Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast
-
from St. Augustine, FL.
-
Now enjoy this message. First Timothy chapter 4 verse
1 Timothy 4 chapter mention
-
one says this. Now the Spirit explicitly says
-
that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving
-
heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.
-
You know, we started out this year utilizing this passage of
-
Scripture to to let us know that we have the reigning spirit.
-
And in the last of the last days, the Spirit is telling us
-
there's going to be great conflict.
-
But in that the Spirit of God expressly says, meaning this is
-
going to happen. You cannot stop it.
-
There are those who will fall away from the faith, meaning
-
they are sitting in church just like you are right now.
-
They are professing that they know Jesus Christ as their Lord,
-
as you are. Yet they'll fall away because
-
they have not trained their ears to hear properly or they have
-
not crucified things within their soul realm that is going
-
to hinder them. They've not renewed their minds
-
so that they function as they are born of God.
-
Once they made Jesus the Lord of their life.
-
So there are deceiving spirits. One translation says seducing
-
spirits and doctrines of demons. OK, so the spirits are there to
-
seduce you, and seduction is there in order to cause you to
-
go after something that seems really good.
-
No one would ever be seduced if it was showing you you're going
-
to die. Amen.
-
In fact, Proverbs talks about the young guy that's walking and
-
the woman's out and she begins to seduce him and he says he has
-
no idea that he's going into the place of death.
-
Right. My husband's gone, she says.
-
He's taking a lot of money with him.
-
I have prepared my bed so that you and I can have a love feast
-
all night long. And all the while that young boy
-
is going in there thinking he's having the time of his life, but
-
he's his whole life is being brought down to hell.
-
So seduction is very attractive. Very attractive.
-
So it came to my attention. My wife and I, when we were away
-
with a couple of our grandkids this past week, reminded me of a
-
message that I've never ministered at Anchor Bay Church.
-
Never. Now, Pastor Vanessa would know
-
this particular one. OK?
-
She would know it because she was single at the time when I
-
was at a church in Starke, FL and we had a revival in 1997 and
-
in that revival during the summer it was 12 week long
-
revival. In fact, my wife had been
-
praying in the Spirit, spending quite a bit of time in prayer
-
and by unction of the Spirit she got a word from the Lord that
-
our church was going to move into.
-
When I say our church, I was not the pastor, senior pastor of the
-
church. I youth pastored for this
-
particular church. I work full time in the Florida
-
Army National Guard and so it was volunteer that I served as
-
the youth pastor and man, we had an awesome thing going.
-
With that being said, she got my own chin of the Spirit.
-
We would go into a revival during the summer and that I
-
would preach that revival and that he would confirm that to
-
the pastor in three days. Well, she went over to the
-
pastor's house, told the pastor's wife and you know,
-
apparently it bore witness with her.
-
So much so that I was actually working with Pastor Vanessa's
-
father cutting some lawns that day and and they come flying up
-
to the house. We were cutting grass and begin
-
to tell us, well, I'll be honest with you, it didn't bear witness
-
to me. It was a shock.
-
I was like, what? You know?
-
Well, three days later, sure enough, Pastor Wade came and
-
said we're going to do revival and you'll minister, I'll do
-
Sundays. We were going to take off on
-
Saturday. We did Monday through Friday.
-
We did six days of church and we did those five nights for seven
-
straight weeks and then the last five weeks.
-
So I think we did, we did like a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
-
So we had Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and it
-
basically finished out the summer, man.
-
We saw miracles, people born again, people filled with the
-
Holy Ghost. And I was so young in the faith,
-
OK, I had not been to Rhema. I had just recently, two years
-
prior to that baptizing the Holy Ghost.
-
I've been raised in the Baptist Church all my life and I was
-
hungry for more. And so in my searching for
-
hunger, God had this Assembly of God minister come by knock on
-
our doors, who had great recently graduated from Rhema
-
himself. And next thing you know, we're
-
attending his church. I got filled with the Holy
-
Ghost. He asked me to work with his
-
children's because he knew I was called to ministry.
-
I said I would rather do youth if that's OK.
-
He said fine. We had one and before we left
-
the church ran 150 people total, of which 75 of them were youth.
-
It was awesome. We had an off campus ministry.
-
We had two prison systems, juvenile prison systems coming
-
to us and man those people get born again all the time.
-
It was awesome, but I just didn't know the word.
-
Like I know the word today, but knowing the word still doesn't
-
change the position I was in because I'm still in that
-
position today. And man, I would work all day
-
long because I worked Monday through Friday, except every
-
other Monday, the National Guard, we were off and so we
-
worked these 9-10 hour days, something like that, I can't
-
remember, but every other Monday I was off and so I had to go to
-
work. But I'm preaching that night,
-
and so my brakes would be in Scripture.
-
My lunchtime would be in Scripture because I'm like, what
-
in the world are we saying tonight?
-
And I remember many times, especially in the last few
-
weeks, that I would show up and Pastor Marcy can testify and I
-
would go into a little room right beside the the platform
-
and praise and worship would be going on.
-
And I have nothing. And I'm like, Lord, you better
-
give me something or I'm not going out there.
-
I mean, it, it was the fear of the Lord.
-
I did not want to preach something that that wasn't from
-
the throne room. Again, I mean, this was revival.
-
And so out of that came this message.
-
And I don't know why I've never ministered it here, but it seems
-
right in the Holy Ghost for me to minister here today.
-
Amen. So you understand, it's not an
-
old message, it's a message now. I can guarantee you it has
-
nothing like I preached it in Stark except for the scriptures.
-
Because how I preached back then and how I preached today and the
-
knowledge and revelation I have today opens the door for more
-
things. But the central truth never
-
changed. Out of all these years, that
-
central truth is still there. And I title the message the
-
Choke conspiracy. So turn over to Mark chapter 13
Mark 13 chapter mention
-
and Mark chapter 13 starting in verse three.
Mark 13 chapter mention
-
You know it well, it says this. It says, And he spoke many
-
things to them in parables, saying, Behold, the sower went
-
out to sow, and as he sowed, some seeds fell beside the road,
-
and the birds came and ate them up.
