The Reigning Spirit - Part Two - Our Focus for 2024

spirit. Amen, I said.

We have the reigning spirit turn over to First Timothy Chapter 4.

1 Timothy 4 · chapter mention

I want to continue in this vein. As I said, I can almost minister

every message in this context this year, and in some ways we

probably will, although you know we'll they'll contain different

subjects within it. We're going to be pretty

intentional of trying to keep the dots connected for you.

Amen. And so I'll I'll say a few

scriptures we said last week, but I'm not going to do a

massive review at all because the reality is, you know, you

just need to go online and listen to it for yourself.

But in First Timothy chapter 4, verse one, it says this.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in latter times some will

fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceiving spirits

and doctrines of demons. Now notice it literally says

that the Spirit explicitly says this, which means that this is

going to happen. You can't pray this from happen,

not happening. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

You can't say, oh Lord, I pray that none would would turn away

from the faith. It's not going to, it's going to

happen. I said it's going to happen.

So we can't stop it from happening.

It's going to happen. But what you can do is learn how

you're not one of those who fall away.

I said, You're not one of those who fall away.

Amen. And then it goes on to say the

reasons why they will fall away from the faith.

Amen. And that is that they begin to

give their attention. One translation says this, one

here and others that they give their attention to deceiving

spirits and doctrines of demons. They're entertaining words that

are being spoken that are not in alignment with the word of God.

Now it will be extremely easy for anyone who does not have a

healthy diet of reading the word to be seduced.

Extremely easy. And here's the thing.

I really laughed the other day. I did.

I mean, I laughed when I saw this.

There was a little Instagram thing come through where a

person posted that if when people began in the church to

read the Bible at least four times a week, that depression

dropped 43%. Low self esteem was like 50

something. I mean it just and I'm like,

this is so stupid because again, it's obvious the word has life

and the fact that we as the church at large now have

believers, you understand within churches at large have no value

for reading the word none at all.

They just, they are basically. What's crazy is, is that we are

living in a new covenant, having the Holy Ghost in US.

Yet we're behaving like we're in an old covenant.

Because in the old covenant, when the Lord began to introduce

himself to the nation of Israel that I'm going to be your king,

that he comes down on the mountain, you know, with

Thunder, you know, and smoke. I mean it was quite the

spectacle. In fact he said y'all got to

consecrate yourself for three days.

Don't touch the mountain. Come when I come down, you touch

the mountain. Anything touches the mountain

going to drop dead. I'm that holy, OK?

And so there was great fear and trembling with them.

And when his voice boomed, the whole nation, said Moses, You

talk to him and then you come back and tell us what he said

and we'll do it Now. First of all, they were liars.

The lesson we will learn is this.

If you are doing it because someone else has said it, you're

not going to do it. So if you're following God

because I'm preaching to you, then I would probably say you're

not following God. Amen.

You're going to have to take the responsibility to grow in the

Lord or to read the Scripture and cultivate your relationship

with the Lord so you can understand your purpose and

assignment. That when I minister, you should

search the scriptures for yourself to see that it's true.

I'm quite confident that the majority of the time it will be

accurate by the Holy Ghost. Now, I'm not going to tell you

I'm perfect, so I cannot say it will always be, but I endeavored

for it to be. And if there's ever a time that

something's not exactly right, well, we can make that

correction really quick and do OK.

Because, you know, all of us have traditions that we've

brought. If you've had any type of

relationship coming through the church, many of us have some

types of traditions that when confronted with the Word, we may

say, I may need to change that it sounded holy or it sounded

right till all of a sudden we got the scripture realized.

Huh. So what do we do?

Are we like Pharisees where we hold to our tradition and ignore

the commandment of God, or do we change our traditions to be in

alignment with the Word? Can I get an Amen?

So it's very important that we we do that.

But what the reason why some? And I'm glad the Word is not

many, but it is some and it's that they'll fall away from the

faith because they're entertaining other things.

And if you'll have a a heavy diet of reading the word in

desire to not try to conform it to your thinking but allow it to

change your thinking, You know, one of the greatest dangers is

going into scripture to try to prove your point instead of,

well, I think this, let's see if it's accurate.

Let's determine whether this thought's accurate.

I'll give you case in point. Pastor Mike and I had the, I had

this thought and I said, you know, I'm curious, you know,

'cause everybody wants to use this, you know, those who don't

want to be born again, they're when you tell them they need

Jesus as the Lord. And So what about the people

that are in nations that never heard, right?

And like, what about those people?

You understand? Like, again, if no one's gone

them, they don't get saved. Then how in the world could God,

you know, not, you know, let them in.

So then ultimately, if he lets them in for their kind of

behavior, then surely he's going to let me, even though

technically I'm having the ability to hear right now.

So we threw out this thought, Jesus is a man.

At least he came as a man, right?

He's in a skin suit. He's called himself the Son of

man. Man has been authorized to

preach, correct? It's our assignment to preach

the gospel. So I thought, well, I've heard

of testimonies that Jesus has shown up in other countries.

People have said they've seen him.

