Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast
-
from St. Augustine, FL.
-
Now enjoy this message. So if you have your Bibles, turn
-
over to 1st John chapter 4. Last week we start we we started
John 4 chapter mention
-
to address a particular subject within the Bible that you know,
-
the more I studied, the more common knowledge there actually
-
is. I just think that people don't
-
take real time to study and as a result of that do not always
-
venture out to know what the Bible says.
-
But this is a pretty common held belief within the church world
-
from many other scholars. And so we're just kind of
-
catching up with a thought process that many know, but we
-
are able to see it in the light through the lens of the Kingdom.
-
And here's the thing, I'm going to read you some commentaries.
-
I normally do not do that because again, you know, most
-
commentaries sometimes will get slant towards their own personal
-
tradition, but it's. Amazing how accurate each
-
commentary is. And it makes me say, then why do
-
we not clearly see, but because of US understanding the Bible is
-
about a king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.
-
When I read I'm like it's obvious that that's what this is
-
and there's no other way for the commentaries to conclude it but
-
this way. The problem is, is they only
-
based upon some scripture see it as a future event, not as a
-
event that is occurring today. Or we are in it now,
-
specifically in the realm of the spirit.
-
OK. In first John chapter 4 verse
1 John 4 chapter mention
-
one again, we kick launched out our year on the reigning spirit
-
and there's some context to that here.
-
So that's why I'm going to this passage of Scripture.
-
The beginning of first John 41 says, beloved, do not believe
-
every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are
-
from God. And so, you know, it's in these
-
last days as people are going to, you know, as the Bible say,
-
some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to
-
seducing spirits. And doctrines of demons, which
-
means the demons will roll out theology through the church
-
because there will become the the church.
-
And when I say the church, I'm not talking the one Jesus is
-
building. I'm talking about the one man is
-
titled as a church. That demons will, will roll out
-
theology through the minister because the minister's motive
-
for preaching is to entertain the hearer, because the hearer
-
is demanding to be tickled in their ears.
-
So the audience has determined, geez, the audience has
-
determined the substance that's coming from the minister, not
-
the minister is communicating what God wants to tell his
-
children. So the children are making the
-
demand that I want to hear something specific and give me
-
someone who gives me what I want to hear.
-
Now, that is always motivated from this thing called selfish
-
ambition. And the Bible tells us where
-
selfish ambition exists. Every form of evil is there,
-
which means then those churches, and I use that term loosely
-
because it's not the one Jesus is building, basically are
-
entertaining other spirits that are extremely intelligent beings
-
because they've been around longer than your lifespan.
-
And they have interacted with sinful humanity and a holy God
-
and his angels and his children longer than you've been alive.
-
So they have learned to perfect the way they communicate to you
-
so that it entices the thing that you have kept in your
-
being, which is selfish ambition where you're like, see, it is
-
OK, they're finally preaching what I want to hear.
-
All right. So he tells us there are other
-
spirits. We are not to believe every
-
spirit, but we are to determine whether it is from God.
-
And how do you know a spirit is from God?
-
Because it will only communicate the word rightly divided in
-
context to the whole. Canonization of scripture.
-
All right, it will not take things out of context.
-
All right. And again, if you are a true
-
studier of the Word, when you hear something and you begin to
-
dive to determine if it's so, if you take it from Genesis 11 to
-
Revelation 2221, meaning you're giving a context of the Bible,
-
it will either get stronger and prove truth or it will begin to
-
fall apart. And when I have found something
-
that starts to fall apart, I do not try to stop and quit it from
-
falling apart. I keep pushing to determine
-
because if it doesn't doesn't have a leg to stand on, it
-
doesn't have a leg to stand on, it does not have a leg to stand
-
on. And so it's better to let it
-
fall apart instead of, well, that's what I was believing.
-
You know how many traditions are kept in the church not because
-
their truth, but because they do not want it to fall apart, so
-
they stay away from the areas that make it fall apart.
-
All right. So again, you're not going to be
-
able to preach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit if you believe
-
it's of the devil because you've loud a theology of God by a
-
demon to come into your church and communicate that it went
-
away with the original disciples.
-
So you're going to have to stay away from certain places of the
-
Scripture because it will dismantle that thought.
-
Verse four goes on to say you are from God.
-
Are you from God? Come on, are you from God?
-
So you are from God, little children, and have overcome
-
them, meaning all the spirits that are not from God, because
-
greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
-
And again, we do not need to let that scripture become church
-
dogma or or cliche. Well, you know, no greater who
-
greater is he who's in me than he who's in the world.
-
Like it's just a quick talking point that you have no firm.
-
Persuasion or belief in. I mean, it should resonate like
-
greater is he who is in me, then he who's in the world and the
-
spirits that are attached to that spirit in the world.
-
I will never listen to those spirits because I have the
-
greater one. I have the reigning one and what
-
can man do to me? What could those spirits ever do
-
to me? I rule and reign.
-
I have the greater one that any circumstance I get in and things
-
that I hear, I'm like, that's all right.