-
Others fell on rocky places where they did not have much
-
soil. And immediately they sprang up
-
because they had no because they immediately they sprang up,
-
because they had no depth of soul.
-
But when the sun had risen they were scorched.
-
Because they had no root. They withered away.
-
Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and
-
choked them out. Say choked them out, and others
-
fell on good soil and yielded a crop, some a hundredfold, some
-
60, some 30. He who has ears, let him hear.
-
Now He explains this parable starting in the 18th verse of
-
the same chapter, Matthew 1318. It says Now hear them.
-
The parable of the sower. When anyone hears the word of
-
the Kingdom, say the word of the Kingdom.
-
So other Tran other passages both over in the Mark 4 count
-
and the Luke 8 account, you know, say the silver seats, the
-
seed is the word. Well, we know that word is
-
specifically is the word of the Kingdom because when Jesus
-
speaks, it's the word of the king and where the word of the
-
king is there is there's power. So he says that the parable that
-
here if anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and does not
-
understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has
-
been sown where not in his head in his heart.
-
You know what that tells us? That tells us that the minute
-
the revelation of the Kingdom comes to you, if you do not
-
desire to know, then the devil will come and put out that
-
revelation 'cause he sure wants to keep you in religion.
-
The minute the revelation of the Kingdom comes on in you, if you
-
do not pursue to understand, then you're giving the devil
-
access to keep you blinded in demonic doctrine or a form of
-
religion. So we're not talking about a
-
casual conversation that I'm someone's preaching on the
-
Kingdom and you don't get the revelation of it.
-
No, this person has revelation because the devil steals it away
-
from their heart, not from their head.
-
OK, then it goes on and says this.
-
This is the one whom the seed was sown by the roadside, the
-
one whom seed was sown on the rocky places.
-
This is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it
-
with joy. Yet he has no firm root in
-
himself, but is only temporary. And when affliction or
-
persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls
-
away. There are many that we see in
-
the in the churches today that come to a church.
-
They receive Jesus as their Lord.
-
They we receive salvation with joy, but because they are not
-
coming to be discipled, they're only coming to be converted.
-
They just want to know they're going to go to heaven when they
-
die. They have no real interest in
-
Jesus as Lord. They have great interest in
-
Jesus as Savior. They do not want to go to hell
-
for their own doing. They are condemned, they are
-
guilty, they have shame because of it.
-
And when they hear of the good news that Jesus has forgiven
-
them of all their own doing, they jump at the occasion to be
-
pardoned, to be forgiven, but with no aspirations to follow
-
Him all the days of their life. And it proves out because when
-
trials come and they have no commitment, they come to an
-
altar in tears and and they come to the altar knowing full well
-
they need Jesus to save their lives.
-
But they never come back to the church again.
-
They pop in sporadically. They may show up at an Easter
-
service or at a Christmas cantata, some type of thing.
-
They may periodically show up because Mama manipulated them to
-
come to church on Mother's Day. Yet when all the issues of life
-
come, there's no root in them and they fall away.
-
They live life like they're not even born again.
-
Verse 22 goes on then to say because they are verse 21, they
-
had no firm root, only temporary.
-
When affliction of persecution arises because of the word,
-
immediately he falls away and there's many that do not handle
-
the persecution that comes because you are a child of God.
-
You much rather blend into society, then stand out and
-
shine. Verse 22, the one of whom the
-
seed was sown among the thorns. This is the man who hears the
-
word and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth.
-
Choke the word and it becomes unfruitful.
-
We'll come back to that. And the one whom seed was sown
-
on the good soul. This is the man who hears the
-
word, understands it, and indeed bears fruit and brings forth
-
some a hundredfold, some 60 and some 30.
-
So verse 22 says those at the sea fell among the thorns.
-
This is the man who hears the word.
-
He hears the word and the worry of the world and the
-
deceitfulness of wealth. Choke the word and it becomes
-
unfruitful. Now it's important for us to go
-
to the other two gospels that have this same parable that
-
Jesus speaks. They're both ones in Mark and
-
the other ones in Luke. Let's look at the Mark chapter 4
Mark 4 chapter mention
-
account. It starts in verse 18 concerning
-
the one sown among the thorns. It says this.
-
The others are the ones of whom seed was sown among the thorns.
-
These are the ones who have heard the word.
-
Have you heard the word? Come on, have you heard the
-
word? Now notice there's a progression
-
here. There is the progression of seed
-
falling to the wayside and it never gets in any ground at all.
-
Birds pull it out it had. It never changes, never
-
converts. It stays in seed form is what
-
I'm saying. The second one is one that comes
-
among the rocks and conversion takes place, meaning it's no
-
longer a seed but a plant. Plant is a conversion, OK, but
-
again, the seed is to convert itself.
-
In essence, it dies and it releases what's within it, and
-
what's within it is a plant. But we do not have plants for
-
plants sake where they're there to bear fruit.
-
Because again, the parable is about a farmer, and a farmer is
-
not just planting plants, he's looking for fruit.
-
So conversion takes place, it becomes a plant.
-
It's no longer in seed form. It has all capacity to produce
-
fruit. But because it does not have a
-
good root system, see, people like to look at the plant, but a
-
plant doesn't stay thriving if the roots are dying.
-
So you can come looking polished, but it doesn't take
-
long to determine if you're dying because we can hear it in
-
your mouth. We can see it in your walk, in
-
your talk. We can see it in the attendance.
-
We can see it in your actions of whether your root system is
-
pulling on the water of the word so that you can grow by it.
-
My wife, before we went on this camping trip with our Grant,
-
Grant couple of our grandchildren, there's a
-
particular hibiscus that we had planted and she had put some
-
additional fertilizer on it. Well, I thought I had turned the
-
sprinklers on. I had not.
-
And because I did not, that plant did not make it because it
-
did not have the fertilizer watered in.
-
The fertilizer burned it, killed it, dried it up.
-
So my wife was transplanting some hibiscus.
