  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. OK, in Luke chapter 12 verse 31

    Luke 12:31–32

  4. to 32 it says this. But seek his Kingdom and these

  5. things will be added to you. Do not be afraid, little flock,

  6. for your father has chosen what gladly to give you the Kingdom.

  7. He's pumped about it, excited, and he's not waiting to give it.

  8. So the Kingdom is not heaven. The kingdom's in heaven and the

  9. kingdom's in earth, but the kingdom's not heaven.

  10. So God has chosen gladly to give you the Kingdom that you can

  11. walk in today. Right.

  12. And it's he's excited to give you this Kingdom because in this

  13. Kingdom is life, love, prosperity all kinds of great

  14. things that are associated with it.

  15. OK. And he says don't be afraid.

  16. So we should have No Fear. Amen.

  17. I I feel like I need to preach a message just kind of came up one

  18. day and I started this thought process.

  19. All the do nots that God said because people act like, well

  20. it's a relationship. It's not it's not about do's and

  21. don'ts. Oh yeah, it is, it is.

  22. He says do not be afraid. So if you're afraid, you're

  23. going against something God said.

  24. He said don't worry. He said do not worry.

  25. So why are you worrying? He said that do not worry.

  26. Hallelujah. So there are some things in the

  27. New Covenant that is they do not.

  28. And that's not that's not legalism, that's called life,

  29. it's called Kingdom life because God wants you in a place that

  30. brings life. One of the greatest causes of

  31. diseases is stress and anxiety and the Lord says don't be

  32. anxious for anything but in all things through prayer and

  33. supplication. So if you're anxious, you're in

  34. a position God told you not to be and under the new covenant

  35. you can function stress free. I'm not saying that it won't

  36. show up at your door knock and ask if it can come in.

  37. You just got to say you're not welcome here because I'm not

  38. going to stress over this because my God, I said, my God,

  39. he's well able. Amen.

  40. So I'm not anxious, not worried, and I'm not afraid because the

  41. Father has chosen gladly to give me the Kingdom.

  42. Amen. Hebrews chapter 12, verse 28

    Hebrews 12:28

  43. goes on and says this. Therefore, since we receive a

  44. Kingdom which cannot be shaken and isn't that amazing?

  45. It cannot be shaken. So again, why would we have

  46. fear? Fear of man, fear of

  47. circumstances of life, fear of anything.

  48. When we have the Kingdom he goes on to say, let us show

  49. gratitude. Because again, when you

  50. understand that you have a Kingdom that can't be shaken and

  51. that God's for you and not against you, and that God will

  52. add things to you as you seek his Kingdom, that everybody else

  53. is running around crazy, full of anxiety and worry, stress,

  54. issues of life, and they just show up at your door because you

  55. seek the king, then you should show gratitude by which we may

  56. offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe.

  57. In fact, I'm just in awe of the things God brings to me because

  58. I just pursue Him. It's amazing and it's a stress

  59. free life. Even when situations show up

  60. that seems stressful, just like, well, the Lord's got it.

  61. What do you need me to say, Lord?

  62. How do you want me to respond? Because I'm in a different

  63. culture. Are you hearing me?

  64. Colossians 113 to 14 says. For he rescued us from the

  65. domain of darkness and transferred us into what?

  66. The Kingdom of his beloved servant?

  67. When did the transfer happen because of kingdom's heaven?

  68. Well then you ain't been transferred 'cause you're still

  69. on the earth. So again, Kingdom's not heaven.

  70. Kingdom is the government of God, where he's the King and the

  71. domain that he overseas is the earth, but specifically those

  72. who've made Jesus Christ his Lord.

  73. Amen. So he's rescued us from the

  74. domain, the authority of darkness, where the devil has

  75. power and authority based upon what he received from Adam.

  76. Although Jesus has stripped him of his authority, he still has

  77. children. I said the devil still has

  78. children. He said.

  79. Wait a minute, I thought we were all God's loving children.

  80. Well, we're not all God's loving children because many are in the

  81. likeness of Adam at the fall. And when Adam fell, he's no

  82. longer in the image of God, for he's lost the spirit and he's

  83. lost his dominion. Because Jesus said to the

  84. religious people you are of your you are like your father, the

  85. devil, and he was talking to humans.

  86. Now, humanity originally was created in the image of God, and

  87. we should always have hope that they can get back in that

  88. position. So we do honor humans and we

  89. always want to have love, believing the best, where you're

  90. like, you know what, they don't have to be like that.

  91. But if I'm honest, if they're not born again, I could say your

  92. daddy's the devil, not gods. But you could change households.

  93. I said you could change households and it's really up to

  94. you. Nothing's stopping if it's you

  95. because Jesus has already paved the way.

  96. And if you'll accept Jesus as Lord, there's a transfer.

  97. Your transfer papers go in. Are you hearing me?

  98. And let me tell you how fast It's a lot faster than the US

  99. government. It will be transfer you so

  100. quick. I mean, it's so fast that your

  101. spirit man that was dead, you don't even see it leave And a

  102. new one gets on the inside of you.

  103. And you're like, I'm in a different house.

  104. I'm of a different species of being.

  105. I'm a new creature in cry. I have a different dad, I have

  106. my daddy back, the one who had me in mind before the foundation

  107. of the world. So again, we see here in

  108. Colossians. It says he rescued us from the

  109. domain of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom

  110. of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness

  111. of sin. So Jesus tells us in Luke to

  112. seek the Kingdom and that the Father is is excited, ecstatic,

  113. full of great joy to give us this Kingdom.

  114. This Kingdom, Hebrews tells us, can't even be shaken.

  115. And we were transferred into this Kingdom the day we got born

  116. again. Which tells us then if we're in

  117. a Kingdom, then we're in a culture.

