  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message Podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message we. Tied out our message.

  4. You know, cloudy with a chance of rain because the Lord's

  5. coming back in a cloud. Now, I do want to preface this

  6. last week. I had no intention of explaining

  7. to you of the passages I used of which one is the coming of

  8. Christ for the catching away the Church and the coming of Christ

  9. where he's going to put his foot down and reign for 1000 years.

  10. I know I use both passages. The point of the message was

  11. that when he comes in the cloud, either occasion, it is a scene

  12. event. That was the point.

  13. That was the point. The point was that, you know, I.

  14. So again, you know, I understand how it can be, especially people

  15. who, you know are studying last day at eschatology events.

  16. There's always that little thing, you know, OK, Is this

  17. because people debate whether there's a mid post pre Trib, a

  18. post a mid Trib and a post Trib? Well, the Bible is very clear

  19. about a pre Trib, extremely clear.

  20. But it's also cleared about a mid Trib because the two

  21. witnesses will be in the middle and they'll be called up.

  22. The two will. So there is one.

  23. It's just not a mass exodus, all right.

  24. And then there's going to be things that have take place in

  25. the end before he comes down. Amen.

  26. Right when he comes and puts his foot down.

  27. But that was not our comments for there.

  28. We wanted to just go through the scripture because we've all,

  29. most of us are. The popular stance is that when

  30. the catch in the way of the church happens, it's going to

  31. happen and we're just going to vanish and no one's going to

  32. know where we're at. But we saw yesterday, last week

  33. that the Scripture doesn't actually support that thought

  34. process. It actually is an event that is

  35. globally known. You have an opportunity to share

  36. once you're changed the Bible. The only quick deal is that you

  37. are changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye.

  38. OK? And again, even some of the

  39. words associated with change is like violent.

  40. It's like a, a, a casting off. I mean, you don't understand if

  41. your clothes were on fire, how fast you think you'd get rid of

  42. them. So again, you know, the fact

  43. that you change like violently, you violently throw off

  44. immortality or mortality and put on immortality.

  45. You understand what I'm saying? That still doesn't say you're

  46. leaving just as fast. Now I'm not going to.

  47. I'm not saying that once you start to ascend, it's not quick.

  48. I happen to use a hot air balloon, you know, last week.

  49. And, you know, and through my conversation, I'm like, I'm

  50. going to change that and let them know we on the coast of

  51. Florida have the Kennedy Space Center.

  52. Have you ever seen the Kennedy Space Center now?

  53. Have you ever, on a clear day when a rocket goes off, been

  54. able to stand on the East Coast, way up here in Saint Augustine

  55. and see the rocket ascend? Yeah, Now is that like getting

  56. out of the planet? I mean rockets are like getting

  57. out of the planet. They are taking off.

  58. I mean that's not like low speed, that's not like helium

  59. balloon stuff. I mean it is blasting off, yet

  60. we watched the cloud of smoke behind it and watch it and as

  61. fast as it's going, we can still see it.

  62. Hallelujah. So better illustration there.

  63. Amen. But with that being said then

  64. you know again, we're, we call this cloudy with a chance of

  65. rain because you're like, what do you mean a chance?

  66. Well, again, there's popular teaching.

  67. And just because popular teaching is out there, it

  68. depends on what lens you're looking at.

  69. And again, we, the reason why we wrote the book The Forest is

  70. because we've said a lot of times people lose the Bible

  71. because they get very specific in their tree doctrine.

  72. Salvation is a tree in the forest.

  73. Healing is a tree in the forest. Deliverance is a tree in the

  74. forest. Forgiveness is a tree in the

  75. forest. Mercy.

  76. All of those trees we could study and we would never exhaust

  77. how much we could pull out of those trees in the lifetime that

  78. we are on the Earth. But the Bible's not just about

  79. salvation, it's not just about salvation.

  80. So if we only look through the tree of salvation, then we only

  81. see the salvation parts and we miss the other stuff.

  82. Amen. And so as the, you know, saying

  83. is they miss the forest for the trees.

  84. A lot of churches sometimes miss the forest for the trees, which

  85. means then some of the things that, you know, we're all asking

  86. questions. Well, Lord, what does this mean?

  87. How's this going to be? What does that look like?

  88. Well, if we're only looking at through the revelation that we

  89. currently have, we could find that maybe some of the things we

  90. thought aren't actually as it is thought.

  91. But once you expand and begin to see the bigger picture, then

  92. things start to open up a little bit more and we want to be able

  93. to address those. So in Matthew chapter 15, verse

    Matthew 15 chapter mention

  94. three, we'll start with this scripture again and he answered

  95. and said to them, why do yourselves transgress the

  96. command of God for the sake of your tradition?

  97. Now Jesus is obviously talking to people who have access to his

  98. word. That's who he's talking to here.

  99. He's talking to the scribes and the priests, the Pharisees.

  100. These are people who have the scrolls, they have the Torah,

  101. they have the 1st 5 writings of Moses, They have the Prophets,

  102. they have the Psalms, they have all these writings.

  103. And in their office as priests, they have an anointing to come

  104. upon them 'cause in the old covenant, the anointing would

  105. come upon the Prophet, priest and King.

  106. And so there's an anointing that comes upon them so that they can

  107. know what the word says. It doesn't matter that their

  108. spirit man is dead. Doesn't matter.

  109. I'm going to say that again, it doesn't matter.

  110. Because if someone tried to conclude, well, you know, all

  111. these people weren't born again. Well, Abraham wasn't born again,

  112. yet he wasn't in he was in paradise.

  113. He wasn't in the grave where he couldn't be redeemed.

  114. That man lived by faith, and when he died and went to the

  115. grave, he was in a place that allowed him to be able to be

  116. redeemed or pulled out of, because he was believing for the

  117. day that the Messiah would come. Amen.

  118. So Abraham was never born again of the Spirit.

  119. Yet because he was a prophet, the Holy Spirit would come upon

  120. him and give him enough insight and revelation that he could

  121. live by faith. Are you hearing me?

  122. OK, so again, we can't discredit everything because none of these

  123. people were born. Again, people have the

  124. responsibility of what they knew and the revelation by which God

  125. brought it. And this particular group Jesus

  126. is talking to saying, I know that the Spirit has revealed to

  127. you my truth. You're choosing to not do it.

  128. You like your way of doing it better.

  129. In essence, you want to serve God on your terms and not on

  130. God's terms. OK, so with that being said,

  131. let's look at a couple things. We ended with this passage of

  132. scripture last week, Luke 21, verses 27 to 28, it says this.

    Luke 21:27–28

  133. And they shall see the Son of Man again.

  134. They shall what it's going to see, see the Son of Man coming

  135. in a cloud with power and great glory.

  136. Again, I'm not here to tell you which one that is.

  137. That's not the point. Because the point is verse 28.

  138. Now, when these things begin to happen, that is not relating to

  139. verse 27. It's relating to the things that

  140. have been said prior to that. But you understand the context

  141. was what's when we going to know that the kingdom's coming,

  142. You're going to set it up. That's what we're talking about

  143. here. And so he begins to give him a

  144. whole list of different signs, things that they can be able to

  145. see, discern, to know the signs of the times.

  146. And he mentions this particular one, that you'll see the Son of

  147. Man coming in cloud with power and great glory, he said.

  148. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your

  149. heads because your redemption draws nigh.

  150. And I said to you last week, most of the time in that

  151. particular passage of Scripture, we tend to kind of look at that

  152. in the context of, you know, all the things we're seeing that at

  153. anytime Jesus may come. And that is true.