-
We call it salad row because the deer that come out of the
-
preserve come down that part of our driveway and they eat their
-
hibiscus salad as they go. Those hibiscus cannot make it
-
over there on that side of the house.
-
It is salad row. All right, so if we had a
-
camera, we could set it up. There's no telling how many are
-
coming by. All right, But there's a
-
particular hibiscus they do not touch.
-
So we purchased that particular one and she pulled up the
-
hibiscus salads, put in the other ones, and she was going to
-
take one of those and plant it over there.
-
Well, she couldn't dig out the old one, OK?
-
Even though it was dead, it had a far enough root system that
-
she couldn't pull it out. It was going to require my
-
muscular strength. She needed Herman to show up.
-
All right. OK.
-
But Herman did not do this before we went camping.
-
So she took her other hibiscus that was beautiful and green,
-
put it in a pot, watered it, and we left.
-
When we came home, that plant was yellow because there was no
-
additional watering. And you understand, when you
-
pull a plant from its environment where it's been
-
growing, it's at risk because it needs to get planted and it
-
needs to be watered often. You can't just water it once and
-
think it's going to be OK. Thank you, Lord, the Lord just
-
said. That's like many of my
-
believers. They uproot from one church and
-
then they go to another and they think they get a little bit of
-
water and then they don't show up for about a month or two or
-
so and they're wondering why they're all yellow and brown and
-
they're hindering and they can't seem to get no fruit.
-
It's because they don't get planted and get somewhere.
-
They're watered. If you've been out of church for
-
a while, you shouldn't think one time's enough.
-
You should be committed to every service.
-
She should be anyway, but that's how you thrive.
-
With that being said, you know, it looked a little rough.
-
It looked rough. Well, again, there are believers
-
that aren't getting planted water.
-
They're allowing their root system to develop so they can be
-
somewhere. All right.
-
But then we know when they get into good ground, ground where
-
it's being when. When we say good soil, we're not
-
talking about just the soil itself.
-
We're talking about the environment by which all the
-
nutrients are being released, which means that irrigation is
-
happening. The the farmer is making sure
-
it's being irrigated. The farmer's making sure there's
-
no pestilence. The farmer's making sure no
-
weeds are coming up around it. He is caring for it so that it
-
can produce and bear what fruit. Again, the latter three are all
-
some form have a conversion process because they're no
-
longer in the seed. They are plants.
-
So the one that is sown among the thorns is no longer a seed,
-
but it is a plant in it of itself, because the Bible tells
-
us here, look at this in Mark four, the others that are among
-
the thorn, they heard the word. But the worries of the world,
-
the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires of other things
-
enter in and choke the word and it becomes what?
-
Unfruitful. Well, if you're still in seed
-
form, there's no way you're going to bear fruit.
-
But if you're in plant form, fruit is expected.
-
So as the plant grows, guess what else grew around it?
-
Thorns. And the thorns began to invade
-
and choked it so that it could not produce the fruit.
-
But I like what this one says in verse 19.
-
It says but because the other one said the worries are the
-
cares of life and the deceitfulness of riches.
-
But this one goes one more further and it says and the
-
desires for other things. So it's not just worrying the
-
worries of the world. It's not just the worries of the
-
world. It's not just simple worrying.
-
It's the worries of the world. You know, many people are in
-
anxiety because of wars going on right now.
-
That is a worry of the world. You know, how many people are in
-
anxiety or worried because of financial things right now?
-
You know, people are worried about food or worried about
-
there's many things going on, Worried about whether they're
-
going to, you know, be able to maintain their job or get a
-
better job or whether they'll get into school, worried about,
-
you know, how their kids are going to be.
-
I mean, it's the worries of the world.
-
OK. Then you have the deceitfulness
-
of riches, meaning this desire to be rich begins to seduce you.
-
But not just that then just desires that you have on your,
-
which is where many believers have taken the scripture out of
-
context. God will give me the desires of
-
my heart. Well again, God will give you
-
the desires of your heart. God gives you the desires that
-
he puts in your heart that then you can have, but you're not
-
creating your own desire and saying you're going to give me
-
what I want. You're saying, Lord, I want what
-
you want from me. And he says this is what I want
-
for you, and you say, OK, I'll have what you want from me.
-
So there are desires that are coming from seeing the things of
-
the world, seeing the comforts associated with this world
-
system, the pleasures that are associated with it, and it will
-
cause other desires to pop into you, so much so that what it
-
does, it chokes the word and it becomes what?
-
Unfruitful. Now look at Luke chapter 8.
Luke 8 chapter mention
-
Luke chapter 8, verse 14. It says the seed fell among the
-
thorns. These are the ones whom have
-
heard, and as they go on their way, they are choked with
-
worries and riches and pleasures of this life and bring no fruit
-
to now. I like this one 'cause this one
-
lets us know what takes place on the plant.
-
This one confirms that it's not seed, but that it is a plant.
-
So it has been converted and this person sits and hears the
-
word, so much so that fruit actually begins to manifest.
-
But just because fruit is on a plant doesn't mean it's matured
-
or it's time to harvest. You've heard me tell the story
-
of the banana tree I had in my one of my other residents before
-
I move where I'm at today. And so we had these nice little
-
cute ones. They were little bitty ones.
-
I don't know what, you know, what type it was OK.
-
But it was just, you know, these small ones and they're green.
-
And I'm looking at them and I'm like, waiting.
-
I did not Google to determine when they're ready to harvest.
-
They had been like that for a while.
-
The ones up top started looking pretty nasty looking, you know,
-
like they weren't. So I'm like, surely this is it.
-
I've learned since when to cut it off for it to write.
-
But prior I did not know. And in my ignorance, OK, because
-
I've been to Publix more than one time and seen green bananas
-
that when I brought them to the house they ripened.
-
OK, so I cut that whole thing off and I cut off one of those
-
bananas and I waited for it to change some color.
-
Well, it eventually changed a little bit.
-
I peeled that thing back. I put it in my mouth.
