  1. If you have your Bible, turn over to Matthew chapter 4,

    Matthew 4 chapter mention

  2. Matthew chapter 4. You know, a couple Sundays ago

    Matthew 4 chapter mention

  3. when I ministered on the, the bread, right, Kingdom life and

  4. Pastor Marcy last week ministered and I'm going to

  5. cover a couple things that she said last week.

  6. But that Sunday in my mind, I, we, we have a ministry

  7. coordinating meeting that we do the second Sunday of every

  8. month. So in my mind, I was thinking

  9. about that meeting, although we did not have it in December,

  10. because we did a vision casting later that week.

  11. So there was this concept concerning the bread that I was

  12. planning on just bringing to the ministry coordinators and, but

  13. obviously we didn't have that meeting.

  14. So, you know, it's one of those notes that I put in my notes.

  15. See, when I get things by the Spirit, sometimes, you know,

  16. they can come out that day, or sometimes I just marinate,

  17. meditate. We'll talk about that word here

  18. in a minute on those particular things.

  19. And then every once in a while, you know, when you're just kind

  20. of going through, Laura, what do you want me to preach?

  21. I'll start going through some notes of things that I have.

  22. And then some things just pop up.

  23. You know, I mean, the Holy Ghost says you need to go there.

  24. And so, you know, I was doing that today saying, OK, Laura,

  25. what do you want me to do to set up maybe next week, you know,

  26. just talking to him. I'd went out and prayed for a

  27. couple hours in the Spirit and came back and put myself in a

  28. position to hear. And then this popped up and I

  29. like, you know, I'm going to go there.

  30. So tonight's message is the crumbs, the crumbs.

  31. All right, Matthew 44 says this, but he answered and said it is

  32. written, man shall what not live on bread alone, but on every

  33. word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

  34. All right, few things here. Obviously in this passage of

  35. Scripture number one, man should not live solely based upon

  36. natural means. Man is going to have natural

  37. means that he needs to live on. That's why it says man shall not

  38. live on bread alone. You cannot become so spiritual

  39. that you you bypass physical. We are in a natural body, a

  40. physical body that needs physical things.

  41. God designed us that way, OK? And so he, you're not going to

  42. get so spiritual that you would never have to eat natural food

  43. again. He would sustain you by the

  44. Spirit. It's not going to happen.

  45. It's not going to happen. OK.

  46. So we just need to understand that there are natural things we

  47. are going to have to do in the earth, but we are not to let

  48. that be our sole thing that we pursue, OK.

  49. So man should not live on bread alone, but on every word that

  50. proceeds out of the mouth of God.

  51. So the number one priority for us in in living on the earth is

  52. to hear from God is to hear from God.

  53. OK, Now we ultimately know that there's a type and shadow here

  54. and Deuteronomy chapter 8, verse one through 3, there was a

    Deuteronomy 8 chapter mention

  55. reference here of Moses speaking to the Israelites and he said

  56. all the commandments that I'm commanding you today.

  57. This is the Lord speaking obviously through Moses, saying

  58. all the commandments that I'm commanding you today you shall

  59. be careful to do, and that you may live and multiply and go in

  60. and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your

  61. forefathers. You shall remember all the way

  62. which the Lord your God has LED you in the wilderness these 40

  63. years, that He might humble you, testing you to know what was in

  64. your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

  65. And let me just stop for a second.

  66. No, we know that God never intended for them to be in the

  67. wilderness for 40 years, OK? And the only reason they're in

  68. the wilderness for 40 years is because they did not do his word

  69. to go on in and possess. They went in to spy out to

  70. determine how we would do it. Not a problem until you decide

  71. God will not do what he says. And that's what they did.

  72. 10/12/12 tribe leaders went in, 10 came back saying there's no

  73. way we're going to be able to take this land.

  74. It's not going to happen, cannot happen.

  75. There are giants in the land. We are grasshoppers.

  76. They see us that way. We know we're this way.

  77. There's no way we can conquer Caleb and Joshua on another hand

  78. says we're well able. We can take it.

  79. There's no issue. They have the spirit of faith

  80. right? They're like God said it.

  81. We can do it and you understand what he did to Egypt.

  82. We already have a trial run with his power.

  83. We know what he can do to overturn nations.

  84. There's a really not a problem. You need to quiet down.

  85. We need to rally the troops and let's go on in but the 10

  86. stirred up the whole congregation.

  87. One translation says the nation of Israel and they bait they

  88. rebelled. They said we we can't do it.

  89. So the Lord is like, OK, then for the 40 days that you spied

  90. out the land, that's how many years you're going to stay out

  91. here in the wilderness? But he's staying out as they're

  92. out there. He's still training.

  93. Still training. Unfortunately those who died

  94. never learned the lesson that is verse three.

  95. He humbled you and let you be hungry and fed you with manna,

  96. which you did not know nor did your father's know that he might

  97. what make you understand that man does not live on bread

  98. alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of

  99. the mouth of the mouth of the Lord.

  100. Now that test was pretty quick, right, because he's like, OK,

  101. you're going to they were hungry.

  102. Said we're going to give you some manna be like, what is

  103. that? And so that morning he said, now

  104. listen, God's going to provide bread for you.

  105. Food man is what it was called, OK, and we're going to provide

  106. that for you. And each day you are to pick up

  107. enough to take care of your family.

  108. That's the instruction. So you get enough to take care

  109. of your family, don't get too much, don't get too less, get

  110. enough to feed your family. And you're going to do this

  111. every day until you get to the 6th day of the week.

  112. And on the 6th day of the week, you get to double up.

  113. OK, you're going to be at a double up because on the Sabbath

  114. we're going to let you rest. You don't have to go out and get

  115. food. You're going to have enough for

  116. the two days so that you can rest and remember what I've done

  117. because I want to keep you and remember.

