  1. Well, the Lord is good, and His mercy endures.

  2. For how long? How long do you believe that?

  3. Amen. Turn over to Ephesians chapter

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  4. 2. In Ephesians chapter 2, we're

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  5. going to start in verse 4 and go to verse 7.

  6. So excited to be ministering. How many have been enjoying

  7. Wednesday night service with Pastor Marcy's?

  8. The Lord is your shepherd. Hallelujah, man.

  9. It's been powerful. Obviously we weren't here

  10. Wednesday night because Pastor Mike and I had was, was

  11. traveling, but I've been here in powerful testimonies and I'm

  12. thankful for that. And she's got another week of of

  13. ministry on that subject, so you don't want to miss it.

  14. Amen. In Ephesians chapter 2 verse 4

    Ephesians 2:4–7

  15. through 7, it says this but God say but God come on say but God

  16. say but God now this but God comes after a bad report of your

  17. life, a bad report of all humanity, that all have sinned,

  18. that everyone is outside of the family of God, destined to be

  19. judged and separated eternally. They are full of sin, full of

  20. rebellion, are against and away from God.

  21. They are dead in spirit but God, but God, But God being what?

  22. Rich in mercy? Aren't you glad he's merciful?

  23. Aren't you glad he's a merciful God?

  24. But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with

  25. which he loved us even when we were dead in our transgressions,

  26. made us alive together with Christ.

  27. By grace you have been saved and raised us up with Him and seated

  28. us with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the

  29. ages to come he might show the surpassing riches of his grace

  30. in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.

  31. You know, it's the kindness of God that draws us to repentance.

  32. And so God is rich in mercy. He is rich and the reason he can

  33. be rich is because his love has paid the price for all of our

  34. wrongdoing. I liken it this way.

  35. A lot of times, you know, we, we and we'll minister next year

  36. concerning the difference between grace and mercy because

  37. there's a difference. A lot of times we invoke the

  38. word grace when we really should be saying it's the mercy of God.

  39. It's not the grace of God, It's the mercy of God because the

  40. mercy of God and the grace of God are different.

  41. But when it comes to the mercy of God and God has done, has

  42. paid the price for your every wrongdoing you've ever done, I'm

  43. told. I'm saying before you even got

  44. out of your mother's womb, he's already paid the price for it.

  45. There is no wrongdoing. You can do that.

  46. It's not already paid in full. Are you hearing me?

  47. So I want us to get a little better picture of the mercy of

  48. God because we've all experienced this kind of mercy

  49. in the natural. All right, Now, I'm not going to

  50. make you have a show of hands, but maybe most of us that are of

  51. driving age have exceeded the speed limit at some time in our

  52. life. And as a result of that, we just

  53. happen to exceed it when the police were watching and

  54. monitoring it. In fact, I passed 2:00 today.

  55. Yeah. Now, when I said pass, I didn't

  56. blow past them. You understand, I was on the

  57. road. Can I can I just pause for a

  58. second? I'm going to come back to this

  59. story. I have learned what it means to

  60. function properly with power because when I purchased a

  61. particular vehicle that has, that's built for power, right?

  62. You have to be wise when you possess power.

  63. I've been at lights and all of a sudden things happen with the

  64. other vehicles. If it causes them to want to

  65. challenge my power, they just look over and they see me and

  66. they like, oh, I have literally had them take off as if we were

  67. racing. And in my mind concerning which

  68. vehicle that took off, I think to myself, if you only knew what

  69. I could do, but I restrain myself.

  70. Are you hearing me? And so today, you know, I wanted

  71. to get to service. I get excited about getting to

  72. service. And so when this an open Rd.

  73. sometimes, you know, the desire to I put mine in sports mode

  74. today, not because I had to. I just wanted to not that I

  75. drove as a sports car. I just put it in that mode.

  76. And so it was tempting to want to say, let me just do 20 miles

  77. real fast and then come back off.

  78. You know what I'm saying? Just get up there real quick and

  79. then come right back, right? And every time I have, I

  80. thought, no. And then all of a sudden there

  81. was a police officer with the gun out.

  82. I thought, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

  83. I restrained myself, right? And so then I turned off to go

  84. to down another St. and nobody's on the road.

  85. That thought came. Just hit it right.

  86. You have power. I'm like, Nah, you know, I

  87. didn't. Then when I got to the end of

  88. the road, hit the stop sign, there was a police officer

  89. across the road. He'd have watched me just fly

  90. up. Well, you know what happened

  91. then? Yeah, I'd have seen the light.

