Seven Spirits of God - The Reigning Spirit

verse. First John chapter 4, verse one.

We'll read just the first part of this verse, and then we'll

jump down to verse four. It says this, beloved, do not

believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they

are from God. Do not believe every spirit,

every spirit, which means there's more than one spirit.

Now there's only one Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God, but there

are other spirits. In fact, we are a spirit.

We are a spirit. Inside us is our makeup, who we

are are our origination. In order to know who we are, you

have to go to Genesis 126 that said then God said, let us make

man in our image according to our likeness and let them have

dominion over the fish, to see the birds of the sky, over all

the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing

that creeps on the earth. So he so God made man and male

and female in his image to be able to have him function in the

dominion. You go to chapter 2.

It says he formed man out of the dust of the earth, and then he

breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.

So man is a spirit, and that spirit has a soul attached to

it, and it's within a body. Now, again, we separate these

for the sake of teaching, but they're functioning together,

OK? They are separate elements, but

yet they're especially the soul and the spirit.

They're so intertwined. And again, you're not to be

absent from the body. When we see this in Scripture,

we're just saying that this particular earth suit we can be

absent from. But you understand, we have

another body. We are going to, it's called a

glorified body. So every spiritual being has a

body, all right, They has a body.

Angels have a body. Cherifem have bodies.

Our sheriff from have body cherubims sheriffims, you know

of those angels, right, Seraphims, that's what kind of

rhyming right now anyway, the S class of created beings, the C

Class of created beings and then the angels.

All right, God himself has a body.

If you remember in Scripture Moses said, Lord, I want to see

your glory and God is spirit. He said I want to see your

glory. He says no man can look at me,

cannot do it, they'll die. But it's what I'll do.

I'm going to, I'm going to hide you in the cleft of the rock.

I'm going to put my hand on you. I'm going to pass by and then

remove my hand and you can see my back parts.

Well, if God didn't have a body, you couldn't see his back.

OK, but he's still a spiritual being.

We are breathed by God. Our existence came into being

not because God said let there be and there was.

God said let's make man. He spoke animals, He spoke

plants, He spoke all other in the earth creation.

But when it came to us, he said he they're going to be like me,

they're going to be of my nature.

So he had to breathe. So from his spirit became our

spirit. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

And so we are a spirit being. Angels are OK, but it tells us

to test every spirit. OK, but to test the spirits,

because not everything being spoken comes from the Lord.

Which means when Jesus publicly preached for the first time, His

first words were not where are you going to go when you die?

His first words were not You must believe that I died on the

cross and rose from the dead and asked me to be your Savior.

That was not His public ministry.

His first public message was this word Repent for the Kingdom

of heaven is at hand. Repent is not a religious word.

It means change your thinking. And he is saying that what

you're hearing is not accurate information.

It is not exactly how God intended things.

And if you're going to, if you're going to have access or

you're going to walk into or be a part of the Kingdom, then

you're going to have to change the way you think.

So we are conditioned prior to being born again to hear other

spirits. And we know their voice, I said.

We know their voice and their voice always causes us to side

with the flesh. It moves us down the road that

brings death and destruction and keeps us separated from the plan

and purpose of God. But Jesus said you can change

your thinking now. You're going to be able to

change your thinking now. So when Adam was made in the

image of God, he was created to have dominion.

He said, Adam, you can eat from any tree of the garb, but of the

tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

You shall not eat for the day, for the day, save the day for

the day you eat, you will. Surely you're going to what?

So we say this and it bears repeating because we have guests

today and we're trying to help get you out of religion.

If Adam had never eaten the fruit, where would he be today?

He would be here on the earth, which tells us Adam was not

trying to go to heaven because heaven always came here.

In essence, heaven is not the goal anyway.

The goal is to be with God. The goal is to be with God and

born of God. That's the goal.

So if God wants to take me to Mars, I'll go to Mars with him.

If he wants to take me to the furthest Galaxy, I'll go there.

I am not sold out on only going to heaven.

Now will I go? Sure, cause again, because man

fell because Adam did disobey God, because he did eat the

fruit and sin enter the world and and and and humanity was cut

off from God and now Adam C produced after its own kind,

which was death, destruction, separated from God.

We now will die and leave this earth suit.

And so to leave it we are if you're born of God, you'll be

present with him. If you're not born of God,

you'll be eternally separated from him eventually to be thrown

into the lake of fire. You'll go to a holding cell, and

it's not pretty, but it's not the end.

Remember, the rich man lifted up his eyes and he was in great

torment, and he saw Abraham on the other side.

Now Abraham's not on that side anymore, but at the time Abraham

was on the other side and he saw Lazarus, who used to be one of

his servants, in Abraham's arms, his bosom.

OK, This is what's called paradise.

Jesus refers to paradise on the cross.

He looks to the one thief and he says, today you'll be with me in

paradise. Paradise is not heaven.

Paradise is not heaven. Paradise was a grave

compartment. It was it was part of the grave.

