Sermon
What's The Catch - Kingdom Partnership

-
Well, good morning. Today I want to talk to you
-
about what is the catch, All right.
-
We're talking about Kingdom partnership today, Amen.
-
Turn over to Psalms 115 versus 15 to 16115 versus 15 to 16.
-
It says this, May you be blessed of the Lord, Maker of heaven and
-
earth. The heavens are the heavens of
-
the Lord, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. He is the Maker of heaven and
-
earth. The heavens are the Lords, but
-
the earth He has given to the sons of men.
-
Psalms chapter 8, verses 4 through 9 says it this way.
-
What is man that you take fault of him?
-
The Son of man that you care for him, yet you have made him a
-
little lower than God. And that is the correct
-
translation, because that word in the original Hebrew is
-
Elohim, which is not angels, is actually God.
-
So you made him a little lower than God, and you crowned him
-
with glory and majesty. You make him to rule over the
-
works of your hands. You have put all things under
-
his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the
-
field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea.
-
Whatever passes through the paths of the sea.
-
Oh Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. So the heavens are the heavens
-
of the Lord, but the earth he has given, He has entrusted, He
-
is allowed to rule to the sons of men.
-
Amen. Who is man that you consider
-
him? He's a little lower than God.
-
In essence, God said, I'm creating a partner.
-
I've created by the words of my mouth.
-
I've created the heavens and the earth and the realm of earth.
-
I am wanting a partner, someone who will come alongside me and
-
rule as I rule in the realm of the earth.
-
Hallelujah. I'm going to create a man in my
-
image according to our my likeness according to Genesis
-
chapter 1, verses 26 to 28. He said.
-
God said, let us make man in our image according to our likeness,
-
and let them have rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds
-
of the sky, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over
-
every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
-
God created man in his own image, in the image of God.
-
He created him, male and female, He created them.
-
God bless them. And God said to them, be
-
fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and
-
rule over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, over
-
every living thing that moves on the earth.
-
Hallelujah. So we see in these three
-
passages of Scripture that when God created the heavens and the
-
earth, He had us in mind. He intentionally decided that
-
I'm not going to do everything alone.
-
I am going to have those who partner with me and I'll give
-
them a task. I'll give them an assignment.
-
I'll give them a purpose, a reason for living.
-
And he defined our boundaries because the psalmist said in
-
chapter 8 and then Genesis 1 is that what is man that you care
-
for him? Now, obviously the psalmist is
-
saying that because he is taking this from a perspective that he
-
has fallen out of his position at the time of the psalmist
-
writing. Man has sinned.
-
Man has fallen from dominion, Man has been pulled out of their
-
original intent. Yet God is saying all along, I
-
always intended when I spoke creation into existence, both
-
the heaven and the earth. I wanted my man to be able to
-
rule over the earth. He would rule in his realm as I
-
rule in my realm, and together we would partner over creation.
-
Hallelujah, that's why the beginning of first Corinthians
-
chapter 3 verse 9 says for we are God's fellow workers.
-
We are God's fellow workers. Another translation the the good
-
News Bible says it this way. We are part we are partners
-
working together for God. Amen.
-
You could also say with God, we're working together now.
-
He's the one who holds the authority ultimately, but He has
-
delegated authority to his man. And when I say man, I'm not
-
talking males only. We're talking males and females.
-
He has delegated to the spirit of man, OK, the ability to rule
-
as God rules in his realm, we can rule in this realm.
-
God always intended to have a partnership, not to be doing it
-
alone, not to be doing it alone. And he never created Adam out of
-
the dust of the earth when he breathed into his nostrils the
-
breath of life for him to do it alone, because he said it's not
-
good for man to be. Now man's not alone.
-
God was with him. So God's sufficiency is still
-
not enough. God's sufficiency is still not
-
enough. We can't take this.
-
All I need is God. Well, God didn't make man to be
-
only with him. He created man to not only be
-
with him, but we be with others like him.
-
So fellowship and community and partnership across humanity is
-
God's ordained will. Hallelujah.
-
Now in humanity today, there's two types, those that are of the
-
devil and of their father who is the father of lies.
-
And then there there are those who are of our Father who is in
-
heaven, hallowed be your name, Amen.