  92. So you know how many of us have seen the light?

  93. We have seen the light. We've done those things where

  94. all of a sudden someone, you know, pulls you over and you

  95. know, they asked the proverbial question, Sir, did you know you

  96. were speeding? You know, now some of y'all

  97. aren't honest. You lie right out the gate,

  98. right? No, I didn't.

  99. For me, it's like, yes, Sir, right?

  100. I mean, let's just tell the truth.

  101. What's coming's coming at the end of the day, right?

  102. So what do they do? Typically they go at that point,

  103. they pulled up, they grab your license, they go sit back in the

  104. car and they let you sweat a little bit, right, 'cause, you

  105. know, I have been caught, it is justified, I am wrong.

  106. And the ticket they give me, it is due.

  107. I have to pay the price period for my wrongdoing, right?

  108. You see them because you're watching them in your rearview

  109. mirror, you know, you're trying to act calm and cool, you know,

  110. not sweat and get all upset, right?

  111. And then all of a sudden they get out of the vehicle and they

  112. start walking up and they hand you your license back, you know,

  113. and your insurance card. And they said, and I'm going to

  114. give you a warning. Anybody gotten a warning before?

  115. All right, I'm going to give you that's called mercy.

  116. I'm going to give you a warning. You need to just slow down,

  117. right? Because what they've done is

  118. they've looked at your record and because your record's been

  119. clean, you understand what I'm saying?

  120. Because your record's been clean or there's something, there's

  121. something they decided. Now, it's not like they don't

  122. think this probably ain't the first time.

  123. Maybe they log your mercy moments, You know, Now, I'm not

  124. a police officer, but I kind of have that little idea myself

  125. warning on this vehicle. And if that happens within a

  126. month, then the next guy's like, you already had a warning, bro.

  127. You're getting a ticket anyway. You received the warning.

  128. You drive off, you're like, and what's usually the first words

  129. out of your mouth. Thank you, Jesus, thank God I

  130. didn't get a ticket, right? Amen.

  131. In fact, let's even go one more you now let's don't do that one.

  132. So anyway, you drive off and you know, mercy has happened.

  133. And usually we take this thought that that's how God is, but

  134. that's not how God is. Let me tell you why, because we

  135. know that he just gave you mercy and that the penalty for your

  136. wrongdoing is not paid. It's as it's treated as if it

  137. didn't happen. However, that's not how your sin

  138. is treated like it didn't happen.

  139. So Jesus, if he was the police officer stopping you and says,

  140. do you know that you were speeding?

  141. Yes, Sir, I'm sorry. You repent and they take your

  142. stuff. They run your thing, come back

  143. and say I'm going to give you a warning because, you know, Jesus

  144. gave warnings, go and send no more.

  145. And so give a warning. But what you don't know is Jesus

  146. then sits down in the car and writes out the ticket and the

  147. penalty, and then goes back to the station and pulls out of his

  148. own pocket the price of the ticket that's in your name and

  149. pays it on your behalf. The reason he can extend mercy

  150. is because he knows this isn't going unpaid.

  151. I'll pay it, which gives me the ability to extend this mercy

  152. because everything has to be paid.

  153. And the reason you can receive mercy from Jesus is not because

  154. you get away with it, it's because he'll pay it so you

  155. don't have to. And that's called mercy.

  156. So anytime mercy comes to us, know that Jesus took it himself.

  157. But God being what? Rich in mercy?

  158. Being rich in mercy, every time mercy came running to us, Jesus

  159. said, I, I paid it, I paid it, I paid it, I paid it.

  160. When you walked away free without that penalty, I paid it.

  161. The debt was satisfied. But God being rich in mercy,

  162. because of his great love, of which he loved us when we were

  163. dead in our transgression, made us alive together with Christ,

  164. verse 6, but raised us up with him, and seated, say seated, say

  165. seated, seated with him. Where?

  166. In heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

  167. This word seated means to cause to sit together, to cause, to

  168. sit together, to place together. So he has seated us, He's caused

  169. us, He's placed us together with Him, He's placed us together

  170. with him, He's placed us together with him.

  171. You're not saved out of hell and they're not safe.

  172. When you're safe from something, you're saved to something.

  173. Most people know what they're safe from, but they don't know

  174. what they're saved to. They don't know what they've

  175. been delivered out of and what they've been delivered into.

  176. You had a position change when Jesus became Lord of your life.

  177. He repositioned you. He placed you in a different

  178. seat. OK, I know we've taught along

  179. these lines, but man, we need to be reminded.

  180. Just like last week. I know we talk about faith, but

  181. man, we need to be reminded because you understand, we are

  182. living in a time frame of the world that the church has to

  183. remind themselves what seat they're on, where they're

  184. seated. I said where they're seated.

