Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast
-
from St. Augustine, FL.
-
Now enjoy this message. Amen.
-
Well, I'm really excited about today and where we're going to
-
go for the next three Sundays starting today.
-
And so I really want to encourage you to make sure you
-
hear you're in attendance of what God wants to say and do in
-
our lives. You understand we started out
-
our this year calling it talking about the reigning spirit.
-
We have the reigning spirit. You know it's really kind of
-
it's truth but unfortunately in a lot of believers mouths it's
-
more cliche than it is reality and that is greater is he that's
-
in me than he that's in the world.
-
That's easy to say. It's another thing to yield, I
-
said. It's another thing to yield to
-
that because the Holy Spirit is greater.
-
And when the Holy Spirit's working on behalf of the king,
-
he's going to tell you what the king is saying and how you're
-
supposed to respond. But you've got to do something.
-
Amen. And if you do something, then
-
it'll come to pass. But if you don't, I said, if you
-
don't, he's not going to make it happen.
-
I said it's just not going to happen.
-
Amen. And so we need to learn these
-
things because in the last of the last days, we know there's
-
some trials and tribulations, some troubles are going to come
-
on an accelerated and more powerful level.
-
But we will be ready for it. Amen.
-
And we will be equipped to overcome.
-
Come on, say Amen. So let's receive the engrafted
-
word of God, which is able to save our soul.
-
Amen. You know, as it says in Matthew
-
15. Three, he says, Why do you
-
transgress the commandments of God?
-
For the sake of your traditions? And maybe I'll come back and
-
touch on that a little bit more. But again, we want to know what
-
God's saying, not what we're thinking.
-
Because when we do that, things that change.
-
So if you have your Bibles turn to Genesis chapter one, verse
-
one, we're going to start reading here and we'll go
-
through the whole Bible today. No, I'm just kidding.
-
Amen. This is a.
-
Theater. We used to watch 2 1/2 three
-
hour movies here, so just buckle up.
-
In Genesis chapter one, verse one, it says this In the
-
beginning. God created the heavens and the
-
earth. In the beginning, so before the
-
heavens and the earth, God was. Now, obviously this document we
-
call the Holy Bible is a reference to our beginning, But
-
that doesn't mean there wasn't something before our beginning.
-
All right. But we could say there's God in
-
the beginning. So in the beginning, before the
-
beginning, God was He creates the heavens and the earth.
-
And we understand heavens is plural.
-
It's not just one. So we're not just talking about
-
where He lives and resides. There are more than one heaven.
-
In fact, Paul said this. I knew a man in body or out of
-
body. I do not know.
-
Caught up to the what? 3rd heaven.
-
Which if it's their 3rd heaven, then there must be a first and
-
2nd. And God created all three,
-
right? But then he also created this
-
planet. I said he created this planet.
-
Amen. How did this come to pass?
-
Well, Hebrews elevens threes gives us some insight of how
-
this happens, and it says it this way By faith.
-
Say by faith, come on, say by faith.
-
By faith we understand that the world's were prepared by the
-
word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things which
-
are visible. Now I'm using this scripture in
-
a context that's not contextually in this particular
-
passage. All right.
-
In this particular passage, this word world is not earth, nor is
-
it planet systems. It is how our environment is
-
shaped around us is based upon faith.
-
So he said, by faith we understand that the world's were
-
prepared by the word of God. So the Word of God is
-
interjected inside in society and people's worlds, how they
-
live are functioned by that word, which means they have the
-
capacity to call those things that be not as though they were.
-
We're not limited to what we see now.
-
If we go back to the Book of Beginnings though in Genesis 11,
-
then we have to understand in the beginning God created the
-
heavens and the earth. Verse two says then God said so
-
God speaks according to his word.
-
Now let's go over to Romans chapter 10 verse 17.
-
So we can kind of tie this together.
-
So faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.
-
So we've established this is that faith comes by hearing
-
really period not so much comma but period.
-
Everybody, even the lost, the people cut off from God, have
-
faith. It's just that their faith is
-
based upon what they're hearing, what they're hearing.
-
And, you know, a lot of times we hear by our eyes, we hear by our
-
eyes. You know, somebody come by and
-
they, you know, throw their nose up or they look at you a certain
-
way and all of a sudden you hear that they're miffed at you,
-
aggravated with you, you know, not well with you.
-
And you begin to talk to yourself about them.
-
And they haven't even said anything to you.
-
In fact, most of the time they didn't even know you were even
-
on in the hallway. But we done picked up an offense
-
by our eyes because our eyes heard something, right?
-
So if faith in comes by hearing, he's establishing our hearing.
-
Our hearing should be connected to the word of Christ or the
-
word of the King or the Word of God.
-
That's where we should build our faith from.
-
Our faith could come from God because God's word spoken comes
-
to pass. So in the beginning God created
-
the heavens and the air. So out of nothing God spoke and
-
creation was made. Hebrews again 11/3 gives us the
-
insight that because we were creating the image of God, we
-
were to speak ours into existence as well.
-
How we live, how we function, we can actually have God's realm,
-
this unspeak. If we could pull back the veil
-
into the Spirit, we can pull heaven over into earth because
-
we can create things with our words.
-
God creates with words. And I know I'm not saying
-
anything new unless, you know, you haven't been here very long.
-
But we're going to see some things because I'm going to talk
-
to you about the most powerful thing, period.
-
The most powerful thing, period. Now look at what it says in
-
Jeremiah 112. Jeremiah 112 says.
-
If then the Lord said to me, you have seen well, for I am what?
-
Watching over my, over my what? Over my what word to perform it.
-
So what's the Lord doing? He's watching over his word.
-
What's he watching over? What's he watching over his
-
children, his church, the lost. He's watching over his word to
-
perform it. Look over Isaiah 5511, Isaiah
-
5511, he says. So will my word be, which goes
-
forth from my mouth. It will not.
-
Say, will not. Come on, say, will not.
-
It will not return to me empty, without accomplishing what I
-
desire and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
-
Why, 'cause He's watching over His word to perform it.
-
Why? Because in the beginning God
-
created the heavens and the earth with a word.
-
Let there be and there was. And then God said, let there be,
-
and there was. And then God said, let there be,
-
and there was. And then God said, let there be.
