  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. Well, the Lord is good.

  4. Amen. Say it's.

  5. Say I'm never too tired. Come on, say I'm never too

  6. tired. Say I'm never too tired.

  7. Turn over to Mark chapter 16. Mark chapter 16, y'all, y'all,

Mark 16 chapter mention Mark 16 chapter mention

  8. are you having an expectation for the word today?

  9. Amen. You know preaching is going to

  10. happen. How it impacts you is determined

  11. on your expectation, Amen. And so I encourage you when we

  12. come through verses you've heard before say, ah, something must

  13. be spoken today that I haven't heard yet, Amen.

  14. In fact, the one of the number one reasons why I love to

  15. minister is to discover what I have not yet studied because I

  16. have come to find out in the corporate anointing, OK, that

  17. there are things that you have going on in your life that I'm

  18. unaware of. But when I begin to minister,

  19. God begins to release it for you.

  20. And in the process, I learn and I love.

  21. That. I love to be able to pull things

  22. up because of your hunger, your desire to know the word that all

  23. that I did not know. Now once I say it, man, I

  24. typically get it. I'm like, now I've learned that

  25. man, and I'll be able to say that again, communicate that

  26. again. God will pull that up to my

  27. remembrance again. But initially in the study, it

  28. wasn't there. It wasn't there.

  29. Amen. And God's not obligated to tell

  30. me everything that you need to hear before you get here.

  31. In fact, today at 9:50, I didn't have a scripture down.

  32. In fact, when I did a leadership lesson with the worship team

  33. today, I said, let me show you my sermon.

  34. I showed him a blank piece of paper.

  35. Now why do I say that many times I have scripture long.

  36. In advance, but at the end of the day this.

  37. Is not my church, this is the one Jesus is building and I have

  38. to yield him. And this morning when I had time

  39. to continue to study, I had this impression I should just go and

  40. pray in the Spirit first. Most of the time God will give

  41. me a word, then I pray in the spirit after.

  42. But today it seemed right with me and the Holy Ghost that I

  43. abandoned comfort and just go pray.

  44. So I took off, went down the road, watched the sunrise this

  45. morning, Amen. And as a result of that, I just

  46. trusted God. And then come here, you know,

  47. and here we are going into it and I'm like, man, Lord.

  48. Well, whatever, Amen. You understand it's easy to be

  49. in peace when you know that He's the one that's responsible

  50. because you just cast your care on the Lord.

  51. Amen. People have a hard enough time,

  52. even when they have points to get up in front of people,

  53. right? But at the end of the day, the

  54. Lord has given me something to say to you today, and I do

  55. believe it is for a time such as this, Amen.

  56. In Mark chapter 16 verse 15 to 20 it says this.

    Mark 16:15–20

  57. And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel

  58. to every creature. He who believes and is baptized

  59. will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.

  60. And these signs will follow those who believe in my name.

  61. They will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues,

  62. they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly,

  63. it will by no means hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick,

  64. and they will recover. So then after the Lord had

  65. spoken to them, he was received up into heaven and set down at

  66. the right hand of God, and they went out and preached

  67. everywhere, and the Lord working what?

  68. What? Working what with them and

  69. confirming the word through the accompany signs.

  70. What signs are we talking about that they would cast out devils?

  71. They would speak with new tongues.

  72. If they took up any deadly serpents, or drink any deadly

  73. thing, it would by by no means hurt them.

  74. They would lay hands on the sick and they would recover.

  75. Amen. These signs were accompanying

  76. them. Now the question though that we

  77. need to ask because it is an assumed thought process and we

  78. have learned here at Anchor Fay Church that is an assumption.

  79. But before I get to that thing, I want to go back to verse 18

  80. and or actually verse 17 it says, and these signs will

  81. follow those who believe. Let me ask this question.

  82. Are you a believer? Then if you are a believer,

  83. these signs should follow you, which tells me these signs did

  84. not disappear after the original apostles, so that that teaching

  85. is an error. When people want to act like

  86. that, the moves of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit are not

  87. for the church today. They were only four of the 11

  88. plus Matthias that came in as the 12th one.

  89. However, Paul was not one of the original 12 anyway and he spoke

  90. in tongues more than them all. But then there were tons of

  91. prophets that were actually mentioned in the book of Acts

  92. that were not part of the original 12 that had the ability

  93. to flow in the gifts of the Spirit to the point that even

  94. Agabus tied up and prophesied about a word of wisdom of what

  95. would take place to Paul when he got to Jerusalem.

  96. Not to mention that Paul's letter to the Corinthian church

  97. was on the subject of the gifts of the Spirit of which all the

  98. Saints were functioning in it in such a way that Paul had to

  99. bring it back in order. Are you hearing me?

  100. So are you a believer then? These things are for today,

  101. because the church is still alive today.

  102. I said the church is still alive today.

  103. The church is still alive today. Now why do I stress this?

  104. Because we take verse 15 to preach the gospel as if it's

  105. only a word and not a demonstration.

  106. Because if you accept or if you do not expect the signs to

  107. accompany, then you aren't looking for them to accompany.

  108. All you are doing is releasing a.

  109. Word. God never intended us to go

  110. preach the gospel without a demonstration, at least having

  111. access. Now, what I'm not saying is that

  112. every time you preach the gospel that you have to have a

  113. demonstration. I'm not saying that because

  114. Jesus himself. Preached some things without

  115. demonstrations. Now why did he do that?

  116. Because they wanted just the demonstrations.

  117. So there are people that God knows that he is not there to

  118. give them a demonstration. He's there to give them the word

  119. because they need the word to change their life.

