  1. Thanks for checking out the Anchor Faith Message podcast

  2. from St. Augustine, FL.

  3. Now enjoy this message. So if you have your Bibles, turn

  4. over to 1st John chapter 4. Last week we start we we started

    John 4 chapter mention

  5. to address a particular subject within the Bible that you know,

  6. the more I studied, the more common knowledge there actually

  7. is. I just think that people don't

  8. take real time to study and as a result of that do not always

  9. venture out to know what the Bible says.

  10. But this is a pretty common held belief within the church world

  11. from many other scholars. And so we're just kind of

  12. catching up with a thought process that many know, but we

  13. are able to see it in the light through the lens of the Kingdom.

  14. And here's the thing, I'm going to read you some commentaries.

  15. I normally do not do that because again, you know, most

  16. commentaries sometimes will get slant towards their own personal

  17. tradition, but it's. Amazing how accurate each

  18. commentary is. And it makes me say, then why do

  19. we not clearly see, but because of US understanding the Bible is

  20. about a king, his Kingdom and his royal offspring.

  21. When I read I'm like it's obvious that that's what this is

  22. and there's no other way for the commentaries to conclude it but

  23. this way. The problem is, is they only

  24. based upon some scripture see it as a future event, not as a

  25. event that is occurring today. Or we are in it now,

  26. specifically in the realm of the spirit.

  27. OK. In first John chapter 4 verse

    1 John 4 chapter mention

  28. one again, we kick launched out our year on the reigning spirit

  29. and there's some context to that here.

  30. So that's why I'm going to this passage of Scripture.

  31. The beginning of first John 41 says, beloved, do not believe

  32. every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are

  33. from God. And so, you know, it's in these

  34. last days as people are going to, you know, as the Bible say,

  35. some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to

  36. seducing spirits. And doctrines of demons, which

  37. means the demons will roll out theology through the church

  38. because there will become the the church.

  39. And when I say the church, I'm not talking the one Jesus is

  40. building. I'm talking about the one man is

  41. titled as a church. That demons will, will roll out

  42. theology through the minister because the minister's motive

  43. for preaching is to entertain the hearer, because the hearer

  44. is demanding to be tickled in their ears.

  45. So the audience has determined, geez, the audience has

  46. determined the substance that's coming from the minister, not

  47. the minister is communicating what God wants to tell his

  48. children. So the children are making the

  49. demand that I want to hear something specific and give me

  50. someone who gives me what I want to hear.

  51. Now, that is always motivated from this thing called selfish

  52. ambition. And the Bible tells us where

  53. selfish ambition exists. Every form of evil is there,

  54. which means then those churches, and I use that term loosely

  55. because it's not the one Jesus is building, basically are

  56. entertaining other spirits that are extremely intelligent beings

  57. because they've been around longer than your lifespan.

  58. And they have interacted with sinful humanity and a holy God

  59. and his angels and his children longer than you've been alive.

  60. So they have learned to perfect the way they communicate to you

  61. so that it entices the thing that you have kept in your

  62. being, which is selfish ambition where you're like, see, it is

  63. OK, they're finally preaching what I want to hear.

  64. All right. So he tells us there are other

  65. spirits. We are not to believe every

  66. spirit, but we are to determine whether it is from God.

  67. And how do you know a spirit is from God?

  68. Because it will only communicate the word rightly divided in

  69. context to the whole. Canonization of scripture.

  70. All right, it will not take things out of context.

  71. All right. And again, if you are a true

  72. studier of the Word, when you hear something and you begin to

  73. dive to determine if it's so, if you take it from Genesis 11 to

  74. Revelation 2221, meaning you're giving a context of the Bible,

  75. it will either get stronger and prove truth or it will begin to

  76. fall apart. And when I have found something

  77. that starts to fall apart, I do not try to stop and quit it from

  78. falling apart. I keep pushing to determine

  79. because if it doesn't doesn't have a leg to stand on, it

  80. doesn't have a leg to stand on, it does not have a leg to stand

  81. on. And so it's better to let it

  82. fall apart instead of, well, that's what I was believing.

  83. You know how many traditions are kept in the church not because

  84. their truth, but because they do not want it to fall apart, so

  85. they stay away from the areas that make it fall apart.

  86. All right. So again, you're not going to be

  87. able to preach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit if you believe

  88. it's of the devil because you've loud a theology of God by a

  89. demon to come into your church and communicate that it went

  90. away with the original disciples.

  91. So you're going to have to stay away from certain places of the

  92. Scripture because it will dismantle that thought.

  93. Verse four goes on to say you are from God.

  94. Are you from God? Come on, are you from God?

  95. So you are from God, little children, and have overcome

  96. them, meaning all the spirits that are not from God, because

  97. greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.

  98. And again, we do not need to let that scripture become church

  99. dogma or or cliche. Well, you know, no greater who

  100. greater is he who's in me than he who's in the world.

  101. Like it's just a quick talking point that you have no firm.

  102. Persuasion or belief in. I mean, it should resonate like

  103. greater is he who is in me, then he who's in the world and the

  104. spirits that are attached to that spirit in the world.

  105. I will never listen to those spirits because I have the

  106. greater one. I have the reigning one and what

  107. can man do to me? What could those spirits ever do

  108. to me? I rule and reign.

  109. I have the greater one that any circumstance I get in and things

  110. that I hear, I'm like, that's all right.