-
And man, we want to be around those that are in the Kingdom of
-
God with us. Now, let me just say this.
-
Not everyone knows Dad like equally because it depends on
-
when we came out. It depends on what we've set
-
under to hear. It depends on our own personal
-
seeking and studying. But I would say the more you
-
have revelation of your Father, the more patient you can be with
-
those who do not, the more you can rally to reveal Him to them
-
and be patient as they're learning.
-
Because there was a day I didn't know what I know today.
-
But I love God with all my heart, with all my soul, with
-
all my mind, and with all my strength.
-
It's just that my mind didn't know a whole lot yet.
-
I knew I was saved. I knew that if I died, I would
-
go and be with Him who's presently in heaven.
-
But I did not know that I could be baptized in the Spirit, that
-
I could have this expression of God's power come upon me.
-
Didn't know that. And I'll never forget.
-
You know, obviously I met another pastor who brought me
-
into that truth. And man, I was thankful that he
-
was patient with me, that he met with me every morning before I
-
went to work. I'm glad he didn't say I can't
-
believe you don't know that and was offended of my lack of
-
knowledge. No, he was patient with me.
-
He was like man, let me help you out and I said just show me in
-
the word and man lie about. But ultimately, even though he
-
was showing me scripturally, I had to get the personal
-
revelation and faith to receive and man in October of 1995, I
-
received the baptism of the Holy Ghost man and spoke in the
-
language of the Kingdom and my life's never been the same.
-
Yet a few two years later, three years later, I find myself on
-
the campus of Rhema Bible in college and sit in a class on
-
the ABC's of Faith. And it was just that, ABC's.
-
But for me that was even foreign.
-
I had never heard the stuff they were saying.
-
And I'm looking at my wife and I'm like, I don't even know the
-
Bible. But up to that point, I am
-
loving the Lord my God with all my heart, all my soul, all my
-
mind and all my strength. I remember being so upset after
-
the first month of Rhema. Then I'm like, why in the world
-
did the pastors that I said under as I was growing up never
-
teach me this stuff? I'm using my childhood Bible.
-
It was in there the whole time and I'll never forget these
-
words from the Lord. He said, Son, you can't.
-
If you get upset with them, then you're going to be in
-
unforgiveness and I, I cannot train you any further, he said.
-
But besides, you didn't seek me on your own anyway.
-
That's why out of that I coined this phrase that I communicate
-
every time I in any place that I've ministered, and I've said
-
it here multiple times, do not believe what I'm saying because
-
I believe it because I'm saying it.
-
You believe it because you search the Scripture out for
-
yourself to determine that it's so.
-
Amen. Don't ever believe because I
-
believe because the best you'll be is a seventh son of Skiba,
-
and you'll get yourself in trouble.
-
You're going to have to have your own personal revelation and
-
understanding of the things we're talking about.
-
See it yourself, God reveal it to you, and boom, the lights
-
come on in the Spirit, renew your mind, and now you can walk
-
in that truth. But I know this man, I'm not
-
going backwards. I am not going backwards.
-
I have gone from faith to faith to faith to faith to glory and I
-
am not going back. So I'll be patient with those
-
that may not be where I'm at. And I'm always looking for those
-
who are beyond me in revelation beyond me and an application of
-
the knowledge of God. Because if there's something I
-
don't know, please give me the instructions.
-
Show me in the word. I just want to be the best that
-
I can be for the King while I'm in the earth.
-
Amen. So we are fellow workers with
-
God. We are partners.
-
God never intended for us to do this alone.
-
He didn't want to do it alone, and He doesn't want us to do it
-
only with him, but with Him and others that are part of his
-
family. Again, if God only wanted to
-
have a relationship singularly, he would have made Adam.
-
But he said, let's make man in our image.
-
Then he said, here's your purpose, you're going to have to
-
multiply, which means I want more of you.
-
I've put it within you that when Adam and Eve, if they had never
-
sinned, would begin to always produce a seed that would have
-
constantly been godly, not in sin, not sinful, and it would
-
have been a generation of only holy godly offspring, that would
-
have been it. And ultimately, that's all we're
-
going to have in the end anyway, that when those who have
-
rejected Jesus as Lord and they're cast into the lake of
-
fire, which is the prison system of the Kingdom, hell is not the
-
devil's, OK? The hell is not the devil's
-
domain. The devil is not in hell.