  185. Because when you don't know where you're seated, or if you

  186. don't stay in the seat, there can become problems.

  187. But while you were yet a Sinner, Christ died for you.

  188. Paid the price. He's very merciful, which means

  189. He's talking to us all the while, encouraging us and

  190. drawing on us to receive His forgiveness.

  191. Receive the blood that paid full price for all of our wrongdoing.

  192. Get us out of one position into another position, and get us

  193. put. Place us on His seat.

  194. He wants us to sit down together with Him.

  195. Amen. The Murdoch translation says

  196. this. But God, who was rich in his

  197. mercies, because of his great love with which He loved us when

  198. we were dead in our sins, quickened us with the Messiah,

  199. and rescued us by his grace, and resuscitated us with him, and

  200. seated us with him and in heaven in Jesus the Messiah.

  201. Messiah is the Hebrew word which is the anointed one in his

  202. anointing. Christ is the Greek word that is

  203. the equivalent. Both of those are making

  204. reference to Jesus the King. Say he's the King and he is

  205. seated on a throne. Thrones are in kingdoms, not

  206. religions. And aren't you glad that God has

  207. given us his seat? Amen.

  208. Now when I say given us His seat, that doesn't mean He stood

  209. up and he said, take a seat. He is in the seat and we are in

  210. him. Hallelujah, we are in the same

  211. seat. He's in glory to God.

  212. I said glory to God. The Amplified classic says it

  213. this way. And He raised us up together

  214. with Him, and made us sit down together, giving us here it is

  215. joint seeding with Him in the heavenly sphere by the virtue of

  216. our being in Christ Jesus the Messiah, the Anointed One.

  217. Amen. I mean, that's you going to a

  218. place, getting invited to a place that, you know, I don't

  219. even deserve to show up based upon who I am, my nature.

  220. But there's been an invitation. And when you came in, in

  221. essence, when you got to the door, you were in filthy rags.

  222. You're not dressed for the occasion and you you answer.

  223. You rang the doorbell, you've been invited.

  224. The king is called and they open the door.

  225. And when the door is open, which is the cross of Jesus Christ,

  226. the minute you hit the doorway, you don't know how it happens,

  227. but they pull off your filthy rags and clothe you in royalty.

  228. You get into the house in a whole different apparel.

  229. You're in King's clothings now. You've been robed in right.

  230. Come on, you've been robed in righteousness.

  231. You've been in right standing with the governing Thor.

  232. You have the robe of right. You have the helmet of the crown

  233. on your head is a is a headdress of salvation.

  234. You have a ring on your finger that shows the authority and it

  235. has his name on it. You have the King's ring and

  236. then he ushers you into the banquet hall.

  237. You go past the the last row, though you would have been

  238. satisfied just to be in the room.

  239. He gets you past the middle way and he takes you all the way up

  240. to the platform and sits you in the same seat that he's in.

  241. He puts you in the banquet from the same vantage point that the

  242. king sits in. That amazing.

  243. Wow. The problem is, is that we've

  244. been outside the building for so long we don't think we know how

  245. to act on the seat. But training starts in the seat.

  246. I said training starts from that position.

  247. Psalms 2910 says if the Lord sat as king at the flood, yes, the

  248. Lord sits as king. How long come on?

  249. How long come on church, How long?

  250. I mean, I can finish in 5 minutes if you like, if you just

  251. participate with me, right? I mean, yes, the Lord what sits

  252. as king, How long? Forever Psalms 47, Eight says

  253. God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

  254. Glory to God, aren't you glad that our King sits on the

  255. throne? He's never been dethroned.

  256. He cannot be dethroned. It doesn't even matter about the

  257. nations of the earth because our King reigns over all the

  258. nations. When I visited Rodney Howard

  259. Brown, I went to his church and, you know, spent a little time

  260. with him. We were talking about the

  261. election prior to November the 5th.

  262. And he was, you know, obviously active in that sector of society

  263. as well. And he was talking about, you

  264. know, the things that were coming up and, you know, he was

  265. concerned about our nation, concerned about his direction,

  266. concerned about policies. And he said he was praying to

  267. the Lord and I was talking to him.

  268. And the Lord says, Son, do you think I care who's in the White

  269. House? Now, that doesn't mean God

  270. doesn't care. But what he was referencing is

  271. that it doesn't matter who's in. I'm on the throne.

  272. So he said, do you want to know if I care who gets elected?

  273. I'm telling you right now, I don't care who it is because

  274. Jesus is on the throne. And guess what?

  275. If Jesus is on the throne, then guess who else is?

  276. There? You are because you're seated in

  277. that place, Amen. Now, that doesn't release us of

  278. our responsibility of civic duty.