It was part of a Chamber of death and it was holding the

righteous dead, meaning those who believed that the Christ

would come, they were in faith of a day where they could be

redeemed. Even though they have gone on

and their voice and their being is off the planet, they were

still in a place awaiting the King.

And so that rich man looks up and he says, could you have

Lazarus come over here and dip his finger in some water and put

it on my tongue? I'm in great torment.

It's holding tank, holding cell. And Abraham says there's a great

chasm. Fix that abyss between me and

you. We can't go over there.

You can't go over here. The choices of your life have

sealed where you're at right now, and so they are still in

that place of torment, only to be resurrected from it.

Now what do I mean resurrected? In the end, the Bible says that

the grave will give up the dead. In essence, it's their trial

date. And the great king of, oh, the

Ancient of Days, the Bible calls him as he sits on his throne in

heaven and Jesus Christ sits at his right hand.

The grave will give up the dead and the dead will come to the

throne room. We call it the great white

throne judgment. They will see a place they could

have participated in. Oh, y'all don't want to hear

this? I mean, it's one thing to live

life like you want to down here and then go to a place of

torment. It's another thing to leave

torment and go before the presence of God and all they

could have participated with, only to hear these words depart

from me. I never knew you.

Your name is not in the book. You chose to stay out of the

book. You chose to reject me as Lord.

You chose to denounce me as your King.

So you receive what you want, and that's eternal separation.

And the lake of fire will open its mouth and they will receive

all the dead, and they will be in that place for eternity where

there's torment, weeping and gnashing of teeth, and they go

by choice. Anytime you hear someone say,

how could a loving God send someone to hell, say he doesn't.

They want to go. Well, nobody wants to go.

Well, if you don't accept Jesus Christ as Lord, you want to go,

well, I don't believe that. You want to go and there you go.

You want to go. Well I don't think it's the only

way you want to go. Jesus said I'm the way, the

truth and the life. No man comes through the Father

but through me. You want to go.

This is not a Jesus problem. This is not a God the Father

problem. This is not a Holy Ghost drawing

you problem. This is you do not want to

submit to the lordship of Jesus. You want to go to hell.

You want to go Now. You may be in deception right

now, and many are and they get out of it, but some they are

not. They harden their heart.

They do not want to go. They are not going to go.

And they're going to find out that it was wrong.

And they even kind of, you know, run around and say I'm going to

run hell one day. No, you're not.

No, you won't run it. The devil's not running in

either because hell is not the devil's.

We portray hell like it's the devil's place.

The devil's not in hell. That's not his base camp.

That's not where his headquarters is.

Hell or the lake of fire. Is God the Father's prison

system in his Kingdom? It's his prison system.

Are you hearing what I'm saying? So there are other spirits out

there that are speaking, but we have the Holy Spirit.

When man fell from dominion, the spirit of God that was attached

to man had to leave. Because you cannot have the

spirit. A Holy Spirit or holy God

attached to a corrupt spirit will not happen.

But God say, but God say but God.

But God, being rich in His mercy, had a plan because he's

obligated to His Word. The minute the Father said, let

us make man our image. If man fails to do what he says,

he still is going to provide a way so that man can be in the

position. He declares.

No one will ever stand before the Lord and say, I couldn't get

there. We can't blame Adam, right?

Well, it's Adam, so I'm in sickles.

Adam can't blame Adam. Jesus paid the price.

Jesus took on the sin Adam brought and all of us have

committed on our own free will. So Jesus provided the way so

that we could come back into the Kingdom to walk into life like

we were always destined to walk into and to not experience

death. OK, but when he he came so that

we could have life and life more abundantly, He did not come just

to change us to the point that we're going to live any old way

we want to down here. And the goal is to go to heaven.

That's not what he did. He came to change us so that we

can become a child of God. Now we can become a son of a

king now we can walk in our authority and kingship now.

And more importantly, he puts his spirit back in us.

So in this first John chapter 4, when it says this, beloved, do

not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether

they are from God. Do you understand?

The Holy Spirit may not be the only spirit talking to you.

In fact, I'll submit to you. He is not, however, And the ones

that speak to you more often will be demonic spirits, the

spirits of the world. A spirit of fear, spirit of fear

is talking to the church all the time, talking to believers all

the time. A spirit of lack is always

talking. The spirit of infirmity talks to

believers all the time about their sickness, and they're in

They're sick, and God is not necessarily here to heal them.

In fact, the spirit of infirmity will tell you that God is

putting it on you to teach you something.

Well, if that's the case, then you should never go to a doctor

until you learn what He's teaching you.

But it's not a true statement. It's called deception.

It's to keep you in a state of weakness and not in the

empowering place you were supposed to be.

Angels can talk to us. They are spirits.

However, we are not looking to angels to receive instruction.

We're not trying to follow angels.

We are not to do that. But God can use them to speak to

us. And again, we've said this in

our series on angels, just so you understand.