  118. And there was a culture we were in called the domain of

  119. Darkness. Now we're in a new culture.

  120. In fact, the the in the realm of culture.

  121. Culture is a set of shared attitudes, values, morals and

  122. practices that characterize an organization.

  123. Are you hearing me? It is also culture.

  124. Culture is the behaviors and beliefs characteristic of a

  125. particular social, ethnic or group.

  126. It's moral principles of right and wrong behavior conforming to

  127. a standard. And who's the standard?

  128. Jesus is The word is the standard.

  129. So we have come into the Kingdom of his beloved Son, where Jesus

  130. Christ is king and He is the standard.

  131. So he defines our culture, our behavior, our values, our

  132. morals. We left the domain of darkness

  133. where the devil was defining. That's right, the culture and

  134. his culture is anti God. Whatever.

  135. God says, he wants to do the opposite.

  136. Now here's the thing about that sounds super awesome and bold

  137. and like, whoa, I'm free and I'm rebelling against the standard.

  138. Well, really what you're saying is I'm choosing death all the

  139. time. I'm choosing heartache.

  140. I'm choosing brokenness. I want to stay a victim forever,

  141. but I'm being victimized only because I choose to be, because

  142. Jesus took the prize so that we could come over and be a victor.

  143. So instead of settling where the devil's saying you're a poor,

  144. pitiful thing, in essence he's the one terrorizing you,

  145. promising you everything, and all the while stripping you.

  146. Yeah, the Lord's like I'll free you and have paid the price to

  147. free you. But when you get over here,

  148. there's a set of values. And here's the cool thing.

  149. You could not live these values before you were born again or

  150. born from above. But now that you're born from

  151. above, these values are in you. These behaviors, these mindsets,

  152. they are ever present within your spirit.

  153. And if you'll act on it, you'll have that culture manifest.

  154. Because Jesus said now when you pray, pray this way.

  155. Our Father. Whose Father?

  156. That's your daddy too. And he is your daddy.

  157. If you're born again, our Father, who art in heaven,

  158. hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, your will be

  159. on like it is. So that means what's happening

  160. in heaven can manifest in your life if you'll bring that same

  161. culture. I have heaven on earth in my

  162. immediate life, even though around me is an opposite

  163. culture. Now how do we know this?

  164. What did Jesus say in John chapter 15 verse 19?

    John 15:19

  165. He said if you were of the world, the world will love its

  166. own. But because you are not of the

  167. world but I chose you What? Out of the world because of

  168. this? The world, they hate you.

  169. Now, this word world is not planet Earth.

  170. So again, you can't say if you were of the planet, those on the

  171. planet will love you. But because you're not of the

  172. planet, well, you are of the planet and you're still on the

  173. planet, right. And he said I chose you out of

  174. the planet. Well, we're not out of the

  175. planet. We're in the planet.

  176. So this word world is systems, behaviors, cultures, ways of

  177. living, functioning, behaving, dressing, eating.

  178. The moral, the moral, the morality of how When I say

  179. morality, it's the immorality of how man is outside of God's

  180. Kingdom. And again, I just want to stress

  181. this to you. The Bible says whom the sun sets

  182. what is in OK, now pitch your freedom.

  183. Most people can't although they quote this because the men are

  184. like, well, if I make Jesus the Lord of my life, then my life is

  185. this podium top man I this is all I can do.

  186. I mean this is it. I'm.

  187. I can't. I can't do nothing, you know.

  188. Can't party anymore. I can't.

  189. Da, da, da. All the cants, all the cants of

  190. the, you know, Kingdom of darkness.

  191. And we act like it's way out. It's out here.

  192. It's like all out here. And then we're like stuck in

  193. here. But G said whom?

  194. The sunsets. How are you being out here?

  195. And he frees you from a bigger space and puts you in a confined

  196. space. I mean, when we release people

  197. from prison, we're not releasing them from an open field.

  198. We're releasing them from a confined space.

  199. So the reality is, when you're not born of God, you're in

  200. prison, you're stuck in a confined space.

  201. It gives you the appearance that all these things you can do.

  202. I can sleep with whomever I want to.

  203. Oh, you're stuck in jail. Yeah, Yeah, That's what you are.

  204. All this. I can do whatever I want to.

  205. That's a prison cell called When Jesus sets you for you're out

  206. here. I said you're out here.

  207. And then the things that are free to enjoy that were God

  208. created, where all those things produce life is out here and the

  209. rest of the world is stuck in here.

  210. Now. We're not of this world, which

  211. means we don't behave this way anymore.

  212. But that only comes because we choose to renew our minds to the

  213. word of God. We yield our will to our Lord

  214. because again, to be born again, you must call on the name of the

  215. Lord and you'll be saved. Lord is not a religious word.

  216. It literally means supreme and authority.

  217. So again, when you got born again, you did not.

  218. When you became born again, you did not.

  219. You're not born again just so you can go to heaven, right?

  220. Amen. Amen.

  221. You'll still think away, but you have within you now a spirit who

  222. can hear God and wants to. And the Holy Spirit who now

  223. comes inside bears witness with your spirit, your child of God,

  224. and then will renew your mind. That's why Jesus said repent,

  225. for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.

  226. Now There is some really horrible teaching in the church,

  227. especially in the USA church today.

  228. It's because people don't want to read the whole Bible.

  229. They only want to stay in certain verses and then build

  230. their theology by what we would call cherry picking.

  231. Meaning, you know, I like this. You know, in essence, you go do

  232. what we called a topical study. A topical study is where, like

  233. you take a word like grace, right?

  234. And then you go find all the scriptures that say grace, but

  235. you don't even set them in a context.

