  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. You know, now you understand me

  4. as a pastor that I typically am not moved by, you know, US

  5. holidays. So, you know, we don't

  6. technically have to minister on the subject of a holiday.

  7. We're not bound by those traditions.

  8. And so sometimes if we're in a series, we just won't drive on.

  9. We even do this at Christmas. We'll do this all during, you

  10. know, the world's Easter holiday.

  11. We call it Resurrection Sunday. You know, we're not subject to

  12. those things. We just want to do what the

  13. father says. Obviously, periodically through

  14. the years, we do take time to minister along subjects.

  15. And it's traditionally true that on Mother's Day we tend to talk

  16. to mothers. On Father's Day we tend to talk

  17. to fathers. We have even switched it up that

  18. I've done Mother's Day. So from a from a man

  19. perspective, talk to mothers and then my wife has ministered on

  20. Father's Day from a female perspective to speak to fathers.

  21. I think it's all good, but you know what I've never done?

  22. I've never ministered on Father's Day where we just

  23. focused on our Father ever. So we're going to do that today

  24. because it's Father's Day. And if you're born of the

  25. Spirit, if you've made Jesus the Lord of your life, then we need

  26. to talk about our daddy because he's the one worthy.

  27. That testimony that we just heard was so impactful that

  28. Rachel just gave us because you know, Rachel represents many

  29. that have been disappointed by a natural father.

  30. And you understand this, let me just say it this way.

  31. God says in His Scripture, God is not a man that He should lie.

  32. So first of all, you cannot compare Father God with any

  33. natural man, even the ones that are modeling it the best they

  34. can. At the end of the day, they'll

  35. still not measure up to your Father in heaven, period.

  36. And as much as men should aspire and should model their Heavenly

  37. Father, and women should aspire and model their Heavenly Father,

  38. we still do not get it completely right.

  39. And again, if you look to a human to try to see God, only

  40. then you're going to get disappointed because eventually

  41. humans tend to fail somewhere. But if you look at the

  42. Scripture, then you see a Father that's without failure, perfect

  43. in every way. Are you hearing me?

  44. He's perfect in every way. And as a result of that, we

  45. should just look at Scripture to remind ourselves about a Father

  46. that is extremely deserving because many of us have no idea

  47. of what he's done to be able to have you back in the family.

  48. We have taken it for granted too many times.

  49. We do not see things a lot of times because we're so absorbed

  50. in our own sight that we do not see the working of our Heavenly

  51. Father to draw us, to come to us, to have us back into the

  52. family. And if we don't watch out, we'll

  53. miss things. Amen.

  54. So I want to say a few things concerning the attributes of our

  55. Father. This is just kind of set stage a

  56. little bit. Although I will not exhaust

  57. this. There are so many other things,

  58. things that we could continue to bring into light, and for the

  59. sake of time, I'm obviously not going to be able to do all of

  60. them, but I want to show a few things from Scripture that our

  61. Heavenly Father does for us because He's just that awesome.

  62. Amen. And you understand because Adam

  63. fell from dominion, because Adam cut off the relationship with

  64. God, and we were all born into sin and we have rebelled.

  65. We've all been rebellious, I said.

  66. We've all been rebellious, that while we were yet sinners,

  67. Christ died in obedience to the Father.

  68. Jesus said, I'm here because Dad sent me.

  69. Are you hearing me? Dad so much wanted to re engage

  70. humans, humanity, mankind that he said, Son, you're the only

  71. one who can get them back in the family.

  72. So I'm going to send you because I want them back in.

  73. I want to give them the pathway to come back to me as their

  74. father and to be back in the place that I originally designed

  75. this part of my creation. Amen.

  76. So the first thing we want to look at is that our father is a

  77. rewarder. He is a rewarder.

  78. It's an amazing thing. And again I'm not going to go

  79. through multiple scriptures. I'm just going to hit a few

  80. things because there's so much that we could go.

  81. I mean, we could technically if I was a teacher, I could just

  82. take one topic or one of these examples and preach it all day.

  83. But I'm not here to do a 12 week series on this.

  84. I'm here to give you an overview so that you yourself can get

  85. into scripture and begin to look.

  86. And I'm going to tell you right now, you're going to be glad

  87. you're at Anchor Fate Church because the only thing that's

  88. going to be released of this service is our podcast because

  89. we are traveling to summer camp. We have no cameras in here.

  90. Who's here is getting it? Amen.

  91. So it's not going to be released other than on audio, but in

  92. Matthew 66 it says this. But you, when you pray, go into

  93. your room and when you shut your door, pray to your Father who is

  94. in the secret place, and your Father who sees in secret will

  95. what? Reward you openly.

  96. He is a rewarder. In fact, Hebrews tells us that

  97. he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

  98. You have to believe that He is and that He's a rewarder.

  99. So you understand our Father is a rewarder.

  100. You, our Father's not stingy. Our Father's not trying to keep

  101. things from Our Father is wanting to engage in a

  102. conversation with us because he has so many things stored up for

  103. us that He wants to release to us.

  104. He is a rewarder. You could not have a father

  105. greater than Father God who owns the planet.

  106. And he is a rewarder. You understand He wants to give,

  107. it's his nature. He loves to give.

  108. He loves to lavish gifts on his children.

  109. He is a rewarder. Your Father loves to reward you.

  110. Amen. Another thing that our Father is

  111. in Luke chapter 6 verse 36, He is merciful.

    Luke 6:36

  112. I said he's merciful. He's a merciful.

  113. Father says therefore be merciful, just as your father is

  114. merciful. Aren't you glad he's merciful?

  115. He's been merciful to us. Amen.

  116. When we got out of line, did some things we shouldn't have

  117. done or we were living a particular way that we were

  118. deserving to be eternally separated from him, but yet he's

  119. merciful. He's really you understand, does

  120. God keep his word? Yes, but he's merciful.

  121. He has he has accomplished things through his word so that

  122. when you are in situations that his word would rightly condemn

  123. you or judge you, if you and act the word that he has that will

  124. allow you to get up underneath his mercy, then he's merciful.

  125. I said he's merciful and because he's merciful, it goes to the

  126. next point that we can talk about our Father.

  127. He's forgiving. In Matthew 614, he says if you

  128. forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also

  129. forgive you man. He is quick to forgive.

  130. In fact, first John tells us that if we confess our sins,

  131. He's faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and

  132. cleanse us from all unrighteous. In fact, our Father removes our

  133. sin as far as the East is from the West.

  134. These are some awesome attributes.

  135. What's super cool today is because we have no cameras, I

  136. can go anywhere. So is he is a forgiving Father?

  137. I mean he is so quick to forgive.

  138. I mean He is not trying to hold on to your junk.

  139. In essence, He is always trying to empower you with His Word

  140. that allows you to walk into His mercy, be able to receive His

  141. forgiveness, and then He can reward you as His child.