If someone ever comes up and says, oh, I saw an Angel say big

deal, so have I. And if you're a person that

says, well, wait a minute, no, I've never seen one.

Well, the Bible says that we entertain angels unaware, that

when we do things to strangers that we don't know that we've

entertained angels unaware. Probably everyone in this room

has actually seen an Angel, you just were unaware of it at the

time. So when people try to get you to

follow them because they saw an Angel, they're trying to put on

this perception that they're more spiritual and in tune with

the spirit world. So they really want you to come

seek them for the advice. In essence, they want to be the

Jesus of your life. The go between to hear the

Father for your life. Man, you need that's a red flag.

Beware, beware, beware. Now, that doesn't mean someone

can't, God can't use someone to speak to you on behalf of God,

but they're not seeking you to follow them.

They're not seeking you that if you need a word from God, come

see me. And you should never go to

someone and say I need a word from God.

You should go to God. Just go to God, right?

You said, well, I have a hard time understanding.

Well, the only reason you have a hard time understanding what God

says is because you're not in the Word, because the Word is

the voice of God. And if you want to train

yourself to hear the Spirit of God, then be in Scripture, read

the Bible cover to cover every year, be in it, listen to it, be

in the Pauline epistles and understand what's the in this

covenant for the church. And you'll hear the Spirit of

God because it will only speak what the Word is speaking.

Amen. This is not hard, but it does

require discipline. I said it does require

discipline. Then verse four says you are

from God, little children, and have overcome them because

greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

That tells us you have the reigning Spirit.

Come on, you have the reigning spirit.

Do I need to remind you this year, 2024, we're talking about

the reigning spirit. We have to remind ourselves that

the Spirit we have, which is the Holy Spirit, he is the reigning

Spirit. He reigns, He rules, He submits

only to Jesus and Jesus submits to the Father.

But they are three and one. They are always in agreement.

But any other spirit, the Holy Spirit does not yield to, I said

does not yield to. So we have the Holy Spirit

because greater is he that is in you than he that's in the world.

Hallelujah. I perceive in my spirit right

now that this verse means very little to you because you've

heard it so much. You know, we can hear certain

scriptures so much that we don't really have a revelation

response. The greater one is in you, the

greater one is in you. You house, the third person of

the Godhead. In you is the power that created

the heavens and the earth. In you is the one that was

hovering over the face of the deep, waiting for the Word.

In you is the greater one then the one that's in the world.

In you is waiting for the voice of the king to give a decree.

In you is the power of all creation, and is waiting for the

voice of the king to speak the name and it He moves, he moves

and he performs and he does. He's in you.

He's in you, he's in you the flesh try to run me down on the

track. Whoa, glory to God.

I just kick in another gear by the spirit can't do it.

The greater one don't even don't even don't embarrass yourself,

Satan or flesh to try to run me down.

Don't even embarrass yourself because if I even sniff that

you're trying to show up out, kick in another gear, I'll

continue to separate from you cause the greater one.

But the minute you lose that revelation, then you'll see

yourself common. Come on.

Yeah, come on. I mean, we almost put that

scripture back up. We almost treat this Scripture

like it's cliche, like it's a cliche statement.

Well, the greater one lives in me.

But then why are you acting so defeated today?

Why are you complaining today? Why are you talking about your

sickness so much? Why are you saying you can't go

to a school and pray? Because the greater want to take

you there and the greater one has already endued you with

power. My gosh.

Amen. Y'all be seated.

Thank you, Revelation chapter one.

I want to talk to you about this reigning spirit.

This was one of the things that I knew I needed to deal with

this year. When it comes to this spirit,

many don't read Revelations because they're afraid of it.

And I'm going to be honest with you, if you have this thought,

I'm going to say something to provoke you.

It's intentional. Do not get offended by it, but

it's definitely there to provoke you.

You have this thought. Well, I don't really deal with

Revelations because it's too complicated and I don't really

because God's going to take care of the rest in the end.

I don't worry about it. He's going to do what He's going

to do. That is ignorant speaking.

We need to know and we have the Holy Spirit in US who is a

teacher and he knows all truth and he's not withholding you

revelation. That is another spirit telling

you don't try to learn revelations because they the

enemy can always win against a believer when he keeps you in

ignorance. And if you if you have willful

ignorance because you do not want to discipline yourself to

seek, then that's why you lose. I mean, again, that's like me

going to the Paris and be a walk on right for the 100 meter, the

fastest man in the world stuff, right?

These guys are running nine second things, 100 meters, and I

get up there, right? Shit.

Now I shoot out all. I shoot off, right?

How many believe I'm going to smoke them all?

Yeah, that's what I thought. Now, here's the thing.

That's all you got to do. Thank you.

That's all you got to do. Just get in the race.

Sure. No training required.

Let me tell you what's going to happen within the 1st 10 steps

if I do not pull a hamstring, if I'm fortunate enough not to do

that. OK, It's going to be obvious who

is not trained for this event. It's going to be obvious.