-
He's actually in the air, OK? He's one of the principalities
-
of the air. Hell is a prison place for the
-
Lord that ultimately would turn over into a lake of fire.
-
And that's where all the eternal that have rejected him are
-
judged according to their will of not wanting to be with the
-
Lord. And he'll give them what they
-
want. But for us who've called on the
-
name of the Lord, for us that want to be in his Kingdom, for
-
us that want to serve him and be with life man, we're going to be
-
together. And it's not like I'm going to
-
go up there and, you know, be with the Lord and monopolize his
-
eternal time. No, we're going to be together
-
and I'm going to love to be. I love to be around those that
-
love God like I love God passionate.
-
I mean, it's the easiest relationship.
-
I mean, it's so much joy to be around those who are like
-
minded. Second Corinthians 61 says it
-
this way, another scripture and working together with him.
-
We're working together with him. The new Living Translation says
-
it this way. As God's partners as God's
-
partners, so we are are always having to rework our minds
-
because of the of a of a spirit that is in our nation and that
-
is the spirit of independence. And the spirit of independence
-
is, is where we kind of want to do our personal thing, our own
-
thing. Nobody's going to tell me what
-
to do mentality. However I need the Lord to tell
-
me what to do and I need the Lord to lead me and guide me by
-
a spirit because He's life and so I'm fully dependent upon him
-
and I have to pull. And then I also have to
-
understand that I'm not in this thing alone and it's not just
-
about me. That God always envisioned
-
something larger than us. Never once He did not come for
-
just one at all. Again, you've heard it said, you
-
know, well if, if only one would have received the Lord God,
-
Jesus would have came. And we know that Jesus is
-
coming, period. Whether any of us would have
-
accepted him, because God is going to have a pathway back to
-
dominion so that he can rightly judge all of humanity, no one
-
will ever be able to say to him, well, you didn't even give us a
-
chance. You knew we weren't none of us
-
going to come, so you didn't even try.
-
That won't happen. He will have.
-
He would have paid the price anyway.
-
But he did not come for just one.
-
He's not thinking about just one.
-
He's thinking about all of us, even the ones that he'll have to
-
say depart from me for I never knew you.
-
He's even thinking about them. Amen.
-
Because God will fulfill His word.
-
So partnership is really important, Say partnership.
-
Partnership is really important. And as the church, if we are
-
going to become the church mature in the last days, then we
-
have to know our dependency for each other and our partnership
-
is necessary. Anyone who owns a business and
-
has employees are thankful for the partnership because the
-
reality is even though they're employees, employees can quit,
-
employees can can transfer to another place, employees can
-
call out and not show up. Hey, man.
-
And a lot of times, you know, if you're just the employee side
-
or, or you think that of only what you're technically doing,
-
you think that when you don't fulfill part of your partnership
-
responsibility, it doesn't really matter.
-
It matters all the time. It always matters because here's
-
the thing, you're needed. The enemy wants you to think
-
that you're not and that you're taking off or not being here or
-
not coming doesn't matter. It does matter because the enemy
-
always wants to isolate the sheep.
-
Because if the wolf can isolate the sheep, then the sheep, you
-
understand a shepherd can leave sheep alone and the sheep have
-
power to overcome the wolf. You say, how's that?
-
The 99 shepherd has sheep, one strays off, he leaves, he leaves
-
the 99 and goes after the one. Which means that pack staying
-
jointed and fitted together is too intimidating for a wolf.
-
The wolf is not coming to the to the flock not coming in.
-
He can leave the 99 and take the time to go search for the one
-
that is at the most risk. So there's power when you come
-
to the church, there's power when you connect with the
-
church, there's power when you stay with the church, because
-
again, when you're unified and in partnership in his church,
-
listen, the devil doesn't really want to come around, but he'll
-
talk, try to talk you out of it. Come over here.
