  1. I I Hallelujah. Well, the Lords, good, Amen, are

  2. excited about the word today, are excited about receiving the

  3. word today, Amen. We're going to be doing

  4. communion a little bit later. And so, you know, as I was

  5. praying today, about an hour and 10 minutes, you know, and I

  6. prayed throughout the week. Really at any time the Lord can

  7. give me a message for service. Sometimes it's later than

  8. earlier. In this case, you know, as I was

  9. praying, I'm like, I'm not getting anything yet, Lord,

  10. nothing, nothing, nothing. But I trust, I trust because,

  11. you know, we could come in here and have service and not preach

  12. at all. And it could just be a totally

  13. different presentation. And he's not obligated to let me

  14. know anything. But he spoke to me and he said

  15. you need to remind them of some things.

  16. And I love the messages of reminder.

  17. Now, when I say that for those who know you don't check out,

  18. but the second thing is when I say reminder, you have to

  19. understand that sometimes there are people in our congregation

  20. right now or that will listen online that this is not

  21. remembering. This is I've never heard that

  22. before. Amen.

  23. Cause again, if you do not exercise even what you know, it

  24. will become weak. I said it become weak.

  25. I mean, we could do a test, although he would not allow it

  26. to happen. But I could have Pastor Mike

  27. come up here on the platform right now right in shorts.

  28. I could have him flex his quad. And then I could say for the

  29. next two years, I want you to do no, legs don't work out on them,

  30. just walk. We take a picture, we can

  31. measure his legs and then he does not do anything with his

  32. legs at all except walk. I guarantee in two years we're

  33. going to be shocked at how much smaller they are.

  34. So again, when we talk about remembering, remembering is at

  35. minimum allowing you to maintain size.

  36. In one sense, maintain. This puts you in a place where

  37. we're not going to lose size. We're not going to lose where

  38. we've attained to it. It strengthens us to maintain

  39. size. All right, So in Second Peter

    2 Peter 1:12–13

  40. chapter 1, verses 12 to 13, as you're turning over there, I

  41. just want to thank you for the gifts that you gave to Pastor

  42. Marcy and I for pastor's appreciation.

  43. She mentioned it on Wednesday. I just wanted to mention it on

  44. Sunday. And we just appreciate you

  45. tremendously. I'll be honest with you.

  46. I sometimes wish that we wouldn't do this at all because,

  47. you know, at the end of the day, the Bible talks about honoring

  48. one another. And, and sometimes I feel like

  49. maybe in the church, we start creating these things just

  50. because, you know, we got to put them in calendars.

  51. Is it right to honor those that are in oversight?

  52. Absolutely. You know, but why do we wait

  53. around for one particular month to do something?

  54. You know, I, I feel like maybe I'm going to let our staff know,

  55. let it go because at the end of the day, if it's not something

  56. you want to do at any time, I don't want you to ever feel

  57. pressure that you have to. Right, because I love you,

  58. period. Amen.

  59. So mark that down. Make sure you tell Pastor

  60. Vanessa because he always organizes this stuff.

  61. All right, Second Peter, chapter one, verse 12 through 13.

  62. Again, if you can't remember us for who we are, I mean, it is

  63. what it is. Hallelujah.

  64. Amen. Second Peter chapter one, verse

  65. 12 to 13 says. Therefore, I will always be

  66. ready to remind you of these things, even though you already

  67. know them and have been established in the truth which

  68. is present with you. I consider it right.

  69. Say, consider it right. We'll talk about this word.

  70. Consider later on. I consider it right as long as I

  71. am in this earthly dwelling to stir you up by way of reminder

  72. in Psalm chapter 33, verse 9. This is a great thing to keep us

    Psalms 33:9

  73. stirred up in, and that is this. He spoke, it was done, He

  74. commanded, and it stood fast. Can I get a better holiday than

  75. that? He spoke.

  76. It was done, He commanded, and it stood fast.

  77. Whoo, glory to God. In the age where everything's

  78. being questioned, this reigned supreme.

  79. He spoke, it was done. He commanded and it stood fast.

  80. Hallelujah. I said Hallelujah.

  81. I don't care about the shifting sands of time.

  82. I don't care about the ebbs and flows of culture of the world.

  83. I'm telling you. He spoke, it was done.

  84. He commanded, it stood fast. Hallelujah.

  85. When your king talks, I said, when your king talks, he's able

  86. to bring it to pass. I said, he's able to bring it to

  87. pass. Come on.