  118. So what I'm doing, if you're following me, follow my voice.

  119. I am a God who does His Word. Well, what happened very first

  120. day? They pick up more and he said

  121. you when you pick it up, eat it all.

  122. Don't leave any overnight, right?

  123. He's giving them instruction what to do.

  124. But they're like, I don't feel like eating it all.

  125. I'm not going to. I'll just save that for

  126. tomorrow. Sounds like.

  127. What's the big deal? There's always a big deal when

  128. you do not do God's Word. It's a big deal.

  129. Now you understand, in our dispensation today, we kind of

  130. still treat it like, you know, it's not a big deal not to obey

  131. God. Well, we're undergrad.

  132. It's not a big deal. It's a big deal.

  133. There's never not, it's never not a big deal.

  134. It is a big deal. OK, Now, when I said that I was

  135. a double negative, never. Not So it's never OK for you to

  136. disobey God's word. You hear what I'm saying?

  137. So what we what we want to do is we want to obey God and it's

  138. always in because his words life so obviously they kept some over

  139. and it stonked. So everyone knows.

  140. Listen, when you don't obey God, it stinks prettiest.

  141. Now, unfortunately, not everyone know, but God knows.

  142. It never goes without God not noticing.

  143. And he's merciful. He'll forgive you.

  144. No issue there. You understand.

  145. I don't want you to feel condemned, but I also equally

  146. don't want you to be, you know, lazy in obedience.

  147. We don't want to create. A culture of Saints that's like,

  148. well, that's really not a big deal it.

  149. Is a big deal. And then good news is God will

  150. forgive you if you disobey. He's merciful, he's

  151. compassionate, he's kind. But just because he's that way

  152. doesn't mean I should treat him basically with contempt, so to

  153. speak. And say, you know, what if I do

  154. your word or not? As you know, like, you know, the

  155. old, the first Pirates of the Caribbean.

  156. Movie, you know, with the code, right, that means you saw

  157. Pirates of the Caribbean, right? And he said, well, it's more

  158. like I said, a guidelines. And what we do is we're treating

  159. God's word, who is the king and the ruler of all as really a set

  160. of guidelines. Well, the man, there are

  161. guidelines. Then you're making yourself king

  162. over the king. So every time again, if we're

  163. doing this analogy, you know which again, I didn't say it,

  164. the Lord says it. Man shall not live on bread

  165. alone, but of every word that proceeds out of my out of the

  166. mouth of God and he says I tested you in the wilderness to

  167. determine your heart to determine do you have are you

  168. willing? Will you fully submit?

  169. Because again. If they had.

  170. Taken enough mana, eaten it and left nothing over.

  171. Then the next day they would have gotten more food and there

  172. was multiple ways they were getting really creative on how

  173. to make mana. And so they do this for six days

  174. and then on 6 day they double up and so they have enough for the

  175. next day of which then they leave no leftovers when they get

  176. into the first of the week because we're now back to the

  177. same pattern or just enough for the day.

  178. And what we're doing is we're learning that God's word works.

  179. And anytime we deviated from that stench, right?

  180. And so I mean, we're really, we could always say, you know, when

  181. we find ourselves in a place that we knew God told us to do

  182. something, we didn't do it. We're like, man, I kind of put

  183. myself in a place where it stinks right now, you know, and

  184. it's kind of self-inflicted because, again, God.

  185. Didn't. God doesn't want your mana to

  186. stink or be unproductive or to rot and have worms, right?

  187. So as Pastor Marcy said last week, give us this day Our Daily

  188. Bread. You know, so obviously in the

  189. the bread we, we saw that the Lord is the bread of life, which

  190. is his word. And we need to seek after that

  191. bread. We need to seek after his word

  192. be submitted it. And then Pastor Marcy brought

  193. into the context then how do we eat that bread, right?

  194. Last week was, you know, 1 bottle of time.

  195. How do you personally eat the bread of life?

  196. Well, number one, you have to or she said you need to meditate.

  197. Joshua tells us that you're going to meditate on it day and

  198. night. The word meditate means to chew

  199. on it or to mutter. So not only are you chewing on

  200. it in your mind, you're running the word through, but you're

  201. also speaking it out as well. So that's in essence, you're

  202. eating the bread of life because it's getting in your spirit.

  203. OK, so again, there's this whole context of what they call mental

  204. ascent, which means you can receive God's Word just in your

  205. mind. Now anyone who has just mental

  206. ascent means they don't have revelation and you can quote

  207. something all day long, but you've never made it where it's

  208. governing your life. This is what religion does.

  209. People who are religious have a a mental or knowledge of God's

  210. word, but they do not let it govern their being.

  211. And when you don't let it govern your being, then in essence, you

  212. may have the knowledge of God, but you're not allowing it to

  213. govern how you live and, and, and you have the heart to want

  214. to do it. OK, so in order to meditate on

  215. that, you're chewing on it, you're getting it, you're having

  216. it, because once revelation hits, revelation never hits in

  217. your mind. Revelation always comes in your

  218. heart because the Word is sown into our hearts, which is our

  219. spirit man, OK. And once the Holy Spirit reveals

  220. to our spirit what God is. Saying Then it will illuminate

  221. our mind, it will renew our mind, and now we now have the

  222. spirit and soul in agreement that man, God's Word, is right.

  223. And I'm going to believe that now if my physical man is like

  224. can't happen, we can override with the other two realms.

  225. And that's how it was designed. You could not do it in the

  226. spirit or we're alive to God in the spirit until you were born

  227. again. So your spirit man was dead and

  228. it didn't matter how much you knew about God, it never

  229. assimilated into your life because it was not revelation.

  230. But the minute you became born again, then all of a sudden your

  231. spirit came alive. Now God's Word is alive and it's

  232. life to you. And as you meditate and chew on

  233. it and you receive it in, then it will give revelation in your

  234. mind to where that's how you think.