  111. I have the greater one. I have access to something

  112. greater. We must keep this in

  113. perspective. So we saw in Revelations 1/4

  114. through six in dealing with something that again, answering

  115. this particular question, John to the seven churches that are

  116. in Asia. Grace to you, and peace from him

  117. who is and who was and who is to come, and from the Seven.

  118. Spirits who are before His throne and from Jesus Christ the

  119. faithful witness, the first born of the dead, the ruler of the

  120. kings of the earth, to whom? To him who loves us and released

  121. us from our sins by his blood. And he has made us to be a

  122. Kingdom priest to his God and Father, to him be the glory and

  123. the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  124. So Revelations tells us that there are these seven spirits

  125. that are before Him, before His throne.

  126. Is it literally seven different spirits or is it 1 spirit?

  127. And these are the things that we are addressing.

  128. Revelations 5-6 says it this way.

  129. And I saw between the throne with the four living creatures,

  130. and the holders of a lamb standing as if slain, having

  131. seven horns and seven, seven eyes, which are the seven

  132. spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

  133. So the word, the number seven is the number of completion in the

  134. Bible. And so really we could say it

  135. this way, it is fullness, all right?

  136. Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Father.

  137. So really what the Scripture is telling us is that it's not that

  138. there are seven different spirits.

  139. It is one spirit that has seven attributes about.

  140. Him and we're really addressing the Holy Spirit.

  141. So again in our English language, and again for the

  142. novice. Or casual Christian in their

  143. learning. When they come across like this,

  144. a lot of times they want to seem like they're intelligent.

  145. They're seven spirits, you know? And then if they don't watch

  146. out, if they don't study correctly, then they'll come up

  147. with something kind of. Kooky to try to look like

  148. they've developed some form of revelation.

  149. Now most believers don't even go to the Book of Revelation

  150. because they consider it too hard to understand.

  151. And so, you know, we have allow a doctrine of demons.

  152. I'm going to say it that way. To come into the church that has

  153. infiltrated our minds and that is this.

  154. Well, the Revelations, Revelation deals with the end.

  155. It's going to take care of itself.

  156. I don't. Need to understand it well the

  157. Bible also says the minute you hold that and think that's from

  158. God and that you can maintain that.

  159. Position. The scripture also says my

  160. people perish due to lack of knowledge.

  161. So you're willfully saying that God's OK with you not to

  162. understand the book, nor are you even going to investigate it

  163. because it's too hard? Well, it's not too hard.

  164. It is to be revealed. The problem is most of the time

  165. when Saints start to study the Word, they don't actually go to

  166. the scripture. They first go to the commentary.

  167. OK. Which means then I don't know

  168. anything, let me go to someone. OK, well honestly that's a

  169. problem. Because if the first commentary

  170. you go to isn't actually accurate that they they

  171. themselves do not take the whole scripture in the right context,

  172. then you can start developing a mindset that is inaccurate.

  173. Let me say this, just because there is a difference of

  174. writings concerning any subject doesn't make it confusing, it

  175. just means someone's wrong. And it's amazing how we will

  176. abandoned seeking ourselves and relieve ourselves of the

  177. responsibility to seek just because enough people have

  178. written on a subject that seemed to contradict them.

  179. So we assume then it must be confusing.

  180. No, someone may only have written that piece because their

  181. lens set is wrong, which produce wrong conclusions.

  182. That if you studied it yourself, you would be able to go back in

  183. easily and say This is why this person's wrong.

  184. But you understand, we don't want to say people are wrong,

  185. people are wrong. It's OK.

  186. That's not a negative. I'm thankful that God told me I

  187. was. Wrong.

  188. That the way that seemed right to me to be with to him was

  189. death. That son, that's wrong.

  190. I'm glad that he let me know son.

  191. The only right is that I'm the way the truth and the life.

  192. No man comes to the father but by me and Paul took this

  193. position. He said now listen, I'm telling

  194. you some things and if you don't agree with me, that's fine.

  195. God will reveal to you that I'm right now.

  196. He wasn't acting like I'm right and look at me and being

  197. egotistical. What he was saying is the

  198. revelation that I have is correct because the Spirit of

  199. truth has revealed it. I know it according to scripture

  200. back and forth. I know it is the reveal will of

  201. God and if you have a different opinion, God is going to change

  202. your mind. Amen.

  203. So it's OK as a believer to take the position that when you're

  204. right, you're right. And here's the thing, if you

  205. have taken a position I'm right only to find out that maybe

  206. you're wrong, then changing get to the right, it's OK.

  207. I would much rather always seem firmly persuaded about something

  208. then all then be lukewarm and vacillate as if I don't even

  209. know. Which then shows all fake

  210. humility. Well, you know, I just, his ways

  211. are higher than our ways. His thoughts are high.

  212. I just don't know, You know, I just really don't know.

  213. I really don't know. The Bible says you can have the

  214. mind of Christ. So again, you're really

  215. willfully confessing. I refuse to be a seeker of his

  216. Kingdom to know. And I'm just going to stay in

  217. the dark, but I'm going to seem humble about it because God's

  218. all knowing. Hallelujah.

  219. So 7 is the word of completion. So in essence, what he is saying

  220. here is he has the spirit that is perfect.

  221. This is the. Perfect Spirit.

  222. The Holy Spirit is perfect. The Holy Spirit never gets

  223. anything wrong. Look to your neighbor and say

  224. the Holy Spirit is never wrong. You know what?

