Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast
-
from St. Augustine, FL.
-
Now enjoy this message. Hallelujah.
-
Now, now we're ready. Luke chapter 12 verse 32 says
-
this. Do not be afraid.
-
Do not be afraid. Who's talking?
-
Come on, who's talking? Who's talking Jesus?
-
So why do we do things Jesus tells us not to do?
-
If you do things that Jesus tells you not to do, then it's
-
sin. If you do not keep His word,
-
it's sin. Jesus says do not be afraid we
-
He has not given us the spirit of fear.
-
There's nothing going on in the planet today that would cause us
-
any fear or trepidation. We do not have fear.
-
We are not to be afraid. And why is that?
-
He said, do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father
-
has chosen gladly to give you the Kingdom, not heaven.
-
Although heaven comes if you leave your body, you'll get
-
there, right? And you'll get there as long as
-
Jesus is there 'cause He's not going to stay there forever.
-
But at the end of the day, the Kingdom of God you can access
-
now and it's He loves for you to have access to His Kingdom.
-
And when you have access to his Kingdom, there is No Fear.
-
There's No Fear, there's No Fear.
-
There's No Fear because I'm not even afraid of what man can do
-
to me. I'm not even afraid that if a
-
man came and martyred me, killed me for my faith in Christ, it
-
doesn't matter because I can shed my blood here.
-
He thinks he's taken me out of the earth, but my blood is still
-
talking, and it will talk for generations, so much so that the
-
great Court will show up and try that individual for the crime of
-
murdering me. If they do not repent.
-
If they repent, I'll welcome them, those who killed me with
-
open arms, as my brethren, because they were deceived,
-
lost, and didn't realize it. But if they do not, my King will
-
judge them and put them into the lake of fire.
-
No blood is ever spilt and not reckoned with.
-
Never happens. All right, so at the end of the
-
day, what am I afraid of? I'm not afraid of who's in
-
power. I'm not afraid who gets elected.
-
I'll be a part of the process. I'd look for righteous people,
-
people who are are sensitive to the word, who are favorable to
-
the church. I'm definitely going to vote for
-
those individuals. I do not vote for parties.
-
I vote for individuals that have favored towards the church and
-
the calls of God. However, if something gets in
-
the mix and they do not arrive into government power, it
-
doesn't stop my government because the king is on the
-
throne. He's not been voted into power.
-
He's not going to be dethroned. He still's going to win and be
-
victorious and he's with me. And if God is for me, who can be
-
against me? So do not be afraid little
-
flock. Your Father has chosen gladly to
-
give you the Kingdom. Now here's the thing, if you
-
don't understand Kingdom, you can't get it.
-
Jesus says this in Matthew 417. We're using words here that most
-
people don't understand because again, at the end of the day,
-
they assume Kingdom is heaven. He said from that time Jesus
-
began to preach and say repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at
-
hand. Now there's a Kingdom of heaven
-
and there's a Kingdom of God, but there's a Kingdom that
-
command that is already a manifestation in heaven and he
-
wants that Kingdom to manifest in the earth.
-
We know this because in Matthew chapter six, he says when you
-
pray, pray this way. Our Father, that's your Father,
-
my Father, and Jesus is Father, our Father, who art in heaven,
-
hallowed be your name, your Kingdom come, your will be done
-
on earth as it is in heaven. So Kingdom can't be heaven
-
because Kingdom can be in the earth.
-
Kingdom is the government rule of the king, it's his domain.
-
So there is no such thing as separation of church and state
-
in the Bible because the state of the church is the Kingdom.
-
In fact the the church is the legislative assembly.
-
If you read the passions translation and again if you
-
break it down in the Greek, it literally means that.
-
So they actually actually interpreted that phrase church
-
correctly. Ecclesia or ecclesia.
-
It is called out ones or separated ones.
-
It was not a new term. It was a term Jesus used
-
intentionally to say Rome has a called out one or a Senate, a
-
legislative assembly, a body of governing people.
-
I I have one too. We call it church, which is
-
giving it a religious connotation.
-
But in God's ears, church is not religious.
-
It's actually the embassy by which all the ambassadors come
-
together to hear from the home country.
-
So when we go out into this world, this planet among people
-
who are lost, separated from God, we say, I do not represent
-
myself, but my king in the words that I speak.
-
I only say what he says because I don't represent me, I
-
represent him. And when we actually live like
-
that, then the Kingdom power of God can show up in our lives and
-
through our lives. Now here's the thing, you can't
-
represent a Kingdom if you're not listening to the one who's
-
king of the Kingdom. So that's why Jesus says repent.
-
Repent is not a religious word. It literally means change your
-
thinking. One translation says it this
-
way. Side with my party, what would
-
be a case in point today, if you are a registered Democrat and
-
you got you, you left that party and went over and registered as
-
a Republican or vice versa. That is changing sides.
-
And at this point, those two particular parties are, you
-
know, almost are on polar opposites from each other.
-
So we were in the domain of darkness.
-
We were under the power and sway of the enemy.
-
Our Daddy, our Father, is the father of lies of which we were
-
children of because all of sin and fallen short of the glory of
-
God. We all committed rebellion and
-
treason against the crown of God, and we were under the sway
-
of our Father the devil. But Jesus, while we were yet
-
sinners, died for us. Paid the payment of the penalty
-
that was communicated to Adam in the garden.
-
Should he eat the fruit. That that word is still in play
-
today, still in play, and will be acted on.
-
It's still in play. Adam, if you eat of the fruit,
-
you're going to die. He ate the fruit.
-
He became a fall in a fallen nature.
-
He lost dominion. He gave his dominion over to the
-
devil whom he serves. Then all humanity now, because
-
we are born of that seed, is lost, separated from God, dead.
-
However, God said on that day after the fall of man, he said
-
I'll bring my seed through the woman and he's going to crush
-
the enemy, which means I'm going to pay the price associated with
-
death. It has to be paid however you
-
just don't receive it unless you bow to Jesus cause Lord is not a
-
religious word, it is supreme in authority.
-
Jesus is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
-
We are leaving the allegiance to the devil and his realm and his
-
Kingdom and his way of doing and his behavior and his thinking
-
and it all that he does. And we are bowing our knee to
-
Jesus Christ the King because he paid the price to live, berate
-
us and allow us to get back into the position that Adam wants
-
hell, which is a position of dominion.