-
So in the thought and imagination of God, He spoke and
-
it came to be and He watched over it to perform it, which
-
means when He spoke, those things happened.
-
That's pretty powerful. Then we go over to John chapter
John 8 chapter mention
-
8, starting at verse 31. He says, So Jesus was saying to
-
those Jews who had believed him. If say, if if you continue in my
-
word, then you are truly disciples of mine and you will
-
what? Know the truth, and the truth
-
will make you free. I said the truth will make you
-
free. That's if you know it.
-
I said that's if you know it. So he says if that's a
-
conditional statement. If you continue in my word.
-
Now what does God do with His word?
-
He watches over it to perform it.
-
When He speaks it, it won't return unto him, boy, but it
-
shall accomplish that which it was set to do, right.
-
So His word is a very powerful thing.
-
In fact, we could almost call it the most powerful thing,
-
couldn't we? We could almost say it's the
-
most powerful thing. But I want you to understand
-
there's something connected to his word and we need to discuss
-
this today. In fact, he goes on.
-
If you drop down to the 51st verse, it says this truly,
-
truly, I say to you if say if, if anyone keeps.
-
My word. He.
-
Will what? He'll never see death.
-
Wow. What a statement that God is
-
watching over to what to perform.
-
But notice in the 31st verse and the 51st verse there's this two
-
letter word called if and if is what's considered a conditional
-
statement, which means if you don't meet the condition, then
-
you don't get what the condition creates.
-
So if if you are my disciple, you'll continue in my word.
-
If you continue my word, then you are a truly a disciple of
-
mine. So if you're not continuing in
-
the Word, you may call yourself a disciple, but God would not.
-
Call you one. Now we know this.
-
Matthew chapter 6 Again Jesus. Now when you pray, pray this
Matthew 6 chapter mention
-
way. Our Father who art in heaven,
-
hallowed be your name, your Kingdom.
-
Your. What your what your what now?
-
What is always done, His word. So his word is His is his will.
-
It's his will. I said it's his will.
-
And God himself doesn't go against his will.
-
That's why he exalts his word even above all of his name.
-
Oh my goodness. But so, with this being said,
-
we're going to have to have a conversation about a doctrine of
-
demons. And here it is.
-
God is in. Now, if you define control
-
properly, you might be able to say that.
-
But if you've been around any believer that's immature in the
-
things of God, you know that literally is meaning to them.
-
That God is literally carving out their path, that they can't
-
deviate from whatever he wants done for them is going to happen
-
regardless of anything because he's in.
-
Even if you get in a car accident, he controlled that
-
because he's trying to teach you something because you understand
-
his ways are higher than your ways and his thoughts are.
-
So they take scripture out of context to justify because the
-
devil takes scripture out of context to help justify his
-
doctrine. Well does God control something?
-
His word, Because his word is his will.
-
Yep. Yet he states in John, If, well,
-
how in the world can you go against?
-
It then. If he's in control, everything.
-
The word control, by definition of the Merriam Webster
-
definition, as far as a verb, means to have power over to
-
exercise, restraining, or directing.
-
Influence over the noun is to act or or an instance of
-
controlling. Have you ever heard that word,
-
man? You're just being controlling.
-
Right. And again, we hear this term,
-
people's receiving this in the definition of they're making me
-
and forcing me. I see nowhere in Scripture that
-
God forces because if God was in total control, well, it's his
-
ways the best. Then why are people going to
-
hell? Which is why a lot of people
-
have fallen away from the faith because they have a hard time
-
siding God's in control with all the sin going on in the world.
-
And if God's all controlling and powerful, why is he letting the
-
devil do what he does? Since you're thinking Because if
-
we're going to understand the reigning spirit and be able to
-
overcome in life, we've got to deal with this thing first, and
-
it's called will power, willpower.
-
Now here's the thing you've got to understand.
-
God's creation has within it a will of its own.
-
I'm going to say that again, God's creation has within it a
-
will of its own, because God is not the only one with a with a
-
will. And God never violates the will
-
of another. God cannot Force One against
-
their will, but only influence. It.
-
But you understand this is happening all.
-
Over the place. My wife influences me all the
-
time concerning what to wear. Yeah, sometimes I come out of
-
that closet feeling like Superman.
-
And she said you better get back in there, Clark Kent, I don't
-
know what you were thinking when you put that together.
-
Now, ultimately she can't control me, right?
-
I remember one time I'm like, I'm wearing it anyway and did
-
and somebody had the audacity on social media to talk about my
-
clothes and my wife came back and said, see, she can't control
-
me, but she can bring influence. But I have the ultimate.
-
Willpower Oh y'all, don't want to hear this.
-
I have the ultimate willpower. I decide whether I'm going to do
-
this or not. And so God has a will, but when
-
there's places, layers within his creation, that has a will as
-
well and he doesn't override it, even if they go against his.
-
We've said this before, but I'm going to say it again.
-
God will let you do anything you want to do, but will hold you
-
accountable to whatever you do to.
-
His will I'm. Going to say that again and let
-
me just say this, it couldn't be any other way.
-
God could not be a God of justice if he didn't give you
-
the free will. To do something else.
-
And he did this in his creation before God even spoke anything,
-
he said. The minute I speak, I'm life.
-
And when I create elements, Heavenly host, we're going to
-
talk about Heavenly host today. We'll talk more about man next
-
week, OK? That he gave them the power of
-
will because the minute he sets the condition of life and if you
-
want to be with him, to truly love him.
-
You have to of your own free will, and God will not violate
-
your will even though He is life and love.
-
This is the most powerful thing. Will is the most powerful thing.
-
This is why Jesus said again said in Matthew he said why do
-
you transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your So
-
you have a saying that you're saying is your will about this
-
concerning God. But God has a saying concerning
-
him, and you've chosen to hear your side, and God didn't stop
-
you. Now that doesn't mean he didn't
-
try to influence you. He didn't try to send his word
-
by you. He didn't try to say, hey, I
-
said before, you lie, fan, choose.
-
But you have to now. Just because God knows his will
-
for your life doesn't mean he's going to be guaranteed you'll
-
you'll do it. The word will means this again
-
to, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the power to
-
control one's own actions and emotions.