-
I have the greater one. I have access to something
-
greater. We must keep this in
-
perspective. So we saw in Revelations 1/4
-
through six in dealing with something that again, answering
-
this particular question, John to the seven churches that are
-
in Asia. Grace to you, and peace from him
-
who is and who was and who is to come, and from the Seven.
-
Spirits who are before His throne and from Jesus Christ the
-
faithful witness, the first born of the dead, the ruler of the
-
kings of the earth, to whom? To him who loves us and released
-
us from our sins by his blood. And he has made us to be a
-
Kingdom priest to his God and Father, to him be the glory and
-
the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
-
So Revelations tells us that there are these seven spirits
-
that are before Him, before His throne.
-
Is it literally seven different spirits or is it 1 spirit?
-
And these are the things that we are addressing.
-
Revelations 5-6 says it this way.
-
And I saw between the throne with the four living creatures,
-
and the holders of a lamb standing as if slain, having
-
seven horns and seven, seven eyes, which are the seven
-
spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
-
So the word, the number seven is the number of completion in the
-
Bible. And so really we could say it
-
this way, it is fullness, all right?
-
Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Father.
-
So really what the Scripture is telling us is that it's not that
-
there are seven different spirits.
-
It is one spirit that has seven attributes about.
-
Him and we're really addressing the Holy Spirit.
-
So again in our English language, and again for the
-
novice. Or casual Christian in their
-
learning. When they come across like this,
-
a lot of times they want to seem like they're intelligent.
-
They're seven spirits, you know? And then if they don't watch
-
out, if they don't study correctly, then they'll come up
-
with something kind of. Kooky to try to look like
-
they've developed some form of revelation.
-
Now most believers don't even go to the Book of Revelation
-
because they consider it too hard to understand.
-
And so, you know, we have allow a doctrine of demons.
-
I'm going to say it that way. To come into the church that has
-
infiltrated our minds and that is this.
-
Well, the Revelations, Revelation deals with the end.
-
It's going to take care of itself.
-
I don't. Need to understand it well the
-
Bible also says the minute you hold that and think that's from
-
God and that you can maintain that.
-
Position. The scripture also says my
-
people perish due to lack of knowledge.
-
So you're willfully saying that God's OK with you not to
-
understand the book, nor are you even going to investigate it
-
because it's too hard? Well, it's not too hard.
-
It is to be revealed. The problem is most of the time
-
when Saints start to study the Word, they don't actually go to
-
the scripture. They first go to the commentary.
-
OK. Which means then I don't know
-
anything, let me go to someone. OK, well honestly that's a
-
problem. Because if the first commentary
-
you go to isn't actually accurate that they they
-
themselves do not take the whole scripture in the right context,
-
then you can start developing a mindset that is inaccurate.
-
Let me say this, just because there is a difference of
-
writings concerning any subject doesn't make it confusing, it
-
just means someone's wrong. And it's amazing how we will
-
abandoned seeking ourselves and relieve ourselves of the
-
responsibility to seek just because enough people have
-
written on a subject that seemed to contradict them.
-
So we assume then it must be confusing.
-
No, someone may only have written that piece because their
-
lens set is wrong, which produce wrong conclusions.
-
That if you studied it yourself, you would be able to go back in
-
easily and say This is why this person's wrong.
-
But you understand, we don't want to say people are wrong,
-
people are wrong. It's OK.
-
That's not a negative. I'm thankful that God told me I
-
was. Wrong.
-
That the way that seemed right to me to be with to him was
-
death. That son, that's wrong.
-
I'm glad that he let me know son.
-
The only right is that I'm the way the truth and the life.
-
No man comes to the father but by me and Paul took this
-
position. He said now listen, I'm telling
-
you some things and if you don't agree with me, that's fine.
-
God will reveal to you that I'm right now.
-
He wasn't acting like I'm right and look at me and being
-
egotistical. What he was saying is the
-
revelation that I have is correct because the Spirit of
-
truth has revealed it. I know it according to scripture
-
back and forth. I know it is the reveal will of
-
God and if you have a different opinion, God is going to change
-
your mind. Amen.
-
So it's OK as a believer to take the position that when you're
-
right, you're right. And here's the thing, if you
-
have taken a position I'm right only to find out that maybe
-
you're wrong, then changing get to the right, it's OK.
-
I would much rather always seem firmly persuaded about something
-
then all then be lukewarm and vacillate as if I don't even
-
know. Which then shows all fake
-
humility. Well, you know, I just, his ways
-
are higher than our ways. His thoughts are high.
-
I just don't know, You know, I just really don't know.
-
I really don't know. The Bible says you can have the
-
mind of Christ. So again, you're really
-
willfully confessing. I refuse to be a seeker of his
-
Kingdom to know. And I'm just going to stay in
-
the dark, but I'm going to seem humble about it because God's
-
all knowing. Hallelujah.
-
So 7 is the word of completion. So in essence, what he is saying
-
here is he has the spirit that is perfect.
-
This is the. Perfect Spirit.
-
The Holy Spirit is perfect. The Holy Spirit never gets
-
anything wrong. Look to your neighbor and say
-
the Holy Spirit is never wrong. You know what?