-
You understand? Everything in my mind was
-
thinking of every store bought banana I ever have eaten, I've
-
ever eaten, you hear me? And here I am biting into this
-
fruitful banana. But much to my surprise, it was
-
not mature. It was fake because I had
-
harvested before maturity and when I put bit into it, there
-
was no moisture. It was sticky.
-
In fact, it pulled every piece of saliva away from my mouth to
-
the banana. I could barely open my mouth.
-
I had no moisture. It was the most horrific
-
experience in my life, period. Now it was a plant.
-
It had fruit, but it was bitter. I said it was bitter.
-
It was no good. It was only good to discard.
-
Now anybody walking by with say, wow, look at the fruit, but the
-
fruits no good. It's not brought to maturity.
-
I pulled it off before maturity came.
-
I have a citrus tree now and you know this is like it's 3rd, 3rd
-
or 4th year. Maybe third?
-
4th we're just kind of waiting because for it to develop a
-
little differently because it's not had grapefruit yet.
-
We're waiting. For it to develop better tasting
-
fruit, to get it to mature. Every year there's a boatload on
-
it, but they never mature. I never have been able to yet
-
harvest off that tree. So there are a lot of believers
-
that go to church, hear the word, start showing fruit, but
-
they never allow their fruit to get to maturity.
-
This is very. Important.
-
Because. Mature maturity is is the
-
expectation of our Father. Maturity.
-
Is the expectation of our Father.
-
Hallelujah. This is why the church he'll
-
come back for will be without spot or wrinkle.
-
Do you understand we were in the greatest time ever?
-
I mean, think about it in. The beginning they had the Holy
-
Spirit poured out upon. They had power.
-
There were every miracle signs and wonders were happening.
-
Miracle signs and wonders are happening even now in this age,
-
right now, in this time frame of the age of the Church.
-
But you know what the early Church did not have?
-
It did not have the combination of all the writings put together
-
in such a way that they had such ease of access.
-
To the sacred. Writings, I mean what we have
-
available for us right now plus the multiplying of the Spirit.
-
We are of no excuse not to mature in the fruits of the
-
Spirit and flow with the gifts of the Spirit.
-
We are without excuse. In fact, Jesus makes a demand
-
that we function that way and we are.
-
But in order to, we must avoid the choke conspiracy in the last
-
days. So it.
-
Says that they heard the word, but because of worries, riches
-
and pleasures of this life, no fruit was brought to maturity.
-
Now has. Jesus ever experienced this con
-
this? This.
-
Conspiracy to pull him out of his assignment through being
-
choked. Absolutely.
-
We find it in Matthew chapter four, starts in verse eight in
-
Matthew chapter 4. This was the devil's seduction.
Matthew 4 chapter mention
-
Here's where the. Devil tried to seduce Jesus.
-
Cause. Cause.
-
In what he knew what Jesus was coming for.
-
And he wanted him to. Have it.
-
On his terms. On his terms.
-
Again, the devil took him up on an exceeding high mountain.
-
This is the temptation of Jesus and showed him.
-
I find this interesting because two chapters, a few you know, in
-
the same book. Later on, when he gives the
-
parable, Jesus has knowledge of this conspiracy, of this ability
-
to choke you. So when he talks his.
-
Peril. He's talking from experience.
-
This has happened to me. He says.
-
The devil took him to exceeding High mountain and showed him all
-
the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
-
And he said all these things I will give you if you fall down
-
and worship me. Now if we were in the Luke
-
account of this temptation, we know that he says this.
-
He says all this domain has been handed over to me, and I can
-
give it to whomever I want. Who gave him the dominion?
-
Adam did We know in Genesis 126 that God gave man dominion, and
-
when Adam ate the fruit, he gave his dominion to the devil.
-
Adam was the God of this world. God is the God of all creation.
-
He delegated his authority to man to rule over the earth.
-
But man abdicated his throne and gave it to the devil.
-
And now the devil wasn't is known as the God of this world
-
or the systems of this world. It was handed to him.
-
He has it because he seduced Adam.
-
Into thinking he could. Have all that God offered him on
-
his terms. He says I'll give all.
-
This to you if you'll just fall down and worship me and Jesus
-
said away with you Satan for it is what?
-
You shall. Worship the Lord your God and
-
and him only you shall serve. How does why does Jesus know
-
this? Jesus knows this in Matthew
-
chapter 6 verse 24. No one can serve 2 masters.
-
For he will. For either he will hate the one
-
and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one who
-
despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
-
Now, that doesn't mean you cannot have wealth.
-
We're going to. This is the great conspiracy
-
because everything the devil is offering you through worry,
-
through seduction of riches and your own personal pleasures.
-
In essence, he's. Saying if he's keeping you from
-
what's rightfully yours. By.
-
Seducing you to have it his way. This is the great.
-
Conspiracy and he's convinced many believers that they can't
-
prosper. They can't have anything so he
-
keeps them in low level living then others he'll get them over
-
into I'll give you the wealth, I'll give you the prestige, I'll
-
give you the popularity. I'll give you all this.
-
He'll hand you the world. The Bible says what good is it a
-
man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul because he only
-
be continues to be a slave to the one who's no longer his
-
father? In essence, the.
-
Devil convinces you. God doesn't want you to have
-
anything. God doesn't care about this
-
earth. God doesn't care about your
-
life. All he cares about is you go to
-
heaven. And you know what?
-
You've made that. You've done that.
-
You've asked him. That's good.
-
Now you just come on over here and I'll take care of you.
-
I'll give it to. You.
-
Convince you. Through one of his doctrines
-
that the grace that's been applied to your life now it's
-
got you covered. You can live with me again, live
-
for me again, live like me again, but because of the grace
-
you covered all right, he. Says for this.
-
Reason I say to you verse 25, do not worry.
-
About your life. As to what you eat or what
-
you're going to drink, but no, for your body is what you're
-
going to put on. Is not life more than food in
-
the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air.
-
The they do not sow nor reap or nor gather in the barns, yet
-
your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than
-
they are? And who are you being worried
-
can add a single hour to his life?