So could it be that these unreached places, Jesus himself

shows up and preaches? Sounds good, doesn't it?

Right. And then you start thinking,

well, on the road to Damascus, who did the talking to Paul?

It was Jesus, man. It sounded good.

I'm getting you to think, wow, OK, that's good answer.

It's not true. I'm not saying that Jesus

doesn't show up in nations, because he probably does.

And I'm not saying because it's obvious.

According to scripture, Jesus definitely spoke from heaven to

Paul. But Jesus's testimony of himself

is not what caused Paul to be born again.

Ultimately, it's because he had already heard the gospel from

the church. He was putting people in jail

that were of the way he already heard the testimony.

In fact, the first time he I don't know if it's the first

time, but the first recorded time that we know that Paul he

ears were in hearing the gospel was at the stoning of Stephen.

So again, Jesus showed up and confirmed something man on earth

was already doing in essence. If Jesus could take our

responsibility, don't you think he'd just go ahead and come down

and preach to everybody? Because at that point Matthew

2414 would be over? He would preach the gospel of

the Kingdom because he's well versed in the gospel of the

Kingdom. It's the only thing he preached

while he was on the planet. And in doing so, then the end

would come because Jesus can pop in and out of any country.

He's in his glorified state. The reality is it does require

us. Amen.

The good news is, angels also know where people who carry the

gospel live. It's just as easy, like in

Cornelius's case, that we could conclude that somebody could be

trying to worship God the best they know how according to

nature, according to Romans. And as a result of that, an

Angel could so show up and say go find this person.

So it's kind of what we call a false premise that people are

concluding that there are people who are not hearing, but you

can't really prove that. I said you can't prove that just

because someone says, well, this is a people group that's never

heard the gospel. That may not be true.

It could be an isolated island island.

But the missionary who went, preached there, died, and never

told anybody. He made it.

OK. It's just as easy to conclude

that maybe something's been on an island, because we'll all be

without excuse. Are you hearing me?

My point is, is that I'm not going to be deceived because I

let the word decide what truth is, not my own opinion.

OK, so so the Spirit explicitly says in these latter times some

will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful

spirits and doctors of demons. Obviously latter times is the

days we're living in. Today there's coming a day of

what the Bible Jesus called the great falling away that the the

love of many will wax cold. That literally it is the word

agape, which means they have the love of God shed abroad in their

heart. It's those who are alive to God

that ultimately their love will grow cold.

And as a result of that, they'll become much like the Laodicea

Church, where they're lukewarm. I said.

Where they're lukewarm. You don't want to be lukewarm.

Amen. You don't want to be lukewarm,

OK? You want to be someone that is

fervent for the things of the Lord.

OK, so first John 41 says this and the passion, it says

delightful lead love. Friends don't trust every

spirit, but carefully examine what they say to determine if

they are of God. Because many false prophets have

mingled into the world. Now again, for people to fall

away, they have to hear what seducing spirits or doctrines of

demons are being said. But you understand this.

They are utilizing humans to carry out those words.

They're using people to speak to.

That in turn then speaks to you. And if you entertain, you pay

attention to it. You keep listening to it.

And in today's society, it is easy to go onto YouTube and

listen to anything you want. In fact, I guarantee you the

devil will set you up with someone to to to support you're

already thinking. Oh, already thinking, you know,

how many people are out there that are taking scripture to say

that the earth is flat? I'm just telling you, I mean,

there are scriptures out there that they are utilizing for

everything. I mean, you can do all kinds of

crazy things with scripture if you don't know.

OK, Jesus said go and do there likewise.

And then there's another scripture where Judas hung

himself. So we could say Judas hung

himself and Jesus said go and do their likewise.

Well. Now obviously we shouldn't do

that, but I mean you can manipulate scripture all day

long and if you're not trained nor have the Holy Ghost and then

trained by the Holy Ghost. I'm telling you it's amazing

that the the IT just shows the infancy of a believer when

things can be said and they just take it hook, line and sinker.

Now, I'm not asking you to be critical, but I am asking you to

examine, to examine. Because if you don't even go to

examining, you'll never discern, you'll never discern, right?

At the end of the day, there will be no discernment.

It's impossible. In fact, the Bible even says you

cannot in Hebrews discern good from evil unless you're trained

in righteousness. It means you have to come into a

training. It doesn't mean because you're

born of God. Being born again is not trained

in righteousness. Being born again gives you

entrance into the Kingdom that makes you alive unto God and

allows the Holy Spirit to be inside of you to now give you

training. But if you won't yield to that

training then you can't figure out between good and evil.

I find it interesting that there is a global church that is

blessing people in certain sexual acts that the Bible calls

in both Old and New covenant as an abomination.

Any sexual behavior outside of marriage between husband and

wife in that context is wrong. Some sexual interactions are

considered an abomination. And it's not just with humans,

it's with other animals. Are you hearing me?

But again, we're like, well, you know, they're so open.

That's just such wow. Because God's not open.