  236. Nor do you set the context of God's nature.

  237. When it comes to a word in a context, either.

  238. You just go and pick a few words that have that there, and then

  239. you build your own personal doctrine around it based upon

  240. your personal experience or really how you want God to be

  241. for you. Because what we've done is we've

  242. manipulated this statement and it called he's our personal

  243. saviour to where we made him personally what we want him to

  244. be. Come on, come on, come on.

  245. Because most people's Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.

  246. Now back in the day when I was in high school, there was a

  247. group called Depeche Mode and they had a song called Personal

  248. Jesus, right? And you know what?

  249. There's in the church a lot of personal Jesuses that do not

  250. line up with the Jesus of the Bible.

  251. In essence, I have come to realize more and more when I

  252. hear people talk about God. Like, you know what?

  253. You know, I just think things are meant to, you know, where

  254. you know, things were just meant to be, you know, if it's just

  255. meant to be, you know, I mean his ways are higher than ours.

  256. You know, I I just think, I just think, you know, God would just

  257. work it out. I mean we use these general

  258. statements. You know, he's going to do what

  259. he wants to do. Well, you know what that sounds

  260. like a lot of the idols that are worshipped in other countries

  261. because they can't talk and they don't know.

  262. So they're like having the same hope that they're going to do

  263. something too. And they basically applied

  264. idolatry type worship to Jesus because we don't know what he's

  265. doing and that is not the Jesus of the Bible.

  266. Hallelujah. Now unless you take time every

  267. year to go cover to cover, you're already missing

  268. something. And I'm glad that we go through

  269. the Bible, Genesis 11, to Revelations 2221 every year so

  270. that we can always keep context and discover more and more about

  271. our king. Because the God of the Old

  272. Covenant is not different in the new.

  273. His character's the same. OK, so one of these teachings

  274. that are out there is that you're no longer under the law.

  275. Well, what does that mean? And the problem is people don't

  276. know. Now I'm going to help you out a

  277. little bit because people say, well, we're not under the law

  278. anymore. Well, what does that mean?

  279. Because let's talk about a couple of 10 commandments and

  280. let's ask if they can be violated in the new one.

  281. Under grace, the first commandment is you are to

  282. worship the Lord God and him alone in the new covenant.

  283. Can we worship other gods now? Well, then, how can that be done

  284. away with, right? Come on.

  285. OK, now stay with me. We got there's hard issues here

  286. we going to deal with. All right.

  287. I'm just saying on a surface one of the 10 commandments says

  288. this. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

  289. Is it permissible now under grace, to have multiple

  290. relationships while in marriage? So how can we say we're not

  291. under the law? Thou shalt not covet.

  292. Can we now freely covet under grace?

  293. Thou shalt not steal. Can we now freely determine what

  294. we want to take when we want to take it under grace?

  295. So what does it mean? We're not under the law.

  296. What it literally means, if you read it correctly, is that the

  297. law was given to let man know who was living previous to this,

  298. specifically that they did whatever's right in their own

  299. eyes, 'cause there was nothing telling them what is the

  300. standard. Yet death was still manifesting

  301. because there's a way that seems right to a man, and in the end

  302. is it's death, right? So God wanted to show the world

  303. that he's the king, He made a covenant with a nation and he

  304. says, now if you'll obey these things, then though all the

  305. nations will see you're blessed. But here's the thing.

  306. The law exposed their inability to do it of themselves.

  307. In essence, I can do God's word good enough that God has to

  308. accept me and the law revealed can't do it.

  309. That's why Paul said in Corinthian letter he said I'm

  310. just a wretched God. The thing I don't want to do, I

  311. find myself doing. Now that didn't mean that Paul

  312. was committing adultery and that Paul was stealing, but how did

  313. Jesus come? He said oh, in essence it really

  314. means this. He said.

  315. I didn't come to abolish the law I came to.

  316. Fulfill it, which means tighten it up, right?

  317. And you know I'm not going to show you.

  318. But if I, that means taking my belt and going one more strap.

  319. So in essence, Jesus said this. You've heard the ancient say,

  320. which is his daddy. You've heard the ancient say

  321. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Well, should we commit adultery?

  322. No. But he said, now if you lust

  323. after a woman in your own heart, you've already committed that

  324. sin, which the penalty for that sin is you were to be stoned.

  325. So now all the Pharisees are jacked up because they've had it

  326. in their heart to want to do something although they

  327. physically never did something. So what Jesus does is the law

  328. reveals your heart and your inability because your nature

  329. has been separated from God because of the fall.

  330. And no matter how hard you try to lift his standard in it of

  331. yourself, I can do it, God, I can do it.

  332. That person is dead. Can't do it.

  333. Can't do it. But now that we're in a new and

  334. better covenant, the new and better covenant has actually put

  335. a spirit in us that lives like Jesus.

  336. And Jesus didn't commit adultery, First of all, because

  337. he never got married. Secondly, he did not commit

  338. fornication. He did not sleep with Mary

  339. Magdalene and they have a child. Never happened.

  340. Never happened, OK, He never fornicated.

  341. But even more, he didn't even lust after one.

  342. So when the woman's wiping his feet with her tears, he ain't

  343. thinking, Man, I wish I could get with this lady right here.

  344. Jeez, called. What kind of woman was she?

  345. I said. What kind of woman was she now?

  346. The Pharisees jacked up, You know, the religious guy comes

  347. into the house, He's like, man, if he is a prophet, he know what

  348. kind of woman this is. How come you know what kind of

  349. woman this is? Now?

  350. It could be that she's on the street.

  351. It doesn't take long to figure out somebody's prostituting OK

  352. without lusting after them. However, there's some setups

  353. going on with the Pharisees. We caught this woman in the act.