-
Mental powers manifested as wishing, desiring, choosing, or
-
intending to determine by an act of choice.
-
Now think about if we drop this will down to a the simplicity.
-
This is why you can't separate will from word.
-
OK, you can't separate will from word because will is the sum
-
total of word and when you are deciding, you're deciding based
-
upon some word. The question is, is the word
-
you're siding with to make it your will, the supreme word and
-
the word that has life? Because God will let you side
-
with whatever word you want to side with.
-
And he even allowed this with heavenly hopes.
-
And he can't stop it because he's a God of justice and mercy
-
and love. And he wants you to love him
-
because you want to love him, not because he's forced you.
-
He stripped you of your ability to choose.
-
Because his way is right, Because his way is, oh man, his
-
way is life. I mean, it's love.
-
It's everything. It's perfection.
-
It's awesome. It's the existence of love and
-
life. It's that we can't even fathom
-
it. It's so awesome we can't even
-
look into the face yet. We can choose another word.
-
That's good. That's why in First Timothy 4/1
-
it says this. But the Spirit explicitly says
-
that in the latter, at the time, some would fall away from the
-
faith. And why did they fall away?
-
Paying attention. This is why I said in
-
Corinthians chapter 10 tells us we are to take every Oh my gosh,
-
because God's like, listen, I at the end of the day it's in your
-
power. I've said my word of delivery
-
but it's in your power. You have the power to take the
-
thought captive, but if you don't, you can have your will
-
but. Ultimately, in the end, it's my
-
will that's going to be done and you really want to side with his
-
will. Because it's the Creator.
-
He knows more about you and for you and better for you than you
-
know about yourself. And I love that word that came
-
up today that you know through the unction of the Spirit, it'd
-
be by all rights, in First Corinthians chapter 12, the gift
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
of prophecy, where the Lord wanted to give you a
-
encouraging, edifying word that God's faithful and that many.
-
If you don't watch out, you're trying to view the things that
-
are happening around you through your own broken mirror, your
-
experiences, instead of, let me just let God define how to
-
handle this deal. How to look at this?
-
How to view this? Let me get my let me yield.
-
Because you understand, you don't put your will on the
-
table. You get your will assigned to
-
his. That's why Jesus said he said,
-
Lord, if there's any way for this cup to pass yet, not mine,
-
because at the end of the day I'm siding, I will side with
-
your will. I will side with your will.
-
So if there's a different will of yours that keeps this thing
-
from happening, it's tell me. Let me know so that I don't have
-
to be separated from you. I don't have to go to the cross.
-
I don't have to bear all this in.
-
But if that's is the only way, if this is life, if this is how
-
redemption must come, then I give my will to your will.
-
And my will becomes your will because your Will's live and I
-
do it with all my heart. No reservations.
-
I'm not holding back. It is all me totally committed
-
to your way of doing it. Because Jesus had the power in
-
the suit to say no. Wow.
-
They're paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines
-
of demons. Even in the heavenly host, a
-
chapter 14. Now again, most scholars believe
-
this action occurred prior to the creation of the earth we're
-
in today. As far as how the earth is
-
functioning today, there are many scholars that believe that
-
this account took place prior to this.
-
But in Isaiah chapter 14 verse 12 it says this all or how you
-
have fallen from heaven. All Star of the Morning, Son of
-
Dawn, you have been cut down to the earth.
-
You have weakened the nations, but you said in your heart.
-
In essence, this is his will. I will ascend to heaven.
-
I will raise my throne above the stars of God.
-
I will sit on the mount of the Assembly in the recesses of the
-
north. I will ascend above the heights
-
of the clouds. I will make myself like the Most
-
High Revelations gives us a little inside of some things
-
that are happening in the realm of the spirit Revelations. 12.
-
Seven through 9 it says. And there was a war in heaven.
-
Michael and his angels raging war with the dragon, and the
-
dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough
-
and there was no longer a place for them in heaven.
-
And the great dragon was thrown down.
-
The serpent of old who was called the devil and Satan who
-
deceives the world, whole world. He was thrown down to the earth
-
and his angels were thrown down with him.
-
Now get this. God creates the heavens and the
-
earth. He is perfection, love, no sin.
-
He said there's no darkness in him.
-
He's not a man that he shall lie.
-
In fact Jesus said when he goes to the God of this world or the
-
tempter of the devil, he said he has no part in me.
-
There's nothing about me that we are connected together.
-
So in God it is life, love, perfection, it's everything.
-
And he creates in his heavenly realm a heavenly host of cherubs
-
and Seraphims and angels and archangels A heavenly host.
-
Yet they had the choice in a realm of perfection before any
-
type of alternative thought manifested.
-
The anointed Cherub himself, because of will, because of
-
willpower, corrupted himself in perfection.
-
I mean, the tempter wasn't tempted.
-
No one's up there tempting him because the minute the Creator
-
creates beyond himself the capacity and free will is to
-
choose an alternative even though it's not written.
-
Now with that being said, I can't tell you what was spoken
-
in that realm. If I was to go with the
-
character of God, that is, that is spoken within the context of
-
the Bible, I might conclude God gave the capacity of choice, and
-
most likely did because we see with another creation that God
-
gave the power of. So there must have been
-
something that took place in the heaven realm to where pride gets
-
lifted up in this anointed cherub and his will was so
-
powerful that God couldn't stop it.
-
Oh y'all, don't want to hear that.
-
Nobody wants to ever hear that. Why?
-
Because we think God is all power.
-
He is according to his word, but he wasn't.
-
He's not all powerful at the point that he can stop someone
-
from not choosing him when he's given them the power to not
-
choose and he gives that choice. This is why she had never have
-
sympathy for the Satan or for any fallen Angel.
-
Are you hearing me? What did Jesus say in Luke
-
10/18? He said.
-
Then he said to them I was watching Satan fall like
-
lightning from heaven. And why does Satan fall?
-
Because God didn't like him. Because God was on a power trip.
-
Because God sits up in the heavens is like, I'm so awesome.
-
I'm so cool. I'm a narcissist.