God's righteous. He's just he has a way for life

to manifest. Now again, just to let you know

you can do whatever you want to do because even God will let you

do whatever you want to do. But he's going to hold you

accountable, not to your thinking, but to his standard.

Hallelujah. I'm telling you, when you stand

before the Lord, he will not be saying so.

Tell me. Tell me why you thought that was

OK. Maybe I should change.

I mean, one minister had the audacity to actually say to his

congregation, he said, you know, if I was there, maybe I would

have said, Lord, I mean, I'm thinking, wow, you're going to

tell the creator of heaven and earth?

Maybe he should reconsider. That's to fit society today.

Are you hearing me? All right, Well, that's fun.

Praise the Lord. You know, this thing's going out

on YouTube, so you might as well just get excited about it.

Anyway, John, Chapter 12, verse 31, says, now judgment is upon

John 12:31

the world. Now the ruler of this world will

be cast out. So in these first three verses,

what we're trying to show you real quick is that there is a

nut. There are other spirits than the

Holy Spirit or what we what we call the reigning spirit.

The reigning spirit is God the Father Son, the Holy Spirit.

They are one and they are the reigning spirit.

All other spirits are subject to them.

Do you understand? We are a spirit.

We have a spirit, OK? And then there's a spirit realm

we can't technically see, but you know there is even a realm

in the realm of light. You know, we see things on a

particular spectrum, but you understand there are places

beyond that that are visible, eyes can't see.

But it still exists nonetheless, right?

And so there are things in the unseen that exist that we can't

see. But if we were given the ability

to see, we could see them, right?

And there are beings that exist in a realm right now that though

we can't see, they exist. In fact, right now in this room,

there are other beings besides us.

They're called angels, ministering spirits, and they

are here. And then God himself is here,

called the Holy Spirit. He's here in the room.

Amen. I don't just seem to know that.

Because you're a carrier of him. Are you the temple of the Holy

Ghost? Then he's in you.

Amen. So we see then that their

spirits are going to communicate, obviously.

He says test every spirit, which means there's more than one

spirit. But then we see here in John

that Jesus came, so that because judgment was coming on the ruler

of the world. I want you to understand when

the whole context of the Bible is about establishing the

reigning spirit. Now again, I want to say this.

When we talk about reigning, we're talking about Kingdom.

Reigning is not religion. Reigning has to do with someone

overseeing it all. And Jesus says in John that

judgment is upon the world. Now that's not upon earth in the

context of planet Earth, it's upon the systems and the one

who's operating all the systems of the world.

And it says now the ruler of all the systems.

The way things function, the way you see it, the way they

operate, is that particular ruler is going to be cast out.

In essence, there's a ruler in this realm that I've come to

displace. Are you hearing me?

And the reason we're going to see here is that this person has

or this entity spirit has had been at one juncture able to

reign freely because of a a challenge.

In Luke chapter 4 verses one and two.

Luke 4 · chapter mention

It says Jesus full of the Holy Spirit.

Full of what? Jesus full of what.

The reigning spirit returned from the Jordan and was led

around by the Spirit in the waters.

Notice Jesus is yielding to the direction of this Holy Spirit.

Now why is he doing this? Because Jesus is the Word.

He is the one Supreme. There is nothing more exalted

than the Word, which is then more exalted than Jesus.

However, Jesus has emptied himself of his preeminence.

He's left the heaven realm came into the earth as a man and as a

man. The A man is dependent on the

connection between the reigning Spirit and heaven.

Jesus no longer is in heaven. Meaning the Son or the second

part of the Godhead is not residing in heaven.

He's on the earth and he is limited.

I'm going to say it again. He's limited to the confines of

a human body. So in order for him to hear the

Father, he has to have the Spirit.

Without the Spirit, there's no way he can hear from his Father.

That's why Jesus said I only speak what I've and what did he?

Who did he hear from or through the Holy Spirit?

So here's Jesus only want to do the Father's bidding.

And in doing so, the Holy Spirit says, OK, let's go into the

wilderness. And he says that's what Dad

wants me to do. I'm going.

And so he's led by the Spirit into the wilderness.

It says verse 4, verse 2 for 40 days, being tempted by the devil

and he ate nothing during those days and when he had ended he

became hungry. Now drop down to verse 5.

Verse five is the temptation I want us to look at.

It says and he that is the devil.

Satan LED Jesus up and showed him all the what what he's

showing. Come on, what he's showing all

the kingdoms. Now I understand that I'm.

I'm ministering a little bit today and teaching, you know.

But, you know, stay with me and stay connected with me, OK?

Because there's nothing worse than us to try to go into some

things because you don't understand, We have guests here

that I'm going to unload some stuff they've never heard

before. And when you first heard some

things, you know, you were like, what?

So you better always maintain that because the minute we

don't, we're in trouble because then we won't value our king

properly and we'll fall right back into religion ourselves and

just wait to die and go to heaven.

OK, so he showed him. That's Jesus all the devil

showed Jesus all the kingdoms in a moment of time.

And the devil said to him, I will give you all this, what

domain and its glory? For it has been what?

Hand it over to me and I can give it to whomever I wish.