  225. That means that means when he starts talking to you about you.

  226. Don't debate with him about it. I remember one time I was

  227. spending a little, spending some time in prayer and I, the Holy

  228. Ghost spoke to me as clear as day.

  229. Now, it wasn't audible, boys, but it was clear in my spirit,

  230. you know, and I had taken some time to, to pray, you know, this

  231. was when I was young, way younger ministry.

  232. It was before I even moved here really young in ministry, you

  233. know? And you know, I was not

  234. purposeful about praying in the Spirit nor about prayer in

  235. general, OK. I basically had the same

  236. existence that 90 something percent of Christians have.

  237. And how do you know? Just ask them to pray somewhere.

  238. You go to public place. So why don't you pray?

  239. It's amazing how quick they're like you go to place who wants

  240. to pray? How is this?

  241. Why are we not all? I'll do it because it's natural

  242. for me to pray, right? A lot of times don't even ask

  243. become like they ain't ready. I'll just pray.

  244. You know, people who pray just start praying, right?

  245. And people who don't pray when they're asked to pray are, you

  246. know, like in school, you put your head down.

  247. You don't want to teach her to see you and ask you to answer

  248. that question. OK, but I'll never forget.

  249. The Lord said if you spend as much time with your wife as you

  250. do with me, you wouldn't be married very long.

  251. Yeah, I'll never forget that. I'll never forget that.

  252. What I didn't do is you're wrong, because he's never wrong.

  253. He's perfect. He's perfect in everything he

  254. says to us. The question is, will we just

  255. yield and do it? Hallelujah.

  256. Amen. Has he ever told you you were

  257. lazy? He's told me before.

  258. You're being lazy about that. I'm It's tempting to want to

  259. read your resume, but what's he saying?

  260. You have the capacity to do more and to make the excuse why you

  261. can't is really not because you're busy or you're so full,

  262. It's because you're actually being lazy.

  263. He calls it like it is. Say Amen.

  264. Anyway, all right, so let's identify the seven spirits that

  265. obviously John wrote about when he saw this and it comes from a

  266. prophecy. Do you understand?

  267. Jesus Christ fulfilled a boatload of prophecies.

  268. I don't have that number off the top of my head.

  269. I think it was 300 and something that's very specific that he

  270. fulfilled the chance for one person to fulfill a prophecy or

  271. eight. I think statistically is like so

  272. much So thank you, Holy Ghost for reminding me.

  273. If, if for one person to fulfill eight of the prophecies written

  274. about the Messiah is like taking a stack of of, of of dollars,

  275. you know, the coin, the silver dollar, stacking them up one by

  276. one, touching each other. It would be two feet high and

  277. cover the whole state of Texas. Then you take one of those

  278. silver dollars, paint it red, hide it, and you go and pull it

  279. the first time. That is the statistic

  280. probability of one person fulfilling only eight of the

  281. prophecies written about the Messiah.

  282. Jesus fulfilled over 300. Prophecies.

  283. When he was on the planet and there are other prophecies still

  284. to fulfill concerning his coming.

  285. Are you hearing me? So Isaiah had prophecies

  286. concerning Jesus, of which he has fulfilled some of Isaiah's

  287. prophecies. However, John is seeing some

  288. things that are beyond his lifetime and beyond the age he's

  289. in. Isaiah prophesied and said this

  290. verse one. He said then a shoot will spring

  291. forth from the stem of Jesse and a branch from his roots will

  292. bear fruit. Well has that happened?

  293. Prophecy fulfilled to. The Spirit of the Lord will rest

  294. upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of

  295. counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the

  296. Lord. So those are the seven spirits.

  297. Of the Lord, they're the seven spirits that are before His

  298. throne. We have the spirit of the Lord.

  299. We have the spirit of knowledge, the spirit or wisdom, excuse me,

  300. the spirit of the Lord, the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of

  301. understanding, the spirit of counsel, the spirit of strength,

  302. the spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of the fear of the Lord.

  303. Verse two has been fulfilled and we'll see that here in a minute.

  304. Verse 3. But it goes on and we didn't

  305. read this last week. And he will delight in the fear

  306. of the Lord, and he will not judge by what he see, what his

  307. eyes see, nor make a decision by what his ears hear.

  308. But the righteous he will judge, but with righteousness he will

  309. judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of

  310. the earth. He will strike the earth with

  311. the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he will

  312. slay the wicked also. Righteousness will be the belt

  313. about his loins, and faithfulness the belt around his

  314. waist. Glory to.

  315. God, what a picture of the King of Kings.

  316. Of the one to come of this shoot that's going to spring forth

  317. from the stem of Jesse and become a branch and bear fruit

  318. aren't you glad he's bearing fruit today aren't you glad that

  319. you're the fruit of him? Amen.

  320. And so him, John, knowing this and understanding the writings

  321. of Isaiah, when he saw this, he recognized these are the seven

  322. spirits of. That are before the throne of

  323. God, the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of

  324. understanding, the spirit of counsel, the Spirit of strength,

  325. the Spirit of knowledge, and the spirit of the.

  326. Fear of the Lord. How do we know that this has

  327. been fulfilled? Isaiah 61 One again he

  328. prophesied concerning this. What does it say?