  88. You know, in Romans chapter 10, verse 17, it says this.

    Romans 10:17

  89. So faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of, of

  90. Christ. Now, I'm not an English scholar

  91. at all, not even close, but I do believe that this verse would

  92. have been better to have said so.

  93. Faith comes by hearing, period. And hearing or our hearing

  94. should be by the word of Christ, because we're all hearing, and

  95. hearing is what's giving us a firm persuasion of the words we

  96. heard of whether we believed it so much we act on it.

  97. We allow it to govern our lives. And there are things I have

  98. faith in that's not in the Bible.

  99. I mean, I am firmly persuaded, and I'll give you one very

  100. practical, I am firmly persuaded that the yellow dotted line on a

  101. highway is able to keep a car coming in the opposite direction

  102. on the other side of the road. That the one on the other side

  103. coming in the opposite direction has the same faith I have in my

  104. lane. And that is because that dotted

  105. yellow lines there that I am to stay on my side.

  106. I'm firmly persuaded I should stay on that side and never

  107. cross that unless you're going too slow in the Prius.

  108. OK, the only vehicle I get behind that they never do the

  109. speed limit because they're watching the little green

  110. battery deal of efficiency. However, but it is safe that you

  111. and again, I'm only packed because it's a dotted line

  112. because if you're gets a strike a solid one on my side it I'm

  113. firmly persuaded I should not because that would make me

  114. unrighteous. Meaning if the police saw me the

  115. law, the one who is able to enforce that law saw me cross

  116. out of my lane with that solid yellow line that I'm subject to

  117. a ticket. Are you hearing me and that

  118. comes by what hearing? How do I know this?

  119. I heard I was taught it is within our culture and I stay

  120. over on my side because it keeps me with life and the one coming

  121. against me towards me In life the goal is for us not to die.

  122. Well you understand God's word is to keep us in life.

  123. That's all it is. So faith comes by hearing.

  124. So whatever you choose to hear, except His truth and act upon,

  125. well guess what? That's what you have faith in

  126. and it can be something that's not even God's Word.

  127. Paul is saying your firm persuasion needs to be in the

  128. Word of God. Why?

  129. Because he spoke and it is done. He commanded and it stood fast

  130. and it does it for all eternity. Isn't that good news?

  131. Now faith comes by hearing. That doesn't mean you have faith

  132. just 'cause you heard. You have faith because you act

  133. on what you heard. Faith though comes by hearing in

  134. in Hebrews chapter one, verse 1. You know this.

  135. The amplified classic says this. Now faith is the assurance the

  136. the confirmation, the title deed, the amplified classic.

  137. I'm going to read out of the confirmation, the title deed of

  138. the things we hope for being the proof of things we do not see

  139. and the conviction of their reality.

  140. That's faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the

  141. senses, meaning we believe what we heard God say more than what

  142. our physical senses can grab hold of.

  143. Again, a point is Jesus is walking on water.

  144. I mean in the natural senses, especially to a professional

  145. fisherman who has jumped out of a boat more than one time in his

  146. life, knows that is impossible. But as he's seeing Jesus walk on

  147. the water, coming to the boat and he no find realizes it's

  148. Jesus, he doesn't just assume, 'cause Jesus did it, I can do

  149. it. OK, Just because Jesus is doing

  150. something doesn't mean you can unless he speaks.

  151. Notice Peter didn't just step out of the boat and come to

  152. Jesus. What did he do?

  153. Lord, if it's you command me to come out, 'cause if I hear you

  154. say I can, then although I have all physical senses and natural

  155. experience that this is crazy and it's not going to happen,

  156. but at your word, come on. At your word bid me command me

  157. to come out. He said, come, four letter word,

  158. come. Peter got out of the boat and

  159. walked on the water as well. But what happened?

  160. See, he's not well versed in water walking, right?

  161. He's well versed in swimming, not in walking on it.

  162. And so when conditions arose that cause fear to enter in, he

  163. began to seek. I'm going to give you a

  164. practical lesson in faith, all right?