Well, who's that guy? He's never, he's never trained

now. I mean, I can.

I mean, I've watched enough. I've watched enough.

You know those few little Mamas, y'all have seen them do that.

But I definitely am not stretched out.

That ain't happened. I mean, there's no way.

And yet we as believers want to be willfully ignorant and think

we can get in the race and win. Like, and because here's what we

do, we want this fantasy. Well, I'm just going to get the

Holy Ghost come upon me. And he, the Holy Ghost is there

to make what you've already trained even greater.

The Holy Ghost was never to be the absence of your training,

but it was always to cause what you already are in to even be

greater than what it already is. It doesn't relieve us from

responsibility. In fact, it guarantees that we

are to train so that we are the most fit.

Because if you're not trained, you've given the Holy Ghost

nothing to work with. Now, he may speak to your spirit

and say, yeah, when you die, you're going to go to heaven,

but that's not all. That's not the plan.

That's not what God the Father intended.

That's not why Jesus Christ died.

He's going to speak to you about other things that you're

supposed to do. I want to remind you of some

things, but you don't have anything in you to remind.

I want to perform some supernat, but you're not listening and

going to the places and doing the things I'm asking you to do

so that I can do more through you.

So training has to happen. All right, so in John Chapter 7,

we're going to read our revelation.

We must be people who are not afraid of books in the Bible.

And there are things in the Bible that makes us go, yeah,

you know what? I think if there's ever a time

on the planet to get some answers to the, it's now because

the King's coming and he's not withholding truths from us.

He has truths for us that he freely will give as we seek him.

He does not give it to the casual listener.

In fact, right now, the things God says he's just because

you're hearing me doesn't mean you're hearing me, because

Jesus, who is the King, was on the planet, would say he who has

ears, let him hear. Well, was the crowd without

ears? Obviously that's not true.

Was the whole crowd hearing impaired?

That wasn't true physically, but were they hearing impaired

spiritually? Yes, and it was based upon their

hunger to know God. So you can be here and I can say

something that the person beside you goes, glory to God because

they're hungry and you're like, what's their deal?

So the only thing you're hungry for is what restaurants you're

going to after service today. And if I get geared up, no one

will be there when you get there because at 2:00, very few people

are there. Just kidding, I'm not going that

long today. Today.

All right, Revelations 1, Revelation chapter one, verse 4

through 6. Look what it says.

John to the seven churches that are in Asia, grace to you, and

peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from

the what? 7 spirits who are before his

throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the first

born of the dead, and the ruler of what?

The kings of the earth, the kings of the not heaven, not

heaven, the kings of Who are those kings?

Come on, who are those kings? We are to Him who loves us and

released us from our sins by His blood, and He has made us to be

a Kingdom priest to His God and Father.

To Him be the glory and the dominion, forever and ever.

Amen. So we see here in Revelations

1/4 that there are 7 spirits before the before His throne.

Look at Revelation chapter 3 verse one, Revelation chapter 3

verse one as Paul's writing to the church, this particular

church, he said the Angel of the church.

Now again, if you see scripture, they tell you what they are the

angels, OK? Are the messengers, are the

pastors of the church, the candle sticks or stands?

Are the churches themselves OK? So he holds the candles, you

know, sticks in his hand, and then he has the the stars, which

are the angels of the churches, and angels means messenger.

So he says you go talk to the pastors of these particular

churches and notice they were all his churches.

But Jesus in grace was rebuking quite a few of them.

In fact, more he was correcting now.

He had something good to say to all of them but one but one but

all of them, he had something good to say.

He bled with it. Being positive, going to be

positive to you, you know, let's go talk to the patch.

Tell him I like what they're doing here, but then tell them

they're going to have to fix this, right?

There's only one church that was not a fixed issue.

It was just accolades, and that's the Church of

Philadelphia. OK.

There's another one that he didn't have really a negative.

He was just warning them of a season of trial that was coming.

OK. One he was really upset about

and he communicates to full five very specifically that if they

do not repent or change they would he would take their

candle. Which means an essay saying

you're not my church. Oh y'all don't want to hear

this? See we assume just because on

the building it says church that it is an authorized one.

But it may not even be authorized.

It may be a man's church, but it's not Jesus Christ's church.

And Jesus lets us know in Revelation every church that is

mine. I'm examining them.

And if they don't stay listening to my voice because I'm Lord,

because that's my church, my church would obey my voice.

And if they don't obey my voice and repent and do the things

that I'm telling them to do, then I'll pull my candle.

In essence, it's your church, not mine.

I'll go on down the road and we'll start another one though.

To the Angel of the church he writes, he who has seven spirits

of God and the seven stars says this, I know your deeds and that

you have a name, that you are alive, but you are dead.

Did you hear that? He tells this church.

Well, the community says you're alive.

The people within your church say you're alive.

I just happen to know you did. Wow.

