Hey, hey, hey, hey, man.
-
If you have your Bibles, turn over to 1st Corinthians chapter
-
2, First Corinthians chapter 2, later to the service, we're
1 Corinthians 2 chapter mention
-
going to be taking care of some water baptism.
-
We're going to be rejoicing with people who have given their
-
lives to Jesus and are publicly displaying in front of you that
-
they have died and that they no longer live for themselves and
-
the life they live now. They live resurrected for
-
Christ, Amen. And they're going to follow his
-
his will for their lives as long as they remain in the earth,
-
Amen. And so you don't want to check
-
out early, OK, don't be like a football game and leave the
-
stands early because you know, you want to get your vehicle and
-
go. Amen, I said.
-
Amen. In fact, I was talking to Kenny
-
Robshaw the other day. He end up going to the Gator
-
Kentucky game. It's a little bit close.
-
They weren't doing anything significant.
-
So they said we left early, they left in the fourth quarter to
-
come home. Well, Florida end up putting up
-
three touchdowns. So they ended up, you know,
-
showing out in the fourth quarter.
-
He said we missed the whole game.
-
Well, you know, a lot of times you can miss some moves of the
-
spirit if you get out early. You just need to hang out.
-
Amen. And it'll be worth it.
-
So you want to be able to celebrate with those that have
-
done water baptism in first Corinthians chapter 2 verse 12,
-
it says this praise the Lord y'all doing all right?
-
Do we need to do a little practice today?
-
Because you understand I love us to have passion for the Lord.
-
Nothing in the world should demonstrate more passion than
-
us. And passion a lot of times is
-
articulated in your voice right now.
-
A couple nights ago, it's the bottom of the 10th 2 hour space
-
had loaded. And Freedman for the Dodgers
-
gets up first pitch, he hits it. And when he hits it, he knows.
-
He knew. And he just raises his bat up.
-
That place went pandemonium. I mean, there was not a male in
-
the stands that looked like this.
-
Wow, the only ones if they were wearing the Yankees now, that
-
may be true. That may be true.
-
They might have been like, because that's what defeat
-
looked like, right? But for those who were rooting
-
for their team, there was not a man that did not come to their.
-
Feet. Throw up their hands and shout
-
with great enthusiasm. That means they went from a kind
-
of quiet, just watching with anticipation, to exuberant.
-
Do you understand you can have a shout of praise in a fraction of
-
a second that the minute you get a revelation from the word, it
-
should? Glory to God.
-
I mean, you should be able to just jump to your feet.
-
Come on. Did we want to practice it right
-
now? Let's just think about, did
-
Jesus die for you? Did Jesus die for you?
-
Was he ripped? Was he raised from the dead?
-
Did he give you power with the Holy Ghost?
-
Glory to God. Hallelujah.
-
So don't come to this place wanting me to lecture to you.
-
I am not at a university. I am not here to lecture you.
-
I'm here to participate with you, to celebrate our King,
-
whose Kingdom has no end. Glory to God.
-
So I give you permission at any time to get excited about your
-
King. Amen.
-
Because in these stadiums, they are not at.
-
Would you mind if I get up and shout right now?
-
Would it offends you if I get excited and danced a little bit
-
right now? You know what?
-
Nobody in this room is going to get upset if you jump, run,
-
shout. Doesn't matter.
-
Because when you're passionate for your King, however that
-
manifests. Praise the Lord, Amen.
-
Praise God. Amen.
-
First Corinthians chapter 12 verse.
1 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
Our chapter 2 verse 12 says this.
-
Now we have received not the spirit of the world.
-
But the Spirit who is from God, glory to God, we have received
-
the Spirit who? Is from God.
-
Second Timothy 17 says this. The King James says, But God
-
hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of what power and of
-
love and of sound mind we do not have the spirit of the world.
-
The spirit of the world is the spirit of fear, a spirit of.
-
Doom and gloom, a spirit of you don't know what you're going to
-
get, how is it going to happen? And they speak out of fear, They
-
speak out of doom. They're always trying to get you
-
to worry. It's the sound of the spirit
-
fear, but God's not giving us that spirit.
-
That's not the sound that we hear.
-
The sound of the spirit we have is power.
-
It's a conquering spirit. It's a rain.
-
It is the reigning spirit. It is the spirit that overcomes
-
every obstacle. It is the.
-
Spirit that is not moved in any way, it can maintain its love,
-
walk and it's always sound in mind, which means it's the
-
spirit we have from God does not is not anxious one bit.
-
The spirit we've been given does not wring its hands in concern.
-
It's not fretful. It's not he's not fretful.
-
He's not fearful. He's not concerned.
-
He's not worried, no. He knows exactly what's going on
-
and he is the one with full authority.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. First John 44 says this.
-
You are from God. Are you born again?
-
Are you from God? You are from God, little
-
children, and have overcome them because greater, come on, say
-
greater, say greater. Greater is he who is in.
-
You than he who is in the world. Glory to God, we have the
-
greater 1. And if you.
-
Have the greater 1 then what can the world do to you?
-
What? Can the world?
-
Do to you religion would like to tell you that the whole basis of
-
faith is uncertainty that we can't be.
-
Sure, because if you were sure, what would you have anything to
-
have faith for? This is how religion defines
-
believing God. We don't know, and that's why we
-
believe Him, because there's so much uncertainty.
-
But the Bible does not define faith that way.
-
The Bible defines faith this way.
-
Faith comes by hearing and hearing from the word of God,
-
and God always does his word. Faith is what's called a firm
-
persuasion. In fact, the Bible tells us in
-
Romans 4 that Abraham grew strong in faith not because he
-
was uncertain of whether God would do what he said.
-
But no, he was. Firmly persuaded, it was certain
-
it's going to happen. It has to happen.