  329. You know what the Spirit of the Lord is?

  330. What upon me? Because the Lord has anointed me

  331. to bring good news to the afflicted, He has sent me to

  332. bond up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives

  333. and freedom to the prisoners. This is fulfilled in Luke 418

  334. where Jesus opened up the scrolls of Isaiah open to this

  335. place, read these particular words and then shut the book and

  336. said, This is fulfilled before your eyes.

  337. Hallelujah. So Jesus testifies that he has

  338. of the seven spirits of God, which is the Holy Spirit.

  339. I have the Spirit of the Lord upon me.

  340. I said I have the Spirit of the Lord today.

  341. I'm only going to address one of the seven spirits that are

  342. outlined of the Holy Ghost today because it's really important

  343. that I deal with one. Then we'll pair them up or maybe

  344. group them in threes. I don't know.

  345. We'll see as we move forward because they are very applicable

  346. to us today. Say this applies to me.

  347. Say this applies to me. Say this applies to me.

  348. All right, because God has given you a greater spirit, He's

  349. giving you a greater spirit. So then turning over to Acts

    Acts 10:23

  350. chapter 10, verse 23, again it was echoed or spoken concerning

  351. Jesus. It says this, you know, of Jesus

  352. of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and

  353. with power man. And we're going to get some

  354. revelation of this statement more so because the church has

  355. done a really poor job because they do not know the Bible's

  356. about a king, his Kingdom and his roll offspring.

  357. They have hugged trees of his Kingdom instead of ministering

  358. in the lens of his Kingdom and they have specialize certain

  359. words and began to sensationalize certain aspects

  360. of God and missing the whole thing, you know of Jesus of

  361. Nazareth, How who God, how who? Who's God the Father?

  362. How the Father anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit, that is

  363. the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  364. How the Father anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power

  365. and how he went about doing good and healing all.

  366. How many? Come on, how many?

  367. How many? How many came down and got laid

  368. hands on today? So how many should expect to

  369. receive healing? All who are oppressed by the

  370. devil, for God the Father was with him.

  371. Jesus testifies that the Spirit of the Lord is upon me.

  372. Here Acts the writer reminds us that he was anointed by the Holy

  373. Ghost. It came upon him.

  374. Look what it says in John chapter one verse 32 and 33.

  375. This is the easy reading version.

  376. It says then John said, I also do not know who the Messiah was,

  377. meaning I didn't know who he was, but the one who sent me,

  378. which is the Father by the Spirit to baptize with water

  379. told me. So he heard this by the Spirit.

  380. Because John is the greatest prophet, say the greatest

  381. prophet, he was the greatest prophet.

  382. And the anointing or the Holy Spirit would come upon the

  383. prophet, the priest and the king.

  384. So the Holy Spirit, when it came upon him, a tangible presence

  385. and glory of God would come upon John.

  386. And when that power or that anointing came on upon him, upon

  387. him, it would leave. It would come, it would leave,

  388. it would come, and when it come, it came.

  389. It spoke to his Spirit and said to him, Now this he said, you

  390. will see the Spirit come down. And what rest on a man?

  391. It's going to rest. It's not going to come down and

  392. come up and come down and come up.

  393. It's going to come and it's going to stay.

  394. I said it's going to stay. He said he is the one who will

  395. baptize with the Holy Spirit. I have seen this happen, John

  396. said. I saw the Spirit come down from

  397. heaven like a dove and rest on this man and he was talking

  398. about Jesus Christ. Come on, say Hallelujah,

  399. Hallelujah. So the Spirit rested upon Jesus.

  400. The Bible also declares in John 334 says this.

  401. For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, For he gives

  402. the Spirit how? Without measure.

  403. Which tells us when the Holy Spirit came upon or rested on

  404. Jesus, the day John baptized him in the Jordan, and he came up

  405. out of the water and the heavens opened up, the Spirit of God

  406. came upon him and rested on him like a dove.

  407. Then God the Father from heaven says, this is my Son, and whom

  408. I'm well pleased. Again the Trinity, the Father.

  409. The Son and the Holy. Spirit.

  410. He anointed him, I said. He anointed him.

  411. He fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy of his anointing, and that

  412. anointing contained without measure, which means the perfect

  413. completion of the Spirit and all that the Spirit of God has,

  414. which are the seven spirits that are contained within the Holy

  415. Ghost. Meaning the Spirit of the Lord,

  416. the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of

  417. counsel, the Spirit of strength, the Spirit of knowledge, and the

  418. spirit of the fear of the Lord. Jesus was walking in the

  419. perfection of this Holy Spirit upon him.

  420. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. So Jesus acknowledges that this

  421. Spirit of the Lord is upon him. Now this is really powerful

  422. because you know this Scripture going to go back to Isaiah,

  423. Isaiah had a lot to say about Jesus and him coming, and a lot

  424. that he had to say about Jesus was always in the context of the

  425. Messiah. Isaiah's teaching of him was

  426. always the kingship. I said the kingship, although he

  427. understood the king would be stricken smitten, he talked

  428. about his form, that it would not be in such a stately that on

  429. the outside we thought he was like the best looking thing

  430. ever. He did not come like King

  431. Absalom. King Absalom was a good looking

  432. man, a good looking man. He did not come like this

  433. gorgeous guy. In fact, if Jesus Walt, you

  434. wouldn't even wreck. He is so common to look at.

  435. He had no stately form about you're not going to go wow,

  436. ladies, you would not go wow, that's a good looking man and

  437. he's not he. He is not so good looking that

  438. even a guy would go, now that's a good looking guy.