-
Don't go today, stay here. You're not always trying to get
-
you to pull out. Come out of partnership, get you
-
isolated, Amen. The Lord doesn't want you
-
isolated. The Lord wants you in community,
-
Amen. Which brings me to Luke chapter
Luke 5 chapter mention
-
5. Because there's power in
-
partnership. There's power in partnership,
-
all right? And so I'm going to read these
-
first 11 verses and then we're going to break them down.
-
And so it was as the multitude pressed around him to hear the
-
word of God, that he stood by the lake.
-
Now this is the Sea of Galilee. This lake is the same as the Sea
-
of Galilee. And saw two boats standing by
-
the lake. That means they were anchored on
-
shore by the fishermen who had gone from them and were washing
-
their Nets. Then he got into one of the
-
boats, which was Simons, and asked him to put out a little
-
from the land. And he sat down and taught the
-
multitude from the boat. And when he had stopped
-
speaking, he said to Simon, Launch out into the deep, let
-
down your Nets for a catch. But Simon answered and said to
-
him, Master, we have told all night and called nothing.
-
Nevertheless, at your word I will let down the net, or one
-
translator said, I'll let down the Nets.
-
OK. And when they had done this,
-
they caught a great number of fish, and their Nets were
-
breaking. So they signaled to their
-
partners in the other boat to come and help them.
-
And they began and came and filled both the boats so that
-
they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell
-
down at Jesus's knees saying, Depart from me, for I am a
-
sinful man, oh Lord. And he and all who are with him
-
were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken.
-
And so also were James and John, the sons of 70 who were partners
-
with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, do not
-
be afraid. From now on you will catch men.
-
One translation said you'll become fishers of men.
-
And when they had brought their boats to land, they forsake all
-
and followed him. Amen.
-
So again the new American standard says that he let down
-
his Nets. He let down his Nets, unlike the
-
King James. And if you actually.
-
Look at in its original context, that's what we're talking about.
-
We're talking about not just one, but multiple Nets.
-
In fact, the boats would have not just had one, they would
-
have had a string of Nets that they would have could have been
-
connected together so that they could gather in more fish.
-
So when in one sense, when it says net, it's a string of Nets
-
together. OK, so with that being said
-
here, I want to bring up my net because I need you to visually
-
see that God wants to do something powerful in us as a
-
church. Because God always intended for
-
partnership. Are you hearing me?
-
He never intended us to do things alone, so these words
-
should have never come out of our mouth.
-
My ministry, are you hearing me? My ministry?
-
These should have never come out of our mouth because any
-
ministry we have, it requires others.
-
Amen. And Jesus came back for our
-
Jesus established the church. So anything in ministry must
-
have a connection to the church. If it does not have a connection
-
to the church, that can become a problem.
-
OK, Now, I only say that because, again, Paul referenced
-
that there were some challenges with those at times that would
-
seek their own interest. We're not here to cover that.
-
We're staying with partnership because partnership is where
-
power exists. Are you hearing me?
-
So with that being said, let's look at a few things here that
-
we can learn from this passage of Scripture.
-
There was a time of Labor that went with Peter, James, John,
-
and Andrew where there were no results, meaning they labored
-
with the intent to catch. However, they caught nothing.
-
Now let me tell you something, if you do not labor you have no
-
chance of catching again. I Passover the Matanzas Bridge
-
every day and when I do there are a lot of times people
-
fishing. They either have rods or some
-
have Nets and they're casting those Nets.
-
Not this big though, casting their Nets off the side of the
-
Matanzas Bridge. All right, why they have to
-
many, I've never, I've only seen maybe 2 where somebody's pulling
-
something up. I'm like, do these people catch
-
anything? Because it's not like I'm always
-
seeing people reel and stuff in. But again, you have no hope of
-
catching unless you go labor. So laboring, even when you don't
-
catch, doesn't mean it's in vain.
-
I'm going to say that again, laboring, although you may not
-
catch, doesn't mean it's in vain because you must put forth the
-
opportunity to labor. Hallelujah.
-
All right, all the Nets, we're being cleaned at this time when
-
Jesus shows up in preparation for the next scheduled time for
-
labor. So in essence, we've done,
-
obviously it's outside the window of catching.
-
These are professional fishermen.
-
Now, again, they're not. They've already done a time
-
period. They're exhausted, they have
-
grown weary in their, well doing, so to speak, and have
-
caught nothing. So they're going to clean up and
-
we're going to come back at the next appointed time.