  235. And you want to think that way. So really there were a group of

  236. people. Now, we don't know their names,

  237. but there were a group of people in the wilderness that were

  238. picking up the manna as the Lord said, they were not having

  239. smelly issues. And now you understand this

  240. stuff so stunk so bad that they're like, let's don't do

  241. that again, OK? I mean, it was really so they

  242. didn't want to do it, which again, because we're alive to

  243. God, that's how we we should not want.

  244. To disobey God. So if our disobedience stuck as

  245. bad, stunk, as bad as the manna did, then we would probably do

  246. it less. But if we realize that if we get

  247. the revelation man that stinks to high, yes.

  248. OK, so Pastor Marcy gave us 4-5 things that we are to do in

  249. order to eat. Number one, we are to give

  250. attention to the Word. Come on, y'all doing all right?

  251. I take good notes, people. I did not ask her today.

  252. All I had to do is go to my notes, right?

  253. I'm, I'm doing you service, all right?

  254. Because I'm fixing to get to something that's going to blow

  255. your mind. All right #2 incline your ear.

  256. That means you have to consent and submit to the word #3 let

  257. the word not depart from your sight.

  258. You got to fix your eyes on it. Got to keep it in front of you.

  259. Now again, these are really easy and practical.

  260. It's what I love about Pastor Marcy when she gets in her

  261. teacher mode is they're extremely practical, but they

  262. are powerful because they are the difference between life and

  263. death. I have come through seasons of

  264. great challenge by applying these five things, as simple as

  265. that. And it's it's not rocket

  266. science. But it takes diligence to do

  267. that. And you have to be very

  268. consistent. Look, I'm going to give

  269. attention to the word, which means I'm not going to listen to

  270. anything else. I'm not giving attention to any

  271. other thing. I'm going to incline my hearing

  272. my my ear gait, as she said, my eye gait.

  273. I'm keeping the things that filter in.

  274. It's only the word, the rest. Of it, I take captive and I cast

  275. it down. I'm not going to let it dominate

  276. me. And again, when you've been

  277. around, you know, in ministry or you've been above believer for a

  278. while and you've heard this kind of teaching, this can almost go

  279. like. This.

  280. Yeah, I know. However application we can

  281. determine have you yawned yourself past application?

  282. Because again, you know, there's quite a few seafood restaurants

  283. in our community and salmon is something I.

  284. Habitually eat and I get excited every time and there's some

  285. restaurants I can get the same thing.

  286. Cracker Barrel breakfast, only I've never had anything else

  287. breakfast every time. All right #4 keep the word in

  288. your heart. Keep the word in your heart.

  289. You have to keep it. That means it doesn't stay

  290. there. You know, we almost treat the

  291. Lord or the Word or what we learn here like a lot of the

  292. students in school, and that is you learn enough for the test,

  293. you pass the test and then you forget the information.

  294. Right. You know.

  295. There are a lot of people in our Nation Today that have degrees

  296. that they're not even working in those fields.

  297. And they've been so far removed from when they received that

  298. degree, the bachelor of master of Doctorate of that they are so

  299. out of touch with the field that if they got into it today, they

  300. would be behind, completely behind, even though maybe 20

  301. years ago that was their degree and they can put on their

  302. application. I, you know, I have a bachelor's

  303. in graphic design. Well, you understand if you were

  304. in advertising, marketing advertisement 20 years ago, it's

  305. different today, right? So you have to.

  306. Keep and that's effort, all right, and that's your

  307. responsibility. God's not going to keep it for

  308. you. You have to keep it.

  309. And then the last one was the word is life to those who find

  310. it in essence, feed your spirit. It feeds your spirit.

  311. It is what makes your spirit man alive.

  312. And again, it's easy for me I because of just navigating I can

  313. always tell when my tank spiritual tank is not.

  314. Full. It's a very easy indicator.

  315. Do you want to know if your spiritual tank is full When

  316. something occurs, what comes first?

  317. Flesh or spirit? What comes first?

  318. And then which stays longer now for me, I'm like a time guy, OK,

  319. What do I mean by that? We all get through issues of

  320. life, challenges and life that, you know, it challenges our

  321. flesh and we're having to crucify that thing.

  322. OK. But you want to be a bit like

  323. David. David is not the only person

  324. whoever repented. But what was about David?

  325. He repented quickly, so there was a time frame of repentance.

  326. He did not drag this thing out. He was someone who would quickly

  327. repent when he realized I'm wrong.

  328. I'm going to get that right. So, you know, for if you get

  329. into a situation and all of a sudden you're responding fleshly

  330. and the Holy Ghost is saying you need to make the adjustment, you

  331. know, giving you your 5 practical things of how you need

  332. to eat some bread of life in this situation and you're having

  333. a heart. You're, you're basically

  334. rejecting the plate. Well, what by the time you start

  335. consuming the plate, what's that time period?

  336. And you want to be able to get that thing reduced, because when

  337. you're full, that thing could turn quickly.

  338. You could turn quickly. Because in life, you're going to

  339. get hurt. In life, you're going to have

  340. challenges. Offenses are going to come.

  341. You cannot stop offenses from coming, OK.

  342. However, how you deal with it is going to be how well are you

  343. eating the bread of life? Because the Bible has the answer

  344. to all man's problems and questions.

  345. There's not one that the Word does not cover.

  346. There's not one situation you're in that the Word does not cover.

  347. You just have to seek. All right.

  348. OK, So with that being said, this could be my last review

  349. scripture and that is in John 6 because this is setting us up

  350. John 632. Definitely not to 68, it's only

  351. to 35. I have 68 mine.

  352. John 632 to 35 says this. Jesus said to them, truly,

  353. truly, truly, truly, not lie, lie, truly, truly.

