  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Let's start in Ephesians chapter

    Ephesians 6:11

  4. 6, verse 11. Tonight, Ephesians 611, and

  5. we're going to read 11:00 and 12:00.

  6. And it says this, it says, but put on the full armor of God, so

  7. that you'll be able to stand firm against the schemes of the

  8. devil for our struggles not against flesh and blood, but

  9. against rulers, against powers, against war, forces of darkness,

  10. against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.

  11. God gave me this context, and we're going to discover it even

  12. now, because I believe there's more that he wants to mine out

  13. that I haven't even mined yet. And we're going to even get more

  14. tonight as we minister. But I went.

  15. To the to the state today Capitol.

  16. And once again had the opportunity.

  17. Today was their first session divided.

  18. So they just opened session yesterday.

  19. Everyone was together in the House because the House is

  20. bigger. And Governor Ron DeSantis flew

  21. in and he addressed all of them. And then today they're starting

  22. their sessions, the Senate and the House.

  23. And so the lady who is The Who takes care of the chaplain of

  24. the day, she says this, you're my first one.

  25. I said, well, I'll be your best one and everybody else you'll

  26. judge after me. And so you know, she goes, well,

  27. do we go in here? I said, well, the last time I

  28. was here, we went this way. I'm glad that you've done this

  29. before. I said, I am too.

  30. And I'm glad I understand some protocol because I don't want to

  31. get up in here and look stupid. And so anyway, with that being

  32. said, we came in, we had a good conversation, you know.

  33. And again, this is all for 60 seconds.

  34. I added a paragraph so I get a little bit more because when I

  35. pray in the at the government, you need to understand this.

  36. It is a sermon, OK? I pray scripture and we leave

  37. things because I know the Holy Ghost causes things to come to

  38. their remembrance. How many of you have

  39. photographic memory? Anyone at all have photographic

  40. memory that you hear it once you can keep it.

  41. OK, great. Not everybody has that, but you

  42. know the Holy Ghost does. And so even if the human being.

  43. Doesn't the Holy Ghost does. So when I did that prayer, it is

  44. forever able to be recalled to the memory of every senator and

  45. aid that was in the room and anyone else watching on TV.

  46. Everyone. So the words is it worth driving

  47. 6 hours to to deliver 60 seconds of scripture?

  48. You. Bet it is.

  49. You bet it is. Right now my tradition is, is

  50. then I hang out because, you know, I don't technically like

  51. to pray and leave. But in this circumstance,

  52. because I got called within 24 hours, I said, you know, today.

  53. I'm going to have to go back so I won't be able to stay.

  54. I obviously saw our representative, Senator Travis

  55. Hudson, got this talk with him. He came to me, We chit chatted a

  56. little bit. I thanked him for calling me up

  57. off the bench. Because I answered the call, it

  58. allowed him to be the sponsor of the day again and so I hope to

  59. give him plenty of exercise for a little bit, right?

  60. With that being said, again, I'm going back January 29th to meet

  61. with the legislators, so I'm not surprised I got the call because

  62. the next because. I'm going at the end of the

  63. month to meet with the legislators.

  64. A meeting's been set up for us to do this.

  65. The Holy Ghost now can recall you were just here.

  66. Say Amen. Why is this important?

  67. Because God's called us to impact the nation.

  68. But here's the thing. Our battle, our struggle once as

  69. we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers,

  70. against powers, against world forces and darkness, against

  71. spiritual forces and wickedness in heavenly places.

  72. Spiritual realms come through government.

  73. They take territory through government, because government

  74. is God's legal way of power, you say?

  75. How is that? Because he's a Kingdom and the

  76. enemy? Through seducing spirits and

  77. doctrines of demons has been able to sway the US Church based

  78. upon a letter written from Thomas Jefferson to a clergyman

  79. concerning them writing the Declaration of Independence.

  80. Of a statement called the separation of Church and State.

  81. That we have created the idea of Church to be so separated from

  82. government, or that it has no context of government, that

  83. we've given free reign for the enemy to set up principalities

  84. because we're the church here. The government?

  85. No, the church is government because the church is the

  86. Kingdom of God. All we have to do is go to

  87. Isaiah, Chapter 9. Y'all know it well here, verse

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

  88. six, right? A child will be born, a son will

  89. be given, and the the government is going to rest on his

  90. shoulders. Who are the ambassadors of that

  91. government or to that government?

  92. We are so again if we are not engaging in areas.

  93. But again, my battles not with the Republicans, my battles not

  94. with the Independent, my battles not with the Green Party, my

  95. battles not with the Democrats. Are you hearing me?

  96. My battles? Not with that.

  97. My battles with principalities and powers and I want to show

  98. you tonight how we are to navigate because again, our

  99. teaching this year, and we're going to talk about it more on

  100. Sunday. God said that this is our year

  101. of the reigning spirit. We're going to understand the

  102. realm of the spirit, and these teachings cannot be exclusive to

  103. Sunday. There's too much to cover for it

  104. to be exclusive. And I'm not running a series per

  105. SE, but I'm just saying they're going to become so intertwined,

  106. you may get back at the end of 2024 and say we had one long

  107. sermon in one sense, OK? And so here, verse 11 tells us

  108. that if we're putting on this full armor of God, it gives us

  109. capacity to be able to stand firm against.

  110. What the schemes of the devil? Because he goes on and says

  111. this. These struggles are not human

  112. beings. It comes from this ruler of

  113. darkness that has rulers, powers, world forces and

  114. darkness and spiritual forces and Wiccan in heavenly places.

  115. The enemy has an order. He is not chaos.

  116. The devil is not chaotic. He's methodical, He's planned.

  117. He actually is extremely patient because in essence, the word

  118. devil, which is more of his description, not his name.