  165. Practical lesson in faith. Faith requires us to go against

  166. our natural senses, OK? Faith requires us to go against

  167. our natural senses. All right.

  168. How many you can ride a bike, OK, with every hand up, keep

  169. your hands up. How many of you have not ridden

  170. a bike in You haven't ridden a bike in the last six months?

  171. OK. You haven't ridden a bike in the

  172. last year. You haven't ridden a bike in the

  173. last two years. Oh, this is good.

  174. You haven't ridden a bike in the last three years. 4 and I get

  175. 567-8910. All right, I'm looking around.

  176. Why is it all women now? No, there's a guy.

  177. All right, all right, Keith, I can't use you.

  178. You're you're not 100% yet. Who we got back here, Kevin.

  179. Come on, Kevin. Come on down, Kevin.

  180. Now, Kevin, let me ask this question.

  181. Have you ever ridden a bike? Huh.

  182. OK. Now, how many years has it been?

  183. Kevin? You think?

  184. Come on, Don, you live with the man.

  185. At least 11. All right, we'll go over here

  186. then. Let's get over here not to.

  187. Sorry. Sorry, Charlie.

  188. It's Charlie's bike. OK, Now he's riding a bike, but

  189. he hasn't ridden one in 11 years.

  190. And you know the saying, you know, obviously once you get on

  191. a bike, you know, you can just get back on the bike.

  192. You know, it's like, as easy as riding a bike.

  193. But how do you remember the first time you ever got on a

  194. bike? What did that look like?

  195. Right. Come on.

  196. What did that look like? Stay here.

  197. We're going to do a little illustration here.

  198. Come on, jump up here on the bike.

  199. All right? You can ride a bike, right?

  200. OK, but now remember when we first started learning how to

  201. ride a bike? Put your feet on the pedal.

  202. You got them. I got you.

  203. I'm going to hold you. OK, so we're going to pretend

  204. like you don't know how. Now, at this point, you

  205. understand this goes against our natural senses.

  206. The bike is faith. It's the vehicle that gets the

  207. unseen into the scene. So God gives you the bike, but

  208. you have to ride it all right? Now, The thing is, it's kind of

  209. against your senses. I mean, He can walk by himself

  210. once he figured that out. But now when it comes to bike

  211. riding, that's a whole nother ball game.

  212. And he can balance for a little while.

  213. But if he's never done it, So what do we do?

  214. Typically, God helps us in our faith.

  215. Put your feet on the pedals. And so He what goes with us as

  216. he begins, right? This is how we're going like

  217. this. He's helping you.

  218. Then he let's go of that, you know, and then he let's go of

  219. the seat. Are you ready?

  220. I don't know either. You're OK.

  221. And he's like there now. If you start to fall, he's like,

  222. what's he do they catch you? Right.

  223. I mean, if you were a good parent, you did that.

  224. All right. Turn the bike around.

  225. Turn the bike around So when you're a good parent, you're

  226. done. You're running behind it, like.

  227. And then what are you doing as a parent?

  228. Because the father does that. He buys you the bike.

  229. That's faith. He's like, you're doing it.

  230. You're doing it. You're doing it, you're doing

  231. it, you're doing it. And he's running with you,

  232. champion with you. You got it.

  233. You can do this thing. But again, when you first start,

  234. you're a little sketchy, little wobbly, right?

  235. You can be seated. Thank you.

  236. You help me out. Hey, Laura Wade.

  237. Laura Wade, you in here? Is she working?

  238. OK, who's working at cafe today? Who will will in here?

  239. Macy. Macy, get that man whatever he

  240. wants from the cafe after service.

  241. OK, So you know you started you're having to get yourself

  242. because living a life of faith is another environment and you

  243. got to steady yourself. You got to balance yourself

  244. right now again, you know as well as I do what happens, I'm

  245. coming to you. We're not done.

  246. But when you're riding your bike of faith, right, you're doing

  247. what God's called you to do all right, I'm really going to mess

  248. the media team up. That's fine.

  249. I mean, you're going, but you understand every of us when

  250. we're learning faith, we'll get in situations our obstacles may

  251. come and we I staged that. That was pretty good, right?

  252. Anyway, we can wreck. Well, what do you do when it

  253. seems like faith's not faith is still there.