-
Look at me. No, He's the embodiment of love,
-
right? Well, we go pick on somebody
-
today. See, that's through the fragment
-
of sin that we look at. That when the reality is, as
-
long as you have a will and you always will, then you can always
-
choose. I can't believe that Pastor's
-
controlling my Sundays service at 10:30.
-
I would much rather be here at 11:45.
-
Well, I'm not actually controlling you, am I?
-
Because you made a choice to come within the boundaries that
-
have been set. I'm telling you, if you're
-
hanging your hat on stuff in your life based upon what
-
someone's done to you. The Lord wants to liberate you
-
in this series because the minute you get liberated from
-
that and you realize the power of your will, then it does never
-
matter. 'Cause you can always choose his
-
word. Always.
-
This is what I love about the power of will, that it didn't
-
matter what happened to me, what life, whatever.
-
Even if I was still in the perfect environment, I can
-
choose. I get to choose.
-
What does Jude say? Jude says this, Jude chapter
-
one, which is only one chapter, verses 5 to 6.
-
The Passion says this, he says. I need to remind you, even
-
though you are familiar with it, that the Lord Jesus saved his
-
people out of Egypt, but subsequentially destroyed those
-
who were guilty of unbelief. What we'll talk about this more,
-
I mean, he delivers them, yet because of their will, because
-
of their will, they don't get to the promised land.
-
Verse six, though, is where we want to, you know, focus on
-
because we're talking about the heavenly hosts, he says.
-
In the same way there were heavenly messengers in rebellion
-
who went outside their what rightful domain of authority,
-
and abandoned their appointed realms.
-
God bound them, and everlasting chain is in key, and is keeping
-
them in the dark of dark abyss of the netherworld until the
-
judgment of the great day. Which means then this heavenly
-
host had the willpower to leave what was assigned to them, where
-
life existed. God through His Word, created
-
the boundaries of life for this heavenly host, and the minute
-
they chose to come out, then the effect of His Word concerning
-
going against His Word goes into play.
-
It goes into play because not because God wanted this, not
-
because God desires it, but because the power of will has
-
now made it mandatory. God can't be in sin, so the
-
minute you choose to go against his will cause again sin, simply
-
defined, is disobeying God's word, and God can't be in the
-
presence of that. That's nothing to do.
-
He can't be in darkness. So you choose darkness not
-
because God wants you to choose it, but you choose it.
-
And he'll let you have that choice.
-
But he'll give you the consequence of that choice, that
-
you won't be able to blame God because you always have the
-
power. See, the power of will can
-
overcome any circumstance. It doesn't matter.
-
That we're in a fallen state now.
-
But before we get you to fallen state, let's trickle over a
-
little bit this morning into the realm of man Genesis 126.
-
Come on, you see, in this God is love and life, and every part of
-
His creation wants to be with Him, will be with Him of their
-
own free will and those who do not.
-
Will not of their own free will, and he will not violate their
-
will. He did not do this with the
-
heavenly host, and he certainly will not do this with those
-
created in his image, because at the end of the day for him to be
-
a God of justice. See, it's such an error for us
-
to take this so well. God's in control.
-
He's controlling everything. He won't let this happen, this,
-
that, and the other. You understand.
-
God will not let you be tempted beyond what you're able to
-
handle, which means he will help influence things.
-
But at the end of the day, if you accept the temptations that
-
you are able to handle, then additional temptations are going
-
to show up. So He won't let you be tempted
-
beyond what you're able. Which and what are you able
-
what? He's already empowered you with
-
his will, which is his word, to overcome that thought.
-
But if you don't overcome it, guess what?
-
More temptations are coming and you end up going down the road.
-
He never intended you to be because he gave you the power to
-
overcome it here, but you didn't choose it.
-
You chose to go a different direction.
-
And it's not God's fault. It's your fault for not
-
choosing, because you never lose personal responsibility, even in
-
grace. Grace does not 'cause your will
-
to be exempt. You got into grace because of
-
your will. You received the grace of God
-
because of your will. Why?
-
Because you made a choice by faith to believe God in his
-
word, and that Jesus Christ died and that he rose from the dead.
-
And you called on his name to be Lord of your life, and it caused
-
the grace of God to show up. But when Grace moved in, your
-
will didn't move out. Steal your will, and what's
-
really awesome is Grace actually empowers you to be able to have
-
without issues anymore. He's able to clean up all the
-
broken places. He's able to make the glass
-
completely clear. He's able to pull the veil back.
-
He's able to show you a great clarity.
-
Because he's giving you the teacher on the inside, to say
-
this is my word, this is my will, this is my word, this is
-
my will, Get your will with my will.
-
And there's nothing that'd be impossible with you.
-
But at any time, even in deliverance, you can side with
-
the wrong party. You can side with the wrong
-
party. And that's not God's fault.
-
That's God saying I'm not going to force you.
-
See, there's a day that comes called judgment.
-
He's spoken it. He's spoken it.
-
But you know what else He's spoken how?
-
You don't get it. So when the judgment comes, if
-
it's coming to you, it's not because he didn't give you his
-
word or his will on the matter for you to submit your will to
-
and want it to be your will too, so that when he judges you,
-
he'll say I'm giving you what you wanted.
-
Now you understand. Liars lie then.
-
Oh, Daddy, what I wanted, Lord, he's like, really?
-
Let me just go ahead and show you your heart.
-
Oh my gosh, the Lord knows my heart.
-
You bet he does. This is why Jesus came and
-
started ripping on the will. Are you hearing me?
-
He said. You've heard it said.
-
Thou shalt not commit murder. But I say unto you, you didn't
-
kill the guy, but on the inside you wanted to kill the guy.
-
You wish that you could get away with it.
-
You wanted to do it so bad. If there was any way that you
-
could will it this way, you would have done it.
-
And you rehearsed it in your. Mind 100 times and every time
-
you saw them, you're like, I wish they were dead.
-
Although I won't do it because I'm holy.
-
Are you hearing me? And Genesis 126th?
-
And God said, let us make man in our image according to our
-
likeness. Well, if he's in your image and
-
in his likeness, God has a will. Guess what you have.
-
Yeah, and let them. So what's the will of the
-
Father? For man to rule.
-
Over the fish of the sea, Over the birds of the sky.
-
Over the cattle. Over all the earth.