  119. It is like taking, you know, a water.

  120. They used to do this in torture and they would put a person

  121. down. They would let it just drip,

  122. drip slowly drip, just keep dripping right till it just

  123. drives him crazy. Well, what he does with thoughts

  124. is he keeps sending it. In essence, he keeps pounding

  125. the thought, pound the thought, pound the thought till it can

  126. penetrate. You.

  127. And he'll just keep sending them.

  128. The good news is if you have on the full armor of God, you have

  129. a helmet that is should go ping ping.

  130. And when I say ping, it's it's not because you're not thinking

  131. ping. Second Corinthians tells us that

  132. we are to take every thought captive.

  133. OK, but I want us to look from a perspective with Jesus, because

  134. Jesus did something really awesome, and because he did

  135. something really awesome, he's letting us know you don't do

  136. what I did. In this context, it looks

  137. different. Let me tell you when I say that.

  138. Because you say, well, Jesus said the worst that I do, even

  139. we will do in greater works. Well, are we going to go and die

  140. on a cross for the sins of humanity?

  141. Obviously we're not. So are we going to be able to do

  142. that work? Nope.

  143. There's another work Jesus did that you're not doing, so you

  144. shouldn't use his tactic. Everything Jesus did is not for

  145. us to do because there were things He did, because it was

  146. his assignment, Because you may die for the sake of Christ, you

  147. may shed blood for the sake of Christ, but your shedding of

  148. blood does not literally save someone's life from eternal

  149. damnation. It may save their life in the

  150. natural, it may give them longevity in the earth.

  151. It may even because of that action cause them to accept

  152. Jesus as Lord. But it's the blood of Christ

  153. that saves them, not the blood you shed for them.

  154. Are you hearing what I'm saying? OK, so then let's turn over to

  155. Luke chapter 4 and Luke chapter 4.

Luke 4 chapter mention Luke 4 chapter mention

  156. We'll start in verse one. OK?

  157. I want us to read this context, so I'm just going to read the

  158. 1st 11, So we'll have it. OK, It says it's.

  159. Jesus, full of the Holy Ghost, returned from the Jordan and was

  160. led around by the Spirit in the wilderness for 40 days, being

  161. tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those

  162. days. And when it had ended he became

  163. hungry. And the devil said to him, If

  164. you are the Son of God, tell the stones to become bread.

  165. And Jesus answer it is written, Man shall not live on bread

  166. alone. And he led him up to show him.

  167. All the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time the devil said

  168. to him, I I will give you all this domain and its glory, for

  169. it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I

  170. wish. Therefore if you worship before

  171. me, it shall be yours. In Jesus answer it is written,

  172. You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.

  173. And then And he led him to Jerusalem, and had him stand on

  174. the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, If you are the Son

  175. of God, throw yourself down, for it is written.

  176. So I'm going to use Scripture. Now says the devil, he will

  177. command, and his angels concerning you to guard you, and

  178. on their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not

  179. strike your foot against the stone.

  180. He goes on and says to him, You shall not tempt the Lord your

  181. God, right? And it says the devil left him

  182. right and look for what a more opportune time?

  183. Now, so there's obviously a couple more verses than I that I

  184. quoted here, but, you know, in that context.

  185. So the first thing we need to recognize is that Jesus never

  186. encountered the devil. Empty.

  187. OK, I'm going to say that again. Jesus never encountered the

  188. devil. Empty.

  189. So first and foremost, if you are born again, born of God, and

  190. the Holy Ghost is in you that bear to bear witness with your

  191. spirit, you are child of God. That doesn't mean you're full,

  192. because Jesus was perfect, meaning his spirit was right

  193. with God. But the Holy Ghost came upon him

  194. and gave him power. So he he did not even go to the

  195. devil till after John baptized him, the heavens opened up, the

  196. Holy Ghost came upon him. He was then endued with power,

  197. and when he was full of the Holy Ghost, 'cause, he could hear the

  198. Holy Ghost. Prior to that, the Holy Ghost

  199. was already teaching him Scripture.

  200. He was mind blowing to the scribes when he was teaching at

  201. 13 years old in the temple. But when it came to power, he

  202. did not go until after the Holy Ghost came upon him.

  203. And when it did, he was full of the Holy Spirit being LED into

  204. the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

  205. And the Bible tells us he was tempted on all accounts.

  206. Jesus was tempted on all accounts.

  207. You were never to be tempted on all accounts.

  208. It's not your assignment to go get tempted on all accounts.

  209. Jesus did it. Any temptation out there Jesus

  210. faced. You don't have to face every

  211. temptation, though you will face some.

  212. You're going to face some, OK? He faced them all.

  213. Now when he faced them, he faced them in fasting because he

  214. didn't eat. Said he ate nothing in those

  215. days. Now he didn't realize he was

  216. hungry until it was done. Which means he was so full of

  217. the Holy Ghost that even though the devil tempted him with food,

  218. he was able to always respond. How it is it is written?

  219. Are you hearing me? Obviously in this account we see

  220. the 2nd temptation is the big prize anyway because Jesus is

  221. coming to do what was mentioned in Genesis chapter 3.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  222. In Genesis chapter 3 is the fall of man.

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

  223. And what did man fall from? He did not fall from heaven.

  224. He fell from dominion. Because man was not created in

  225. heaven or for heaven. He was created to rule in this

  226. realm under God. God said let us make man in our

  227. image according to our likeness, right?

  228. Genesis 126. And let him have rule or

  229. dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, over

  230. all the cattle, over everything. In essence, you're the king of

  231. the kingdoms of the world. The way the world functions, its

  232. system, you are to do it underneath my spirit, leading

  233. from my realm in heaven, your realms on earth.

