to let some go, maybe

  605. even ask. Hallelujah.

  606. Amen. Because if you're not building

  607. the vision, you're killing the vision, right?

  608. Least you're trying to. But the Lord's vision will come

  609. to pass. What's anchor Fay Church's

  610. vision? We ignite the city, impact the

  611. nation, influence the world, write these verses down.

  612. When we say we ignite the city, we come out of Luke chapter 24,

    Luke 24:32

  613. verse 32, and they said to one another, we're not our hearts

  614. burning within us while we were, while he was speaking to us on

  615. the road, while he was explaining the scripture to us.

  616. And Jeremiah 2329 says, is not my word like fire, declares the

  617. Lord. That tells me that every person

  618. that's connected to Anchor Bay Church when they talk to people,

  619. that it should ignite their hearts.

  620. It should burn in them. When the you walk away, that

  621. conversation should stay kindled in them, should stay kindled in

  622. them. And Jesus was explaining script,

  623. which means my assignment is to decipher you so articulate in

  624. the Kingdom of God that you could go around talking like

  625. Jesus did about his own Kingdom, that it would ignite the hearts

  626. of people. That's right.

  627. And it would stay ablaze in them for as long as the Holy Ghost is

  628. allowing it. Or they themselves try to

  629. quench. It.

  630. Are you hearing me? Then our next is to impact the

  631. nation that comes from John 1412.

  632. Truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the

  633. works that I do, and greater works than these he will do

  634. because I go to the Father and Matthew 10/8, heal the sick,

  635. cleanse the leopard, raise the dead, cast out demons freely you

  636. have received and freely give. What we do on a local level here

  637. should become so impactful that no matter where we go it, we

  638. carry that. Culture with us.

  639. I said we carry that culture with.

  640. Us. Everywhere we go, we carry the

  641. culture of the king. The last one is to influence the

  642. world, it said in Acts 17 Six, the latter part are within it.

  643. These men who have turned the world upside down, and Matthew

  644. 514, you are the light of the world.

  645. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden and that's who we are.

  646. This is our assignment. This is what we are here to do

  647. and our greatest influence is right here locally, of which we

  648. are doing a significant job of. But but they are pull calling on

  649. us to do more. And the assignment is so large

  650. that it requires you to say I've got to find my fit and be

  651. passionate about fulfilling it. Which means your job is not your

  652. number one thought process. Although you're going to hold a

  653. job because it's where God pays you to be an ambassador at the

  654. workplace. Are you hearing me?

  655. But there are other assignments that are going to come that

  656. you've got to jump right in or say that's why he sent me here.

  657. What's our purpose statement? It is to anchor people in the

  658. word that they may live a life of dominion on earth through the

  659. Kingdom by faith. That's our purpose.

  660. So my job is to get you so anchored in the word that no

  661. matter what storms of life come, they can't get you off.

  662. Can't get you off. No matter what someone says to

  663. you can't get you off. And then you'll have such

  664. dominion you will be able to pull heaven's realm into your

  665. realm, into this earth we're going to.

  666. That's our purpose. Which means everything we do is

  667. to demonstrate that our mission is to minister to people's

  668. spirit, soul and body. So you just can't eat like you

  669. want to and expect to remain healthy.

  670. We're going to talk to you about it, 'cause that is the temple of

  671. the Holy Ghost, and some of your healings are direct result of

  672. your diet. Are you hearing me?

  673. I remember one particular minister that I knew that was

  674. overweight would say that, you know, one of the most disgusting

  675. things is a person who reads the word but it's overweight.

  676. The Who preaches the word, but it's overweight because they're

  677. outside demonstrates that lack of self.

  678. Control. And they themselves were.

  679. So in essence they said they hated themselves.

  680. And that was a true statement. But the reality is, I'm not

  681. telling you what your perfect size is.

  682. Everybody can carry somebody fat, you understand that.

  683. I'm just saying you got to find out what health is for you with

  684. your body type and be doing some exercise.

  685. I heard one guy say if a person smoked cigarettes but worked out

  686. every day, would last longer than someone who did not smoke

  687. cigarettes and did not exercise. Now why do I say that?

  688. Because God has given us the ability to strengthen this suit

  689. for the purpose of us of finishing our assignment.

  690. OK, obviously we've got to do with your mind.

  691. Because if your mind don't get renewed, it don't matter that

  692. you're born of the Spirit, because there are a lot of born

  693. of the Spirit people who cannot control their mind or their

  694. natural man, flesh and man, they just don't dominate.

  695. So we have to deal with it all. Say Amen anyway.

  696. So that's why we preach how we preach.

  697. Amen. Hallelujah.

  698. Now I'll just be honest with you in the realm of the body.

  699. I am 20 lbs. Too heavy right now and you can

  700. look at me and say no way, but you're not in my suit, number

  701. one. Number two, you don't know how I

  702. feel. I know how I feel. 20 lbs Less.

  703. I'm better at that weight. I could carry this the rest of

  704. my life, but I have the knowledge that knows I'm more

  705. efficient there and you can't make me get it off.

