  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Here we are now, beyond 20

  4. years, and the Lord has prepared us with another prophecy for the

  5. Church concerning our reach. And it's not by accident that He

  6. would use branches. For anyone who does construction

  7. or, you know, you just drive around Saint Augustine long

  8. enough or our county, you'll realize a lot of things are

  9. being built. The thing that's that is being

  10. built that we don't see most of the time is what's called the

  11. infrastructure or what's underneath the ground.

  12. When you go in and build a neighborhood, they're going to

  13. come in. They're going to build all the

  14. pipe that's going to run all the sewage and they're going to lay

  15. all the curbs that are going to be able to get water, drainage,

  16. all kinds of things take place, prepare the ground.

  17. All these things take place before the 1st foundation of a

  18. house hits. And then once that hits, there's

  19. the foundational size where they're digging A footer and

  20. they're putting the pipe in all that's underneath the foundation

  21. itself and then the foundation. And once that's laid and it's

  22. cured that they can build and the foundation is designed to

  23. hold a certain amount above it. The larger the the building and

  24. the more weight it is, the stronger the foundation must be.

  25. So we obviously had a 20 year foundation build Hallelujah.

  26. And so that's why the prophecy said all of a sudden there to be

  27. there's some exponential things that will take place.

  28. We are in this. Season of exponential.

  29. Now things don't take place without faith.

  30. Can I just say that things that I will talk about moving forward

  31. from here, nothing is obtained in God's realm without faith,

  32. period. If you come across something

  33. without faith, somebody else's faith brought it to you.

  34. Period. Somebody else's faith.

  35. Brought it to you. The man that was at the pool of

  36. Bethesda, he had no faith, but God did.

  37. Jesus did, and it was Jesus's faith that brought that man up.

  38. Are you hearing me? It wasn't God just did it.

  39. Someone was in faith. Someone was pulling the unseen

  40. realm into the scene realm, pulling heaven into the earth.

  41. If anything good's happened to your life by God, somebody was

  42. in faith that pulled it to you. It doesn't happen by chance.

  43. It happens because faith's here. And let me just say this, it's

  44. so much faith that faith can carry beyond a person's

  45. lifetime. What do I mean by that?

  46. It's not by chance that Joseph's bones leave Egypt.

  47. It's because he said by faith, when you leave, carry my bones.

  48. So that faith statement could go through generations.

  49. And when someone had the thought, you know, we ought to

  50. take Joseph's bones with us now that we're leaving was not a

  51. coincidence. It was because faith was in the

  52. earth to cause it to come to pass.

  53. You may have had a great grandma praying for your generation

  54. right now and some of the blessings and things that are

  55. happening in your life is because of their faith is

  56. pulling it into your life. So you understand God's not

  57. mysterious in the context that he does what he wants to do,

  58. when he wants to do and we have no clue.

  59. No, somebody's active in faith somewhere at some season and

  60. you're benefiting from it now. The cool thing is, is once you

  61. learn how to live by faith yourself, you're not dependent

  62. on someone else's faith. Not only can you use faith for

  63. yourself, but in turn you can then activate your faith for

  64. others. But you understand your faith

  65. doesn't overcome everyone else's obstacles, so faith's required.

  66. In fact, in the prophecy it said that seed we would reap of seed

  67. planted in the earth, not because of what we did, but

  68. because we positioned ourselves as a body.

  69. I surmise that in Saint Augustine, which is considered

  70. the oldest city in our nation. Why?

  71. Because it's the oldest continuous city.

  72. Once it got established, it did not close.

  73. There were cities older than Saint Augustine, but they shut

  74. down even if they were reincorporated.

  75. There was a time it was off with Saint Augustine.

  76. It is the oldest. Because of that, and because of

  77. that, there are things that have happened in this community that

  78. we may be walking in that someone else prayed back in the

  79. 1600s. Somebody else could have been

  80. talking about things. In the end, God has spoken to

  81. both men and women about future events beyond their lifetime.

  82. I mean, we have whole books dedicated to things like Daniel

  83. seeing things beyond his life, John seeing things beyond his

  84. life. Enoch saw things.

  85. And though we don't have tons of recording, here's a little bit

  86. Jude. He saw things beyond his life

  87. that hasn't even occurred yet, yet his faith has spoken it

  88. already. And we're going to walk into

  89. those things. We're going to begin to see in

  90. fact right now some very strong end time events are taking place

  91. because once again Israel is being attacked Hallelujah and as

  92. a result of that we need to pray for Israel.

  93. Some of these things are what's happening in the end.

  94. They've been more attacked now. In fact, this generation is not

  95. going to go before the the Kingdom returns.

  96. And that's those who were born in 1948.

  97. Are you hearing me? So we need to know what time it

  98. is and then we also need to know our season.

  99. And our season is a season of branching.

  100. The branches will go out. We saw this in Isaiah 61 verses

  101. one through 3. If you'll turn your attention

  102. there, I'm just going to read the 1st 3 verses today.

  103. It says this. The Spirit of the Lord is upon

  104. me because the Lord has. Anointed me to bring good news

  105. to the afflicted. He has sent me to bind up the

  106. broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and

  107. freedom to the prisoners, to proclaim the favorable year of

  108. the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort

  109. all who mourn, to grant those who mourn.

  110. Enzyme giving them a Garland instead of ashes.

  111. The oil of gladness instead of mourning the mantle of praise

  112. instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called.