-
OK, so a Kingdom to find. Is this a Kingdom?
-
Is the government influence of a king over his territory,
-
impacting it with his personal will, purpose and intent,
-
producing citizens expressed, expressing the culture, values,
-
morals, lifestyles, reflecting the King's nature?
-
So Jesus said, My father has chosen gladly to give you the
-
Kingdom, but you understand this, You can't have a Kingdom,
-
that you're not functioning in it as the Kingdom will allow.
-
The Kingdom has a value, a moral, a lifestyle associated
-
with it. In fact, you weren't allowed
-
into that Kingdom with your old nature.
-
No man could get into that Kingdom on his own merits.
-
No one could do their own personal good to be acknowledged
-
by God. That you can get over my Kingdom
-
and serve here. It was not available for all
-
have sinned. However, Christ died so he made
-
the way. He said I'm the door, you can
-
come on in. He told Nicodemus.
-
He said if a man is born again or born from above, he can enter
-
or see the Kingdom. Now, again, God never intended
-
for you just to enter and stand at the threshold like most
-
Christians do. They, they leave the domain of
-
darkness. You know, this would be the
-
door. They're at the threshold.
-
They get in, they're inside the house, but they're in the
-
threshold. And so they're like, I'm born
-
again. But they do this, you know, and
-
they do it so much that they're like, they're living like this.
-
They got their little pinky toe. I mean, when I say pinky toe,
-
I'm talking about the nail on the pinky toe.
-
Still on the threshold. You remember Jesus, I called on
-
you once. That's not lordship.
-
Lordship is I'm in the house. Shut the door to that.
-
I'm done with that. I'm done with that.
-
Now here's the thing, when you get in and you're done with
-
that, you don't think this way yet.
-
That's why the Kingdom says repent.
-
Jesus saying your thinking is completely off, but I can change
-
it. I can change it.
-
So what you can't do is get your spirit right.
-
Only God could do that. And when you call on the name of
-
the Lord, supreme authority to be saved, you become a new
-
creature in Christ. The old passes away.
-
That means that dead spirit is evicted from your skin suit and
-
cut off from your soul. You are three-part B.
-
It is cut off from that. Then he puts a new spirit in
-
you. Not renovated, not remodeled,
-
brand new. And it looks like Jesus.
-
Hallelujah. And only God could do that.
-
But then he says now that this spirit is alive to me and like
-
me, I'm going to move the Holy Ghost in.
-
And now He's going to start teaching you.
-
Why? Because your soul still has
-
residual thinking from the old way of living.
-
And we've got to clean up the attic.
-
Some of y'all need to clean up the attic.
-
All right, so the Bible tells us the saving of our soul is ours.
-
We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
-
It is not working out. So our spirit man's right with
-
God so that we're right with God.
-
Only God could do that. But we are working out our mind,
-
our soul realm to get in line with our new created spirit who
-
can hear God, wants to hear God, and is not in any position to
-
want us in our new spirit. Man in Christ will resist
-
temptation every time. It's that strong every time.
-
If if you falter in a temptation, you've done it
-
within your mind realm, in your soul realm, because you started
-
looking at the scene instead of remembering who you are.
-
All right, so tonight then we need to talk about another
-
Kingdom principle. You know, the last couple
-
Wednesdays we talked about the Kingdom Code of Ethics
-
principle. If you weren't here, you can go
-
online and listen to it. But tonight I want to remind you
-
about the Kingdom education principle.
-
And that is the education system is designed to transfer,
-
reinforce and teach with repetition, say with repetition,
-
say with repetition, say with repetition, say with repetition,
-
the laws, the values, morals and manners of the king and the
-
Kingdom to succeeding generations and new citizens
-
with repetition. So you know, the church has this
-
problem. When I say the church, I don't
-
know that I'm saying the one Jesus is building.
-
But people that go to church that call themselves believers,
-
they are only concerned about where they're going to go when
-
they die. So they know that if I that if I
-
accept Jesus as Savior, could we love Savior Jesus?
-
He saved me from going to hell. Lord Jesus, a whole nother ball
-
game. Whole nother ball game.
-
Because we love Savior Jesus. Because again, we love anything
-
that we do wrong and someone saves us and keeps us from
-
wrong, but yet we don't actually have to change.
-
We like that kind of saving Lord is a whole another ball game
-
because now you've got to yield your will, your thoughts, your
-
way of doing. And some of us just think we're
-
way smarter than God after salvation.
-
Now we weren't smart enough to get in without him, but now that
-
we're in, we're smarter than him to stay there and to behave like
-
we want to. We want to teach Jesus doctrine.
-
So the Lord says, I'm going to bring you into here.
-
You're going to be alive unto me through your spirit.
-
But we're going to have to change your thinking.
-
Got to get your mind right. You need to go to class and in
-
order to go to class, you have to go through repetition.
-
But again, what happens? Most believers, you know, they
-
just want to go on to the next thing.
-
They don't want to keep hearing the same stuff.
-
The problem is if you do not know the concept of addition or
-
or multiplication, let me go ahead and get over into English
-
'cause I'm dealing with that grammar right now.
-
You understand if you don't understand about simple
-
sentences, complex sentences or clauses, I mean, and I did not
-
know, I have to change my thinking.
-
OK, so again, at the end of the day, some of you went to school,
-
you took precalculus like I did, but if I put that test in front
-
of you, you would fail. And why would you fail?
-
Because you lack the repetition to keep the subject there.
-
So in the natural, we know if we don't keep a repetition, we lose
-
what we have. Same thing in the realm of the
-
gym. It was your body.
-
If you don't keep a repetition with your body, you lose it.
-
I, I can testify, I let go in March when we went to the
-
Mediterranean. Everything is healthier there.
-
We're going to eat it all 13 lbs later.
-
How do I gain 13 lbs with nothing but healthy food?
-
Because you can't pull off restraints.
-
Because the fat cells that I suck dry and said you can't be
-
fat anymore in my body, right? These particular cells, they
-
found a way. They found a way.
-
They found a way to come back. Well, I fed them.
-
Whatever you feed will find a way.
-
Are you hearing me? Yeah.