Now notice the devil did not show him different religions.

He did not try to convince Jesus to worship an idol, to worship

some other doctrine, but showed him what the whole Bible's

about. It's about reigning.

It's about a king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.

And so here Jesus is being tempted by the devil, the

devil's light. This is.

Is this what you're after, 'cause it's mine.

And you know what? I'll give it to you.

I'll give it to you. I don't know what the plans are

for you thinking you going to come get this thing.

Because he doesn't know it. He just knows it's coming.

I'm going to show you that he knows it's coming.

He just don't know how he's going to get it.

So he's like, you know what? Why go through all the trouble?

This be really easy. You want this?

Fine, I'll give it to you. But all you have to do is bow

down in essence. Bend your knee to me as the

ruler. I'll be your king.

And as your king, then I'll let you rule this boy.

You know how many people Christians today are bowing the

knee to the world's way? They're bowing their knee to the

world's way. They want promotions.

They want jobs. Just that, the other.

And you know what they won't even ask if there's a church in

the area. They don't seek a church.

They don't seek a move by God. They only seek a move by

promotion, retirement. What's better for my kids?

Which is not better for your kids if you don't have them in a

great church that's growing them into things of God.

And we'll bow our knees, man. This is it.

This is our moment. Because the devil will give you

the world at the expense of your soul.

Because if he can have your soul back, meaning he can direct your

thinking, He doesn't care that you're born of God, because

you'll never rise to your power, I said You'll never rise to your

power. You'll always be submitted.

You know how many believers are anxious, worried, concerned,

struggling situations going on in the world?

And they're acting like the rest of the world.

And we're not even of this world anymore.

Why? Because we've lost the fact that

we have a reigning spirit. And instead we are just in the

religion of the world of where am I?

Where am I going to go when I die?

So all we think about is I can't wait to get to heaven.

It's so bad down here. It's so hard.

It's so tough. And all the while you have the

third person of the Godhead on the inside of you that wants to

talk to you, wants to guide you, wants to direct you.

But we have deaf ears and don't understand.

We have a reigning spirit that this Bible is not about you

going to heaven, It's about heaven coming to you.

It's about you getting back in sonship.

Now again, that doesn't mean you won't go to heaven when you die.

Because currently speaking, if any of us drop dead today, we

are going to be present with the Lord.

Where is the Lord presently? He's in heaven.

So we're going no problem. No problem at all.

But Jesus Christ himself is going to return to earth, and

we're coming with him. I said we're coming with him.

Praise the Lord. So he showed him all the

Kingdom. He said, I give to whomever I

wish. Therefore if you worship me, it

will all be yours. And Jesus said, it is written,

You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.

Only my Father is the ultimate King.

He's the only one I yield to. He's the only one I'm submitted

to. He is the creator of heaven and

earth. And this which you have, I've

come back for. But I won't take it your way.

My Father has a plan, I said. My father has a plan.

Now, again, I love the Luke account, because the Luke

account lets us understand that this is something that the devil

received a lot of times in pulpits.

We say the devil stole, but the devil did not steal.

The devil received through manipulation.

He manipulated a situation. He lied.

He deceived, He seduced, He's called the deceiver.

So when he comes into the garden where there's Adam, Eve without

sin, perfect environment, God would come down in the cool of

the day and spend time with them.

And heaven's realm was without sin, at least the 3rd heaven.

And then the earth itself is without sin.

God created man, put him in it and it says in Genesis 126, let

us make man in our image according to our likeness, and

let them have what dominion or rule over the fish.

See birds of the sky. It was rulership.

And he says, Adam, you can eat from any tree of the garden, but

of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat,

for the day you eat you will surely die.

And we asked this question. If Adam had never eaten the

fruit, where would he be today? So Adam wasn't trying to go to

heaven because God showed up on earth all the time.

But Adam ate the fruit. Why?

Because he listened to his wife, who was deceived by a serpent,

and the serpent wanted to reign. Because the serpent wants to

reign supreme, he wants to be the reigning spirit.

I said he wants to be the reigning spirit and because of

that in exchange took place in the garden.

Notice Jesus or Paul talking about Satan says this concerning

this temptation that he had in Second Corinthians 4/4.

He says among them the God of this world.

Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them

from seeing seeing the illumination of the gospel of

the glory of Christ who is the image of God.

Now honestly, in this context, what he's what's being said here

is that the devil does not want humanity to know the image of

Christ, which is really a reflection of what you were to

be from the beginning. He doesn't want you to discover

that God originally designed humanity to reign.

Humankind, both male and female, were to be reigning in the earth

as God is the reigning spirit over his children.

But when Adam fell from dominion, he gave that dominion

over to the devil of which now he's like all I got to do is

keep humans from ever knowing why they are originally here.

And yet we've bought into low level thinking concerning God.

And it's that all that Jesus offers us is the destination of

heaven and an absence from hell. When the reality is Jesus's

message was not about destination, it was about you

becoming a child of God now, where God lives in you today,

where God's Kingdom can begin to function in you.