  354. Well, why were you looking through the window?

  355. And how did you know this was going to occur?

  356. And what were you doing during the ACT before you'd find out?

  357. OK, now let's get her and take her to Jesus.

  358. Go. What was their heart for Jesus?

  359. Let's kill him. Well, what heart's that?

  360. How can you say you love your brother yet you hate your

  361. brother? He said thou shalt not commit

  362. murder. But I say if you hate your

  363. brother, well they definitely hated Jesus.

  364. So that's he says y'all a bunch of murderers.

  365. You should die. So they're freaking out because

  366. they naturally haven't done any of these things.

  367. But she's like you trying to do this with no faith on your own

  368. and thinking God's all pleased with it.

  369. So that's what it means when it says we no longer live according

  370. to the law, but we live now by the Spirit.

  371. What? What does that mean?

  372. We actually do what the Spirit says.

  373. And here's the crazy thing. Romans tells us that we've been

  374. redeemed from the law of sin and death, but we get moved to a

  375. different wall and it's the law of the spirit of life in Christ

  376. Jesus. In fact, another scripture,

  377. which I won't show you today, you can look it up for yourself,

  378. talks about the law of faith and we're supposed to live by faith

  379. that is communicating in the new covenant.

  380. It's a law. Now law's not a bad term because

  381. law's actually a good term because law means legal.

  382. And you want to come before the king legally to be able to say,

  383. now I have a legal right. Law's not not bad when you can

  384. enact it righteously. Paul did this when they grabbed

  385. him one time and they were going to scourge him and he says, so

  386. I'm a Roman. And they freaked out Why 'cause

  387. there's a law that you don't touch a Roman.

  388. Like they already touched him and then they were struggling.

  389. And the one's like, how are you a Roman?

  390. I mean, I paid a lot of money for me to become a citizen of

  391. Rome, he said. Actually, I was born one.

  392. But how did Paul? Because he knew his legal right.

  393. And believers don't know their legal rights in the Kingdom,

  394. which actually propels their faith because they're like God

  395. has to do what he says. Because God will always do what

  396. he says because he's the king and his word will never return

  397. unto him void, but it shall accomplish that which it was

  398. sent to do. And when you have faith that his

  399. word is legal and binding in this covenant, then you're like,

  400. thank God I'm under the law of the spirit of life in Christ

  401. Jesus, that I have a legal right to go to the devil and say you

  402. don't own me. You know how many believers talk

  403. about how the devil's running them down?

  404. Or the devil, She'll put one on me.

  405. Why? He has no legal right.

  406. He has no control over your life, no legal right to you.

  407. Yet we act like he can do whatever, but we're hoping God's

  408. going to step in. God's like stepped in, took care

  409. of it. Waiting for you to come to me

  410. and present your case out like a child of God, out like a child

  411. of king. Begin to begin to decree and

  412. declare a thing. Hallelujah.

  413. So we're we're not of this world.

  414. If we were of this world, it would love us so you understand.

  415. I have peace with the world as far as I can.

  416. I get along with a lot of people in this world that I'm not of.

  417. However, if it comes down to it, I know they actually hate me and

  418. they don't hate just me. They really hate my king, 'cause

  419. that's who I'm serving anyway. And many believers have

  420. compromised because they want to stay friends with the world and

  421. that culture. Yeah, that's right.

  422. Instead of wanting to stay immersed in the culture of the

  423. Kingdom, which Jesus did. That's right, Jesus did.

  424. Jesus never had to compromise his culture in order to win

  425. somebody. That's right.

  426. Here's another little myth. Let's go ahead and destroy real

  427. quick with culture fraud. Get into your laws and that is

  428. people say this. Well, unless you've gone through

  429. what I've gone through, then you really can't help me, 'cause you

  430. don't know. OK, we'll never pray to Jesus

  431. then. Don't ever do it.

  432. Show me where Jesus was. A drug addict strung out on

  433. drugs. Show me where Jesus killed

  434. somebody or or stole from someone or, you know, had a

  435. marriage that fell apart, a relationship that was just

  436. horrible. Show me where Jesus fell out in

  437. the gutter and came back up. It's not there.

  438. You know what qualifies Jesus to be able to speak to you?

  439. He was tempted on every account, but never sinned.

  440. And what we do is we want if we're alcoholic, we only want to

  441. be able to talk to a former alcoholic who used to be strung

  442. out and controlled by alcohol like we were.

  443. Now that they're born again and worshiping God, oh brother, I

  444. can identify. I know we've been in the same

  445. gutter. Oh, praise God, you can help me.

  446. You know what I've been through? Jesus.

  447. Like, I was tempted to get drunk but didn't.

  448. Which means when this one failed and they could fail again, I

  449. never failed. Never did it.

  450. So really, the ones you want to get around or who hadn't blown

  451. it. Now, I'm not saying someone who

  452. has blown it and been forgiven and have come out of it and is

  453. never going to go back, and they're not going back.

  454. Can they help you? Yes, but they're not the most

  455. qualified. They're not the most qualified.

  456. In fact, they're only qualified because God forgave them.

  457. Clean them up. Come on.

  458. Stripped the junk off. Made them a new person.

  459. Renewed their minds so they don't go back to an old habit.

  460. Because Jesus knew how to never do it.

  461. Ever. As a man anointed of God.

  462. Hallelujah. So because you know, we we're

  463. not of this world, you need to understand that.

  464. And I'm not going to give you every law, OK.

  465. I'm just going to give you a few that we have.

  466. And when I say law, I'm just saying it's a legal right we

  467. have in the Kingdom, OK, things we can tap into.

  468. Now some of the, you understand, the world can tap into some.

  469. If they'll tap into some, then they'll move into some others,

  470. right. Especially this first one.

  471. And it is the law of repentance. You have to change your thinking

  472. when you get into Kingdom. And here's the crazy thing, it's

  473. very crazy to me, is that all of us who pursued a relationship

  474. with Jesus or God trying to, you know, have some kind of peace,

  475. get free from our guilt and shame, all the junk that we did

  476. to try to figure it out, and then only come to a place where

  477. someone tells us that Jesus Christ paid the price for us.