-
And why are you worried? About clothing, observe how the
-
lilies of the field grow. They do not toll, nor do they
-
spend. Yet I say to you that not even
-
Solomon and all this glory clothe themselves like one of
-
these. But if God so clothed the grass
-
of the field which is alive today and tomorrow's thrown into
-
the furnace, how much more will he clothe you, you of little,
-
little faith? Notice now in these two contexts
-
here he's talking about birds and he's then he's talking which
-
is dealing with food, and then he talks about plant flowers.
-
When he's talking about your clothing, in essence, he's
-
saying, listen, I created the birds, so I'll provide for the
-
birds. That's the lesson there.
-
Well, if God created us, then what's he saying?
-
I'll provide for you. The second thing he says is look
-
at the lilies, he said. It's in their DNA to look like
-
that. 'Cause if.
-
They only do what they were designed to do, then they're
-
always covered. And if you will.
-
Only do what you are purposed to do, what you were created to do.
-
You're always going to be covered.
-
You're taken care. Of it is a guarantee by the
-
king. Guaranteed.
-
Guaranteed by the king. Hallelujah.
-
It's amazing how much comfort we put in a paycheck.
-
Yeah, your daddy owns the planet.
-
That we put our. Worth and how much we filed on
-
our taxes. Instead of the.
-
Worth that we are in the Kingdom.
-
Verse 30. One he says, do not worry then
-
saying, what will we eat or what will we drink, or and what we
-
will wear for clothing? For the Gentiles eagerly seek
-
all these things. Your heavenly Father knows that
-
you need all these, but what? Seek first his and His, and all
-
these things shall be added to you.
-
Shall be added to. You now the Luke chapter 12
Luke 12 chapter mention
-
account of this same passage of Matthew has another tag at the
-
end when it says in verse chapter 12 starting in verse 31
-
but seek his Kingdom and the things these things will be
-
added to you. Then he goes on and tells us in
-
verse 32, Do not be what? Little.
-
Flock in essence, don't worry, don't be anxious, have no
-
concern, live carefree. For.
-
Your father has chosen what gladly to give you the Kingdom,
-
so the devil wants to give you wealth.
-
Riches. Fame pleasures, but at the
-
expense of your life. Your Heavenly Father wants to
-
give you wealth, notoriety in his Kingdom cause fame's a whole
-
nother ball game. Significance full provision.
-
He's he's glad to give you. He's not withholding wealth from
-
you. He's not withholding from you a
-
good life. 'Cause there are.
-
Certain things in the Kingdom that have greater value.
-
He said the. Kingdom of God is not meat or
-
drink, meaning natural substance, but it's
-
righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
-
Well if you have righteousness then it's going to open up a
-
whole thing for you. Things that the devil can give
-
you on credit. What do I mean by that?
-
He will seduce you in to working for him.
-
He'll give you. Bonuses, promotions, no fame.
-
He'll give you national prominence.
-
Get your name out everywhere only to crush you.
-
He only comes. To steal, kill and destroy.
-
And he will prop you up in order for you to decimate other
-
people's lives. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
He'll do these things. OK.
-
And so we have to understand there's a conspiracy that is
-
taking place within the church that all of a sudden you really
-
can't, cannot get along or, or really go somewhere if you're
-
going to follow God. You're not going to get.
-
Ahead, if you really stay loyal to him.
-
Look what it says in second. Timothy chapter 2, starting in
2 Timothy 2 chapter mention
-
verse four, says no soldier in active service entangles himself
-
in the affairs of everyday life so that he may please the one
-
who enlisted him as a soldier. Also.
-
If anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the
-
prize unless he competes according to the rules.
-
The hard working farmer. We started this out.
-
We're talking about sowing seed from the farm.
-
The hard working farmer ought to be what ought.
-
To be the. What the What 1st to receive his
-
share of the crops. Notice the farmer sows, knowing
-
it's not all for me. You don't want to hear that.
-
That's fine. The farmer knows I'm sowing not
-
all for me. It's not just for me.
-
There are others that this is going to bless, nourish, help.
-
I'm not living life just for me. I'm not doing that.
-
And he says the farmer ought to receive first.
-
So understand when you're giving your life to Jesus, Jesus say,
-
well, I'll take care of you. OK, well, when is it?
-
When am I going to get my time? Are you doing for the Lord?
-
God is thinking. About you first.
-
In what you're. Doing.
-
But here's the thing, you are not to entangle yourselves.
-
With the affairs of the. World.
-
And there are more. Believers that understand more
-
about stock markets today, economic trends.
-
I'm not saying you shouldn't know things, and I'm not saying
-
that God couldn't lead you to do things.
-
Brother Hagin. Knew a particular gentleman who
-
had wealth and he invested his money, but he said I I never
-
lost on an investment. He said when I invested in one
-
of his books, he said he would go to his prayer closet because
-
this is how believers they seek first.
-
He heard of. An opportunity to invest and he
-
would ask the king, do you want me to put my money there?
-
Because again. Even Jesus understood of natural
-
markets for increase because he reprimanded one of his servants
-
because they did not take the talent he left them and put it
-
at least in a bank to earn interest.
-
Because God always. Expects increase because God
-
always will have increase because God's always increasing.
-
But he. Prayed and and the what some
-
markets that everyone was getting into.
-
He did not, and the ones everyone was not getting into,
-
he would invest in, he said. I never lost.
-
Once. Because I only invested, as the
-
Lord said. But you know what?
-
Most people aren't listening to the Lord, They're only listening
-
to the market. Many of us.
-
If we don't watch out, we will learn the world system and it
-
has a system, and that system will bring prosperity.
-
But it brings a whole. Lot of other stuff with it too.
-
Whereas if we'll. Seek first the Kingdom.
-
God will tell us how to engage different things within this
-
world so that we are not at loss.
-
Yet He Himself has some systems in play, period, that are not of
-
this world. Tithing is not of this world.
-
Giving offerings to the Lord is not of this world.
-
There are certain markets he has that he's always talked about a
-
return on, and they are foolproof if they are
-
accompanied with your faith. Yet we will learn other markets.
-
We will invest thousands of dollars to go to other seminars.
-
And yet spend. Very little time in the
-
scripture. It's a choke.