  154. But is it also, could it be a context that when we do actually

  155. look up and see him and we're changing the moment of a

  156. twinkling eye that we're fixing to move into a seven-year

  157. process with the Lord before we return and we're going to be

  158. getting assignments while we're with Him.

  159. So when we return to Earth with him in the millennial reign,

  160. we'll know where God has given us dominion to rule on the

  161. planet with Him during that particular rain.

  162. And that we can say our redemption or this thing's about

  163. to close. We're going up to get our

  164. marching orders for the next age.

  165. Are you hearing me? Now?

  166. This word look up means this. It comes from a Greek word that

  167. means to raise up. That's pretty obvious, right,

  168. because it says look up or to raise up.

  169. But it comes from a root Greek word which means to bow the

  170. head. Now you say, well how can you

  171. look up and bow the head? Well, the root part is bow the

  172. head. When you add the prefix of the

  173. Greek word, then it makes it the opposite.

  174. So if you're bowing your head, then the opposite of that would

  175. be what to look up. But this root word, it's base

  176. meaning, or this, this, this particular what is that suffix

  177. word has a base, which means it comes from another word, which

  178. is the root of which this next, this word we just said, which

  179. means to bow your head, comes from.

  180. It means this. A wave or of impulse and

  181. restless men tossed to and fro by their raging desires or

  182. passions. Now, when you know it that way,

  183. put that verse back up. In essence, he's saying this.

  184. When all these things begin to happen, you need to quit running

  185. around to and fro with your fleshly passions.

  186. It's time to get rid of that and get yourself in the position

  187. God's created you in. In essence, look up, do the

  188. opposite of being this person. That is like the wave of the sea

  189. that James talked about. He says, OK, if any man lacks

  190. wisdom, let him ask God, right? And James and he says, you know.

  191. But when he asks, he must ask in faith, not doubting, because if

  192. he doubts, he's like a man tossed in the sea.

  193. That man should expect to receive.

  194. Now that's a righteous man in covenant with God, but he won't

  195. receive because he has doubt. That's a righteous man that's

  196. been born by in a new covenant, by the blood of Jesus, a child

  197. of God. But they can expect to receive

  198. nothing because of doubt. So in essence he's saying quit

  199. doubting, quit running after your flesh get up and then he

  200. goes on and says and lift up your heads.

  201. Now when you break that word heads down, it goes down to the

  202. Christ Lord of the of the husband or the church.

  203. So in essence he's saying look up, get rid of all your little

  204. worldly passions. Don't let anything of the world

  205. hold on to you anymore. You better get rid of that stuff

  206. and you better put on the mind of Christ.

  207. What you need to do is you need to start thinking like you are

  208. in Christ because your redemption is drawing not are

  209. you hearing me? So we then need to understand a

  210. couple of things. Because again, Jesus tells the

  211. the Pharisees, the the, the scribes, these that have access

  212. to the anointing in order to be to have revelation of the word

  213. in that age to where they could walk in it by faith.

  214. And they in turn were deciding how they were going to follow

  215. God. And then God must be pleased

  216. with it. We're going to do it our way.

  217. We're going to tell you how you should interpret your own word.

  218. Are you hearing me? OK, we have the same problem

  219. today because again, we must let God define how he wants us to

  220. interact with Him, right? And again, any church that

  221. believes Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the

  222. grave, any of them, they're all going to conclude our only way

  223. to have a relationship with the Father is to believe in our

  224. heart and confess with our mouth.

  225. Jesus Christ as Lord. That is the way.

  226. And there's not a alternative. Correct.

  227. There's not a. So that's God defining to us.

  228. This is how you have the relationship.

  229. That's not us telling God. This is how I'm going to have

  230. the relationship, OK? And that is generally easily

  231. accepted. However, how to love God is not

  232. that is not generally accepted because although Jesus clearly

  233. defines how to love him, the church is basically after

  234. they're born again. Say now I'm going to tell you

  235. how I will love you and you should just accept it.

  236. All right. Hallelujah.

  237. I thought y'all were ready for today because it has not got

  238. tough yet. Hallelujah.

  239. Amen. Praise the Lord.

  240. Say I'm ready to receive from the Lord by the Spirit what the

  241. word has to say, and my tradition has got to go.

  242. All right, So Jesus in Mark chapter 12, verse 30 says this.

    Mark 12:30

  243. And you? Who's you?

  244. That's us. And you shall love the Lord your

  245. God. How with all your heart, comma,

  246. and with all your soul, comma, And with all your mind, comma,

  247. and with all your strength. This is how you're going to love

  248. him. So you cannot say you love God

  249. and stop at your heart. Well, the Lord knows my heart.

  250. He knows I love him. He said.

  251. Well, what about your soul? What about your mind?

  252. And when he say soul, you understand what well you know?

  253. Do you love him with all your emotions?

  254. Do you subject your emotions to him that when situations happen,

  255. you love him so much that when the Holy Ghost in you says don't

  256. get angry about that, you submit your emotions?

  257. Well, now he understands. You know my family.

  258. He's like, excuse me, I thought you were in my family.

  259. Yes. Last I checked, you were under

  260. the blood. That's a new family.

  261. I don't care about your natural bloodline anymore.

  262. You're in a spiritual bloodline. OK, With all your mind.

  263. Is that what you think on is that what you move towards is

  264. all your thought processes towards the Lord?

  265. If everything you do is it based upon, are you doing it the way

  266. God? And then with all your strength?

  267. Meaning you get my strength first?

  268. Yes, that's right. And you know what I love about

  269. God when it comes to your strength?

  270. First, that's means physically present to participate in his

  271. local body in the fit that he's designed for you.

  272. That when you really accumulate the 168 hours that you are

  273. functioning in a week, that God's really not asking a whole

  274. lot of you. And when you take that time and

  275. compare it to other time, it's really a a small amount.

  276. But what it does for all your other time if you'll just submit

  277. to it. Are you hearing me?

  278. So we are to love God, basically our spirit, soul and body.

  279. Everything about us is his. Are you hearing me?

  280. So again, if I love him with all my strength or with my body.

  281. So how can a believer be fornicating with someone else?

  282. Well, the Lord knows I love them and I love them too.

  283. Would And why are you shaking up?

  284. Just say Amen anyway. All right.

  285. You have the ability to keep your body under subjection.

  286. Let's go on to the next one. John, Chapter 14, verse 15.

    John 14:15

  287. She's very clear here. This is in red red letter stuff.

  288. If you have a red letter Bible, Jesus says if, that's

  289. conditional statement, so do you meet the condition?

  290. If you love me, that's an emphatic answer.

  291. If you love me, if you love who, Jesus, you will keep my

  292. commandment. So to say, I love him and not

  293. keep his commandment or his word.

  294. Who's lying now? Can I truly be able to say I

  295. love Jesus? And yet Jesus says Bull, why

  296. don't you keep my word? So Jesus's definition of loving

  297. him and my definition could be different.

  298. Now who do you think he's going to follow?

  299. Your definition of love or his? OK, jump on down to verse 21.

  300. He says it this way. He says He who has my

  301. commandments and what keeps them is the one who loves me.

  302. And he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will

  303. love him and disclose myself to him.

  304. Hallelujah. So it's very clear then that

  305. Jesus defines this term and that we are to love Him with all of

  306. our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

  307. In essence, anything He's telling us, both in a general

  308. sense, in the word that covers every one of us, and then in a

  309. specific sense based upon our purpose and our personal

  310. relationship with Him. If we're demonstrating love, we

  311. are obeying it because that is really loving Jesus.