-
Over every creepy thing that creeps on the earth.
-
God created man in his own image.
-
In the image of God, He created him male and female.
-
He created them, he said. You're like me.
-
You can speak things in existence if you'll just hear
-
what I say. You have your will side with my
-
will. You can speak life.
-
You can call those things that be not as though they were.
-
You can live by faith. The whole world will function at
-
your word according and it will build life.
-
It will build life. It will build life according to
-
your word. It will build life, just like
-
me. But if you choose other, then
-
your words will build death. And out of your own mouth you
-
build death. Because life and death are in
-
the because the tongue is expressing the will of the words
-
you have sided with, that you've kept in constant repetition in
-
your mind. And it wasn't God.
-
I can't believe God put me through this.
-
God ain't put you through nothing.
-
Your will put you through a lot. Are you hearing me now?
-
We live in a sin state, which means people's will can get on
-
you. Are you hearing me?
-
And people can violate you, but you still have your will on how
-
to respond. And nobody can stop that.
-
I can't believe you forgave them.
-
I mean, how could you forgive them for what they did to you?
-
Well, because the Creator of life said his will is to
-
forgive. And he sure forgave me and his
-
will said, well, if I've forgiven you, then you need to
-
forgive. So I'm going to side with him
-
and I'm just going to forget. Now that doesn't mean
-
consequences, but that just means I forgive.
-
I'm not holding this account against you.
-
So really, if we're talking control, you want to know who's
-
in control. Just stare at yourself in the
-
mirror. Just stare at yourself for a
-
while when you're complaining about how things are going down
-
because trials and tribulations are coming.
-
Yeah, they may be outside of what you would have wanted, but
-
yet you can change them. You can turn it what the devil
-
meant for bad. God will empower you to turn it
-
for good. But if you don't stay with his
-
side in the midst of the storm, if you don't take control, then
-
it will ultimately influence you and you will take control of
-
that thought as well and let that thought happen.
-
I refuse to be a puppet to anyone's strings.
-
Amen. Genesis 215 to 17.
-
You've heard us say this says Then God took the man and put
-
him in the garden of Eden and cultivated it and kept it.
-
And the Lord God commanded the man saying, from any tree of the
-
garden you may eat freely, but from the tree of the knowledge
-
of good and evil you shall not eat.
-
From the day you eat, you will, surely I can't tell you how many
-
times I've had people have conversation.
-
Well, if God knew he was going to eat it, why'd he put it there
-
in the 1st place? Because man, God can't know if
-
you love him. God doesn't want anyone with him
-
because he's made them. Yeah.
-
That's good. And the power of choice is what
-
makes you decide you'll be with him.
-
So God having this condition in the guard, in a perfect
-
environment, no sin, no sin. God clean that up.
-
No sin. And yet, man, all he has to do
-
is say I choose to have my will be his will, and I have that
-
power, which means Adam had the power, which is true authority.
-
God really gave him some authority here, the power of his
-
will that God can't control, he can't influence.
-
If that's all we're going to use the word for control with, he
-
can do that. But he cannot make because in
-
the end, do you want it? Then you make the choice to want
-
it. And now you're free.
-
You won't with God. Not 'cause you have to.
-
Then you say, well, that seems kind of bad, though.
-
I mean, I have to really, 'cause if I don't, it's death, OK?
-
I didn't even make sense that you would choose death, because
-
really what you're saying is my idea of life is higher than
-
God's idea of life. So again, now we've just moved
-
down to the simplicity of words. So basically you're saying your
-
way would be actually better than God's way.
-
And you know what? You can do that.
-
But here's the thing. God's way is the highest way
-
because before any of us existed, God, before the
-
heavenly host God, before sin God.
-
So at the end of the day, the argument is, is that you want
-
God to actually submit to you and your will.
-
And God does not yield to any other God, not even his own
-
creation. He doesn't do it.
-
He just lets you choose. And he's giving you.
-
That power. See, This is why we're without
-
excuse. We're with that excuse.
-
We're with that excuse, right? Think about it.
-
You could read the Bible as often as you want.
-
You can pray in the Spirit as often as you want or not.
-
You have the choice. Now I get it.
-
Because again, well, that's not true.
-
I mean, in life, you know, we have to do well.
-
Again, all of you are going to go to work tomorrow and guess
-
who's choosing what time you show up.
-
But you know what? You actually don't have to show
-
up. So they're really not
-
controlling your time. What they're doing is they're
-
saying we have determined that this is success business and
-
this is the type of workers we want.
-
Now of your own free will, you can be a part of that or not.
-
Now, we'll reward you to these levels if you do it our way, but
-
at the end, and any environment that's technically having a
-
forced agenda in one sense you understand, is coming from the
-
devil's side. Because really all the devil is
-
doing is doing everything he can.
-
Because here's the thing. Even if they threw you in prison
-
today and beat you daily and gave you just enough so you
-
could. Survive.
-
You could keep your will intact. You could still love your the
-
ones who beat you. You can still pray for them.
-
They can't break your they may break your body, they may abuse
-
you, they may do, but they can't break you.
-
And you choosing to stay with the nature of God.
-
And God says, I don't care what happens to you, I'll still
-
reward you. And when you take the account of
-
that kind of life, even if it was their whole time on the
-
planet, what will that be compared to Eternity.
-
It's not even like a dust. Yet the majority of humanity is
-
not going to live under that kind of condition.
-
So what we do is we take extremes to try to justify our
-
will and how we're doing it, how we want God to associate with
-
us. And you know what?
-
And God won't stop you from that thinking, although that thinking
-
will bring death to you, because God has no.
-
Power over your will. He can influence, I'm not
-
saying, and he does trust me, he influences.
-
He's the greatest influencer. In fact, he's the chief
-
influencer because he can influence you with his spirit,
-
with other people. And again, he's given before you
-
live and he's just telling you, choose it, choose it, choose it.
-
But at the end of the day, you have to.
-
You have to choose it. So when people say from the
-
statement God's in control of God's such a loving God, then
-
why is he throwing people in hell?
-
He's not. They choose to go of their own
-
free because your will is always free, even if you're caged.