-
That means that means when he starts talking to you about you.
-
Don't debate with him about it. I remember one time I was
-
spending a little, spending some time in prayer and I, the Holy
-
Ghost spoke to me as clear as day.
-
Now, it wasn't audible, boys, but it was clear in my spirit,
-
you know, and I had taken some time to, to pray, you know, this
-
was when I was young, way younger ministry.
-
It was before I even moved here really young in ministry, you
-
know? And you know, I was not
-
purposeful about praying in the Spirit nor about prayer in
-
general, OK. I basically had the same
-
existence that 90 something percent of Christians have.
-
And how do you know? Just ask them to pray somewhere.
-
You go to public place. So why don't you pray?
-
It's amazing how quick they're like you go to place who wants
-
to pray? How is this?
-
Why are we not all? I'll do it because it's natural
-
for me to pray, right? A lot of times don't even ask
-
become like they ain't ready. I'll just pray.
-
You know, people who pray just start praying, right?
-
And people who don't pray when they're asked to pray are, you
-
know, like in school, you put your head down.
-
You don't want to teach her to see you and ask you to answer
-
that question. OK, but I'll never forget.
-
The Lord said if you spend as much time with your wife as you
-
do with me, you wouldn't be married very long.
-
Yeah, I'll never forget that. I'll never forget that.
-
What I didn't do is you're wrong, because he's never wrong.
-
He's perfect. He's perfect in everything he
-
says to us. The question is, will we just
-
yield and do it? Hallelujah.
-
Amen. Has he ever told you you were
-
lazy? He's told me before.
-
You're being lazy about that. I'm It's tempting to want to
-
read your resume, but what's he saying?
-
You have the capacity to do more and to make the excuse why you
-
can't is really not because you're busy or you're so full,
-
It's because you're actually being lazy.
-
He calls it like it is. Say Amen.
-
Anyway, all right, so let's identify the seven spirits that
-
obviously John wrote about when he saw this and it comes from a
-
prophecy. Do you understand?
-
Jesus Christ fulfilled a boatload of prophecies.
-
I don't have that number off the top of my head.
-
I think it was 300 and something that's very specific that he
-
fulfilled the chance for one person to fulfill a prophecy or
-
eight. I think statistically is like so
-
much So thank you, Holy Ghost for reminding me.
-
If, if for one person to fulfill eight of the prophecies written
-
about the Messiah is like taking a stack of of, of of dollars,
-
you know, the coin, the silver dollar, stacking them up one by
-
one, touching each other. It would be two feet high and
-
cover the whole state of Texas. Then you take one of those
-
silver dollars, paint it red, hide it, and you go and pull it
-
the first time. That is the statistic
-
probability of one person fulfilling only eight of the
-
prophecies written about the Messiah.
-
Jesus fulfilled over 300. Prophecies.
-
When he was on the planet and there are other prophecies still
-
to fulfill concerning his coming.
-
Are you hearing me? So Isaiah had prophecies
-
concerning Jesus, of which he has fulfilled some of Isaiah's
-
prophecies. However, John is seeing some
-
things that are beyond his lifetime and beyond the age he's
-
in. Isaiah prophesied and said this
-
verse one. He said then a shoot will spring
-
forth from the stem of Jesse and a branch from his roots will
-
bear fruit. Well has that happened?
-
Prophecy fulfilled to. The Spirit of the Lord will rest
-
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
-
counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the
-
Lord. So those are the seven spirits.
-
Of the Lord, they're the seven spirits that are before His
-
throne. We have the spirit of the Lord.
-
We have the spirit of knowledge, the spirit or wisdom, excuse me,
-
the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of
-
understanding, the spirit of counsel, the spirit of strength,
-
the spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
-
Verse two has been fulfilled and we'll see that here in a minute.
-
Verse 3. But it goes on and we didn't
-
read this last week. And he will delight in the fear
-
of the Lord, and he will not judge by what he see, what his
-
eyes see, nor make a decision by what his ears hear.
-
But the righteous he will judge, but with righteousness he will
-
judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of
-
the earth. He will strike the earth with
-
the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he will
-
slay the wicked also. Righteousness will be the belt
-
about his loins, and faithfulness the belt around his
-
waist. Glory to.
-
God, what a picture of the King of Kings.
-
Of the one to come of this shoot that's going to spring forth
-
from the stem of Jesse and become a branch and bear fruit
-
aren't you glad he's bearing fruit today aren't you glad that
-
you're the fruit of him? Amen.
-
And so him, John, knowing this and understanding the writings
-
of Isaiah, when he saw this, he recognized these are the seven
-
spirits of. That are before the throne of
-
God, the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of
-
understanding, the spirit of counsel, the Spirit of strength,
-
the Spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of the.
-
Fear of the Lord. How do we know that this has
-
been fulfilled? Isaiah 61 One again he
-
prophesied concerning this. What does it say?
-
You know what the Spirit of the Lord is?