-
God never goes back on His Word, and that was confidence.
-
That He exhibited, you understand, when you have the
-
reigning spirit in you and upon you, you will have a bold
-
confidence about you. Listen, the Bible tells us to
-
boldly go before the throne of great, not beggardly, not
-
sheepishly, not with uncertainty, but boldly.
-
And then He says this in John 1/5.
-
He says This is the confidence that we have, not uncertainty.
-
Not for sure. Oh, I sure hope it is.
-
No, he said. This is the confidence that we
-
have, that if we ask anything, according to his will, we.
-
What's the next word? No, not we, ma'am.
-
That's why we're just trusting God, because we don't know
-
what's going to have. That's not what it said.
-
We know that we have that which we have asked for.
-
Why? Because when you ask God to do
-
what he said He would do, God's obligated to do what?
-
He's going to do. And again, the confidence that
-
and bonus that you portray when you say no, God said it, this is
-
the way it is. That settles it.
-
I'm not going to think any other direction.
-
I'm not going to accept any other alternative or outcome.
-
I'm only going to do it the way God says.
-
When that occurs, your faith is in His ability to do His Word,
-
not you doing His Word. He is obligated to make sure His
-
word comes to pass. You are obligated to trust it
-
confidently. Amen.
-
So we've been given a greater spirit.
-
We have the Great Spirit, the spirit that reigns.
-
You understand, this year for us is the reigning spirit we've
-
been talking about the spirit that reigns within us, the
-
spirit that we have, which is the Holy Ghost.
-
He's never been defeated. He cannot be conquered.
-
He overcomes every other spirit, every other spirit.
-
With that being said, you know what first Corinthians 619 says?
-
You know, I love Scripture here because again, we're not here to
-
preach opinions. We're here to communicate.
-
What does the Bible say? He says.
-
Or do you not know that your body now that's not church body?
-
This is the church Bob. We're not talking we're talking
-
right here go ahead and touch yourself.
-
This is you, your body. Don't you know that your body is
-
the temple of the Holy Spirit? So people like man, where's God?
-
We'll. Look in the mirror.
-
He's in you, I said. He's in you now you say, well, I
-
don't feel him. That's irrelevant.
-
Feeling Him is irrelevant. You should just know He's there
-
and he is there. That means and he is the third
-
person of the Godhead, which means He wants and will talk to
-
you. In fact, He is the only voice he
-
wants you to hear though. Or do you not know that your
-
body is the temple of the Holy Spirit?
-
Who is what in you whom you have from and that spirit we have
-
from God is not a spirit of fear.
-
It's not the spirit of this world.
-
No, it's from God. It is light, love, power, the
-
mind sound because I only do what God says Amen and that you
-
are what not your own. Why does?
-
He say that he says quit trying. To think of what you should do,
-
do what he does. You're not your own, which means
-
when you made Jesus Lord. Lord is not a religious word.
-
It means supreme and authority. When you bowed your.
-
Will. To the will of God.
-
When you submitted yourself to King Jesus because of His death,
-
burial, and resurrection, He paid the price for your
-
transgression in your sin. You say I give up my way of
-
doing for your way because I've tried it my way and it's filthy
-
rags. I cannot be pleasing to you, nor
-
can I be restored to you in the realm of the Spirit.
-
But when you make Jesus Lord supreme in authority, you're
-
saying no longer will I consult me.
-
No longer will I limit decisions to my spirit, but I will yield
-
to your spirit because I house the Holy Ghost.
-
Can I get an Amen? John chapter 14 verse 16 and 17
-
says it this way. Jesus said now Jesus says this,
-
this is your Savior. Jesus said I will ask the Father
-
and he will what? Give you another helper?
-
In essence, if you break that down to the Greek, that means
-
he's going to give you someone just like me, OK, And that he
-
may be with you. So don't ever wake up, say,
-
where's the Holy Ghost because he's not left if there's a.
-
Leaving. It's not on the Spirit side,
-
it'll be on AU side. And next month I'm going to
-
minister on a Wednesday night concerning the blasphemy of the
-
Holy Ghost. I'm going to minister that and
-
I'll give you plenty of time so you'll know be one service.
-
But I want you to understand what blasphemy of the Holy
-
Spirit is, OK? So here He'll be with you
-
forever. Verse 17.
-
That is the spirit of the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot
-
receive, because it does not see Him nor know him.
-
But you know him. Why?
-
Because he abides with you and. In you we have received the
-
reigning Spirit. Hallelujah, I said.
-
We have received the reigning Spirit.
-
We have the third person of the Godhead living in US, speaking
-
to our Spirit and then coming upon us to indue us with power.
-
That gives us access to the gifts of the Spirit and to a
-
language that allows us to pray in a way when we don't know how
-
we ought to pray. We receive the language of the
-
Kingdom. The Bible calls it an unknown
-
tongue. Because again, if I brought some
-
people up on the platform now that speaks Spanish or German or
-
Albanian or Greek, most of you wouldn't understand them either.
-
It would be a unknown tongue to you because you couldn't
-
translate it. You would have no idea what
-
they're saying, but you sure wouldn't call it demonic.
-
That's right. Well, God made tongues.
-
So it's easy then for him to give us a language as a result
-
of an overflow of power because he said, man, sometimes you
-
don't know how you ought to pray.
-
And at the end of the day, I want you to speak in a language
-
that even the devil doesn't understand.
-
Amen. Hallelujah.
-
I mean again. How do we?
-
Figure out that we are a brand new spirit once we ask Jesus to
-
be our Lord. You can't even, you can't figure
-
that out. I mean, it's like all I know is
-
I was dead. Guilt, shame, I knew it.