  312. Anything else is a counterfeit. It is a counterfeit.

  313. And you can say I love you all day long, but that doesn't make

  314. God come off the throne and go, well, we're going to take you.

  315. You know what? I I understand you're busy.

  316. I get it. I see all the problems you have.

  317. I get it. You know you're doing the best

  318. you can. That's not what he says.

  319. Because for he's like, I see all the problems.

  320. That's why I'm going to give you my word.

  321. You'll overcome everything, right?

  322. I gave you my nature. This is going to be easy.

  323. I said. It's going to be easy.

  324. In fact, he said it was easy. He said my yoke is easy.

  325. My burden is light. We got this.

  326. He said be a good cheer, man. You going to have some trials

  327. and tribulations? That's all Good.

  328. I've already conquered this bad boy.

  329. So you understand, if I've done all this, the least you can do

  330. is do what I say. But it's not the least.

  331. It's what's required. I said it's what's required.

  332. This is not fantasy. This is the reality of

  333. Scripture. And we also know that the

  334. Scripture tells us that we are to live by faith.

  335. Are you hearing me? So let me throw out a thought

  336. process. Are you ready?

  337. Oh, I hope so. Hallelujah.

  338. Does it require faith to be born again?

  339. OK, let me step. Take a step back.

  340. Has Jesus come in? Has Jesus?

  341. Has Jesus been to the earth, born of the flesh, died on the

  342. cross, and rose from the dead? Has the action of his blood

  343. being put on the mercy seat enough payment to deal with

  344. every sin that's ever been committed?

  345. Has it been finished once and for all?

  346. So from a blood perspective, sin has no power For who?

  347. Everyone? For everyone.

  348. So whether a person is born again or not, payments made, is

  349. it not, He doesn't go up to the mercy seat when a person comes

  350. down and says I'm going to receive Jesus as Lord, OK, go

  351. ahead and cut me. Let me pour a little blood out

  352. for them. Does he do that?

  353. No. You said that's already been

  354. applauded. It's already been there.

  355. It's done right. So then, in the spirit realm, or

  356. in the realm of God? No one technically, or everyone

  357. trying to see how I can say this from the perspective of the

  358. blood, they're all saved, but we know not everyone's saved.

  359. What's required for them to receive salvation?

  360. Faith. Believe in your heart.

  361. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

  362. Faith is what brings it to pass. It's the grace of God through

  363. faith, right? So even though in the realm of

  364. the blood so to speak, is finished yet it doesn't actually

  365. apply to a person in the realm of receiving until faith's

  366. there. So they can't have it till they

  367. have faith in it, right? OK, so we know then that when

  368. people receive Jesus as Lord, is faith required.

  369. From then on it says the righteous shall.

  370. OK, so a born again person that's in Christ, in Christ,

  371. they in God's eyes they are his child.

  372. Period. Are there other benefits they

  373. could have? OK, one of those benefits is

  374. baptism of the Holy Ghost, right?

  375. To be in do with power. Are there believers on the

  376. planet today that are born again but not baptized in the Spirit?

  377. Why 'cause they haven't exercised faith, so it's

  378. available, but yet they're not walking in it because they

  379. haven't received it. How, by faith, Hallelujah,

  380. healing is it for today? But how many are born again by

  381. faith, even endued with power? By faith, where the evidence of

  382. that power they've received it is?

  383. They speak in the language of the Kingdom.

  384. It's called an unknown tongue. Yet they themselves stay sick.

  385. Why? For some they have no faith at

  386. all. There's not faith concerning it.

  387. Look at Hebrews chapter 4. I want to read this scripture

    Hebrews 4 chapter mention

  388. real quick, just so you understand, says for indeed we

  389. have had good news preached to us, just as they also.

  390. But the word they heard did not what profit them.

  391. Why? Because it was not united by

  392. faith in those who heard. Those who heard.

  393. Can we receive anything from God without faith?

  394. OK, that's not entirely it is true.

  395. But yet it's, you know, there's a little we need to talk about

  396. this. I can literally have no faith,

  397. and yet God can do something for me.

  398. He can. But it's through somebody else's

  399. thank you. It's through somebody else's

  400. faith, OK? Because again, the gifts of the

  401. Spirit can function in someone who believes that they've heard

  402. the Spirit in a particular area, let's say the working of

  403. miracles. OK?

  404. And because of that yielding to it.

  405. Then they go by faith to a person who has no faith at all,

  406. that they will be delivered and have a miracle happen in their

  407. life, a physical miracle. Yet they lay hands on them and

  408. the miracle works. Are you hearing me now?

  409. Does God want us to live that way?

  410. Obviously not, because Jesus had this issue with the guy that was

  411. carrying had his mat and he went to him and he says do you want

  412. to be healed, You know, And he ended up telling him, He said,

  413. well you know, basically he healed him.

  414. He didn't even know who Jesus was.

  415. He said take up your mat and go. Then when Jesus found him later,

  416. he says go and sin no more so that nothing worse will come on

  417. you. Because again, here's the thing

  418. that a lot of believers have this messed up mindset about,

  419. and I don't know why that is, is that because we have the ability

  420. to have health in our bodies, that doesn't mean we're going to

  421. be immortal, that we'll live forever again.

  422. And I'm going to say this, the Bible says this.

  423. It's been appointed once for man to die, OK?

  424. As people get older, we never want them to leave.

  425. But there comes a time when they're appointed and there are

  426. many that are believing God that he's going to heal them when the

  427. reality is it's appointed. And they themselves are ready to

  428. go and they're allowing the symptoms to be the catalyst.

  429. OK. And I like what Prophet John

  430. Todd said. He said, look if you want to go

  431. on to be the Lord, get healed first and then just go, OK.

  432. But I'm going to be honest with you.

  433. There's most of are not going to do that.

  434. You can. Everyone in this room can

  435. because we know God. But I just want to, you know,

  436. even be more candid. Let's just believe for the the

  437. catching away. Let's just be changed.

  438. Amen. Let's go out that way.

  439. And man, I think we could. All right.

  440. My point is, is that a person in covenant does not receive from

  441. God without faith. So then if faith is required for

  442. God to be a part of our life, and anything he says he's going

  443. to do, did God say he's coming back?

  444. Why do we think just because we're born again that we can get

  445. something from God without faith?

  446. Let me read this passage before I make the next statement.

  447. Hebrews Chapter 11. This is the Champions of faith.

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  448. All right now, faith comes by what.

  449. Faith comes by what. Faith comes by what.

  450. And hearing from the word of Christ.

  451. Faith comes by hearing. So you can hear something, not

  452. God, and believe it. Faith just comes by hearing.

  453. Paul's letting us know your faith, your hearing should be

  454. connected to the word of Christ because that's what you should

  455. believe. Period.

  456. OK, Faith comes by hearing. So when we begin to read

  457. Ephesians Chapter 11, then when it says by faith it means they

  458. must have heard something. Verse 5.

  459. By faith, Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death.

  460. By what faith? Which means if Enoch's in faith,

  461. he must have heard something and God apparently said something to

  462. Enoch, he must have said something to him to say, well,

  463. you could just come now. Oh, OK.

  464. There was some conversation God had with Enoch that he believed

  465. it so much that he was taken up. Now, for me, I would conclude

  466. it's the big plan. It's the purpose.

  467. It's the purpose of Enoch. OK, And I'm not the only one who

  468. believes this. OK?