  113. Oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that he.

  114. That he that he may be glorified.

  115. We said last week that this is take that Jesus quotes the

  116. Scripture in the Luke account concerning.

  117. He opened up the Isaiah 61 account of this and began to

  118. read this and said this Scripture has been fulfilled.

  119. Meaning you know he stopped obviously at the favorable year

  120. of the Lord and he said this scripture has been fulfilled in

  121. front of your eyes. But he said the good news will

  122. be preached. Now we went on and showed in

  123. scripture last week that the the good news is the gospel of the

  124. Kingdom. The good news is not isolated to

  125. the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus.

  126. The good news is actually about his Kingdom.

  127. The death, burial, resurrection of Jesus has access to that

  128. Kingdom because you cannot get there any other way.

  129. You must be born of God, and Jesus had to pay the price so

  130. you could become a child of God. Your sin has been paid for

  131. through the blood of Jesus. His assignment was to save you

  132. so he could get you back in the Kingdom and give you dominion

  133. again. He's not.

  134. He did not save you to take you to heaven.

  135. He saved you to bring heaven to earth through your life.

  136. Are you hearing me? And there's always going to be a

  137. heaven on earth, existence, because in the end there'll be a

  138. new heaven and a new earth, and the new Jerusalem will come down

  139. out of heaven to the earth, and God himself will take up

  140. residence on planet earth. Hallelujah.

  141. So with that being said, the gospel that Jesus is preaching

  142. is the good news of the Kingdom of God.

  143. And so that's what we preach here, the Kingdom of God.

  144. It's very important because the Kingdom of God is where life

  145. exists. Jesus is the king.

  146. He sits on the throne. His father sits on the throne.

  147. He sits at the right hand of his father.

  148. And if you're born again, you've been raised up and seated

  149. together with him in Christ. You're in the king.

  150. You are a child of the king. Amen.

  151. You've been delivered, but you also have been appointed and

  152. anointed. Hallelujah.

  153. The same anointing that his own king Jesus has been conferred or

  154. transferred to you. Hallelujah.

  155. And as he is, so are we in this earth.

  156. Jesus didn't walk around depressed, worried, concerned,

  157. nor storing up treasures for himself on the planet.

  158. He wasn't trying to retire. All he was wanting to do was do

  159. the will of his father. And that's all we should want to

  160. do is the will of our father in the power of his spirit.

  161. Are you with me? So are you born again?

  162. If you're born again, then turn over to John chapter 15.

    John 15 chapter mention

  163. John chapter 15. John chapter 15 has some things

John 15 chapter mention John 15 chapter mention

  164. to say about branches. He says this.

  165. I am the true vine and my father is the vine dresser.

  166. Every what is that, Every what, every what Branch in me that

  167. does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that

  168. bears fruit he prunes so that it will bear more fruit.

  169. Jesus says you're already clean because of the word which I've

  170. spoken. You abide in me, and I in you as

  171. the branch. As the branch cannot bear fruit

  172. of itself unless it abides in the bond, so neither can you, so

  173. neither can you, unless you abide in me.

  174. I am the bond. You are the branches.

  175. He who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit.

  176. For apart from me. For apart from me you can do

  177. nothing. No thing, nothing.

  178. Verse six. If anyone does not abide in me,

  179. he is thrown away as a branch and dries up.

  180. They gather them, cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

  181. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you

  182. wish, and it will be done for you.

  183. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit.

  184. So. And.

  185. So prove. To be my disciples, Hallelujah.

  186. Now, there's a lot in this passage scripture.

  187. We may or may not get through it.

  188. Today we'll find out. Hallelujah.

  189. Jesus said, I am the true bond. My father is the vine dresser.

  190. So the Father is the vine dresser because Jesus only does

  191. what the Father says. In essence, the vine can only do

  192. what the what the Father ordained for it to do.

  193. It's within itself to do that. When God spoke things into

  194. creation, they do what they do because it was within the

  195. design. Are you hearing me?

  196. So Jesus said, now I am the true vine, but you understand it's my

  197. Father who was addressing the vine itself.

  198. I am the source, the roots, I'm the foundation, and off of me

  199. are branches. Each branch in and of itself

  200. will bear fruit, or should bear fruit is, let's put it this way,

  201. is expected to bear fruit. God never intended for a person

  202. to be a branch and have no fruit.

  203. In God's Kingdom. He does not see branches alone.

  204. He sees fruitful branches because if all he sees is a

  205. branch. Then an axe is coming.

  206. Oh y'all, don't want to hear this, OK, an axe is coming.

  207. It's cut off. A branch connected to the true

  208. vine is not allowed to suck resource without producing the

  209. life of that resource. Amen.

  210. How many want to do it Jesus's way?

  211. Because Jesus is talking here. OK, just wanted to let me

  212. preface a few things before I go further because I know where

  213. we're going. Amen.

  214. Is Jesus talking? Are these his words?

  215. Is he the word? Does he have the right to define

  216. himself? So it's not our job to convince

  217. Jesus He's not saying what he's saying.

  218. It's our job to renew our thinking to what Jesus is

  219. saying. And Jesus says, now if a branch

  220. shows up on my bond that has no fruit, it's going to get cut

  221. off. Are you hearing me?

  222. So Jesus Never The vine dresser is an inspector and he comes

  223. down his vine because he knows the source is pure.