-
So again, when we come in and have certain subjects, it's
-
amazing how quick a believer will check out.
-
Oh, I know you don't know, 'cause you're failing in life.
-
You fail with your emotion issue with your spouse, you're failing
-
at work. You know, you're not hanging on.
-
You need to say whoa, this is a great opportunity for me to
-
reinforce and re strengthen so that when I get out there, I
-
don't fail in this capacity. So there's no element honestly
-
of our spirit, of our nature. And I it includes the spirit.
-
The reality is in the spirit, God has done everything in you
-
at once at salvation. You are the righteousness of God
-
in Christ. It is there, but it will not be
-
released unless you develop it, period.
-
There is a process. I'm not going to preach on this.
-
Pastor Marsha is going to preach on some spiritual growth coming
-
up and starting next Wednesday. But yet when you get into the
-
Kingdom of God, you are babe in Christ.
-
It says that. That doesn't make you a mature
-
believer. In fact, Christ is coming back
-
for the church without spot or wrinkle for a mature church.
-
Well, why isn't he back yet? Because apparently we have not
-
matured. And then you can go into some
-
congregations and you feel like you're at a preschool.
-
You want to know where what the preschool churches look like?
-
Read Ephesians chapter 6, verse one through verse four.
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
It'll tell you the elementary principles.
-
And if that's all the doctrine, the church ministers, they, they
-
are willfully keeping their congregation in a childlike
-
state spiritually, although their spirit man wants to be
-
giants and grow and mature and take dominion over their soul
-
and their body. But you got to train that that
-
doesn't come just because you're born again.
-
It gives you access to it. Are you hearing me?
-
So Matthew 2818 to 20 says this. And Jesus came up and spoke to
-
them, saying, all authority has been given to me in heaven and
-
on earth. Go therefore and make what make
-
what? Come on make what and all of all
-
the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, the
-
Holy Spirit teaching them, teaching them to observe all
-
that I commanded you. And lo, I'm with you always,
-
even to the end of the age. Now here's the thing.
-
This is how the modern day church has changed us.
-
I'm going to give you the modern day.
-
Let me, I'm going to give you the US Christian Church
-
interpretation. And Jesus came out, spoke to
-
them and says authority has been given to me in heaven and on
-
earth only to me. Go therefore and make converts
-
of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son,
-
the Holy Spirit, letting them know where they're going to go
-
when they're die because they're sure not going to be able to
-
accomplish it while they're here.
-
And whether they do what I say or not, it's really irrelevant
-
because all I care about is that they're born again.
-
And lo, I'm with you. Even to the end of the age.
-
Because I'm not concerned about your spiritual growth, I'm only
-
concerned about where are you going to go when you die, which
-
is every other religions statement.
-
That was never Jesus's platform. Jesus never asked the crowd once
-
where are you going to go when you die and he never said that.
-
I'm just saying as anchor fake church, you need to abandon that
-
witnessing tool. You need to abandon that.
-
You need to become more well versed in the Kingdom so that
-
you so that you can live it, demonstrate it and then
-
articulate it in a way so that people will want to come into
-
the Kingdom today instead of waiting till they're on their
-
deathbed. And scare tactics is not what
-
gets people in the Kingdom. Where would you go today if you
-
died? Well, if they're lost, they
-
don't know. I mean, they just have their own
-
issue. And again, at the end, why do we
-
limit God's power? God's only powerful enough to
-
keep you from going to hell, but he sure can't do nothing with
-
you down here on the earth with the devil.
-
And that's exactly how most people live.
-
But he said go make what disciples.
-
Disciples is different. It means to become a pupil and
-
roll as a scholar, say scholar, say scholar.
-
Now scholar is not some fly by. I'm going to study the night
-
before the test, but I haven't been listening during the
-
classes anyway. And so I'm going to cram for an
-
exam. So when I get there, I pass
-
enough. Then I forget it because now
-
that subject's done and we can go on to the next thing.
-
And this is how believers, how do I know this?
-
They're in trouble. So they go cramming scripture
-
and cramming the Airways of their social media.
-
Please pray for me. I need a prayer chain.
-
We need something to happen and they're cramming this and God is
-
merciful. He's long-suffering, He is good,
-
He's benevolent. He can still do things for his
-
children because he's trying to get them to identify.
-
I do this all the time. I'll do this all the time to him
-
who believes. However, when Christ is sitting
-
there, they live their own life because I know where I'm going
-
to go when I die. Don't talk to me about anything.
-
What can you teach me anyway? Then crisis comes and then they
-
come to you because you actually live it and you get a little
-
tired, like I'm not praying for you.
-
I mean, I understand you do, but sometimes you think that, right?
-
Why am I praying for you now? Sometimes the Lord can say don't
-
pray for him because God himself is not going to be abused, taken
-
advantage of, taken for granted, manipulated.
-
You can't manipulate God. You don't manipulate God through
-
wistful wishful thinking or tears.
-
God's not moved by tears, He's moved by faith.
-
Are you hearing me? So we are to make disciples.
-
Now, in order to become a disciple, you must be born
-
again. You're going to have to be
-
converted. You're going to have to come out
-
of the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of his beloved Son.
-
But the reason why you're coming out is so that you can become a
-
scholar, a scholar. I said a scholar.
-
And you know what? I understand that we have
-
natural education because you understand the church at one
-
point was the leader in educating humanity.
-
Well, then the natural government got involved.
-
Now we have what we call public school.
-
And so the government says we'll educate them, and now we're
-
going to actually educate them without any reference to God.
-
So now we have a Society of people that are wise in their
-
own estimation, lifted up in pride cause knowledge puffs up,
-
you know, and as a result of that, you know, they are so
-
educated, so full of wisdom based upon natural things, but
-
have no acknowledgement towards God.
-
And as a result of that, there's this huge disconnect.
-
So what's happened? Because you were trained that
-
way, when you come to church, you don't have the because you'd
-
hated going to school anyway. Very few people in this room
-
love school. Couldn't wait to get there.
-
Very few people. So the disdain of that makes
-
this a disdain because we don't want to be lectured.
-
We don't have to hear. We don't have to yet.
-
This is life. Peter's like, where am I going
-
to go? You have the words of life.