  469. I'm going to throw a name out just so you'll know that I'm not

  470. the only one who believes this. Perry Stone, who studies in

  471. times. He believes this as well.

  472. Not everyone believes this, but I think it's very difficult to

  473. not conclude it. There's only two people that

  474. have ever been on the planet that left the planet without

  475. physically leaving their bodies. There are two witnesses that

  476. will come back during the tribulation time.

  477. It is the E brothers, Enoch and Elijah.

  478. Then they will die in the street and everybody's going to see

  479. him. Hallelujah.

  480. But in three days they're going to get up and then they're going

  481. to watch him go up. So I I have to conclude the

  482. Lord's like Enoch. I got a plan and he must have

  483. conversed with him concerning this deal because Jude talks a

  484. little bit about Enoch and Enoch having some conversations about

  485. what was going to happen in the end.

  486. So Enoch obviously had a conversation with the Lord that

  487. Lord's like Enoch, I want to use you, I want to bring you back.

  488. In order to do that, I need you to come now.

  489. So by faith Enoch believed that he could go without dying, and

  490. he was not found because God took him.

  491. For he obtained the witness that before his being taken up, he

  492. was what? Pleasing to the Father?

  493. Well, if you're pleasing to the Father, then what are you?

  494. You're living by faith. The Father's pleased when you're

  495. by faith called the very next verse.

  496. We always read verse 6, but not in context of verse 5.

  497. And without faith it's what impossible to please him.

  498. For he who comes to God must believe that he is that's God is

  499. God, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

  500. So Enoch heard something from God.

  501. He had faith to be taken up. And if faith is required for us

  502. to receive salvation and faith is required for us to receive

  503. the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and faith is received for us to

  504. walk in perpetual healing, and faith is required for us to walk

  505. in joy and faith is required, then why do we think we get

  506. caught up without faith? Come on, come on, come on.

  507. Why have we accepted that we'll all hear the trumpet?

  508. Because there's many that are in covenant with God and love God,

  509. but die early because they don't judge themselves rightly.

  510. We have made the catching away of the church as if automatic.

  511. All that's required is that you're born again.

  512. Well, you know what all this required for you to be healed

  513. is? That you're born again.

  514. I mean to walk in it. For you to prosper is to be born

  515. again. For you to have, you know,

  516. fullness of joy is to walk in it.

  517. Right. All you got to do is believe

  518. God, believe to have wisdom. I got to just believe God.

  519. I mean, we have heaven on earth, right?

  520. What stops God from pouring out everything he has for us?

  521. Our faith. Hallelujah.

  522. Amen. OK, so let's back up a chapter

  523. in that Hebrews chapter 10, Hebrews chapter 10 to get us in

Hebrews 10 chapter mention Hebrews 10 chapter mention

  524. context. All right, he says this in

  525. Hebrews 10. Starting in verse 19.

  526. We're going to read a little bit, OK?

  527. But again, for us to dissect this cloudy with the chance of

  528. rain, then we have to get into Scripture.

  529. All right, I'm not here to do talking points based upon oral

  530. tradition. Therefore, brethren, since we

  531. have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of

  532. Jesus, by new and living way, which he inaugurated for us

  533. through the veil that is his flesh, and since we have a great

  534. high priest over the House of God, let us draw near with a

  535. sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts

  536. sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, and our bodies

  537. washed with pure water. Let us hold the confession of

  538. our hope without waving. For he who promised is man.

  539. He's faithful, full. And let us consider how to

  540. stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking

  541. our own assembling together, as is the habit of son, but

  542. encouraging one another. And all the more as you see the

  543. day drawing near, as you see the day.

  544. What day are we talking about? We're talking about the catching

  545. away of the church as you begin to see that day drawing near.

  546. And are we near? Are we the nearest people to it?

  547. I mean, has anyone been more near than us?

  548. No, We are the nearest at this juncture.

  549. OK. And so because we're the nearer,

  550. what should we do all the more? Assemble and encourage one

  551. another. Assemble and encourage one

  552. another. Assemble and encourage one

  553. another. And he literally says don't do.

  554. Like the habit of some. Now, who's he talking to?

  555. Plus 'cause if you go back to the very verse 19, it says

  556. therefore brethren. So he's not talking to lost

  557. people here, he's talking to people who are in covenant with

  558. God. They are children of God.

  559. They are in the new covenant, a new and better covenant.

  560. And he's telling them now listen, verse 23, that they are

  561. to hold fast, which tells us you can let go.

  562. That's right. They are to hold fast the

  563. confession of our hope. King James says the profession

  564. of our faith cause. A confession of hope or hope is

  565. a confident expectation. If you're speaking what you

  566. confidently expect, by all rights you're in faith, 'cause

  567. you're calling those things that be not as though they were.

  568. Are you hearing me, 'cause? He says he's faithful, who has

  569. promised right? And then he goes on and says,

  570. Now listen, as that day gets closer, you need to not forsake

  571. the assembling of yourselves together.

  572. I mean, everybody's like, I want Jesus to come back, yet they're

  573. not assembled. Hallelujah.

  574. I said Hallelujah, because most of them think it's going to come

  575. whether I believe it or not. James.

  576. OK, I'll do that. James says you believe God, you

  577. do well. But even the demons believe and

  578. shudder. So believing that you could be

  579. caught away isn't the same as having faith cause faith is a

  580. corresponding action. I said it's a corresponding

  581. action, which means there's something that you need to do.

  582. In fact, if you read James, he said, look, faith without works

  583. or a corresponding action is dead, period.

  584. Like the spirit, like the body is dead without the spirit, so

  585. is your faith. You can tell me all day long, I

  586. believe, I believe. But if your lifestyle is not a

  587. corresponding action, then by all rights it's a dead faith,

  588. which means you actually do have a hearing.

  589. But you're actually not mixing faith with it.

  590. And when you don't mix faith with it, it won't profit you.

  591. So hearing the word enough to hearing the word is not enough

  592. for you to be active in faith. All right, let's go on verse

  593. 262626, he says. For if we go on sinning

  594. willfully after receiving the knowledge of truth, there is no

  595. longer remains A sacrifice for sin, but a terrifying

  596. expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will

  597. consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the Law

  598. of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three

  599. witnesses. How much severe punishment do

  600. you think he will deserve, who has trampled under foot the Son

  601. of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the

  602. covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the

  603. Spirit of grace? For we know him who says

  604. vengeance is mine, I will repay, and again the Lord will judge

  605. his people. It is a terrifying thing to fall

  606. into the hands of the living God now.

  607. Verse 26 for if who? Who's he talking to?

  608. He's talking to covenant kids. He's not talking to the lost.

  609. This verse has nothing to do with the Lost, he says.

  610. If we go on, if we go on sinning willfully, after we've received

  611. the knowledge of the truth, we have revelation.

  612. We know what we're supposed to do and how we're supposed to

  613. act. It's been revealed to us by the

  614. Spirit, yet we're choosing to not put down the passions of the

  615. flesh. This is problematic.

  616. Now, when you read this, your first thought is that obviously

  617. because of verse 27, we always go to hell.

  618. But you know what? Hell is not just the fury of

  619. fire. If we go on and he says this

  620. again, 28 is a covenant statement.

  621. He who sets aside the law of Moses, which means they are

  622. under the law of Moses. They were constrained within

  623. that they're supposed to do, and if they disregard it, they'll

  624. die without mercy. Then he says, now it would be

  625. worse for us. Why?