  224. There's nothing wrong with the root because the root's pure.

  225. The the true vine's pure. Jesus.

  226. But the branches are determining whether or not fruit or fruit

  227. are showing up or not because sources getting out to the

  228. branch to produce fruit. The question is, is the branch

  229. allowing the fruit to occur? If there's fruit in a season,

  230. what's going to happen after the fruit manifests?

  231. We're going to harvest it. The Bible says taste and see

  232. that the Lord is good. See, when people encounter you,

  233. they should taste and see that the Lord is good because your

  234. harvest would look like that. You're giving the fruits of the

  235. spirit away in the way you conduct in life.

  236. When you get in a line and all of a sudden something's going on

  237. and you want to be aggravated, instead, you pull off the fruit

  238. of patience and long-suffering and you feed everybody these

  239. things and then everybody tastes and sees that the Lord is good

  240. through you. And once you give your fruit

  241. away, then there's no more fruit on the branch and the Lord says

  242. that was a good season, Let's go to the next one.

  243. Well, how do you get more fruit in the next season?

  244. You going to get cut if you're coming to church and you're

  245. never getting cut? Oh y'all, don't want to hear

  246. this. If you can sit in a congregation

  247. year after year and never feel the prune.

  248. Hallelujah. Be like man that cut me today.

  249. You should just go ahead and start running and shouting and

  250. dancing instead of crying and whining because many people want

  251. to resist the prune. But then the next season comes

  252. because God never listen. He's not satisfied with a branch

  253. that only bears fruit or bears the same fruit every season.

  254. Hallelujah. I mean, I'm not been planted in

  255. this place for 20 years to not have more fruit, and you're not

  256. my fruit. Just to let you know, how many

  257. people attend this church are not my fruit.

  258. OK, The number of people are not my fruit.

  259. How many people I preach in front are not my fruit?

  260. You can't define my fruit because my fruit's spiritual

  261. Hallelujah. No, I produce my own fruit, and

  262. man, I get cut in seasons upon seasons upon seasons so I can

  263. bear more fruit. Will it ever end?

  264. Nope. Not while I remain in the earth.

  265. But I enjoy it because I know well, if I do that, that's more

  266. fruit. I said that's more fruit.

  267. More people have lost out with God because they will not go

  268. through the pruning season. The pruning season, you run the

  269. risk of bearing no fruit in the next one and then the vine

  270. dresser comes down. It was like, how come there's no

  271. fruit on this branch like last year?

  272. Now you understand he's patient. I'm going to give you another

  273. one. Jesus said No, I don't remember.

  274. If it was a parable in and of itself, I'd have to go back

  275. because it just came to me in the spirit.

  276. He said he the the farmer came and there was a particular tree

  277. bearing no fruit and he says cut the thing down man, just cut it

  278. down. And the servant says hold on a

  279. second, I know it's been 3. Years, Two years or three years,

  280. I can't remember. Now we're off the top of my

  281. head, he said. Whatever the year was, Two or

  282. three, he says. Let me dig a trench around it,

  283. put some fertilizer. Just go one more time if it

  284. doesn't bear fruit. We'll cut it down.

  285. Come on. So you know, the Lord can go

  286. past you in a season, can go past you in a season unfruitful,

  287. and you think that you're all right with God.

  288. He swing through a second season, you doing the same thing

  289. you've always been doing, not bearing any more fruit.

  290. And he's like sums up with that branch.

  291. He come through a third year you up here worshiping act like you

  292. got everything right with God. But he know you know He knows

  293. God knows it all. We only deceive ourselves.

  294. He could pass through and be in a season.

  295. We'll just cut that off that the true vine, say, let's give it

  296. one more. But that doesn't stop the

  297. inevitable if fruit doesn't come because even the the, the

  298. servant doesn't say, God forbid it, let's just keep it, it

  299. produces shade, he said. That thing was not designed to

  300. just produce shade, it was produced designed to produce

  301. fruit. Jesus had a problem with things

  302. that look like they're bearing fruit but aren't.

  303. Jesus himself took care of one tree in particular and did a.

  304. King's decree on it. Well, nobody ever eat figs from

  305. you again. And the next day it was withered

  306. up at his roots. Quit sucking from the resources

  307. if you're not producing fruit. Hallelujah, I said.

  308. Hallelujah. Come on, are y'all with me?

  309. All right. But let me break this down a

  310. little bit, because I need to help you.

  311. Who's the Truvon Jesus? Who are the branches we are?

  312. Every branch is to be in him, In him, I said.

  313. In him means you have. To be attached.

  314. Notice the branch that did not produce fruit was cut off.

  315. It's still a branch, but it's no longer attached.

  316. You can be a branch, but that doesn't mean you're an attached

  317. branch. And there's a difference.

  318. I said there's a difference. We've got to be attached.

  319. Now I'm going to have to expand this a little bit because again,

  320. we try to interpret based upon our own personal preference and

  321. as a result of that we misinterpret many things because

  322. we do not take the Bible in full context.

  323. Are you? Hearing me OK.

  324. Verse five. I am the bind, You are the

  325. branches. He who abides in me, He who

  326. abides in me and I in him he bears much fruit, for apart from

  327. me you can do nothing. I am the bind, you are the

  328. branches. He who abides in me and I in him

  329. he bears much fruit, for apart from me he can do nothing.

  330. Verse 7 If conditional statement.

  331. If you abide in me conditional statement, who's determining

  332. who's abiding you are? So you can't say, Well, you know

  333. the scripture says he'll never leave you nor forsake you.