  254. You just have to get up. You got to get back up.

  255. Don't abandoned your faith like some of y'all did when you were

  256. young. You banded it, went home and

  257. your mom and dad's like, where's your bike, right?

  258. And then your parents went, picked your faith up, brought it

  259. back to you, nursed your pain, right?

  260. But then the next day, what are you doing?

  261. Here we go. We're back on it.

  262. And the cool thing about faith is that once you learn it, man,

  263. you can really get moving and you can really get going, right?

  264. You can get going. Feel like a BMX bike guy right

  265. now. Yeah.

  266. Sorry. Excuse me.

  267. All right, we're going back. Now, here's the thing.

  268. When we if you don't watch out, if we don't stay in the things

  269. of God, we'll start living by the natural again and we'll find

  270. ourselves living on our own ability that oh legs blew up a

  271. little bit. Watch out now that we've lived

  272. in natural so that we've not lived where we're calling those

  273. things that be not as though they were.

  274. We're living based upon the blessing we've already received

  275. and the Bible talks about going from faith to faith.

  276. So again, when I get a bike now, I'm like, praise God, right?

  277. Jump on that thing, let's go. Because faith is always going

  278. and you have confidence. So when God gives you faith,

  279. you're like, OK, because you've conditioned yourself to live in

  280. the environment of the unseen. You don't no longer go by your

  281. senses anymore. You're like, bro, the word has

  282. spoken. And when you get real good in

  283. faith, you'll be like those BMX guys that when an obstacle

  284. comes, you know how to jump them, you know how to hop over

  285. them, you know how to slide down a place and then jump off to the

  286. other side. You know, you get so good in

  287. faith that when you come to an obstacle, you'll hit the

  288. obstacle, you'll do a backflip over the obstacle and land on

  289. the other side and keep going. Now the world will call you a

  290. show off when that takes place. But you know, you have practiced

  291. because those guys that do those kind of tricks did it through

  292. many trials, falls. But they said I'm going to get

  293. back on faith. I'm going to keep rioting.

  294. I'm going to beat that obstacle. I'm going to overcome that

  295. thing. I'm going to do that and land

  296. it. 11 years, people. And again, I'm putting him on a

  297. girl bike on top of that. Come on, now.

  298. Come on. See you guys.

  299. This is great. Yeah, this is amazing.

  300. You're doing so much better than I thought.

  301. Come on. Here we go.

  302. Hey, hey, hey. Whoa, whoa.

  303. You can take it on to the back. Man, that was like an anointed

  304. illustration right there. You couldn't have done that

  305. better because when you've been out of faith a little bit,

  306. although you've been on when you first get back, it's a little

  307. shaky. See, the reason why the devil

  308. wants you out of faith is because and then he'll convince

  309. you you you can't ever ride again.

  310. And when you start to try, you're a little, what do we say,

  311. Rusty? You got to knock the rust off.

  312. Are you hearing me? Amen.

  313. So we want to be those individuals that aren't staying

  314. off of faith for a number of years and then having to pick it

  315. up. You don't go to faith when

  316. trouble comes only we want to be in faith for everything, for the

  317. purposes, for the plans of God, for for other people, right?

  318. Because again, you can get so good in your faith that you can

  319. carry someone on it and you can carry a few people, right?

  320. In India they're pretty good at carrying people actually on

  321. their bikes. Now there's motorcycles they do

  322. this on, but then they also do on regular bikes as well.

  323. You know, you got them on the front and you got someone on the

  324. back and then they got a kid on the back of them and they got 2

  325. on their legs here and they're, it's like 5 or 6 people and

  326. someones pedaling, right? So again, you can carry someone

  327. on your faith, but you understand it's more enjoyable

  328. when you go with someone that they have their own faith to

  329. ride alongside you than you having to carry them all the

  330. time, right? And so, you know, put them on

  331. the handlebar, stick them on the back, whatever the case may be.

  332. But the goal is man, let's get you your own faith so you can

  333. ride this ride with me. Amen.

  334. And the greatest thing I love about faith is the skid.

  335. Oh my guys, they're listening to me.

  336. The skid, When you get going real fast down that road, a

  337. little bit of gravel and then you hit that brake, skid, that

  338. thing all the way around like that.