  626. Because and those under the law of Moses are on the covenant,

  627. the old covenant, where God revealed to them how to live.

  628. And let me say, you could have lived under that law, righteous

  629. enough for redemption. It doesn't make you right with

  630. God, so that the blood's not necessary.

  631. But there were plenty who lived under it in faith that it it

  632. allowed them to go to Paradise or Abraham's Bosom once they

  633. left the planet. So how much more severe

  634. punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under

  635. the foot of Jesus? Meaning you're born again, you

  636. have the third person of the Godhead on the inside of you,

  637. and you're going to go on and willfully sin.

  638. And I love this because he goes on and says you're going to

  639. insult the spirit of grace. And then it interesting that

  640. Hebrews says that because Hebrew, the writer of Hebrew,

  641. knew that people would take the the doctrine of grace which and

  642. turned it to lasciviousness and what they would do is they would

  643. say, oh, you didn't do anything to deserve it.

  644. There's nothing you're doing to keep it when the reality is

  645. faith got you. The grace faith continues to

  646. move you forward. Obedience has always been in

  647. play and will never not be in play, because obedience is how

  648. we actually demonstrate we love God.

  649. And the thing about this is like you're insulting the spirit of

  650. grace, saying seriously, you're acting like you don't have

  651. dominion over sin, you're acting like you're subject to it.

  652. Still. This is why Romans says, shall

  653. we continue to sin So that grace may abound, may it never cause

  654. the grace that brought you into the Kingdom was transformed into

  655. the grace that Jesus had. And Jesus had an empowering

  656. grace which allowed him to avoid to overcome every temptation of

  657. sin so that he himself would no longer be subject or would not

  658. be subject to sin. But if someone goes on we act

  659. like that there's not a challenge.

  660. Cause verse 30 says God says vengeance is mine.

  661. I will repay the Lord will judge who whose people He's not

  662. talking about the world. So again, the Lord is always

  663. examining us in Christ. That's right.

  664. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  665. Now let me just make this statement real quick so we can

  666. get rid of this, you know, thought that people are

  667. struggling with even now. Nowhere am I saying that if you

  668. do not, if you're not in the catching away of the church,

  669. that that means if you're a covenant child and you were left

  670. behind, that by all rights, if you died in the tribulation,

  671. that you wouldn't be in heaven. I never said that, never said

  672. that. Obviously if you die in the

  673. tribulation, you're going to be up underneath the throne.

  674. A lot of people are going to die in the tribulation a lot, OK?

  675. They're going to be martyred. It's going to happen.

  676. OK. So I'm just saying again, a

  677. person can be in the planet today, as many of you have

  678. experienced, is that man, I'm born again.

  679. I'm filled with power. I walk in healing God's prosper

  680. me. Everything I touch prospers.

  681. I mean, we're just moving and going, yeah.

  682. Do I have trial? But, man, I'm at perfect peace.

  683. I'm at rest. I mean, God's moving in my life.

  684. It's just amazing. And then you go with him.

  685. Yeah. There's others that have already

  686. died before you. OK.

  687. That when they get before the Lord, the Lord's going to say

  688. you could have been healed, you could have prospered.

  689. They're going to realize there was so much I could have had

  690. that I didn't. It's not like the Lord's going

  691. to say, well, I didn't want you to have anything anyway.

  692. You really weren't my favorite child.

  693. You're really, you're just lucky I got you in.

  694. No, that that's not what he's saying.

  695. He's going to say, you know, at the all of this was available

  696. for you there, right? So again, it doesn't mean

  697. they're not going to heaven, but it does mean the quality of life

  698. here is severely different because of their their inability

  699. to believe their unbelief period.

  700. Could everyone of the Israelites gone into the promised land?

  701. Why did they now enter unbelief? Were they his covenant kids?

  702. So did God judge his people? You're you're my covenant kid.

  703. You just can't get in because unbelief, well, you can't do

  704. something contrary to God's word.

  705. And God say OK, don't worry about it.

  706. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.

  707. Are you hearing me? OK, let's go on verse 32.

  708. But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened,

  709. you endured a great conflict of suffering, partly by being made

  710. a public spectacle through the reproaches and tribulations, and

  711. partly becoming sharers with those who were so treated for

  712. you, showed sympathy to the prisoners, accepted joyfully the

  713. seizure of your property, knowing that you have for

  714. yourself a better possession and a lasting one.

  715. Therefore do not throw away, implies you can.

  716. Do not throw away your confidence, which has great

  717. reward, for you have need of endurance.

  718. Why? So that when you have done the

  719. will of God, you may receive what is promised for.

  720. Yet in a very little while he who is what coming will come and

  721. will not delay. He's coming, verse 2038 then.

  722. But my righteous ones shall live by faith, and if he shrinks

  723. back, my soul has no pleasure, he said.

  724. But we're not of those who shrink back to destruction, but

  725. to those who have faith, to the preserving of the soul.

  726. So in essence, he says now we gonna stay in faith so that when

  727. the day comes that's right, we're not the ones that are left

  728. behind, 'cause we don't shrink back, we don't turn back and go

  729. willfully sinning. We don't openly insult the

  730. spirit of grace. We don't live like the world and

  731. the world watch us live like them, and then we disappear.

  732. Well, how we lived was no different than how they lived,

  733. but we did. Ashley's in our heart and save

  734. us. Say Hallelujah.

  735. Amen. Mark chapter 13.

    Mark 13 chapter mention

  736. Mark chapter 13. But of that day.

    Mark 13 chapter mention

  737. Now what day we talking about? We talking about the day Jesus

  738. is coming. But on that day of that day or

  739. hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son

  740. but the Father alone. Take heed, keep on alert, for

  741. you do not know when the appointed time will come.

  742. It is like a man away on a journey, who, upon leaving his

  743. house and putting his slaves in charge of signing to each one

  744. his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on alert.

  745. Therefore, be on alert. For you do not know when the

  746. master of the house is coming, whether in the evening or at

  747. midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning, in

  748. case he should come suddenly and find you asleep.

  749. What I say to you, I say to all be on the alert.

  750. Now why in the world is Jesus Christ telling us to take heed

  751. and be on alert? If it's automatic, that when he

  752. comes we go, why is Jesus Christ ahead of the church instructing

  753. them? Now you're going to have to keep

  754. watch. You have to be on alert.

  755. Hallelujah. Amen.

  756. You got to be on alert. You got to take heed.

  757. Now notice it says. But in that day or hour, notice

  758. what it doesn't say. It doesn't say that year.

  759. It doesn't even say that month. In fact, the scriptures are more

  760. conclude more that we can know that it's imminent as opposed to

  761. I have no idea 'cause how can you take heed for something you

  762. don't know? OK, we'll go to others.

  763. This word is sleep in verse 36. And in case he would come

  764. suddenly and find you what? Asleep.

  765. This word of sleep comes from a Greek word that means this to

  766. yield to sloth or sin. It means to be indifferent to

  767. one's salvation. Oh my goodness is right.

  768. You know how many born again covenant people are indifferent

  769. to their salvation? Whether they come to church

  770. doesn't matter. Whether they read the Bible

  771. doesn't matter. I'm only going to converse with

  772. him when I'm in trouble anyway. And their whole thought process

  773. of God is in their way of processing God, not in his way

  774. of them to process God. They've created the image of God

  775. themselves using his scripture and he goes on said Now, in case

  776. he finds you suddenly asleep, meaning you are being slothful,

  777. you maybe, as Hebrew says, are going on willfully sinning.