  706. And you don't even try just to let you know because y'all bring

  707. me stuff all the time. You don't even help me.

  708. Half of you. Hey Pastor, it's a doughnut.

  709. Do I have to exercise self constraint or I'll have to work

  710. out more? No one offends you.

  711. I'm just saying, what I'm saying is I know my personal This ain't

  712. vanity, this is I know how I flow because I've never been big

  713. as a person. I've always been a small person

  714. and I don't need to be big. I need to be what's right for

  715. me. Are you hearing me?

  716. We play. I jumped on the flag.

  717. Football. As a sub.

  718. And that was problematic. It's deceptive.

  719. You know, Pastor, you're in shape.

  720. Yeah, until I played flag football.

  721. Wow, What happened? It's in there somewhere.

  722. We are to establish a Word Church that would equip and

  723. empower people to impact their community in worlds and world.

  724. Ours is the family oriented church that facilitates the need

  725. of every age group through church services and outreach

  726. ministries to the community. Now guys, we do a real good job

  727. in this house. We're doing a lot better outside

  728. and the outside's calling us. I said they're calling us,

  729. they're calling us, they're calling us.

  730. And we need to be able to do something.

  731. Our Ministry motto, and I love this.

  732. It actually, my son Chase actually got this in his spirit

  733. When he said it, it hit, and we've kept it since then.

  734. And our Ministry motto is we're always advancing.

  735. I need to actually get this trademarked.

  736. We're always advancing, always advancing.

  737. We're always advancing. I'm never going to get to a

  738. place like that's enough. It's never going to happen.

  739. And if you're waiting for us to get to a place where you can

  740. coast, you might as well get out now.

  741. No coasters here. We're just people full of

  742. purpose. Amen.

  743. I said. People full of purpose.

  744. We see ourselves in a vision. We going to do this thing and.

  745. Let me tell you, You're not too old to do something.

  746. You're not too old to do something.

  747. You're not too young to do something.

  748. You could be too immature to do some things, and I won't let

  749. you. That may be true, but age is not

  750. the issue. OK?

  751. There's plenty of things to get involved with.

  752. All right? You need to understand then,

  753. that true vision, Doctor Miles said.

  754. This is also unselfish. Its purpose is to bring about

  755. God's Kingdom on earth and turn people to him, A vision their

  756. voice should always focus on helping.

  757. Humanity or building up others in some way.

  758. And I you would have to agree that anchor Faith Church does

  759. that that we are helping humanity and also helping others

  760. be better, be better we're here to.

  761. Grow, develop, make us more understanding who we are in

  762. Christ to do these things, and we need to have this as a part

  763. of our DNA. We need to all be keepers.

  764. Of this vision. We need to be.

  765. Passionate about this thing. And we need to be passionate

  766. about anything that God wants us to do and and and desires for us

  767. to carry out in our community, our nation and the world.

  768. Because the days coming that again the world, there are many

  769. in the world that are looking to Christ and the best reflection

  770. is not the personal one-on-one but it is the church unifying.

  771. You get things happening way faster when people unify.

  772. And why does the church not learn this?

  773. I mean, the world is so good at bringing unity around their

  774. causes that is not really helping anyone but themselves.

  775. Because all world causes, although it has the ability to

  776. help others, is only serving the one pushing it.

  777. There are only a few things and if things haven't originated out

  778. of the church, it will not have lasting effect.

  779. It will not and we could take and we are to affect every

  780. sector of society. We are not disconnected from

  781. business, from government, from education, from, from arts and

  782. entertainment. We're not disconnected from

  783. family. In fact, family is not a part of

  784. or in a list. It's not God, family.

  785. Church that is not God. How do you separate God from

  786. church? How does that even happen?

  787. How can there be God? And Jesus is the head of the

  788. church, which is his body, but yet your natural family can get

  789. in between God and his church. How does that even happen?

  790. It can't. You're separating the church

  791. from God. When you say God, you have to

  792. say church. So if you want to keep God,

  793. family, church, then you should see my family is in God and the

  794. church because they're together. I'm right in the middle of it

  795. all. Not I spend time with my family

  796. and then we go to church. Amen.

  797. Now I'm just going to be honest with you.

  798. For those who have that vision, their life is exceedingly

  799. prosperous, blessed, and they always overcome every one of

  800. their trials. I've never met a believer who is

  801. passionate about the local body Church.

  802. I'm not talking about pastors, although they are included in

  803. this. Five full minutes are included.

  804. In this. But I've seen Saints that are

  805. passionate about the local body, church and their fit, that their

  806. life is not always thriving and any trial they have, they always

  807. come out. They always come out and they

  808. come out better. I've never seen one, never.

  809. But I have seen those that disconnect that don't put the

  810. priority 'cause they lose their. Purpose.

  811. And again, at the end of the day, you need to understand I'm

  812. not here to condemn you, and I'm not condemning you.

  813. So please don't feel like you're being condemned.

  814. You have the power to be wherever you want to be.

  815. Because I didn't make you come tonight, right?

  816. You came on your own free will. Right.

  817. You know, when I came and I didn't expect to be able to talk

  818. to me like that, I'm not talking to you.

