  1. I want to focus on the next point, but I want to read out of

  2. John. I did not read this last week

  3. and I want to read this about out of John 21 verses 15 through

    John 21:15–17

  4. 17, John 2115 through 17. It says this.

  5. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon,

  6. Peter, Simon son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?

  7. And he said to him, yes Lord, you know that I love you.

  8. And he said to him, feed my lambs.

  9. Now, this is Jesus, right, talking to Peter who is getting

  10. ready to what? Help usher in the church and

  11. help usher in the church. And he's listen to what?

  12. Listen to the discourse that he's having with Peter.

  13. He said to him, feed my lambs. Now look at this.

  14. He's letting him know we're getting ready to usher in the

  15. church because we know on the day of Pentecost, right, 3000

  16. were added to the church and we see that now we have a bunch of

  17. baby lambs. Lambs are babies.

  18. They're baby sheep. So look at the process of him

  19. talking to Peter. Listen, you're going to have to

  20. feed my little babies. You're going to have to feed my

  21. lambs. He and and look at the

  22. progression. And he said to him again a

  23. second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?

  24. And he said, yes, Lord, you know that I love you.

  25. And he said to him, tend my sheep again.

  26. Now you're not a lamb, you're a sheep, which again shows us that

  27. growth process that he expects for his sheeple, right?

  28. That we are to grow and mature. And no matter the place of

  29. growth that we're in, he still wants us to be fed.

  30. He still wants us to be tended to.

  31. He still wants us to be cared for.

  32. And he see this example of what he's showing him.

  33. And then he goes on to say, and he said to him a third time,

  34. Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?

  35. And Peter was grieved because he said to him a third time, do you

  36. love me? And he said to him, Lord, you

  37. know all things, you know that I love you.

  38. And Jesus said to him, look at here feed my sheep.

  39. This is and this one right here. Feed my sheep is a place of

  40. maturity. No matter what age you get, God

  41. wants you to have a shepherd in your life to feed you, to care

  42. for you, to take care of you, to help guide you, to help lead you

  43. into the right pastures. Amen.

  44. Hallelujah. And so I just wanted to read

  45. that one to you guys again because he's he's breaking it

  46. down for Peter. That's getting ready to have to

  47. pastor this church, that's getting ready to come in in the

  48. book of Acts. OK, look at Isaiah 4011.

  49. Isaiah 4011 out of the amplified.

  50. It says this. He will protect his flock like a

  51. shepherd, and He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry

  52. them in His bosom, and He will gently, carefully lead those

  53. nursing their young. Look at the care or the nature

  54. of the shepherd here. Think about this with your Walt,

  55. with the Lord as He is your shepherd.

  56. Think about how he wants to care for you no matter what you're

  57. going through. Think about how He just wants to

  58. bring you into his bosom and love you and care for you and

  59. guide you and protect you all the days of your life.

  60. Amen. And so let's go to the next

  61. point of Psalms 23 #4 It says this, that He refreshes and

  62. restores my soul. He refreshes and restores my

  63. soul. The Good Shepherd, the Chief

  64. Shepherd, the Great Shepherd always wants restoration in your

  65. life. Always.

  66. He always wants to bring restoration, period.

  67. He wants to restore to you what the devil has stolen from your

  68. life. He wants to bring restoration to

  69. you spiritually. He wants to bring restoration to

  70. you physically. He wants to bring restoration to

  71. you mentally. That's where he says he restores

  72. your soul, your mind, your will, and your emotions.

  73. He wants them restored from the trauma that you may have

  74. experienced and that probably every single one of us has

  75. experienced. No matter how good of a life we

  76. may have thought we lived, if it was done outside of Christ, we

  77. were damaged. Period.

  78. And he wants to restore it all back to us, Every bit of it.

  79. Every bit of it because He's a loving, loving Father and He

  80. loves us. Amen.

  81. So he wants to restore. He wants to restore

  82. relationships that have, I know many of you that had broken

  83. relationships that before you came to this church.