-
We're going to get some rest and go after again.
-
Just because they didn't catch didn't mean they quit.
-
It just means they prepare for the next time.
-
Amen. So everything is clean.
-
Both the boats are on the shore both of them because here's the
-
thing, there can be a time of Labor that can be routine.
-
There's schedule to a particular time of of of Labor.
-
So Jesus says, Simon, can I use your boat?
-
I need to do some teaching. And so he launched him out.
-
Now the the other Gospels account this particular
-
communicate this particular account would simply Jesus
-
coming by find us. Some disciples say follow me and
-
I'll make you fishers or men that said they immediately
-
dropped their Nets and came and that's all it gives you.
-
It didn't give you the back story that Jesus came and taught
-
and that then Jesus was a part of a fishing trip.
-
You just get he's walking by. He says come and be fishers or
-
men. They dropped everything.
-
Now you're going to know why they dropped everything.
-
Now you're going to know why because it wasn't him just
-
walking by and like, he's this guy.
-
So he is speaking to the multitude.
-
Now imagine Jesus is seated in the boat.
-
You're the multitude. I'm a little bit out in the
-
water. Jesus is seated and then he's
-
finished and he says, Peter, let's go launch out in the deep
-
and cast your Nets. Now the Nets are not in the
-
boat, they're on the shore. They're cleaned in preparation
-
for the next day. So everything he just did, the
-
Lord saying put it back in the boat.
-
Jesus doesn't get out of the boat.
-
Jesus is in the boat as they launch out.
-
OK, Jesus was a part of the expedition.
-
He said launch out into the deep and let down your neck.
-
And so Peter explains as he's loading the Nets.
-
Now Lord Master, we have labored all night and didn't catch
-
anything, but at your word we going to do it.
-
So he's seated in and Peter and Andrew launch out.
-
Now they only have the Nets assigned to Peter's boat.
-
They only have the Nets assigned to Peter's boat.
-
And so they let down the Nets and guess what happens?
-
Well, we just read it because Jesus operating in the dominion,
-
the first Adam had, which is dominion over the fish has
-
communicated through his words. Go put down your net for catch.
-
The fish now are going to obey the king and they for the last
-
maybe 12 hours avoided not only Peter's Nets, but their partners
-
Nets while they went around dragging those Nets all night
-
long, was able to evade them. But he could put those Nets down
-
now. And the Lord sent add a word
-
filled up that boat's Nets. Now here's the thing.
-
When he begins to pull this bad boy in, it is so heavy with the
-
number of fish that it begins to reach its capacity.
-
They begin, they, they break, they start breaking.
-
As you know, I understand when, when you start to pull the stuff
-
out of the water, all of a sudden gravity kicks in.
-
You know, you pick up some things heavy underwater, but the
-
minute starts getting to air, then the weight shows up.
-
I was watching an excavation, or it's probably not the right
-
term, that they were salvaging a, a tugboat that had sunk.
-
And so, you know, they got these air bladders in there and
-
they're going to pull it to the surface.
-
Now what they were having to do is they had to determine what
-
its weight was because they said the closer we get to the once it
-
starts getting out, all of a sudden its weight will kick in.
-
And if the crane cannot hold the IT a break.
-
This happened with another sailboat that went down in a
-
hurricane. Same issue.
-
They brought brought it in, had floated it to the surface.
-
They had a crane that was rated for £8000 to pull it out onto
-
the shore, but it was still full of water and when it went to
-
grab it, it was 12,000 lbs. The crane could not pull it so
-
they had to run down to a store, get pumps, get all the water
-
pumped out of it to reduce that weight.
-
Yet when it was down it was. And so you understand when
-
they're pulling the fish seems but then once they got it to
-
here, the Nets cannot support the weight.
-
At this point, they have to yell back to the shore and what do
-
they do? James and John, get your boat
-
out here. They had to call their partner
-
in. I said they had to call their
-
partner in. Now a partner doesn't say I'm
-
already cleaned up, not coming. Are you hearing me?
-
I mean, you understand partnership is in this
-
particular business of fishing. We're partnering.