Because again, as far as the sin of the world, He's already taken

care of that he's already taken care of the He's already already

done. He's just letting he's letting

the things play out so that humans can decide which side

they want to run with. This is not a God problem.

It's the patience of God allowing man to decide.

And it's not about get up here. Can't wait till you get up here.

All I wish you were here. The Lord's life.

Go ahead and make me Lord. I'll come and live in you.

I'll come down to you. I'll come to you.

I'm going to come to you, and I'll be with you, and I'll walk

with you, and I'll talk with you, and I'll train you and I'll

cause you to overcome. Now, man, how awesome is that?

So Satan did not receive the image of God the day adamate the

fruit, but he did receive dominion.

In essence, he became the God of the systems of the world, and he

reigned and he reigned over people.

Isaiah 1412 through 15 lets us know that all he wants is to be

the reigning spirit. He says How you have fallen from

heaven, All Star mourning, Son of Dawn.

You have been cut down to the earth.

You have weakened the nation. But you said in your heart, I

will ascend to heaven. I will raise my what?

Throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of the

Assembly in the recesses of the north.

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.

I will make myself like the Most High.

Nevertheless, you will be thrust down to shield to the recesses

of the pit. Thrones are in kingdoms, not

religion, and the devil knows this is not about religious

worship to a God that you decide what you want it to be.

I'm telling you, the simplicity of idolatry, or what we would

call religious worship, is it is having a firm persuasion that

God is who you've made him to be, that God is who you've made

him to be. Because again, we think of

idolatry because we have the context of Bob.

We think of little statues. Well, man made statues, you

know, and they're worshipping those things.

And I know I've been to the countries where they've done

just that. They believe deity is within

these particular. But not every culture believes

that deity is limited to a statue.

In fact, in some societies, especially in the Society of

Rome, the emperor or the king, the sea, or Caesar himself,

believed he was God. He was a God.

Are you hearing me? And so really in simplicity, if

you want to know whether or not you have idolatry, if you form

Jesus in your image, how you want him to be, and you worship

him that way, then Jesus himself has become your idol.

Hallelujah. You don't think idolatry runs

through the Christian religion? Yeah, they have a little idol

too. It's called a cross.

Now, I'm not against the cross, but the cross is not the

ultimate issue here because you understand, was Jesus the only

one on a cross? Multiple people have died on a

cross. In fact, the day Jesus died, two

others died with him. So the cross isn't holy.

The cross is a form of execution that the Romans used.

Are you hearing what I'm saying now?

Again, I don't mind you wearing a cross if it reminds you of the

price he paid. But are you worshipping a cross

and not worshipping the king? Does the cross keep you in

remembrance of all your sin and you don't go to the place of

raining? Because again, our kings no

longer in the grave, he wrote he.

The stone is rolled away. I don't have seen many people

with a stone. Well, what's that?

It's the stone that rolled away my kings alive.

I mean, I don't see people wearing crowns because I would

wear a crown before I would wear a cross.

I would put a throne before I would wear a cross.

I know my Jesus died that way because whatever it would have

been the form that the Roman government would have used in

order to kill at that time, as long as it didn't break his

bones, although they use that The other two, their bones were

broken, but Jesus gave up the spirit before then.

Whatever that would have technically been been, he would

have died that way and as a result of that, let go of his

life so that he could be in the grave, conquer death, hell in

the grave, but be raised up. Amen.

Now I think, thank God the cross reminds me of the price my dad

would pay so that I could get back in the Kingdom, that my

payment was so big that it required his blood.

But I look more to the king now. I look to that.

He seated on the throne, and he's raised me up and seated me

in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

He's redeemed me from the law of sin and death.

And then he gave me his spirit. Oh, we're going to see that.

Are you hearing me? So the devil has always had this

aspiration when sin was found in him that he and because of his

pride, he decided, I want to be the reigning spirit, I want to

sit on the throne of God. And do you understand this is

going to happen during the tribulation period as well, that

the Antichrist is going to manifest?

And what's he going to do? He's going to get on the Temple

Mount in Israel and proclaim himself God.

He just wants the throne. I said he wants the throne.

I said he wants the throne. Ah, but we have the reigning

spirit. I said we have the reigning

spirit. So Isaiah tells us he desired

the throne, but in turn he got thrown down.

Jesus says it this way in Luke 10/18, he said.

And he said to them, I was watching Satan fall like

lightning from heaven. I don't have time to go into

Revelations where Revelations talks about this particular

conflict that took place in the heavens and the devil and his

angels were cast out, cast down, Amen.

But we see this imagery constantly as every time he

tried to come and take the seat of of throne that he was put

down every time because the devil knows the Bible's about a

king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.

He knows it's not about going to heaven.

He knows it's about identity. It's about sonship.

It's about being a son and daughter of God.

It's about being in the image of God where you can reign like he

does, like God does. Again, Genesis 315.

He knew this was coming when this conflict took place the

minute he received the dominion and now has the power to

orchestrate how the earth flows, how it functions in essence.

I'm the ruler now of the earth. He did not get the image of God

which creates life because he is death.