  478. He took on all of our sin. That if we would repent, ask

  479. Jesus to be Lord of our lives, ask him to forgive us of our

  480. sins, he would save us, We would become a whole new person.

  481. And we finally, like, threw up our hands, threw up our way of

  482. doing it, says, man, we're just going to go Jesus way.

  483. And then we do that. We're like this is the life and

  484. you know you're different and you know you've been set free

  485. and you know the guilt and shame's gone and it's amazing.

  486. However and and you did everything your mind could think

  487. then Jesus is like well let me keep changing your thinking.

  488. We're like, no, you need to change yours.

  489. It's like once we get born again, we don't want to change

  490. anything else. Like all of a sudden just

  491. because we're born again, we're instantly perfect in our mind.

  492. The Bible doesn't say that. The Bible says we are to be

  493. renewed in our mind. Your spirit man is not a

  494. remodel. It's a brand new spirit.

  495. The old is evicted from your skin suit.

  496. But when it comes to your mind, it's renovation.

  497. It's renovation. I know about renovation.

  498. Become very proficient at renovation.

  499. Are you hearing me right now? Today, my master bathroom is

  500. looking pretty rough. I have already ripped most of

  501. the walls up down to the studs because I'm fixing to put in new

  502. tile. I'm going to put in my My wife's

  503. going to get a tub downstairs. Hallelujah.

  504. She don't have to go upstairs anymore to take a bath.

  505. She right here, right there in the bedroom.

  506. And then I saw I just got to slide my shower over, right?

  507. So now I'm going to have a tub in the shower.

  508. It's not going to be a tub shower, It's going to be a tub

  509. and a shower, which means I don't have to drain for that.

  510. So I'm doing a remodel. So I got to cut down into the

  511. foundation because I can move a a water head pretty easy.

  512. Turn on the water and let it run all over the tile and then

  513. where's it going? Because I have no drain.

  514. So in order for me to get a new drain, I got to get to through

  515. the foundation. I'm remodeled.

  516. I got to tear this thing down only to build it back up.

  517. Are you hearing me? So that has to happen to your

  518. mind once you're born again. It's like beginning.

  519. It's the process. Yet because so many people were

  520. introduced to a Jesus that would only take the Him take them to

  521. heaven, they never deal with their mind.

  522. And that's why their Jesus is more like an idol than it is

  523. like a king At Anchor Bay Church.

  524. We serve the king and he talks Hallelujah.

  525. He speaks to his his brothers and sisters because his Father

  526. is our father, and he lets us know what is ours by birthright.

  527. And we walk in it because what God says he does.

  528. But that's through the law of repentance.

  529. You must change your thinking. Matthew 417 says it this way.

  530. From that this time Jesus began to preach and say what?

  531. Repent, change your thinking. For the Kingdom of heaven is a

  532. ham. The Kingdom is nothing like you

  533. see. In essence, he says you live off

  534. the principle of living by sight.

  535. I have to move, get you to start thinking to live by faith and

  536. not by sight. Because when sight says you

  537. better worry about this, Faith says.

  538. I ain't worried one bit. I don't.

  539. I have heard from Dad. I've heard from the king.

  540. He has given his word on this thing and it's going to be no

  541. other way than what he said. Are you hearing me?

  542. There's another law that we get into.

  543. It's called the law of righteousness.

  544. He makes us righteous. Righteous is not a religious

  545. word. It means right standing with the

  546. governing authority. This is why when the scripture

  547. says he did not call the righteous but sinners to

  548. repentance, well, obviously if you're righteous you don't have

  549. to change your thinking. But how do we read this?

  550. We read this as if somebody is saved or right with God.

  551. What we're saying is not a not a salvation issue.

  552. We're saying if you're thinking is like God, then he don't have

  553. to change it. A Sinner is someone who doesn't

  554. think like God, he says. So I've come to call sinners to

  555. repentance because the the culture they're in will never

  556. allow them to be in the Kingdom. It's not going to happen.

  557. And he lists this. Paul lists this when he writes

  558. the churches, These, this type of lifestyle will never inherit

  559. the Kingdom of God. It's not going to get there.

  560. Not going to happen. Not going to happen.

  561. I don't care how many people say I can be like this and still go

  562. to heaven, It's not going to happen.

  563. Because again, if you're born again, you throw off that.

  564. You renew your mind. You only want to do the will of

  565. God. You change your thinking and you

  566. respond that way. What's it say in Matthew 633?

  567. But seek first his Kingdom and his 'cause.

  568. God's way of doing it is life, and he's bound to what he says.

  569. Oh man. That's why he will exalt his

  570. word, even above all his names. All through the Bible, we will

  571. reach this conclusion. God will do what he says.

  572. He wants everything he's ever created.

  573. No. My integrity is in my word, and

  574. I do it and I do it. I always do it.

  575. Hallelujah. Then there's this other law in

  576. play for the believer, it's called the law of return.

  577. Now this is also for an unbeliever, 'cause this is in

  578. the earth. It's the law of return, or what?

  579. We could say whatever a man sews, this is, this is, this

  580. happens. Look what it says in Galatians

  581. 6-7 and eight. It says do not be deceived.

  582. He's talking to the church now. Don't be deceived.

  583. God is not mocked. What for?

  584. Whatever a man sows this, he will also reap.

  585. Do not be deceived. God is not mocked.

  586. So you can't say I have grace and sow to the flesh and reap of

  587. the spirit. That's right.

  588. You can't do it. You can't do it.

  589. You can't do it. You cannot under grace sow to

  590. the flesh but reap of the spirit, can't do it.