  120. They're looking for the wrong thing.

  121. But for some, they need the accompanying demonstration that

  122. helps them believe so that they can come into the Kingdom.

  123. And God has equipped us to do. This can I get a better Amen

  124. than that? He has equipped us to do this.

  125. We need to have a daily expectation of the supernatural.

  126. Daily, I said. A daily expectation of the

  127. supernatural that there's not a place in life or that we could

  128. encounter in any 24 hour period, that God could not allow an

  129. accompanied sign. In fact, if God is working with

  130. you, then you could have an expectation of an accompany

  131. sign. Because here's the thing, God is

  132. not sending you out without Him. So if you're going out without

  133. Him, then you might want to get out of His.

  134. Field and we'll get to that here in a minute, but verse 15, the

  135. problem is it says go into all the world and preach thee, not a

  136. gospel, but the gospel, the gospel.

  137. Say the gospel. Say the gospel.

  138. The gospel. Not a gospel, not a part of the

  139. gospel, but the gospel. And again we read this and again

  140. you would think that. People would know what the

  141. gospel is. But most people only know part

  142. of it. They only know a door.

  143. They only know an entrance. They don't know the Gospel.

  144. Jesus preached the Gospel and it tells us look at this in Matthew

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  145. Chapter 9 and see if Jesus is not doing what Mark 16 tells us

  146. to do. Look at this.

  147. In Matthew Chapter 9, starting in verse 35, it says this.

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  148. Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in

  149. their synagogue, preaching the what?

  150. But what is the gospel of the? Kingdom not just good news.

  151. He actually didn't preach. Believe I'm going to die and

  152. raise for the dead for your sin. Jesus never preached that.

  153. Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom.

  154. Now let me just stop right here because you know, I already hear

  155. the religious breaks. Hitting.

  156. Him. Hitting.

  157. Did Jesus die on the cross to make payment for our sin?

  158. Absolutely. He is the only way into the

  159. Kingdom. But Jesus preached the Kingdom,

  160. not just his assignment. And this is very important

  161. because most of the time we're only preaching Jesus's

  162. assignment and people are are looking at an assignment and not

  163. looking at what he brought because he completed the

  164. assignment. So he goes on and says this

  165. teaching in their synagogue, preaching the gospel of the

  166. Kingdom. And because he was preaching the

  167. gospel of the Kingdom, what took place and healing every sickness

  168. and every disease among the people, right?

  169. Jesus said, if I cast out a devil with the finger of God,

  170. then you know the Kingdom is here.

  171. Are you hearing me? Jesus was casting out devils,

  172. healing the sick, raising the dead.

  173. Why? Because he preached the gospel

  174. of the Kingdom, he said the Kingdom of heaven is like this

  175. and the Kingdom of God is like that.

  176. He was always saying to the people, let me talk to you about

  177. God's domain or the King's domain, the King's dominion.

  178. Let me talk to you about what you're waiting for.

  179. Let me tell you about this Messiah that you're looking for.

  180. Let me tell you about this Kingdom that you want to get in.

  181. Let me talk to you about the Kingdom that is ever present in

  182. your midst and what you need to do to become a.

  183. Part of it. Are you hearing me?

  184. See at Anchor Fay Church, if you don't watch out, you can get

  185. numb to Kingdom 'cause once again it becomes a word that has

  186. been preached here so often that the minute it starts we

  187. disconnect. However, it is the only thing

  188. that remains. That's like me getting rid of

  189. the name of Jesus. I remember one time someone came

  190. to me and said you don't talk about Jesus much.

  191. I said I talk about Jesus all the time.

  192. He is the king of the Kingdom. Jesus is the King.

  193. Now why is that? Because everyone loves Savior

  194. Jesus, but Lord Jesus is a whole nother ball game.

  195. Because Savior is what Jesus did.

  196. Lord is who He is in the beginning.

  197. We know the Kingdom is about dominion because the Bible's

  198. only about a king, His Kingdom and His royal offspring.

  199. Listen to me. The day is here and upon us that

  200. we cannot get tired. And not everyone knows the

  201. gospel like you know the gospel. And it's very important for you

  202. to be able to recite it and know it and articulate it in a in a

  203. way that when you're around people, you can begin to divulge

  204. the Kingdom because it's the Kingdom that transforms and

  205. changes people's lives. And it's the Kingdom that the

  206. Jesus is bringing back in the first place.

  207. Are you hearing me? So Jesus says verse 36.

  208. But when he saw the multitude, he was moved with compassion for

  209. them, because they were weary and scattered like sheep without

  210. a shepherd. And he says to his disciples,

  211. The harvest is what? Plentiful, but the laborers are.

  212. What are they? Therefore pray the Lord of the

  213. harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

  214. So the laborers are the laborers are the laborers are few.

  215. Now, one reason why the laborers are few is not because there's

  216. not a number of them. We've preached this in the past,

  217. but again, just so you can know, as a review, and for those

  218. who've never been here, obviously we have farmland in

  219. our county. And, you know, at one time, I

  220. don't know that is today, but Hastings was the potato capital

  221. of the world, right? And potatoes are like under the

  222. ground, right, Mr. Berry? I mean, they're like a root

  223. right now. I don't see the potato when it's

  224. in the ground. How in the world does a farmer

  225. know without seeing it that it's ready to pick?