  439. Most of you would just go by and if somebody said, what do you

  440. think about Jesus? She'd be like, he's not my type.

  441. Hallelujah. You know, now you may say, well,

  442. why did the Lord make him not look so attractive?

  443. Well, because of his actions, we're going to be so attractive

  444. that then you add the natural appearance man, he was already

  445. going to have problems when he walked and he did.

  446. He's like, I know the hearts of man and they wanted to put him

  447. on the throne that day and he had to he.

  448. I'm not preaching this message. But I am seeing this message and

  449. man, it sure will disrupt the church.

  450. Jesus tried to not be famous. He worked extremely hard to not

  451. be known and the more popular he he he became the more he began

  452. to separate himself, not post more on social media.

  453. Fact when he performed he didn't say man you need to post this he

  454. would say. Don't tell anybody.

  455. And all these people are trying to follow Jesus.

  456. All right, That's another message.

  457. Hallelujah. Now, I'm not saying there's

  458. anything wrong with social media.

  459. Social media is great. It has its IT has its platform,

  460. but it's not for self promotion. OK, it's not for self promotion.

  461. If you don't get a sense that man, we're glorifying God with

  462. that, then shut it down. And you know it when you're when

  463. you have when you start operating with the Holy Spirit

  464. through his through the seven spirits that are that are

  465. attached to who he has as one, then you'll begin to discern

  466. seem like this person is always posting to try to give them

  467. glory for what's going on and not God.

  468. Don't take you long to figure that out.

  469. All right, Isaiah Chapter 9, verse six.

    Isaiah 9 chapter mention

  470. You know this one, it says for a child will be born to us, a son

  471. will be given to us and the government.

  472. Oh, are you man, you're not ready for this.

  473. Can you see it? Do you see it?

  474. Do you already see it? Do you see it?

  475. For a child will be born to us, a son will be given, and the

  476. government will will what? What's it going to do?

  477. The Holy Spirit will. Come on.

  478. The government will rest on His shoulders, and His name will be

  479. called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father

  480. Principe. There will be no end to the

  481. increase of his government or of peace on the throne of David or

  482. over His Kingdom to establish it, to uphold it with justice

  483. and righteousness. From then on forevermore.

  484. The zeal of the Lord will accomplish.

  485. This is Isaiah 9. We jump over into Isaiah 11 and

  486. we talk about this branch that comes out of the stem of Jesse

  487. and that he will embody the the spirit of the Lord will come

  488. upon him and the other six that follow after that.

  489. And then it goes on and starts to declare verses 3-4 and five

  490. of how he will rule as king. Amen.

  491. Matthew Henry, commentator, says this in particular.

  492. The spirit of government, by which he should be every way

  493. fitted for the judgment which the Father has committed to him,

  494. and given him authority to execute.

  495. When we say the spirit of the Lord, we can equally say the

  496. spirit of the government. That's shocking to most people

  497. because again, we've been indoctrinated in our nation from

  498. a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a clergyman of a wall

  499. of separation that would exist when they were writing the

  500. Constitution that in essence, the government will never

  501. mandate to the church who and how you are to believe.

  502. We will never do that is what he was saying.

  503. He never was saying So what you believe can never come into

  504. government because if that were true then most of the writings

  505. that they have you would have to tear down, which is why most

  506. people are trying to tear it down and remove the name God

  507. from everything that we have because Thomas never, in fact,

  508. Thomas knew every person's belief will show up in

  509. government. If you do not believe in a God,

  510. then your government or its legislation will embody that

  511. belief. This is why Thomas Jefferson

  512. stripped in his Bible all of the miracles Jesus performed and

  513. only included his social activity.

  514. And he was concluding that if you just follow the social work

  515. of Jesus, it is the perfect governing society where everyone

  516. would have the right to pursue freedom, happy the pursuit of

  517. happiness. We would be not at odds with one

  518. another. He was concluding that the just

  519. the general moral principles of governing that Jesus held can

  520. create the perfect society. Why?

  521. Because he's the King. The problem is man cannot do it,

  522. especially our current government, because it removes

  523. the necessary raw material, the necessary raw material that's

  524. necessary in order for the Kingdom to manifest, and that is

  525. the Holy Spirit and this element of Him, one of His attributes,

  526. the Spirit of the Lord or the Spirit of government.

  527. Only the Holy Spirit can rightly govern because the Holy Spirit

  528. only does what the Son says, and the Son is the king, and where

  529. the word of the King is, there's power.

  530. But the Son doesn't do what he does.

  531. He always does what the Father said, because the Father and the

  532. Son are functioning like the original Adam was, to function

  533. when God created the heavens and the earth.

  534. I am the God of heaven, Adam, you are the God of this earth.

  535. If you obey me, then you will live in a perfect society.

  536. My Spirit is in you. I'll come down in the cool of

  537. the day. There's no sin in your

  538. environment as there's no sin in my environment.

  539. So. Just show me you love me by

  540. obeying me at my word, but if you don't, you'll die.

  541. Be separated and that's what took place.

  542. But when? Jesus came who's called the last

  543. Adam. He has the record of the first

  544. Adam and he says this is how the first Adam fell, failed.

  545. He didn't obey God, which we'll get to it probably in a week or

  546. so, that the foundation of the other five spirits so sandwiched

  547. between the spirit of the Lord and the last one mentioned,

  548. which is the spirit of the fear of the Lord.