-
But God, when I confessed him as Lord, something on the inside
-
happened. I know it.
-
You can't explain there's. But you know, you believe, you
-
can tell I'm a different person. People like I don't.
-
You look the same. You're wearing the same clothes,
-
you have the same haircut. Nothing about you looks
-
different to me. No, I'm different.
-
We understand. Does it matter that you can pray
-
in tongues and not always understand what you're saying?
-
By faith, you know that God said it's my will being prayed
-
through you, and I always do my will.
-
So I just trust him. Thank you Lord, you gave it to
-
me. I don't know how I ought to
-
pray. I'm just going to pray in the
-
spirit now, as the Spirit gives my spirit unction, I'm going to
-
release that. It is your will in the earth.
-
No one may understand it, I may not even understand in my mom,
-
but I know this. It comes from heaven.
-
It comes from. You and it has power, because
-
when the Word of God is spoken in any language, power is
-
available. Amen.
-
So he said he's going to send us a helper.
-
Now why do we need this helper? I want you to know that the
-
helper came to us, not just to tell our spirit, hey, when you
-
die. Which your spirits?
-
Not dying anyway. So it's really not having that
-
conversation, but for the sake of, you know, communication of
-
how people kind of live life. And that is, you know, when you
-
die, you'll go to heaven and be with me.
-
That's not why he gave you the. Spirit.
-
Does the Spirit testify with your spirit?
-
You're a child of God, Yes. Does it communicate you things
-
to come? And that is this mortal body is
-
going to come off. You're going to have a glorified
-
body. You're going to be with the Lord
-
forever. And wherever he is, I'm going to
-
be with him. And he does testify of that, but
-
he's a helper. And his help is not just to
-
navigate while we're in the earth that it's all right.
-
When you die, you're going to heaven.
-
That is not what he's helping to keep you in remembrance.
-
It's OK. I know how bad it's getting.
-
But you're going to heaven when you die.
-
That is not why he's helping you.
-
That's not why he's helping you. No, he's helping you for other
-
reasons. And the reason why he's helping
-
you, First Timothy chapter 4, verse one, the number one reason
1 Timothy 4 chapter mention
-
why he is there to help you is this.
-
But the spirit that is the Holy Spirit explicitly says that in
-
latter times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention
-
to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons to deceitful
-
what spirits? One translation says seducing
-
spirits. Which tells us, and again, I
-
love the Bible when it capitalizes God because it's
-
letting us know that this is the reigning spirit, this is God
-
himself and but yet notice. There are other spirits and what
-
he's saying is, is that the spirit says that's the Holy
-
Spirit, it's talking, but he's not the only one talking.
-
Now he is the reigning spirit that we should only give
-
attention to. But he lets you know there will
-
be other voices that are coming and it's happens the minute
-
you're born again. It will just accelerate and be
-
even more dominant in the latter times.
-
Now, let's just look at it from a natural perspective.
-
Why would this be? Do you understand when the
-
apostle? Well, let's keep, let's go back
-
even sooner than this. I'm trying to think of who
-
Pastor Rick Hutchinson, who's going to be planting an actrate
-
church in the Dominican Republic, was just talking to me
-
about the missionary who went and evangelized China.
-
Do you remember? That guy off the top of your
-
head, Hudson Taylor. Hudson.
-
I think that's who it is. Hudson Taylor.
-
Thank you. Thank you, Holy Ghost, and thank
-
you for getting it right. OK, with that being said, he
-
went in to didn't know the language at all, OK.
-
When he would report back his work and this was just I mean
-
few 100 years ago, few 100 years ago, he would write a letter
-
back home. It would take him a year to get
-
the response to his letter. A year.
-
This is just a couple 100 years ago, you understand, at the turn
-
of the 1900s letters Telegraph these things were dominant.
-
Then finally we get into a thing called telephone, which means we
-
could start hearing things more. Often then they developed this
-
thing called radio, which means then we could hear voices more
-
often. Then we got into a thing called
-
television, which allowed us to hear voices with images.
-
Now then we have now the Internet and now we have phones
-
that we carry around what you understand.
-
We have access to the voices 24/7 now, which not too long
-
ago, really less than 200 years that in order to hear another
-
voice, you either had to be around someone or wait for the
-
communication through a letter to show up.
-
So again, if you wrote someone and says, hey, you know, this is
-
what I'm doing in that person life.
-
This is stupid. You shouldn't do it for them to
-
write you back and tell you how how much of an idiot you are and
-
degrade you and it would take some time.
-
Unlike now, you text. Hey, the Lords call me.
-
You're an idiot. How fast is the other spirits?
-
Talking. Come on now.
-
So that's why I say now in the latter times, when information
-
increases, when the in essence the enemy has a megaphone and
-
multiple sources to talk to you, all the more that you need to
-
fine tune your hearing to the reigning spirit.
-
I said to the reigning spirit, Amen.
-
And so the spirit explicitly says in latter times, some will
-
fall away from the faith. And the reason why it's not
-
because seducing spirits and doctrines of demons are talking,
-
but it's because they're paying attention to them.
-
Whatever you pay attention to, you begin to conform to.
-
All right, young people, This is why you know when your parents
-
say, hey, listen, I want you to read the Bible, pray, what are
-
they doing? They want you to start paying
-
attention to life, not because you're trying to get you in a
-
religious exercise, because they already know based upon your
-
phone, you're hearing a lot of voices.
-
And if you keep paying attention to TikTok and paying attention
-
to Snapchat and paying attention to Instagram and paying
-
attention to whatever else is out there and every YouTube
-
video, well, guess what? That will begin to get into your
-
mindset and there's a barrage of things talking.
-
And here's the thing, the enemy does not just come out again.
-
It's called seducing, which means it touches somewhere you
-
already feel and you can identify.