  84. And God has redeemed and restored relationships that you

  85. thought you would never have again with your children, with

  86. your family. Come on, He wants to bring

  87. restoration to relationships. That's why no matter what we

  88. encounter with one another, restoration should always be the

  89. first thing that we want in whatever situation it is that

  90. we're going through, because that is the heart of our

  91. shepherd. Restoration period,

  92. reconciliation period. That's what he wants in our

  93. lives. He wants us to be restored

  94. materially. He wants us to be restored

  95. individually, right? I mean, it's so personal in all

  96. arenas of our life. He wants full restoration.

  97. He wants original intent. He wants an original intent to

  98. where there was no barrier between you and God ever again

  99. because of anything that you had experienced from the sin nature

  100. or from the tyrannical rule of the devil.

  101. He wants it all restored, and right here is where most of that

  102. restoration has to take place, right here.

  103. And so first Peter 225 says this, for you were continually

  104. wandering like so many sheep, but now you have come back to

  105. the shepherd, the guardian of your souls.

  106. You see that you've come back to the Shepherd and now his number

  107. one thing in your life as the Good Shepherd and seeing him in

  108. this facet of, of God is that he wants to be the guardian of your

  109. soul to bring restoration in every wicked, twisted, messed up

  110. thought that you may have about yourself.

  111. He wants it restored. He doesn't want you to have a

  112. messed up, twisted mind of inferiority, of insecurities, of

  113. rejection. He doesn't want any of that for

  114. your life anymore. He wants to restore it, and if

  115. we allow him to be the guardian of it, guess what he'll do?

  116. He'll lead us and guide us and give us.

  117. He'll feed us what we need for every one of those things, those

  118. thoughts to eradicate them so that you never have to look at

  119. yourself like that again. You'll never have to think about

  120. yourself like that again. You'll forget.

  121. That's the old man. He's dead.

  122. I don't even remember that anymore because you know what?

  123. That is not me. That is not who I am.

  124. You see what I'm saying? So he wants to be the guardian

  125. of our soul, and he wants complete restoration in all of

  126. these areas in our life. Look at Acts chapter 3, verses

    Acts 3:19–21

  127. 19 through 21. Acts 319 through 21, it says

  128. this. So repent, change your inner

  129. self. I love the way that it says this

  130. about repentance here because again, a lot of times we can get

  131. in a place of thinking repentance is only about things

  132. we can do outside. You know what I mean?

  133. Like, I've got to change this behavior, but change behavior

  134. only starts from the inside. Changed behavior only starts

  135. from the inside, period. When you do it from the outside,

  136. it's behavioral modification. Isn't that what we teach our

  137. teen, our kids at Washington? What's going on in your heart

  138. that's making you do this behavior?

  139. And we don't want to deal with behavioral modification.

  140. We want to deal with what's going on in the inner man to

  141. make a real change. And when you realize that that's

  142. what God wants to do in your life, works won't even be a part

  143. of your thinking because you'll realize I can't do anything out

  144. here to change anything. I can only do it here.

  145. And then when I do it here, it's going to change what's out here.

  146. See what I'm saying? So that's why I like the way

  147. this reads out of the Amplified. Here in Acts 3/19/21 it says so

  148. change your inner self, your old way of what thinking?

  149. Regret past sins and return to God.

  150. Seek His purpose for your life so that your sins would be wiped

  151. away and blotted out completely erased, right?

  152. Because this is the favorable year of the Lord.

  153. This is the church age, the age of grace, the the, the age where

  154. mercy is ever present. His love is always available.

  155. Hallelujah. Judgment will come one day, but

  156. it's not that dispensation yet, right?

  157. So again, when we realize what he's saying here and it, it all

  158. has to do with what's going on in the heart.

  159. Because remember God saying man looks at the outside, but God

  160. looks at the heart. It's always been about what's

  161. going on in here because what you see out here is a direct

  162. result of what's going on in here.

  163. OK, so it says your sins have been blotted out.

  164. That's why he says, you know that this is the the Jubilee

  165. year, so to speak. Remember we talked about that,

  166. about the anointing, Your sins has been blotted out completely

  167. erased. So that what times of refreshing

  168. you see this? So that times of refreshing may

  169. come from the presence of the Lord.

  170. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He wants to refresh your soul.

  171. He wants to restore your soul. He wants you to be able to

  172. experience refreshing at all times within your life, so that

  173. for refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

  174. Listen to this in the amplified restoring you like a cool wind

  175. on a hot day. Hallelujah, that's what He'll do

  176. in your life for you. Glory to God, He'll come in and

  177. bring a time of a wind blowing through and just refreshing your

  178. soul. Come on, He can do a new thing

  179. in you if you'll just look to Him as your shepherd.