  334. Well, he'll never leave you nor forsake you.

  335. But you can leave him because number one, we say it's a

  336. relationship no one would consider A1 sided.

  337. One person doing it all and the other doing nothing.

  338. A relationship. Yet we treat Jesus this way.

  339. Well, he did it all. I could do nothing.

  340. I can still do nothing now that I'm saved.

  341. Well that's not what Jesus says. He said you were created for

  342. good works. If you actually read past where

  343. it says you were saved by grace through faith.

  344. It's not your work to please God and tell him, look what I did.

  345. You have to accept me. It is his work that he did that

  346. you accepted that. He said now that you're like me,

  347. now walk like me, do like me, perform like me.

  348. I've got some things prepare for you to walk with me, because

  349. we're going to go labor together.

  350. You cannot find anywhere, even in the old covenant, where God's

  351. doing everything independent of man and man doesn't have some

  352. layer of responsibility. Who brought manna in the

  353. wilderness? God did.

  354. But who had to pick it up if they were going to eat it

  355. doesn't say. God brought manna.

  356. Then the Lord sent angels to pick it up, and while they laid

  357. in their tents, laid down in their tents, waiting for the

  358. angels to come, and they would come and feed them the manna.

  359. We have some more. I mean, this is how we're

  360. treating Jesus. He does everything.

  361. We just sit back. We're no good.

  362. Sorry sinners, man. We just lucky to get in.

  363. We can't do anything. I'm not going to do anything.

  364. God forbid I put forth any effort.

  365. The Lord's like. And I put my spirit in you.

  366. And you go out like you can't do something.

  367. Well, I expect you to do like I did.

  368. I obey Dad. You obey dad.

  369. I follow the spirit. You follow the Spirit.

  370. Amen. No, There's a part we have to

  371. do. And doing is our faith in action

  372. because we trust the word. Come on.

  373. Y'all with me. I am the bond.

  374. You are the branches. He who abides in me and I and

  375. him. He bears much fruit apart from

  376. me. He can do nothing if you abide

  377. in me. Conditional statement, verse 7.

  378. If you abide in me, if you abide in me, now go, he goes.

  379. On verse seven he says, and my notice he doesn't say, and I

  380. abide in you. Here in verse five he says, If

  381. you abide in me and I in him, meaning if you abide in me, and

  382. I abide in you. But Jesus goes on and says, OK,

  383. let me do another qualifier. If you abide in me and my words

  384. abide in you. So He's giving you indication.

  385. How am I abiding in you if you abide in Me?

  386. But how am I abiding in you? It's my words.

  387. Well, why? What's the big deal about His

  388. words? Sure they are, but many people

  389. know His word and have no life. So abiding in His word doesn't

  390. mean that you know His word, 'cause many people by trivia

  391. know the word. So there's something else about

  392. this abiding. This abiding is more than just

  393. being connected. It's about where the source or

  394. the action or the governance or the behavior or the way you do

  395. things. So again, if I'm in you and

  396. you're in me, then my words in you and you're doing my word

  397. correct. Well, what has His word said?

  398. Because for some people, you would think the only thing Jesus

  399. said was accept me as your savior.

  400. That I died on the cross and rose from the grave asked me to

  401. come into your heart so I'll save you, so that when you die

  402. you get to go to heaven and that's all you need to abide.

  403. In because that's all I'm talking about.

  404. But does Jesus say more than just be born again?

  405. Verse 7 If you abide in me and my what's that plural?

  406. There are a lot more words. Jesus gave instruction well

  407. beyond just be born again. In fact, he only communicated

  408. being born again one time in John chapter 3, and that was at

    John 3 chapter mention

  409. 2:00 in the morning. To a religious man, that wasn't

  410. even a public preaching, but he had a lot to say about the

  411. Kingdom of God and what it was like and how you're to behave

  412. and how you're supposed to function, how you're supposed to

  413. live and how you're supposed to move after God and what God's

  414. done for you, but what you're supposed to do for God.

  415. There are many things that he said beyond just being born

  416. again. He made statements like this.

  417. Well, if you're born again and I forgave you, well, then you got

  418. to forgive others. So you can't say, well, I'm born

  419. again. I'm going to heaven when I die,

  420. but I can't forgive this person. Well, then his word doesn't

  421. abide in you. And are we saying that word's

  422. not Is optional? So how can you say you're

  423. bearing fruit and not doing forgiveness?

  424. That's just one example. I believe the word talked about

  425. is being healed. I think the word happened to say

  426. this. Listen, don't even go witness to

  427. nobody till the power comes. There was much instruction that

  428. comes from his word, so there's much we are to do.

  429. Well, what else about Jesus does it say?

  430. It says he. Let's go to Isaiah.

  431. Isaiah 96 says this says the child will be.

  432. Born a son will be given and the government will rest on his on

  433. his what shoulders? There'll be no end to the

  434. increase of his government, which is in his shoulders.

  435. Bible says that Jesus Christ is the head.

  436. And we are his. What are we?

  437. We're His body. And again, a head cut off from

  438. the body is not living. The body is definitely not

  439. living without the head. So the context he's trying to

  440. tell us is that Jesus and his body should be inseparable.

  441. They should abide just like Jesus saying the vine and the

  442. branch should be intimately connected, Paul said.

  443. In Him we live and move and have our being.

  444. But most people are only interpreting this as in Jesus,

  445. or in His word that I read myself when I read it.