-
What upon me? Because the Lord has anointed me
-
to bring good news to the afflicted, He has sent me to
-
bond up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives
-
and freedom to the prisoners. This is fulfilled in Luke 418
-
where Jesus opened up the scrolls of Isaiah open to this
-
place, read these particular words and then shut the book and
-
said, This is fulfilled before your eyes.
-
Hallelujah. So Jesus testifies that he has
-
of the seven spirits of God, which is the Holy Spirit.
-
I have the Spirit of the Lord upon me.
-
I said I have the Spirit of the Lord today.
-
I'm only going to address one of the seven spirits that are
-
outlined of the Holy Ghost today because it's really important
-
that I deal with one. Then we'll pair them up or maybe
-
group them in threes. I don't know.
-
We'll see as we move forward because they are very applicable
-
to us today. Say this applies to me.
-
Say this applies to me. Say this applies to me.
-
All right, because God has given you a greater spirit, He's
-
giving you a greater spirit. So then turning over to Acts
-
chapter 10, verse 23, again it was echoed or spoken concerning
-
Jesus. It says this, you know, of Jesus
-
of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and
-
with power man. And we're going to get some
-
revelation of this statement more so because the church has
-
done a really poor job because they do not know the Bible's
-
about a king, his Kingdom and his roll offspring.
-
They have hugged trees of his Kingdom instead of ministering
-
in the lens of his Kingdom and they have specialize certain
-
words and began to sensationalize certain aspects
-
of God and missing the whole thing, you know of Jesus of
-
Nazareth, How who God, how who? Who's God the Father?
-
How the Father anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit, that is
-
the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
-
How the Father anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power
-
and how he went about doing good and healing all.
-
How many? Come on, how many?
-
How many? How many came down and got laid
-
hands on today? So how many should expect to
-
receive healing? All who are oppressed by the
-
devil, for God the Father was with him.
-
Jesus testifies that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
-
Here Acts the writer reminds us that he was anointed by the Holy
-
Ghost. It came upon him.
-
Look what it says in John chapter one verse 32 and 33.
-
This is the easy reading version.
-
It says then John said, I also do not know who the Messiah was,
-
meaning I didn't know who he was, but the one who sent me,
-
which is the Father by the Spirit to baptize with water
-
told me. So he heard this by the Spirit.
-
Because John is the greatest prophet, say the greatest
-
prophet, he was the greatest prophet.
-
And the anointing or the Holy Spirit would come upon the
-
prophet, the priest and the king.
-
So the Holy Spirit, when it came upon him, a tangible presence
-
and glory of God would come upon John.
-
And when that power or that anointing came on upon him, upon
-
him, it would leave. It would come, it would leave,
-
it would come, and when it come, it came.
-
It spoke to his Spirit and said to him, Now this he said, you
-
will see the Spirit come down. And what rest on a man?
-
It's going to rest. It's not going to come down and
-
come up and come down and come up.
-
It's going to come and it's going to stay.
-
I said it's going to stay. He said he is the one who will
-
baptize with the Holy Spirit. I have seen this happen, John
-
said. I saw the Spirit come down from
-
heaven like a dove and rest on this man and he was talking
-
about Jesus Christ. Come on, say Hallelujah,
-
Hallelujah. So the Spirit rested upon Jesus.
-
The Bible also declares in John 334 says this.
-
For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, For he gives
-
the Spirit how? Without measure.
-
Which tells us when the Holy Spirit came upon or rested on
-
Jesus, the day John baptized him in the Jordan, and he came up
-
out of the water and the heavens opened up, the Spirit of God
-
came upon him and rested on him like a dove.
-
Then God the Father from heaven says, this is my Son, and whom
-
I'm well pleased. Again the Trinity, the Father.
-
The Son and the Holy. Spirit.
-
He anointed him, I said. He anointed him.
-
He fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy of his anointing, and that
-
anointing contained without measure, which means the perfect
-
completion of the Spirit and all that the Spirit of God has,
-
which are the seven spirits that are contained within the Holy
-
Ghost. Meaning the Spirit of the Lord,
-
the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of
-
counsel, the Spirit of strength, the Spirit of knowledge, and the
-
spirit of the fear of the Lord. Jesus was walking in the
-
perfection of this Holy Spirit upon him.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. So Jesus acknowledges that this
-
Spirit of the Lord is upon him. Now this is really powerful
-
because you know this Scripture going to go back to Isaiah,
-
Isaiah had a lot to say about Jesus and him coming, and a lot
-
that he had to say about Jesus was always in the context of the
-
Messiah. Isaiah's teaching of him was
-
always the kingship. I said the kingship, although he
-
understood the king would be stricken smitten, he talked
-
about his form, that it would not be in such a stately that on
-
the outside we thought he was like the best looking thing
-
ever. He did not come like King
-
Absalom. King Absalom was a good looking
-
man, a good looking man. He did not come like this
-
gorgeous guy. In fact, if Jesus Walt, you
-
wouldn't even wreck. He is so common to look at.
-
He had no stately form about you're not going to go wow,
-
ladies, you would not go wow, that's a good looking man and
-
he's not he. He is not so good looking that
-
even a guy would go, now that's a good looking guy.