  180. Hallelujah. Oh, he's my shepherd.

  181. Come on. And you know what?

  182. There's going to be times of refreshing and the restoration

  183. of my soul. And you know what's so good

  184. about this is that you can have it constantly.

  185. If the Holy Ghost, if you are born again and the Holy Ghost

  186. lives on the inside of you, come on, then you have access to the

  187. refreshing at all times. At all times, no matter what

  188. you're going through, glory to God, you can have a time of

  189. refreshing for your soul. And what is so awesome about

  190. this is because listen, he knows that we are in a fallen broken

  191. world. And he even said, and James, in

  192. this world, in this life, you will enter trials, tribulations,

  193. There's gonna be circumstances. Just because we're born again

  194. doesn't mean that we have no problems.

  195. No, we're walking in a fallen, broken world with a lot of

  196. people that still have sin nature.

  197. Wickedness is prevailing. He the devil is still the God of

  198. this world and all of his systems.

  199. That's why I'm telling you, in these last days, we have to

  200. guard our heart even more for having compassion on people.

  201. Because, you know, I just was told this very night that people

  202. that had put out Amendment 4 signs in their yard, listen,

  203. This is why I'm telling you this.

  204. They put out these signs in their yard and every day they'd

  205. come out and they were missing. So somebody was yanking them up.

  206. So he was out one day looking and seeing it missing and

  207. somebody drove by him and screamed out at him.

  208. I hope your daughter gets one day that is pure evil and

  209. wickedness. And thank God this guy from our

  210. church had the Holy Ghost on the inside of him to restrain

  211. himself. But that makes you not want to

  212. have compassion, because if I love you, Lord, that he would

  213. say that that he wished that guy's daughter would be raped

  214. one day. I sometimes wish we were still

  215. back in the old covenant, but I'm working on my compassion.

  216. Y'all? Don't get me started.

  217. See what I hear before we come in to minister the word and I'm

  218. dealing with compassion and then they don't tell me something

  219. like that. This is the real world we're

  220. living in. And so every day we're going to

  221. have to choose again, we know this, to put on love, but not

  222. only putting on love, putting on and seeing people with the

  223. compassion that our Good Shepherd had for them.

  224. Because if they don't repent, right?

  225. So where was I at? Yes, so that times of refreshing

  226. may come from the presence of the Lord restoring you like a

  227. cool wind on a hot day, and that you may send to and that he may

  228. send to you Jesus Christ, who has a been appointed for you

  229. from heaven and must keep until the time.

  230. Listen to this for complete restoration of all things about

  231. which God promised through the mouth of his holy prophets from

  232. the ancient of times. It's always been about

  233. restoring, restoring always back to the original intent that He

  234. had for man. Complete restoration.

  235. Complete restoration and so we have to focus on that about and

  236. from our Good Shepherd that listen, if things are still

  237. going on in our lives, you know what he wants us restored.

  238. He wants us restored. Hallelujah.

  239. Psalms 5110 says create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a

  240. right steadfast spirit within me.

  241. You see that renew a right steadfast spirit within me

  242. because we're going to have to do that as long as we are

  243. walking in this earth. And as the day grows darker and

  244. sins abounding, yes, his light abounds even more, but that

  245. doesn't mean that we're not going to.

  246. We have to make sure we don't become desynthesized to the

  247. wickedness and the sin. Because that's when we'll lose

  248. our compassion, you see that? That's when we'll lose it if we

  249. become desynthesized to it. Psalms 51 and 12, restore to me

  250. the joy of your salvation and uphold me by your generous

  251. spirit. You see that restore, even your

  252. salvation needs to be restored. You have to stir yourself up.

  253. You have to stir your salvation up.

  254. You have to stir it up. That's why he says you can't

  255. forget what the blood, the price, the blood is paid for

  256. you, right? And you have to stir up the fact

  257. that I'm born again, that I'm saved.