  226. That we're not going to get a little scrawny?

  227. 1 Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  228. How is it that they know when the cabbage head next week is

  229. ready, but not this week? That if we do it this week, it's

  230. too early. How do they know collard greens

  231. are ready when they're ready? Because to an untrained eyes, we

  232. just get out and say, ah, looks good and we can pick the fruit

  233. before it's actually ripe. And if you pick fruit before

  234. it's ripe, if anyone eats it, it is bitter or it doesn't taste as

  235. it was supposed to. And I'm concerned that there are

  236. a lot of people that are out preaching a gospel and are

  237. pulling things off the Lord's harvest before they're ready to

  238. be picked. In fact, we are rushing them

  239. into the sides of the convenience stores or their cars

  240. or whatever. And we say these things like,

  241. where are you going to go with you?

  242. How do you know if you were to die today, where would you go?

  243. And you, you, how do you know that you don't get hit by a car?

  244. And we're like scaring them to make a confession.

  245. And we're like proud of ourselves.

  246. Now, the Bible's very clear. It is highly possible, in fact

  247. it is doable, to confess with your lips and your heart.

  248. Be far from it. For Jesus himself said about the

  249. Pharisees. They confessed me with their

  250. lips, but their heart, which means their confession isn't

  251. actually. Pulling in the results.

  252. And you can labor over someone that you think needs to be

  253. harvested because you've discovered that they would go to

  254. hell if they die today. And you pound so much that they

  255. say, I'll pray with you. And they're really just

  256. confessing. So you will leave them alone.

  257. Then you give them this false sense of.

  258. Security. And now when you die, you're

  259. going to go to heaven. And yet they're not actually in

  260. the Kingdom at all. In fact, Jesus warned the

  261. disciples concerning the Pharisees.

  262. He says, man, they make a proselyte twice the Son of hell.

  263. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Hallelujah.

  264. So. It's his field.

  265. In Mark 16 it says the Lord's laboring with us.

  266. So again, it's not my responsibility to go tell

  267. everyone about Jesus. It's my responsibility to tell

  268. who God tells me to tell people about.

  269. Jesus and to determine how far I communicate because as Paul

  270. clearly said, Apollos planted. I watered but God calls the

  271. increase so your emotional experience and seemingly

  272. concerned that if they died today they would go to hell.

  273. Well, do you think the Lord knows whether they going to die

  274. today? I mean, we put pressure on

  275. people that even God doesn't put pressure, pressure on.

  276. I mean seriously, how many times has the Lord kept you?

  277. That you could look back in your life as sin and you're like,

  278. man, but God, I should be dead. But God, he was.

  279. He was merciful. I mean, he wasn't like, bro, you

  280. better accept me now. No, He's the Lord of the.

  281. He's like, man, if I didn't step in here, they'd be dead today.

  282. But instead I did, 'cause I'm merciful and I got a laborer

  283. coming. I got one that's actually going

  284. to be able to speak to their heart.

  285. Chip away at this hardest stone. Water a little bit.

  286. Plan a little bit. Because I know it's going to be

  287. on this day, we don't have to pressure.

  288. We just have to represent the Kingdom.

  289. And here's the thing, when you understand the Gospels about the

  290. Kingdom, then there's no more pressure.

  291. And you're harvesting no more, because the gospel's not about

  292. where you're going to go when you die, 'cause every religion

  293. is asking that question. And that's not the gospel.

  294. Jesus preached. Jesus was not preaching.

  295. Where are you going to go when you die?

  296. Jesus was. Let the Kingdom come to you now.

  297. Jesus was not preaching. I need you to come to heaven,

  298. Jesus was saying. Now when you pray, pray this

  299. way, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name,

  300. your Kingdom, your will be on. As it is.

  301. He's prayed in John chapter 17. Father, I'm not even asking you

    John 17 chapter mention

  302. to take them out of the world. So let me tell you, King Jesus,

  303. who's seated on the throne right now, is not in a rush to get you

  304. to Him. What He wants is you to fulfill

  305. God's plan for your life while you're here, and He doesn't want

  306. you there any sooner. Because at the end of the day,

  307. he's already giving you enough to thrive.

  308. Because salvation is not about heaven.

  309. Salvation is about becoming a child of God and having God.

  310. If we look at the scripture, you guys know that God always came

  311. down. He always came down, which

  312. brings us to this thought that we've said here for years in

  313. Genesis 126. Then God said, let us make man

  314. in our image according to our likeness and let him have what?

  315. Dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky,

  316. over all the cattle, over every creepy thing that creeps on the

  317. earth, over all the earth. He made both male and female,

  318. they both would have dominion. They're on a planet with no sin.

  319. It's perfect. And God says this, Son, I want

  320. to know that you love me. So in order for me to know you

  321. love me, you are going to stay in obedience.

  322. So here's my thing. You can eat from any tree of the

  323. garden. You can have it all, all this

  324. fruit chores, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

  325. you shall not eat. For the day you eat, you will

  326. surely die. And every time he passed the

  327. tree and did not eat it, he was demonstrating God's love to him.

  328. For Jesus says, if you love me, you will keep my word.

  329. So if the Lord says to him, Adam, you can eat from any tree

  330. of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and

  331. evil, for the day you eat that fruit, you die.

  332. If Adam had never eaten the fruit, where would he be today?

  333. So Adam wasn't walking around looking for heaven because

  334. heaven came to earth. I said heaven came to earth.

  335. And you know, if you actually read the Bible back of the book,

  336. guess what? God's coming to planet earth.

  337. He really loves this place way more than we do.

  338. Our religion has tried to get us out of it, and God's kingdom's

  339. about keeping us in. Now, will you go to heaven when

  340. you die? Sure to be absent from the body?

  341. You'll be what? Present with the Lord?

  342. Where is Jesus presently at? He's in heaven, seated at the

  343. right hand of the Father. He's on a throne.