  234. And we will converse, we will have relationship.

  235. Our two areas are exact because you're in my image and you're

  236. functioning, functioning in it as I do here.

  237. And as long as man would have done that, we would have no

  238. issue, right? And so he needs to know that man

  239. loves him. So he says, listen, you can eat

  240. from any tree of the garden, but of the tree, of the knowledge of

  241. good and evil, you shall not eat.

  242. For that you eat, you will die. So if Adam had never eaten the

  243. fruit, where would he be today? Right here.

  244. He would not be going to heaven. Now let me just pause because we

  245. have guests. I'm not saying that when you

  246. die, you don't go to heaven, you just stand the earth.

  247. That's not true. To be absent from the body is to

  248. be what? Present with the Lord.

  249. Where is Jesus presently? He's in heaven.

  250. He is. Is he staying there?

  251. He is not. If you read the Bible he

  252. actually shows back up on the planet.

  253. We have a 1000 year millennial reign with Christ of which he

  254. does not exit. We do get a new heaven and a new

  255. earth. OK, so but Adam does eat the

  256. fruit. And Luke tells us when he says,

  257. look at all these kingdoms, look how this place is functioning.

  258. Because this is what you're after, right?

  259. And look, I'll just give it to you.

  260. All you got to do is bow down, bow your knee to me.

  261. Just submit. I I'm the ruler of this.

  262. It's been handed over to me. Who do you get it from?

  263. Adam. So once again, God, because he

  264. gave man rulership, cannot take it as God.

  265. That's right. This is why God has to send his

  266. seed through the woman in Genesis 315.

  267. When he talks to the serpent, what he called him, He's called

  268. him the serpent because obviously the scriptures

  269. references that. He said he went to the serpent.

  270. He says what have you done? He said he.

  271. Well, I didn't say what you've done, he said to him, he said

  272. that you're cursed, you know, and then he goes and he said I'm

  273. bringing my seed through the woman.

  274. You're going to bruise his heel, but he's going to crush your

  275. head. And we know the Bible says Jesus

  276. came to destroy the works of the devil.

  277. What is the devil's work? Rebellion to God's word.

  278. It's a hatred for the things of God.

  279. It's disobedience. And he is.

  280. Crushing it so that you don't have to disobey or rebel ever

  281. again. Are you here?

  282. And that good news. That's good news.

  283. So Jesus is on assignment to do something.

  284. Now Jesus's assignment requires him to die.

  285. It's a requirement and he tell if he he communicates.

  286. This. He says I'm going to die, but on

  287. the third day I'm going to die, but on the third day.

  288. Now why does Jesus have to die? Because Romans tells us that the

  289. wages of sin, Romans 623, that the wages of sin is so when Adam

  290. transgressed through one man's transgression, sin enter the

  291. world. Sin must be paid.

  292. God's the only one who can pay it, because silver and gold

  293. can't do it. Your bulls and your sheep can't

  294. do it. Sacrifices aren't going to work.

  295. Natural ones. There's only one way that this

  296. can be eradicated, paid in full, once and for all.

  297. And that is the precious blood of Jesus.

  298. That's why Jesus told them in Matthew 16.

  299. He said, you know who do people say that I am?

  300. You're this prophet. Who do you say they am?

  301. You're the Christ. You're blessed, Peter.

  302. You know, because the Father, not flesh and blood, not

  303. revealed this, but my Father in heaven, he goes, now listen, I'm

  304. going to die at the hands of the Pharisees and scribe.

  305. But on the third day I'm going to raise up.

  306. Peter doesn't listen to the latter part.

  307. He only hears he's going to die. He pulls him to the side and he

  308. says, Jesus, may it never be. You're not going to die.

  309. And Jesus says, what? Get thee behind me, Satan, for

  310. you've set your mind on the interest of man.

  311. You're letting your emotions about me control your actions.

  312. And here this is the problem. When you try to define Jesus for

  313. you, then you try to make Jesus conform to your emotions about

  314. situations. But Jesus is not going to

  315. conform to your emotions. He's only going to stay with the

  316. plan. He says You set your interest on

  317. the mind of man instead of the mind of God.

  318. In essence, I'm not going to go here.

  319. In fact he was so purposeful that when his disciples are

  320. leaving because he preaches A sermon about drinking blood and

  321. eating flesh. OK, not you know as a type in

  322. shadow they they are blown away by that leaf he turns.

  323. His own disciples have been traveling with him seeing all

  324. the miracle signs and wants to say you going to go to.

  325. So at the end of the day what I'm doing is not stopping.

  326. He even tells Peter You going to deny me three times but I'm

  327. going. Are you hearing me now?

  328. We have to. Then you have to understand

  329. Jesus is required by his by a plan to have to do something.

  330. He goes to the devil. In essence, Jesus is letting him

  331. know I'm here, I'm here. But notice the devil did not

  332. destroy you. Ain't that interesting?

  333. The devil didn't say I'm a you're you're problematic.

  334. I'm going to have to kill you right now because.

  335. Although our battles with the spirit realm, we're not

  336. physically fighting the spirit realm, and Jesus can't win the

  337. battle strictly in the spirit for the earth 'cause if he

  338. could, why does he have to be a man?

  339. So Jesus goes and picks a fight. Because here's the thing, this

  340. is crazy thought, but it's truth.

  341. Jesus needs the devil to kill him.

  342. So I'm gonna have to go after some people because those

  343. people, the spirits, function through.

  344. Amen. That's.

  345. Good. Now it wasn't Caesar.

  346. Matthew 23 One through three it says this Jesus spoke to the

  347. crowds and said to his disciples, saying, the scribes

  348. and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of

  349. Moses. Therefore, all that they tell

  350. you do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for

  351. they say things they do not and do not do them.