  549. The rest are contained because we'll see that the Bible says

  550. where the fear of the Lord exists.

  551. Then wisdom oh y'all don't want to hear Jesus functions so tight

  552. in the fear of the Lord. That's right that it gave him

  553. access to everything else. The Holy Spirit had everything

  554. else. So he recognized upon my

  555. shoulders is the Kingdom, the spirit of the Lord, the Lord.

  556. Lord is not a religious word anyway.

  557. Lord means supreme in authority. Just by that definition alone.

  558. You should understand that when God said in the beginning, when

  559. he said, when the Holy Spirit came upon it said this is my

  560. beloved son, in whom how God anointed him.

  561. We know this through our teachings is that anointing is

  562. what you do to a king. So in essence, he said, I have

  563. given him the spirit of my government, of what is supreme

  564. in authority for all mankind. He operates under that

  565. principle. Yes, Hallelujah.

  566. So every time Jesus says the Spirit of the Lord, he's saying

  567. the spirit of the government, of the Kingdom, of the King's

  568. dominion, of the King's reign, of the word of the King.

  569. That's what is upon, That's what rests on me.

  570. Hallelujah. Are you hearing me?

  571. Isaiah 42? One says this.

  572. Behold my Servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one, and whom

  573. my soul delights. I shall put my spirit upon him.

  574. He will bring forth what justice to the nation's.

  575. One translation says Gentiles, but it might as well say nations

  576. because in God's context you have Israel and the Gentiles,

  577. you have his chosen covenant nation and then the rest of the

  578. nations of the world. And yet Jesus was bringing

  579. justice to the nation. In essence, to the shock of

  580. Peter and others, is that God was opening up his kingship and

  581. his government to go beyond the natural boundaries of.

  582. Israel. Hallelujah.

  583. Hallelujah, I said. Hallelujah.

  584. John 522 says this, for not even the Father judges anyone, but He

  585. has given all judgment to the Son.

  586. Why? Because he has the spirit of the

  587. Lord. Jump down a few verses to John

  588. 527 it says this. And he gave him authority to

  589. execute what judgment? Because he is the Son of Man.

  590. In essence, he says the government of my Kingdom in the

  591. earth should have always rested upon man.

  592. Let us make man in our image according to our likeness.

  593. And let them rule have dominion. Over the fish of the sea, birds

  594. of the sky, over all the cattle, over all the earth, over every

  595. creepy thing that creeps on the earth.

  596. In essence, let the spirit of the Lord or the government rest

  597. upon man. So the Son of Man had the spirit

  598. of the Lord or the spirit of His government rest on his

  599. shoulders, of which he can execute judgement, and He is the

  600. only righteous, true king. Come on, can I get an Amen?

  601. Look what Isaiah 32 one through 5 says.

  602. Man, there's so much about our king in Isaiah.

  603. Isaiah, behold, a king will reign righteously, and Princess

  604. will rule justly. Are we going to get to these

  605. people here in a second? Come on, you know who those

  606. Princess are? Do you know who those Princess

  607. are? You are?

  608. So a king will reign righteously.

  609. Why? Because he has the Spirit of the

  610. Lord. Each will be like a refuge from

  611. the wind and a shelter from the storm.

  612. Like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a

  613. huge rock in a parched land. Oh, my gosh, my King.

  614. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the

  615. ears of those who hear will listen.

  616. The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, and the

  617. tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.

  618. No longer will the fool be called noble, or the road be

  619. spoken of as generous. Oh, man, we'll break that down

  620. at another time. But you understand the King will

  621. reign righteously. The aspect of the Holy Ghost

  622. when he came upon Jesus was to bring him the government of God

  623. through man again in the earth. The Expositor Bible writes this

  624. to Christians. We have been accustomed by the

  625. use of the word comforter to associate the Spirit only with

  626. the gentle and consoling influences of heaven.

  627. It may seem strange to find his energy identified with the stern

  628. rigor of the magistrate. In essence, this guy, this

  629. writer is saying we're so, so used to this soft spoken Jesus

  630. and that the Spirit of God is soft spoken.

  631. You know he. Speaks to our inner man, and he

  632. does, I get that, but we only associate him this way.

  633. However, the Holy Spirit has this aspect about him and that

  634. is the administrator of Kingdom policy, a magistrate, One who?

  635. Enacts the policies of the king of the Kingdom.

  636. And he does it with great force. This is why the king has a sword

  637. in his mouth. I said he has a sword in his

  638. mouth. Again, is Jesus the Prince of

  639. Peace? Yes.

  640. But did he bring peace on the earth?

  641. Only To those who have called on the name of the Lord, they can

  642. function in peace. But to the rest, he's brought

  643. the same sword. And this sword brings division,

  644. it brings conflict. In fact, Jesus said, do you

  645. think that I've come to bring peace?

  646. I have not come to bring. Peace I have come to divide.

  647. In essence, he said. I have come to make it crystal

  648. clear. The fool let.

  649. Me. Go back and see how they said

  650. that. The fool that you keep calling

  651. noble and the rogue you keep calling is generous.

  652. I know their behavior. I see them for who they are

  653. because I bring the standard of the Kingdom.

  654. Hallelujah. Come on, say Amen.

  655. And you want him to be here. I mean, Jesus is not a pushover.

  656. Jesus is not being duped. It's amazing how many people

  657. think they're putting one over Jesus.