  344. Thrones are in kingdoms, not in religions.

  345. But is Jesus staying there? He is not.

  346. Is he returning? Yes.

  347. The king is coming, I said. The King's coming, and he will

  348. not come as a suffering servant. He will not come as a lamb to be

  349. slain. He's coming as the reigning king

  350. who has conquered the devil and is going to fully establish his

  351. Kingdom on the earth forever, physically.

  352. Hallelujah. And the And we have the

  353. privilege as sons and daughters of God to function in that

  354. Kingdom now, even in a world fallen from dominion.

  355. Amen. So we preach the gospel Jesus

  356. preaches because the gospel is about the Kingdom of God,

  357. because the Bible was. Always about a king, his Kingdom

  358. and his royal offspring. And Adam was not trying to get

  359. somewhere. Somewhere came to him, but when

  360. Adam did eat the fruit, God had to keep his word because God is

  361. not a man that he should lie. And if he said let man have

  362. dominion, now that Adam has abdicated his throne, given it

  363. to the devil, the Lord says I need man to have a pathway back

  364. so my word can be fulfilled. And so he said, son, you'll have

  365. to go be a man that's legal entrance.

  366. I gave it to a man and he lost he he didn't lose it.

  367. He gave it away. It's.

  368. Going to require a man to take it back, but we can't use his

  369. seed because it's corrupt. So I will put you in a woman by

  370. the Holy Ghost, and you're going to empty yourself and you're

  371. going to be all. Man anointed of the Spirit and

  372. function in the planet. And if you study the miracles

  373. that Jesus performed, they are all within the dominion that the

  374. first Adam lost. Every one of them is the

  375. dominion the first Adam had. And if Jesus has conquered the

  376. devil, and he has, and he has been given all authority and he

  377. can give his authority to us, then guess what we can do in the

  378. earth as well? We conquer the enemy, Amen.

  379. We conquer based upon the our knowledge of God.

  380. Look at this in John chapter 4. Why do I bring all this up?

    John 4 chapter mention

  381. Because we're never too tired. So it came.

  382. So he, this is Jesus, came to the city of Samaria near a

  383. parcel of ground that Jacob had gave to his son Joseph.

  384. And Jacob's well was there. So Jesus, look what it says

  385. about Jesus. Jesus being what wearied by his

  386. journey or from his journey was sitting thus by the well.

  387. It was about the 6th hour. Then came a woman from Samaritan

  388. to draw water. Jesus said to her, give me a

  389. drink. For his disciples had gone away

  390. into the city to buy food. Why are they buying food?

  391. Because Jesus is weary from his journey.

  392. Jesus is the Son of man. He emptied himself of his glory.

  393. He is a man functioning underneath the anointing of God.

  394. And he physically was tired. Jesus got physically tired.

  395. And Jesus was wearied. In essence, he's They know he's

  396. hungry, that's why they're buying him food.

  397. They leave him here. I mean, he's so tired that he

  398. doesn't even go with his. Disciples, you're like y'all, go

  399. ahead. I'm I'm going to stay here.

  400. So it's not just because someone's coming.

  401. In fact, at this point, we don't even know if Jesus technically

  402. knows that she's coming. Yet he could be at the well

  403. simply because he's wearied. I'm tired.

  404. I'm just going to rest. Y'all go get it and I'll be here

  405. when you get. Back then, all of a sudden.

  406. A lady comes, and when this lady shows up, he starts hearing from

  407. heaven. I said.

  408. He starts hearing from heaven. Now what are you going to do

  409. when you start hearing from heaven but you're tired?

  410. I worked all week, I've worked all day, and I have to run down

  411. to the grocery store to get something for our kids.

  412. And now you're in the grocery store and you're tired and all

  413. of a sudden heaven starts talking to you.

  414. You're at the game with your child because he's practicing

  415. and you're like, my gosh, man, I just want to go home.

  416. I mean, seriously, I don't even really know why I have this

  417. child of mine in the soccer because they are horrible.

  418. Come on, parents, just be honest.

  419. You'll get it next week. You're encouraged it.

  420. All right. Maybe you should take piano.

  421. Anyway, the point is, is you're investing in your child there,

  422. and all of a sudden there's another parent and you're weary.

  423. But heaven starts talking. I said Heaven starts talking.

  424. See, I believe most Christians would love for the pastor to

  425. organize the evangelism 'cause then you're only going to be

  426. evangelistic when we have the event.

  427. But this is not how true evangelism works, and this is

  428. not how the harvest works. This is not how God wants to

  429. pull people in the Kingdom. Come on.

  430. Because again, being. Weary.

  431. Is your best moment to be able to get into a place of

  432. sustenance that food cannot do for you?

  433. The problem is if you would take serious laboring in the harvest,

  434. you would find yourself coming out of weariness because many of

  435. us, especially in the realms of Christians, they are going to

  436. vacations. They are taking days off,

  437. they're laying out at the beach, they're going on their boats.

  438. They're disconnecting because I'm tired where I need to.

  439. Yet Jesus will give us insight that you can tap into a place

  440. that those places really won't satisfy you anyway.

  441. I mean, how many people have to have a vacation from your

  442. vacation, especially if you have kids?

  443. We're taking our kids to Disney. Ha, that's fun.

  444. The stand in long lines. Your child's going to want to

  445. cry. You know, you're going to tell

  446. them and you're going to tell the whole you know, Disney

  447. crowd, you know, oh, they're just tired when they're acting

  448. like a crazy one, you know, and screaming and throwing a fit and

  449. pitch off, they're just tired. They're just tired.

  450. Well, then why'd you take them there?

  451. Same in anyway right? I mean we.

  452. Put ourselves in all kinds of things, fun for them.

  453. And that's not even fun for them.

  454. And then you get back here like, wow, that was the most

  455. exhausting vacation we ever had. Amen.