  258. Come on and remember where I was to stir up the fact I'm born

  259. again, I'm saved, I have joy, I'm excited that I am the Lord's

  260. Amen, Hallelujah. Because if we don't stir it up,

  261. This is why people what they call backslide.

  262. But He wants to refresh you. He wants to bring joy In the

  263. midst of times in your life that maybe you feel dry or you're not

  264. excited about your life in Christ anymore, Well, guess

  265. what? You never have to not be.

  266. All you have to do is stir it back up and ask the Holy Spirit,

  267. the Good Shepherd, Amen, to help restore unto you the joy, the

  268. excitement of your salvation, that I'm saved, I'm born again,

  269. I'm Spirit filled. Come on, Hallelujah, I'm

  270. redeemed from the curse. Come on, I'm redeemed from the

  271. curse of the law, Glory to God, Hallelujah.

  272. And I'm excited. We have to stir it up.

  273. We have to stir it up. Jeremiah 3017 says this.

  274. For I will restore again. I'm letting you see all the

  275. areas of life that he wants to restore you.

  276. And for I will restore even your health, and I will heal you of

  277. all your wounds, declares the Lord, because they have called

  278. you an outcast, saying it is I and no one cares for her.

  279. Listen, He wants to restore even your health in your body.

  280. Everything come on your physical body.

  281. I'm telling you that's why you can again every year be being

  282. restored. You go home to your you know,

  283. your what are they called reunions, family reunions or

  284. high school reunions and you look at people that aren't born

  285. again and you looking good. They're broke down on every

  286. medicine known to man. Come on.

  287. They look can't barely even walk at your age.

  288. Look all beat up, tattered, broken.

  289. Come on. And you got to remind yourself

  290. of that. No, I'm strong in the Lord and

  291. the power of his might. He brought health and healing to

  292. me to restore my body so that I can be running like Caleb and

  293. Joshua. Come on, in my 80s and taking a

  294. mountain and that's what he wants, complete restoration in

  295. your body. Hallelujah, health and healing

  296. because we're going to see here in a minute.

  297. You going to walk through some shadows?

  298. I know people that's walk through the shadow of death.

  299. Hallelujah. But they had to had to call on

  300. the Good Shepherd. Come on.

  301. So Isaiah 40 says this, and 29 through 31 says he gives

  302. strength to the weary, and to him who has no might he

  303. increases power. Even youths grow weary and

  304. tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly.

  305. But those who wait on the Lord, who expect and look for and hope

  306. in, will gain new strength and renew their power.

  307. Oh Hallelujah. They will lift up their wings

  308. and rise up to close up close to God, like eagles rising toward

  309. the sun. They will run and not grow

  310. weary. They will walk and not grow

  311. tired and will not grow tired. So your strength, your body can

  312. be renewed day by day, day by day, day by day.

  313. Hallelujah. So He leads me #5 He leads me in

  314. the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

  315. So here is a promise of guidance that he will always be there to

  316. lead and guide you because that's what a shepherd does,

  317. period. That is one of his main

  318. assignments is to lead and guide the sheep also so that they

  319. don't fall off the Cliff. Come on, So they don't fall off

  320. in a Creek and get their things all.

  321. Have you seen? I saw a meme, you know,

  322. scrolling through those reels and I saw a meme of a sheep.

  323. And I can't remember what the little the little saying was,

  324. but the sheep was trying to run and jump over the Creek, but he

  325. kept falling in the Creek. And so he pulled the shepherd

  326. pulls him out and he takes off and runs again and tries to run,

  327. run over or jump over the same Creek and falls in the Creek.

  328. So again, God is there to help us, to lead us into places that

  329. we're not going to fail. We're not going to fail if we'll

  330. trust in him to lead us and guide us as a Good Shepherd.

  331. And he's going to, like I said, always lead us to a place of

  332. security, to a place of rest. He's always going to lead us to

  333. peace. He's always going to lead us to

  334. restoration. This is how he's leading us.

  335. He's always leading us into green pastures where we can be

  336. sure that we are going to get fed properly, that we're going

  337. to be able to lie in those green pastures and kick our feet back.

  338. Come on. Because he's provided everything

  339. for us. That's where he's leading us.

  340. He's not leading us to a place of lack or want.

  341. He's leading us to paths of everything that we need,

  342. everything. That's how he leads us and

  343. that's how he guides us. And so He's leading us into

  344. paths of righteousness for his namesake so that He can be

  345. glorified, so that when people see how you're always being led

  346. by God in every situation and coming out on top and people

  347. recognize me. And you just went through this

  348. situation and, and, and you ought to say, but I didn't go

  349. through it alone because I had a guide.