  658. It's not happening. It's amazing of how many of

  659. your, you know how your own children are.

  660. How many parents do I have in here?

  661. Have you? You know, when your kids think

  662. they got something on you, they put something over on you and

  663. you're like, I know what's happening, right?

  664. Right. They put one over you.

  665. I mean, you know, the the first time that you go to correct your

  666. child and they're like, let's pray.

  667. I need to ask you, you're like, oh, that's so sweet.

  668. Wow, that's so sweet. They're doing it.

  669. You know, they revert over to what they know to do because

  670. they've been taught. And then it you're like so

  671. enthralled that they would go to God, you're like, wow in the

  672. world. Could I even spank the child

  673. now? Or, you know, go any further

  674. correction, let's just deal with this.

  675. But then they realized that Ave. keeps me from this.

  676. Come on. And then you're like, you know,

  677. I've told you before when I decided one time I just wanted

  678. to talk back to my mom. I use this technique, You know,

  679. I would say things to her and then I would throw this two

  680. letter, you know, this phrase to her.

  681. Just kidding. I'm just kidding.

  682. And I don't mean it. I'm kidding.

  683. No disrespect to you. This is just a joke.

  684. And if it's just a joke, we can laugh about it, right?

  685. Well, I probably did it three or four times.

  686. Then my mom called me on it. She says no, you're not kidding.

  687. You actually mean it, but you're following up with a.

  688. Just kidding. If you do it again, you're going

  689. to get this, this, this, this, this.

  690. I mean, it was not this. It was.

  691. It's going to at least hit the five, right?

  692. One to include a weapon and if anywhere on the five it include

  693. dad got to be a part of the spanking process.

  694. That's the problem. That is a problem that was

  695. problematic. OK.

  696. That was real deal because I could handle my mom's weapons at

  697. some point. My dad's Nah I just as soon it

  698. never occurs. Not because he beat me.

  699. He was just stronger. There's something about a father

  700. correcting. So husbands, don't let your

  701. wives do it all. Be a man.

  702. Show yourself a man and. Correct, your children, all

  703. right. Praise the Lord, and when

  704. necessary, the avenue that brings training.

  705. It's called the glutus maximus, right?

  706. Hallelujah. Isaiah chapter 2, verses 2

    Isaiah 2:2–4

  707. through 4 says this. Now it will come about that in

  708. the last days. Oh, I love this.

  709. This just gets me jacked. It will come about in the last

  710. days, the mountain of the house. And now we're talking mountain.

  711. We're talking government. We're not talking about a real

  712. physical mountain. We're talking about a

  713. government. So in essence, the government of

  714. the Lord or the Lord and his government, the Kingdom will be

  715. established as the what Chief of the mountains?

  716. I will be raised above the. Hills and all the nations will

  717. stream to it, and many people will come and say, come, let us

  718. go before the mountain of the Lord, let us go to the Kingdom,

  719. let us go to. The King of Kings.

  720. To the House of the God of Jacob, which is Israel.

  721. That's why Israel and I don't care what conflicts happening

  722. today, people, Israel will not be overtaken.

  723. They're going to have conflict. They're going to be bombarded.

  724. In fact, there's going to come a time that they're going to

  725. invade half of it. But before they take over the

  726. city Jerusalem, Jesus will show back up physically in the

  727. planet. The king will not let Israel be

  728. taken. It will never happen ever again.

  729. Ever. OK, that he they says, let us

  730. come to the mountain of the Lord, to come to the House of

  731. the God of Jacob, that he may what teach us concerning his

  732. ways, that we may walk in his past.

  733. For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord

  734. from Jerusalem, and he will judge between the nations, and

  735. will render decisions for many people.

  736. And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their

  737. Spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword

  738. against nation, and never again will they learn war.

  739. Wow, can somebody say Amen? Only Jesus can establish peace.

  740. On Earth. So your ideal, as much as you

  741. want it, man, we just want to have peace on earth.

  742. So you're a follower of Jesus. That what you're telling me

  743. you're doing the Kingdom cause? Because if you're not doing the

  744. Kingdom cause, all of your peace efforts are futile.

  745. But man, they raise a lot of money from the world and they

  746. deceive a lot of people. All right.

  747. So notice that they want to run to the Kingdom and learn of its

  748. ways. You know what's amazing is that

  749. you can run and learn of its ways.

  750. Now when you come to Zion, Zion is not only Jerusalem, but it's

  751. also a type and shadow of His church.

  752. And in this current dispensation, as a king use of

  753. the king, you should want to run to the House of the Lord,

  754. because again, the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.

  755. A child will be born, a son will be given, and the government

  756. shall rest on his shoulders. The shoulders are contained in

  757. the body. Jesus is the head of the church.

  758. So we are the ambassadors who are assembling together to hear

  759. from the home country through the gifts He has given the

  760. Church to train us in the ways of His Kingdom so that we can be

  761. the highest of all mountains right now.

  762. The what? Oh y'all, the one you

  763. understand. Delegates are going to hit

  764. Chicago this week so that they can get in rooms and talk about

  765. how their policies, their view, their vision for this nation,

  766. how they can take it over and cause the mountain called the

  767. United States of America to be in their image.

  768. What they, the Republican Party has already done theirs.

  769. Now the Democrat are doing theirs and they're saying we

  770. will. This is the image of our

  771. mountain. We want it to look like this.