  354. I say to you, it is not Moses who has given underline that

  355. word given you the bread of bread out of heaven, but it is

  356. my Father who gives underline that word you the true bread out

  357. of heaven. For the bread of God is that

  358. which comes down out of heaven and gives underline that word

  359. gives gives life to the world. Then they said to him, Lord

  360. always what give underline that give us this bread.

  361. Jesus says verse 35. Jesus said to them, I am the

  362. bread of life. He who comes to me will not

  363. hunger and he who believes in me will never thirst.

  364. OK, so. The first time we ministered on

  365. the bread, we obviously left with the context.

  366. The bread of life is the word of God.

  367. Pastor Marcy last week talked about, well, how do you eat the

  368. bread of life? Well, you've one bite at a time.

  369. And she gave us practical ways that we can ingest.

  370. Now the next thing is how do you serve it?

  371. Because it's one thing for us to identify what the bread of life

  372. is, how we do personal consumption, but you are

  373. supposed to give it because here in this scripture, notice God

  374. does not keep bread for himself, nor is he which God he's life.

  375. So at the end of the day, he applies everything he says.

  376. God does not go against his own word.

  377. God is not a man that he should, which means God in his

  378. sovereignty, meaning he has all power.

  379. He doesn't say something to you that he is unwilling to keep.

  380. Himself. This is why, when everything's

  381. said and done and we have a new heaven and new earth, all that

  382. are thrown into the lake of fire are those who are with Him.

  383. Everyone. Every.

  384. Creative being will know he's the only just one who is able to

  385. keep his word, period. He's just.

  386. He's just He is a keeper of His word.

  387. So again, when we start the Bible in Genesis 1, he said let

  388. us make man in our image according to our likeness and

  389. let them have dominion. God gave a rulership that He

  390. will not violate because He spoke it.

  391. So that means when the when you know, the devil came into the

  392. garden and deceived Eve and Adam rebelled, God didn't jump in and

  393. say, wait a minute, I'm the ruler.

  394. You can't do that. His word locked him out of the

  395. situation because he won't violate it and he's all

  396. powerful. I mean, he's already kicked out

  397. this, you know, serpent in the garden out of his realm anyway.

  398. Why doesn't he just come down and kick him out there?

  399. Because he's given it and he's bound to his own word.

  400. This is why he comes down and he says, OK, I'm going to have to

  401. bring my seed through man. Because if I gave it to man and

  402. he lost it, then a man must come in order to get it back, because

  403. it's man's. I will not violate my Word.

  404. Jesus then is born, you know, at the proper time.

  405. So God has to come as a man because He will not violate His

  406. Word. This is why you know as well as

  407. I do God desires that none would perish.

  408. Well, just because He has a desire doesn't mean everyone is

  409. not going to perish. So you can't build a doctrine

  410. that there's no hell or there is no, you know, you know, second

  411. death because you know God desires at all would repent.

  412. Well, obviously that's his desire, but he won't violate his

  413. word and make you make him Lord of your life.

  414. He gives you the free will. He does not violate His word

  415. concerning you. So everyone who goes to hell,

  416. God didn't send them, They wanted to go.

  417. He enforces His word to them. You chose not to receive me.

  418. This is the consequence because He won't violate His word

  419. because to Him His word is life and he cannot violate it.

  420. Now there are situations in Scripture when people read this

  421. again, and let's be wise when we read it because again, we know

  422. that he came down. He said, Moses, man, just get

  423. out of the way. I'm gonna smoke these.

  424. People. We'll just eliminate them and

  425. start a whole nother nation with you.

  426. We understand, Moses says. Don't.

  427. He says he changed his mind. What did he change when?

  428. He didn't change his mind he just changed when because he

  429. cannot allow the disobedience to go on without something.

  430. Now God also if you read the law when he gave when Moses is

  431. right, there is this pathway of repentance because he said now

  432. if the nation does these things, then this is the blessing

  433. deuteron 28. If they do these things, if they

  434. don't obey, then this is the consequence occur.

  435. But it says now if they and he talks about he said if they

  436. because they disobey and they get scattered all but if they

  437. will repent, I'll gather. So he gives provision.

  438. SO1 case in point, Hezekiah is a king and the Lord sends the

  439. prophet to him and says tell him he's going to die, get his house

  440. in order. What did God say that?

  441. Absolutely. And is he going to do that?

  442. Yes, unless Hezekiah enacts one of his other words which would

  443. bring in his compassion, and that is repentance.

  444. And he did remember, he throws aside and he began to layout and

  445. repent. And because he repented, God has

  446. another word for a repenter. And again, this is in a

  447. scripture. It says he says, because again,

  448. there was this argument kind of with God.

  449. God says if a person is doing their life and they're doing bad

  450. and they're evil and they're just running, but they repent

  451. and change, then God will forgive them.

  452. And you'll say that's not right Because then he says, if

  453. somebody's following me, obey me, doing great, and then in the

  454. end starts doing evil, then he'll judge them according.

  455. He said that's not right. And it is right, because God

  456. does his word. He's not changing.

  457. He's not. Oh, well, I said that, but I'm

  458. not going to do it. No, I said this.

  459. But now if you do what else I've said, then you can enact me to

  460. move here, 'cause, man, He is merciful.

  461. He is so full of compassion. He is so long-suffering.

  462. I'm so glad he's long-suffering. Amen.

  463. Now, there may be indication during the millennial reign that

  464. that will look a lot different because they'll be physically

  465. present. That judgement will be paid out

  466. in a quicker measure if we read the scripture.

  467. OK, so God wants to give us the bread.

  468. So in essence, the bread of life was never designed to be for you

  469. to consume only. Not only do you you need to

  470. consume it so that you can Jesus Christ said I do the will of my

  471. father first. He ingests the will.

  472. He was a studier of the word. He knew what his father's will

  473. was. He meditated on it, he muttered

  474. it, he kept it. He said anything I'm but then he

  475. knew how to distribute. OK, so when we recognize that

  476. the bread of life, I mean, God is talking to humanity, that he

  477. wants to sustain them, not with just natural, but with his word.