  279. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that when it's

  280. all said and done, he reigns over the nation's.

  281. One of those nations happened to be the United States of America.

  282. He rules over it, Amen. And his throne, he sits on it.

  283. So you need to understand his seat of authority is our seat of

  284. authority. I said, his seat of authority is

  285. our seat of authority. Praise the Lord, I said, praise

  286. the Lord, glory to his name. Look what it says in Ephesians

  287. chapter one. This is one what we call one of

  288. Pauline Paul's prayers to the church starting in verse 17.

  289. He says that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of

  290. glory may give to you. That's us a spirit of wisdom and

  291. revelation in the knowledge of him.

  292. He said, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so

  293. that you may know what is the hope of his calling, What are

  294. the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints.

  295. Do you know you have an inheritance and that you can

  296. walk in that inheritance now because Jesus has died and risen

  297. and he has given you an inheritance that you can have

  298. now. Not what?

  299. Not not to wait till you get to heaven.

  300. You can walk in that inheritance now.

  301. And what is the surpassing greatness?

  302. Look at these words that are describing greatness and God in

  303. these awesome things. I mean, we see riches, we see

  304. surpassing, we're seeing wisdom, revelation, we, he wants us to

  305. know these things, He said. What is the surpassing greatness

  306. of his power toward us? Not against us, but toward, you

  307. know, God's not against you. God's not against his own

  308. people. He's made power available toward

  309. us. We are not weak, beat down,

  310. barely getting along, or, you know, holding on until we either

  311. die or the trumpet blows and we're caught up together with

  312. him. No, He's given us a surpassing

  313. greatness of power towards those us who what belief now is

  314. required in order to receive. He goes on to say these are in

  315. accordance to the working of the strength of his might, which he

  316. brought about in Christ. When say when?

  317. When he raised him from the dead.

  318. Has he been risen? Has has He risen from?

  319. Has He risen from the dead? Has he been raised up when he

  320. raised him from the dead, and seated him at his right hand in

  321. heavenly places? Now what does that seat give

  322. Jesus? Far above all rule, and

  323. authority, and power and dominion, and every name that is

  324. named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come.

  325. And He put all things, say all things in subjection under His

  326. feet, and gave Him as head over all things to The Who are we,

  327. Who are we, Who are we? We're the church, which is his

  328. body, the fullness of Him who feels All in all.

  329. His seat of authority is our seat of authority.

  330. Hallelujah. When we stay in sin

  331. consciousness, we never take our seat.

  332. We never take our seat when we stay in sin consciousness, when

  333. all we do is think about who we were before Christ and we live

  334. the existence. This is this is who I was.

  335. This is who I was. Oh man, I don't deserve this.

  336. Who I was, this is who I was. And all the while the King's

  337. like, take a seat. Come on, take your seat.

  338. Because what you're in doesn't have to wait till you get to me.

  339. You're no longer subject to the flesh anymore.

  340. You're no longer subject to the devil anymore.

  341. You understand? Let's talk about rulers.

  342. Let's talk about authorities. Let's talk about powers.

  343. Let's talk about dominions. He said that they are.

  344. He is far above. Not just above, but what?

  345. Far above? I mean, it's like it's not even

  346. close. Not even close.

  347. None of you would never want to if, if Jesus Christ, if Jesus

  348. Christ was an athlete on a team, you would never want to go to

  349. his games because they would only be blowouts.

  350. They would only be blowouts because he's far above.

  351. He's far above. It's not even close.

  352. I said it's not even close. I saw this little parody where

  353. this little kid came to his mom and was upset because they

  354. played a Christian School and they said, you know, Jesus was

  355. working for the team. Y'all see that little thing

  356. isn't that funny? He's like, they got hurt and

  357. Jesus healed them. You know, that was really good.

  358. You can't win. I thought that was really funny,

  359. but that's how it is. You know, you praying, if you're

  360. playing against God, you can't win.

  361. I said you can't win if you're playing against God.

  362. You can't win because if God be for you, who can be against you?

  363. Listen, you have to, you have to get this vantage point that now

  364. that I'm in Christ, the things of this world are far below me.

  365. Now when I make that statement, I'm not saying that in a pride

  366. like yard beneath me. I'm saying that the issues that

  367. cause death and destruction are far beneath you.

  368. Far beneath you. If you get caught up in

  369. something, it's not because it had the power to run you down.

  370. You are letting it, you've heard it say before that you know,

  371. some teams are so good that they they can't be beat.

  372. They have to just lose the game. I mean, for Jesus to be

  373. defeated, he would just have to not participate.