-
Most of you would just go by and if somebody said, what do you
-
think about Jesus? She'd be like, he's not my type.
-
Hallelujah. You know, now you may say, well,
-
why did the Lord make him not look so attractive?
-
Well, because of his actions, we're going to be so attractive
-
that then you add the natural appearance man, he was already
-
going to have problems when he walked and he did.
-
He's like, I know the hearts of man and they wanted to put him
-
on the throne that day and he had to he.
-
I'm not preaching this message. But I am seeing this message and
-
man, it sure will disrupt the church.
-
Jesus tried to not be famous. He worked extremely hard to not
-
be known and the more popular he he he became the more he began
-
to separate himself, not post more on social media.
-
Fact when he performed he didn't say man you need to post this he
-
would say. Don't tell anybody.
-
And all these people are trying to follow Jesus.
-
All right, That's another message.
-
Hallelujah. Now, I'm not saying there's
-
anything wrong with social media.
-
Social media is great. It has its IT has its platform,
-
but it's not for self promotion. OK, it's not for self promotion.
-
If you don't get a sense that man, we're glorifying God with
-
that, then shut it down. And you know it when you're when
-
you have when you start operating with the Holy Spirit
-
through his through the seven spirits that are that are
-
attached to who he has as one, then you'll begin to discern
-
seem like this person is always posting to try to give them
-
glory for what's going on and not God.
-
Don't take you long to figure that out.
-
All right, Isaiah Chapter 9, verse six.
Isaiah 9 chapter mention
-
You know this one, it says for a child will be born to us, a son
-
will be given to us and the government.
-
Oh, are you man, you're not ready for this.
-
Can you see it? Do you see it?
-
Do you already see it? Do you see it?
-
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given, and the
-
government will will what? What's it going to do?
-
The Holy Spirit will. Come on.
-
The government will rest on His shoulders, and His name will be
-
called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father
-
Principe. There will be no end to the
-
increase of his government or of peace on the throne of David or
-
over His Kingdom to establish it, to uphold it with justice
-
and righteousness. From then on forevermore.
-
The zeal of the Lord will accomplish.
-
This is Isaiah 9. We jump over into Isaiah 11 and
-
we talk about this branch that comes out of the stem of Jesse
-
and that he will embody the the spirit of the Lord will come
-
upon him and the other six that follow after that.
-
And then it goes on and starts to declare verses 3-4 and five
-
of how he will rule as king. Amen.
-
Matthew Henry, commentator, says this in particular.
-
The spirit of government, by which he should be every way
-
fitted for the judgment which the Father has committed to him,
-
and given him authority to execute.
-
When we say the spirit of the Lord, we can equally say the
-
spirit of the government. That's shocking to most people
-
because again, we've been indoctrinated in our nation from
-
a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a clergyman of a wall
-
of separation that would exist when they were writing the
-
Constitution that in essence, the government will never
-
mandate to the church who and how you are to believe.
-
We will never do that is what he was saying.
-
He never was saying So what you believe can never come into
-
government because if that were true then most of the writings
-
that they have you would have to tear down, which is why most
-
people are trying to tear it down and remove the name God
-
from everything that we have because Thomas never, in fact,
-
Thomas knew every person's belief will show up in
-
government. If you do not believe in a God,
-
then your government or its legislation will embody that
-
belief. This is why Thomas Jefferson
-
stripped in his Bible all of the miracles Jesus performed and
-
only included his social activity.
-
And he was concluding that if you just follow the social work
-
of Jesus, it is the perfect governing society where everyone
-
would have the right to pursue freedom, happy the pursuit of
-
happiness. We would be not at odds with one
-
another. He was concluding that the just
-
the general moral principles of governing that Jesus held can
-
create the perfect society. Why?
-
Because he's the King. The problem is man cannot do it,
-
especially our current government, because it removes
-
the necessary raw material, the necessary raw material that's
-
necessary in order for the Kingdom to manifest, and that is
-
the Holy Spirit and this element of Him, one of His attributes,
-
the Spirit of the Lord or the Spirit of government.
-
Only the Holy Spirit can rightly govern because the Holy Spirit
-
only does what the Son says, and the Son is the king, and where
-
the word of the King is, there's power.
-
But the Son doesn't do what he does.
-
He always does what the Father said, because the Father and the
-
Son are functioning like the original Adam was, to function
-
when God created the heavens and the earth.
-
I am the God of heaven, Adam, you are the God of this earth.
-
If you obey me, then you will live in a perfect society.
-
My Spirit is in you. I'll come down in the cool of
-
the day. There's no sin in your
-
environment as there's no sin in my environment.
-
So. Just show me you love me by
-
obeying me at my word, but if you don't, you'll die.
-
Be separated and that's what took place.
-
But when? Jesus came who's called the last
-
Adam. He has the record of the first
-
Adam and he says this is how the first Adam fell, failed.
-
He didn't obey God, which we'll get to it probably in a week or
-
so, that the foundation of the other five spirits so sandwiched
-
between the spirit of the Lord and the last one mentioned,
-
which is the spirit of the fear of the Lord.