  352. I never heard Jesus one time speak bad about a Roman soldier.

  353. I never. I can find nowhere in the four

  354. pages of the gospel that Jesus had words of that would seem

  355. attacking to anyone except in one sense except the

  356. Syrophoenician. Woman that would seem attacking

  357. when he says, you know, heating is the the bread of, you know,

  358. God's children, he said you don't throw it to the dogs.

  359. And she says even the dogs eat from the crumbs from the

  360. master's table and he says your daughter is, well, that was a

  361. good answer, right? That's pretty amazing.

  362. But outside of that, he's not running down sinners.

  363. He's not even. And and when I say Sinner, we're

  364. talking Jewish people because he was there for the Jews, He

  365. wasn't there for the Gentiles, although ultimately he's there

  366. for the Gentiles. But he's not dealing with the

  367. Gentiles. He's not here for the House of

  368. Israel, OK, Because how they going to respond to me is how is

  369. going to open the door for us, OK.

  370. But at the end of the day, I have to die.

  371. Now here's the problem. Jesus has.

  372. I can't because I don't have any sin and the wages of sin is and

  373. he never sinned. So in essence he's like the

  374. first Adam that if he never had eaten the fruit he'd still be

  375. alive today and we would go see. So Jesus is in the same

  376. condition and in order for the fulfillment of prophecy, he

  377. needs a group of people who are willing to function in cahoots

  378. with principalities and powers to the point of violence.

  379. And it is religious sinners. Now I say sinners because

  380. they're all cut off, but you understand Pharisees and scribes

  381. actually had a contest called They were priests.

  382. The context of having an anointing, these are covenant

  383. people. But these are covenant people

  384. that like the tradition of how they interpret the word.

  385. Then how God does it? Although they have access to

  386. rightly divide, and because they have access to rightly divide,

  387. but willfully refuse it. Because they love the powers of

  388. the world and they want how the principalities and powers

  389. function with the Gentiles. That they compromise their

  390. responsibility, that they should be training Israel the right

  391. things of God through the Law of Moses, but instead are like the

  392. government that has principalities and powers in

  393. Rome, that are taking from people, abusing people,

  394. manipulating people, taking advantage.

  395. And they've pulled it into their religion.

  396. And these are the ones Jesus goes after.

  397. He goes on the same chapters, jump down to verse 13.

  398. He makes this statement, he says.

  399. But woe to you scribes, Pharisees, hypocrites, because

  400. you shut off the Kingdom of heaven from people.

  401. For you do not enter in yourself, nor do you allow those

  402. who are entering in. Notice what he says, that he

  403. calls them hypocrites. I mean, this is really attacking

  404. speech. Two people who have placed

  405. themselves in their nation in a seat of power.

  406. These people have access not only to their own government,

  407. King Herod, but they have access to Caesar Rome.

  408. They are working all of the governments that are being

  409. influenced through principalities and powers.

  410. If we go on and and I I'm not going to read them all, but in

  411. verse 14 of this chapter, verse 15 of this chapter, verse 23 of

  412. this chapter, verse 27 of this chapter, verse 29 of this

  413. chapter, all of these verses say this.

  414. But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites.

  415. He's like on a rant and they're in the building.

  416. I mean, he's not mincing words. He's calling them what they are.

  417. They're fake news in a modern vernacular.

  418. Are you hearing me? Now?

  419. I'm not saying that to say people who say that are like,

  420. Jesus, 'cause that's not true. I'm just using a modern

  421. vernacular, OK? If you go on, then he ends up

  422. getting really specific. In the 33rd verse in Matthew

  423. 2333, it says this usurpants you brood of Vipers, how will you

  424. escape? The sentence of Hell Woo.

  425. Tell me about just making somebody mad.

  426. He's picking. I mean, he's asking I dare you

  427. to kill me, 'cause Jesus knows who he is.

  428. But he understand Jesus is a fighter, unlike all fighters,

  429. because he fights according to the rules that which is laid

  430. out. He's following what he knows

  431. about him from the Law and the Prophets.

  432. He knows who he is and he knows his assignment.

  433. I'm going to have to lay down my life for the.

  434. World. But I can't do it in and of

  435. myself. I'm going to need those that are

  436. in the principalities and powers that have real power 'cause it's

  437. been given to them by the 1st Adam.

  438. For me to take that back. I've got to engage the ones that

  439. are being influenced by that because my battle is really not

  440. against the flesh and blood, it's against that principality

  441. power and I need them to Take Me Out.

  442. Jesus was never trying to sit on a natural throne because every

  443. time they tried to, he said not Tom.

  444. I'm out of here because I know the hearts of man.

  445. They want me to be king, and if they knew I took that power, now

  446. I'd have to throw them all into the lake of.

  447. Fire. There'd be no redemptive value,

  448. right? But Jesus gets even more tight.

  449. He says in John chapter 8 and John chapter 8, verse 42.

John 8 chapter mention John 8:42

  450. Look at Jesus. Jesus says now this you have to

  451. understand. In order for you to understand

  452. who he's talking to, you would have to jump all the way back up

  453. to the 13th verse. Okay, because he's in a whole

  454. dialogue and there's some individuals he's talking to.

  455. He's dealing with the Pharisees, OK in this.

  456. But then in there is in a mingled of some, some Jewish

  457. people That just means people of the nation of Israel who have

  458. heard Jesus and they're deciding we're going to believe him and

  459. we're going to quit believing the Pharisees.

  460. We're going to actually start believing in him.

  461. And so he's having some dialogue with him.

  462. In fact, prior to this he's saying now listen as he's saying

  463. to them, he said listen, if you'll continue in my word and

  464. have my word, then man, you'll be my disciple.