  478. And then we can be an example of what that looks like.

  479. I mean, we walk into the office, we walk into our homes, we walk

  480. into a place of business and you know, we walk in, you know, to a

  481. reunion, whatever the case may be, people would be like, wow,

  482. you should be so well nourished in the word that it's obvious.

  483. And they're like, how are you taking care of you?

  484. What is go? How come your life's like was

  485. what you're eating? But guess what?

  486. You can say do you want some? And you have to learn how to be

  487. at a distribute. OK, now let's look at Mark

    Mark 7 chapter mention

  488. Chapter 7. Now Mark Chapter 7, I'm going to

    Mark 7 chapter mention

  489. only read the first few verses because we're going to look at

  490. the Matthew account of this specifically, All right?

  491. But I want to look at the Mark because it says some things a

  492. little bit different so we can get a full picture.

  493. Because a lot of times when we read scripture, if we don't

  494. watch out, we just kind of read through it.

  495. And we, we're not imagining like what's taking place here, OK?

  496. Because you know, there's going to be people in the room right

  497. now that are going to be very uncomfortable with what took

  498. place in these passage of Scripture.

  499. If you see it for how it reads, not gloss over it and act like

  500. this did not occur. OK, Mark Chapter 7, verse 24 to

    Mark 7:24–26

  501. 26. Jesus got up and went away.

  502. And I'm going to break it down verse by verse, OK?

  503. Jesus got up, went away from there to the region of Tara, and

  504. when he had entered a house, when he had entered a house,

  505. what's the next statement? Say he wanted no one to know of

  506. it. He entered in the house.

  507. He doesn't want anyone to know he's there.

  508. So what is Jesus's attitude? I don't want to talk to nobody.

  509. I don't want to be around nobody.

  510. I don't want to convert. I sure don't want to minister.

  511. I don't want to do nothing. That's what Jesus wanted.

  512. He entered the house. He wanted no one to know of it.

  513. I don't want nobody know I'm here, OK?

  514. I'm trying to get away. I mean, we all just sometimes

  515. need to get away if we feel like, man, I just need to get

  516. away. Right, OK, but look what it

  517. says. Yet he could not escape.

  518. So you understand, he couldn't escape notice.

  519. So the ones that don't know he's there.

  520. It's not like Jesus. Like we'll bring them on.

  521. Come on, Jesus. Jesus always has time for you.

  522. Well, not in his flesh. There was times in his flesh

  523. your life. And I can.

  524. Can I get a moment here? Right.

  525. Because again, what do we do? Well, if you're pastor, you got

  526. to be available all the time. Well, Jesus didn't want to be

  527. available all the time, right? Right.

  528. I mean, we, we. And if you don't watch out like

  529. friendships, there's all you're like.

  530. You want them available all the time.

  531. OK, verse 20. Five, but after hearing of him,

  532. OK, so he hasn't escaped. Notice.

  533. More than one person knows he's there, but all of a sudden

  534. someone else hears he's her in town and she shows up a woman

  535. whose little daughter had an unclean spirit.

  536. Now this is this is a problem. His daughter has an issue.

  537. She has an unclean spirit, so she's possessed of an unclean.

  538. Spirit, it's not good situation. All right, OK.

  539. What this this woman who has a daughter of an unclean

  540. immediately came and fell at his feet.

  541. So she got in the house, right? I mean, you just set back to

  542. relax and all of a sudden, BAM, somebody's at your feet and

  543. they're asking you to do something.

  544. You're like, it's kind of like my dog.

  545. My dog knows when a particular show.

  546. The news show that my wife and I watch, we record it because I

  547. much rather watch it recorded than when it comes on that way I

  548. can just blow through the commercials.

  549. OK, I just. And again, if they're talking

  550. points silly I can push on too, but it's.

  551. Amazing. I can sit down on my side of the

  552. couch. My wife has a side that has the

  553. chase, OK, And she's there. I'm over here, very comfortable.

  554. I'm telling you, within 60 seconds she is over here by the

  555. glass, by the our glass lighting doors and she starts doing this.

  556. Really now this doesn't matter whether we just took her out 30

  557. minutes ago. This is irrelevant.

  558. It's when that show comes on, it's like she knows the music

  559. montage. I mean, it's like, and and

  560. again, it comes on at a very specific time.

  561. So even if it's two hours later when we get home and we've just

  562. let her out 30 minutes ago and then she here, it's like, I got

  563. to go. She's like that.

  564. I'm like, now I'm going to be honest with you, sometimes I

  565. hold out for my wife. So 9.5 times out of 10, I'm

  566. getting up and I don't have a problem with that.

  567. But there are times you're kind of like, and my wife's gracious,

  568. you know, when she doesn't see me moving and she's still, you

  569. know, doing her little, you know, trying to talk to me as a

  570. human being, right? I'm like.

  571. Then she starts to. No, I got it.

  572. I'll do it right. But I'm like, Jesus, I don't

  573. even want her to know I'm at the house.

  574. I don't want the dog to know I'm home so I don't have to get up

  575. and let her out, right? Because we just did this 30

  576. minutes ago. How is it you're going again?

  577. OK, so after hearing this woman comes in this, her daughter's

  578. got a real big issue. She falls down at his feet.

  579. Verse 26. Now, the woman was a Gentile,

  580. the Saarphoenician of the Saarphoenician race, which means

  581. she was of two nations, OK? She had, she was mixed between

  582. two nations, OK. And she kept asking him to cast

  583. the demon out of her daughter. All right, now let's go over to

  584. the Matthew account. Matthew 15 has this account.