  446. Jesus is the head of the body. Well, what's the body?

  447. We are. We are.

  448. But there's another description of the body.

  449. It's His church, so if you're going to bind His word, He has

  450. the word He says. Do not forsake the assembling of

  451. yourselves. Together.

  452. You equally abide by being continually connected to the

  453. church he assigned. You to Now we're gonna get

  454. quiet, OK, That's. Fine.

  455. Everybody wants their personal Jesus.

  456. Let me tell you, he's not just personal.

  457. He's personally aware of you. He personally cares for you.

  458. He personally has a destiny for you, but it's not for yourself.

  459. You've got to go bigger than you.

  460. So it says my words are to abide in you.

  461. And one of my words is you need to connect with a brother.

  462. And in fact, if we were to go back and read this passage of

  463. scripture because I omitted some, I went from 8 and jumped

  464. on down to verse to we're going to jump to verse 16 here in a

  465. minute. But if you read beyond eight, it

  466. starts talking about how you're to love the brother.

  467. Well, you learn about the brethren are your brothers and

  468. sisters in Christ by connecting to His church.

  469. Now this is no problem and really.

  470. I should get a lot more amens right now for everybody who

  471. comes to church all the time. I mean, you should be

  472. championing this concept right now, you know, and don't get

  473. quiet with the ones that are going with the Oh my gosh, OK,

  474. leave that for online people. That's why they're online.

  475. OK, we. Assemble.

  476. Why? Because again, how do you expect

  477. to produce grapefruit and be separated from the church?

  478. Because at the end of the day, you can't talk to me about

  479. church and it be the real church that Jesus is building.

  480. Jesus said I will build. That's right.

  481. Jesus did not say I will come and just save individuals so I

  482. can take him to heaven when I die.

  483. He said Peter upon the rock that I am the Christ, the revelation

  484. that I'm bringing the Kingdom back because the Kingdom of

  485. heaven is at hand. Upon this revelation I will

  486. build my church. It includes people, and he wants

  487. all of us to come into it. But at the end of the day, he

  488. wants us to assemble, He wants us to come together.

  489. He wants us to abide together, and so when he's talking about

  490. I'm the bond, you're the branches.

  491. If a man abides in me, he's equally saying if he abides in

  492. me, because again, you can't really abide in Jesus other than

  493. his word or in his recreation. But then you abide in his church

  494. because he's the head of the church.

  495. You abide there. That means it's a life source,

  496. because if you think you can live outside the church, the

  497. devil's got the first step of deception and is weakening your

  498. fruit. When does a branch tell the vine

  499. or the tree I'll connect with you next week.

  500. Have you ever gone to a forest and seen a branch off the tree

  501. and the next week see the same branch back in the tree?

  502. Like, wow, wasn't wasn't that branch on the ground yesterday?

  503. Oh, it went to church. I don't want to hear this.

  504. Branches come from the source. I mean, we have created

  505. churches. I'm going to use that term very

  506. loose, where we are accommodating.

  507. We had someone want to utilize them all.

  508. They wanted to do some kind of fundraiser, of which I was open

  509. for that, but they wanted a particular individual, a

  510. fictitious character, to show up at the event of which that

  511. fictitious character is not allowed.

  512. To show up at the event, and so I gave them options without the

  513. fictitious character being able to come to the event.

  514. I'm being very general, I know. However, so they write back and

  515. say, well the fictitious character has to come because

  516. the community expects it. And So what we do is we're

  517. building within our churches things to accommodate branches

  518. and say instead of saying you you can't produce unless you're

  519. connected. The vine doesn't come to the

  520. branch. Let me just say this way the

  521. vine didn't come because of you. The vine came because the father

  522. spoke. Let man have dominion.

  523. And so the father said I'm obligated to create a pathway so

  524. man can have dominion. Since I said let man have

  525. dominion, he'll have dominion over the all the things in

  526. Genesis 126. And when Adam fell from

  527. dominion, God said I will bring myself in the form of man to

  528. give a pathway back So my word can come to pass for all the

  529. those who choose. So the obligation to His word

  530. was more powerful than his personal relationship with you.

  531. God does not let personal relationship violate His word,

  532. and He is not compromising what He says Church is How did dead

  533. things tell life how to live? So what's happening is is the

  534. branches are telling the vine what it was, and the fungus and

  535. the disease that's on it is starting to spread to the vine.

  536. Well, the Vine already bore that price once.

  537. Oh y'all, don't want to hear this.

  538. He's not bearing that anymore. He's already done that.

  539. He's like, I'm just a life source now.

  540. We'll talk about this next week, but you were engrafted in.

  541. Why in the world would you want to be cut off?

  542. Or why would you personally allow yourself to be separated?

  543. You want to give a demonstration of how vitally important

  544. branches are. Everybody hold their breath

  545. right now. I'll tell.

  546. You When to breathe. Ready.

  547. Hold your breath. Do it.

  548. Oh, see, you're not. You're laughing.

  549. Hold your breath. You know the world records like

  550. 20 minutes, so we'll see if we can do 21.

  551. OK, once you breathe, raise your hand.

  552. Keep it up. I'm not intimidated by any of

  553. y'all right now. Unless you know that.