  778. Let me say the Lord's not giving rewards to rebellion.

  779. I mean, you're going to have to prove you love him with all your

  780. soul, all your mind, all your heart, your heart, soul, mind.

  781. You got to you're going to prove that.

  782. And he's made it available for you to do that.

  783. But you have to prove it. And you prove it through obeying

  784. him, because that means you love him.

  785. You reckon I love you? I couldn't even do this without

  786. you. I I wouldn't be able to make

  787. these choices without you. I couldn't yield to the Spirit

  788. and resist the Devil if it wasn't for you.

  789. But I'm doing it. I'm the one doing it.

  790. And he's empowering me to do it, 'cause my new spirit can hear

  791. the Holy Ghost and I can resist the Devil.

  792. But if I'm not resisting and I'm just running in the world and

  793. saying, my gosh, I ask Jesus into my heart and save me, and I

  794. can live like the rest of the world, but I'm safe.

  795. I mean, the blood's been applied to me because it doesn't really

  796. matter what I do. It doesn't matter what you do

  797. now. Well, how in the world are you

  798. in a better position than the first Adam?

  799. Because the first Adam had no sin.

  800. He was perfection. And he ate fruit and died cut

  801. off from God. I know we have an advocate with

  802. a father, and I understand he's always interceding for us.

  803. What's he doing? Make the right choice.

  804. Do what I'm saying. Just follow me.

  805. Sure, he's doing that. But at the end of the day, he

  806. still ain't gonna make you. Now, you were rebellious for you

  807. knew him. Sure, your nature wasn't there.

  808. But you know, you can be rebellious after you know him.

  809. I mean, if that's not the case, then why do we have these altar

  810. calls where people rededicate their lives?

  811. And I was like, you know, I'm just not living.

  812. Why do you feel that way? Well, because you get convicted

  813. by the Holy Ghost, he says. What are you doing?

  814. Don't you know your lifestyle is condemning you right now because

  815. you're living like the world? You need to get right, bro.

  816. This ain't you. This ain't your nature.

  817. Need to get it together. Always trying to draw you.

  818. Always trying to draw you. Always trying to draw you.

  819. My gosh, he's so long-suffering and merciful.

  820. He's always full of compassion. But at the end of the day, you

  821. can go your own way. And he says I might show up and

  822. you'd be asleep. Is being asleep a problem?

  823. Oh, it's a problem. Go back to Luke, chapter 21.

    Luke 21 chapter mention

  824. Luke 21. Let's go to verse 34.

  825. Luke 2134 says this. Be on guard so that your hearts

  826. will not be weighed. Downward disputation.

  827. You know how it is. Thank you.

  828. And drunkenness and the worries of life.

  829. And that day, what day we talking about the return of the

  830. King where he's going to catch away.

  831. The church will not come on you suddenly like a now how in the

  832. world. Let me even finish reading.

  833. For it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the

  834. earth but keep on alert at all times, praying that you may have

  835. the strength to escape all these things that are about to take

  836. place and to stand before the Son of God.

  837. My gosh, I mean, he says be on guard.

  838. Why you got to be on guard if it's autumn.

  839. Dramatic deal. And here's number verse 36.

  840. He said to keep on alert at all times, praying that you may have

  841. strength to escape, which apparently you have a part of

  842. the exit strategy. You have a part to play.

  843. He tells you to guard your heart so that it's not weighed down.

  844. Why? That you're not drunk on the

  845. things of the world. You're intoxicated with the

  846. world's way of doing it. You're carried away by the cares

  847. of life. The thorns of life have pulled

  848. you in and choking the word out of you.

  849. You're in essence, you're unfruitful and not showing

  850. anything that demonstrates that you're the child of a king.

  851. And he says then that day can suddenly come upon you.

  852. Like a what? Not like a time of rejoicing,

  853. but like a trap. Like now.

  854. What's a trap? I'm caught.

  855. I'm caught. Hallelujah, aren't you glad

  856. Christmas tis the season to be jolly?

  857. I mean, this message is only weighty to those who are in

  858. trouble, but to those who are not, you're like, praise God.

  859. I know what I'm doing. I'm following God with all my

  860. heart, all my soul, all my mind, all my strength.

  861. I got him first in my life. I do what he says.

  862. I crucify the flesh. I'm following him.

  863. Thank you for letting me know. I'm a candidate for the day he

  864. come, 'cause I'm assembling, I'm encouraging.

  865. I'm staying with the word. Simple, Pretty simple.

  866. But if you want to go try it on your own, go ahead.

  867. Because I could be waving and singing this song to you as you

  868. go. Ba ba ba, this word escape in

  869. the Greek. Got to get y'all laughing

  870. somewhere. It's heavy in here.

  871. This word escape means to flee or to escape.

  872. Again, it comes from. The suffix of this word means

  873. or. The prefix of this word means

  874. out of or away from. And the suffix of this word

  875. means seek safety by flight to escape safely out of danger, to

  876. vanish. Everybody believes we're going

  877. to vanish. We're just talking about how,

  878. how, how that event actually looks.

  879. We are going to escape by literal flight.

  880. Can I get an Amen? So this word actually is talking

  881. about the catching away and he tells us put that back up there

  882. verse 36 that you have to pray that you have strength to get up

  883. out of here. Now why is this important?

  884. Because the Bible lets us know Jesus said.

  885. Now when I return, will I find faith in the earth?

  886. Because he says the love of many, and that's God's love.

  887. In the hearts of his covenant, kids will grow cold, which means

  888. they'll become indifferent to their salvation.

  889. They'll get caught up in the things of the world.

  890. They'll be more running after the things of the world, doing

  891. like the things of the world. And they've kind of got this

  892. little thought in their head that when the time comes,

  893. whether I'm in church or not in church, whether I'm reading the

  894. Bible or not read, whether I'm living perfect or not, I'm

  895. going. But they have no connection to

  896. the head at all, other than a former confession of faith.

  897. Now, I would love to be entirely wrong on this subject matter

  898. right now, because it'd be great if it just poof, we're all gone

  899. if you did it one time. But there's unfortunately too

  900. many scriptures that do not conclude or support that.

  901. And I'd be doing you a disservice if I'm saying, well,

  902. let's just hope it's the other when I have no support of

  903. scripture to say that when this scripture is literally telling

  904. me I got to be on guard. I got to make sure I don't let

  905. the cares of this life and the things going on in this world

  906. and the things that we trying to do to get ahead, you know, so we

  907. have this awesome life down here because that was the whole thing

  908. about the Hebrews, like these people, man.

  909. They had their seizure of their property.

  910. They were, they were not trying to make a life down here.

  911. They were staying connected. They just want to stay

  912. connected. They want to stay in faith.

  913. And it didn't matter what it cost them because they knew

  914. there's something better at the end of the day.

  915. So again, we can't we can't take on the things of the world.

  916. And again it says you got to keep on alert at how many times.

  917. That's why I come to church. Help keep you on alert.

  918. Encourage one another because you're seeing so much out there.

  919. To be easy for us to get mad, to get aggravated, I'm I must to

  920. get judgmental. I mean, the world's going to

  921. sin. And he said gross darkness is

  922. going to cover the earth. So the more you hear about it,

  923. like, my gosh, don't seem like nothing's working.

  924. You know what God's working. His word works.

  925. He's still delivering. He's still saving.

  926. It doesn't matter what the world's doing.

  927. God is still forgive him. He'll still save him.

  928. He'll still bring him into the Kingdom.

  929. No problem. Just live the Kingdom in front

  930. of them so they'll have a hope when they see you.