He has rebelled from God. He wants nothing to do with God.

He will. Don't ever feel sorry for him.

And please don't be like so many misguided believers that thank

God God should give the devil an opportunity to repent.

He will never repent. He doesn't want to repent.

So quit trying to act like your more holy and compassionate and

merciful. Thank God the Father that is

asinine thinking, that is seduction by spirits trying to

get you to side with the enemy. He has one agenda when he chose

to rebel. He wants to be.

He wants to be. He never wants to turn.

He is not in one bit regretting the fact that he became the

opposite of what God is When I say the opposite.

It ain't opposite in power. This isn't some like equal power

on one side. He just wants nothing to do with

life. He is death personified.

Period. That's all he cares about.

He does one thing, and that is to seduce you so you'll feel

sorry for him, so that he can kill you.

He can destroy you. He can trample you, because he

hates the fact that you could become like God, because he

hates everything about God. Amen.

And he uses flattering words. He himself uses scripture.

If we went on to the Luke account and the next one, he

actually throws scripture at Jesus.

So it lets us know that you hearing the word of God is not.

Don't accept the fact that you heard it, that that whatever

someone said about it was accurate.

Hallelujah. So when Adam fell from dominion,

ate the fruit, gave his authority to the devil.

Genesis 3:15. I'm going to read out of the

Genesis 3:15

Good News Bible. It says it this way.

He says I'll make you talking to the serpent or the devil, who

now has authority. He said, look, I'll make you and

the woman hate each other. Her offspring and yours will be

enemies. Her offspring will her offspring

will crush your head and you will bite her offspring's heel.

In essence, he's saying I'm going to bring my seed Cannot

come through man now because man has fallen.

I'm going to show you this here in a second.

He's lost dominion. I cannot come through his

bloodline. I can't use him in the

reproductive process. I'll have to come myself.

I'll have to let my Holy Spirit come across upon a virgin so I

can implant my son in her womb and put a skin suit.

This is why Isaiah Chapter 9 verse six is so awesome.

And I love that we quote the scripture often because most of

the, you know, church body at large doesn't even look at this

particular verse. And that is a child will be

born, a son will be given, and we always say a child's born,

but a son's not born because the son always existed.

But then it goes on to say a child will be born, a son will

be given, and the government not Christianity.

But the government will rest on his shoulders.

It is his Kingdom. He will come and establish his

throne on David's throne. His Kingdom will have no end.

There'll be no end to the increase of his government.

Jesus shows up in the planet and says repeat calls.

The government of God is now in your midst.

It's accessible. It's right here.

I'm going to demonstrate. I'm going to show you what you

could have done if Adam had never fallen.

And I'm going to make a way so that you can get back in it.

Amen. So that the Kingdom of God in

its purest form can begin to function at greater levels on

the earth. And ultimately it's going to

take over the planet. I said ultimately it's going to

take over the planet. Amen.

See, This is why if you understand the context of the

Bible, then you'll laugh at stuff.

Because the Bible says the Lord sits in the heavens and laughs.

What's he laugh at? He laughs at nations.

Why's he laugh at nations? Because nations that are under

the sway of the devil, who wants to be the reigning spirit, He

wants to be the one that takes control and that everyone would

yield and submit to him. And so what's he do?

He uses the same tactics because he has no creative thing on his

own and he's like, I want to take over the planet.

So when you see nations invading nations, I'm like, yeah, they're

just trying to be like God, because Isaiah tells us or

Daniel does that a rock will be made without hands.

Who is that? Oh, that was weak, man.

I need you to have my intensity. There is a rock made without

hands. Who is that?

Jesus. And that it will come to the

earth. It's going to crush every other

government because it was dealing with the idol that King

Nebuchadnezzar had. All the other forms of

government, they're all going to just blow away.

And then this rock made without hands will become a great

mountain and will take over the whole earth.

So you understand when you're here in Russia's moving here,

China's doing this or Iran's doing that, Or, you know, other

nations, you start hearing about they're trying to move into

other territory. Like, why can't you just be in

the border that you're in? Why?

Because the devil wants to take the planet over, and he's going

to use people to try to do it, but the Lord will do it in a

moment. He himself will take over the

globe. And I'll be in that nation

'cause I'm a part of that nation, that nation that can't

be shaken, that Kingdom. And it can't be shaken even now.

See, This is why you can be bold when you have a reigning spirit

and say, what can man do to me? You killed me Today I'm showing

up in your future. I'll show up in your future.

You think you're getting rid of the our government?

You think you're going to get our government out?

We can't. We're here.

You can't take us out. And I'm coming back.

And I'll be at the seat when you're judged.

All right. Yeah, I'll see the avenging of

my blood. Glory to God.

I say. Glory to God.

So we see. Then there's this conflict.

So look what it says in Romans chapter 17.

We have the reigning spirit say I have.

The reigning spirit. Say I have the reigning spirit.

Now that's true to those who are born of God.

That goes on and says this in Romans 517.

It says death once held us in his grip.

OK, Young's literal translation says it this way.