  339. I love to skid right on the top of the devil.

  340. Every dog on time, my faith comes to pass.

  341. I like to skid on him and then pump it so that my tire spins on

  342. his face a little bit. Boom, and then I'm going off to

  343. the next project. You know what I'm talking about.

  344. Now we move this whole analogy over to motorcycles.

  345. That's more power. We into more power now.

  346. Amen. And more power can get you a

  347. higher jump, a longer distance. We have the greatest power

  348. because we have the reigning spirit, we have the reigning

  349. word. And this word will never cause

  350. us to be defeated, be pulled back, to be destroyed, to be

  351. stopped. Nothing of that.

  352. None of that can happen because what I said, I spoke, it stood,

  353. it was done, I commanded, and it stood fast.

  354. Man, aren't you glad God's word reigns supreme?

  355. We know in Romans chapter 4 verses 18 to 21, it says who

    Romans 4:18–21

  356. contrary to hope, who contrary to hope in hope believed so that

  357. he became the father of many nations.

  358. According to what was spoken, according to what was what

  359. spoken, so shall your descendants be.

  360. And not being weak in faith, he did not consider, say, consider

  361. his own body already did, since he was about 100 years old and

  362. the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise

  363. of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving

  364. glory to God and being fully convinced that what he had

  365. promised or said, he was also able to perform glory to God.

  366. God will do what he says. Now this word consider, we're

  367. going to look at it in two passive Scripture.

  368. It it, it has some of the same context, OK to it.

  369. But notice what it says here in Romans that Abraham did not

  370. consider. Say not he did not consider.

  371. So in order for your faith to see completions, you're going to

  372. have to have two considerations. You're going to have to have two

  373. considerations. Now, the first consideration is

  374. to what you consider, not what you consider not because the

  375. word consider here means to fix one's eyes or mind upon.

  376. So he considered not, he said. I am not going to look at the

  377. natural. I'm not going to look at it.

  378. If I'm going to be firmly persuaded, fully persuaded,

  379. fully convinced that what God has said will come to pass, then

  380. I cannot look at the natural circumstance.

  381. It tells me it's impossible. It tells me it can't be done.

  382. We have exercised this thing for years and it has never come to

  383. pass. But I cannot consider that

  384. that's not where my eyes or my mind is focused.

  385. Amen. Are you hearing me?

  386. So the first consideration in order for our faith to get to

  387. the place of done is that we don't consider the natural

  388. period. Doesn't mean we're not aware of

  389. it, Doesn't mean we don't know the facts of it.

  390. And we are not in denial of it. We're not in denial.

  391. We are just not considering it as the final say of what's going

  392. on. Because he has spoken.

  393. See, he spoke to Abraham. He spoke to him.

  394. I'm going to make you a father of many nations when he was

  395. still Abram. I'll make you a father of many

  396. nations. I'll make you a father of you

  397. are a father of many nations. Through you a covenant child is

  398. going to come. And not just you through your

  399. through your wife. You mean the one that can't get

  400. pregnant? That's the one.

  401. Now he has said it. He spoke.

  402. It is done. He commanded and it stood fast.

  403. Are you hearing me? So the second thing that we need

  404. to consider so that we can see our faith being done, that's in

  405. Hebrews Chapter 11, verse 11. This is his wife.

    Hebrews 11:11

  406. By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive

  407. even beyond the proper time of life, for she considered him

  408. faithful who had promised so she did.

  409. The second consideration, Abraham's consideration, was to

  410. not consider the natural. Her consideration was to only be

  411. considering what he had said. In fact, the word consider means

  412. think on the leader's speech. It means to think on the

  413. leader's speech or the one who rules or governs me.

  414. So she said, I am going to think on what the Lord has spoken.

  415. That's what I'm going to think on.

  416. That's what she did. And when she did, she realized

  417. that He was faithful and faithful defined means worthy of

  418. trust. He was worthy of trust because

  419. he had always done what He said. Has God done what He said in

  420. your life? Come on, has He done what he

  421. said in your life? And you know what's so awesome

  422. about God? He proves it right out the gate

  423. the minute you become a child of God.