  142. I mean, our God, our Father is so amazing.

  143. I mean, He is always working it out for our benefit.

  144. He's always working overtime for our benefit.

  145. He wants you to be everything that He's always endeavored you

  146. to be. He's not trying to withhold any

  147. good thing from you, period. So again, you can't look at

  148. natural fathers, you know, who would hold things out and pull

  149. things or say they would do things and didn't do things.

  150. Our Father's not that way. Our Father in heaven is loving,

  151. caring, kind, generous. He's amazing and there's none

  152. like him, I said. There's none like him.

  153. And many people need to go to the Word to discover their

  154. Father and quit trying to view their Father through their

  155. natural Father. Are you hearing me through their

  156. natural father? You know, for me and my

  157. particular natural father, I didn't, you know, in one sense

  158. think a whole lot about him. Because again, when you are

  159. raised a certain way, you're not in other people's households.

  160. And when you're not in other people's households, then the

  161. reality is, is you tend to think, well, this must be normal

  162. when you don't have anything else to compare to, right?

  163. At the end of the day, sometimes it just seems to be normal.

  164. And then you pick up behaviors and actions and things that are

  165. modeling a natural father because they modeled them in

  166. front of you. But when you get into scripture,

  167. you'll begin to discover how well your parents did.

  168. Now again, do not utilize this scripture in error.

  169. Honor your mother and father well.

  170. Are you honoring your Heavenly Father?

  171. Because many will not honor their Heavenly Father at it at

  172. the expense of of wrongly honoring their mother and father

  173. in a way that's not actually honoring at all.

  174. Because a parent that would keep their children from the Heavenly

  175. Father is not honorable. Now, that doesn't mean you still

  176. can't be nice. That doesn't mean you still

  177. can't bless them because you understand, even the Bible has

  178. provision that you bless your enemy.

  179. And I'm just going to be honest with you.

  180. For some of us, our parents, not me specifically, but our parents

  181. can be actually our enemy in relationship to they try to keep

  182. you from the Heavenly Father and the Bible's like, you know, go

  183. ahead and bless your enemy because when you do this, even

  184. though they're not deserving, you begin to show the traits of

  185. your heavenly Father, which is greater than what we see in the

  186. natural. Now, when I say this, my natural

  187. father, in one sense, you know, I didn't think he was a bad dad

  188. growing up, to be honest with you.

  189. I mean, if I was looking at it from the surface, he provided

  190. for us. He owned his own painting

  191. company. There was always provision.

  192. We live well. By no means were we wealthy.

  193. But you know what? I didn't know the difference

  194. between wealth or poverty, to be honest with you.

  195. I had everything taken care of. I didn't consider myself

  196. impoverished. I didn't consider myself, you

  197. know, extremely wealthy. I mean, whatever need to take

  198. place, it happened. My dad was always around.

  199. He was always around. He would show up now when I was

  200. younger, he didn't show up as often till later in the evening

  201. because he had a tradition that when he got off at work at 3:30,

  202. he would go to the bar and he would drink and he wouldn't show

  203. up till later. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  204. Now when he lived in one place, he would usually bring all the

  205. guys to the house and they would drink in the barn.

  206. Then we moved into a smaller community where we lived in the

  207. neighborhood and he wasn't bringing people out.

  208. There was further away from work so he would stay in before he'd

  209. come home because he was honestly just a selfish guy.

  210. He was living life for him. Now, was he doing what he needed

  211. to do for his family? Based upon what he knows, I

  212. should provide, but outside of that, that's about it.

  213. He did take me to work with him on Saturdays.

  214. He loved me based upon what he knew, and I would go work and I

  215. learned to trade as a result of that.

  216. Those were awesome times to me, but I did not realize my dad

  217. never appointed me to my Heavenly Father.

  218. Not once. My mom did that.

  219. My father did not do that there. I remember many times that it

  220. would be late. My mom wanted him to come home.

  221. Me, I didn't think nothing about it, but she would say, Earl

  222. Wayne, will you call down to Larry's beverage and see if your

  223. dad's left yet? The reason she would have me

  224. call is because she had called enough herself.

  225. Are you hearing what I'm saying? So I would get on the phone and

  226. ask if he was there. We didn't have cell phones back

  227. then, people, OK. And so I would be called and

  228. basically she would use me to try to get my dad to come home.

  229. Now, for me, I didn't think it was a big deal.

  230. I didn't think about that. But now as a believer in looking

  231. back, I'm like, man, that's pretty tough that my dad didn't

  232. care enough and was modeling God enough to want to come home and

  233. invest in US. Now, my dad did some things with

  234. me in sports, you know, he did some things with our team.

  235. But as I got into high school, he never came to a meet.

  236. He was obviously busy. My mom never did that either,

  237. you know, But you know, to me it was just normal.

  238. I look at some of y'all's parents and y'all are everywhere

  239. that your kids are. And my, my parents didn't do

  240. that. But you know what my father

  241. said? He'll never leave me nor forsake

  242. me in the word. And I, he's with me ever

  243. present. I begin to realize when I put my

  244. natural father up to my Heavenly Father, he was quite miserable.

  245. And that's not a lack of honor, it's just he was not living up

  246. to it because he was not born again.

  247. He was not following God, He was following himself.

  248. But yet I do not hate my father, nor do I hate God because I

  249. allow God to tell me who he was himself, because my natural

  250. father was not a candidate to introduce me to my Heavenly

  251. Father. Are you hearing me?

  252. So I don't care where it is. This is the thing about God.

  253. You could be here today and your Mama didn't introduce you to

  254. your Heavenly Father. Your Father didn't introduce you

  255. to your Heavenly Father, none of your family.

  256. But all of a sudden you're here and we are introducing you to

  257. him. And you should begin to look at

  258. Him for who He is and not for how you were raised.

  259. Because here's the thing about our Heavenly Father, He will

  260. take you out of your family tree.

  261. When I realized that I'm like this is amazing that what was in

  262. my natural family tree wasn't subject to me the minute I got

  263. in Christ. That my heavenly Father had the

  264. ability to remove me from a natural family tree, place me

  265. into a spiritual family tree that now has the effects in my

  266. natural body. Where in my natural family tree

  267. I may be subject to sickness, disease called a hereditary.

  268. But when I got over into the Kingdom, my Heavenly Father

  269. threw me into a different one. That the spiritual family now

  270. effects my natural body and I'm no longer subject to it because

  271. my Heavenly Father is that good. And he's not only a dad, but

  272. he's my healer as well. Wow, how amazing, I said.

  273. How amazing. So he's a rewarder, He's

  274. merciful, he's forgiving. You know what else he is?

  275. He provides an anointing. And this is just something

  276. that's big picture. I'll have to break it down a

  277. little bit, but in Luke 2449, look what it says here.

  278. Jesus says, behold, I send the promise of my who's our father

  279. upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are

  280. endued from with power from Ohio.

  281. So our father gives us power. We say an anointing, but it's a

  282. power. OK.