For if by the offence of the One death did what reign through the

one much more, those who the abundance of grace and of the

free gift of the righteousness are receiving in life, shall

reign through the one Jesus Christ.

I'm going to read a couple different translations, because

it's really good. The Passion says it this way.

Death once held us in its grips, and by the blunder of one man,

that's Adam, the first Adam. Death reigned as king over

humanity. The devil comes to kill, steal

and destroy. And he reigned over us.

He reigned over us. I said.

He reigned over us. Didn't matter what you were

trying to do. Good.

It wasn't good. You're always condemned.

Guilty, full of shame. You ran after all the stuff he

promised you would make you feel better, only to find out that it

didn't. It made you worse.

You couldn't get rid of it. You couldn't.

You couldn't take a bath and get clean.

You couldn't do something good and feel good enough because it

rained over you. But now, how much more are we

held in the grip of grace and continue reigning?

Come on, continue reigning as kings in life.

Which life? This life right now, enjoying

our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in

the one and only Jesus, the Messiah, we can say he's the

king. Look, the contemporary English

version says it this way. Death ruled like a king because

Adam had sinned but that cannot compare with what Jesus has

done. God has been so kind to us and

has accepted us because of Jesus meaning because of what Jesus

did. Oh, pathway has been made now so

that when we accept Jesus, listen, He has not accepted us

as we are. He notices as we are is not

right. It ain't good.

It won't. It will not allow us entrance

into his Kingdom or it it can anyway reflect his nature.

So he says because I took on what you are, when you declare

me as Lord, I'll evict that dead spirit out of you.

I'll put a new spirit on the inside of you that has entrance

into this Kingdom becomes a son and daughter of God.

And then I'll put my Holy Ghost on the inside, the reigning

spirit to let you know you're a child of God.

You're a whole new species of being.

You're a new creature in Christ, it says.

And so we live and rule like kings.

The problem is, is we always try to compare kingship to man

kings. Where's my castle?

No, Our king served, so we serve.

And here's the thing. I don't get caught up in trivial

things like how big is my castle?

How many cars I have. I don't get caught up in trivial

things. Why 'cause my daddy owns the

planet. All the silver and gold is his.

He keeps the accounting and at any time he says here I'll just

transfer a little wealth over you for your purpose.

Dad foots the bill. Glory to God.

Woo Ma, Ma Ma. So we are to reign now are you

hearing me? Why can we reign?

Colossians chapter one, verse 13, The Passion says it this

way. He rescued us completely from

the tyrannical rule of darkness and has transplanted us,

translated us into the Kingdom realm of his beloved son.

Jesus. Said the Kingdom's in your

midst. Now you don't see it.

You can't see it, but it functions.

Jesus said if I cast out a devil with the finger of God, his

pinky, he said. You know the kingdom's here

'cause we are the reigning spirit.

Don't you know that sorry devil that all he has wanted is our

seat? When pride got in him, all he

wants is our seat, but he can't have it.

He's not powerful enough. That spirit can never amass

enough weapons of mass destruction to take us out.

Can't do anything. It doesn't matter how many

humans he assembles. Oh, y'all, don't want to hear

this. Do you understand?

In the millennial reign of Christ, once they release the

devil for a time, he will go to the known nations in the earth.

He will deceive them. They will pick up an army and

come after Jesus in Jerusalem and it will be of no avail.

Wow, are you hearing me? Because we have the reigning

spirit. I said we have the reigning

spirit, so there's no reason that we should fall away.

We should fall off. We should fall down.

We should turn aside because we have the reigning spirit now.

I love this Colossians. I'm going to read some excerpts

out of Rick Renner, Sparkling Jim, Volume 1 concerning

Colossians 215, which has to do with having small principalities

and power. He may a show of them openly

triumphing over them. He said this.

He said this is extremely graphic verse.

It is a picture painted for us by the Holy Spirit.

He says it is a glorious, vivid illustration of what happened

the day Jesus defeated death hell in the grave.

He said the word spoil in the Greek means to strip off or to

put off as one put off his garment.

This word would be depicted as disarming the enemy, literally

stripping his weapon, tree, and artillery from him, leaving him

without any weapons with which to respond.

One scholar says it this way, stripping one to the point of

complete nakedness. Using this word, the Holy Spirit

tells us when Jesus rose from the dead, he thoroughly

plundered the enemy. I mean, what problem do you have

when Jesus has thoroughly plundered the enemy?

He goes on to say this, that Jesus sacking and plundering

Hell's power was complete and his mission was accomplished.

And that's pretty awesome. But that's not all, because the

word show means this. It means to display or expose

something. So in the classical Greek

writing, it means to display a display of captives, weaponry,

trophies that were seized during war on foreign soul soil.

Once the war was finished and the battle was won, the reigning

emperor would return home victoriously, display and expose

the treasuries, the trophies, the weaponry and the captors

that he had seized during his military conquest.

This was a grand moment of celebration for the victor, but

it was humiliating experience for the defeated foe.