  350. I had a helper. Come on.

  351. I had a Good Shepherd that was leading me into places of

  352. righteousness, that was leading me into victory.

  353. Come on, that was leading me into the good places.

  354. Glory to God, not into the dry wilderness.

  355. Hallelujah. No, the only time we saw people

  356. going into the dry wilderness is because they wanted to stay

  357. there. But He's going to lead us and

  358. guide us into places of refreshing, into good pastures.

  359. Amen. Romans 814.

  360. This is why it's so wonderful that we have been given the Holy

  361. Spirit, Amen. For all who are allowing

  362. themselves, listen to that, who are allowing themselves.

  363. Because we cannot allow ourselves to be LED.

  364. Don't be a goat. Because, you know, there's

  365. sheeple and there's goats right here.

  366. They haven't been separated yet. But I don't want to talk about

  367. the stubborn goats anyway, because I have compassion.

  368. So we want to be let. We want to allow Him to lead us

  369. into the right places at the right time.

  370. Come on in the right season, doing the right thing so that

  371. His name can be glorified at all times through our lives.

  372. So that when people see us, they can see us always on top and

  373. never on the bottom. Come on, isn't that what he

  374. said? We'll be above and not beneath.

  375. Come on, if you'll just simply follow Him, you'll be blessed,

  376. and if you don't, there's a curse.

  377. Proverbs 36 says this in all your ways.

  378. Know and acknowledge and recognize Him and He will make

  379. your paths. What straight?

  380. He'll make them straight. He's not there to confuse you,

  381. to get you lost, to get you down a road that you don't know where

  382. you're at. Get you lost.

  383. No, he's going to lead you straight there on a straight

  384. path, and you'll be able listen to what it says.

  385. A straight and smooth, removing all obstacles that block your

  386. way. He's going to he's going to

  387. remove those things that are standing in your way.

  388. And we know we have been given authority to speak to anything

  389. that would try to act like it's going to stand in my way.

  390. So he's going to do it if we'll allow him and if we'll

  391. acknowledge him in all of our ways in every situation that

  392. we're going through. Psalms 32 and 8 says this.

  393. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.

  394. I will counsel you who are willing to what?

  395. Learn. So you got to be willing to

  396. allow him to lead you, and then you've got to be willing to

  397. learn his way and to learn of him.

  398. Amen. Hallelujah.

  399. Because you don't want to be a stubborn goat.

  400. Psalms 119 and 1:05 it says this.

  401. Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light to my path.

  402. Psalms 3723 says this The steps of a good here it is and

  403. righteous man are directed and established by the Lord and he

  404. delights in his way and blesses his path.

  405. Hallelujah. See, there's blessings on the

  406. path that you're allowing him to lead you.

  407. But if you want to lead your own life and go down your own path

  408. and way of doing things because you like it and because you want

  409. to do it and you want to continue to do this, then guess

  410. what? You're going to have the result

  411. of that path of your own way. And we know the result of the

  412. paths that we used to be on. Come on.

  413. And they were always bringing us to a place of a dead end.

  414. The drugs, the alcohol, come on the the the girls, the guys

  415. always leading us to a place of a dead end.

  416. The money come on the position always leading us to a place of

  417. the dead end. Because we weren't following the

  418. right person. We weren't following the right

  419. path. And many of us got off, and you

  420. can still get off. You can still get off and get on

  421. your own path and do it your own way.

  422. And all you're going to have is death and destruction.

  423. Because whatsoever a man soweth, so how he so shall he reap.

  424. And that is still applicable in the New Testament and in the New

  425. Covenant, even though you're born again.

  426. Because he says if you sow to the flesh of doing it your own

  427. way, guess what? You're going to reap the flesh,

  428. which leads to destruction. If you sow, sow to the Spirit,

  429. which is of him, come on then guess what, you're going to reap

  430. of the Spirit of life. Hallelujah.

  431. Still a principle in the earth today, even though you're born

  432. again. So we get to make the choice.

  433. Even still after we've chosen Jesus, we still get to make the

  434. choice if we're going to live following Him or still living

  435. and doing it our own way. Nothing changes with that.