  585. We're going to look at it and we'll finish it on through.

  586. But we'll repeat some things. Matthew 1521 to 28, it says

  587. Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district and a

  588. Canaanite woman, which is a Gentiles are Phoenician, OK,

  589. She's not from Israel, she's not part of Jesus's nation.

  590. OK, From that region came and began to cry out saying have

  591. mercy on me. Lord, son of David, my daughter

  592. is cruelly demon possessed. Now how is her daughter demon

  593. possessed? Cruelly now?

  594. She's talking to who? Who's she talking to?

  595. Come on, who's she talking to? Jesus.

  596. We're talking love embodied in the flesh.

  597. Jesus, who already has this thought?

  598. I really don't want nobody to know I'm even in the house.

  599. However, people are here now and now this lady's here and she's

  600. not even from Israel. She's in none of our tribe.

  601. She's by all right what they call a heathen.

  602. She's a gentile. There's this is problematic.

  603. Just culturally OK. And she is crying out the other

  604. mark count communicates how she repeatedly is saying this right.

  605. So it's not just a one time that's Jesus.

  606. I'm going to ask one time and that's it.

  607. No, she's repeatedly saying this very distressed, crying out,

  608. most likely emotionally distraught and and why wouldn't

  609. you be? Your daughter is cruelly demon

  610. possessed. Look what it says in verse 23.

  611. But he what he did not answer her a word.

  612. You're Jesus did not answer her a word and he's righteous and

  613. just. He loves this woman way more

  614. than you do and any calls you're covering.

  615. He didn't say a word. This is mind blowing in him.

  616. He did not answer her a word and his disciples came and implored

  617. to him saying because they noticed he's not talking to her,

  618. he's not responding to her and all she's doing is continuing to

  619. yell, making a scene. I mean if you're not going to

  620. converse then send her away. But she just keeps shouting at

  621. us. Now he's going to talk to her.

  622. But he answered and said and he's talking to the woman.

  623. He said I was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of.

  624. Israel, are you hearing me? So in this is like.

  625. I have an assignment and you're not in that assignment.

  626. But she came and begged, began to bow down, saying, Lord help

  627. me. All right, let's keep reading.

  628. So it goes. And he answered and says it is

  629. not good. Now he's talking to her.

  630. Now look what he says to her. It is not good to take the

  631. children's what? The children's what?

  632. Now? What is the bread?

  633. Because he didn't answer her a word he says.

  634. It is not good to take the children's bread, meaning the

  635. word of my nation, and throw it to the dogs.

  636. Oh yeah, I don't. Want to hear this?

  637. OK, are we talking real dogs here?

  638. So who's he talking to? The Gentiles, the nation she's

  639. of. In essence, he's saying I'm not

  640. giving bread to you. A dog, Jesus.

  641. Said this now. I'm going to tell you right now

  642. people would be on CNN right now, Fox News, we'd be all up in

  643. the uproar that Jesus would talk to somebody or anybody would

  644. talk to somebody like that in an uproar because God, Jesus knows

  645. the value of the bread of life because the bread of life is not

  646. to be consumed on personal pleasures or your own wants.

  647. We know this because it says, why do we have all these

  648. quarrels? And James and he says, listen,

  649. you have not because you ask not, but when you ask, you ask a

  650. miss. So you're asking me for an

  651. answer, but when you ask me for the answer, you're asking a

  652. miss. You really just want my word so

  653. you can get a blessing, but you don't want me.

  654. See, this is the problem Jesus had with his own nation.

  655. He says, man, I'm working miracles doing all this stuff.

  656. And yet you're missing the whole point.

  657. You're you're not wanting me. I am the word.

  658. So he says it's not good to take the children's bread and throw

  659. it to the dogs. Now this woman is way.

  660. I mean, this lady is on a next level because believers can't

  661. even function like this. Believers can't even function

  662. like this. We know the world doesn't

  663. function like this at all. I mean, the minute you say

  664. something to somebody that it's an uproar, you're going to post

  665. it everywhere, all over social media.

  666. You're going to lambast them and all the stuff.

  667. And then you're going to post all their texts that they text

  668. to you. I mean, you're just going to rat

  669. them out. You're going to just man.

  670. And then it happens. Even in the church, Jesus says

  671. this. She doesn't go out and say, oh,

  672. that Messiah, you know, this Jesus, this one who raised the

  673. dead and healed the sick enough. He didn't do nothing for me.

  674. I went and asked him. My daughter was cruel as as did

  675. look at her. She did and he would do nothing,

  676. wouldn't even talk to me. He called me a dog.

  677. But man, she was beyond that because at the end of the day,

  678. she knows this. His bread gets results.

  679. And I don't. I don't care what you think

  680. about me. I need your bread at the end of

  681. the I don't care what you think about me.

  682. I am no. Good.

  683. I know what where I come from, where I know what state I'm in.

  684. I'm just I know this. Your bread heals.

  685. It does it. It does it.

  686. So she says to him, this is powerfully what she said, but

  687. she said yes. Most of may more people would

  688. denounce Jesus at this point. I mean, because they've

  689. denounced their brothers and sisters.

  690. I mean, they'll, they'll, they won't walk in unity that we've

  691. been talking about, you know, because maybe said somebody said

  692. something away or referred something to such a wall.

  693. I can't even I mean this woman, if anyone can be offended at the

  694. Lord Jesus Christ and hold him to his own words.

  695. But this is bigger because when she stands in his friend, she

  696. said she knows this, he's right, he's righteous, He's just and

  697. anything he says about me and directs he's right on.

  698. And I'm sure not going to wear my feelings because I I need

  699. results. When you need results, you'll

  700. crucify your flesh. You will put your own thinking

  701. down. You will make some adjustments,

  702. she says. Yes, Lord, you're supreme and

  703. authority, You're righteous. But even the dogs feed on the

  704. crumbs. Which fall from the master's

  705. table. Jeez.

  706. How many people have just disassociated with a local body?

  707. Church just disassociated. Well, you know, they preach this

  708. and they preach that, you know, I got it.