Listen, this is actually in the earth today.

This church actually existed. So it's possible to be in a

church that is self-proclaimed alive.

It is possible to discern whether that's a true statement

or not when you attend to church.

All right, but notice again 7 spirits of God.

Now look at Revelation chapter 5, verse six.

He said. I saw between the throne with

the four living creatures, the elders of a lamb standing as if

slain, and this lamb that was standing as if slain, having

seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of

God sent out into all the earth. Now in the Bible 7 is a number

of completion, OK? It means completion.

So throughout Scripture, based upon the Scripture here, you

need to understand that eyes suggests knowledge and wisdom,

and horns suggest power. If we spent a little more time

in Revelation, we'll see a beast going to come up.

It has 10 horns. Those are nations, Those are

powers. OK, so again, this lamb that was

slain has seven eyes, which is the perfection, right?

So this Lamb has knowledge, wisdom, power, fulfilled

perfectly. So it's wisdom is perfect and

it's power is perfect. So when it says he has seven

horns, seven eyes, it's communicating the perfection of

his power and of his wisdom and knowledge.

And would we disagree that Jesus Christ is perfect when it comes

to wisdom and knowledge and perfect in power?

Is He perfect in power? Who is the king of all the

earth? Jesus, whose name is above every

name Jesus. OK, so he has perfect power.

He is the completion of power. He is the completion of all rule

and all the Bible says will bow down and acknowledge Him as Lord

is not a religious word. It means supreme and authority.

All will bow down to Jesus. Everyone.

There's only one being that does not.

It's the Father because Jesus Christ the Son is submitted to

the Dad. Are you hearing me?

But all other creation is going to be submitted to Jesus, even

if you rejected him. So all who are cast into the

lake of fire will perform this act.

You are Lord. They'll say it out of their

mouth, but it'd be too late for it for it to be a benefit to

them. It'll be a benefit to them.

So it says the seven spirits of God.

Well, there's seven. Well, seven is completion.

So when we say the seven spirits, and though it's plural,

it would be plural because when you add a larger number in front

of a noun, OK, because you're just, you're basically

describing a quantity. You would plural make it plural.

OK, but we're not really talking about seven different spirits as

an entity. In fact, John is referring to a

prophecy that Isaiah spoke of. Now we know this prophecy of

Isaiah. Isaiah Chapter 9 starting in

verse six, right? Isaiah Chapter 9, starting in

Isaiah 9 · chapter mention

verse six, says a child will be born.

A son will be given notice, a child's born, not a son's born.

And the reason why the son's not born is because the Son always

existed, because the Son is the Son of God and we call him

Jesus. All right, a child is born.

And the reason a child has to be born is because God gave the

earth to man, so it requires a man to get it back.

Dominion over the earth was assigned to man.

So in order for man to have an opportunity to walk back in that

dominion, it requires a man to get it.

But it cannot be a man in the nature of Adam who has fallen.

It has to be a man in the nature of God.

So God gives his son through the virgin woman Mary.

A child is will be born, a son will be given, and the

government, Isaiah says will rest on his shoulder and he'll

be called eternal father, Prince of Peace and some other

accolades. Right Then we get into verse

seven, it says, and there'll be no end to the increase of his

government or of peace. This will be established on the

throne of David. David is in Jesus's bloodline,

the natural one. So if you follow David all the

way up to Joseph, you'll you'll find there is a natural

bloodline that takes him to Joseph.

Joseph, however, did not father Jesus because Jesus was born of

a virgin. If you take David's bloodline

and carry it up to Mary, you'll find it because Mary is a direct

descendant from King David, but so is Joseph.

They both happened to be all right, and so Jesus was born.

So he has a legal right to the throne of David in the natural.

Are you hearing me? And Jesus is the first born of

Mary. He would be the one who has a

right to the throne, but he's also the Son of God.

Hallelujah. He's the Son of God and he's a

man who knew no sin. He empties himself of his glory,

comes in the form of a man so that he can be the sacrifice.

He can take on our sins so that we can take on his

righteousness. All right.

And so we see that there's this government that would be

established as the Kingdom. That's why Jesus only preached

the Kingdom because it was always about a the Bible's about

a king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.

It was always about us becoming sons of God, not a destination

where we go when we die, but we become sons of God where we are

in the likeness of of God again and in the position that he

originally created us, which was to rule Thunder God over his

creation. And we can do that now.

This is why when Jesus says, look, all authority has been

given to me. Well, good, I'm glad it's yours.

But he says go in essence, go in my authority.

You ask anything in my name. It's so powerful for us to walk

in our kingship while we're in the earth, but not only did God

want our nature like him, He wanted us to have the connection

with his realm again, which is the Holy Spirit.

So Isaiah 2 chapters later, Isaiah Chapter 11, starting in

Isaiah 11 · chapter mention

verse one makes reference to this child that's coming.

It says then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse.

Now you know who Jesse is. Jesse is the father of David and

a branch from his roots will bear fruit.