  772. But right now we are assembling together and we can say we

  773. actually are on the highest mountain.

  774. We actually have the mountain that will rise above the

  775. Republican mountain, above the Democratic mountain, above any

  776. other mountain that could ever above China's mountain, above

  777. Russia's mountain, above Europe's mountain mountain.

  778. You are on the highest mountain. And the only reason why that

  779. mountain is not showing itself more is because people are

  780. complacent with going to heaven when they die.

  781. They're. Going to say the Spirit of the

  782. Lord is upon them and know nothing about his Kingdom.

  783. Well, if the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, then as a good

  784. ambassador you would run to Zion and learn of His ways.

  785. And those who are you know as well as I do you ready for this.

  786. Alexander McLaren said these words.

  787. The prophet saw not all the wonders of perfect human

  788. character which that indwelling spirit would bring to the

  789. realization in him, but what he saw was indispensable to the

  790. perfect King, and was at all events an arc of the mighty

  791. circle of perfection which has now been revealed in the life of

  792. Jesus. The possibilities of humanity

  793. under the influence of the Divine Spirit are revealed here

  794. no less than the actuality of the Messiah's character.

  795. What Jesus is, he gives to his subjects.

  796. To become by the indwelling in them of the spirit of life,

  797. which was in Him in essence. God has empowered us with the

  798. same Spirit. The same spirit.

  799. And what has the church done? The church has only They only

  800. want to see the Holy Spirit if they even welcome me.

  801. They only want to see him as. The gentle talker, the

  802. comforter. Because we're in so much trouble

  803. down here, you know, we're really just center saved by

  804. grace. It's tough, it's hard, but you

  805. know, I know that I'm going to go to heaven when I die.

  806. And he comforts me because, you know, we're going to get out one

  807. day. He comforts me.

  808. Or they recognize that there's a language and they come not

  809. really for the power, but more for the language.

  810. But then when they get the language they want the.

  811. Gifts that are associated with it.

  812. So the Holy Spirit now is really about the gifts and they just

  813. don't want tongues and interpretation.

  814. They really want the gifts of the power.

  815. When we say power, we're talking about the miraculous things that

  816. take place, the gifts of faith, the gift of faith, the gifts of

  817. healing and the working of miracles.

  818. Those gifts that will raise the dead, that will cause blind eyes

  819. to see, that will call lame to walk.

  820. I mean, we're like, we want this or we want that word of

  821. knowledge so that we are really no more in motive different than

  822. those who listen to other spirits and we call them

  823. fortune. Tellers because that's but when

  824. we read that the spirit of the Lord look how God anointed Jesus

  825. of Nazareth who went around doing good right how God

  826. anointed him with the Holy Spirit and power.

  827. The word power there dunamis it still, it has the context

  828. because we understand that the spirit of the Lord is the spirit

  829. of his government. In essence, when he was

  830. anointed, it was a King's anointing and he was anointed

  831. with the Holy Spirit and power or authority.

  832. Because the minute you get up underneath the King's anointing,

  833. then the other aspects are part of that comes with the authority

  834. of the government of God. And what he's saying is he's

  835. saying. Christ the King, who had

  836. perfection of the Spirit without measure, will give to us in

  837. measure, meaning we can now aspect of which those seven

  838. spirits of the Holy Spirit can begin to function in and through

  839. us, because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead

  840. lives in US and comes upon us. It rests on us.

  841. It does not withdraw itself. We have that particular power,

  842. and if we'll follow its leading, then we have access, because

  843. what we actually have is the authority of the believer first,

  844. or the mandate of kingship. We've been given back rulership

  845. in the earth to represent the king who sits on the throne of

  846. which we've been assigned in his same sea, because we've been

  847. raised up and seated together with him in Christ.

  848. Which means then, according to first Timothy 6:15, which he

    1 Timothy 6:15

  849. will bring about his proper time, right?

  850. He who is blessed and only sovereign, the King of and the

  851. Lord of. So when the Spirit of the Lord

  852. came upon you, it was to give you the power and the authority

  853. of a king. You are God's government in the

  854. earth. In essence, you are the final

  855. say on the matter. You are.

  856. And when Jesus was in the earth, He was the final say on the

  857. matter. I said He was the final say on

  858. the matter because we'll see in Scripture because He had access

  859. to wisdom and understanding when people came towards him and says

  860. this woman was caught in adultery.

  861. The spirit of understanding, when he was in a room and all of

  862. a sudden there were people in the corner and a guy comes

  863. through the roof. That's lame.

  864. Because of the spirit of understanding, he could say, why

  865. do you say to yourself, because I have the spirit.

  866. I have the final say on this thing.

  867. I have the final say on the because I the spirit of the

  868. government is upon me. The final say in the earth is

  869. mine. I said the spirit of the Lord is

  870. upon me. The spirit of government is a

  871. The final say is mine. The final say is mine.

  872. The final say is yours. Cancer doesn't have the final

  873. say. Your bank account doesn't have

  874. the final say. Your current, current trial

  875. doesn't have the final say, but because you have the greater

  876. Spirit, you have the Holy Spirit.

  877. You hold him, house him, He's rests on you.

  878. You have access to the final say.

  879. Of the Kingdom of God in the earth.

  880. Let's pray. Father, we love you and we honor

  881. you. We thank you.