  424. Now in some cases, and in a lot of cases, honestly, God will

  425. prove it even while you're a Sinner, that if you get around

  426. the environment of God, God through his believers can say

  427. something on behalf of the King by their faith, prove His will,

  428. and He does what He says to help strengthen you when he starts to

  429. speak to you and say you need to receive Jesus Christ as your

  430. Lord and Savior. Now when you hear that as a lost

  431. person or person outside God's Kingdom, and then you act on it.

  432. We all know He does what He says because we become a new creature

  433. in Christ. The old has passed away.

  434. Behold, all things become new. Anyone truly born of God is not

  435. vacillating. It's a mate, a lost person that

  436. has never been in his Kingdom. The minute they accept Jesus

  437. Christ our Lord, they know. They know they have eternal life

  438. and their mind renewal is irrelevant to the reality of

  439. being a new creature in Christ. They know my God.

  440. I'm different, I'm different. I'm free from the shame, the

  441. guilt. I'm free because again, you can

  442. confess, Lord, with your mouth, but your heart be far from it.

  443. And all that was, was a confession that had no results.

  444. But man, when you believe, I believe it.

  445. I don't care how it happened, don't know, I don't understand

  446. it all, but I know this. He said that by his blood He has

  447. forgiven me of all my wrongdoing, my sin.

  448. He's canceled it, moved it out of the way.

  449. I'm going to receive that forgiveness and be born again.

  450. And man, when you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you know I'm

  451. somebody different on the inside.

  452. I look the same here. And my mind right now still

  453. thinks a certain way at times, but I know I have no doubt I'm a

  454. child of God. I'm a child of God.

  455. So he gives you a convincing proof right out the gate.

  456. Woo. And then if you get in do with

  457. power from on high and you receive that by faith, then

  458. you're talking the language of the Kingdom, constantly

  459. reminding you God did what he said he'd do.

  460. He said he didn't do me with power.

  461. He put power on me. I have the power of God.

  462. You know what evidence is? I'm speaking in other tongues.

  463. Once again, here are two what we call baby are, are, are.

  464. Yeah, elementary expressions are knowledges of God that he

  465. instantly confirms in US. I do what I say, Hallelujah,

  466. Hallelujah, Amen. So we know Proverbs 3 five and

  467. six says this trust in the Lord because when he's found

  468. faithful, he's worthy of trust, trust in the Lord.

  469. But how do you trust in him? Trust in the Lord with with with

  470. all your as your whole being and do not lean.

  471. So there's a consideration. So when you trust in the Lord

  472. with all your heart, then you're not going to consider your own

  473. understanding. You're you're going into this

  474. life of faith. I'm no longer going to consider

  475. the natural circumstance. I want to consider what has the

  476. leader spoken, the supreme King, the chief shepherd.

  477. And if you weren't here Wednesday night, you need to go

  478. online and listen. It's powerful.

  479. OK, So you do not lean on our own understanding in all in how

  480. many all your in all your ways, not in only in your trials.

  481. Lord, I'm in trouble. I'm having a problem here, man.

  482. Let me pull please. Would you send me a bike that I

  483. can ride? Can you send me some faith

  484. because I'm in trouble? Lord, He's like in all your

  485. ways. Because you know when we get in

  486. all of our ways, there's some trials we will avoid.

  487. There's really some trials you can just avoid all together.

  488. Now again, if you get in a trial that you put yourself in, God is

  489. so merciful to get you out. Your your father is not saying,

  490. well, you got yourself in in a mess, get yourself out.

  491. We say that, but God does not say that.

  492. God may say, well, you're in a mess.

  493. And when you're like, yeah, Dad, I'm in a mess.

  494. Well, you do know how you got here, right?

  495. Yes, Dad, I know how I got here. Well, do you want to stay?

  496. Honestly, Dad, I do not. Well, Dad, would you help me get

  497. out of this mess? Son, daughter, I'd be happy,

  498. thrilled, elated, ecstatic to get you out of this mess.

  499. And this is how you do it. And the minute you hear his

  500. voice on how to do it, that's all the power you need and

  501. you'll come out. And then he'll, he'll put you in

  502. a perspective that you'll won't even have to remember the

  503. mistake you were in. Oh my goodness.

  504. So in all your ways, not just in trials and tribulations, in all

  505. your ways. Acknowledge him and he will.

  506. What's he going to do? He's going to make you pass

  507. straight. Man, I don't know what to do.