  456. Yeah. You just want to go back to

  457. work. This is why they This is why

  458. during Christmas, they had that one little Christmas song, you

  459. know, where it's like, and. And Mom and Dad are ready for

  460. the kids to go back to school, right?

  461. I mean, we've developed such a society that we're glad when

  462. they're away from us. OK.

  463. Yet these are the times we're supposed to be refreshed.

  464. Well, there's only one place that you can get refreshed.

  465. Truly refreshed. Amen.

  466. I'm not against vacations. Do them.

  467. But as long as you don't vacation from God.

  468. I do more with God on vacation than I do when I'm even here.

  469. Because then I don't have other people pulling on me.

  470. Are you hearing me? So again, he's tired, wearied,

  471. but there here comes a woman and heaven starts talking to him and

  472. he says, would you give me something to drink?

  473. Now this is controversial right out to gay people as you know,

  474. this context of scripture. She's like, wait a minute,

  475. you're a Jew, I'm a Samaritan, You don't even talk to me.

  476. You guys are prejudice, right? You're racist.

  477. Y'all don't talk to me. I mean, here you are going to

  478. carry on. Not only am I Samaritan, I'm a

  479. woman on top of that. Are you hearing me?

  480. Because when the stoppers came back, they're like, he's talking

  481. to a woman, right? So he goes on and and begins to

  482. unveil things. What happens?

  483. Ultimately, Heaven's talking to him.

  484. And in order for her to get over to a place, he has to start

  485. functioning in the gifts. He said, well, go ahead and

  486. bring your husband back. And she's all I don't have a

  487. husband. He says you say correctly, you

  488. don't have have a husband, but you've actually had five.

  489. But the one you would now is definitely not your husband.

  490. And what does she do? I perceive you are a prophet.

  491. Now, let me tell you, this is going to happen guys, the minute

  492. you start talking Kingdom, right?

  493. And what I'm saying is when you let Kingdom influence start

  494. happening in your life. The minute.

  495. They are like, first of all, just debating with you about

  496. just general things. Wow, I can't even believe that

  497. you're asking me for water, you know?

  498. And he's like, man, if you knew who I was and the ghetto was,

  499. you'd be asking me for waters. Like, bro, you don't even have a

  500. bucket. I don't even know what you

  501. talking about right now. Right?

  502. And he said, man, my junk don't never run out.

  503. Well, won't you give me this? So I never had to come to this

  504. well anymore. And it's like a spigot in my

  505. house. You know, we have running water

  506. today. I just turn it on, turn it off,

  507. turn it on, turn it off, right. Anyway, with that being said,

  508. you know, but we're talking about spiritual things.

  509. She didn't understand that. So in order for him, him to kick

  510. her over into spiritual, he had to get personal.

  511. And sometimes in the harvest you got to get personal at the

  512. expense of getting them being offended.

  513. Are you hearing me? She she could have already,

  514. because she understands there's a race issue, there's

  515. discrimination happening between our people and now you, oh, you

  516. going to talk to me about my husband's?

  517. You think I'm trash? You think I'm all this?

  518. I mean, she could have responded that way, right?

  519. Come on now. Oh, you going to talk to me

  520. about my relationships? But what does she do?

  521. She's like, well, I perceive you're a prophet because

  522. obviously there's no way you'd have known that unless you've

  523. are tapping into the throne room.

  524. So at that point, as he unloads who she is, she doesn't believe.

  525. She begins to jump over into spiritual questions.

  526. And you ever got around somebody, when you start getting

  527. personal and then they start to find out that you actually are

  528. believer, then they obviously want to start talking the Bible

  529. and what they know. And she does that.

  530. Well, you know they say. And he says, look, you got it

  531. all wrong, girl. Salvation comes from us.

  532. But you got to understand there's coming a day when he is

  533. seeking those who will worship him in spirit and in truth.

  534. Are you hearing me? And she says, well, I hear the

  535. messiahs coming. And then he lays it out.

  536. First time he ever announces his kingship.

  537. The first time he ever announces it.

  538. And he tells a woman, he says I am the Messiah.

  539. And man, when she hears those words, notice what he didn't

  540. say. I am the one who's going to die

  541. on the cross and be raised from the dead so that your sins will

  542. be forgiven. What he says is I am the

  543. Messiah. The Messiah is the Hebrew word

  544. that the Greek equivalent is the Christ.

  545. Christ is not last name. Messiah is not last name.

  546. Both of those are titles and they literally mean the King.

  547. And when I say literally, they mean the anointed one in his

  548. anointing. OK, but what is that?

  549. Well, God anointed kings, the Lord said, this is my beloved

  550. Son and who I am well pleased. Jesus said the Spirit of the

  551. Lord is upon me, for he has what anointed me.

  552. So when the Father opened up heaven and the Holy Spirit came

  553. upon Jesus, that was His coordination, that was His

  554. crowning, that was His. Anointing as king of the earth,

  555. and his father says this is my son, I'm the king and this is my

  556. son who's king of the earth. He is king of the earth.

  557. He is anointed to be king of all the earth.

  558. Are you hearing me? And Jesus functioned underneath

  559. that anointing. Are you hearing me?

  560. So that anointing is flowing in him.

  561. Then we get down to verse 30. Look at this, everybody doing

  562. all right. Verse 30 say I'm never too

  563. tired. They went out of the city and

  564. we're coming to him. Now she's gone into the town

  565. telling everybody about this guy and saying the Messiah, the

  566. Christ, the one that's been prophesied is at the well guys.

  567. And they're like, he's at the well, He's at the well.

  568. And they're like, well, let's go see what this woman's talking

  569. about now. They believed her and what I

  570. mean, believed her. They were curious.