  709. I can't believe they would say that.

  710. I mean, this woman's like, I don't care.

  711. I just want crumbs. Oh y'all don't want to hear

  712. this? I mean, man, when you, when you

  713. know that the master has all the answers, you'll go past certain

  714. conversations and you'll come and you're like, man, I don't

  715. care if all I get out of service today are crumbs because man, a

  716. crumb will absolutely change your life.

  717. I mean, you start just eating crumbs.

  718. It has the power to break demonic strongholds of your

  719. life. Wow.

  720. Just get a crumb, man. Yeah.

  721. People want to come and give me the revelation.

  722. Yeah. You need a crumb.

  723. I mean, a crumb would do some awesome things in your life,

  724. man. Wow's right.

  725. Yes, Lord. But even the dogs.

  726. You're right about us. You're right about me.

  727. You're right about my whole race, but even the dogs feed on

  728. the crumbs which fall from the master's table.

  729. Then Jesus said to her, Oh woman, before he didn't even

  730. talk to her. He didn't even talk to her.

  731. Oh woman, your crumbs can get you faith.

  732. That is great. I mean, you don't need a whole

  733. Revelation loaf. I mean you just need crumbs.

  734. Crumbs will get you into great faith.

  735. Listen, that means you can come into a service that you have

  736. eaten the the loaf or bread of revelation concerning faith

  737. healing, prosperity, authority of the believer, a multiplicity

  738. of subjects. And then you come in, you're

  739. like, man, I want another loaf. And the Lord's like, listen, I'm

  740. giving you some crumbs today. That is from the loaf I've

  741. already given you. But yet we disdain those crumbs.

  742. But we want another loaf. But crumbs will get great faith

  743. in you. So instead of getting offended

  744. at the Master because through his fivefold ministry, he's

  745. ministering truths to number one, maybe 'cause things to come

  746. to your remembrance, to continue to strengthen you, to give you a

  747. meal you've already had 100 times before.

  748. But my gosh, man, if you get it for what it is, you'll remember

  749. the first time you tested that sweet potato casserole in your

  750. life. Bro, please give me another

  751. portion. Attitude determines everything.

  752. Crumbs, man, crumbs, crumbs. In essence, I understand that

  753. this is being served to someone else, but if I can just get.

  754. A crumb of revelation. I don't even have listen with

  755. Saints today they had like. You don't put me at the table.

  756. I'm not coming. This one was like I'm under the

  757. table. I just, I don't care.

  758. I don't care. I don't care whether I'm in the

  759. back or the front. I don't care what they

  760. recognize. I mean I'm under the table just

  761. waiting for it to fall because when it does I'm going to grab

  762. it like it's the only thing worth.

  763. Eating. Man, this is awesome, right?

  764. Jesus said to her, old woman, your faith is great.

  765. It shall be done for you as you wish.

  766. And her daughter was healed at once.

  767. I said. Her daughter was healed at once.

  768. I said her daughter was healed at once.

  769. If she would have been offended by his lack of attentiveness, if

  770. she would have been affected by his silence, by him ignoring

  771. her, then if she then when he finally spoke, he's like, the

  772. word you want is for my nation, not you, She would have got

  773. offended. All that.

  774. She would have left and her daughter still would have been

  775. cruelly demon possessed. However, she knows the value of

  776. the bread of life and just a crumb from it.

  777. Just a crumb. Listen, it may not be for me

  778. specifically, but if I could just get a Chrome, I know it had

  779. changed me. Are you hearing me now?

  780. Why do I say that? Because I'm a prophecy a little

  781. bit. I got this by the Spirit.

  782. Now I'm using the Scripture because again, any prophecy that

  783. doesn't have some context in Scripture is not real prophecy.

  784. OK, when I say that I'm talking about unction of the Spirit

  785. through the gifts of the Spirit. OK, I'm prophesying.

  786. Many of you. Says the Spirit of the Lord, are

  787. not giving away your crumbs because you've not valued what

  788. you already know. The spirit of the Lord says, I

  789. want to remind you of a of the prophet who went to the widow

  790. during the famine, Elijah, and when he went to her house, he

  791. says, make me some bread first. She says, I only have enough to

  792. make me a little bit and my son a little bit and then we're

  793. going to die. He says, make it for me first,

  794. says the word of the Lord, and if you'll do that, then make

  795. y'all some this thing's not going to run out.

  796. And by faith the crumb of the meal they had multiplied every

  797. day till the famine was over. The Spirit of the Lord says, do

  798. you not remember how small, how small the amount of bread was

  799. used to feed 5000 men? Do you remember how many small

  800. in comparison amount of bread or loaves were used when feeding

  801. the 4000 men? He said the things you already

  802. know, what you think you don't know, but what you do know.

  803. There's enough power in what you know that there are people

  804. you're encountering today, and you're embarrassed to give

  805. crumbs. But the crumbs you give, what

  806. seems insignificant to you. God can multiply.

  807. In fact, let me just say it this way.

  808. Jesus says as I am in the earth, so are if he was the bread of

  809. life, which was the carrier of the word of God.

  810. You are a carrier of the Word of God, which means God can

  811. multiply as little as you think you are into something so

  812. significant it can just. Keep coming off you and out of

  813. you. And touch whomever you come.

  814. You have an endless supply of the bread of life to feed

  815. people, even if all you're giving away is crumbs.

  816. So it doesn't matter whether you have graduated from Bible school

  817. and been in ministry or or or or been in the church for 30 or

  818. 4050 years. Doesn't matter no matter how

  819. many books you've read, how many times you've gone through the

  820. Bible, because even if you were born again yesterday, you have

  821. enough in your testimony that it can multiply.

  822. Don't be ashamed of it. Give your bread away because

  823. what you have, God can multiply. God can cause a word you say to

  824. your Co worker to multiply in their ears for the next month.