  283. And in that power, what does it do?

  284. It gives us a connection to the home country.

  285. It gives us a language of the home country.

  286. It gives us access to the gifts of his spirit.

  287. It allows us to rise to another level of, of spiritual insight

  288. or, or, or access. We could say, you understand

  289. what I'm saying. I mean, it is so much that our

  290. Father does again as a reward and he's like, listen, I'm going

  291. to equip you and empower you with my own spirit that has

  292. never lost a conflict. My spirit's never lost a

  293. conflict. So again, when he says, when

  294. Jesus said, now listen, I'll never leave you nor forsake you.

  295. Our Father never is not leaving us as an orphan.

  296. In essence, he's saying, listen, I'm not asking you to accept

  297. Jesus as your Lord so that you know where you're going to go

  298. when you die. No, I'm going to empower you

  299. while you're down on the planet. I'm going to put an A King's

  300. anointing on you. I'm going to give you my

  301. authority. I'm going to give you my power.

  302. I'm going to give you access into my spirit.

  303. I'm going to cause you to be able to rise above all things.

  304. I'm going to allow you to represent me while you're in the

  305. planet. What an awesome dad.

  306. Our father's not. I mean, if it was so bad for

  307. you, our dad would snatch you out the minute you became born

  308. again. But our dad is so awesome.

  309. He's like, I'm going to put me in you.

  310. I'm going to put me in you. In fact, we know the Scripture

  311. says greater is he who is in than he.

  312. You understand when you became a child of our heavenly Father, he

  313. gave you a force that conquers the devil.

  314. So you understand, our Father in heaven is not wringing his hands

  315. going, Oh my God, what are we going to do with my child down

  316. there? In essence, he's saying Jesus,

  317. let tell the Holy Ghost to let them know who they are, that

  318. I've empowered them, I've anointed them, I've given them

  319. the greater one. They are no longer slaves to

  320. that lifestyle anymore. I've caused them to rise above

  321. this thing. I have given them my Kingdom.

  322. Wow. We tend to treat our Father like

  323. it's a one day event instead of he's right here talking to me

  324. every day, spending time with me, cares about me and has given

  325. me an anointing. You know what else he does?

  326. He's a provider. He man, he's full of provision.

  327. We see this in Matthew 6. You know verse 31.

  328. I mean your dad provides everything.

  329. The problem is we don't know how to go about getting his

  330. provision. That's the only reason why we

  331. failed to see his provision. It says it's therefore do not

  332. what do not worry saying what will we eat, what will we drink

  333. or what we wear and that says you don't worry about the cares

  334. of life. So if you wake up and go man,

  335. what are we going to do? How are we going to that's not

  336. how you function towards your heavenly Father.

  337. Your father says don't worry like your natural parents

  338. stressing fretting about everything how they going to

  339. come up. I he said I have AI don't have a

  340. care in the world. You understand I got it all

  341. planned out for you. All I need you to do is the next

  342. verse. Which would be verse 33.

  343. We'll skip that, but let's go on.

  344. For after all these things, the Gentiles seek for your what?

  345. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

  346. So you understand. It's not like the Lord doesn't

  347. know what you need. Your daddy already knows what

  348. you need even before you ask. But verse 33, but seek first the

  349. Kingdom of God, not second, not last.

  350. You know how it is in the natural.

  351. A lot of times we as children, we go to our parents last.

  352. It's like our last option, you understand?

  353. And that may be fine in the natural, but when it comes to

  354. our heavenly Father, he's not laugh, He's not saying, well, I

  355. want you to figure it out. No, he wants you to come to him.

  356. He wants you to seek him because he's like, I know how to

  357. accomplish this. I'm going to let you

  358. participate, but I'm going to speak to you on what to do and

  359. when you do it. Know this Dad will always bring

  360. that to pass in your life. Whatever I tell you, Dad's going

  361. to do whatever I tell you. And you understand, we've been

  362. conditioned so much in the natural by our parents and

  363. natural fathers that they will promise us things and then later

  364. on give us an excuse of why they cannot accomplish it.

  365. But this does not happen with the Father in heaven.

  366. The minute the Father says it's this way, the only reason you do

  367. not get it is because you quit believing.

  368. You abandoned your faith. You focus on the wrong thing

  369. instead of keeping your heart set on your daddy.

  370. Because your Daddy has never failed to accomplish what He

  371. says. Never.

  372. But we are to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness,

  373. and all these things will be what added to you.

  374. That's why Luke chapter 12 verse 32 says it this way.

    Luke 12:32

  375. Do not fear little flock for your father, for your Father,

  376. for your Father's good pleasure. For it is your Father's good

  377. pleasure to give you the Kingdom, Hallelujah.

  378. And that is not when you go to heaven.

  379. Kingdom is not heaven. I said Kingdom is not heaven.

  380. I said Kingdom is not heaven. Kingdom is right here on the

  381. earth. It's the government influence of

  382. God. It's the King's dominion and it

  383. functions right here in the earth.

  384. Why? Because Psalms tells us 24/7 the

  385. earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

  386. He owns the earth. The earth is the Lord's.

  387. He's never lost planet earth. The systems are different

  388. because the Adam who had dominion according to Genesis

  389. 126 of the earth gave it over to the devil when he ate the fruit

  390. in the garden he was commanded not to eat.

  391. Jesus Christ has come as the last Adam to take back what the

  392. devil received from the first Adam, and now he's distributing

  393. it to us. And your Father has chosen

  394. gladly to give you his Kingdom while you remain in the planet.

  395. How do we know this is true? We'll look at Matthew chapter 6,

    Matthew 6:9

  396. verse 9. As they're asking him about

  397. prayer. He says this.

  398. Our Father, Whose father? Whose father?

  399. Whose father? It's our father.

  400. It's not Jesus's fault. It's your daddy, our Father.

  401. Where is he? That's where he currently is

  402. residing. Holy or hallowed be your name.

  403. Now look what it says next. Your Kingdom your will be on as

  404. it is. So Kingdom cannot be heaven

  405. because Kingdom is separated from heaven.

  406. Here your Kingdom come where on the earth and in heaven.

  407. So Kingdom can function in both earth realm and heaven realm.

  408. So the problem is religion has taught Saints that Kingdom is

  409. heaven, but Kingdom is not heaven.

  410. Kingdom can function right here on the earth.

  411. Do you understand? Jesus is the king now.

  412. He's not waiting to get a throne.

  413. He's on the throne. Oh, you're the one.

  414. He's not waiting to get a throne.

  415. He's on the throne. He is seated at the right hand

  416. of the Father. He has conquered death, hell in

  417. the grave. The enemy is under his feet.

  418. And Jesus says, listen, I want the Kingdom to manifest on this

  419. earth just like it does in heaven.

  420. Because in heaven when rebellion came, it was kicked out.

  421. Which means you have authority to get rid of all rebellion

  422. associated with your life. Oh my goodness, verse 11 says,

  423. give us this day Our Daily Bread and forgive us of our debts as

  424. we forgive our debtors and do not lead us into temptation, but

  425. deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the

  426. power and the glory. What?

  427. Forever? Amen.

  428. His Kingdom is forever. His Kingdom is forever.

  429. And are we in his Kingdom now? We're in his Kingdom now.

  430. Our dad is the king of the Kingdom that will globally take

  431. over the planet. It's in the earth right now, and

  432. now that it's in, it cannot get out.