-
If you don't see what's being ministered at the body that God
-
has placed you in in order to educate you so you can glad
-
because he gladly wants to give you the Kingdom and access to
-
the Kingdom, then you're going to miss out and it's only
-
because of a lack of self restraint and understanding the
-
value of the word of God in your life.
-
So Doctor Miles Monroe said this in in his book Applying the
-
Kingdom. He said learning is more than
-
mental knowledge of facts and information.
-
The knowledge must be reproducible.
-
In practical terms, this means demonstrating the ability to
-
perform the action learned as well as teach it to someone else
-
so that they can learn it also. That's powerful because again,
-
what we do if we don't watch out is we come just to go through a
-
class. All right, we have new Anchor
-
Faith Life classes starting July 7th.
-
You can go into our guest relations and register for those
-
now. But we have Anchor Faith Life
-
classes not so that you can because we don't give
-
certificates for that. You don't get a little
-
certificate at the end of it to say you complete because people
-
just love to get their little certificates, right?
-
They love to get their little degrees.
-
They love to get their little stuff.
-
You know, again, most people have degrees on their wall
-
they're not even functioning in. They gave the state or that
-
institution 10s of thousands of dollars to receive a degree in a
-
subject matter that they do not function in.
-
And I'm supposed to be impressed with you that I should hire you
-
in another echelon for a totally different just because you have
-
a degree. I could say, well, you weren't
-
smart enough to get a degree that you were actually going to
-
function in the rest of your life because what you're trained
-
in, you're not even doing. So you're no different than
-
someone who has no degree in the position I'm hiring you.
-
So why am I giving you credit for a degree that of something
-
that I'm putting you in now and you're not even trained to do
-
and it's all over the place? You must have a bachelor's to
-
apply or a master's no matter what it is as long as you have
-
it. And yet people are hiring people
-
all the time, yet hiring them in positions that they were never
-
trained in? Well, heck, you could walk off
-
the street and do that same in anyway you can go ahead and look
-
it up yourself. The percentage of people who are
-
actually working within the degree field they have they they
-
received, you're going to be shocked.
-
You're going to be shocked. So Proverbs 35 and six says this
-
trust in the Lord with all your heart.
-
Do not lean on your own understanding in all your ways.
-
Acknowledge him and he will what make your path straight.
-
Now this is really this right here is very problematic a lot
-
of times and again, I I I have an honorary degree, OK, but it's
-
not because I haven't done the work OK, so there's a couple
-
ways you can get them right. You can pay money for them, sit
-
in the actual classes or you. Can do the work yourself.
-
And it be recognized that you've done that work within that
-
particular field and as a result of that you haven't.
-
I actually the degree that I have is within the field that
-
I'm doing. OK.
-
With that being said, I did go to Bible school to be trained.
-
They just could not issue degrees at the time.
-
But I'm well equipped because of that.
-
Ultimately, a degree issuing university.
-
As you know, FCU gave me a doctorate few years ago of which
-
I have written eight books, right?
-
We have authored 8 books. And again, I didn't panel
-
myself, but I sure did do the studying because anyone that was
-
a part of the project had my content.
-
And I'll just tell you right now, people who are on the best
-
selling authors of The New York Times, which is kind of a
-
gimmick anyway, but most of them did not sit down and pin their
-
own books. All right.
-
With that being said, he said do not lean to your own
-
understanding which tells us we should never put confidence in
-
our own personal work ethic where you put more value in a
-
degree you have than in what you're receiving by revelation
-
from God. I'm not downplaying the study.
-
Again, if you're called to be a brain surgeon, please go study
-
how to do it. I really don't want you to show
-
up and say I saw something on YouTube.
-
Cause seriously, how many of you go to YouTube?
-
Yes, you're going to YouTube on how to fix things in your house.
-
You're not calling the plumber, You're not calling an
-
electrician, you're not calling us.
-
Whatever. You're looking at a mechanic,
-
you're trying to figure it out yourself.
-
Somebody's got on there. You don't know who they are.
-
You don't even know if they can actually fix the thing that
-
they're telling you to fix. And by all abandonment of faith,
-
you begin to rip your whole tear down all of your brake system on
-
your vehicle. I mean, seriously, some of them
-
don't. You don't even go to the end of
-
the video to make sure they don't say, man, I didn't know
-
what I was doing because he's like, oh, here's one.
-
We'll start here. Now take this, OK?
-
And you start tearing it off and you don't know how it ends yet.
-
That's faith, people. That's a confident persuasion
-
that someone you don't know is going to lead you down the right
-
path to completion. Oh Hallelujah and all our ways
-
we are to acknowledge Him and make our paths straight, and
-
that is after salvation. But again, if Jesus is only
-
where am I going to go when I die, then you don't take that
-
serious. Obviously we do, but many don't
-
take that serious because they've got it covered.
-
I know where I'm going to go when I die.
-
The rest will work itself out. Well let's go on.
-
Proverbs 1412 says there is a way which seems right to a man,
-
but it's bend is the way of death.
-
So again, the Lord's life before me, everything you thought was
-
right was actually wrong. It just led to death.
-
And I'm here to correct this thinking so that it will be
-
different. First Corinthians chapter 2
-
verse 14 says, But a natural man does not accept the things of
-
the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot
-
understand them because they are what spiritually appraised.
-
Again, we already know on the natural.
-
If we do not through repetition keep things in front of us, we
-
can lose that information and knowledge because no longer are
-
we practicing it. We are not keeping it in front
-
of us. OK, how much more the things of
-
the Spirit, because God never intended for you to learn His
-
Word for trivia purposes only. If you ever get around the
-
spiritual elites, you know how I call them spiritual elites?
-
Because they ask what I consider stupid questions.
-
And I say that because it comes across like, you know, they want
-
to attain to some kind of higher revelation.
-
And here's one of them. Did Adam and Eve have a belly
-
button? That is the dumbest thing ever
-
because knowledge of that doesn't do anything for your
-
faith. Have you you've been around?
-
They always try to ask these obscure questions to try to seem
-
and, which makes me think. That's a trivia person.
-
This is a trivia Christian. 'Cause they're going to let me
-
know, you know who killed David, They're going to let me know
-
about Noah and his family. They're going to give me all the
-
talking points. They're going to try to impress
-
me by telling me who Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in their
-
original names were, right? I mean, they're going to want to
-
be impressive. They're going to exegesis,
-
they're going to want to break down Greek stuff and all this.