  931. Don't live like them under grace because you give them no hope.

  932. You're trying to sell them a God that doesn't exist.

  933. He don't care what you do, just ask him to forgive you.

  934. He does care. In fact, he cares so much.

  935. He's like, I'm going to have to pay the price so they can get

  936. out of this stuff, 'cause if he didn't care at all, then when we

  937. have the new heaven and new earth sinning in heaven wouldn't

  938. be a problem. OK, y'all, don't want to hear

  939. that. That's all right 'cause it's

  940. fantasy, thinking God is never well with disobedience, never

  941. will. OK, so with that being said,

  942. turn to Matthew, chapter seven. We doing all right?

  943. Let's move. We got to move a little quicker

  944. now. Matthew 721 to 23, it says.

  945. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord will enter the

  946. Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who

  947. is in heaven, will enter. Many will say to me on that day,

  948. what day? It's that day, the day of the

  949. catching away the Church. Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy

  950. on your name, and in your name cast out demons, and in your

  951. name perform miracles? And then I will declare to him I

  952. never knew you. Now we got a problem with this,

  953. because again we hear this word, never knew, and we already

  954. conclude as somebody not in the Kingdom.

  955. Depart from me, You who practice.

  956. There's the key with you who practice lawlessness.

  957. Now the word new here, I never knew.

  958. The word new comes from the Greek word which means to become

  959. acquainted with. Are you ready for this?

  960. To know is in this context, sexual intercourse between a man

  961. and a woman. In essence, he's saying I was

  962. never intimately acquainted with you.

  963. In essence, he's saying you received me as savior, were born

  964. again, and you got my name. You come into the marriage, you

  965. come down the aisle. Because let me tell you what

  966. Jesus is not doing, sleeping with you before you come down.

  967. So you get rid of that thought. You ain't never slept with Jesus

  968. before. Marriage ain't never happened.

  969. Jesus was not shaking up with you and getting it on with you

  970. before the wedding day. So when you came into the

  971. Kingdom, it's like you were getting married to Jesus, the

  972. head of the church, the bride of Christ.

  973. You said I do. Jesus, I love you.

  974. I want you to be my man. And then when the honeymoon

  975. came, you didn't show up. You have his legal name and all

  976. that goes with his name, but she never consummated the marriage.

  977. You never became one with him, and you went around in his name

  978. that you got a legal right to 'cause you were born again in

  979. Christ. This is why they're going to

  980. prophecy on his name. They're going to cast out devils

  981. in his name. They're going to perform

  982. miracles in his name. And he's going to say, I was

  983. never intimately acquainted with you.

  984. We never consummated this thing. Oh, you've seen them.

  985. They've come down to church. They got born again.

  986. Never see them again. Never, never come to a church

  987. again. Yet they'll say, Oh yeah, I'm

  988. born again. And they'll pray to him, and

  989. they'll invoke his name. And God out of his mercy will

  990. say I love you. I mean, he'll still give to you.

  991. So you're my. Come on.

  992. Come, come. Come to the bed, man.

  993. Get here. Let's get this thing.

  994. Let's get together. Let's become one here.

  995. Quit just using my name. And you were using my name for

  996. your own self. And then you want to come up out

  997. of what's happening. And you live like the rest.

  998. Matthew 24, verse 36. Are y'all all right?

    Matthew 24:36

  999. OK, he said. But the but on but of that day,

1000. say that day an hour no one knows, not even the angels of

1001. heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

1002. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of

1003. Noah. For as in those days before the

1004. flood they were eating and drinking and marrying and giving

1005. in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they

1006. did not understand until the flood came and took them all

1007. away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

1008. Then there will be two men in the field, One will be taken,

1009. and 1:00 will be left. Two women will be grinding at

1010. the mill. One will be taken, one will be

  1011. left. Therefore, be on.

1012. Be on alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

1013. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known what

1014. time of night the thief was was coming, he would have been on

1015. the alert and would not have allowed his house house to be

1016. broken in. For this reason you also must be

1017. ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do

1018. not think he will. Whoever then is the faithful and

1019. sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household

1020. to give them their food at the proper time, blessed is that

1021. slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.

1022. Truly, I say to you that he will put him in charge of all of his

1023. possessions. But if that evil slave says in

1024. his heart, my master's not coming for a long time, my

1025. master is not coming for a long time, and begins to beat his

1026. fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards, the master of

1027. that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him in

1028. an hour which he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and

1029. assign him a place with hypocrites in that place where

1030. there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1031. Shadaba Satah, are you hearing me?

1032. So he says, listen, the day's coming and hours coming, Nobody

1033. knows. The angels don't know.

1034. The Son don't know, but the father knows.

  1035. Again, it's not a year. It's not a month.

1036. We can get this thing pretty tight, he said.

1037. But this day is going to be like Noah.

1038. And in Noah, everybody's going to be running around doing their

1039. own thing. The world's going to be going,

1040. They're going to not want anything to do with God.

1041. And if you don't watch up, you can get caught up with it.

1042. I didn't use Noah as a catching away type, but Noah is

1043. considered a catching away type because Noah never actually

1044. leaves playing Earth. He's just caught up.

1045. Aren't you glad he was in the boat that day?

1046. Because he didn't know when the father was going to shut the

1047. door. Oh y'all, don't want to hear

1048. this, cousin. Father shuts the door on the

1049. ark. Well, there's another door that

1050. gets shut. It's with the 10 virgins.

1051. But I don't have time to preach on the 10 virgins today.

1052. I'm sorry. My point is, is that he's

1053. saying, look, don't you get caught up in everything going on

1054. in the world, because if you don't watch out, he's going to

1055. show up and you are not going to be ready for this.

1056. Now again, we conclude that two are in a place, one's gone,

  1057. one's left. We automatically assume it's

1058. only people who are lost that are staying back.

1059. Yet the Scripture lets us know that if you are behaving in a

1060. way that is not in in keeping with the covenant of God, you

1061. are at risk. That's right, of not escaping.

1062. Now again you if you get stuck in a tribulation and make sure

1063. that you never take the mark and maintain a confession of faith

1064. in Jesus, you're gonna go to heaven.

1065. But you're living in a time frame you were not supposed to

1066. be in. And again, you say, I can't

1067. believe this. I mean, that's why you got to

1068. read the Bible. God is not schizophrenic.

1069. Scott did. God did not do something in the

1070. Old Covenant. He's not doing a new covenant.

  1071. I mean, his character's the same.

1072. So you understand he had covenant kids in the Old

1073. Covenant that his wrath showed up on, 'cause his wrath showed

1074. up for the purpose of them to repent.

1075. But it didn't come to the ones that were in righteousness.

1076. He protected them. Same thing in the New Covenant.

1077. If you're gonna and how much more severe, 'cause we're alive

1078. to God, we have the Holy Ghost in us, and then we're gonna mock

1079. God and live like the rest of the world and expect that Trump

1080. is going to blow and we're going to blow out of here with having

1081. no thought process about it, he says.

1082. You got to be on alert and he tells us he says we don't know

1083. they are, but notice he concludes in this he said, Now

1084. listen, if you know and he says now listen, you got to be ready.

1085. Because if he says if you knew when the thief was coming, then

1086. you would not let him be broken in.

1087. So he's concluding. You don't know the day or hour,

1088. but you can know he's coming and be ready and you're not going to

1089. be taken like a trap. And then he goes on and gives a

1090. clear example which reinforces love.