  571. They wanted to know because if they didn't believe her at all,

  572. they're like, I'm not going out there.

  573. See, true belief has action. So they believed her that he was

  574. there. So they acted on her words and

  575. showed up. But they did not believe in him

  576. till later. They believed for themselves

  577. later as he stayed with them two days and they said we believe.

  578. Now, not because of what this woman said, but we have.

  579. Heard your words ourself. Wow, are you hearing me?

  580. So now they're starting to come out to him.

  581. Meanwhile the disciples were urging him saying Rabbi eat, but

  582. he said to him, look what he says now this is the guy who was

  583. weary journey all day, had a busy day, Say I had a busy day.

  584. He said I have food to eat that you.

  585. Do not know about so the disciples were saying to one

  586. another, no one brought him anything to eat, did he?

  587. And Jesus said my food, say my food, come on, say my food, come

  588. on, say my food. My food is to do the will of him

  589. who sent me and to accomplish his.

  590. Work. If you want to get out of

  591. weariness, then you're going to have to eat the food of His will

  592. for your life. As long as you keep running

  593. around trying to rest, trying to get your own rest, do your own

  594. thing, you're always going to be too tired.

  595. But Jesus, when he's tired, can tap into the will of His Father

  596. and get strength that food can't even bring Him.

  597. Are you hearing me? He says, he says do not say

  598. there is yet four months and then the harvest come now look

  599. how it kicks over. He is saying, listen, I have

  600. food. My food is due to the will of

  601. him who sent me into Compass purpose.

  602. And then he says quit acting like you got more time.

  603. Quit hate. Quit delaying what you're

  604. hearing from heaven because you're tired, he said.

  605. Do not say that there are yet four months and then comes the

  606. harvest. Behold, I say.

  607. To you lift up your eyes and look on the field, for they are

  608. white for harvest already He who reaps is receiving wages and is

  609. gathering fruit for eternal life, so that he who sows and he

  610. who. Reaps may rejoice.

  611. What together, in essence, he's saying, listen, get out there

  612. because some places you're going to sow and someone's going to

  613. come in behind and reap. You do your part.

  614. They do their part and we going to get this thing done.

  615. But don't be sitting around saying I'm too tired.

  616. I mean, Christians are too tired to come to church.

  617. They spend so much time doing their work and kids and get in

  618. the head or whatever the case may be, and then God gets

  619. leftovers. Yet God's will for your life is

  620. to be in church so that you can release your gift.

  621. Now you'd be less weary if you showed up more, because it is

  622. the will of your father to assemble.

  623. It's the will of your father to be jointed and fitted with other

  624. believer. It is the will of your father to

  625. come and release your gift in the local body.

  626. And then it will equip you so that when you're out in the

  627. highway and the byways, you can hear from heaven accurately and

  628. you can pick ripe fruit instead of picking fruit that no, that

  629. ultimately is going to be bitter.

  630. Don't wait for an evangelistic moment.

  631. Be sensitive every day. But in order for you to maintain

  632. your sustenance or your drive, you've got to be eating the food

  633. that will suffice your weariness.

  634. And it is the only thing that will.

  635. My food is to do the will. Of him who sent me and to

  636. accomplish. Do you understand it wasn't just

  637. the Father's assignment for Jesus to preach.

  638. That was one of them. It wasn't just Jesus assignment

  639. to flow in the gifts of the Spirit, although it was one of

  640. them. It wasn't just Jesus's

  641. assignment to raise the dead, heal the sick, cast out devils,

  642. although he did all those. Those were parts of his

  643. assignment. Ultimately his assignment is to

  644. die on the cross for us, stand in the gap that that grain, that

  645. seed, that king kind would go into the earth so it could

  646. produce after its own kind. That we would be raised up to

  647. newness of life and we would be raised up to reign and to rule

  648. again and get back into the dominion that the first Adam

  649. lost. Jesus Christ made the way so

  650. that we could rule and reign in this life and the one to come.

  651. Amen. And so we are ever present to be

  652. hearing the Spirit of God, to do the will of the Father, because

  653. one of the things that we are tasked to do is to reconcile men

  654. to God. And there is this like almost

  655. insatiable appetite, and that is ever learning but never coming

  656. to the knowledge of truth, of people that want tidbits but

  657. don't live what they hear, they don't want to event.

  658. Or if they are evangelizing, they are evangelizing in fear

  659. and not in love, 'cause it is the kindness of God that draws

  660. men to repentance, not scaring the hell out of them.

  661. Are you hearing me? Now with that being said, he

  662. goes on and says in verse 37. For in this case the saying is

  663. true. One sows, another reaps.

  664. I send you to reap that for which you have not labored.

  665. Others have labored and you have entered into their labor.

  666. Do you understand there is a season that is upon us that is

  667. allowing us to reap quicker because of all who have gone

  668. before as laborers? But if we are so consumed with

  669. our life, then we are going to find ourselves too weary to eat

  670. the food we're supposed to eat and opportunities are going to

  671. pass by. Not because heaven's not

  672. talking, it's because you're acknowledging your tiredness.

  673. Are you hearing me? Now, again, I know that many of

  674. you are doing just this. You're taking time at your work.

  675. You're taking time at different places.

  676. You're sharing. You're communicating.

  677. Divine connections are happening.

  678. I just want you to be of good cheer.

  679. You have great reward. Because of that.

  680. And maybe, maybe you don't see them coming to the Kingdom that

  681. day. But make no mistake about it,

  682. God, although the laborers are few, He works.

  683. The laborers work. I mean, you can't be a laborer

  684. and not work, but I'm not working.