-
Conspiracy. Because.
-
The minute you start bringing it in, I know what believers do.
-
They hear the word, Oh the Lord bless me.
-
Did he? Because the devil can.
-
Give you good stuff too. That's how he seduces.
-
You have to know in your spirit I'm doing the will of God in
-
this action. And if you don't know that.
-
In your spirit, then you're just doing natural, and you may
-
prosper, but that natural may become seductive.
-
Man, you can go make. A lot of money, You know, there
-
are a lot of believers right now that are in marijuana farms.
-
Hey, I'm a preach. It's a plant.
-
An illegal one at. That for a long time, but you
-
know, the government needed another revenue to tax.
-
I mean, it's easy to. Change a drug from being illegal
-
to legal. Just go to Portland.
-
They did that experiment and it didn't work very well.
-
Decided that. All these particular drugs are
-
not illegal. And there and society just
-
continued to plummet. Hallelujah.
-
It really shouldn't be that quiet here.
-
But people like the. Way it makes them feel right.
-
Amen, say. Well, I'm using it.
-
For municipal. Yeah.
-
That. Well.
-
Prescription drugs are used for that, but do you want to live on
-
them? Because I don't see too.
-
Many I'm trying to come off of it.
-
And why is it not? Regulated.
-
OK, it's a conspiracy. All these things are to try to,
-
you know, all the things of the world are to try.
-
There's conspiracies to try to give you a false sense of peace.
-
Take. Off the pressures of you know
-
how many people are avid drinkers or smokers because they
-
say it calms them? They say that.
-
You saw How do you know? Because I had a father who said
-
that who was an alcoholic who could not go a day without
-
drinking. Calm his.
-
Nerves. Well, it just slowed down his
-
judgment. Didn't bring him.
-
Peace, because the same problems were there the next morning.
-
It gave him no answer. So the enemy's.
-
Constantly trying to give you this illusion of what the Father
-
chooses to give you gladly through his Kingdom, but it's on
-
his terms. And he wants.
-
To bless you, in fact, let's look at this.
-
Look at Psalms 3527. This is powerful.
-
It says let them shout for joy. Let them shout for.
-
Joy and be what? Who?
-
Favor my righteous cause. What do we see in Matthew 633?
-
He says, seek first the Kingdom and his righteousness.
-
That's his way of doing things. He said, you can shout for joy,
-
you'll be glad who favor my righteous call.
-
Let and let them say continually let the Lord be magnified.
-
Who, who's who? The Father is who?
-
Who is who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servants?
-
So God does not have pleasure in your poverty.
-
He has. Pleasure in your prosperity, but
-
prosperity is a direct result of you knowing His righteous cause,
-
'cause when you seek His Kingdom and seek His righteousness, then
-
wealth has to follow, because God owns it all anyway.
-
The silver. And gold is not the devil's.
-
Nowhere in scripture does it say the silver and gold is the
-
devil's. He has access.
-
Is he using it? Yes, but it says the silver and
-
gold are mine, says the Lord. He's the one who put it in the
-
earth in the 1st place. He says I own all the cattle on
-
1000 Hills. He's the one who actually owns
-
the planet. He's just looking for his kids
-
to prosper his way. And.
-
Not get caught in the conspiracy of the great promotion, the
-
great fame, the great, you know, bonuses, the great new salary
-
that sucks you out of your your place in the church, keeps you
-
working constant hours. But man, you're buying your boat
-
now. You're buying your bigger house
-
now, but your family's falling apart, your kids are falling
-
apart. And all the while you're saying
-
God's bless me all the while, all the while, yeah, the Lord's
-
like I got things for you. And he has great.
-
Joy. And many have.
-
Fallen away from the faith because they're just tired of
-
being broke. So it's.
-
Easier to accept that I'll go to heaven when I die.
-
Well, I am going to work, I'm going to get a job, I'm going to
-
make money. I'm not going to live like that
-
while I'm here and I'm going to enjoy this life while I'm here.
-
And they? Compromise.
-
They're fit in the church. To pursue.
-
It. Great.
-
Wealth is laid up for those who'll seek the Kingdom.
-
Great wealth. Actually, great wealth.
-
Great wealth. In fact, the Bible even talks
-
about that the wealth of the wicked.
-
Is being laid up. For the righteous problem is, is
-
that we have personal desires that we want to see fulfilled
-
now. More than we.
-
Want the desire to please him daily?
-
Look at this proverbs. 18 Proverbs 8 this is powerful.
-
Look at this Proverbs 8 starting verse 17 and this whole you
-
should read the whole chapter because it's talking about
-
wisdom. OK, verse 17 says I love those
-
who love me. And those.
-
Who diligently seek me will will find me see you have to seek
-
first the. Kingdom.
-
I mean, there are people. That are diligent.
-
Diligent. At following every billionaire
-
and learning of their ways. It's.
-
True, it's good all. The while compromising their
-
purpose to choke conspiracy. 'Cause they really don't.
-
Believe that God wants them to have everything they need for
-
their purpose. Because for some of us, when I
-
say some, I'm talking about general, in general, is that we
-
imagine a life for ourselves that doesn't mirror the purpose
-
by which we were designed. And we are trying to tell God we
-
love our image of our life better than your image of our
-
life. But he's the one who made.
-
You. He's the one who knew you before
-
you and your mother's womb. The greatest thing you could
-
ever do is discover why you're here.
-
Hallelujah, you got to ask yourself the.
-
Question why is the Lord giving you riches to pay off all your
-
stuff? So that you can have.
-
More stuff, look what it says here.
-
I love those who love me, and those who diligent, seek me will
-
find me. Riches and honor are with me.
-
Enduring wealth. Riches and honor.
-
Are with me enduring wealth and righteousness.
-
This is amazing, he says. My fruit is better than gold,
-
even pure gold, and my yield better than the choice of
-
silver. I.
-
I walk in the way of righteousness in the midst of
-
the paths of justice to endow those who love me with.
-
With wealth. That I may feel their
-
treasuries. Now here's the thing.