  374. And so when things are happening in our lives, it's only because

  375. we're not participating. Because when you participate

  376. with Jesus, you are far above all, say all.

  377. There's no principality or power, none that can overtake

  378. you, none. So if you're in something today,

  379. you need to say man no more. You need to see that which has

  380. attacked you as weak and you have the ability to overcome it

  381. with such a victory that you'll forget you even had the battle.

  382. I said you'll forget you even had the battle.

  383. Hallelujah. Look what it says in Psalms

    Psalms 2 chapter mention

  384. chapter 2 verses one through 4. It says, Why do the nation's

  385. assemble with commotion, uproar with confusion of voices, right?

  386. And why do people imagine, meditate upon devices and empty

  387. scheme? The kings of the earth take

  388. their places, the rulers take counsel together against the

  389. Lord and his anointed. 1 The Messiah, the Christ.

  390. They say, let us break their bands of restraint asunder, and

  391. cast their cords of control from us.

  392. He who sits in it, the heavens, what does he do?

  393. Laughs. The Lord has them in derision

  394. and in supreme content. He mocks them.

  395. So you understand when the Lord is looking at what's going on in

  396. the planet and the attacks that nations are doing against His

  397. church, what is our Father doing?

  398. What's he doing? What's he doing?

  399. He's laughing, he's laughing, he laughs at it.

  400. Ha ha ha ha. He, he, he, he, he, he, he.

  401. He's a laugher, he's laughing. The only time you're going to

  402. get God over into grieving is when you as a child are not

  403. yielding to the overwhelming power he's already given you on

  404. the seat. Because he's not grieving over

  405. the nation's as far as that they're a legitimate threat.

  406. They're not a legitimate threat. They're not because he laughs at

  407. all their efforts. He's laughing at it because he

  408. knows, man, my power is far above all this rule, all this

  409. power, all this principality, all this power and dominion,

  410. it's over it all. It's not even close.

  411. And he's so merciful. I said he's so merciful because

  412. when it's time to bring wrath to the ones who don't yield to his

  413. mercy and receive him as their Lord, it's not a good day for

  414. them. It's not a good day because God

  415. has all power. I said he has all power.

  416. Isn't that amazing? I said, isn't that amazing?

  417. So he laughs. He goes on and says this, Now

  418. listen in Psalms, he's communicating of something to

  419. come because we're not talking about King David here.

  420. We're not talking about King David when he makes this

  421. statement in verse six. He says, yet the King of heaven,

  422. he, he says, yet I have appointed, installed in place my

  423. king, Say, my king firmly on my holy hill of Zion I will declare

  424. the decree of the Lord. And he said to me, You are my

  425. son. This day I declared, I have

  426. begotten you. What happened on the day when

  427. Jesus went down to the Jordan and John baptized him in the

  428. river, and when he came up, the heavens opened up and the Holy

  429. Spirit descended upon him? That's the anointing full

  430. measure. The anointing without measure

  431. came upon Jesus. Because that's what you do to

  432. kings, You anoint them. And then the Father decreed,

  433. This is my beloved Son, and whom I am well pleased.

  434. For God so loved the world, the systems of the world, that he

  435. gave his own only begotten Son. Who is this King of glory?

  436. Come on, who is this King of glory?

  437. He said, I've set him on the hill of Zion.

  438. I've placed him back in the earth.

  439. I have made him king of all the earth.

  440. My Mama, I said my Mama, he's made a, he's made him king, and

  441. he has established him as the head and not the tail.

  442. He's above and not beneath. He's never been defeated.

  443. He is placed on the seed of the power of the right hand of God.

  444. For what does it say in Luke 2269?

  445. But from now on, the Son of Man, one translation says the son of

  446. Adam, the Son of man will be seated at the right hand of the

  447. power of God. Man when he made this statement,

  448. they went ballistic. Now this is at his trial his his

  449. illegal trial that they had to be able to move him towards

  450. crucifixion. All right.

  451. And so he says the Son of man will be seated will be what?

  452. Come on, say it will be what? Seated at the right hand of the

  453. power of God? Well, if Jesus is seated there,

  454. where are you seated? Where are you seated?

  455. So how can you be inferior? Because again, he's already

  456. raised you up. Before you even confess Christ,

  457. His hope for you is that you would get to the place He sees

  458. you. This is His desire for you, that

  459. while you're yet a Sinner, He raised you up.

  460. That means He gave opportunity for you to get to that seat.

  461. All you have to do is call on the name of the Lord, and he'll

  462. transfer you out of the domain of darkness, walk you straight

  463. into the palace, take you straight to the throne of grace.