  433. No matter what weapon the devil tries to form to get rid of

  434. God's Kingdom influence in the earth, they will all fail.

  435. They will never be able to take the Kingdom out.

  436. I said they'll never be able to take the Kingdom out, for the

  437. Bible tells us that a child will be born, a son will be given,

  438. and the government shall rest on his shoulders.

  439. Daniel said there's going to be a rock made without hands.

  440. Who is that rock? What's his name?

  441. He is the chief cornerstone, and it will crush every other

  442. government, and it will grow to a mountain and fill the whole

  443. earth. Once it's in, and it's in now,

  444. it cannot be removed, cannot be removed.

  445. It is not removed during the tribulation period.

  446. It is in full operation, demonstrating more power during

  447. that time to a generation of people on the planet that will

  448. still harden their heart and reject the king, but it will not

  449. leave the Earth. I said it will not leave the

  450. earth. So our father is so amazing

  451. because he is all authority. You know, through the years,

  452. you've heard the little joke. You know my dad beat up your

  453. daddy. Well, you understand if your

  454. dad's my daddy, we win all the time.

  455. Nothing can come against us. Nothing can come against us to

  456. defeat us because our father is an undefeated father.

  457. He reigns supreme. I said he reigns supreme.

  458. There's nothing you're going through that your dad cannot get

  459. you out of, and he's not bailing you out.

  460. It is part of the privilege of being his child.

  461. Are you hearing me? It is the privilege of being his

  462. child. He has made a way in every

  463. circumstance you could ever face.

  464. And your father will say this is the way out, this is the

  465. pathway, son or daughter, believe me, and we'll get to

  466. victory every time period. That's our father.

  467. I said that's our father. He says this is Second

    2 Corinthians 6:18

  468. Corinthians chapter 6, verse 18. He said, I will be a father to

  469. you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord

  470. Almighty, aren't you glad you have a heavenly father?

  471. Now listen, you have to understand that our father never

  472. takes off his crown. Our father never.

  473. And I do not want him to pull the crown off.

  474. I do not want him to pull the crown off 'cause that keeps my

  475. father in absolute power, final authority.

  476. I do not want him to pull off the crown and compromise his

  477. word from my feelings, 'cause the minute he does that, he'll

  478. become defeated. Because the integrity and

  479. character of my father is that he always keeps his word.

  480. So you got to understand the father is sitting on the throne.

  481. He does not take his crown off to come play with you and allow

  482. you to do things that are contrary to his word.

  483. He is such a loving father. He says, I'll keep this on so

  484. that nothing can hinder you as you do what your daddy says.

  485. close with your dad. There's just life.

  486. There's life if you'll do what I say, life.

  487. If you'll stay with me, life if you'll do what I go where I say

  488. to go, life. If anything comes against you,

  489. just do what dad says, life. And you want Dad to have that?

  490. Amen. I am so glad that my father is

  491. in supreme authority, so much so that nothing can harm me.

  492. Wow. Galatians chapter 4, verse six.

    Galatians 4 chapter mention

  493. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the spirit of his

  494. son into your hearts. Crying out, ABBA Father, that

  495. just means Daddy God, he's your daddy, right?

  496. So Father God is our daddy. Now again, our Father is not

  497. like natural dads. Because my natural dad may not

  498. keep his word or may allow me to get away with something, but not

  499. my heavenly Father, not him at all.

  500. He's better than that. And here's what's so awesome

  501. about him. Because I'm a child of God.

  502. OK, 'cause when he says sons, that's not gender.

  503. God has sent forth the spirit of his Son.

  504. Now who's his son? Jesus Christ, That's Jesus the

  505. King. So he's put in me royalty.

  506. In essence, He's brought me into his royal bloodline and we he's

  507. given me the spirit of Jesus Christ the King, the King that's

  508. above every king He's the king of and I'm one of those kings.

  509. So when I come into the household, I don't come in as a

  510. servant, a beggar, you know, you know the child, you know that is

  511. out on the fringe and just lucky to be in the house.

  512. You know, the one you know that everyone despises.

  513. No, he sits me on the throne with Jesus.

  514. I'm in a position where my dad exalts me in Christ, gives me

  515. position, gives me authority, gives me power that I can really

  516. in essence just look to my left because Jesus is seated at the

  517. right hand of the Father. Just look to my left and say,

  518. hey, Dad. Wow, I remind myself, Dad loves

  519. me. Dad has a word for me to

  520. overcome anything. Dad cares for me more than

  521. anything. Now, when I say that, I'm not

  522. saying more than you, because if you're his child, he loves you

  523. equally as much, right? Because he's not a respecter

  524. person. But we do have different

  525. assignments and whatever that assignment is given to us by our

  526. dad, we can accomplish it because our father is just that

  527. good. Look what it says in Romans

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  528. chapter 8 again, he's our daddy God.

  529. Romans 814 to 17. It says, for as many are led by

  530. the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

  531. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,

  532. but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out,

  533. ABBA, Father, the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit

  534. that we are children of God. And if children then heirs,

  535. heirs of God and join heirs with Christ, if we suffer with him

  536. that we may also be glorified together.

  537. Now notice in this passage of Scripture there are conditions

  538. that demonstrate our sonship number one, we must be born

  539. again. That qualifies us.

  540. Now I love this. Why?

  541. Because this next verse here go back one to 1514 and 15.

  542. It talks about how we receive a spirit of adoption.

  543. Now you understand Jesus said unless a man's born again, he

  544. shall not see the Kingdom. Now born again is a better

  545. translation is born from above. That would be more accurate.

  546. OK. And So what that means is our

  547. old spirit man that was dead separated from God is pulled out

  548. of our skin suit and he puts a brand new spirit in US and it's

  549. in Christ, it's in the King is royalty.

  550. It's royalty at conception. It's made righteous.

  551. It's perfect. It is.

  552. It has the ability to never sin. Are you hearing me?

  553. It doesn't even want to sin. It has access to hear God

  554. because it can hear the Holy Ghost that tells it you're a

  555. child of God. But you understand as a babe in

  556. Christ, I don't know all that I need to know about who I am.

  557. I don't understand all that there is to know about my family

  558. tree and the the privileges that are associated with my royal

  559. family. So when he says adoption, that

  560. word adoption is literally meaning placement.

  561. So you understand, we're brought into the Kingdom because we're

  562. born of the Kingdom by birthright.

  563. The adoption is position. What assignment does the Father

  564. have for you? And you know what, God is way

  565. too creative for all for all of us to have the same assignment.

  566. I mean, how boring would that be?

  567. He's just not boring. And in fact, there's so much to

  568. do in our Father's Kingdom. We act like the only thing that

  569. there's to do in the Father's Kingdom is to go win the lost.