  685. I'm a believer. OK, well then you're not a

  686. believer because you're not working.

  687. You're afraid of a four letter word work because you've been

  688. taught wrong about works. Amen.

  689. So John 17 four says this. Jesus said I glorify you on the

  690. earth talking about his Father having accomplished the work

  691. which you have given me to do. You know, when I look at Pastor

  692. Hagan, who's 85 now, 85 and just went to Brazil, he went to

  693. Guatemala, he went to Colombia, just went there, 85.

  694. He's not an assisted living. I'm going to say that he's not

  695. in assisted living. Are you hearing me?

  696. He is out doing the will of his father and it is sustaining him

  697. to do what most people have already checked out.

  698. Why? Because they only built their

  699. Kingdom. They lived their life to serve

  700. their purpose, to have their retirement, to do their stuff.

  701. And yet Pastor Hagan, 85, still driving on.

  702. I mean, he's kind of like Caleb. I'm well able to conquer this

  703. mountain. Let's do another international

  704. trip. Hallelujah, Amen.

  705. That should inspire you, that should give you passion.

  706. You understand? Don't look at the ones who are

  707. tired and quitting. Look at the ones that are saying

  708. my food is to do the will of my father who sent me.

  709. I will not leave this earth with carrying something.

  710. I'm going to do everything he's asked me to do.

  711. Let's finish the course because there's too many people out

  712. there that need what you carry. They need it.

  713. So don't ever let yourself say I'm too tired when heaven's

  714. talking, are you hearing me? Second Timothy chapter 2 verse

    2 Timothy 2 chapter mention

  715. six says this. The hard working farmer ought to

  716. be the what first to receive his.

  717. Share of the crops. You know what's crazy in

  718. churches today If you don't watch out.

  719. They are just trying to eliminate older generation

  720. anyway. Which is not the Church of Jesus

  721. Christ. Cause the Church of Jesus Christ

  722. is multi cultural or multi ethnic or of every nation, you

  723. know. No, we shouldn't look the same.

  724. Everybody shouldn't be looking the same.

  725. There is nowhere in scripture where you will find that there's

  726. a black church or a white church.

  727. Or a Hispanic church. That doesn't exist in the

  728. Kingdom is every tongue and tribe.

  729. That's what it looks like. But you know what else?

  730. It's multi generational. It's multi generational and in

  731. it's in it's maturing. The younger are seeking the

  732. wisdom of the older and the older are empowering the younger

  733. because of their energy. But you know, when most churches

  734. like, oh, they're old, we don't even walk them around.

  735. I mean, there's been a whole church movement where they get

  736. rid of older people on the platform and only want younger

  737. people on it. Why is that?

  738. Why have we become so segregated in our?

  739. Thinking, well, it's because a lot of the older ones are tired

  740. of working and they've taken their workplace into the church.

  741. Well, you know, I've served with the children's, you know, 15

  742. years. I think I'm going to retire now.

  743. What are you going to do? Well, I'm just going to sit in

  744. service. So God put all that in you to

  745. deploy and now you going to sit around.

  746. You're not going to invest in another generation.

  747. Hallelujah, Amen. I've determined as I get older,

  748. I'm going to get better. I mean, if the Lord tarries

  749. another 30 years, you better watch out and see what I look

  750. like at 84. I'm telling you, I'm going to be

  751. a runner. I'm going to be like rocking

  752. this thing, man. I'm going to keep the suit

  753. strong. Amen.

  754. Now you may be 30 and benching more than me on the waist, but

  755. at the end of the day, you're going to wish you could do what

  756. I do at 84. Are you hearing me?

  757. I'm telling you right now, I am strong in the Lord and the power

  758. of His mind, and I'm not being pushed out.

  759. I got too much to bring. I got too much to carry.

  760. I got too much to do, but I'm not going to do it alone.

  761. We're not here to do it alone. We're here to raise up.

  762. I mean, I don't despise your youthfulness.

  763. Do not despise my Gray hair. I mean, let's accomplish

  764. something. Let's do something together.

  765. Let's go change and evangelize the world.

  766. Let's not get so tired and bring in our corporate America in how

  767. we do church. Let's do church Jesus's way.

  768. Because I can guarantee you this promise here in Galatians 6, and

  769. we'll close with this one in Galatians chapter 6, starting in

    Galatians 6 chapter mention

  770. verse nine. Do not lose heart in doing good,

  771. for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary so.

  772. Then while we have opportunity, say I have opportunity, you know

  773. how you know you have opportunity, 'cause you're

  774. breathing. You're breathing right now.

  775. You're breathing right now. So then while we have

  776. opportunity, let us do good to all people and especially to

  777. those and especially say especially to those who are of

  778. the household of the faith. Now this verse is really these

  779. two verses are really important that I want to close on today is

  780. this number one don't lose heart because in when it comes to

  781. ministry, when you're in the season between sowing and

  782. reaping of different things, even in vision, even in the

  783. accomplishment of the Willow golf for your life, you're going

  784. to get in seasons where things are going to come against you

  785. attack. There's going to be certain

  786. things, and those things are there to press you to put.

  787. Pressure on you to try to get you tired, to try to get you to

  788. carry the load yourself, to become absorbed only with

  789. yourself and not others. And it's in those moments that

  790. you have to be the most intentional of staying good.

  791. Not retaliating, not seeking revenge, not trying to make sure

  792. that everybody understands about you.

  793. What you do is know what? I'm just going to seek the will

  794. of my father I'm going to do with.