-
In essence, it comes to you and you're like, well, you kind of
-
feel like me. You're kind of seeing it like
-
I'm kind of seeing it then you know, we've said this at Anchor
-
Bay Church. We have said in the beginning
-
was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word.
-
Then verse 14th of John one says and the word became so God is
-
the author of words. He's the only one who has a
-
right to define them. And the prophets of old in the
-
Old covenant prophesied this. And I don't remember which
-
prophet it was. So if you know, just yell at me
-
and I'll receive it. But a prophet said there would
-
come a time when they'll call what's good evil and what's evil
-
good, right? Maybe it was Isaiah.
-
OK as the. Which means then there's going
-
to come a there's going to be spirits that are talking to
-
humans and they're going to start saying, now I know we used
-
to call that evil, but you know, it's really good and we should
-
check calls. Love accepts everybody.
-
Love's very accepting of every. Love's so tolerant.
-
Love's this, that and the other. So we redefine love.
-
We. Redefine, you know, morality.
-
We need to coexist. We need to all get along and
-
believe what we want to believe. Yet if you go to scripture, the
-
Lord says no, I am the way, so it's my way.
-
I am the life, so outside of me it's death.
-
Because there's a way that seems right to a man, the Scripture
-
says, but in the end lies. So they'll present.
-
There's a way that seems right. And unless you have been tuned
-
to know how the Holy Spirit, the reigning Spirit you have,
-
converses. Then it's easy to say, you know,
-
I never, I never looked at it that way.
-
I've never looked at it that way.
-
But when you know how the Spirit speaks, then you'll say, now
-
that's a law. Look at First John 4.
-
One, it says this beloved, why are we?
-
Why do we have the helper? Beloved, do not believe, say, do
-
not, do not believe every spirit.
-
But test the. Spirits to see whether they are
-
from God, because many, not a few, many false prophets have
-
gone out. Into the world.
-
And let me just say this a false prophet.
-
Doesn't have to have a relationship with God because by
-
all rights a prophet is one who's heralding a message saying
-
from God. And it may not.
-
They may not even be connected to God.
-
However, there can be those who are.
-
Born of God and have heard God correctly at a time, but because
-
they haven't maintained a relationship and be and for
-
other reasons can begin to speak.
-
In a way that is not from God, because even evil spirits can
-
communicate a truth. I'll give you an example.
-
You know as well as I do. In the book of Acts, Paul was in
-
a particular community, and as he was in that community, a
-
girl, a young girl who was a slave to two men, used her to do
-
fortune telling. In essence, she was possessed by
-
a evil spirit. And this spirit is what the
-
Bible calls a familiar spirit. We're going to talk more about
-
these at a later date. But this familiar spirit and a
-
familiar spirit, how does it function?
-
It it leaves the individual because it's a spirit and it
-
goes and it can follow Jesse, it can follow Lord leave, it can
-
follow Joe, right? And it can see what you've been
-
doing on any given day, what you were wearing, where house you
-
went to. Now it's not omnipresent.
-
It has to go with you, has to be, has to move in a way to
-
survey you. Then it goes back to the vessel
-
that it possesses. And so that that girl could have
-
gone by Joe in the streets and say, yesterday you were at Home
-
Depot aisle 13 picking up this and it would be true.
-
Now you say, how do you know that?
-
Because the Spirit said concerning Paul, this man speaks
-
concerning things of God. And that was true because he was
-
representing the Kingdom. And this familiar spirit spoke
-
accurately of who Paul was openly for three days.
-
But Paul getting aggravated by it and it was probably by the
-
spirit and I'll tell you why here in a minute.
-
He turns, rebukes the spirit out of the girl.
-
It leaves her and now she had she's no longer the vessel by
-
which this spirit can function. Now the rich, the the guys that
-
owned her realized we just lost our business.
-
Are you hearing me? You say now why did Paul do
-
this? Because if Paul had not rebuked
-
that devil out of that girl after he established the church
-
in that community and had left, that spirit could start talking
-
and saying, wasn't I right about Paul?
-
Wasn't I right about what he did?
-
Wasn't I right about when I listened to me?
-
But by rebuking. That it showed that Paul had the
-
reigning spirit, that that was actually a demonic spirit
-
speaking truth, but it wasn't from it wasn't from God.
-
Are you hearing me? Oh, this is good.
-
You understand how many believers, if we don't watch
-
out, we can get caught up in those things when people try to
-
give you these analogy. Well, now if you had a child.
-
That was kidnapped and a fortune teller says they knew it.
-
You wouldn't go to them. I don't have to go to a second.
-
A low class demonic spirit. And find out about my child,
-
because God's not going to let some low class demonic spirit
-
get glory for knowing where my child is.
-
The Holy Ghost will tell me himself.
-
Amen. We never reduce principle.
-
Amen. The only thing we should do is
-
rebuke it out of that person. And we'd have already known
-
because the Holy Ghost tells us so.
-
The highlight Ghost tells us we rebuke it out of the thing and
-
clean up the community and rescue our child.
-
Hallelujah, because you're inferring that God's not going
-
to tell you something, but demons will.
-
Demons don't love me. Demons don't love you.
-
They don't love you. No.
-
They come from the side that wants to kill, steal and
-
destroy. Hallelujah.
-
And that's. How seducing comes it is to
-
offer you things. That's what the devil did to
-
Jesus. He was trying to seduce him in
-
the temptations. Come on, let me take you to a
-
high pinnacle. Look, Look at all these
-
kingdoms. That's what you're here for
-
anyway, right? I know you're coming for the
-
dominion. All this the Luke account of the
-
temptation of Jesus. He said all these kingdoms,
-
these domains I'll give to you for they have been handed over
-
to me. Where did he get that dominion
-
from? You know, Anchor Faith Church
-
here in Saint Augustine, but we may have some guests today.