-
We have more than one boat, which allows us to get more fish
-
so that we can sell more and provide for our family and our
-
community. And that's why they had the
-
boats. When one gets out, the other one
-
is going to partner and come. Why?
-
Because this is the purpose. The purpose is not when it's
-
convenient. The purpose is to accomplish the
-
task. And so he calls out to the other
-
boat and says, come on, we have so many we we can't pull them
-
in. So they have to take the time to
-
come in and get beside. And then they start unloading
-
the fish in both boats. Now notice all night they had
-
their own sets of Nets. Now all of a sudden Peter's Nets
-
has enough fish in it that not only does it fill his boat, but
-
it fills their boat. They had less equipment but
-
caught more fish. God was able to multiply the
-
amount within the Nets that all the Nets they had were required
-
to be able to do the same thing in the one.
-
And they've developed so many fish that it put a strain on
-
their own boats that they couldn't handle the weight.
-
It says they began to sink, which means they were taking on
-
water, which means now we have so many fish in here, if we do
-
not get to land, we're going to sink and lose what we have.
-
Are you hearing me? So you can sit that down now,
-
gentlemen, Thank you. So what do we learn from this?
-
Let me give you the word of the Lord for real quick.
-
When I was new, I was going to minister on this today as I was
-
driving. I don't remember where I was
-
coming from yesterday, but it came up in my spirit and I heard
-
the Lord say this. He says what you have done so
-
far will seem like your work has had no results compared to the
-
catch you will pull in together in these final days.
-
I heard this fair Lord say that. He said what you have done so
-
far will seem like your work has had no results compared to the
-
catch you will pull in together in these final days.
-
Hallelujah. Do you understand when you want
-
God's involvement in the catch? It doesn't matter how much we
-
plan, we're never going to be able to handle the capacity.
-
Does God know how much weight the boats can handle?
-
Does God know how much the Nets can handle?
-
Yet He still let Nets break, and he still let the boat begin to
-
sink. Now, it didn't immediately sink.
-
I understand that he knew enough that you know what, this is
-
really beyond what you have prepared for.
-
So that tells me this, with as much preparation as we do, when
-
God shows up, it's always exceeds our preparation.
-
Amen. And you understand it'd just get
-
a little crowded. So let me help everyone that is
-
my age or older. I want you to get a new
-
confession of our community, a new confession.
-
And that I understand we have congestion.
-
I understand a lot of people have moved in, but the catch is
-
big. Do you understand what's so
-
awesome is that their territory, their seas there, they have to
-
go out and they have to do something.
-
Notice God did not say, well, I'm going to bring the fish come
-
and they just started flying out of the water and jumping on the
-
shore. That didn't happen.
-
Could it have happened? Sure.
-
All things are possible with God.
-
Could he command the fish to come?
-
Sure, He could have done that and they could have come and
-
just jumped on the shore. Absolutely.
-
However, what is God showing? He says it's not about me doing
-
it. We have such this mindset of God
-
only when the Lord's like. I love your participation.
-
God gets pleasure at his children being involved with in
-
the family business. He gets great joy when he can
-
give you credit for your part. How do we know this?
-
Because when Gideon is going to overcome a nation with 300 men,
-
he sends him down to the camp and he says, hear what they
-
saying. He could have if it's only about
-
him. He could have heard them say the
-
Lord has taken the camp a lot and they never would have known
-
Gideon's name, but he let them know the name of Gideon.
-
Because God rejoices to say your name when you are only wanting
-
to do what He says. Amen.
-
He rejoices that you represent him clearly.
-
He's proud to call you his partner.
-
He loves to be able to put on the front of the building your
-
name with his in Lord. He wants people to know that you
-
are a part of the process, although it's not you doing it
-
yourself, but it's your partnership with him that caused
-
it to come to pass. He had no problem with them
-
knowing about a man named Moses. He had no problem with them
-
knowing about a woman named Esther.
-
He had no problem with them knowing about a man named King
-
David. Why?
-
Because all those people would always tell them about their
-
father Hallelujah, about his rule, his reign.
-
He loves the partnerships, he says.
-
Now listen, I'm going to use you, which will put you in a
-
vulnerable position sometime and even a sometimes seemingly life
-
threatening position. Because in this case the
-
blessing had a life threatening position, meaning they could
-
have lost it all. Now I'm assuming these guys
-
weren't so far out that they could have swam back to shore,
-
but I can't tell you that either.