-
How can the madman of Gadarean who had a legion of demons still
-
be able to find himself when God showed up that they abused his
-
body, controlled him? I mean manipulated Ki mean
-
that's how the devil functioned, yet that willpower of that guy,
-
that human spirit was able to run towards God fall.
-
Down then the other. Started to manifest.
-
Have you come to torment us before our time?
-
And he delivered the man. Are you hearing me?
-
Wow, the power of the human will.
-
So again, God says to him, if you don't eat the fruit, you're
-
going to live forever. If you eat the fruit, you're
-
going to what? You're going to die.
-
So was it God's fault that he put the tree?
-
Because you understand what people do like we holier than
-
God. Well, God should put a tree
-
there. It's your fault.
-
No, no, Genesis 3 one through 5 says now
-
the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the
-
Lord God had made. And he said to the woman,
-
indeed, as God said, has God what?
-
Why does he want to know what God says?
-
Because what God says is his will and his word.
-
You shall not eat from any tree of the garden.
-
But the woman said to the serpent, from the fruit of the
-
tree of the garden we may eat, but from the fruit of the tree
-
which is in the middle of the garden, God said, you shall not
-
eat or touch it, or you will die.
-
And the serpent said to the woman.
-
And the serpent what serpent What said?
-
He's. Trying to control her, which
-
means he's just trying to influence her.
-
'Cause he actually can't control her, it is impossible to
-
control. Her.
-
This is really powerful. Adam and Eve are in the nature
-
of God, and when you're in the nature of God, it's impossible
-
for the enemy to control you. That's why the New Covenant
-
we're in 'cause it's a new and better covenant.
-
We are born in Christ, we are born again.
-
Our spirit man is alive to God, and the Holy Ghost lives on the
-
inside of us and bears witness with our spirit that we're child
-
of God. That's why the Scripture says
-
this. The devil roams around the earth
-
roaring like a lion, seeking whom he can get permission of
-
those who are in covenant whom he may devour Devil has no power
-
over you. If you're in a new covenant,
-
you're born again unless you yield it.
-
And how do you yield it? The same way these before sin
-
ever entered the earth. How did was it abdicated or
-
yielded to him? Through a word, a thought, they
-
align their will to his. Saying.
-
And let me tell you, it's not too opposing.
-
It's not. The devil is the author of
-
death. Death manifests the minute life
-
is spoken. What do I mean by that?
-
The minute you take the alternative.
-
And anyone could have awoken. Caused that to wake up.
-
Could have caused that to wake up OK.
-
Anyone of free will could choose to rebel in the heavenly host
-
realm. It was an only cherub in the
-
human realm. It was Adam.
-
I said it was Adam. So.
-
Sin on the earth is not God's problem.
-
It was willpower, but God has the power of the will.
-
And he says, Nah, I'm going to establish a condition that I'll
-
come myself in the form of a man and get it back.
-
And here's the condition. If they call on my name and they
-
willfully want to stay with me in covenant, the minute they get
-
in covenant and never deviate, then they'll never taste death.
-
The power of will, the power of will.
-
Man ate the fruit and God came down verse 9.
-
Then the Lord God called the man and said, where are?
-
You. And he's still asking that
-
question today, not only of those outside of his Kingdom,
-
but even those in his Kingdom. Where are you?
-
Where are your thoughts right now?
-
What are you entertaining? What are you thinking?
-
What are you allowing to start influencing your willpower?
-
What are you meditating and churning and letting get in your
-
mind? Is it?
-
It is written. It is written.
-
It is written. Or is it?
-
I can't believe they did that. I can't believe that happened.
-
I can't believe our history. That's good.
-
You know, we, I've never been a my whole family.
-
We've never I've. Always had this?
-
Yes, that's good. What are you chewing on?
-
And it will manifest in your willpower cause out of the
-
abundance of the heart and it's what you're meditating on.
-
It's what you keep churning around.
-
And This is why in this covenant we're in.
-
He's like, I know your mind's broken.
-
I know it's all jacked up. I know junks happened to you.
-
But I've given you a willpower to come out.
-
When I brought my word by. And not only did I save you, not
-
only did I give you a new spirit.
-
Not only have I made your spirit alive.
-
I put myself in you. And now, if you'll continue in
-
my word. If you'll take the willpower to
-
continue in my word, my word is going to be truth.
-
It's going to set you free. And you'll be my disciple.
-
And if you'll keep my word, you'll never taste death.
-
But it's you got to get your willpower to be my will.
-
You got to align your will to my will To my will.
-
I don't care that what is God saying?
-
Truly free people are like, doesn't matter.
-
What does the word say? They stole my money.
-
What if they did? That's all right.
-
I got a God in heaven that says he'll supply all my needs
-
according to his riches and glory, and I'm fine.
-
There's not a situation I can't overcome 'cause I have the power
-
to believe God, and you can't stop it, and nobody can stop
-
you. Ain't that amazing that the
-
Creator of heaven and earth has given you the power?
-
To maintain your righteousness, to live holy and blameless, To
-
to display the nature of God. If.
-
You'll continue in his word, because his word is his will,
-
and he watches over his word to perform it and will never
-
return. A damn boy, but it shall
-
accomplish that which it was sent to do.
-
Isn't that amazing? Which means if I can have joy in
-
the Holy Ghost, then when my whole world makes me want to
-
cry, I can choose by the power of my own will.
-
To say, I'll just take. Some joy in the Holy Ghost.
-
I can get over in the Spirit. I can pray in the Holy Ghost.
-
I can begin to laugh. In the Spirit, I can begin to
-
build up my most holy faith. But again, if you're talking
-
about what's going on and the problem that's happening and the
-
issues that are going, guess what?
-
Your will is siding with your. And God didn't do that.
-
He sent His word to heal you, to deliver you, to redeem you, to
-
set you free. But you have to choose.
-
It all comes down to this. The personal responsibility to
-
choose because a loving God lets you choose.
-
Period. No excuse, man.
-
How liberating is this? This is I mean if you're because
-
again, right now if you're if you're just thinking on what you
-
want to think on and you're like, yeah, but I feel like I I
-
mean I'm I'm entitled, OK now. I mean now see if you go there,
-
I shoot. I I get it.
-
God can't stop you from going there.
-
I mean if you want to debate with God about your entitlement
-
or if you want to go over to God's side.