-
They don't know they he received it from Adam.
-
For God said let us make man in our image according to our
-
likeness and let them have rule or dominion.
-
Adam was the God of this world, as God is the God of heaven.
-
He gave the earth to man, and they would converse, and he
-
would always function under the authority of his Father who was
-
in heaven. But when the devil seduced and
-
deceived Eve, then she turned and gave the fruit to Adam, the
-
fruit he was never to eat. That God never wanted him to
-
eat. That God put in the garden to
-
prove that he loved him. It was Adam's proof every day.
-
I love God because I obey His Word.
-
He said the day you eat the fruit of the tree of the
-
knowledge of good and evil, you'll die.
-
And then when he ate, he rebelled and he turned over the
-
dominion. That's why 2nd Corinthians 4
-
four calls the devil the God of this world.
-
Now that's not planet Earth. It is the systems, it's the
-
rulership. It's the way this planets
-
function. And the devil has killed this
-
planet. He has brought death and
-
destruction to this planet through one man's transgression.
-
Sin has entered the world. And the devil has been
-
propagating this these lies forever.
-
Amen. So here he is.
-
He says, come on, Jesus, I'll give it to you.
-
You want Adam's dominion, don't you?
-
I'll give it to you. But this is what it cost you.
-
Just bow down. And do what I say.
-
And Jesus said I will worship the Lord my God and him alone,
-
because what he didn't know is that I'm taking it anyway.
-
I'm going to take it all and you're going to be left with
-
nothing. Hallelujah, I said.
-
Hallelujah. So we are to test every spirit
-
to see whether they are from God.
-
Because many false prophets have gone out of the world, we must
-
be able to determine what the voice determine, the voice of
-
the Spirit in these last days. That's for us to determine.
-
Well, how do we do this? God tells us how the reigning
-
Spirit in US speaks. He tells us He's very clear in
-
John chapter 14 verse 21. John chapter 14 verse 20 He
-
says, but the helper, who is the helper?
-
The Holy Spirit? What's he going to whom The
-
Father will send to my name. He will.
-
Teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I
-
that's Jesus said to you. So the Holy Spirit is only.
-
Speaking on behalf of Jesus. He doesn't speak on behalf of
-
any other party. He doesn't speak on any on
-
behalf of any other person. He only speaks on behalf of
-
Jesus. We can go over now to John
-
chapter 16, verse 13, and it says this.
-
But when he, the Spirit of truth comes, that's the Holy Spirit He
-
will guide you into. Now when I say, oh, he says all
-
truth, that's not just biblical truth, meaning what's true of
-
the Bible. Do you understand?
-
The Holy Ghost can tell you truth about what's going on in
-
government, what's going on in education, what's going on with
-
your neighbors. He can tell you.
-
He can say the truth is, you know, the Holy Spirit can say
-
the truth is they don't like you.
-
They're always talking nice to you, but they just want to use
-
you. They want to, they envy what you
-
have. They're just looking for a
-
reason. He can tell you those truths as
-
well. Amen.
-
He can do that. So it's not limited when we say
-
He'll guide you. All truth is just Bible truth.
-
It's just knowing from Genesis to Revelation what God's saying
-
in His Word. No, He can tell you those things
-
too. He can tell you whether the deal
-
somebody wants you to do is a good deal or not.
-
Well, the truth is, you probably shouldn't invest in that.
-
Or the truth is you. Should invest in that.
-
But it goes on to say this, It says he will not speak of his
-
own initiative, which means the Holy Spirit does not give you
-
his personal opinion, but whatever he hears, he will
-
speak, and he will disclose to you what is to come.
-
So the Holy Spirit will only communicate what he hears from
-
Jesus Christ the King, and Jesus is seated at the right hand of
-
the Father. Now why is this powerful?
-
Because we know Ecclesiastes 84 says where the word of the King
-
is, there is so you understand the Holy Ghost in you, the the
-
reigning spirit that you possess.
-
He has direct access. To the throne room in.
-
Heaven to the courts of Heaven to the throne of grace to the
-
word of the final authority. And He's going to communicate to
-
you exactly what the ruler of heaven and earth says concerning
-
this situation. That's powerful.
-
That means I'm never limited in any information necessary for me
-
to walk out my the plan and purpose God has for my life.
-
I'm never at a disadvantage because my King's word reigns
-
supreme. I said my King's word reigns
-
supreme. Why do we know this?
-
Look what it says in Isaiah 55 verse 8 and 9.
-
It says this for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are
-
my are your ways my ways. Says the Lord.
-
Again, this is in context to there's a way that seems right
-
to a man. But if you're only thinking on
-
your own, all right, go on. For as the heavens are higher
-
than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my
-
thoughts than your thoughts. Now that scripture never.
-
Was to be used as we can't know his thoughts or ways.
-
This scripture does not imply that he is just literally saying
-
don't depend on your ways and your thoughts alone because I am
-
supreme. My way is supreme, my thought is
-
supreme. And here's the good news, you
-
can have access to it. Look down to verse 11.
-
Why is this important? Because his ways and thoughts he
-
says, yes, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth.
-
It shall not return to me void without producing any effect or
-
useless, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose,
-
and it shall prosper in the thing which I sent it.
-
There's only one thing that causes the word of God void.
-
It is your unbelief. That means it's your rejection
-
of his way or thought concerning the situation you're in and you
-
take it as truth. Walk in confidence that what he
-
says he's able to perform. If you abandoned that then then
-
you. Hinder God from doing what he
-
wants to ultimately do in your life, but the word he says
-
nonetheless has the power to. Perform it.
-
Are you hearing me? Are you hearing me?