-
The rest are contained because we'll see that the Bible says
-
where the fear of the Lord exists.
-
Then wisdom oh y'all don't want to hear Jesus functions so tight
-
in the fear of the Lord. That's right that it gave him
-
access to everything else. The Holy Spirit had everything
-
else. So he recognized upon my
-
shoulders is the Kingdom, the spirit of the Lord, the Lord.
-
Lord is not a religious word anyway.
-
Lord means supreme in authority. Just by that definition alone.
-
You should understand that when God said in the beginning, when
-
he said, when the Holy Spirit came upon it said this is my
-
beloved son, in whom how God anointed him.
-
We know this through our teachings is that anointing is
-
what you do to a king. So in essence, he said, I have
-
given him the spirit of my government, of what is supreme
-
in authority for all mankind. He operates under that
-
principle. Yes, Hallelujah.
-
So every time Jesus says the Spirit of the Lord, he's saying
-
the spirit of the government, of the Kingdom, of the King's
-
dominion, of the King's reign, of the word of the King.
-
That's what is upon, That's what rests on me.
-
Hallelujah. Are you hearing me?
-
Isaiah 42? One says this.
-
Behold my Servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one, and whom
-
my soul delights. I shall put my spirit upon him.
-
He will bring forth what justice to the nation's.
-
One translation says Gentiles, but it might as well say nations
-
because in God's context you have Israel and the Gentiles,
-
you have his chosen covenant nation and then the rest of the
-
nations of the world. And yet Jesus was bringing
-
justice to the nation. In essence, to the shock of
-
Peter and others, is that God was opening up his kingship and
-
his government to go beyond the natural boundaries of.
-
Israel. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah, I said. Hallelujah.
-
John 522 says this, for not even the Father judges anyone, but He
-
has given all judgment to the Son.
-
Why? Because he has the spirit of the
-
Lord. Jump down a few verses to John
-
527 it says this. And he gave him authority to
-
execute what judgment? Because he is the Son of Man.
-
In essence, he says the government of my Kingdom in the
-
earth should have always rested upon man.
-
Let us make man in our image according to our likeness.
-
And let them rule have dominion. Over the fish of the sea, birds
-
of the sky, over all the cattle, over all the earth, over every
-
creepy thing that creeps on the earth.
-
In essence, let the spirit of the Lord or the government rest
-
upon man. So the Son of Man had the spirit
-
of the Lord or the spirit of His government rest on his
-
shoulders, of which he can execute judgement, and He is the
-
only righteous, true king. Come on, can I get an Amen?
-
Look what Isaiah 32 one through 5 says.
-
Man, there's so much about our king in Isaiah.
-
Isaiah, behold, a king will reign righteously, and Princess
-
will rule justly. Are we going to get to these
-
people here in a second? Come on, you know who those
-
Princess are? Do you know who those Princess
-
are? You are?
-
So a king will reign righteously.
-
Why? Because he has the Spirit of the
-
Lord. Each will be like a refuge from
-
the wind and a shelter from the storm.
-
Like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a
-
huge rock in a parched land. Oh, my gosh, my King.
-
Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the
-
ears of those who hear will listen.
-
The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, and the
-
tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.
-
No longer will the fool be called noble, or the road be
-
spoken of as generous. Oh, man, we'll break that down
-
at another time. But you understand the King will
-
reign righteously. The aspect of the Holy Ghost
-
when he came upon Jesus was to bring him the government of God
-
through man again in the earth. The Expositor Bible writes this
-
to Christians. We have been accustomed by the
-
use of the word comforter to associate the Spirit only with
-
the gentle and consoling influences of heaven.
-
It may seem strange to find his energy identified with the stern
-
rigor of the magistrate. In essence, this guy, this
-
writer is saying we're so, so used to this soft spoken Jesus
-
and that the Spirit of God is soft spoken.
-
You know he. Speaks to our inner man, and he
-
does, I get that, but we only associate him this way.
-
However, the Holy Spirit has this aspect about him and that
-
is the administrator of Kingdom policy, a magistrate, One who?
-
Enacts the policies of the king of the Kingdom.
-
And he does it with great force. This is why the king has a sword
-
in his mouth. I said he has a sword in his
-
mouth. Again, is Jesus the Prince of
-
Peace? Yes.
-
But did he bring peace on the earth?
-
Only To those who have called on the name of the Lord, they can
-
function in peace. But to the rest, he's brought
-
the same sword. And this sword brings division,
-
it brings conflict. In fact, Jesus said, do you
-
think that I've come to bring peace?
-
I have not come to bring. Peace I have come to divide.
-
In essence, he said. I have come to make it crystal
-
clear. The fool let.
-
Me. Go back and see how they said
-
that. The fool that you keep calling
-
noble and the rogue you keep calling is generous.
-
I know their behavior. I see them for who they are
-
because I bring the standard of the Kingdom.
-
Hallelujah. Come on, say Amen.
-
And you want him to be here. I mean, Jesus is not a pushover.