-
I mean, whatever happens, I just go to God's.
-
I'm like, let me just let me get a vision of the cross real
-
quick. Lord, just give me a vision of
-
the cross. I sometimes it's just good to go
-
read the crucifixion again. Why?
-
Because I can say OK. Let me see that crown of thorns
-
on your head. Let me let me imagine right now.
-
Maybe I should just watch the Passion of Christ.
-
And even though that's G rated compared to what really happened
-
to Jesus, let me just imagine as I read these scriptures of them
-
putting a crown of thorns on your head and stripping the
-
flesh off your back. Let me just get this imagination
-
of them taking and punching you in the face and ripping your
-
beard. Let me and taking that staff and
-
punching you in the top of the head.
-
Let me just envision this thing that you laid out in front of
-
everyone completely naked and you're taking on my sin.
-
Let me just imagine. You're doing this willfully so
-
that I can align my will to your will.
-
So before I feel like I have an injustice done before, I feel
-
like, man, there's something here.
-
Let me just take all this real quick.
-
Let me just think on. Let me just meditate on this and
-
let me move. Because at the end of the day,
-
if there's anything out there that ain't right, you're going
-
to deal with that. You're going to vindicate me.
-
You're going to bring vengeance for me.
-
You're going to do those things. You're going to make it right by
-
me. You're going to do these things.
-
You, you, you're. In fact, there are times that
-
the Lord has said just go ahead and bless your enemy, man.
-
It's like, I don't feel like it, but you all going to take your
-
will on this deal. The enemy said walk a mile, I'm
-
a walk 2 with them. They don't deserve for me to
-
walk through. They don't even deserve for me
-
to acknowledge they exist. But I'm a walk two mile because
-
the will of the Father is for me to go 2 miles now and I'm going
-
to go 2 miles because I'm free. I'm free.
-
From what they did, I'm free. From what they did, I'm free.
-
From how they act, I'm free. From this circumstance.
-
I'm free from this situation because he took all that on so I
-
could be free. Free.
-
Indeed, I'm free. My gosh, I'm free.
-
I'm free. I'm free.
-
I'm free to prosper. I'm free to have joy.
-
I'm free to run. I'm free to laugh.
-
I'm free to dance. I'm free to shout.
-
I'm free to overcome my emotions.
-
I'm free. I'm free to act like God.
-
I'm free to be full of life, To be full of joy, To be full of
-
peace. In the midst of the storm.
-
I'm free. You can't stop me from acting
-
like God. From responding like God.
-
From being like God. From having joy like God.
-
From being redeemed. From my past, From having my
-
mind renewed. You can't stop my progression.
-
That's true freedom, I said. That's freedom.
-
You can't stop the crowns that God wants to throw down at me
-
for my reward of being faithful. Can't stop it.
-
I'm free And whom the Son is set.
-
Free Free indeed. Free indeed.
-
Free indeed. Free indeed.
-
Free indeed free indeed. I'm free.
-
I'm free. I'm free.
-
I'm free. I have the power of my own will
-
to get with the will of God and have God's stuff come into my
-
life. Woo man.
-
That's true freedom. That's freedom.
-
That's freedom, yeah. In this life you go have trials
-
and tribulation. Jesus said that, he said.
-
But be of good, for I've overcome the what if that's his
-
will to overcome the world and be happy, Then I'm happy.
-
I choose happy. I choose it 'cause really.
-
Half the stuff that we're choosing to side with isn't even
-
as. Bad as the enemy is puffing it
-
up to be Woo. I'm free.
-
I'm free. Come on.
-
Anybody free in this place? Yeah.
-
God has given you power. Even though you can choose
-
against it. Still your choice.
-
That's why we're out. Excuse.
-
What's awesome is I'm alive to God and I just choose life.
-
I choose life. I choose life.
-
Devil can't stop me. Demons can't stop me.
-
Temptation can't stop me because I want to love God.
-
I want to do His word. I want to live according to His
-
word and His will. I want it to manifest in my
-
life. I want heaven to show up in the.
-
Earth through me and through you and through His church.
-
Wow, what a powerful. How powerful is your will?
-
It determines your destination. God will guide your steps, but
-
will not drag you there, not drag you there.
-
We'll talk more because there's a lot that that.
-
God's in control. It's taken a lot of Scripture
-
out of context that we're going to have to talk about.
-
We're going to talk about. Are you hearing me, Father?
-
We love you and we honor you. We thank you.
-
You're the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
-
We thank you for willpower that you gave creation.
-
So we choose. We choose you.
-
We choose life. We choose you.
-
Oh, we choose you. Whatever head bow and every eye
-
closed. No one's looking around.
-
We're going to do communion here in a second.
-
But in order to have communion, you must be born again, and it's
-
your choice. See, God through the act of
-
Jesus Christ has conquered every wrongdoing and has given an
-
opportunity for you to choose. Look at me real quick.
-
Look at me even if. Jesus is not Lord of your life.
-
And you by your spirit, which is dead and separated from from
-
God, has to sin. It's its nature.
-
Yet your. Willpower is strong enough to
-
tell that dead spirit you're not staying in me any longer.
-
I'm going to accept Jesus. Listen, your dead spirit that
-
cannot go after God, that God at him at his word to speak to you
-
and let you know that Jesus died on the cross.
-
For all your sin, all your wrongdoing, everything you've
-
ever done wrong, whatever, it doesn't matter.
-
God Forgives you. All you got to do is make him
-
supreme in authority, Lord of your life.
-
He will take his blood, apply to your account, He'll make you a
-
new person, and you have the willpower even in as a lost
-
person. To make that choice with all
-
your heart and confess with your mouth.
-
Jesus is Lord, and God will take that spirit according to your
-
will that was dead, snatch it out of you, and put a new one on
-
the inside of you that's alive to God.
-
That's the power you have right now, but it's up to you.
-
Because he will not remove a dead spirit from you if you
-
choose to remain dead, but if you want life, he'll do it now.
-
If you're a believer today, sometimes we choose death.
-
We entertain thoughts that bring division and strife to us.
-
Anxiety and our eyes are being filled and our ears are being
-
filled to support it as the reality of life.