  795. I'm going to keep doing what I've always been doing because

  796. God has always been faithful. And this too shall pass.

  797. And I'll overcome this too. And I'll get through this trial

  798. as well. And I'll come through this

  799. valley of the shadow of death. I'm going to get to the other

  800. side. We're going to, we get to where

  801. we need to be because there's too many lives at stake.

  802. There's too many people that need to be changed.

  803. There's it's too important that I bring my supply and the

  804. opportunity is here because I'm breathing, which means I will

  805. not let my age dictate my performance.

  806. I'm not going to buy the law. I will be sufficient, efficient

  807. and perform at high capacity all my life.

  808. So I do not let the thoughts creep in.

  809. You're getting older. That's some viewpoint that's

  810. irrelevant because I can thrive as long as I'm on purpose.

  811. Are you hearing me? Because you know, some of you,

  812. you wake up a little slower. Now I'm saying this because

  813. we've been here 20 years and I'm look at y'all, some of y'all

  814. been around for a while, right? And at the end of the day, you

  815. got to go. You got to keep moving, you got

  816. to keep doing something. You got to keep performing.

  817. Because again, when I was 34 and started the church, I was

  818. actually in worse shape than I am now.

  819. But you know, I come to find it every year I hit.

  820. It's really not that old because I lied to myself when I was

  821. young and act like it was old till I got here and then I

  822. realized this ain't old. Are you hearing me now?

  823. Why do I say that? Because then I wouldn't have

  824. been so silly when I was young. Because when I was young, I was

  825. silly. I was young thinking, man, if I

  826. don't get this accomplished right now, because when I get, I

  827. won't do it when I'm older. And they didn't realize I'm

  828. moving into bigger and better things than my prom now.

  829. The only reason why people aren't doing it in their older

  830. age is because they start taking on account of their age.

  831. Well, does God talk to you about age?

  832. God just talks to you about purpose.

  833. Caleb didn't say. I wish somebody would take that

  834. mountain for me because, you know, I should have been in here

  835. when I was 40. When I was 40, bro, I mean, I

  836. was I was like tip top. I was rocking this deal.

  837. But now, you know, I had to hang out in the wilderness for 40

  838. years with all of you people. Now I'm 80 and now we've been

  839. fighting for five years, right, because I had to help train all

  840. you guys. And now here I am 85.

  841. You know, I would love to get a retirement home and I need some

  842. help. But what does he say to Joshua?

  843. Son, I'm taking my mountain. Are you?

  844. I am well able. I'm just as strong today at 85

  845. as I was at 40. Because he never lost sight.

  846. Of the purpose. And one of the.

  847. Things we're losing sight is, is the Ministry of Reconciliation

  848. that there's going to be a lot of times in your day-to-day when

  849. that heaven's going to start talking and it's your woman at

  850. the well. And let me tell you, the woman

  851. at the well was just the tip of the iceberg because the woman

  852. represented the city even though she was not a city official,

  853. even though she was not someone of renown, but she was the

  854. encounter that heaven wanted Jesus to speak to and the day he

  855. was weary. And Vermont, don't grow weary in

  856. your well doing son, because if you'll talk to this woman, what

  857. I'm fixing to tell you that's going on in her life, then we

  858. can win that city. But notice what it cost him a

  859. couple of days. Cause instead of going on, they

  860. said would you stay with us? And he intentionally stayed for

  861. two days to share about the Kingdom and revival broke out in

  862. the city. I don't want to hear another St.

  863. Talk to me about revival if you're not willing to do

  864. something different for two days.

  865. Nobody's serious about harvest because we got to click.

  866. Click our little clock, come in, click it.

  867. You don't do it here. I understand that.

  868. I'm preaching online now you click in, click out.

  869. You want your little time frame. You know you want your fan, you

  870. want yours, want yours. And then heaven starts talking

  871. to you and it makes it uncomfortable.

  872. Now you got to have a detour for a couple days.

  873. Jesus was like, This is why I'm here.

  874. I'm not here to build a house. I'm not here to amass wealth.

  875. I own it all anyway. And if we understand, we're the

  876. children. Of the king.

  877. Guess what? I can have a house, but I'm not

  878. here for that purpose. I can have wealth, but I'm not

  879. here for that purpose. I'm here to significantly change

  880. people's lives. And it's going to be in those

  881. days. And I'm like that, he says.

  882. Don't get weary because harvest is right there, son.

  883. Harvest is there. What's another 20 years at

  884. Anchor Faith Church of the Lord? Terry, Fruitful labor.

  885. Fruitful labor. I said fruitful labor because at

  886. the end of the day, what are we doing anyway if we're not

  887. willing to invite others in to our family?

  888. And I say that because Anchor Faith Church is really good at

  889. establishing Dominion, but we need to become even more

  890. equipped and purposeful about day-to-day evangelism, sensitive

  891. for opportunities because what you know and what you experience

  892. and what you can distribute deploy the demonstrations.

  893. How in the world would we not be more full than even this?

  894. So I'm glad you're taking all your kids to the parks and

  895. playing all the sports 'cause there's a world of people out

  896. there that need what you need. You got to get.

  897. Bold listen from heaven. That person's in a wheelchair.

  898. Lord, do I need to go over there and raise them up now he may say

  899. no, but at least ask and if he says yes, then do it without

  900. doubting. But make sure you're here.

  901. Don't go over there and try to snatch somebody out and look

  902. like an. Idiot.

  903. Because you want it to be. And it's not what he said.

  904. Because he's the Lord of the harvest.

  905. It may be that you just need to say, so what's going on?

  906. How are you doing? What took place?

  907. How come you're in that chair anyway?

  908. And it just may be you need to hear some things before the time

  909. comes. That ultimately you're like.