  591. He literally says if you sow of the flesh, you'll reap of the

  592. flesh destruction, but if you sow to the spirit, you'll reap

  593. of the spirit life. Don't be deceived, don't be

  594. deceived. So outside the Kingdom, what

  595. people are sowing to, they're reaping, they're reaping.

  596. And in the Kingdom, whatever you sow to, you're reaping.

  597. Cause here's the thing though, in the Kingdom you have the

  598. ability to sow to the spirit 'cause you are of the spirit

  599. you're born of the spirit. Hallelujah.

  600. And that Good news, see, this is our culture.

  601. He goes on to say this verse 8 For the one who sews to his own

  602. flesh will of the flesh reap corruption.

  603. But the one who sews to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap

  604. eternal life. This is a law.

  605. I'll say This is a law. This takes place.

  606. This is part of our culture, OK? And we do this by faith.

  607. I do this, not my work. I'm like, I believe God, and I

  608. act on that. I'm believing God's word will do

  609. what God's word said. So again, you understand there

  610. is a work we are doing. It's called the work of faith.

  611. James says you're going to tell me you have faith and have no

  612. works. Ha, it's not happening, he said.

  613. Faith without works is dead. Works means corresponding

  614. action. Again, if God says act this way,

  615. even though you don't see it, feel it, you still respond that

  616. way. And it's by faith that that word

  617. will produce what he said. And when you do that, you're

  618. living by faith, but you're acting on that word and it is a

  619. work. It's not a sitting around

  620. waiting. It is a stepping out doing.

  621. That's why James said you got to be a doer of the word and not a

  622. hear only cause those who hear and it's amazing, many believers

  623. will go to church and will hear, but they will not act on

  624. anything they hear. And the Bible says that person

  625. is deceived. A believer deceived.

  626. And that their faith is actually dead, because there's no

  627. corresponding action. None.

  628. We know a word, but we have unbelief, right?

  629. Right. We have fear, whatever else

  630. attached to it. Because we're led by sight.

  631. We're led by our hearing what we hear someone say.

  632. It messes with our emotions. Next thing you know, we're

  633. responding that way. Yet we have a word in our

  634. spirit. Yes.

  635. Come on. And I only sow to the word in my

  636. spirit, not everything else around me.

  637. When I do, it reaps life. You know, there's another law in

  638. play in our culture is called the law of representation.

  639. I feel like I'm a Baptist pastor right now.

  640. I'm throwing all these Rs out the law of representation.

  641. Are you an ambassador? The Bible tells the first.

  642. Paul said this in First Corinthians 11/1.

  643. He said be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.

  644. We are to represent Christ, not ourselves.

  645. Well, if you're going to, first of all, you cannot represent

  646. someone you're not around. OK, Are you ready for this?

  647. Being born again doesn't make you around Jesus being born

  648. again does mean that the Holy Spirit lives in you, but that's

  649. not Jesus, OK, Jesus said, now when he comes, that is the

  650. spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit.

  651. He's going to cause things to come to your remembrance that I

  652. said, he's going to guide you into all truth.

  653. He's going to teach you all things.

  654. He's going to disclose things to come.

  655. He's not going to speak of his own will, but only disclose you.

  656. What I'm saying, in essence, the Holy Spirit is to reveal Christ,

  657. not even himself. That's right.

  658. That's right. So he's a revealer of Christ.

  659. How can the Holy Spirit reveal Christ to you if you're not

  660. around him? We'll say, well, how can I be

  661. around him? He's not in the earth.

  662. He is in the earth. He's in the earth where he first

  663. was, right? We know him as Jesus, as a

  664. person who became flesh. But prior to that, we know John

  665. 11 in the beginning was the the Word, and the Word was with God,

  666. and the Word was God. Then later on, the Word became

  667. flesh. So you want to be around Jesus?

  668. You're going to be in the Word. So you know I, you know it.

  669. To me, it's just like, what's wrong with them?

  670. Oh, I just want to be in the presence of God.

  671. Well, read your Bible. Now, don't get me wrong.

  672. Coming to church, getting in a corporate anointing.

  673. There can be an increase of of of the tangible presence and

  674. glory of God in another form. But He's already present within

  675. you. Do you not sense his presence?

  676. And why are you trying to sense his presence anyway, 'cause if

  677. you're wanting to get in the environment where you feel him

  678. to be closer, then you're actually being led by your

  679. feelings and not by faith now. And there's so many.

  680. Let's get together. Oh, I just want to be in his.

  681. I just want to feel his presence.

  682. I was like, that's going to make you stronger.

  683. Well, you're already weaker in your admission.

  684. You want it because you are wanting to live by a feeling and

  685. not by the fact that the Bible says you are the temple of the

  686. Holy Ghost. You are the temple of the Holy

  687. Ghost. I just wish I could feel God's

  688. presence. Why?

  689. Just look at yourself in the mirror and say I'm the temple of

  690. the Holy Ghost. Hey, Holy Ghost, I know you're

  691. in there. I know you're in there.

  692. I know you're in there, right? I'm going to go talk to Jesus

  693. for a minute, right? And you open up the Bible and

  694. you start reading the word. You're like, wow, talk to me,

  695. Jesus. Come on, talk.

  696. And the Holy Spirit will then reveal Jesus.

  697. Because Jesus, what did he do after his death, burial,

  698. resurrection. He's walking with some people.

  699. They don't realize who he is. They're like, why y'all so

  700. upset? What y'all talking about?

  701. He's like, bro, where you been? What'd you hear about Jesus?

  702. I mean, you the only person around these parts that don't

  703. know what's been going down. Obviously I'm paraphrasing.

  704. So Jesus, you know, go and he starts to explain to them in the

  705. scriptures things concerning himself.

  706. In essence he was revealing himself through the word.

  707. He was explaining to them through the law and shut up

  708. through the law and the prophets himself.