-
Which brings me to this thought concerning God.
-
Because God is supreme. Do you understand?
-
God will never stop you from doing what you want to do.
-
He does not violate your will, doesn't do it.
-
He can give you a thought so you'll change your thought.
-
He can give you a way so you'll change your way.
-
He'll communicate to you through people and through your own
-
spirit if you're born again of how He wants it done.
-
And if you resist it and choose not to, God cannot make you do
-
it. Cannot.
-
But if you ever try to take your will and your way, which is
-
directly opposed to God's will and His way, to the place that
-
it would hinder God's way and will, then he will intervene.
-
Now he doesn't intervene to change your mind, but he can
-
intervene to stop your course. The Tower of Babel is a great
-
example of this. The Tower of Babel was man's
-
will to do God or get to God or access things in the Spirit
-
outside of God. And when God said they're in one
-
mind 1 accord, they're in unity. I cannot change their will
-
concerning the direction they are going.
-
But because it's directly opposed to my will, my purpose,
-
then he changed their language and they were unable to do it.
-
God may not change your will, but he can't flatten your tire.
-
God may not change your will, but he can cause your weapon to
-
misfire. Are you hearing me?
-
I know a friend of ours that's in Nicaragua.
-
Him and his wife were attacked because his mother, the mother
-
of his wife, had her boyfriend hire people to try to kill them
-
or land and so they were attacked with machetes.
-
And one of the guys had a revolver, pointed it at him and
-
pulled the trigger multiple times but it never went off.
-
And though he had lost a lot of blood and she he was able to
-
pick her up, carry her over 2 kilometers down a mountain to a
-
hospital and they're alive today.
-
My point is, is that ultimately if man is trying to hinder
-
through their will, God's. Plan for you, he has a way.
-
To hinder those plans, Paul was actually killed.
-
I believe. The context where he said I know
-
a man in body or out of body, I do not.
-
Know is a result of when they drug him out of the city and
-
stoned him and they thought he was dead because he most likely
-
was, but when he went up. The Lord was like, I couldn't
-
change their will concerning you.
-
They acted in a way that I didn't want them.
-
But here's the thing, what the devil is meant for bad, God is
-
going to turn for good because I'm fixing to tell you some
-
things that you're not even going to be an express, but it's
-
going to empower your confidence in me so much even more than the
-
road to Damascus experience that you had with me.
-
When you know that you know that you heard that it was Jesus that
-
you were persecuting, that it was me that you were coming
-
against that empowered you to go share about my kingship.
-
Now that you've been in this realm, the 3rd heaven man, when
-
I put you back in that. Body he got in that body, he got
-
back up and went back into the same town of the people who had
-
drug him out and stoned him, talking about confidence.
-
No, this no weapon formed against the Church will prosper.
-
We may not be able to change the will of people, but ultimately,
-
if people's wills is to enact so that God's plan can't come to
-
pass, God will render it null and void.
-
He'll do things that we can't even comprehend.
-
This is why I'm not fretful or fearful concerning anything
-
going on in the world, because the Church is the powerhouse.
-
Of the planet, He said the church is the powerhouse of the
-
planet and you cannot eradicate the church because Jesus is
-
coming back for the church. So man, as much as he may plan,
-
scheme, legislate, pass laws to hinder the Church of Jesus
-
Christ, it cannot come to pass. God will always intervene
-
because he said I'm coming back for it, so it can't not be here
-
when I get here. Which is a double negative.
-
Please forgive me. But that being said, Isaiah 4523
-
says this. He said I have sworn by myself.
-
Now this is powerful. The word is gone out of my mouth
-
in righteousness, and shall not return that unto.
-
Me, every knee. Shall bow, and every tongue
-
shall swear allegiance. I want us to look at a few
-
scriptures here, he said. I've.
-
Sworn by myself, the word is going out of my mouth, and
-
writes in, and shall not return that unto me every knee shall
-
bow, and every tongue shall swear allegiance.
-
What's he saying? We'll look at Philippians
-
chapter 2, verse 10 and 11. Says it is so that at the name
-
of Jesus every knee will bow of those in heaven and on earth and
-
under the earth. There's no existence that's not
-
bowing to Jesus and that every tongue will confess that Jesus
-
Christ is Lord, which literally means supreme in authority.
-
Say supreme, say supreme. I'm not talking pizza here.
-
Supreme in authority. OK, Jesus is supreme in
-
authority to the glory of God. Now look at this next passage of
-
scripture in Hebrews chapter 6 verse 13 through 17.
-
I'm going to read out of a a pretty neat translation called
-
the Remedy translation. It says this.
-
When God made his promise to Abraham, there was no one
-
greater than himself to guarantee the promise, so he
-
guaranteed it himself. Now what are these scriptures?
-
Telling us when God speaks, there is.
-
No word higher. When God speaks, there is no
-
word higher. So man cannot redefine marriage
-
because God's. Word.
-
On it is supreme. There's nothing in any.
-
World government that can redefine and it be more supreme
-
than God's way. Do you understand when people
-
are talking to me about positions, whether it's
-
political, whether it's educational, whatever, it all
-
sums up to this. Whose word do you really want me
-
to believe? Do you want me to believe your
-
word that you didn't get on your own anyway?
-
Because most people have gotten it from someone else and someone
-
else is either somebody that has a degree somewhere that we've
-
deemed an expert. I don't care how many degrees
-
you have and how many people call you an expert.
-
You're not God. Now many.
-
Think they're gods, and they think their word is God, and
-
they think their word is final. And again, how do I know they're
-
of the Antichrist? Because they want to kill you
-
when you disagree. As a believer, I'm not going to
-
get upset if you disagree because I take the same position
-
of my king. You can believe whatever you
-
want to believe, but you're not convincing me of your position
-
if it's outside of his word. I don't have to get mad at you.