-
The point is though is that their ships about to sink
-
because of the blessing of God, the partnership of God.
-
Because when we really partner at the word of our King, then
-
he's always going to bring it to more.
-
So again, we don't have to wait to build a sanctuary to get
-
more. We just need people to be
-
passionate like Brazil and be willing to sit on the floor.
-
That's it. Instead of saying it's too
-
crowded, our community is getting so crowded, so many
-
people. Well, let's turn that confession
-
to thank you, Lord. That was the partnership of
-
Anchor Faith Church with you. We're going to reap these
-
people. I mean, these people that are
-
cutting you off, these people that definitely need to have
-
their license revoked. I understand there was one from
-
Michigan yesterday. I'm like, Jesus, help poor, not
-
Pure Michigan, poor Michigan. I mean, we were coming back from
-
the airport from Brazil and, and in Miami, Ernie, you know, this
-
is true that there's four lanes of traffic and then you have two
-
lanes that are the express lanes.
-
And so they were in the lane next to the express lane, the
-
4th lane to the left, and there's an exit they decided
-
they wanted to get to. Now, we weren't technically
-
running 6570 miles an hour. You know, it was, you know,
-
traffic was pretty backed up, but this person basically did
-
this. No.
-
Yeah, they were actually. You're right.
-
Thank you for correcting that. Pastor Mars.
-
They were in the express lane, so all the pylons are there.
-
They drove in a little bitty, like, you know, small car.
-
I mean, a little one that came. Yeah.
-
Some kind of like a camera ran over the cones.
-
You're like, where's police officer when you need them cut
-
into the foreland and cut off and had to cut back in order to
-
get into the exit. I'm not going to lie, I had a
-
thought. I'm not going to lie.
-
I said, man, if I had a vehicle that had a bumper, the
-
temptation is really motivating me right now to help move them
-
along because you're like, what are you thinking?
-
That is the most self-centered move I've ever seen in my life.
-
That cares nothing for the safety of anyone else, nothing
-
for the safe. You miss an exit, Go on.
-
Please don't be the one that's going to pull over it and back
-
all the way. Don't do that.
-
Because if I find out it's you, we're going to have words.
-
We've trained you better here. God will bless.
-
There's a reason. Just go ahead and use that that
-
little you know Christianese well, the Lord had a reason for
-
me to miss it then and just go on to the next exit, turn around
-
and come back. Same in anyway all right.
-
So I believe the Lord wants to do more in these last days it
-
with us and our partnership together.
-
Look what it says in Luke 1620 and they went out and preached
-
everywhere and the Lord working with them and confirming the
-
word through the accompany signs.
-
Amen. Jesus Christ who sits on the
-
throne is not doing this alone. He's not doing this alone.
-
He has his church. Jesus needs us.
-
Look to your name and say Jesus needs you.
-
Never take the thought that you're not needed.
-
You're needed. You're needed.
-
Your partnership is needed. And I'm always amazed at the
-
caliber of of children that God has and their individual skill
-
sets that can bring such resource to the Kingdom of God.
-
It's amazing to me that there are those that are able to be at
-
a get into a trauma situation. Blood can be everywhere.
-
And they are the calm in the storm.
-
They're not the ones who's passing out, throwing up knees,
-
drive on. We need partners like that.
-
There are others, you know, not afraid of heights, can scale a
-
tree, cut off a limb, swing out, you know, with a rope, cut that
-
thing off and come back crazy. It can happen.
-
I mean, there's there's things that people, everyone who works
-
with the children, praise the Lord, Amen.
-
There's a skill set to be able to minister into their little
-
lives. Some of you, you're not there
-
and that's why you have no skill set, Amen.
-
The reason why we don't have men change the diapers is because
-
most of you gag, Hallelujah. And those are the funniest
-
videos. But He's working with us.
-
Matthew 937 to 38. Then he said to his disciples,
-
the harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are therefore
-
prayed, the Lord of the harvest, to send out laborers into the
-
harvest. Hallelujah.
-
You know what God wants to send us.
-
But here's the thing, you don't go out by yourself.