This and verse two. Look what it says.

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him.

The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of

counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the

Lord Jesus said in Luke chapter 4.

Luke 4 · chapter mention

The Spirit. Of the Lord is upon me, for he

has anointed me. John said that the Spirit told

me that the one who comes and the Holy Spirit comes upon him

without measure. He's the One, He's the one.

Well, you know if you've been at a church that we have taken the

time to already show that then when the anointing or when the

Holy Spirit came upon Jesus and the Father said, this is my

beloved Son and whom I'm well, please.

It is the King of heaven announcing to the earth who his

King is. This is my son.

He's the one who has the right to the throne, and I just

anointed him. In the old covenant they

anointed with oil. Oil was a type and shadow of the

Holy Ghost that was to come. John says I baptize you with

water, but he's going to come and baptize you with the Holy

Spirit. When the Holy Spirit baptizes

you, you are anointed. So when you receive the Holy

Spirit upon you, it is your kingship announcement to the

world that a new king is in play who is following the King of

kings. And so Jesus Christ was anointed

of the Holy Spirit. He was anointed of the Holy

Spirit. This is Jesus who is God in the

flesh. However, the Father will not let

him do any ministry until he has this anointing, until the Holy

Spirit comes upon him, and it says this, which is even

greater. It said it rested up until this

point. There were three people in the

Old covenant that the Holy Spirit would access the prophet,

the priest and the king, but the Holy Spirit did not stay on

them. It would come upon them and then

lift, which tells us David, as anointed as he was, he

experienced many times in life without the Spirit upon him.

Which is why it's pretty easy for him to conclude that when

he's looking at Bathsheba one day, the Holy Ghost was not upon

him that day. Because if it was upon him that

day, then he would have never said, you need to get that woman

up over here. Who is this woman?

But she's married. Don't care, she's fine.

Bring her home. He never would have said that

with the anointing on him. Are you hearing me?

So again, the anointing came on him and left him.

This is why David would be distressed after that moment

because he knows well, I know when it lifts and I know when it

lifted off Saul. And I know how King Saul treated

me and I know what it's like to have it on me and have it off me

and I don't want it ever taken from me.

Oh, you ain't hearing what I'm saying.

This is why Moses said, when Joshua said people are

prophesying in the camp and I'm trying to say he said, man, I

wish all of you could have the presence of God come upon you

like it has come upon me because you would be different today if

you experience this. But yet we're in a new and

better covenant because when Jesus comes, it rests.

It rests. He's not having it up and down.

It rests. It rests because Jesus's action

on the planet was not to show the world what God can do or

what Jesus can do, but to show us what we can do because now

He's given us the Spirit within us.

The Holy Ghost rests in US and then comes upon us and anoints

us. And you know what?

I can operate in that anointing all the time.

The Holy Ghost isn't leaving me. I mean, we're in a new and

better. Can we have no excuse?

Do you understand what kind of darkness you've got to surround

yourself around to be able to do the things of the world when the

Holy Ghost is in you and has come upon you and is always

present talking this beings, we are supernatural beings.

How amazing is this is that guy's like man, I'm fixing to

take this whole species of being called humanity.

I'm getting them a little step closer to the garden again.

I'm going to put my spirit in them.

I'm going to write their laws in their heart.

I'm going to change their nature.

Their nature can hear my spirit, then my spirit to come on them

and give them power and I'll send them the Holy Spirit or

I'll send them the seven spirits of God.

What are the seven spirits of God?

Here it is in Isaiah Chapter 11, verse two.

Let me read this out of the amplified real quick classic.

It says the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit

of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel might, the

spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of

the Lord. So it isn't that there are seven

different spirits, rather the spirit of the Lord has these

characteristics and he has them all in the fullness and

perfection. So the first one is the Spirit

of the Lord. That's number one.

And I'm going to take some time next week to break these down

because this first one is amazing.

This first one's amazing because at face value, we're all seeing

the Spirit of the Lord, but there's something even deeper

than that, and I can't wait to talk to you about it.

The first one though, of the seven spirits of God, the Spirit

of the Lord #2 the Spirit of Wisdom.

Notice God has given you the Spirit of Wisdom.

We are the wisest people on the planet.

Should we access what is upon us and who is in US?

Isn't that amazing? I mean, for the business guys,

you know, there's no thing you're encountering that you

can't say. Let me go get with one of the

Holy Spirit who is perfect in wisdom.

How do I grow my company? The problem is most of us are

going to the world to learn how instead of seeking the Spirit of

wisdom who is in US. It's part of the new covenant.

I need we need to talk about a business strategy.

What do I do? And again, God the Father is not

obligated to give you the answer if you're asking a miss.

You know what I'm talking about, James, He says, yeah, ask, but

you do not receive, right? You know.

And so he deals with this whole little challenge of asking.

You have not 'cause you ask not then he says, but you ask and

you don't receive. And the reason you don't receive

is because you ask with the wrong motive.