  554. Just keep them up. Put them up.

  555. Huh? Yeah, there you go.

  556. Because I'm looking around. Uh huh.

  557. Wow. Keep them up.

  558. Some of y'all keep your hands up.

  559. I got a few over here holding out.

  560. Wow. Y'all y'all must practice at the

  561. House. Oh, there they go.

  562. Because it's husband and wife. That's what I'm saying.

  563. They're like, must sit in the bed at night and go.

  564. Let's see how long we can hold our breath tonight is.

  565. That what y'all do. I can hold it longer than you.

  566. Whoever breathes first has to take care of the kids tonight.

  567. That's what it is. I got it now.

  568. That's how it is. All right, you can put your hand

  569. down. Breathing's important, in fact,

  570. if you to hell long enough for you to past out, right?

  571. We know this. That's how important church is.

  572. But we treat it like it's not. And I understand that hinders

  573. our doctrine because we want to stay American.

  574. We want to pick and choose when we come, what we do, how we do

  575. it. Jump down to verse 16.

  576. John 1516. A little salon moment real

  577. quick. You did not choose me.

  578. That's good. That's.

  579. Good, you did not choose me, but I you didn't come by and say

  580. look at that. Mine.

  581. I think I'll jump on it. That's not how it worked.

  582. No, the bond said. You look pretty dead.

  583. I can give you a life. How about how about you come and

  584. let me in, graft you in right now.

  585. Let me start letting some life flow through you.

  586. This. Is what's so awesome about God.

  587. You can be a rotten, dead, lifeless branch, but God can cut

  588. a piece of you off, which is called self.

  589. That's what lordships about Let's cut self off.

  590. Now I'm going to engraft you in and what seemed like there was

  591. no hope, he resurrects you. Life starts flowing through you.

  592. All of a sudden you're not brittle, brittle, like

  593. everything hurts you. You're easily bruised.

  594. He'll he'll get you hard, full of SAP, Vigor put bark on you.

  595. He'll put you right back in there and then 'cause your fruit

  596. to start showing up. He said you.

  597. I did not. You did not choose me, but I

  598. chose you and appointed you. Now look at this choosing, he

  599. said. Now you didn't choose me, but I

  600. chose you. But I didn't choose you.

  601. Just so you look pretty. You're not supposed to be on the

  602. bond looking pretty. Look at me.

  603. Woo Hoo, wee, that's not you. That's not what God's like, man.

  604. We don't look good. Let's put them in, right.

  605. No. He chose you and appointed you

  606. that you would go. And what?

  607. Bear fruit. The reason you're getting

  608. engrafted in is so fruit production can manifest.

  609. And he's already said earlier, if I come through and fruit

  610. production is not happening, well man, I'll just cut you back

  611. off. He said that you would bear

  612. fruit and that your fruit. Would remain so that whatever

  613. you ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

  614. When we read this scripture, we assume that it becomes obvious

  615. when a branch has no fruit on it, but Jesus does talk about.

  616. When he says no fruit, he's not saying fruitless.

  617. This is why you have to read the Bible in context, because if the

  618. branch does not stay with the. Bond.

  619. It's its source. When you're born again, the Lord

  620. will always instruct you to get to an assembly place.

  621. And here's the thing. In our nation, to have one is

  622. not difficult. But in other.

  623. Nations, when they hear the opportunity to assemble, they

  624. risk their lives. They don't go well in America.

  625. Those just people watching on TV.

  626. Even if when they are not allowed, they look for ways to.

  627. Because in every nation, because in every believer, God says if

  628. you're going to bind the vine, you're going to #1, you're going

  629. to know me, you're going to be in my word, you're going to flow

  630. with my spirit and you're going to be connected to my body.

  631. That's what it means to abide. You cannot abide in His word

  632. without coming to church unless there's not a place to assemble.

  633. But you know, I have found that God has found places.

  634. All over the planet. And at the end of the day,

  635. there's no excuse in the US. So if you want it difficult to

  636. assemble 'cause you hate going to church, then move to the

  637. countries where it's illegal, leave so that you can stand

  638. before your Lord one day and say, you know, I went to that

  639. place, there was no churches there, Lord 'cause you know I'd

  640. have done it. You cannot say you're abiding

  641. and not. Be habitual in the Church

  642. because tree branches that do not bear fruit doesn't mean

  643. they're fruitless. Hallelujah, the same Jesus says

  644. this in Matthew 7, Matthew 7. Just so you'll know, starting in

  645. verse 15, he said. Beware of false prophets who

  646. come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous

  647. wolves. You will know them by their by

  648. their what? By their fruits.

  649. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from

  650. thistles, are they? Verse 17 Every good tree bears

  651. good fruit, but the bad tree bears do.

  652. They both bear fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad

  653. fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

  654. But they both produce fruit. How do you know if one's good or

  655. bad? Every tree that does not bear

  656. good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire.

  657. Let's read that verse together. Every tree that does not bear

  658. good fruit. So that tells me there are trees

  659. that are bearing fruit, but there's a condition that makes

  660. it not good. And if it's bearing fruit that's

  661. not good, it's the same as when the vine said to the branches,

  662. if I come through and you're bearing no fruit, you're cut off

  663. and you're thrown into the fire. Here, bad fruit gets the same

  664. treatment. What's interesting about this

  665. passive scripture is it starts out with false prophets, the

  666. ones that have the illusion that they're right with God, but on

  667. the inside they're full of self-interest.

  668. In essence, they know how to speak things that have the

  669. ability to produce good fruit, but they themselves don't have

  670. the capacity. Are you hearing me?