1091. The master has his servants and he entrusts them.

1092. And if we were to jump over to Matthew 25 and I don't have time

1093. to go there today, I'm going to conclude here.

1094. OK, Then in Matthew 25 he goes on and says to them, I give

1095. 151211 and he goes away. Is Jesus not with us today?

1096. Where's Jesus at? He's seated in heavenly places.

1097. Is he coming back? Yeah.

1098. And when he comes back, we got to give an account.

1099. That's what the Bible says. Said we give an account.

1100. And so when he comes back, he wants to find us, so doing.

1101. And when he comes back to the one he finds him doing, guess

  1102. what? He rejoices.

1103. And he says to him, I give you all these possessions for you to

1104. be in charge of. In essence, the catching away of

1105. the church is where God goes through the resume of our life

1106. and say, because you were faithful, obey here and faithful

1107. here. And you didn't compromise here

1108. and you didn't do this, When we go back to this planet, you're

1109. going to have this territory and that territory.

1110. And I have this assignment for you and this assignment for you.

1111. And that's what you're going to do next.

1112. But the one when he shows back is not doing it.

1113. In fact, what are they doing? They are being slothful.

1114. He calls them evil. And we think, well, that means

1115. they're cut off. No, their master is the Lord.

1116. They're evil because all covenant kids that don't obey

1117. God, that's an evil action. The minute you don't obey God,

1118. that's evil. So if he says in the heart my

1119. master's not coming for a long time begins to beat his fellow

  1120. slaves. That's why we've been talking

1121. about unity. You think you can talk about the

1122. body of Christ like this, and God's all right with that?

1123. You think you can beat down the body of Christ.

1124. You can talk bad about one another.

1125. You can have offences towards one another.

1126. You cannot walk in forgiveness and love.

1127. You think that you can pretend that you are not doing the same

1128. thing. And we don't understand that you

1129. ain't really repented yet, that you're masquerading.

1130. Are you hearing me? He goes on to say.

1131. And then they're going to eat and drink with drunkards,

1132. meaning they're intoxicated with the world, he said.

1133. When he comes back, he said. And then this verse 51 is really

1134. important. He says he'll cut him in pieces,

1135. assign him a place with the hypocrites.

1136. There's only one group of people Jesus called hypocrites.

1137. Let me tell you, they were not. They were not the lost.

1138. He never called the lost hypocrites.

1139. Now what do I mean by that? I understand in his time frame

1140. nobody was born again. I get that.

1141. What I'm saying is, is that who he called hypocrites were the

1142. ones who had an anointing to be able to understand the word of

1143. God. It was the Pharisees and

1144. scribes. It was the priesthood.

1145. He called them hypocrites because they knew how to live

1146. different but chose not to. In essence, he is saying we can

1147. say a hypocrite is this one who follows God on their own terms

1148. and not on God's terms. And these priests are covenant.

1149. These priests have been come down from the line of Aaron.

1150. Are you hearing me? There's an anointing.

1151. I mean, the high priest who who authorized the killing of Jesus

1152. spoke under the anointing, He said.

1153. You're a hypocrite. Weeping and gnashing of teeth is

1154. not just hell. The tribulation will be weeping

1155. and gnashing of teeth. What if he finds you not doing?

1156. Does she look like the rest of the world?

1157. Then he'll let you have the wrath that the world's having in

1158. order for you to repent. He didn't have to get left

1159. behind. It doesn't mean you won't go to

1160. heaven, doesn't mean that. It just means you don't get to

1161. leave, because the leaving that's catching away is for the

1162. faithful. He's coming back for the church.

1163. That's without spot or wrinkle. Those who are doing and it's and

1164. it and this is not. Well, that's not fair.

1165. How is it not fair? Every one of us that got born

1166. again have the Holy Ghost living in US.

1167. Every one of us that got born again became a new nature in

1168. Christ. We actually have the nature of

1169. the King. We are without excuse.

1170. We have the written word that transforms our mind.

1171. We are without excuse. We are in a time frame that

1172. God's like, are you serious right now?

1173. And let me tell you God has shown this throughout his pages.

1174. Moses going to have this face to face encounter with God and then

1175. disobey God by hitting a rock twice and God's like it doesn't

1176. matter. I'm gonna let you take them in

1177. any way. I forgive you.

1178. And did Moses ask for forgiveness?

1179. He did. He said, Lord, I'm sorry I did

  1180. that. I didn't mean it.

1181. I didn't mean. And he talked to God all the

1182. time about that. And finally the Lord said, look

1183. out there, son. And he looked at he said, that's

1184. the promise saying, he said, now listen, I have forgiven you for

1185. disobeying, but it has stopped you from getting in, period.

1186. You can't be this close to me and dishonor me like that and

1187. think you're going to be able to finish your course, he said.

1188. Don't talk to me again about it. And God was a forgiving God.

1189. No. When we have the fear of the

1190. Lord then we'll do something great.

1191. I'll close with these two scriptures because I'm

1192. seriously. I just have to say these

1193. scriptures try to leave you on a high note.

1194. Romans 6/6. I can conclude it like this,

1195. knowing that our old self was crucified with him in order that

1196. the our body of sin might be done away with so that we would

1197. no longer be slaves to sin. Galatians 220 Is this.

1198. This is it right here. Galatians 220 I've been

1199. crucified with Christ. How can you be confident?

1200. How do you be confident that you know what I'm gonna hear?

  1201. The trumpet. I'm ready.

1202. I'm ready. I've been crucified with Christ.

1203. In him. I have shared His crucifixion.

1204. It is no longer I who live, but Christ.

1205. The Messiah lives in me and the life I now live in the body.

1206. I live by faith, by adherence to and reliance on and complete

1207. trust in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for

1208. me. In fact, Bible tells us in

1209. Galatians 5 that our spirit and our flesh battle.

1210. And you know who's getting caught up?

1211. It's those who crucify the flesh, who walk by the Spirit,

1212. who are led by the Spirit, who do the word of God that he will

1213. come back and give them their reward.

1214. Because we know God is a rewarder of those who diligently

1215. seek Him. But for those who will not

1216. crucify the flesh, who will not allow the spirit that's in them

1217. that can dominate their flesh now in the spirit realm to

1218. dominate that God say, why don't you just stay on the planet and

1219. prove? To me that you will submit to

1220. me, 'cause when I gave you the power to do it in the realm of

  1221. the spirit, You wouldn't. You wouldn't.

1222. So now you're gonna have to prove it, 'cause I couldn't tell

1223. by your walk. You love me?

1224. Hallelujah. You're not working out your

1225. salvation, but you are working out your exit strategy.

1226. You're determining when you're going because if you want to be

1227. born again and live like the world, God is not a man that he

1228. should lie. And he's not mocked because

  1229. whatever a man soweth, that's what he'll read.

1230. And for us that are born again, Dad's like, really?

1231. I did that and you still can't obey me.

1232. You still are indifferent with the salvation that I've given

1233. you. You still want to try to

1234. convince me of how you're living.

1235. I'm supposed to accept. You're telling me it's OK to

1236. keep drinking. You're telling me it's OK to

1237. keep cussing? You're telling me it's OK 'cause

1238. yeah, when you were doing it, that's what you were doing.

1239. And I paid the price, so you don't have to do that no more.

1240. And you're going to act like you can do.

1241. And I'm supposed to just be OK? I'm not OK.

1242. That's why the Holy Ghost keeps talking to you.

1243. And when you renew your mind, you can't conquer everything.