  464. You can go straight to the Father in His name, and you can

  465. go see Dad and sit at his right hand.

  466. Oh my gosh, He makes you worthy. You worthy to come.

  467. You're not walking into his throne room.

  468. Beat down, unworthy. I don't deserve.

  469. You're a child of the king. It is your seat.

  470. It has your name on it. It's a sign.

  471. Seating. It's a sign.

  472. See, you want to go to the Father?

  473. Come on, Brian, bring me that seat.

  474. You want to come to the Father? You want to go to him.

  475. You want to pray to your heavenly Father in the name of

  476. Jesus when you begin to commune with him, the Father is sitting

  477. on his throne in heaven. And the Bible tells us that we

  478. can boldly come before the throne of grace.

  479. So there's the seat of God right here.

  480. And when you come in prayer, we're going to kind of

  481. demonstrate you're like in essence, if you could see it in

  482. the Spirit that when you begin to say, Father in the name of

  483. Jesus, I come to you. If you could see, it's as if the

  484. Father's saying you've come into his, Oh my goodness, you've come

  485. into his course with Thanksgiving and pray.

  486. You understand you've come into his course because courts are in

  487. kingdoms, not religions. All right?

  488. You've come into his courts and you come to make your petition

  489. known. And when you walk into his

  490. court, this is what Dad says. Dad says son or daughter.

  491. Well, come on, get in your seat. Come talk to me.

  492. You're not talking to him from hey, Dad, you're not opening the

  493. door of the court and saying, Dad, are you there?

  494. Right? Because when he hears your

  495. voice, he says, we'll come on in.

  496. I got a seat for you. Get in your seat, son.

  497. So when I'm praying in Christ in the position, this is what it

  498. looks like in heaven. Hey, dad, he's right here.

  499. People like man, how close. I said I didn't feel like I'm

  500. close to God. If you only knew.

  501. When you begin to pray and go before the throne of grace in

  502. God, it's like you're seated right beside him.

  503. He's not hard to hear him because you're right by him.

  504. You have his ear. Hey, Dad, I just need to talk to

  505. you about a few things. Come on.

  506. Are you hearing me? You're seated at his right hand,

  507. I said. You're seated at his right hand,

  508. man, You need to have a seat. You need to take your seat.

  509. You need to rest in the seat he placed you.

  510. I mean, yes, you didn't deserve it.

  511. I get it. You didn't deserve it, I get it.

  512. But God always destined it from the original creation of Adam

  513. that we would have dominion and it would be our seat all the

  514. while. And when Adam left the seat, he

  515. abandoned the seat. The Lord says, I will send my

  516. son so that man can have his seat again.

  517. And those who call on the name of the Lord, it's not like,

  518. well, you know, because again, what do we do when we try to, we

  519. get really religious in our humility, right?

  520. Really religious in our humility.

  521. And I won't do this because I don't want to take the cameras

  522. off, but we want to run to the back and sit there and act like

  523. that's humility. But the God never saw you in the

  524. back of the room. Even in your trespasses and sin,

  525. He doesn't see you in the back of the room.

  526. It was never where you were supposed to feel like you

  527. deserve. He's telling you your worth.

  528. I'm where I'm at today. Not because of me, not because

  529. what I think, what I feel. I just want to be where he told

  530. me. And he said, son, this is your

  531. seat. Have a seat.

  532. Have a seat, son. Well, Dad, that's right beside

  533. you. Yeah, I know.

  534. That's your chair, daughter. That's your chair.

  535. That's your chair. This has been your chair before.

  536. The foundations of the world. Oh my goodness, are you hearing

  537. what I'm saying? If we go on to this same Psalm,

  538. Psalms chapter 2, verses 10:50, it says therefore now, O kings,

    Psalms 2 chapter mention

  539. plural, well, who are these kings?

  540. I said, who are these kings? He said, act wisely, be

  541. instructed and warned. O you rulers of the of the what?

  542. What are you supposed to be doing right now?

  543. You're supposed to be ruling and reigning now.

  544. You don't have to wait to get to heaven to rule and reign.

  545. You're to rule and reign now. You're his kings in the earth.

  546. You have access to his throne in heaven.

  547. You are spiritually positioned and seated at the right hand of

  548. the Father, at the right hand of power because that's the seed of

  549. Christ and you are in Christ, which now enables you to be at a

  550. function as a king of the earth. This is why he says act wisely,

  551. have instruction. This is why the the Paul in the

  552. Ephesians said that you would receive a spirit of wisdom and

  553. revelation. Why?