  709. Jesus is dead, risen in his glory and is using the law to

  710. show him and the prophets. Jesus used them after his

  711. resurrection to reveal himself. There's so much to be revealed

  712. about the Christ, but because you only stay in the New

  713. Testament and don't go back to the Old Testament in order to

  714. understand it in light of the New Testament, you're missing

  715. out on your Christ. Because Jesus even went back to

  716. the Law and the prophets to reveal himself, said this was

  717. me, this is me, this is my characters.

  718. What did you see this, what it's going to do?

  719. Spoken about me. Here I am, because the Old

  720. Testament's about a king. Anyway, obviously the Gospels

  721. present to us this king as a suffering servant.

  722. He's the lamb who takes away the sins of the world.

  723. In essence, he's the sacrifice. He's the sacrificial king.

  724. He's the king who dies for the nation.

  725. Instead of having the servants fight for him, he fights for the

  726. servants. He's the Pinnacle King, and he's

  727. the only one who has the royal bloodline to be able to pass it

  728. on. So he dies so that we can come

  729. in. Glory to God.

  730. So if you're going to, if he's going to be your, if you're

  731. going to be an ambassador to Christ, how can you be outside

  732. of reading the word, being a student of the word?

  733. And let me go, I'm going to go a little bit further.

  734. OK? Can I just stretch a little bit

  735. further? This ain't going to hurt Anchor

  736. Faith Church people, but anybody on Spotify right now going to be

  737. listening to me, he's going to have a problem.

  738. But at the end of the day, you act like you want to be around

  739. Jesus. Well then go to church because

  740. Jesus is the head of the church. Well, I don't have to go to

  741. church. Well that's not true.

  742. You're unscriptural. The minute you said that I don't

  743. need a pastor. I got the Holy Ghost.

  744. You're unscriptural. Cause First Corinthians says the

  745. hand can't say to the foot. I don't need you.

  746. You can't say you don't need me. You need the pastor.

  747. You need the pastor. Go ahead and say it.

  748. I need the pastor. Say I need the pastor.

  749. And guess what? I need you.

  750. We're depending upon each other. This is very important.

  751. So get off your high horse horse and just come on in and serve.

  752. Because we need each other. And I'm glad I'm around family

  753. that loves God, loves to serve one another.

  754. Glory to God. Amen.

  755. Amen. We just want to grow, develop,

  756. live for Jesus, serve his 'cause.

  757. We're at this is the embassy in the earth where all the

  758. ambassadors assemble and we've read the word individually, but

  759. then we hear it corporately, and God reveals by spirit because

  760. the fivefold ministry will equip you that you cannot do by

  761. yourself. And then all of a sudden that

  762. equipping takes place. And all of a sudden now we're

  763. scattering all these kings throughout our whole community,

  764. in our state, through our nation, through the world.

  765. And the Kingdom comes because we're doing it.

  766. The law of representation. Last one, is the law of

  767. resource. In this culture, there's a law

  768. of resource, and that is provision, both natural and

  769. supernatural. OK, Philippians 419.

  770. And my God, is he your God? He you know he's not yours by

  771. yourself, though now he's personal.

  772. He's yours. He knows exactly what you need

  773. before you even ask. But he knows what I need before

  774. I ask. He's your God.

  775. My God. But my God will not.

  776. Maybe. Well, I I sure hope God comes

  777. through. Well, that's an idol, Jesus.

  778. I mean, you might as well just go ahead and and get a picture

  779. of Jesus. Put it on the wall and kiss it.

  780. Get it. Put his name.

  781. Kiss it. Put a cross.

  782. Kiss it. Hug it.

  783. It's no different than some other idol, cause the painting's

  784. not talking to you. The cross itself is not speaking

  785. at you. God never intended for us to

  786. make little crosses and worship them.

  787. Crosses were the means of execution in the Roman Empire.

  788. If Jesus was alive today at a time in the US, it would have

  789. been the electric chair. And if that would have been the

  790. case, then we'd have been carrying around electric chairs.

  791. We'd had electric chairs on our platforms.

  792. We'd hung them on top of the, you know, Steeple electric

  793. chair. Now I have no problem with the

  794. cross. It identifies that he had to pay

  795. a price for us. And if that's what it keeps you

  796. in remembrance, so that you then will be always passionate about

  797. serving him because you know the price paid.

  798. But again, the cross to most people we have no context of the

  799. price go. Let me just say it this way.

  800. Most of you don't even understand all that you were

  801. actually damnable for. But Jesus didn't just take yours

  802. on everybody in the room. Everybody in the world

  803. currently, today, everyone who's ever been in the planet that's

  804. not even in the planet he took. Everyone's.

  805. We can't even comprehend what was put on him.

  806. So the cross does not paint the picture.

  807. But we should be less concerned about the cross and more

  808. concerned about the throne and the crown because our king is

  809. actually risen, right? He's risen.

  810. And I really think we should get into a stone rolled away

  811. necklace. More so because he's alive.

  812. I mean why we keep putting our And here's the thing, because

  813. the theology is about keeping you in your sin thought.

  814. We're so accustomed to our sin thought instead sin

  815. consciousness instead of our righteousness consciousness.

  816. Because I'm the child of a king, I've been raised up, and I'm not

  817. even raised up yet, naturally. But the Bible says you've been

  818. raised up and seated. Seated that's past in seated

  819. together with him. In Christ.

  820. I'm already raised up, seated with him.

  821. He is right now physically on a throne that I am spiritually and

  822. in his mind on the same seat. Hallelujah.

  823. And when I understand these rights in this culture that I

  824. live in, then I'll not live this beat down.

  825. Broke down. Oh, sorry.

  826. Me can't wait to go to heaven. Only person.

  827. I mean, I want to go to heaven. Make no mistake about it.

  828. To be absent from the body and be present with the Lord is far

  829. better. I get it.