-
About the wealth from God, it looks nothing like the world.
-
Nothing the way to obtain. It is totally different.
-
In fact, I would say this, when the Lord allows you to utilize
-
some of the systems in the world today, it's because He's
-
transferring that wealth of the wicked to you.
-
But your. Wealth is not tied up in only
-
the wicked's wealth. There is new wealth to.
-
Come. To that you can have based upon
-
God himself, and some of these things are ideas.
-
Things that haven't. Even come to the planet yet, but
-
God just wants to foster the idea in you.
-
That you create. Your own wealth.
-
But these come. Because you seek and this word.
-
Seek is not a casual word. If we only.
-
Pursued God like we pursued the world's way of getting wealthy.
-
And in the. Last days great seduction.
-
Great seduction. In fact, I'll even prophecy
-
right now. I believe I have the ear of the
-
Spirit, he says in that scripture that says the wealth
-
of the wicked is laid up for the righteous.
-
Many of that wealth is coming from those who used to be with
-
me, and I'll transfer it from them back to my house.
-
Yet they'll. Say that they were blessing me.
-
Because you understand a. Person that's deceived in
-
religion believes they're doing everything for the Lord.
-
Come on now. Let me get out of the get out of
-
the Christianity for a minute. Anyone that is following
-
Muhammad believes they are doing that for the Lord, for God, and
-
those actions are honoring God. They are convinced of.
-
That until life changes them, they're convinced of that.
-
There are many people that are praying to Mary today because
-
they are convinced that she is the doorway to the Father.
-
They are convinced of that and they are doing the work of the
-
Lord when they pray to her. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
And they are. Blessed, you know, praise the
-
Lord. God bless you.
-
They're saying these things. Yet those who are.
-
Discerning realized. Not so.
-
And there are some who. Will fall away from the faith,
-
only to give back into the faith because the Lord says, well
-
that's mine anyway. And you went out.
-
Of order in order to obtain it. Hallelujah so.
-
We understand then if we just stay with the Kingdom, then
-
riches, honor and enduring wealth.
-
Hallelujah right now. You're just like me.
-
You're like Lord. We need to crack that
-
revelation. More so, more so.
-
We need to crack that revelation how that works.
-
I still believe we're only scratching the surface of how
-
that functions, and mainly it's because we're not technically
-
seeking him to determine it. Now with that.
-
Being said, you have to honor your heart.
-
This passage is not seeking wealth.
-
This passage is. Seeking him.
-
So you always have to. Examine yourself when you're
-
going in, said, Oh Lord, I'm coming to seek you because I've
-
already concluded I am completely taken care of.
-
I'm in your Kingdom. I am the wealthiest person on
-
the planet and it doesn't have to be in my account.
-
Hallelujah. But I do have access.
-
Hallelujah. And you're going to give me the.
-
Idea You're going to give me the wisdom, you're going to tell me
-
how to navigate. You're going to help me, you're
-
going to show me, and I'm going to seek you.
-
And I am not going to look at the world's ways to determine,
-
in fact, Abraham. Abraham.
-
Turned away. The world's way.
-
Literally, God made him. Exceedingly wealthy.
-
Which means, again, let me say Jacob real quick so we can get
-
over to Communion. Remember Jacob?
-
Jacob had been working for Laban for 10 years.
-
He changed his wage constantly. Now the Lord's like you got to
-
go. I've changed his ways 10 times.
-
He worked in 20 years. He's going to leave now.
-
And so he goes lame and says, look, I'm going to, I need to
-
take care of my own family. It's time for me to go back
-
home. He said, OK, name your price.
-
He said, look, I I'm not asking you to do anything.
-
Why does he do that 'cause you're not an honest guy and the
-
world system is not honest. All markets are manipulated.
-
They are driven by fear. Everything, everything.
-
It's the spirit of fear. So as a result of that, he says,
-
I don't need you to do anything. I just want every sheep that is
-
spotted, right? They have spots on them now when
-
Laban looks out at his flock. There are very few spotted
-
sheep. So he's like.
-
It's great deal. What he doesn't know is that God
-
gave him a business plan in his dream, in a dream where he had
-
to bring some reeds to the watering through.
-
A thing that is. Not happening anywhere.
-
And based upon that method he transferred all the wealth and
-
strength of the flock to produce nothing but spotted sheep.
-
So much so that Laban looks out one day or he gets a report from
-
his guys that there are way more spotted sheep and they're a lot
-
stronger than your feeble looking plain ones.
-
And what did he want? To do still again, because
-
that's what the system does. You weren't for me.
-
You make me wealth and I'll steal from you.
-
But Jacob. 'S life it's time to go packed
-
the family up and they were gone right Abraham had gotten had
-
received God ideas on his wealth with his livestock.
-
Then he received divine favor from kings that gave him wealth.
-
Then when he went to go conquer some kings because his nephew
-
and his family had been seized. The King.
-
Of Sodom, who was a extremely unrighteous king.
-
Horrible community that did not make it in the planet.
-
Out of. Appreciation.
-
Says to him. You can keep the spoils.
-
And what does Abram say to that king system?
-
He says, I'm taking nothing from you.
-
This is powerful. See, this is no a person who has
-
heard the voice of God, who doesn't conclude all the wealth
-
of the wicked laid up for the righteous, just 'cause I know
-
the Scripture, I'm taking it. It may not be applicable.
-
In this case, it was not applicable.
-
And he says no, I'm taking nothing from you because I know
-
you. I've been given an inside track
-
of your character and you'll go around and tell everyone that
-
the prosperity that I have, you're the one who gave it to
-
me. You going to take credit for it.
-
So I'm taking nothing from you. Now the guys who came with me,
-
they get to replenish anything they use, but for me, I get
-
nothing. Only one person is going to be
-
known that they brought me wealth is it's the Lord.
-
It's the Lord which tells me maybe some who are getting great
-
gains and stocks should never talk about it.
-
Well, the stock market. Made you wealth?
-
No, I was in a closet and the Lord told me to invest in that.
-
But the world won't believe. That it's a choke conspiracy.
-
We close with this third John. The second verse says this.