  508. He'll make you pass straight. It seems like I can't see around

  509. this thing. He'll make you pass straight.

  510. He does. He's not one to just show you

  511. how to navigate the obstacle. He removes the obstacle.

  512. If a mountain's in a way, it can be removed.

  513. If a tree's gone down, it can be removed because the shortest

  514. distance, I'm getting mathematical now.

  515. The shortest distance between any two points is a straight

  516. line. God doesn't want you to wander

  517. way out here to come back into here because they need to teach

  518. you something out here. God's faith is a straight line.

  519. Here it is. Here it is.

  520. That doesn't mean things don't want to try to get on it.

  521. And God's not asking you to go around it because the shortest

  522. distance is to stay on the line. Because when the devil tries to

  523. throw things on your path, you're like Lord, a tree fell.

  524. He'll say, well, let's get a chainsaw, we'll cut this thing

  525. out. Well, there's a mountain.

  526. Well, let's get some explosives. We'll blow this thing up.

  527. I mean, it doesn't matter. Well, there's a fire in the

  528. middle of the road. That's OK.

  529. I got some water. We'll put it out.

  530. Don't get off your straight course, because what you saw at

  531. the end is still there. And you do not have to go

  532. around. If you get off, he can navigate

  533. you back no problem. But the shortest distance

  534. between any two points is a straight line.

  535. Isaiah 5589 says this for my thoughts.

  536. So we are to acknowledge Him in all our ways.

  537. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways.

  538. My ways declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher

  539. than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my

  540. thoughts higher than your, my thoughts than your thoughts.

  541. What he is not saying that sometimes gets translated is

  542. that His ways and thoughts are so high we can attain them.

  543. He is not saying that in this passage of scripture.

  544. He is saying don't lean on your own understanding your way and

  545. your thought of overcoming is not how I think and my way of

  546. overcoming lean to me. Acknowledge me because I have a

  547. way of doing things that you could have never considered

  548. before in your life. I do things that you would have

  549. never thought of and I'll tell you what I want and then you can

  550. think like me and do it because my power will cause that faith

  551. to come to pass. You jump down to verse 11 and it

  552. says this verse 11 says, so will my word go, which so will my

  553. word be, which goes forth from my mouth.

  554. It will not return to me empty without accomplishing what I

  555. desire and without succeeding in the manner for which I sent it.

  556. So to do an illustration, let me sit here on the front of the

  557. platform for a minute. Let's pretend that I am God the

  558. Father seated on His throne in heaven at his right hand.

  559. Seated on the throne is Jesus Christ his Son.

  560. OK, The Holy Spirit is not just staying there because you know,

  561. He's the Spirit. He's everywhere, but He has a

  562. direct communication line to the Son.

  563. Seated at the right hand of the Father.

  564. You are in the earth with the Holy Spirit because God has come

  565. down. Glory to God, He's with us,

  566. Amen. And so he's in US and he's come

  567. upon us and he allows us to have direct communication to the

  568. throne room, the throne of grace that we can come to in time of

  569. trouble, in need. And when we when we are in help,

  570. we need help because all, not all of our help is trouble.

  571. Sometimes I just need help to accomplish my purpose.

  572. Sometimes I need help and knowing what I don't know.

  573. I mean, help is pretty general term.

  574. So what we do is we pray, Father, this is where we're at.

  575. In the name of Jesus. He's the authorized one in the

  576. earth. He's the king, right?

  577. He's the one who has died and risen again.

  578. He's the one who got who has received back the dominion Adam

  579. lost and he's extended that to us and now we function in the

  580. earth as his ambassador with his name to carry out God's will.

  581. So he communicates to the Father by the name of Jesus and we're

  582. saying, Lord, we're in this situation or we need to know

  583. this or we are going in this. We have some paths.

  584. Whatever. Whatever the conversation is, it

  585. gets to Jesus by the Holy Ghost. Jesus turns to the Father and

  586. says, what do you want to say? The Father says, Son, tell him

  587. this. Jesus then speaks to the Holy

  588. Spirit. We know this scripture because

  589. it says the Holy Spirit only speaks what he hears from Jesus.