  671. And this is problematic, especially in our last days.

  672. Look what it says here in Hebrews just to help you out.

  673. In Hebrews chapter 895, verses 13 and 14, it says every for

  674. everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the

  675. word of righteousness. He is an and that's a born again

  676. believer that sits in the place called church that only teaches

  677. elementary principles. You want to know what elementary

  678. principles are? Go on to the next chapter.

  679. It starts in verse one and it tells you that things being

  680. preached that are elementary. That's milk, it's milk, it's

  681. milk. And if all you hear is milk,

  682. then we have a problem with what happens in verse 14.

  683. Verse 14 says, But solid food is for the mature who?

  684. Because of what? Practice, Practice.

  685. What's that mean? That means you're doing what

  686. you're hearing. You just don't hear it.

  687. You actually do it. It says don't get mad.

  688. So you don't get mad. You're in a situation that you

  689. could get mad, but instead you bear the fruit of self-control.

  690. You get in a situation where somebody's wronged you and the

  691. Lord says forgive. So you bear that fruit and then

  692. you treat them like they never blew it, and you bear that

  693. fruit. You're bearing the fruit of

  694. patience. You're bearing the fruit of

  695. kindness. You're getting around people

  696. that are not, that are always getting under your skin, yet you

  697. can constantly keep producing kindness.

  698. That's practice. Who, because of practice, have

  699. their senses trained to what. So if you are not mature, you do

  700. not know what's good or evil. Which tells me this you'll have

  701. a hard time discerning fruit. But the Lord knows fruit.

  702. He knows what's good and what's bad, I said.

  703. He knows what's good and what's bad.

  704. He knows. He knows because there are

  705. branches that are bearing fruit that are not connected to the

  706. bond. It's easy for a person to

  707. disconnect from the church and go do their own thing because

  708. there's plenty in the scripture to let you know what good things

  709. are. Oh, y'all.

  710. OK All right. Let's go on.

  711. Let me give you some more. Matthew, Turn over to Matthew,

    Matthew 19 chapter mention

  712. Chapter 19. Hallelujah.

  713. I mean, because we act like we can exist in the bond, and

  714. church is an option. Like we're really going to

  715. understand the word without the equipping of the Saints.

  716. Because again, I'm all excited about the prophecy of branches.

  717. But you got to understand what a branch is.

  718. So which means I this is who I'm looking for.

  719. This is how I determine whether you're a branch with Anchor

  720. Faith Church or not. You're not a branch.

  721. Well, that's just 'cause you say you are.

  722. Cause the minute I start preaching branches, everybody

  723. thinks they're a branch. But if I don't qualify what a

  724. branch is, they'll leave the church, do their own thing and

  725. say they're connected. Well, what church do you go to?

  726. Well, we don't. All right.

  727. Well, we go to Anchor. Fay.

  728. Well, I hadn't seen you forever. Oh, you know, we're just doing

  729. the work of the Lord and you can go.

  730. How are you doing? A work?

  731. And you're not abiding. Oh, well, me and Jesus were

  732. tight. Well, Jesus gave you a pastor.

  733. He did that. Yeah.

  734. I don't need a pastor. I just have the Holy Ghost.

  735. Well, the Holy Ghost tell you you need a pastor because this

  736. work you have is bigger than you.

  737. Got to identify the branch. Matthew 19 verse 16 says this

    Matthew 19:16

  738. and someone came to him and said teacher, what good?

  739. Thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?

  740. What good thing? And he said to him, Why are you

  741. asking me about what is good? There's only one who is good,

  742. but if you wish to enter into life.

  743. Keep. The commandments then he said to

  744. him. Which ones?

  745. And Jesus said, You shall not commit murder, you shall not

  746. commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false

  747. witness. Honor your father and mother,

  748. and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

  749. And the young man said to him, all these things I have kept,

  750. what am I still lacking? Jesus said to him.

  751. If you wish to be complete, notice what Jesus didn't say.

  752. You've got no. Fruit of that Jesus didn't say

  753. that's not true. You've not done that.

  754. No, he did it. It's how he was doing it,

  755. though. So Jesus says, let me talk to

  756. your trunk because you don't realize your branch ain't

  757. connected to me. Your branch is connected to

  758. another trunk. A different bond.

  759. Now if you want to be complete, since you are trying to, you're

  760. bearing fruit that looks like the fruit off of my branches.

  761. However, it's not actually good. Lest any man should boast

  762. they're fruit. But it's not my fruit, because

  763. it didn't come from, he said. If you want to be complete, go

  764. and sell your possessions, give to the poor, and you'll have

  765. treasures in heaven to come. Follow me.

  766. But when the young man heard this statement, he went away

  767. grieving, for he was one who owned much property.

  768. And Jesus said, Truly, I say to you, it's hard for a rich man to

  769. enter the Kingdom of heaven. What did he realize?

  770. He's cutting me off my tree? That's been my source.

  771. It's what makes my decisions. It's why I've been so

  772. benevolent. It's why I do what I do, and

  773. he's telling me to cut myself off from that and come to him,

  774. he said. Cut that off and let come and

  775. get engrafted to me. Let me sever you off your trunk

  776. and let me bring you into me. Now you need to in order to get

  777. full understanding. Look it over in the Luke Mark

  778. account. Mark chapter 10 verse 17 says

    Mark 10:17

  779. this and he was setting on out on a journey and a man ran up to

  780. him and knelt down before. Him and said, Good teacher, what

  781. shall I do? And to inherit eternal life.

  782. And and Jesus said to him, why do you call me good?

  783. No one is good except God alone. So he's questioning his ability

  784. to determine what's good. OK?