-
But then you see them in life. They can't handle their
-
emotions. They can't handle conflict, they
-
can't handle stress. A situation comes and they freak
-
out. It takes them so much time to
-
recover. Where's your knowledge of who
-
God saved in the flood now? And how important is that belly
-
button right now? How important is that
-
Hallelujah? I said Hallelujah.
-
We need to hunger for this spiritual appraisement.
-
Proverbs 26 says this, for the Lord gives wisdom.
-
From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
-
From his what? Where's that at?
-
Because you're not looking at Jesus.
-
So where's his mouth at today? It's the Word, and if you're not
-
in the word, he's not talking to you.
-
Proverbs, 1514. The mind of the intelligence
-
seeks knowledge. Now again these verses, you
-
know, I'm using them, you know, just portions of them because
-
again, the mouth of the full feeds on on folly and man,
-
there's plenty of people that again are feeding on folly
-
because again, they don't care about any other thing about God
-
and how to overcome in life. They just know I know where I'm
-
going to go when I die. And so they miss out on the
-
Kingdom God wants to gladly give them.
-
Now, God is not in a delayed program.
-
There are things he's strategically doing because of
-
humanity and there are dispensations that ultimately
-
here's why all these dispensations change.
-
They are progressive revelations of God.
-
In the very first one, which was Adam and Eve in the garden, it
-
was heaven and earth exactly alike, perfect.
-
There's no change between the two.
-
He, they could, they could, He could calm down, no issues, no
-
conflict, no sin, everything. And he had knowledge like no
-
one's no one on earth has ever had.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying? Which lets us know then because
-
he ate fruit in that environment.
-
There is no I'll forgive you, son.
-
You've never blown it moment in that environment.
-
It was cut off. Love put Adam out the garden
-
with his wife. No second chance in that moment.
-
Now, that doesn't mean Adam couldn't believe that God
-
through his conversation. I'm going to send my seed, a
-
messiah's coming. Someone's going to come and
-
deliver me, and I'm going to be able to come.
-
Because we know there were people in Abraham's bosom that
-
Jesus delivered. And all those people were the
-
righteous dead. They were believing for the
-
Savior, they believing for the King.
-
And they were in a place that was not the grave, not where
-
torment was. They were in a different
-
location awaiting the death, burial and then resurrection of
-
Jesus. OK and by all rights Adam and
-
Eve could could have been in there.
-
Bible doesn't say it, but they could have been OK.
-
The point is, is that sin entered the world.
-
The whole system changed because of one failure immediately.
-
But then we get into other dispensations where God begins
-
to reveal things in a different way.
-
In essence, He's putting man in so many conditions how God's
-
revealing himself, then he holds them accountable to how He's
-
revealed himself specifically. We are in a dispensation now
-
that is that is more. How do I want to say it is at a
-
higher level than the old covenant?
-
It's not. It's not more tolerant.
-
Can I say that it's not more tolerant, It's at a higher level
-
because in the old covenant, they weren't alive to the
-
Spirit. They were dead, and there were
-
only three types of individuals that had the Holy Ghost come
-
upon them, and the sprinkling of blood did a lot.
-
It didn't save them, it didn't redeem them in its totality, but
-
it did keep a covenant around them.
-
However, we are in a new covenant, a better covenant, and
-
if we're in a better covenant, then that means we have more
-
responsibility in this covenant, not less.
-
And and the education principle of the Kingdom, The king in his
-
writings to us through the apostle Paul mainly, but in
-
others in Jude and John and in Paul and Peter, they all deal
-
with these doctrines that try to put you in a lower state instead
-
of the higher state to where you think you can come in and live
-
like you used to. And God tolerates it.
-
He does not tolerate that. He expects you to live different
-
because what excuse do you have? You're born of God and the Holy
-
Ghost lives in you. He lives in you.
-
So I don't understand why a believer would want to live such
-
a sub level life. And the only reason they do is
-
because they're still a babe. Because babes don't care about
-
nobody but themselves when the baby comes out of the womb.
-
Doesn't care about Mama. Although Mama loves a baby.
-
Going crazy over the baby. But the baby's not saying mom
-
now, before this thing. Starts.
-
What would you? How would you like to sleep at
-
night? What are your hours?
-
Because I really want to make it convenient.
-
I I love you and I'm thinking about you.
-
I sure don't want to make years and Dad's life a living hell for
-
the first six months because I don't get on the right schedule.
-
So just tell me what you need and listen, I'm not going to bug
-
you when I'm real hungry, OK? I'm just going to tap, OK?
-
I'm going to be peaceful about it, you know?
-
When I get a little hungry, I'm just going to tap on your
-
shoulder. I'm.
-
Going to say I think it's Tom, right?
-
Is this how it rolls out? No, don't roll out now.
-
I know some of your life man. My child was so great.
-
Yeah, have another one. 'Cause you know what, usually we
-
get a few to come out, you know, pretty good.
-
They tend to just for whatever reason, hit it right.
-
They sleep all night. They very are are very rarely
-
irritable and you know, don't really cry a whole lot, you
-
know, in the whole grand scheme of things, but don't think
-
something's not going to show up right.
-
But then you so excited about that.
-
Let's have another one. The next one comes out.
-
It's like I'm not my sibling, right here we go And it's like,
-
why is this one scream all the time?
-
Apparently it's going to be a singer.
-
I wish it would get some words right now, right.
-
So again, why do they do this? Believers is because they whine,
-
cry. They're selfish.
-
They need to be. Educated, trained.
-
All right, so Proverbs, let me skip a few.
-
I'm I'm going to skip a few. Let's go to Proverbs 1533 Be the
-
last proverb I go and we'll get into Galatians.
-
The fear of the Lord is the instruction for.
-
Wisdom Galatians four one through 2.
-
The King James says this. Now I say that that the heir, as
-
long as he is a child, differeth like I'm in the King James
-
nothing from the servant, though he be Lord of all.
-
So the heir is Lord of all, but he looks no different than the
-
servant but under tutors and governors until the time
-
appointed of the father. So at the end of the day, here's
-
a child that ultimately at birth has a right because of their
-
birth. It is by birth.