  554. Because kings must know what the Father is saying.

  555. Because what He wants done in His rulership in heaven, He

  556. wants it to manifest on the earth through His children,

  557. which are His kings. And if you want His will to be

  558. done in the earth as it is in heaven, then you need to take a

  559. seat. He says serve the Lord with

  560. reverent awe and Worshipful fear, rejoice and be in high

  561. spheres with trembling, lest you displease Him.

  562. And the only way you're at you displease the Lord is if you're

  563. not in faith. Without faith, it's impossible

  564. to please him. And faith comes by hearing and

  565. hearing from the word of God. And that faith is being a doer

  566. of what you heard. And when you do what he says,

  567. he's not displeased because he's like, you're the kings of the

  568. earth. I'm the king in heaven.

  569. And I've authorized you in the name of Jesus.

  570. The seat that you're seated on, the seat that's at the right

  571. hand of my power, I've authorized you to perform, to

  572. do, and to expand my Kingdom. You are the light of the world,

  573. so we have to now set our minds to the one who sits on the

  574. throne because our seat is not here, our seats up in heaven.

  575. Our authority is from there, but it extends into here.

  576. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Look what it says in Colossians

    Colossians 3 chapter mention

  577. chapter 3 verses one through 3. It says this.

  578. Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep

  579. seeking the things above where Christ is, and where is Christ

  580. seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above,

  581. not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and

  582. your life is hidden with Christ in God.

  583. The Rick Renner or which is the Renner interpretive version, It

  584. says this. Since then you are raised

  585. together with Christ, earnestly and intensely seek the things

  586. that are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

  587. Focus your mind on the many things that are above and don't

  588. get stuck in low level thinking about temporary things here on

  589. the earth. Can I get an Amen?

  590. Don't get stuck in low level things.

  591. Are you hearing me? So what does this tell me?

  592. It gave me this, this illustration in my mind.

  593. I am seated at the right hand of the Father in heavenly places.

  594. I have access, not just I mean, I have access to sit by, not

  595. just to show up in a small corner, not to be on the fringe.

  596. I'm talking right next to him. And man, when you're here,

  597. unless you're just deaf and cannot hear at all, you are.

  598. How will you miss what he's saying?

  599. He's right here. And I don't mean that in a

  600. derogatory manner. I'm just saying he's right here.

  601. I mean, we're this close. OK, Wait till we get to the next

  602. verse. But we got to keep our minds set

  603. on things above, because we're the kings of the earth.

  604. We are to draw our wisdom from above.

  605. And this is what I see believers do.

  606. Because remember, what's about our King, who's seated on his

  607. throne? He looks at the nations and they

  608. devise all kinds of plans against him, against his nation,

  609. against his son and against his church.

  610. And all the while he's watching it, it doesn't escape his

  611. notice. He doesn't say, oh, I didn't

  612. realize they were going to do that.

  613. Wow. Didn't realize that plan was

  614. going to take place. Didn't realize they were going

  615. to come in and try to take them out that way.

  616. Right. He knows.

  617. He's aware of everything. And while he's seeing it, what's

  618. he doing? Come on, what's he doing?

  619. He's laughing. I said he's laughing.

  620. But what we do, if we quit looking and setting our mind as

  621. the encouraging words this this morning in worship, if we start

  622. to look in the world and set our minds on what's going on here,

  623. then this is typically what we look like.

  624. Oh, I just can't. Have you ever seen somebody get

  625. upset and then all of a sudden they just they get up, They get

  626. up by that seat. You know what's going on?

  627. Oh, and you jump up like, I'm going to do something.

  628. Well, you need to have a seat. The Lord's like, come on, just

  629. have a seat. Don't let that bother you.

  630. You just need to have a seat, right?

  631. Just look at you and say, you need to have a seat, man.

  632. You need to rest. Because we get in a situation

  633. where we jump up, we get a report, we have cancer.

  634. We jump up. You know, something's going on

  635. with our kids, We jump up. Something's going on in the

  636. world, we jump up. Something happens with our

  637. money, we jump up. We get all fretful and fearful

  638. and anxious. We jump up out of that seat and

  639. we're like, oh, what are we going to do?

  640. What are we going? The Lord's like, son, just have

  641. a seat. Have a seat, son.

  642. Come on, let me get you and get you laughing about this deal.

  643. Amen. Because the place to sit the

  644. most is when you're having personal attacks because this

  645. Psalms references, they are railing against him personally

  646. and he's just laughing. He laughs at it because he knows

  647. it's not going to come to naughty.

  648. It's not going to come to pass because you know why He has the

  649. final say on the matter. And so you need to stay in your

  650. seat. Why?