-
Jesus is not being duped. It's amazing how many people
-
think they're putting one over Jesus.
-
It's not happening. It's amazing of how many of
-
your, you know how your own children are.
-
How many parents do I have in here?
-
Have you? You know, when your kids think
-
they got something on you, they put something over on you and
-
you're like, I know what's happening, right?
-
Right. They put one over you.
-
I mean, you know, the the first time that you go to correct your
-
child and they're like, let's pray.
-
I need to ask you, you're like, oh, that's so sweet.
-
Wow, that's so sweet. They're doing it.
-
You know, they revert over to what they know to do because
-
they've been taught. And then it you're like so
-
enthralled that they would go to God, you're like, wow in the
-
world. Could I even spank the child
-
now? Or, you know, go any further
-
correction, let's just deal with this.
-
But then they realized that Ave. keeps me from this.
-
Come on. And then you're like, you know,
-
I've told you before when I decided one time I just wanted
-
to talk back to my mom. I use this technique, You know,
-
I would say things to her and then I would throw this two
-
letter, you know, this phrase to her.
-
Just kidding. I'm just kidding.
-
And I don't mean it. I'm kidding.
-
No disrespect to you. This is just a joke.
-
And if it's just a joke, we can laugh about it, right?
-
Well, I probably did it three or four times.
-
Then my mom called me on it. She says no, you're not kidding.
-
You actually mean it, but you're following up with a.
-
Just kidding. If you do it again, you're going
-
to get this, this, this, this, this.
-
I mean, it was not this. It was.
-
It's going to at least hit the five, right?
-
One to include a weapon and if anywhere on the five it include
-
dad got to be a part of the spanking process.
-
That's the problem. That is a problem that was
-
problematic. OK.
-
That was real deal because I could handle my mom's weapons at
-
some point. My dad's Nah I just as soon it
-
never occurs. Not because he beat me.
-
He was just stronger. There's something about a father
-
correcting. So husbands, don't let your
-
wives do it all. Be a man.
-
Show yourself a man and. Correct, your children, all
-
right. Praise the Lord, and when
-
necessary, the avenue that brings training.
-
It's called the glutus maximus, right?
-
Hallelujah. Isaiah chapter 2, verses 2
-
through 4 says this. Now it will come about that in
-
the last days. Oh, I love this.
-
This just gets me jacked. It will come about in the last
-
days, the mountain of the house. And now we're talking mountain.
-
We're talking government. We're not talking about a real
-
physical mountain. We're talking about a
-
government. So in essence, the government of
-
the Lord or the Lord and his government, the Kingdom will be
-
established as the what Chief of the mountains?
-
I will be raised above the. Hills and all the nations will
-
stream to it, and many people will come and say, come, let us
-
go before the mountain of the Lord, let us go to the Kingdom,
-
let us go to. The King of Kings.
-
To the House of the God of Jacob, which is Israel.
-
That's why Israel and I don't care what conflicts happening
-
today, people, Israel will not be overtaken.
-
They're going to have conflict. They're going to be bombarded.
-
In fact, there's going to come a time that they're going to
-
invade half of it. But before they take over the
-
city Jerusalem, Jesus will show back up physically in the
-
planet. The king will not let Israel be
-
taken. It will never happen ever again.
-
Ever. OK, that he they says, let us
-
come to the mountain of the Lord, to come to the House of
-
the God of Jacob, that he may what teach us concerning his
-
ways, that we may walk in his past.
-
For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord
-
from Jerusalem, and he will judge between the nations, and
-
will render decisions for many people.
-
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their
-
Spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword
-
against nation, and never again will they learn war.
-
Wow, can somebody say Amen? Only Jesus can establish peace.
-
On Earth. So your ideal, as much as you
-
want it, man, we just want to have peace on earth.
-
So you're a follower of Jesus. That what you're telling me
-
you're doing the Kingdom cause? Because if you're not doing the
-
Kingdom cause, all of your peace efforts are futile.
-
But man, they raise a lot of money from the world and they
-
deceive a lot of people. All right.
-
So notice that they want to run to the Kingdom and learn of its
-
ways. You know what's amazing is that
-
you can run and learn of its ways.
-
Now when you come to Zion, Zion is not only Jerusalem, but it's
-
also a type and shadow of His church.
-
And in this current dispensation, as a king use of
-
the king, you should want to run to the House of the Lord,
-
because again, the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.
-
A child will be born, a son will be given, and the government
-
shall rest on his shoulders. The shoulders are contained in
-
the body. Jesus is the head of the church.
-
So we are the ambassadors who are assembling together to hear
-
from the home country through the gifts He has given the
-
Church to train us in the ways of His Kingdom so that we can be
-
the highest of all mountains right now.
-
The what? Oh y'all, the one you
-
understand. Delegates are going to hit
-
Chicago this week so that they can get in rooms and talk about
-
how their policies, their view, their vision for this nation,
-
how they can take it over and cause the mountain called the
-
United States of America to be in their image.
-
What they, the Republican Party has already done theirs.
-
Now the Democrat are doing theirs and they're saying we
-
will. This is the image of our
-
mountain. We want it to look like this.