  570. You understand? There'll come a day when there

  571. is no more loss to win. What are we going to do with the

  572. Father then, when there's a new heaven and a new earth?

  573. See, most people have no concept of what it means to engage their

  574. heavenly Father because there are assignments that are

  575. eternal, and it's beyond the reconciliation of the lost or

  576. the ministry of reconciliation. In fact, our duty to our Father

  577. and our assignment is way bigger than just telling people about

  578. Jesus. It includes it, but it's not

  579. limited to it. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  580. And so we see here, there's this adoption and in that we're

  581. crying out saying, Dad, what do you want me to do?

  582. I'll never forget just in the natural, when I would go to work

  583. for my father, we'd go to these, you know, neighborhoods.

  584. He worked for a particular builder and they would, you

  585. know, construct whole neighborhoods.

  586. And he was this contracted painter.

  587. And so, you know, we would go in and have to sand.

  588. I had to sand shell shelves or doors or whatever the case may

  589. be, you know, paint stuff. He never let me caught because I

  590. wasn't any good at it. But, you know, I did quite a few

  591. other things. And as a result of that, you

  592. know, you'd go to this new house, you know, you'd set it up

  593. and it was always exciting, right?

  594. There was something new to do. There was a what, what are we

  595. doing next, dad? And you know what, just a house.

  596. Sometimes he would do some different types of things.

  597. In fact, my father now I, I don't know that I was actually

  598. alive during this time. If I was, I was still just a

  599. bait. But he actually won the contract

  600. to paint the University of Florida's Florida field the

  601. swamp. At one time.

  602. We had pictures of him painting that.

  603. And I'm like, wow, that's kind of neat, you know, However,

  604. there would be different. And it was always kind of what's

  605. the new assignment? What do I do today?

  606. You know what? What are you asking me to do?

  607. And you know what? I was always pleased.

  608. You know what? My dad actually rewarded me.

  609. Now, he did take me to the bar and he should not have done

  610. that. I understand that.

  611. OK, I learned how to play pool there in the bar.

  612. OK, shouldn't have done that. He should not have done that,

  613. right? But he did provide for me after

  614. a long day work You who's and I could throw down some U hoos.

  615. The good news is it didn't mess with my mind and I had such a

  616. metabolism. It didn't mess with my body

  617. either. I could throw down some U hoos.

  618. I mean, I could line them up with the best of them, right?

  619. And so, you know, you shake that thing and pop that top man.

  620. It was in a glass bottle. This before they had them in

  621. cans. Cans are no good.

  622. Anyway, I'm just excited of all the assignments that are going

  623. to be associated with my life and your life.

  624. Your father is not boring. He wants you to work with him.

  625. Notice it says that we are heirs and Co heirs with Christ.

  626. There are assignments that we are to do and I love talking to

  627. dad on a daily basis. What's the assignment today?

  628. Where do you want us to go today?

  629. How are we going to accomplish this?

  630. Where are we going to go next? What do you want us to do?

  631. How do you want us to influence? What do you want to say?

  632. Amen. Because I love going to work

  633. with my natural dad even more so to be able to go to work with my

  634. natural, with my heavenly Father.

  635. In fact, Jesus said, don't you know, my Father's always working

  636. and I'm working too. I don't know if you think that

  637. he's just laying around. You think he's just sitting on a

  638. throne and that they are, you know, bringing him bonbons.

  639. You know, the cherifems and the Seraphim's are, you know,

  640. feeding him grapes, you know, and he's just, you know,

  641. everybody's just doing. No, he's working.

  642. He's aware of everything going on.

  643. He's, he's personally invested in all of his creation.

  644. You understand, he's so detailed about your life.

  645. We know that our father knows every hair on our head, or lack

  646. thereof. And right, He knows these

  647. things. He knows our detail.

  648. He is concerned about us. I mean, he's amazing and man, I

  649. just want to honor my dad. This is why the fear of the

  650. Lord's a big deal, because it's not.

  651. He said. He didn't give us a spirit of

  652. fear leading to bondage. I'm not afraid of my dad.

  653. I'm not afraid of Him, my Heavenly Father.

  654. I'm not afraid He's going to beat me, beat me down, knock me

  655. down, keep telling me how I can't arrive and make it.

  656. I have No Fear of that 'cause every time I get in His

  657. presence, He tells me how awesome I am.

  658. He tells me how much He cares about me.

  659. Why? Because again, as I'm following

  660. His word, how could he not? He loves His own word.

  661. He gets excited when his kids are doing His word right and so

  662. man, he loves to I love to be in his presence.

  663. He loves to talk to me. He loves to tell me about the

  664. great things that I can do with him for him and accomplish first

    1 John 3 chapter mention

  665. John chapter 3 verse one through three.

  666. I don't want to get too far ahead.

  667. He says this. Behold what manner of love the

  668. Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of

  669. God. Therefore the world does not

  670. know us, because it did not know Him.

  671. Hallelujah, you said, beloved. Now we are children of God, and

  672. it has not yet been revealed what we will be, but we will

  673. know when we when He is revealed.

  674. We shall be like Him, for He shall, for we shall see Him as

  675. He is. And everyone who has this hope?

  676. In Him purifies himself just as He is pure, So what manner of

  677. love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called

  678. children of God. This really amazing statement.

  679. The reason why this statement is true or as amazing is because

  680. the love God had for us was this.

  681. In the beginning when God created the heavens and the

  682. earth. Then he said let us make man in

  683. our image according to our likeness and let them that's

  684. both male and FEMA have dominion over the fish of the sea, the

  685. birds of the sky, over all the cattle, over all the earth, and

  686. over every creepy thing that creeps on the earth.

  687. He made both male and female to have dominion on the planet.

  688. That's his will, that's his purpose, that's his intent and

  689. he says Adam, demonstrate your love towards me by keeping my

  690. word, because that's how you I know you love me.

  691. If you love me, you'll keep my word.

  692. I provided every tree bearing fruit for you to eat, but of the

  693. tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat for

  694. the day you eat your you will surely die.

  695. When Adam ate the fruit, sin enter the world.

  696. We were cut off from our heavenly Father.

  697. All humanity was we were all born into sin.

  698. But our father says this, I want to call them children of God.

  699. So in order to do this I'm going to have to send my son.

  700. And so while we were yet sinners, Christ that what manner

  701. of love the Father has given to us that he had such a desire for

  702. us to be his children. He said there's only one way to

  703. redeem them back. I have to pay the price for

  704. death. Death has to be paid in full.

  705. Has to be. It has to be paid in full.

  706. So I'm going to have to send my son.

  707. I'll have to send my son in the flesh and he'll have to be

  708. perfect. I said he'll have to be perfect.

  709. He can't blow it. He's going to have to do exactly

  710. what I said. He cannot be like the first

  711. Adam. He's going to have to do exactly

  712. what I said. Are you hearing me?

  713. Matthew 548 says it this way. Therefore you are to be come on,

  714. say the word. Go ahead and say it.

  715. Say it just as your Father in heaven is.

  716. Now we struggle with this word perfect, right?

  717. Because we think of perfection. But if we actually look at this

  718. word and what it means, it literally means this.