  465. He's talking, but in the Pharisees Foresees are upset

  466. about that. So they keep engaging him.

  467. In essence, they keep nagging at him because they hate him.

  468. He goes on and says this, He said, if you were said to them

  469. the fairy. He said, if you were, if, if God

  470. were your father, you would love me.

  471. For I proceed forth and have come from the Father, for I have

  472. not even come on my own initiative.

  473. But he sent me. OK, he said.

  474. Why do you not understand what I'm saying?

  475. It's because you cannot hear my word, he said.

  476. You are now. You are of your father, the

  477. devil. That's why I called them Vipers.

  478. He said. You serpents, you brood of

  479. Vipers. He said you are of your devil,

  480. your father the devil. And you do.

  481. And you want to do the desires of your father.

  482. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in

  483. the truth, because there is no truth in him.

  484. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, and

  485. he is a liar and the father of lies.

  486. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe me, he said.

  487. Which one of you convicts me a sin?

  488. Now he's talking because he's like you show up here and

  489. there's no conviction, but when you look at me, your sins

  490. exposed, oh, he's calling them out, right?

  491. He said if I speak truth, why do you not believe me?

  492. He who is of God hears the words of God.

  493. For this reason you do not hear them because you are not of God.

  494. Drop the mic. I'll go heal somebody now,

  495. right? Well, how did this make them

  496. feel? They hated it.

  497. They hated it so much that they came together and they said we

  498. got to kill this guy we're. Going to kill this guy.

  499. We're going to kill this guy. We're going to kill this guy.

  500. We're going to kill this guy. Now listen, Jesus ran enough off

  501. just with his own preaching. He goes on, you know, and gets

  502. something else. You drinking my blood and eat in

  503. my flesh or have nothing. And the people following me is

  504. like this is too thick now I can't even hang with this.

  505. And so they begin to pull away. And it didn't take them long for

  506. the principalities and powers that were operating through the

  507. Pharisees to sway, even those that now they were able to get

  508. to Judas. Because Judas, the whole time is

  509. scared, is scared is all he cared about was I want to be

  510. with the guy that's going to be the king, and this dude doesn't

  511. ever want to take the throne. So it's like, you know, I mean,

  512. people are really starting to hate him.

  513. I mean, we're not. I mean the merit we were in and

  514. I was going to be a part of this Kingdom, like close contact.

  515. I mean, I'd be a part of all the money, the taxation, everything

  516. that goes with the king. I mean, I'm set up for life, but

  517. the guy won't get in position. So I'm going to go make an

  518. allegiance. With the other side.

  519. And he did. That for 30 pieces of silver

  520. betrays him. Right now Jesus is fighting.

  521. This is his strategy of war before he.

  522. He knows I have made him mad enough.

  523. I have. I have come against them enough

  524. now that they are acting and my time has come.

  525. And so he. Goes to the garden to pray

  526. because he says now. I'll continue to fight this way,

  527. Father, if this is what you want, because I know that this

  528. cost me you, I'm going to be separated from you.

  529. I'm going to take on sin, and I don't want that.

  530. So if there's any other way, let's do this right now.

  531. Talk to me right now. I want your ram in the thicket,

  532. right. And as the Lord's no Rams

  533. coming, son, no Rams coming, he said.

  534. Not my will. Your will be done.

  535. And they show up right? And they beat him.

  536. And all the while Jesus doesn't talk and they accuse him and he

  537. don't talk and they what are you going to do about your accusers?

  538. He's like bro fuss. So then he opens his mouth.

  539. I am woo man. That done it right there.

  540. What more do we need? Blasphemy.

  541. He's gone, right? And so then the.

  542. Soldiers because they're all in cahoots.

  543. Why are they in cahoots? Because principalities and

  544. powers are functioning through humanity, and Jesus is using

  545. this in order for him to defeat the works of the devil.

  546. They put him on the cross because think about it, Jesus is

  547. bled so much but yet he has not bled out.

  548. I mean, he can't go till he goes.

  549. He just needed the pathway because now you've you have

  550. condemned and put the action that any normal human being

  551. would be dead. But I'm giving up my spirit

  552. voluntarily. Here's the price We get over to

  553. Colossians Chapter 2, verse 14 and 15.

    Colossians 2:14

  554. It says this having canceled this amplified classic and

  555. blotted out, wiped away the handwriting of the note bond

  556. with its legal decrease in demands, which was enforced and

  557. stood against us. In essence we all have sinned

  558. and fallen short of the glory of God.

  559. We all deserved to be judged by the King himself, of which we

  560. would be all be found guilty, and we would be rightly cast

  561. into the lake of fire, which is the second death.

  562. But he paid that price, got it out of the way, so that if we

  563. would call on the name of the Lord that note, that certificate

  564. that says paid in full could be applied to our lives.

  565. So he goes on and says this. This note with this regulation

  566. decrees and demand. It is a legal note.

  567. It is legal binding, spiritually speaking.

  568. OK, for eternity forever OK. It says that this note of

  569. regulated decrease in demand he set aside and cleared completely

  570. out of the way by nailing it on the cross.

  571. God disarmed the principalities and powers that were that were

  572. ranged against him and made a bold display in public example

  573. of them in triumphing over them in Him and in the cross.

  574. So in essence, when Jesus conquered, when he went to the

  575. grave, in essence he made a demand.

  576. Give me the keys, because I'm innocent.

  577. So he takes the keys, he leads, leads captivity, captive.

  578. He goes to the Devil as he's going through the Heavens Realm

  579. in order to take his blood to the mercy seat.