  825. One word, one word, 1 phrase, one act of kindness out of from

  826. God that the Lord says listen, buy their lunch and tell them I

  827. care about them. Listen I'm just gonna buy you

  828. lunch. The Lord want me to do this,

  829. said he cares about you or the Lord just wanted me to do it.

  830. That's all you say. You just give an acknowledgement

  831. where you heard it and why you're doing it.

  832. And God can take that one word, that crumb, and pound on the

  833. heart of that person night and day by the remembrance of the

  834. Holy Ghost. And one person, someone you

  835. think there's no way they would ever give their lives to God.

  836. That one action, that one crumb has demonic or has the ability

  837. to crush demonic strongholds. There's nothing that the enemy

  838. can do. That a crumb can't set free.

  839. Wow. Say Hallelujah.

  840. Say Amen. Hallelujah.

  841. Thank you, Jesus. I said thank you, Jesus.

  842. Well, Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.

  843. Let me close with a warning. OK, There's a warning for

  844. withholding bread, even crumbs. We find this in Luke chapter 16

    Luke 16:19–25

  845. verse 19 to 25. I won't read the whole account.

  846. This is not a parable. This is an actual occurrence and

  847. the reason it's not a parable because number one, it doesn't

  848. start. You know, the Kingdom of God is

  849. like, or that Jesus spoke a parable saying, OK, another

  850. thing is any place that he said the Kingdom of God is like or

  851. you know, another parable or he spoke this parable.

  852. He always used general terms. He never used natural names.

  853. In this case, he talks about real people.

  854. So again, if you would, if you thought this is a parable, then

  855. you have to conclude that Abraham never existed.

  856. He's a fictional character. OK, says Now there was a rich

  857. man, Jesus said, And he habitually dressed in purple and

  858. fine linen, joyously living a splendor every day, living in

  859. splendor every day. And a poor man named Lazarus was

  860. laid by his what by his what by his what?

  861. His gait covered with sores. Now what did Lazarus?

  862. Long, for at his gate he longed to be fed with the crumbs which

  863. were falling from the rich man's table.

  864. But he wasn't at the table. He wasn't even under the table,

  865. he was at the gate and it says that even dogs were coming and

  866. licking his sores. The poor man died and was

  867. carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom.

  868. That was paradise doesn't exist anymore because Jesus split that

  869. open and pull those people out. OK.

  870. And the rich man also died and was buried in Hades.

  871. He's in hell. Or the grave, he's in torment.

  872. He lifted up his eyes, being in torment and saw Abraham far away

  873. and Lazarus in his bosom. Verse 24.

  874. And he cried out and said, father Abraham, the guy knew who

  875. Abraham was, recognized in the spirit, who he was.

  876. There's no indication that this was during Abraham's time.

  877. He said have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip

  878. the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am

  879. in agony in this flame. Now notice he's asking for

  880. Lazarus that he passed at the his gate every day so

  881. positionally. In fact his spiritual position

  882. has not changed. Even though he's in torment, he

  883. is still only thinking of himself.

  884. So agony. Anyone who goes to the lake of

  885. fire in the end will not have ever have a change of heart.

  886. They'll still be selfish. OK, But Abraham said.

  887. Child, remember that during your life you received your good

  888. things and likewise Lazarus bad things.

  889. But now he is being comforted here and you are in agony.

  890. Ultimately he says, listen, I couldn't come over there if I

  891. wanted to. You can't come over here.

  892. We got this thing in between US. In essence, the righteous dead

  893. was in paradise. The unrighteous dead is holding

  894. for the the weighted Great White Throne judgement trial that is

  895. to come at a later. Date that has not happened yet,

  896. OK? The point here is he said,

  897. listen, Lazarus had his bad things.

  898. You know what was bad about Lazarus?

  899. The bad things he received is that he had a rich man go past

  900. him every day at his gate. He knows he's hungry and he is

  901. eating his bread. And he never once even thought

  902. or considered to offer him a crumb.

  903. Everyone in this room that is born again, you're carrying

  904. bread. You're carrying bread if we

  905. never give. Then we are.

  906. Rich people that are eating the bread of life to ourselves,

  907. we're filling ourselves to the full, but we're not even willing

  908. to give crumbs to those that we see day in and day out.

  909. And at the leading of the Holy Ghost, he says give them

  910. something. Now there's some that he, the

  911. Lord, can say, don't even talk to him, because I wasn't going

  912. to talk to that woman either. Listen, if the Cyre Phoenician

  913. woman had quit asking, she would have left without anything.

  914. She wanted it so bad that her faith was revealed sometimes.

  915. I'm going to give you another scripture.

  916. We are casting our pearls before the so there's some people you

  917. don't need to give a crumb to until they're exhibiting their

  918. faith. But if you know someone has a

  919. need, and you can meet the need, and you sense in your spirit

  920. you're supposed to, then even if all you have is a crumb they're

  921. wanting. It.

  922. A lot of times we don't distribute because they're like,

  923. man, I, I can't help them. But what you do have is really

  924. all they want because the Lazarus didn't want to be at the

  925. table. He was longing just for the

  926. crumbs. And there's many out there that

  927. do not believe, like the Phoenician woman who did not

  928. argue with Jesus. You're right.

  929. But even the. Dogs.

  930. You're right about me, Lord. You're right.

  931. You're right. I don't deserve the words that

  932. you speak to your nation. I get that.

  933. I'm not in covenant. I'm outside.

  934. I'm an outside. That's true.

  935. But I would want to be. I would make you my Lord.

  936. I know you are Lord, and I'm born in this nation.

  937. If I could have been born in yours, I would have been.

  938. But I know you're Lord nonetheless.

  939. And man, when she demonstrated her faith and said, you know,

  940. even the dogs eat crumbs, just give me a Chrome.

  941. So sometimes you think, man, I got to do.

  942. They just want the Chrome. And you have that.

  943. Let's pray.