  590. Jesus only says what he hears from the Father.

  591. The Father has the final say. So when the Father speaks to the

  592. Son, the Son speaks to the Spirit, and the Spirit speaks to

  593. you. He has sent his word.

  594. It went forth. Once you receive that word, then

  595. prayer as a king is to declare what you heard, and you say

  596. well, in the name of Jesus, and then you speak what you heard.

  597. Well, when you speak what you heard, it goes back up by the

  598. Spirit to the ears of Jesus, of which Jesus then will

  599. authenticate the sound. Oh, he will authenticate the

  600. sound because when that sound hits his ears, he'll know

  601. whether a firm persuasion is in the voice.

  602. And then does it have the authorization?

  603. He'll hear the sound of faith in the voice and the authorization

  604. in the name of Jesus. Jesus will then turn to the

  605. Father and says. What Pastor Earl, you know,

  606. Sandy, whomever just said in the earth and the Lord says, well,

  607. that's my word, that's my word. So then he says to son, it's

  608. granted. And then Jesus says it's

  609. granted. And then the Holy Spirit,

  610. because we saw it in the days of creation, he hovered over the

  611. earth waiting for the Word, and then he accomplished it.

  612. Then he hears from the King what I say it's granted, thank you,

  613. it's granted. Then it materializes from the

  614. unseen into the scene, and now it we fulfill the scripture that

  615. says is this is the confidence that we have.

  616. If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us and we

  617. have what we have said or spoken.

  618. So that's how your prayers are working.

  619. Your prayers are, Lord, what do you need me to say about this?

  620. And the father's like say this. The son says, say this.

  621. The Holy Spirit says say this. Then you say that.

  622. And then the Spirit comes up and says he said this.

  623. And the Jesus says I've authenticated that's faith.

  624. He goes to the to the Father says he said this.

  625. And the Father says, well, he should have confidence because

  626. that's what I said, and he's going to have it or she's going

  627. to have it, Glory to God, Amen. And that's anything he says

  628. without doubting. I said without doubting, Amen.

  629. So we see then here in Psalms 119, verse 15 to 16, he says, I

    Psalms 119:15–16

  630. will meditate on your precepts and regard your ways.

  631. I shall delight in your statutes.

  632. I shall not forget your word. The number one enemy to you

  633. having faith that's done is forgetting.

  634. Don't forget. We can't forget.

  635. We must meditate. We must stay with the word we

  636. heard. We must speak that word.

  637. We must be firmly persuaded, and that word is going to come to

  638. pass. What is a New Testament

  639. equivalent of this particular Psalm of 119, which Psalms 119

  640. is such an amazing chapter. Oh my gosh, it's such an amazing

  641. chapter. It is the key to life.

  642. I'm telling you, it's the key to life.

  643. Psalm 60, Psalm 6, verse 33. I mean, not Psalm Matthew 633.

  644. This is your new covenant equivalent, but seek first His

  645. Kingdom and His, and all these things will be added to you.

  646. The word seek means to seek in order to find out by thinking or

  647. meditating. So when we're seeking, we're

  648. trying to find out what the Father's thoughts are, which

  649. when we get his thoughts in ways, then we understand his

  650. righteousness, which righteousness is his way of

  651. doing it, right. And so when we understand his

  652. way of doing it, then they're at it.

  653. We have what we say. I said we have what we say and

  654. This is why it's so important in the dispensation we're in as a

  655. church is to seek the Kingdom. What's the king saying?

  656. What is the King? Because Jesus is crowned King,

  657. He has been consummated in heaven as King.

  658. When he went and poured his blood on the mercy seat of in

  659. heaven, God did a coordination and and crowned him King of

  660. heaven, earth and under the earth.

  661. Hallelujah and so when he returns, he doesn't return as a

  662. suffering servant, but he comes as a reigning king.

  663. He's already laid down his life as the lamb that was slain.

  664. The blood has been applied. The blood has there.

  665. And the reason why we remember the blood we remember the

  666. crucifixion is because it's what gave us access to new life.

  667. It gave us a spirit that's alive to God.

  668. It gave us spiritual ears to hear the Holy Ghost.

  669. It gave us the ability to know that when the king speaks, when

  670. the where, where there's a word of the king, there's power.

  671. When he speaks, it's done. When he commands, it stands

  672. fast. Amen.

  673. Hallelujah.