-
Everything because of birth is already sealed within them to be
-
able to have full authority and power of whatever it is that
-
they are an heir to. However, the servant who was not
-
born in that position does not have that.
-
And they do not look different in the beginning because the one
-
that's the heir is being told what to do, being instructed how
-
to respond, being communicated to in this situation.
-
This is how you handle yourself. You're the heir now.
-
The heir doesn't have like that, The air doesn't walk like that,
-
the air doesn't talk like that. So the air is being corrected
-
just as a servant would be corrected in the context.
-
We don't put the table together that way or we don't do this,
-
that and the other and then give instruction to the servant.
-
Now this is how you prepare this and this how you prepare that,
-
and this is how you do this particular position.
-
They don't differ, but they are being, but those heirs are under
-
tutors and governors. Look what it says here in John
-
chapter 14 verse 25 and 26. New Living translation says it
-
this way. He said I'm telling you these
-
things now while I'm still with you.
-
But when the Father sends the advocate, one translation says
-
counselor as my representative, that is the Holy Spirit.
-
He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything
-
I've told you. So the reason, number one reason
-
why the Lord or a reason why I'm not going to say #1 it's, it's,
-
but it's just as impactful, OK. And that is the reason why the
-
the Lord places the Holy Spirit in you is not just to bear
-
witness with your spirit. You are a child of God.
-
Now, why is that necessary though?
-
Because the Holy Spirit has an assignment to say to you,
-
listen, you're a child of God. Because up to this point you
-
have fallen short, you're flat, you have you have guilt, shame,
-
you don't think you're worthy to be.
-
And he has to say, now listen, we going to go to work because
-
listen, you're a child of God. You are a child of God.
-
You are the son and daughter of the King.
-
So that's why he bears witness with your spirit.
-
You are of God, you're of God. And what's he saying now?
-
Listen, you're of God. God's never been defeated by
-
evil, never been overcome by, never been put down by it, never
-
been destroyed by it, never yielded to at one time it he,
-
that spirit always conquered and it's in you.
-
You are child of God. That's why he's bearing because
-
he's giving you your identity as an heir.
-
You are joint heirs with Christ. But now that you're an heir,
-
it's time to go to work. I said it's time to go to work,
-
it's time to be trained through the Kingdom education principle.
-
We call it the renewing of the mind.
-
But again, so many people abandoned this process.
-
And when you abandon this process, you are not going to
-
pull the Kingdom into this natural life while you're in the
-
life and live it to its fullness, because your lack of
-
knowledge of His Kingdom and how it functions and operates will
-
hinder you from having what God has with great joy to give you.
-
God is not withholding the Kingdom from you, You withhold
-
it from yourself through a lack of being a scholar and staying
-
in. Repetition.
-
Are you hearing me? He goes on to say John 1415 to
-
17 again, the New Living Translation.
-
I really think these translation, they have it,
-
they're they probably didn't have it, so they had a different
-
one. But it says, if you love me,
-
here we go, right? If you love me, what are you
-
going to do? You're going to obey my
-
commandments. Why is that?
-
Because you're the child of a king.
-
Because Jesus himself says I only do what Dad says, he said I
-
love Dad. How does Dad know?
-
Because I obey. Again, we've already said this
-
and I'm going to say it again for repetition.
-
Surely Jesus would love the Lord.
-
He's of his nature, He's God. He's the second person of God.
-
Yet that alone doesn't say I love you, Father.
-
The same thing with the first Adam, because Jesus is
-
considered the last Adam out of God's nature.
-
He breathes into this skin suit, or this man made out of the
-
dust. He forms him out of the dust of
-
the earth, breathes into his nostrils the breath of life.
-
Then he wants to know, do you love me?
-
It's of His nature. How would Adam not be of the
-
nature of love? Because love is only manifested
-
in obedience to His Word. Love is not a feeling.
-
So he says, Adam, you can eat from any tree of the garden, but
-
of the tree of the knowledge of good, evil, you shall not eat
-
for the day you eat you will. Surely This is why Jesus says,
-
now listen, if you love me man, you're going to keep my word
-
because I've only kept the Father's word.
-
I've only done that. This is why the Father loves me
-
because I prove it all the time. Now again, I know what your mom
-
wants to. Do.
-
You want to kick back on those statements and say, don't tell
-
me I don't love God when I did wrong.
-
That is an act of rebellion. And in order to stay in right
-
standing, you repent from that and get back into doing what He
-
told you to do. That's an act of love.
-
And the Bible's very clear about this.
-
It doesn't mince words with this.
-
We we want it to be the other way because we want to still do
-
our way. We want to know all that we can
-
do and he still accept us. Well, God's never accepted you.
-
He accepted Jesus. We were not acceptable.
-
We were damnable, rightly so, but God through Christ said,
-
I'll accept you in Christ, make him Lord.
-
Well, what's it mean? Make him Lord.
-
I'm going to obey you because I love you.
-
I mean, my gosh, you died for me.
-
You took all my treason, my rebellion, my wrongdoing, my
-
disobedience. In fact, God in his new covenant
-
within the Gospels, I think it's Galatians that he's storing up
-
wrath for the sons of disobedience and that's for
-
dispensation that we've not even hit yet.
-
But this is easy for the new believer because my nature is to
-
love God. He has the Holy Spirit in me.
-
He's telling me I'm a child of God and he has empowered me with
-
the same spirit because of the same spirit of the race crash on
-
the dead lives in me and my spirit is in Christ.
-
Then how I'm incapable in the spirit realm to not do his word.
-
So all I got to do is say, mind you going to get it together.
-
We going to learn this principle.
-
We are going to quit wine bagging and complaining like the
-
old man. We're done with that.
-
I'm a higher species of being now.
-
So what do you say, Dad? And we're like, wow, that hurts,
-
but that's OK. I'll crucify that deal and do
-
the word anyway because your word's life.
-
So if you love me, you'll obey my commandments.
-
I'll ask the Father, and he will give you another counselor who
-
will not never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit who leads
-
into all truth. So Hebrews 513 and 14.
-
Then we'll jump over into the first verse of chapter 6.