  436. OK, so we have to understand that we must be led by him.

  437. Now let me read this. Psalms 31 Three.

  438. Are y'all good? It says this.

  439. Yes. You are my rock and my fortress.

  440. For your name's sake. You listen to that.

  441. For your name's sake, You will lead me and guide me.

  442. We can trust in the fact that He will lead us and He will guide

  443. us into places of righteousness. Or what I also would like to

  444. say, He's going to lead us and guide us in every situation into

  445. victory, into victory. That's where He's going to lead

  446. us and that's where He's going to guide us into a place of

  447. victory. No matter what we're going on,

  448. if we'll be led by him, if we'll let Him lead, if we'll put him

  449. out front and say lead me, Lord, I need your leading in this.

  450. Come on. Because I know where I want to

  451. go and I know what I want to do, but that's going to not be a

  452. good result. So I want victory in this

  453. situation. So I'm acknowledging you that

  454. you want to lead me down the right path as my Good Shepherd.

  455. 2nd Corinthians 214 But thanks be to God, who always leads us

  456. into triumph. Hallelujah, This is the Good

  457. Shepherd. He's never going to lead you

  458. into a place of defeat. Come on.

  459. He's never going to lead you into a place of destruction.

  460. He's never going to lead you into a place of abandonment, but

  461. he's always going to lead you into a place of triumph in every

  462. situation in your life. Hallelujah.

  463. A place of victory, glory to God, a place of overcoming.

  464. Come on, come on. A place of rising above that

  465. situation. Glory to God because we've been

  466. given the reigning spirit on the inside of us.

  467. Hallelujah. So everywhere I go, I'm going to

  468. reign. Come on, I'm going to triumph,

  469. I'm going to overcome. Come on, all the the

  470. circumstances, all the trials, all the things that we have to

  471. still walk through in this life until he returns.

  472. But we can walk in victory. We can walk in triumph.

  473. We can walk overcoming, Come on. And never being in a place of

  474. destruction, glory to God. Last point that I just want to

  475. cover tonight before we close is a place of security.

  476. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I

  477. will fear no evil, for you are with me.

  478. I don't care who else is with me.

  479. I want to know that God is with me no matter what's going on.

  480. I don't even care if my husband's with me.

  481. I just want my Good Shepherd, come on, my great Shepherd with

  482. me, my Lord, my Shepherd, I want him with me no matter what I'm

  483. walking through because I don't have to fear anything.

  484. I don't have to fear anything. So he says, listen, even though

  485. you're walking through the valley of the shadow of death, I

  486. will fear no evil. For you are with me, you're with

  487. me. That's why he's a man.

  488. You will. God with us, He's with us, He's

  489. for us, He's in US. Glory to God, Hallelujah, He's

  490. with us so we don't have to fear no matter what we're walking

  491. through. And look at this.

  492. Look what it says though. You walk through the valley of

  493. the shadow of death. We're going to walk in this life

  494. through mountains and valleys, period.

  495. We're going to be walking through.

  496. We're going to walk through mountains and we're going to

  497. walk through valleys. And you know what?

  498. We're going to walk still in this fallen world again, where

  499. he says there's going to be trials, there's going to be

  500. tests, there's going to be tribulations.

  501. There's going to be things that's going to take place

  502. because the world is still in the fallen state.

  503. But look what he says. You're going to walk through it.

  504. He never intends you to live in it.

  505. Whatever has happened in your life, as long as you can still

  506. get up, you may fall. Come on, 7 times. 70, come on.

  507. But if you'll just get back up, get up out of the valley, come

  508. on up. The shadow of death that's

  509. keeping death surrounding you. The shadows there, it's like a

  510. cloud following you. But you're stuck there.

  511. You want to be there. But if you'll just say no, I'm

  512. supposed to be walking through this.

  513. I'm not supposed to be here, I'm supposed to be walking through

  514. it and it's just a shadow and I don't have to fear because God

  515. is with me. God is with me.

  516. Psalms 3415 and 22 says this. The eyes of the Lord are towards

  517. the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

  518. The face of the Lord is against evil doers to cut off the memory

  519. of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord

  520. hears him, and what does He do? And He delivers them out of all

  521. of their troubles, because that's what He is.