But wait, there's still more. In Colossians, he said, he made

a show of them openly. The word openly means this is

that it denotes boldness, confidence, or something that is

done blatantly or in publicity. I'm telling you, if some of the

Christians that are so religious and they're thinking saw our

king in this moment, they would call him arrogant.

He goes on to say this by using this word when when this whole

celebration took, Jesus boldly, confidently, loudly, blatantly

and publicly explode, exposed and displayed his now defunct

foe to the heavenly host. When Jesus came out, he let all

the realm of heaven know your rebellious leader that you fell

with. I've stripped him.

I've beat him. I've destroyed him.

I've taken all this stuff. I am the reigning spirit in

heaven and earth and under the earth.

Glory to God, my mom, it says the fact that Paul goes on and

says he made a show of them openly triumphing over them.

It says the phrase triumphing over them.

In it is a key verse because this is a technical word used to

describe a general or emperor who was returning home for a

grand victory in the enemy's territory.

The word triumph, are you all right?

Is when news reached the city. That means we're going to have a

triumphant parade. You know, right now, Michigan,

the the football team, the Wolverines was paraded in Ann

Arbor as the Champions. Now, if this was Jesus, he would

have made Washington be in the parade.

Oh y'all. Don't want to hear that as

they're going down the streets and everybody's saying they're

holding up the trophy, which would have taken place in Jesus

when the spirit is, then the Washington team would have been

on another one and it would have said losers.

Oh, that's so unsportsmanlike. Jesus was extremely

unsportsmanlike. The day he defeated the devil,

he drunk him through the heaven realm.

Glory to God, it says. When news reached the city, the

enemy was defeated. Plans for a triumphant parade

would go into a celebration. Are you hearing me?

In order to flaunt great victories, returning victors

would parade behind him the foreign king, the defeated folk

taken in captivity and bound in heavy chains of bondage.

Behind this now defunct enemy would walk the defeated ruling

men and leaders bound in chains along with their ruined king.

Oh my gosh, are you hearing me? I said.

Are you hearing me? Further back in the procession

would be oxcarts loaded with over to, overflowing with the

booty taken by force from the enemy's homeland.

Once these goods have belonged to the enemy, but now they

belong to the conquering king. Amen.

I said. Amen.

We could say this verse, this way.

Then the Rick Renner interpreted version would be this way.

He completely stripped principalities and powers and

left them utterly naked. Nothing was left at their

disposal to which to retaliate. He boldly, confidently, loudly,

blatantly and publicly exposed and displayed this now defunct

foe, leading a gallant, triumphant parade in celebration

of the enemy's defeat and his victory.

That's what happened when Jesus come up out the grave.

He tells in all the realms that I am the Supreme Spirit.

There are none greater than I am.

My name is above every name. Glory to God.

So First Corinthians 1545 says it this way.

My Mama, the church has got to rise up.

I'm talking the church he's building.

This is what we going to look like.

I mean, This is why we were a spot without wrinkle, because we

are so confident in what Christ has done.

I mean, I am who I am not because of who I am, but because

of who he made me to be. I am who I am because I am.

Made me that way. He made me that way.

He made me that way. He made me that way because of

the blood, because of the victory, because of the triumph.

He rescued me, delivered me, blow me out.

So it is written, the first man became a living soul.

You know what that means? When we read this, we think

about creation. But that's not creation.

In the beginning, God created man out of the dust of the earth

and he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.

And it says he became a living soul.

Soul. But in the Hebrew there's no

separation between soul and spirit.

But yet, obviously he was a spirit man, and he had a spirit.

But when he ate the fruit, that spirit died, and he became only

a living soul. Soul.

He now had to function in the earth by the five senses.

So Adam became it. He wasn't originally created

that way. He died in his spirit, cut off

from the things of God. The voice of God.

The spirit of God. But the last Adam.

Woo, I said the last Adam. I said the last Adam.

I said the last Adam. Come on.

What's his name? What's his name?

He became a life giving spirit. My gosh, he gave made our spirit

alive unto God and gave us the reigning spirit.

Come on, let's see this First Corinthians 212.

It says now we have not received the Spirit that belongs to the

world, but the Holy Spirit who is from God-given to us, that we

might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts of divine

favor and blessing so freely he lavished upon us by God.

Second Timothy, 17, says, For God has not given us a spirit of

fear, but a power, love, and sound.

Mod Romans ain't one The beginning says, but if.

But if the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead

dwells and in closing first John 4/4 you are pro God little

children and have overcome them because because because is He

who is in you, then He who's in the world you have the reign,

spirit, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

We rule and reign in this life. Woo.

What an awesome creation we are, what an awesome being He has

made us, how He delivered us, how He set us free and He has

defeated our foe. He cannot function in our life

unless we give him permission. That is the devil.

And if you never give him permission, if he shows up

knocking, you can say I'm the reigning spirit.

The reigning spirit lives in me and I'm in the image of God.

I cannot be defeated. I cannot be defeated.

God made me without defeat. I have No Fear.

I have No Fear because God is with me.

We have the rainy spirits and what a life that is.