-
You're not alone. Meaning even if you're in a
-
workplace or you're in a store, you're by yourself.
-
You know that the work you're doing is not alone.
-
That you have a place to bring them back to.
-
A place they can connect. A place they can get decipher
-
the place they'll be loved. A place that they can receive
-
the word rightly divided. A place where they can be
-
nurtured and cared for, but ultimately have their gifts
-
released and the ability for them to thrive in the Kingdom of
-
God. We're not alone where miracles,
-
signs and wonders where you can be diagnosed with scoliosis, but
-
at the word of the King, your spine is made straight
-
Hallelujah. And miracle after miracle and
-
testimony after testimony takes place.
-
And how much more should we be the church that is passionate
-
about the things of God. Amen.
-
So I'm going to leave us with this verse here because it
-
helped me kind of go into next week what I really want to be
-
able to minister for the next few Sundays.
-
And it says this in First Thessalonians 512 to 13.
-
He says we beseech you brethren to know them, which labor among
-
you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you.
-
We need to know those who labor among us.
-
We are to recognize those, which means I should not know you and
-
I shouldn't. I should know what it is that
-
you are bringing to the table in the partnership because in the
-
church you're not an employee, you're a partner.
-
To have membership is partnership, which means you
-
have a stake in this thing and God needs you to bring your
-
gift. It is necessary.
-
It is necessary and you know, we're adding to the team all the
-
time and you understand people that are being added to the
-
team, you're having to renew their minds to this team to how
-
we're doing things. You know what, we may not be
-
like that team over there or that team there.
-
I mean, God's called those teams to do their work.
-
We're called to do ours. I'm not here to assimilate to a
-
different style. I'm here to do what God's asked
-
us to do. And you know what he's going to
-
send people that can be released in their gifts and do some
-
amazing things. So you want to know those who
-
labor among you. You don't want to be the, the,
-
the partner of anchor faith that comes in, goes out and no one
-
knows anything about you. That's good.
-
Good. Because the reality is we are
-
in. We are victors that are having
-
to occupy in an earth where an enemy is still trying to kill,
-
steal and destroy. And I want to know you well
-
enough that if a scheme of the devil shows up, I know you've
-
got my back and you'll know I have yours.
-
Because as an ex soldier, I do not want to be in a foxhole with
-
someone who's going to abandon their post when the when the
-
fire comes down range. I want to know that you are
-
going to stay in the fight. And here's the thing.
-
At risk of seeming like we're going to die, Yeah, though we
-
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we're going to
-
fear no evil. We going to ultimately win this
-
fight anyway because Christ has already won.
-
We're just defending the ground he has already given us.
-
In fact, we are the ones who'll continue to take more territory.
-
We're not in a defensive posture.
-
We're the one on the offensive. We're the one who's going into
-
the enemy's territory and we're taking the prisoners of war that
-
he has and and releasing the captives and getting them over
-
into the Kingdom and they're going to fight on our side.
-
Hallelujah. So we want to know those who
-
labor among us and those that are over you in the Lord.
-
You want to admonish verse 13 and to esteem them very highly
-
in love for their work's sake and for the P and be at peace
-
among yourselves. So you understand, in any
-
partnership, there are those that are going to manage certain
-
aspects so that the whole organization can move forward.
-
And they've been given that opportunity because God has put
-
them in those positions of responsibility.
-
And for those that are laboring well among you, you want to
-
steam and say, you know what? Look how they're laboring.
-
Look how they're staying with it.
-
Look how they're staying in faith.
-
Look how their life is modeling that.
-
Look how they're doing it. Not let me find a crack in their
-
stuff and see if I can't figure. No thankful Lord, look how they
-
overcome. Look how they have, because
-
again, if if a round gets through and they fall, I'm going
-
to go in there and to gird them. And then among ourselves, we're
-
at peace with each other. Why?
-
Because we're in one goal, 1 spirit, 1 faith, one God, one
-
purpose, one thing. We're moving towards the upward
-
call of God for all of our lives in this vision called Anchor
-
Faith Church. And it's not just in this
-
community. It is gone globally now.
-
And all of those congregations are united in one purpose, to
-
pull in a catch that this end time has not yet seen.