  522. As a Good Shepherd. He is going to deliver you out

  523. of all of your troubles. He is going to restore back to

  524. you anything that you may. Look what he did with Job.

  525. Come on. Job got double for his trouble.

  526. What was God's heart there? That he would be restored.

  527. That he would be restored. And he was, because he never

  528. spoke against God, even though everybody around him wanted him

  529. to curse him. So look what he says.

  530. He says, listen, I'm here to deliver you out of all of your

  531. troubles. No matter what you're going

  532. through. It may look like death to you.

  533. It's a shadow. Remember that first.

  534. It's just a shadow. And I'm here to deliver you out

  535. of it so you don't even have to fear that this thing can take

  536. you out. But it'll only take you out if

  537. you stay there and you don't keep walking if you don't keep

  538. doing what you know you're supposed to be doing, right?

  539. Listen to what He says. He says the Lord is near to the

  540. broken hearted. Isn't that what he said?

  541. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.

  542. What he's anointed me to what? Heal the broken hearted.

  543. So the Lord is always He's near to the broken hearted, and He

  544. saves those who are crushed in spirit.

  545. Many are the afflictions of the righteous.

  546. Listen to what He says. But the Lord delivers them out

  547. of them all. He did not promise us that we

  548. were not going to have afflictions.

  549. He did not promise us that we were not going to have issues

  550. that we would still have to deal with while we were in this

  551. earth. But you know what He did promise

  552. us that He would deliver us from all of them.

  553. He deliver us. You know why?

  554. Because He is love. He loves us.

  555. He cares for us. He's a Good Shepherd,

  556. Hallelujah, and he does not want his people in a place of

  557. destruction, only restoration, says verse 21.

  558. Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous

  559. will be condemned. But the Lord redeems the soul of

  560. his servants, and none of those who take refuge in him or and

  561. none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

  562. Hallelujah. So he wants to deliver us from

  563. all of our problems. Hallelujah.

  564. Psalms 118 six. The Lord is for me.

  565. That's that needs to just be your confession.

  566. The Lord is for me. He is not against me.

  567. The Lord is for me. Isn't that a simple confession

  568. that we could say every day? The Lord's for me.

  569. He's for me because I'm the righteous and He loves me.

  570. He's for me, Hallelujah. He's for me and I will not fear.

  571. What can man do to me? He does not want us to fear

  572. anything, Anything and especially man, Especially man

  573. because he has the final say and you don't have to fear not one

  574. person, no man, if you fear him, that's the only one.

  575. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Glory to God.

  576. Come on, have the worship team come up.

  577. My last scripture, Psalms 27 as they're coming up.

  578. Psalms 27, one through 6. The Lord is my light to see.

  579. The valley gets dark, the valley can get dark and a shadows cast,

  580. which means there's darkness. But you know what he says?

  581. The Lord is my light. He's our light.

  582. He's our light in the midst of that, and no matter how dark it

  583. gets, His light is always on. Isn't that a hotel slogan?

  584. We'll leave the light on for you.

  585. He's always got the light on for us.

  586. Glory to God, He always has the light.

  587. He's the light. Hallelujah and my salvation,

  588. whom shall I fear? The Lord is my refuge and my

  589. fortress of my life. Whom shall I dread When the

  590. wicked came against me to eat my flesh?

  591. Wow, OK, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell,

  592. though an army encamped against me.

  593. Listen to what He says. My heart will not fear.

  594. My heart will not fear. Though war arises against me,

  595. even in this I am confident. Hallelujah.

  596. See the confidence that you can have when you truly trust Him.

  597. It says one thing I've asked of the Lord and that I will seek

  598. that I would dwell in the House of the Lord in His presence all

  599. the days of my life to gaze upon His beauty.

  600. They delightful, the delightful loveliness, majestic grandeur of

  601. our Lord to meditate in His temple.

  602. Wow. Not only is he talking about the

  603. presence of God, he's talking about the House of the Lord.

  604. Do we love coming to the House of the Lord, meditating in His

  605. principles when we're here? That's what we're doing, guys.

  606. Being in His presence, gazing at His beauty, His goodness, His

  607. loving kindness. That's what it's about and we

  608. can't ever take that for granted that we've actually been

  609. welcomed into his house.