-
It says for everyone who partakes only say only say only
-
only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness,
-
for He is an infant. OK, but solid food, say solid
-
food. Now here's the thing about solid
-
food, though. If you're if you can only drink
-
milk, you can't eat solid food. OK so at the end of the day it's
-
amazing how many infants in Christ try to go to places where
-
there's solid food. You take a baby to an all you
-
can eat BBQ buffet. I don't care how much that child
-
is drooling for a brisket for a a a BBQ rib from Captain's BBQ
-
down off of A1A. Right.
-
I don't care how much they have no teeth, no ability to handle
-
the solid food. Unless you're throwing it in a
-
blender and turn it in liquid form, it's not happening.
-
And I agree that would be nasty. However, when they threw milk,
-
grow and develop the ability to start handling.
-
And how can you handle solid food?
-
You are doing the milk of the word.
-
If you're not doing the milk of the word, then you can't eat
-
solid. Now that doesn't mean you can't
-
hear solid. Be around solid, smell solid,
-
put solid in your mouth and gum it to death.
-
But when you try to swallow, what will happen?
-
You're going to choke and die on something that you cannot
-
assimilate because you're not a doer of milk.
-
See if a solid food is for the mature.
-
So again, infants don't get do not get solid food.
-
Infants do not get solid food. You have to move to maturity.
-
You said, well, how long does it take to become mature?
-
As fast as you are always a doer of what you've heard and in
-
repetition continue in it. You're practicing it.
-
You're practicing it so. But solid food is for the
-
mature. Who, because of what practice,
-
have their senses trained to discern good and evil?
-
And I don't have time to dissect this, but you already know that
-
most believers that are infants or babes cannot discern good or
-
evil, although they think they can.
-
The Scripture declares they cannot.
-
And This is why our nation's like, it is because we've turned
-
out converts at the turn of the century after the World War Two
-
that some people came together and said, how can we make the
-
gospel its simplest form, what we preach on?
-
Where are you going to go when you die?
-
It was not the prevailing conversation over 100 years ago.
-
This is recent within our own nation, but man, we have taken
-
it hook, line and sinker because again, we don't want
-
responsibility of discipleship, or at least churches do.
-
Not now that's not us. Because we have a plethora of
-
opportunities for you to be discipled.
-
You come to church on why do we do midweek?
-
You know how many churches don't even do midweek, Don't even do
-
midweek, and then this Sunday they're only teaching for 25
-
minutes and you're supposed to mature with 25 minutes of 168
-
hours in a week That the enemy is bombarding you with other
-
conversations. That is called insanity.
-
That pastors believe that their congregations are maturing
-
because, and here's the thing, every pastor knows the people
-
don't come every service. I mean, it's like a pastor's
-
biggest dream is that everyone who said they went to their
-
church showed up at one time. I think people are going to be
-
surprised when they're catching away because they're going to be
-
like, we're all going. Some of you might not.
-
I'm not going to get into that one anyway, but we just like,
-
come on. So again, if it's 25 minutes and
-
we, we think regular attendance is one or two, two services is
-
50 minutes of training. Because here's the thing, you
-
know as well as I do, it is a challenge sometimes to learn on
-
your own. Now I've, I would much rather, I
-
thank God for you too, but I'd love to be able to see where's
-
that go, right, 'cause how many guys, we get some project from
-
IT or something. And what do we do?
-
We start laying it all out and you already start to see how
-
this thing through common sense is going and you start to
-
process. Yet there's an instruction
-
manual. We don't look at that and you
-
understand the structure. Manners have gotten so dumbed
-
down. They don't have words anymore.
-
It's just pictures. Do you understand how how we
-
are? We're being treated like
-
preschoolers. It is a coloring book that they
-
have given us to put whole pieces of furniture together.
-
Sometimes I'm looking, I'm like, what's the length on this there?
-
I have two ones longer than the other.
-
And you're not really, I mean my shapes, but again, you start
-
getting documents to learn in words.
-
Well then you got to be to understand the context and you
-
understand God did not give you a picture.
-
Book I don't want to hear this it.
-
Didn't give you a picture book because again, you know, if we
-
got a IKEA setting that says insert and you're reading you're
-
like, I don't even know what they're talking about right now.
-
What are they saying? It's this and they're have you
-
ever read a property? If they appraisers paragraph of
-
your property, It isn't 2121 US One South.
-
That's not how that goes. I mean, it's like this whole
-
massive description of all these points and everything you're
-
like, what the that's my property.
-
I mean, if if someone handed me your property appraiser
-
paragraph and says here's directions to my house, I feel
-
like I ain't coming, right? I mean, again, that literally
-
says anywhere on the globe where you are, but none of us can
-
decipher that. Now someone could train us.
-
That then you'd be like, oh, I know where you live.
-
But you got to know where the longitude and latitude and all
-
that kind of stuff's hitting. Anyway, all right, so Ephesians
-
4, we know that they gave us pastors and the fivefold
-
ministry to equip the Saints. Again, we are here to train.
-
I'm closing down now. We're here to train so that we
-
can all grow up to become a mature body, right?
-
Verse 16 From whom? The whole body being fitted and
-
held together by what every joint supplies according to the
-
proper working of each individual part, causes the body
-
to for the building up of itself in love.
-
It also says in verse 13, until we attain, till we all attain to
-
the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God
-
to a mature man, to the measure of the statute which belongs to
-
the fullness of Christ. And again, God doesn't want to
-
leave anyone behind, so we all have to mature.
-
It is the requirement of God for his church.
-
He doesn't want preschoolers. He wants people to move to
-
maturity. And I do believe the day's
-
coming where this can be at a greater level.
-
You know, could it be that right before he returns and catches us
-
away that the ones that come in are technically geniuses?
-
Because, you know, there have been people that are
-
academically really intelligent and they're 12/13/14, they're
-
graduating, going to college. I mean, they just have the mind
-
to do it. And can God do things in the
-
spirit with you once you're born again and grow you up and you
-
take control of that soul realm? You allow the education
-
principle of the Kingdom to function in your life so that
-
you start immediately showing the values, the morals, and the
-
lifestyle of a citizen of the Kingdom of God so that it
-
reflects the king himself. I believe that's highly
-
plausible. Highly plausible, most likely,
-
actually. OK.
-
But again, it's still because you're going to submit to a
-
training for, you know, it just comes natural that I can just do
-
the things of God. Well, you know what comes
-
natural to you too, because you're a supernatural being.