-
I have to get all upset at you. I can just say according to that
-
thinking, my king says, and it's not my job to persuade you, it's
-
my job just to communicate the truth of the king.
-
And I trust the Holy Ghost are going to talk to you way more
-
than I will, because the scripture tells me He will.
-
Because unless God draws someone, they can't be saved
-
anyway, so it's better for me to release.
-
Well, you know, the King says this.
-
Well, I don't believe that. You don't have to.
-
And you know what? He'll let you.
-
But the result of you not is this because that's what the
-
king says? Well, I don't believe that.
-
You don't have to believe that, but I'm just telling you this
-
what the king says. So at the end, we'll find out
-
who was right. You.
-
Are. Jesus.
-
I don't have to sweat one bit. I don't have to have a vein pop.
-
I don't have to come try to slap them.
-
Because here's the thing, God, if he was so concerned, he'd
-
take them out himself. In fact, it's his mercy that
-
leaves them. Come on, believers, it is an act
-
of mercy when you just release the truth and don't get
-
argumentative about the truth you have.
-
Don't be frustrated with them. Those that are lost, they can't
-
help it. Can't help it, but you
-
understand God, there was no one greater.
-
Let's go on, he said, saying, I will absolutely bless you and
-
give you a multitude of descendants.
-
And Abraham trusted God and patiently waited until he
-
received what was promised. Verse 16 says people will swear
-
by someone greater than themselves that what they say is
-
true, and the oath is supposed to guarantee that what they say
-
was true and put an end to any further dispute.
-
Isn't that powerful? So again, when someone tries to
-
give me a policy or position and they tell me a certain thing, I
-
can hear. But who's giving you that?
-
Who are you greater than you? Telling you that.
-
Because again, when I was in the as a former veteran or former
-
soldier, I am a veteran today, OK, As a former soldier, there
-
was a voice that had authority in my life, OK.
-
And that was not the actual voice, himself or herself, but
-
it was he, at the time anyway. The governor of the of the state
-
of Florida would issue orders to our unit that would be read by a
-
soldier within our unit. And it would usually start out
-
like this, attention to orders, which means then we would be in
-
formation at parade rest and they go attention to orders.
-
And then we get because someone with authority that we are to
-
honor and respect. That is higher than our
-
authority is talking, and for us it's the highest one because
-
it's the governor of the state of Florida.
-
I was in the Army National Guard, Attention, orders, boom.
-
Now everything spoken which is not by the governor himself, but
-
the one reciting what the governor has.
-
Written and has signed with his own name and has the seal of the
-
state of Florida pressed into the document that validates its
-
authority. And it begins to communicate to
-
us our next assignment, which means it doesn't say, well, if
-
you want to stay home with your wife, you can.
-
If you don't feel like coming, it's really up to you.
-
At the end of the day, you. Decide no, it was get you.
-
You're going to be packing up. You're going to be deployed
-
here. This is where you're going go
-
kiss your wife and kids goodbye. This is the duration of your
-
deployment. This is how this is going to
-
function. So again, didn't matter how much
-
my wife would cry and want to say stay home with me, which I
-
was never deployed. So I'm having to use, you know,
-
a little bit of a expanded thought process here.
-
Matt and Andrew, y'all have this and others in the room.
-
But I didn't have that kind of deployment.
-
But those that did, they had to go home and say we're leaving.
-
This is the. Date don't matter how much
-
they're like I need you to stay, I don't want you to go doesn't
-
matter. It doesn't matter because
-
there's a voice higher and it proved it had authority in my
-
life and and why not? Because it made me, I chose to
-
enlist into its. Service do you know you chose
-
after he chose you and he has the highest say so again in
-
verse 16 it says people swear by someone greater than themselves.
-
Why? Because they say, well, so and
-
so said it well, OK, well, if so and so said it there you go,
-
right? Well, that's what you need to
-
say. Well, Jesus said that's the
-
highest word verse 17 says because God didn't want any
-
doubts. They no doubts because God
-
wanted those who are heirs of His promised redemption to be.
-
Certain say certain. About the unchanging nature of
-
his methods, principles, and character of love, he confirmed
-
it with his own word. In essence, what I've said is
-
final. It will be that way only, and
-
nothing is more supreme than what I just.
-
Said, are you hearing me now? Why is this important concerning
-
having a reigning spirit in the days we live in today?
-
First Corinthians 2, verses 11:50.
-
Says for to us, God revealed them through the Spirit.
-
For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
-
So the reigning Spirit you have searches the depths of God, the
-
one who has the final say, the supreme Word, His Word is
-
supremacy, period. It's final, there is no
-
disputing it. So when the enemy talks.
-
He's a liar and His word is not more powerful.
-
His word will identify with you, though, because we've all lived
-
in the flesh. We've felt it.
-
We've had doubts, we've had fears, we've had insecurities,
-
we've had struggles, we've had guilt, we've had shame, we've
-
made mistakes. He knows it.
-
We know it, God. Doesn't know it.
-
Because when we repent, he forgets it.
-
We're always reminding the King and the King's like I had the
-
final say on, that it is forgiven.
-
But yeah, we will let God let the devil talk to us and say you
-
can't do that. You know, you've blown it.
-
You know you can't go there anymore.
-
There's no way that ever use you, you know.
-
But the Lords, like, I don't even know what you're talking
-
about. Why are you trying to bring this
-
up to me? My word is supreme.
-
Quit listening to the liar. Your sin has been removed as far
-
as the east is from the West. I don't even know who you're
-
talking about right now because the one I'm looking at is holy,
-
blessed, royal, righteous as a head and not the tail.