  719. Therefore, you shall be mature just as your Father in heaven is

  720. mature, because when you are completely functioning in the

  721. maturity of the Word, then you'll be perfect in all your

  722. ways. Because here's the thing about

  723. the maturity of our Father. This is how mature he is.

  724. He's so mature, He never violates his own word.

  725. Now again, let's go back to the garden.

  726. He's seated on the throne. He has his crown.

  727. He comes off the throne with his crown down into the garden to

  728. spend time with his son Adam in the cool of the day.

  729. He gives his son instruction, right?

  730. He gives him power, dominion. He's able to take to have

  731. authority over the whole globe and how it functions and they

  732. are in complete relationship him, Adam and Eve on the earth.

  733. But the minute Adam eats a fruit has never made a mistake, never

  734. blown it, never disobeyed God ever.

  735. The father does not take off his crown and say, son, let's just

  736. act like it didn't happen. I'm going to just pretend it

  737. didn't happen. He doesn't do that.

  738. No, he says, I'm bound to my word, and you have disobeyed.

  739. Now, what position are you in now?

  740. Right when he says, where are you?

  741. What position are you in now? And so he takes a step back and

  742. he says, well, there's only one way to redeem.

  743. I'll have to send my own son, Jesus, the Word of God, in the

  744. flesh, and He'll have to be perfect in all his ways like I

  745. am. He's going to empty himself of

  746. His heavenly glory. He's going to put on a skin

  747. suit, and He's going to have to obey me as the first Adam was

  748. supposed to. He'll have to do that if I am

  749. going to be able to call them children of God.

  750. Wow, what love the Father has bestowed on us that he can look

  751. to his own son and say I'm going to need you to go pay that

  752. price. I mean it's just very difficult.

  753. I mean just the Bible says by mere creation, we know there's a

  754. father. The details just in creational

  755. and this is in a creation that is on an earth that has fallen

  756. and is under the influence of the devil.

  757. I mean, when I've gone to someplace, I'm like, if man who

  758. is lost can think of these things, what's it going to be

  759. like in the new earth? I mean, it's got to, it's going

  760. to have to be amazing how it will will translate out.

  761. But we need to be perfect as our heavenly Father.

  762. Maturity. Which brings us to Hebrews

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  763. chapter 12. Because he's our father #1 He's

  764. a rewarder, He's forgiving, He's merciful, He's anointed us, He's

  765. brought every provision to us. He'll never leave us nor forsake

  766. us. Our Father always has an answer.

  767. If we'll just seek Him, He will gladly give us the Kingdom here

  768. on the earth, function in it, flow in it.

  769. We are not limited to what we see.

  770. We can receive from our Father by faith all the resources of

  771. the Kingdom of God has made at our disposal because we are

  772. children of the King. And so in Hebrews chapter 12,

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  773. you have to understand that our heavenly Father because we even

  774. though we have come out of sin, Adam was still given

  775. instructions. And in Hebrews chapter 12 verse

    Hebrews 12 chapter mention

  776. five verse through 11, it says this.

  777. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you

  778. as to sons. Are you a child of God?

  779. Come on, y'all doing all right, let's almost start running

  780. through the crowd here in a second.

  781. I mean, it, it is kind of amazing that we're talking about

  782. our dad and, and I don't get a better response, which really

  783. tells me that you lack the understanding of how awesome

  784. your dad really is, that you really think that you're kind of

  785. doing this without him. And if you are, you're seriously

  786. lacking because he wants to be intricately involved in every

  787. aspect of your life. Now, listen, he's not getting

  788. hung up on. I wish you'd asked me what to

  789. wear today. I mean, he's not technically

  790. getting hung up on that. Are you understanding me?

  791. OK, but what? They're.

  792. But what? You do need to converse with

  793. him. He definitely wants to carry on

  794. a conversation. And he has greater plans for

  795. you. In fact, his plans for you are

  796. way more exciting than you could ever imagine.

  797. The problem is, is we've looked at this world and we've kind of

  798. decided how we want to go and we've never really asked Dad,

  799. what do you want? This is why I exhorted the

  800. parents in the beginning. When you're youth go and they're

  801. in an environment and they hear from God about a direction, do

  802. not squelch it with your idea of how they should live life on the

  803. earth. Don't do it, I mean help

  804. cultivate their sensitivity and ability to hear the father

  805. 'cause they're leaving you one day and you want them to know

  806. the voice of their dad. Cause the reality is you may

  807. have given birth to them, but you sure did not die for them.

  808. And again, even if you did die for them, it does nothing for

  809. them but prolong their life because you can't pay for their

  810. sin. Anyway, he goes on and says, my

  811. son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord.

  812. One translation says the the discipline of the Lord, which

  813. another way to say this, because the minute we say discipline, we

  814. immediately go to correction. And the reason why we go to

  815. correction is because all of us have blown, right?

  816. I can't even tell you how many times I've had a meeting in my

  817. office and the minute someone comes to my office and they're

  818. like, oh, I feel like I'm in the principal's office.

  819. I said, well, I'm not the principal, that's Kimberly

  820. Evans. So if I can take you there if

  821. you want to go number one. The second thing is, man, I feel

  822. like I'm in trouble. Why are you?

  823. Because I didn't call you in my office Because you were.

  824. Now, why is it that we feel like we need to be, we're being

  825. corrected all the time. Well, it's because we made so

  826. many mistakes. But you understand, our father

  827. does not lead with correction. He always leads with

  828. instruction. I've told our staff for years,

  829. listen, you may do something wrong.

  830. And if I've never communicated to you about something and all

  831. of a sudden I get in the room, hear about or whatever and that

  832. hits me, wow, we probably shouldn't do that.

  833. And I come to you and say, hey, this situation, we're going to

  834. need to kind of change how we do it.

  835. That is not correcting you. You had no context to make a

  836. different informed to say I can't tell you how many times a

  837. staff has said, well, if I only would have known.

  838. This is why I'm talking to you. Obviously, if you had known, you

  839. wouldn't have done it. I'm not correcting you.

  840. I'm just realizing, wow, I didn't give that instruction.

  841. And at the end of the day, they did it based upon what they

  842. knew. It seemed right to them.

  843. But now that I've evaluated it, that's probably not how we want

  844. to go. So I need to instruct you now

  845. that we're going to make a course correction now that you

  846. know the new instruction by all right that what you did was

  847. incorrect, but it wasn't incorrect when you did it

  848. because you thought it was the right thing to do with the

  849. tithe. And our Father has always given

  850. us instruction. He's trying to communicate.

  851. And that's why those who are led by the Spirit of God, these are

  852. sons of God. Why 'cause He's leading us.

  853. He's like, let me give you some instruction on how to handle

  854. this. Let me give you some instruction

  855. on what to do next. Let me give you some

  856. instruction. Now, if we do not do the

  857. instruction, then guess what happens?

  858. Now we're going to be corrected. Now, why is this important?

  859. Because I'm going to tell you right now, did Jesus ever blow

  860. it? But this, these verses apply to

  861. Jesus, and I'm going to prove that here in a second.

  862. My son, do not despise the chasing or instruction of the

  863. Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by him.