  819. This is what we're talking about, the church, this talking

  820. about, the vision, this talking about.

  821. And again, you either find yourself really more involved

  822. with Where God planted. You or you?

  823. Can find yourself somewhere else.

  824. I get it. But I'm just telling you anyone

  825. that says that's where I am, that's where God's planted me,

  826. and I'll give everything to that.

  827. That person's always thriving and most of the time when

  828. they're in conflict you'll never even know it.

  829. You won't even know it. Are you hearing me?

  830. What kind of church are we? We're a God honoring church.

  831. We're a Christ centered church. We're a Bible teaching church.

  832. We're a consecrated church. We're evangelistic church, We're

  833. serving church, we're giving church, we're praising church.

  834. We're a. Multi.

  835. A national church. We're a spirit filled church,

  836. Spirit LED church. We are an expected church.

  837. We are a Kingdom church. That's who we are.

  838. And let me tell you, the vision is bigger than any one of us,

  839. yet it takes every one of us to accomplish it, because God has

  840. not called us to do the possible, but the impossible in

  841. 2024 is a year of impossibles being possible, of impossibles

  842. being possible, because God is shifting things He's doing.

  843. Things. He's moving things and he's

  844. strengthening his church. He's putting his church in the

  845. power play. He is.

  846. He's elevating it to such a level that when he calls it out,

  847. listen, there's got to be a reason why.

  848. Before, if you if you look at the different times God brought

  849. wrath, there were always a remnant of people that he

  850. highlighted with great power and delivered them so that all those

  851. around that we're going to get his wrath knew those people had

  852. been wrought in God. And he's going to do it with his

  853. church. That the world's going to know

  854. the most powerful thing that was on the planet was his church.

  855. And we didn't go. We hated it.

  856. We we persecuted it. We came after it.

  857. And the more we try to do, it just got stronger and stronger

  858. and stronger and stronger and now it's gone and we wish it

  859. was. Back the question is are you

  860. going to be planted in it in some local place.

  861. But I can tell you for this House we going to serve this

  862. vision and it's going to come to pass.

  863. I said it's going to come to pass.

  864. I I am firmly persuaded that God will give me vision beyond the

  865. catching away. I'm becoming convinced of this.

  866. Now you said well that's big. How are we going to accomplish

  867. that? We have, Tom, we'll take a

  868. seven-year break, get a battle plans and then we'll come back

  869. because think about it, what is? The role of the Church.

  870. Oh, thank you Jesus. Oh, please understand this.

  871. If you have really spent time to rightly divide the truth, you'll

  872. know that Jesus, who is the Christ, the head of the church.

  873. What did he say? What was the message of the head

  874. of the Church? Repent.

  875. For the Kingdom of God is at hand.

  876. The role of the Church is to expand this Kingdom.

  877. That's all we're here for, and to allow people to get in.

  878. And when the millennial reign comes, guess what it's just

  879. about it's Kingdom expansion. With no devil on the planet,

  880. we'll just pick right back up, expanding his Kingdom under a

  881. whole another set of laws, another way of operation.

  882. It's going to look a little different because Jesus will be

  883. here with us. Amen.

  884. So I believe I'm going to give vision beyond here and they'll

  885. say, OK, let's go back and pick that up now and let's do this

  886. and let's do this and let's do this.

  887. I mean, Can you imagine? If all of a sudden all of

  888. downtown Saint Augustine got born again, what if the next

  889. time we went and engaged W Augustine the whole every street

  890. from W King all the way over to Four Mile Rd. or whatever.

  891. That one boom. All born again.

  892. Wouldn't that be amazing? We went out to Palencia and all

  893. those people got right with God. Are you hearing me?

  894. Just expanding millennial reign. There's a lot going to be

  895. happening, a lot of opportunities.

  896. That's what we want because that's what the church does.

  897. So when you look at yourself and say, but pastor, I'm this old,

  898. doesn't matter. There's an assignment for you.

  899. I hope my my ear don't fall off before I get in the grave.

  900. Right. I hope it doesn't fall off.

  901. What happened to your ear at 90? It fell off.

  902. I hope that doesn't happen. Right.

  903. It's not. Going to happen, but you.

  904. Understand what I'm saying. You're not falling off.

  905. You have to get into fit and do 'cause when you do that, then

  906. that spiritual activity will help your mind.

  907. It definitely will help your body.

  908. Next thing you know, you'll be running.

  909. Amen. Well, Father, we thank you for

  910. your word tonight. We thank you.

  911. With this group, we could stir them up with a vision because

  912. 2024 is in route. It's coming.

  913. And Father, we're going to be ready as a church, a body

  914. running together as one. Although we're all individuals,

  915. we're not here to take a name for ourselves.

  916. We're only to exalt one name and his name's Jesus and expand one

  917. thing and that's his Kingdom. Use us God to do this.

  918. We give you honor and glory and praise for.

  919. Thank you so much for listening to this message.