-
Above and not beneath. Reigns in life overcomes every
-
circumstance. I don't even know you who you're
-
talking to. Talking about right now because
-
it surely isn't you. And his word on the matter to me
-
is all that matters. Amen.
-
Verse 11 says, For who among men knows the thought of a man,
-
except the spirit of man, which is in him?
-
You know what you thinking. Even so, the thoughts of God no
-
one knows except the Spirit of God.
-
Verse 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world
-
there it is again, but the Spirit who is from God.
-
Why? So that we may what know the
-
things freely given to us by God.
-
He's there to let us know. This is the.
-
Supreme word on that and nothing is higher than my word though no
-
other spirit talking tested if I've said this and you're
-
hearing something else. It's a lot.
-
Don't accept it. Don't accept it.
-
Take no thought, pay no attention to it, because the
-
King's word has supremacy and it's the final say on all
-
matters. It is the only voice.
-
That does matter. And again, if you're not in the
-
Word, then it's very difficult sometimes for you to hear what
-
the Spirit's saying because He only speaks the Word.
-
The Bible is God's Word to us. It demonstrates His character.
-
You cannot find in any place of Scripture that God did not do
-
what He says. If anything, that we should see
-
every time we go from page to page, Genesis 11 to Revelations
-
2221, we should see God's faithful to His Word.
-
He always brings it to pass Amen.
-
He always brings it to pass, which brings me to this passage
-
in closing in John chapter 10, verse two to five, I'm going to
John 10 chapter mention
-
read the New American Standard. Then I'm going to give you a
-
different translation because it's really amazing, he says.
-
But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep.
-
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he
-
calls his own sheep by name and leaves them out.
-
When he puts forth all his own, he goes out ahead of them, and
-
the sheep follow him because they what know his voice.
-
A stranger they simply will not follow, but will.
-
Flee from him because they do not know the voice of a
-
stranger. Your confession daily should be
-
I know the voice of my king. I hear the voice of my king by
-
the reigning spirit he's given me.
-
We should never doubt. Now you may not be currently
-
hearing something, but you go ahead and say I hear my King's
-
voice cause the reigning spirit in me speaks to me through by
-
him and just accept that and whatever the reigning spirit
-
says to me, that's final. Nothing else I'll accept.
-
Nothing else I'll accept, because anything spoken to me
-
that may be factually correct can change to what my king says.
-
Actually, you could have cancer eating your body up and you have
-
two weeks to live. The truth is the king says by
-
his stripes he were healed. This is the healthcare of the
-
Kingdom. You are healed of the Lord and
-
it can kill every cancer. In your body, no matter where
-
it's hiding out, that's the final say.
-
I said that's the final say. That's the final say.
-
But you have to have certainty. I know I hear His voice.
-
I know I hear his voice. I know I hear his voice.
-
I know I hear his voice. Amen.
-
Let me read this out of the remedy translation.
-
It says this, but the shepherd of the sheep enters through the
-
gate. The guard opens the gate for the
-
shepherd, and the sheep that know him listen to his voice.
-
I like that. Because you understand, it's one
-
thing for him to know us, it's another thing for us to know
-
him. It is a relationship.
-
So in order for you to know him, you've got to get to know him.
-
Now, I can tell you right now if I married Pastor Marcy September
-
12th, 1991, First Baptist Church, Archer said.
-
Our vows, went to our honeymoon, consummated the marriage, and
-
then the next day I said you can go home.
-
I got things to do and then I'm gone for three years.
-
Go back up three years later, say hey, I'm home, let's Make
-
Love again and then leave for another six months.
-
Well, you are my wife. Legally, I have a right to this.
-
Do we have a relationship? Amazing how many believers want
-
to have intimacy with God without relationship with God.
-
But the reality is you're not even having intimacy.
-
I just want to be in His presence.
-
And a lot of that we don't watch out can really be lustful
-
because it's not coming from, Paul said.
-
I just want to know you. In order for me to know my wife
-
for 33 years is because we talk, we converse, I hear what she
-
likes, what she doesn't like, and then we merge.
-
But it's because we convert, not because we do what we do.
-
And then we show up and every once in a while we just get
-
naked. That's not relationship.
-
I'll never forget the Lord told me one time he said if you spend
-
as much time with your wife as you do with me, you wouldn't be
-
married very long. As far I was called to ministry,
-
I was born again, but I would work, you know, I'd do stuff on
-
my wife, my kids. You know, I love God, but the
-
reality is I wasn't reading the Bible.
-
I wasn't praying. I once spent, I'd show up to
-
church whenever I decided and I was in a situation praying, he
-
says. You know, son, if you spend as
-
much time with your wife as you do me, you wouldn't be married
-
very long. Hallelujah.
-
He said. But the shepherd, the guard, the
-
gate of the shepherd, the sheep that know him, listen to his
-
voice. He calls the sheep by name.
-
And all who know the shepherd he leads out of the pen.
-
When he has brought, when he has brought out all who know him, he
-
goes ahead of them, leading the way, never driving them from
-
behind. And his sheep follow because
-
they know. His voice and love him and all
-
his. Ways.
-
In the last of the last days, it's imperative that we decide
-
that the Word of the King is final and the reigning spirit
-
we've been given is only telling us his final say.
-
We need to know and trust that God's way on it or thought about
-
it is supreme. And mine will always be
-
crucified. And anyone else speaking other
-
than what's clearly seen within the context of Scripture, of
-
God's nature, ability, and. Way of doing things then we will
-
no longer be compromising to the whims of culture or society we
-
will say this is our. King, this is what he says.
-
He's given you an opportunity to receive Him at His word, and
-
you're going to have life and life more abundantly.
-
But I will not compromise His way to bend to your way, because
-
His word is unmatched.