  864. Because again, if you don't follow the instruction, he's

  865. going to rebuke you. For whom the Lord what?

  866. For whom he what? For whom he what?

  867. So if you never correct your child in the natural, you're

  868. saying I don't love you. How in the world can you be a

  869. natural parent and never correct your children and act like

  870. you're giving them free expression, like you're a better

  871. parent for whom the Lord loves? He chastens or instructs,

  872. corrects and scourges every son whom he receives.

  873. I don't even have time to get into that scripture.

  874. If you can look it up for yourself.

  875. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons.

  876. For what son is there whom a father does not chase him?

  877. And, and this is like, what question?

  878. Like surely this is not the case on the planet.

  879. But you know what? This is the case on the planet.

  880. There's so many fatherless homes, there's so many fathers

  881. who have neglected their responsibility.

  882. But you know what? He's the Father to the

  883. fatherless. And let me tell you something,

  884. He will not neglect His responsibility, which means you

  885. cannot have a relationship with a Heavenly Father, 'cause we

  886. love the attributes of all the giving He does, the rewards, the

  887. forgiveness, the mercy. But you know what?

  888. He also brings instruction. And if you want to be called a

  889. child of God, you need to say teach me, Lord, teach me, give

  890. me instruction. I love it.

  891. I love that you love me, that you want to instruct me.

  892. But if you are without chasing our instruction of which all

  893. have have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not

  894. sons. So I'm I'm just amazed at Saints

  895. that say Happy Father's Day, call God the Father their

  896. father, but yet don't do not want to be in a congregation

  897. where instruction is communicated.

  898. And when instructions communicated, instruction always

  899. brings boundaries, and boundaries are what keeps you

  900. healthy. They are not prisons.

  901. They are what they are, guardrails that keep you from

  902. falling into death, guardrails that keep you.

  903. And let me just again for the analogy, just so you'll

  904. understand the, the all the things of the devil are way out

  905. here and we're stuck in this little bitty box with God.

  906. This is all we can do and everybody else gets to do

  907. whatever they want to do. And that's how the devil has

  908. sold this thing that you're really free if you're out here.

  909. But you understand, if you're following the devil, you're in

  910. bondage, you're the one stuck on the platform, You're the one

  911. that stuck on this little podium.

  912. Everybody else is out here free flowing, moving has way more at

  913. their disposal. But if you God has put a balance

  914. boundary around the deaf life is like, I don't want you to fall

  915. into this pit. You understand the devil's going

  916. into a pit. He's not going into a whole

  917. planet system. He doesn't get the universe and

  918. then we're stuck on a little planet Earth and everything else

  919. that was, you know, rebellious to God gets everything else.

  920. No, he gets stuck in a, in, in a, in a lake of fire in a lake.

  921. You get confined, you're in confinement.

  922. When I follow the father, I'm not confined.

  923. His creation becomes at my disposal.

  924. So furthermore, we have human fathers who corrected us and we

  925. paid them respect. Now we're in a generation today

  926. that this, this scripture doesn't apply to most people,

  927. unfortunately. OK, he says, shall we not much

  928. more readily be in subject to the Father of what are you a

  929. spirit? I said, Are you a spirit?

  930. So when he says Father of spirits and it is plural, that

  931. means then the Father is identifying that your spirit is

  932. like his spirit and that we should allow him to instruct us

  933. and correct us. Because in instructing us and

  934. correcting us, what will we receive in return will live for

  935. they in they indeed for a few days chasing us has seen best of

  936. them. But he for our for whose profit

  937. this is not this is not some kind of fatherless life.

  938. Let me tell you who's the boss. That is never his position when

  939. he's instructing you or correcting you for that matter.

  940. That's not his position. His position is I want you to be

  941. the best you. I know I created you.

  942. I know what's in you. I know your potential.

  943. I know what you can do. So that's his thought.

  944. Every time he says, hey, let's go this direction.

  945. Listen, if you follow this, we'll come out.

  946. This is for whose prophet? Our prophet that we may be

  947. partakers of His Holiness. Now, no chastening seems to be

  948. what? Well, sure, nobody wants to be

  949. told. Doesn't seem joyful for the

  950. present, but painful nevertheless.

  951. Afterward it yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those

  952. who have been. What?

  953. Aren't you glad he wants to train us?

  954. I said. Aren't you glad he wants to

  955. train us? So though our Father, he's our

  956. heavenly Father, He's awesome and I thank you that he is the

  957. best. In fact, some dads here today, I

  958. know that not only are they fathers in their home and

  959. they're raising their children, but they also do additional

  960. things like they'll coach their kids and stuff.

  961. You know, they'll be involved in that.

  962. And why do they do that? They do it for what purpose?

  963. We do it for the to try to pull out the best of that individual.

  964. Again, why do we place certain demands on our children in the

  965. home? Why?

  966. Because we want them to be able to function at a high level.

  967. And unfortunately, in many homes, we are doing no

  968. instruction. Our children, you know, a lot of

  969. children today are running their own homes.

  970. They're dictating what they're doing.

  971. And then when all of a sudden the parents like, hey, you're

  972. not going to do that or I need you to do something else, then

  973. all of a sudden they kick back. And then parents abandoned it

  974. because, you know, it was painful for their child, which,

  975. you know, if we actually go up a few verses, he'll say, now

  976. you've not resisted sin to the point of shedding blood.

  977. So what you consider a little pain is nothing compared to the

  978. pain Jesus went through in order to purchase you.

  979. And he did that through obedience.

  980. Amen. So we need to understand that

  981. our Father is coaching us to pull out the best of our lives.

  982. And I'm thankful for that. Father, what do I, what do I

  983. need to do? Just point it out.

  984. Show me. What can I do different?

  985. How can I improve here? What do I need to do?

  986. You know me, you know me. You know what's best for me, and

  987. you're a rewarder. You're so merciful.

  988. You're quick to forgive because again, when you instruct me or

  989. if you correct me, it doesn't feel good.

  990. I hate that it happened. I don't want to be a

  991. disappointment to you, but at the end of the day, I'm going to

  992. yield to you. I'm going to yield your

  993. instruction. I'm going to ask you to forgive

  994. me where I blew it. You're going to forgive me and

  995. act like it never happened, and then you're going to guide me

  996. the whole way to victory. That's my daddy, and that's why

  997. I'm not afraid to boldly come before the throne of grace

  998. because he's not there to beat me down.

  999. He's there to raise me up and he's going to give me

1000. instructions so that I can become the greatest person I

1001. could ever be. With that, I close with first

1002. Peter, chapter one. First Peter, chapter one.

1003. He's our Father as as next word as as next word as as.

1004. Isn't that interesting? So our Father expects us to

1005. obey. Yet you know, across our nation

1006. we water down the gospel of people who can never get it

1007. right. Let's just ask Jesus to come in

1008. our heart and save us. That way when we die, we go to

1009. heaven because we're going to be such a disappointment to God the

1010. whole time we're here. Yet the scripture talks about a

1011. generation of children that actually know how to obey on the

1012. planet. That it doesn't have to kick in

1013. when you get to heaven, that it can kick in down here.