And there are a lot of people that are asking God knowing in

their heart, this has nothing really to do with you.

I want you to bless me so I can do what I want to do with it,

not what you want to do with it. Which means he's not going to

reveal secrets. He's not here to reveal secrets

because everything is the Lord's.

And when you're like, how do, how do you want me to run this

business? Because I often ask this

question when someone, man, the Lord blessed me and I was able

to pay this off. My first thought is what are

they going to do now that they have extra money?

That's my first internal question.

I wonder what they're going to do now they have extra money.

I wonder if the Lord gave it to them so that they can do more

vacations, add more to their retirement, or will they become

a larger giver now for the purpose He has for their life

and for the church that they're connected with?

Will it show up because most people only want God to bless

their house and then they keep and control the wealth of their

home so they can talk about their net worth.

Instead of saying I have been blessed to give more, to be a

blessing. Brother Hagin said this.

I never asked God to bless me once.

Never. I asked the Lord to help me be a

blessing to others because if I'm going to be a blessing to

others by product, I'll be blessed.

Though he got his motive right. Oh, Lord bless me, that wasn't

it. Lord, let me be a blessing to

others, which means I got to think about other people 1st.

And if I'm thinking about other people first, then I'm consumed

with how do I help them? And I can't even help them if I

don't have anything to help them with.

And when you put others before yourself, the Lord's like,

here's this. And then you know, when the and

the process, he'll say, well, you can keep that for yourself

because you end up having so much.

You're like, what else can I do? I mean, I, I got more than

enough. Please can I find another way to

do something? But again, those people can hear

the ones that are trying to mooch off your more than enough.

All right. The third one is the spirit of

understanding. You know, I mean, believe it.

Like I just don't understand what's going on.

Well, you have the spirit of understanding.

I can't tell you how many husbands I've heard.

I just don't understand her. You have the spirit of

understanding. Why are you letting another

spirit say you can't figure out a female?

I don't have to. I'm not here to figure out my

wife. I'm here to obey God, to do

whatever the Lord wants me to do for my wife.

And I'm sure not confessing that she's a woman and it's

difficult. No, she's powerful, she's a

blessing, she's amazing. She's easy, extremely easy,

because she seeks the Lord. Not complicated, not

problematic. And you know what?

I can have understanding on how to please her, how to care for

her, how to take care of her. I just buy a shirt and say it's

all you got to do. No problem, babe, this is easy.

That's all you got to do Hallelujah #4 the spirit of

counsel. There are more believers talking

to other believers who have no wisdom, no understanding, never

tap into the Holy Ghost, and you're going to them for

counsel. Now, I'll be honest with you, I

haven't gotten there yet, but I'm close.

I'm close to take a playbook at a Pastor Darrell Huffman's

playbook. And that is if you want me to

counsel you, then you need to get here 30 minutes early so you

can pray in the Spirit in the and the sanctuary before we

meet. Because it is a waste of my time

to meet with you if you're unwilling to do what the Spirit

is saying. But if you're going to rebel

against God's counsel, you're surely going to rebel against

mine. And then I wasted an hour trying

to convince you of what God is saying.

I love you, but I must. What does the Bible say?

I don't care that that's happening.

But what does God say? You know how you can respond?

You know what the Spirit says? You have this fruit, Eat it.

I love you, Hallelujah. But many aren't going to the

counselor on the inside. Now, that doesn't mean if you do

all this, you would never have to have a pastor.

That's not true. You're going to have one.

He's there to help you. The fivefold ministry is there

for that. But this is what's contained

within you. You have the spirit of strength

#5 the spirit of strength. This is something that God is

perfect, Lord, perfect wisdom, perfect understanding, perfect

counsel, perfect strength. Man, I'm just so tired.

You have strength. This is why again I say, man,

I'm just so tired of going well, rejoice.

That's your problem. Your, your problem is not

getting a word from God because again, if you get a word from

God, it's set, it's suspect of whether you'll actually obey it.

It's a whole other thing when you begin to rejoice in the

midst of it. Now again, I'm going to give you

marriage counseling right now. I understand they're seeing

young people in here, but they're married.

And again, if your child could have been in one of our

children's or youth ministry, our children's ministry, that's

why we have it, because there's things I need to say to adults.

I know we have youth in here, but it doesn't matter.

They're already having to deal with this.

If you are having a challenge in your marriage in your room and

you're arguing, you need to rejoice again and the best way

is you to take the lead and start rejoicing by ripping your

clothes off and run around naked and rejoice.

Go ahead and get into your Garden of Eden suit and rejoice.

Throw off all constraints you say.

What's new? Did he have to do with it?

Has nothing to do with it, but it sure disarms a person.

Now some of you are saying I'd be naked all the time at the

house. Well, I mean, we were all naked

at one time, right? And when your kids are gone,

it's optional anyway. Can I say that?

Hallelujah. It's optional anyway, right?