-
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be
-
in good health. How?
-
Just as your soul prospers, so this is the three dimension of
-
man. Do you understand?
-
Number one, because we are born again.
-
Our spirit man is alive unto God.
-
We are made righteous. We are the righteous of God in
-
Christ. We have access to the throne
-
room of heaven. We have access to the throne of
-
grace. He will give us help and time of
-
need. We can boldly come before the
-
throne. We have access because the
-
Spirit of God living in us. He is our financial advisor and
-
He is extremely wise. Extremely.
-
Wise again, when you have that kind of financial advisor, you
-
can receive funds from anywhere. Jesus showed.
-
This because he was full of the Holy Ghost.
-
And he says, Peter. Go fishing and he gets tax money
-
without having to go all the way back and find Judas and get it
-
out of their account. He let the fish.
-
Go bring him wealth that day. He could pray.
-
Over the amount he has and it would multiply in front of him.
-
See again we. Want to have certain things yet?
-
The Lord's like, I'll take care of what's already in you.
-
You don't. You don't know how much rice you
-
actually have right now. Oh, you don't want to see
-
because the Kingdom system of wealth looks way different.
-
That you may be in a. Place that you're like, man,
-
we're going to have to eat here. The Lord's like you have no idea
-
how much is actually in your cupboard right now.
-
You have more than every stockroom in the nation right in
-
that one little jar. Oh, you're not you're not
-
hearing me. I mean, you got to get
-
revelation of this. You understand you have more
-
access than every Amazon warehouse right now.
-
You have more access than that that it could be in your
-
cupboard right now. That when the.
-
Worries of the world and recession and inflation and all
-
these things are happening and like, how are we going to pair
-
out you like we can always pay the house.
-
We're going to have the house paid off.
-
We're going to have this you're It's amazing what God can do
-
with what you have. God says.
-
You want to know who the wealthiest was today in the
-
offering? It wasn't the wealthy ones, it
-
was the one who gave everything she had.
-
And to you it seemed insignificant, but it opened up
-
the windows of heaven. And now that account will flow.
-
Every. Time.
-
Miracle. We we are all hungering and
-
thirsting for miracle signs and wonders, but the only ones we
-
want are blind eyes open, the lame walking, the deaf ears
-
coming up. And nobody wants a miracle of
-
you know what, honey? We may not have enough for
-
groceries. In fact, God spoke to me today
-
that I should give extra in the offering, which means we're not
-
going to buy groceries this week.
-
Oh. Y'all don't want to hear this?
-
At all. Why?
-
Because it's crazy thinking. We are going to.
-
Sew that. And every time.
-
Because I heard the Lord say there's more than enough rice.
-
So why? More than enough this week.
-
And every time you go, if it can happen for a widow woman back
-
then, it's the same word. Is this good yesterday, today
-
and forever? But we don't want to tap into
-
that because the deception, the seduction, the conspiracy is you
-
got to see your wealth. You got to feel your wealth.
-
You got to have access to your wealth all the time where you
-
can see it, check in on all your accounts, look at your
-
portfolio, know your net worth. Yeah, you walk into.
-
A cover and says Publix does not have as much rice stock today as
-
I do. Cause I've heard from.
-
The King. And that is not.
-
Lack. That is more than enough.
-
That's exceeding abundantly beyond what you could think or
-
imagine. See, we think exceedingly
-
abundantly are huge numbers. How in the world can I put gas
-
in my tank and it go 5 weeks? That's called.
-
Exceedingly abundantly beyond what you could ask or think,
-
'cause he just kept it in the tank.
-
Now, that doesn't mean you. Won't have material possessions
-
that you can't arrive to certain aspects of great wealth, sure,
-
as long as when you come to that place and the Lord says so that
-
100,000. That you're like.
-
Sure. Been waiting on you.
-
To ask. That's why it was there the
-
whole time. And yet we're teaching.
-
The church that you you barely are going to make it.
-
You're hardly going to make it. Just wait till you get to
-
heaven. The Lord's like there's not a
-
warehouse in the earth. That's right.
-
That's. Right 'cause I'm going to.
-
Tell you your greatest resource and I'm going to close with this
-
and we're going to do communion. So come on ushers, listen.
-
The wealthiest? Nations today are the ones
-
holding the oil, the ones holding the oil, the ones who
-
have a deep reservoir. What kind of?
-
Oil are you holding right now? What kind of oil is on the
-
inside of you? What?
-
Anointing. Do you have?
-
How? What?
-
Kind of oil reserve, are you carrying that you're not tapping
-
into? It's the wealthiest thing.
-
You just got to pull it up. Just got to pull it up.
-
Just pull it up, pull it up. And as you pull it up, praying
-
in the Spirit. Building up your.
-
Most holy faith. 'Cause with faith.
-
You can do anything. Pulling up the word.
-
Of the king pulling up wisdom, pulling up insight, shutting
-
down all the voices. You just keep drilling.
-
Pulling it up, pulling it up, pulling it up produce some
-
barrel after barrel after barrel after barrel after barrel after
-
barrel. And when all the natural oil
-
runs dry, the Holy Ghost lives forever.
-
You have an. Exhaustible supply of the Spirit
-
and. The devil wants to.
-
Seduce you with pleasurable desires that God says I would
-
gladly give you if you just seek my Kingdom.
-
Cause with me. You'll never be in.
-
Lack if you're here today and. You've never made Jesus, the
-
Lord of your life, come to the wealthiest place on the planet.
-
It's the Kingdom. It's the Kingdom and I do
-
believe in these last days, not only will things we have
-
multiply because God is just doing that to test our faith.
-
But we'll. Also just have and those who
-
have is because they know how to hear.
-
Because what they have. Doesn't have them, they're just
-
waiting to sow it. In essence, I'm just looking for
-
another good work to give it away.
-
I'm just going to give it away. I just need to give it away.
-
Because I just have. So much.
-
Because I have. The name of Jesus.
-
What else do I need? Because I can ask the.
-
Father anything in his. And he will do it.
-
According to his will, wow. Thank you so much.