1014. I mean, there is a, a generation of his children that are well

1015. able to obey and love it and love it, love it, love it.

1016. I mean, I, I've been in those services where all of a sudden

1017. something saying you're like, man, wow, I'm going to have to

1018. fix that now, right? I mean, it's one of those where

1019. you feel like you got your toes stepped on, right?

1020. They ripped your heart out, threw it back in, You know,

1021. you're like, you're devastated. You came to yourself.

1022. You're like, man, that's me. I got to fix that.

1023. And yet God's like, I got it fixed.

1024. I already got it fixed. I just need you to follow me.

1025. I got it fixed. And then those moments were like

1026. man, praise God, I'm going to obey you because as obedient

1027. children, not conforming yourself to the former lusts as

1028. in your aren't you glad we're not ignorant, but as he who

1029. called you is what what is he you also be in in in all your

  1030. conduct. Woo.

1031. This is Jesus said, listen, don't you know me and the father

1032. are one. He said, if you've seen me,

1033. you've seen you know what we can say on the planet if you've seen

1034. me now again, I understand if someone examines US 24/7, the

1035. rest of our lives, we're probably going to emanate

1036. something that's not exactly like our Father.

1037. But you understand we can arrive to a place of maturity in him

1038. like our our King Jesus that the majority of people when they

1039. come across us, if they've seen you, then they basically have

1040. seen the Father because as he's holy, you're holy cause

1041. obedience demonstrates your Father in heaven.

1042. He said, because it is written be holy for I am what I'm holy.

1043. And if you call on the Father who without partiality judges

1044. according to each one's work. Conduct yourself throughout the

1045. time of your stay here. I love this throughout the time

1046. of your stay here. So what do you think God's

1047. expectation for us here, our time here is that we'll be

1048. obedient. I have three children myself and

1049. you know what, it seemed as if the the furthest, the youngest

1050. one did a lot of learning from the two previous because we give

1051. instruction across the board, right?

1052. Here's the instruction. You know, it didn't take long

1053. for my youngest to say, well, I'm not going to do that because

1054. I see the consequence that happened to the oldest or the

1055. middle child because Dad will do what he says.

1056. And if you act like that, you're going to get this and wisdom

1057. showed up right. Have you noticed that some

1058. children you don't have to correct as much because they

1059. learn by watching others being corrected.

1060. Some you have to correct more because you know, God love them.

1061. It's part of their personality if they can ever get over to the

1062. Lord. But you know, until that process

1063. comes, you're like constantly bringing some instruction.

1064. Amen. But he's telling us that we

1065. while our stays here is that we can function like him that our

1066. Father models so clearly in his word who he is that we but by

1067. faith can model it in the earth as well.

1068. You know what, you will have arrived to where people say,

1069. man, if I didn't know any better, it's as if you're like

  1070. God. And that's a humbling thought

1071. process because I am the model, my father in my husband

1072. relationship, in my parenting relationship, in my employee

1073. relationship, in my community relationship, in my pastoral or

1074. Apostolic relationship. There's a lot to have to model

1075. in front a lot. However, it's possible and I

1076. don't want to settle and say, well, I can't do it.

1077. Well, that's what rebellion says.

1078. He says I can. He literally says I can.

1079. And you know why he says I can. Look at verse 18.

1080. Knowing that you are not redeemed with corruptible things

1081. like silver or gold from your aimless conduct received by

1082. traditions from your. This is why love my dad, love my

1083. dad, but the traditions I learned from him are not the

1084. traditions I'm keeping. And you know very well in my

1085. life, one tradition I chose to break from my father, and that

1086. was the the tradition of dying the same age as the previous

1087. father. My dad met the goal.

1088. He died the same age as his own dad because he always said I'll

1089. die the same age as my dad and did.

1090. And that was 51. I'd have been dead three years

1091. ago. I broke that tradition.

1092. I'm like, I'm done with it. No, I got a different daddy.

1093. I got different bloodline. In fact, it promises me long

1094. life. 51 is not long people to you young.

1095. You may think I'm old, but I am not all right.

1096. And I just want to, you know, help all of y'all.

1097. You think it's old till you get there.

1098. And I started living eternal life.

1099. When I started living in eternal life, I realized, man, I'm going

1100. to be around forever. So again, I don't care if I'm

1101. 120, I'm still just the pup, right?

1102. I just got to work my body so that I don't look like I'm old.

1103. I can function, right? All right, so I've been

1104. redeemed, guys. You've been redeemed.

1105. Your daddy redeemed you. So the expectation to be holy

1106. like my daddy is easy because I've been redeemed not with

1107. corruptible things, but with the precious blood of Jesus.

1108. How much more do I honor my father on a Father's Day then to

1109. make up my mind? Dad, I am not going to be a

1110. disappointment to you while I'm in the earth.

1111. As you do, I'll do as you say, I'll say as you instruct, I'll

1112. move, and as you correct, I'll get it right.

1113. Because you paid for me that while I was in rebellion and

1114. should have never been in your family, you came after me.

1115. You made a way from me. You didn't force me back though.

1116. He didn't come run me down and drag me home.

1117. He didn't throw me in the house. He didn't feed my flesh.

1118. My father didn't love me like that.

1119. He didn't say, well, I'm going to give to you anyway.

1120. Now he blessed me in certain ways to let him know I'm there

1121. along the way. He was like, that ain't no good.

1122. But I, I tell you, if you'll come home, if you'll come to me,

1123. it'll be different. And he provided a way.

1124. Ultimately, he'll let me go my own direction.

1125. But man, I'm glad that I saw that the blood of Jesus and the

1126. love that my dad have for me to make away is worth me not only

1127. coming home, but staying home and following His voice.

1128. Because in the natural I have to admit their days, I'd like to

1129. hear my natural dad's voice just one more time and been nice.

1130. There've been some situations in my life that I desired that I

1131. had a natural father who knew the word that I could have

1132. called and said dad. Now, thanks be to God, he gave

1133. me some spiritual natural men that I do that with now, and I'm

1134. thankful for that because I've found that my my family is those

1135. who do the will of the Father right.

1136. But I aspire that my children will always my grandchildren and

1137. my great grandchildren. And should the Lord tarry my

1138. great, great grandchildren, because I'm young, I could

1139. probably go to a great, great, great grandchild, maybe even

1140. more than that. I could probably get another

1141. grade in there. I mean, I'm holding out, man,

1142. for the transforming. I mean, I'm not cutting this

1143. thing short for nothing. I mean, I don't want to get in a

1144. casket one bit. I want to be transformed in the

1145. moment of the twinkling of an eye.

1146. I just decided, let's hold on. Let's just believe God that it

1147. comes in my lifetime, right Next, you know, if I go to 120

  1148. years, I mean, that's 66 years from now.

1149. I can do that. I can do that, right?

1150. All right, let's pray. Father, we love you, we honor

1151. you. You are heavenly Father, You're

1152. so good. We look back and starting to