  580. He then disarms in essence. You know, I don't know that term

  581. is is too complicated for me to say, but the term is.

  582. Is that it? He goes and he strips him of his

  583. power. He says where you had power, now

  584. I have power. Where you had power, I have

  585. power. And every place he had power, he

  586. stripped him in the whole realm of the Spirit.

  587. Because where are principalities at?

  588. Not in hell. The Devil doesn't have his

  589. headquarters in Hell. He's in heavenly places, but he

  590. stripped him of that. That means Michael knows.

  591. Gabriel knows. All the heavenly hosts know the

  592. ones that are singing around the Lord right now saying holy,

  593. holy, holy is the Lord knows. The devil knows all of his

  594. principalities and powers and rulers and darkness and witness.

  595. They all know that they've been stripped of the right to be able

  596. to maintain power over those that are like God.

  597. They have no right. Which brings us to our context,

  598. because why is Christians trying to go fight the devil?

  599. You are never called to go pick a fight on the devil forever.

  600. And when we see the scripture our battles not against we

  601. wrestle not this word wrestles kind of cool because if you look

  602. it up in the Greek it means 2 opponents that are going to in

  603. essence wrestle to the point that one gets put to the mat

  604. with the hand on their throat. In essence, Jesus took the devil

  605. out, put his foot on his throat, and then when he ascended, he

  606. said church, just put your foot there.

  607. Just put your foot there. Come on, just put your foot

  608. there. Now you understand that is a

  609. defeated, vanquished position. When Jesus goes up, he has given

  610. you. When you get in Christ, then you

  611. just put your foot right where his foot is and he's already in

  612. essence, the battle's over when you when if you used to watch

  613. wrestling. I did a long time ago, not

  614. today, because it's just way too out, even more so.

  615. But in essence, Jesus leaned over because you know it's the

  616. tag team. He tags you in, you come and he

  617. said go ahead and put your foot here.

  618. Then he says I'm gone and he leaves the match because I want

  619. you get a part of this and just stand there when you've done all

  620. the stand stand and we have immature believers saying I'm

  621. going to take out the devil. You were never called to go pick

  622. a fight on the devil. We going to go pick a fight on

  623. the devil. No, you're not.

  624. Because if you go pick a fight, that tells me you let him up.

  625. You've let him up, 'cause look what Jesus happens to say in

  626. John 1714 and 15. It says this.

  627. I have given them. He's talking to the Father, says

  628. prayer before he said. Now Father, I have given them

  629. your people. You better love the word more

  630. than anything. If you want explosive spiritual

  631. life, you better. Love the word more than

  632. anything. Knows what he said.

  633. I have given them. Your word, he said.

  634. And the world has what hated them, because they are not.

  635. Of this world. Even as I am not of this world.

  636. Then he goes on and says this. Look what he says.

  637. I do not ask you to take them out of the world.

  638. My goal is not for them to die and come to heaven.

  639. Although when they die, they'll come to heaven.

  640. We'll be here for a little bit before we come back.

  641. Because again, you got to read the back of the book to realize

  642. what's all really going on. And it's not just we win.

  643. It's really bigger than that. You do win.

  644. That's the simplicity. So much so that you don't

  645. understand you're coming back and you're actually going to get

  646. more. I don't do war.

  647. Yeah, you do, if you would. Jesus.

  648. Because Jesus coming back to take some people out.

  649. There's a special op going on. Read the book and there's blood.

  650. Just say blood and you'll be all right By then.

  651. You'll be able to handle that stuff.

  652. All that makes me. No, you won't be queasy.

  653. You'll be a glorified body. You'll be good.

  654. It'll be all good. All right, but he said, I'm not

  655. asking you to take them out of the world.

  656. But what's he say? Keep them from the evil?

  657. He's not saying, look, they're like me.

  658. They got my word. Keep them in the world and go

  659. tell them to go beat up the devil anytime they want to like

  660. I did. No, he says, keep them from it.

  661. Don't get don't have them. Get engaged in strict combat

  662. 'cause I did. That.

  663. Just remind them, keep your foot on the neck.

  664. He says this again in Second Corinthians chapter 3, verses

    2 Corinthians 3 chapter mention

  665. one through three. He says This he says, Finally,

  666. brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread

  667. rapidly, be glorified just as did also with you, and that we

  668. would be rescued from perverse and evil men.

  669. For not all have faith again. Evil, perverse and evil men are

  670. those not flesh and blood, but this is principalities and

  671. powers that they still are under because they're still in the

  672. domain of darkness and they're stuck over there and so they're

  673. still influenced by it and we can be what delivered from them.

  674. Now there's a whole lot of way of being delivered and most of

  675. us go at about it the wrong way. But I'll and I'll say a couple

  676. things about that verse four though he said, but the Lord is

  677. faithful and He will strengthen and protect you.

  678. What from the Evil 1 cause At the end of the day he said that

  679. we are to occupy. To occupy means stay in the

  680. position I left you in, he says. It's in Ephesians chapter 4,

    Ephesians 4:27

  681. verse 27. This is the King James Version.

  682. I'm going to read you some more, he said Not neither.

  683. Give place to the devil, the amplify says.

  684. Do not give the devil an opportunity to lead you into sin

  685. by holding a grudge or nurturing anger or harboring resentment or

  686. cultivating bitterness. It one translation says Leave no

  687. such room or foothold for the devil.

  688. Give no opportunity to him, Don't let him off the mat.

  689. Are you hearing me? One says.

  690. Don't give the opportunity to the devil.

  691. The passion says don't let the slanderous accuser the devil and

  692. opportunity to manipulate you. Now here's where people fail.