-
But God, I said but God and today if you are believing you
-
say man I know I'm meditating and my will in a particular area
-
is is set against the will of the father.
-
In this situation you can come and repent and get that right.
-
You can turn on a dime. You can become willing because
-
the Bible says it's the willing and which means you can obey
-
without being willing and you don't qualify.
-
That's called manipulating God's word on your condition.
-
And there's plenty of people that keep the word, but on their
-
condition needs to know the willing and the obedient.
-
We eat the good of the land. So whether you're born again and
-
you know there's an area in your life, you need to get under
-
God's will cause your mind is definitely not entertaining his
-
will. Or you've never made Jesus Lord
-
and you want to make Jesus Lord. Today I want you to be bold and
-
step out. I'm calling you out because at
-
the end of the day, it's a great exercise for you to show
-
yourself that my body doesn't control me.
-
They didn't do what I say, and I'm going down and getting right
-
with God. But you got to move.
-
If it's you, whether you're born again and you need to just
-
repent of something, or whether you are not right with God and
-
you want to be born, I got people to my right, left that
-
pray with you because I don't want you taking communion.
-
If you're not right with God, in fact, if you're right with God
-
and there's an issue that you're in right now, you know it.
-
And this is how I know, because the Spirit of truth is here to
-
liberate you. He's here to set you free.
-
And if you know God's word about it, but you're not choosing,
-
that's that's tough. Because when you take communion,
-
you'll start drinking judgment to yourself because you're
-
judging the situation according to how you want it done.
-
It's not what he has said. God is the only righteous judge,
-
and he'll work it out. Make no mistake about it.
-
There's no sin that's not going to be dealt with.
-
There's no situation that's not going to be dealt with.
-
None. I'm going to ask one more time.
-
Definitely not begging because God's worth running to because
-
that's mercy. God's mercy is saying just take
-
my will. Come choose life anyone, law,
-
anyone, law before we take communion.
-
Hallelujah. Well, let's have a seat.
-
If you did not get a communion elements, just lift your hand
-
our. Ushers are going to look around,
-
find you. And give it to you.
-
Amen. Oh my Mama.
-
God has given you the ability to believe him at his word.
-
You can do it with your willpower.
-
Oh, my Mama. You can do it with your
-
willpower. You can do it.
-
You can do it, my Mama. Thank you, Jesus.
-
Do you know there are people in the earth that have not done
-
wrong, but a wrong was done to them?
-
That has happened in prison right now.
-
There are some people in prison right now that did not do what
-
they've been accused, tried and sentenced, but the majority
-
have. The majority have, but how they
-
live on the inside is up to them.
-
In this sanctuary right now, there are people that were in
-
PCI. And you know what they did?
-
They chose to come to service. They didn't have to.
-
They weren't forced. But they made a choice.
-
And then they chose to entertain the words of God and live like
-
God in prison. And then when they got out, they
-
chose to stay with him. And every day they choose.
-
But there's others in that same prison that didn't take the
-
invite because if I had them stand up and say, did you invite
-
anybody to come to service? When?
-
Anchor Face showed up. I'm telling you, it'd be 100%
-
that they'll say I did. Was there some that didn't come?
-
They didn't. So of their own free will, a
-
place that spoke the word rightly divided, and could have
-
set them free. Of their own free will they
-
chose. But when they stand.
-
Before the Lord, the Lord would say.
-
Didn't I send you so and so? Didn't he invite you?
-
You had the power the whole time.
-
It wasn't the system. It wasn't your upbringing, It
-
wasn't your crime. Because even in prison I came to
-
you, there's not a place that God doesn't go to.
-
God was so meticulous with this guys that Romans one tells us.
-
By nature, people know that there's God.
-
Wow. The Bible tells us.
-
In the night in which Jesus was betrayed, he was with his
-
disciples at least eleven of them, because one left to betray
-
him, one took it upon himself to do the will of the devil and
-
betrayed Jesus for money. Yeah, Jesus didn't make him.
-
This is his choice. Even after the miracle signs and
-
wonders, he's still with his own willpower, chose to betray
-
Jesus. But the 11, he said this bread
-
represents my body. It's going to be broken for you
-
because ultimately it's going to enact a covenant of healing in
-
your life so that you can be healthy and whole in my Kingdom,
-
so that your body can stay healthy to house your spirit and
-
my spirit and your soul to fulfill the will of God for your
-
life. And then he raised the cup and
-
said, this cup is my blood. It represents the covenant of
-
and blood where I'm going to shed my blood for the remission
-
of sin. It's going to be the payment to
-
redeem you, because without the shedding of blood, there is no
-
forgiveness. I'm going to take on all your
-
sin. I'm going to take on all your
-
hurt. I'm going to take all on all
-
your injustice. I'm going to take it all on all
-
your problems. And in return, I'm going to give
-
you my righteousness. But you'll have to choose.
-
And so they broke the bread and they ate and they drank the cup.
-
And he says, And often, as you do this, do this in remembrance
-
of me of his death, the ultimate price that Jesus said, not my
-
will, but your will be done. And I'm so glad Jesus sided with
-
the Father, because he's given me life and he set me free.
-
Father, I thank you, Lord, for the communion today, for the
-
bread and for the cup, for the covenant of healing and the
-
covenant of salvation, the covenant of the Kingdom, that we
-
get all the benefits of the Kingdom.
-
That we can have the Kingdom manifest here because you want
-
your will to be done on the earth as it is in heaven and you
-
can't through us because you've given us the power to choose
-
life and we choose it in Jesus name.
-
Break the bread and take it and take the cup
-
if you don't learn anything today.
-
But this, when it comes to humanity, us creating the image
-
of God, is that the devil attacked man when he knew God
-
and was liking the most. He's never satisfied in any
-
covenant that you would side with his will, and he'll always
-
come after you, and he's always going to use things to try to
-
get your will to side with one of his thoughts, even if it
-
means using scripture out of context.
-
That's why doctrines of demons and seducing spirits are going
-
to prevail in the end, because people don't know the word, but
-
it will still be their power that does this.
-
If any thought brings division, you should cast it down, because
-
this is what Jesus is coming back for the Church.
-
And if anything's trying to get you out of the church, know that
-
that is not the voice of God, even if it's using scripture.