  651. Because he's going to want to talk to you.

  652. He's going to want to tell you as the king what to say.

  653. Look at this in Hebrews chapter 10, starting in verse 12, we'll

    Hebrews 10 chapter mention

  654. read out the amplified. It says this whereas this one

  655. Christ after he had offered a single sacrifice for our sins

  656. that shall avail at all time sat down at the right hand of the of

  657. God. Jesus is not jumping around now

  658. we have 1 recorded instance of him standing up and that is that

  659. Stevens being martyred because as Steven stayed in his seat of

  660. authority God Jesus stood up and applauded him.

  661. Are you hearing me? OK but he sits at the right hand

  662. of God. Then verse 13, to wait until His

  663. enemies should be put made a footstool under his feet, for by

  664. a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and

  665. perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.

  666. And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us in

  667. confirmation of this. For having said this is the

  668. agreement, the testament, the covenant that I will set up and

  669. conclude with them after those days, says the Lord, meaning the

  670. Spirit is put inside us to bear witness with our spirit.

  671. We are children of God. But not just that.

  672. Look what it does. I will imprint my laws upon

  673. their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds, on their

  674. innermost thoughts and understanding.

  675. He's saying, listen, stay in the seat, think like a king.

  676. Stay in the seat, think like a king.

  677. When things are coming, stay in the seat think like a king time

  678. I going to respond thing like a king.

  679. What's going Let me think I, I keep my mind focused on things

  680. above any circumstance that comes on into our life for like

  681. how do you want to handle this? How do you want me to respond?

  682. What do you want me to do? And what's so awesome He has

  683. left me a documentation called the Holy Bible that allows me to

  684. see his character, his way of doing things.

  685. Do you understand that? Because I am always going to

  686. respond biblically. The greatest 3 words you can say

  687. in any issue that you face is it is written.

  688. Because if you'll go to it is written, it won't be.

  689. This is how you made me feel, this is how I feel.

  690. This is what you did. I can't forgive you.

  691. You can't even go those places. It is written.

  692. It is written because that's the voice of the King, because he is

  693. the word of God and he's written this in our hearts and on our

  694. minds. Why?

  695. Because he says, listen, your born again experience was not

  696. about going to heaven. It was about becoming a child of

  697. God and reigning as a king. Now, because we are been given

  698. this rulership far above all, not only in this age but also in

  699. the one to come, there's two more ages still to come.

  700. Two more, the millennial reign and then the eternal reign, and

  701. this transitions into both ages. Hallelujah.

  702. Are you hearing what I'm saying? So I close with this verse.

  703. Revelations 21. Five.

  704. Just tell your neighbor, have a seat.

  705. And he who sits on the throne, behold, I'm making all things

  706. new. And he said right.

  707. For these words are faithful and true.

  708. I'm so glad that Jesus came so that I could be placed back in

  709. the original seat that was destined for man or for

  710. humanity, and that is the seat to reign with God, to reign with

  711. him. And so I just rest in his seat.

  712. You understand, when you are seated in that kind of power,

  713. what can man do to you? You just, Hey dad, I need to

  714. talk. I got some stuff happening and

  715. he says, son, what's going on? Because I can guarantee you

  716. there's nothing you're going through that we have not already

  717. conquered. Without a doubt, we got this

  718. thing whipped. We just sit down and say, dad,

  719. what are you saying about this? He's going to say, son, this is

  720. what you do. And then from this seat, if you

  721. say what Dad said, and if you say anything the dad says, then

  722. dad performs his own word. I said he performs his own word.

  723. And he always delivers the righteous out of all their

  724. trouble, out of all their trouble.

  725. Hallelujah. Please let us renew our minds to

  726. who we are in Christ. I didn't say this.

  727. The Bible said this, that you are such a superior being in

  728. Christ that you are far above these things.

  729. He placed you there. He doesn't even want if you'll

  730. get. It's not even a fight in compare

  731. when you recognize the position you're in, then it's easy for

  732. you to endure and persevere to your flesh, it's a struggle to

  733. your mind and emotions it can struggle.

  734. But if you'll stay in the word and the Spirit, it all begins to

  735. just fade. And ma'am, when I do that, the

  736. problems just keep getting lower and lower and lower and lower

  737. and lower. And you just have this

  738. confidence. Like, watch out now, Daddy's

  739. here, Daddy's with me. Daddy's with me because Daddy's

  740. for me. He cares for me.

  741. He placed me here. I have a right to win.

  742. I'm going to say that again. You and I have a right to win.

  743. You have a right because Dad said you're in his seat.

  744. And I've never seen Jesus defeated.

  745. Never. He's never lost.

  746. But you can't.