  693. We already have been positioned with our foot on the neck.

  694. We don't wrestle with flesh and blood because we are the victor

  695. and the devil is under our. Feet, right.

  696. That's where we're at. And as long as we do not allow

  697. those that are still in his domain and the words that they

  698. still use of because he's talking from down there to them

  699. and he's using them to try to get you to do this.

  700. Because this is what happens when you start going, oh, you

  701. want some of this, You let him up.

  702. Flesh and blood becomes distraction.

  703. Now let me tell you the same people that are violent in

  704. Jesus's time are violent in this time, and I can't tell you how

  705. many believers it's just. Pathetic.

  706. Say it with me. Pathetic.

  707. Say it with disdain. In your facial expression.

  708. Pathetic. Come on, dude.

  709. Y'all smiling. Pathetic, that is.

  710. That's pathetic. Pathetic, right?

  711. It's pathetic that Christians are attacking Christians.

  712. Don't you know that Jesus is like I know who will try to kill

  713. you? It's religious individuals that

  714. love their definition of me instead of the definition you're

  715. telling them of being rightly divided.

  716. So I realize the first people I am not going to get into a match

  717. with is a person who says they know the word, they're mature,

  718. they've done all these exploits, but yet I don't see any fruit.

  719. Come on, that's good. And as a result of that, if I

  720. come and attack, then I am setting that person up to want

  721. to kill me and I'm not tasked for them to kill me.

  722. I'm tasked to live at peace with all men as far as I can.

  723. More believers are taking time to fight with other perceived

  724. believers instead of just going out into all the world because

  725. at the end of the day. I remember one time, Pastor

  726. Marcus, remember this, stand up. Y'all so y'all know who Pastor

  727. Marcus is, In case nobody knows, so Pastor Marcus and I.

  728. You know? And Marlene, where are you?

  729. You're in the room because you know, you were part of this.

  730. Stand up. So, Marlene, it wasn't her

  731. fault, OK? It wasn't her fault.

  732. So let me preface that. And it wasn't even her good

  733. friend's fault, but it was her good friend's boyfriend.

  734. Was the issue. So in the good intentions you

  735. can be seated. My mother-in-law invited me and

  736. my wife and Marcus was with me over to the house because she

  737. had a friend who had a boyfriend that loved God and he.

  738. Was kind of the rebel in the Baptist Church.

  739. Because he believed. In the gifts of the Spirit.

  740. So I walked into the house, right?

  741. I walked into the house and I walked in the house.

  742. The guy was sitting on like a a stool.

  743. And he goes, whoo, I felt the anointing when you came in.

  744. Yeah, yeah, man. If you talk like that, you need

  745. to. Stop.

  746. Please stop. Please, please stop.

  747. Whoo. I feel the anointing.

  748. I'm like, OK, you know, because I mean, that's already for me.

  749. The red flag. Why?

  750. I already know it's a red flag. Because you don't have to feel

  751. the anointing. All my life I am anointed

  752. because we're all anointed. Period.

  753. Anyway, so we engage pleasantries.

  754. And so, you know, obviously at that point he's, you know, his

  755. zeal about the gifts. You know, OK, I'm around

  756. somebody else who believes like me.

  757. So like he goes through this whole deal, you know, and he was

  758. talking about it and obviously he was equating tongues only

  759. with the gifts. And that's the only time you can

  760. speak in tongues. And I perceive.

  761. So I listen to it and that's cool.

  762. I said, you know, So then I just started to generally talk about

  763. the. Baptism of the Holy Ghost,

  764. whatever is speaking in tongues, you know, And I started to see a

  765. roadblock, you know, we're Locking up now.

  766. He was talking about my anointing.

  767. I mean, literally. Man, you're so annoying.

  768. Whoo. You know, I happen to hear a

  769. couple of your messages. So I mean, I mean just bragged

  770. about the anointing in my life. Bro.

  771. OK, so at that point, then we start talking.

  772. He says, And I said, so. I said, OK.

  773. I said, well, where's your Bible?

  774. So he pulls his Bible out. So I take him over to John.

  775. You know where Jesus breathed in them.

  776. I said, did they receive the Holy Ghost?

  777. Yeah. Did they get it all?

  778. They got it all. I said I believe that too.

  779. Yeah, pulled him over to Acts chapter one and then where he

  780. says the Holy Ghost going to come and he was like, so he

  781. starts flipping back and forth, right.

  782. So then he goes down to his commentary because he had a

  783. commentary by someone who doesn't believe in the baptism

  784. of the Holy Ghost. What evidence is speaking in

  785. tongues? See, the guy believed you could

  786. have tongues as a gift to the Spirit only, but that we

  787. couldn't be in do with power because he really didn't know

  788. the Bible, which really wasn't even functioning in the gifts.

  789. He was like Simon the sorcerer who wanted gifts to be

  790. functioning so he could seem anointed.

  791. That's why he called me so anointed, because he only wanted

  792. me to reciprocate the conversation.

  793. So then he starts. I said no, no, no, no, no.

  794. Stay with the Bible. Yeah.

  795. I said, I said OK. I said all you're doing is

  796. you're telling me this, and I'm not going to tell you the person

  797. is because they are well known. I said you're telling all you're

  798. doing is you're given the interpretation of a man.

  799. I want to stay with Scripture. What does the Scripture say?

  800. All right, so we we, we conversing now because again,

  801. you I was anointed. You love my preaching.

  802. I mean, I I thought we were on the same wavelength.

  803. I mean, I'm here for us to be edified together.

  804. And I kept him there. I said, I said, so basically

  805. you're going to take that man's interpretation over what I'm

  806. saying, but I'm just looking at scripture and I'm not trying to

  807. fill in a bunch of stuff that's not there.