-
But right now we are assembling together and we can say we
-
actually are on the highest mountain.
-
We actually have the mountain that will rise above the
-
Republican mountain, above the Democratic mountain, above any
-
other mountain that could ever above China's mountain, above
-
Russia's mountain, above Europe's mountain mountain.
-
You are on the highest mountain. And the only reason why that
-
mountain is not showing itself more is because people are
-
complacent with going to heaven when they die.
-
They're. Going to say the Spirit of the
-
Lord is upon them and know nothing about his Kingdom.
-
Well, if the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, then as a good
-
ambassador you would run to Zion and learn of His ways.
-
And those who are you know as well as I do you ready for this.
-
Alexander McLaren said these words.
-
The prophet saw not all the wonders of perfect human
-
character which that indwelling spirit would bring to the
-
realization in him, but what he saw was indispensable to the
-
perfect King, and was at all events an arc of the mighty
-
circle of perfection which has now been revealed in the life of
-
Jesus. The possibilities of humanity
-
under the influence of the Divine Spirit are revealed here
-
no less than the actuality of the Messiah's character.
-
What Jesus is, he gives to his subjects.
-
To become by the indwelling in them of the spirit of life,
-
which was in Him in essence. God has empowered us with the
-
same Spirit. The same spirit.
-
And what has the church done? The church has only They only
-
want to see the Holy Spirit if they even welcome me.
-
They only want to see him as. The gentle talker, the
-
comforter. Because we're in so much trouble
-
down here, you know, we're really just center saved by
-
grace. It's tough, it's hard, but you
-
know, I know that I'm going to go to heaven when I die.
-
And he comforts me because, you know, we're going to get out one
-
day. He comforts me.
-
Or they recognize that there's a language and they come not
-
really for the power, but more for the language.
-
But then when they get the language they want the.
-
Gifts that are associated with it.
-
So the Holy Spirit now is really about the gifts and they just
-
don't want tongues and interpretation.
-
They really want the gifts of the power.
-
When we say power, we're talking about the miraculous things that
-
take place, the gifts of faith, the gift of faith, the gifts of
-
healing and the working of miracles.
-
Those gifts that will raise the dead, that will cause blind eyes
-
to see, that will call lame to walk.
-
I mean, we're like, we want this or we want that word of
-
knowledge so that we are really no more in motive different than
-
those who listen to other spirits and we call them
-
fortune. Tellers because that's but when
-
we read that the spirit of the Lord look how God anointed Jesus
-
of Nazareth who went around doing good right how God
-
anointed him with the Holy Spirit and power.
-
The word power there dunamis it still, it has the context
-
because we understand that the spirit of the Lord is the spirit
-
of his government. In essence, when he was
-
anointed, it was a King's anointing and he was anointed
-
with the Holy Spirit and power or authority.
-
Because the minute you get up underneath the King's anointing,
-
then the other aspects are part of that comes with the authority
-
of the government of God. And what he's saying is he's
-
saying. Christ the King, who had
-
perfection of the Spirit without measure, will give to us in
-
measure, meaning we can now aspect of which those seven
-
spirits of the Holy Spirit can begin to function in and through
-
us, because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead
-
lives in US and comes upon us. It rests on us.
-
It does not withdraw itself. We have that particular power,
-
and if we'll follow its leading, then we have access, because
-
what we actually have is the authority of the believer first,
-
or the mandate of kingship. We've been given back rulership
-
in the earth to represent the king who sits on the throne of
-
which we've been assigned in his same sea, because we've been
-
raised up and seated together with him in Christ.
-
Which means then, according to first Timothy 6:15, which he
-
will bring about his proper time, right?
-
He who is blessed and only sovereign, the King of and the
-
Lord of. So when the Spirit of the Lord
-
came upon you, it was to give you the power and the authority
-
of a king. You are God's government in the
-
earth. In essence, you are the final
-
say on the matter. You are.
-
And when Jesus was in the earth, He was the final say on the
-
matter. I said He was the final say on
-
the matter because we'll see in Scripture because He had access
-
to wisdom and understanding when people came towards him and says
-
this woman was caught in adultery.
-
The spirit of understanding, when he was in a room and all of
-
a sudden there were people in the corner and a guy comes
-
through the roof. That's lame.
-
Because of the spirit of understanding, he could say, why
-
do you say to yourself, because I have the spirit.
-
I have the final say on this thing.
-
I have the final say on the because I the spirit of the
-
government is upon me. The final say in the earth is
-
mine. I said the spirit of the Lord is
-
upon me. The spirit of government is a
-
The final say is mine. The final say is mine.
-
The final say is yours. Cancer doesn't have the final
-
say. Your bank account doesn't have
-
the final say. Your current, current trial
-
doesn't have the final say, but because you have the greater
-
Spirit, you have the Holy Spirit.
-
You hold him, house him, He's rests on you.
-
You have access to the final say.
-
Of the Kingdom of God in the earth.
-
Let's pray. Father, we love you and we honor
-
you. We thank you.
-
You're the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