Praise the Lord, Amen. Just rejoice again.

Again, I say, instead of getting mad because again, you're going

to have a hard time running out on your spouse in the midst of

an argument when you're naked. I believe in.

Well, you might want to put some clothes on. 1st Hallelujah

number six, the spirit of knowledge.

And the last is the spirit of the fear of the Lord.

All of these are contained within the Holy Ghost that's at

the throne of God. You know what that and the

reason why I like that analogy here in Rome in Revelations 5 is

because you get this mental picture.

God the Father is seated on the throne right here at his right

hand is his Son Jesus. And around the throne is the

seven spirits of God because the Holy Spirit can be everywhere.

Are you hearing what I'm saying? OK.

Because seven eyes means he's omniscient, ever present.

He's 7 horns omnipotent. He's all powerful, right.

And so here's the seven spirit that that you're going through,

you begin to speak to Jesus because your spirit is alive.

The Holy Ghost lives in you and it's a direct connect to the

throne room where you can go before the throne of grace and

your time of need. And you say Father in the name

of Jesus. So you're getting, you're not

even really talking to Jesus. You're talking straight to Dad.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I am authorized to come before

your throne right now. If we were doing a movie when

that prayer, it would show you catapulted into the throne room

of God and you would be personally present in front of

him with your knees bowed before the King of glory and Jesus

seated at the right hand of the Father.

And the seven spirits are moving along with the elders and, and,

and then all that's taking place, you'd be personally

present there. And when you're asking what's

necessary, then Jesus is saying spirit of strength.

If strength's what you need, spirit of knowledge.

If knowledge is what you need, spirit of understanding if

spirit of understanding is what you need.

He deploys them, deploys him and he comes to you in perfect

understanding of the situation of and the step you are.

You may not have perfect understanding on how it's going

to be resolved, but you can have perfect understanding of that

next step of how to stand. And when you've done all the

stand, you're going to stand because I just got the word from

God. I just received what I needed.

I just, I just received the download from the seven spirits

of God that is the Holy Ghost. I have access to all of these.

I'll leave you with this thought process because some people

can't conclude this. Those are the seven spirits of

God. But I find it interesting that

the Amplified Classic breaks down the Helper or calls him the

comforter, and there's seven different names associated with

it. Although we're talking about

Isaiah, not this one. But within the context of the

Holy Spirit, these characteristics exist.

But look what it says in verse 15.

It's a qualifying scripture. What do I mean qualify?

It contains the word if. If is a conditional statement,

which means if you do not meet the condition, you do not

qualify. Jesus is talking.

He says if you who's you, that's us.

So he says if you really love me, then you will keep or obey

my commands or my word. We see here commands don't

default and say, oh, that's the law, it's the word of God, OK,

it's the word of God. And so if you love God, you keep

his word, not say I love you, you keep his word.

So when you are a keeper of his word, then it.

And then he goes on and says, and I will ask the Father and he

will give you another comforter. He's also a counselor, he's a

helper, he's an intercessor, he's an advocate, he's a

strengthener, and he's a standby that he may remain with you for

how long? Forever.

Now there is one condition by which you can give him the boot.

And we're going to preach on that.

I'll probably do it on a Wednesday night because not

everybody's ready for the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost

sermon. But it's coming quicker than

later. All right, You can give him the

boot, but he'll remain with you forever.

Because when people say, well, now he'll never leave you nor

forsake you, He will never leave you.

He will never forsake you, but you can leave him.

Verse 17 The spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive

welcome, take it, take to its heart because it does not see

him or know him and recognize him, but you know and recognize

Him for He lives with you what constantly and will be so next

week, Todd, we probably should add to our worship service.

Come rest on us to remember. Oh, you already did it.

See, that's what I'm talking about.

It was already there. This is the Holy Ghost, bro.

It was already in the queue. So it's to remind us that the

seven spirits of God are in US and upon and has rested.

It's ever present. How can you be in trouble when

trouble comes? Because you already have the one

in you and upon you who's going to give you the way of escape?

Not only will it give you the plan out, but will then empower

you in your getting out, strengthen you in your in your

getting out, remove any obstacles so you can get out and

maintain your victory. Because greater y'all ain't

listening. We preach all this cause greater

that is in that is in the What problem do you have?

We are the Church of the living God.

We are not a religious organization.

We are alive. The Kingdom is alive and well

here. You, if you want the religion,

then you'll name the Holy Ghost something different.

You'll respond to Jesus religiously, you'll have that

whole dynamic. But in this house we are a

Kingdom church. Jesus Christ is King.

We He has given us his spirit and His Spirit has given us 7

accesses to his throne. We do not lack of anything.

We are the most powerful people on the planet and we are the

church that is maturing. We are the greatest moving force

over all the planet. We cannot be defeated.

We will not quit. We will not be destroyed.

We will always come out the head, never the tail.

We are always above, never beneath, because He's given us

the spirit that is greater than that's in the world.