  808. He said, man to you, he goes that, he goes, that's all

  809. that's, that's false doctrine. And now I'm confused because I

  810. was anointed when I came in the room.

  811. Now I know I'm right, but. I don't want this guy trying to

  812. kill the ministry before I get started.

  813. I don't want him running around town doing everything he can to

  814. try to destroy this church because I know.

  815. So I said hold on, Do you believe that Jesus Christ died

  816. on the cross and rose from the grave and that through him and

  817. only through him, you can be saved?

  818. He said yes. I said so do I, Let's just stay

  819. there. And that was it.

  820. I left it peaceful because at the end of the day, there's

  821. really no reason for me to have this conversation.

  822. Pastor, why don't you do more with pastors in the community?

  823. Because it's not county commissioners trying to shut me

  824. down. And we tend to think we have

  825. this duty to make sure believers.

  826. Know the word rightly divided like us, to the point that we

  827. incite them to violence. If you know that they're not

  828. receiving, walk away because it's not your fight.

  829. It's not your fight. We have more pertinent things to

  830. do and there are other people who are going to be more open to

  831. here, and at the end of the day, it's up to them to decide

  832. whether they want to come or not at the end of the day.

  833. So there's no reason for me to go out and try to pick a fight

  834. with the devil. I don't have to.

  835. He's already a defeated foe. I've been standing victorious

  836. the day I found out who I was in Christ and kept my foot here.

  837. And then when people came at words from other realms, I never

  838. took it as them. And right now in our political

  839. realm, there are a lot of Christians that are being

  840. seduced into conservativism because they're equating.

  841. If you're a conservative, you must be a Christian.

  842. Just because there's some ideals that are the same, they are not

  843. the same. There was one particular person

  844. I saw that is known as a believer, talks about God and

  845. all stuff, but then was talking about a situation is like, if

  846. that was there, I would kill them.

  847. I and I'm like, what are they saying?

  848. You know how many believers are stuck in the podcast box and are

  849. infuriated with things going on? Do you think you're more mad

  850. about pedophiles than? Jesus do.

  851. You think you want justice more than him, But if we're going to

  852. win, we can't go after and say these people are going to burn

  853. in hell and they OK, Yeah, people that do behavior that's

  854. against the Kingdom are going up.

  855. Why you got to broadcast? That.

  856. In essence, every time you engage in that kind of activity

  857. and you let him get up every time.

  858. Now that doesn't mean we don't say defend, but if you let God

  859. do it, he'll open the doors because I don't have to force my

  860. way anywhere. I'm LED everywhere and we are

  861. attacking things instead of saying, you know, people are

  862. going to do. Stuff the end of the day and.

  863. You understand Paul's letters were not to the lost, they were

  864. to the church, but they were to the congregations he started.

  865. Now ultimately, As for the church, I get that.

  866. But again, if someone doesn't want to receive 'cause even Paul

  867. said send the letters to Laodicea, but then God says to

  868. John, well, the church at Laodicea, they're not listening

  869. to the writings of Paul and I have a problem with them bad.

  870. Is that what God wanted? No.

  871. In fact, when one of the churches he said they got the

  872. spirit of Jezebel, I even gave her time to repent, which means

  873. they let him, God himself let her stand the church.

  874. I can't believe they let people in like.

  875. That well, there's a time to repent, but if they don't like

  876. with that church, he says. I gave her time to repent, she

  877. didn't. So I'm going to deal with it,

  878. which means some people could be around and it seemed like, whoa,

  879. no problem. But you know, there's been

  880. plenty of time of repentance. They didn't do it.

  881. We're going to deal with it. And when I deal with it, then,

  882. then guess what, I'm dealing with it in the steps of God and

  883. the plan of God. Which means then if I say you

  884. can't be here anymore. Then I have the full force of

  885. the Kingdom with the net, my foot on the neck of of the

  886. enemy, and I'm not going to have them come and try to destroy

  887. this Ministry. But if it's.

  888. Just I'm right and you're wrong. And I'm going to attack you.

  889. And I can't believe you did this.

  890. And I'm going to let you know that I'm right.

  891. Well, then you know what? I open up situations that never

  892. needed to be opened up. Because really, it's my pride to

  893. want to make sure you know that I know when there's plenty of

  894. times that I can say, well, praise the Lord, bless you.

  895. So how can you do that? Well, Jesus said bless your

  896. enemies. He didn't say kill them all.

  897. See. Because again, our battle's not

  898. against flesh and blood. There may be someone that

  899. they're in sin, they're off they ain't doing right nothing about

  900. it. And the Lord's like, they ask

  901. for your coat, give them your cloak.

  902. They're taking asking you go one, might give them two.

  903. You say don't curse your enemy, bless them.

  904. I don't understand. How can you support that?

  905. I'm just following the Holy Ghost 'cause my foot is on the

  906. neck of the devil, and my battle's not against flesh and

  907. blood, but against principalities and powers.

  908. And if I really want something to function there, then if I

  909. function the way God does, then God gets involved.

  910. And I would much rather God get involved and vindicate than me,

  911. vindicate me. And in these last days, there's

  912. going to be a lot of opportunity for us to be mad at faces.

  913. If you get around someone and you can't hardly stand it, this

  914. is what you're doing. Starting to pick your foot up.

  915. You need to say, Lord, forgive me, I bless them.

  916. It ain't about what they deserve because I'm going to keep my

  917. heart, right? Because you did the fight, you

  918. came down and you picked on the devil and you tricked him.

  919. Because if he hadn't known what he was doing when he had you

  920. killed, he never. He just said don't touch the

  921. guy, leave him alone, don't touch him, let him live forever,

  922. period. But he didn't.

  923. And we have vanquished our enemy.