  830. But at the end of the day I do. Now can pull in heaven in my

  831. life. I can walk in joy.

  832. I talk with God now. I'm not waiting to be with him.

  833. He's in me now. He's with me now.

  834. He's with his church. He's full of power.

  835. His kingdom's advancing. It's never going to not be in

  836. the planet. It's awesome.

  837. I said it's awesome. So my God will supply all your

  838. needs. How many?

  839. So again, these are not just spiritual needs or they're not

  840. just natural needs. I mean, this context obviously

  841. was because he had received an offering from the Philippian

  842. Church. OK, so there is a literal

  843. context of financial provision here, literally.

  844. But he said, my God, we'll supply all your needs according

  845. to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

  846. He'll supply them all. There's not a need you have

  847. that. He won't bring a supply because

  848. there's a law of resource with the king, period, he said.

  849. I'll never leave you nor forsake you.

  850. He also says I won't leave you as an orphan.

  851. Most believers allow the resource to come from the devil

  852. and not Jesus, and they live as orphans.

  853. Well, I just can't wait to get heaven.

  854. And he's like man, I want to bring heaven down to you now.

  855. I'm your daddy. Quit looking to the world.

  856. I'm your daddy. Quit looking to the world.

  857. I'm your daddy. I didn't leave.

  858. I didn't leave. Jesus didn't leave in this

  859. context, he said I'll build my church.

  860. Jesus right here, building this church, in his word, building

  861. this church. That's what Jesus is active

  862. about right now. He said I will build my church

  863. is the church and the earth. Then Jesus is working it.

  864. So from his seat, he's very He is praying for Saints.

  865. He's interceding for us because you're like, get it, Just get

  866. it. Get the revelation, Holy Spirit,

  867. tell him this, Holy Spirit, tell him that.

  868. And here's the thing the Holy Spirit is actually telling us.

  869. The question is, are we just obeying?

  870. Are we allowing the law of repentance to take place time

  871. and time again to renew our minds to the things that are

  872. available to us in His word? And I know I'm using this word

  873. law that sometimes people can have a very hard time with.

  874. But you understand God's obligated, obligated to his own

  875. word. If he says to repent, then he

  876. has to have a pathway to repentance, a way for us to

  877. change our thinking. If he says renew your mind, then

  878. he has must have a pathway of mind renewal.

  879. So we say you have to renew my mind.

  880. Well, the minute I say that the Holy Spirit's like, that's why

  881. I'm in you. I'm the teacher.

  882. I'm the counselor. I'm here to guide you into all

  883. truth. Now when I say it, get rid of

  884. your thinking. Because he also said I'm going

  885. to empower you to take thoughts captive.

  886. Jesus said I've got the supply. You know how many people are not

  887. doing what God's asked because they don't have the resource

  888. yet. The Lord's like, I have it.

  889. Well, give it to me. We'll step out now.

  890. Give it to me now. You're not living by sight.

  891. Step out. Well, give it to me and I'll go.

  892. No, get out and I'll bring it when you need it.

  893. Elijah, your brook dried up. The Ravens still could have

  894. brought food, but he's like. But your water supply's gone, so

  895. I'm sending you to somebody's house now.

  896. What if Elijah would have just sat there?

  897. Come on. Well, bring her to me.

  898. Lord. Have been like starved to death.

  899. Then are you hearing me? Most people's personal Jesus is

  900. made him slave to them. That's right.

  901. Bring me this and bring me that. I'm not doing nothing.

  902. I'm going to sit right here. If you want it, you bring it.

  903. Lord's like I want it for you. Now get up and start.

  904. That's called living by faith. And so he by faith, by faith.

  905. Elijah's like, OK, I'm going to go to this woman's house, he

  906. said to a widow woman he don't even know.

  907. He knows where she's at, but he don't know who she is.

  908. He had to wait to get a perception by the spirit of who

  909. it was. And the one that he locked eyes

  910. on was picking up some twigs. And he's like, this is, it had a

  911. perception in his spirit. This is it.

  912. This is the one, he says, you know, what are you doing?

  913. Well, we I and making a cake for me and my son.

  914. So there she qualified herself as a widow.

  915. She's only with a child. We're going to eat this cake and

  916. then we going to die. The logic could have said, well,

  917. this ain't the right lady because the Lord said she was

  918. going to provide for me and this woman was ready to die.

  919. So I'm going on. But did he let her testimony

  920. change his perception of her that he perceived this as the

  921. one? He said, Well, this is what I

  922. need you to do. Oh, y'all ain't ready for this,

  923. right? That's what I need you.

  924. I need you to make that cake. But you're going to make one for

  925. me first. So instead of doing 2, make 3.

  926. Which means they're going to be a little smaller and make me one

  927. first, serve me, then make one for you and your son.

  928. And if you'll do that, he tells her, then you're never going to

  929. go without food, She could have said.

  930. Aren't you a preacher? All you do is want my money,

  931. because that's what the American Christianity sounds like.

  932. That is selfish and pompous and knows nothing about the Kingdom

  933. of God. Anyway, aren't you glad that she

  934. listened? And she says, I'll put my trust

  935. in that word. And she did.

  936. And he ate. And she ate.

  937. And her son ate. And the next time they got

  938. hungry, Guess what? My gosh, something was still

  939. there. And they ate.

  940. He ate. And she ate.

  941. And the child ate. And she got hungry again.

  942. And guess what? And this happened every day,

  943. every time they were hungry to eat until the famine was over

  944. because they went by word and not by circumstance.

  945. Let's pray, Father. We love you and we honor you.

  946. We thank you. You're the King of Kings and the

  947. Lord of Lords. We thank you for this culture.