  785. Isn't it amazing? This guy was confident, Good

  786. teacher. What shall I do to inherit

  787. eternal life now? Why does he call Jesus good?

  788. OK. He's calling Jesus good based

  789. upon certain things. Jesus says.

  790. Don't you know that I'm from the If you don't, if you don't

  791. believe that I came from the Father, at least believe what

  792. the works. And what were the works?

  793. It was the fruit of his obedience.

  794. So this guy knew that Jesus was doing something.

  795. He had some connection to God and he was able to determine it

  796. from Jesus's fruits. So he says good teacher because

  797. obviously I'm producing fruit, but I still feel like I'm

  798. lacking or I'm producing fruit and I want you to justify it.

  799. Because this is a question. Could it be that he was being

  800. kind of. I don't know the term for that,

  801. whether that's being ironic or what's the when you're asking

  802. the question without asking the question?

  803. Rhetorical, you know, good teacher, what shall I do to

  804. inherit eternal life? Like surely you're going to say

  805. I got it because all that I've done, right?

  806. Jesus says, why do you call me good?

  807. Only God's good alone. Then He goes, you know the

  808. commandments and he goes through the list, right?

  809. He gets in verse 20. And he said to him, teacher,

  810. I've kept all these things from my youth up.

  811. Looking at him, Jesus fell a love for him and said to him one

  812. thing you lack. So he was moved.

  813. He's like, man, this boy wants to produce fruit so bad, but

  814. everything he produces is bad, is rotten to the core because

  815. it's not connected to me. He's using me, he's using my

  816. word, he's using my methods. He's, but he's not connected to,

  817. you know how many people are born again and using God's word

  818. but are not connected to his church?

  819. They have nothing to do with his church.

  820. They are not connected to a source.

  821. They're not finding where their fit is.

  822. They're not trying to get connected somewhere and get

  823. submitted and get around other brothers and get around a vision

  824. that's bigger than themselves. To change and transform a

  825. community, they don't want to be around a vision.

  826. Now all they want to do is do their own thing.

  827. Their only vision is their only house and their one Jesus.

  828. And and then they're going to read their scripture and do

  829. their personal devotions whenever they want to.

  830. And they're not always producing the fruit.

  831. And then then when they don't produce the fruit in the

  832. highways, in the byways, then you know, they make excuses.

  833. Then they end up coming in misinterpreting God and saying,

  834. you know, that he does different things, that a pastor that's

  835. rightly divine. The word would help clean all

  836. your thinking up so that you wouldn't think like that.

  837. And then you get around a network of people that would

  838. hold you accountable because it's easy to say when no one's

  839. holding you accountable. And you're like, well, I'll just

  840. go to the Lord. Well, you understand you are.

  841. How come you keep going to the Lord when you could actually

  842. elevate beyond that and quit walking in that sin and in that

  843. stronghold all the time because you get around some people to be

  844. in a whole new accountable, like, I'm not going to do that

  845. because it will cost my team, my church, my the actions of my

  846. life reflect bigger than me. See, when you stay isolated,

  847. then you accept. Your own fruit.

  848. That, by all rights, God's saying is bad.

  849. We call it good, but the Lord doesn't.

  850. Oh, you got fruit there, I got it, but it's not in me.

  851. The rich young ruler Jesus, or the word he was doing, wasn't

  852. pulling from the source of who said it.

  853. Who's the branch? The one that's connected, the

  854. one that stays committed, the one that stays submitted, the

  855. one that says my life's not my own.

  856. Yeah. And I think one of the most

  857. exciting things about pastoring and being at this moment now and

  858. hearing what the Lord has said about anchor of a church is to

  859. say, man, there. There are a lot of committed

  860. people and the reason why some of you, your branches are going

  861. to get further out is because unfortunately not enough for

  862. staying connected. You could have reached here, but

  863. because. Someone leaves.

  864. You're going to have to go further and get into the sphere

  865. that was designed for them. Have you ever watched the Live

  866. Oak? How it starts to go out and then

  867. all of a sudden that limit just turn pop out in a different

  868. direction? And the reason it does that is

  869. because it's like this is where God wanted me to affect, but all

  870. of a sudden someone got disconnected.

  871. I'll go over here now to make influence where I never was

  872. designed to, but I'll just keep growing because I stayed with

  873. the source. I'm truly a branch.

  874. I'm not trying to do my own thing.

  875. I'm not trying to build my own name.

  876. I'm not trying to do my own thing without having submission.

  877. You say, well, you're the pastor.

  878. Who are you submitted to Pastor Kenneth Wayne Hagan.

  879. That's my pastor. And when he tells me to do

  880. something, I do it and I'm connected.

  881. And I actually work on stuff for him as well.

  882. I'm not talking casual here, knowing him.

  883. I'm talking about fully engrafted in.

  884. I'm talking about bringing resource.

  885. I'm talking about showing up. I'm talking about speaking out.

  886. I'm talking about bringing other.

  887. I'm talking about he can call and know even though he knows.

  888. I oversee this because this branch reached out from Raima

  889. and took a route right? Here and started to build.

  890. What you don't really understand is that I kind of came out and I

  891. dropped the acorn in Saint Augustine because I never left

  892. Raima and I built a foundation of which my branch gets

  893. engrafted in Hallelujah and I advance Rhema's cause.

  894. Equally as I advance Anchor faith.

  895. Equally because I'm a branch. I bear fruit.