-
When I say comes natural, it's within you to be able to take
-
control of your thoughts, your mind and, and and yield it to
-
the word of God. First Corinthians 1420 says
-
this, brethren, do not be children in your thinking yet in
-
evil be infant. So what's he saying in the
-
subject of being evil, diabolic, fleshly, like your old life, be
-
an infant, know nothing about it.
-
Quit act like you're an expert in slander, gossip, malicious
-
fornication, sexual sins. I mean you left that life all of
-
a sudden become infant to it at like I don't even know how to do
-
that now. You're old way.
-
You used to be professional and expert, but in this new life I
-
don't even know how to do that. That is a foreign concept to me.
-
So Paul is saying in your thinking, don't be children,
-
quit being a child. Look at your neighbor and say
-
quit being a. Child, my wife and I real quick,
-
you know, went to breakfast this morning and Mandy's people have
-
their kids there because of vacation and this kid just
-
started blowing his nose with nothing snotting.
-
And they're like, don't do that. He did it again.
-
Then that grandparent put, you know, a rag, you know, on him.
-
And he then when he pulled it off, he did it again.
-
Just defiance. Then then the threats came.
-
You understand? I'm going to call you dad.
-
Then they started calling their name call and then they don't be
-
and they're talking, but no action, no action, no action.
-
And they just kept their deal. And then one of the little ones
-
went and grabbed a little coaster, went over because we're
-
on a, you know, upper floor. We were outside eating and threw
-
it, don't do that. And said their name like, well,
-
if you'd have been paying attention, they wouldn't have
-
got so close with it anyway. Don't.
-
But you know how many believers act childish like this?
-
Now let me just say this as your pastor, I'm not going to be one
-
of those parents. So if you come to this church
-
and you want to keep acting rebellious, well, you can find
-
another one. Come on, you can find another
-
one. I mean if you willfully want to
-
be. Rebellious.
-
Then you go somewhere else. And we'll help you get there.
-
We're going to hold you accountable to maturity because
-
I'm not here just to be excited that you're going to heaven when
-
you die. I'm here to mature the body.
-
And we're not going to have a spoiled rotten spiritual child
-
acting out. They will be corrected.
-
All right, OK, let's leave on a smiling note.
-
Do not be children in your thinking yet.
-
And evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature.
-
Do you understand? Right now I have given you 3.
-
Sundays at another church tonight.
-
But in your thinking, mature. Mature.
-
The word mature here means this literally.
-
In the Greek it means pertaining to being mature in one's
-
behavior. Mature Grown up to be a mature.
-
Person it means in context to the measure of the stature of
-
the fullness of Christ. God wants us.
-
It means maturity of behavior. You are the mature in your
-
behavior. You shouldn't be easily
-
offended, right? Right.
-
You should be quick to forgive. You should be quick to
-
righteousness and run from evil. You should flee the appearance.
-
You should be constantly thinking about somebody else
-
other than yourself. No slander, no gossip, no
-
division among the brethren. None of this stuff happens to
-
the with the mature. Are you hearing me?
-
It means not lacking any moral quality.
-
In fact, it includes the word perfect, and the reason it uses
-
that is because God himself is perfect, or that word is.
-
Complete God never intended for Jesus to come.
-
To have you. Incomplete in the three areas of
-
your being. You'd be beat.
-
Down, broke down physically in sickness, disease, just barely
-
holding on. And man, you know it's going to
-
let go of your spirit man anyway.
-
Your mind, your emotions are going to be broke, beat down,
-
destroyed, crushed because of how much oppression issues
-
people have come against you. All the abuse that's happened to
-
you verbally, mentally, emotionally, you know, both
-
physically, whatever the case may be, but you know what?
-
At least you're going to go to heaven when you die.
-
That was never the gospel he preached.
-
He allowed you to become complete in every three area
-
that you don't even recognize that other person and people
-
like I don't even recognize that other person in you.
-
So we close with Romans chapter 12, verse 2.
-
The new American standard says do not be conformed to this
-
world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that
-
you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and
-
acceptable and perfect. Guess what?
-
You're not going to prove the will of God just because you're
-
born again. In fact, you're incapable of
-
proving the will of God just because you're born again.
-
You're only given access to the Kingdom that now you can gain.
-
You can receive knowledge on how to begin to function effectively
-
in His Kingdom by birthright because there are many that are
-
not exercising the will of God based upon immaturity and as
-
long as you want self, you'll stay a baby.
-
The Passion says it this way. Stop imitating the ideals and
-
opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed
-
by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you
-
think of how you think of how you think.
-
You understand. I can't control your thoughts.
-
You can't control my thoughts, but I can do by the Spirit.
-
If you and I have got, we have something that we're dealing
-
with. The scripture says this, and if
-
you have not come to the conclusion you're going to do
-
it, I have come to the collusion.
-
I am going to do it. Then I also can exercise
-
patience until you get to that place.
-
I don't have to rant and rave just because you haven't come to
-
where this is the best place to be because I can trust God.
-
So even though a person may not be totally functioning in the
-
light of what they could know in the word, it doesn't mean that
-
I'm coming against them, a heart against them or whatever the
-
case, me and pay I can say well. Lord, you can deal with that.
-
You can go on and deal with that.
-
I'm going to be at peace anyway because I've matured.
-
So this will empower you to discern God's will as you live a
-
beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
-
Amen. So Jesus never intended for you
-
to be converted and then just figure what you can out, why you
-
can. No, he said, I have a very
-
strategic system. I'm offering them a Kingdom.
-
I'm giving them the dominion back that Adam lost.
-
This was never about them coming to heaven.
-
It was about them having dominion and becoming a child of
-
God. It was about their destiny, not
-
a destination. And so as a result of that, if
-
they're coming into our Kingdom, they sure are not going to
-
function well with their thinking.
-
I'm not here to change their soul.
-
I'm here to give them a new spirit and then give them a
-
teacher in them who will educate them from my realm on how they
-
as an heir are is they are supposed to respond and act.
-
And as they yield to that spirit, they can wash their mind
-
with my word, change their thinking and begin to live on a
-
whole nother level. A level they were always
-
destined to live 'cause they were never supposed to live.
-
In the aspect of sin, disobedience, where death
-
reigns, I'll give them the ability to reign in life.
